I Hate Jill Zarin Big Brother/Teresa Giudice July 18, 2010

I Hate Jill Zarin                   Big Brother – First Eviction / HOH              July 18, 2010

Well tonight marks another episode of Big Brother, but let me try to cover some of the activities and personalities up until this point.

Let me start with the amount of hair dye used in this house would certainly make me want to purchase stock in which ever brand these chicks use because I don’t think one of them is sporting their natural hair color.

Brenden, what were you thinking telling these two women about your real education level after only a few days in the house?  Haven’t you ever watched this show?  Don’t you know that alliances change with the wind?  I thought you were smart?  Now the whole house knows just shortly after arrival the one thing that you wanted to keep secret.  Maybe you’re not as smart as you think you are?  Brenden also likes to pretend that he likes Rachel for her brains, rather than her fake hair and boobs, sorry buddy, you’re not fooling anyone!

This seems to happen every season, it is so predictable.  Four of the dumbest guys get together and decide that they’re going to run the house!  With head thug, Enzo and his brilliant idea of gathering four guys to be part of his “mafia” alliance, he seems like he’d be a great fit to date Ashley of The Real Housewives of New Jersey!   Someone should really introduce them.  Matt, Lane and Hayden immediately fell into line behind Enzo the genius.  This should be hysterical as it plays out.

The brilliant alliance of the Brigade Team lasted all of one week and now the person that they tried to get out of the house is now running the house and these four guys are cowering in a corner.

Rachel’s fake red hair is really nasty!  Whoever her hair colorist is needs a spanking!  If this girl truly has the education that she claims then I weep for the education system in her world.  This girl’s speech that was supposed to help her stay in the house really did just that, not because it was so well said or had the intelligence of a smart point of view, but because she is a complete air-head who is no danger to anyone in the house.

Annie basically screwed herself, when she maintained her alliance with the two people on the block, she put the third target on her own back, then to freak out the way that she did when she was the replacement nominee and start losing her temper just sealed her own fate.

Kudos to CBS for choosing such a dingbat as the show’s Saboteur.  Annie clearly wasn’t up for the challenge.  The one thing that clearly has to be done to stick around the Big Brother house for longer than a week is to lay low and not create too much drama.  Annie had no idea how to do that and immediately aligned herself with the “couple” of the house.  For the saboteur to be voted out week one shows that they chose the wrong person!  I realize they would have to give out $50,000 so possibly that is why they chose to blow the entire “Saboteur” game the first week!  That whole thing was a complete bust!

Tonight the dingbat redhead, Jill….er Rachel chose Brittney and Monet for eviction.  These are actually pretty good choices but Rachel doesn’t even know why they are good choices.  She had considered a few of the Brigade and immediately those choices were shot down by Hayden.  That should have given her reason to be concerned about the four men who have created a secret alliance.  Why wouldn’t Hayden want to get rid of some of the men who play a strong game?

Where was Brenden during the questioning of each of the other players?  He seemed to distance himself a bit, possibly trying to ensure that the houseguests all know that the eviction choices were Rachel’s and hers alone?

With each passing moment watching the show I am more and more learning to detest Rachel.  I honestly cannot stand her fake hair, I cannot find one redeeming quality about her.  Typically during the reveal of the HOH bedroom, we find out something about each of the houseguests that make them more likable.  Even the most hated houseguest will have a photograph or something in their HOH bedroom that could bring some sympathy.  Not with Rachel!  Her feather boa and sash along with her squealing over tequila just made me dislike her even more!

I don’t know what Brenden sees in her, I don’t believe that she has the education that she claims to have, she is completely unattractive!

Who will win the Power of Veto on Wednesday?  I can see Monet winning it, I think when the need arises, she can bring the strength needed to win.  I can’t see Britney winning but anything is possible.  If one of them are taken off the block, I can see her replacing that person with Andrew.  What do you think?

I Hate Jill Zarin                   Teresa Giudice                  July 18, 2010

Teresa Giudice, mother, author, reality star ….trouble maker, dumbass, moron and popular?

She is, there is no doubt about it, I don’t completely understand it but I’m going to go out on a limb here and invite the wrath of Teresa’s fans.   Her fans are just not intelligent or educated.  I know, I just opened myself up for hate mail, like that would be the first time…

This woman herself is uneducated yet she has a New York Times Bestselling cookbook.  I think she stole the name “Skinny” from Bethenny but I don’t think that people who buy it are confused and think that they’re buying one of Bethenny’s cookbooks.  These are her fans; they are making her a bestselling author.  I don’t think that Teresa wrote the book herself, I don’t even think that she pretends to have written it herself.  I don’t think that her recipes come from her head or even her family’s secret recipe box hidden away in the attic for years.

I believe that her book was the result of a publishing house putting together some good Italian recipes and asked Teresa for a few tidbits about the Housewives and threw it all together with a photo-shopped picture of a Real Housewife on the cover.

Do you doubt that Teresa Giudice is popular?  Take a look at some tweets from just moments ago:

@Teresa_Giudice what products do you use in ur hair to keep it so fab in the hot weather? it was great to meet ya at the booksigning today!!

Making pizza and stromboli at my nanas house @Teresa_Giudice were making some of your pizzas!

I’ve deleted the names of the people who tweeted this drivel to Teresa, to protect the uneducated.  I’m sorry but 4+ hours waiting in line to have this woman sign a book that you then have to purchase?  I just cannot comprehend it.  I don’t ever try to change people’s minds about who they admire and who they choose to idolize, but I do worry about these folks!

It is a fact that the demographics are completely different in the audience for The Real Housewives of New Jersey and the audience for the Real Housewives of New York.  Clearly there are more uneducated and more people who are easily entertained by stupidity in the RHONJ viewing audience.  The Jersey girls have one million MORE viewers that New York did.  New Jersey is on Monday nights, could that affect the ratings?  Thursday nights are the big night for all the major networks and they schedule their strongest shows on Thursday’s.  More competition for New York and a tougher night to draw audiences had some affect.  The fact remains that New Jersey has 3.3 million viewers.

Bravo’s habit of playing their shows over and over and over again doesn’t help the situation.  If you can watch your favorite show on ABC on Thursday night at 10pm/9pm Central, you will not hesitate because you know for a fact that as soon as it is over, you can catch the first of dozens of re-runs of RHONY immediately after your ABC show has finished.  Those folks don’t count in the ratings.

Monday nights do not bring as much competition to the Real Housewives of New Jersey from other networks, that is a fact.  In my opinion, nothing happened on RHONJ until the fashion show that was shown over the past two weeks.  Yes, there was the drama at the Brownstone with Danielle, but really, nothing happened.

So why is Teresa so popular?  She is clearly acting this season on the show.  She is creating drama where none needs to exist, she is a complete idiot! (Entrepreneur means someone who owns business’s right?)  She has given birth to four daughters who she is raising to be drama queen’s just like their mother.   We’ve seen them misbehave, throwing temper tantrums, crying, showing off, making snide remarks and even what many considered bigotry coming out of an 8-year old child’s mouth.  I only hope that Teresa puts more emphasis on education for her children than her parents did with her.

Off the show, she has been caught lying about her financial situation, has filed personal bankruptcy with her husband, and could possibly be facing legal repercussions for withholding income under oath while filing the bankruptcy.  (Suddenly forgot about that book you wrote or the pizza parlor building that you walked through on camera?)

Teresa has taken to her Twitter account to slam Bethenny and her baby to the point where even her own friend, her own cast mate, Dina Manzo had to defend Bethenny!  Teresa’s digs at Bethenny included her criticism of Bethenny getting pregnant out of wedlock, losing the baby weight too fast, and Teresa even accused Bethenny of slamming Dina and her charity.  This claim was immediately disputed by Dina.  Once again, Teresa lying again, ensuring that I, for one, would never trust anything that she says.

Another new episode of the Real Housewives of New Jersey will air tomorrow night, and try as I might to avoid it, I will be watching and blogging about it.  Stay tuned.

Until Next Time………

There no accounting for taste, Lynn.

  2. boston02127 says:

Thanks for the new blog Lynn. 5 stars! Lol about Ashley and Enzo. What a pair they would make. I can’t stand Rachael either. I can’t stand that she doesn’t have a mind of her own and I cannot stomach how she laughs after every sentence out of her mouth. She’s the type that will do anything for the guys. I can’t believe she didn’t put muscle on the block.

  3. MickeyMouth says:

I can’t get the names straight in the BB house yet. I’m not interested in them yet.

I am still not watching RHONJ but I enjoy the recaps reaffirming my decision to no longer watch.

  4. boston02127 says:

I started a blog. It will only have links on it. The links on there now are for Big Brother. One link is rules on how to play Big Brother for anyone who is just begining to watch.

  5. Callin you out AGAIN, Lynn... says:

RESEARCH!! RESEARCH your facts first Lynn…

    From Teresa’s book:

“A friend of mine, Heather Maclean, who had been on a reality TV show herself a few years ago and who’s an author, helped me put a pitch together and we sold it to Hyperion. (A lot of people don’t know this, but I have a college degree and I worked in NYC as a buyer for Macy’s up until the day Gia was born. I’m a hustler!) We wrote the book together and it took over a year. I am so proud of how it turned out. It’s a love letter to my mom, to my kids, and to my fabulous fans.”

So she does indeed have a college education…

“So, to clear up a few rumors: no, the book wasn’t just written for me by a ghostwriter or a stranger. I’m a smart girl, and I can write, but for a published book, I’m obvioulsy going to get someone who’s done it before to help me.”

    On Bethennys “skinny” title…

And no, I didn’t name it “Skinny Italian” to copy Bethenny (please…). When my book was written, she only had 1 book, and it was called “Naturally Thin.” My publisher wanted to get across that my authentic Italian recipes were “skinny” — you get it? I make “skinny” Italian food. When Bethenny decided to name her second book the “Skinnygirl Dish” (weird — why wouldn’t she stick with her branding from the first book or have her first book have “skinny” in the title?), my book was already to press. But really, “Skinny Bitch” was out a year before both of our books… there are a million books with “skinny” in the title. So there you go. I’m sure both of those other books are great, but I promise, mine is different — a little more fiery?, a little more fun?, and a lot more delicious! — and you will love-love-love it!”

I hate it when people assume…

    • Quincy IL says:

Teresa doesn’t speak or act as if she was an educated person. When does she write these blogs and books when she is caring for 4 children and cleaning that huge house? She’s on twitter frequently, but her tweets are illiterate too.
I’m not assuming, I am listening to Teresa herself.

      • Char212 says:

I don’t know if she copied Bethenny or not but would you expect her to admit it if she did. Of course she’s going to say she didn’t copy Bethenny. I think she doth protest too much.

    • Capiche says:

I usually don’t respond to posts like these but….uneducated people graduate from college (even correspondence schools like Teresa) all the time! I think Lynn is basing her opinion on the fact that Teresa does stupid shit and sounds like an idiot. A common barometer of whether one is educated or not in our society.

      • icantstandthetoxicity says:

I don’t care what Teresa says, I don’t think she wrote that book. Heather Maclean wrote that book. Did Teresa graduate from Berkeley College? I live near one of their campuses and they accepts anyone who can pass their placement exam. It’s not hard to get into and graduate from that school.

    • boston02127 says:

Too bad she wasn’t smart enough to file the proper taxes on her book! When she’s living in a tent under a bridge she’ll have plenty of time for a higher education. She may even like school. Cheap meals & heat!

    • LynnNChicago says:

I read all of that and I chose to believe what makes sense. Teresa has been caught lying and therefore I do not choose to believe her….my decision and nothing to do with research. Just because Teresa prints it in her book or says it, doesn’t make it true!

    • Jules says:

First of all, Bethenny may have only had one book out than, but she certainly had named her drink the Skinnygirl Margarita. Furthermore, we all know Bethenny, and her theory regarding marketing a brand (we saw this when she suggested to Ramona that she be consistent in the way she spelled true, as in TruRenewal, and True Faith Jewelry. Naming her book The Skinnygirl Dish was an excellent lead in to branding and selling her margaritas. We also know that prior to Bethenny’s second book coming out, we had been told the name of her second book, just as we already know her next book is “A Place of Yes”.

Secondly, Teresa does not have a four year degree from a regular college. She went to a type of trade college for fashion merchandising. Different thing all together. This is however consistent with Teresa’s tendency to completely distort the truth, and play around with the facts.

Really you are brilliant “Calling you Out Again Lynn”, because your research consists entirely of reading the words of a known fabricator of the truth (Teresa), and calling it fact. Absurd really!!!!!

      • Jules says:

Oh, and by the way, most of her books sale were prior to this season of RHONJ, and the reports of their bankruptcy fiasco. It will be interesting to see what future sales look like.

    • Jules says:

These are the facts: Teresa attended Berkeley college, and was in a program for Fashion Marketing and Management. I have no proof that she graduate, and I am unwilling to accept her word for it considering her propensity to be untruthful. It is worth noting that you can get an associates degree in Fashion Marketing and Management at Berkeley Collage in as little as 18 months. Not much of a challenge I would say.

Teresa says that she is a hustler, and this is true. She says it, and we have seen evidence of this, so I think we can all agree this is true. I mean, if you look up the definitions of hustler, they are as follows

      1. someone who engages in prostitution,
      2. a person who employs fraudulent or unscrupulous methods to obtain money; swindler. (their bankruptcy has proven this, and Joe’s fraud charges).
      3. an expert gambler or game player who seeks out challengers, esp. unsuspecting amateur ones, in order to win money from them: He earned his living as a pool hustler. Again I think this fits Teresa, but I am not sure the word expert applies.
      4. a person who hustles.

Yeah, Teresa is a hustler alright, and at least she is willing to tell the truth about this. Thanks for your insight Callin you out, AGAIN, Lynn.

      • HD says:

Sadly, Teresa is an obvious liar so I don’t believe anything she says.

        • Jules says:

HD – I didn’t say I believed her either. I am simply saying that even if she did get a degree, you can get an associates degree from there in like 18 months, so it is not a regular 4 year degree.

          • Ellabean says:

Teresa, a self proclaimed college grad, uses the word ‘ clean-zi’ on National TV – because she couldn’t think of the word cleanliness and cannot use it in the proper context and tense. Briliant, just brilliant.

In live in NJ – Jules is absolutely spot on regarding Berkeley College and the AA degrees, tech degrees and such. Teresa is no Ivy league brainiac. Not even a solid respectable state college.

            • Tootsie says:

Theresa and Kelly are in the same category. Neither speak English, Theresa speaks “Theresa speak”. A jumble of Italian, New Jersey and Dumb. Kelly speaks “Nonsense”.

          • krone says:

Remember, Kellamity claims to have graduated from Columbia (country or college). Anyone can take some form of extension class from almost anywhere, that, a **graduate make. Teresa’a an idiot. An irresponsible mother and an all around dumbass.

    • Rabble Rouser says:

I think you use the words ‘college’ and ‘education’ rather loosely. I can have a stop over in Dallas but that doesn’t make me a Texan.

While Bethany doesn’t own a copyright on the word “Skinny” , Theresa certainly knew that using the word in her title and also being a RHW would link them together in the minds of fans.

Ghostwritter/ Co- Author are pretty much interchangeable, none of us really know how much Theresa actually contributed to the book. Most us are more interest in her and Joe’s contributions to paying down their massive debt before the rest of us feel the sting in the way of increased prices, premiums and interest.

I actually hope her book remains a best seller, maybe some of the poor folks who extended those two crooks credit can get their money back.

    • Squirrels says:

Oh 4foksake…… I know many a college football player who garnered a degree. Didn’t make anyone one of them intelligent. Just pampered with tailored programs. She may have a degree, but so too does Kelly, a rocket scientist in training.

    • Squirrels says:

“I’m a smart girl, and I can write, but for a published book, I’m obvioulsy going to get someone who’s done it before to help me.”

If she’s so smart, how is it she doesn’t know you don’t put a comma before “and” ?

      • Rabble Rouser says:

If she is such a smart girl, how come neither her (or her husband) can write a cheque that won’t bounce.

    • tuzentswurth says:

Teresa is a well documented liar and speaks as if she is as dumb as a toadstool.
Do you really believe that something she says is a true fact? Please email me, I’d like to sell you the Brooklyn Bridge. I own it.

  6. Capiche says:

Well no one can mistake me for a Teresa fan, but I did think about buying her cookbook. I love cookbooks (I have a ton) and one that promises an easy and healthy way to make Italian food is pretty much a done sale for me. However, I never liked Teresa from season 1 of RHONJ so I put it down at BN and said maybe I’ll get it later. Then, two weeks later I found out about her bankruptcy and was all Hell to the N-O. I can’t help financially support someone defrauding the good, taxpaying citizens of New Jersey. So I’m sure the fact that her cookbook is selling well has alot to do with the fact that it’s a great concept. And things with “skinny” in the title fly off the shelves, especially when it’s a cook or diet book.

But I do think that her sales dipped when the bankrupcty news broke. It’s not on the NY Times bestseller list anymore. And even that doesn’t mean you sold alot of books (although I think she did). It means of that genre, yours was one of the higher selling.

    • HD says:

Same here. I love to cook and love pasta but also am doing P90x so I thought oh great! But then the scandal hit with her finances and I thought, oh hell no! She ain’t getting my money to go buy some more crap she doesn’t need!

      • Snarkella says:

Once again, I have to own up to sometimes being a gullible fool. I bought her cookbook. Let me assure you, I do find Teresa’s behavior despicable. But I liked the cookbook. It was actually a fun and interesting read (for simpleton-cooks like myself at least).

    • Rabble Rouser says:

Re; Her book being on the NY Times Best Sellers list.

I really have to wonder about that list, at one time Kate Gosselins last book ‘I just want you to know’ which was panned by the critics and fans alike was on it, despite the sales being ‘horrendously horrendous’ . I think the over all sales were a few thousand but a hundred thousand copies were printed- and can probably be found in the same discount racks as Jill Zarin’s book.

  7. Capiche says:

And one other thing about Teresa’s popularity…when have you ever known an unpopular bully or mean girl? That’s what gives them the ability and the “authority” to terrorize people. The fact that they’re liked. Or feared.

  8. boston02127 says:

Does anyone remember when Danielle was at the country club and she kept saying “I won’t clap for that”? Well it’s been stuck in my head. I just went to get my cat in and I thought I’d have to go out and look for him. When I got to the door he was sitting on the porch and I said out loud (to nobody) “I will clap for that”.
Yep, time for bed…. good night everyone. 🙂

  9. DesertGal says:

Teresa is a hustler. That is the most articulate thing the woman has ever said. A hustler who allows others to absorb her monstrous debts. What a great gal. Did she learn THAT in college?

    • vilzvet says:

Yes you heard it from Teresa, she is a hustler! That is too funny! That is her best defense?! Oh who else cannot wait for August 22nd? Watch What Happens indeed!!

  10. Zoey says:

I couldn’t decide if I wanted to watch Big Brother this season or not, but I knew if I saw an episode I would probably get attached.
So I watched, but none of the personalities ‘got’ to me. I’m rather disappointed. No one is funny, goofy, really out there, an individualist, or endearing.

I forgot about it tonight, but I’ll watch this week and see if anyone grows on me.
I wish they’d put a few older people in there like they used to. It added another dimension., and usually intelligence.

About Jill Z – this has been bugging me. Does anyone else notice that she pronounces Mario’s name (wrong) differently than he and everyone else does? Wonder why Ramona has never said anything. Shouldn’t you pronounce it the way the person does themselves?

    • MAMAZ says:

I tried but it bores me. I don’t like anyone on the show. Just not my cup of tea.

    • vilzvet says:

I kinda just noticed that, Marry-O is how most would pronounce that (and I’m Italian!) but Ramona goes with the more sophisticated Mah-ree-0.

      • Zoey says:

Yeah, I can see that. I have a friend named Mario, and he and everyone pronounces it Mah-reeo. He is American/Latin, so I guess that’s how they pronounce it.

I think the bottom line is, it’s a slap in the face to pronounce it differently than the PERSON who’s name it is, ya know?
My name is unusual (yeah, it’s not Zoey. That was my first dog, my baby Zoey…I miss her.) and it’s pronounced very differently by people. If someone I saw often continually said it the ‘other’ way, I’d get the message that they were just being rude.

Botton line, in my opinion, Jill doesn’t like him so she does it on purpose!! And it makes my skin crawl to hear her say it. She is soooo nasal. Wonder how she sounds during sex, assuming they have it….

        • Squirrels says:

omg…. my own family pronounces my daughter’s name wrong, even my ex husband. It pisses her off to the nth degree. Zero respect for the kid and she’s 22 yrs old. Bastardos I say, bastardos !!!! lol

  11. Callin you out AGAIN, Lynn... says:

So…does that mean that if indeed Teresa has a college education that YOU are fabricating stories and therefore anything you say I shouldn’t believe? I always thought you were a credible person, but I’m beginning to wonder…

Just because you say it, does it make it true??

    • error404 says:

Hi Ilana. Love your blog. 😛

    • Ratzy Girl says:

College Education does not equal intelligence.

      • MAMAZ says:

Lynn didn’t say Theresa didn’t have a college education. She said her fans were uneducated. Point proven.

    • LynnNChicago says:

My blog is my OPINION, Teresa’s college education, (if there is one) certainly has not helped to educate her. If this woman went to college and graduated, some professors have some explaining to do! I don’t know whether she has a college degree or not and I don’t much care. “Cleansy” is not proper English, and her question, Entrepreneur means someone who owns business’s right?and the dozens more of her idiotic quotes, prove to me that the woman is uneducated, period!

Although I think if you read my blog, you will note that I never said she did not have a college degree, I said she was an idiot, there is a difference!

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Teresa has a degree that doesn’t mean she has an education! Her command of the english language is sub par. The fact that she has no manners and her morals are suspect too is bothersome as well. Facts are a good thing. Teresa is a liar, she even lied under oath – that is a fact. If you like her behavior fine. If other people don’t like her behavior – again that is fine too.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

I’m wondering, who has a screen name of “Callin you out AGAIN, Lynn” and then posts gibberish on Lynn’s blog? Who does that????

    • ShyAsrai says:

      Geez.. knock it off, you.

Lynn writes her opinion, we write ours, agreeing or disagreeing because of X, Y or Z and yet no one attacks the person over said opinion.

I urge you to try that. It’s really a rather pleasant way to exchange ideas. Sometimes, a good logical argument has even been known to change minds.

      • Ellabean says:

        How smart is Teresa?

Teresa loves edu-ma- cation so much that she went to high school for 7 years. (thats a joke)

Wow, you’re an argumentative one, aren’tcha? Tit for tat. Nana nana boo boo.

News flash- you do realize that blogs are opinion, right? Some facts thrown in, lots of opinion, a tad of snark. It’s for fun, comradery, and entertainment!
These women put themselves out there on national TV by CHOICE, and can’t just take the good. It comes with the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Chill the heck out. These divas don’t need your protection.

An associate degree from a Junior College or any two year college is not a true college degree. If she had one from the University of Pennsylvania, now that’s a degree.

  12. WindyCityWondering says:

Ratings are a strange thing and IMO the popularity of RHONY is because there is currently nothing decent on Monday night! Human nature – people like to watch other people being complete idiots. And reality tv is the popular genre of the moment as are shows that are NJ based. If this show were on during football season I wonder if it would have these numbers.

  13. Denise says:

Have to comment about Bethenny crying when she sees two little girls on the beach in St. Barts. One little girl is chasing a butterfly… and then kicks sand at it!. How adorable!

Sorry, but I hate obnoxious kids and this scene keeps sticking in my brain. The kid should have been SMACKED.

Okay, done. Now bring on the hate.

    • error404 says:

ut oh, just wait till PETA finds out Bethenny thought it was sweet! lol

    • WindyCityWondering says:

wow, I need new glasses! I didn’t see the butterfly…..I thought she was just doing the happy dance little kids do when they are in the moment.

    • Rabble Rouser says:

Smacking a 2 year old for chasing a butterfly kicking sand on a beach?

They are children and not suppose act like cloistered monks.

  14. error404 says:

didn’t watch BB but instead made a “home movie” … not the Danielle kind!… lol

eat your heart out Gia, Isabelle’s a real star!

    • MAMAZ says:

Isabelle is a real cutie! She’s a Cavalier King Charles, right? Beautiful little animals. I have a Frenchie. The love of my life.

      • error404 says:

Thanks! She is a cavalier king charles spaniel, which was a mouthful to learn, especially since I’d never heard of it before. lol

        • MAMAZ says:

I’ve thought about getting one. I am a BIG dog lover. I’ve had a lot of different breeds, large and small. I usually have 2 or 3 dogs in the house at a time. Right now I have an elderly boxer, a real sweetheart and my French Bulldog. I do see a Cav in my future. And a Chow, and a Wolfhound, and a … well, you get the idea. I just hope I live long enough to share my life with all the dogs I want!

          • error404 says:

They are the best dogs! Although I only have Isabelle to go by, so…
We had 2 labs before, and my parents had a lab also at the same time, and the 3 combined turned me off labs for good. I know they are popular, but…
We had beagles growing up, and then my parents switched to golden retrievers just before the lab. 2 totally opposite breeds!
I thought about getting my parents a cavalier, but they tend toward obesity if spoiled, and as my parents age, their dogs get fatter and less exercised, so probably not.

            • MAMAZ says:

Glad to hear they are good dogs. I never knew anyone who had one. I’ve known some nice labs but I’m not too crazy about most gun dogs. Except German Short Hairs. All dogs are good though. Better than most people. Yes, I’m one of those types, lol.

    • Snarkella says:

Isabelle IS a star! Thanks for sharing and making me a smile.

  15. ShyAsrai says:

the coolest thing about Bethenny is that she said OFFS, brushed off the crazy dust and went about her own life.

it makes the ‘chiennes diaboliques’ even crazier to know that not only has Bethenny dismissed them from her life, they don’t even register on her radar anymore. what’s WORSE lol, is that it is Bethenny’s life that is filled with rainbows, unicorns and silly elephants!
as they say “the best revenge is success”.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

So true! It makes me smile to think Bethenny’s life is wonderful and all deserved.

  16. cusi77 says:

What amazes me recently is the amount of jelousy a popular and liked person can bring to her way…

You have created a pleasent place to gather and discuse about our favorite programs airing out there. We laugh, we agree, we agree to disagree, always in constructive and kind way.
All of the sudden, people come here trying to twist anything with the purpose to destroy our fun. I choose to ignore them. The educated and civil people who gather regurlarly will do the same.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Amen Cuzi, amen! lol We just have to ignore the ignorant and continue to be who we are.

      • MAMAZ says:

Ignoring them is the very best way to go. Did anyone read the article about The Westboro Church protesting the Lady Gaga show in St. Louis? she asked her fans to not engage them in any way but to pray for them. Very good advice.

        • Olivia says:

That group led by that hateful Fred Phelps is way beyond prayers. They are the vilest form of human beings ever. Crazies like these live under the benefit of the US Constitution which gives them the right to free speech.

In other countries they would be jailed or killed outright for their outrageous conduct.

          • MAMAZ says:

Olivia – I lived in a small coal mining town for a few years. The KKK applied for a permit to hold a rally. There was no lawful reason to deny the permit. So the town asked everyone to stay home the day of the rally. It was summer so there was no school. Every business closed an hour before the rally was scheduled to begin. Every gas station, bank , grocery store, insurance agency and pharmacy. The library as well. Wasn’t much more there. Anyway it was a ghost town. The only people who stayed were the local cops. They said the Klan came, milled around for about an hour then left in a huff. We all had a good laugh. I was really proud of my temporary adopted town and the people in it. That’ s how you deal with scum like Fred Phelps and his family. And internet trolls as well.

  17. Olivia says:

Theresa is an uneducated, foul mouthed bully and IF she has a college degree does not change that in the least. Personally I doubt it unless she was taking courses there to get her GED. She can barely pronounce ordinary words let alone write a book loaded with recipes that have Italian names and spellings.

What is amazing is that no matter how cheaply she carries herself, how horribly she speaks, how obscene her commentary, there are those out there who find this somehow to be praiseworthy. The fact that she is in the midst of filing bankruptcy while spending way beyond her means which indicates that others must step to the plate – that’s us, the taxpayers by the way – and assume her debts is appalling. For morons to write that they “love” her is way beyond understanding. She should be villified for her behavior, not applauded. But there are enough doofuses out there who apparently see nothing wrong for behaving like a criminal as they fawn all over her with words of affection.

It is absolutely sickening that Bravo has managed to showcase these people who have nothing to offer by way of talent yet are considered “stars”. Obviously we as a society are so accustomed to being lied to that we are now willing to confer status upon those who tell the best ones by way of “entertainment”.

    • MAMAZ says:

I never understood when Dina, Caroline and Jacq would talk about her hilarious Theresa was. I get it if you mean it in a “laughing at her not with her” way but since they are supposed to be her friends I don’t think that’s what they are saying.
Even worse than the way she speaks is that deer in the headlights look she gets when someone asks her a question or makes a statement she doesn’t understand.

    • cusi77 says:

Olivia__ I have a little theory while reading the comments of her fans:
They DO NOT read. They are as uneducated as she is… to find funny all the obsenities she talks! Tacky, tacky…

      • cusi77 says:

Pardon… obscenities. Could someone correct the word “discuse” … I am too lazy now to go the dictionary…

      • Quincy IL says:

I thought the same thing. The fans watch TV and never research. They lock into the white hats/nice high school girls/Teresa and Jacqueline againts the black hat/bad high school girl/Danielle and never get beyond that.

The poster writing to Lynn has control of this board BTW. She’s controlling the conversations. I think we should research and start new topics. If she posts and she will, shun her.

    • Wow Teresa has fans? I didn’t know.

I bet it’s killing Jill that even a loser like Teresa has more fans and better book sales than her. Lol.

      • Zoey says:

I’ve never tried them, but I have recently discovered the Weight Watchers desserts! Omg, even if I wasn’t on the program I would eat these. The chocolate one, and the chocolate with ice cream stuff on top. The key lime is good too.

Not an easy job, lot of responsibility. Takes a good education to move up the ranks.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

She was probably a sales clerk! Assistant buyer is a hard job and no way was she a buyer (unless she means buying stuff from Macy’s!).

      • ShelleyT says:

        • Quincy IL says:

The net researchers provided evidence of the Danielle lies, but it did not stop Danielle from writing a book full of lies. I hope her publisher is ready for the lawsuits.

  22. Delia says:

Ok 1st part of blog. I cant stand Rachel either. She got on my last nerve tonight and I think she may be just a bit more irritating than Enzo and I would do the Happy Dance if she was sent packing next week. I may even video it and post it for you. LOL

Now onto Teresa…I was just this moment rewatching the repeats of past episodes…and this last one, where Teresa CLEARLY instigated a fight with Danielle (whom I am no fan of either, but the truth is the truth), she acted like a grade schooler. Wagging her head back and forth, saying ‘Im from Patterson girlfriend, dontchoo fo’git it’. I was thinking HOW OLD IS THIS WOMAN??? She acts as bratty and spoiled as her girls….UGH, she makes me wanna vomit and then eat my own puke to get rid of the nasty aftertaste she left in my mouth. And YES, makes me clearly wonder about her ‘fans’…….

    • WindyCityWondering says:

      Teresa is a troglodyte.

        Good one.

        • Zoey says:

You guys crack me up! Luv it.

I was just enjoying watching Jeff and Jenni on Flipping Out when RHONJ came on…ew. Not in the mood. Time for HGTV.

Anyone remember this scene on RHNJ where Theresa shows her intelligence, cough, cough (may not have details exactly right) – she, and I think it was Dina, were sitting in Theresa’s kitchen and Dina called Danielle a sociopath. I knew what Theresa’s reaction would be. She said ‘A wha?’ and her mouth sort of hung open.
So Dina repeated it and explained it. It’s one thing not to know a definition and to ask, but her response is just so…..what’s the word?

    • tuzentswurth says:

“UGH, she makes me wanna vomit and then eat my own puke to get rid of the nasty aftertaste she left in my mouth. ”
ROFLMAO Good one, great post! I couldn’t quite put my finger on that feeling, but by jove, you’ve nailed it!

should I ever run into Andy Cohen in The Meatrack, I want to be able to say in all honesty that I’ve never watched his awful show. It’s sorta like a celibacy vow, and I don’t want to end up like Bristol Palin.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

OMG – I’m not alone – Teresa’s outfit is so strange – her butt looks like it needs it’s own zip code! Maybe she has a ton of cash stashed in her pants?

      • Quincy IL says:

Remember Dina’s comment just before Teresa had the baby about how little Teresa was. I think Dina needs glasses.

  23. DesertGal says:

Callin you out AGAIN, Lynn… says:

So…does that mean that if indeed Teresa has a college education that YOU are fabricating stories and therefore anything you say I shouldn’t believe? I always thought you were a credible person, but I’m beginning to wonder…

Credible. Huh. You’re asking Lynn to prove a negative-that Teresa didn’t graduate from college-and yet you are attacking her credibility? Didya not see the hole in that logic?

Lynn did not say that Teresa is not a college graduate. She said that Teresa is uneducated. Viewers have yet to see any evidence that Teresa actually learned anything, if indeed she did go to college.

Teresa is an illiterate, trashy grifter who is also a proven liar. She voluntarily submitted court documents that substantiate her dishonesty. Since you insist that she is educated, I guess she learned that one in college.

She hid assets from the courts, but not from the Bravo cameras. How educated does one have to be to do something that stupid? I’d like to know. Can you pull it off with an associate’s degree, or do you need a graduate degree in applied science?

And then there’s her tactic of attempting to force creditors and vendors to absorb her massive debts by declaring bankruptcy. Maybe she picked up that maneuver while writing her doctoral dissertation on “cleansiness”.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Comments are based on scenes from their show, their blogs and articles on their behavior on and off the show – how is that fabrication?

    • Noreen says:

Too true! Don’t you think if Theresa had a valid degree of any kind from any second rate on line unversity (or better), that she would hand out copies or have it referenced in her book under her bio. Please – own up to it Theresa. You took a few courses at your community college and refer to that as your college education. I know so many people who say they went to college but took a course.

  24. Callin you out AGAIN Lynn... says:

    Lynn stated…
“This woman herself is uneducated yet she has a New York Times Bestselling cookbook. ” Where is this sentence did you call Teresa an idiot? Are we twisting our words?

“I never said she did not have a college degree, I said she was an idiot, there is a difference.” My, My…to be so fair and impartial. Are you and Tweetmaxine related?

    • LynnNChicago says:

Are you serious? I didn’t call her an idiot in that particular sentence, I did it in a different sentence. A judge sitting on a bench is fair and impartial. I write a blog of my opinions. If you disagree with me, tell me why, don’t pick apart every word in every sentence then twist it’s meaning.

You disagree, you think Teresa is a genius? Show me! Tell me why? Clearly you disagree with my blog, why don’t you detail it for us?

Tweetmaxine is a vicious, cruel and vile human being so I take serious offense to that! If you want to debate opinions, go for it, if you want to be an idiot, go elsewhere.

    • LynnNChicago says:

Hmm Callin you out AGAIN Lynn: Maybe you forgot about YOUR post from just a few days back:

“Just seen the previews of HWNJ for next week. Teresa was calling Danielle a “coke whore bitch.” My first thought was how embarrassed I was for Teresa. She apparently has no idea what the word “classy” means. What adult women, wife & mother acts like this? Isn’t she like 37 or 38?

Ok, Teresa is supposedly to be a affluent woman whose circle involves the elite of NJ. Why does she act like a hoodrat, that was raised in the ghetto? She lives in a multi million dollar home, (which we know she didn’t buy it with her money!) and goes out and STARTS a brawl at a fashion show? And YES, she instigated this fight with Danielle. Say what you want about Danielle, but Teresa started this one. After all she is such a “nice” person…yeah right. Teresa said “Is bitch better?”. I say, takes one to know one!!!

Shes right up there with Jill Zarin…nice my ass…”

Amazing how one’s opinions change in just a few short days, shall I post more of your rantings?

    • LynnNChicago says:

      You said:

I love your blog, but you seem to contradict yourself.

You stated “I can think of hundreds of things to do rather than watching the Kardashians! I’m sure everyone reading this blog has a show or a celebrity that they don’t like and don’t waste their time watching, right?” The same could be said about you.
Why do you blog about a celebrity (Jill) you don’t like?

Also, you said, ” I feel a little sorry for these people to be honest, because they’re wasting their time watching and writing about a TV show that they don’t particularly enjoy.” You write about Jill, cant stand to watch her on TV, yet take the time out of your day to create a daily blog about her. Kinda tongue in cheek, huh?

You say you love my blog and read it daily, then you know that I do not write a daily blog about Jill Zarin, in fact, the majority of my blogs most recently have NOT been about Jill Zarin. Maybe if you did read it daily, you would know that. I watched The Real Housewives of New York, not the Jill Zarin show, she was not the only person featured on the show. I happen to like Bethenny, Alex, Simon, Sonja and Ramona who also appear on the show. I think you just like to be argumentative and would rather discuss ME than the shows that are featured in the blog. This may not be the place for you.

    • The person connected with this profile pic has chatted in past blogs here, but the profile name was different. Wonder why the name change? Or did somebody steal an identity?

      • Lynn, after a quick review of the comments, it looks like everybody has already aptly defended you, including yourself, so I’m not wasting any time on this person’s silliness.

I’ve been a bit under the weather and also we have a new addition to the family–about a 3-month old kitten. 🙂 We think the mama was the one killed by a neighbor’s car last week and kitten made an appearance Friday. Such a happy twist to a tragedy by saving the little kit.

        We named her Lily.

Anyway, I’m not wasting my time on drivel when I can spend it reading other comments trying to catch up.

  25. error404 says:

Many people have college degrees which has done nothing to move their IQ up a single point (right…. Kelly?). Conversely there are many people who chose not to attend college or could not for various reason who are extremely sharp. Theresa has proven herself through her bankruptcy activities to be of low character – and I suspect she ain’t too smart neither.

I can’t watch NJ because I have a finite number of brain cells which I chose not to deploy on RHNJ.

The breadth of your education also comes across. So, keep on doing what you’re doing – love to read your comments!

          • LynnNChicago says:

Well Said and agreed on every count! That includes you as well Skogsstig, English is a difficult language and I applaud anyone who can master it as a second language!

            • Noreen says:

Here, here! And the world is full of intelligent people without a formal education. No shame in that! But don’t lie about it. Stand tall and say I am a success or a failure based on my own actions and abilities. Formal education does not increase your IQ, it just formally educates you in a particular discipline: literature, art, medicine or law just to name a few. And I tool am in awe of anyone who learns a second language. I have been attempting to master French for years and it just ain’t happening!

  27. Noelle says:

I love you’re blog but I refuse to pile on children, as they’re only children. Yes, Teresa and Joe are idiots, but I won’t “blanket” statement their children as such because their parents are.

Yes they misbehaved on camera and they’re all under 8 yrs. of age….

Just as Simon/Alex’s children were unruly too. Alex even says now that Bravo filmed a lot of her children, but it was probably cut(RHNY) because the kids behaved.

    • error404 says:

I read that section as a criticism of T’s parenting, not an attack on little kids.

    • LynnNChicago says:

Noelle, that was the point, and maybe I didn’t state it properly. Children are a reflection of the way that they are raised. When they are spoiled and have no consequences for their behavior, we see the end result. The difference with Alex & Simon’s children is that they were seen very little on RHONY, the New Jersey crew have the children front and center. We see quite a bit of the Giudice girls on screen.

I’ve also seen Alex & Simon’s boys behavior at a book signing, they were polite and amazingly well behaved. Admitedly, it was for a short period of time but the “unruly” behavior we did see from Alex’s boys was also 3 years ago, it was late at night and Alex explained how tired they were. We haven’t seen it since, as you said, because they were well behaved, Bravo chose not to air them.

I agree with you, the children behave the way that they’re allowed to behave.

      • Noelle says:

My apologies as I’ve seemed to have misread what you wrote originally. Thanks for clarification. 😉

      • Rabble Rouser says:

I have to disagree with you as far as the NYC children having limited exposure are concerned. The shrilling voice of Jill screeching “Alllllllllie” is etched in my brain.

While we did see less of Alex and Simons children last season compared to seasons before, I think that is a good thing. Children need to be sheltered and protected from they types of criticisms that reality television bring. Heck, even a two year old who was filmed at the beach on BGM, is getting slammed by viewers. Those children are mostly remembered for having a meltdown in a restaurant (which is something I am sure most children have done-including my own) and running wild in a store. Those poor kids were also unfairly criticized for engaging in horseplay with what we now know was a producer for the show.

IMO, I felt that the restaurant scene about Alex and Simon’s parenting choices than the children themselves. I couldn’t believe they were shown tolerating their child stabbing at someones food with their toy. If was my child I would have been mortified.

  28. ilovelynn says:

has bethenny commented anywhere about her mother’s comments in the Star?

    who’s fred phelps?

    • LynnNChicago says:

I haven’t seen anywhere that Bethenny has responded to those comments. I am not sure I even believe that those are truly her mother’s comments. If she was truly to come forward, I think that many more would have quoted her in their articles, including People. I would hope that if/when Bethenny’s mother chooses to speak out, it would be with a legit news source and not Star or Enquirer.

Bethenny did tweet about her appearance on “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader” lol Can’t wait to watch her on that show!

      • I’ve never heard of that show and will have to check it out. Would like to see Bethenny on there. It would be fun.

        • cusi77 says:

Oh! It is a great program I enjoy to watch! It is amazing the knowledge a 5th grader have in this country!

          • MAMAZ says:

ilovelynn – Fred Phelps is the leader of the Westboro Baptist Church in Kansas. They are pathologically homophobic. They picketed the funeral of Matthew Shepard. They also picket the funerals of soldiers killed in Afghanistan and Iraq because they say that the terrorist atacks against our country are the judgement of God because of our tolerance /acceptance of homosexuality! They are a vile, loathsome cult of worshippers made up of mostly members of Phelps family and not to be confused with any REAL Baptist church.

            • Zoey says:

still want to know how bethenny feels about her mom’s remarks.

    • i really think she takes anything her mother might say in stride. I mean, having had nothing, or very little, to do with her mom since she was around 14, I’d say that she’s pretty used to her mom’s ways by now. Nothing would probably surprise Bethenny regarding her mom and she’d probably just shake it off and go on.

Good morning, time to catch the T to go clean houses then off to classes, reminding myself that my life is much nicer than theirs. Have a good day everyone. 🙂

I watched “Selling New York” reruns that I had recorded. I can’t figure out how Kelly is living that lifestyle in New York, the Hamptons, Miami, and Key West. She would have to have an income of at least 1.5 million dollars because of taxes and housing costs. If she got a settlement from Giles, it has to be dwindling. I suppose that part of the twitter/internet video campaign is an attempt to keep her profile up and find opportunities to promote products. That’s the reason that we are forced to share the Kellyland that she has created.

The plan to marry someone like Giles is probably impossible now. Too many people, know Kelly. If a rich old guy was interested in the 42 year old ex model, he’d be warned off by his friends.

      • moriasheehan says:

maybe they are all paid for by the ex as alimony and child support. they live in same building in NYC.

  32. Olivia says:

Question: If Caroline is the “fountain” of sound advice and the “go to” person for commonsense in their world, why do they all ignore whatever she says?

Dina, Jacqueline, Theresa, and even that dimwit Trashley, have not heeded one word from Sage Caroline but continue to pursue their Danielle fixation even after months of filming has concluded.

Doesn’t seem to make a dent with these morons when Caroline tells them to drop the whole thing and move on. With all the talk about holding Caroline in such high esteem you would think by now one of them would be listening. Not so.

    • error404 says:

I disagree. I think they hang on every word and follow her advice to the letter. Her advice she gives off camera that is. She wouldn’t actually say those things on camera and give away their orchestrated ‘get Danielle’ plot. No, better to publicly say she wishes D well, that way D’s rambling paranoia about their plots to get her make her seem more crazy than victim.

      • Olivia says:

It must be part of the plot outline:

Caroline, the wise older friend and sister.
        Jacqueline, the loving mother.
        Dina, the spiritual being.
        Theresa, the adorable ditz.
        Danielle, the evil tramp.
        Trashley, the typical teen.
        Albie, the hunk.
        Joe, the juicy.
        Gia, the budding star.
        Christine, the next Christie Brinkley.
        Chris, the goofy raconteur.
Kim G, the devil in the ointment.
        Kim D, the businesswoman.
        Danny, the ridiculous.
        Albert, the godfather.

I guess it is called role playing.

      • WindyCityWondering says:

yeah, I think Caroline rips Danielle off camera and the morons only remember those parts because their tiny brains are wired for mayham.

        • jezzibel says:

what I have to wonder about is how done are Carolines and Jaq’s husbands with this mess. I don’t think Caroline will come back if there is a next season if her hubby says “no way”, because I can imagine that Danielle’s antics might have cost the Brownstone some business and he strikes me a someone who does not suffer someone or something messing with his livelyhood.
I also imagine that Jaq’s husband Chris is getting sick and tired of hearing about Dirty D from his wife and sisters, and if he watched last weeks episode I bet he is pissed at how his wife and stepdaughter acted.

          • WindyCityWondering says:

Caroline and Albert will likely not come back because you are so right – don’t mess with their “business”…. Chris is probably getting really sick of Ashley’s antics and Jacq is not backing his play on the rules, etc – he has two little guys to worry about and Ashley shouldn’t be around them setting bad examples and disrespecting their mother. Teresa/Joe are a hugh liability now that their illegal activities are national news – Manzo’s don’t want to be associated with those kind on people (wink, wink). So IMO, Chris and Albert will decide and their wives will fall in line with the program.

Wonder if Andy will ask them at the reunion if they want to return for another season…….

            • Zoey says:

On the other hand, maybe it increased their business! They sure got a ton of free publicity.

Yeah, now that you mention it, Caroline sure did change her on camera tune. First it’s a stern ‘If you mess with my family, you mess with me’.
Now she doesn’t want anything to do with it, and if family members associate with Danielle they’re on their own. Yeah, right.

    About Big Brother…
I like Rachel. She seems like a happy person and even though her laugh is annoying as hell she laughs a lot and I like that about a person. She seems to have a good attitude unlike Britney who spends her day whining and moaning and complaining about everything…can’t stand her!

Monet is ok so far but I hope she distances herself from Britney.

I like Kristen too but I sure don’t see her hooking up with that doofus Hayden. He’s a follower and the “Brigade” will get rid of him first when it gets down to them, which I hope is soon!

Enzo grates on my last nerve and I want him GONE! The sooner the better.

Brendon is my favorite so far this year. He seems like a nice guy who is a gentleman and he kind of reminds me of Jeff from last year. So far I hope he wins. We all know though from watching past years the nice guy hardly ever wins. Remember Kayser? I was pulling for him or Janelle the year they were on.

Our satellite went out during the first episode but my sister was telling me that she thought she heard Andrew say that he has the second highest IQ in the world! Did any of you hear that?

  34. WindyCityWondering says:

Was thinking about blogs and those who create them and then those who respond to them. If a blog is created from a place of hate – well IMO, it would get boring real fast unless those who post there are coming from the same place. Kind of the one trick pony thing – all hate and no facts! So when those blogs stop fullfilling that need to hate – they take their hate on the road – to other blogs.
While they create chaos (post a few nice things and then go viral) do they really gain followers or change anyone’s opinions? They usually don’t reference their “home” blogs. They usually get a response that isn’t what they are looking for or know how to respond to intelligently. While there are always links and there are a few folks who intentionally direct these morons here – why go to those blogs who don’t feed the need to hate?? Do they realize that once they are gone they are quickly forgotten?

I come to this blog because I hate Jill Zarin’s actions, word, plots and methods of operation. I will go further to say I steer clear of anyone in my real life who is like her. I never liked Teresa tv persona – she is a sterling example of the stereotype of everything I don’t like in a person – like Jill only incapable of executing any plan that requires intelligence, guile or manipulation! While I would like to defend her because she is stupid and greedy and wrapped up in her material world, I can’t defend her because she crossed the line into the place where hurting other people to obtain what she wants is alright by her. So while I used to laugh at her antics – her true colors don’t allow that anymore. We tend to rip on the characters we wouldn’t allow in our real lives but I don’t think we are the type of haters who are blinded by hate and attack anyone who disagrees or doesn’t feed the need to hate.
While Teresa comes in second to Jill in all things I detest – I don’t think this blog comes from a place of HATE! But is does seem to be a place where haters like to fish – so thank you Lynn and all who regularly post here for keeping hating trollish posters at bay!

    • Buffywood says:

Ditto!!! The only difference for me is that Teresa has taken the #1 spot in my mind as she vile actions have affected many more people in the “Real” world than Jill’s. It is funny how Teresa has compared herself to Donald Trump like it is a good thing. Well, if you look at the way Donald Trump screwed over so many people and small business in Atlantic City when he declared bankruptcy; I guess you could say they are similar. Both have financially ruined so many people they screwed with their own irresponsibility and greed.

  35. Buffywood says:

Good Morning! My dad give me cards frequently that are mean to inspire me. When thinking about Teresa I can’t help but think of one of the ones he sent me in college. It was a quote about persistance from Calvin Coolidge. “Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. ” Even if she did go to any type of college, she definately falls into the category of “educated derelicts”.

  36. Quincy IL says:

Since Alex wore black to Bethenny’s wedding, I have been wondering if that is ok to wear black for a wedding in Sept in NAPA. It’s a destination wedding of a Houston family and people are coming from all over the country.

    • error404 says:

I got married in Sept and like 65% -70% of the female guests wore black. I assume it’s very on trend now. My niece got married the July before, and same thing.

    • viki55 says:

I think it is okay in the evening. Not sure I would do it for an afternoon one.

      • viki55 says:

        This was good:
        Do’s and Don’ts for Her

Don’t wear white because it competes with the bride. There are plenty of other colors available.
Don’t wear black or sequins during the daytime.
Don’t worry about wearing the same colors as the bridesmaids or mothers. You can’t possibly coordinate with everyone in the wedding party.
Do wear something feminine and appropriate, out of respect for your hosts. Clubwear, overtly sexy clothing (strapless, see-through, etc) doesn’t belong at a wedding. If you have to ask if it’s appropriate, it probably isn’t.
Don’t wear opera-length gloves (to top of arm) with anything but sleeveless or strapless gowns.
Do take off gloves to eat or drink.
Do use good judgment if the invitation doesn’t specify the formality of the event. A pastel suit or soft floral dress for daytime or a little black dress for evening (after 6 p.m.) will take you almost anywhere.

        • twoile says:

Happy Wife, Happy Life Recipe by Teresa Guidice

Have husband own a shell company so cash can be used liberally for clothes and stuff for your dream home.
Forge other people’s signature on loans for mortgages you don’t ever pay back so you can build a tacky mansion to your taste.
Add alot of fraud of subcontractors so you can put glitzy stuff in the mansion.
Install appliances, fixtures and flooring (marble, onyx and granite taste the best) that fell off da truck.
Don’t pay your taxes so you can put fancy cars, boats and toys in the garage.
Don’t pay your mortgages so you can add a fancy fountain for fabulous family picture taking.
When finished with the above ingredients, apply bankruptsy chap 7 for laughs.
Stir in lies to season to taste.
Leave out all secret investments and income for another recipe.

I feel sorry for the bank who actually owns this dump. They can forclose it, but they will never sell it.

T-man successfully designed a tacky catering hall and called it home.

They built a huge space abutted to a highway. It is the largest home in a middle class neighborhood. This home is not in Franklin Lakes.

I read the link you posted and these two comments came across…

What does it mean “cusi77 fo and db”?

    • MAMAZ says:

I saw that too cusi. I don’t know what that’s about. Is he/she calling attention to your psts? Who is db? I’m thinking this is the person posting here as Calling Lynn Out. Just ignore.

        Mamaz__ Makes sense. Ty!

      • dumberries says:

Yeah, MamaZ, I’m thinking the same. I also wonder if “db” is referring to me.

Cusi, I think maybe the person who has been posting here was called out a little for bashing Lynne’s posters in the past and Dyana noted that posters on Lynne’s site don’t usually attack anyone. You and I often recommend “to just ignore” when someone comes here looking for a fight, so maybe that’s why we (?) were used as examples in defending Lynn’s site. Just speculation, it could also be just to start trouble knowing that we would likely see the comments. I’m not going to worry about it and hope you don’t either!

        • cusi77 says:

Dumberries__ I will not worry either. I was just curious.. I am not familiar with insults in English… Just a learning experience!

don’t worry Cuzi – fo and db don’t mean anything to us. Don’t know who Dyana is either. RadicalStar is playing a game but it doesn’t mean we have to play it. Ignore the ignorant!

          • anitabee says:

RadicalStar sounds like OTAYPANKY, doesn’t she? Now that Lynn banned her from here she has nothing better to do than to try to start crap on other boards.

Can you imagine how sad that is that the only enjoyment you get is from posting poop from behind yet another made-up name?

At least here we sign in and enjoy our company. Pls don’t worry about it Dumberries and Cusi. That poor thing has nothing but an UBER SAD life.

          • dumberries says:

I only post on this site, so it’s a learning experience for me too! I remember posing a few comments several weeks ago and getting responses addressed to “db”. It just seems like sometimes people come here to cause trouble and don’t get what they want, so they try other stupid methods. I remember someone coming here and targeting Boston not that long ago for no reason. So, I wouldn’t past them to try other stupid methods to cause problems. Petty little troublemakers!

            • cusi77 says:

The one who called bad names to Boston was OTAY herself! Lynn called her to her employment place!

To me English bad words are like telling “potato” -don’t mean anything!
But the INTENTION is what really matters.

    • viki55 says:

What site are ya’ll referring to?

      • MAMAZ says:

Yeah Dumberries you may be db. This is the same person who was stirring up trouble on Ilana Angels blog as well.

  39. Is there really a pizza recipe in Teresa’a book?
On tonight’s episode, I watched the preview where Joe takes Teresa on a tour of his “Home style” pizza place, and they discuss pizza-making. It really looks to me like Teresa is faking the idea of ever making a pizza before, so I’d love to know what it says in her book about it.
Because if she has a recipe in the book, it sure doesn’t sound like she’s familiar with pizza-making in the preview.
I thought these were recipes that she cooked for & served to her family?
In the preview, Joe asks her a question or says something about making pizza, and Teresa gets ditzy about it and says something like, “a loooong time ago, I think we made the dough…” (ooops, was it a Freudian slip?)

    • Snarkella says:

There are some lovely pizza recipes in her book, with pictures of the whole family pitching in to help with the dough.

      • Thanks Snarkella–maybe Teresa was trying to play dumb to Joe since she said that she would never work there, it just didn’t make sense to me.

        • Whatever the heck that was all about, I think it confirms Lynn’s instincts to consider Teresa to be a liar.

          • Quincy IL says:

Are the housewives like Teresa and Jill really liars? I think might just be forgetting what they said. Jill was happy that she could remember Bethenny’s telephone number that she must have erased from all of her phones. I think that a large number of the housewives look good, but are as intelligent as door knobs.

        • Snarkella says:

Well, it’s pretty obvious Teresa had lots of help with this book. I doubt she could have managed it on her own.

      • WindyCityWondering says:

There was a scene with dough rolled out and Joe chopping garlic for a topping – maybe they are learning how to make pizza for their new restaurant – opps – they lost that investment!

Teresa always plays dumbest around Joe cause she thinks that makes her look sexy and helpless to him…..who does that!?

  40. Quincy IL says:

Here’s something about good clothes that bothers me. When Teresa and Jacqueline wear furs and dresses for an evening and then give them back, do we want to pay full price for the items? Think about it. Someone can drive a new car out of a parking lot and the value drops by thousands. Why would anyone want a designer dress that Jill wore to a fashion show?

Yesterday, I looked at Nordstrom’s online and the dresses that caught my eye only came in white or black. There were shoulder less dressses, but all I could think about was Bethenny and Kelly trying to hike the tops up all season. We have a Sears and JC Penneys, but they only seems to carry prom gowns.

I could always look at the Kim Zolciak collection on Ebay…. rotfl

There are humorists here. I think a lot of us have the acerbic taste of Bethenny, depth of knowledge similar to Alex and the creativity of Ginger Zarin on twitter.

Frankly, if she wants to share with us, she should just post here. What she is doing is making herself the victim. She must not have productive things to do with her time.

      Back to work…

      • MAMAZ says:

I’m not convinced she removed them becase she saw through the trolls tactics. One of the main troublemakers still has a comment up.

What? according to Wikipedia, Including tonight’s episode, there are 4 episodes left of this season, and FOUR! re-union episodes.
I thought that 3 were too many for NY! I don’t know if Bravo will really do 4 re-unions or not, but if they do, I PRAY that they at least change their outfits.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

IMO there is multiple reunion episodes because they have exhausted public venues they can tape in due of how these women act. They can have one reunion for viewer questions, one for Danielle drama, one for Teresa/Jacq comedy hour and one for children should be seen but not heard. And then there is the lost footage. 4 is an awful lot. I’m bored already. But once the screaming starts my interest might perk up again. Will we see Teresa have a breakdown on camera when she can no longer deny her legal & financial problems? Or, as usual, will the best bits be swept under the rug?

Judging from all the support she’s receiving on her Bravo blogs, I would guess the latter. (Damn you, Bravo-blog-monitor!)

    • Squirrels says:

Geez. what could they say for four hours? All it will be is a Danielle bash fest. What’s the point?

    • ShyAsrai says:

      FOUR! reunion episodes??

There will be so much we viewers want those women called out on, and very little expectations that Andy will do so that I expect watching that will only be an exercise in frustration.

      Theresa = Baghdad Bob

    • Need a Hobby says:

I think Bravo makes decisions on how to edit the reunion, and how many parts to air, only after they’ve taped the reunion and see what they have. As with RHONY, for example. Bravo made and announced those decisions after the taping was done.

Assuredly Bravo will milk their cash cow shows and ratings for all they’re worth, but doubt they’ve already planned a four part reunion before they’ve even taped it. I’m guessing it’s likely a Wiki poster’s guess with placeholder entries, rather than actual Bravo scheduling.

  43. Laurie in Detroit says:

    A thought about Kelly:

Do you think she is jealous as heck about Double Exposure? After all, it was SHE who was married to the “most fabulous photographer in the universe”. To see Markus and Indriani co-star on this show about fashion photography must really have Kelly seeing green.

    • Snarkella says:

Oh, good point Laurie. Kelly is a pretty jealous person in general, so I wouldn’t be surprised.

    • moriasheehan says:

can you imagine Giles and Kelly, the 2 most incoherent people in NYC on a show together?

      • Zoey says:

It sounds like you might have some scoop on Gilles. Do tell! I haven’t read very much on him. I wonder who’s choice it was to end the relationship?

        • WindyCityWondering says:

what was interesting when I did some searching is that the marriage ended because of “indiscretions” on both parts…… Gilles is and always will be a model dater/marrying guy. Kelly was either second or third model wife. Since she said they have discussed her dropping his last name recently – there may be another mrs (insert model’s name here) Bensimon……

        • Need a Hobby says:

Some weeks ago if I recall correctly, someone posted a link to videos of a benefit fashion show (?) Gilles photographed at and he was interviewed. He came across as pompously incoherent as Kelly.

Kiki has said that she decided to leave the marriage to grow and have new experiences or some such verbiage. Which I interpreted to mean, Gilles dumped her. But I don’t know.

          • Zoey says:

            Thanks guys!

Question for you regulars- I tried to get email updates for comments made here, but I ended up getting over 50 emails at a time! Is there a way to be more specific about which strand I want to be notified on?
So looking below this box, I see that I checked ‘notify me…’

          • jezzibel says:

I wonder if it casually got out that B. was interested in pursuing something like underwater-basket-weaving, how long would we have to wait for Kelly posting a youtube video of her attempting to erect a teepee underwater

  44. If the re-union episodes will be seen starting August 16, shouldn’t they be taping them already, or really soon?
I haven’t heard of any taping yet, but Bravo does have an email addy up to send questions.
I have a feeling that the “good” questions to Danielle & Teresa will be answered with, “Can’t say, it’s in litigation.”
Maybe that’s why all the news lately about Danielle and Steve Z. lawsuits?
Maybe they set that up so she won’t have to answer about her sex-video?

    • Snarkella says:

Interesting point about all the lawsuits. I think you’re right. I’m sure they’ll find some way to keep us from hearing about the things we want to hear about most!

    • Squirrels says:

I started watching Big Brother on the advise of those here and can’t help seeing the parallels between that program and RHONJ. On each show, the cast mates form faux alliances, smilingly schmooz to get what they want and ultimately betray one another to win the game. I can’t help but suspect the reunion will be more of the same.

      • Char212 says:

If Danielle and Jac and Teresa have restraining orders out on each other they won’t be able to be on the reunion together will they? That might be why there are 4 scheduled but it would be pretty boring to sit and listen to one side without having the other there to speak up.

        • WindyCityWondering says:

Excellent point – restraining orders could change the format of the reunion show!

    • Rabble Rouser says:

I saw on the Bravo website, they have opened it up for questions to ask at the RHWNJ Reunion Show, so they must be getting ready to film it soon.

  45. Buffywood says:

I think we will hear a lot of sentences starting with the phase “On the advice of counsel I cannot discuss the specifics of…”

    • Snarkella says:

How can anyone even guess the reunion will be 4 episodes? What if it’s a big snooze fest — as you said Buffywood, with everyone refusing to answer on advice of counsel? Don’t they have to film it first, and then decide if they have enough content for four episodes? Isn’t that what they did with NY?

      • Need a Hobby says:

That’s my understanding: Bravo tapes first, then during the editing process they decide how much material they think they can milk for air time.

If the ladies clam up due to pending litigation, it will be a snoozefest like the last Atlanta reunion. Maybe the ladies can show up with their respective attorneys—and accountants, and financial and public relations advisers— in addition to the usual hair & makeup. Andy can ask a question and the ladies can confer with their legal support teams and then answer. Kind of like CSPAN for Bravo. That would be a snoozer too, unless fights broke out between the advisers and hair & makeup folks trying to get in for touch ups. That could be fun.

        • WindyCityWondering says:

They can show footage – lost or otherwise, but if no one can answer because of legal counsel then the reunion will be short and boring!

  46. boston02127 says:

I’ll just leave Jill’s tweet here and be quiet, although I could have a field day with it.

Good Morning! Another hot humid day in the hamptons. On way to Pilates to pull in my big fat stomach. Too much frozen yogurt. AHH!

  47. boston02127 says:

B’s tweet: En route to airport again.couldn’t bear staying over&being away from bryn so taking the redeye.she’ll be in my arms in the am.

  48. Squirrels says:

woo hoo, I was right, she’d take the red eye.

  49. viki55 says:

It’s going to be a great day!I slept the whole redeye which is unprecented and I get to see baby Bryn in 30 mins!!!!!snuggles galore.

  50. realityblows says:

I’m thinking Teresa will be at the reunion via Skype from prison.

  51. Squirrels says:

If anyone wants to live blog during Bethenny’s “The View” gig, here’s the link.

7/22 fans of The View, watch &engage live w/viewers during a Twitter party 2celebrate 1st time guest cohost @Bethenny http://bit.ly/cIGKns

    • Squirrels says:

hmmm. I don’t know if you need a twitter acct or not, but you do need to register at the link above to join in the party.

      • Ellabean says:

I know waaaay more about that daytime crapshow -idiot fest known as The View – – – then I’d like to admit.

That said – here are 2 fun, sarcastic links in which you can live blog (or later blog ) that shit show:

        1. “I Hate The View/Screw The View” on Twitter

        – or –

        2. “Watching The View” – a daily blog – hosted by a really nice gal named Stacee, a sweetheart. Lots of nice people on this blog – She also provides a Daily Open Thread to talk about anything else. It gets a little political – but we talk about anything topical in the daily news cycle. You shoulda been with us a bout a month ago when Kathy Griffin was a guest and E. Hasselbeck went in an over the top unprofessional adolescent fit of dissing her – yawning, checking her nails….oh my God. Whoopi Goldberg has been defending Mel Gibson for the last week. Oh My Gawd. Shes defended Michael Vick, Roman Polanski, Chris Brown.Today she could barely talk as she admitted that she flew in on the red eye and “took something” – she was clearly stoned. Any other person reporting to work like that would have been to sent to HR .

Thanks for letting me vent about The Spew – I mean The View.

        • tuzentswurth says:

I saw the start of the View and Whoopi stating that she can’t fly unless she does drugs or something to that effect. I thought it was in poor taste. Saying she has to take medication to fly has a better connotation than acting like she’s taking illegal drugs. However, by the shape she was in, she should not have appeared on air looking so doped she couldn’t speak or keep her eyes open. WTF???

    • viki55 says:

Lordy, I would not watch that show no matter who was on. I can’t handle the toxicity;)

      • realityblows says:

I’ll watch hoping Bethenny bitch-slaps Joy Behemoth like the actress aka Meadow Soprano did in the above video. LMAO at her rolling backwards out of the chair. Picture that! Ok, I can dream.

  52. realityblows says:

OT – My favorite show that isn’t housewives is No Reservations with Anthony Bourdain. I love travel shows. He’s respectful of the people and cultures he visits and tells the stories of these places so well. He’s a wonderful character and I wish I knew him personally. He will try anything (since it would affend his hosts if he didn’t) like some booze made with human spit mixed with some plant powder and fermented. OMG. He said it was “stringy” after he drank it. !!! Reminds me of a joke but I won’t tell you since it made me almost hurl when I heard it. LOL

    • iwannabeanarchy says:

I love Bourdain and that show. I especially appreciate his commentary on “chefs” on the Food Network.

      • jezzibel says:

you have got to read his book Kitchen Confidential..I took my copy of it to Iraq so I could read it…and I did..repeatedly, so much so it fell apart before I got home(brought a newer copy on Amazon)

    • tuzentswurth says:

He is a character for sure and a doll. He has a great show, he is an original. Kitchen Confidential is good, he has written some fiction also. He is a colorful character and thank goodness, he found love and parenthood before he killed himself.

  53. Zoe says:

I thought the name of bethenny’s first book was titled “naturally thin, unleash your SKINNY girl” am I mistaken? Teresa is so pathetic to try and trash bethenny, especially when B doesn’t even bother to respond. All this bankruptcy was karma and poetic justice for B.

    • viki55 says:

Yup….Naturally Thin: Unleash Your SkinnyGirl and Free Yourself from a Lifetime of Dieting

      • Ellabean says:

Wait – plus Bethenny branded and started marketing the name “SkinnyGirl” Margerita even before h r book.

Recall in Season 1 of New York – it might have been even as ealry as the 2nd or 3rd episode where she and The Countess go out for drinks. Bethenny ordered a Skinny Girl Marg and explained to LuAnn what it was. (The same episode when Lu Ann scolded her for introducing her to the driver as” LuAnn” versus Mrs. D’ Lesseps.)

That was filmed Sept 2008 – way before Teresa was even on the radar as a housewife from NJ.

  54. Quincy IL says:

Jeff Lewis is in NYC for House Beautiful’s Kitchen of the Year.

It looks like a Jeff Lewis kitchen to me.

Eventually his personal website will have photos…

I love JL too, but not enough to live with him.

  55. Ellabean says:

I own up to the fact that over the weekend I was slightly critical of Bethenny flying to LA. Of course all mom’s that work – eventually have to go back to work after baby. But I am so impressed that she is taking the red eye back to be with Bryn.

  56. sugarmagnolia10 says:

must agree about the fans. I was on Teresa’s fan page last week (I was previously a fan, so I didn’t just join to bash her) and got threatened. Someone posted to get off of her fan page, I posted back (as a joke obviously), “are you going to chase me thru a country club if I don’t?”. Response, (not vertabim) “No, I wouldn’t chase you, I have a gun…..”. I am certain this person would not hunt me down to shoot me, but it was an obvious threat and just inappropriate conversation. You don’t say “bomb” at the airport, and you don’t joke about gun threats either. It’s just not funny, or witty….But it was typical of a Teresa fan.

I think Teresa was probably like this in high school. She is the girl who will walk up to a circle of girls talking, and turn her back to exclude someone and pretend she didn’t mean to. But, in fact, she meant to be exclusionary. You know there are a ton of “former nerds” from Teresa’s high school who are just loving all of this news about her financial situation!

    • Wendy says:

Wow, sounds like a scary group. I’m sure Teresa does have alot of fans. Let’s just hope they are buying her cookbook so she can pay back all the people she owes.

  57. moriasheehan says:

OT some sex woman is now following me on twitter, i tried to block and keep getting error message. any suggestions.

    • icantstandthetoxicity says:

Twitter is having some technical issues right now. I keep getting the “Twitter is over capicity” message. Try to block that account later on and it should work.

  58. Olivia says:

So now Dina is saying that the reason she left the show is because Danielle was involved and she was afraid of losing custody of Lexi. Give me a break.

If this were so, why would anyone bother with Danielle again? Dina pretending to be willing to give Danielle a “second chance”? Why? If I thought anyone was attempting to take my child from me I would never in a million years want to be in the same city, let alone the same series with them again.

Dina burning candles and inviting some shaman to exorcise the bad energy from her life while saying she wanted to forgive Danielle is unbelievable from any viewpoint. Danielle is and was a skank of the first order but that is nothing new. According to Dina there was nothing nefarious about the consent given by Lexi’s father so why all this angst and using it as a reason now to give up the show?

The first thing any sane person would do would be to put as much distance between themselves and Danielle not continue calling and e-mailing back and forth showing “forgiveness” of an attempt to force you to lose your child. Dina is as whacked out as the rest of them.

    • Quincy IL says:

I feel sorry for Dina’s Greek first husband. It’s obvious that she left him because he was not rich. He probably loved her. She leaves with his daughter and goes to the big house with the rich guy. It’s got to hurt husband number one.

Jill probably did the same with Mr. Shapiro, her first husband. He’s remarried and has several small children now. Ally used to have photos of her half siblings on her facebook.

Women can want better lives and look for men who will give them more. I see it here at the hospital.

Ramona isn’t stupid. She made sure there was a public vow of loyalty. 17 years…. and hopefully more.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Story is a relative of Dina’s exhusband (Lexi’s dad) asked Danielle about Bravo contract regarding wives’ kids on show. Alledgedly, Dina forged her ex’s signature on the contract and the relative wanted to know who to call about it – Danielle alledgedly gave this relative phone numbers for Bravo.
I haven’t heard anything about Danielle trying to get Lexi removed from Dina’s custody, which sounds like Dina and her ex worked it out and Lexi is not on the show this season.

    • KirksvilleMo says:

I found it rather telling that the night Dina drove to meet Daniell she drove on the freeway with the top down. Now since Daniell obviously knew where she was driving to and from at that time, shouldn’t she have been more careful if she really thinks of Daniell as a threat?
There were certain areas of KC.,MO.that I would never drive with the top down and no one was stalking and harrassing me.
Shows me Dina is not really fearful.IMO

      • MAMAZ says:

I was originally impressed that Dina left the show. But since then she has continued to tweet about Danielle and give interviews about Danielle. Why bother leaving the show if you are still so involved with the drama?
As for losing custody of her daughter because of the show I’m not buying it. You have to do some pretty bad stuff to lose custody. And Lexi is at the age where a judge would consider which parent she wanted to live with.
But do you know that Dina left her first husband because he wasn’t rich? Or that she left him for Tommy Manzo? If we can believe what was said on the reunion show first season Dina was already divorced when the family fixed them up. I did say IF.

  59. boston02127 says:

Two of Ashley’s friends were on the Wendy Williams show today. They asked Wendy a question “about a friend who’s mom is on RHONJ”. They said since she (Ashley) has been on the show her head is so big, they don’t know how to talk to her. They were looking for advice from Wendy on how to approach Ashley about this.

    Ashley’s Tweets:
both are nothing to me anymore… you treated me like shit 24/7… you were the worst “friends” ever… in the words of @Bethenny … “get a hobby” k thanks

haha sorry! &yeah they’re so dumb..thank god they aren’t in my life anymore

jess and marykate for going so far out of your way to TRY to bring me down..wendy williams show? really?..haha pathetic

    • Squirrels says:

      What did Wendy answer?

      • Quincy IL says:

Now, friends of the children of NY RH are on talk shows?

I think we should all go on the Bravo reunion and discuss NYC and NJ Housewives in a round table. I am wearing black and letting my hair flow gracefully to my shoulders, what are your wearing? (Just trying to be like the housewives.)

        • Zoey says:

Don’t forget lots of cheesy-looking bling! Remember all the crap Jill had on her wrists at the reunion? It looked like some junk jewelry I would catch at Mardi Gras!

      • boston02127 says:

@Squirrels–Wendy told them that their young and things change. She also laughed and said Ashley would probably see them on the show asking Wendy how to approach her.

  60. Quincy IL says:

Danielle Staub was blackmailed and she called the police.

This is the guy that she was in trouble with years ago in Miami. I read an article that he told people that she owed him and I think I posted it here ages ago.
It was an in house interview as he was in jail.

Danielle is up to her neck in shit now.

    • dumberries says:

Is the same Danny ex-felon that was acting as her bodyguard?

      • Quincy IL says:

No, I think this this is the guy arrested when she was accussed of helping kidnap and pistol whip a kid.

        • Quincy IL says:

there are tons of articles from last summer on this man. He was supposedly a part of a South American drug cartel.

For all I know, he was “in lust” with beautiful lap dancing (trying to be nice) Beverly Merril/Danielle Staub.

I am worried about those two girls. Their father should be ashamed that he left them with Danielle.

          • dumberries says:

Jeez, what is Bravo delivering to us?!! The Manzo mob uncle who is killed and stuffed in his trunk, the gaudy Giudice grifters, Danielle the kidnapping stripper extortionist…. This isn’t my idea of “Real Housewives” (at least nothing like any I’ve ever met).

            • Quincy IL says:

I knew the top guys in the Young Lord’s Street Gang (Puerto Rican 1971.) They were scary. I had been a nurse’s aid in Grant Hospital when one of them was stabbed. It took a long time to get them to leave me alone. This Danielle Aguliar is one thousand times worse than the Young Lords.

            • Need a Hobby says:

Not an uncle: Caroline’s & Dina’s FIL “Tiny” Manzo was found dead in a car trunk, bound & shot. As was one of his business associates a couple weeks before or after IIRC.

              • dumberries says:

Ah, thanks NeedaHobby. I thought it was the uncle, but hard to keep the relations on the show straight. FIL is even closer to home… Imagine their husbands finding out that their father was killed and stuffed in a trunk. Bad stuff for a child, of any age..

              • tuzentswurth says:

Wasn’t the guy shot and stuffed in the trunk the founder of the Brownstone……Caro’s hubby Albert’s father?( and Dina’s hubby Tommy’s father)

        • Quincy IL says:

I bet Danielle is blaming Dina for bringing that book to the beauty parlor and starting this. That is the kind of thinking our Danielle does.

          • Zoey says:

So what’s the scoop on the guy with the money Danielle was married to? Wonder where he is and his status, marital and monetary. Just being nosy!

  61. boston02127 says:

Jill’s tweet: Thank you @susansbarash! Loved the title… Toxic Friends ! Great summer read!

    From Susan Barash’s website:
Welcome to my brand new website. I’m delighted to announce that my latest book, Toxic Friends: The Antidote for Women Stuck in Complicated Friendships. As an author and as a gender professor, Toxic Friends was an intriguing book to research and write and underscores my ongoing fascination with how women of all ages in America lead their lives. Toxic Friends was also a natural segue after writing Tripping the Prom Queen, about female rivalry and Little White Lies.

    • Quincy IL says:

Jill should know. She is the quintessential “toxic friend.”

    • Squirrels says:

LOL. $10 says Jill’s head explodes by chapter 6.

      • Need a Hobby says:

Jill likely will love the book and write notes in it referencing all the slights that have been done to her over the years by all those evil “others.”

Jill projects her behaviors on others: she does not and will not see or acknowledge such behaviors herself.

  62. Can’t stand Danielle, so I’m passing on WWH tonight. I think Jeff Lewis is on there tonight too (?) so please post what I’ve missed … ???? I wonder if “the family” that pays Joe $10K is not so much blood related as business related, and Joe does some private … construction … jobs for them. Perhaps that’s why they are so tight with the Manzos?

  63. MrWestVirginia says:

Not to be rude or try and cause trouble, but does Jacqueline have some sort of physical deformity in her face? From the cheekbones down to her chin, her face looks like a bit like either Jay Leno or the late actor, Rondo Hatton. Something about her jawbones look strange to me. Maybe it is because she is so short and heavy, maybe it is her hair. Long hair on a woman of her girth makes her look more heavy. She should cut her hair a bit short for her face.

    • Quincy IL says:

I thought she had a nice face. She has a short torso, but her figure isn’t terrible. Many of us can’t be/refuse to starve to death to be Twiggy.

She’s exercising and trying… I give her some credit for that.

      • Squirrels says:

exercising…. in a skirt. Guess the maid forgot to do the laundry?

        • Quincy IL says:

Chance to show off the slender legs. She probably wears those skirts all of the time.

Maybe, hubby got the new machine and asked her to stop on it. LOL.

    • boston02127 says:

Her face is crooked. Her chin slants to one side.

    • dumberries says:

Her face doesn’t move as much as most people’s – she has a slight statue-like quality. Maybe lots of botox…

      • WindyCityWondering says:

botox for sure and maybe some work on her cheeks that don’t seem to match with her jawline – she did just have a baby and it does take awhile for things to get back to normal. She even said she was hugh after the baby was born.

Bethenny really looked deformed – I thought her jaws were declaring their independence from her face and taking off in opposite directions – but she looks much more normal now.

    • boston02127 says:

@MrWestV–I think she has pretty hair but it doesn’t help her features at all. Her face is much too long for that long straight hair.

  64. Snarkella says:

I think she’s pretty, but something does seem to be a little bit off. I can’t put my finger on it, but I’ve noticed it also. Maybe plastic surgery? Is it the nose?

    • Quincy IL says:

Actually, I have seen people mention her nose on the celebrity plastic surgery sites. They speculate a lot.

      • Ellabean says:

I’ve thought the same thing about Jaqueline’s face. It’s ‘off’ somehow. I think she had a nose job. It’s a sort of Bob Hope ski lift/slalom scooped out thing. That’s a standard post-op outcome shape from a pre-op large hook shape.

Anybody care to study Trashley’s in relation to Jac’s for comparison of what Jac’s might have looked like pre-surgery?
I can’t look at Trashley that close.

        • boston02127 says:

          Jac has horse face syndrome.

          • Snarkella says:

            Ouch! Nailed it!

          • Zoey says:

I’ve missed some shows along the way, have they ever mentioned anything about Ashley’s father and where he is?

I kind of feel sorry for her….kind of. She is an adult now and responsible for her behavior, yes. But if she had no dad, then this dad hasn’t adopted her, and her mom is terrible at disciplining her-she acts like a child herself. And that’s just what we see!

            • Quincy IL says:

Last winter, Ashely went to Vegas for a few weeks to stay with her dad. She twittered. I think she had had some surgery. Can’t remember what it was on…Hmmmm….

            • Snarkella says:

I don’t feel sorry for her. Lots of people have bad parents but just choose a different path. Ashley seems intent on jumping right into the chaos.

            • Quincy IL says:

It’s 7 PM in NYC. Danielle must be in makeup and hair for WWHL tonight with Jeff Lewis. If Jacqueline knows about Danielle’s latest call to the police, I bet Andy knows.
Now, I will have to dvr that show.

          • tuzentswurth says:

Nailed it, true. She looks like she has so much botox she is nearly embalmed. No wonder Ashley can’t understand disapproval or any messages her mother tries to deliver. NO EXPRESSION!

Her body,….. a big woman who has had the middle sucked out of her, now looks top-heavy, football-shouldered and off balance. Lighten up on the lipo and botox, puhleeze.
And Jac, did you just lose your mind when when you started chasing Danielle yelling about the pistol-whipping? Just joined the fray because you were swept away with angry crowd syndrome and couldn’t think for yourself? You wonder why your daughter is so dumb?
It boggles my mind that anyone could make Danielle look better than themselves, but there you have it! What a bunch of idiots.

I wonder if Caroline or Jacqueline have offered Teresa any financial help. I’m doubting they did but I wonder if Teresa looses her home if they will step up to help.

    • Snarkella says:

I doubt they would offer financial help. I would love to hear their reaction to the whole thing. It’s a sordid little mess and Caroline does like to get on her soapbox about the criminal types. Caroline, Dina and Jac must feel as though they’ve been duped as well. They’ve all made delighted comments about the way Teresa throws money around. Now they know she’s a poser. Went too far out on a limb and really shouldn’t having been throwing all that money around.

I remember Dina saying that Teresa’s new little daughter was so lucky to have Teresa for a mother. Now I feel sorry for that little baby and the others as well. It can’t be a happy house with all of this going on.

    • Squirrels says:

No way!!! When it comes to money, they will take the “borrower nor lender be.” T and her man will have to find real relatives or live off the 10K they get from their “other” relatives. (cough).

    • Quincy IL says:

No way, Boston. It’s sink or swim time for Teresa and Joe. The family might help. Lots of members of “the family” might help.

      • Ellabean says:

Please forgive me – but with all the good detailed here about the Guidices upcoming housesale and financial woes – I got lost:

Simple question I’m not clear on:

Are they actually losing that mansion?

        • Quincy IL says:

Yes. All of their belongings are being auctioned off too. It’s our chance to buy accessories.

        • Need a Hobby says:

I think no one really knows. If the bankruptcy court denies their petition for bankruptcy protection, which is precisely what the trustee of the estate has recommended/asked of the court, it may be possible that their assets will be liquidated to pay their debts and they could lose the house. So it depends on what happens. Nothing’s certain yet.

          • WindyCityWondering says:

The trustee denied their request so all that stalled foreclosure stuff is moving forward – hence the auction next month of the contents of the mansion. Because other assets were found, now lying under oath comes into play. And the IRS is close on their heels because they have not been paying their fair share of taxes.

            • Need a Hobby says:

Doesn’t the bankruptcy court judge, since it’s a legal proceeding, have to first rule on the trustee’s complaint to the court? The trustee has filed his complaint, I imagine the Giudices will have an opportunity to respond before the court issues its ruling. Do we know if this has happened?

          • Ellabean says:

            Thanks Need and Quincy.

    • dumberries says:

Interesting question. I hope they haven’t offered any “help”. Doesn’t seem like Juicy and Teresa understand the concept of “paying back” a loan. Juicy and Teresa have no blood connection to the Laurita or Manzo families, right? If that’s right, I’m betting none of the husbands will offer up money to help the over-the-top deadbeats dig themselves out of their $11 million hole. But, I could see Jac and Caroline asking their hubbies to help out (for the sake of the show). I don’t think it will fly, but these people never cease to amaze!

    • boston02127 says:

loses vs looses —sorry I had a mental block.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Don’t think they will offer anything more than kind words! They don’t need that spotlight shining on them….

  66. boston02127 says:

This is Ally’s photobook from her travels. I don’t know why but I always feel sorry for Ally.

      • WindyCityWondering says:

Me too! Ally seems so embarrassed and I wonder how much time she actually gets to just be a teenager and hang with her buds.

    • Squirrels says:

She asked for feedback on twitter. What she wants is compliments. I couldn’t bear to give her tips. Don’t want her to take it the wrong way and be upset.

      • Quincy IL says:

I doubt that she comes here. Pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase tell us what you think of the photos.

        • Squirrels says:

I only took a peek at the Nunnery. She has a reasonable eye, but it appears she crops quite a bit. That’s fine, but I’m an old school editorial shooter who shoots tight, very little cropping. That said, her exposures in the 4 shots I saw were good, but for the group shot. Were I to give her one piece of advice? Stop putting everyone in the middle. Get creative, shoot one dead center if you wish, then mix it up. Be sure your subject is always facing into the shot in profiles. You should take appx 10 shots in hopes of getting that “one” that works. Be your own worst critic and edit, edit, edit. Don’t be afraid to dump those which may be nice, but uninteresting. Documentary pics should reach into the soul of your subject whenever possible. Just an opinion.

          • myname2use4now says:

Squirrels, as a serious amateur photographer I agree with your feedback. Once you learn to get off center and get closer to your subject, I think you get much better results. For someone her age I think she’s off to a great start and if she keeps at it her eye and technique will improve as she goes along. I feel sorry for her too and wish her the best of luck.

            • Squirrels says:

She is indeed on her way. The only way to improve is to keep shooting. With digital it’s so inexpensive to do.

I’m right now working to get my travel agent/ photo tour operator gig going. First trip will be to Yellowstone. I’ll keep you posted if interested. It includes lessons for newbies, too. (added value, ya know?)

              • myname2use4now says:

Yes, keep in the loop! I’d love to see some of your work. I’d send my email to you but I have no idea how to direct message on here!

          • Quincy IL says:

We went to a restaurant in California that had wonderful photos. It turned out that the owners were family members of Ansel Adams. They talked to us about the composition of the black and white photos at length. That was a wonderful day.

            • Squirrels says:

Awesome!!! He’s a legend and created the gray scale, which I still use today, although I did get rid of my darkroom, which I now regret.

    Kellamity’s latest Twitter-

‘I hope sea and her daddy have an amazing trip to Europe. Good luck ted at the swim meet.’

I guess the dad is taking just one child to Europe? That’s kind of odd.

  68. Ellabean says:

Why have we never heard Kelly speak French? Considering she was married to a Frenchman and surely her kids use it.

I will bet she has people believing she speaks it and can barely utter a word.

    • boston02127 says:

@Ellabean–In all the years they were married he only repeated the words “vous êtes un âne muet”. (you are a dumb ass)

    • dumberries says:

I read somewhere that she said she never acknowledged to Giles that she spoke French until after he proposed (being mysterious, or some such crap). I betchya she doesn’t speak more than a few words, but she did claim to be a speaker of the language in the interview I read (like 18 months ago). You nailed it! Surely, another tiny little white one.

      • Need a Hobby says:

Kelly’s an accomplished linguist….incoherent in several languages.

      • WindyCityWondering says:

She eats french fries so she obviously can speak french! Oui?

        • Ellabean says:

And she can spell souffle’ and owns a chaise lounge.

          • dumberries says:

Well, I’m not sure about being able to spell souffle’, but I’m sure she owns a chaise lounge for all those breezy days on the patio – just sittin and sippin’ the kellade.

            • moriasheehan says:

now if she would learn to (sp) ferme’ la bouche! grammer may be wrong too, french classes were at St Mary’s School in riverside, il. grades k-8, tho i was only there till grade 5 as papa’ was transferred to a state i hate. so, OMG, that was almost 50 years ago, WTF, i am freaking OLD, never mind…..crazy old lady here.

    • Squirrels says:

You know you are an idiot when….

-Your complete repertoire of adjectives is limited to three.
-Your idea of a healthy diet consists of alternating starvation with candy.
-You spread the word of love while telling everyone they are evil.

    • Ellabean says:

B looks particularly great there. Nude colored dress and complimentary makeup – pale lip – instead of her usual bright red (which is also pretty and her color).

Other than opening an occasional link – I just can’t visit Fox, though. My head would explode.

So does that mean seperate reunion shows?

    • Need a Hobby says:

I guess they all might be on Skype at the reunion. LOL

    • Quincy IL says:

I guess Jacqueline heard about the mob blackmail of Danielle. The plot thickens.

      • Quincy IL says:

I posted into the wrong place above.

Danielle will be on WWHL with Jeff Lewis tonight. If Jacqueline knows about the black mail of Danielle by the South American Drug figure, so does Andy. Andy should ask her.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

They can all stay home for all I care – no reunion is fine by me!

    • tuzentswurth says:

So quit chasing after her, dumbass.

      • tuzentswurth says:

This posted in response to Jac’s tweet, to clarify. I don’t tweet but if I did………I’d send it to her.

  70. boston02127 says:

    Ashley just tweeted this pic.

gtg, have a good night everyone

    • Squirrels says:

Bet she sees that as a “glamour shot”. What a putz.

      • Ellabean says:

OH OH ! Thank you Squirrels ! THAT is the name I was trying to think of earlier for those shopping mall head shot pictures that, uh, “Callin’ You Out Lynn” uses for her screen name. Hokey. Sorry Callin’ – but calling you out. 🙂

  71. I know Danielle waited til now for the attempted restraining order so she could be the scared little bunny (gag) on the huge tv screen with the Manzos, Teresa and the Kims sitting with Andy in another ‘undisclosed location.’ Because she’s in danger. Grave. Danger.

What I would love is for them to get up in the middle and walk into the room Danielle is in, scaring the crap right outta her. I’m totally sick.

    • Quincy IL says:

Has Danielle been afraid of the people from her early life all of this time? Perhaps, that cause paranoi and she’s confused. She thinks everyone is coming after her. Remember the clerk on the phone is the clothing store. Danielle was really off when she accused that lady of disrespect.

    • Quincy IL says:

Danielle put her house up for sale with a realtor and the address has been all over the net. If she was afraid, she wouldn’t announce where she is going to be all of the time.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Wondering if the crap that was going on during filming (last fall) is still going on and that is the reason for the restraining orders – Ashley hasn’t stopped her campaign of hate towards Danielle and Barbie needs to focus on something other than her dream house and toys being taken away. Now that all of what happened last fall is on the air -they are reliving it again. The crazy train just doesn’t seem to stop.

  72. Ellabean says:

I gave up on NJ wives this season . Not watching at all.

But I’ll admit it – I probably will watch the reunion.

  73. WindyCityWondering says:

Watching Ashley “moving home” what do you want to bet she got kicked out of where she was staying because she couldn’t follow the house rules…..
