I Hate Jill Zarin Weekend Update August 22, 2010

I Hate Jill Zarin                   Weekend Update                            August 21, 2010

I hope you’ll all indulge me while I take just a quick minute to thank everyone who reads and posts comments on this blog for the support that I feel from everyone!  It has been a wonderful Saturday, and I returned to some really great Tweets and always supportive comments on the blog.  The people who comment regularly on the blog are an amazing group of people and if you get the chance, I highly recommend reading through as many as you can.  The people who read and comment on the blog are intelligent, funny, insightful and amazing research experts.  Yes, experts!

So many people on Twitter have been so supportive and a ton of fun to chat with, which has added so much to the blogging experience for me.

So from the bottom of my heart to all of you, thank you for your support!

The Real Housewives of DC have posted their blogs on BravoTV.com, all except Cat, but we did hear from her this week, here is a link to an interview that she gave, if you get the impression that she doesn’t like Michaele much, it’s because she doesn’t….

http://therealhousewivesblog.blogspot.com/2010/08/catherine-ommanney-bashes-salahis-at.html

In fact, it doesn’t appear as though any of the other DC housewives have much positive reaction to the Salahi’s and I think this past episode gave us the first of many more reasons to come.

More bad news out of New Jersey, Juicy Joe appeared in court last week at his own request in order to contest the sentence that he EARNED for his recent DWI.  Joe Giudice’s attorney argued that the 30-day community service and the 1 year suspension on his driver’s license were “excessive”.  WHAT?   Surprisingly the judge agreed saying the was no Dillinger, reducing his license suspension to 7 months and completely eliminating the community service that Joe was supposed to serve.  I’m sickened!   Score another one for the Giudice’s, they were successful just a few days ago in getting the court ordered auction of their belongings delayed by two months as well.   Attention all criminals, move to New Jersey!   (Nothing against NJ but someone needs to check those judges)

It all does explain Teresa’s complete disrespect for police officers.  When you play on the wrong side of the law, you tend to disregard law enforcement.

Caroline Manzo, on the other hand, seems to have a lot of respect and admiration for law enforcement.  We saw her hold a fundraiser for the Sherriff’s department at her home early on in the season, Teresa and Joe did attend the fundraiser but if you recall, were completely and very obviously underdressed in comparison to the other guests.  Was that their way of showing their disdain for the police as well?

I do not see that Caroline and Teresa have anything at all in common and I believe that deep down, behind closed doors, Caroline secretly detests Teresa and Joe Giudice.  Caroline has too much class to say or do anything that will show the public how she feels, but look at these recent events and tell me what you think.

Caroline and Teresa recently made a trip to Los Angeles to promote the Real Housewives of New Jersey.  Caroline tweeted several times what they were doing, which show they were going to appear on and general updates.  Every Tweet that Caroline posted included Teresa’s involvement.  Teresa, on the other hand, also tweeted everything that they were doing but never once mentioned Caroline.  That is odd.

Earlier in the season, Teresa and Joe were invited to Caroline’s house for dinner and were 90 minutes late.  In Teresa’s interview she explained that the baby needed her diaper changed, yet the kids didn’t join them for this dinner at Caroline’s home so whoever was babysitting surely could have changed the diaper, but even if it was Teresa who changed the diaper, does that take 90 minutes in the Giudice household?   At the end of Teresa’s interview, referring to being late, she looked directly at the camera and said, “Too bad!”.  Not, “I’m sorry”, but “too bad” and that would have been directed at her hostess, right?

In Italy, Caroline was in pain with kidney stones throughout the trip, babysat Teresa’s kids and rarely complained.  She tolerated screaming kids at a birthday dinner, trekked up a steep hill to meet Teresa and Joe’s relatives, was gracious to everyone and kept a positive attitude.  Teresa’s interview was once again rude to Caroline, she acknowledges that Caroline has kidney stones and in pain but Teresa has absolutely no compassion saying that she’s not responsible for Caroline’s bad attitude.  Yet it was Teresa’s kids and husband who were being obnoxious and annoying everyone on the tour bus.

Teresa never has a nice thing to say about Caroline, yet Caroline has always been complimentary toward Teresa or she says nothing at all.  Caroline has called Teresa “family” and has embraced Teresa saying “she always makes me laugh”, at least on camera and in public.

I personally think that these two women cannot stand one another but Caroline is much better at hiding it because she has the good sense to know that it is best to have a united front.  Teresa is a wild card and can’t hide her feelings as well, she has shown plenty of disrespect toward Caroline.

I think that their common denominator is their hatred for Danielle and that is the reason that these two haven’t already gone at each other.  That, coupled with the fact that they both do seem to love Jacqueline and out of respect for her, possibly they tolerate one another.

Another one of my crazy theories, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.  What do you all think?

One of Kelly Bensimon’s tweets today

@kikilet  I would never use a cleanse. Its unhealthy to screw with ur metabolism. Eat light for a few days, drink tons of water

Really Kelly?  Aren’t you the one who gifted a “cleanse” to Sonja after her liposuction procedure?  Yes, I believe you are that person, I even recall Jill telling you to never give her the same gift.  It’s so nice that you’d give a gift of something that you feel so strongly about.  Sonja must be touched!

From Jill Zarin:

Jill Zarin:  Absolutely!RT @KatieBman @Jillzarin @mccordalex I think a lot gets blown out of proportion for ratings, wouldn’t u agree?

Jill Zarin:  I do NOT hate alex and never have. Ever. We filmed that in February and we actually had a nice day together in my opinion. RT @DanalynnD @Jillzarin why were you on Who wants to be a Millionaire with Alex if you hate her?

Alex remembers it differently…

McCordAlex  @KatieBman out of context, yes – out of proportion not really.

McCordAlex  @kaybee711 we filmed Millionaire on November 13th actually, and that evening was Kelly’s party – that wasn’t a particularly nice time, no.

McCordAlex  @KatieBman You can’t change the words that come out of their mouths and JZ is very much “do as I say, not as i do” @Jillzarin @mccordalex

Now this is just freaky:

DinaManzo:  Thinking of waxing my back, thoughts? Oh, & I have a new hair do http://tweetphoto.com/40485037

DinaManzo:  I don’t ever want to hear that @grandmawrinkles is a freak again ; )

Sorry Dina but Grandma Wrinkles is still ugly, maybe she is a cat and cannot help the way she looks but I don’t have to like it.  I don’t like the way tarantulas look either.  Creepy!

Until Next Time………..

500 Responses to I Hate Jill Zarin Weekend Update August 22, 2010

  1. Olivia says:

Devout Dina is sending out edicts now to “cease and desist” any further comments regarding her ugly cat? Wow!

Surprised that she has not contacted more “sham” astrologers, or whatever those phonies are, to cast spells on those of us who would deign to make light of that hairless beast.

Dina, your cat is ugly and frightening to look at. You’re beginning to look the same.

    • Kat says:

If Dina doesn’t like the heat she shouldn’t have set up a twitter account in the cat’s name and then tweeted nasty disgusting thoughts. She is a coward. jmo

      • boston02127 says:

@Kat–Dina can give it but she can’t take it.

      • dumberries says:

Dina seems like a poser to me – don’t care squat about her or her weird cat. I don’t know if the @GrandmaWrinkles twitter account belongs to Dina. I remember Alana Chandler had to take legal matters to get the “alana’s cat” twitter account closed. Some hard-core Zarin supporters assumed Alana had set it up, but she had nothing to do with it. This twitter stuff is confusing; doesn’t seem hard to take out an account and pose as someone else.

Lynn: Does Dina confirm owning the @GrandmaWrinkles twitter account? If not, you’d think she’d send a tweet out to tell that person to cease sending messages that are attributed to Dina.

        • Kat says:

Dina would never own up to it. She has a bs public persona to protect. It’s Dina’s or someone she knows and allows to do this underhandedness, either way it’s her’s to own.
love and light vs nasty feline fecal adventures.

        • MAMAZ says:

It’s like those people who get dozens of tatoos, piercing, gauges etc and then cop a “what are you lookin’ at” attitude. I’m cool with someone choosing a style that’s different from mine but seriously don’t expect people not to react to a style that is clearly selected to draw attention. Ditto Dina’s cat.

          • dumberries says:

Exactly MAMZ. No sound-minded person chooses to showcase something that unconventional without expecting a reaction. Dina loves the attention. And, who cares if someone thinks your pet is ugly or gross? People have very different tastes in animals. Big whoop.

        • Squirrels says:

Alana’s cat still exists. or did two days ago at least

          • dumberries says:

Squirrels, could have been a different variation of that twitter name (not referring to the blogger who posts here sometimes). I don’t tweet, I just remember the good summary and court docs @AFormerJillFan posted here in June.

            • Why thanks Dumberries! The fake Alana account was opened using her actual full name (which Alana said she never does, but rather uses A. Chandler), and the poser had tried to assume her identity and the real Alana succeeded in getting it shut down. @AlanasCat is an ok account and the kitty is still posting, even on Lynn’s board. 🙂

        • LynnNChicago says:

Yes, Dina owns that account, and it is her tweeting on it, she confirmed it on WWHL with Andy Cohen

          • Kat says:

I can’t believe she owned it! And that she is so vile tweeting from it.

            • Glad to see you’re back posting Kat! I’ve missed your tortie pic! 🙂

We have a new addition to our kitty family–a little black orphan kit (about 4 mo now) who we name Lily (nicknamed Liliput). We’ve had her a little over 5 weeks now and she’s already doubled in size! Wow! How fast they grow!

I haven’t been on the boards here or anywhere else for that matter much as we’ve been extra busy with her and I’ve been gearing towards starting my little ebay business back up. Still try to read a little every now and then.

          • dumberries says:

Thanks for confirming Lynn! She’s definitely off her rocker….

    • Squirrels says:

I would love a chinese crested hairless dog, but Walt the bunny doesn’t like competition. He actually thumps when there is a dog in the house. Oh well.

  2. boston02127 says:

@Olivia–Your post to Dina– LOL LOL LOL, TY! I had a good laugh.
“your cat is ugly and frightening to look at. You’re beginning to look the same”

  3. Kat says:

Lynn, Thank you for your blog!

A question, did you find out Lynda’s twitters from the other day came from an imposter account?

  4. boston02127 says:

Does anyone else find it odd when Jill talks/tweets about her mother she calls her mommy?
Her tweet—So happy to my mommy is ok. A little too thin but feeling better thanks to all of your prayers. I am so grateful to all of you.
    Ashley does it too—Her tweet–
http://tweetphoto.com/40558678 my daddy just sent me this picture of my little brother Gavin..”65 yard run (cont) http://tl.gd/394lln

I don’t call my parents by their first names, I call them mom & dad. For some reason I find “mommy” and “daddy” coming from an adult sounding odd.

    • Olivia says:

Here is the progression: infants and toddlers refer to their parents as Mommy and Daddy. As they grow older they revert to Mom and Dad. By the time they reach voting age they usually call the mother Ma for some reason. But calling a woman in her late 70’s by her close to 50 yr old daughters is infantile to say the least.

But then again Jill refers to Ginger as her “baby” which probably opens another series of questions best left unsaid.

    • Boston, I called my Dad “Daddy” until the day he passed away. I can’t remember calling him anything else, Not Dad or Father. I never really thought about that until your post. Not that I took offense in any way or felt you meant it to be offensive, just that your observation made me think! Mom is Mom. Only “mommy” if I am being funny or cutesy with her but Dad was always “Daddy”. Hmmmmmm……..now you have me thinking LOL!

      • Olivia says:

But something tells me that you more than likely referred to him as “my father” when discussing him with other people. Forgive my assumption if I am incorrect.

Jill rarely says “my mother” but uses “mommy” quite often even on the show.

        • boston02127 says:

@Duchessofdryerlint & Olivia–I think Olivia is right. You referred to him as “my dad” which sounds normal.
I do the same, I call my mother Mama, but when her name comes up in conversation with friends I don’t day “my mama”. I say my mom or my mother.

      • harleysmom says:

I still call my “father” Daddy and he has been dead several years – late 70s when he died. It doesn’t matter who I am talking to – my sister and I never thought of him any other way. On the other hand, my mom has alway been mom – I don’t remember ever calling her mommy. My husband and have been called mommy & daddy, mom & dad, and now grammy & poppy. Our kids seem to use these interchangeably unless they are talking to our grandchildren. then we are always grammy & poppy. All families are different – as long as it is said with love, I’m OK with it.

        • Ellabean says:

I am very middle aged – and have always called my parents: mommy and daddy. And always will.

But just like said above: …when speaking about them to others – it is my mom and dad or or my Mother and Father. Respectful that way.

      • Tam5115 says:

I called my father, daddy too. Funny thing is, I didn’t do that until I was in my late 30’s and he had gotten ill. It’s quite common in the south I think, but I’m a northerner and my entire family as children called their parents, mama and daddy.

        I don’t think I’ve ever said “mommy”

      • Rabble Rouser says:

For some reason, I think a woman calling her father “Daddy” is is somehow different that calling their mother “Mommy”. I’m not sure how to articulate it but in my mind it’s like a sign of affection and recognition because he would be the first man she ever loved.

As to JZ, I think Jill calls her mother ‘Mommy’ to create the illusion that her mother is a sweet and benevolent nurture when in reality I suspect she is cold, demanding and calculating.

    • Not so odd if you were raised in the South. Sure, I would sound all mature & everything calling him “Dad,” but then he’d tease me & my automatic response was always “Daddy!” Sometimes complete with foot stomp. LOL

      • tuzentswurth says:

I am middle-aged and call(ed) my parents, mom and dad. I am the youngest of three daughters. My oldest sister calls my dad “daddy”, called my mom,” mom”. Middle sis used mom and dad too. When speaking to others , I think we all say , my mom or my mother, my dad or my father.

  5. boston02127 says:

Kelly’s tweet—being friends with someone who has serious issues is so hard. wear love, and hope they will be selfish enough to be strong. Love

Kelly Beensomeone, Seems you’ve been pretty selfish all your life, what’s with your serious issues? Also, if you “wear love” all the time why don’t you have a husband or any girlfriends?

    • Olivia says:

Kelly manages to put the “twit” in Twitter. Senseless babble just gushes from that empty skull.

    • dumberries says:

Lol Boston. Kiki never learns. “Selfish” is a word my 9 year old nephew has no trouble using in context. But Kiki things selfish = strong. Serious issues indeed..

      • Olivia says:

I love it when Kelly shoots out her “lectures” to the rest of it. Makes me feel less guilty for missing Mass on Sundays.

    • Kat says:

Kelly is showing insight into her friend’s trials and hardships as they embrace her despite her serious issues! Uh, wait… what friends? And Kelly is incapable of self awareness or empathy.
      Nevermind.

    • Squirrels says:

I not only had to read that quote twice, I had to shake the cobwebs from between my ears. Is Kelly promoting selfishness? Is she equating selfishness with strength?

I feel my college education slipping away every time I try to make sense of her ramblings and I still owe money on it, dammit!

      • Squirrels says:

She needs to put down that bottle of booze.

        • Kat says:

I thought you wrote she needs to be put down. 😉
          Freudian misread on my part?

          • TrillianAlice says:

You know what I think from reading it a few times. This love concept of hers is needing to be selfish and loving yourself first.

            • Kat says:

Yep, wear your selfish love (she wears hers on her sleeve). 😉 Charity anyone?
I get the idea you have to love yourself first, but Kelly grasps concepts differently than the rest of us. Who can know what she really meant? 8)
              I’m cynical.

    • Ellabean says:

You know she is coming out with a T-shirt “wear love”.

More on that phrase – I am thinking she STOLE it. In the late 60’s, English singer Donovan (“They Call Me Mellow Yellow” ) , had a song or did a commercial that went like this: “…wear your love like heaven”. May not make sense – but it was actually charming. I think it was for Yardley cosmetics – quite popular when I was growing up.

My hunch is Kelly heard this somewhere – and as usual, Kelly Xeroxed in her head as her own thought -up phrase.

  6. I can’t follow any of the posts on the previous blog. Just in case it got “lost” somehow, I am reposting the link to my new blog chapter.
    http://duchessofdryerlint.wordpress.com/2010/08/22/two-firsts-at-once/

Also just want to restate (again in case it got “lost”) how much I love this blog and the community on it. Lynn, you have the gift! Not just to write (that one is obvious) but the gift of bringing people together and making them feel comfortable. Cyberspace is a fairly anonymous venue, but I feel like I know all of you, and you are friends! Look at how many of us you have inspired, Lynn, and how we felt safe to stretch our own little wings in the writing world because we truely trust the people on this site! What a wonderful gift. What an incredible woman! Thanks again!

  7. Melinda says:

I don’t always comment but I ALWAYS love the blog!! I read every one! I think you may be on to something with Teresa/Caroline. I was thinking the same things as we watch what Teresa says or how she says it……..certainly she isn’t TRYING to be considerate to a “friend”.

as for Juicy Joe, I think he should have done community service…….more so than losing his license…….people drive without licenses all the time, but if he had to do community service, he would HAVE to do it.

Kelly is the most unaware and vapid person I have had the misfortune to watch on television and see tweeting!

Jill is continually full of crap and frankly she needs to use some soap to CLEANSE her mouth!

    • dumberries says:

      Agree on all counts!

I don’t think Teresa knows how to try. Effort or personal growth don’t seem to register with her. “Gimmee gimmee gimmee” is what I imagine running through her hollow head at all times….

    • MAMAZ says:

Teresa has come down with Jill Zarin Syndrome.
JZS is a serious condition in which a person appearing on a reality show actually starts to believe they are on television because they are beautiful, talented and have some deeper wisdom than “regular” people. In it’s mildest form they can be productive: writing books, doing guest appearances, etc. As it progresses the JZS sufferer even feels superior to their cast members some of who(whom?) were close personal friends before the onset of JZS. The patient in this stage becomes a compulsive liar, has been known to commit criminal acts of fraud and is often libelous. They sometimes display violent tendencies. The final stages of Jill Zarin Syndrome include paranoid delusions, nonsensical ramblings and a complete break with reality.
      Other noted sufferers of JZS
Stage 1 JZS – Viki Gunvalson, Ramona Singer, LuAnne deLesepps Caroline and Dina Manzo (possible genetic predisposition?)
Stage 2 JZS – Jill Zarin for whom the syndrome is named, Lynn Curtin, Gretchen Rossi, Tamara Barney, Alexis Bellino, Ashley Hodges
Stage Three JZS – Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Danielle Staub

      • dumberries says:

JZS – it all makes sense now! I assume Teresa is a full-on stage 3 sufferer. Any cure in sight? Public humiliation, unpopularity and bankruptcy don’t seem to alleviate JZS symptoms.

        • MAMAZ says:

Yes Teresa is in Stage 3. While Stage 1 sufferers can recover it is unknown if Stage 2 can. It might be possible if they quit their program and withdraw from all social media. Sadly there is no cure for Stage 3.

    • Melanie says:

I’m of the mindset that the Judge maybe thinking it is a service to the community by not having Juicy Joe unleashed on the community. I can’t see him “GIVING” back to anything, much less “serving”. That would be cruel and unusual punishment to those in the community who do volunteer work.

  8. Zipit Zarin says:

Thanx again for your blog, Lynn! We are so spoiled (ok I am) that you sum up what’s been happening out there in HW world so well!! I’m everso grateful and don’t take you for granted. You handle trolls with graciousness AND an iron fist. It’s amazing to see and I’m jealous I don’t have such skill. I tried to Twit but just can’t get into squeezing a thought into such a tiny space. It reminds me of chat rooms on AOL when I went there years ago and that was bad enough. Plus I’m old and don’t want to learn a new trick. There, I said it. LOL Anyway, that is why I appreciate you and everyone else who takes the time to bring that world here. I get the benefits without the work!

Mwah Mwah Lynn, and allaya 😀

P.S. I seem to come and go randomly cuz my wireless goes in and out randomly.
So maddening. Plus when I sign on at my nanny job everything depends on when the baby is sleeping and whatnot.

  9. Wall St Lady says:

I watch South Park & some kid dies every episode & reappears on the next episode. Its a joke mayb sick but funny to me. I am re watching 6 feet Under which starts each episode w/an unusual death. Death is sad but 6’Under is entertaining. My point is these shows r not banned. I think as long as we couch our “mean/sick” comments as a joke or dream m;; they r ment to entertain & bring laughter. I LOL & WSM feels excluded so I stop & share & he gets joy too. We all know Lynn didn’t wish death on GM Gruntie. But mayb for the sake of visitors we should say some version of this is a joke (like for any idiot who doesn’t know me) ; this is a joke. Mayb that’s too much work but I for one as a joke would like to think of ways Trasha’s mouth could b damaged for life.(She tries to open a tomato bottle w/ her mouth ha ha) I am definitely of the school of don’t get mad get even. But I do it w/my mouth & make light of something I am up set w/ This has definitely helped me b successful on Wall St.

For instance I have MANY ways to hurt Bernie Madoff. Oh just kidding !
“Please don’t hate me because I’m beautiful” haha

    • Zipit Zarin says:

LOL I think it takes some intelligence to have a sense of humor so when *they* don’t get it they are showing what little brains they have. 😛

    • Melinda says:

LOL, they always “kill Kenny” on South Park!! poor Kenny! hahah

    • Kat says:

      I loved Six Feet Under.

If I seriously intended harm to anyone or anything, A. I would not post about it to the web. B. If I did post I would say it was a joke.

New people posting critisisms or derogatory statements/accusations are often trolls. Not always but often.
Most lurk and decide if they want to participate and then don’t make nasty first posts. Any lurker has to get the humor we share.
Regular posters sometimes disagree but in a respectful way.

      I killed Kenny!

    • I prefer Ivana Trump’s version: Don’t get mad. Get everything.

  10. Zipit Zarin says:

    Didn’t @GingerZarin appear before @Grandma Wrinkles and @AlanasCat ? zzzzzz

Whoever did it needs to have an original thought.

  11. jezzibel says:

I had a thougt this morning, Teresa was a pretty offensiver person, but has anyone noticed since that tidbit in People or whatever rag it was, about Joe canoodling with someone younger, Teresas has gone from offensive to REALLY OFFENSIVE, I wonder if the rage she supresses about her husbands extracurricular affairs are starting to manifest itself in otherways, add in the stress about the bankrupcy(which might not matter so much in regards to Joes supposed wandering), and she’s lashing out right/left/center.
She could be looking at Caroline and Albert and be pissed that she doesn’t seem to have that happy connection(they were the best thing about that trip to Italy), which might explain her digs at Caroline, she’s jealous.

    • Zipit Zarin says:

      I think you’re right.

      * “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned”
o The correct quotation is “Heaven has no rage like love to hatred turned/ Nor hell a fury like a woman scorned.” by William Congreve in The Mourning Bride of 1697.

      • Ellabean says:

Wow – I went to high school with a Billy Congreve. He was pretty cute. Didn’t realize he was so poetic.

    • boston02127 says:

@ jezzibel–Yes! I have noticed that with the Ewok family. Teresa makes it a point to be all over Joe more so than ever lately. Even when he’s acting like a rude pig she’s still all over him like he’s a god. (shiver)

      • TrillianAlice says:

If anyone re watches the scene when Teresa flips the table, when Joe gets to her, he puts his hands on her neck to hold her back. It looks like a choking move, has anyone ever commented on that?
I think they have a wild marriage.

        • MichellefromNY says:

I just watched it now and she gets all worked up when Danielle says to her, “pay attention”. Really Teresa? you can’t handle when someone says to you pay attention? That’s worthy of freaking out and flipping a table?? Pure trash. She’s a childish idiot who if someone criticizes in any way she’ll lash out as any child would–screaming, crying, and throwing things.

I also saw that she went crazy about Danielle F-ing around. Insecure about Juicy much?

    • RIerinFL says:

      I think you’re right too.
Also, the fact that Caroline isn’t robbing Peter to pay Paul like T and J are could add to her jealousy. T must hate that her money situation came out and everyone now knows she is a poser and a conman.

I can’t wait to see Caroline take a turn ripping Teresa apart. Afterall, she has to know more about her than we get to see!

      • Olivia says:

Not going to happen. The “glue” of this show is the family “friendly quality” they have chosen to present. Fake or not, there is little reason to suspect that they will turn on each other since we have sat through 2 boring seasons of “defending the family” theme that Bravo encouraged.

Now that Dina has managed to push the “love” of those bonds through the christening, they will need to find another nemesis that seeks to invade that “thick as thieves” sanctuary. My one hope is that Juicy Joe decides that he has had enough of his unsavory life displayed for public consumption and pulls the plug on the Guidice’s involvement.

Of course that would suggest he has some commonsense left which is a stretch in and of itself.

        • Ellabean says:

Thought the same thing: now that Dina is godmother to T’s 4th baby, Caroline is biting her tongue even more – because it is almost like a family connection – especially with this crowd. I’d like to think that Caroline will have “words” with T off TV out of public view.

        • RIerinFL says:

Ugh…say it isn’t so. I really want to see Caroline stop making excuses for this twit and call her out like she would if it was anyone else.

  12. plainviewsue says:

THANK YOU FOR ALL THE TIME YOU PUT INTO YOUR BLOG!!!! I absolutely love it and you seem to write what all the rest of us are thinking!!

I absolutely despise Teresa. As much as I hate Jill for all that she does and says, I really think T has won the title of worst housewife ever. She is the definition of narcism. Everything revolves around her. She thinks she’s beautiful (honey, you are NOT!). Keeps people waiting for her because they should just be thrilled that she’s allowing them her company.

Her comments about Caroline……I tend to agree with your theory. For whatever reason, Caroline doesn’t call her out on anything. I am no fan of Danielle, but she had no problem on coming down on her for stuff that happened long ago. How about the fact that Joe and Teresa cheated companies, people, etc. out of $11 million???? Joe in a horrendous accident, and he doesn’t have to do community service cos he convinces the courts?

I heard in the reunion Teresa (classy Teresa!) tries to attack Danielle. I truly cannot stand her.

Anyways, keep up the great work Lynn!!!

  13. Wall St Lady says:

WS Man said my Trasha comment was POOR. He said Trasha, when giving oral sex to Juicy should get “lock jaw”!

  14. Olivia says:

What these “ladies” seem to lack is a defined sense of humor. Danielle, Teresa, Jill, Ramona, Lu Ann, Kelly, Dina, Jacqueline, all take themselves very seriously and what they object to is that we don’t. Thus “haters” become their battle cry when all it is is that we don’t view them in the way they prefer to be seen.

Bethenny, Alex, Sonja, and even Caroline do enjoy a sense of humor and pretty much exhibit that playfulness in their rapport. Caroline, for all her flaws, does seem to get a kick out of her kids and their antics and Alex’s book displayed a keen sense of wit when dealing with the absurdities of handling kids.

I think what drew us to Bethenny at first is that we could laugh out loud at some of her comments but she was quite able to see that at times those comments were piercing. Somewhat like a Kathy Griffin approach. But the others want us to see them as spiritual, amusing, fun loving, and beyond reproach when they are none of the above.

When we hold the pin that makes their balloons burst they become “combative”. We all see through Teresa’s claims of the wonderful mother and housekeeper and see her for what she really is. A lying, scamming, indulged, violent, scuzzy pain in the @ss.

    Ouch!!

  15. Wall St Lady says:

Trasha & Kelly DON’T know how to laugh at themselves because they have low self esteem.

    • Quincy IL says:

I think we should look at Kelly and whisper, “Edie Beale.”

      • dumberries says:

Perfect analogy Quincy. I watched Grey Gardens on HBO and thought Drew Barrymore was excellent. I can totally see the similarities between Edie and Kiki.

        • Quincy IL says:

Wait till Kelly’s kids fly the coop. No more child support. No money and grandiose ideas. It won’t be pretty.

          • KirksvilleMo says:

Edie had real talent and got stuck in time.Help me here with the similarities.Other than kookoo.

            • Quincy IL says:

Edie was creating fashion out of the things that she had in her home. A scarf became a skirt. She wore a mink coat all year old and for decades. She was a poser in that she said that Joe Kennedy wanted to marry her and was always jealous of Jacqueline Kennedy who she followed and tried to copy.
She never combed her hair or took a bath. She collected animals… The list of similarities between Kelly and Edie are endless…

They both had big houses in the Hamptons…. see… lots.

  16. RIerinFL says:

Lynn, thank you so much for creating such a wonderful place for people to gather! Your blogs are always a great read and I am in awe of how well you can articulate your thoughts. You have surely been given a gift.
I also have to agree with you concerning the expert researchers that post here. This blog (and everyone on it) is the best!

  17. Olivia says:

Believe it or not I found some women out there dumber than Trashley!

Hot summer, little energy, so I was scanning the tv dial and lo and behold, another “reality” series devoted to “Prison Wives”. Yep, they managed to squeeze one more demographic into the “reality” mix and came up with a group of delusional, purely simple minded women, willing to expose their lives and children to the nation as they relate their “love story’.

Most of these lunkheads seem to be married to men serving life sentences. Usually that indicates “murder” but that does not seem to effect these losers who tell us that they have finally, after years of searching, have found their “soul mates”. We see them cutting every corner economically imaginable in order to send their “soul mate” money for his cigs, candy, and treats as they go without. Of course these women also maintain that the “love of their life” is innocent on all counts and seem to be working feverishly to get them sprung. Lord help us all!

So if anyone is still questioning whether or not Ashley is the dumbest cluck to appear on tv, or even if Kelly is the most irrational, one needs only to view an episode or two of “Prison Wives” to determine that the landscape is littered with these people making the crown “up for grabs”.

    • Kat says:

This has to be symptomatic of a disorder. Ugh. Delusional is right.
      No self esteem.

    • boston02127 says:

Olivia—One night I couldn’t sleep and clicked on to Comcast On Demand to see what was on TV. Prision Wives! I had never heard of the show before and ended up watching a few episodes. Shocking! What a bunch of needy (sick) women, their lives literally revolve around their prison husbands.

      • Olivia says:

I need a life! This heat has kept me indoors for much of the summer and the boredom is driving me into watching trash tv.

I am pretty close to an “intervention”.

        • kats2 says:

I think we should look into a group rate for some 12 step program.

          • Quincy IL says:

How about Jackie Warner helping us. Season Two of Thintervention: the Lynn Hudson Support Group. I went to bootcamp last Dec and have been in it ever since. I even ran and worked out with my niece who is in the Navy when she visited. It is fun, but you sweet a lot.
I was amazed that my 57 year old double chin melted away and my physical trainer said it was because I was gritting my teeth a lot.

            • Kat says:

“my physical trainer said it was because I was gritting my teeth a lot”
That’s funny. I like your trainer.

      • OneMoreinBoston says:

I know a “prison wife” . I always though that she was in it because this was a guy who is “safe”.

He’s never going to get out, so the wife can direct all of her time and energy into a faux relationship because she can’t sustain a real one.

She has the legitamacy of a marriage while still being technically single so therefore does not have to compromise or negotiate the way real wives do.

He will never call her out on anything because the gravy train is over-so she has the control.

    • KirksvilleMo says:

Oddly enough I am on a MB called Prisonbid. At first glance you would think these women are needy and delusional. But in large part they are hard working educated(or are in college)caring and even intelligent women. It seemed to me the biggest draw was both in needing to be needed and the satisfaction with the love of being in love with none of the everyday interactions,if that makes sense.

  18. kats2 says:

Nettie – mother to Caroline and Dina is know on twitter, that’s just asking for all kinds of trouble. I wonder if there is another HW Mother/Daughter book in the works? Their parents seemed very sweet and normal based on the 5 minutes of TV time. But you know with the loving comments will come the bad, specifially when Dina is out there trashing so many people. This family sure has the fame bug up their ass.

    • kats2 says:

Now not know – I need more coffee!!! Sorry for typos and errors.

    • boston02127 says:

      Lol–let the games begin!

    • Squirrels says:

Still, the woman is 73. Unless she is Norma Desmond, Dina should not have publicly posted her tweet name. It’s trouble looking for disaster imo.

      • kats2 says:

I agree Squirrels – not a smart move and they could make it private. I have no plans on posting to Nettie.

But Dina should watch out. That Granda Wrinkles tweeting she is doing just shows what a thug Dina is and like her BFF Chewy these classless broads (Jac and Ashley included) are ready to fight. This is what happens when trash marries money and they are not getting the respect from their husbands.

    • dumberries says:

Nettie should give Gloria a call before she lets Dina use her to promote her image as a loving daughter. Throwing your mom and your Wrinkled Gradma out to the masses shows no regard for them whatsoever. No wonder Lexi’s dad pulled the plug! I think Dina hopes that people will pick on her mom so she can play the outraged wounded princess and do pull her martyr routine, again. Just like she’s doing with That Darn Cat…

      • Quincy IL says:

Lexi’s dad might have watched the episode where Dina remind her daughter of the dangers of a vacation with dad in Greece. That was a whopper.

        • TrillianAlice says:

I looked at the Mom’s twitter site and she is already naming a company she wants us to use. Where she gets her art supplies.

      • WindyCityWondering says:

Or Dina may be hoping for an account full of light and love….saying how much folks love Dina (Caroline and Chris) or a recipe exchange or trying to include a new demographic of followers.

  19. boston02127 says:

I think that maybe Jacqueline is the underlying trouble maker when it comes to all the women on the show. Jacqueline was good friends with Danielle. It wasn’t until the end of the first season that Jacqueline decided to side with her family and Teresa. She’s defended and included Danielle many times against everyone’s wishes. Jacqueline was also the one who pushed Teresa to invite Kim to her party. She allows herself to get sucked in to nasty gossip based friendships. (Danielle & Kim) She’s weak and dumb but Teresa is dumber that Jacqueline. Jacqueline would have the upper hand in that friendship. Teresa is the only one that Jacqueline would have the upper hand with, not Caroline or Dina. Jacqueline was also known to hit Caroline. Caroline (as usual) explained away on TV that it was nothing. I doubt she likes Caroline. I don’t think Jacqueline would think twice about talking about Caroline or Dina to Teresa. She complained to Danielle about her in-laws. She’s all over the map with friendships, I think she’s sneaky & a trouble maker.

    • Zipit Zarin says:

She HIT Caroline? What the….. Sheesh, these women are living up to the mafia stereo-type in so many ways. You’d think they’d try to dispel those “rumors” by their behavior instead of the other way around. And yes, I think Jaq is a sneak and a wannabee. The way she stood there staring at Danielle in the car gave me the heebie jeebies. No wonder Ashley thought it would be ok to put her hands on Danielle…her mother has done it. DO tell about the Jaq hitting Caroline thing please.

      • Olivia says:

I remember that reference to the “punch” on the reunion show last year.

It seems that Jacqueline was exhausted right after she had CJ and requested Chris to stay home and take care of the baby so that she could get out of the house for a few hours. When she got home Caroline was there and “all up in her face” about leaving the baby. A screaming match ensued between Caroline and Jacqueline and Jacqueline “punched” Caroline on the arm.

They made light of that on the reunion show and insisted that all had been forgiven but it did show that at one time there was some serious issues between the two.

        • Zipit Zarin says:

Thank you! I kinardly watch this show so I miss a lot.

          • tuzentswurth says:

Me too, and I’m finding I can watch even less DC. By the sounds of OC, I don’t think those bimbos are going to keep me entertained anymore either.
This blog and you wonderful people keep me entertained.
Soon, I envision Lynn will be the only person who watches these shows so she can write these wonderful blogs for us!

      • Jen says:

It was mentioned on reunion – after Jacqueline had CJ and her and Caroline fought and then Jacqueline punched her….

I agree before show started I don’t like Dina and Caroline liked Jacqueline….. Or do that much, more just respect her as bro wife

        • Quincy IL says:

          slightly off topic…

Jacqueline wanted her husband to babysit. I can actually understand that I think that Caroline was wrong to get involved. You don’t see Chris holding the second baby often either.

Now think about Cat on DC. What was she thinking when she told her husband that she had been home with two little girls and 3 dogs? It’s her kids for goodness sake. He’s supposed to watch her girls? Come on. He’s not the bio dad. It’s nice if he will help her, but that is her job.

          • Bosandi says:

I thought the same thing. At some point Cat was a single mother b/f she married this guy. How’d she manage her life then?
Seems like she just wanted him to be home since he’s away so much.

Guess she now has to cope on her own since they’re now divorced. How do single parents cope…build a network of support, nannies, friends, etc.

      • boston02127 says:

I’ll try and find a better link to the story. While searching, each time I typed in the word assult with their names Ashley’s names comes up. I typed in “Caroline Manzo forgives Jacqueline Laurita” and found that Bravo link.

        • kats2 says:

OMG these losers are even more messed up than I ever imagined. Tie all this together with the excuse Caroline gave as to why the way Joe was disrespecting his wife and kids in front of everyone. Remember Caroline said, it’s love – “you fight because you love each other”

What a crock of shit! These people are vile pigs even when compared to Danielle.

        • Zipit Zarin says:

          Thanx boston! You guys rock!

        • Bosandi says:

I thought the whole thing was idiotic. Caroline had no business sticking her nose into their business. So she deserved whatever she got and Chris should’ve gotten an earfull or fistfull too.

Some people/families feel that the father is incapable of caring for an infant. I have an aunt who had a fit b/c her son was alone with the baby and needed to get over there asap. WTF? You make the baby, you take care of the baby, period.

    • Olivia says:

Allowing Kim G to even enter her yard, let alone her front door, explains a lot about Jacqueline.

After knowing how duplicitous and treacherous Kim G is she still invited her in because she was anxious for the dirt Kim G had to spread around. A normal person would be very wary of any connection to Kim G especially knowing that she was still friendly with Danielle. Accompanying her to the courthouse, throwing a birthday bash, sitting alongside Danielle at the country club, driving her to the Brownstone, all enough reasons to be very leery of this woman whom you discover standing on your doorstep and for what possible reason?

Jacqueline spreads the gossip. It seems to be her primary function. In her own quiet and less assuming way she is a bad as Kim G as a sh*t stirrer.

      • Zipit Zarin says:

Yep, hiding behind the “I’m so sweet and innocent.” Reminds me of the movie Raise The Red Lantern. I love Chinese films. Specially anything with Gong Lee. Woot! If you get a chance to rent it, do!

        http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0101640/usercomments

“What is extraordinary about Zhang’s direction is how easily and naturally the personalities of the characters are revealed. The first mistress (“big sister”) is too old to be of any sexual interest to the master, yet she is the mother of the eldest son. The second mistress, who has given the master only a daughter, still dreams of having a son. Her devious schemes and plots are hidden by smiles and fake good will toward her sisters. <—–Jaq

        • Olivia says:

I love Zipit Zarin! I also love Gong Li and that movie was fantastic!

At least this illustrates that “reality” tv is not all we watch.

          • Zipit Zarin says:

oh yeah Gong Li not Lee duh

For sure it’s not all we watch. If it was I’d be seriously depressed and on suicide watch lol.
That movie has stayed with me forever. I own it and rewatch it ever so often. It helped me grow up about being so naive about people. It’s a tough balance…not cynical and not naive. It’s still a work in progress 😀

        • OneMoreinBoston says:

          OMG I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!

It is very thought provoking the way that the Chinese society before Mao is portrayed as pitting women against each other to curry the favor of the one influential and important man. And how they lose their own inner lives and in one case their sanity in the process of this competition.

          Hmmm…?

          • OneMoreinBoston says:

Interesting line (at least to me) from the movie review:
“The real horror depicted here, though, is in the brutality used to maintain the system, not in the polygamy itself. The women who follow the rules and beget the master’s children, especially if they are sons, enjoy a pampered and secure existence Those who do not are dealt with severely, branded as mad, or even murdered. Note the similar experience of the wives of Henry VIII, for example, within the English system of serial monogamy.”

I have also though that the animosity towards Danielle is because she does not conform to the old world views and morality of the cast members, so she is villified.

            • Squirrels says:

Hate to tell you, but even if you were a fisherman in China, men would tie the boys to the boat so they wouldn’t fall off. Girls were not tied. If they fell off, they racked it up to bad joss (luck) and didn’t go after them. Now days, with the one child family law, girls are still either murdered at birth or sent to orphanages. No family wants to have girls. They are an expense, even to get them wed. The Chinese culture is very strict. Emperor, Town Lord, Father obligations, in that order. Someday when it’s quiet, I’ll tell the story of my four aunts sent back to China from Boston. Took Awpaw (grandmother) 10 years to find them.

          • Zipit Zarin says:

Who was really a friend of whom was amazing, no?

The scene in the snow being carried to the tower…haunts me. So quiet and so evil.

    • kats2 says:

@Boston I agree. All she is an older version of her daughter who is also a big trouble maker. Jac just doesn’t giggle as much and is smoother in her approach of how she is messing with people. I still don’t think Dina and Jac are friendly or at ease around each other.

    • RIerinFL says:

From watching the show, I thought T was closer to Jac than she was to Dina. It surprised me that T made Dina the godmother. It made me wonder about her alterior motives.

I too think Jac likes to stir the pot. I’m sure she has a lot of interesting stories but won’t tell because of her husband. I’m hoping that Caroline rips into T and T starts to share some stories that Jac may have told her.

      • RIerinFL says:

        oops…ulterior not alterior!

        • TrillianAlice says:

Did you read my comment somewhere on one of Lynn’s wonderful blogs. I think Teresa pick Dina for the money.

          • RIerinFL says:

I may have even been in the convo if it was recent!
I was really shocked because I am Catholic and part Italian and know that if you don’t choose a family member as Godmother, you choose someone your really, really, really close to.
I stated down thread that I think she could have chosen Dina to have a rock solid Manzo family connection.

    • kats2 says:

@Boston – I forgot about the hitting part. I just posted that these broads are classless thugs, this is just more proof and see they have more and more in common with Danielle, it’s crazy! They should all be BFF’s and in a street gang together. I wonder how many more physical fights have happened, it’s a big closet bad history just bursting to explode.

      • Olivia says:

And the fact that they have no qualms about going off in public suggests that this behavior is not uncommon within that circle. The language alone out of Teresa’s foul mouth, and that of Kim G as well, also suggests that these “classy” women are quite comfortable in performing their “schtick” whenever and wherever it suits them.

We all recognize Danielle for what she is but these two, and primarily Teresa, show an apt tendency toward violent behavior. Violence towards others does not always have to be manifested by a physical confrontation. It can be verbal as well and these women do not hide it.

    • TrillianAlice says:

Yes, I think Teresa after hearing Jac talk about the family and now how Caroline acts like their Moms sometimes, Teresa is getting fed up. Hence the bad comments. She has done it with being late and now on this Italy trip. I still think Caroline likes Teresa more than Teresa likes Caroline. Caroline has that duty to perceived family.

I, also, think Dina was chosen as Godmother for all the goodies little Audriana is going to receive. If Dina bought all those fur jackets for the Italy trip she is a wise choice for Teresa to make. Her family is probably sick of the money and gift demands.

      • Squirrels says:

“Caroline has that duty to perceived family.”

Valid point TrillianAllice. And as I haven’t seen you, welcome to the group.

        We be friendly cannibals. 😀

        • Kat says:

          Is “friendly cannibals” an oxymoron?

        • TrillianAlice says:

Hey thank you. I realized I have been rude. I just jumped onto here and started giving my opinions. So thank you for the welcome.

I think just reading Lynn’s tweeets made me feel comfortable enough to just jump in. Oh no I am as bad as the Salahis. Shush, I used the catering entrance.

        • TrillianAlice says:

Thank you for the welcome. I realized I put the reply under Kat’s, so this is going to look confusing. Sorry.

      • Kim Grandmatell says:

Absolutely. I mentioned this on the Television Without Pity blog and got my face bashed in, but I hold tight to the conviction that these woman (ha) weren’t really that tight to begin with. Caroline didn’t know about the first dance that Gorilla in the Midst of Bankruptcy and Drunk Ass Joe have with their daughters, Dina didn’t know that Ashley had moved out….

These self entitled women just hang together in their mutual hatred of Danielle. Next season should prove to be very interesting.

      • WindyCityWondering says:

Dina is the perfect “godmoney”, because a godmother is supposed to help you grow in your faith – catholism in this case and she all crystals and zen. And if Teresa is so old school then the godparents have to be relatives…..just saying

        • RIerinFL says:

Godmoney..perfect! I also think she wanted to have a tie to the Manzo family and Jac can be divorced from the fam while Dina is a part of the family.

  20. Jen says:

    ? about Joe’s arrest-

Was he found guilty of DUI or did he plead guilty? Because if he was found guilty he should respect the sentance, be a man and do it. He should be honored to service the community and just be thankful he didn’t kill anyone. If he plead guilty my question is why if he claims to be innocent? So either way he is being a cry baby

In Ohio if your license is suspended for 3 things you automatically lose it, and hasn’t his be revoked like 20 times- plus isn’t this his 3rd DUI? Again in OH jail time and yellow plates on car indicating ur a 3 time drunk driver NJ is sick….

Wonder if Caroline and Al ever raised funds for Juicy’s judge?

    • Olivia says:

And remember how Caroline was supposed to have discovered Danielle’s filing of charges against Trashley through some “connection” Albert had at the courthouse? Interesting.

      • I don’t think there was any special “connection” there. It’s a small town. Everyone knows each other. It’s more likely that one of the women with Danielle told a friend who told a friend who told Caroline. Caroline might even have found out from her son who is friends with Kim G’s son. I doubt that was inside information. They probably knew days in advance that she was going to be in court.

    • Rabble Rouser says:

I have no idea why the new judge reduced the length of time of Joe’s suspension and waived his community service requirement.

      http://www.state.nj.us/mvc/Violations/dui.htm

Joe’s original sentence was within the statues and guidelines. While it is in the high end of them, I think it was reasonable given Joe’s less than stellar driving record and that the Judge obviously believed he was lying to the court.

I think there is a story to be told as to why the new Judge accommodated him and gave him the most lenient sentence possible.

Here is to hoping Joe get’s caught driving with his license suspended- and gets the book thrown at him.

I can’t wait to hear what anyone hear has to write about it and it might give some inside scoop to how they work with these losers but I will pass on watching it. Maybe one person here can watch and report back???

        • Squirrels says:

“Not that this show renders an entirely honest picture of the process. It’s obvious in just a few minutes that “Spin Crowd” has been sanitized, prettified, glamorized and oversimplified for the benefit of the celebrities who appear on it as well as the celebrity-obsessed viewers of E! In short, it depicts the real world of celebrity publicity about as faithfully as those happy California cows depict dairy farming.”

Enough said. We already know they D Listers are completely sanitized.

Anyone else here think that Jacqueline from RHONJ kind of looks like a warthog? Or at the very least, half pig? Ashley seems to as well, IMO..

Thankfully CJ looks like a Laurita and appears to be one of the best people on the entire NJ franchise…

  24. Amber...Real Wife says:

I never once thought of Caroline as “classy”. That she may have more common sense and restraint, in her actions and clothing, than her other castmates is only obvious. However, i’lll attribute that to her age, upbringing and life experience. Criticizing, blackballing, bossy, anti-social, with sayings of “tick as tieves” “ga-bage” etc, don’t epitomize class. Maybe if you say she is the classiest wife on RHONJ, that’s true. But Caroline Manzo as classy… that is up for discussion.

Before I read TerribleTree’s blog, I commented how wonderful it was that Theresa was abusing Caroline, on the Italy trip. Since then, Theresa calls Caroline who is sick with kidney stones, crabby, even though she watched her kids while she had a nooner.
She has said that Caroline should have stayed home and should not have expected a romantic trip for herself and Albert. GOOD FOR YOU CAROLINE!!! She continually defended this corrupt moron and now she and her daughters are sytematically bullying her! First her daughter tried to slap her, now Theresa is giving her a smackdown. Had enough? She needs to stop defending that grifting whore and treat her with the same disdain that she reserved for Danielle.

What did Caroline say…”Hang with garbage and you start to stink”. Well you have gone from smelling like a rose to looking like shit!

    • MAMAZ says:

I don’t think Caro is classy either. And she doesn’t seem very bright to me.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Caroline is the most restrained of the bunch but if she continues to defend these morons then she is definately the ass in classly.

I wonder if the cleanse Kelly gave Sonja was a re-gift. I don’t know why that popped into my head. It seems odd to give someone a cleanse as a gift especially if you don’t use it yourself. I’ve never re-gifted anyone. It’s cheesy. Velveeta cheesy.

    • Zoey says:

I’ve regifted, and I think it’s a great thing to do. It’s like recycling! If it’s something nice and still new, I say why not? It’s a personal choice.
I would never give, or regift, a cleanse. That’s just odd, but it may be true. Why else would Kelly say she’d never use a cleanse but then give one? Oh yeah, because she’s nuts.

LOL–I don’t mean this as a snark either, Jill looks just like her aunt.

    • dumberries says:

The aunt is way cuter than Zarin – she looks like a sweet lady!
BTW: How is her aunt’s name Gloria too? Can’t be her mommy’s sister (unless her maternal grandparents have a really odd sense of humor). Must be her dad’s sister.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Damn! I have that blouse….guess it goes in the charity box now. Hope Jill sees her future face lol.

      • MAMAZ says:

WindyCity – I saw a photo of JZ in a sweater I have. It came from Victoria’s secret. Not exactly a high end store, lol. So if Jill Zarin is so FABULOUS why is shopping at the same stores as us little people?

        • Quincy IL says:

I have noticed that some dresses are in high end and low end. I bought a dress in the Dress Barn for 29 dollars and later saw the exact dress from the same design company for 129 on sale at Nordstroms. We have gone to some stores in New Hampshire that had New York City designer fashions on sale for a pitiance. I guess designer clothes go to New Hampshire when they are put out to pasture.

I think this tweet is directed at Teresa. Kim G. annoys me but she also makes me laugh with her crazy tweets. She is doing everything she possibly can to convince Bravo to cast her as a “Housewife”. I think she wants to take Danielle’s place as the villian on the show. LOL

She tweeted yesterday about someone telling her that Danielle was in Target and Bed,Bath & Beyond near where she lives and Kim G guesses that Danielle has moved.
These women are too stupid and trashy for words.

        Kim G’s tweets:

If Kim G. is gonna take on Teresa I may just become a fan!

          • Quincy IL says:

She’s Jill Zaring us with her money.

            • Rabble Rouser says:

I have a sneaking suspicion her money is about to run out. I have a hard time believing that her estranged husband’s business is the only one in the entire US that hasn’t been effected by the economy.

I also think divorce might be looming and this is why she now feels the need to strike out on her own financially.

Last season, Hairy T splashed money around like there was no tomorrow and pretended like she wipes her butt with $100 bills- but in reality she can’t even afford two-ply toilet paper. The Alt and OC housewife’s are just as bad in their ‘pretending’. I don’t trust Kim G at all and her claims of wealth.

        • RIerinFL says:

I don’t know anything about twitter….Can Teresa see these? Has she been tweeting anything back?

          • Earring Girl says:

Teresa has not tweeted since 8/20/10. I am sure her “love, love, love fans” are missing her.

            • WindyCityWondering says:

Joe and Tree are busy today hiding more of their valuable stuff from the auctioneer and trustee…..so no tweeting while thieving.

            • RIerinFL says:

Thanks! Do you follow her, do you know if she has had a period of not twittering before?
I just can’t believe that she would let Kim G get away with trashing her. Maybe I’m just bored and would like to see the two of them go at eachother verbally.
              Maybe, I need a hobby!

        • Squirrels says:

“$1000.00 boat on wheels? My haircut and highlights cost more!! ”

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Way to go Kim – she is listening to what people are saying about T!
I don’t think she ever liked Teresa (the way she dresses and talks, etc) but she hit the anger management and polite, civil way to converse early on with Jacq.

    • Rabble Rouser says:

Kim is so desperate and lame, she can’t even come out with her own insults.

  31. Char212 says:

Hi everyone! Just got home from a week of fishing with family and am trying to catch up.

Have read all of this weeks blogs Lynn and 5 stars all the way. I haven’t read any of the comments yet, except for this one, you guys are a chatty bunch:). I’m sure there is well over 1000 and much information I’m missing out on.

New Jersey disgusts me all the way around but T and Danielle are the worst for me. I don’t feel a bit sorry for Danielle. I do feel sorry for her daughters though. Teresa has a rude awakening coming when her girls are teenagers. I almost hope they will still be filming when that happens. Jac, Caroline and Dina doesn’t impress me one bit. Dina thinks her sh** doesn’t stink and has a nasty nasty attitude when it comes to anyone who criticizes her but feels it’s perfectly okay for her to give an opinion. I can’t stand people who are two-faced and those women are all like that.

I’m still on the fence with DC as it’s been pretty boring so far. I haven’t see last weeks episode but from what I’ve read I haven’t missed much.

Okay, going to try and catch up on some of your comments from previous blogs. Hope I can catch up before tomorrow night lol.

Thanks again Lynn for you wonderful blogs and giving us a place to get our frustrations out lol. I love that we can comment without worrying about going off topic if and can discuss anything.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Welcome back! Are you having fish for dinner???

      • Char212 says:

Sadly no, caught a lot but not big enough to keep.

        • Squirrels says:

The journey is the excitement, which ends up a great memory. That in and of itself is the joy.

The fish you let go feel that way, too.

          😀

          • Char212 says:

So true Squirrel 🙂 Watching the grandchildren having fun and seeing their smiles was the best and most joyful part for me.

I’m sure the fish are pretty joyful as well 🙂

  32. OneMoreinBoston says:

I wonder if Kim G. got a Bravo email that Theresa is the new victim if Danielle is off?

    • kats2 says:

every tweet from grandma ass crack is directed at chewy and while I love it, the $$$$ bragging is over the top. I thought her house and the way she dresses is all very tacky. Once again nothing to envy.

      • Earring Girl says:

I agree – LOL – now she is talking about some $80,000.00 chinchilla jacket that she did not have to borrow from Kim D. I guess the coat that Tre had on at the country club was borrowed. To be the age of these women and all have children they are just like Jr. High School = S.T.U.P.I.D!

        • Quincy IL says:

Gosh, Kim G is Danielle before the divorce with that special credit card. I think she’s going to get a come uppins when her husband from whom she has separated gets and eye and earful. I think he needs her not. We could be watching the beginning of Kim G’s end too.

      • WindyCityWondering says:

it hit’s Teresa exactly where it hurts the most….Kim’s got it and Teresa wants it.

    • icantstandthetoxicity says:

I think Kim G. liked Teresa until she made the “elderly” comment. Ever since that episode aired, Kim G. has been taking shots at Teresa on Twitter. She also knows that if she starts a “feud” with Teresa, it may help her in her quest to become the latest “Housewife”.

      • TrillianAlice says:

I was thinking the same thing, that elderly comment really bothered her.

      • WindyCityWondering says:

a thought…..what if Kim is trying to get Teresa off the show before the next season? If Teresa did anything stupid or violent we know Kim has deep pockets and isn’t afraid to sue her…..Kim just really seem to be baiting the batbrained bimbo and we know Teresa is very sensitive when it comes to her castle and it’s contents….just a thought.

  33. jezzibel says:

I wonder if Caroline and Jaq’s relationship has improved because the show does’nt so much revolve around Dina. I can very easily see Dina egging her sister to get on Jaq’s case about being friends with Danielle. In the begining of the season Jaq talked about how close she and Caroline have become since the birth of (can’t remember his name) “She and Caroline”, not “she and Dina”, or “her, Dina, and Caroline”.
When they were eating together in that stranger house(one of Joe’s extended family)on the Italy trip, I think they genuinly got on at that point, and more or less have been without Dina being in the thick of it. No mistake I think there were issues between Jaq, Caroline, and Dina…but I think alot of the issues can be laid at Dina’s door

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Caroline has been quietly reeling Jacq in to the family way. After the country club incident – Caroline and Jacq were both critical of Teresa’s behavior. Jacq is responding to Caroline because she knows that Teresa and Joe are going to go toxic real soon and she can’t be there when it hits the fan.

      • jezzibel says:

Makes sense…I think it was mentioned a few blogs back that she and Chris had good standing in the community(the daughter not so much).

        • RIerinFL says:

I like Chris. I watch him during the scenes with T and Joe and his facial expressions say so much!

          • WindyCityWondering says:

he can’t get the look of what the hell is going on here?! off his face – would love to play poker with him lol

    • Quincy IL says:

If Danielle is gone, Dina and that cat will be back.

  34. Wall St Lady says:

Ok remember Jack(A$$) was discovered by Chris 16 years ago in Las Vegas & Tommy saved Grandma Grunt’s mommy from a nail salon.
(Also Salami discovered Missy at the makeup counter at a department store). I honor all us working girls but I despise “housewives” who improve their social position but suddenly forget where they came from & look down on everybody.
You can take the chicken out of the coop
but u can’t take the poop out of the chicken !

My grand mother all ways said “Pretty is as pretty does!

Ok so I think Daniels behavior is NOT Pretty but at least she isn’t a hypocrite.

    • Kat says:

Spoiled and entitled. As if money alone makes one a better human than those without money.

    • Quincy IL says:

I think Danielle is a hypocrite.

      I looked at the word.

      hyp·o·crite   /ˈhɪpəkrɪt/ Show Spelled[hip-uh-krit] Show IPA
      –noun
      1. a person who pretends to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc., that he or she does not actually possess, esp. a person whose actions belie stated beliefs.
      2. a person who feigns some desirable or publicly approved attitude, esp. one whose private life, opinions, or statements belie his or her public statements.

Danielle goes to mass, talks to her priest, and sends the kids to Catholic School, then she releases the sex tape, sleeps all over town with married men, and tells Danny to bring weapons to a meeting with Caroline.

Massive hypocrite…. at least that is my opinion.

  35. Zipit Zarin says:

So I was in the kitchen making lasagne when my 14 year old son walks in from the livinig room and says, “Wow, I want to see that Housewives of NJ where the girl that looks like Jake from “Two and a Half Men” fight with the one that looks like Michael Jackson.” funny.

  37. Olivia says:

Not that she is not capable of starting a “flame war” for no other reason than “just because” but it is kind of suspicious that Kim G is picking now to go after Teresa. I can think of only two reasons:

    A. Teresa has blocked Kim G somehow for being asked back to that awful show and Kim G doesn’t much like it. Especially since she went to so much trouble to get on.

    B. Or she is just setting up the next season whereby she steps in to take the place of Danielle by “weaseling” her way onto the series and assuming the role of antagonist? (A part she could play blindfolded.)

It just strikes me as odd (like anything they do is normal) that she would engage and enrage Teresa’s followers by stooping to this level. One day she is extolling her “love” for Teresa, the next taking shots at her via Twitter. Puzzling.

  38. Wall St Lady says:

    I stand corrected.

    • Kat says:

But you stand among friends. 8)

    • Quincy IL says:

I change my mind after reading our friends’ posts here all of the time. It’s a friendly discussion. Lots of people read and still stand their ground. No one minds if someone else has a different thought. I enjoy your posts and consider you a friend.

  39. Olivia says:

It is more than likely that we have all met some version of Kim G in our lives, whether it be the neighborhood wag, the office snitch, the rotten relative.

The neighborhood wag made the rounds, constantly bragging about her home, possessions, kids, whatever it was that came out far ahead of whatever it was you have. She spreads gossip from door to door as she always comes hand in hand with some home baked goody that gains her entry and allows her to size up you at the same time.

The office snitch brings presents to the boss, kisses ass, and generally smoozes anyone they feel can boost their position through unearned flattery and fake smiles. They are masters of the “who me?” defense when caught out.

The rotten relative brags and gossips about other members of the family and pretty much spreads discord at most gatherings. They do this by smiling, flirting, and offering backhanded compliments and are usually more concerned about your finances then you are yourself.

Kim G could easily fit all categories.

  45. Just watched the preview videos on Bravo … Danielle talked to her lapdog, Danny the Fierce, and they both decided that Caroline put the others up to everything. Danielle made the comment that “they (all) are not that sharp.”

I like Caroline, and I think she of all of them was the one to truly try to keep away from Danielle. I think that she discouraged any possible contact with her, except that Ashley was walking in the fashion show and she didn’t think her mother should be kept away from that event. I also think that anyone with Danielle’s face who casts aspersions on anyone else’s intellect should consider how they could allow a doctor to mess up their own face like it is.

I think of all of them, Caroline is the sharpest. Danielle would probably be next. Jacqueline would come in 3rd and Teresa would sadly bring up the rear. Which is why it’s so easy for Danielle to push her buttons.

    • Scorpiosue1102 says:

Caroline is definitely the sharpest knife in the NJ drawer. She can definitely see through people. You can tell in the last couple of episodes that Teresa and her lack of parenting skills or being a decent human being is getting on her nerves.

Now the meet up with Danielle. I’m really hoping that something happened that would necessitate Caroline to sit down with Danielle. I don’t want something staged. My newest US weekly did say something about Teresa having some kind of meltdown or something to that effect. I guess we’ll see tomorrow.

    • Sha2000 says:

I find Jacqueline dull but do think she’s smarter than Danielle. Danielle’s grammar is mixed up; plural & singular, present tense versus past tense, she hasn’t a clue and uses it incorrectly each time. She seems to use tone in her voice as if she is speaking correctly, but she has no grasp of the basics. PLUS, she seems to read people incorrectly as we’ve seen…no, not the sharpest tool in the shed.

      • Quincy IL says:

I thought about this quite a bit. There are all kinds of smart. My farrier never went beyond 7th grade, but when it comes to horses, I think he knows as much as some vets.

Danielle might not speak English correctly, but she seems intelligent to me. When speaking to her children, she can come up with a list of synonyms in the blink of an eye. That shows that her mind has organizational skills.

My guess is … Danielle has some kind of stunted emotional development that has lead to this paranoi which is very real to her. Not going to a sandwich shop that you like because you might see Jacqueline? Something is very wrong with that.

Danielle survived in an environment of crime and drugs. I’m not sure I could have survived that. I think she has street smarts. She can see where she will be successful and she goes in that direction. Marry Tom Staub, get hired by Bravo, go to the gay community for support… Good choices… Intelligent choices.

        • Sha2000 says:

“My guess is … Danielle has some kind of stunted emotional development that has lead to this paranoi which is very real to her. ”

Right Quincy, (I was going to add to my post something similar but I was called by my daughter), I still think you give her more credit than maybe be due towards her intellect.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

While none of them are truly high school graduates – the way they talk and the words they don’t know how to use shows us that English was a class they paid little attention in. a person who loves education continues to learn their whole life and they stopped in high school.

IMO, caroline fell on the sword over the book at the salon incident – i really believe dina brought it, jacq knew it and caroline claimed it….you are not supposed to argue with caroline period! This last (finally!) episode will set the stage for the reunion verbal smackdown complete with the familiar hold teresa back crap…zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

      • MAMAZ says:

I don’t think Danielle is smart but I do think she’s cunning.

        • Quincy IL says:

Cunning is a form of intelligence too.

“Marked by or given to artful subtlety and deceptiveness. 2. Executed with or exhibiting ingenuity”

          Ingenuitiy comes from genius.

I don’t believe that you have to have multiple graduate degrees to have a form of genius. I have known gifted mechanics (my own father) and gifted farmers. Some people just have a knack for doing certain things. Idiot/Savants can do complicated mathematics or play the piano, yet they cannot communicate with words.

My daughter has an undergrad neuroscience degree from Brown and I read all of her text books because I have a fascination with the Human brain. There are so many geniuses out there. They are not all rocket scientists, but many have gifts.

    ……………
‘Real Housewives of D.C.’ season 1, episode 3 recap: Hey Michaele Salahi, get rid of your husband!
BY Joanna Sloame DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITER

I seem to be sleeping really well on Thursday nights and I believe it has something to do with the Ambien-like effects of “The Real Housewives of DC.” The lack of intonation in their voices makes me feel like I downed an entire bottle of Virginia Chardonnay, and these housewives need to learn that catty remarks are not whispered at a dinner party, but shouted across a flipping table.

The DC ladies are frankly just watered-down versions of their “Housewives” counterparts. Michaele and Lynda are the two most interesting characters, but even they are like cheap knockoffs of over-medicated Lynn from “The OC” and no-holds-barred Caroline Manzo of “New Jersey,” respectively.

But I digress. So Stacie and her husband Jason, who somehow find the Salahis tolerable, invite the vapid couple to the Sugar Leaf vineyard, the only African American-owned vineyard on the East Coast. After arriving in their trademark white limo, Michaele and Tareq try to talk politics. While Tareq can at least put together complete sentences, Michaele seems to just string words together aimlessly while smiling like a buffoon.

“I think he [Obama] is all about bringing us all together and letting go of [pause] and there will be those mindsets an that’s what makes up the world and we’re all different…. He tries to pull everyone together. The red and the blue to make it the red, white and blue.”

Say what?! Somehow, despite that nonsensical babble, Stacie and Jason still want to spend time with this abhorrent pair, inviting them to Paris to see Jason’s brother Adam in concert.

“Be careful what you wish for,” warns Tareq. “We are known to just spontaneously go somewhere.” So basically they take up empty invitations. I bet they can’t distinguish sarcasm from sincerity either.

At least Lynda’s on my side here. She can’t stand Tareq and his marionette of a wife, and thinks Tareq has suffocated Michaele’s “beautiful soul.” I’m frankly surprised Lynda doesn’t tell Michaele’s soul to go eat a burger and fries.

But just when I thought Lynda was the sane one, she proves she has just enough craziness to make for good TV. While discussing Cat’s upcoming book, Lynda scoffs that she could never write a book.

“First of all, I’d never write anything down in my life because I figured that’s something that could be used against me some day.” I can’t wait to find out what sorts of skeletons are in this skeletal woman’s closet.

So what exactly is Cat’s book about? In her own drawling words, her masterpiece is about “falling in love with my husband and I fell in love with a married man…. Hilarious escapades, I mean hilarious. Inappropriate lovers. Really inappropriate lovers.” So inappropriate, her own husband is ashamed to read it.

Needless to say, this is not a book on ethics. I can’t help but recall “Real Housewives of Atlanta” Nene Leakes’ words of wisdom to Kim Zolciak: “Close your legs to married men.”

But the best line of the whole episode has to be when Mary and her husband Rich are out to dinner and fondly recalling Tareq’s dramatic sword fight with the champagne bottle at Paul’s birthday party. “It was like hunting with Dick Cheney,” Rich quips. Touché, Rich, touché.

Meanwhile, Paul’s publicist informs him that the Salahi’s lawyer called and wants a signed document saying that they were not paying a dime for his birthday party or they wouldn’t show up to Ted’s party that night. Um, say what? Didn’t they host that over-the-top shindig? Paul is understandably shocked, as are the rest of us. Team Paul!

But what makes this whole thing even more ridiculous is that apparently at Paul’s birthday, Tareq came over to a group of guests and said, “I hope you’re all having a great time because I spent a lot of money on this party.” We’re onto you, Tareq. Blackmail doesn’t go over well, especially when nobody actually wants you at their event (Hint: The Obamas).

At the party, it seems like Tareq had some of what Michaele was drinking, as he’s babbling worse than his wife trying to talk politics. “I’m sponsoring the South American World Cup Cirque du Soleil!” he exclaims excitedly.

But not content to just play mix and match with geography and sanity, Tareq decides to make everyone gag by discussing Lynda’s favorite topic: Michaele’s weight. “She gained at LEAST 20 pounds in beautiful places after we met. Some people make fun of Michaele not eating, but you know what, she has gained weight ever since she married Mr. Salahi here!”
“Mr. Salahi!” Michaele echoes faithfully in a singsong baby voice.
Lynda’s take: “Get rid of your husband.”
Hey Bravo, how bout getting rid of them both?

Hilarious. The few Salahi supporters out here. Lets review posts made by others who aren’t as big of fans: “Why is Michaele even on tv after what she has done, Bravo will do anything for ratings.” “Is Michaele on medication? She’s so ditzy all the time. Is that even her real name? Where do people come up with a name like that?” “Tareq’s a socially challenged moron. It really i…s painful and embarrassing to watch he and Michaele make complete fools of themselves each episode(okay, I admit I’ve watched all three…so far). I love all the rest of the ladies, and they are certainly fun and interesting enough to watch that we don’t need the Salahi’s, and their ostentacious, pathetic desire to draw attention to themselves” “Michaele was much more down to earth when she worked the make up counter at Saks Fifth Avenue in DC before marrying Tareq.” (Remember Michaele is a self-proclaimed makeup artist) “Bravo has lost me as a viewer. No one who illegally enters the White House” Te

Such glowing comments for the self-proclaimed star. Actually Tareq seems to get more negative comments than you. Too bad he is so controlling and has you wound so tight. Most seem to think you would do alright if you dumped that loser. But alas, he needed your skirt tails to get on TV. Crashing the White House would have only been 15 minutes for him but with his RHODC trophy wife (I know…it is all relative…just look at him)he made it in. Has Hef called. Oh wait…you are the self-promoter..I’m sure you got the call into him. Sitting by the phone waiting for a plastic surgeon to call offering to make you into your DD Barbie so Tareq has something more to play with? Be careful on that stripper pole.

These people are delusional; they offer to throw a b-day party for Paul, invite loads of people and then pull out of paying their bills. Michaele’s a manic; Tareq gives me the creeps. They are typical social wannabes, using people around them but having no substance themselves. Man, I wish I were a fly on the wall when Michaele had it out with Whoopi!!! Michaele’s a PHONEY!!! However, I don’t think her weight is an issue…just her brain-dead status.

For the uninformed here, “JenniferS” is one of many alternate screen names of Missy, a/k/a Michaele, Salahi. Missy always opines, When she goes on-line, How the Salahis are really so great! But please be assured, It’s Missy at the keyboard, To post again, she simply can’t wait. [Calling herself ‘Susan’, ‘Lisag1’, ‘Mary’, ‘Deborah’, Katy0, SherylD, or ‘Morgan’, or “JenniferS”, etc.]. You might ask how can one tell? Well, it sure rings a bell, When the poster can’t spell, And the comments are so poorly written. Seems Missy is lacking, In basic punctuation tracking, And her grammar is quite atrocious. Perhaps she should look, At her old high school text books. Her comments are most surely precocious. And another dead give-away is the fact that her posts always characterize those who might criticize her as being based upon “hate” or “jealousy”; which would appear to be something written by either a “tween” girl or, if an adult, an obvious blithering idiot.

By the way “Brooke10” [is that you Missy or Tareq?]: I am sure very many people would be more than happy to “let it go” as you suggest, when the Salahis pay all of their many creditors for the very substantial debt they have incurred throughout multiple jurisdictions. Until then, I hardly suspect, especially when that couple is enjoying a delusional lifestyle in terms of designer clothes and shoes and riding around in limos and dining at expensive restaurants in Georgetown and travelling to Paris for a weekend and cracking open $1,000 bottles of champagne on national television, that any of the multitude of creditors who have been left waiting for payment are that likely to “let it go”. The Salahis brought their public scrutiny upon themselves by the own volition. Now it’s time to pay up.

Maybe I was wrong because I can’t believe that Michaele would be stupid enough to know that you do not use an apostrophe to make the name Salahi plural. Although, like Michaele says, “when people see me they think there’s not a lot going on there” which is so true so maybe she is that stupid. So here is a lesson on how to spell your name. When you want to talk about more than one Salahi just add the ‘s’ with no apostrophe. When you use an apostrophe it becomes possessive. You know what possessive means. It’s like when your chubby, unattractive, annoying husband controls every aspect of your life and pimps you out to become famous.

Now, let’s try the possessive form. Is that the Salahi’s white limo? See how that works. And the answer to that question is yes, that is the Salahi’s white limo. It is left over from another one of the Salahi’s (notice possessive again) failed businesses where Tareq started a limo service by skimming money off of his parents winery and now they drive around in it to look important. Seems his mother in court says he frequently skimmed money from the winery for his own use which is one of the reasons it is currently closed in bankruptcy. I’m sure he had good reasons like it was absolutely important to have an expensive sports car and a yacht to keep up the appearance of being rich and famous. Too bad the bank thought otherwise and as the repo man was confiscating them Tareq yelled that line “Michaele, get my gun” prompting a call to the local sheriff.

Looser = not firm, taut, or rigid: a loose tooth; a loose rein. As opposed to the correct spelling of loser = Slang . a misfit, esp. someone who has never or seldom been successful at a job, personal relationship, etc. So they’re telling the person that they are not firm anymore. *le sigh*

I think your idea is wonderful. My life, my son’s and our whole family has been devastated by a drunk driver. My son is finally out of the hospital and is now seeing a therapist for his Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Manic Depression. All caused by an asshole driving drunk. The bastard now is trying to claim that he wasn’t driving someone else was. That phantom driver managed to evade eyewitnesses and police who arrived minuets after the crash. And the bastard can’t seem to recall who it was who was driving. It is pathetic what types of excuses these amoral assholes can come up with. Joe and Teresa are shallow, greedy, unintelligent prick who have NO morals or scruples. It is pathetic enough that they try to manipulate the system in this matter and also involving their bankruptcy. It is beyond criminal that the judge in this case did this. This countries Drunk Driving laws and penalties are apathetic and every law maker should be ashamed. It is no wonder that there are SOOOOO many repeat offenders. The asshole who hit my son and his friends had 3 DUI’s already under his belt. How many children, mothers, fathers, family and friends have to die or be physically damaged for this to be taken serious? Drunk drivers don’t only cause physical damage but emotional, mental, spiritual and financial damage to their victims.
I thank God for the blogs Lynn writes and for all the witty comments posted here. They have kept me sane this summer. I haven’t had time to post a lot but I always try to find a moment or two to check this site.

I have to stop myself from over mothering and just try to be their for him if he needs anything. We moved him out of his apartment this weekend. The therapists and Psychiatrist thought it would be best that he not be alone for long periods of time. I’m trying to keep him busy. We went to “Michaels” and bought a bunch of arts and crafts for him to keep occupied with. He still has to wear a boot for his ankle for at least 3 more weeks. He can now use a cane for walking instead of crutches. That helps him feel more mobile. It will just take a lot of time to heal all of the wounds inflicted by the SOB drunk who caused all of this. Our first court date is Sept. 3. It will be hard to hear this prick try to worm his way out of all of this.

I have some experience with the Human kidney as my research for my PhD was in glomerulonephritis caused by B Streptoccus. Caroline’s kidney stones caught my eye when reading our discussions. The other thing of great interest was someone here noticed the medifast container on Caroline’s kitchen counter.

Kidney stones run in families. Some families have over active parathyroid glands. When something happens to the blood chemistry such as rapid weight loss the normal balance of salts, minerals, and water changes. Most often the stones that form in the kidney are calcium stones.

I glanced through a number of articles on the medifast diet for fast weight loss. There were some articles that noted the danger of the formation of kidney stones with the soy based diet called Medifast.

For the life of me, I don’t know why Caroline would have to go on such a restricted diet when she claim she only lost 15 lbs. That package could be Albert’s because he had a significant weight loss too. Chris, his son stated that Albert had a surgical process call banding which makes the stomach hold less food. I doubt a doctor would do the banding and have Albert go on Medifast.

People who have the tendency to form stones, need to be careful with calcium supplements. It’s a tricky balance, but slow weight loss with exercise probably would have made that Italian vacation a lot more fun for Caroline Manzo.

    • klmh says:

I am amazed you remembered seeing the Medifast container, let alone connecting it to kidney stones. Wow!

      • Adgirl says:

        Could Medifast be for Albert?

Totally off topic – Q About kideny stones, are they related at all to gout?
My ex husband had both. Our son developed gout at age 20 (and so do all of the men in his family, even his male cousins in their 20’s). The family is of Irish heritage.
        Just wondering.

        • Quincy IL says:

Many people have this run in their families. Kidney stones, gout, and gall bladder stones can be familial.
Diet, weight loss, weight gain … all can affect the gout condition. Your husband has the disease of Kings. Henry VIII had a huge appetitite for protein as well as women. Ben Franklin complained of pain in his feet which could have been gout (or osteoarthritis.)

I was on the board of a small museum in the early 90’s and we created an Egyptian Exhibit. We asked larger museums like the Chicago Museum of Natural History to loan us exhibit specimens and we were loaned a mummy. While I was researching, I learned that the mummies show us a long history of these stones and gout.

I think you should research the condition and consider teaching your children about diet and exercise. They will want to have a good balance and try to beat the genes. Thank goodness we live today and there are medications.

          • Kat says:

My dad has been plagued with kidney stones since his 30s. I was found to have kidney stones also 2 on one side and 3 on the other during an MRI or CAT scan for back pain. The scan was years ago and I’ve had both so I don’t recall which type, but I think it was a CAT.
Genetics is a blessing and a curse.

This is my note to MADD

Jo Guidice of NJ was given the most lenient punishment August 20 2010; for his DUI because Judge Philip Maenza ruled the prosecutor in Joe’s case had doled out stiffer penalties than Joe deserved because of his celebrity status!
I am part of a large blog ,LynnChicargo, and we have a voice you will be hearing from. I believe you could help us.
Jo Guidice drinks like a fish on TV.
I believe Jo Guidice, star of Bravo TVs “Real Housevives of NJ” ,should not be excused for drunk driving because he is famous. Just the opposite,as a celebrity he should encourage others to obey the law not sneak past it.
Please look into the DUI by Jo Guidice on the “Real Housewives of NJ. We need your help to save the lives of NJ folks from this menace to society.

RE: VOICING CONCERN – GUIDICE DWI SENTENCE

Thanks for rallying the troups Wall Street Lady.

I started composing a letter to MADD last Friday. It felt good to finish it and email it tonight. I hope everyone takes a few minutes to send an email. There is strength in the numbers. If nothing comes from our efforts, at least we voiced our concerns and it feels good to do the right thing!

    Send email to Rubi Solano:
    rubi.solano@madd.org

A few reference points that I needed to look up for my email; thought they might be useful for others:

    1. Accident date: Jan.. 14 2010
    2. Maximum sentence imposed in March 2010 by Judge Seth Davenport in Montville Muncipal Court
    3. Judge Philip Maenza overturned the maximum sentence on August 20 2010, on appeal. As a result, Mr. Giudice will get his license back in October 2010 (instead of next March) and will not serve community service (originally sentenced to 30 days).
    4. Mr. Giudice has 39 points on his driving record; has had a total of 9 years suspended license. Judge Maenza called his previous driving record “inconsequential”.
    5. On Jan 14, Mr. Giudice was drunk driving – he hit a tree and a pole. His car was totalled. He left the scene, did not call the police, and lied to the police and the court about being intoxicated while driving. Police suspected he did not call the police because he was waiting for his blood alcohol to diminish. He was taken to the hospital and was above the legal limit. He was charged and convicted of DWI.

@klmh—I was just reading the blog from the top down and noticed your comment to me. I posted this:

    Jill in 30 years. http://twitpic.com/2h8fnx
LOL–I don’t mean this as a snark either, Jill looks just like her aunt.

Your post to me—-Goodness, relatives who are not on the housewives shows are fodder for your type of abuse and ridicule now?

Abuse and ridicule? Did you not read “I don’t mean this as a snark”?
I posted that Jill is going to look like her aunt in 30 years! No doubt they look very much alike! What is abusive about me posting that? Ridicule? I don’t think so. If anyone is being abusive and ridiculing anyone it’s you towards me after guessing my “intentions”.

After others commented on your post to me, you then wrote—-
Oh puhlease, you know what her intention was and if not, let me tell you how it comes off to me. She is making fun and ridiculing this lady and of course making fun of Jill (Jill in 30 years). Why make fun and ridicule relatives that have no stake in these shows? And you’re right, “abuse” was over the top.

You said that I had “intentions” of ridiculing her aunt and of course making fun of Jill in 30 years. No hlmh, you’re very wrong. I posted EXACTLY what I meant. Jill looks like her aunt. Nothing more, nothing less. Next time maybe you should keep your own ridicule and abuse in line and not blind guess at what others intentions are.

    • dumberries says:

Boston, you’re cool. You clearly stated it wasn’t a snark at Jill’s aunt (nor even Jill). And, I didn’t see anyone suggest that it would be insulting for Jill to wind up looking like her Aunt Gloria – she’s cute. The only one that seems to have suggested anything derogatory about Jill’s aunt is klmh, by insinuating that it would be a bad thing to look like Aunt Gloria in the future.

    • cusi77 says:

      @Boston_ I am with you 100%.

@klmh_ This is not the first time you ridicule and abuse one commenter… you did that two or three days ago to “Olivia” (I couldn’t find it… sorry).
Lynn’s first rule to participate in this forum is to be gentle with each other, to respect each other. Let’s be nice and move on.

    • klmh says:

Nothing from you ladies surprises me. Rally round the troops girls. I expected nothing less than the gang mentality that unfortunately rears its ugly head on this blog at times. You bully and demean people who question or do not agree with you. You call them trolls if a person has an original or kind thought or word about these ladies. Some of you are unhappy in your life and you carry your thoughts and anger thru this blog by criticizing people you don’t even know, for heavens sake. I have questioned the jealousy theory since May when this blog began because I couldn’t understand why anyone would want to hurt and hate another with their words and deeds! when they are unaware of anything other than a few minutes of watching them on TV. As Olivia believes, this whole housewives series is contrived and is a sham. She mentions this on just about every blog and that’s why I asked her why in the world she keeps watching. If she believes that, why tear everyone of them down? If thats the truth, they are doing their job well, right?
To the few of you negative posters who have been successful in making some really great posters leave, I say to you, tough toenails cookies. Bully someone else who might care. I enjoy the vast majority of the posters here that give great information and thoughtful remarks and discussions to events relevant to these shows. I also enjoy Lynn’s blog and think she looks at both sides of an issue. I may not always agree with her but she makes some excellent points I may not have thought about and Im able to change my opinions with some good facts and observations.
Snark can be so fun to read, but it can be cutting and painful. Its not my blog, Im not the boss, and I mostly skip over your posts anyway. Foul language, poor writing and demeaning others, for the sake of, you know I still cant figure that out, don’t interest me. What saddens me most is the hate that is infused in your ladies posts.
Concerning this statement about Jill, your intention was and is clear. You are trying to make fun of Jill by pointing to her relative and stating that that’s what she’ll look like in 30 years. Are you saying this is supposed to be a comment or a compliment? This is one of those rare instances on this blog where its a given. Own it.

      • Olivia says:

Face it klmh, we come here to criticize these shows. You come here to criticize us. Big difference.

      • dumberries says:

klmh, we can agree to strongly disagree on this one. I’ve never been accused of gang mentality before (but ok), and I consider you one of the troops -all of us. We’re all just here to share. I stay out of most differences of opinion (like between you and Olivia), but this wasn’t a difference of opinion. This is about you emphatically telling us that someone else’s opinion and intention was the opposite of what she clearly stated – suggesting that she’s lying and you know what she’s thinking. It’s presumptuous and wrong for you to do so, imo. You made it personal. If Boston had done that to you, I would have responded the same way in your defense. I don’t feel that anyone here was “bullied”, but you can’t wrongly accuse someone of something bad (repeatedly) and not expect others to show support to them. I do believe that you should own that you were way off base here and took this too far, but you obviously disagree, so let’s I’d like to just move on in a positive direction.

        • klmh says:

You are right. I went too far last night. Had a build up and an explosion. Hope it won’t happen for another several months…
In my defense, I wish relatives of cast members not be a target in this blog. Its not fair, and thats enough from me today.

I just love it when people come on here to post their displeasure with one or more of us who comment about these phony “stars”. For one thing, the title of the blog more or less signals that we do not take these shows seriously, nor are members of some t.v. academy actively sitting back rating performances based on “talent”.

Most of the women who sign on for the opportunity to shame themselves by one means or another are no different than a “true talent” who is judged by their behavior both on and offscreen. When you put yourself out there you should be prepared to take the good with the bad.

For anyone to “take offense” at what they perceive is “negativity” by way of feedback I would invite them to review the variety of “Housewife” series and pay attention to any one of those “talking head” segments where one “star” critiques another “star” and they will soon discover that much of what we write is never quite as negative or insulting as the one whose head is framed by the camera and delivering the deadly blow.

The thing is to not take what we say as “personal” because the comments are not always laudatory. We reserve the right to criticize the “staged events” along with any other broadcast show.

@klmh a few days ago I was with my mom–a stranger walked past and said”boy you can sure tell you are mother and daughter.” I am 58 and my mom is 88.I think Boston meant family genetics. I took this stranger’s word as a compliment. I think Jill should as well, her aunt is a cutie patootie.

My advice to her was if she didn’t like my comments, scroll along; Lynn is the moderator period. Hang in, don’t let some one get under your skin, just keep enjoying the other 99.9% of the people here & continue to have fun : )

I personally saw nothing wrong in what you posted, and you are certainly more polite than I have been in recent postings.

I enjoy what you write, and am amazed and impressed by the amount of information you are able to dig up.

It reminds of when I get on the T and there’s a crowd of people. No matter what time of day or night, there’s one person in every crowd that has to appoint themselves the Hall Monitor, and tells people to push back when there is no room to move.

These self appointed, self important, faux authoritarian’s tone of voice is often officious and bossy. They seem hell bent on trying to force others to to obey their own internal set of rules that they have constructed for all of the other riders, but somehow don’t apply those rules to themselves.

Boston — this item, plus the real city housewife link that Squirrels gave us, paint an interesting picture of Kim G. I’ve weaned myself from the NJ Housewives on Mondays, but keep coming here to read the drama in a more lighthearted fashion. Kim G. seems to be just a pot-stirrer. That is what she brings to the table. I am no fan of juicy and tree, but honestly, bragging about her wealth in that way is almost as cheap and ostentatious as those two. But why? What dog does she have in the hunt?

On a side note, while reading those KimG tweets, an eerily family (gravely) voice was popping up in my head, almost talking through an i-mac auto-tune, “Money can’t buy you cl-ass, elegance is learned — my friend…” Weird.

      • Quincy IL says:

The girls parents need to save her from that beast. The Jeff Lewis lips are not attractive on any one. That man is a monster to force her to do this. He wants to deform her.

Has Jonathan Cheban looked in the mirror? He has one hell of a nerve calling anyone else homely, much less that adorable girl. He should be getting his whole face redone and having the fat sucked off of his hips.

Re: Patti Stanger on The Bachelorette, ABC would sooner do Karl Rove as The Bachelor. The woman is delusional thinking anyone wants to see that. But I’ll bet you she’s pitching an idea to Bravo as we speak to have some kind of “match the matchmaker” show on to find her a boyfriend. I was cracking up when she said her mother has been married three times. Wasn’t her mother also a matchmaker? Patti always says she’s a “third-generation matchmaker.” I guess the Mom isn’t too good at it either.

        • Char212 says:

Well that’s true too. The other wives are too boring to base a show on just them.

          • Olivia says:

A show can be interesting and entertaining without reverting to women trashing each other either verbally or physically. Case in point: Bethenny Getting Married. It can be done.

The NJ franchise has opened the door to physical violence and it appears that the cast of this series is more than content to provide that element as long as the ratings remain high.

The NY franchise has proven that the women are as eager to destroy another person’s reputation in order to remain viable with the hopes of being invited to return.

What was once proposed as a series covering women in higher income brackets who “share” their lifestyle on camera has become a production based on hate, envy, lying, fraud. All traits that bring out the worst characteristics in most of the women who agree to participate.

            • Sha2000 says:

A show can be interesting and entertaining without reverting to women trashing each other either verbally or physically. Case in point: Bethenny Getting Married. It can be done.

Yes but BGM has a lot of dumb moments that should be cut too! Waxing her belly; really? Peeing in a trash can! It’s only a matter of time before we are shown Cookie excrement.
              Must see TV!

              • Olivia says:

I agree that there were some moments that could have been excluded but the overall theme did not include violence or a wholesale verbal whipping of cast members.

Bethenny was targeting herself in most instances not choosing another cast member to mistreat or assault.

I am not saying that this show was Emmy material, only that it held our attention without reverting to a possible arrest or charges of forgery to get it through.

Re: physical violence on RH: Just for the record, HW Atlanta first featured the infamous wig pull: Sheree vs Kim. (It was a very special RHOA: Michael Lohan made a cameo appearance, much to Nene’s bewilderment: “Lindsay Lohan’s daddy? That’s so random.”)

Reportedly during filming of this season’s Altanta HW, there was a chair throwing incident in a hotel lobby.

Clearly, Ashley and Teresa will have to step up their game if they want to keep up with the Atlanta HW. (Which apparently they do. So classy.)

    Re: KimG’s tweets against Theresa

It is obvious she doesn’t like Theresa, and is intent on humiliating her. AWESOME!!
Theresa has long gone unchecked by others, and has assumed no one would ever take her to task. If KimG is to be a regular, the hate and drama between these two will not be imagined.

CaptainCaveman, (Theresa), has continually insulted other housewives across the franchises. Danielle, Bethenny and of course Sonja. Which brings me to the conclusion of Theresa’s jealousy about fame, infamy, money, success and sexuality.

She doesn’t want to share the limelight with anyone. It’s all about her. She wants all the fame, wants to be loved or if hated she’ll accept that too. She continually attacked Danielle as a whore, poor mother with a dirty house.
She goes out of her way to antagonize Bethenny and her fans, all the while trying to mimick Bethenny’s business style.
Then she went after Sonja, as a guest blogger, calling her a “crazy old whore”. At the time, fans were shocked at her venom against a new housewife. Now I see clear as a bell the cause was JEALOUSY! Sonja was being billed as they sexy housewife, a rich divorcee who enjoyed sex and loved talking about it. Theresa, in the midst of bankruptcy, automatically hated seeing Sonja’s lifestyle splashed on the screen. Her townhome in NYC was too much for her beady simian eyes. LOL Then when Sonja started talking sex, Theresa went ballistic. That was her shtick! She’s the one who constantly talks sex. Wanting, needing and having sex was part of her talking head commentary. Her and Juicy were supposed to be the sexiest couple of all the franchises, making her the sexiest wife. Sonja had to be taken down a peg or two, before she even got out the gate. Theresa is an awful, jealous bitch who will do or say anything to get what she wants.

    • cusi77 says:

Amber_ Agree with your intake about Teresa… That kind of jealousy is typical in puberty… she is so immature!

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Teresa is not satisfied to hog the spotlight on her show – she seems to have a need to be the Best Housewife Ever! So when someone like Bethenny or Sonja gets attention – Teresa gets mean.
Kim can run circles around the monkeybrow and I am happy to see her do so. She may be considered two face but I see her as present in the conversation with whomever she is with. She has empathy (unusual!) for their situation and actually seems to listen to them and while she isn’t buying into the everyone vs Danielle fued – I really get the feeling that she dislikes Teresa.

So I say this – Kim can bring it on and take Teresa down anyway she can with everything she has in her ammo kit. NY wants to keep it us vs them then Kim seems to be the one willing to build the them team.

    Good Morning Lynn! Hello everyone!

I have been reading the comments. Great links, thank you!

Check out this picture that Ramona tweeted – her and Christie Brinkley.

Thanks Boston upthread – for first linking a pic of Ramona and Avery. Yes, Avery is becoming a very lovely young lady. Ramona and Mario have done a great job.

On that link, I continued looking at some of Ramona’s pitures. Can’t quite explain it – but there is a general quality about Ramona’s tweeted pics that come off genuinely happy and enjoying life – a truw joie d’ vivre’ (pls forgive my misspelling of this). Her pictures do not wreak of self promotion or contrived set ups or gathering celebrities like material objects:

Ramona has the same “crow’s feet” around the eyes that I have, I just don’t have the cashola to get something done about it though 😛 Wonder when she’ll notice cause I don’t think she’s going to let that go for long

      • Ellabean says:

Yes and Christie is even a few years older than Ramona. I could imdb their birthdates – but I will do this from memory: I think Christie is about 56 and Ramona is about 52-53.

Christie just admitted to finally having some “work” done. I am not endorsing nor condemning “work” – just that Christie looks terrific and not artificial. She also lives in the Hamptons.

        • jezzibel says:

I don’t really have a problem with Celebs having work done, just so long as its age appropriate, not the whole 45 trying to look like 15, I think thats when it gets out of hand. But minimal up keep.

        • TrillianAlice says:

I remember Christie getting her eyes done in her thirties. I thought that was really young but she needed to stay young with her career. I think she is pretty and so is Ramona.

Teresa Guidice is the perfect illustration of a “Bridezilla” all grown up. Demanding, vulgar, greedy, uneducated, and lacking a moral compass. It’s an example of the “all about me” attitude that infects these women whenever a camera is nearby.

The “dumbing down” theory is exhibited by those who praise and defend her simply because she is on tv. In any other community she would be subjected to scorn and ridicule by her outrageous behavior and penchant for violence.

Well said! I also hate some of the now acceptable terminology on the show (& in this world) such as T calling Christopher her “bitch for the night” at the christening. Okay, lady-in-waiting won’t work but how about attendant or assistant? I don’t care how acceptable “bitch for the night” is, it is a disrespectful term period. I also hate when I hear “my bad”. Whatever happened to my mistake, pardon me or excuse me? This language combined with celebrated stupidity with shows like Jersey Shore (which I never will watch) & RHONJ only further dumb’s us down as a society. Yet I am riveted by the dumbness of RHONJ; ironic.

Here’s the NY Post’s take on the country club deal. Apparently it was Dina who set up the fashion show. Wonder if her membership was revoked?

“Management of a Garden State country club apologized to its members for allowing the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” onto their grounds, claiming it had no idea what the show was about.
“Housewives” cast member Dina Manzo staged a fashion show at the North Jersey Country Club in Wayne last November, and it turned into the backdrop for a nasty fight between rivals Teresa Giudice and Danielle Staub.
Giudice chased Staub through the swank club before the daughter of another cast member, Jacqueline Laurita, intervened and ripped out a patch of Staub’s hair extensions.
Club general manager John Stanley promised members that the “Housewives” will never be welcomed back.
“Being somewhat naive and not aware of the true nature of the TV show, permission was granted,” Stanley said.”

  93. TLM says:

Has anyone else noticed Danielle’s always calling her birth mom “my birth MUM”? What is that about? Does she think she’s British or something?!? It just irritates the hell out of me. This is a woman so dumb she says “lee-ser” instead of “lesser” and “condense-ending” rather than condescending, but now it’s her birth MUM? There is nothing more annoying than someone crass and vulgar who thinks dumb things like that make them look sophisticated. In truth, they just look dumber and more vulgar.

I apologize if this comment was already made by someone…the comments have gotten so long that I miss reading a lot of them.

  94. Olivia says:

Never thought I would agree with Danielle on anything, but she was correct to point out that Kim G never really did anything for her. Kim G was all about getting herself face time on camera and it mattered not to her how that was achieved.

She threw Danielle a birthday party, accompanied her to the Brownstone where she stuck pretty close to her the whole time, told her to get a lawyer to address the Ashley tweets which only helped to fuel Danielle’s always percolating paranoia, pushed her into attending the fashion show at the country club, was shown hip to hip with her in the scenes from Christine’s party, offered assistance in locating the birth mother, was shown arriving at the courthouse as moral support in the hair pulling incident. All done in the realization that she would be featured on camera.

In between these “friendly gestures” she was shown beating a path to the Manzo camp sharing tidbits of this “friendship” with the same purpose in mind. Danielle merely offered Kim G the opportunity to establish a foothold into this series and it was her duplicity that must have sunk her. Kim G wanted very much to appear in the Manzo camp and she used Danielle as a means to an end. It must have backfired since she is now taking shots at Teresa, the same woman she claimed to “love” at one time when she thought there was a chance to become another “star”.

We all know what “payback” can be. Rhymes with witch.

    • Sha2000 says:

I think Kim thinks her niche on the show is to find someone to bash, deserving or not. Maybe you have been right about her vying for a permanent spot on the show? If D is gone, so may the reason to have Kim on the show be gone too; friction w/T will create a storyline for Kim.

  95. AZ Girl says:

Bravo.com is down. It amazes me in this day and age that a website can be so messed up. You can barely move from one show to another without it freezing up. Long over due to have them clean it up. I guess they are to busy gleaning the comments being posted on the blogs. 🙂

    • Sha2000 says:

I’ve thought that too. The problems are recent & not all pages are linked properly. Site needs to be reworked.

    • RIerinFL says:

      cleaning comments ..rofl
You just know they need a whole team for that job!

    • dumberries says:

I don’t know if the site hiccups are due to gleaning comments (could be), but I still can’t believe how many positive comments appear each day under Teresa’s blog. Definitely selective posting by Bravo. If you go to any other site featuring a story about her, you have to search to find one positive comment on her behavior (or that of Juicy).
