I Hate Jill Zarin Twitter and Kelly May 31, 2010

I Hate Jill Zarin                   Twitter Update                 May 31, 2010

Recent conversation on Twitter that I had with Kelly Bensimon…

Best I can tell her daughter Sea got her cell phone and began to Tweet, here are her 5 tweets…

Hi tweeters its Sea

Happy Monday

Its Sea who watched Sex in the city and liked it like my mom?

Who watched sex in the city this weekend?

What is the best chew toy for chief

I sent this first Tweet to Kelly when I realized that her daughter was using her Twitter account…

TO Kelly  kikilet wow I dont think Sea should be reading your incoming tweets, do you?

FROM Kelly @LynnNChicago why cant my daughter see what people write?if its appropriate 4 u to write it, she can read it.

FROM  Kelly LynnNChicago i am hoping people will use discretion with tweets. why be rude, when we can be productive?

TO Kelly @kikilet you can hope all you want to but people dont always do what you want them to do Kelly, you havent noticed people calling you names?

TO Kelly @kikilet Kelly seriously, your “favorites” have VERY Inappropriate words, and you know it! People dont always send you appropriate tweets!

Kelly has many tweets that are sent to her that are very inappropriate for children to read, much less her own children seeing what people say to her.  She must know that!  Many people will not stop just because her child has her blackberry, and many people don’t pay attention to her tweets and wouldn’t have seen that Sea had her phone.

Can I also mention, Sea went to see Sex In The City?  I found that odd particularly since it is rated “R”!

What the hell is wrong with this woman?

She has also said again that she uses the show as a learning tool for her children so that they know how NOT to act.  I cannot believe she lets her kids watch the show!  I suppose we shouldn’t be surprised since she thinks the show makes her look good.

Earlier this year she asked on Twitter if people thought that “Glee” was an appropriate show for her children.  Is she kidding?  She lets them watch RHONY and Sex In The City but is hesitating about Glee?

Until next time…..<eyeroll>

  1. TLM says:

How do you change your thumbnail photo on this? Also, I have tried to sign in in order to do that, and had wordpress email me my password, and it keeps telling me I have entered something wrong. I have done this 3 times now. Help!!!

  2. HD says:

There is nothing I can say about Kelly. She just continues to blow my mind with how crazy she is and it is not so much her crazy ways but the fact that in her mind this is all sane behavior. That is what just baffles me even though I know that is how most crazy people act.

  3. The Digger says:

Carry over from bottom of last blog:
Mrs. de Lesseps with her wine seller boyfriend this weekend. Mrs. de Lessep and BravoAndy hosted some event in the Hamptons this weekend. Note that Kelly went to Axe Nite club dressed in a shirt to hang with the tweens and did not attend her BFF LuLu’s event to hear her sing…

    • Satchels of Jelly Beans says:

Do they have the same hairdo?

    • TLM says:

What, she couldn’t put down the microphone to take one picture?? Why does this guy always look like a deer in headlights when photographed with her? He’s never smiling.

  4. iceNfire says:

I don’t believe it was Sea on twitter, in fact Sea probably has her own account. What kid doesn’t?

    • boston02127 says:

Me! lol, if i had to tweet about my life people would fall asleep.

    • DarkSonnet says:

Possibly Kelly trying to control any negative tweets more likely.

All that said, she is capable of anything. I think sometimes our expectations for her are too lofty. She is a narcissist, it’s all about her. Always has been, always will be, probably never to change due to total lack of awareness.

There is a picture of her driving with the darn dog on her lap and a child’s hand from the back seat in the picture. Questions were raised if the child had a seat belt on.

Nothing this nitwit does will surprise me.

      • Just a Commoner says:

Weren’t her kids unbuckled in that Behind the Hedges episode where she took them to buy party supplies and balloons for a party that was to take place 30 minutes later?

I kinda doubt that it was actually Sea tweeting. I think it was Kelly tweeting as Sea to get people to be nicer to her. I don’t know any kid that age who would ask what the best kind of chews are for a puppy. That’s the kind of thing that Kelly tweets all the time just to get responses and attention. Sea would likely type silly stuff about herself or her sister, maybe about her mom.

        • Had Enough! says:

Yes, in the episode of that stupid home video posing as a tv program (Behind the Hedges) she was driving, talking on the cell phone (not a hands free), and at least one of the kids and her former assistant were in the back seat, unbuckled. In a jeep. Which has a high roll-over risk. And, IIRC, a cloth top, not a hard top.

          • You suck says:

Umm, a ‘soft top’ is not any more dangerous than a ‘hard top’. They both have roll bars. Get a clue.

  5. TNBelle2 says:

I read the tweets, and thought it very sad that a mother would risk a child’s emotional development by allowing her to view such hateful venom that people spew to her constantly. Sometimes I cringe at the tweets she has received, and I am a 50+ woman. I do not understand this type behavior. I guess our society has really stooped to a new low, by writing such mean and hateful things for people to view in addition as some shows on TV. I guess I should not really be surprised after Kelly’s meltdown on the television I will say I am thoroughly disgusted and appalled that bravo aired it. I pray more than anything she did not allow her children to see her behavior.

  6. Jennifer says:

I am not surprised …… But I don’t really believe that was Sea , I think Kelly is more of a liar/ BS person then we give her credit for. We all think she nuts ( and on some level she Is) but I also think she just full of it…..

PS what can we really expect from a mom who poses for Playboy and then tells her young kids about it? Poor kids!

  7. Snarkapalooza says:

Er, so let me get this straight. Kelly calls Bethenny a “hobag” and accuses her of sleeping her way across America, then proceeds to take her 10 year old to watch “Sex and the City”? Let me guess – using Kelly logic, she’s using the movie as a teaching tool so that her daughter knows how NOT to act. WTF??

Those poor kids are being raised by a kid – a not very bright one at that.

    • Shadowsnomore says:

Those poor kids are being raised by a lunatic. A very stupid lunatic.

    • Marie Laveau says:

      Thank you!!! My sentiments exactly.

Sex & The City???!!!! How old is that child? 12?

Where is Gilles?! Why is he allowing this?

And what the hell is wrong with her parents?!! I guess there’s only so much they can do seeing as how Kelly is a grown woman (chronologically. MENTALLY, like Lynn says, she’s about 13!).

      • ImToula says:

Gilles is 65-70 years old. Does he have the energy to watch this nut all the time? Does he care to?
The kids know she nuts. Remember the pancakes?
Crazy is normal for the kids.

  8. Satchels of Jelly Beans says:

If it was indeed Sea twittering, do you you think that, with punctuation, this is how it would have read:

“Its Sea. Who watched Sex in the city and liked it like my mom?”

    Maybe she didn’t see it . . .

    • jackterrier says:

      @Satchels – That’s how I read it also.
I think she meant her mom liked the movie and wondered who else liked it.

    • Kat says:

Wouldn’t Kelly use twitter speak? Abbreviate etc

      • Satchels of Jelly Beans says:

I’m not saying that it wasn’t Sea; my point is that I’m not sure that the tweet indicates that Sea saw the movie. I think she is asking whether everyone liked the movie as much as her mother liked the movie.

        • Kat says:

Thank you for speaking slowly and clearly to me. 😉
          I misread your post.
And it does appear that she is asking who went to the movie ergo she was not there.
          Excellent point.

  9. Sue says:

I sent a tweet to Kelly because as parents it’s our job to censor and make good decisions on what our children should read or watch. I just don’t think she gets it. If you disagree with her in any capacity you are bullying. Go figure.

  10. Pennie Howland says:

Check this out… http://www.lifeandstylemag.com. Have to say I’m not surprised.

    • Satchels of Jelly Beans says:

The reasons that I find this hard to believe are (a) it’s just too horrible a thought to consider, and (b) it says that “Kelly is attacked again”. Kelly is the attacker, so how can she be attacked “AGAIN”?

      • ImToula says:

Jill and Bethenny didn’t supply the only fireworks at the special, where they were joined by their castmates Ramona Singer, Kelly Killoren Bensimon, LuAnn de Lesseps, Alex McCord and Sonja Morgan. “It was very dramatic,” an insider who watched the taping tells Life & Style. “Kelly was attacked again, Alex was out of control, and Ramona flipped out!”

Alex was out of control? Did she try to hit anyone? Or did she flip along with Ramona. ……Everyone so far has said that it was “eventful”

    • ridicurhony says:

isn’t there a connection between life&style magazine, Perez Hilton and Jill??

    • Char12 says:

“Kelly was attacked again, Alex was out of control, and Ramona flipped out!” WTH Kelly attacked AGAIN? What show was he watching?

      • Jennifer says:

I guess we will know soon enough if these are true or plants….. I think plants and I vote for Jill …….. I think she just trying to get ahead of any possible bad press and get focus off her
B/c now any press for the next 2 wks will have this make up rumor….
Of course L & S was first to break B in labor story so….. connections?

        • Had Enough! says:

Burying the hatchet is not the same thing as going back to BFFs. Bethenny has a wonderful, full life and the fact that she and Jill aren’t openly feuding doesn’t mean that they are resuming a friendship. The mere fact that this is the first time they’ve seen one another in nine months, plus the article quoting Alex, should be a strong indication that while they aren’t feuding, Bethenny knows she doesn’t need this toxicity in her life.

          • PFinFL says:

Had Enough: Totally agree. Even if they did bury the hatchet…I just don’t see Bethenny trusting Jill in a friendship anymore after all she did to Bethenny. They will probably be civil but I don’t see the relationship going back to what it was. Jill messed up this friendship.

  11. mia says:

I think Kelly is doing anything to get attention at this point. And I’m not exactly sure the reasons why… so many theories at this point. I think I’m going to refrain talking about her, just because at this moment it is my opinion that she gets off on being a topic of conversation, and I think it would “kill” her if everyone stopped caring.

    • boston02127 says:

I think it’s the first time in a very long time Kelly has gotten any attention.
She is a has-been in the modeling world, that life is pretty much over and I think has been over for some time. Too bad all she gets now is bad attention and she eats it up.

      • emt2 says:

You are so right! Kelly is pathetic and she is a bad mother for exposing her children to what people say about her on twitter. She is delusional and so self-centered. She is crazy and washed up and I think she’ll do something really drastic to get more attention.

      • Had Enough! says:

Correction. She’s a never-was in the modeling world. I never heard of her until she showed up on RHoNYC. In an era when models are household names – and this started way back when I was a teenager, with models like Cheryl Tiegs – surely some of us would have heard of her back then.

  12. Quincy IL says:

We have a local news woman who gives all of her personal information to twitter all day long. It seems dangerous to me and really too much information.

Why would Kelly give the public information about where she is going? There are nuts out there. Kelly would probably think the stalker wanted to date her.

It sounded like Kelly knows our Lynn and it did seem that she knew Lynn’s favorites.
Does she have the time in her faboulous life to follow Lynn’s blog?

Every once in a while Bethenny gets a tweet that touches a nerve. I remember one that insulted her face when she was swollen just before Bry was born. Frankly, I don’t know how these women survive this or why they would want to. I bet Luann’s appearance on this show affected that 16 year marriage. The Count didn’t seem to like being on camera.

Ramona’s renewal of vows seems like a warning shot fired at Mario. She has to be concerned about him. He’s gorgeous and she’s getting older. Pretty soon, Ramona’s liver is going to shut down after drinking all of tha wine.

    • Kat says:

I think living transparently via twitter, facebook and other social media is an acquired taste. Maybe it’s generational too.
      I prefer privacy.
I couldn’t quite accept that spokeo.com collected information for redistribution on the web when the story ran on CNN. Even though I already knew it was being done.

      • battgyrl says:

I checked out spokeo.com and much of my information was incorrect. I LOVED that I am listed as living in a $1 million+ house though – if only!! I checked my mom, brother, friends and none of the info was even close to 100% accurate, which actually is fine by me. 🙂

        • Kat says:

My page info is wrong too. If I fill out an online survey, I am forever changing my facts. New interests, marital status, email addys and family members.
I think I posted on a different page that my stategy is to baffle them with bullsh!t. Pollute the data stream.

  13. lillybee says:

I hope that the source for those stories is not TweetMaxine.

  14. boston02127 says:

It’s so much more fun to hate Jill. Kelly is so draining.
That guy in the pic with LuMan, Have you ever gone to a yard sale or flea market and seen those velvet paintings of the kids with the big eyes. He looks like one.
ps/Princess Fergie is on Oprah tomorrow.

    • Marie Laveau says:

Oh, my God! He DOES!! LOL. I couldn’t put my finger on it, but that’s it.

  15. A former Jill fan says:

I agree. Kelly is pretty much acting out to get any attention. Even exposing her kids to her crazy world. She’s demented. Gilles may not even care that much for the children if he lets this continue.

Kelly is not unlike Danielle exposing her kids to her world. It’s not right.

Still, sometimes when a child is exposed to the insane world of a parent who is like Kelly or Danielle, the kid turns out normal. I think it’s child abuse though.

A good parent will shield a child from the types of things Kelly and Danielle do not opening invite them in.

    • Kat says:

Parenting is giving your life to protect your child if you have to.
Kelly is enervating and aggravating. A veritable stagnant frenetic energy.

I hope you enjoyed your weekend. 8)

  16. ridicurhony says:

sry, posted this on the old one first:

it’s perfectly obvious that if Kelly received any type of ‘help’ after the island, it did nothing for her.

She is now challenging people to tweet her with inappropriate or profane language so that she can cry some more about being bullied and claim her kids are being harassed by vicious adults. Nice.

on a different note this is why I have a new theory about Sonja (from http://nymag.com/daily/intel/2010/05/real_housewife_sonja_morgan_br.html) but maybe you guys have already discussed it:
she says. “Bravo told me, ‘Don’t read the blogs.’ Bloggers are the people out there writing tickets. Like, you know the parking attendant that comes up to you all angry? She’s having a bad day, it’s 90 degrees out, and you’re in this beautiful car with the air-conditioning going? She’s just pissed off, so she writes you a ticket. If you’re spiritual, and I’m very spiritual, you need to be above that. I’ve dealt with jealousy my whole life. I have no problem with it.”

    • Had Enough! says:

Too bad. Most of us – including me – have been writing very nice things about Sonja.

      • ridicurhony says:

yeah, it just hit me wrong. Is she sayin bravo thinks bloggers are just loser jealous people or is that her opinion? i’m used to dealin with jealousy too, but only from people like Jill – i do not generalize it to the rest of the world!

  17. cusi77 says:

    Hello Lynn! Hi to everybody!

Are you enjoying your Memorial Day? I went with my hubby to have a Lebanese food… YUMMY!

    I have a question…
When Kelly went to have a talk with her daughters about posing for Playboy…
Did I hear well Sea told her “You entretain people with your weirdness”?????

I do not doubt her love for her daughters.
She does not have touch with reality… or she just lives in another reality…

She keeps insisting that SHE IS REAL! (?????)

    • Jennifer says:

I’ve learned in life the more plp have to profess how ‘real’ they are, the less it is actually true….. Like how truly classy plp never mention class …..

    • ImToula says:

They both appear to not take her too seriously. They know she’s wacko. That’s why they react to her the way they do. I also don’t think that Nutz is around the girls as often as she leads us to believe she is. They have a nanny or something.I don’t think she’s allowed to be around them, especially since she kicked her boyfriend’s ass last year. She seems to be violent as well.

    • Adios Lunatic says:

Your english gets better with every post, Cusi! Good for you!

  18. Shadowsnomore says:

I’m carrying my response over from previous page on the Life & Style scoop.

Problem with this scoop is that Kelly never was attacked! She did all the attacking. I hope her craziness is exposed and she has no where to hide. She deserves to be lambasted. I also find it hard to believe that Alex was out of control. Emotional yes, but not out of control. Alex would be justified in letting Jill and Luann have it with both barrels blazing. They deserve to be raked over the coals for their behavior as does Kelly. And if Ramona flips out I hope it’s on Jill’s ass. That bitch needs to be called out big time!

I also want to add something I stated before. I believe Bethenny will end the feud with Jill just because she is at a new crossroads in her life. I believe she wants to end the drama and move on with her new baby, husband and show. I believe she will be friendly to Jill but not her BBF. Bethenny is smart enough to know that she can never trust Jill again. And of course Jill will be apologetic, cry, say she handled things poorly, was edited badly and was misunderstood and hurt. It won’t be sincere and it will be all about her. She is a fake bitch who is just trying to rebuild her fan base and popularity. She is not credible in anything she does. Everything she says just makes me want to vomit and throw my shoe at her and the TV.
And if you have any doubt as to how I feel I’ll say it again – I HATE KELLY, LUANN, and especially…I HATE JILL ZARIN!

    • Shadowsnomore says:

      sorry typo I meant BFF

      • Anitabee says:

The L & S report reads like a bunch of B.S. to me.

I betcha it is Jill that flips out, Jill is the one that attacks, and Jill that goes on a rampage.

Please Bravo make it at least a two part reunion.

  19. lillybee says:

I wonder how Kelly would react if one of the NY wives acted with her girls the way Gretchen tried to work with Alexa.

  20. ImToula says:

Is anyone going to watch the Jersey wives tonigh? I kind of want to watch Kendra, because her sex tape came out today…..It’s a special day! LOL

  21. RileyKitty says:

I know we all hate Jill & desperately want her off the show & that probably won’t happen & I can live with that. BUT Kelly needs to removed next season. I absolutely refuse to watch next season if she is back. She is beyond delusional, there is a disconnect in her wiring.

    • DarkSonnet says:

Be careful, Kelly just posted this – ;o)

@ovandov i love nene. she does support me like crazy and she would take any housewife out for me. #neneleakes is my girl

      • Kat says:

With friends like Kelly… you will end up in jail because they won’t STFU!

      • boston02127 says:

Lol, now her ghetto is coming out. She keeps getting better and better!

      • RileyKitty says:

LOL DarkSonnet Nene doesn’t scare me. She is like many blowhards out there all bark & no bite. Nene probably read that & thought I just said hi to the crazy bitch at an event.

        • Shadowsnomore says:

Nene scares me as much as a spider. The simple solution is to step on them and they are gone! Besides I’m bigger and badder than she or spiders will ever be!

      • Shadowsnomore says:

Is that a threat to all of us who disagree with her and tell her what we think about her and her behavior? How appropriate is that for her daughters to read? Kelly …for someone who claims that they are constantly being bullied by the women on the show and viewers – YOU ARE THE BULLY!!! Please get a dictionary and look up the definition. Your face will be pictured beside the word and description of BULLY!

    • DarkSonnet says:

I’m sure everybody is completely safe because it is highly unlikely that Kelly will recognize NeNe with her “new face” and will hand her hit list to a complete stranger.

And it is equally as doubtful that NeNe will admit to knowing Kelly. ;o)

  22. MiaKulpa says:

In my state if a person calls Child Protective Services on someone they HAVE to investigate. The person who reports stays anonymous. I wonder if anyone in Manhattan has ever reported Kelly.

    • Kat says:

I believe my state investigates every complaint to determine if there is a factual basis to any/all allegation(s). I do not know if that is a state or federal law.

      • Kat says:

I missed posting my point. Apologies.

Unless you have a provable allegation or can show a pattern of neglect or abuse… not much may come of your charge.

    • Just a Commoner says:

My daughter works for CPS. She’s a social worker and she is the one who determines whether a child should be removed his parents. From all the things she’s told me about real cases and also nuisance calls (people who use CPS to harass a family member or neighbor), I doubt very much that Kelly’s kids would be taken from her. Many parents take reasonably good care of their kids while still screwing up in some areas, like letting a young kid watch R movies or letting a young kid read rude or contradictory Twitter posts.

No CPS worker would remove those girls for anything we’ve seen so far. They weren’t along on the USVI trip, they weren’t at the reunion shows or in the bar where Kelly asked Bethenny to meet her. Yeah, their mother is not emotionally healthy but we haven’t seen her inflict much of that at all on her kids.

      Just sayin’.

  23. cusi77 says:

@shadowsnomore— I think as well that if Bethenny accepted to “bury the hatched” with Jill is to have a cordial relationship and avoid tension. But after all we got to see of Jill this season, I do not think anyone in her right mind will trust her.

I remember in one program with Andy Cohen, Bethenny said that many times just reading the comments of her blogs, the viewers help her to see things she was not aware of at that time…

I am going to watch RHONJ. Bye.

  24. boston02127 says:

Kelly made such a big scene about Bethenny attacking her kids in the press. She should look in a mirror. She’s the one causing all the damage to her own kids.

  25. RileyKitty says:

I don’t know what Gilles & Kelly’s custody arrangement is but if he don’t have enough ammo now to take full custody of those girls then there is something wrong with the Family Courts of NY. He may already have full custody & Kelly just thinks she has some say so but we know how she screws things up. He probably hired supernanny just so Kelly isn’t alone with the girls.

    • Zarout! says:

I’m not sure he wants full custody. If he hasn’t stepped in by now, I’m thinking he may be as irresponible as Kelly. Poor kids…

      • Had Enough! says:

Gilles is 64 so he was already 52 when the oldest was born. It could be that he wasn’t all that interested in having kids, and they had a deal. You know – you want a puppy? OK, you have to walk it and take care of it. It is YOUR puppy. So maybe he just never had any interest in them in the first place.

    • GreatExpectations says:

I’m sure he’s a debonair, globe-trotting, 20 year old model dating European father type. In that he will not do anything about custody until well, Kelly does something really serious that makes the papers. Like try to harm her daughters, publicly endorse self cutting or murdering her much younger boyfriend. I mean, really. Then he’ll jet in with his concerned European rich Picasso girlfriend and the girls will be spirited away to a private school in Switzerland.

But then, maybe I read too many Sidney Sheldon books as a kid!

  26. Chickentales says:

@ovandov i love nene. she does support me like crazy and she would take any housewife out for me. #neneleakes is my girl 35 minutes ago via web in reply to ovandov

  27. iceNfire says:

I think RileyKitty may have something there. In Kelly’s mind she is the mother of two girls, but in actuality she is just a distant relative.

  28. Anitabee says:

I have a feeling Kelly’s kids know they have a whacked out mom. So sad. Remember when Kelly told them about Playboy? At the end of the conversation her youngest just told her she was weird.

Poor Kids. No real dad in the picture and a woman that needs some good medical attention.

This is really sad. Moms should protect their young children what Kelly is doing is borderline child abuse.

    • iceNfire says:

Thing is we really don’t see those kids at all. We see Kelly and she talks about her kids but I’ve seen no pictures. Anyone?

      • DarkSonnet says:

She posted some of them all together today while at the beach.

Speaking of that – The other night somebody posted a picture of her ready to go out with a silver/gray sparkly dress on. I think she had previously posted that she was staying in for the evening.

Today at the beach, she is wearing the same dress. ???

        • desertgal66 says:

Yeah. I noticed that, too. Maybe she stopped off somewhere overnight for a one night stand…oops, sorry, I mean “relationship”.

          • DarkSonnet says:

Maybe it was an adjunct part of her public service work the other day.

You know, where she handed out 40,000 condoms.

            Could happen…

          • cusi77 says:

            You are so funny!
Unconditional- commited pure love! At least for that night!

        • boston02127 says:

I saw that too and thought I was confused. Glad you saw it.

          • Had Enough! says:

I think she had the photo taken, then went out on the beach with the kids in the evening/late afternoon, and then went out.

  29. Chickentales says:

I agree with everything this person wrote. Anyone who defended Kelly in the responses is as certifiable as Kelly. I don’t see how any one can defend this woman and her sick behavior!

  30. RileyKitty says:

I am going to take the Bizzaro ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bizarro ) approach to Kelly. Everything is opposite. Day is Night. Black is White. Good is Bad.

  31. HD says:

I am watching New Jersey…sigh…BORING…but can someone tell me what the hell Joe does for a living? Teresa spends money like it is going out of style!

    • Adios Lunatic says:

He “owns a construction company.” Many things have been theorized about what he really does……………..they showed T and the girls going to his office once and it looked pretty small and shabby compared to their very grandiose lifestyle.

      • HD says:

Sounds a little fishy. He just seems to have tons and tons of money in a failing economy, especially running a business that would have been directly affected when the housing bubble burst. I wonder about him…..a little sketchy.

    • Marie Laveau says:

(Holding up fingers on both of my hands doing finger QUOTES): “CONSTRUCTION” (As in, “I hang with people that sometimes ‘re-construct’ other people’s faces for various reasons!”).

Let me shut up. Maybe he really is in construction.

    • morning says:

Well the Manzo’s other good friend Bernard Kerik just started serving a four year sentence for eight felonies. Perhaps this friend also has something going on other than construction.

  32. RileyKitty says:

Danielle is nearly as delusional as Kelly. Twisting things to suit her need for vengence. Christopher never said anything to HER about a surprise in side FOR HER sadistically. Crazy!! She is travelling with an entourage of classy people.

    • RileyKitty says:

you aren’ t there for the family if you are bringing uninvited unpaid guest to a effing fundraiser!!!!

    • HD says:

Danielle sure is another Kelly. That whole scene in the Brownstone was just stupid. Danielle is a damn fool. Leave those people alone. She just creates drama and illusions to fuel her ignorance. I am not a fan of Dina or Caroline but damn, she is going overboard. Why does she even care about the Manzo’s? Who cares? Leave them alone. Sheesh….

      • Jennifer says:

Agreed, tonight Danielle made herself look insane all on her own ….. She and Kelly should have their own show, them in a padded room arguing with the voices in their heads

    • Satchels of Jelly Beans says:

Folding laundry. NJ in the background. Even not paying close attention, I heard Chris say “big surprise” in reference to how the ladies were dressed. Kim G new that, but decided to extend her 1 minute by feeding Danielle’s “fire”.

      • RileyKitty says:

I was hoping Kim G was seeing the light as they were standing outside the Brownstone making threats but alas I can see she is still with Danielle in her kitchen in the previews. Something tells me this “classy, uptown” lady was wanting a trip on the wild side with the ex-con. She wanted to fu*k a bad boy.

  33. Kelly Jelly Beansomeone says:

I’ve tried and tried to sit through the episode tonight and I just CANNOT watch Danielle. I’m over to the food channel.

I will go to bed tonight and give thanks that Danielle is so easily turned off in my life.

    • Satchels of Jelly Beans says:

House Hunters on HGTV is okay . . .

    • morning says:

“I have a good grasp on reality, they don’t.” That was Danielle at the end of tonight’s episode. Sound like anyone else we “know?”

  34. RileyKitty says:

How cute is the commercial for Bethenny’s new show of Jason waxing Bethenny’s baby belly? LOL

    • TLM says:

Much as I like them as a couple, that scene always grosses me out. Some things are best left behind closed doors. 😉

      • Squirrels says:

It’s not the act itself that is funny. It’s her response….. f’ng hilarious….

  35. upperwestsidedude says:

Have you read this spoiler for the reunion show?

    • RileyKitty says:

the thing that makes me not believe this is Kelly was attacked AGAIN, she wasn’t attacked in the first place, she attacked.

But I have no issue if Bethenny buried the hatchet with Jill. It just says to me Beth doesn’t want to carry the Jill baggage around not they will resume the friendship. Jill has shown her true colors to Bethenny.

      • upperwestsidedude says:

I hope you are right about the Jill and Bethenny thing. Jill is an opportunist and she is all to aware that Bethenny’s star is rising.

NJ show ~~I can’t stand them.
Carolyn~~You keep saying that you don’t want to talk about Danielle anymore. Then don’t! Classy that your grown kids say F to you.
Jacquiline~~You need a life. A hobby, an interest, a craft, a job, anything! You’re the most boring person on the face of this earth. You spend more time on twitter then you do with your own family. It’s apparent you’re begging for any type of attention.
Teresa~~While your gross husband was getting a tattoo you stated that you’re not getting one because you don’t put a bumper sticker on a Bentley. You don’t have a forehead!!! That would make you a Bentley without a front end. Wake up Teresa, you’re sickening and you’re passing it on to your kids. Keep those stupid hats off your new monkey, they weight more than her head.
Dina~~~ I think you’re the biggest sneak of them all. A good place for you is home in your overly cluttered dirty looking house. I think your worst enemy in your life will be karma and I hope I’m right.
Lauren and Ashley~~ Grow up & get jobs and hit a gym. Lazy fat asses.
Danielle~~ I’m not wasting my time. Just ugg.
The whole mafia act. It’s old. It’s over done. If any of you had a relative, a friend, a neighbor tied in with the mafia and helping you out in any way you wouldn’t say a word. Never mind being on TV. Drop the mafia act.
You’re all a bunch of drunken classless white trash skanks and proving it more and more each week.

    • upperwestsidedude says:

LOL! The bridge and tunnel housewives are classless. Teresa is particularly nauseating.

    • morning says:

Now tell us how you really feel. 🙂

    • just sayin' says:

Exactly, how is this a show? I really don’t get it, honestly. Yes, that Danielle lady is crazy but they are pious and pissy, how is that entertainment? Just asking no offense to any fan they may have out there :).

      • Kat says:

A train in slow motion that may or may not wreck. But the horn blares.
        I don’t watch it either.

    • TLM says:

Oh yes — I forgot. Joe Giudice got a tattoo covering half his arm, and Teresa said she isn’t getting a tattoo because you don’t put a bumper sticker on a Bentley. So I guess that makes Joe is a Ford Pinto? Teresa’s logic is, well…always interesting.

I don’t get the white trash obsession with getting tattoos with the names of your kids on them. Are these people wanting to make sure they can be identified in the event they are murdered? Is it to remind you of your kids’ names in case you forget them? I don’t get it, but hey, maybe if Joe looks at his arm before deciding to drive drunk again, it will be worth it. I doubt he will, though.

  38. Ann marie says:

OMG – I teLly cannot take her anymore.

  39. lillybee says:

West coast here. Is Jersey worth watching?

  40. boston02127 says:

Teresa let two of her kids ride a Quad without helmets. Nice….

    • battgyrl says:

Great. That just sickens me. Teresa is starting to get on my last nerve. I really want to tweet to her regarding the title of her book – I wonder how many people bought it thinking it was a Bethenny title. Of all the titles for her cookbook it had to be SKINNY Italian? She’s almost as bad as Kelly and her “Kellade.”

      • boston02127 says:

Someone did question her about the title. Teresa said her book was already in press before Bethennys came out.

        • battgyrl says:

I find that so hard to believe, just because B has been working on her Skinnygirl brand for so long. But who am I to judge? LOL

    • TLM says:

That mortified me, that that was a gift to her kids, and she put two of them on that thing. Then she says she raises divas, not tomboys? Then why buy them a miniature version of something you’d see at a monster truck rally? She gave this girl no training whatsoever on how to drive this thing, just stuck them on there and let them go. I was seriously worried it would flip over and kill both kids.

  41. Olivia says:

I am going to reserve judgment about the finale of the Reunion Show because that article that stated that Jill and Bethenny resumed their friendship is just eating me up.

If true, then we have spent the past season wasting time and effort in defending a position that was bogus. “Using” the emotions of the audience to gain a foothold in the ratings race is unforgivable.

And that leads me to assume, if this is true, then the shock and awe we witnessed regarding Kelly’s breakdown was also done for the sake of ginning up interest.

    • I Can't Stand The Toxicity says:

I don’t think Jill and Bethenny are going to resume their friendship. After the reunion taping , Kelly started tweeting nice things about Bethenny. Kelly said she understood why Jill wants to be friends with Bethenny again and she said she hoped that they would be friends again. That tells me that they aren’t friends right now. I think Jill’s camp would like us to believe that they are friends again because Jill is trying to repair her image.

    • DarkSonnet says:

It might be more realistic (and easier to accept) if we go on the premise that Bethenny accepted an apology from Jill. Nothing more, nothing less.

Bethenny is not stupid, I highly doubt that any friendship will ever be reestablished between them. Bethenny knows that she can never trust Jill.

A leopard does not change it’s spots.

      • I Can't Stand The Toxicity says:

It wouldn’t surprise me at all if Jill was the source for that reunion spoiler. The negative comments about Alex and Ramona are a dead giveaway. Also the comments about Kelly being “attacked”. The source also made it a point to say that Jill extended an olive branch to Bethenny. Jill’s grubby little fingerprints are all over that article. lol

      • Kat says:

I would accept a rational Bethenny calmly accepting Jill’s apology. But I want to see a UFC fight night. You can’t
talk to Jill, may as well smack her.

        • Had Enough! says:

See here’s what I think happened. Jill and Luann, having seen the footage from St. John, and having already started to doubt Kellamity and to back away from her, and Jill wanting to get back in Bethenny’s good graces, wouldn’t let Kelly spout her BS about being attacked. So they questioned her, and now it is “everyone against Kelly.” Obviously Jill took up with Kelly only to anger Bethenny, and now that she wants to make piece with Bethenny, she has no reason to continue this faux friendship with Kelly the Human Titanic.

    • Squirrels says:

      I could just cry….

    Somebody watching HWONJ?

I have my stomac stick to my back! Danielle TROUBLEMAKER!

    • battgyrl says:

I just read Dina’s blog for tonight’s episode and is she angry! It’s a great blog, you can feel her passion. She is definitely Switzerland no longer!!

      • vilzvet says:

The Bravo blogs are unbelievable!! They are all furious, justifiably so, with Danielle. Danielle mostly spends her blog slamming Teresa and the others and not giving enough proof of her version of events at the Brownstone.

      • boston02127 says:

@battgyrl~~ I use to like Dina but I found a Tweet page about Danielle. It’s listed under her old name Beverly Merrell.
The things being said on that about Danielle and her kids is awful. Don’t get me wrong, I can’t stand Danielle but I think the tweet page is going too far, esp about her girls. Reading it makes me think it’s Dina and Jacqueline posting the messages.
Who else knows Danielle like J & D?

        • battgyrl says:

I will check this out! I know Dina isn’t a saint either and frankly I don’t get why they don’t leave each other alone. I know they are on a show and all, but if someone is that toxic in your life does the money really mean that much?

On a related note, with all of the hatred and drama with the NJ girls, why is the show still such a snoozefest? LOL!

          • Olivia says:

Again, they are all following a storyline that was developed by Bravo. In order to remain on the show, they have to have some identifying structure to base their reason for being.

Drop Danielle and you have nothing but talk of “chuckies’, face shaving, ham throwing, obnoxious kids, and Theresa’s sex life.

Drop the Manzo’s and you have Danielle without someone to stalk and more time spent with her torturing her own kids.

They are working around a fake storyline in order to be paid the big bucks Bravo spends to show them for the idiots that they are.

        • morning says:

Could this be related to J’s daughter Ashley’s nasty tweets discussed in an earlier blog?

          • Had Enough! says:

Do you think Gerald Staub knew who she was/her background when he married her and had kids with her? That all took place in 1986. Working backwards from the age of her kids, and the fact that it looks like they’ve been divorced at least 3 years (two seasons plus they were already divorced when the RHoNJ started), that means they were married no later than 1991 (Christine is 16, so 19 years ago). So that’s only five years after the arrest, and she was on probation for five years.

How does he not worry about this drug dealer that she put away with testimony in exchange for the plea deal? Surely that guy or his friends/family are going to come after her sooner or later? I think she’s got much bigger things to worry about than the Manzos, although she certainly has a reason to be paranoid.

  43. otaypanky says:

Here is an answer from the net on whether reality shows are scripted:

No they aren’t scripted. That was the reason there were suddenly a wack of them when the writers went on strike. No need for script writers.

No, what they do is shoot hundreds of hours of footage that is very skillfully edited down to the one or two hour show. The editing is done in such a way that your emotions are manipulated in just the way the producers hope.

Even with shows like American Idol… the clips, at the end as a re-cap before you vote, are chosen for just the right emotional impact.

Very little is shown on air (live or not) that isn’t carefully picked to get the viewer to tune in next week or vote for the “right” contestant.

Next time you watch one of these shows and you see something “behind the scenes” or “juicy,” ask yourself “Why out the hundreds of hours of tape did they decide to show this bit?”

With millions of dollars of revenue at stake, they’re not taking any chances.

    Hope this helps.

    • ridicurhony says:

otay, this is what my hubby and i figured out too, when i was complaining about so many ‘reality’ shows during and after that strike- that they didn’t need the hollywood writers to do them.

I think they maybe TELL ppl like Jill there’s a ‘storyline’ as in ‘this is going to be about New York mothers and their kids’. But then the producers just film and edit it into whatever they want. They can present any of these women in a positive or negative light with so much film.

i’ve never thought it was scripted, but my husband does cuz he gets that ‘WHO would really DO that?’ reaction. I happen to believe people really do act that stupid. I think maybe the crew will do things like ask Beth – hey can we film you peeing on the stick? in the pregnancy scene or ask Jill – hey can you repeat what you just said to Beth? cuz we didn’t get that during the ‘ambush’ scene becuz there are scenes like that one where it does not look natural.

I confess to tuning into the NJ show tonight. Theresa, and her unmanageable brood share the “unibrow” look. Gia is just plain obnoxious. At the age of 9 she was allowed to have her birthday party at a salon where about 20 kids, arriving in a limousine, were treated to facials, manicures, and pedicures! On top of that, she was gifted with some kind of riding machine that must have cost at least $200.00.

The excess of this show is absurd. Whatever Juicy Joe “does for a living” must be pretty lucrative to keep up with the nonstop spending. Last week alone she blew close to $2,000.00 on kids clothing.

    Defies logic in today’s economy.

    • boston02127 says:

Between the unibrow and lack of forehead it’s an odd look.

    • boston02127 says:

@Olivia~ I just google one of those mini quads that her daughter got for her b-day. Hold on to your hat when u see the price.

      • Olivia says:

        OMG! That is unbelievable!

        • DarkSonnet says:

And they are dangerous. Putting any of her children on that is just insane.

          • morning says:

I was amazed that (besides no helmets but I’ve noticed Joe doesn’t wear a seatbelt when he’s driving either, even as he brings home his baby daughter, who he was obviously disappointed was not a son…but I digress!) Teresa immediately put a second child on the thing the very first time birthday girl rode it! TV cameras are not God’s way of surrounding you in a safety bubble!

    • Amber...Real Wife says:

Whoa it looks like rain! LMAO Whatever happened to kids being off limits. Why is Avery okay and Gia not?

  46. Olivia says:

They are not “scripted” but they work around a “storyline”. Even Evil Jill admitted this much in one of her interviews.

This year’s storyline was built around Ramona’s “renewal”. Last year the “Creaky Joints” charity event.

The dialogue is their own but the basis of the narrative is established at the start of each season which follows through to the final show.

The original season of NJ was build around a potential showdown between Danielle and the Manzo family. This season it is built around the revenge. The conclusion is going to showcase the baptism of Baby Neanderthal at the Brownstone.

    The follow a certain theme.

    • boston02127 says:

The Brownstone reminds me of a funeral parlor. Everything looks so out dated.

      • Had Enough! says:

There are lots of places like that in NJ. Big chandeliers, flocked wallpaper, mirrors. There are still lots of bridezillas out there who like those places. I know of one place that has a huge, false spiral staircase just for pictures.

      • PFinFL says:

Everytime they cut to Danielle’s house….it takes me back to the ’70s. I don’t understand why she won’t fix it up a bit. She spends money (probably Christine’s) to fix herself up but not the house she needs to sell? She could save so much by downsizing.

  50. Amber...Real Wife says:

    Olivia Just Kidding!

Gia is extremely obnoxious and her behaviour is appalling. Even though she is only 9 is it, she needs to be more humble and a little less materialistic. But with a mother like Teresa that will never happen.

  51. battgyrl says:

Just did a little research on Guiseppe “Juicy Joe” Guidice and found something potentially interesting. He runs a company in Towaco, NJ called 1576 Maple Ave Associates LLC. If you go to the link http://www.manta.com/c/mttmkbt/1576-maple-avenue-associates-llc you will see our Joe as the principle employee of a company of one. The company also makes less than $100k/annually – certainly not enough to maintain his wife’s lifestyle. Granted he probably has other businesses, but I find this curious!

Also, I did a google maps search for the business and there is a street view. Let’s just say it doesn’t appear to be the nicest part of town.

    • boston02127 says:

battgyrl~~I just found this. Maybe he does have another business. Also I didn’t know she had an online business.

Teresa Giudice is a true Jersey girl born and raised. Her parents emigrated from Italy and raised both Teresa and her brother Giuseppe, in an Italian Catholic home. She grew up in Paterson, New Jersey, where she met her “juicy” husband, Joe. The couple played house together as children and now own their very own dream house and have been married for more than ten years. Joe, an entrepreneur, owns several successful businesses throughout New Jersey. Teresa is a true housewife, if there ever was one, devoting herself to her four beautiful daughters—Gia, Gabriella, Milania and baby Audriana—and managing the household while still managing to stay “fabulous!” She shuttles her girls to dance, gymnastics, acting, voice and guitar lessons, while always making sure her home is beautiful and there is homemade dinner at the table each night—all without the help of a nanny, housekeeper or personal assistant. Before becoming a housewife, Teresa earned a degree in Fashion Marketing and Management from Berkeley College. She worked in the fashion industry in New York as an associate buyer for Macys before deciding to stay home with her children. She is the owner of TG Fabulicious, an online boutique. Her first book, Skinny Italian, a lifestyle title that teaches authentic, healthy Italian cooking with over 60 recipes straight from Salerno, hits stores in May 2010.

      • Had Enough! says:

The company REPORTED 100k. That doesn’t mean that is all the company actually took in. Obviously these people are not living on 100k/year.

  52. Amber...Real Wife says:

Is it my imagination or does Gia’s hair look darker. Step away from the Sun-In Teresa. Let the girls real hair color shine. Leave the Clairol and lo and highlights out of the girls hair. Can two brunettes make blonde children? Absolutely. Can Teresa help herself from turning a brunette child blonde? Absolutely not!

  53. boston02127 says:

With Kelly and Teresa each having degrees, one from Columbia and the other from Berkeley I shouldn’t be as nervous as I am to start state college in June. If I’m as lucky as the two of them I can be an attorney by September.

    • mia says:

I don’t think she went to the Berkeley you might be thinking of. There is the famous University of California at Berkeley and then there is Berkeley College which I think is a tech school with satellite campuses.

I wonder if Joe is making some money under the table. I remember last season, Theresa paid for a boatload of expensive furniture with cash.

    • Had Enough! says:

There is NO WAY to discuss this topic without getting into ugly stereotypes. Now, when she went into that furniture store and started to rack up the bill, I turned to my husband and said (knowing many women like this with husbands like that) “You watch. She is going to pull out a big wad of bills and pay in cash.” My husband, who grew up in a different culture, refused to believe me. Cash transactions leave no record, except when it involves banks, which are required by law to report cash transactions in excess of 10k (which is how they got Spitzer).

    • PFinFL says:

Last night, Joe pulled out a wad to pay for furniture that was being delivered and gave the guy a big tip as well.

    Teresa has a college degree??!!

    Who’d a thunk it?

Like my grandmother used to always say (Cajun French was her first language. So, imagine the accent), “Mais [But], Mon Dieu [my God]!! Fan me wit’ a BRICK!!!” (Translation: “Oh my God!!! You have got to be effin’ kidding me!!! THAT idiot has a DEGREE!!! Well, I’ll be a monkey’s uncle!!”).

Despite my saying this…..(ducks head), I don’t know why….but I kinda like Teresa (ducking head again — both in shame and in response to the things you guys are throwing at me). She pissed me off with her initial alliance to Jill, but she seems to have backed off from that. And she seems to be laying off Bethenny. I can’t explain it, but I kinda like her (ducking head again).

Excuse me while I go somewhere to figure out why I kinda like her….

  58. Shadowsnomore says:

UGH! I think I’ve just subjected myself to permanent brain damage by watching RHONJ! I now remember why I don’t watch this show….These people are horrid. There is not one redeemable quality about any of these people. None of them are remotely likable. They all exploit themselves, their children, and business to get their 15 seconds of fame. They are as horrid as Jill, Luann and Kelly! At least RHONY have entertaining and likable women such as Bethenny, Alex Sonja and sometimes Ramona. I now need to go and consume massive amounts of pinot grigio to burn this episode

    • A former Jill fan says:

you’re lucky–we don’t have any spirits in the house! LOL! 😉

    • Shadowsnomore says:

  59. A former Jill fan says:

I saw this on Andy Cohen’s facebook

The dad of the baby with cancer said Danielle was wrong to use his baby’s illness for revenge and stands up for the Manzos.

I didn’t watch this whole episode, but did want to see how Danielle acted. She hasn’t changed. I already knew that. That Kim woman with Danielle lied about what that Manzo boy said to her. Kim is to Danielle as Jill is to Kelly.

Bravo seriously needs to fires these housewives with serious problems: Danielle, Kelly, Jill

I’ve rediscovered reading after reading Alex and Simon’s book and was finishing Murders in the Rue Morgue during this episode with the tv muted most of the time.

Bravo needs to clean up these housewife shows. I doubt they decided to hire Danielle to be on the NJ show without first knowing her background.

I like NY without Jill and without Kelly!

    • vilzvet says:

How is Alex and Simon’s book? Is it worth buying? BTW, Jill’s book is coming into my library this week and I cannot wait to read it and confirm how awful the “advice” is.

      • Had Enough! says:

Holy cow. Every town and city and county in this country is in financial trouble, even my very wealthy county is slashing budgets left and right. Library hours are being cut and acquisition budgets are down to nothing. And your local library is wasting your tax dollars buying this drek?

        • vilzvet says:

  60. Shadowsnomore says:

I’m going to go get drunk and pass out in bed. Maybe the alcohol will numb the effects of watching RHONJ from corrupting my soul too much. Hell, RHONY has made me jaded! I just don’t want to become permanently damaged and start expressing myself as articulately and sanely as Kelly!

I am watching NJ at 11:00 pinot grigio at the ready.

    • Shadowsnomore says:

Good luck! You may want to have a priest on speed dial. You may have to exorcise the RHONJ demons from your soul. They are evil!

    • A former Jill fan says:

I may have to take a road trip for some spirits this week! LOL! 😉

      Good night everyone!

  62. katiecoo says:

Oh brother…her showing up with her bodyguards is just upping the ante of her showing up with her book and tossing it out on the table during a party. Talk about a walking Buzz Kill. She thinks bringing an ex con to a charity function dressed inappropriately with her “little psychological F-U”. I have to agree with Dina. Sociopath. Who would be friends with this nut?

    • katiecoo says:

oops sorry for this sentence that went nowhere up there. I think I’m lulled into some kind of narcotic coma over here.

      • Shadowsnomore says:

I’m lulling myself into an alcohol coma to burn this show from my memory! All of those women are nuts and so unlikable. They are evil! My poor brain can’t processes the awfulness of these people.

    • PFinFL says:

Funny how Danielle called them bodyguards and then switched to calling them her entourage…..this lady is truly in lalaland.

  63. lillybee says:

I really prefer Lulu in a one shoulder dress over the way Caroline looks in one.

  64. Amber...Real Wife says:

Hard to watch the show as we keep peeking into the face of insanity. In other words, Danielle. She is nuts. Certifiable. However, unlike Kelly, she was targeted by her fellow housewives. Like it or not, Dina and Caroline set out to destroy Danielle. Teresa just joined in for the ride once Danielle insulted her husband. Did Danielle have a sordid past? Absolutely. Should they have warned the townsfolk? Only if they needed help carrying the torches and pitchforks.

    • Had Enough! says:

I have to say that what the Manzos did when they found out about her past was just human nature. Who among us, when learning something that huge about another person, wouldn’t discuss it with other people? Don’t get me wrong. I am no fan of any of these women. However, I don’t think they set out to destroy anyone. They were doing what anyone would do in similar circumstances, with or without cameras.

I can’t remember which magazine or website first published the story about Danielle and the book, but it is completely normal for people to google one another and so not surprising that the Manzos would have learned about the book. And again, I seriously doubt that any of us, that anyone, would keep quiet about something like that. Danielle obviously thought that no one would find out, or that she could lie about it, even after the court documents were released. All of which is consistent with her delusional thinking.

  65. katiecoo says:

Ok watching the RHONY previews for Ramona’s vow renewal. I see Bethenny in the front row w/ Jason and Alex and Simon sitting behind, then on the other side of the aisle is Jill plastered up against Luann …looks like Jen behind them and Kelly next to her on the aisle. Not sure if I can spot Sonja anywhere….
And sadly, Ramona looks as if she has a booger in her left nostril during her vows. 😦

    • Kat says:

Bummer. Really. She hand her a tissue quickly…

      • Kat says:

        My last typo tonight.

        • katiecoo says:

          lol nitenite kat.

          • Had Enough! says:

I can’t find this preview – I see only “reconciliation” which has the wrong video behind it, “preparing for renewal” which is in the salon, “Jill surprises Ramona again” which has Jill barging in on Ramona as Ramona gets ready (because she’s got to be the bestie who is so special that she has to spend one-on-one time with the bride), and Bethenny heads to Soho (about her move).

Where are you guys seeing this preview of the ceremony?

  66. lillybee says:

Lol, Theresa just referred to Danielle as a hobag. Is this term exclusive to the housewives francise I never heard it before.

  67. Shadowsnomore says:

Bravo why have you unleashed this terror of a show upon us? You and these women are evil! I’m drowning myself in alcohol to try to erase the damage you have caused to my brain! Goodnight all! Hopefully I will recover most of my sanity and sensibilities after a good alcohol induced sleep. Till tomorrow…. pleasant housewife dreams to all! Dreams free of Luann, Kelly Jill and the RHONJ! Oh, I’d like to say once again before signing off……I HATE JILL ZARIN!

  68. Shadowsnomore says:

One last thought before I go to bed. It really sickens me that Bravo would allow a charity event for a child with cancer to be exploited this way. Danielle was trashy for using the event to try to get revenge on the Manzos and try to one up them. Shame on all the Manzos for allowing Bravo to film this travesty at the event. All of these women could have told Danielle that they would not be attending the event so there would be no reason for her to fear or be uncomfortable. They all used this child’s charity event to try to make each other look bad. They are all manipulative, evil, exploitative pricks to use people in such a manner. I hate them all!

    • vilzvet says:

To be fair Caroline stated in her Bravo blog (they are all must-reads this week, hers and Jacqueline’s go into excruciating detail of what went down) that they begged not to have the event filmed. This episode cancelled any chance I had given Danielle of a fair shake. This was all inexcusable.

  69. otaypanky says:

Just watched Sonja and Luann with Andy. They both say Jill has a really big heart and that her trying to be like Bethenny this season backfired on her.
Sonja also says that Kelly is an excellent mother.

Also watched Jersey wives. Definitely back to feeling bamboozled. I do believe these women know they are on a show and ramp stuff up for air time. I feel for myself that perhaps I have taken some of this stuff too seriously. These shows are definitley edited to produce an emotional response and they succeed.
    Good nite all…

    • TLM says:

I don’t even give them enough credit for editing to produce an emotional response. There was just no “there” there, and just making quick cuts in a promo is not going to change that. The central plot of last night’s show seemed to be the misinterpretation of a line that “you’re in for a big surprise” because they were overdressed (although the punk she brought with her showed up in a black t-shirt and jeans). What were they planning to do exactly if things didn’t go their way, kill everyone there? Her friend who is on parole wisely decided he didn’t want to wreck that in order to be a plot point for Danielle, and so they all left. Wow, what an exciting show. What a bunch of idiots. Danielle’s delusions of grandeur never cease to amaze. No one cares about this woman, yet she’s preparing for an imaginary attack at any moment.

Did anyone notice Danielle’s melodramatic line, “Big mistake… huge!” that she whispered in the promo? That was a line from Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. Lame.

      • Had Enough! says:

I hate that pseuo-mafia shit. What did she think would happen? That her ex-con friend who had only six days left on his probation would risk going back to jail for her? That the Hell’s Angel, who didn’t know her from Adam, would disrupt a charity event for a sick kid? Then she doesn’t know the outlaw culture at all. They don’t like being exploited, and she’s much more at danger from an angry outlaw than she is from the Manzos.

She either thought (in her deluded mind) or wanted us to think that she’d been invited to headline this event, that she was invited because her name would be a draw. Instead of just being invited to attend and pay like everyone else.

I can kind of understand her friend Kim G. not correcting her at the event. I think she just wanted to get out of there as fast as possible and not cause a scene. Contradicting Danielle is always a bad idea, and under those circumstances, it would appear that Kim G. was in cahoots with the Manzos, so it would have been dreadful.

Where the fuck is Gerald Staub and why isn’t he petitioning for custody?

      • PFinFL says:

Kim G. started looking uncomfortable continuing to adjust her shawl at the end of the evening when Danny started throwing out faux threats for the camera. Bet she doesn’t hang out with Danielle anymore and if she does…she is the dumbest person in the world.

        • vilzvet says:

On a side note Kim G though still relatively young must have been a knockout in her 20s. She has such a pretty face. Does anyone think with all her wealth that she has had any work done a la Danielle?

  70. katiecoo says:

Was there a WWHL episode on tonite okay? Kelly, an excellent mother? Oh dear….

I remember Jill herself saying she was trying to be like Bethenny but it backfired. She’s even blaming her bad behavior on Bethenny. Sorry Jill, you get to own this season 1000%. This is one place where it IS all about YOU.

    • katiecoo says:

I meant to say “otay” there and hit the wrong reply button…I’m so sleepy now I’m delirious…nite!

      • otaypanky says:

        Can’t sleep and I have a 6:30am appt. sucks.
go to andy’s facebook page. you will find a WWH episode with sonja and luann.
just watching all this pretty devestating stuff, breakdowns, normal people becoming evil, suburban women threatening each other…just not 100% buying it. it’s all too weird.
that tatooed guy with danielle did time for musceling some businessman but he also wrote a screenplay, got it produced with name actors and is an actor. the hell’s angel never showed his face to the camera.
For me, I think I have to realize that these are reality actors and actesses “bringing it” for a show and realizing there are professional film crews and editors making a product to jazz viewers up.

        • Had Enough! says:

Otay – yes, they are definitely concocting scenes on purpose, but I do believe that the personalities are pretty much real. Exaggerated, to be sure, but real. First, we know too much from the off-screen antics, and everything we see off-screen is consistent with what we’ve seen on-screen. Like the stories about Jill and the charity event last summer, or Jill in the store. Like pretty much everything we read about or by Kelly – it is all consistent (despite her lame efforts to the contrary) with what we’ve all concluded about her. Second, while I think the presence of the camera distorts their conduct to an extent (you know the theory in quantum mechanics that a system becomes a fixed state only when it is observed and until then, alternate states of being exist simultaneously), the reactions to what are concocted situations are still the reactions they would have had to real situations of a similar nature.

Let’s not forget that all the BS between Jill and Bethenny took place off-screen and in the off-season. I absolutely believe that Bethenny would say something like “you need to get a hobby” – even without the rest of the statement that would put that in context. I absolutely believe that Jill would say things like “we are done” and “you need to leave” and “I thought we were friends but now I know you are not my friend” – had they never appeared on camera, ever.

I absolutely believe that LuAnn is a phony without an ounce of class and I absolutely believe that Ramona is a bit loony.

In other words, I think the producers and editors are just magnifying what is really there.

I think it is safe to assume that Bethenny and Jill have not renewed their friendship. Jill was not at Bethenny’s wedding. She tried to scoop Bethenny about Bryn’s birth, and got it wrong. It’s pretty clear that Bethenny isn’t confiding in her, and I doubt the reunion show changed that.

My guess is that Bethenny accepted an apology from Jill-either at the reunion or during the showdown lunch-but nixed the idea of resuming any real relationship with Jill, other than an exchange of civilities when they happen to meet at functions, etc.

I think Bethenny has moved on mentally. She doesn’t need Jil, doesn’t want Jill, and is probably relieved at no longer being caught up in Jill’s melodrama attacks.

  72. Quincy IL says:

Up way to early, lots to do today so my brain woke me up before the birds.

Watched Jersey… Train wreck… Danielle’s makeup was really good for the Brownstone Event. She looks great at times.

Kim G is really angry with Caroline. They must be the two Queen Bees in Franklin Lakes. One hive is out to destroy the other hive, thus the Kim G/Danielle friendship.
Who does that? Women with more time and money than common sense.

My son in law has Italian family in Brooklyn and Long Island. They came to the wedding in New Hampshire. They were very loving and great guests. There was the same accents and the familial roots that you see with the Manzos and Teresa, but not the Danielle drama. Thank goodness.

  73. morning says:

I find myself watching, literally, NJ. I keep hitting the mute button and leaving it there. Of course I do the same thing when Jill comes on NY.

  74. morning says:

And, good morning to all you other early risers (not sooooo early on the east coast…..)

  75. Smompy says:

“Danielle. She is nuts. Certifiable. However, unlike Kelly, she was targeted by her fellow housewives. Like it or not, Dina and Caroline set out to destroy Danielle. ”

Eh, I don’t know. To me Dina didn’t do all that much to hurt Danielle. She gossipped about her I guess, but no more than Daniellie gossipped about Dina. As far as I know, Dina didn’t make any phone calls; trying to screw with Danielle’s custodial rights or speak to her ex husband about the welfare of their daughters. Dina generally tried to avoid Danielle for most of the season. And although Caroline clearly hates Danielle, she didn’t really do anything to “destroy” her either, technically speaking. All she did was tell people what she thought of Danielle, and she also looked up a book, (which was recommended to her by a so-called friend of Danielle’s) and share the contents of that book with her family and friends. At the time Danielle wasn’t some innocent new neighbor who simply wanted to make friends and “fit in” with the others. She was a delusional, totally dishonest troublemaker right from the get-go. The way she stalked and obsessed over Dina was pretty freaky if you ask me. She was always searching for Dina and being overly physical (giving her long creepy hugs, etc) whenever she did manage to get close to her. I recall her once saying something like, “Nobody understands how much I YEARN to be close to Dina” even though those two had never really been friends in the first place. Apparently they were acquaintances and got along well enough in the beginning, but Danielle’s only real friend among the Manzos (or anyplace else it seems) was Jacqueline. And clearly Danielle was trying to come between Jacqueline and her in-laws. Hell, she even tried to manipulate poor, dumb Jackie while they were both on camera. Of course Jacqueline didn’t want to believe that was happening last season, so she chose to ignore all the obvious signs.

I actually have a feeling this is why she eventually became so virulently ANTI-Danielle. I mean, I think Jacqueline wanted to remain loyal to Danielle, so she convinced herself that Danielle does have a good heart and that other people do criticize her and pick on her unfairly. And now that she’s finally woken up and realized that she was wrong about Danielle, she suddenly feels like an idiot for ever supporting the conniving, deceitful sociopath. That’s my take on it anyway!

Just for the record, though, I don’t like any of these women and have stopped watching the NJ show altogether. Caroline is not someone I admire or like, but when it comes to Danielle, you have to admit she’s been right all along. I give her credit for having that much common sense at least.

Oh, also, not to imply that criminals should never be forgiven for their crimes, or that Danielle is necessarily the same person now as she was 20 years ago, but it kind of bugs me when people act like she was just some wayward party girl who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time – that she somehow isn’t a “real criminal.” Even if you put aside all the things she was charged with and just look at the things she actually pleaded guilty to (in her plea agreement) Danielle still comes out looking like a bad ass thug who was involved in some seriously violent criminal activities. The guy that she and her boyfriend kidnapped and held prisoner was in fact beaten and tortured repeatedly over a period of days, and Danielle was right there with her boyfriend. IIRC she also made at least one of the threatening phone calls to the kidnapped guy’s father in an attempt to extort a ransom. Plus, the sheer volume of drugs that Danielle was holding and transporting is staggering. These were not small time street corner drug dealers by any means. So I think she’s extremely lucky she got off as easily as she did. I guess they must have really needed her testimony to convict the boyfriend and figured it was worth it to let her slide. Anyway, I’d feel a lot safer around Bernie Kerik than I would around Danielle, though I’d probably keep both hands on my purse around either one of them:)

    • desertgal66 says:

Agreed about Danielle’s criminal history. She was a real criminal who copped a plea bargain. That’s it. If she hadn’t squealed, she would have served hard time. She’s not exempt from guilt.

    • Amber...Real Wife says:

I agree that Danielle indeed had a sordid past. It was however, in the past. She wasn’t hooking, or dealing or kidnapping anyone at that point was she? Yes she did all of the above, and if anyone got that scoop they’d probably share it with others. However, where we split, amicably I hope 🙂 is the destroy issue. Yes they wanted to destroy the image that she was just an oversexed divorcee that should be watched around the married men. They made sure that she wasn’t seen as just a single mom struggling to survive with the kids. They showed the book everywhere hoping to discredit her and alienate any friends that she had. They weren’t building her a clubhouse. They were destroying Danielle’s House of Cards.

      • emt2 says:

Danielle is hard to defend. And I have defended her to the hilt but she just goes to far. This season, she is in a bad place and currently she is in a bad place. I don’t like any of the other women because they are bullies and hypocrites but Danielle just searches for reasons to be involved with those women. She makes herself look bad over and over again and she never realizes and admits when she is wrong.

Who the hell uses a benefit for a sick girl with cancer as a forum to carry out a vendetta against the Manzos and brings ex-felons and members of Hell’s Angels for protection?

And she is delusional. In a way that feels very different from Kelly’s delusion. Danielle is dealing with real-life criminals, violence, etc. Kelly is just defending her bad behavior and sitting in her room rocking back and forth. Danielle goes to great lengths to involve her children–physically, mentally and emotionally.

She is so dangerously obsessed with these women and she likes drama.

I liked how she didn’t say anything to her felon friend who called Chris Manzo a faggot considering how upset she was with Teresa’s husband for calling someone gay last year.

Danielle looked crazy during her talking heads as well.

This whole series has to go. The storylines are boring and contrived and I personally, am not invested in any of these characters. They are all boring and the Danielle drama is played out.

    • sbh says:

I completely agree with you. Who walks into a charity function held indoors with seating arrangements and expects to be able to bring 15 extra people and for the function to be prepared for that? Did she call ahead? Someone said that she bought a table, so maybe she was expecting that, but really, she walked in late (the place was jampacked) trying to sweep in and make a presence. I have a problem when they do that at the best of times, but here in this context, how ridiculous. The parents are obviously simple people (and isn’t the baby a beauty!) and the brownstone held the charity there–as part of the charity! this was not the ‘forum’ for Danielle is putting it nicely.

  76. TLM says:

Strangest Bravo bonus clip… Kelly is overwhelmed again by dating talk, and serves jelly beans with cocktails. http://www.bravotv.com/the-real-housewives-of-new-york-city/videos/drinks-at-kellys

    • morning says:

Ok, here’s my question. Why jelly beans? I mean, to me they are the candy of last resort. They are the candy you eat when you’ve been dieting and you crave candy and find them stuck in the back of the cupboard.

      • Had Enough! says:

And so Kelly gets a taste of Luann’s passive aggressive digs, but she’s too stupid to recognize it. She sort of gets it (it is like her mother talks to her…too bad her mother obviously didn’t talk to her enough). Heck, she thought it was cute when Jill criticized her for “like” – “I’m Jill’s little project.” No Kelly. It isn’t that Jill is fond of you and is taking you under her wing. She took up with you to get back at Bethenny and doesn’t actually like you. In fact, you annoy the shit out of her. And now she is stuck with you.

Then there’s the false 42-yr-old virgin act. Do we really think all these guys she’s dating go away happy after a sparkling, intellectual conversation with Kelly and a peck on the cheek? Baloney. Either she’s a serial cock-teaser (possible, I admit) or she’s doing what any normal 42-yr-old woman who is desperate to get a guy would do.

How does she not get that these women are laughing at her, not with her?

        • vilzvet says:

Obviously this is all cutting room floor stuff. But there was a nosy tidbit from LuAnn, asking the others if their ex-husbands were indeed “generous”. She asked them point blank and all Sonja said was along the lines of “he’s actually trying to take some of it back”!

      • Kokuanani says:

and find them stuck in the back of the cupboard.

Or between the pillows on your couch, or in the cracks in the back seat of your car.

    • Just a Commoner says:

That was from early in this season. Kelly really doesn’t know about food and wine, does she? Besides the jelly beans, there were olives, a very small hunk of Parmesan cheese, green grapes, some light colored donut-looking things, and a bowl of something that looked like Wheaties but it could have been something that went with wine. All on a large carving board meant for roasts. First she poured they were drinking something out of green glass stemware, then we see her pouring something yellowish out of a liquor bottle (not wine), they we see her pouring white wine or champagne into champagne flutes.

She also implies that her mother is critical of her when she compares Luann’s snarky comments to those of her mother. Interesting.

And Kelly’s the one who says that having them over for “cocktails” is good practice for her in case she meets a nice guy and has him over for cocktails. “I’ll know what to do,” she says. But then she freaks out when the talk about men and dating and what’s appropriate and what’s not appropriate continues. WTF?

Also, she’s 42. She needs practice in serving snacks and wine? What’s she been doing for the last 20 years?

      • Had Enough! says:

Her mother must be a piece of work, too. Living in Rockford, Ill and buying Azzedine Alaia suits and buying them for her teenage daughter? Shoving her daughter into the modeling world in NYC – and we’ve never had so much as a hint that she went with Kelly to supervise. Kelly was supposedly a tomboy who hung out with the cows and did cartwheels in the field in east nowhere illinois and all of a sudden she’s in NYC and wearing high fashion…without appropriate adult guidance.

Which explains why she’s so completely incapable of dealing with the real world (being stooooooooooopid doesn’t help) and why she has no idea how to be a mother.

Maybe her mother, seeing how stoooooooooopid the kid was, figured she’s better make a few bucks off her looks and hunt for a rich man while she could.

      • vilzvet says:

Hey don’t forget this is the MOTHER who LITERALLY doesn’t know how to make pancakes for her kids.

  77. A former Jill fan says:

I agree pretty much with smompy. I don’t think the Manzos did much of anything to Danielle. I sure as heck wouldn’t want anyone with Danielle’s past near my family without an extra dose of caution and if someone told me about her past and where to find out more, I’d sure look into it. With the way Danielle has always acted, I sure wouldn’t seek out her friendship or try to include her in family activities.

  78. TLM says:

Sonja apparently still has homes in the following places besides New York: Connecticut, Colorado, St. Tropez, Miami, Palm Beach.

  79. TLM says:

The repeated use of “like” is getting to me in this clip. It’s hard to keep count. http://www.bravotv.com/the-real-housewives-of-new-york-city/videos/how-did-kelly-get-discovered

    • Kokuanani says:

I am gonna be REALLY pissed off if Bethenny & Jill “buried the hatchet.” The only place any hatchet should be buried is Jill’s skull.

C’mon, Bethenny, you don’t have to maintain what would be a totally appropriate and understandable “you suck, Jill” attitude, but don’t let this bitch get away with “apologizing” for her abominable behavior. Make her suffer SOME consequences!

  80. Had Enough! says:

” @JenHicks7 when my kids see the ramifications of systematic bullying, they are learning more than you think about 13 hours ago via web in reply to JenHicks7″

And what, Kelly, did they learn from watching their weird-ass stoooooooooopid mama bullying a pregnant woman who’d just lost her father? What did they learn from watching you call her a hobag in response to something Sonja said, in jest? Or yelling at her for talking about her father’s death? You say she exploited it, but unless your kids are as stoooooooooopid as you are, they can see that you exploited it at least as much as she did, by continually criticizing Bethenny on camera. If you really felt it shouldn’t be exploited, you wouldn’t have talked about it.

What did your kids learn about treating people with respect when you did these things?

I am at the point where I could live with Jill returning if it meant getting rid of Kelly. It’s the devil’s bargain, I know. Kelly is so awful a person. She has not one redeeming quality. Whereas Jill must have something worthwhile going on. I can’t figure out what it is, but she must. When her flaws are not on camera-driven steroids, maybe they are tolerable? Whereas Kelly is just awful to the core.

    • boston02127 says:

@Had Enough ~ I agree about being able to live with Jill coming back and getting rid of Kelly. Jill is fun to hate. Kelly is draining. So draining.

  81. boston02127 says:

On NJ last nigth did anyone see when Jacqueline went to Ashely’s boyfriends house to meet his mother? They introduced themselves and within an hour or two were getting buzzed and Jacqueline had her head in the mothers lap. I think Jacqueline is so sleezy. She tries to act so high and mighty and she’s so dumb and sleezy.

    • TLM says:

That scene was just sick and sad. They’re meeting to talk about making sure their kids are responsible, and promptly get drunk themselves. It looked like the next scene was going to be the woman’s son coming home and discovering his mom and Jacqueline in a sexual encounter. I can’t stand this show.

    • LynnNChicago says:

I found that very strange! Going to meet the woman was fine but why are they getting so drunk in the middle of the day? Who does that? Lying like that and eating grapes, the whole scene was disturbing.

Has anyone looked at Jacqueline’s or Caroline’s blogs? Jac’s is so long I couldn’t read it all, she uses the first two paragraphs to talk about how long the blog is and if you dont like it, tough shit and how it is all about Danielle and if you dont like it, tough shit. Jacqueline is beginning to get a HUGE head! She is sucked in by the 3-4 people who kiss her ass on Twitter.

Caroline actually made a list …all numbered nice and neat for those who can’t keep up….a list of Danielle’s actions. Caroline tells us to “Think back” about 20 times.

      These women are ALL crazy!

      • ridicurhony says:

Lynn, I think Jac’s blog is the reason why I just said, no huh-uh, not going to watch this show anymore. You can say what she says about Danielle in 2 sentences.

      • boston02127 says:

Caroline who doesn’t want to talk about Danielle used her name ten times in her Bravo Blog. (I counted) Oh God, I need a life.

    • Adios Lunatic says:

That was such an uncomfortable scene and seemed oddly out of sync and out of place. Probably a set up for something coming — like Jac got so drunk that she started telling stuff or something.

When I watch NY I laugh or yell at the TV but when I watch NJ I feel uncomfortable because these women make such bad decisions on every level.

      • LynnNChicago says:

Shows a few more housewives who think viewers are stupid..do Caroline and Jacqueline really feel the need to post numbered points for each scene of the show?

Caroline & Jac – WE SAW IT! But thanks!

      • sbh says:

What bothered me the most–no mention of how Jaq got home, it is the middle of the day, is she going to drive? won’t she see her kids later? what kind of example is this for Ashley? I was so not impressed. and the scene with Jac and Theresa drinking, are they breastfeeding?

    • sbh says:

I thought that the very first time I saw her in Season 1! She made me think of a Vegas stripper (being from Vegas never took that impression away) that had somehow married the rich guy stuffing dollars in her g-string, who now didn’t want to do anything to screw it up–hence not being able to stand Ashley who was causing problems with her new life.

The Life & Style “scoop” on the reunion doesn’t seem to be much of a scoop. It says the reunion, taped last Wednesday, was the first time Bethenny and Jill have seen each other in 9 months, so that tells you where the relationship went after the final episode: nowhere. Which is pretty much what I expected. In the promo when Jill asks if she wants to get together again, Bethenny looks like she’d rather get a root canal without anesthesia. (Can you blame her?).

I fully expected that Jill would cry at the reunion and say she is sorry, as the spoiler says; the series is over and she’s become one of the most hated women on television. What is she going to do at this point, say she thought she was right? She’s trying to redeem herself in the audience’s eyes and do whatever damage control she can, but it’s too late.

Maybe it’s just me, but I think most people will be watching the reunion to hear the aftermath of Kelly’s breakdown and what, if anything, was done about it. I think Jill and Bethenny are a dead issue.

    • error 404 says:

their lunch was 5 months before the reunion, not 9.

9 months ago was sept, and they met 1. at the fashion show, 2. at Ramona’s apt, 3. at the Gotham party, 4. at Jill’s “surprise” st john’s visit and 5. at the lunch that airs this week.

They’ve met on camera 5 times int he past 9 months. God only knows if they met off camera.

Lynn: Go Hawks!!!!! How cool are the helmets on the lions? Love it. Gonna be ugly in Philly, though.

Off to sit in doctor’s waiting room all morning for 5-minute appt. Maddening. I’m on a project deadline, too. Mom Is Not Happy about this part.

More later. Y’all have a good one.

  85. LynnNChicago says:

The more I think about it and the more I see these crazy videos, the more I truly believe that Kelly’s kids do not live with her.
In this video, she says something like, “when my kids are over”. I took that to mean that they “visit” her but don’t live there. Also these videos seem to scan through her entire apartment and there aren’t any additional bedrooms for the kids. There is the kitchen/living/dining area on the 1st floor then upstairs opens into just one bedroom, Kelly’s.
I could be wrong, maybe she just chooses not to show the kids room(s) but if that’s true, where are they? I think between all of these video’s, we’ve seen her whole place and it is small!
This is just one, if you look at “related” video’s there are several of her that tour her NY apartment, does anyone see anywhere that there could be additional bedrooms that I’m missing? I truly think these girls live with their dad.

    • morning says:

I sure hope you’re right about the “when my kids are over.” But in the video TLM posted above, doesn’t Luann ask her where the kids rooms are and she indicates they’re somewhere not near hers? I’ll have to watch it again. Still could mean, hopefully, that it’s just where they sleep when they visit. Of course it also could have been a fake question to make us believe her kids live with her.

    • boston02127 says:

I don’t think her kids live there either. Hopefully not. She’s such an idiot. Just watching that short tape makes me want to slap her.

      • Satchels of Jelly Beans says:

P.P.S. For a “major tastemaker”, she sure has a limited range. Her Hamptons house is exactly the same from the zebra rug and the shark on the wall. More examples of how she just reproduces what she sees and hears.

Oh dear god! I think she said the trainer told her whenever the dog’s not outside or in a kennel, it should be tethered so it won’t get into trouble. At least I think that’s what she said, she’s so f#%ing unintelligible and the quality of her videos is so amateur.

      What an idiot!

  86. Olivia says:

The only reason to watch the NJ series is for the comic relief. There is no reason on earth to watch it because of the ridiculousness of the storyline, the disgusting behavior of its cast, and the excessive spending that accompanies anything involving Theresa. The entire ensemble is beyond any form of likability from any perspective.

The Bravo producers, apparently against the advice of Dina and her husband Tommy, insisted on incorporating a “make believe showdown” between Danielle with her insanity and the Manzo family by filming an episiode that was built around a fund raising event to help a child stricken with cancer. It does not get more disgusting than this.

To ramp up the ratings, Bravo allowed that Fruit Loop to disrupt an event whose intent was to help an ailing baby. How much lower can a network go than to let Danielle manipulate scenes with her ex cons, tough guys, and conjuring up fake insults to showcase her “victimization”? The bottom of the barrel was successfully reached last night and Bravo owns it.

The characters throughout this franchise could not be less interesting. Any conversation (with the possible exception of Theresa and her frequently visited chuckie) is built around the pretend drama of Danielle. In “real life”, the commonsense answer to the problem is just ignoring this fruitcake but Bravo has created an atmosphere that borders on an imagined “smackdown” and a Soprano like lifestyle. It makes absolutely no sense whatsover and is a total embarrassment in creating a storyline that is beyond credulity.

Upcoming “drama” involves a hair pulling contest which ends up in a courtroom. The only question remaining would be to ask why these women would actively subject themselves to this exposure and malevolence? What would drive these people to such lengths?

Danielle herself is on a book tour to promote her craziness and I would hope that few give her the attention she craves as most of this stuff is coming out of the minds of Bravo producers who are as craven as they are as money hungry to use an ill child to advance ratings.

    This stuff is beyond tasteless.

    • vilzvet says:

Great post! I just rewatched the episode and it was ALL a figment in Danielle’s mind. We saw the extra table being set up…why on earth did they not all sit down?? Why Kim G is going along gleefully with everything Danielle and Dumbo Danny said and did is beyond comprehension.

      • Olivia says:

Could be that Kim G is auditioning to become a “Housewife”. Bentley, driver, designer clothes. Obviously she is new to Danielle’s circle since she appeared at the “let’s celebrate Christine luncheon” where Danielle mistakenly took her for being a close friend to Caroline.

      • sbh says:

i think she had no idea how bad danielle was, by the end she looked furious (kim g). when the danny starts cursing up a storm, she wanted out.

and, when he said to the charity event planner, you’re here for a charity, well we’re here for the charity too! Exactly what charity were they there for? they didn’t pay a cent. even danielle–who in the previous clip is now wearing Christine’s jewelry!?, didn’t pay for herself.

  87. MAMAZ says:

I know this is OT but I want to address some of the Construction Company comments. I have family in the construction business and we are Italian American. Not every Italian family in construction is connected. Even paying in cash is not necessarily a mob thing. Italian immigrants in this country were mistrustful of banks and did most of their transactions in cash. Many old school Italians passed this on to their families. It’s a cultural thing although not all of us use cash. I use a debit card for everything.
Construction company offices are usually small and shabby. Unless they are an architecural firm which houses it’s own construction unit. The offices are frequently visited by men straight from the job site. If you have ever been on a construction site then you know how dirty they are. Money isn’t wasted on an office that will get mud, concrete, etc tracked in. Also many construction companies when work is slow will build offices, apartments and even strip malls and plazas that they lease themselves. These are seperate companies and would be listed as such. This is a very common practice for people in the construction industry and not exclusive to Italian Americans. This could be where Joe and Teresa get some of their money.
I am not a fan of any of the families from RHONJ. But the stereotype of the Italian construction guy being connected is getting old.

    • morning says:

Thanks for the education (that sounds kind of snarky but it isn’t meant that way.) I still find it hard to believe that anyone in construction is making money right now and around here, at least, there are already empty malls, offices etc. so no one is building more of them. But that’s just here. Let’s just hope that Joe isn’t like Lynn Curtain’s husband and unbeknownst to her, they’re about to go under.

    • Had Enough! says:

Sorry, Mamaz – I was not referring to Italian Americans. That’s why I said there is no way to discuss this without getting into ugly sterotypes.

I was referring to the women I know in NJ – some Italian, some Jewish – who are flashy and ostentatious and wear way too much makeup and jewelry and are all about appearances and status, but haven’t got much class. Their husbands are all in businesses that generate a lot of cash, or have side activity. This is not an Italian thing, believe me. And even if it was mob-connected, let’s not forget that the mob was just as Jewish as it is Italian.

I’ve lived in other areas of the country where this kind of thing is unknown and there were just as many Italians and Jews (and no, I am not knocking Jews, either – I am Jewish and I’m sure that there are lots of people like this who are neither Italian nor Jewish – it is just that this is the culture I grew up in so this is the culture I know). It may also be a distrust of banks, but I also think there’s a mentality that says “flaunt it.” Anyone can pull out a credit card, but not everyone can pull out 20k in cash.

As for construction offices – you are absolutely right. A lot of times, we bring our own experiences to this board, and say things that others need to explain, like the people who thought it odd that Jill’s mother had a cleaning lady. Those of us who grew up in middle class households of that era knew that it was normal to have a cleaning lady at least once a week, if not twice.

      • MAMAZ says:

morning and Had Enough – Thank you. I agree that there is a flaunt it attitude at work on the show. And you’re right that it shows no class at all.
I grew up in the Northeast. My grandparents both came here from Italy. My family and a lot of my friends families were very sensitive to everyone assuming we were connected. This was in the Goodfellows days. I won’t say that I didn’t know any Italian kids that misbehaved but most of us lived in absolute terror of our parents catching us doing anything illegal. They would have been so shamed by us perpetuating the criminal Italian stereotype. So we stayed out of trouble. And still people would ask us if our dad’s were mob based on our last names and the city we were from.
That’s not to say that there are no Italians involved in organized crime, lol. But most of the immigrants were decent hardworking people.
Bravo is playing up the stereotype. And Danielle is milking it for all it’s worth. I think she developed her Sicilian birthparents myth because it made her feel powerful. She doesn’t look very Italian to me but she’s had so much work done who can tell.

    • desertgal66 says:

Thanks for clarifying that issue. My dad was a contractor, and, as I recall, his office was usually in a trailer parked on the edge of the various job sites. Strictly functional, and definitely not opulent.

  88. Olivia says:

Having read the article where the father of the cancer stricken baby speaks out about Danielle’s involvement, he does address the fact that not only was it Danielle who approached him, but that in the end she only raised $300 in total donations.

It was also mentioned in the article that Christine’s school raised over $600 in donations. The sad fact is that Christine goes to a Catholic high school with a tuition rate of close to $10,000 yrly. This poor kid is being put in a position that must be agonizing for her each time one of these episodes are aired.

Cannot imagine what the administrators of this school must think with Danielle dragging her sordid past, her sex phone friends, the ex cons, the constant stalking, the sexual proposition with Steve in season #1, and her weekly insanity that passes for entertainment into the mix.

I ache for these two girls who must contend with this b.s. on a daily basis. And now that Danielle has been exposed for the disruption of the charity event, her profile cannot sink much lower. This should not be happening to them.

    • Had Enough! says:

It is one thing to have had a past. You can say to your kids, “Mom made a lot of bad mistakes when Mom was….” well, let’s see. She was born in 1962 and the arrest was 1986 so she was 24…but the bad stuff she was doing apparently went back a few years … she apparently left home when she was something like 16-18. So OK, Mom made a lot of bad mistakes when she was not much older than Christine is now and Mom was even arrested for doing some bad things. But that was all a long time ago.

It is entirely another thing to see Mom giving noonday hummers to guys 20 years younger, making sex tapes, stalking people, and all the rest of it. Bringing home ex-cons, hanging out with Hell’s Angels, acting totally nuts and irresponsible with money (pedicures, botox, etc. when she hasn’t got a pot to piss in). Airing even more dirty laundry in a book that is already being exposed as a complete fantasy.

I’ll bet those kids are gone at 18 and will be rarely seen thereafter. They seem like normal, smart kids who are just biding their time. Someone in their lives must be giving them support – maybe teachers, maybe the parents of friends.

      • boston02127 says:

When I was about fifteen my mother told to me that once you are married and have children you don’t want other mothers saying “oh I remember her”. In other words, don’t make bad decisions that will come back to haunt you.
It seems like Danielle’s whole life was bad decisions and she’s still making them.

        • Adios Lunatic says:

And never ever taking responsibility for any of her decisions — its always someone else’s fault. So sad for those two girls. I hope their father is providing some sense of stability.

      • misty'smom says:

except that it looks like even when she “ran away” is now in question. She clearly graduated and according to sources in her home town did not “get out of dodge” right away. late 18, maybe even 19 yrs old seems about right. She went to Miami instead of to college.

  89. Olivia says:

Let’s assume for a moment that the NJ franchise is operating on a false premise and the activities are just for entertainment purposes.

Danielle signed on to this knowing that her shady past could easily be discovered and made an issue on this show. Presuming she agreed to taking part in the fictional storyline of Danielle vs the Manzo family, she is still exposing those girls to her whims.

Then assume that this stuff is “real”, again she is exposing them to the very worst of her character and putting them in harm’s way as her psychopathy becomes more and more evident as time passes.

Either way she “agreed” by effort of a signed contract and this includes these kids being filmed as well. As a parent, her judgment for either side of the argument, real or imagined, leaves them in the most vulnerable of all positions since they have no control over what is shown.

It is the worst case of emotional child abuse ever to be filmed for the sake of ratings.

  90. Had Enough! says:

How screwed up is the Bravo website? Besides having the wrong video behind the preview entitled “reconciliation” they have a huge photo of Shrill’s breaking-and-entry scene in front of a sneak preview of the finale of 9 by design. Their incompetence is like, really, actually amazing. Do they have Kelly working on the website?

  91. otaypanky says:

That was not a real Hell’s Angel. He was only shot from behind and the hair and body type was meant to resemble the head of the organization (that actor that appeared on OZ). That’s why he never showed his face.
A genuine member would not have shown themselves in that light at a charity event.

    • LynnNChicago says:

I have to agree, anyone can patch Hell’s Angels on a leather jacket.
The Hell’s Angels also do their own charity work/events. Many for children and for veterans.

      • otaypanky says:

Agreed. As I posted right after I watched this episode, these are reality show actors and actresses. Nothing in this segment rang true…I mean nothing. I’d have to write a blog to cover it all.

  92. Olivia says:

I noticed that Hell’s Angels jacket and thought the same thing. Pure affectation.

The Bravo producers must all closely resemble Andy Cohen. Smarmy, grinning, booze guzzling over aged frat boys, who have cobbled together a formula that is based on demeaning women. And they have captured just the right mix of egotistical women to carry out the assault.

I honestly have no idea of what I am supposed to be watching. “Reality” or a bunch of very bad actors.

Am I alone in thinking that we may very well be getting duped? Or has my cynicism just rolled off the plate and onto the floor?

  93. Amber...Real Wife says:

I agree with you on several points. Danielle had a sordid criminal past. That was were it was. However, where we disagree, amicably of course :), is about Dina and Caroline trying to destroy Danielle. They alerted the townfolk in order to destroy the image she had shaped. She wasn’t just a single mom trying to support two kids. She wasn’t just an oversexed divorcee who had to be watched around married men. No she was all those things in the past brought to the present. Would any other person spread the gossip? Absolutely. But it was the Manzo’s who pushed it out and keep beating that horse beyond recognition. They weren’t building Danielle a clubhouse, but destroying her house of cards.

I’m not a Danielle fan, or any fan of any NJ wife. But I believe in karma. You mess with a crazy person and get ready for the horns. They thought she was crazy but thought they could hurt her and she’d crawl away. They never expected her crazy was monumental and she’d become there worst nightmare. They are wealthy and they could quit. I saw Jac’s blog where she says as long as Danielle is on the show, she’ll keep on writing about her. So now they have learned from Jill how to campaign for termination of a castmate. They want her gone? The show is boring now. Imagine with Danielle gone it’d be infants, shopping, whining, and Gia all day. Check please!

    • CdnFillie says:

      @ Amber

The Manzo’s may have pushed it out but I thought it was Danielle who kept beating that horse beyond recognition. Openly placing that book on the table during a dinner she was invited to attend along with her daughters tells me she wanted to perpetuate that kind of negative attention…in other words she got what she wanted and the Manzo’s gave her that opening.

      • Amber...Real Wife says:

Crazy is as crazy does. The book was all over town and everyone there already knew of it. Danielle’s kids, Caroline’s kids, Dina’s kid and Jac’s kid all knew about the book thanks to the Manzo’s. They all hate her, but especially hated that she brought out their cattiness front and center.

  94. suebhoney0423 says:

Hi all! Remodeling entire house and not much time to read all your comments…but I love them!

Found this little tidbit on Realitytea.com…she’s even crazier than I thought:

Ever since the infamous meltdown of Kelly Bensimon (pictured above on May 29th) on the Real Housewives of New York City, all of the housewives on the trip with her have all echoed the same sentiments, which is that her meltdown or “nervous breakthrough” was much worse than what was actually shown on TV.

We also blogged a week ago that we would secretly love to see the unedited footage of Kelly from the St. John trip, well we don’t have the video footage, but we do have the next best thing – a new article from UsWeekly magazine which gives us more details on what happened with Kelly.

    1) According to UsWeekly, the real hysterics happened later that night, and wasn’t taped or televised. Sonja Morgan tells the mag, “I took Kelly’s hand and said, ‘Do you think this is normal? I tried to calm her.”

    2) The “fight” continued off camera with a screaming match between Kelly and Bethenny. There was a lot of name calling, with “bitch” being the epithet of choice, until Kelly finally fled to her room at 11:30 pm.

    3) The other housewives stuck together and rehashed the events until about 3 am.

    4) The producers on the other hand had to calm Kelly. “She was on her bed, rocking back and forth,” says a show source. “She kept saying she thought Bethenny was going to kill her. It went on for hours!”

    5) The producers, who decided Kelly wasn’t in the mind-set to film, decided to send her home. They booked her an 8 am flight home to NYC.

    6) “No one thought she was stable,” says the source. Another insider suggests her outbursts were a result of mixing Valium with alcohol, but a source close to Kelly denies the claim to UsWeekly.

And there you have it folks. While Kelly’s behavior on the show is alarming, her behavior off the show is what continues to do her in. First she accused Bethenny of exploiting her father’s death for ratings during a night of posting nonsensical rants on her twitter page, and now she has decided to start an anti bullying campaign because her behavior on the show was a result of “systematic bullying.”

Here’s what Kelly wrote in her blog after the airing of the last episode –

“Stop systematic bullying! Tell a teacher, friend, or adult. Everyone deserves to be loved. Four against one is never OK.”

It however doesn’t end there. Kelly, who appeared to be flattered by being on the cover of UsWeekly, tweeted the following a few days ago, after the issue came out –

Kelly wrote under the pic – “Cover of us! Wow”

Perhaps Kelly should have taken the time to read the cover and the story before tweeting. But then again, she probably did read the story and delusion-ally thought it was a flattering piece.

Another issue with Kelly’s behavior on and off the show is her kids. Kelly has two daughters (Sea, 12, and Teddy, 9). If she really does have a mental problem, should her ex, Gilles Bensimon, be worried? Should he be stepping in? Kelly was also arrested for physically assaulting her ex-boyfriend last year.

  95. CdnFillie says:

ROTFL..just read NJ Teresa’s no holds barred blog. Didn’t think she had that in her 😛

      • vilzvet says:

Oh Lordy, one of her latest tweets is that “the episode was good tv and that she is glad that it happened”….

    • otaypanky says:

…and not one “like” in the entire statement. much of this show is scripted also.

    • HD says:

YES!!! I tried to commenton her video and it says “You have been blocked by the owner of this video” YES!!! I have been trying to get on the blocked list by one of these idiots, Jill, Luann or Kelly! I am not sure why I was blocked, probably because I laughed and called her an idiot when she made Kellade. Either way, I feel good and Kelly is still an idiot! LOL!

    • ElleNYC says:

omg, thats like the pot calling the kettle black. They are both delusional, but Danielle seems quite evil, while Kelly is just drinking her own Kellaid. Here’s another example of Kelly’s foot in mouth disease from today’s Page Six:

The Playboy cover girl said, “This just shows how things are changing for me, I used to pose in bikinis, and now I pose with puppies.”

And if this has been posted previously, apologies in advance!

  97. ElleNYC says:

Hi Everyone, this is completely off-topic!

Just in case anyone is interested, a Bethanney Frankel interview is being aired tonight, 06/01/10 on Access Hollywood, NBC 7:30 pm EDT.

Maybe she will say something about the re-union? I know, most def. a plug for her new show, but she might she mention the mean girls. Hmmm, or maybe not.

  98. vilzvet says:

Jill has a Facebook message claiming 10K copies sold of her book, could that be possible?

    • otaypanky says:

Is she counting the truck load she bought herself and is now trying to unload from Zarin Fabrics, signed and with free tote?

      • ElleNYC says:

And it is only rated 2 stars on Amazon, with 195 reviews. Never saw a book rated that low on Amazon….it sure was a hit, right?

        • otaypanky says:

maybe jill should offer a free skinny girl marguertia with her book.

          • Had Enough! says:

Just so no one has to go hunting, let’s remember what the guy who runs NovelRank told me: the sales data are absolute figures, not in the hundreds or thousands. So on Amazon (by far the world’s largest bookseller) she’s had about 350 sales in the U.S. Now NovelRank told me that one sale of multiple copies still counts as one sale. So of course it could be more than that if someone bought two. Or two thousand. And if you add in Barnes and Noble and bookstores, lets say she sold maybe 2,000 copies total.

Let’s just say that there are far more comments on A. Chandler’s review than there were books sold.

          • MAMAZ says:

            Slam! Good one otaypanky.

      • katiecoo says:

lol…that would account for at least 80% of the sales right?

  99. otaypanky says:
