I Hate Jill Zarin        Jill Attacks Alex and Simon       June 12, 2010

Jill has been relentlessly attacking Alex over the last few days and it is time to explore why that is…

Obviously I’m a fan of Alex and Simon but even before meeting them and seeing how absolutely wonderful they are (not to mention seeing their love for each other) I was a fan because of the gracious and classy way Alex has been depicted on the Real Housewives of New York.  Anyone can talk about editing and what Bravo chooses to air, they can say we don’t really know them and on and on.  Here’s the thing though, what we see is real, they aren’t given scripts, they aren’t playing characters on a TV Sitcom or Soap Opera.  What we see them say, they really said.  What we see them do, they really did.  Period!   With all of their complaining of editing, has one of them ever been able to prove that their actions or words are not their own?  Nope!

Here are Jill’s tweets during the show:

Jason was very nice to me when we worked out together. He didn’t have to do it if I was such a horrible person did he?

Lynn:  Jason doesn’t like you, that has to cut deeply so I’ll let that go….

If B ever cared about me…she would not have done this to me. I would NEVER have let this happen to her. EVER.

Jill RE-Tweeted this one….KaleyMargaret    @Bethenny is crossing the line right now… don’t take blows at @JillZarin’s husband and daughter.

B admitted I wanted to talk off camera to make up. Don’t you get it. I wanted to TALK TO MY FRIEND. It was real.

Lynn:  Jill, you are the one who put the argument on national Television, why should Bethenny agree to talk to you off camera, you were untrustworthy!  Who knows what lies you will tell after a “private meeting”?

Now B doesn’t remember? She told @bravoandy I never said I wanted to talk off camera? She is deflecting. And now hurting my ally?

Lynn:  YOU hurt your Ally by putting her problems on television!

I always wanted to be on an ensemble. I did want to be with B and would miss her. I was so happy for her. I was the first person she told.

Lynn:  Hmmm.. but who is NOW with B?  Resenting Alex for being on Bethenny’s Getting Married? just a little bit?

B told me not to film with Kelly…everyone has tried to control filming etc. Don’t throw stones

You bet..we all make money and wanted the same thing

Lynn:  Bethenny may have asked you not to film with Kelly but not in an attempt to sabotage the show, only because she didn’t want Kelly on the show and MANY viewers share the sentiment!  You even said it Jill Zarin!

give @kikilet some love people. She did NOTHING wrong…just wanted to be on a tv show to make money for her kids. Seriously…don’t be mean

This is from Jill Zarin’s blog (over ½ of this blog is about Alex McCord)

Alex.. what can I say. Again..we were never and are not “friends”. I am very clear in the friendship chapter of my book ( Secrets of a Jewish Mother) what it takes to be a friend etc. We wrote it when all this was going on last fall. It saved my life. My mother was trying to teach me ( again!) the lessons of friendship. Relationships are the hardest thing we ALL have to work through ( spouses, children, co-workers, friends) and it takes work. I think that is what people were so invested in this season. Many of you reading this have told me you had an experience similar to this) . People were curious to see what would happen and also compare our relationships to their own. The premise of REALITY TV is “Better you than me!” or ” I wish I were …”

Lynn:  Don’t forget to mention the Book, Jill

There are still things I wish I could have said and things that were cut out. For example…Alex had NO PROBLEM asking Bobby and I to give her $2000 worth of fabric for FREE for her fashion show. Why did Bravo cut that out?? Because it would make me look good? Because it would show that I was trying to be her friend and the audience would see through her plan? Alex’s plan was to make noise to stay on the show. Jen Gilbert was cast to be a potential replacement. I didn’t do it. Bravo did. In fact I spoke to Silex about it..about how they should do something. Well, I guess this was what they figured out to stay on the show. I only wish them well but I don’t see us ever being friends again. They went below the belt and did things off the show that are unforgivable including accusing fans of being me on Amazon reviews. It is disgusting. J Samples is NOT ME. Never was and never will be. I hope people who read the book write reviews on AMAZON or wherever they purchased it and write a fair review and not be intimidated by people. People used Amazon as a blog for the show. I feel terrible that my sister and mother worked so hard on this book with me and are being hurt by all this.

We already know that Jill wants Alex off The Real Housewives of New York, she doesn’t like Alex and this blog is my attempt to figure out why.

Jill mentioned the donation that Zarin Fabrics gave to Brooklyn Fashion Week.  Apparently $2,000 worth of fabric was donated to the charity that produces the fashion show. (2 bolts = $2k?  you do the math)  Ok, that was a nice thing to do but let’s talk about why she did it.  Zarin Fabrics was on the step and repeat as a thank you for her donation.  The donation and fashion show was filmed by Bravo so Jill was expecting to see it on the air, more free publicity for Zarin Fabrics.  Bad news Jill, Bravo chose not to air the donation scene, Alex didn’t choose not to air it, the producers make that choice, so why are you trying to blame Alex?   (every housewife has mentioned scenes that they wish were in the show but didn’t make the cut)  I’ll bet Alex has dozens of scenes showing her children behaving well that she’d love to see aired!

Jill says in the first paragraph, “We were never and are not Friends”  then just a few lines later Jill says, “I was trying to be her friend”.  Pick one Jill!

Jill claims that Alex was “making noise” to secure her place on the show.  Jill thinks Alex was concerned about her place on the show and that Jennifer Gilbert being brought on was a threat to Alex.  I don’t intend to speak for Alex but …..bahhahahahahahah.  Jennifer Gilbert?  Really Jill?  Another theory blown to hell, huh Jill?  If this were true, would Alex have offered to be the one to introduce Jennifer in her storyline?

The bottom line is that Alex doesn’t need to “make noise” she is a beloved member of the cast and whether the show picks her up for another season or not, her fans will stick by her in whatever is next in her life!

Jill’s new accusation is that Alex supposedly tried to put a story in the press about Jill and some charity issue.  Naturally, Jill has given no details (what about a charity?) and she has given no sources, (who told you that Jill?) nor has she mentioned which publications, (Who did Alex supposedly contact Jill?)

If this were true, why hasn’t it come out before now?  Why did Jill save that bombshell to throw at Alex during the reunion?  Everything else we heard on the reunion show is basically old news that is being rehashed or is being discussed to try to uncover what really happened.  This is something new that no one has heard.  If there were FIVE different sources, doesn’t it stand to reason that at least one of them would come out against Alex’s attempts to sully Jill’s reputation?

These reporters/bloggers are quick to put stories out there of Jill doing things like this.  We read about Jill’s “people” sending out stories to RealityTea, even writing the text for them to print and sending art.  Come-on Jill!  We heard from two other reporters telling us that Jill tried to get them to write reviews for her book.  Reporters told us what Jill was trying to do.  Why would FIVE reporters cover up for Alex?

Jill is lying, I can say that as if I know it for a fact, because I do know it for a fact.  Do I have proof that she is lying?  The burden of proof is on Jill.  She needs to prove something DID happen, there is no way to prove that something DID NOT happen, particularly when she won’t name names or even publications.  It is impossible to go to every single news outlet, blogger and reporter to get confirmation that Alex did not contact them with a bogus story about Jill.  Jill knows this.  Her four publicists sleeping on her floor know this.

Why is Jill doing this?  Easy!  She doesn’t want Alex on the show next season.  Jill has said privately and will say publically that she will not be on the show next season if Alex is on the show.  We all know that Jill cannot stay out of the spotlight.  She can’t even keep quiet for more than a few hours during her self-imposed break from Social Networks.  She will implode if she isn’t on the show next season and since she’s already said she won’t be on the show unless Alex is gone, she is going to do everything in her power to ensure that Alex is history.

Personally, if I were a Bravo executive, Jill wouldn’t be anywhere near any show that airs on Bravo!  Here’s why.  Jill tried to tell the other housewives not to shoot scenes with Bethenny, Jill  wants Bethenny to swing in the wind all alone and let her show fail.  There is no other reason for her to try to influence the other ladies to avoid Bethenny.    Bravo executives even asked Ramona if she was going to listen to Jill and refuse to film with Bethenny.  Clearly Jill wants Bethenny’s  show to fail and actually tried to make that happen.  It is one thing to “wish” someone fails, it is another to take steps to try to make that happen.

Does this show loyalty to Bravo?  Does this show loyalty to her “friend” Bethenny?  If we ignore the fact that Jill continues to say that she only wishes the best for Bethenny and she loves her and misses her.  What about Bravo and its television line up?  Its advertisers, its ratings and its success?    I would think that Bravo spent a substantial amount of money filming, producing, editing, promoting and airing Bethenny’s Getting Married.  Are you allowed at your job to try to sabotage a project that your company has put substantial effort into?  I would think not!  I would think that is grounds for termination!

Back to Alex, Jill can’t undo what she’s done.  She can’t now appear on the show if Alex is also on the show without looking ridiculous!  She can back pedal, she’s done that many times before but she would look pretty stupid.

Jill’s behavior at Luann’s event during fashion week showed me that she had no intention of taking Alex seriously, Jill thought that it was going to be a repeat of Season One and Season Two.  Still taking no responsibility for what she said, we watched as she said, “you should put in your parenting book what to do when your kids crawl up someone’s leg….bahahaha”  Evil Jill!  Jill thought she could strike the children and viewers would still love her?  Think again Jill Zarin!

Jill called Alex and asked her to refuse to film with Bethenny.  Clearly, Alex said “no”.  Jill tried to appease Alex at the Saks event by primping Alex’s hair and adjusting Alex’s earrings but in the end said, “Do you feel better?  You should!”  In Jill’s mind, it was done!  It was over, she didn’t have to deal with Alex anymore.  It was clear to two million viewers that Jill had swept it under the rug and rushed through an insincere apology and rushed away to her “guests”.  In Jill’s mind she has control over Alex and can manipulate Alex whenever she wants to and Alex will fall back into line.

To use Jill’s words, “Jill doesn’t deserve to be in the same room with Alex’s boys!”  During the visit that Jill made to Alex’s house, they discussed Bethenny and then apparently Jill spent some time with the boys.  If the rest of the visit was anything like the few minutes we say, I pity Alex for having to deal with this woman around her children.

Jill was more worried about one of the boys stepping on her yapping ugly dog then the boys getting bitten by that overgrown rodent!  The dog bit Ally, if I were Alex that dog wouldn’t make it over my threshold.  What makes Jill think she can bring that horrible dog to other people’s houses!?!?

Jill tried to back-peddle by saying, “I didn’t mean it how it came out”.  Yet she said on television, in an interview that Alex appeared to be channeling the devil and that Alex may have the body for modeling, but not the face.  Look at who is talking!  We haven’t seen Jill walk the runway, have we?  I guess they couldn’t find a Size 1 dress for her to wear!

Jill has made a career of back peddling , nothing is her fault,  everyone else made her do it, her daughter saw an obscure tweet so it was Ally’s fault she spewed incorrect information about baby Bryn, other people do the same thing or worse.

So Jill has thrown down the gauntlet!  She has basically threatened Bravo that she will refuse to return to the show if Alex is going to be on the show.  For my purposes, I am thrilled.  If Jill walks away or isn’t invited back due to her malicious attempts to sabotage Bravo’s new show, I will watch and enjoy The Real Housewives of New York even more!

If Jill gets her way, (highly doubtful) and Alex is no longer on the show yet Jill is, I won’t be watching so either way,  I don’t have to watch Jill Zarin on TV ever again!  Oh Happy Day!

Finally, I would like to extend my congratulations to Bethenny Frankel, Alex McCord and Simon VanKempen for showing the class to ignore Jill Zarin and her absurd rants and raves!  Thank you to Jill Zarin for making these three people look even BETTER to fans, to the press and to Bravo executives!

Until Next Time…….

  1. Snarkapalooza says:

As usual, spot on Lynn! Also notice where Jill says of Alex and Simon, “I only wish them well but don’t ever see us being friends again.” WTF? She can’t even keep her lies straight within the same paragraph.

  2. Bobbi says:

Great blog, Lynn! Totally agree with what you’ve said. If Jill is truly trying to repair her image, she’s wasting the money on those four publicists because she’s doing one piss-poor job of it. I’m really looking forward to the next two installments of the reunion.

  3. MickeyMouth says:

But tell us how your really feel Lynn, lol.

  4. LynnNChicago says:

Katie-I hope you don’t mind I thought this was a really good point, so I brought it over to the new blog:
    by Katie
May I add whilst I review this reunion again, that it’s RAMONA who says “why don’t you two just go in the bedroom” to which Jill responds “no I’m not. I’m not being sabotaged like this”. Bethenny is willing to give Jill “the benefit of the doubt” because she remembers that SOMEONE said something about going privately in to the bedroom to talk and guess what? It was RAMONA, right there on camera. And Jill saying NO. I wish someone had caught that obvious contradiction (among many) right there on the reunion. This chick needs to be cross examined by the likes of Nancy Grace to point out all of her inconsistencies. Now that is another one I’d do PPV for.

    • SunshineNYC says:

I was 99% sure that someone (I thought first Ramona, then Bethenny) suggested going into the bedroom to talk and Jill said no. THANK YOU! I tried to find that part of the episdoe online and couldn’t. It was driving me crazy! LOL! Jill is liar and she knows it!!!

  5. Gypsy says:

Another spot on analysis! Lynn, I know that this blog takes a huge amount of work. I appreciate your hard work and know it’s why it is so popular.

  6. Teresa says:

I read Reality Tea on a daily basis, and I must say…the writer is NOT a fan of Jill Zarin either. Lynn, I enjoy your BLOG about the housewifes more than any other format (and I look at many). I believe many other sites get there information from your blogs.

The only thing I would change is the “I hate Jill Zarin”. It makes you look less credible. Your blogs are articulate and factual, and you deserve the recognition.

  7. Need a Hobby says:

Jill says “J Samples” of Amazongate is not her. And I’m willing to believe that “Samples” is someone other than Jill. But while Jill addresses the “Samples” issue (where I figure she likely knows she’s on safe ground with the denial) she’s also deflecting attention from something that’s less a matter of speculation. Notice that Jill does not deny being “Susan Saunders” on Amazon.

Remember, the whole Amazon thing started when someone noticed that “Susan Saunders” who gave “Secrets” a 5 star review on Amazon was using an old Jill Shapiro account.

Screenshots of the “Susan Saunders” account profile and the review (before they were scrubbed) are still available on the net. Here they are on Gawker’s site : http://gawker.com/5521140/real-housewife-jill-zarin-reviewed-her-own-book-on-amazon

    • Need a Hobby says:

Oh yes, I forgot to mention that “Susan Saunders” also left a nasty comment to A. Chandler’s Amazon review of “Secrets.” That too is in the screenshots posted on Gawker’s site.

    • The thing about that J. Samples is, that stupid idiot doesn’t realize how much she is hurting Jill with what she is doing. People don’t believe jill or samples and most continue to think they are the same or that samples is someone close to jill. But let Samples rant and rave because it only hurts jill more. Neither win as long as Samples continues on…so she’s (he or it–who really cares!) really helping to make jill look bad. 🙂

  8. Sofi says:

How come Jill is never asked to walk the runway? You made a good point there. After her breast reduction, she probably hoped she would be asked to model. In fact, she is the ONLY housewife who we have not seen model or known to have been a model! That must hurt.

    • faninma says:

Remember back when Jill was looking at apartments with B. B made fun of Jill’s and-then-there’s-Maude ensemble.

Jill’s taste really hasn’t changed much since then.

    • Free Ginger (formerly known as wolverinedg) says:

Perhaps she was asked, but said no. We all know she thinks Brooklyn is way beneath her.

    • firepainter says:

She never wears a bathing suit either. I wondered if that was part of the reason she didn’t go to St. John. She’s always got something negative to say about Ramona wearing a bikini – she’s so jealous.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Maybe Bethenny wasn’t the only wife that didn’t want to tell Jill about “their” projects because then they would have to have an uncomfortable conversation with Jill as to why they didn’t want her participating. With Alex not asking her it was also likely to deflect all the Brooklyn bashing remarks that would have detracted from the event.

    • DLA says:

Lynn said we can talk about anything on this site so I really want to know…

Why the hell do women who are blessed with breasts..

      Want them small?

  9. jane says:

so now she is saying she is not susan saundres , hmmmmm, nice try. She is always digging her grave ,she doesnot need help , oh jill!
we are not friends, no it did not come out right blah blah blah …… if i were her i will fire the PR roup and totally go underground, because people have very short memory, but Jill is the ultimate nitwit, soooo go dig your grave ,the rest of us lay back and enjoy the train wreck .

    • Need a Hobby says:

No, Jill is saying she’s not “J Samples.” She may very well not be “Samples” and the frequent confabulation by folks on the net of “J. Samples” and “Susan Saunders” benefits Jill because she can focus the discussion on a poster who was not her and thus deflect attention from the use of another Amazon account that actually can be identified with Jill.

Jill doesn’t mention “Susan Saunders” at all, because “Saunders” Amazon profile (before it was scrubbed of personal info) was identifiable as Jill Shapiro’s account with Jill Shapiro Zarin’s birthdate, etc.

  10. Margo Channing says:

‘The bottom line is that Alex doesn’t need to “make noise” she is a beloved member of the cast and whether the show picks her up for another season or not, her fans will stick by her in whatever is next in her life! ‘

I HATE JILL ZARIN EVEN MORE AND BYW? HATE IS JUST ANOTHER 4 LETTER WORD…

I believe EVERY SINGLE THING that comes from Bethenny and Alex, so JiZ…..KISS MY ASS YOU LYING “NY BITCH”

    The End…DONE!

    • Real Bullsh!t says:

JILL is a four letter word. So is VILE and UGLY and C^NT.

    • BravoFan44 says:

I think Alex has come into her own in the last season, but she was NOT always a “beloved cast member.” As a matter of fact, she was probably the most hated Season 1…and was merely just “liked” on Season 2…

      • Rabble Rouser says:

        ITA
Until this season, I didn’t really care for either of them. I thought they came across in the first season as desperate social climbers who in reality didn’t have enough green to feed the machine (enough money to keep up with the Jones) . Nor did I care for the way that it looked like Simon was always trying to elbow his way into the show.

How ever this season I think “Silex” were less caught up in the bullshit. Really, who gives a flying fuck about what 2’d rate fashion shows they or anyone else is invited to.
I found them both to me much more relatable this year. Thank God- because they were ‘sofa king’ annoying last year.

Jill doesn’t realize how much she contradicts herself. she is saying Alex did shady stuff to secure a place on the show. Then in other interviews she tries to excuse her own bad behavior by saying that Bravo exs told her unless she brought the drama ‘she wouldn’t be holding the apple’.
Where I come from- we call that a wash.

  11. Tootie says:

I had similar thoughts earlier today, about Bravo’s reaction to Jill’s attempts to sabotage Bethenny and the new show. They MUST have deliberated how to respond, as they obviously knew what was going on (according to Ramona, production called her to talk her out of doing what Jill requested). I think they would have had grounds to take legal action against her, but they decided not to. They decided to go a different route. Perhaps they decided on “the edit” that she got. If they did? Smart move. They got what they bargained for, unharmed by Jill, and in fact were able to ramp up the value of two of their products (RHoNY and BGM). If they meant to do this, then Bravo, Bravo! Well-played.

Jill is a major control freak and must be royally pissed, first that her efforts failed, second, that they backfired on her, and third and finally, that she was exposed. We have seen her response to exposure and bad press: storm away. Seems to me she will do the same thing with Bravo. She’ll leave the show. She will try to parlay her fame (infamy) into another show with another network, and may well succeed, because she does put asses in the seats. Clearly Bravo and TLC (Gosselins) just love a good trainwreck… because VIEWERS love a good trainwreck. But she needs enemies to succeed (at being a hateful bitch). Which brings us to Alex.

I do not think this is a conscious attempt by Jill to keep a high-profile enemy. But it doesn’t take a conscious effort, it comes very naturally to her, having an enemy. She NEEDS an enemy, she really does. This goes back to the very first episodes of the whole NY series: remember how truly angry she got at Ramona for not inviting her to some random, small cooking party. Watch those episodes again, she admits, in he own words, she was sore about it for WEEKS. The theme repeats itself, as Bethenny points out – she is always picking fights. She needs an enemy, and I mean that literally, she NEEDS it, for some reason. It is only natural that that enemy becomes the woman who seems to have taken her place with Bethenny.

Poor Alex. But you can’t live in fear, and the only way to deal with a bully is to stand up to them, period. And there is a silver lining: to the extent Alex uses her celebrity for her own purposes (and I don’t begrudge her that one speck), Jill’s active animosity helps sustain that. If Alex can laugh it off as well as Kelly can, and “pick her battles” by substantively responding only when truly merited, she will do fine. Correction: she will CONTINUE to do just fine.

I loves me some Alex and I’ve quite warmed up to Simon, too (although his fashion choices? *shudder* Alex has my respect for letting her hubs dress like he wants, I personally would not have as much self-restraint). I think they’re a great couple – different, yes, but they are so on each others’ wavelength, and Simon truly loves, adores, respects, has fun with, and is hot for his wife. What else could a woman want?

    • Dolce says:

I’ve said this previously, does anyone remember in three years of espisodes Jill being happy, not backstabbing somebody or just plain old having a good time? I don’t.

      • Tootie says:

        I LOVE that question.

But then… that means… we should all pity JZ, not hate her. What a sad life.

      • bellatara says:

Thank you! I have always felt this way, going back to the 1st season when she made a stink with Ramona having some small dinner party in the Hamptons, she was always a POS. There are soooo many more I just can’t type them all!

      • Jennifer says:

This is why B said ‘ get a hobby’

      • shantygal says:

I’ve thought that too, Tootie. I don’t recall ever seeing her flat out having fun. Nothing spontaneous. Everything is done with an agenda. Even that stupid walk in the park with Luann. Why couldn’t she wear a sweatsuit and sneakers and go walk in the park with her friend? Weird.

    • iwannabeanarchy says:

WOW. These are all great points Tootie. Especially your theory on Bravo’s reaction to Jill’s plot to destroy Bethenny and her spinoff. That certainly seems to make the most sense.

I need to go back and watch Season 1, but I do remember how Jill made such a big stink about Ramona’s cooking party. Other things that stick out about Jill’s awful behavior in the previous seasons are 1) when Bobby buys that Mercedes for her birthday and she bitches him out because it is the wrong one because there wasn’t a dock for her iphone, 2) the way she treated Brad, here “gay husband”/minion – the scene where the TV Brad selected for her newly redecorated apartment was the wrong size and she threw a hissyfit and made him get it out of the apartment and store it at Zarin Fabrics, comes to mind . I think the only reason so many people were blindsided by Jill before and thought she was such a good person is because she was always kind and warm towards Bethenny. Now we all know the real reason behind that was because she realized that Bethenny was the “star” of the show, and wanted to ingratiate herself with her, in order to ride her coattails later.

  12. Adgirl says:

Wow, another great take down of the Mouth.

Again, I have to say the reason (I believe) we flocked to this site earlier this season. We needed a forum to air out our extreme shock of the emerging “Jill Zarin” persona.

Whaaat! I use to love you Jill? Who is this awful person?

Were you kidnapped? Are you an evil clone? Was I blind & deaf before?
    No. Nope. YES.

Thanks to Lynn’s fab recaps & analysis, we’ve continued to vent our displeasure (and enjoyment) of the epic fall from grace of Jill Zarin with all of you.

    And I LOVE ALEX!

  13. Hooked On Housewives says:

Ouch. Jillousy should be feeling that pinch from way over here. Outstanding blog Lynn. Absolutely right on the money. Even more importantly is that it is all fact. Nothing contrived. Nothing made up. Eat shit and choke Jill Zarin. That’s what you deserve. Long live BRAS.

  14. Bella_TR - Tara says:

I know you pointed this out Lynn but these were my favorite lines….

Alex.. what can I say. Again..we were never and are not “friends”.

Because it would show that I was trying to be her friend and the audience would see through her plan?

I only wish them well but I don’t see us ever being friends again.

I Don’t get it?! lol Doesn’t this dumbass have someone to proof-read her garbage? Seriously like pick one… friends or not friends.. I love how she continues to make herself sound like a giant ass! And just like you said Lynn, she just keeps making the GREAT ladies look even better!

    Awesome blog as always.

    Tara

  15. boston02127 says:

    @Lynn~~Kudos!

  16. Free Ginger (formerly known as wolverinedg) says:

Sure, Alex put a gun to Bobby’s & Jill’s heads & said “Gimme fabric or I’ll pull the trigger.”

More like Alex mentioned she was helping out with the fashion show & would Jill like to help out in any way. She may even have asked her to help select the models, but was turned down.

And I can see 2 bolts of fabric = $2000. Have you priced high-fashion fabric lately? Yowza.

    • Tootie says:

Even non-high fashion fabric could easily cost that. I buy batiks that cost $10/yard, for example. 100 yards on a bolt x $10/yard = $1K/bolt x 2 bolts = $2K. So don’t assume the Zarins donated the good stuff! lol

the real point, anyway, is again JZ’s need to keep score. As someone else said, when you do charity, you keep it to yourself, you don’t shout it from the rooftops to get the “credit” for it. geez. grow some class JZ. if she didn’t actually want the credit she would qualify her comment, by saying something like, “we were glad to do this and we’re not looking for praise her but you should know…” Something, ANYTHING to make it clear she isn’t praising herself for charity. But she didn’t say anything because she IS praising herself for her “charity”… which is the opposite of what it’s supposed to be about!

      • Free Ginger (formerly known as wolverinedg) says:

Well, Jill says $2K, but what I want to see is the Zarin Fabric tax return & how much they wrote those bolts off at. Betcha it was nowhere near $2k.

    • Real Bullsh!t says:

It was a tax write off! The 2 lousy bolts were probably $200, but Jill probably claimed and is still claiming 2000 to shaft Uncle Sam.

    • LynnNChicago says:

Free Ginger – I should qualify, the fabric was for the stage, not for the fashions. Alex requested two bolts of anything they have laying around…

      • Free Ginger (formerly known as wolverinedg) says:

Hey Lynn! 🙂 No biggie, someone else pointed out it didn’t even have to be high-fashion fabric to reach the $2k mark. Fabric stores like Zarin’s sell fabric on huge bolts, not the dinky ones you see in regular fabric stores, so even their cheapo stuff could cost that much. (and I’m being incredibly generous with this benefit of the doubt because I don’t think for a minute that the tax write-off on this item was only $2k)

The more I think about it, the more I’m thinking Alex asked everyone to help out–be a model, select the models, etc. Jill pulled a hissy (because it was in Brooklyn) & refused to do anything, so Alex asked “Well, could you at least donate some fabric?” as a last resort. LuAnn, apparently, was the only Housewife to do nothing with the fashion show.

        • Real Bullsh!t says:

Yet Alex donated a Cavalli dress to Luann’s cause…

          • Adgirl says:

Your donations are at retail – not wholesale. So 2K would be around $500, depending on mark up.

I just hate the way she throws things like this in people’s faces, As if they are using her then dumping on her afterwards.
            “I gave her a home!”

        • Squirrels says:

Actually, my guess is since Jill was left out of everything else besides an invitation, she offered to donate cloth during or after her visit to Alex’s. That way she’d be in a front row seat at the show and all decked out. How to insure you are the belle of the ball in one easy lesson. (Oops. No one sent her the dress code). Her snips at those walking the runway? One could guess that she was uncomfortable being overdressed. (which she wasn’t in my opinion. Sometimes, anything goes.) That was pure Jealous Jill. She always seems to be on the hunt for validity.

          She missed.

  17. fredthecattravels says:

    Great post Lynn!

I don’t know if this point has been made but if Jill wants so desperately to make up with Bethenny and is crying over the lost friendship, why is she tweeting such nasty shit about Bethenny on facebook?

Did anyone else pick up that Bethenny said she didn’t know if SHE would be back to the RHONY and it depended upon the cast? My guess is that if batshit crazy Kelly returns, Bethenny is out of there.

With Bravo’s highest rated premier ever and such good reveiws for Bethenny Getting Marrried? I’m guessing Bethenny is going to be calling the shots.

More reason to just STFU Jill.

FWIW, I’ve always liked Alex and Simon since the first season since I worked in the hotel industry and met Simon a couple of times at various events. This was several years before RHONY and he really was a nice gracious hotel GM.

    • Squirrels says:

I hate to but I must disagree. If Jill needs to be on the show for financial reasons, Bethenny would be the last person to stop her.

I do agree with Bethenny not allowing Jill to run her. As I see it, Bethenny would bow out but for a few drop in shots, but I cannot see Bethenny walking back into that snake pit.

If Jill hasn’t made it abundantly clear by now? Color me stupid and put my crayon back in the box.

      • Squirrels says:

Kelly is a different story. She’s simply bad for the franchise. If Bravo doesn’t see this, they are fools.

  18. Amber...Real Housewife says:

Jill barely tolerated Alex as a castmate S1&S2. She felt Alex was a nobody, from Brooklyn no less. Always giving Alex unwanted suggestions and criticizing her husband and kids. She wasn’t important or rich enough.
S2 started with her attacking Simon on Page6 and calling him a drunk. Simon I believe referenced her being from Lawwng Island, reminding all of her very humble roots. Yet, they still filmed together even playing tennis.
Prior to S3, during the standoff, Alex didn’t side with Jill. She chose to film with Bethenny and that is when Jill set out to not only ruin Bethenny’s show, but to get rid of Alex. She started planting the rumor that SILEX wouldn’t be returning.
In the drama of S3 Alex, hives and all, found her voice and refused to take insults lying down. She also formed an alliance with Bethenny.
This sent Jill into a rage, with all of her anger now divided between them, until Bethenny’s life changed with her engagement and baby. She had to backpedal and act contrite in order to get some of the publicity heading Bethenny’s way. When that didn’t happen, her hate was directed at Alex because she was no longer a doormat and because she was Bethenny’s confidante. She was further angered by Alex’s rise in popularity and now success with her book. She wants Alex gone.

    • Real Bullsh!t says:

I remember a cringe worthy visit from Jill S2 when Alex was redoing her home. When Alex said they were keeping the original molding, Jill said something like – it’s not like this is an old time apartment on 5th Avenue and was originally owned by the Rockefellers – basically telling Alex her place was a shit hole with no aesthetics or value, and insulting her taste in one sentence.

      I HATE JILL ZARIN

  19. Free Ginger (formerly known as wolverinedg) says:

And please don’t take Jill’s bad dog ownership out on Ginger. I hate it when dog owners do nothing to their dogs except turn them into neurotic messes. True, I don’t like barking rats (Chihuahuas), but still. Ginger’s a mess because Jill has made her one. If she had a better Alpha female to follow, Ginger would be a great dog.

    • Tootie says:

You are so right. There are no bad dogs (and no bad kids) – only bad owners (and bad parents). It is bad parenting in both cases that creates behavior problems.

besides, @GingerZarin is kick-ass funny on Twitter!

    • LynnNChicago says:

Free Ginger – my apologies, you are of course correct! Dogs are typically the result of their owners. However, I stand by not letting Ginger near childen, she bites! Jill’s fault, probably, but she bites nonetheless.

      • Free Ginger (formerly known as wolverinedg) says:

Yeah, def need to keep that dog away from kids…at least until she’s got an owner who knows what they’re doing with dogs. 🙂

    • Real Bullsh!t says:

Jill & Ginger look like twin sisters separated at birth. Now the question is – how did a cow give birth to twin rats?

  20. Hooked On Housewives says:

Maybe that’s why Bravo wants Patti Stanker to come to NY. Jillousy can help her find millionaires for her piece of shit show. Imagine the two of them on the program at the same time each trying to out yell and out boss the other. But Jillousy will bring such panache to the show with her choices of millionaires from her fabulous circle of friends. NOT.

Just thought of something Lynn. We can try and fix Ally up with Bethenny’s new assistant Max then Ally can be on Bethenny’s show. LOL. Talk about instant heart attack for Jillousy.

  21. anniieee says:

@tootie— my thoughts exactly–Bravo probably had a powwow after hearing what Jill was planning…and let Jill, by her own words and actions, hang herself..sure selective editing–but you what–Bravo knew what she was from season 1 and 2 and knew she was a bitch.. wonder how much nasty of her we DIDNT SEE in 1 and 2. And the whole time she thought she was the Queen Bee.. yeah she was Queen Bitch. She is laying in her bed as we sit.. crying..how can I fix this…its all their faults… I am nice, I am a connector…Love me some Team BRAS!

    Great blog as always, Lynn…

    • Tootie says:

      “I’m a connector”

yes. and now we know the real reason why she likes to connect people: to collect an IOU from everyone she introduces!

      • anniieee says:

That is soooo true… she tried to connect Alex’s sons to the private school…. but her talking head was so negative about the entire episode with alex. I hate me some JZ…

Remember how she said… I bring people and things together..thats what I do… what they need, I find for them. Yeah right.. Then why the hell hasnt she found a mental health facility for Kelly or a voice coach for LuMann? If she was a “friend” she would do that…. connect them?

        • Squirrels says:

BTW… Alex/Simon’s kids never got into a private school. They ended up in public school. Somehow I think that’s a great thing. I don’t care how you toss around school names and reputations. It’s how the parents interact that makes for a great school year.

        • DLA says:

She is just using the Crazy K. And this is why I now HATE JZ.

      • Squirrels says:

        I’m a connector?

        I’m the decider?

oh… never mind. I can’t even begin to go there.

  22. Amber...Real Housewife says:

For ladies who loved Jill’s shoe with the tag and shoes that look designer..? Or faux designer…?

    http://www.redshoessole.com

Just in case someone missed the link.

    • fredthecattravels says:

Amber, thanks for that site but I wonder if those aren’t counterfiet Louboutins and YSL? I’ve never seen those brands that cheap even on sale.

      Counterfiet does support terrorism.

      • Amber...Real Housewife says:

Notice I said faux designer… I came upon this site when I entered red sole shoes etc before knowing the name. Hey you don’t have to commit a crime. Just look! LOL

      • Real Bullsh!t says:

(I am not in favor of counterfeits, but saying that it supports terrorism is/was a scare tactic scheme made up by the government)

    • HD says:

I keep reading about this tag thing -please explain…does Jill have the pricetag on the bottom of her shoe?

      • Real Bullsh!t says:

YES! – the size of Texas. Her PR ppl suck – and that’s a good thing:)

      • Free Ginger (formerly known as wolverinedg) says:

So she could return them to Saks & get her money back. One of the oldest tricks in the book. I guess having the price tag on the soles meant she couldn’t put masking tape on them to hide the wear & tear they get from being worn.

    • TLM says:

Wow, never heard of this site. I might be tempted to buy, except that I can’t walk in high heels (nor can I understand how any other women can), nor can I fit into any of those Herve Leger dresses. LOL.

  23. RileyKitty says:

Jill expects us to believe that Alex has a hand in the editing? How else could not showing the donation by Zarin Fabrics be part of Alex’s plan? Alex said they have ZERO say in the editing of the show. But let’s just pretend she did, wouldn’t that mean Jill had a hand in how she was edited this season? Doubtful, since she came off as a vile bitch. So according to Jill, Alex gets to decided what is shown (part of her plan) & Jill doesn’t… Alex has more clout at Bravo than Jill? That thought makes me laugh my ass right off. Jill, who think she is QUEEN B(ravo) & tried to cast that Stanger Dreg.

Who else thinks Jill didn’t pay for her PR traditionally? We know she likes to exchange services for tweets. She tweeted she was in bed with her PR guy. Services paid. Well, Jill, you got exactly what you “paid” for. Shitty PR. Because I hate you more than ever!!!

  24. RileyKitty says:

Since my blog is really nothing but blog recommendations, if anyone here would like me to link to there blog from mine I would be very happy to do so. Just send me an email with your blog link. rileykitty2@gmail.com so we don’t clog up Lynn’s blog 🙂

    • Need a Hobby says:

Ironic isn’t it, as much as Jill tried to ruin B’s popularity and harm her professional projects (and I think Jill did attempt exactly that), she managed to achieve just the opposite result.

    • natalie905 says:

You know Jill will try and take credit for the ratings (because they got the audience from the reunion) can you imagine her berating her PR minions “How did this happen, what do I pay you for????? Bawby……where’s Bawby???””

  25. katiecoo says:

Ok rewatching the first 2 episodes.

Jill comes right in to this season trash talking Ramona. Talking about how she better have good food on the boat, asking Ramona “what did you do?” (meaning what work did you have done?), trash talking Ramona’s (great body) wearing of a bikini, immediately telling the whole gang about how she and Bethenny are not friends anymore and all the reasons why, trashing Ramona while on her boat trip about the displaying of her jewelry (vs. enjoying a gorgeous ride in a yacht). She set the tone RIGHT UP FRONT.

Episode 2, she’s all chummy chummy with Alex who’s feeling all guilty for not ditching Ramona’s party to head over to hang out with the Countless and Jill, Jill gets on the phone with her (Alex) , calls her “sweetheart” and is all about her motivations for coming over, wanting to leave Ramona’s “after an hour” to go hang with them and once again defines the “friendship” based on this betrayal by Alex. But it sure looked to me, like Jill considered her a “friend” in that episode (of course we know all she really was was a spy to her but still….). I can see why Alex would be ticked seeing that again and the behind the scenes crap said about her, knowing she was used in that instance and it made it totally clear where Jill’s head’s at.

    • katiecoo says:

REgarding Ramona’s Labor Day party Jill “I don’t want to go for 2 reasons but I don’t know which excuse to use!” (like a giddy school girl)

      • Real Bullsh!t says:

Don’t forget when someone asked if it was Ramona’s yacht – Jill chimed in with “SHE WISHES” not once but twice. Jill’s a straight up jealous bitch.

        • katiecoo says:

Ohyeah I knew there was something else. That’s really the first words we hear from her…”you wish” to Ramona. Ramona was absolutely right: BUZZ KILL.

  26. MommyFrazzled says:

I am a little confused on why it is still a topic that Jill is talking about with the press. The show is over, she said enough is enough. I agree. You don’t like Alex, you never did, weren’t friends. Noted. Now what?

Bravo is not in the business of accommodating personal feuds so if you don’t like Alex she should not be on the show, if Bethenny doesn’t like Kelly she should not be on the show, Ramona is this week friends with this one so she can’t be on because she is opposite this group. Read that again, yes it looks as damn ridiculous as it sounds.

It is nothing new when friendships end, whether it be on TV or real life. Famous and not famous. Rich or poor. The common is people get hurt in the aftermath. Not just the parties that are having the problems but by extensions others who are part of the group (relatives, children, other friends, spouses, instigators, etc.)

But for now the topic is Bethenny and Jill. Just Bethenny and Jill. Two people. Two women. Two friends. Two people hurt over something that escalated and snowballed into more.

They could have been friends for 10 years or 10 days, time does not matter. When someone is hurt it is not always clear to the other person what the problem is. I can be that way. If you do not tell me what I did, or you think I did then I cannot fix it. It could be nothing more than a misunderstanding. The key is if you don’t talk to me and tell me, and tell me specifics I don’t know. I have a cutoff, either tell me, forgive me, write a letter, let it go, or decide you no longer want to be friend. Choice is yours. I am talented but I am not a mind reader nor am I one who begs anyone. Both Bethenny and Jill had major things happenings in both their lives. Bethenny had a lot of things happening not just in business but in her personal life as well. So it possible that both of them had not had the opportunity to catchup with each other.

Not sure how Jill did it, but if it were me and my friend is out and about I would call her or email her telling the specifics that my husband is not well, I am stressed, I could use a friend, etc. Once my friend read that she would do the same thing I would do. Drop everything and come. Because you asked as a friend for me to be there. If all I said was hubby is sick in the hospital my friend would call or send flowers a card whatever. That would be enough for me because I know they are working. But if I NEEDED them for moral support to physically be there then I would have said it or asked if it was possible for them to get there. Remember not everyone has finances to go everywhere all the time. I travel, I hear someone even a family member is not well, I may email for status, send flowers, call my mom to ask for specifics etc.

The first and major problem is that Jill confided in Luann and Kelly how she was feeling towards Bethenny’s not being there. The problem is not that she confided in them that is her right, the problem is when Bethenny realized it and came to talk Luann and Kelly interferred. They were out of line, period. Jill has a mouth, and she runs it often so she is not at a loss for words. But Luann took the role of body guard, why I have no clue. But she did and Jill allowed it. So you sent the message you don’t want to talk to her, then why the hell were you still talking about it? Every time Bethenny got within 50 ft of Jill, Luann in one of those damn one shouldered Betty Rubble dresses, was blocking the way.

Earlier I said by extension other people are affected, well Ramona and Alex knew Bethenny was hurting and needed to talk to Jill to correct the problem if it could be corrected. They never blocked Jill from getting to Bethenny, ever. The whole talk on camera, off camera BS is not worth the price of tea in china. Ramona and Alex were not putting their feelings into the equation because they both could have said Bethenny your better off without her and went on as three friends. It was not about them, it was about Jill and Bethenny.

Ramona invited Jill over so they could talk, and before Bethenny could get 2 ft in the door Betty Rubble is in the damn way again. Chastising Ramona about doing it. The ladies need to borrow the bravo tapes and go back a season where the exact same thing happened with Bethenny and Kelly, with Jill being the one who set it up for them to talk. Jill should go back because it is important that she hear the reason for why she did it, come out of her own mouth. It was the same reason Ramona did it.

Alex knew Bethenny was hurt about father, and who cares whether she had a relationship with him or not previously. He was dying and this was going to be her one and only chance to say whatever she had to say to this man. Knowing how close Jill was to Bethenny I would also have tried to talk to Jill telling her to put all the other shit away, Bethenny’s dad is dying and if he dies before she gets closure she is going to need us her friends. Instead what Alex and the rest of america watching saw was this woman had no feelings for Bethenny. Jill dismissed it with a she doesn’t even talk to him. If Alex knew about it then it must have been important to Bethenny whether she was close to him or not. Jill grew up every different, and she always had a relationship with both her parents. But that doesn’t mean she could not put herself in Bethenny’s place and ask herself what would she feel. You cannot be self centered to do this.

Alex and Ramona I think lost respect for Jill when they saw how callous she was and how devastated Bethenny was. She was grieving for the friendship hard. They saw this and no matter what transpired previously between them they put all that to the side and helped a friend who needed it.

Jill should not blame Alex or Ramona for anything. She can’t even blame Luann or Kelly. The blame lies within her. Bobby told her she needed to make up and it should have happened sooner than it did. It happened when she was ready, and like anyone else would feel it was too late by then. The blame game is no longer in stock and Jill owns it.

    • anniieee says:

Excellent…well said and on the money! You do what you do because you are a FRIEND. Jill isn’t, wasn’t and doesn’t know how to be.

    • DLA says:

Bobby, do not even get me started on this (you are hurting my bus. prick) got in the face of Alex and B.

Not to say I am sorry my wife hurt you.

But he really had the balls to say…

I never heard her say anything but nice things.

WOW JZ must give a BJ like no one else.

    • Stella says:

MommyFrazzeled, that was really well put. Thanks!

    • cusi77 says:

Bethenny told Jill in Ramona’s – You wait to people to fail…

It is not normal! JZ is not normal!

  27. faninma says:

Sorry to go off topic to Kelly (sorry if this has probably already been posted), but had to go to hulu.com to watch some old clips — why didn’t we see the extent of Kelly’s psychosis last year?

Notice how she makes up the entire story about her boyfriend (which is similar to how to she made up the story of Bethenny telling her she did a smear campaign against her):

    Ambush:

    • CuckooforCocoaPuffs says:

Wow! I didn’t watch Season 2 – I am amazed at how different JZ looks so different in one year!!

    • jb8 says:

In the clip of Kelly “explaining” the boyfriend abuse, she does a fake cry, Jill asks someone to give her a tissue and then Kelly does the oddest thing. Instead of wiping her tears or dabbing at her eyes, she folds the tissue and tucks it under her leg. WTF?

  28. jenni says:

Updated version, is it better, or did I make it worse?

    http://jenaralee.wordpress.com/about/

  29. desertgal66 says:

Jill has to have an enemy because without an enemy, she can’t create melodrama that makes her the center of attention. This goes hand in hand with why Jill always sides with the underdog – without an underdog in her life, Jill can’t feel superior.

And we all know what a condescending attention whore Jill is.

    • RileyKitty says:

This is what makes me think the dynamic with Luann will change next year. This year fresh off a divorce, Lulu was a bit wounded, self esteem was bit low. Jill smelled vulnerability like a wild animal smells wounded prey. She swoops in to save poor Luann, “my friend Luann needs me right now.” Next season Luann should be in a better place, she is dating, she has her single out (however annoying we find it), & it sounds like she is hanging with Sonja. She will no longer be an underdog in Jill’s eyes. She may even be a threat. It will be interesting.

      • desertgal66 says:

        Exactly.

It’s also interesting to note that we never see Jill one on one with other friends, aside from the housewives. We’ve seen every other cast member hanging out with other friends, but not Jill. At least, if she has, I don’t remember it.

Makes you wonder if Jill has been alienating ‘friends’ all her life.

        • kathy says:

Would you want a friend like her? Not me! Way too many minefields. Also always keeping score. Thanks, no.

      • WindyCityWondering says:

Oh it’s already started – Jill threw LuAnn under the bus when Alex was talking about how Jill’s comments about her sons’ behavior was hurtful. Did you see LuAnn look at Jill?
THE COUNTESS is heading for Switzerland and rounding the bend to BRASville.

  30. boston02127 says:

In regards to Zarin Fabric donating $2K to Brooklyn Fashion Week I’m wondering if
Jill’s can justify her rude comments:

“When I arrived at Fashion Week in Brooklyn, I was horrified. It was so low-rent. The red carpet was next to a heap…of trash. I’m speechless.”

“The Countess wouldn’t have been caught dead at anything Alex and Simon would do but I think that LuAnn would have pulled up with her driver and kept driving.”

“I was so overdressed. I should have been in a wife-beater and jeans. I felt like a moron. I just couldn’t wait for the show to be over so I could get out of there.”

Also, I’m sure Zarin Fabrics claimed the $2 K donation when they filed their taxes. Which is fine but I’m guessing (because it came from Jill’s mouth) they donated maybe 5 to $800 worth of fabric.

    • RileyKitty says:

Her comments about Luann pissed me off, it came off like look how gracious I am for even being here, Luann wouldn’t be caught dead here. I think Lulu would have rolled with it. We’ve seen her pretend to be hip while hanging with her niece.

      • boston02127 says:

RileyKitty~ I agree with you about LuAnn. I also think if you could put up with LuAnn’s snotty ways she’d be an okay friend. She’s not too bright but I don’t think she knows how to be mean like Jill. I think she picked the wrong team and she’s sorry.

      • shantygal says:

Right, and she went to that alleged cool dive bar with Coerte.

    • Kat says:

      Princess Snob.
Jill is such a patronizing face.
How fortunate is the the world that she bothered to show up.

  31. Tootsie says:

Katie – you have not lost your mind. I have seen the episode 3 times and all 3 times it is Ramona who suggests Bethenny and Jill go into the bedroom. AND IT IS JILL WHOS SAYS ‘NO”. Here is hoping that Bravo does away with Jill next season. At this point she adds nothing but heartburn to the show. If she is picked up next season I will not watch. After each episode that Jill is on I end up with terrible heartburn.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Yeah, Bethenny was ready to talk to Jill with or without the camera – she came to mend a friendship! It was heartbreaking to watch her be vulnerable and humble while Jill just glared at her.

  32. CdnFillie says:

Curious..does anyone remember the woman at Ramona’s party early in the season , could have been Labor Day, there was a woman defending Jill and B said something about her in her head shot about who was this woman..I think her name was Jennifer and if it was, I bet she’s the troll here and J Samples on Amazon..what do u all think

  33. HD says:

Jill kills me when Bethanny is talking about losing weight after her pregnancy. Just seeing her trying desperately to have girl chat with Bethanny is so strange to me.

    • katiecoo says:

That last freeze frame of Jill is hilarious!

Lynn can you take a look at the reunion when Kelly tells Alex to close her legs then quickly Jill sort of sneers at Kelly and says something under her breath which looks like she’s saying “zip it”. What do you see???

    • WindyCityWondering says:

gotta agree Kelly is a flaming FIA all the way.

    • boston02127 says:

@Lynn~ I can’t make out what Bethenny’s saying in one clip. She’s repeating something Jill said like: ” I have no bobby i have no show”
I wonder what she means about Bobby? Maybe I’m hearing it incorrectly.

      • She was saying that Jill has Bobby. Bethanny doesn’t have “a Bobby” to take care of her, all she had was the show.
She has said more than once that she was basically broke when the show started, so she needed the show to eat and pay her rent. All the other women have husbands or alimony taking care of them so the show wasn’t as a big a deal for them as it was for B.

Great post btw. That blog was too funny!

      • Pantry Viewer says:

I believe you are referring to B explaining the real reason behind the feud and that Jill telling other cast members not to film with B affected her livelihood. B was saying she doesn’t have a Bobby to rely on for money and Jill was messing her with livelihood by trying to cut her out of housewives and affect her ability to do the B Getting Married.

      • Queen Butter Bean says:

If it’s the scene I think it is, Bethenny said, “That’s my livelihood. I didn’t have a Bobby at the time.”

    • cusi77 says:

Thank you Lynn! It was sooooo good!

  34. TraceyK says:

Right, there is NO WAY that the Countess would be caught dead going into any establishment that had trash in front of it.
    No, sir.
    Not caught dead.
    Not on your life.
Unless the said establishment is a trendy drinkery and she’s with a date.

    • LynnNChicago says:

Remember, it also has to be a former opium den

      • desertgal66 says:

LuAnn made me laugh when she walked into that restaurant with Coerte and said, “Wow. It really does look like an opium den.”

Been to a lot of opium dens there, LuAnn?

        • fairydusted says:

Exactly. Also,I noticed her on a talk show with a shiny red one shoulder number going on. Is it just me do some housewives dress for a prom. And the other one often forgets her pants.

When I was on Amazon looking at reviews for books I wanted to download. I checked the reviews for Silex’s book. Then out of curiousity, I checked Jill’s book too. When I saw the “I Hate Jill Zarin” blog, I laughed! Two days later I decided to check out Lynn’s blog and it was witty, factual, respectful of fellow posters and hilarious!
And while I still check in with other sites, this is the first and only one I have ever felt comfortable enough to post on. So Lynn, keep telling like it is!

Sadly, Jill is a very insecure and immature woman. She has always deflected, denied and then destroyed anyone who she could not control. Her personality, style and interaction with the other wives does not fit the show’s concept and too many viewers don’t want to watch her anymore.

Bravo is a business first and foremost – you don’t keep people or products that don’t perform to expectations. All the wives have a stock value – all know they can be replaced. IF Jill’s stock was not in the toilet, I could see her having a discussion about removing another person (providing that person was unpopular with viewers, uncooperative, antagonistic and possibly dangerous to other cast members) – but Alex is not that person. To attempt to engineer filming without another cast member, suggest another individual was being brought in to replace that cast member and then say negative things about the employer – all real legitimate reasons to terminate!
Jill’s attempts to discredit both her employer and fellow cast members is not the way to gain a positive viewer base or ensure job security.

We don’t hate Jill Zarin because she is witty, wonderful and wise. We hate her because she is deceitful, demeaning, deluded and destructive. We all make mistakes but it is how we handle ourselves in correcting and learning from them that make us who we are. She had numerous opportunities during Season Three to be nice, compassionate and respond as a real friend would – she chose not to.

Like Bethenny has said, she’s in a different place now. I’m sure Bethenny is at peace on where the friendship, or lack thereof, is at. Bethenny not only has herself to think of, but Jason and Bryn too. After everything that has happened would I want someone as spiteful as Jill has proven to be around my child? No.

      Very goo insight, Windy. Welcome!

Now just to preface this following post…

Tis true that I am not a fan of ANY of these women…

that being said, I am a fan of Lynn and all of you…

Your views and feelings are valuable, refreshing and real…and I get a kick out of each and every one of you…

    Got that?

But, what if Bethenny had taken the high road and forgiven Jill on the Reunion Show?

Quite frankly she would have had nothing to lose and everything to gain…

She could have pulled in the viewers who are sitting on the fence and been the bigger person…

It would have been a win/win situation for Bethenny…

What a real surprise if she had just said,

“you know what Jill, life is short; there are so many wonderful blessings in my life, I would rather be friends with you than enemies….”

She had the opportunity to really be a champion for women…

She had a chance to trump all of the stereotypical behavoir of the women on these shows…

The nasty back biting, unforgiving, rude and catty barbs…

It could have been the hug heard around the world…

Instead it was just more of the same…and thus a missed opportunity…

    Pity…

    JMHO

    • katiecoo says:

But what if she, sincerely and genuinely, is done with Jill as a friend and truly doesn’t want to be her friend? She should betray her own needs for us, the viewers? Womankind? Jill?

Just because my nasty ex boyfriend contacted me 2 weeks ago (the one who cheated on me then blamed ME for his cheating) and wants to be “nice” and “get back in touch” , is there something wrong with me for ignoring him? I didn’t even offer a polite decline as Bethenny did. My point? This was a BREAK UP.

If a man had treated Bethenny even 1/4 of the ways Jill did (not that guys act catty like that but betrayal in the “man” way) would anyone bat an eye about her blowing him off forever?

Did you see the previews? She champions for Jill in a very human way…as in stop the beating up on her. That doesn’t mean they are FRIENDS but that Bethenny has a HEART. And I sincerely doubt JZ would have ever taken that stance with her under any circumstances. Actually, the opposite.

      • WindyCityWondering says:

Bethenny knows that you don’t have to be friends to be nice to someone or show compassion for them even if they are getting the buttkicking they so truly earned!

    • HD says:

I just think she doesn’t want to be friends anymore. It not about taking the high road. I think it is just about not being friends with someone that has caused you a lot of hurt. Everything has a season and sadly that pertains to some friendships as well.

    • RileyKitty says:

I am glad Bethenny didn’t just say forgiven & move on. I would have felt like I spent this whole show watching & gotten no answers. It would have felt like the RHoA reunion with all the we’re over it & no closure for the viewers. It was a total snoozefest. That is the whole reason Andy reads viewer questions, so we have a chance to get closure on some issues. I appreciate Bethenny for telling us like what really happened. Since Bethenny is done with Jill what is the harm in clearing up some lies in the process? I do respect your differing opinion though 🙂

    • desertgal66 says:

That would have been nice, and I don’t disagree with you…but I don’t think Bethenny wants to be friends with Jill again. I think she’s learned that Jill’s brand of friendship comes at too high an emotional price. So, in another way, Bethenny DID stand up for all women who have been mistreated by friends like Jill-and there are a LOT of Jill Zarin’s out there.

I also didn’t see Bethenny being nasty, catty, or rude to Jill. She tried very hard to explain where she was coming from, and why she has difficulty envisioning Jill and her being friends again. Bethenny did make one snarky remark about hiring a court reporter, but I think she was annoyed at Jill’s repeated “I don’t remember.” I don’t blame her. It was pretty clear that Jill was using that as an excuse to avoid wrongs she had done to other people, because she certainly has no problem remembering ‘wrongs’ that were done to her.

      • Squirrels says:

“We need a court reporter for you”, was without a doubt, my favorite retort of the evening.

        Subtle… to the point….

    • LynnNChicago says:

I get what you are saying, I really do but if Bethenny doesn’t feel it, she isn’t going to say it. Bethenny also knows what viewers want, overwhelmingly viewers didn’t want B to forgive Jill.
Jill preaches her three tries to apologize, then you’re done. Jill got what she gives.
Bethenny couldn’t fake it and say that all is good for the good of womenhood, then move on without Jill, that would be cruel. Jill would be expecting more than B was willing to give.
Finally lets say B did forgive Jill, then she would be stuck being friends with this woman, clearly she doesn’t want to be and add to that B’s hubby doesn’t like Jill making it more difficult to have Jill in her life.

      • desertgal66 says:

I believe that Bethenny HAS forgiven Jill, mainly so she could let go of that particular piece of emotional baggage and move on. And that’s the crucial element – Bethenny has moved on. She may have forgiven, but she hasn’t forgotten, so she won’t risk going through that pain twice.

      • WindyCityWondering says:

Bethenny will not be friends with Jill but she will be nice to her. We are watching someone break up and trying to do it without rancor or malice. When Jill finally realizes the Bethenny won’t be her friend it will only get worse for Alex (Jill has to blame someone and Alex is IT.).

      • Need a Hobby says:

I think by now it’s not even a matter of “forgiveness” for Bethenny because she’s achieved emotional distance from Jill and has moved beyond the point of framing the issue in terms of forgiving or not forgiving. The friendship ended (Jill killed it IMO) and B’s life has moved on. And Jill’s just naturally not a part of it.

    • iceNfire says:

MontanaMommy – I ( Bethenny ) would rather be friends with you ( Jill ) than enemies

Nobody has to or needs to make a choice on that one. I don’t know anyone who has remained friends or enemies with everyone they’ve met in life.

    • kathy says:

I think Bethenny did forgive her. She just doesn’t want her in her life. She didn’t say never, she said, we’ll see. She said that Jason doesn’t like her. And who can blame him?

    • boston02127 says:

@MontannaMommy~ I don’t see Bethenny gaining anything by being friends with Jill. After what we thought was all done and said by Jill, she went ahead and tried to hit Bethenny’s pocketbook. Jill has more than proven what type of person/friend she is.
I’m all for taking the high road, I’m the first one to say take the high road because the low road if full. I think Bethenny did just that. She forgave and moved on. There is nothing about Jill that has proved her to be an honest person, and honesty is a requisition for friendship.

      • Kat says:

@Boston~ I totally agree with you Boston.

Also Bethenny genuinely cared for Jill and Jill turned on Bethenney because Bethenney was given opportunites that Jill wanted for herself.
Despite this Bethenny still was willing to forgive Jill but Jill refused Bethenny’s attempts to mend their friendship.

I think because of Bethenney’s childhood she is probably guarded but also very vunerable to people she allows to get close and Jill crapped all over that trust.

    • Noreen54321 says:

Frankly, I think B would forgive J, but then what. The truth is (as B has declared) there is no place for J in her life. And if she forgives her, she will be at her front door every morning with bagels and coffee trying to take her life over. I think what she has done is take the high road. B has said over and over that she wishes her well, knows she is a good person but there is no place in her life for J’s style of friendship.

    • Scorpiosue says:

Like Bethenny has said, she’s in a different place now. I’m sure Bethenny is at peace on where the friendship, or lack thereof, is at. Bethenny not only has herself to think of, but Jason and Bryn too. After everything that has happened would I want someone as spiteful as Jill has proven to be around my child? No.

    • Not a missed op in my opinion. Bethenny no longer trusts Jill. It would be ultimate hypocrisy to do what you said for simply gaining some audience approval. Not to mention, many viewers think Bethenny did do the right thing.

Bethenny no longer wants to be friends with Jill and wished Jill only the best.

Nothing more should be expected of Bethenny in regard to jill.

You see what kind of person jill is: in the press, on social networks, etc. slamming Bethenny. That’s the kind of friendship Bethenny’s missing out on? Let me just say, I’d rather be alone on a deserted island with no one but God to talk with than have Jill as a “friend”.

  37. desertgal66 says:

Hey, according to Jill, when she said to Bethenny “you know what, Bethenny? We ARE done”, she was basically telling Bethenny to “zip it”.

Isn’t that pretty much the same thing as telling someone to, oh, I don’t know, “get a hobby”?

And I absolutely do not believe that Zarin Fabrics gave Alex’s fashion show $2,000 worth of fabric. C’mon, JILL. We’re talking about fabric that was used for staging the event, and likely ended up being thrown away. Everyone knows that Zarin Fabrics handed over some cheap, borderline ugly fabric that had probably been laying in the basement since 1936. Common sense alone tells us that a store isn’t going to hand over fine quality, high priced fabric for such a utilitarian purpose.

  38. CdnFillie says:

    Reposting…I think I got lost

Curious..does anyone remember the woman at Ramona’s party early in the season , could have been Labor Day, there was a woman defending Jill and B said something about her in her head shot about who was this woman..I think her name was Jennifer and if it was, I bet she’s the troll here and J Samples on Amazon..what do u all think

  39. ImToula says:

Let’s face it. Jill has become someone we love to hate. Why do we all get together? Because we love to hate her. We love to bash her more than anyone else. Do we love BRAS more than bashing Jill? Maybe not. But Jill is at the center of everything once again. The difference is that she’s a bitch this time. Jill is an equal opportunity bitch. She’ll go after anyone and everyone. I don’t see Bravo letting her go.
If Alex stays, can we guess what the storyline will be next season? I don’t think Alex should stay on the show. She’s not dark like that, even though she found her voice; it still upsets her when she is confronting someone. Did you notice her chest on the reunion? She was breaking out in hives. Does Alex need this aggravation? I don’t think she’s that much of a media whore. Alex would be great in Beth’s show. They go well together. The story of Beth’s show seems to be playful and happy. I see Alex fitting very well in that world.

  40. Adgirl says:

Jill antipathy toward Alex is based solely on “class” distintion.
Jill sees Alex as sooo far below her (down there!) that she just can’t stomach having her around – let alone Alex complaining about Jill’s insults about her family.
    How dare she!

    Jill has everyone categorized:
    Ramona – Peer
LuAnn – Above her. Countess post divorce still trumps Ramona
Sonja – Above her. Wealthier and better connected.
Kelly – Peer and connected to more fashionable crowd than Jill.
Bethenny – Peer (and now climbing). Younger and funner. Jill wanted to be around her.
Alex – Below her. What is she doing here? Brooklyn, not connected, not wealthy.

Alex can’t do anything for Jill. Jill doesn’t want her around.

    • Sofi says:

      You got this exactly right!
Remember when Jill talked about how expensive Kelly’s NY apartment was, much more expensive than Jill’s? Yet Jill expresses worry about an extremely wealthy woman like Kelly feeding her children through her job on this show, which is a drop in the bucket of her income. At the same time, Jill has no qualms about interfering with the livelihoods of Bethenny and Alex, who actually need the money they earn doing this show.

  41. lillybee says:

I think that something happened between Jill and Lulu mid-season. I think it happened about the time Sonja joined the show. That is about the time Jill started insulting Lulu. First about the evites that she claims weren’t fancy enough. Then the way she and Kelly acted at Lulu’s event at Bloomies and to top it off (although true) telling Lulu that she would be giving a lot of her cd’s away for free. That is also about the time that she began using Kelly as her muscle. I wonder what the back story between those two really is.

    • iceNfire says:

      great observation!

    • desertgal66 says:

I think what happened is that LuAnn began developing a closer friendship with Sonja and Jill didn’t like it. Remember the scene where Sonja and LuAnn were talking over Jill on the phone about Bethenny’s pregnancy? Jill was seriously annoyed because they were paying more attention to each other than to Jill. Her face looked like she’d just swallowed a lemon.

      • Need a Hobby says:

Lulu and Sonja, whatever their origins, are socially more compatible. They’ve acquired the manners of the social class they’ve reached and the circles in which they’ve traveled.

Lulu and Sonja had mutual friends/acquaintances so although they may not have been friends prior to the show, Lulu would relate more closely to Sonja. (Let’s face it: Sonja is filet mignon, Jill is chopped liver. Lulu’s not stupid.)

In contrast, Jill who acts as if she knows everyone who is “anyone” in “NY society,” apparently didn’t have a clue who the eff Sonja Morgan was. Didn’t know Sonja had a house in the Hamptons. Shows how “connected” Jill really is to high society. And no matter how much money Jill (or her husband) has, she’ll never be….uh….classy or elegant…..mah friend. 😉

    • viki55 says:

Yes, Kelly as her muscle, certainly not brains. Like a puppet!

    • shantygal says:

Very much so Lilly. I’ve said that before, but not as well as you did. Luann was also starting to heal from her divorce and get her footings. She is quite capable of moving on , on her own. Sure, she needed someone at first, divorce hurts, no matter how bad the marriage was or how much it was the right thing for both parties. But you go through the stages and start to rebuild. It won’t be long before Luann has a complete disconnect from Jill. J will screw it up like she has all of her other frienships (hmmmm, where have we heard that before?)

  42. HousewifeInCurlers says:

Okay, you have become REALLY REALLY invested in this whole thing…to the point that I now understand what so many other people on other forums mean when they say that your obsession with finding everything wrong with Jill borders on psychotic. It is a show, Lynn. These people are not your sisters, or even your friends…no matter how much you try desperately to be best friends with Alex. It’s really, honestly, not that serious.
I think I will stay away from this blog from now on. I’m not a big Jill fan, but even I can see when it’s just really become obsessive to write a daily novel about all the things that are bad about Jill. The fact that you post all of her tweets, with your own commentary…kinda sad. And on top of it, sending her actual mail to let her know how much you hate her.
You truly have become exactly like the person you dedicated an entire “hate” blog to. It’s too bad you can’t see it. Your desperation to prove how awful Jill is, is exactly what Jill is doing about Alex.
And yes, editing DOES make a difference. The past 2 seasons, Silex were edited really bad… This year they got a better edit…Jill had good edits the past 2 seasons and this year a bad one..etc. All these people didn’t just suddenly change personalities this year. Give me a break.
Really, I’d be embarrassed to behave this way and I believe I am several years younger than you (in my late 20’s) Do you have a job? Family? anything? I just don’t understand how anyone can spend so much time copying and pasting every word the person they hate so much says. Your family must think this obsession you have has gotten out of hand. Take a breath and relax. It’s not all that serious. It’s entertainment television.

    • viki55 says:

      Please don’t feed this troll

    • RileyKitty says:

Here is the deal… we all hate Jill, you can either choose to hate her or not, just like you can choose to post here or not. I am getting sick & tired of people coming here & calling Lynn names. You know why she writes these blogs? Because we ask her too. I, for one, appreciate it.

Lynn has a job & a very nice family, what is it your business to speculate on what they think? I also don’t remember Lynn ever claiming she & Alex were BFFs.

Nobody would be taking issue here if we were all falling all over Jill.

Don’t let the door hit ya on the way out!

      Silex was edited badly.

      A. Once you put them together they become a solo act, thereby requiring was v were.

      B. badly.. not bad.

    • Just one more thing, Lynn hasn’t always written daily “novels” about jill. It’s just that jill has given her SO MUCH material to work with in the past week! LOL!

Jill is single-handedly possibly the worst public relations nightmare ever!

I mean, novels really could be written about all the bad things jill has been doing and continues to do!

      😛

We all know now that Jill was trying to affect Beth’s air time this season

1)Reason Jill would have wanted her and Beth to speak privately when
Beth first confronted her was all about keeping Beth off air…
2)No wonder she spazzed out about the confrontation at Ramona’s.
Wasn’t that she didn’t have her ‘notes’ it was because she didn’t expect
or want Beth on camera. Whole new way to understand her “I was

SHE WAS HER INVITED GUEST during The Summer in the Hamptons…. not “homeless”, and food in her mouth…
Did Bethenny needed to bring her canned lunch?

Well, to the comment… it is not there anymore but I wrote it down because I liked it, remember I am a computer challenged…

    “Jill,
    You remind me… me!
Just try to remember that people are alowed to change their minds about a person and a situation.
That forgiveness is a virtue, not a vice.
Effort does not guarantee love. Ask yourself why you put so uch into these friendship. You are looking for security and safety and ultimate, constant devotion. But to truly give is to give whitout keeping score. Then you are giving. You are giving points to yourself. Credits to the self-validation bank account – to have a guarantee that you did more than the other person you might have wronged, to always have a guarantee that at the end of the day, you have more points than other people.

What happens is that ultimately we have to question people’s love for us. Because what we gave to them wasn’t always out of love, but selfish fear, so then we hold what we have given over hteir heads, refusing to forgive, feeling righteous… And it’s hard to feel loved when another holds everything they have given to you over your head, much less reciprocate.

Point being, sometimes giving is not giving, but securing funds. But wrong is wrong and redemption can’t be bought.

    Aly.”

      Rock on.

    • Kat says:

Your post reminds me that we are all human after all.

    • cimibu says:

I remember watching footage of Bethenny and Jill in the Hamptons last season. Jill said something about how great it was to have Bethany there to prepare all of the meals. So doesn’t this mean that Bethenny earned that “roof over her head?”

  53. iceNfire says:

Jill maybe be quiet today but her followers are not. Isn’t funny how they try to hurt our feelings? They do that on Amazon too, I’m surprised they didn’t call us fat.

  54. RileyKitty says:

Here is what I think was really up Jill’s ass regarding Alex at the reunion. Alex looked gorgeous, her hair was hot. Jill looked like a $2 hooker with I just got F@CKED hair.

  55. UpperWestSideDude says:

It is fuuny how I publish a negative reiview about Jill’s “the book” on Amazon and they ask me if I am Bethenny.

I did a similar review for Cro-Magnum lady’s “Skinny Italian” and they accused me of being Danielle.

Wow, I am a guy with a pen*s so I guess they were that far off. 🙂

  56. ShelleyT says:

I’d like to comment about Jill’s mother Gloria. I remember the scene where Bethenny was in the kitchen making breakfast for the family and talking to Gloria. Gloria told her she was a “sad soul” but not to worry because she loved her. And you will always be a part of my life, I won’t let you go. Does anyone else remember this scene? Where was the “loving mom” to tell Jill she was wrong.

    • LynnNChicago says:

That “loving mom” is who created Jill and continues to defend Jill. Gloria was asked in interviews if she is still “there” for Bethenny, she said she didn’t think Bethenny wanted her anymore.

If Gloria had a good PR person, she would have said, “of course I’m here for Bethenny, and I always will be” Would have been a nice thing to say.

    • Rabble Rouser says:

IMO, the whole Gloria/Bethany moment from last season was so contrived to begin with. It was all about getting Gloria her 15 minutes so that she could gateway to other ventures on her own. Did anyone ever even read her crappy advice column on the Bravo blogs?

She always reminded me of Leona Helmsely…and we all know what a bitch she was.

  57. Scorpiosue says:

I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY don’t want Jill to be on the next installation of the Housewives. Maybe Alex or Sonja have some friends that would like to be on the show. Yes, Jill’s bad behavior gets people watching, but obviously people like everyday living by the numbers Bethenny’s show got.

Andy Cohen, take away the “toxicity” out of the show. Let Jill be a mean girl….just let her do it without cameras. She’s bitten the hand that feeds her and now she needs to be shown the door.

In the words of David Spade: “Buh Bye”

  58. Hooked On Housewives says:

Stopping back by. I have an OT question that has been bothering me for a couple of days. I’m hoping someone can help me with the answer.

On this blog anyone can change his or her displayable name.

So can’t someone take over an existing identity, sign in and post stupid/derogatory/inflamatory crap and be gone?

I have a sharp enough keyboard as it is so I really wouldn’t want someone to sign in as me and act the ass. I’m wondering about this because I’ve seen where a poster has been down with all that is going on on this board (IHJZ) then suddenly she posts crazy shit like we should get a life, we’re worse than Jillousy, etc. I like reading this board and I would not want to come in one day and suddenly there is an elephant in the room because someone had signed in as me and assed up. Just wondering. I think my question is way back there in the stratosphere. LOL.

    • RileyKitty says:

They can copy your screen name but not your picture Hooked. so we will know if it is really you or not.

      • Hooked On Housewives says:

Thanks Riley. Just don’t want to sign out and come back the next time as a leper.

      • Kat says:

Also you can’t use a picture/avatar unless you are registered. And to register you need a valid email address.

    • iceNfire says:

That can ans has happened but not if you register a blog and turn blue. Go to
“My Account” to register and then you wont have to worry about it.

      • Hooked On Housewives says:

I registered for this site already. Not sure if it was registering for a blog though. I’ll check. Thanks Ice.

  59. Mary says:

    Lynn,
I’m a fan of your blog. It’s addicting and I find myself looking forward to your next, however, I feel the need to point out that you have gone over the deep-end with this Alex is your new bbf stuff. It reminds of this scene in the movie Almost Famous:

Lester Bangs: Aw, man. You made friends with them. See, friendship is the booze they feed you. They want you to get drunk on feeling like you belong.
William Miller: Well, it was fun.
Lester Bangs: They make you feel cool. And hey. I met you. You are not cool.
    William Miller: I know. Even when I thought I was, I knew I wasn’t.
Lester Bangs: That’s because we’re uncool. And while women will always be a problem for us, most of the great art in the world is about that very same problem. Good-looking people don’t have any spine. Their art never lasts. They get the girls, but we’re smarter.
William Miller: I can really see that now.
Lester Bangs: Yeah, great art is about conflict and pain and guilt and longing and love disguised as sex, and sex disguised as love… and let’s face it, you got a big head start.
William Miller: I’m glad you were home.
Lester Bangs: I’m always home. I’m uncool.
    William Miller: Me too!
Lester Bangs: The only true currency in this bankrupt world is what we share with someone else when we’re uncool.
    William Miller: I feel better.
Lester Bangs: My advice to you. I know you think those guys are your friends. You wanna be a true friend to them? Be honest, and unmerciful.

Lynn, you started out strong and funny. You are now becoming a Jill. Attacking a dog today is out of line. It’s an animal innocent of this mess, regardless if it belongs to Jill. Your objectivity is becoming skewed and mean. The card thing really tarnished this you, but this adoration for Alex is sickening.

    Thanks for listening.

    • UpperWestSideDude says:

Sorry, Alex has been quiet for too long. Do you actually think if the same aspersion had been made towards “Bawby” and Ally as were made towards Simon, Johan, and Francois that Jillousy would not have reacted the same? I for one am delighted that she spoke up this season and took Jill to task. Alex is a class act and she has the intellect and grace to handle the insecurities and hypocrisy of the Jill Zarin’s in this world. Bravo Alex!!!

    • RileyKitty says:

Could you please point out where Lynn said she is Alex’s BFF please? Being concerned that a dog who bites children (she has bitten Ally) was in someone’s home is not odd to me. Lynn corrected herself. This is Jill’s fault, not Ginger’s. I look forward to you responding & letting us know where Lynn called Alex her new BFF. thanks 🙂

    • iceNfire says:

Lynn has apologized for that. I on the other hand wouldn’t allow a dog that bites near my kids. And I do think Ginger is ugly.

    • LynnNChicago says:

OMG stop it, just stop it! I am not under any illusion that Alex is my friend now, ok? You are now defending a dog…. a dog that bit Jill’s daughter, a dog that Ally said she wished would die!!

If you dont like the blog, dont read it. Maybe you didn’t read all of the comments, and that certainly isn’t required but let me give you a hint…I was specifically asked to write a blog today about this subject. That is all I can say.

    • Anitabee says:

      Why? Why? Why?

Are all of Jill’s frickin’ flying monkeys so longwinded and boring as crap? Right, like you really like.

What some people do for money…BORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRING!

    • Free Ginger (formerly known as wolverinedg) says:

As the person who pointed it out, I didn’t take it as an “attack on an innocent dog.” I was just pointing out that the reason that poor barking rat is a terror is due to her owner. I’ve got no problem with Lynn. We both hate Jill Zarin.

Nice attempt at divide & conquer, Jill. Another “Fail” for you.

    • Free Ginger (formerly known as wolverinedg) says:

Oh yeah, & just how smart are you to expect “objectivity” on a blog called “I Hate Jill Zarin?” sheesh. Put the bottle down, turn off the computer, & go sleep it off.

      • anniieee says:

We love you Lynn, Keep up the great work.. I, for one love the fact that you so get it…. Jill is a monster who has attacked everyone–everyone who disagrees with her or can’t do her “any good”–Alex. she thought Alex was a non-entity until Alex (who as I tell my students-was raised right) had enough. We had all had enough of Jill. As for those who feel the need to say negatives to Lynn, This is Her blog…go start your own. Go away.

  60. dumberries says:

    Adgirl,

I think you’re so right about Jill’s score-card approach to assessing people’s friend-worthiness. It clears something up for me. Remember when Kelly visited Jill and Ally during Ally’s photo shoot? In her interview for the scene, Jill proclaims that she’s so proud to know Kelly because the people at the studio all said, “we know Kelly”. At the time, I thought Jill’s proclamation of pride was so weird that it must just be her way of trying to build up her “teams” image, since Kelly was just becoming officially aligned with the dark side. Surely Jill couldn’t be stupid enough to think that just because everyone “knows Kelly” that they’re glad to know her! Now, thinking back on it, Jill probably is giddy-proud to be aligned with Kelly because of Kelly’s fashion connections and presumed residual net-worth for having married her grandpa, the most amazing photographer in the universe. Jill doesn’t care that Kelly is vapid, inarticulate, and repulsive (whether she’s sick or just spoiled is debatable; either ways she’s inarticulate, vapid and repulsive).
Jill’s thought bubble: “maybe Kelly will help me get a gig walking the runway at next year’s Fashion Week – I will rock those size 1’s. Oooh, wait, maybe Kelly and I can do a spread together for the 41st anniversary edition of the Playboy – the most infamous book in the universe”. Zarin is shallow and stupid.

  61. Squirrels says:

I’m trying to look back at posts whereby Lynn places herself as bff to Alex or Simon for that matter. All I could find was great insight, some stuff that Lynn would not discuss for obvious reasons and a great light atmosphere overall. Did she ask questions we all had? Yes and I thank Lynn for that. Did she get answers to the enquirer type dirt? Maybe, but she’s the sole of discrection and proves it daily.

It’s easy to pretend to be a journalist under the guise of of blogger. So many play the game of I’m reporting it, it must be true. Lynn not only lives, she excels in this world. While she may fall under blogger status, all her efforts have consistently been connected with journalism ethics. She never reports without confirmation, is always careful to distinguish opinion v. “I say so, ergo it must be true”.

I could go on, but now would be a good time to get off my soap box. Thank goodness for my PR guys. Ok… I get all my advice from South Park…. If I can’t blame Canada? I’ll blame Jill Zarrrrinnnn
    😀

  62. RileyKitty says:

I can’t image uttering the words “I am proud to be with Kelly”. GROSS!! lmao

  63. Hooked On Housewives says:

I can’t get blue so I’m going to go do the next best thing, lay down. I’ll try to get blue tomorrow. Have a good night all.

  64. lillybee says:

If Jill gets the show that she has shilled in the past ( a show about herself, her mom and her sister) perhaps she will be off RHONY. Although in my opinion it would be a terrible show.

    • Squirrels says:

Jill is having trouble getting on the Today Show. Getting her own? Slim to none.

I say so, ergo it must be true.

      😀

      • LynnNChicago says:

Jill thinks she should be on Inside The Actor’s Studio…talk about delusional

        • Squirrels says:

Talk about Jill….. delusional is yet another way for her to claim she’s a descendent of Van Gogh.

Oh come on…. you know she would if she could. I’m amazed she hasn’t done a full blown ancestory.com search for past fame and fortune.

        • anniieee says:

I love that show… would never watch it again if they put her on.

    • Olivia says:

I like myself too much to sit through a program featuring those two nasal voiced Witchfaces as they snark at the staff and declare how “unhappy” they are at any occasion.

Bravo will have left the reservation if they come up with a show starring them.

    • Jill with a show of her own? LOLOLOLOLOL! 😛

  65. Olivia says:

The only reason Jill donated that fabric to Alex’s Brooklyn event was that she knew in her heart that Alex meant well in suggesting Jill reach out to Bethenny and she had no intention of doing so. By donating that fabric at the last minute she thought she made herself look good in Alex’s eyes.

Just by her “bringing gifts” to St. John’s she figured everyone would just overlook her bad behavior by swooning over the thought of her taking time to purchase gifts. She is so transparent she makes Saran Wrap look like cardboard.

  66. lillybee says:

I bet her gifts were regifts.

  67. RileyKitty says:

@UpperWest SideDude Hon, I just wanted to apologize, when I come into the blog in the mornings I generally greet “Morning, Ladies” I didn’t realize we had a gentleman among us & will do my best to be more gender neutral from here on out 🙂

    • Squirrels says:

Loosely translated…. RileyKitty thinks you’re cute.

      muahhhhhhh !!!!

    • UpperWestSideDude says:

No probs… NYC Housewives has been a guilty pleasure of mine that I would never admit to. As long as it doesn’t interrupt with the World Cup coverage I am cool. I think male a sensibility balances out this wonderful blog compiled by the ever so omnipotent “LynnNChicago”. I promise by the start of season 4 of MadMen I will be nothing but a distant memory until next year. 🙂

  68. Olivia says:

Can’t wait for “Mad Men” even though January Jones can’t act her way out of a paper bag, the rest of the cast is awesome!

    • UpperWestSideDude says:

I agree with that but she does a great job on the show. I refer to her as the “Ice Princess”. In my opiunion, this show is up there with the Sopranos. Something I can watch overn and over…

A side note, I knew NeNe Leakes from the Atlanta Houswives in High School. She was a piece of work even then. The storied I could tell…

      • lillybee says:

        Please tell.

        • UpperWestSideDude says:

Well… I went to High School with her in Athen GA -Clarke Central – same High School Kim Bassinger attend 10 years earlier – and we both graduated in the class of 1985. She always fancied herself as a model but I remember then that she. was this tall beastly looking girl with no hair. She was the fist black girl in our school with a weave. She was ALWAYS in fights with the other girls. I remember one fight in the 10th grade where she got in a fight with this girl named Latisha. Latisha pulled her weave out and my best friend Derrick used it a as bookmark in his algerbra book. She always bragged about being from NYC but she was as just as common as the rest – funny how I am here now and she isn’t!

Anyway, that episode in Season 2 where she goes back to her mother’s house was interesting because I have been inside that house. In 1985/Athens terms that was a huge place. I remember there was about 15 of us who visited it. I remember at the time someone mentioned her father – who we find out isn’t her father in season 2 – was a drug dealer and that is how he afforded that house.

          • UpperWestSideDude says:

SOorry for the mispellings in my previous post but on my 6th Carona!

          • Jenni says:

            Thanks soooooo much!

          • UpperWestSideDude says:

The fight with Latisha started when NeNe mad fun of her belt. SHe called it a “new wave belt” and called the girl poor. This was 1983 so you have to take it in the context of the times…

          • UpperWestSideDude says:

Curtis who really isn’t her father is the drug dealer. THere was a hot tub in her mother’s bathroom.

          • lillybee says:

I have to say I am from NYC and I know that it doesn’t make one classy. As Lulu tries to sing, Area can’t buy you class.

          • Jenni says:

You really do have the best inside info! I koved NeNe in the 1st season, but then that 2nd season- not so much….

      • RileyKitty says:

SPILL!! just one good story will do LOL. Maybe Lynn will let you guest blog a story 🙂

        • UpperWestSideDude says:

One more tidbit, NeNe had this black tooth from the 9th to the end of the 10th grade. It was more or less this huge black cavity on one of her incisors. She always bragged how her mother enrolled her in Barbizon modeling school but I kept thing to myself what about the black tooth.

      • Oh doooooo tell!!!!

        • UpperWestSideDude says:

She also was a cheerleader. We had this gym coach who was of course playing for the other team. I remember during PE Mrs. Odom asked NeNe about her name – it was strange to her. She replied sarcastically “you know, Knee and a Knee”. As she said the phrase she high kicked each knee into the air and pointed at it. For some reason that exchange always stuck out in my mind as funny…

          • Jenni says:

Wow, so cool, THANKS. Its really weird but I feel sort of honored to be in the same room with you!

            • UpperWestSideDude says:

No probs… I feel weird too. Lesson learned Kiddies. Never drink and surf the net. I just had to share!!!

              • anniieee says:

I teach in an urban school… We have a lot of NeNe’s and Latisha…Wonder how they found her for real housewives? Not a fan of NeNe..not much of a fan of the Atlanta show at all…Lot of wannabes on that show. Thanks so much for the inside skinny….Keep the memories coming UpperWestSideDude!

Luckily I dont have to have anyone RT mean stuff about Jill Zarin, people do it all on their own..and the best part, they enjoy it!

Thinking PattiBaroni is not a fan of the blog? lol

    • RileyKitty says:

that doesn’t even make sense to me… I need to brush up on my tweet speak LOL

      • LynnNChicago says:

It is confusing, PattiBaroni is telling Jill that she also blocked Scorpios_sting because she (scorpio) re-tweeted some of my tweets.

I dont know what Jill said to Patti before this because it was a private DM but I can guess…Jill is blocking anyone on Twitter who follows me.

Skinnykiss then called Patti a tatletale LOL

Thats weird I read Lynns Blog everyday and I have never seen her say that Alex is her BFF nor has she given me that impression. Sounds to me someone is jealous. Whatever, Lynn you ROCK!!! Your BLogs ROCK!!

  72. Beckett says:

@Shadowsnomore – If you can stand another book recommendation, here’s mine: The Glimpses of the Moon by Edmund Crispin. It is one of my all time favorite books. It was published in 1977 so may be hard to find. If there is a good library in your area they may have it. It’s a comedic mystery in the classic British form. The main character is an eccentric, sometimes absent-minded Oxford don. After reading it I went out and found every other book written by Crispin that I could. They were all good!

I would say trust me except that you have no reason to but do it anyway. It’s engaging from the first sentence and laugh-out-loud funny.

    • Looked it up on Amazon. They only have 3 copies available. Quite pricey. I’m going to check with my local library. Sometimes, they can get books from other libraries within the state if they don’t carry a certain title. Thanks!

      • lillybee says:

If you are a bit of a feminist there is Sherri Teppler who writes science fiction and Madge Piercy. They are two of my favorite authors.

    • Beckett says:

PS – I second whoever (sorry, I can’t remember who and I’m too lazy to go back and find it) recommended Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum novels. They are a lot of fun.

  73. Olivia says:

If Jill is brought back next season I will be severely disappointed because it is just a reinforcement of bad, bad behavior.

She tried to undermine Bravo by requesting the others not film with Bethenny.

She tried to ruin the St. John trip by requesting the others follow her to a different spot.

She tried to destroy another castmate’s career by planting items in the press and blogsites.

She acted like a total jerk to the reviewer at Amazon then tried to deny the backlash.

She rushed to congratulate another castmate by publishing incorrect information about a baby’s birth – wrong sex, wrong size, wrong date – then placed the blame on her own child.

She is actively attempting to destroy another castmate based on nothing more than her desire to be the big cheese on a cheesy reality show. Go figure.

She has referred to another castmate’s spouse as a lush and did so through a publication.

She is constantly tweeting and using her Facebook page to demean other cast members and lying through her teeth about her own motives.

Why would Bravo even consider working with this pain in the ass for another season? She has become laughable and not in a “funny” way. Her attempts of claiming to have “changed” are nowhere in evidence and it is beyond me what “storyline” they wish to develop with her for another year.

    • Squirrels says:

      Olivia?…. Fire the bitch !!!

I’ll back you up (ok, not worth squat, but i will back you)

      😀

      • I agree with everything you said! But, it all comes down to the bottom line. Money and ratings. However, I do think they have grounds to fire her just for her trying to sabotage B’s new show. It’s been pointed out many times , production cost money and advertisers could be hurt if B’s show fails. It would impact the bottom line for the entire Bravo programing. I don’t think Jill is worth the cost and potential damage she attempts to spread.

    • cusi77 says:

Olivia– I am with Lynn. If JZ comes for another season I am not going to watch it! She is malicious! Fake fame make people go crazy!

    Didn’t I say I love Kathy Griffin.

I just remembered that on Kathy’s show last year there was an episode by Jill Zarin pushes herself onto an episode where Kathy is hanging out with Paris Hilton. Of course Jill acted an Ass.

So it VERY FUNNY that Kathy Griffin will be on WWHL to comment of the RHONY reunion. It is nice to know that Kathy IS NOT a jill zarin fan.

Here’s a link to the video. Fast forward to 1:55.

    Enjoy!

    • LynnNChicago says:

What a great clip! I remember seeing that episode on Bravo and did not see Jill Zarin so it must have been cut out of some of the airings. Can’t wait to see what Kathy has to say on WWHL on Thursday.

    • kokuanani says:

This “event” = “essence of Jill”

      ** interrupt
** insert one’s self into conversation
** make it “all about me”
** attempt to promote Zarin Fabrics
** fail to take a hint that others want the event [and talk about Jill] to end

  75. Olivia says:

A friend of mine has a daughter who works as a stylist in NYC. She helps dress the stars for appearances, etc.

Anyway, she was mentioning that one of the ladies she has helped dress is Danielle of all people. Her daughter told her that Danielle was very pleasant, helpful, and cooperative believe it or not. She said she did not behave like we see her on tv and she was surprised to see Danielle in another light.

It may be just the fact that Danielle had to be “dressed” so to speak; possibly a new venture for her since she is usually either half dressed or wearing nothing at all if that sex video is telling the truth.

    • LynnNChicago says:

That doesn’t really surprise me. Danielle doesn’t seem to have an issue with people until they disagree with her, then she seems to go a little bananas. OK a lot bananas!

      • Olivia says:

Oh yes, she is totally nuts but it is interesting when someone mentions a different reaction to her offscreen.

I bet Jill would be very difficult to deal with. I can hear her complaining that she did not get a close enough seat at the Crucifiction. More so if there was no food being served.

      • cusi77 says:

Your blog today is one of the best! I like it very much!

  76. Jill makes me sick, as you can see from my own blog, http://justcarrieann.wordpress.com/
I’m so tired of Jill attacking people. First it was Bethenny, and now she’s moved to Alex… it makes me sick. Jill kept saying how she’s “changed” at the reunion, she hasn’t changed ONE bit.
I was blown away that Jill told the other ladies not to film with Bethenny, that she was going to her own show, and it should just be the “5 of them”…. Jill is such a bitch…. she truly wanted to hurt Bethenny’s show.

I know Jill is pissed that you had a party for Alex and Simon while they were in Chicago…. it burns her up because of WHO threw them the party…. Lynn from Chicago, who hates Jill Zarin. Alot of people hate JZ, including me…. Jill doesn’t control Alex and Simon’s decisions, she needs to get over it. All she’s doing is making a bigger ass of herself.
Jill is spreading lies about Alex too, because of her new friendship with Bethenny…. plain and simple. She’s now blaming Alex for her getting turned away in the VI, and I even bet she’s blaming Alex now because Bethenny STILL doesn’t want her in her life, she feels like Alex replaced her.
I HATE you Jill Zarin…. your like a really bad aftertaste that just won’t go away…. quit trying to turn people, NO ONE is listening to you anymore!
GREAT blog Lynn, thank you for checking mine out! xo

Jill appears to be on the attack against Alex using either her ineffective PR group or her idiot nephew Jon. From the style of writing being used (here and on the Bravo NYHW boards, my current vote is for the PR groupies.

They have an “interesting” style of posting, rather a velvet glove style. (Compliments first, then backhanding the targets)

It will be interesting to see how soon they return with the next step.

      • Yeah, You’ve definitely pegged their style. I’ve seen it not only here but on a lot of the other blog sites that aren’t Jill Zarin friendly.

        • DarkSonnet says:

The style currently in effect on Bravo is painting Alex with the mental illness brush and classifying Kelly as merely being an airhead with no malicious intent and certainly no mental issues.

Using terms for Alex as “making my skin crawl”, etc., while proclaiming to be somewhat of a mental health enthusiast.

(Their “knowledge” was possibly acquired by personal visits to said clinics.)

One identifier is that they are wordy as heck. They must be getting paid by the word, if not by the letter.

I think that Jill has attacked all of the housewives this season even the ones on “her team'”. I think Lulu will be jumping ship soon if she hasn’t already.

    • RileyKitty says:

Yep! How about her nasty comment about Lulu’s e-vite “I see you didn’t put much thought into it, but whateva”?

    • Squirrels says:

I agree Jill has burned every bridge from Atlanta to the sea. As to Lulu? She’s escaped with it’s all about media love fests. We know what she is, but I doubt it will come to light in mainstream paparazzi media. She’s not “target” enough to be hazed. Not “talented” enough to be considered.

    Hello, Lynn!

If you have to choose to be in the same room with Danielle or Kelly…

Which one you will choose? (remember, you have to choose…)

    • Squirrels says:

KELLY !!!! OH LET ME AT HER !!!!!

The first time she says, “what are you doing?” I’ll be happy to tell her.

    • Anitabee says:

Granted I am not Lynn but…

I’d hug Danielle. Kelly doesn’t live in our reality. Her’s had unicorns, cartwheels and it is sunny just for her every time she steps outside her appartment. I wonder is she goes out in the winter time in NY when there is no sun.

She doesn’t acknowledge women unless a guy is around.

Danielle is at least lies about stuff she does. Kelly refuses to even acknowledge the damage she causes.

      • Olivia says:

Danielle for me. A woman who would do what she is doing to her kids deserves a beating. Those two girls do not deserve to have a mother that is this cheap.

  81. Jenni says:

I hope all you folks down here aren’t missing UpperWestSideDude’s stories about his days in high school with NeNe from HW of Atlanta upthread?

  82. UpperWestSideDude says:

With all that I’ve said, I think NeNe is a victim of the same delusional notions of grandeur as our Jill Zarin. They take it up a notch once they feel they’ve acquired celebrity status.

Real Housewives of New York City’s Reunion Explodes Slowly | Keeping the Faith | Jewish Journal http://bit.ly/cBTJcp

I’m pretty sure someone already posted this but I just now had a chance to read it. This is really funny stuff, if you haven’t yet…it is a must read. I love that it is a Jewish website but the writer sees right through Jill.

My favorite part “Sit quietly Kelly” lmao!

  84. anutha hata says:

Does anyone else think that Kelly’s mysterious “source” for her supposed info. that Bethenny was having her “people” plant stuff that, (supposedly), hurt Kelly’s family, was Jill?
I almost expected Kelly to look at Jill for approval when Kelly & Bethenny were going at it during reunion part 1.
Kelly did reveal that whatever it was, was something on Page Six. The only negative thing that I know of that was published on Page Six about Kelly, were the true facts that any newspaper would have access-to, the facts about Kelly’s domestic-violence against her boyfriend.
For Kelly to blame Bethenny for that-would be stupid of course.
But what-if someone told Kelly that Bethenny or Bethenny’s “people” had the item placed?
(unless, in Kelly’s world, anyone who does anything that Kelly doesn’t like, is one of Bethenny’s people, (“What PEOPLE??!!”-Bethenny)), and sadly, that could be the case.
But, what-if Jill told Kelly that Bethenny’s “people” were doing it?
I wish that someone would just come out and ask Kelly if it was Jill who told her that. Or, ask Jill, in public, to publicly say that if she, (Jill), told Kelly that Bethenny or her “people”-did it, for Jill to publicly say that it was ok for Kelly to reveal it.
Unless Kelly made it up herself, someone is holding her hostage for this piece of information. If Kelly is protecting someone out of friendship, whoever it is is certainly not her friend.
I can understand Kelly’s point actually not wanting to be a tattle-tale, but at this point, whoever she is protecting, really should have let her off the hook.
Plus the fact that Kelly is like a dog with a bone with her claim.
Most normal people would have figured-out that Bethenny & her “people” didn’t do it, and that all Kelly is protecting is a big fat lie.

  85. Olivia says:

Storyline for next season’s NY Housewives:

Jill is seen and comments on the “dating adventures” of Sonja who surprises her by bringing a female “date” to the next Fashion Show event. Jill is “not happy”.

Jill lunches with Lu Ann and tries to get the dirt on the newest bf Jacques and finds out that he is really a classmate of Victoria but because he is European he is very mature for his age. Jill is “not happy”.

Jill and Kelly embark on a fun afternoon of “crafting” and Kelly tells her that the horse in the living room actually acts as her own personal psychic. Jill is “not happy”.

Jill and Ramona, with Bethenny’s absence, kiss and make up once again and pledge to love one another forever as they have been friends for years and yada, yada, yada.
Mario comments that he is “renewing” his loathing of Jill and Lu Ann because he has heard this crap forever. Jill is screams “toxicity” since she has not used that word in a whole year.

Gloria makes a guest appearance and gives “her heart” to Jennifer Gilbert who demands to look at her contract remembering this same utterance given to Bethenny. Jill is “pissed”.

Bobby and Ginger refuse to relinquish the apartment and take up their weapons to defend their territory since so much money was spent on the recent remodeling and Ginger discovers that her lamb chops are not welcome in the new digs. Jill cries.

Jill’s psychic returns and tells her that Bethenny has blown the lid off Bravo’s ratings and her brand has now made it onto the NYSE. Jill throws herself off the Brooklyn Bridge on her way to emit consolation from Alex and Simon who she learns have left for a vacation in Chicago.

    Fade to black.

One more side story, I remember when NeNe got in a fight with the same Latisha in 12 grade social studies class – this was a class right after the lunch period. These girls went at it and it was scary. A very physical fight with a lot of smacking, scratching, and pulling of hair. NeNe was not anyone to mess with because she was a huge girl who towered over all of us…

  87. Adgirl says:

dumberries – as far I can tell all of Jill’s relationships (on TV) are transactional. Meaning there is a quid per quo. God help you if you don;t recognize that are don;t pay up in full.
Alex doesn’t have anything Jill values (i.e -social standing above hers, access to connected people, fame),

So, Jill has no use (literally!) for Alex. That’s why Jill feels free to pick on and ostracize her.

To those posters who come here to complain about this site … change the channel. Lynn is clear on the POV here. We support and appreciate her. I’m sure it takes a lot of time and dedication to provide this site for us. For the life of me I don’t see how she could be monetizing it.
We flocked here because of the extreme contempt Jill has for her fans. Most of us really liked Jill and were shocked by her behavior (and ongoing behavior. Yipes!)

I don’t visit boards that bug me. Neither should you.

I am off to bed. Night, Ladies & Dude 😉

  89. UpperWestSideDude says:

one more thing, in the 9th grade we had this science teacher name Mrs. Hazen – I think she was Egyptian. Anyway, NeNe was always giving this woman a hard time. She actually got expelled for week because she made some off-handed remark about Mrs Hazen’s hot flashes and her grasp on the English language. She kept opening and closing the windows during the winter months. They actually had an agrument in class and NeNe was promptly suspended for week from school. I honestly believe Mrs. hazen was going through the “change of life” when this happened.

    • Jenni says:

Your memory is remarkable, even the teacher’s names. Thanks for sharing and good night to all!

Awsome stories Dude – love it!
The blog is moving slowly (well the comments are) I’m going to go ahead and post a new blog with the same content as this one just to refresh comments.

To the Death by 1000 Paper Cuts writer who thinks that Bethenny should have forgiven Jill:

Had Jill been sincere in her apology, yes perhaps B should have forgiven, forgotten, and moved one with her life.

However, B did not buy any of Jill’s bull**** and good for her. Based on Jill’s rants on the reunion and the days since it is very clear that Jill was simply offering up words with no significance. If she were truly apologetic and changed she would not continue to bash Bethenny.

  93. causticbroad says:

I’m kind of tardy for the party here so this may have been said (it’s 2 am so yes I am obsessed but not enough to read each and every comment) But don’t you find it funny that BOTH Kelidiot and JILL both talk about Alex and B “planting negative stories” yet neither one of them can offer any “proof or evidence” as Sonja would say. ???? Those 2 give me HIVES!!!

  94. Amber...Real Housewife says:

    A few observations

Dear Gloria aka MommyDearest was defunct as soon as Jill’s hateful behaviour was shown by ep2? Questions from desperate jewish girls flooded bravos office and email yet Gloria refused to ruin poor men’s relationships, discourage inter-racial dating, or increase jewelry sales etc.

Vicki from the OC STFU and was never heard from again. Why all the bickering? Because your bitchy cow friend is trying to ruin a reputation, destroy a brand, and sabotage a show! That what!

During the reunion either ALEX had her chest and neck spackled with makeup or our girlthursday actually is now VERY COMFORTABLE CONFRONTING PEOPLE. She did NOT BREAK OUT IN HIVES at all! She can rumble with the rude witches and not be frazzled. I think her strength and calm comes with knowing she is in the right, defending herself, her family and mankind. LOL

  95. Nic says:

I have had a theory since about the middle of the season regarding Jill remaining on the show. Since learning of how she ask the other castmates not to film with Bethenny, wanting Bethenny’s show to fail and the production staff contacting Ramona about not filming with Bethenny,, I am now believing my theory may hold water.

I stated on the Bravo message board weeks ago that I thought Bravo had a plan to remove Jill from the show but for that to happen they had to do something with
the hugh fanbase that they thought Jill had. Bravo did not want to do anything that would rile up the fanbase and lose viewers so they came up with what I think was a brilliant idea and Jill provided everything they needed to succeed.

Looking back on this season, Bravo has not shown Jill in a good light in one single scene. Even the skating scene showed Jill making an ass out of herself. Bravo has shown all the ugly comments Jill has made, all the underhanded things Jill has done. Week after week, scene after scene has made me go from being a fan of Jill to loathing the sight of her and wanting her off the show to the point of starting a petition to remove her. All one has to do is read a few blogs and message boards and you can see that Jill’s fan base has declined greatly. People don’t just dislike Jill, they can’t stand the sight of her now and tuned in week after week hoping to see her get what she had coming. I think Bravo had enough film that they could have shown more positive footage of Jill but chose not to. Bravo knew what they were doing by letting the fans get to know the real Jill and their plan has worked better than I think they thought it would.

Jill became a liability for Bravo and they had to do something and I think they are brilliant for handling it this way.

  96. Maureen OC says:

I have no interest in watching Jill Zarin on RHNYC next year. I stopped being interested in that type of behavior when I was in middle school. If I want to see immaturity I can watch it in my own kids – and even they are more mature than Jill.
Alex and Simon are great and have been my favorites since the first season. I could see what a genuinely kind person Alex was when she invited Bethenny to her son’s birthday party because she knew that Bethenny wanted kids. Silex’s eccentricities are fun to watch and don’t hurt anyone.
Jill on the hand is a vicious B!tch who is always trying to make everything about her. She’s boring – she never tries anything knew like surfing, dancing, runway walking, etc. She just sits around (sometimes in a caftan) making nasty comments about everyone.
BRAVO GET RID OF JILL. You are partially responsible for making this monster now get rid of her.

I want to see Alex, and Simon come back next season. If Jills leaves because of them that is just a win/win situation. It shouldn’t be hard for Bravo to find another backstabbing, lying, self promoting twit like her!

  99. Sharonlynn says:

Jill is just a cast member on a reality show and she sounds rediculous when she makes comments as if she is the Producer in charge. Also, did anyone pick up on Jill’s comments during the Watch What Happens Live Show? She was talking to Andy Cohen than she goes on to discuss the Millionaire Matchmaker dating show, and she says, “If you’re a millionaire and you wish to be on the show, contact me at Jill Zarin….. Andy Cohen Immediately had to put Jill in her place saying, “No, do not contact Jill Zarin!” Also, Jill is still telling subjects to contact her for certain shows including Millionaire Matchmaker. She’s like one of those people who pretend to have authority, power and decision, but frankly, she looks rediculous. She has a serious behavioral problem. Always looking for recongnition and attempting to take credit for things she has never earned. She’s just a pea in a pot. She’s just another person on a reality show. Jill is more suited for The Jerry Springer Hillbilly Show.

  100. Sharonlynn says:

Oh yes, one more thing, I cannot stand her mother. I’m sorry to seem critical but the truth is, you can easily tell her mother is just as mean as Jill. You can see that during the photo shoot she was taking with Jill and Jill’s sister, Lisa. The mother angrily says, “Take the picture!” Also, the mother is credited for the book and if you’ve read the book, well, who helped write the book?” It says a lot about all three of them. They all had their hands in the book.
