I Hate Jill Zarin  The Real Housewives of New York – The Blogs

The reunion has created quite a stir in the Housewives Internet world.   Articles, blogs, Twitter and Facebook have exploded!  Not since Teresa Giudice threw Andy Cohen back into his chair has there been so much activity, discussions and criticism of a Housewife on a Reunion show.  Unlike the Teresa incident on The Real Housewives of New Jersey incident, this New York Reunion has people talking about all of them!  (well except Cindy, not much to say about the dull one!)

Cindy’s rudeness and her lack of any remorse for her behavior could have been the big story but the arguments but the vulgar language and Andy Cohen screaming, “Shut the fuck up!” not once but twice was big news and left us all a whole lot to talk about.

Kelly’s blog was the butt of many jokes since the woman can’t even add 54 plus 54, somehow her pea brain came up with 109, but don’t be too hard on Kel Kel, she’s got a lot on her mind being the voice of reason and all.  Kelly asked us if we think she wants to see a 40-something woman’s vulva?   Then she added, FYI, I’m not a gyno.  (in case you were confused and thought Kelly went to med school)  Do you suppose that nano-second that Sonja swung her legs around that Kelly was able to see Sonja’s vulva?  If  you’re claiming you did see that Kelly, describe it!  Quick!  Now add 51 + 51, Now spell Mississippi…. aww Kel, sorry I didn’t mean to tax your brain!  Let’s all leave Kelly to her thoughts.  Run like hell!

Bethenny’s name came up a few times at the reunion show, I wonder if she was watching.  If she wanted a really good laugh and to breathe a sigh of relief because she’s done with all things Housewives , she probably tuned in last night.  Jill told us in her blog that she’s been in touch with Bethenny and insinuates that there is a possibility that they could rebuild their relationship, “we’ll see what happens”  is what Jill told viewers.

I suppose after months of speed dialing Bethenny maybe she accidentally answered the phone or maybe Jill sent her 10,000th text to Bethenny and Bryn was playing with Bethenny’s phone and responded with “BBBBBBB” and Jill was excited.  Maybe the two of them ran into each other in The Hamptons or at the local McDonalds and Bethenny couldn’t run fast enough because she had the stroller and all.  Bethenny tweets often that she walks around her neighborhood with her daughter, maybe she’s regretting that now if Jill spent hours and days lurking around Bethenny’s neighborhood hoping to catch a glimpse of that sweet baby.

I don’t think that Bethenny was kidding when she said that she didn’t want the toxic influence of Jill Zarin around her innocent baby girl.  I doubt anything Jill did on the show this season would lead Bethenny to believe that Jill has changed, there is no way Bethenny has changed her mind and would allow Jill Zarin near her adorable baby girl.

Jill forgets that we’ve all watched Bethenny’s show and we’ve gotten a glimpse into her new life, there is no way Bethenny will allow Jill into that wonderful life.  Jill also forgets that Jason Hoppy doesn’t like her, do you really think that Bethenny would ever go against her husband?   Get a grip Jill Zarin!

Alex’s blog, as always, enlightens us to things that we may have missed or things that we did not know while watching, she starts off with a really good point about Cindy’s hypocracy:

There were multiple times tonight where all seven of us, plus Andy, were talking over each other, and a couple of things got lost in the chatter. When Cindy got huffy at Sonja about Quogue, I reminded her of her attitude about Governors Island, a trip of seven minutes vs. an hour.

Cindy did make a big deal about going “all the way” to Govenors Island to join Alex’s birthday party.  It’s not surprising with Cindy, she is never happy, satisfied or in a good mood.  I think Alex was right, Cindy needs to get laid!

I’m amazed that LuAnn always looks shocked when people point out that she is often less than gracious and kind to many of us

That amazes me too, maybe she really doesn’t watch herself on television, a lot of people are hesitant to watch themselves or hear themselves and can’t watch/listen to themselves.  Goodness knows Luann has good reason to cringe while watching herself.  The moments in the studio singing are all good examples of that.

Alex also pointed out what many of us noted, Kelly’s claim of being Cosmo’s one of five nicest celebrities is no where to be found.  I’ll admit I didn’t study every issue of the magazine but typically these magazines will repeat a lot of their content on line but no mention of Kelly Bensimon in Cosmo was found anywhere.  It’s funny because Kelly seems to tweet a photo of magazine articles about herself anytime they appear, I would have guessed that if Kel Kel was mentioned in a positive way in Cosmo, Kelly would have taken a photo of it and tweeted it as she usually does.  We’ll wait for you to show us Kel Kel, no pressure!

Here’s a good point from Alex:

Sonja really opened up about her financial and marital issues, and I felt for her. It’s funny how that goes — if LuAnn dropped her attitude we’d all feel for her too.

It’s true both Sonja and Luann have been through similar situations, and all women handle divorce and heartache differently.  Luann’s never cried about it on screen, she’s never talked about how she’s hurting, she was always very business-like but she certainly used it over and over last season.  How many times did we hear “my marriage of 16 years” and “how could you talk about my marriage of 16 years” last season.  Before viewers knew it she was completely over it and had a new love, Ross Geller has changed Luann from a raving bitch into a ….wait a minute, she hasn’t changed.

Jill contradicted herself quite a bit tonight. She told me to butt out constantly, yet you see her screaming at Ramona on LuAnn’s behalf. Apparently butting in is only OK if the brunettes do it, and they have their own special set of rules for me. Same with men and women disagreeing. Jill was quick to judge Simon yet his voice was no louder than mine at the MENY march. By the special brunette rules men and women aren’t supposed to talk unless they are married. Aren’t we in the 21st century? Wait, only 25 percent of the other couch is married. Maybe that’s why. Finally, I learned from Jill tonight that name-calling is OK if it’s at the beginning of the season. Do you understand that logic? I don’t.

A lot of us noticed the double standard and noticed that all four of the left couch at one point or another told Alex to “shut up:, “be quiet” or “butt out”.  It was almost as if they discussed it in advance.  Yet all four of the same bitches jumped into conversations that had nothing to do with them.  This was another attempt to nullify Alex and anything she says.  Alex is too polite and too kind to ever do that to anyone else.

I hate to say I told ya so, but I told ya that Alex was upset about being assigned to the end seat on the couch.  Cohen’s explaination was that he knew Sonja was going to cry and wanted her surrounded and that the Ramona/Sonja storyline is hot so they have to sit together.  Whatever Andy’s reason the fact is Alex has been on the show since day one and has been on the end of the couch every season.

I really don’t understand how Luann went from the end of the couch last season to the prime spot next to Andy Cohen this season, maybe she had it written into her contract or maybe she begged, in any case, I am glad that Zarin was de-throned from that prime spot that she’s held from the beginning.

Ramona had this to say in her blog:

You could tell by my answers and body language that this was the last place I wanted to be. When someone lies or insults you with condescending digs and malicious intent, how are you supposed to react? I guess I could turn the cheek, which I did at times, by not wanting to even discuss it. But, at other times, my mouth would get the best of me, and I do apologize for that. I can’t take back what I said.   One thing is, I never lie, and I own up to my mistakes.

Ranona’s blog is short but insightful, she doesn’t mention any names but she doesn’t have to, I think we all know who Ramona is talking about.

If Andy had seen his Watch What Happens Live poll results before choosing his New York Housewives seating, he may have put Sonja in the prime seat next to him, she was voted the post popular housewife by a landslide.  (as Cohen would say)

I cringe when I see that argument between Alex and I. It really is a testament to our friendship that we got through it. LuAnn is right. Alex and I weren’t close before, but we got closer after the fact realizing our future together is more important.

Kelly gets upset when Alex is nervous? Why? Because it makes her uncomfortable? The question was why is she belittling Alex’s feelings and calling her weird. That’s not nice.

I have to give Sonja credit for her opening remark, even after Luann sided with her against both Cindy and Kelly, Sonja stuck with Alex!

The best comment from Kelly is when she says she has no idea, and it’s not her business when she is referring to her comments about my house not being mine, or clean or organized. She can say that again. What would make Kelly make mean-spirited comments about me? I have been nothing but kind and respectful of her — protective in fact. I broke the ice between her and Ramona before we went away because I wanted her to be comfortable after our last trip. She said she gets uneasy around powerful assertive women, but this I deserve?

NO!  Sonja doesn’t deserve this!  I think Kelly got the memo that she’s brunette and she’s supposed to be mean to all blondes so she attacked Sonja without any real reason.  Sonja really had been good to Kelly, without Sonja in St. John, Kelly may have been taken away in a straight jacket!

I never put Cindy down. I asked her to not put Ramona down. Ramona introduced her to us, and then she’s not tolerant of the Ramonacoaster! There is a pecking order. Take care of those who take care of you. Cindy is always twisting the story, and she is always insulting me, while I do not insult her. She has been very aggressive even after I broke the ice between her and Ramona so she would be invited to Ramona’s party that actually turned out to be a surprise birthday party for me!

Barshop!  Another idiot who was told by Jill and Lulu that the blondes were fair game for any insults and attacks!  Interesting that Jill still kisses Sonja’s butt and Luann sticks up for her but Sonja made no mention of Jill and went against Lulu in her blog.  Sonja is the real voice of reason, her indifference when it comes to Jill probably gets to Jill more than if Sonja had slammed her.  Sonja’s a smart woman.

More on the New York Housewives and their blogs, tweets and comments tomorrow.

In the meantime, you don’t want to miss Rob Schuter from AOL’s Popeater, he wrote an article about the “Hate” for and between the New York Housewives, do you think he’s talking about us?

FLIPPING OUT by BB

The show opens at West Knoll (Jeff’s house) where Jenni, Jeff, Trace, Gage and Zoila are sitting at the table eating cookies. (They look yum, I want one). They are discussing Zoila’s surgery tomorrow. The surgery includes a neck lift, full face lift, and upper and lower eye lifts. Jeff tells Zoila they will all be watching her and she will be naked. He asks Zoila when was the last time she shaved her legs and she says about two months ago. Zoila tells Jeff she only has about two or three hairs on each leg. Zoila says she is going to tell the doctor not to let Jeffrey watch. Jeff asks if they are going to have to shave her head. Jenni says the reason Jeff is joking about Zoila’s surgery is because he is very concerned about the 6 hour surgery. Jenni says they can’t lose Zoila because she is the glue that holds everything together. Zoila says when they joke about her surgery, it makes her stomach go crazy and she needs a cookie.

Jeff takes Chaz furniture shopping for the Cole property which has to be finished in the next few weeks. It’s time to make decisions. They have to get functional furniture for a high traffic salon. Jeff says Chaz is decisive after you show him every single chair on the market today. Chaz is very busy so Jeff has to get him alone to make decisions.

Back at West Knoll, Jeff wants to discuss the speaking engagement in Las Vegas at the Las Vegas Design Center, so he asks Gage to come into the Living Room, which is also Jeff’s office. Gage seems to be the only one who has a private office. Jeff tells Gage he wants to make it a family trip to include a bachelorette party for Sarah and maybe some of the expenses can be covered by the design people. Gage doesn’t like the idea because Jeff has been playing around with the idea of letting Sarah go. Gage thinks Jeff always seems to cross boundaries and invite more people than he should to events. Jeff doesn’t want any events to be boring. Gage wants to fly in, fly out, get the money and it’s done. Now is a big party. Jeff tells Gage to look into going to the Thunder Down Under show; that Sarah would really enjoy that show and some of the others, too (camera pans to Trace). Jeff says if Gage could, he would cancel the bachelorette party. He thinks Gage would work 7 days a week and never go out. He is really focused that way. Jeff asks Sarah if she ever had an engagement party and she says no, but then Jeff reminds her she did have an engagement party at her sister’s. She giggles and says she was getting that confused with a bachelorette party. She is such a ditz. Jeff tells Gage he wants to take a party bus to Vegas and Gage just sighs deeply.

It’s time for Zoila’s surgery. Jenni, Jeff, and Sarah will be there for Zoila’s surgery. Jeff has arranged for Zoila to stay at a recovery center afterwards. He says it sounds like he’s being very generous, but it’s really because he doesn’t want to have to change her bedpan and give her sponge baths. That’s where he draws the line. On the way there, Jeff is making jokes and they are both nervous. After Zoila is prepped and goes into surgery, they are able to watch the surgery through a window. Jeff said it was weird seeing Zoila so vunerable. The surgery is supposed to take over five hours. After two hours, Jeff leaves Sarah there and he and Jenni go to check on some properties. They go to Cole to check on things. Jeff says he goes there every day, not because he needs to, but because he wants Chaz to see him there. When Jeff and Jenni get back they are bringing Zoila out of surgery and having difficulty waking her up. Jenny is scared and Jeff looks really upset. They finally get Zoila to wake up and when she tells Jeff to shut up, they know she’s going to be OK. Afterwards she goes to a recovery center, which is a nice suite with a nurse there around the clock. Jeff loves Zoila and takes good care of her.

There is a large group going to Vegas. Jeff, Gage, Jenni, Sarah, Trace, Jett, two of Sarah’s friends, Chaz and his sister. They all get together for cocktails. Sarah is wearing a yellow jersey dress with no bra and Jeff says “holy nipples.” He tells her she shouldn’t have bothered to wear a shirt. Gage is already getting nervous about how the night is going to be. They go to dinner and get drunker and drunker. They all take a party bus to a Gentleman’s club. While on the bus, all the women dance around the stripper pole. Jenni’s dance is pretty awkward. Jeff said all the ladies were kinda sexy except Jenni. Jenni says she’s not gonna turn it out for Jeff, her boss, because that’s kinda creepy. I agree with Jenni. They arrive at the Sapphire Gentlemen’s Club. Wait, Wait, aren’t they supposed to be going to Thunder Down Under, which is a male dancing revue? What kind of a bachelorette party is this? I don’t get it. Gage was definitely not comfortable going to a strip club and tells the group he does not want to be touched. They go to a VIP room and the girls come in. Gage looks disgusted, Chaz looks jazzed and Jenni looks kind of shocked. Jeff thinks Sarah should reconsider her marriage because she seems more comfortable with female strippers than male. The girls are all over Trace and he seems terrified. Jeff thinks Trace is definitely gay. He thinks Chaz may be straight. Jenni, Gage and Jeff leave early because he has a speaking engagement at 11 a.m. the next day. He is testing the others because he told them coming to the speaking engagement was not mandatory, but he wants to see who is taking the business seriously. Gage says the speaking engagements are huge because you never know who is going to be there and what they might want to work on with Jeff. It’s all about networking. Jeff expects at least some of his staff to come to show him that they want to be in the business. Meantime Sarah, Trace and the others are at the pool, still drinking and partying . I could never keep up with the partiers. Two drinks and I’m out like a light. Trace says he was told he wasn’t obligated to go to the speaking engagement, so he decided not to. Wrong decision, Trace. At the speaking engagement, the moderator asks Jeff what is his biggest gripe about his staff. Jeff says with his staff being so small, sometimes they get into each other’s personal business and the boundaries get skewed. Sometimes he gets taken advantage of because of that. In the talking head, he said he was hoping that Sarah, Trace and Jett would have shown up for the speaking engagement, but he kinda knew they wouldn’t, which showed him their commitment, or lack thereof, to his business. Jeff sees Jenni and Gage sitting in the audience and says they are the people who are going to help him build his business. He knew at that point that none of those on his staff who didn’t show up were going to last there, not one. Woah!

Thanks BB! Great job as always!  xo

  1. Great recap. The naughtynice article was a little one sided don’t ya think. Urgh. But I do agree that Jill holds such a grudge she won’t be able to film with any of the blondes next year – so Bravo go ahead and do us a favor and drop her.

  2. Dubyaveeyou says:

Jeff Lewis always seems to be looking for “an honest man” with all these mind- bending tricks. He would be better off just to cut to the chase and tell his employees exactly what he needs and wants. If then he doesn’t get what he requires, it is a fairly simple decision of consequences. Other than Jenni, none of his other employees seem to be able to do a mind-meld with him. A lot less drama and angst to just say what he requires.

    • OneMoreInBoston says:

ITA- sets his staff up to fail. And when they do- acts like they have betrayed him.
      BUT
Why is his staff so stupid? Do they not watch the show? If your boss says I ‘m leaving because I have to speak tomorrow- I would have been right there on the bus with a stripper pole with him and dragged my ass out to the talk the next day- instead they were laying by the pool getting drunk- so dumb.

      • Error404 says:

Jeff is a master of creating chaos that only he can then solve.
At this point, the staff is all in on it. Why sit by the pool? Because thats what it says to do in the script the producers wrote.

        • OneMoreInBoston says:

yes- you’re probably-no scratch that- you *are* right.
          sigh
sucked into Bravo’s vortex of Hell once again.

        • I dont see it that way
I think he says well you dont have to come but what he really means is ,if you come it will make you look better in my eyes and considering the jobs they are doing they should be smart enough to realize that coming will be better for that type of work
just as he said last night one by one they will be gone
Notice Jenny was smart enough to be there

        • LOL Probably true. I can’t stand the puffy lips look.

I love Zoila. If she was an animal I think she’d be a manatee. I love manatees an their gentle nature.

  3. Error404 says:

So… Do they even still design on flipping out, or does bravo just pay them to pick up poop and go under the knife?

  4. Causing_A_Casino says:

Does anyone ever recall Luann apologizing or saying she regretted anything duirng any of the reunions? It occurred to me that I reall all the others, at some point over the years, apologizing of having regrets. Not once can I remember Luann doing it. She really needs to be called out on that and bitchslapped in her salon’.

    • Dwight Schrute says:

The only time I can think of is when she got called on the carpet by Bethenny for not even shaking the offered hand of B’s driver when she was introduced to him. Didn’t remember doing it but said it was wrong.

But you’re right, this is a woman who, in her mind, is NEVER wrong. Lynn expressed dismay at Luann’s reaction to people calling her out on her behavior. I truly think she doesn’t get it, that her perception of herself is FAR from what it is in reality. There are people like that. I’ve worked with some of them.

    • HaterReb says:

The drag queen I mean LuAnn needs to be dropped by Bravo too.mean old bitch.along with Krazy Kelly, weird ass newbie needstogetlaid Cindy & the grand queen of me Jilly Zarin.

      • HaterReb says:

sorry that was meant to read grand queen of mean Jilly Zarin with her ethel mertz sounding voice.Has anyone ever noticed that Jill sounds like ethel mertz from I love Lucy?LOL

  5. boston02127 says:

Bethenny should keep walking the neighborhood and pushing the baby carriage with the hopes of running into Jill. But instead of Bryn in the carriage she should put in a fisher cat.

  6. NightLight95 says:

Did Ramona say Jill is a recovering alcoholic? I think everyone should support Jill ;)

  7. AZ Girl says:

I have noticed that Twitter has changed its format. I am not on Twitter but if I google JIll Zarin Twitter it pulls up her latest tweets and before I could follow the thread of the tweet. Now you just get a listing of her tweets. Is this something new? Because I am not on Twitter do they have me filtered to what I can find?
I picked up so much stuff following the threads of her tweets. Now its more difficult to make sense of them…..then again this is Jill I am talking about.

    • boston02127 says:

AZ Girl–Go to the top of your twitter page and look where it says “go back to the old twitter” and click on that. I think it’s at the very top on the right side.

    • Error404 says:

I basically never go on twitter, and have auto posts set up. Then Monday, at imib’s suggestion, I tweeted Ramona my silly knock knock joke. My first real tweet ever! Well, while I was on I noticed that just that morning Jill and all of her aliases incldsing the gingerettes had started following me. The morning of the reunion! LoL since I don’t auto follow everyone who follows me, I just ignored it. But throughout the day all of jill’s accounts kept begging me to follow, join stuff, retweet stuff, get the word out, etc… They were in overdrive. LoL

  8. RealMinkey says:

    Good morning!

    I HATE JILL ZARIN.

  9. RealMinkey says:

Congrats for going over the 1000 mark last night, Lynn and everyone! Good going!

  10. I agree that they should replace the entire NY cast. I don’t really feel the need to know anything more about these women, and another season of them throwing parties and bickering with each other isn’t going to be worth watching. The problem is that Jill is so polarizing, she’s not going to let any of the others ever make up – so it’s going to be same old same old.

If we’re to believe Rob (naughtynice) – Jill can’t forgive the blondes or Beth because they all support THIS blog and/or Lynn (Sonja did a radio interview) – of I guess it’s the fault of THIS BLOG that the show has become unwatchable LOL.

  11. Re flipping out. Jett was mentioned in the recap. Is he still on the show?

    • Rose Colored Glasses says:

He was invited to Las Vegas to attend Sarah’s bachelorette party. Special occasion, otherwise I don’t think he is on staff now.

      • Baroness Beachcomber (BB) says:

I believe he’s been shown at the house a couple of times, but since the house Jeff is renting is much smaller than the one he sold, I don’t there is much for Jett to do. He really has not been a presence this season.

  12. RealMinkey says:

    I would really miss Ramona.

  13. WindyCityWondering says:

RHNY deserve to get called out for how they acted at the reunion taping!
I am going to blame Bethenny because she wasn’t there (sorry B). If she had been there Jill would have behaved and the turdy girls would have been put in check because all the casino of S4 is because Jill misses Bethenny.

    • I agree – it’s all Bethenny’s fault LOL. Jill misses Bethenny like she’d miss her girdle. B managed to make Jill look almost human S1 and 2 until we saw the toxicity escape season 3 – just like her girdle makes her look almost shapely until you see the rolls of fat escaping out the ends.

So it’s all B’s fault for ditching her so that she could work on building a relationship with Jason and her brand. How selfish of her – she should have been going to fashion shows and senseless parties and being Jill’s on screen friend.

  14. cdnfillie58 says:

    Love the blog Lynn…thanks
Just a thought as to why LuLu got the 1st spot of the couch and not Jillzy…wonder if JZ gave it up cause she considers it the hot spot and didn’t want the same negative attention she got last year and seeing as she wanted people to think she’s changed!!!!!!!!!!. I think she refused that spot and Andy had no choice but to put LuLu there

    • Dwight Schrute says:

I think so, too. I think it was part of her plan to sit back and let others do the attacking for her. Early in the evening she wasn’t speaking as much. I think it was a conscious decision on her part. Later on, she just couldn’t help herself and jumped in a lot more, spinning this story of how “scared” she was of Bethenny.

      • Rose Colored Glasses says:

Plus it got her off camera when Andy asked questions so she could whisper and prompt which apparently she did a lot of. Pull strings much JZ? She is so able to stir things up and so unskilled at leaving her fingerprints off the merde that it flies back in her face when it hits the fan! How’s that for a messy mixed metaphor with a little French to keep it up to the Countess’s standards! Merde c’est la show.

    • Error404 says:

I disagree. S4 was lulu’s season. She hosted the trip and she got the season ending party and she was the last hw listed in their updates at the end of the finale.
S2 was Jill and freely joints. S3 was Ramona tru renewal. S4 was lulu’s turn at bat. That’s why bravo put her at the head of the couch.

      • RealMinkey says:

        ITA.

      • cdnfillie58 says:

Well, I don’t see this as LuLu’s season. Don’t forget they postponed the season for whatever reason and looks to me like they added scenes way after they originally stopped filming to make it more interesting…to me this was more Ramona’s season as well and not LuLu’s.
That trip was supposed to be hosted by Lulu and Sonya at least according to Sonya, and Lulu took control and made it all about herself.
I still think Jill didn’t want to be in the hot seat and wanted to send out the message that she still has her two wing “men” with her. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it :P

        • Error404 says:

All that matters is who bravo/shed think the season belongs to and I’m saying all fingers point to lulu.
It wasn’t just lulu who snubbed Sonja. Shed/bravo completely ignored all of sonja’s hosting duties and edited the show to clearly make it look like lulu hosted and Sonja was just a misbehaving invited guest. Seriously, if Sonja is telling the truth, they edited all evidence of her contributing to that trip out, and even twisted it to make her look like an ungrateful guest.
Part of the reason why it was was bad, was becaus eof bad editing/production, and twisting things around so it seemed like lulu was relevant came off as obvious and fake. But it’s all there, and the sofa seating is just another obvious way they are pushing her Into the light.

      • Sorry Error i think this was Ramonas Season
Lulu just came across as a 2nd rate Shrill

        • Error404 says:

Please, they Edited her to look like a heavy drinker just because they are pissed she was pushing her Pinot so heavily and they don’t get a cut.

        • FLG says:

and a 3rd rate actress on L&O SVU. I wish she’d been dressed in a body bag rather than a sheet. She could have painted her name on the bottom of her shoes like Lucille Ball did in that episode of I Love Lucy….. 8)

  15. vilzvet says:

Here is an interesting paragraph from an article on Sonja’s financial troubles from something called sipwithsocialites.com:
“The bankrupt reality vixen, who is locked in a bitter court battle with her 80-year-old ex-husband, John Adams Morgan, owes Sonja a $3 million lump-sum divorce judgment and over $300,000 in alimony, may be forced to sell off her gorgeous $6 million New York City townhouse in order to gain some cash. He is fighting against handing over any more money to his ex because he claims he was forced to pay more than was listed in his prenup.
“Sonja is devastated, she’s considering the house gone already,” says our source. “She wants to sell it back to her ex husband, so she can make that money off it and her daughter can live there, but he’s refusing. She wants to keep it for her daughter, but it seems she’ll have to sell it and lose it altogether. She needs the money because he’s not giving her a cent more and she’s now more than $7 million in the hole. She’s in denial, it’s only just started to hit her how much trouble she’s in. She makes $275,000 a year on Housewives, which would be good for anyone else but it won’t save her.”

    • Error404 says:

Sounds like they are trying to shame him into giving up the cash. I read elsewhere that the court ordered him to pay more than the pre-nup and he may have even lost his appeal, but he’s holding out.

Even if he gave her 3 million would that make a difference since she owes so much? Sonja should have known better than to mess with old money. Those people don’t keep money in the family that long because they just pay it out. She may rightfully be owed but obviously he is gonna keep fighting her and he has the money to do it.

      • Dubyaveeyou says:

Does anyone have any verifiable information on the Bravo salaries for each of the housewives? I’ve read Teresa Giudice’s legal documents and (according to those) she makes $3333.33 per MONTH. Granted, that was nearly 2 years ago, but the difference in payout appears enormous if Sonja is getting $275,000 per year (or $22,916.6667) per month. Someone please help a chick to understand because so much of the drama in these shows revolves around wealth or lack of it ;-(

        • Amy Matheson says:

I am not checking my math here on the fly but at that time, I think first seasoners shot fewer shows and made only about 10K per episode. Fewer episodes at that rate or similar over a 12 month period may equal whatever Teresa claimed on her documents. I dont know how many episodes this season’s NYC was – 14 maybe, not including reunions? That’s just under $20K per episode for a returning housewife. Makes sense. I am sure Teresa is at least on par with that scale by now.

    • wasnt she saying she was devastated over the loss of her marriage and that she has nothing bad to say about her husband and that other things were what came between them
i tend to believe her over any article printed

      • Amy Matheson says:

I think she loved him too. He probably strayed (well, she said there was another woman) but I am sure she agrees she had culpability too. I am sure if she could’ve remained with him instead of seeing another woman inherit her lifestyle, then she would.

Whatever when down between them must’ve been ugly because you know that $3 million means absolutely nothing to her ex. The purpose is to hurt her, and he is.

Remember on the boat with Bethenny, they were discussing one night stands and she said something about thinking of women when having sex? I thought this was odd at the time but since no one else brought it up I figured maybe I heard wrong.

  16. Error404 says:

I think bravo is always looking for new cast. I consider Sonja “bethenny’s replacement” because she came in mid season right when b was pregnant and father died and she possibly needed to take time off. Sonja is the only one that is even close to b’s popularity with viewers.
I think when b smacked down wedding Jen as ” who is she, the caterer?” she was making fun of ramona’s wedding Jen who was trying to get on the show, as well as Jill ‘s caterer Jen who she was trying to get on the show. It’s always been Jill vs r with their two teams since s1.
I think Cindy was the spare they must carry at all times because one never knows when Kiki will relapse, have another “mental breakthrough” and have to go back inside for another “rest”.
Ramona may have scored Sonja, the big prize, but Jill has already stolen lulu, Kiki and Cindy off her. All 3 started out more friendly with r, and then moved to team Jill later.
Jill may be a loser at many things, but where she really excels is at recruitment. Her ability to recruit groopies astounds me. Even famous people do her bidding.

    • LuLu was more of Jill’s friend from the beginning. Remember S1 when LuLu got invited to Ramona’s lunch and Jill didn’t – which started that season’s Jill – Ramona feud. What shocks me is how loyal they are all to Jill – like little lap dogs. I suppose they don’t want her to spill their secrets so they stay close.

      • Error404 says:

I don’t agree. I think s1 lulu was up for grabs and the whole reason r invited her to dinner and Jill got so mad is because they were fighting for her loyalty. Lulu, always the snake, played them both off each other for two whole years before finally signing on with Jill.
Lulu actively persued bethenny for s1 and s2 and was genuinely devastated by the rejection.

      ITA Error

    • She must have good private detectives digging up dirt. That or these women let their guard down too soon and confide private things to her….Things she can hold over their heads. I really can’t see any of them wanting to be her friend long term. I do think Jill knows how to PLAY nice at first to get people to trust her and let their guard down. Then once they figure her out or they piss her off, she gets nasty or threatening. We saw it on how she treated Bethenny and Alex. I think Lulu must have a lot of skeletons in the closet for her to remain glued to Jill’s side. I think Ramona has only barely scratched the surface with Lulu’s marriage, cheating and problems invovling the children. Lulu is too afraid of having her pretentious facade REALLY exposed so she puts up with Jill’s shit so Jill will shield her.

      • AZ Girl says:

I do agree with Jill having dirt on the others. Jill really plays dirty behind the scenes. She earns their trust and they allow Jill to get close. We have seen Jill use damning information (SImon) and leak it to the press. It is time for Jill to disappear and take Lulu and Kelly with her.

        • JenFromCincy says:

I think that if there was any truth to Jill’s comment about being afraid of Bethenny, it’s because Bethenny didn’t have secrets Jill could exploit, but Bethenny had them about her. Jill’s mistake is in assuming that Bethenny is nasty and manipulative like she is and would use the info, hence the reason she’s scared.

          • Rose Colored Glasses says:

I believe that the Bethenny remark is another one of Jilll’s trial balloons sent out to see if it floats, and which way the wind blows. Clearly meant to color people’s perceptions of Bethenny just as B is heading into new ventures like talk show. Jill is a master manipulator but she does not appreciate that her handiwork is not discrete enough and that she is brutally exposed in this format with the cameras recording the back stabbing. Just my opinion, your ship and balloon are sinking JZ.

        • I think Jill has something on Kelly or has figured out how to manipulate and control her.
Kelly has always had a weird obssesion and hatered for Bethenny. She wants to be Bethenny but hates her at the same time. I believe that now Jill is no longer friends with “B” Kelly has now taken “B”s spot in Jill’s life. Jill fosters that belief.
Jill must know all of Kelly’s dirty secrets including the truth about St. John’s. Jill has now acted as a shield for Kelly and has helped Kelly try to rewrite and spin that story. Most of us are smart enough to not buy it but there are a lot who do.
Kelly has to have a past. Some catalyst for her craziness. Either drugs, alcohol, abuse or a combination of them. Jill probably knows. There is more to Kelly’s custody arrangement with Giles as well. Kelly obviously has a very good team of handlers and laywers provided by Giles or her family that has covered up or swept away anything that would destroy or damage Kelly. Jill has probably discovered the dirt.
Jill and Kelly’s relationship is mutually benefical. Jill needs an ally. Someone she can easily control and get to do Jill’s dirty workKelly is the easiest to manipulate.. Kelly needs Jill to shield her and keep her from looking totally crazy. Jill helps deflect and spin Kelly’s behavior almost as well as Jill does her own. To me, they seem co-dependent upon one another. It is the most creepy of all the women’s relationships.

          • Error404 says:

Jill is always oddly distant from new comers, especially famous new comers. I think Jill was intimidated by Kiki. I think this was one time bethenny played lap dog for Jill and attacked Kiki for Jill. Kiki was confused, because she is so above bethenny who she considered a no body. To this day Kiki is amazed that such a nothing is so famous. She credits bravo and luck for all of bethenny’s success. She really thinks it’s a fluke. Something must have happened between “up here, down there” and “allys bedroom”… Maybe Gilles peeps laid into jill’s peep heavily? But jill’s as very clear in her instructions to bethenny.. Change of plan, we have to make nice nice with the bitch.
It wasn’t until b got her own show and Jill went apeshit that Jill decided she liked Kelly. Jill wanted to destroy b’s fame, and why wouldn’t Kiki jump at the chance to help that happened?

      • WindyCityWondering says:

Jill may have dirt on LuAnn but she knows that Ramona has dirt on her (as does Bethenny). Jill wanted LuAnn because of her title value. LuAnn is never shown with outside “friends” because she didn’t get them in the divorce or they are all the pretend kind.

Kim Kardashian did it when she went on a date with Nick Lachey, and went on to release a sex tape which catapulted her (rightly or wrongly ) into the limelight.

    • Jill is a bit like Caroline Manzo in terms of her absolute manner of speaking and self righteousness. She ACTS like a leader, and stupid people follow. Ramona doesn’t have groupie friendships because I don’t think she cares. She’s not interested in having people on her side because if there is one thing she isn’t lacking, it’s self confidence. Ramona can stand on her own. Jill cannot. This is one of the major reasons why Ramona will always win by default. When Jill cries into her diet coke at night, Ramona is laughing it up with her girlfriends.

Personally my vote for nicest housewife this season is Ramona instead of Sonja. Several times this season you could see how down Sonja was and I found it touching to see Ramona and Mario try to build back up her confidence.

As to Jill being in touch with Bethenny? Probably a phone message or an email. Doesn’t mean that Bethenny has touched her back. It’s funny. I believe Jill commented to someone (was it you, Lynn) wondering how people on the blog would feel seeing her getting along better with Simon and Alex this season. No need to speculate because IT DIDN”T HAPPEN! The brunettes were obviously shutting down Alex because, as her blog proves, she is too smart for them. Keep her upset, keep her red, keep her flustered and you’re able to keep her somewhat off point.

One question for Lynn and the others because I must have missed it. How do we know Alex was upset at being at the end of the couch? I didn’t catch that.

One funny link to share, going back in the time machine. It’s an article from the first season and is very telling. Classy NoCount LuAnn became the 4th wife of the Count after dating him 3 weeks so apparently he likes getting engaged pretty fast since he was already engaged when he told Countless the marriage was over. Also, the des Lesseps family was never bestowed with the nobility title, one of them apparently just gave it to himself. Finally there’s a snarky comment that LuAnn apparently refers to Bethenny being from NJ (which is wrong and she knew it) just so she can make the comment that she’d never been to NJ herself. That’s laughable as while the Statue of Liberty on Liberty Island in New York Harbor may be part of New York state, the surrounding waters are New Jersey so if you take the boat there you go through Jersey.

Alex was right when she said in the episode her inlaws were over from Australia; you dont have any class if you feel the need to mention the word class like all the time. LuAnn now I see you in another light other than drag queen , UR a drag queen SLUT . Jill Zarin I havent forgotten you my sweet, I still hate you.

  21. California35 says:

Lulu is very settled with her insults, and she acts like “what I said” attitude. Tthen she is so clear whit her “i have never been anything but nice, bla bla bla”. When the others insult her, they do it to their face, very clear with no sugar coding or “darling” fakeness.

    Ok I got to go….

    • Rose Colored Glasses says:

Also she is adept at the “it is not what you say but how you say it” put down ( totally passive aggressive). So that the words when repeated back by those who confront her, are rarely repeated with that special nasty venom that she has a special ability to spew. Alex described it exactly as it is: haughty, condescending and vile. Only problem, as always, even when Alex knows the words, her delivery and facial expressions undermine her as the messenger. Luanne thinks that it is working for her and does not realize that it only sever to emphasize her childhood insecurities and ridiculous need for superiority.

The Reunion was the only episode I made it all the way through and it just confirmed that I was glad I didn’t waste my time sitting through the rest of the season. lol re:tv crack, so true. I hate Jill but honestly I think I could do with one more season of the NYC housewives then call it quits. Unless they get rid of Dragqueen Lulu,Krazy Kelly,Cindy AND the queen of mean Jill.

    • NYCer says:

That’s the thing–the first season it was interesting to see how these women were living, but now with NYC it is such a business for all of them, none of it is how they are living–it is all product placement and freebies. I would guess that most of what they are all wearing is borrowed or given away for airtime. Everything about Alex seemed disingenous to me this season–from Simon pushing her to remember her “talking points” about marriage equality, to the lingerie that was definitely comped, to the piano player, to the backyard makeover. I get that you lost your job and Simon left his, but trying to squeeze every bit of money out of your 15 minutes is sooo unappealing. I mean in the first season, you could say something funny in your interviews…this season you say something funny, put it on a tshirt and start hawking the shirts online and in every freaking blog, and then put the phrase in a single your husband releases (meanwhile, he had to be one of the worst performers ever on WWHL- shaking like a leaf), I’m calling Alex out but they all do it. Sonja was right when she said Cindy wanted to have a phone call during the brunch to publicize her business. Otherwise, any normal person reschedules either brunch or the phone call. I mean, she said it was for all areas of the country. If it was 11 am on the east coast, do you really expect us to believe anyone was on the west coast?

      • Ever single housewife is guilty of trying to market their crap or brand themselves. Love Bethenny but she was the one who started this trend. She saw the opportunity and grapped it by the balls. Since she was first, it did help her become the most sucessful at it. It hadn’t become over-saturated and cliche’ yet. Plus, Bethenny has a very good brand and products. Ramona hasn’t done too badly for herself but yeah, it’s gotten old. I don’t blame them for trying it after seeing Bethenny’s sucess but it has become to be too much. I don’t think it would matter if the cast where old or new, they would all try to get everything they can out of it while it last.

      • Error404 says:

I think being picked on by the others is the best thing that ever happened to Alex. It makes her the underdog and their ott bullying make her seem “normal” and nice compared to their shrewishness. All of their alone scenes w/out the other HWs ( the piano lesson, the lengerie modeling, etc…) are kinda cringworthy though.

        • Rose Colored Glasses says:

Imagine the cringe if the show is just Silex? Torture? But I think seeing them without current brunettes would be better. The whole arty facade not working for me as they are more awkward than cool. And fashion nots. Wordsmiths lame. But fundamentally decent. And that is why Jill is trying to disparage them with the mean tweeting imbroglio. Because she is attributing to them what she is herself guilty of. Classic high school mean girls mis-direction. Also used by magicians to distract from their trickery. Sorry, Jill, your tricks are transparent to all but the lame and needy.

          • mich_in_mich says:

ITA with you and Error. Sometimes I wonder if I like Silex or I’m just rooting for them because of the blantant mistreatment they receive by the brunettes. Not sure if I like her but she took such a beating (some was self inflicted, but it’s still hard to watch) that I find myself rooting for her as well.

I will never forget that episode and Jill claiming it was not fat camp. I am convinced that she did this because of weight. Also, I am convinced that Jill would love for her daughter to have a shape like Luann’s daughter or Avery because I think in that society as goes most of the world people just equate skinny with being more attractive. (I don’t find anything wrong with Ally or her weight) I just think it always bothered Jill.

      • Dame Rhetorica says:

          • Pghemtchick says:

Oh it’s definately a weightloss detox “retreat”. The website is: http://mvdietdetox.com/ If you flip over to media it has the clip from RHoNY. The bravo price for one day of detox for Ally was “avg cost of one day $700″, while the website states $495.00 per night that includes: “a private room, one intensive therapy per day, all juices, soups and supplements, one consultation with naturopathic doctor, and a customized home maintenance program.” I’ve been searching the site, and so far have found nothing in regards to arthritis. The main points that keep showing up are lose 21lbs in 21 days. Thus, IMO making it a weightloss retreat or as Ally so put it “fat camp”. Jill needs to accept Ally for who she is, but she can’t because Jill can’t accept Jill for who she is.

More and more studies are coming out that these types of fasts are not even healthy for adults!

I agree with the poster who said Jill has always had a problem with Ally’s build, maybe that is one of the reasons why she “regrets” never having a child with Bobby, she wanted a more “fit” child (that and she would have a meal ticket for at least 18 years after bobby drops jill on her ass). I really don’t like Jill.

        • HaterReb says:

pls stop RealMinkey. The brunettes have such ugly souls am sorry I cant see any outter beauty in any of them.

      • JenFromCincy says:

That’s what I love about language. I’ve used that trick when I didn’t want to lie, but didn’t want to hurt someone. Incomparable and unbelievable are also helpful when looking for decriptors that sound positive, but allow you to mean what you’re saying. ;)

  27. Amy Matheson says:

I still think it is amazing that Bethenny (whom Jill fed and clothed and mentored – lol) is worth 4x more than Bobby.

Of course Jill is fuming that Bethenny doesn’t feel she owes Jill her soul. Silly Bethenny. Hand over your soul already.

    • Cusi77 says:

Amy_ You are sooooo right! One invite to The Hamptons and JZ thought that she gave Bethenny a place to live and put food in her mouth- Haaa!

      • NYCer says:

Why is it that Jill can spend 3 seasons talking about everyone she got on the show (like Bethenny) and what they owe her as a result, and Sonja can’t even remind Cindy once that Ramona got Cindy on the show and Cindy should remember that and be nice to her?
I think Cindy is just a true liar.

        • WindyCityWondering says:

ITA that Cindy is a liar (not a very good one) but she also sees this show/cast very differently that the rest of the women. Come on seriously, if I was getting called out on my manners or lack there of and someone threw the Churchills into the convo – I would laugh too!

          • NYCer says:

Sonja is peculiar with those references- to me it comes off as insecurity. The reason Sonja is so much more likeable than Cindy is that Cindy only laughed AT people during the season. She is a neurotic sourpuss. Sonja laughed frequently, but usually at herself.

            • Amy Matheson says:

It’s called namedropping and the use of it looks tacky on everyone – even people I really like – such as, Sonja.

              • Rose Colored Glasses says:

Like you Sonja, but the Churchill and royalty name dropping screams insecure. No matter who you know…you are who you are. No need to name drop. Distinguish yourself from LuAnne, other people’s titles aren’t persuasive to anyone but a nincompoop.

                • I’m going to disagree to a point. I spent the first half of my life living pretty affluently. I got to travel, meet interesting people and friends, experience one of a kind events ect. Now that I divorced and not economicaly in a position to experience as much does that mean I can no longer talk about my experiences and friendships? Those things helped shape the person I am today. I enjoy sharing and reliving those adventures. It doesn’t make me haughty for talking about my former lifestyle. It gives me more prespective. I just don’t see Sonja comming across the way some of you do.

              • WindyCityWondering says:

                Exactly so very tacky!

          • Error404 says:

It hit home and cindy stormed out in a blind rage afterward.
Cindy has an inflated ego and is pissed that no one cares who she is. She thinks she should be put on a pedestal for being a self made millionaire from nothing roots, but the others are not impressed.
The Churchill dig was meant to remind Cindy that she is common and lacks manors, and having 100 salons won’t ever make you “society” as long as you continue to act ghetto in your social situations.
As my good friend princess Lara says: money can’t buy you class. Elegance’s learned my friend.
Cindy was furious at the smack down.

“Before joining Popeater as its only columnist Rob Shuter was executive editor of OK! Magazine”

Rob came from paper mags and being an exec at OK Rag who would sell their soul to sell a mag speaks volumes. But sure Rob keep complaining about a tongue and cheek self made “hate” blog. Should we look at the history of the OK Rag Mag and the people they have ruined?

    Some obeservations about JZ
She wears a hidden “mic” when meeting with her friends…Thus the reason she doesn’t have her “transcribed” notes for reference…too many to memorize…she needs advance notice so she can go the alphabetical section and retrieve said notes….

I ” heard ” that BWWABBIES put the tarot card reader from MOE ROCCO on an a LOO me numb can in the sky and SHE’S the one who told JZ about the contact w/ B…..she also told JZ she’s not sure what the future will hold for them…….
JZ was ssoooo estastic that BWWABBIES then made arrangements for a MAJIC CARPET RIDE to show the TCR the sites of NEWT YERK CEETY….

JZ makes it so easy to have SO MUCH material for stand up comics….Granny always said God sends us special people for a reason….never understood what she meant by that…..I am sure she didn’t mean it the way I am understanding it to mean, but she’s not around me to smack me with the wooden spoon anymore…LUV YA GRANNY….

Hi Everyone, I am new. What an infuriating week so far! Had some anxiety when I couldn’t initially find Lynn when the new switched happened (yeah, I am addicted to Lynn’s blog!) New on Twitter and I am a complete twitter moron : ). JZ twatted away like crazy before the reunion how “excited” she was and couldn’t wait for it and on and on. Then the next day (after having seen the public’s response to it)… she twittered asking everyone if they are okay after the “bloodbath”? This woman is truly delusional. Did anyone see the twitter message where Kelly links and likes a Jezebel blog? (A blog that makes Kelly look like an even bigger moron). Someone sends a tweet to Kelly asking her if she understands that the article actually means Jezebel doesn’t like her… to which Kelly responds and say that she remembers being a “new” writer and that everyone should leave Jezebel alone (???) and she likes how Jezebel “thinks out of the box”? Why is this woman not committed??? Andy’s behavior towards Alex made me furious. I think his dismissive behavior towards Alex spurns on the brunettes.

    • mich_in_mich says:

ITA Kelly-land population 1 (maybe PR 103 is babble like an idiot to momentarily confuse and baffle the sane people).

    • Jezzibel says:

Kelly will tweet any mention about her in any article in any tabloid/blog/paper even if the article is less then flattering.

    • Chertin says:

Lay off Kelly. She still thinks she went to Columbia.

    • Adgirl says:

Stop systematically bullying the Jezebel website with the knives that literally cover your keyboards! That’s mean.

      • MAMAZ says:

So Kelly thinks Jezebel is a person? lol And a NEW writer? The site’s been around for 4 or 5 years.

    • HaterReb says:

Actually, ur right Andy was a bit off when it came to Alex.Maybe he was PMSing like Romona.lol Anyway, Kelly is a moron and certifiable for real.

  32. Queen Butter Bean says:

Perhaps I’m late to the party, but did anyone see this article about Housewives and bullying – cyber and otherwise?

    • Nyny says:

great article, thanks for posting…. I love the last paragraph

“So attention, housewives (we won’t name names here), if you feel so strongly about being victims of cyber bullying, perhaps you should refrain from cyber bullying others first. Look in the mirror (or rather, your computer screen) and consider that you’re guilty of doing just the same.”

      Classic!

  33. Kats2 says:

If this was posted already too bad, it’s worth another look :) I can’t wait for the Beverly HW’s
this is a video of the upcoming season.

    http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20513178,00.html

It looks like a lot of drama!

The big difference from the NYC HW’s – while there are some bad seeds, nasty moments and legit bad problems with Beverly Hills HW’s. For me they are fascinating to watch, they have real money, interesting taste, they are for the most part educated and while they have their moments I would Never use the word VILE to describe them. Jill, Luann, Kelly and Cindy are VILE.

BH takes me back to being that happy fly on the wall and the desire to watch each episode over again. It’s a guilty pleasure. NYC HW’s is a punishment! I could barely get thru one episode of NYC HW’s this past season.

It’s just a breath of fresh air and the only HW franchise where the CLASS word MIGHT apply or should be used.

    • Kukulet says:

I agree with you…BH still has that “good” feel to it. Hope it doesn’t suffer from second season syndrome.

NY is just boring. Hopefully the hideous reunion will be the last gasp.

      • Pghemtchick says:

I’m only watching because I like Jiggy/Giggy. Kinda sad, I know, but there’s something about watching that lil guy that makes me smile.

    • Rose Colored Glasses says:

Plus Lisa Vanderpump has the clever one liners and ability to deliver them that the cast of NYC sorely lacks in Bethenny’s absence. Give it up JZ, you don’t do it well, one liners require a likeability!

      • Golden Girl says:

On the video was Adrienne saying Lisa stirs the pot? I have always felt that Lisa was a sh*t stirrer even though she is funny and charming.

        • Rose Colored Glasses says:

I know, although Lisa is sharp tongued and were I on the receiving end it might seem mean, she was enjoyable like Bethenny. Last season when she was insisting on calling out Taylor and wanted to get to the bottom of things, I was wanting a voice of reason and hoping to get some insight about the Camille vs. Kyle debacle’s roots in NYC. But from another point of view it might seem like sh*t stirring. So much of it is editing.

  34. It still amazes me that these broads haven’t figured it out by now that if you try to mess with Ramona, she’s gonna let loose some words that feel like a punch in the face. If you throw an accusation at Ramona, it’s going to roll right off her back and her tongue is going to turn into an AK47. Luann and Jill have no excuse because they KNOW that this is what’s going to happen. If they don’t then they are even dumber than I thought.

Team blonde. All day, every day.

    • Chertin says:

Okay, but doesn’t that go both ways? If you cross Jill, it’s going to incite vindictive plotting and her tongue is going to turn into [some sort of stupid weapon metaphor] and you have no excuse because you KNOW that is what is going to happen. Right?

      • HD says:

ITA. I said the same thing yesterday. What is good for the goose is good for the gander. I come from the old school, if you can dish it, be prepared to take it.

      • Certainly. But it’s Jill who is always crying foul, not Ramona. Ramona can take the heat. That’s the difference.

        • Chertin says:

Wasn’t Ramona whining on the reunion the other night about LuAnn attacking her marriage? (Did LuAnn even do this?) And when Jill *did* attack her marriage, I would not call Ramona’s a stoic response. Ramona also seemed bizarrely unsettled by this cigar/suit issue, and in at least one past reunion I believe it was Ramona who got up and walked out because she was Offended by something. I’m not a “brunettes” fan, but i find it difficult to respect Ramona.

          • Trudie says:

In a very passive aggressive way, LuAnn did attack Ramona’s marriage. When they were having lunch before LuAnn’s video shoot, Ramona said something about how she, Mario and Avery are the three musketeers, a trinity, (something with 3 in it, can’t remember now) and LuAnn said something like how’s that working for you? Veiled but real attack.

            • Chertin says:

Yes, I remember…”trifecta!” Still, I think Ramona’s comments at the lunch and the reunion, too, re: LuAnn’s kids were way over the line. But as the poster above noted, over-the-line can be expected from Ramona.

          • BessiB says:

I did not see it as whining. She was just letting them know that they started it, and she will finish it.

          • Adios Lunatic aka/HW Addict says:

Don’t forget that Loumann hit on Mario and I suspect that was very early in Loumann and Ramoner’s “friendship”… food for thought…

  35. mich_in_mich says:

I have a pit in my stomach when thinking about reunion part 2. So far the brunettes have systematically (yes Kelly I said systematically) said Ramona is an alcoholic, Mario is cheating, Simon is verbally abusive, and that Simon is cyber bullying as well as mean tweeting.

I think it is going to get extremely ugly when they confront Alex about Simon (and Alex) using the “C” word. I do wish Simon and Alex had better explained that unfortunate moment. I believe that Simon and Alex both consider themselves “word-smiths” and they were trying to be pithy with their play on words and acronyms. I have had this debate with my college aged daughter when she uses expressions like “WTF” and “FML”. I don’t appreciate it and tell her to watch her language around me but she insists that those aren’t technically swearing. I disagree but I think many people (especially in that generation) feel that spelling out the word (or abbreviating it) takes the sting out of actually saying it. I truly do not believe that Simon is not a misogynist but that moment (and his not adequately explaining it) is going to add fuel to the brunette fire :(.

    • AF says:

I know in a clip I saw of next monday’s episode, either Jill or LuAnn called Alex out on the “C” word incident. One of them asked why Simon would say such a thing about LuAnn and Alex responded with, “Because you were acting like one!”

So, yeah…things are probably going to get really ugly during part 2…

      • AF says:

And I think the blondes are going to continue to take the hits and be made to look like fools, while the brunettes will continue to get away with everything.

        • To a point. The previews show the brunetts doing some stupid chanting and mocking Ramona’s foot massage with Mario. I belive it will backfire and show how juvenile and hateful they are. Plus it will further prove how orchestrated their attacks have been.

          • mich_in_mich says:

Chanting really??? Alex had it right when she said the were mean girls and stuck in high school. ITA it does show they planned ahead to discredit talk over the blondes

            • Rose Colored Glasses says:

Meditation ummmmm… Ridiculous, looks as if the do it ti mock Alex.

            • WindyCityWondering says:

Yes! Jill “does” Kelly’s foot (a big ugly one I might add) complete with moaning. Very juvenile and will only serve to make Jill look like the sex for money shrew we know her to be.

          • Jezzibel says:

like I said yesterday the brunettes are in heaven thinking they are sticking it to the blondes, they are thinking and acting in the short term, and have not or will not realize how much they are going to suffer in the long term becuase of their actions.
its going badly for the blondes and they are suffering in the short term, but they will gain in the long term. How they are being treated by the brunettes currently will go a long way with viewers when it comes to stuff the blondes want to endorse or brand.
Jill is loathed by the viewing public who respond to her actions by not buying anything she seems to endorse.
Kelly is crazy, but I’ve never even seen her book for sale anywhere, and this new book she’s going to put out, why would anyone by it when they can look at her tweets and get all of her advise and fashion tips for free.
After RHNYC what singing career is Luann really going to have.
Cindy’s business is going to suffer because she is unlikable and proven liar.
The blondes will have they sympathy of viewers after what they have gone through at the hands of the brunettes and sympathetic viewers will more then likely buy whatever the blondes chose to sell or endorse/brand.

            • Jezzibel says:

I forgot to add that given Ramona’s background in business I’m sure she knows all about short term loses vrs. long term gains. She got where she is by being a very astute business woman, so I believe she is playing the long game, which is why she hasn’t hauled off and smacked any of the brunettes this season.

              • Golden Girl says:

I totally agree with you. I will never buy a product from Jill, Luann, Kelly, or Cindy. I will buy Romonas wine and I do buy Bethennys SG margarita and will continue to do so. Cindy is a moron she is coming out with an at home waxing kit and after seeing her horrible attitude I will never give her one cent of my hard earned money.

                • susanssnark says:

I refuse to watch part II. I will be here, reading the blog and chatting here but I will not add to their viewership and here is why…posted this the other night during the reunion and want to share it again. Bring on BH season 2 pls!

I know I started watching these type of shows because I loved watching the lifestyles of the rich and famous. I enjoyed seeing how the super-rich jet setters lived. I wanted to see the interiors of their various homes and catch a glimpse into the social circles they traveled in. It was an escape for me to take a peek into how the “other side” operated and got to live. It was fun and I enjoyed ever minute of it. RHONY and the OC did that for me, initially. I was amazed at the plastic surgeries, the shopping trips, the private limos to the jewelry stores, and number of staff they had, the shoes, furs, clothing, decor and excess…it was all fabulous. To top it ALL off, these ladies were housewives with kids for the most part. They and I shared something in common.

. And then….it changed. The rich lost their money. Numerous bankruptcy filings, divorces, nasty legal battles over money, infidelities, back-stabbing so-called friends, gossip and I mean really mean-hearted, nasty damaging gossip, lies, bullying- real bullying not the kind JZ and Jellyhead talk about but real bullying, issues with finances, homes being foreclosed on.

None of the above is what I signed on for when I became of the fan of this show!!! NONE of it! I feel cheated. I feel duped. I don’t want to see this ugliness week after bloody week! I want to see them shop, spend money, travel and redecorate their fabulous homes! I want to see grand parties and chic brunches!!! I want to see their walk-in closets and jewelry not the gold encrusted knives they so nonchalantly shove into each other’s backs at every opportunity! I want to see the mega-exclusive private schools their children attend, not hear the news reports of the foul obscene thins their children have done or the crimes they have committed.

This show has changed. The entire series has changed. The focus of the entire premise upon which REAL HOUSEWIVES was built has shifted. And I don’t care for it anymore. Some may say perhaps it has become a little “too real”. Maybe that’s true. But if I wanted REAL I never would have tuned in, in the first place. I can get real down at the local grocery store. I can get real while I am on my 4th load of laundry and scrubbing my bathroom floors. I can get real when I am trying to balance the checkbook and there simply is not enough to go around. My life is already plenty real, I don’t need anymore realness here. We’re all filled up with real and sold out of reality.

Andy Cohen- please, put the show back the way it was. You have become to enmeshed in these ladies lives. You have lost your perspective and there is no balance anymore. You play favorites. Your credibility as a partial outside observer, or referee, is gone, sir. You have become as transparent as the women sitting to your right. They now truly believe they are television stars. And I think, unfortunately, you have been drinking the RHKool-Aid. Then, on reunion night, arguably the biggest night in the season, you book a co-host, Doogie, whom does not even WATCH the dang show. Seriously, Andy? That is the best you could do? We then had to listen to Doogie regurgitate the small bit of info he did know about the show which were only anecdotes and sound bytes, he got from…YOU!

                • HaterReb says:

hear, hear!!! team blond all day everyday.Dont forgot Sonja’s cookbook.

            • BessiB says:

After slamming Bethenny and then Alex all last season, it did not turn out so well for Jill. So she is doing it AGAIN. She has lost it.

          • Need a Hobby says:

Yeah, wtf was that about? I had literally dialed the bitches down to 2 since they were making my headache worse, & then I looked up & there was Jill & Co foot grabbing and making faces???? Strange. More remarkably, by that time I really didn’t care what it was about so I was like OK, whatev. By that point I actually looked forward to the commercials. Yes, the reunion show was just that bad.

            • IcedMeNot says:

I know this is a day late but I am watching the reunion again. I agree with you all. The fun and the funny have disappeared! It was sucked up by Jill Zarin, hateful type that she is, and no amount of light hearted antics will survive her group’s organized BULLYING of the women they want thrown off the show.
I turned it off finally with Cindy’s segment. Remember how she said Ramona has a bad core? I am licensed in psychology, so let me say that was the best example of projection that I have seen in my decades of practice. She is an unpleasant person to watch because her repartee was learned in a bar somewhere in a bad neighborhood, where she picked up the sophisticated retorts of “Oh yeah?” or rolling eyes, but most ugly–the contemptuous lip curl of her oversized snout.
Her demeanor soured my stomach and had to turn off the t.v. How people hope to sell a product after exposing themselves this way is very bad business planning.
There, I may be wrong day, wrong time, wrong place, but you buddies of mine will understand so I feel a little better. (Hope somebody reads this!)

    • Chertin says:

I posted a long, thoughtful response to this, but my post didn’t appear. I assume it was screened out because it contained the term that Alex/Simon used on the show, which is pretty ironic when you think about it.

      • Amy Matheson says:

Not sure how new you are, but that is false. Try posting it again.

        • Pghemtchick says:

Thought I read somewhere from Lynn that using that word unabbreviated sends it into moderation.

        • BambiBaby22 says:

Amy, yesterday I typed a response and used the F word, and it wouldn’t post until I changed it to “eff”….so there is some sort of filter now.

          • Amy Matheson says:

Haha – you’re right. I used the f-word on here once too and it had to be moderated but Lynn did post. :) Bad Amy.

My point is Lynn doesn’t censor (even the big bad words) and definitely not because you have a different opinion. She has only censored when posters have become abusive with each other.

        • Chertin says:

I’m very new (first day LOL), but I wasn’t insinuating that Lynn made a deliberate decision to censor the post. I assumed that because it contained profanity it was automatically prevented from appearing. It was definitely not personally abusive towards any other poster, so hopefully it will appear later after moderation!

          • OneMoreInBoston says:

Welcome on your first day here!

            • Chertin says:

Thanks :) Happy to be here!

I watch this show obsessively and wanted to discuss it with someone…and my husband has made it clear he does NOT want to be that person LOL. I may have unintentionally ruffled some feathers on my first day, which was not my intention, but I love how dynamic this site is! Every time I click refresh there are new comments, basically uncensored, and very, very funny.

        • BessiB says:

I think she is right. I saw that Lynn said the that work will get you pulled by
Wordpress every time. But I think Lynn goes in later an releases it.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Taylor has to have a storyline this season – Camille had the divorce card last season.

      • Jezzibel says:

its horrible if its true, but given that she’s blatently lied before about her past and who is the godmother of her daughter. I know Russell wasn’t the most popular of husbands, but if she’s lying about the abuse, thats just evil.

      • HD says:

Wow. I never would have guessed he was physically abusive. He did seem controlling like that silent control. I will never forget how he made Taylor leave when they were having drinks in Vegas.

        • WindyCityWondering says:

Sadly, I would not be surprised if there was physical abuse – Russell just always seemed off to me.

          • PF says:

There was certainly verbal abuse. On the way to her charity in the car when he started putting her down for picking the day to have the event. I felt for her then. I watched the video on bravo….she looks like she is finally having a nervous breakdown….and seems to get into it with Kyle.

        • Jezzibel says:

I don’t know about this, but I do think that we need to factor in some stuff, like Bravo editing Russell in a way that would best flow with Taylor/Shana’s story line of “a rich woman in a cold loveless marriage will they work it out or will they divorce”..tune in next season for the exciting conclusion. Their divorce annoucement was weeks ago and barely made a blip on the gossip sites, aside from readers going “yea I saw that coming from a mile away”. Now there is the sensationalized claim of a years of abuse. I’m sorry I’m skeptical, its horrible if its true and evil if its not.

        • Adios Lunatic aka/HW Addict says:

It seemed, IMO, that he just wanted some alone time with her, I thought SHE played as though he was being controlling. It was obvious to me that she had an agenda last season and that was to beat down her husband so she could get out of the marriage w/o looking like she dumped him because the money was running out. I thought his scenes w/his daughter were sweet and he was very patient with her. I also think that Taylor orchestrated, in a very Munchausen syndrome way, her daughter’s “allergy” to the dog to make him pay for gooing over her head. I have alergy related conjunctivitis and when it happens my eyes are a pussy mess the entire day (sorry for the visual) and Taylor was claiming that her daughter was waking up every morning having to peel hr eyes open, I alos noticed the doctor seemed suspect to that claim as well because he has to know that the little girl would have some remanent of that when she was in his office. I think Tyler, or whatever her name is, is pretty close to living in Kellyland or at the very least a suburb of Kellyland.

Does anyone know how the question selection process works? Do the hw have a say in what they want to addres, or is it purely what Andy wants to discuss?
Frankly, the stupidity of the questions is why the reunions and WWHL are getting u watchable IMHO.
Thank you baby Jesus in the manger though that finally, FINALLY!, a reunion didn’t start off with “unpaid intern #3 from Iowa wants to know: did any of the ladies have plastic surgery? Gee, we got this question a lot!”
sure ya did Andy, sure ya did.
So, how old was that person who asked how sonja could be broke but throw a party? Even 13 yo Ben wiener knows about celebrities and comps, and seriously, anyone stupid enough to think lulu actually paid for 7 women to go to morocco for a week needs to switch the channel to icarly because rhony is clearly too over their heads. Seriously, did this person really think Sonja could pay off $7 mil if only she cut more coupons and not go out to eat so much?
We already have penniless Kelly living for free, going to every party she’s invited to for the free food, living off chicken wings and beer, serving gummy bears to her guests the one and only time she ever hosted anything ever in three whole years on tv.

    • Chertin says:

Even if parties and dresses are comped, it’s reasonable to wonder how Sonja could continue to spend if she is in BK. Theoretically, a trustee should have control over all her assets and should only be permitting bare minimum expenditures.

      • But, the comps probably are not considered assets or income. They are either charitable donations or veiwed as advertising expenses. Those can be written off.
I do feel for Sonja because I experienced similar things going through a divorce with my ex. He delayed paying child support, alimony and ponying up my share of our assets. I was left with no choice but to declare bankrupty to protect myself. Hell, it took me over 10 years to finally recieve my half of our shared 401k assets. Many states have laws that marital assets half to be split equally, but there are plenty of loopholes to those laws. Plus, there are plenty of laywers who exploit those loopholes for their clients. And an equal amount of judges who let it all happen. Nothing is EVER black & white when it comes to divorce, bankruptcy or the legal system.

        • Chertin says:

Yeah, I’m not suggesting the bankruptcy would block the comps themselves. But we see Sonja spending money on other stuff, too — I wonder, for example, if hair and makeup and cars are comped — and in several scenes, we see her swipe a credit card. How would she even have a credit card? Does the automatic stay force credit card companies to keep letting you incur charges? I suppose it could have been a debit card linked to an account designated for her discretionary use. You are correct that very little is black and white.

          • A bankruptcy still allows you to earn income. Your living expenses are deducted and any left over income maybe ordered to go toward repayment. Or, as in my case, The court allows for a set amount of you income to be applied monthly toward your debt until the bankruptcy is discharged. No more is added to that amount unless your income increases dramatically. Then a re-evaluation would be done. Once the bankruptcy is finished those debts are written off and creditors can not come after you for them. However, if you accrue new debt after you file that debt is fair game and not protected by the bankruptcy. Bankruptcy is not an easy fix. It is painful and humiliating to go through. It is the last resort anyone should consider. Thankfully, I have come through mine and I am rebuilding the good credit and name I once had. It’s a long and hard process.

            • Error404 says:

Good luck shadows. There but for the grace of god go all of us. Bad luck is lurking around every comner to randomly strike wihtout prejudice, but the one thing lurking online has taught me, is people’s need to feel superior to others, claiming their own current good luck is down to their own merits. I stick by my contention that viewers who can’t tell the difference between teressa (grifter), Alexis (victim of economy), and sonja (business deal gone wrong) dont have the skills to watch bravo. LoL

              • True! And thanks. One other point to bankrupty. There are two types. The kind I went through where I kept my most my assets and worked through a repayment plan. Then there is the kind that you can give up all your current assets and you are done. It is a shorter bankruptcy and if your assets are not even close to your debt then the creditors lose more than the repayment plan. Most states and the federal government have mandates that you have to meet before you can do a total write off. The repayment plan is the more common plan allowed. And, the states have to follow the Federal Goverments requirments. Because you do go through the federal court system in all bankruptcy cases.

      • Error404 says:

Sonja spends? I’m sorry, what are you talking about? What, light bulbs? She didn’t even pay the plumber, saying she did the work and he got free tv time! Even the eggs she cooked cindy were probably written off as research for her cookbook business. LoL
Even before she went broke, we never even saw her so much as buy a purse last season. She can’t even afford new panties! LoL

        • BessiB says:

She may be allowed a spending allowance. Trumps “pocket money” in his debt restructuring in the early 90’s was $100.000 per month.

    • Jezzibel says:

the only thing I remeber Kelly hosting(and she did it badly) was that Halloween party S2 that she was not only late for, but the bar sold over priced drinks and there was very little nibbles for the attendees. I seem to remember is was also out of the way for several of the HW. Might explain why she’s never hosted anything since she could’nt even pull off a halloween party

      • Adgirl says:

Was it last season Kelly had some of them over to her Hampton’s house where she served champagne and twizzlers?

    • WindyCityWondering says:

IMO it is Andy who makes up the questions – like the what work have you had done ones. Plus he also covers the major dramas and loves to say viewers have called you (insert horrible names). He may cull stuff from viewer comments, but he puts the Andy spin on everything and will give lead in answers (which pisses me off).

    • Amber...Real Wife says:

BINGO!!! Erorr, I called BINGO! So much criticism of LadySonjaMorgan by the cheap bitches Jillzilla and Kookadoo, yet they NEVER invite others to parties or events where they are footing the bill! Sure Jill invites people to plan and work for charity or donate money, Kelly will ‘share’ a freebie connection with Dasboot for a few dresses for publicity, but THEY HAVE NEVER HOSTED A BIG EVENT in their HOMES or RESTAURANT! Even broke-ass Luman hosted Jillusional’s BDAY, a soiree in the Hamptons home, Victoria’s Sweet16 etc. What have those two done, but invite others to events they are paid to host. They are two dirty whore-rrible tight-wad bitches, who just like to criticize everyone. I guess Jillousy is embarassed of her over-chtachtkied apartment and KrazyFelonKeller doesn’t want anyone’s bad vibes in her house that Giles bought.

…and this part was funny, I thought.

“The two, she added, were not necessarily close as children, only growing more so after college. Their parents are thrilled to see them working well together, he said. ”They think we’re the greatest kids,” he said. ”They just want to see us married.”

Cindy, Howie, they prolly didn’t mean married TO EACH OTHER!

If Jill would like to see some mean tweets, she should be following Evel Dick and Ragen Fox from BB 12. Right now they are really in a great twitter fight. Also, a few minutes ago someone told Teresa that she should go on Dancing With the Stars and she told them that she would love it, but they weren’t interested in Housewives this season. So, sorry Tre, it’s a no go!!

I just left B this message on her FB page. “If it’s true you have spoken to JZ, don’t get sucked back in. It’s just to ride you coat tails of success. And remember JH doesn’t really even care for JZ. Just my thoughts…..”

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Bethenny would never do it but I wish she would answer the “been in contact/who knows what the future holds” claim JZ is making!

      • Sam says:

“Been in contact with” could simply mean “My people have contacted her people to set up a meeting.” And Jill doesn’t say that Bethenny has “been in contact with” her, so I suspect this is a case of Jill “reaching out” and hearing nothing but crickets in response.

        • Trudie says:

The other thing that bothers me about the Bethenny/Jill issue, is that Jill keeps saying that Ramona didn’t try to help her get back together with Bethenny and when it is pointed out that Ramona did have them at her apartment to try to clear the air, Jill’s response is that she wasn’t ready. What more did she want Ramona to do?

        • BessiB says:

I think it means that they were in the same studio when the Bravo summer camp commercial was filmed.

    • Dwight Schrute says:

Hopefully the fact that Jill was on the reunion stating she was “scared” of Bethenny would put the kibosh on any further interactions.

For someone who kicked her to the curb and then tried desperately to get back in her good graces she certainly didn’t act like someone who was scared, just someone without her notes. She and Luann really need to be called on this being scared of Bethenny crap! She didn’t seem scared when she had the gall to travel to Scary Island.

    Good afternoon,
Sorry, but I feel the need to rant!
I think Ramona, Alex, Lumann, Koo-Koo, and whatever it’s name is, can be mean – just like me.
Jill is different. I think she sits and plots on how she can DESTROY
Bethanny- she tried to get people not to film with her. Jill wanted people not to like Bethanny so they wouldn’t watch Bethannys show. Jill, What IS WRONG WITH YOU?
ALex – Talking about the naked pictures being taken at Simon hotel. She only did that to cause Simon trouble at work. Simon mean twitting. JILL WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?
Ramona – Trying to make people think Ramona has a drinking problem. Talking about Ramonas marriage. BS like this could cause Ramona not to be invited back to QVC or HSL to sell her stuff. JILL WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?

This is NOT normal. Jills not just mean, she is EVIL

    • Amber...Real Wife says:

Jill doesn’t just take her toys and leave. Jill does a slash and burn, then high tales it out of there! She admitted if you hit her once, she hits you much harder. She doesn’t just retaliate, she strikes vengefully in order to discourage disobediance again. In some cases she just wants you wounded others cases destroyed and gone. Heavy right?

      • Golden Girl says:

Jill hopes that Romona will loose her QVC gig because she feels that Romona cost her her Kodak deal.

    Hi Kids,
I basically need a break after the big move and the reunion and all. Congratulations Lynn on getting a 1000 comments yesterday. That is so amazing.

This show and blog are really taking a toll. The show, needless to say, is affecting my blood pressure. Although I’m saying I won’t watch Part 2, I know that I will, but I really won’t be back. I’ve lost all hope in these people (the browns), there will be no redemption. I don’t subject myself to this in real life and do not need it on an on-going basis on TV.
I love this blog. But it is also taking up too much of my life….just to keep up with it takes me several hours each day. If anyone can offer advice on time management (with this blog) let me know.
    Love you all.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Take care sweetie – your health is important! No advice on time management – maybe just read the blogs and skim the comments of the shows you are most interested in. Pop in from time to time!

Jill really has it out for Alex because (drum roll) Alex delivered one of the best revelations at the reunion last year: “You said “Don’t film with Bethenny”” and Ramona admitted it was true. That was the absolute perfect remark and I’m sure Jill never expected that to come out from one of her castmates.

    • Amber...Real Wife says:

Hi Indy, I totally feel your pain, as I suffered the same fate. I’ve learned to manage my IHJZ blog time more efficiently. Here’s how…

      1. I read the main Blog first and the contributors if it’s a show I watch. Some contributors have actually made me like and watch the show.

      2. If in a time crunch and not of interest, I DO NOT press on any links.

      3. I glance at the posts pressing page down searching for key words.

      4. I see the number of responses to a subject and quickly read the the thread.

      5. I ALWAYS STOP FOR TROLLS! LOL Those practically pay for themselves.

      6. Some choose to post after reading the blog but not the posts. Then they come back and read from bottom up. I read the blog, read the posts and then I do my recap. :)

      Hope it helped.

      • Indy501 says:

On a good day I read the blog first and read through the posts, remember the time and then come back to see if there are newer posts. Anal? Yes ma’am.
I think since I agree with all of you I need to just scan for new dirt. Like is Jill in AA or not?
What I would like to know is how to do politicians have people coming out of the woodwork to rat on them….but you can hardly get a shred of anything on these chicks.
I know if it were possible to rat out people that crossed me I would be first in line to dish.

        Anyway, back to work…..

BTW I’m making Lasagna right now. He’s due in at 8:30pm, needless to say it’ll be piping hot as i’ve been on here and then school shopping with RealSon. Priorities indeed.

    • AF says:

Thanks for the link. I didn’t watch the first season of Beverly Hills, but, since I’ve given up on New York, this is probably going to be the replacement show. It looks intense…

  43. LOLing says:

I never get to weigh in on NY! My beach time is Thurs.-Sunday (home in time for RHNJ!). We have no computer there and I refuse to coment on my phone. Oh and FYI WordPress works better on the phone than that other site. Just sayin’ :) I’ll save NJ comments for next week…since it’s a 14 part holiday special.

The NY reunion was repulsive and gross. I can’t say any of the woman were even remotely worthy of anyones respect or admiration. I was glad Andy Cohen told them to STFU. I say that every week to my TV, glad he said it out loud. Andy also said he’s gotten ALOT of tweets about replacing all of them, like NPH suggested. Some or all of them are going to go. I hope. Unless no one ill join the cast! Could you blame them? So, here’s what I think:

Ramona: You can tell Ramona grew up in an abusive home. When she is struck (or just gets mad) she strikes back and she does it dirty. It’s just what she knows. Like when she went for Bethenny’s jugular last year on the bridge. She can be verbally abusive. The good news for Ramona is, she knows it and she owns it. She feels remorse for it. It’s her defense mechanism. and I’m sure that the situations she is put in on HW’s makes it worse, b/c they are all so nasty. I wonder if she ever has flashbacks when these woman are going at it? I do think Ramona is a little crazy, but it’s a good kind of crazy. Unlike say, Danielle or Salahi crazy. I love Ramona and her family! Ramona WILL return next year.

Alex: I hated Alex season 1. She was so pretentious. She grew on me and now I really like her. Simon? Eh, he’s there. Her timing sucks and she was really trying too hard to get her digs in at the reunion. It is so obvious that the Brunettes hate her. I’m not sure why? Out of all the housewives, Alex is the one that would have your back and defend you and help you any way she could. A lot of the fans like her, not sure what Cohen thinks but all that matters is the Q Rating anyway. Alex MAY return next year.

Cindy: Not worth commenting. Cindy WILL NOT return next year.

LuAnn: I hate Luann. I hate everything about her. If I could I would punch her. She’s mean, rude, vile, hypocritical and snooty. They should force Congress to listen to “Money Can’t Buy You Class” on repeat until they get a debt deal. Guarantee they’d work it out but quick! However, every show needs someone you love to hate. For RHNY, that’s Luann. Luann WILL return next season.

Kelly: I don’t know what can be said that hasn’t been said already. She really adds nothing to the show. Kelly WILL NOT be back next year.

Sonja: I love Sonja. She’s classy, bawdy, funny and doesn’t take herself too seriously. Unless she’s cooking you a toaster oven breakfast and you take a call. (Really, it was rude, but it wasn’t a federal case). Sonja has great one liners, does what she wants and doesn’t let anyone bully her into something she doesn’t want to do (like a music video). When Sonja wants revenge, she gets revenge, nice and quietly. Like cutting you out of vacation pictures. Unlike Jill, when Sonja is done with you, she freezes you out instead of going on and on and trying to ruin you. Sonja is fun. Sonja WILL be back next year.

Jill: Ugh. It’s all been said. It will come down to Bravo making a decision about whether they want Jill to make the show more toxic than it is (b/c she’ll never change), or just cut her loose. Poor Andy will have to change his phone number and move to another apartment. Maybe they could “Kim G” her, let her pop in and out until she makes such an ass of herself that there is no other option than to get rid of her forever. This is a tough one. Jill MAY return to the show next year.

Bethenney: Yes, I know Beth isn’t on the show anymore, but she’s still there in spirit. So, I will pretend I am Bethenney.
Jill, I hate you. Get a hobby, I’m done. Lose my number. The reason we are not friends is because of you and only you. No one else. Now keep my name out you mouth!
Kelly, I’m up here YOU are down there. Have a SkinnygirlMargarita and suck it.
Cindy: I don’t know you. But, I’m a businesswoman so good luck. I’ll trade you some Skinnygirl for a Vagazziled Brazillian. Call me. DON’T bring Jill.
Luann: It wsn’t the hormones, you are a snake. And a dumb drag queen.
Ramona, Alex and Sonja, let’s set up some times for you to film on MY show.

Yes, Bethenney the underdog is arguably the most sucessful HW. I love that she got the guy, the baby, the career and the $$$ (she’s got more than all of them combined!). Jill is as green as that guy on the Flintsones. Gazoo? I imagine it makes Jill even madder that she isn’t part of it. HAHA!

    • MaryE says:

Right on all counts except Kelly. Get the sense Andy really likes Kelly/wants her there. She’ll be back if she doesn’t get committed first.

      • LOLing says:

You may be right. I think Andy is amused by loopiness. I probably should have put her on the MAY come back list.

  44. lillybee says:

I think that Jill outing Mario as a cheater may be a way to try and destroy his TRU-FAITH business.
Some religious people would not buy symbols of faith from an alleged adulterer.

    • Good point and true. And , how many people would buy pinot from Ramona if she were an alcoholic? It is classic MO for Jill. She did the same to Simon when she accused him of having a drinking problem and taking pictures at his employer’s hotel. Jill doesn’t just try to hurt people, she wants to destroy her precieved enemies.

      • Error404 says:

Simon is a social media consultant currently accused of cyber bullying. Would you hire a meantweeter to help boost your twitter following? Jill is cut throat and evil

        • Wicked says:

Ur right AGAIN!! She’s after Simon’s media company.

Who & where is Zarin fabrics manufactured? That Evil Bitch probably uses child labor. Any made in USA? refugee labor? What? I wanna know. I’m mad.

      • WindyCityWondering says:

IF Jill is a recovering alcoholic – on what planet would she use the drunk card and think she will get away with it? Does her hater nature blind her to what could be a crushing blowback if she is exposed?

        • LOLing says:

Jill will never admit it and no one will expose her. People take the Anonymous part of AA pretty seriously. Not to say people from her AA past wouldn’t go to the papers but they won’t use their names (thus exposing themselves) and she wil deny it. If there are no names attached she can say it was a castmember etc. Plus, I think any of her past friends and co-workers will keep quiet, Jill is a bitch but she does have cache as a reality TV “star”. Who wants to be subjected to her wrath. I have a feeling it may just be Ramona being nasty.

Funny story: I went on a cruise w/ my mom a few years ago (she’s a cruising queen). Everyday you got a list of activites that were going on. Everyday there were 2 meetings of the “Friends of Bill W” (or something like that). I told my mom one day that I was going to go see who Bill W. was and who his friends were. She expalined to me that FOBW was the code name for Alcoholics Anonymous! Makes sense. Ships=Lots of booze! Thank God I didn’t just go on my own, I would have felt like a real ass.

    • Wicked says:

OMGosh, YOU ARE RIGHT!! JILL IS TRYING TO DESTROY MARIO’S BUSINESS!!!

      • susanssnark says:

I think she is right too and that never dawned on me before. What a truly evil bitch.

    • Wicked says:

Lynn- this issue needs to be raised & explored. Thanks

Ramona made a fool out of Jill in front of kodak. She must pay.
      Line of wine = alcoholic
      Tru faith = adulterer
      Jill is evil

    • Chertin says:

Yeah, but it seems like public figures who are flamboyantly Christian are more likely — not less likely — to be involved in sex scandals than other people. At least Mario is no Ted Haggard! Given the headlines we’ve seen, I would think the “tru faith” customers would simply be relieved Mario was cheating with a woman.

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2019365/My-husband-abused-claims-Real-Housewives-star-Taylor-Armstrong.html

I am most definitely NOT a fan of Taylor’s…but it wouldn’t surprise me if this is true. I always got that vibe from him, and the way Taylor reacted to him.

    • Jezzibel says:

see I didn’t get that vibe from him. If its true its horrible, if not that is a very evil thing to accuse him of. To me he seemed aloof and disinterested in playing along with whatever she was trying to project herself as being. When she was talking at the womens shelter I got the impression that was the first time he’d ever heard about her having had a abusive past. I guess we’ll see how it turns out, I imagine there is going to be alot of mud slinging in the gossip pages for this divorce.

      • Causing_A_Casino says:

Two weeks after filing for divorce she now claims, out of nowhere, he abused her. She’s angling for more money and a better settlement. Let’s be real- during the last season he barely touched her in any fashion. He was detached and disinterested. She, on the other hand, was agressive and constantly trying to get him to react to her in anyway. Taylor just oozes snake vibes. We’ve seen her be a shit stirrer and bitch. I just really find it difficult to believe- she’s a mess

        • Thedesigndiva says:

She probably threatened to go Oklahoma on his ass……right after he told her he was taking her to Betty FORD….

        • MAMAZ says:

I got more of a disinterested vibe from Russel but you never can tell. If he was abusive then I hope he burns in hell. If he wasn’t and she is making it up then I hope SHE burns in hell.
A lot of abuse claims do seem to come out of the blue for many reasons including fear, embarrasment. I also think Taylor has an eating disorder and may use drugs to diet. These are things that could influence a family court judge. Taylor may be trying to exagerate a one time occurance (not that even one time is ok) into a whole abuse issue to counteract any unfit claims Russel may be planning on making.

    • LOLing says:

Or they are both in on it? I would think he would get that being an abusive husband would hurt his career. BUT it gets her magazine articles or covers (AKA$$$$) they can share the wealth. All he has to say to his biz partners (or whatever) is that she lies. As they laugh and count the cash.

Goodness gracious BaawbbyZarin’s balls on fire! What a shitstorm Pt1 turned out to be, but did we expect anything less? Of course not, but I expected Alex to fare a little better than she did. While she was answering at will, it was the venemous interruptions of the Brunettes that startled and angered me. So disrespectful, rude and dismissive. They only yelled at Alex that way, they wouldn’t dare tell Ramona or Sonja to “shut up”, “be quiet”, “i’m not talking to you”, “shut up you” etc. It was their way of neutralizing and belittling her. Alex, ever the grande dame, would just let them interrupt her and everyone else, and of course didn’t return the favor.

How I WISH ANYONE of the Blondes would’ve said “SHUT UP” to the Brunettes. But these Blondes just used the “don’t interrupt’, “let me finish” etc. in response the vitriolic speech speech of the BrownBombers. Now, the Blondes did have their moments, Sonja to Kelly, Alex to Kelly, Ramona to Luman and Jill, but overall i’d say the hateful Brunettes got in more zingers. Even bovine ass Cindy, the dirtiest mouth breather called Alex a dog for panting! Cindy also made plenty references to drugs, with are you high, are you on crack, like a heroin addict etc! Shes a hateful petulant, stomping mess, even answering “Whaat?” to Andy, much to his surprise. LOL Yeah her days are numbered alright!

You could tell, that although Luman and Sonja were on opposite sides, they do want to continue their friendship. These two did interrupt and try to defend the others against their teams. Sonja trying to stop Ramona about Victoria and Countless disagreeing with Kelly and Cindy.

Did anyone watch Flipping Out last night? Anyone… anyone?

Sarah looked great. I was so pleased for her. And how funny was she when she embarrassed Jeff with her true life sexy talk. Haha.

Chaz had his arm around Trace’s chair at the strip club ….. hmmmm.

This episode was fun. Even though the shows storyline seems scripted (Sarah gets fired right before her wedding, Jenni is mysteriously back) I still enjoy it.

So much lighter than that awful awful AWFUL reunion show.

    • OneMoreInBoston says:

I did- sorry can’t stand the way Sarah looks. Trashy and tacky. And that huge wad of gum in her mouth 24/7-ugh!
      But
I liked last night. Just cute and light and fluffy and the most seriously horrible thing happening was employees laying by the pool getting drunk.
It was a nice counterbalance to the stomach churning mean-a-thon, the night before.

    • jillz68 says:

I watched Flipping Out with my husband. I love the show and the fact they all seem to like each other. Gage’s face during the bachelorette party was priceless.

I respectfully disagree about Sarah. I thought she was a hot mess. She seems like she would be a fun person for about an hour imho and then I would want to strangle her. I HATE her little girl voice and coy act. I often wonder if she can REALLY be as stupid as she seems. How many times does Jeff have to talk to her about her work performance?

While Jeff didn’t specifically say be at the talk, they shoulda known better.

      • VAGirl says:

Of course I watched it. Lol. I think Sarah needs to go. She’s nice, but not suited for her job at all. I enjoy the show because it makes me laugh and that’s what I’m looking for, not design tips. It’s about Jeff’s firm and the people around him, not about his designs. That’s the way I look at it. If I want design, I go to HGTV.

    • I just watched it and it looks like I’ll be having Bravo-free evenings. I had been looking forward to BH but not any more. I think this new production company is trying for their own Jenny Jones type trial.

      • Rose Colored Glasses says:

Looks like the show has turned really dark. Giggy will be out of place unless he channels Count Dracula. North American telenovela meets vampiric Dynasty? Please let there be some acts of kindness and lightheartedness? Bollywood is beginning to seem more real! Like Jeff Lewis said to Andy Cohen “you won’t be happy till they kill each other”.

  50. There was a discussion upthread about Sonja and her namedropping. A lot of people think it make Sonja pretentious and insecure. I can see that but I’m going to defend her.
I am a Sonja fan because I can relate to her to some extent.

Sonja married into one of the most powerful families in America. No we don’t have royalty here but we do have high society. The Morgan’s are in the upper echelons of high society. Sonja has rubbed elbows with the Rothchilds, Churchill,Vanderbilt’s, Getty’s and so on. It is a very closed society. Now that Sonja is no longer married to a Morgan, her access is limited. She still has doors opened for her because of who she knows and I’m sure to what she knows. These are doors Jill, Luann, Kelly and Cindy could only dream of having opened for them. This is the reason why Jill will not outright attack Sonja. Sonja still has some power in NY society. Power Jill would die to have.
Sonja could tell us plenty of stuff about that society if she chose. She limits herself to what she will reveal because she doesn’t want those doors closed to her. I find what she share interesting and facinating.Like Sonja said herself, less than 2% of us have ever lived or glimpsed that world.

Once you are divorced, does it mean you can no longer discuss the lifestyle you lived? I think not. Those experiences have helped shape the type of person Sonja is. Mine did as well. I enjoy sharing past adventures, they where fun and exciting. They give me prespective. I think they give Sonja it as well. Does it define who I am or Sonja? No! But should we no longer talk about it because we don’t have it anymore? No! I miss some aspects of my former lifestyle like Sonja does. But, I am currently very happy where I am now and the person I’ve become. I would rather be dirt poor and happy than a rich, miserable, hateful bitch like Jill Zarin. I think Sonja will get there too. She is still in the stage of morning the death of her marriage and the lifestyle it gave her. I cut her some slack here.

I don’t mind Sonja sharing her past and reminiscing about her adventures. I don’t think she lives in the past but I’m sure she misses the perks and lifestyle it once afforded her. She will get stronger once her financial situation gets resolved. She does feel vulnerable now and she is in a lot of ways. It is hard to let go of that protection and find the means to stand alone again. But, Sonja’s a fighter. She made it on her own before and she can do it again. But, thankfully she does have good true friends like Ramona to support her through it.

    • Oh, and I have no illusions about Sonja marrying for money. She did and so did Jill,Kelly and Luann. And if anny woman marries for money, she should be prepared to have her ass dumped sometime in the future. Their husbands knew they were marrying for money and the men married to get their trophy wife. When the wife gets old or a hot new interest comes along…….dump the old wife. Bobby did it to his first wife for Jill. Sonja’s ex did it and we all know about the Count dumping Luann’s ass for the young princess. Giles dumped Kelly and has moved on to Pablo Picasso’s granddaughter.

But, even when you marry for the wrong reasons, you can still develop feelings for the spouse. Especially when you have children together.

I get the feeling Jill’s clock is running low on her marriage to Bobby. It is only a matter of time before she is trade in for a younger model. Maybe that is why she accuses Mario of cheating………she fears it for her own relationship.

Most sad thing is some of these women are teaching their daughters to marry for the same reasons. Not love but money.

    • Rose Colored Glasses says:

What I feel is that Sonja wasn’t sharing an anecdote or interesting or enlightening story about her life (at least as edited and presented in the in the show)Repeatedly she has said she cooked for the Churchills. Crickets. Chirp, chirp. The toaster oven part … Chirp, chirp. Waiting… I bet everyone who ever cooked for them has used a blender, toaster or microwave. Their hired help has cooked for them.
That is why it seems like name dropping. There is no story. Just a boast, a blue blood name. She falls back on it as a crutch. She does not need to. Sonja is a Morgan. That is significant. She is funny and probably has good stories but may be choosing not to speak in deference to people who probably would value discretion. But what she has been shown doing is name dropping.
She has also tried to make the job she held when she met her husband sound exclusive by creating a more pretentious characterization. Unnecessary because she made it and is now a Morgan. Many of us like her for herself. Fortunately she does not beat the dead horse of titles like LdL. But I do characterize what she has been portrayed as doing as name dropping. I respect that you see it differently.

      • WindyCityWondering says:

Oddly enough, Sonja is a Morgan like Kelly is a Bensimon. And dropping names will always be tacky.

      • I see what you’re saying. Some of her namedropping I took as Sonja’s way to insult Cindy. A cloaked way of saying “Get off your high-horse bitch! I’ve dined and rubbed elbows with more imortant and powerful people than you. They where never as rude or self-important as you imagine yourself to be bitch!” kind of insult.

        • Chertin says:

IMO, much of her name-dropping is a branding attempt. Sonja needs cash, and her appearance on RHONY is about marketing herself as a saucy authority on (and embodiment of) UES luxury. She’s probably hoping to combine the “ooh, I dine w/the Churchhills” aura with sexiness and approachability and become a sort of ersatz Martha Stewart “lifestyle” expert. Some of her confessional clips have a calculated aspect to them, as though she is trying to create a memorable, marketable soundbite. (This is something she has in common with the other housewives).

          • Rose Colored Glasses says:

Point well taken. I stand by the advice on name dropping since both Martha Stewart and the LdL book franchise are examples of two ends of the spectrum on being off-putting by putting on airs. As OMIB has pointed out people buy products from people they like. A lot of name dropping becomes insufferable. OMIB I’m name dropping you :D.

            • Chertin says:

I agree with you. I think the name-dropping is largely branding, but I don’t think it’s being executed in a way that will actually benefit her “brand.”

            • OneMoreInBoston says:

well…I…I’m blushing! I didn’t know my name was worthy enough to be dropped

        • Indy501 says:

          Totally agree with you.

        • Indy501 says:

          Shadow,
I totally agree with you. Cindy needed to put in her place.

      • nathania says:

I think she wants to share her story, and talk about it.

the oddest thing of all of that is, Sonja is vulnerable. She’s real. Whoda thunk? Not me. She drops names but she also doesn’t put on airs. It is a very strange combination. She’s likeable. I can totally see how she got ripped off and ended up having to declare bankruptcy, apparently that even caused friction with her husband’s family, that she was ‘too trusting’. She actually does have something to market, her incredible life experience. And I would rather listen to that a thousand times than hear Discountess say “darling” ever again.

I watched the RHBH preview video snippet a few times. Did anyone else think the following:
    – I might might actually like Taylor alittle more s2 (epic dislike s1)
    – Adrienne and Paul might be hitting a rough patch (I hope not I really liked them)
    – Brandi is a total b**** (which pains me, I wanted to like her on principle because Leann Rimes stole her husband)
    – Kim and Kyle seem alittle more united
    – Lisa still fabulous (I love her)
It’s hard to predict based on 3o seconds but those were my impressions

It doesn’t make any of the women look good. Andy’s hatred of women is showing yet again. I am afraid those of us who were looking forward to something lighter and more fun will be disappointed once again. I am just looking forward to Bethenny’s show at this point. I think Housewives are done.

      • Kukulet says:

I’m thinking the same. Damn. After all the drama on NY, I was looking forward to light and fun. Guess Bethenny is the only one who gets it. (Tip to Andy: Most women don’t want to feel like they need a shower after watching each episode of Housewives.)

    • WindyCityWondering says:

The video left me thinking – the gloves come off, truths are told, fanbases will shift and misery will be the soup du jour. Two new wives, one with a connection to Cedric, but both will have to bring the drama or turn in the diamond orders. RHBH does it big and I will miss the simple days of beautiful homes, fabulous shoes and witty one liners. The only prediction I am willing to make is that IHJZ will be a lively place!

will be the soup du jour

Mich – I love your recap! Here are my responses

      – I might might actually like Taylor alittle more s2 (epic dislike s1)
Nope not me, she dug a big hole, but I will say this my dislike for Taylor is no where close or similar to my disgust for Jill, Luann, Cindy and Kelly

      – Adrienne and Paul might be hitting a rough patch (I hope not I really liked them)
Shit happens and this was bound to happen to them. I can’t wait to see how she handles it. But I too like them very much.

      – Brandi is a total b**** (which pains me, I wanted to like her on principle because Leann Rimes stole her husband)

I’m not sure I like Brandi, but I know for sure I hate Leann, so this will be interesting
Don’t you just want to tune in to see how I deal with this personal dilemma?

      – Kim and Kyle seem alittle more united
      About FFFFFing time!

      – Lisa still fabulous (I love her)
I’m thrilled she gets called out for being a crap stirrer both her and Taylor own that title. Again it will be very interesting to see how a LADY handles the situation. I’m sure she will not be trying to destroy anyone’s career.

  52. Gigi says:

    Hi all,

Have any of you heard of a dry drunk? I think Ms. Zarin rather fits this profile.

The dry drunk can be a precursor to the beginnings of relapse, the AA Big Book describes this condition as being “restless, irritable, and discontented”. This set of attitudes can apply to anyone who is chemically dependent, or even those were not. Here are some of the attitudes common with the dry drunk syndrome.

Grandiosity – Grandiosity basically means a return to a self-centered, ‘the world revolves around’ me attitude. In 12 Step literatures this is the concept of being “self-centered in the extreme”. It does not have to necessarily mean that I believe I am the best; it can also be seeking attention through playing the victim or sitting on the pity pot.

Impulsivity – A common attitude or observable behavior of people with addiction problems is poor impulse control. We tend to do what we want when we want, with little regard for self harm or hurting others around us. Impulsivity can be linked with grandiosity to engage in behaviors designed to make us the center of attention.

Being judgmental – This is a very destructive attitude for people in recovery. When we judge a person as being better than or less than, we are setting up a situation where we inflate our egos feeling better than other people. On the other hand if we judge ourselves to be on the short end we can feel bitter and generate low self-esteem. Being judgmental is a low self-esteem generator.

    • MAMAZ says:

      Thanks Gigi, that was interesting.
I have an aunt named Gigi. :)

    • nathania says:

I think someone posted on here she doesn’t do AA because it’s too christian (which is true in some areas, I have known people who have a problem with that.)

I think though that the concept ‘dry drunk’ is a bit outdated and needs to be discarded. People self-medicate and slide into addiction for many reasons and some of those are mental illnesses like bi-polar or personality disorders or things like PTSD. Those issues are what cause the syndrome of the ‘dry drunk’ which is people with unresolved chemical imbalances or untreated disorders, that the twelve steps *help* to treat, or help to alleviate by giving the person comping mechanisms to better deal with their underlying problem. However the twelve steps are no substitute for therapy and medication of chemical imbalances and these things must be addressed or the person may relapse or suicide; I don’t like the terminology ‘dry drunk’ because it seems to imply in AA terminology that AA can treat those issues and AA is absolutely unqualified to do so and not only that, but tends to remain in flight from accepting and validating the very real conditions and experiences of trauma in childhood that lead people to take flight into addiction in the first place. Inevitably what happens is that some people skate along on the surface for a while and then relapse. I have seen many other people who switch addictions, to self-harming such as eating disorders or exercise addictions, or to self and other destructive addictions such as sex addiction. The underlying trauma and chemical imbalances HAVE to be addressed, and almost since it’s inception AA has tended to throw digs at folks who wanted to do so by accusing them of ‘whining’ or has encouraged people to move past the trauma too quickly by insisting that forgiveness, equated with freedom from ‘resentment’ is the only way to heal from trauma (it isn’t.). Calling the core issue of forming a predisposition to addiction (child abuse) and the resulting symptoms and manifestations of personality later in life “dry drunk” is AA and the recovering community wayyyyyyyyyyy overstepping it’s territory and it’s about time they came into the 21st century.

      • Mlis says:

Are u in recovery? Have u ever worked the 12 steps? I believe it is irresponsible to put out such disparaging statements against AA as it could hinder someone from attending a meeting and getting the help they need.

After a lifetime of drugs and alcohol abuse (& years of therapy and mood disorder diagnoses and chemicals) and having grown up in an alcoholic & abusive home….AA is what finally sank in and saved me. It wasn’t the therapy…the drugs…it was letting go and dealing with my addictions one day at a time through the AA program. I would be dead if it weren’t for AA.

First…AA has come into the 21st century where “God” is concerned…they merely ask that you look for a higher power (it can be Mickey mouse of u want!!) and tell u that classical views of God aren’t needed. It’s possible there are meetings/groups that follow a more classical AA program, but it’s not hard to find one that doesnt. If one meeting doesn’t suit u? Try another one.

While I do agree that perhaps the big book needs to be updated at times (to include women more, etc)…I also understand, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!!”. The big book has been freeing men and women from addiction since the 1930’s! Now that isnt anything to balk at or minimize.

Also-AA isn’t so stringent as u are making it sound. I have been told many times that its my recovery so therefore my program to work as I see fit…if that were to still include therapy & or pills for a mood disorder then that would be just fine.

A dry-drunk is merely a state of mind…where the person has stopped using, but hasn’t worked on making the changes needed in their own lives to stop the behaviors that perhaps helped lead to the using in the first place. It isn’t a term dismissing the diagnosis of mood disorders and chemical imbalances.

The unity, love, support & guidance that AA offers far outweighs any old fashioned ideas (whether from the big book or an “old-timer” with decades of sobriety. One thing that can’t be denied of AA is that it works if you work it!!!! I watch miracles happen everyday!

Ok that’s it :) sorry, but I had to say something. I wouldn’t be sitting here typing this if it weren’t for the AA program. Thanks for listening…

  53. HOLD THE PRESSES!!! Jill is saying she might make up with Bethenny now? She said on reunion pt she was afraid of B.

    ANOTHER contradiction for Jillairpants.

    • Kukulet says:

Naw, I don’t buy what Jill is shilling now. Bethenny isn’t going to be close friends with Jill again. I’d bet money on that. Friendly and courteous, yes, but never allowing more than that. It’s not a matter of “making up”.

      B. has so moved on-she’s made that clear repeatedly. (And if she watched the first half of the reunion, she’s probably even more grateful that she has.)

      • WindyCityWondering says:

In S3 scenes after scary island and the reunion, Bethenny had “dead eyes” when Jill was invovled. Bethenny has had ample opportunities and available venues to address Jill and hasn’t said a word. Jill can continue to deny it – but Bethenny is done with her forever.
Jill saying there is “contact with Bethenny” is like saying Mario cheats, Ramona drinks too much and Kelly is fine – no proof, but she got the thought out there for speculation.

        • Rose Colored Glasses says:

Contact makes me think that JZ has tried and there have been intermediaries. Probably not in touch with Bethenny but a representative, manager, assistant or the CoC Julie which means Jill has been CoC blocked. Priceless!

          • Rose Colored Glasses says:

Too inside baseball? Or have I got Julie’s new title as given to her by Bethenny while on the speaking tour while goofing in the Skinny Girl bus wrong? Hey they can’t all be punny.

    • When I read Jill’s newsletter/blog and she claimed that she had been in “contact” with Bethenny, I assumed that she ran into Bethenny and she was cordial. Now I think that Jill is lying and I don’t think there has been any “contact” with Bethenny at all. She is doing damage control because she said that she was afraid of Bethenny and she is receiving backlash because of those comments. If Jill spoke to Bethenny, she would have run to the tabloids immediately and planted stories about them being friends again. This is another one of Jill’s stunts that will backfire on her.

      • Kukulet says:

That’s because her “I was so afraid of Bethenny” defense was the lamest lie she’s come up with yet. That’s the thing with Jill-her lies are so transparent because she doesn’t think them through, she just pops off with them. It’s her automatic first line of defense: lie and when the lie is revealed, lie more.

I still maintain that her “contact” with Bethenny was simply leaving a message on B’s voicemail. ;-)

        • Causing_A_Casino says:

Yeah- she was so afraid of Bethenny. Thats why all of last seasons scenes show Bethenny crying and Jill yelling- Bethenny trying to make up and Jill shutting her down/out. She is afraid of Bethenny….because Bethenny knows the truth

        • cdnfillie58 says:

I think that comment about always being afraid of Bethenny has come back to bite this jack hole in the butt…..if (and that’s a big IF) she’s been in contact with Bethenny it can only be via an email in which Bethenny ripped her a new one for attempting to jeopardize her business relationships ….. JZ is putting a spin on it as usual

    • Eastbayca says:

If Jill is so afraid of Bethenny, why is she desperate to be her friend?
Jill makes no sense at all, she needs to stop taking Kelly’s medication.

    • Need a Hobby says:

Jill periodically pulls the Bethenny card and hints at a rapprochement between them, but she does so entirely cynically and purely in an attempt to manipulate public opinion.

Jill knows damn well that Bethenny is hugely more popular than she (JZ) is. Jill thinks that if people think Bethenny likes her again, then that will moderate their loathing opinion of Jill. Jill thinks people will like her again if they think B likes her again. In this of course she is, as usual, wrong. First, Jill’s gone to that well too often before. 2nd, it’s a classically transparent JZ attempt at manipulation. 3rd, B’s busy with her own life and business, B doesn’t like or trust Jill, B’s hubby doesn’t like or trust Jill, Cookie would probably pee on Jill if not indeed actually attack her, B’s maybe a bit neurotic, but she’s not stupid, etc. Let us count the ways.

  54. RealHousewifeofAylesford says:

I hope part two of the dumb ass brunette show addresses Hairy Scary Cindy’s nasty “golden dick” comment during Sonja’s burlesque show. And Jill’s approving comments. Is it cyber-bullying if I say that Jill, Kelly and Cindy should jump off a bridge? I hope so.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

If they address the See you next Tuesday then they should address the golden one – but I don’t see that happening. IMO – the fix is in and Bravo allows the turdy ones the win.

      • mich_in_mich says:

ITA it seems they keep the minor league issues for part 1 and move up to the majors for part 2. I’m predicting the brunette’s smear campaign will include accusations about Ramona’s drinking, Ramona’s re-tweeting about LuAnn’s daughter, Mario’s cheating, Simon’s verbal abuse, Silex’s use of the “C” word, Hate blogs, mean tweeting, Monday will seem sweet and happy in comparison :(

      • Agreed. I found it just as offensive and rude. I can be honest and say I found myself more offended by that than the See you next Tuesday comment. Probably because hate Jill and Cindy. And, because I’ve seen Luann and Jill attack Alex and Simon for sooooooo long, I figured they where just feed up and at wits end. It was still crude but I could forgive them easier than I can Jill and Cindy.

        • WindyCityWondering says:

I think I would have been fine with just Alex and her class/see you next tuesday explanation. Simon’s letter rearranging was nasty and uncalled for – but that is just Simon failing to be witty..

          • BessiB says:

I got if from the way Simon answered a question that the fix IS in – he indicated that for whatever reason, Andy buys into the brunettes’ BS.

I think they are also just frustrated with all the Bravo BS themselves.

    • Chertin says:

Want a convenient test of which term is more offensive? Here’s a hint: when you type “golden dick” into wordpress, your comment isn’t blocked.

Cindy’s remark was at least mildly amusing (and would apply equally to both LuAnn and Sonja). “See you next Tuesday” and ” ‘o’ out of Countess” were just lame. First of all, the “Countess” misspelling occurred to most people in the first season. And it wasn’t delivered with any kind of comedic panache. That scene was basically just a flat, calculated excuse to portray Alex as discreetly wealthy and for Simon to call a woman a c*nt.

      • I wasn’t trying to debate which was more offensive……..they are both equally offensive in my opinion. It was my reaction that I was trying to honestly explain. I’m not saying it was right to be more offended by Jill and Cindy. I just was because of my own preceptions and feelings toward them verses Alex and Simon.

        • Chertin says:

Got it — that makes sense. I can feel where you are coming from on that, too, LOL.

          • RealHousewifeofAylesford says:

Totally agree – both comments were offensive. Simon should zip it and Alex be the focus. Love Alex, Simon gets on my nerves.

      • nathania says:

you need to remember that for the most part ALL scenes this season have been flat calculated excuses for something or the other and that the producers have edited them favorably or unfavorably depending on which cast member caught their whimsy at that particular moment. The editing of just about all of Alex’s scenes has been bordering on cruel, it does not take a rocket scientist to observe how contrived the editing has been with the Van Kempen, McCords. And Bravo spend two or three episodes on the craptastic parade of self-delusion known as Luann’s ‘music video’ (music used in very loose context….speaking condescendingly in bad french over a cheap-@ss keyboard riff put on a loop is more like it) as if any one gives a flying fig about Luann pretending she’s not dead broke, she should be called ‘The Discountess’ at this point.

        • Chertin says:

Oh, don’t get me wrong: I would never pretend the scenes re: LuAnn’s “music career” aren’t equally contrived.

      • Wicked says:

        The word fits Luanne! Period.

Lenny Bruce was right it is just a word. We give the word power. It’s just thrown around more now because the B word has lost it’s impact.

        • Chertin says:

I agree that it’s just a word, and I’m not saying it should be outlawed. But saying it is ugly and, coming from a man, sexist. Likewise, it shouldn’t be a crime to say the n-word, but usually the n-word is a coarse, terrible thing to say — especially if you’re white.

          • Pghemtchick says:

The c word IMO is no where near the level of hate and ugliness that any racial/ethnic slur is. While some use the c word as a vulgar slur, in some other countries it’s just a shock value word. It is abused in the states. Where ethnic slurs tend to spawn from hate, opression, and in some cases wars/relocations. Out of the two, ethnic slurs show a deeper hate IMO. While I think there were other words that Silex could have used, it’s a nonfactor compared to Jill dropping ethnic slurs on twitter under Ginger’s account.

            • Chertin says:

There are plenty of words that are unforgivable ethnics slurs in the USA but are acceptable in other cultures, too, and I don’t deny that “c*nt” would have a different meaning if used in another cultural context. I disagree that racial/ethnic oppression is “worse” (or reflects a “deeper hate”) than gender oppression — if you think the latter has never spawned widespread violence or genocide, you should try Googling a bit. South Africa was the last country to practice racial apartheid, but women are still treated like animals/property in many parts of the world.

Notwithstanding all this, I had no idea that Jill had used ethnic slurs on Twitter?

IMO, it is extremely offensive to use a dehumanizing epithet to degrade a member of any historically marginalized group. I would have reacted the same way to “f*ggot.”

    • Need a Hobby says:

Well it was ironic that the Beav addressed that remark to Jill “BJ” Zarin, of all people. I think it took a bit for JZ to figure out who the Beav was talking to/about.

Oh little Miss Beav, never underestimate the power of a Tiffany charge card combined with outstanding oral skills. ;)

  55. MISHIGA95 says:

I just read Naughty’s article, I love this part:

“‘Of the eleven people Bethenny follows on twitter, yes just eleven, the founder of the site is one,’ a Bravo source tells me. ‘Bethenny doesn’t support or follow anyone from Bravo, not even Andy Cohen, who cast her and made her rich and famous, yet she does follow a person who spills hate.’”

Um… Naughty? Clearly Bethenny has read this blog, whereas you haven’t gotten past it’s tongue-in-cheek name. Grow some wit!

Keep it up Lynn – all press is good press ;)

    • Gee, I wonder who the Bravo source was for Rob’s article. I see someone’s grubby little fingerprints.

    • Rose Colored Glasses says:

That phrase about Bravo making Bethenny has Jill’s distinctive fingerprints on it to me. No one should imagine that Bravo made Skinny Girl or Bethenny. If Bravo or Andy thought that they are channeling Jill. I know many were familiar with Bethenny from Martha Stewart’s Apprentice and neither Stewart nor Bravo made Bethenny.

      • WindyCityWondering says:

IIRC – Kelly said that Bravo made Bethenny successful. So it could be both of those nitwits.

      • Jezzibel says:

didn’t lulu try and claim credit for helping bethenny come up with SkinnyGirl Margaritas?? and yet she’s afraid of Bethenny….the bronzed wackadoodles crazy must be contagious.

    • nathania says:

anyone who claims to be a writer and touches this ‘hate blog’ story is going to end up regretting it because they will end up looking like idiots. It doesn’t hold water…Jill has the negative press she does for a reason, and the press of all people should be able to figure this out.

    • Need a Hobby says:

I guess it’s just very wrong of me to want to see an Andy Cohen and Rob Shooter staring contest.

I don’t believe for one NEW YORK minute that JZ is a recovering alcoholic…..
She looks to me to be a “closet” drinker…. Those few times you see her interacting and being “nice” are her sober moments… When she drinks the EVIL comes out….
I’ve lived in a close knit neighborhood with closet drinking women….. they all act like JZ and have hubbys like BWAABBBIE to protect them….Her deflection to Ramona is a typical move….
After both reunions are said and done she will come forward and confess all and BEG us to forgive her………. if you look real close at her you may see what I do…..

    Great blog Lynn.
Found a poll at http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/real-housewives-new-york-who-215699 asking which housewife should be shown the door.
Cindy is leading closely by Jill.

    • I voted Jill. She is the real poison to the show. She is the instigator, manipulater, and shit stirrer to ALL the conflicts and fights between women on the show. She is the common denominator in all the fights, rumors and pettiness. All of it tracks back to her. Get ride of the toxic element (Jill) of the show and maybe we will get back the show we once loved.

      • Chertin says:

Would you want to watch the show without conflicts, rumors and pettiness, though? What would be left? Presumably just hawking of products.

        • Yes. I still think there would be conflict. But I would like to see more of Ramona and Sonja’s relationship, Alex and Simon’s family life and business adventures, Luann pulling the stick out of her ass (Simon and Alex said she was fun when she took off the “Countess” mask & Sonja likes her) and letting go of the prentention. Cindy and Kelly would both fade to the non-entities they are and could be replaced by more vibrant personalities. I do think the show could be revitalized once the toxic Jill Zarin was removed.

          • Chertin says:

I would hate Jill IRL, but I like having her on the show for a couple of reasons. First, her observations about the other wives are, usually, accurate. I think this is part of how Jill and Bethenny became friends in the first place — they make similarly sharp assessments of people. Bethenny was better at it, but among the current cast, Jill easily surpasses the others. Alex is capable of insight, too, but she’s usually too awkward and affected to voice it in a satisfying way. Bethenny was able to serve as our “Greek chorus” because she had Alex’s IQ and Jill’s social intuition and facility for “sass.”

Second, find me a successful reality show without a sh*t-stirrer. The Sonja/Ramona relationship is cute to watch in concrete doses, but could you construct a plot around it that would sustain several episodes? Where would you find tension, climax, resolution? Cindy I completely agree should go. I also find Kelly incredibly non-compelling, but part of me would keep her around out of curiosity re: future neuro-chemical fluctuations. LuAnn is interesting primarily *because* of the stick up her ass — watching her struggle with it makes for good TV.

            • I don’t think Jill is very accurate in her assessments of the other women. She’s so caught up is placing blame for things she did that it colors her thinking. Bethenny was probably the best, followed by Ramona who may not be tactful but she usually right in what she says about the others.

What made the first season or two of this show “must-see TV’ for me was the chance to be (as someone here put it) a fly on the wall and just watch these women as they went about their days. Some of their values were the same as mine and some were quite different but I enjoyed the vicarious shopping, fashion shows and parties at each others houses. Now the whole show is just one long harangue and its not fun to watch.

            • AZ Girl says:

I don’t think Jill is correct in any of her assessments of the other HW’s for one reason alone. If the HW does not meet her needs and follows Jill like sheep then that HW has a target on her back for Jill to fire malicious lies about. Think about it. Exhibit “A” Bethenny.
Ramona, Alex and Sonja don’t bow down to Jill and cry with her in a limo holding a stupid Koala Clip. You can be a shit stirrer and still not be malicious in the press outside of the show. Exhibit “B” Jill.

              • Chertin says:

I’m definitely not saying her STATEMENTS about the other women are always accurate — Jill clearly gossips and lies. But I think she is good at intuiting where people are coming from, what their strengths and weaknesses are, and how to get under their skin. And some of her confessional remarks, while catty, are spot-on. KCSCougar’s videos capture this well, I think — I especially like the series where Jill’s wearing a Hannibal Lecter mask.

            • Scorpiosue1102 says:

I don’t find Jill accurate at all in any shape or form. She acts like Kelly is fine, even though she clearly is not. She thinks she knows what buttons to push with Ramona, but Ramona stays calm or gives it back even better. I think she hates Alex so much because Alex won’t dumb herself down to be one of Jill’s minions. I guarantee that if Alex agreed with everything Jill said they’d be BFF’s.

        • AZ Girl says:

Now THIS sounds like Jill. Jill believes that the purpose of being on HWONY is to talk behind each other’s back. That was not the premise of the show in Season 1 nor now. It was to follow wealthy (supposedly) women of NY in the day to day lifestyle. Not the animal hunt for your fellow housewife that Jill has made the show in Season 3 and 4.

    • mich_in_mich says:

Great link! I voted for Jill. BTW there’s a link on that site to a hamptons preview party. When I was scrolling through the pics there was a nice one of Bethenny :) but none of Jill, LuLu, or Kelly!

Sorry, but anyone who would rather get rid of weird Alex before escorted off of set because too unstable and poses a threat to her castmates Kelly, needs serious psychiatric help themselves.

  58. Chattycat says:

I just read the article by Rob Schuter. It almost seemed as if he was blaming this blog for the hatred between the housewives. That is totally unfair and wrong! This blog has done nothing but repeat what is being said and done on the show. These housewives (especially Jill Zarin) have no one to blame for the route this drama has taken. It was the housewives who built it and due to the bitterness and anger of a bitch like Jill Zarin, the wannabe snob LuAnn and the kookier than kookie Kel-Kel are destroying it even faster than they built it. As I watched the Reunion on television the other night, I kept asking one question (to myself): Where oh where can they possibly go from here? The only thing left that could destroy the show anymore is to roll around on the ground fistfighting. Now, where drama is one thing and snarking about each other is another, the hatred and the insults and the name calling that came out of that reunion Monday night wasn’t drama or snarking, it was downright viciousness and cruelty and it was hellacious watching it, and it is not something I would like to ever again see. It felt like the scary island episode where it was just too ugly to watch. Where do they go from here? How can they possibly forgive, forget and move on? Jill Zarin is out to destroy Ramona and Alex and Simon, and she will stop at nothing until she has completely destroyed these people by whatever means she thinks it will take. Just look at how she has tried to destroy a blogger who has dared to write things on a blog that Jill doesn’t like? I have a new found admiration for Lynn for standing up for the freedom of the press and for standing up for what she believes no matter how visciously Jill comes after her. Jill Zarin has become a dangerous person, and those who are her enemies had better not turn their backs. But what I am trying to say is that this “television realty show” has become nothing more than one woman and her three sidekicks trying to destroy both the personal lives and their careers of three women and one man and it is now just too ugly to watch…not to mention what she has in mind for the author of this blog. My vote is to get rid of the brunettes (the bitter and viscious ones) and start fresh with the blondes. If Bravo feels that they are not strong enough to take on Jill, then clean house totally and either start with a new set of housewives or move to another city. And the answer to my question of, “Where do they go from here?” is, “THEY CAN’T.”

Once again, Lynn, I have the greatest admiration for weathering the storm called “Jill Zarin” that you have with the class (oops, sorry Alex LOL) and civility which you have. I don’t know if I would have held up as you have, but you always have my support.

    You go girl!!!!

    • This blog can not be held responsible for their behaviors. They are accountable for their own actions. It is as lame as Jill trying to blame Ramona and Alex for her freindship with Bethanny ending. It doesn’t hold water.
What this blog does is hold them accountable and expose their actions. They can chose to learn from it or not. It is a measuing stick on what the fans are feeling and reacting to. They can chose to embrace the critics and change or they can continue in their nastiness. They are the only ones who can own their behavior and choices.

We don’t spread hate. We expose hateful behavior and call them to task for it. This is one of many, many blogs about the housewives. Yes, we have many voices shared here and that gives us some power. But, the housewives can chose to ignore us like some do. Or they can try to shut Lynn, this blog and us up and down. We won’t let that happen.
They can also embrace us. They can take the positive and use it, learn or brush off the negative or laugh at the fun of it all.
Truth will win out in the end.

      wow- awesome post

    • nathania says:

That article was twisted and I really can’t believe it was on HuffPo, that is a political site and the housewives have NOTHING on politics when it comes to dirty, most of them are set financially and don’t even have the motivation but I will say that Jill Zarin is Rovian and if I found out Karl Rove was working for her it wouldn’t surprise me. “Hate blog” is a meme and they are trying to get it out into the media and have it repeated over and over and over again by people who only have limited knowledge of the topic so that it becomes accepted as fact because *other* people think it is true and as Phaedra would say, ‘everybody knows’…this is a political dirty trick probably dreamed up by a publicist because it’s been said people only have to hear something said about eleven or twelve times to accept it as fact, There is no doubt in my mind Jill is a sociopath because she has an incredible internal compass for how to manipulate the differing levels of familiarity that groups of the public have with her to her advantage…spreading her memes and message around to the outer fringes of folks who don’t care and don’t watch the show so when it comes up all they know about it is of ‘Jill Zarin, the victim, bullied on the internet’ and then on a whole other level pulling back from attacking Alex during the season on camera because she knows that people who are familiar with the show find that offensive and it doesn’t bode well for her in the long run. Her attacks on Alex at the reunion pretty much have convinced me that she knows the jig is up for the Housewives and she has absolutely nothing to lose by showing her true colors. In fact she probably has paid informants on the staff of the Housewives because everyone has a price and she and Bawby love to throw money around.

I agree and have noticed the political dirty tricks style strategy and think that Jill is able to utilize it effectively. Increasingly transparent though. Possibly a part of Andy admires it.

  59. I am positive that Bethenny has an eating disorder. Usually most borderline personalities have issues with body image. I suspect she will pass this along to her daughter who has a long road ahead of her with a mother like that.

    • Amy Matheson says:

I think most celebrities are body obsessed.

I think Bryn is well loved and is told that often by both of her parents. That message (or lack of it) is what translates into whether a child feels good or bad about herself and any disorders that ensue.

    • OneMoreInBoston says:

oh you crazy West Side Dude- we told you to come back as yourself- you don’t have to hide behind Michelle Obama’s picture anymore

    • What evidence do you have of that? Bethanny has been thin most of her life. Yes, like
99% of all women she is body conscientious. That doen’t have to be a bad thing. Not if she makes healthy choices. She seems to be a very loving mother and IMO she will do all she can to promote a healthy self image for her daughter. Your statement strikes me as out of the blue and I wonder about it’s motive.

      • Chertin says:

I am a stalwart Bethanny fan, but she almost certainly has a low-grade eating disorder: not the kind where you dwindle to 65 lbs, but the kind where you obsess 24/7 and, yes, probably pass the same obsession on to your daughters. If you are a female public figure who is highly motivated, “type-A” and has even a slight capacity for neurosis, this is pretty much guaranteed.

        • I’m not her doctor or her psychiatrist so I get uncomfortable with anyone diagnosing by what we are shown from her public life. It is one thing to sepculate but but all together different to diagnose. My son is a doctor and would never assume to do that without actually seeing and talking to the person. Giving an opinion is different. Sorry, I’m uncomfortable with this.

          • Chertin says:

I’m certainly not purporting to make a medically sound diagnosis. Sure, doctors aren’t supposed to draw definitive medical conclusions — and lawyers aren’t supposed to give legal advice — based on these sorts of inferences re: celebrities they’ve never met. Yet, internet commenters are comfortable speculating about the legal particularities of Sonja’s bankruptcy — so why not the medical particularities of Bethanny’s vaunted “skinnygirl” lifestyle, evident plastic surgery and complete absence of body fat? It’s not like having a mild eating disorder is a bad thing. I mean, sure, it’s a regrettable thing, but it’s a worthwhile tradeoff for many female celebrities. Comes with the territory, like knee injuries for football players. (And btw, if we were watching a football game and you saw someone stumble and speculated: “maybe he has [x common knee injury]“, I’m sure no one would be Uncomfortable with this “diagnosis.”)

        • Amy Matheson says:

I think we should wait for a qualified opinion on Bethenny’s health from someone who not only a doctor, but also an accountant/financial advisor, dentist, music producer, connector and video director. And shapewear designer.

Unless such a person diagnoses her, I shall never believe it.

          lol

        • Kukulet says:

“Almost certainly”? Now, does she come to your office for therapy, or do you go to her house?

          • Chertin says:

Don’t have to be her therapist to be almost-certain. I mean, if I *were* her therapist, surely I could *actually* be certain!

            • Amy Matheson says:

You can speculate, but “almost” as a qualifier to “certain” just means that you (as in everyone, not just specifically you) are not certain.

              • Chertin says:

Of course. That’s why I included it.

                • Amy Matheson says:

Ok, thanks for playing. You’re not certain Bethenny has an eating disorder. We agree.

                  • Chertin says:

Nope — just “almost certain,” per my initial post.

                    • Amy Matheson says:

Almost certain means nothing more than you don’t know This is boring. But welcome anyway

                    • Chertin says:

                      >”Almost certain means nothing more than you don’t know”

Since you decided to pick a fight with me and instigate what I agree has been a trite and boring back-and-forth, I’d just like to point out that you’re wrong, here. “Almost certain” indicates a very high degree of confidence. It’s enough, for example, for a jury to decide a civil (but not a criminal) case. I can’t know for sure whether astrology is a valid science, but I’m almost certain it’s not, and I’d behave very differently if I were almost certain that the movement of the stars determined my ideal love match. Saying that you “don’t know” whether someone has an eating disorder is a fairly neutral statement; saying that you’re “almost certain” she does casts things in a very different light. The two are logically consistent but are far from synonymous.

But having cleared that up, I agree this is not a line of convo worth pursuing. And since you’ve bid me welcome — thanks :)

    • Dawn says:

Yes, because it would be so terrible to be told all day, every day that you’re loved and to have a mother who overcame an eating disorder and would be equipped to recognize those tendencies in her daughter and to know when and how to properly address an issue.

I would hate that wouldn’t you?

Much better to have a mother who suffered from food issues that is critical of you and and sends you to fat camp and talks about squeezing your fat ass into a dress!

      No pity here for Brynn!

Really? I was betting on intestinal parasites.

It’s surprisingly more frequent than one might otherwise expect. You know, improperly cooked food, eating out in restaurants where who knows whatever what (or who) one is really ingesting…

Take that Luann.

The “I knew Churchill and he wouldn’t say that that to me” crap just makes her look pathetic. It says more about her than it does about the person she is chastising.

Am I the only person who *only* has an extremely visceral reaction the the Real Housewives of New York? I sort of watch Orange County and I watch New Jersey, but neither of these shows makes my blood boil the way New York does.

Real Housewives of New Jersey certainly brings the drama, but it’s got a lot of funny, light-hearted moments interspersed between the cat-fights and the table flipping. The O.C. women are so vapid and ridiculous, it’s hard to even care one way or the other about them. But New York – I want to throw the remote control at my television every time I watch the show, at least for the past two seasons. I want to say my strong reactions RHONY are due to the whole “mean girl” clique thing being the main focus of the show, but I think “mean girl” is a theme that runs throughout all of the Housewives shows…

    • AF says:

      Um…please excuse the double “only”. I didn’t self-edit.

    • Causing_A_Casino says:

Ny makes you crazy because you see one person’s ego being allowed to destroy something that was once pleasurable. Jill is just allowed to get away with it and she will not be happy until it’s rubble.
Oh- and Tamara is well on her way to becoming the next JillZarin

    • Kukulet says:

I think you are right that “mean girl” runs through all the HW shows, but the biggest buzzkill on NY is the real hatred these women display toward each other. They hang onto the pettiest crap, beat it to death, and then revive it and beat it some more. It’s boooring.

I don’t necessarily agree that the HW’s need drama-at least not to the extent that they now do The first two years of OC didn’t have that much drama or catfighting-and those were the seasons that launched the franchise.

I had more fun this season of NY watching Sonja and Ramona get up to lighthearted hijinks. I enjoyed watching Bethenny build her business on both HW and BEA, and juggle career and family. It doesn’t have to have overwhelming drama and nastiness to be good.

I agree about sonja and ramona. alex and simon are fun and funny and quirky too, they totally belong on a show about new york since they are so alternative and intellectual. what made me quit watching was the doom and gloom crowd on the right side of andy. they are the most miserable people I have ever seen. they hate, resent, and envy every bit of happiness everyone else might have and seek to destroy it.

what’s funny to me is that that couch is a cautionary tale of what happens to high school mean girls if they do not do some serious self-examination. everything just rolls along fine, and they roll along fine (right over anyone in their path) until they are in their forties and lo and behold they find they are F*CKING MISERABLE HUMAN BEINGS and they don’t know where they went wrong or how to fix it, so they just search out and destroy any happiness they find in anyone else. Jill is a roiling, boiling pit of self-loathing and cluster B disorders, Luann is the sociopathic prom queen watching the mirror in horror as her face melts, Kelly is the party girl with the malfunctioning brain cells now that the substance use has caught up with her after all these years, a fact that is obvious to everyone else alive except her, and Cindy is Howie’s remote controlled walking infomercial (installing a personality would have cost extra).

I mean, what is the point of subjecting oneself to that. The reunion is easier to watch because at least much of it is spontaneous. Andy and the producers are probably some of the most jaded people working in television and if they don’t get some sense the whole housewives franchise is going to go up in smoke. I just saw a preview of Beverly Hills and it looks like as much of a train wreck as New York was. When I try to think of anyone or any group who might be as jaded and misogynistic as Cohen and company the only thing I can compare it to is the cast of Howard Stern’s show. Cohen and his crew are objectifying these women just like Stern does, although in a different way, that’s why
they can’t differentiate between the good (blondes) and the evil (brunettes) or detect moral vs. immoral. It’s EXACTLY the same as putting drunken strippers in bikinis and having them fight in jello, except these men want to see their ladies fight in couture in their middle age, so they can bet on the outcome. They have about as the same amount of morality and compassion as dog fighters.

I think that unlike the OC women the NY women are quite intelligent and have the potential for classy behavior (well maybe not Kelly or Cindy respectively). The women on this blog are, from what I can tell, classy and intelligent. Therefore, we don’t understand the reason for their behavior and keep trying to make sense of it.

OC women on the other hand never had the potential of intelligence or class. They are kind of like watching monkeys at the zoo. Entertaining in their monkey way.

Daily marketing tip for Jill Zarin.

Since, I offered Jill my name for her and Bobby’s new cologne free of charge (it’s BJ by the way) I thought I would do the same for her shapewear line. We all know she loves a good bargain – nuthins as good as free is, right? Am I right, Jill?

So here you go… “Everyone needs to sqweeze their fat ass.” (Best of all that is a direct quote from you while your daughter was trying on clothes! Sweet!)

It’ll sell like gangbusters. If gangbusters means zero. Best of luck Jillzy.

  66. AZ Girl says:

Jill tweeted thanking all the WONDERFUL posts on her blog. What??? Jill you pay people to keep you happy and make sure that none of those negative, truthful, angry comments come into your universe. Your blog is NOT the real world. Its Jill’s secret, happy, society for a narccistic crazy person like you. I tried posting a comment and it never appeared. What a F***king surprise.

  67. Getting off the blog for awhile. Getting the feeling that everytime I share a comment or opinion, a certain someone has to give a counter opinion or negative remark about it. It is their right and I can respect differences of opinion. But, it is beginning to strike a nerve with me and cross a line for me. Have fun blogging all.

    • Golden Girl says:

Don’t go shadowsnomore just post your opinion and don’t read the replies for a while.

    • AZ Girl says:

Shadow….take a few minutes for a break. Now that we are back here there are going to be some subtle post that will get on your nerves. Happens all the time. You bring a lot to the blog and we all enjoy your posts.

    • AZ Girl says:

I have gone back through the day and this is someone new to the blog. I am not sure what the agenda is because they are all over the place on everyone’s posting. Trust me. Golden Girl is correct. Ignore the replies.

    • Rose Colored Glasses says:

Shadows I really appreciate your comments. Hope you hang in there.

    • Kats2 says:

CRAP now I have to go figure out who is doing this to you?

Don’t do the “i’m taking my ball and bat home game” call out the person we will support you. No drama exits. Call the crap out AND NEVER on blogs or in life let anyone make you leave anything.

      • It’s probably not intentional but some comments and remarks struck a nerve for me. Like I said, everyone has a right to voice their opinion wether I agree or not. I’m a big girl can can usually take it.
I have never been comfortable with anyone diagnosing the housewives medical or mental problems. I have no problem with voicing your opinion, speculating or sharing a life experience to give prespective. Most of the time I skip over the discussions I am uncomfortable with.
I won’t diagnose Jill as an alcoholic because I’m not qualified to make that call. I will voice my feelings on her behavior.
I have never commented on Alex’s children and if they have ADD or autism. I have no authority to do so.
I won’t diagnose Kelly with any mental health proclamition. I will speculate that her behavior and actions lead me to believe she does have issues either mentally, with drugs and/or alcohol or a combination of all. I don’t know if she is bi-polar. I’m not a doctor. I have my own issues and life experiences with all so I can share an opinion but not diagnose.
I don’t discuss politics because it can become too volitale. Trust me when I say –
You can be Christian, a fiscal conservative, Republican and still fight and belive in Gay and Lesbian rights and support some but not all social issues.
I don’t like sterotypes because most are never accurate and there are always exceptions to what people generalize as fact.
Trying not to go off on a tangent here. I just expect respect even if you totally disagree with me.
I just need a break for a few hours. Thanks.

        • Amy Matheson says:

I actually TOTALLY agreed with you about no one (other than the supremely qualified Jill) being qualified to say if Bethenny has an eating disorder, for what it’s worth. Come back soon.

        • klmh says:

Im confused. You are unhappy with a poster(s) because you don’t want them to speculate on why or what might be affecting some housewives erratic and questioning behavior. Really. So you come to the blog and post your complaint about them. They are bothering you,” striking a nerve” and “crossing a line” for you. Would it not have been more prudent to take your break for a few hours and come back with a better mindset?
I find your post self-righteous and controlling. It actually makes me angry. There are those of us here that have life experiences that can relate to certain people, situations and actions. I may not have PHD in Psychiatry, but it is interesting, for me at least, to learn and read about not only other posters personal experiences about a topic, but the stories behind them.
I am sorry you feel persecuted. I don’t want to cause you any more stress than you apparently are in now, but know that there are those of us here that enjoy reading other posters opinions, experiences and possible solutions, on different topics, other than
          simply calling people names.

          • AZ Girl says:

Klmh you need to go back and see the posts and the exchange.

            • klmh says:

I read her first post and wasn’t going to respond. It was her second post that did it for me.
I knew I was going to get some heat for this, but I am not one to sit back and be told what not to post because it might get on someone’s nerve.

          • AZ Girl says:

I don’t think Shadow is being controlling at all. I think that there are subtle posts that appeared today that are first “all over the place” and second “a little passive aggressive”. There is no cohesiveness to the posts. It is confusing.

            • klmh says:

You see? Thats great. You gave your opinion of her post. You didn’t single someone out because an anonymous post offends you.
I have not had a chance to read the posts above, so there could be some validity to your statement though. I will go and read it now.

            • Chertin says:

When you say the posts are passive aggressive, non-cohesive and confusing, can you elaborate on what you mean?

              • AZ Girl says:

Very simple. You first claim to be a huge Bethenny fan and then go on to claim that Bethenny has an eating disorder and back it up with a long post explaining why. Then you claim to hate Jill but continue to post how Jill has such a “good assessment: of all the other housewives personalities. I was confused by your posts.

            • klmh says:

I noticed a few posts that I guess might have caused her some grief, but she gave as well as she got, imo.
I’ve been there and done that. Get it out, leave it behind. Don’t try to find validity or sympathy in your decision to take a few hours off. To me this is passive aggressive on her part. Defend yourself if you want to, otherwise take some time off.

        • AZ Girl says:

I totally agree. I struck a nerve months ago here about everyone analysis of Bethenny’s relationship with her mother. It bothered me because none of us really know what went down. All we know is what we have been privy to by Bethenny in her book and interviews. Discussing like we were all there in the room was not to my liking.
So it happens and it is all cool. Don’t worry.

Jill is always ragging about how her HWs friends aren’t really friends to her. When she hears gossip about one of her “friends”, she feeds off it and wants more, more, more… A real friend would end it, stop the conversation and politely ask that the person not to discuss it any more. I can’t remember the topic, but at some point in the reunion, someone started talking about a subject Jill knew nothing about and she just started asking more questions. Like her first meeting with Cindy, she couldn’t wait to find out who the father was, how she had her twins, etc. I don’t get how anyone can trust her, ever.

  69. PJ says:

I’m done with RHNY I can’t stand the pure vile hatred coming from the brunette side of the isle. I just have to ask why are the brunettes ganging up on Alex? If she is irrelevant as they would like everyone to think she is then why go after her? There can be only one reason for the brunettes to go after Alex, they must fear her. I’m not sure why perhaps it’s because while people don’t generally like the brunettes a lot of people do like Alex. I mean that was an organized gang up that we saw on Monday night.

Another problem I have with this show is that it’s been hijacked so it really doesn’t matter what viewers think and who viewers want to see on the show or don’t want to see on the show. The hijackers are being allowed to get away with the hijacking. I refuse to be forced to watch disdainful people spread their mean vileness every week. Don’t kid yourself the same contempt they show for one another they also have to have for viewers. Did anyone catch the way the Loo spoke to a viewer who called in on WWHL? I thought it was disgusting…….”I’m waiting.”

Then there is JZ trying to tell everyone that Darin’s email to Ramona could have been interpreted another way. Oh good grief does she think we’re all idiots. Since you can’t discern a persons voice in an email you have to say what you mean not imply, Darin asked Ramona if she was bringing wine……..give us a break.

Why does this show have to be ugly drama all the time? A little drama along with a little fun and you would have a show worth watching. But Kells, the Loo, JZ and what’s her name are NO FUN! I’m done.

  70. WALLETSNIFFERJILLZARiN says:

Okay I am so fed up with the housewives this season and will never watch NY again if they don’t do a cast change.

    *****************************************************************************************************************
I am sure you will not post this because I am sure Jill has gotten on her knees many times in order to control this board.
Jill you are the devil in disguise. You are a vile/disguting human being and if Bawby knew any better he would run in the other direction and quick.
What have you done in your life Jill except judge everyone else. From Alex to Amazongate. You constantly deny anything that you have said and will never own up to your behavior. Last season you tried to pull the eyes over the viewers by thinking we are stupid. What you did to Bethenney was absolutely vile/manipulative andridiculous and thank goodness Bethenney found out what a toxic bitch you really are. So this year you have jumped on the luman, and coo coo kelly train. Wow what a great bunch of friends. Hope you curtsey every time the Countess (which by the way she will never marry because she doesn’t want to lose her title)is near you because if not that will not be classy. Kelly the nicest person. vomit. How in the hell do you know what the hell she is saying when she cannot put 2 words together or understand them. She is beyond a psychopath she needs true help. By the way Jill they would jump ship as soon as someone bettere comes along . You continually think that everything you do is the best. Your book was stupid, your girdles are stupid and your bedding is absolutely stupid just like you and whatever crap is on its way. In order to be a businesswoman you have to learn how to work which you couldn’t put in 30 mins much less a 9 to 5 job. That is why you have Mags and whoever your minions are do your work. Take a good look at yourself because you are nothing and after your 15 mins of fame is up honey no one will remember you because you are stupid.

Brandi, a friend of Adrienne Maloof, is no stranger to dramapades – the longtime model became a tabloid fixture after her husband Eddie Cibrian left her for his now-wife LeAnn Rimes. Oh yeah, and she’s buddies with Cedric. Yipes. (Learn more about Brandi in her Bravo bio video.)

The other newbie friend of the ‘Wives, Dana Wilkey, is the party planning brains behind that lavish tea party Taylor threw for Kennedy’s fourth birthday. If Jill Zarin wants to blame someone else other than herself for the loss of her friendship with Bethenny… she should blame Lulu for interrupting their talk at Ramona’s. Of course JZ has a very selective memory and wants to cry that it was Ramona and Alex’s fault in St. John’s; She forgets that there were cameras when Bethenny called Jill while the countless was there and Jill said “You know what Bethenny? WE ARE DONE!” and then she said to Lulu: “She doesn’t deserve to be in the same room with me!” Even Lulu got scared with that comment! Why she wants to bring back the past season and pin into Ramona something that does not belong to what we saw in this season, GO away from my TV Jill Zarin! New Season Bravo PUT THERE REAL FRIENDS! If they distain Alex what do they think about you? You can defend all you want but you are defending people who most likely wouldn’t give you the time of day if they didn’t have to. If you haven’t met these ladies and aren’t on their payroll then why do you care to spend your energy defending them? I haven’t read all of today’s comments (though I did note the invasion of flying monkeys!). I’m too busy chasing around a new puppy. But I do want to share something I’ve been thinking about all day regarding the reunion:

Why, after seeing themselves act like that on TV, would ANY of them want to return to RHNY next season? If it were me, I’d be so embarrassed I’d want to hide under a rock for a while. (Of course, there’s no way I’d act like that in the first place — but still!) And the blondes, all of them, should never again put themselves in such bad company. They only risk dragging themselves down by associating with the brunettes.

So if any of the blondes are reading this — you don’t need Bravo’s money that badly! Walk away from it, and find other ways to build your businesses. You’ll come out better in the long run. (Deals with the Devil never turn out well!)

What a great name! Oh I wish I could get a dog. Hubby says “no”. We are going to be traveling too much…right we have been no where in 3 years and 2 kids in college. HA!

          • Sam says:

My hubby wasn’t too keen us getting a third dog either, because he wants us to start traveling. So in exchange for the dog I agreed to get into camping, which is something he’s always wanted to do (like he did as a kid) but I’ve refused to do. However, I added the condition that we had to get a travel trailer — no tent for me! — and we have to take the dogs with us wherever we go. He said yes to that, which surprised me until I realized there’s no TV in a travel trailer. (He’d rather vacation with dogs than share a motel room with me when a Housewives show is on!)

              • Sam says:

Oh, and I forgot to mention — I’m also relieved to hear I can get TV in a campground, but don’t tell my husband this until AFTER we buy our travel trailer!

Most camp grounds I’ve been to have wi-fi now! Take a laptop! Also, I’m not sure what kind of travel trailer you have or are getting, but it’s easy to equip one with a TV. There are nice small Digital HD LCD flat screens with remote control now. I’ve seen quite a few for well under $100.00. Many have internal rechargeable batteries. Ours is 3 way power. 110v, 12v or internal battery. The internal battery lasts about 8-10 hours. We always keep one on hand for hurricane updates. Boxed it is about the size of a medium sized book. I use earbuds with it, so Hubs doesn’t have to listen to what I am watching. It’s part of our bug out bag supply. I found ours at a drug store, after the conversion to digital TV. The camp grounds that hubs and I go to all have cable hook ups right next to the water and electrical connection. You may want to pick up an omni-directional amplified digital television antenna if you’re going to be travelling on the “road less graveled”. This system can be adapted for tent camping as well.

              • FLG says:

Error beat me to it! Error, you’re quick with the keyboard! I’d love to have an Airstream! Just doesn’t get much better than that! I love the design of them…..timeless and always in fashion!

              • Sam says:

Thanks, FLG! I appreciate your giving me this info! I’ve made a note of what you’ve said so I’ll know what to get TV-wise once we have our trailer (and once I can talk my husband into putting a TV in it!). I’m not sure yet what kind of trailer we’re going to get (we just started shopping), but I’ll mention it here once we figure it out.

AZ Girl. You need a dog. My hubby said no and I said yes and he LOVES both of our dogs. They are the best thing that ever happened to me right behind my hubby and my grown and gone kids. We take them when we travel if at all possible. If not, we have relatives who will look after them. Or in a pinch, I would trust my vet to board them (but they sure wouldn’t like it).

    • WindyCityWondering says:

We need the 411 on the new puppy!

      • Sam says:

Okay, so here’s the full scoop: I already had two Boston terriers, both girls, one age 10 and one turning four, and in a moment of insanity I decided I wanted a little boy puppy. So I got Boris, now 10 weeks, and he is such a handful! He has soooo much more energy than my girls did at this age and doesn’t sleep as much as they did. (Although he does sleep straight through the night — just doesn’t nap much during the day.) But he’s also a really good boy; he tries so hard to do the right thing, and when he doesn’t you can tell it upsets him. (Like with chewing on things. He’s having a hard time understanding why it’s okay to chew on his bone, for example, but not on a table leg. They’re both hard, right?)

Anyway, at least he’s potty trained (for the most part) and doesn’t chase the cats, and throughout the day he’ll often stop playing and look up at me with big, goofy eyes that clearly say, “I think you’re the most wonderful creature on the planet!” So I love him to pieces — even though I wish he’d nap more!

        • Chertin says:

This may seem presumptuous as I have never posted here before, but I would like to see a pic of your puppy immediately. Thx.

          • Sam says:

LOL! Well, if I knew how to post a picture, I’d definitely show you one. But I’m such an idiot when it comes to technology that I can’t even figure out how to get my photos off my digital camera and into my computer. (My son has been promising to teach me how to do this — for the past two years!)

            • Chertin says:

It’s okay…I am a sucker for adorable puppy pictures so I figured it couldn’t hurt to ask! Congrats on the new addition to your family.

            • Thedesigndiva says:

Sam..take the camera to walgreens or someplace like that…you can burn a CD with the photos and then come home and install them on your computer in a folder that you would name….Then each pic has a number and I believe you can then just either email the pic to Lynn and she will post in for you on her wall …..????
Make sure AFTER you burn the CD you have the photos on the card deleted so you can then start all over…..
              Diva

              • Sam says:

Thanks for telling me this! I don’t have a Walgreens in my town but I’ll look into what other places might have this — and I’ll try to get brave enough to take my camera there! (I’m really intimidated by this kind of stuff. I’m such a techno-idiot!)

          • NJBev says:

            I am already
            in love with
            Boris.

            • Sam says:

              Hey, thanks for saying this!

He just had a very busy pre-bedtime play session, and now he’s zonked out next to me — which is good because I wanted to watch a couple of BBC’s reruns of “The Tudors” without interruption. I’ve seen these episodes before but I never get tired of watching them.

        • Trudie says:

Our 12 year old chocolate lab died last year and we all longed for a new puppy, but my husband was out of work. The day he accepted his job offer, we immediately drove to a shelter and adopted a 10 week old black lab. Great idea, love him to death, but completely forgot how much energy puppies have. Of course, I was 12 years younger with the last puppy!

          • Sam says:

I love that you got your puppy from a shelter! I couldn’t do that with mine, because in my area you almost never see an abandoned Boston terrier unless it has serious health problems. (I’m on the West Coast, and I think Bostons are a lot more common on the East Coast.)

And I agree with you about the age issue. My problems keeping up with my puppy probably have a lot to do with the fact that I’m four years older than I was the last time around — and those four years were ones with “heavy wear and tear”!

          • Thedesigndiva says:

Congrats on the pup…. I have THREE labs…Mom dad and daughter…..
Mom and Dad are blacks the daughter is a BEAUTIFUL white/yellow combo ….
They are the best…..they even talk to me…..
            DOG JOKE…
place your wife and dog in the trunk…go back in a few and see who’s the happiest to see you……..

          • TLM says:

I am so sorry to hear about your dog’s passing. It is a blessing that you saved another dog and are giving him a loving home. Shelter dogs are wonderful pets, and everyone able to open their home to a pet should go to a shelter first, or to petfinder.com. Wishing you all the best with your new addition to the family! :)

            • Trudie says:

We have two shelter dogs – a lab and a shih tzu/lhasa apso mix. The lab we got as a puppy and, other than being full of energy, has no issue. The shih tzu we got when he was 3 years old. We were told he was abused. It was touch and go for awhile, but with lots of love, he has come around. Although he does have psychotic moments when he barks nonstop at our ceiling fan!

  78. Uh oh… I hear Jill Zarin has called in a team of lawyers. Watch happens live… :)

    • Amy Matheson says:

Why don’t you go report back and we’ll wait with bated breath. If Jill hates being hated, then she’s gonna need a planet of lawyers, not just a team.

    • OneMoreInBoston says:

    • Sam says:

You keep making comments like this, and I’m going to decide to write an unauthorized bio of Zarin just so you can see who’s on the right side of the law when it comes to freedom of speech.

(Although now that I think about it, it wouldn’t be worth my time. Who’d want to read about Jill Zarin’s life? Only one of her flying monkeys — and they don’t make enough money to afford one of my books.)

      • Amy Matheson says:

“Who’d want to read about Jill Zarin’s life?”

Based on book sales of her Secrets of a Shrewish Mother, no one.

      • Sam says:

I told my husband about this post and he said, “You shouldn’t have said they don’t make enough money to afford one of your books. That makes it sound like you’re talking about something that costs ten to twenty or thirty bucks — and Jill’s assistants probably can’t afford to shop at the 99-cent store!”

(He might hate the fact that I watch the show, but he does know all about Jill!)

        • FLG says:

A month or so ago Jillzy’s book was running $3.19 on the internet. I just checked and I can (but won’t) pick one up for $2.79. Prices are still falling…….. The shipping costs more than the book. In the next printing she needs to include a new chapter on getting bargain shipping rates…

    • PJ says:

I hate to point out the obvious but the people who comment here actually are viewers of the show JZ is on (have you noticed how many hits this blog gets?). So what exactly does JZ want to stop a hate blog or comments from viewers? Just how do you think the viewers would react to the blog they comment on being shut down? HMMMMMM what if they decide to use their veto power and stop watching the show, how does that work then? No viewers no show. The last thing you want to do is really piss off the viewers. Just sayin.

    • AF says:

Well that just proves your lack of intelligence – this is WordPress. If Jill wanted to get it shut down, she’d just call on Maggie: Cyber-Assistant Extraordinaire. No lawyers necessary.

I know this – we all know this – because it’s been happening on a pretty frequent basis lately. And again I’m going to sound like a broken record when I say THIS IS JUST A FREAKING BLOG! A FUN BLOG WHERE PEOPLE TALK ABOUT REALITY TELEVISION! Good god! No need for all this stupid drama and trolling. Really, it’s getting old and I’ve only been coming to this site for about a month.

    • Baroness Beachcomber (BB) says:

Do you mean Watch WHAT Happens Live? God I love trolls. They are so much fun to ridicule.

    • Need a Hobby says:

Not necessary to “call in a team” since Bawby & Jill already have lawyers if not on retainer then certainly on call. But I really don’t think the Z’s have to worry: they likely will not be sued if they don’t go any further than they already have.

    • kitkat says:

I think this is Jill’s wackadoodle nephew!

  79. boston02127 says:

If someone who is friends with Jill (I know, I know, it’s a stretch) if someone who knows Jill well, would write a tell all book they could probably make a lot of moolah.

    • Sam says:

Like I said above, I don’t think there’s be a big enough audience for a book like that.

I once considered writing a nonfiction book about reality TV, and even with that broad a topic my agent didn’t think the project was worth doing. (But then again, she’s biased; she HATES reality TV.)

    • Chertin says:

Make a lot of moohlah for the lawyers, you mean, in the inevitable spat that would ensue. This blog isn’t going to attract any lawsuits, but a purported IRL/insider portrayal of Jill would be different.

    • Error404 says:

Isn’t that what alex’s ‘romana clef’ about? That’s what I assumed. Not to bashsilex, but they’ve gotten lotof mileage out of exposing evil Jill.

    • Ramona hasn’t written a book yet – and then she could plug it all next season!

  80. Error404 says:

Gettin cranky. When exactly did it get “fashionable” to serve just boosze and no food at art openings? Would it lol them to pass around a little cheddar on a ritz? Omg have I become Jill?

    • OneMoreInBoston says:

    • smompy says:

I’m sorry, did you say something, Jill?

    • mich_in_mich says:

So funny! I’m glad I wasn’t drinking RS Pinot or SGM when I read that … would have snorted… thanks Trudie :)

  81. Aussie says:

I am sincerely shocked and appalled that that person Jill would say on international TV that phase to someone for no apparent reason other than they are annoying you. It is truely autrious. Stop being rude you are supposed to be adults. Speak wait for the other person to finish speak again. Shouting doesn’t make you right. It used to be fun to be a voyver looking at someone else’s lifestyle etc NOW it is fast forward all Kelly, Luann and Jill bits to get to something reemotely enjoyable having a laugh with Romona and Sonja. Cindy don’t bother and Alex your written word is wonderful but your performance in the reunion show was well, I kept yelling Alex leave it alone don’t give them fuel. Lisa you need to speak to your sister because she is making your whole family look horrid. I understand that you became the lawyer and she is still fighting to be important but just having diamonds doesn’t make you a decent person. I feel better for the rant but in a world where tolerance is short these women should be ashamed of the images they are projecting. The brunettes GROW UP and be civilised because the world is watching and not liking. PS LOLING love your postings

    • Cusi77 says:

Hi, Aussi! You are right into something about Lisa being a Lawyer while Jill is still fighting to be important… Remember in Season 1 when Lisa made her Radio Show at her home and “Mama-is-not-happy” said she was very proud of daughter Lisa…. Jill said that she was the one who ashamed her… that was very telling.

      Are you in Australia?

      • Aussie says:

yes I am, and before you ask I no I don’t know the 2 people Jill meet here and claims are fans because the rest of us say WHO.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

OMG – kids in kindergarten have better manners! It was exhausting to watch.

  82. First off, that second post was a set of guidelines for ME! I have never or will never dictate what others feel, comment or express on this site. I try not to be rude to others and can respect them when they offer differing opinions than my own.

I am NOT trying to control anyone here. I stepped off because it was right for me!
I don’t follow anyone around the site just to give or force my counter veiws or opinions.
I HAVE CLEARLY STATED EVERYONE HAS A RIGHT TO EXPRESS THEIR VIEWS AND OPINIONS!
I appreciate those who share their life experiences and their knowledge. I appreciate those who take the time to research facts or share stories, links, ect.

I HAVE NEVER CALLED ANY COMMENTOR NAMES !
If I have ever been rude or condesending to anyone…..I apologize. That was never my intent.

If a discussion makes me uncomfortable I won’t comment or respond. But, if you are going to track every comment I make and argue just for argument sake, then it’s time for me to go!

    • This is in response to KLMH’s comment to me.

      • Aussie says:

Gee what the heck just happened

      • Cusi77 says:

(((shadows))) You are right. This is a board to give one’s opinion and the only rule is to respect each others opinions or respectfully agree to disagree. Do not pay attention, we like you very much and your opinions are always appreciated. I hope you are feeling better.

        • Kukulet says:

Ditto what Cusi said, Shadows. Blow off the negativity. You have never been condescending or “controlling” to anyone here. (Although how any one poster can “control” other posters is beyond me.)

      • Pghemtchick says:

I think that people forget that text is involved. There are so many options to read emotion into text. Its pretty obvious sometimes, but I hear you shadows. I feel like there are certain things that are a no go and certain posters that one has to perverbially walk on eggshells with. You shared a lot today, and I appreciated your insight and learning more about you (as I’m sure many others did as well). Hang in there, it can be frustrating sometimes, but you can always let them think they “won” and had the last word or walk away. I find it’s easier than letting people stress you out. I hope you feel calmer. :)

      • klmh says:

I never suggested you call people names. I said I enjoy the experiences of stories others bring to this site, not calling people names.
You state that everyone has the right to write their opinions, but try to make another posters disagreements with you unfair.
“Getting the feeling that everytime I share a comment or opinion, a certain someone has to give a counter opinion or negative remark about it. It is their right and I can respect differences of opinion.” If you respect the difference of opinion, why are you complaining? If you need to take some time off, why did you feel the need to put the blame on someone that doesn’t agree with you?
I could take your post paragraph by paragraph. You do this throughout your post.– I don’t do this but you have the right to do it.– Do you not see how this comes off?
I suppose my anger boiled over when you said you didn’t try to diagnose, but everyone can have an opinion. Thank you. It came off as preachy and condescending to me.
It looks like I am the only one that took it that way. Maybe its because I can see myself as someone that has talked about Kelly and her illness. I see you judging me for what I know to be true because of my life experience. I can also talk about alcoholism, by the way.
Write about what you like, and I will too…

        • I’m sorry if you felt I was being judgmental or dictating how people should behave. That was never my intent. I never meant to be preachy or condesending. It was not meant that way.Maybe I expressed myself unclearly. I have guidelines I place upon myself only. I have personal reasons for backing off. There was a commenter who seemed to want to counter point every veiw I expressed. Maybe they just wanted a spirited debate. I just didn’t want to play that game. You have every right to your own opinions, veiws and beliefs. And you have every right to express them any way you want. I have the same right. But, I would never personally attack you for expressing them.

          • klmh says:

There you go. Maybe they needed a good debate and you provided it for them. I don’t mean to be mean. I have always enjoyed your posts, honestly.
The problem is in a round about way, you did attack another poster for expressing their thoughts because you put the blame on them for leaving. Then came the medical remarks.
Please post. You are well liked here, and someday when I get into with you again, lets put smiley faces on the ends of the posts, ok? :) All is good.

          • Chertin says:

            *SIGH*

I tried to stay out of this, but since it’s clearly about me, I’d just like to clarify that I never intended to single out your posts — I skimmed through the thread and commented on whatever posts I found interesting. Looking back, it turns out several of them were yours. I guess that makes you one of the most interesting posters here :). I certainly did not intend to hurt your feelings! I’ll try to refrain from disagreeing with you in the future. Feel better. xoxo.

        • Chertin says:

You aren’t the only one. Thanks for saying these things, klmh.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

((shadowsnomore)) I may be naive but I don’t believe the majority of the posters here mean to be mean. There are times when I find posts upsetting and I just move along. I love the thought you put into your posts and I would sincerely miss you if you left!

      • I don’t think most of the posters here are mean. But, KLMH personally attacked me for my post upthread about taking a break. I don’t need validity from anyone here. I had my reasons for stepping back. I didn’t feel the need to attack anyone. Sorry, but some of the comments struck a nerve with me for personal reasons and I said so.
I don’t try to force my opinions or beliefs on anyone here. I have guidelines and boundaries I set for myself only. I expressed them and it offended KLMH.
I don’t expect anyone to argree with me or defend me. Thank you if you.

        • Adgirl says:

Hey Shadows, Hurry back. I’m sorry that someone(s) were bugging you. Some people are happy all of the time some are the opposite. Just shrug it off and ignore them every time they try to engage you. (That’s what I did when I had a cranky poster/challenger.)

          Come back soon!

        • klmh says:

Yes, you had your reasons for moving back and I completely understand that. It wasn’t that I was knocking you leaving. I didn’t notice you here. I had just gotten after posting a website earlier, from one hell of a day. AZ Girl told me to read further up thread. I couldn’t read all of the posts, but from what I saw, you gave as well as you got.
The deal is, you blamed it on another poster. Your quote: “Getting the feeling that everytime I share a comment or opinion, a certain someone has to give a counter opinion or negative remark about it. It is their right and I can respect differences of opinion. But, it is beginning to strike a nerve with me and cross a line for me.”

          • Sorry if I’m not as articulate as you. You’ve justified your position. I’ve have done the same. I’m not going to continue fighting to prove my point.

    • A says:

Save your fight for the bravo reunion couch. Anyone can love or hate who they want and explain it. Don’t take it personally.

    • Indy 501 says:

Shadows, as i’m learning about all of you, your personalities etc. I know i can always count on you to contribute in a meaningful way.
Please dont go. You are a valued member of the posse.
Apparently you touched a nerve with a new poster who has definitely not entered the conversation knowing the pecking order or the tone we set.
New poster, please dont take this wrong. Every entity has a “culture” and ours is really not about heavy debates. We put it out there and you put it out there but there is no need for challenging one another on our opinions. We tend to respectfully disagree.
      How about a group hug?

    • Please don’t let one or two posters get under your skin. Since there are so many posters here – there are bound to be a few that can inadvertently hurt your feelings. I hope you can take a deep breath, regroup, and realize it has nothing to do with you.

*gets off the New York train* Sorry, they all are giving me headaches and I swear Jill left one of trolls from under her bridge here.

Anyways, so since I decided to cook dinner tonight (zucchini napoleon) mom decided to head to the store. She returned with pop and the latest InTouch mag. I thanked her for the pop, and told her not to support the mag that’s grocery line reading not bring home lol.
Tre is yet again on the front of it with the headline “I’m terrified of being poor”. The second bullet says, “Bullied by “friends” for being broke. Looks like Tre attended Jillzillas “secrets of playing the victim” camp again. I flipped to the article thinking it was another Melissa bashing rant, right? Nah. The first friend mentioned is Kim G. And her videotaped greeting of Tre. Giggling as I flipped the page to expect Mel next, but it was Caroline. Caroline has bullied Tre by talking about the auction on camera. This just reinforced that Tre has drank a punch bowl full of the Jillzilla koolaid. Mel is mentioned for being in denial, and Kathy and Rich asked about her spending too much. But, it’s okay now cause Tre and Joe “aren’t splurging and are both working together on their money.” (combined two sentences of thoughts there so figured I’d quote to cya and all lol.

If Caroline wasn’t team Mel before, Tre just gave her a great reasonto be. I know Caro is preachy, but I don’t recall the Manzos toasting the auction or giggling about it.

There was a smelly pic of Kelly with two watermelons looking lopsided. I feel bad for the guy at the counter at wholefoods behind her as she just came from spin. I enjoyed the Ny break lol

Speaking of watermelons – my huskys just decided to play clash of the titans and knocked into the kitchen table. The watermelon that was sitting on the table rolled off and splattered on the kitchen floor! Naturally I yelled WTH – the younger one made a beeline for her kennel and her sister gave me the husky stink eye and then proceeded to eat as much as she could while I was cleaning up! My youngest son came downstairs to see what what going on and is grumbling because the watermelon is gone! Thank you Kelly Killoren Bensimon, I appreciate that!

      • Cusi77 says:

        Windy_ That was hysterical!

      • Pghemtchick says:

Aww to the watermelon :( thanks for the giggle with the husky stink eye. My parents had a husky when I was born. She was so gentle and protective. I have many pics of her standing over baby me not letting my grandma touch me. Smart doggie there! Lol when she passed due to cirrhosis, my parents got a Chow Chow and another Husky-Sheperd mix. Our husky mix lived for 12 years, and I swear she passed of a broken heart. As she only lived about a month longer than my dad. Such loyal and loving breeds.

  86. Three blessings says:

Never posted before but my two cents is that Cindy is the worst! She has a heart of stone! I have a nanny that comes twice a week for my 4 month old. I have her so I can do things with my older kids 8 and 10 and they can have full mommy attention without the baby. How in hell can u hear your baby cry and not check in on them? if I’m getting ready and I hear the baby cry on the monitor I run in and hold him make sure he’s OK even though I’m paying her! Who wouldn’t? I think she was probably raised this way and that’s why she has no heart or care when she’s hurting someone’s feelings… Narcissism anyone? Throwing LuAnn under the bus, when she was on her side is telling! ( not that I’m a LuAnn fan) but don’t bite the hand that feeds you! Have really enjoyed the blog.. thanks for my mommy escape!

    • WindyCityWondering says:

It was weird for Cindy to say that she doesn’t get up at night when her daughters cry. Glad you found a fun place for mommy escape time!

      • AF says:

I’m sorry…I didn’t actually watch most of this past season of NY, so I missed this. Cindy actually said she doesn’t get up in the middle of the night when her daughters cry? What if they’re sick? What if she wakes up in the morning and they’ve both died of some horrible, preventable illness? I realize I’m being a bit dramatic, but that’s weird to me, and I don’t even have children.

        • Three blessings says:

She said she hears them cry and her nannies get up with them. She just turns over and goes back to sleep.

    • PF says:

And that is exactly what Sonja was trying to tell Cindy about Ramona. “Don’t bite the hand that feeds you”. Cindy still doesn’t get it.

In this one she gives tips on packing for summer travel that any 4th grader could have thought up:

    http://www.kellykillorenbensimon.com/blog/summer-weekend-packing-tips/

In this blog post she gives relationship advice…its funny though because she has broken everyone of her rules on camera!

ATTENTION KELLY…..Rule NUMBER one….Practice what you preach ….You are the designer of your childrens future…… Start designing and quit following….the trail of crumbs will not lead you to the golden pot…….

    • AF says:

LOL! Funniest thing I’ve read all day. Her packing/style tips are…very Kelly Bensimon. Wear running shorts as part of an outfit? I’m assuming she’s talking about those ridiculously tight, short, spandex things she wears, right? Does she think she’s still 20?

I actually do agree with her “Forgive but don’t forget” relationship tip, which kind of makes me question my own sanity. I agree with something Crazy Beans has said. Oh dear…

    • Kukulet says:

Ah, I see Kelly’s been plagiarizing her psychiatrist. Course, the real idea behind having “relationship rules” is actually following them yourself…something Kelly doesn’t get. But that’s Kelly – straight point A to point M and never mind all the points in between. The ditz.

“Wear ballet flats to the beach”? Well, that’s a great idea, because then you can walk around with irritating sand in the bottom of your shoes and continually stop to empty them out. Here’s a thought, Kel – flip flops. They’ve been around for a while now. Since, like, 1979 at least.

It would explain Bethenny’s comments about Ramona only befriending her for airtime or something along those lines. If I remember correctly, Bethenny said this last time she was WWHL.

    • Adgirl says:

I don’t recall that comment but B appeared shortly after Ramona said she doubted Bethenny made $120 mil on SG.
Technically, Ramona made have been correct because Bethenny has at least one partner on her alcohol brand and there are lots of fingers in the cash register durung a big sale (attorneys. agents) but Ramona sounded jealous.

      • TLM says:

Of course Ramona’s jealous, and it wouldn’t be the first time she’s zinged Bethenny with a vicious comment. I would never trust Ramona as a friend; she’s all over the place and can stab you with the meanest remarks, even after it seems like she’s been on your side. Personally I can’t respect someone who can be so cruel with their remarks. I don’t care if it is under the guise of “honesty.” Mean is mean. Ramona also said this season of NYC would be “better without Bethenny” because Bethenny “made the show dark.” Really? That’s Bethenny’s friend? With friends like that…

        • Chertin says:

          ITA.

        • Kukulet says:

That’s rather ironic in retrospect, considering how much darker the show has become WITHOUT Bethenny.

I’m not a huge fan of Ramona’s. I enjoyed her lightheartedness with Sonja this season…but I get tired of her “I’m mean, but at least I own it” schtick. Yes, I’ll give her that, she does own her bad behavior…but, then, so much of her bad behavior is avoidable to begin with that her owning it later falls kind of flat.

For want of a better analogy, I could go outside right now and accidentally run my husband over with the truck and be sorry for immediately, but he’d still be lying under the truck no matter how sorry I was.

        • Kelly says:

I like Bethenny, but to be honest, she did generate a lot of friction. Of course, the other – and I would say primary – source of all of that friction is our dear friend Jill. And she is pulling this show down to her level of nastiness. Bravo needs to eliminate her to save the show.

  92. chismosa says:

ok yes i remember that, thanks Adgirl- but i dont remember the jab about using B for airtime. I need to see if she said that, maybe i can watch an old ep of wwh with B on it- it must be months since she’s been on there. Thanks !

Ramona sounded jealous but R says what she wants as we all know and yeah it was a bit rough she should have been diplomatic and said that she was so proud of all of B’s successes or something along those lines

      • Baroness Beachcomber (BB) says:

    • Pghemtchick says:

Congrats! May the Baron and you have many more! (I’d add but it’s late I fear a Kkb moment lol). Enjoy your trip and stay safe! Happy anniversary!

    • happygal says:

Baroness, Happy Anniversary, I bow to you. That is a huge achievement and makes me very glad to hear of what you and your husband have accomplished. Enjoy your time together

It’s well-known in my social circle that Bobby Zarin is not faithful to Jill. I’m not saying it’s true, but I did hear it from people in my social circle.

Me, I wouldn’t mess with a man whose wife’s initials were on his shirt. But that’s just me. I can’t speak for my social circle.

We say kick these women – or all but our beloved Sonya! – to the curb, observe what makes Beverly Hills and New Jersey great (and boy, are they GREAT!), and cast some new women in that vein for season five!”

Can someone tell me if rayon is a summer material? Like a light material. Thx.

    • flippy says:

yes it is boston. But don’t try washing it in the machine. It’ll go all kooky on you. If its 100% rayon, it’ll need to be drycleaned.

      • boston02127 says:

flippy—-Thank you. I need a dress for a wedding in Aug., there’s a cute one on Ebay for a very good price. I’ll bid on it and take it to the dry cleaners.

        • viki55 says:

You can usually get away with hand washing. It wrinkles like crazy but lightweight. I hand wash all my rayon. Dry cleaning is just too dang expensive!

        • flippy says:

Ahhh, summer weddings are such fun. Hope you have a good time.

    • IndianaHousewife says:

good morning, yes it is generally light, however it is made of polyester so it will not breath. I personally prefer natural fibers especially for summer like a cotton. I would say it would depend on if you were going to wear it mostly indoors and in air conditioning it would probably be fine. Also I am pretty sure that rayon wrinkles pretty badly, especially if you get hot and sweaty, or that could just be my bad luck!

Oh just thought that I would describe it as in imitation silk. Hope this helps.

OT I just wanted all of you that have had rain to appreciate it while you have it! We have been in a drought for two years and it is very scarey. We are really seeing the stress on our large trees, many young ones are alreay dead. The deer are starving and their fawns are so small, it breaks my heart. I long for the sound of thunder. There is a tropical storm forming in the gulf, “Don”. Please pray with my that it reaches all of the Great State of Texas and we get some relief. Thanks:)
