I Hate Jill Zarin Bethenny’s Getting Married? July 11, 2010

I Hate Jill Zarin                   Bethenny’s Getting Married?     July 11, 2010

Thanks everyone for your patience, I was out of town all weekend and unfortunately had no internet access at the hotel, that was supposed to have internet access.  Other than the lack of internet access, Canada was amazing!  The best trip ever!

Bethenny’s wedding was stunning!  Jason and Bethenny’s vows were fairly traditional, nothing too unusual but wow what an amazing venue for a wedding.  I loved the décor, the flowers were beautiful and I can’t wait to see the rest of the party as well as the honeymoon next week.

I have obviously been out of the loop for a few days so I need to do some reading and find out what’s happening and write a full blog tomorrow.

Thanks again for your patience and understanding.

Until Next Time…..

  1. Denise says:

I love Bethenny and her brutal candor, but I have to say I was a bit unnerved by her peeing in a champagne bucket, held by her BFF and (gay) male wedding planner.

And I thought his talking head reaction was hilarious!

    • error 404 says:

Bethenny is getting to know for peeing on camera now. lol She better watch out before this becomes her “table flip”. I can just imagine B on the red carpet somewhere, 100s of paparazzi shouting “Bethenny! Bethenny! Can you pee for us?”

    • Maxine49 says:

Gee, I guess you’ve never been pregnant in a poofy wedding gown with no access to a bathroom…LOL! I thought it was actually quite smart of them. It’s just nature, nothing to be squeamish about., really.

      • SusanS88 says:

I totally agree, it looked to me like she had no other choice. If it were me, I would have rather pee’d in the bucket than risk peeing in my pants during the ceremony or having the pain be a distraction from my special day.

I figured a lot of folks would weigh in on this one. Once I found out why they chose that route, I totally understood.

I freakin loved this episode. Shawn was fantastic, the vows were prefect and the humor was spot on. I’ve watched it a few times now and laughed and cried. I replayed it while my hubby was a captive audience on Saturday. He really got a kick out of Jason saying, “can I kiss her now?” and the officiant’s clever response.

Did anyone notice Simon’s unintelligible remark at the cake cutting and how they panned in on him once and he appeared to be dozing just a bit? What the hell did he say? The only other weird thing I noticed was the crazy dancing, including the pool antics. I figure we don’t know the back story there and Jason seems to know his friends pretty well. Seems like they all took it in stride, though.

I’ll be waiting for Lynn’s always entertaining recap. Thanks!

      • mnsue says:

I would be frustrated if I were filmed and someone else edited. We saw the clip for weeks before the actual scene. In the scene they explain how she would have had to walk through her guests to get to the bathroom. Plus Sean blogged that they discussed that logistical problem.

I understand her peeing but why on film?

  2. anitabee says:

Lynn, thank goodness you’re back. I got worried that something had happened to you. So happy to hear that everything is ok and you’re doing well.

    Hurray!

  3. Jules says:

I thought perhaps Jill had done away with you. Maybe she arranged to have the internet service at your location compromised. How’s that for Jill paranoia

  4. lillybee says:

    See you all tomorrow.

  5. cusi77 says:

    Dear Lynn,

So glad to hear you had a great time in Canada… It is all that matters! Having a well deserved vacation time!

You have been so generous giving your time to us. You are thoughtfull, open, understanding… We all love you.

    Now a little report:
    Everybody behave.
    We had NO trolls whatsoever.
We enjoy gathering and interchanging ideas in defferent topics.
    Just imagine… about 1,450 comments!
Mickey Mouth received recognition for her great talent! We are so proud of her!

    Welcome Dear!

  6. lillybee says:

Jill hasn’t posted on her facebook since July 7th. I wonder if something is going on.

  7. knocknoc says:

Don’t worry Jill is only regrouping, laying low, and figuring out how to attract her “fans” back. Unfortunately, her absence doesn’t make hearts grow fonder….she’s burned too many bridges.

  8. Adgirl says:

I enjoyedthe wedding. By far the most moving times revolved around Jason’s emotions. His vows were tender, heartfelt and loving.
Sometimes it’s hard for me to reconcile Jason and his adorable parents with Bethenny’s acid tongue!! But they all embrace and love her whole heartedly regardless – who knew?
There is hope for all of us loud mouths!

I think Bethenny won the lottery on this family!

  9. Need a Hobby says:

Welcome back, Lynn! Glad you had a great vacation. Don’t apologize. Life happens.

  11. moriasheehan says:

OT, anyone watch Murder on the Orient Express last night?

    • Wallflower says:

I have it DVRd, but haven’t gotten a chance to see it yet. There was another special with David Suchet on PBS on The Orient Express, but I forgot to record it!!!! I’m a big fan of Mystery, especially the Agatha Christie series.

    • JazzNightOut says:

Yes, but I am going to watch it again on http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/masterpiece/ because I kept getting a digital bleed on my screen last night. It was much darker than the movie with Albert Finney. I think David Suchet is the definitive Poirot, as Jeremy Brett was the definitive Sherlock Holmes.

      • moriasheehan says:

i was very disturbed by the darkness. i agree David Suchet and Jeremy Brent are the definitive actors of their characters. i have been huge fan of Christie since i was a kid and i was not happy with the screenwriter changing Hercules personality so much. i don’t think it is in the spirit of a Christie

        • JazzNightOut says:

Did you ever read the final Poirot mystery by Christie? I cannot remember the name of it now. Wish I could and am too busy to look it up now. The Poirot in last night’s rewriting of Murder on the Orient Express is the Poirot in that book. I wonder how much Christie herself became dark at times in her life?

          • moriasheehan says:

the book was Curtain and yes it was dark. i read an article last night that said Dame Agatha was possibly experiencing dementia in her later years, which may have influenced her writing. i am reading The Dead Man’s Mirror, a short story with Hercule, right now to compare. i am heading to library later to check out The Mysterious Affair at Styles, the first Hercule novel, i will also get Curtain as i have only read it once when it was first released and all i remember is not liking it as much as all the other Hercule stories and novels.

            • Lolo says:

She actually wrote Curtain earlier in her career – in the 40s, and kept it to be released later. It is dark, but I think by that time she had tired of the “little man”, like Ariadne and her Finn detective. : )

              • moriasheehan says:

i didn’t know that. thanks, i will have to do more research before i write. i just remember when it was released my daughter was around 3 which would make it ’75?

    • error 404 says:

I always loved that movie, and was so disappointed that Death on the Nile was such a bomb.

      • moriasheehan says:

i didn’t like Peter Ustinov as Poirot. Albert Finney and Alfred Molina were much better. Death on the Nile had some BAD acting.

    • tuzentswurth says:

I have both shows DVR’d for later. Love Suchet as Poirot, love Christie stories. She was truly great. At least we’ll have other things to talk about if there is ever a lull!

    • TT in OC (formerly An American Alien) says:

I watched the special regarding David Suchet on The Orient Express. Although I am not sure I can sleep with the noise on the train, I sure want to travel on the Orient Express. When I was in college, I read most of Agatha Christie’s books.

      • tuzentswurth says:

That has always been a dream of mine too. Maybe we could start the IHJZ travel club and get group discounts on tours!

  12. moriasheehan says:

welcome back, Lynn. loved the pic you tweeted of you and hunky cousin. you look like you were having a great time. too bad the gremlins got into the internet access at the hotel, we all missed you.

Wrong island Jill – it should be Shutter Island!

    • quincyillinois says:

Kinda lonely weekend for Jill. Just going around an island with Bobby as captain of the vessel. Just think of the conversations that had. “Do you like my hair, Bobby?,” “Should I wear red or black?,” “What will you buy me from the Island Gift Shop, Bobby?”

I guess it’s better than working on pasture fence with my brother while discussing ways of closing the Gulf oil pipeline and Illinois corrupt politicians.
We got a lot of work done and I think we fixed the oil leak…. if the feds will let us try.

      • error 404 says:

She’s smart to twitter a pic. When her body goes missing and Bawby starts telling the police she was despondent lately over her bad editing and broken friendship with B, her fans (or is fan by now?) can use this as evidence of wrong doing.

My fav movie, not just fav Hitchcock, but all time fav movie is North by Northwest.

    • error 404 says:

A Former Jill Fan: funny you picked Rope. Have you ever seen Swoon?

Moriasheenan: I think The Trouble With Harry is perhaps his most underrated film. Such a gem!

      • quincyillinois says:

I liked “Somethings Got to Give: with Dianne Keeton. I guess I like the Hamptons Beach lifestyle. That house was fantastic.

BTW… There is a show called, “Selling NY.” It’s a chance to see into those apartments and town houses. All I can say is… our housewives are playing second fiddle in NYC.

        • error 404 says:

Her house looked like a Robert AM Stern, although you never know as that style is so prevalent in the Hamptons. When I worked for Thierry Despont I worked on the Kelly Klein house – we always called it Kelly’s house, never Calvin’s. LOL

Yes, Jill’s apt especially is just so generic. Although it’s depressing to me that even a Morgan with a $7million townhouse, has “issues”.

Bravo’s ‘Million Dollar Listing’ cracks me up, as even crappy shit holes in NYC were going for a million during the boom. lol

          • CuckooforCocoaPuffs says:

Wow, Thierry Despont?? I bet you have some great stories to tell!

          • quincyillinois says:

Jill’s apartment is tiny compared to those in “Selling NYC.” My daughter stayed at an apartment in 1000 Park Place NYC and she thought that we have a nicer home in the middle of farm land USA.

            • quincyillinois says:

That was Park Ave. I looked at the web site. The apartments start at 2 million….

      • Squirrels says:

Agreed on The Trouble with Harry.

        Another good one… Harvey

      • If my memory is correct (and I’m not entirely certain it is) I first saw Rope in a college film study class. Though it’s supposed to be suspenseful, I guess, we think it’s hilarious. I’ve never heard of Swoon, so I wiki’d it and know I’ve never seen it but think I have seen the other movie Compulsion based on Leopold & Loeb trial.

Hitchcock’s The Birds affected me most of my life until a couple of years ago when I watched it in its entirety and resolved my fear of birds pecking out eyes. I first saw it on tv when I was around 10 in the 5th grade. Watched it with my mom one night and had to sleep with my arm over my eyes for years after. LOL!

Well, truth be told, I still have to cover my eyes sometimes, more out of habit now than fear of having a bird peck out my eyes! But I still cannot sit at a desk with a shelf near eye level or a lampshade too close to my eyes, or with a straw pointed in the direction of my eyes. Anything pointed at my eyes or too close has to be moved or turned away from my eyes or I have to shield my eyes with my hand. And that all started after watching The Birds.

Psycho affected my sister in that she’s never been able to take showers. Not me, though.

    • moriasheehan says:

GREAT movie! i just like the very low key humor of TWH, NBNW would be #2 for me. Rear W, 3.

    • 2Stupid says:

Error, mine too. I mean they just don’t make them like Carey Grant anymore. Someitmes I think George Clooney could be a modern day, but still no one compares to the original. Pair that with Hithchock and you have a true masterpiece. I have to admit, I like just about every movie Carey Grant is in though.

      • DesertGal says:

I loved everything Grant did with Hitchcock, and “Arsenic” and “Penny Serenade”, (oh, heck, I just loved Cary Grant period) but my favorite Grant film will always be “Father Goose”. Not because the plot was so great-it was kinda humdrum- but because I think Grant and Trevor Howard improvised/ad-libbed most of their lines, and it really showcased Grant’s finely tuned humor.

        • sweet pea says:

“Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House”. Cary Grant and Myrna Loy. *Sigh*

One of my other favorite classics is “The Ghost and Mrs. Muir”. Rex Harrison and Jean Tiernney.

        • I forgot Arsenic and Old Lace with Cary Grant! That is one of our favorites! 🙂

  17. floridagirl88 says:

Do you think Kellamity lifted the phrase “nervous breakthrough” from someone because I can’t believe she came up with that herself. I was watching a YouTube video of Mary Karr about her book “Lit” and there she is in October 2009 using the phrase, “… my nervous breakthrough…” Just an observation.

    • error 404 says:

I love Mary Karr. Kinda Bethenny like.

Yes, Kiki hasn’t had an original though since 1979. Even “I’m hungry” is lifted from someone.

      • jezzibel says:

Kelly should’nt even be left in charge of a empty paper bag…she’d probably try and wear it as a dress and call herself a designer

        • jezzibel says:

It only took her 3 minutes to contradict herself…..we could possibly turn this into some kind of drinking game

@JAMlE_ i know you feel betrayed by BRAVO.i am only human. please move forward. i am bored with the ‘breakthrough’. i filmed 3 days later.

          • CuckooforCocoaPuffs says:

I honestly don’t think Kelly remembers most of the VI trip – she’s a drunk, and a black out drunk at that. She has never once addressed any specific question about the events. After the first VI episode, she wrote in her blog dated May 11th : “I am incredibly embarrassed about how I acted.” That was her one and only apology for her behaviour, and since then it has been all about how SHE was bullied.

            • error 404 says:

Almost immediately afterward, she amended “I’m so embarrassed by how I behaved” to “I’m so embarrassed by how I behaved. I let the bullies get to me and reacted poorly.” Somebody must have talked to a pr consultant. Or Jill.

            • JazzNightOut says:

“I honestly don’t think Kelly remembers most of the VI trip – she’s a drunk, and a black out drunk at that.”

There is something about Kelly’s judgemental, rigid, “platitude” spouting act that screams dry drunk to me. Could be soooooooooooooo wrong, but she is just so brittle and fragile even when she tries to be an authority unto herself that leads me to think that it is a cover up for not dealing with a huge problem.

              • CuckooforCocoaPuffs says:

Having been married to a dry drunk, I can see that possibility – except by all accounts she is still drinking…. when she was on the couch at the reunion and snarkily insisted, right after admitting that Sonja didn’t bully her, that Sonja was drinking heavily and couldn’t have known whether the others were bullying her or not, I got a really strong feeling that alcohol was a huge part of Kelly’s problem.

Remember when Ramona, at the ice-skating rink, kept insisting that Kelly was allergic to alcohol? Kelly denied it, but I think Ramona believed that her drinking was the problem on the island.

              • Jules says:

Yeah, I also wondering when they pinned her down at the Reunion show, and actually made her answer certain specific questions. One was do you drink, or not? She said, “I drink beer, and Patron.” Then she added somewhat defensively, but not every day. What social drinker would feel the need to add that disclaimer at the end?

            • JazzNightOut says:

Hi Cuckoo. I couldn’t find the reply for your last post on this subject, so I am replying here. Yes, I remember Ramona saying that to Kelly. I think Kelly does have an alcohol problem as well. She is just so thumpyingly judgemental and yet so brittle that I thought she might be holding on for dear life, lol.

    • mnsue says:

I have thought for a while that someone coached her in damage control after the trip. Not good damage control but she has all those weird, disjointed responses about it being entertainment, breakthrough etc.

Someone may have said this stuff trying to comfort her?

      • DesertGal says:

Yeah, I gotta agree. You get the sense that some PR consultant fed Kelly a bunch of responses, and she just keeps reciting the list by rote over and over. And, on the reunion, when she got into the whole “systematic bullying” thing, she said that “it was a clear case of systematic bullying” about three times, in a flat monotone- ventriloquist dummies have more animation – it was pretty obvious she’d been fed that line by someone and told to stick to it in response to any questions.

        • WindyCityWondering says:

Wondering what the Bravo escort home talked about on that flight with Kelly? All her one sentence blogs had to be done by someone other than Kelly!

      • tuzentswurth says:

Drinking…yes, partly. Covering for a HUGE problem with illegal substance abuse? Looks convincing. Or possibly a prescription drug problem that is way out of control, prescribed by a Dr who understands how much pressure is on her to be authentic, genuine, real, iconic……..feeds her self absorption and laughs all the way to the bank.
Could someone tell me why Lindsay Lohan would be on DILAUDID a month after wisdom teeth were extracted????????

    • WindyCityWondering says:

When Kelly has the “volume” turned down she picks up words or phrases from conversations and makes them her own. She has borrowed everything except a working brain!

QuincyIllinois – I love that movie Something’s Gotta Give, I also really like It’s Complicated (both Nancy Meyers films). Same concept older successful female great house and finding love. So smart and fun to watch.

I’m obsessed with the documentary on Vogue, it’s called The September Issue, many great surprises in it and is the real life Devil Wears Prada (another one of my favorites). When I watched it for the 100th time I realized all the talented and amazing women who work at Vogue right in NYC, it makes the current HW cast look even worst. There’s a talented pool of females to choose from in all these cities I hope they start working on that.

    • quincyillinois says:

I love the clothes of the NYC women. OC seems cheap looking. The NJ clothes are not my cup of tea at all.

My husband seems to think that anyone can go to one of those fashion shows. He said that he would buy a ticket for me. I think that the people who buy for large companies go to look for their stores. Can anyone go to a fashion show?

      • Adios Lunatic says:

The tickets for the Fashion Week shows are controlled by the designer(s) and the sponsors. Very hard to get tickets unless you are a fashion writer, buyer, etc.

Remember Make Me a Supermodel on Bravo? Well, I was the Grand Prize Winner and got to go to FW last September. We had a blast and my tickets came through American Express which sets up a few VIP seats for each of the big shows. The cost of the tickets alone was $2,800 for two people to attend one show. It was worth the taxes I paid on the prize since I have always wanted to go.

        • Squirrels says:

          Cool! What did you wear?

          • Adios Lunatic says:

Long black wool pencil skirt and a pearl grey cashmere wrap sweater and black patent leather heels.

My best friend of 30 years (since Jr. HS) was completely freaked out. She’s never going to be mistaken for a “fashionista” and doesn’t want to be so she didn’t know what to wear and since she lives in Seattle and I live in Houston I couldn’t help her too much. She got it together and we had a great, great time in NYC and at the Tommy Hilfiger show!

            • quincyillinois says:

I’m glad you had that opportunity and enjoyed the experience. Thanks for the information.

Kell from “Kell on Earth” had a black wardrobe witch included a lot of casual clothes. I was surprised that she didn’t care about clothes.

              • Adios Lunatic says:

That poor woman didn’t care about clothes or makeup at all. We saw her before the show and I would have never guessed it was her — she had no presence and no one was paying any attention. Fern Mallis on the other hand was far prettier in person and was clearly in charge.

It was a once in a lifetime opportunity and I loved every minute of it — especially the SWAG.

        • JazzNightOut says:

Are you the beautiful brunette who did the “editorial” arch of the back so well?

        • tuzentswurth says:

Very cool, thanks for sharing! And kudos to you.

Re: Beekmans Josh’s books are very good. The Bucolic Plague fills in all the back story on how they came upon the farm etc. Its a good read. His other I’m Not Myself These Days is completely different but still is witty and compelling. Its amazing Josh is still alive…..

I know noone is on the subject of mvies anymore but I wanted to add Scent Of A Woman. Al Pacino in the end gets me every time.

And Cusi (sp?) was hilarious last night when she said we were all lost children at a bus stop. I LOL’ed!

I love anything Hepburn and Grant are in.

Speaking of a different Hepburn, Holly Golightly is a classic role.

TPS has always been overrated IMO, but still good. OTOH, I absolutely loath High Society *shudders*

Ditto to TPS. Of the two by the same playwright, I prefer Holiday.

    • 2Stupid says:

I love this movie as well. I have to say I am partial to the remake with Carey Grant and Grace Kelley. As I mentioned to Error up thread I have a big place in my heart for Carey Grant. He optimizes a true gentleman to me (in movieland of course!)

      • Squirrels says:

Grant was originally a circus performer, which is why he does his own tumbling stunts in different films over the years.

      • moriasheehan says:

actually it was Bing Crosby with Grace Kelly and Frank Sinatra in the Jimmy Stewart role.
        .

        • moriasheehan says:

Cary Grant and Grace Kelly did To Catch a Thief together.

        • 2Stupid says:

You’re right, my bad. Bing comes in a close second for me as all time favorite. The Bells of St. Mary is a holiday classic for me as well as Holiday Inn. People say he was horrible in real life, but I don’t let that interfere with my adoration for him. Wasn’t Grant in Philadelphia Story?

          • moriasheehan says:

yes, Grant, Hepburn, Stewart, Ruth Hussey and Roland Yound played Uncle Willie. he also starred in the Topper movies with Grant.
Mr Blandings is one of my favs, too. has anyone seen Cary Grant and Ginger Rogers, Marilyn Monroe and Charles Coburn in Monkey business?

    With @Bethenny WENDY WILLIAMS !!

  26. TLM says:

Just saw Bethenny on Wendy Williams today. She said she won’t be going back to Housewives (“I really don’t think so…I’m sorry”), that Jill never sent her a baby gift, and she didn’t expect one. “I’m kind of onto positive things and that’s very ’09, that whole argument,” she said.

I really think it was classless of Jill not to send a baby gift after all that buildup, even if it was the last effort she made to Bethenny. I think it should have come with an apology for her crazy incorrect and premature announcement of the birth on Twitter. To me, her not sending a gift made all her wishes for B’s happiness and her supposed happiness about the baby insincere. I don’t know, maybe I’m being ridiculous and maybe Bethenny wouldn’t even want to look at something that came from Jill, but I just feel that Jill should have made that effort. She could well afford to send something, even if it was just flowers.

    • CuckooforCocoaPuffs says:

I read somewhere that Jill said she did send “a FABULOUS baby gift” to Bethenny… can’t remember where, though.

    • cusi77 says:

@TLM__ I think Jill would like to put her little fingers on Bryn… She probably prefers to bring the “gift” herself… Guess what? It is not going to happen!

Remember at The Reunion she said “I want to see your baby”… no,no,no,no

    • lillybee says:

Especially when she had that photo op at a new store, holding up a onesie to the camera. This was right after she made the announcement that Beth had a boy.

    • gypsy826 says:

I’m glad she didn’t send a gift. Can’t you hear her now: “I put clothes on that baby’s back! “

    • tuzentswurth says:

oh come on, she gave her latkes and a hug, what more do you want?LOL

  27. Squirrels says:

I loved the part in the last episode where Jill yells “You’re pregnant, who gives a shit?” Beth replies, “I don’t give a shit.” She just didn’t add, “about you and your bullshit.”

    • PantryViewer says:

What? I don’t remember any of that. Do tell a bit more if anyone can shed light on that exchange…

      • CuckooforCocoaPuffs says:

It was at the end of the vow renewal episode. Jill was implying that the fight didn’t matter, because B’s having a baby was so much more important. B’s response, “I don’t give a shit”, was clearly meant as “I don’t give a shit about you anymore”.

      • Squirrels says:

At the end of Ramona and Mario’s party. Jill implies, life is good. What she was really doing was getting face time with her good friend Beth, but it blew up in her face.

        • PantryViewer says:

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah! I remember that. Sorry.

I totally got that same impression, that B was saying she doesn’t give a shit about her at all – ha! Love it.

          Thanks guys.

    • CuckooforCocoaPuffs says:

I have to believe that what really went on with JZ and Bethenny was much worse than what we were privy to. Bethenny has taken the high road, consistantly saying that she wishes Jill well but doesn’t want her in her life. I honestly don’t think that Jill “gives a shit” about Bethenny – if she really did, she would be tweeting her congratulations about the success of BGM?, wouldn’t have said that she heard the wedding was a “circus”, etc. – I think the only thing that Jill cared about was how her behaviour cost her the esteemed role of Queen of the Housewives.

If I were a “friend” of Jill’s, I would sleep with one eye open, because she doesn’t know the meaning of the word friendship.

      • quincyillinois says:

I think it was a lot worse than we witnessed also. Remember Bethenny said that “Let my slay that girl” was Jill”s intent. “Slay” means to kill violently. Bethenny is a word smith.

      • Squirrels says:

I would say Zarin has moved on, no longer compulsively seeking acceptance by Beth. At this point she can’t win for losing. In here attempt to salvage her self induced damaged reputation, she’s created more havoc and pain for herself and family.

Not to mention everywhere she goes, people must look at her and say under their breath, “Oh, THAT’S Jill Zarin. Let’s walk the other way.”

        • anitabee says:

I bet that fabulous group of people that Zarin claims to run with no longer include her in their reindeer games.

Hell no! is what they must think every time they see her now.

Seriously, has she been photographed with a real NYC socialite so far this summer?

          • Squirrels says:

She had a step and repeat shot with Ramona, but that’s it.

Seems she’s beach combing this summer. Before long she’ll be schmoozing with surfer dudes, sharing a diet coke.

  28. moriasheehan says:

all of a sudden my enter key no longer sends posts, any suggestions?

  29. WindyCityWondering says:

I’m wondering if Bethenny is saying she won’t be back for another season of RHONY to give Bravo the room they need to get rid of Kelly and/or Jill. By taking herself out of the dynamics no one can use her as an excuse for whatever decisions are made. Her show is a hit, her visibility is A list, her brands and products are money makers and she is a PR firm’s dream client. IMO, Bethenny is the golden girl and if she wanted to come back to RHONY Bravo would welcome her with open arms!

    • Squirrels says:

Kelly must be doing cartwheels knowing Beth won’t be back to Rhony. I truly hope they dump Kelly regardless.

One more point being, Beth gets to decide if she comes back. The rest of the cast is on hold. Their fates lie in the hands of Bravo execs. Without Beth, Kelly will hope to be home free. Jill will breathe a sigh of relief, Alex will know she can see Beth and the baby anytime, Ramona will…. will…. continue to be Ramona and Luann knows she needs the income and will vie for a return performance, as will Sonja.

      • kats2 says:

If I remember correctly, Bethenny said she had a choice to come back but won’t be back if Kelly and Jill are back. So it was more of a them vs. me – Bravo needs to choose who they wanted.

        • anitabee says:

I think this is really Bethenny’s choice. If we think about it, BMG is going to get a second season.

With a new husband, new baby, and her business taking off – even Bethenny will need a break.

I really think it is her choice NOT to return to RHONYC and probably wants to concentrate on her family.

BUT wouldn’t it be great if Bethenny came on RHONYC occasionally to hang out with Alex and Ramona or Sonja? That would be fun to watch. I will miss her talking head unfiltered comments.

  30. If You Had It Like This says:

This is an old article about Kelly and Gilles and their breakup. I found the part about her going out to L.A. to audition for several television roles was interesting considering she accused the others of “acting”.. hmmm…

    • tuzentswurth says:

Wow, I just read this, thanks for the link. Seeing this in retrospect makes me think that this gal is really pathetic and sad. She should have stuck with less exposure, this is a “the emperor has no clothes” storyline. A lot of her “clout” seems to be because she was Mrs. Bennsimon. Without that, she is floundering around trying to seem relevant when all of that has sadly passed her by without anyone telling her. She is not bright or intelligent, and she is past cute or glamorous. Even her quotes then shout…..CLUELESS. It seems she lacked personality and wasn’t very well liked. I could go on but, enough said by me.
One burning question though………what happened to the flock of Jack Russell terriers she had just 4 years ago? Or were they a fashion accessory?

      • tuzentswurth says:

ROFLMAO…..maybe she made an awesome vest out of them to show her support of PETA

      • moriasheehan says:

i hope the terriers have a good home. i saw an article about chihuahua’s over running the shelters in California because of “Fashion” and after they get the dogs, they have behavior problems (see Dog Whisperer) and the owners get rid of them. thank goodness, Katherine Heigl paid for the airfare to other cities, so they could have new homes. kudos to Katherine!

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Kelly came off as arm candy to Giles in that article – everything she did sounds like he arranged it for her too. How interesting is it that she tried to be an actress??? Guess this is why she is a REAL person now….. And I bet the dogs got taken away from her.

      • tuzentswurth says:

No, wait, she is a playing a character, no, wait, she is genuine, real and authentic, no, wait, she is acting, no, wait, she is raising the standard, no ,wait, crazy sells, no, wait……………..I’m confused

    • Kokuanani says:

Despite the fact that this article is a complete “puff piece,” and kiss-ass of Kelly, her true mediocrity shines through.

As we await Lynn’s full blog on the wedding, let’s play a little game and all imagine what Bethenny and Jason’s wedding would have been like IF Jill was there and involved in the planning.

I picture her shoving Teri, the Maid of Honor, in a broom closet and taking her place in those stupid green shoes she wore at the reunion show and some outlandish hair and makeup.

Of course, Ally would have to be the flower girl, even though she graduated from high school.

The banquet room’s decorations would be exact copies of her nauseating living room.

She’d talk back to the Officiant and ask if there were any single men there for Kelly.

    What else??

    • lillybee says:

She would loudly complain that the red velvet cake was tacky and awful.
She would think that Beth should have used her cupcake connection.
She would pick a fight with at least two people.
She would be complaining at the lack of swag bags.

      • Jules says:

You know, I have been wondering if her cupcake connection is that dude from Millionaire Matchmaker that Patti Skanker was trying to set up. Don’t you remember that guy that brought Patti a box of cupcakes when she was trying to set hime up. It would be just like Jill to push her way into benefiting in every way possible from her association with Patti.

If Zarin were there, the band would have to crank up the volume to be heard over her shrill squawk.

Zarin would refuse to allow Alex to sit in the front row. Ramona would roll her eyes and tell Zarin she’s being ridiculous. Zarin would reply with a very loud diatribe about how for all she’s done for her, Ramona is not her friend.

    • Squirrels says:

After seeing Beth’s wedding band, Zarin would demand a new one from Bawby. A much more expensive one.

    • boston02127 says:

Jill would have probably showed up in a wedding dress.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Jill would put down Jason’s parents, Bethenny’s dress, and would be in a dog fight with Shawn over everything! And we would have to hear endless tails of Jill’s wedding! Lastly, she would give a secret list to the guys letting guests in and made sure Alex and Ramona didn’t get in!

    First article is about KKB

    Some Quotes-
Very slow news day folks, so bringing you some more Kelly Bensimon news. Below is an article written about the Real Housewives of New York City star that sheds a little more light on this KKB character.

The story was printed in the June 17th issue of InTouch magazine:

Kelly Bensimon Is Just As “Batty” As She Seems On TV
When Real Housewives of New York City’s resident airhead Kelly Bensimon hired a nanny in 2009 to watch her children Sea, 12, and Teddy, 10, her neighbors weren’t shy about alerting the new employee to what she’d signed up for. “They said, ‘You’re the fourth person in the last six months to work for her,’” claims the former nanny, adding that she thinks that Kelly is “crazy” and says she’s seen her start her day by spiking her coffee with Patrón tequila.

Meanwhile, Kelly continues to spend her time on twitterville posting nonsense and for some strange reason, replying to every negative tweet she receives. She literally spends all day, 7 days a week, replying to negative comments from fans of the show.

    • Squirrels says:

      She’s real alright, real moronic.

    • anitabee says:

I am so sick of Kelly’s hallucinogenic jelly bean comments.

I know we all know that this woman is mentally ill and picking on a sick person is never ok BUT I am upset at her adamant refusal to get help.

At this point to me, Kelly is a dumb drunk twat and I no longer feel sorry for her Especially after that Mel Gibson tweet.

Is Kelly trying to be Mel’s next girlfriend? Since they both like to hit people it would almost seem like karma.

  39. jennifer says:

ANYONE who could even BEGIN to defend Gibson after hearing, or even hearing about, those tapes is insane……..

Kelly on the Mel Gibson’s racist audio tape rants –

Kelly – “Watching Today show and Mel Gibson. Who should we believe?”

Fan – “@kikilet U should believe da tapes u idiot! Mel is a racist. Da sooner he admits it the faster we can move on!”

Kelly – “its not my job to judge the personal lives of people. We have courtrooms for that.”

  40. jennifer says:

sorry, 1 more- why did she ask who to believe if she didn’t want to “judge” plps personal lives?

  41. tuzentswurth says:

Welcome back, Lynn. Glad you had a great vacation. We continued to muddle along and entertain ourselves while we waited patiently for your return.
I loved the wedding episode, lovely ceremony, great job by Shawn, and Bethenney’s vision seems to have been realized. Peeing in the bucket? Not a big deal, urine is sterile you know.
Jason’s parents….absolutely lovely people, she DID hit the family jackpot and she deserves it. Carol is so lovely and gracious, seems easy to be around, nice humor………she IS actually real, genuine and authentic and yet she never said it………never had to. Bob, really nice, they seem to have set a wonderful example of unconditional love for their son. I’m realistic enough to know there are bumps in every road, they have weathered them and look happy together still. May Jason and Bethenny have a lifetime of happiness enjoying each other and raising their family.

  42. jennifer says:

@BravoTVfan2 I love that you are so obsessed with my character on Bravo. Its flattering.

This is Kelly to a “fan”…….thought she was real? This women just angers me so because she is so dumb and contridictory (is this a word?)

    • Squirrels says:

She reminds me of the PushmePullyou from Dr. Dolittle.

      … and she’s still a friggin’ TOOL.

    • tuzentswurth says:

HAHAHA Being on a reality show being yourself because you are a so authentic is playing a character acting out a script???????
Did anyone ever see “Father Ted”, the hilarious Irish sitcom, first episode where Fr. Ted holds up a line drawing of a head with “dreams” written inside and “reality” written outside? He then points back and forth to each explaining the difference to Fr. Dougal McGuire. Hilarious stuff…..Look at the chart Kelly, look at the chart, do you not remember the difference?

Mmkay. I just saw the clip of NJ tonight, with Teresa chasing Danielle. That was pure trash. I hope Teresa is proud of her ridiculous behavior. Danielle is a LOON and I don’t watch the show anymore because she’s just too crazy and ridiculous AND because of Teresa’s vendetta with Bethenny.

Watching this clip, with Teresa in that ridiculous fur thing looked like a cavewoman. True Planet of the Apes walking among us. Watching Teresa chase her down through what looks to be a nice function is so trashy I just can’t believe it. Can you just imagine being at that function with that going on? Ugh. Disgusting!

    • tuzentswurth says:

Great post….and “Planet of the Apes walking among us”…priceless

    • kats2 says:

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Try as I might – I can not find one good or nice thing about any of those skankwives! I truly feel sorry for all those kids that they have to put their lives on display as well. And I was going to try to watch til the end of this season but I really can’t – I can’t even stand the promo commercials anymore. But I know you will all slice and dice them into bite size pieces for those of us who can’t stomach the show anymore.

  46. Squirrels says:

There is an old Larson cartoon that for me sums up Kellamity.

…. At Last. There it was. In the box marked “miscellaneous” Kelly finally found herself.

  47. kats2 says:

Since most of the HW’s use Twitter to keep us posted on what they are doing, I find it very interesting to see how they are spending time this summer. I think it’s very telling information.

I have my top 3 that I envy and of course the bottom 3 (losers) that are just pathetic and actually feel sorry for.

#1. Luann – I have to say out of all the HW’s for me Luann is having the summer I envy the most, she’s in love and in France (Need I say more?). Her kids are with Dad and she doesn’t really have to worry about them (while the Count was not the nicest husband from all accounts he is a caring Dad). Luann said she packed only one bag and went to Europe, she looks great, casual and very happy. While I still think her new BF looks like he could be her son, she seems to be really taking her time off and enjoying her life. She went to a friend’s wedding and is currently in France with her new BF. Not too shabby. I actually envy her for taking the time to enjoy her life and leaving all the HW nonsense behind. She only tweets occasionally to give an update on where she is and occasionally about work related stuff. While I was not happy with Luann at all during the season she earned some points with me on how she is handling things now. I think she has her priorities right and I hope when she returns to the Hamptons to finish her summer she doesn’t let Jill and Kelly drag her down, she needs to keep her distance.

#2. Bethenny – She’s moved on from the nonsense, her new show is successful, her star is rising but most importantly she is enjoying life with her new husband and daughter. Bethenny is still working hard, but there seems to be a calm or serenity to Bethenny now. Perhaps she has the right balance and is just proving you can have it all – doesn’t get much better than that. If I was into being married and being a mommy she would be in the #1 spot. Totally a YMMV situation.

#3 Sonja, Ramona and Alex are all tied for #3 spot – They are spending time with their family and friends, taking time out on the weekends to be with family in the Hamptons and doing quite a bit of socializing. For me Ramona and Sonja have a bit of an edge over Alex because Ramona has an amazing home (assuming Sonja does too) to enjoy in the Hamptons and every time Ramona tweets about having drinks around her pool I get jealous. I’m still trying to get the vision of Alex and Simon in that backyard blow up pool out of my mind. But these are ladies who have nothing to worry about. While they are active on Twitter keeping fans posted on the day to day activities, they are not panicked about the last HW season or the next HW season or any of the nonsense. They have no damage control to worry about. While I think they would be upset if not asked back to do the show next season, other opportunities would present themselves to all of them and they have created a base of fans that would support them even if they are not back on the show. They have real lives and real people that they spend time with, it’s not all about the show, being on camera and getting attention – they appear to be having a great summer and loving life.

No surprise the losers are NJ HW’s, Jill and Kelly

NJ HW’s – they of course are all working this summer, to be fair the show is airing now so they have to promote the show. But the real work is not in promoting the show it’s happening off camera – They are going crazy on Twitter trying to Spin all the horrible things they have done on the show and continue to trash Danielle. They have nothing else and there is nothing else happening with them that is interesting enough to put on TV. I said it before and I will say it again – Danielle is their meal ticket, the dynamic with Danielle is the only interesting thing about them (and btw it ran its course in S1, can you say boring?). They seem to be following Kelly’s PR rule of “any attention is good attention”. Bankruptcy, trashing other HW’s, starting trouble with Danielle all while they act like the uneducated Guido’s that they are. No Thank you! All they have is each other and they do actually hang out together all the time (misery loves company). They also still have friends with summer homes it looks like Jacqueline’s husband did something right. They all seem to spending time there, making sauce and partying like an older version of the Jersey Shore crew. How a family who owes so much money and is in debt for over $11 million can go away on the weekends and party Jersey style throughout the summer is beyond me! But that is exactly what T-Man is doing. (They are criminals, I really don’t get why they are not behind bars.) Spending the summer at the beach together, as they continue to rag on Danielle, take no responsibility for what they have done wrong and eating their homemade sauce while getting sauced is not how I would like to spend my summer. Nothing to envy about them at all.

Jill – Well we all know that Jill’s real work started after the season ended and she continues to try to figure out how she can recover or take advantage of what she did. As we have learned Jill really works over the summer plotting her revenge for the new season. Like her buddy Kelly, Jill is in major panic mode. Jill needs this show more than she will ever admit and it looks like this summer is not looking to be that much better than last summer was for Jill. From all accounts from Twitter Bawby is healthy, which is great, but Jill is so consumed with all things that will get her attention, I don’t believe she is truly enjoying her life. Jill told Andy on the reunion show her life is pretty good, she’s very lucky and should enjoy all that she has been given. The only problem is, Jill can say that all she wants but what I see is something very different. I think Jill is very lonely and very sad. She is still trying to get over what happened and is still frustrated that it all backfired. While I don’t doubt or question Jill’s love for Bawby and Alley and I’m sure she is surrounded by many beautiful things in the Hamptons – it’s not enough, Jill wants and needs more fame and attention, it’s validation she will pay to get and she’s spending her summer figuring out how to make it happen.

Kelly – Have you seen her Tweets? – WOW! It’s really a very, very sad situation. Kelly claims to have a wonderful life, full of friends and fabulous people and so many projects happening. But her tweets and how she spends her time tell a very different story. Kelly is having a total meltdown this summer. Kelly is on Twitter everyday 24/7. Besides her kids and her horses – are there any adults that Kelly spends time with? She’s single and there’s no talk of dates or social life going out with friends. There are plenty of pictures of Kelly but she is always by herself unless she is at a paid publicity type of an event and it’s a photo op with famous people (For example, when Kelly went to Vegas) She will call the people in these pictures her friends, do you notice how she calls every celebrity she talks about her friend? But you never hear them say the same about her? They will respond to her tweets of her sucking up to them, but that’s about it. There have been many pictures of her hanging out by a pool when she travels but she’s not with anyone. Why aren’t there ever pictures of Kelly with real friends (men or women) having lunch or hanging out in the Hamptons? Aren’t there paparazzi all over NYC and the Hamptons? You would think there would be legit pictures of Kelly with family and/or friends out and about. I think it’s safe to say that Kelly does not handle social situations very well and is a very lonely person. This is why she has embraced Twitter so much, it’s an outlet for her to talk (in her mind she has so much to say and so insightful, God she loves to herself talk) but twitter allows her to stay in control of the conversation (control is a key thing for Kelly and it’s why she does not do well in social situations). So far Kelly’s summer has been tweeting her fingers off, defending her appalling behavior on HW’s and still sticking to the claim that her life is great and she was bullied. She also has spent a lot of time talking about working out, diets, and cooking, making home videos to try and mimic Bethenny, and of course hoping someone will notice and be crazy enough to offer a deal of some kind. But that’s about it, Have I missed anything? Pretty sad, and absolutely nothing to envy or be interesting enough to want to watch on TV.

    • Adgirl says:

Do some people have multiple twitter accounts for “business” and another for personal? Not that I know anything about twitter or Kelly but I was just wondering if she separates them. Hopefully she has a real personal life that she keeps private from her “fans”.

I’m sure some people do or they use the same one and send Direct Messages privately to people. But I don’t think that is the case with Kelly, this is all she has, and where she is spending all her time.

    • tuzentswurth says:

I don’t think she holds any interest for the paparazzi. No one would pay for pics of her, she just has no relevancy except in her own desperate mind. The pics we see of her seem to be taken by someone she has standing in front of her as she runs toward them with that big cheesy smile plastered on her face meant to look like she is having a fun, fabulous time. This gal has been sinking into oblivion since she isn’t Gilles’ accessory. Her writing “degree from Columbia and writing career”? Come on, ever read her 2 lines, 6 words to a line posts at Bravo, regarding some really big issues? She needs to stop being a legend in her own mind and get a real job. Like the “countess” ( using term loosely), or Jill, pinning yourself on the coattails of someone else…not a good idea. Ramona and Bethenny got it right. Alex, too could stand on her own two feet.

      • WindyCityWondering says:

yeah – it seems like all the Hampton pictures are of her barging into someone else’s photo opportunity! She trys to look like a teenager with the ratty jeans, peasant blouses and greasy hair and shiny face. Oh and that smile? The Joker called and he wants it back!

    • Char212 says:

I saw that! What a shame! Glad your brother is ok Squirrels. People are nuts! Why can’t they just shoot themselves and leave everyone else alone?

    • tuzentswurth says:

How sad. I’m glad your brother wasn’t hurt. How terrible for all the families of those killed just going to their job, going about their day and and this nut job thinks his life will be better by causing such grief and tragedy. Is there never a clue with these people? How can you ever prevent this?

    • kats2 says:

This is crazy, happy your brother is ok. Very scary situation and it happens far too often.

    • lillybee says:

I heard about that shooting on NPR. Terrible thing.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Glad your brother is alright. Hope they provide some kind of counseling for everyone.

    • Squirrels says:

Thanks everyone. He’s rattled but ok. Hope they let him go home soon.

    • CuckooforCocoaPuffs says:

I’m so glad your brother was ok, Squirrels! I can’t imagine how scary that would be.

      • Squirrels says:

Yeah, he had time to call Mom, myself and my sisters before it hit the news. So that made it easier for Mom to handle.

        • anniieee says:

Sending prayers all the way to all the families there. Glad your brother is okay. What a terrible thing to happen..what a strange world we live in now. Just glad your family is okay.

Kelly says she will answer questions once and for all tomorrow from 10-11 a.m.

kikilet @TV_keepitreal I’d love to answer all the #rhnyc questions once and for all. I will open questions tomorrow from 10-11am.

    • Squirrels says:

I’ll collect my thoughts and try to make the questions easy to understand. Yes/no questions may be best for her. lol

      • CuckooforCocoaPuffs says:

Do you drink Patron in your morning coffee?
Do you have full custody of your children?
Do you ever wash your hair?
Did you actually graduate from Columbia?
Do you really think Jill Zarin is your friend?
Do you understand what the word “contradiction” means?
Do you really have a bracelet that says WWBD? (What would Bethenny do?)

        • Char212 says:

          Excellant questions lol

          • jezzibel says:

Apparently she thinks she and B are cool now….does Jill know about that. Kelly kiss up to B all she wants, but B does’nt want her within a country mile of her or her family. Oh and she’s not in any kind of competition with B

@JeannineAL @bethanny’s show is gr8. Her baby looks like an angel, and j is a nice guy. I wish her well, as she knows

I don’t twitter but can someone PLEASE ask her why she won’t get some menatal health help?

    • tuzentswurth says:

Oh boy, more dreck and drivel from this moron. Who can’t guess what she will be saying. I think we’ve heard all her imaginary answers already…..systematic bullying, bringing the drama for tv, nervous breakthrough, real and authentic, just a character, KELLY!!!!!!!!! JUST STFU!

  52. moriasheehan says:

any word on the lisa wexler show?

    • icantstandthetoxicity says:

The breaking news doesn’t sound like it will be anything about Jill, unless she makes a guest appearance during the show.

lisawexler Breaking News about property tax corruption; exposed in Bridgeport. We have the journalist who uncovered it all on the show today 4-6PM EST

        • moriasheehan says:

BTW, what car is that in your gravatar?

          • Squirrels says:

It is a cobra. I shot it for Factory Five Racing about three years back. My ex BF paints them exclusively.

            • moriasheehan says:

my hubby is building one! what state are you in, maybe your BF could do the painting. i thought it was a cobra. i used to own a 79 triumph spitfire and i have a 95 miata and a 2000 sebring, now. all convertibles, as that is my #1 outdoor passion, when not hiking in the woods. but then i get to drive one to get there. 54. boston02127 says:

@ Squirrels–I just saw the news story. On the news they said it was a man after his ex. The second news anchor said it was his spouse. I’m glad your brother is ok. Very scary.

    • Squirrels says:

Thank you all for the well wishes. Just spoke w/ bro. He’s done with his interview. All cars must stay in the parking lot, so he’s waiting for my nephew to pick him up. He’s worried one of the casualties is his boss. No one has seen him.

  55. kats2 says:

Ok, I can’t find the post or the link (Lord this place is busy today), but thank you to whoever posted that article about Kelly. It dates back a few years, back when she and Giles split. But it seems like she was some what dare I say normal and had some intelligence, there’s even a female friend quoted. So what happened to her?

  56. Earring Girl says:

Kelly’s kid is on Twitter now???
    http://twitter.com/babykikilet

    • Ellabean says:

      Oh my Goawd.

Kellys’ kid is now tweeting ?!!!

Now I think that Kelly has pulled out all stops on Operation Rehabilitate Kelly’s Public Image. I frankly think that’s low – and cheap – and obvious – and even dangerous. Geebus – the kid is only what 12? Wait til Papa Bensimon sees that. I only hope.

Prediction: Kelly will use her kid’s tweeting as a soapbox for bullying (saying her kid was bullied on Tweeter). Mark my words.

      • Char212 says:

Yup, I can see that happening. Once more she’ll blame Bethanny and her fans for it.

      • tuzentswurth says:

I think Papa Bennsimon may be a bit self-absorbed himself. Any evidence that he is an active parent?

    • Waslurking says:

That HAS to be a fake account don’t you think?
      Plz!

      • Char212 says:

It could be but it sure doesn’t look like it. Kelly is following her too.

      • cuckooforcocoapuffs says:

Hard to believe you would allow your child to be subjected to all the haters!!!!

        • Char212 says:

I know! I wouldn’t want my kids to see that people thinks their mom and a whacko or the things that are being said about her.

  61. cusi77 says:

@Boston__ How beautiful your singing! I could imagine you at the wrong bus stop singing “Tomorrow…” You crack me up! You are so funny!

  62. Waslurking says:

This totally OT but here I go anyway.
So I’m googling my buns off trying to find a blog like Lynn’s for
True Blood. Guess I’m inept at googling…..sigh
Finally just gave up and went with TWOP even tho I’ve heard it
can be a nightmare from ya’ll, thinking how bad can it be for non
reality show right? I noticed right away different posst had blacked
out bits. Odd, but assumed it was because they were referring to series verses the books….ok I can live that. Get to page 12 and….from the moderator:

I just deleted a lot of posts.

    1. Please don’t use the episode thread to discuss the treatment of female characters (or any characters, for that matter) over the series.

    2. Don’t lecture each other about murder or how others should feel about murder, or how others should feel about murder on a fictional TV show.

    3. In line with #1, episode threads are not the place to discuss whether or not Bill is the hero of the whole story. Hero/not-hero of the episode? Fine.

    4. Make your point and move on. Repeating yourself over and over is against the site rules and makes you look trollish.

    5. Vampire morality specific to this episode is a fine topic to discuss here, but general discussions of vamp morality throughout the show needs to go elsewhere.

    WoW… just WoW.

Any one know a of a good place to discuss True Blood?

    • HD says:

I asked the SAME thing….I guess perhaps we are gonna have to start our own blog on Tru Blood. It may just be me and you but at least we can discuss it.

    • lillybee says:

The blacked out lines are spoilers, just run your mouse over it and you can see it.
      Who is the mod?

  63. kats2 says:

Does anyone know who Andy is having on tonight (WWHL)?
