I Hate Jill Zarin Real Housewives of Atlanta Preview September 29, 2010

Just five more days until the Real Housewives of Atlanta graces our screens again with the wig wearing-chain smoking Kim, big loud mouth NeNe, failed fashion designer and selfish Sheree, missing-in-action dull but lovable Lisa and extremely talented but allowed Kim to sing, Kandi.

Season Two of RHOA opened with 4 million viewers, the largest audience Bravo’s ever had for any program and the five ladies are the reason why. I admit that I’ve not kept up on what these ladies have been up to over their hiatus but thankfully HD so generously offered to share her insights with us.
Thank you HD for this GREAT preview!

My goodness. It seems like RHOA has been gone for so long. This is the only Real House Franchise my husband will watch with me. I thought it was about quality time with me then I realized he just wanted to see some juicy T & A. I gotta admit, this is a nice looking group of women as most of the Real Housewives are.

Where do we begin?

Let’s start with Deshawn-I Throw Fundraisers That Don’t Make Any Money Snow…yes I know she has long been off of the show but I had to share this tidbit. Apparently she and her husband have divorced. Why you ask? Didn’t he like bankrolling her expensive hair weaves, ridiculous projects, maids and facilitators of the house? Didn’t he enjoy buying her a Rolex watch for her birthday that she couldn’t wear out because she was wearing gold and apparently this watch was set in platinum? Well apparently not, Eric has ditched his wife for his former high school sweetheart that he hooked back up with at a Class Reunion. Remember how Deshawn said that Eric wanted a little girl since they have three boys? Well, he finally got his little girl. Just not with her. His new girlfriend and I am sure soon to be wife, gave birth to a little girl. Since then Deshawn’s house has been sold in ATL and I guess she has the benefit of knowing she will be collecting alimony/child support checks which should be pretty hefty since she herself said, NBA money is guaranteed money. I guess that is only guaranteed when you are an NBA wife.

Lisa-I Start Shit and Pretend like I Am innocent Hartwell- She has left the show. She sites “creative differences” and that they wanted to her “bring the drama” and that was not her character. Personally I will not miss Lisa. She and her husband are working on various projects- read nothing.

Kandi-I Am the Only Normal Person On This Show-Burress- after the tragedy of losing her ex-fiancé in a street fight that some claim was a sickle cell related death, I am still unsure, she has thrown herself into her work. She is slated to go on tour with Fantasia Homewrecker Barrino and she sang the National Anthem at an Atlanta Hawks game. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqtTahT5nnM

Kim-How Stupid Do I Look Saying I’m Engaged to a Man that is Already Married-Zolciak has decided that she is done with Big Poppa. She has a new “hit” (read piece of crap song) out called Google Me. If anyone likes for their ears to bleed you can purchase this wonderful song on Itunes October 6. Kandi was not involved with this song but DJ Tracy Young was, who Kim coyly pretended was her girlfriend. Kim is a big user and will suck the chrome off a car if she thought it could do something for her. Also she recently had her nipple lifted and repositioned. Really, I can’t make this stuff up! And she got in an accident on a water slide and tore the stitches around the nipple because who doesn’t go down water slides after having your nipple readjusted? She had it fixed and now she can continue to use them as flotation devices.

Shree-Shit by Shree-Whitfield-Say it ain’t so. Ladies if you have not gotten your hot Shit She by Shree outfits you can consider it a loss. I know! What are the faithful followers of Michael Kors and Herve Leger going to do without her clothes to grace the runways of New York and Milan? Calm down ladies! She has ditched her clothing line because she claims, “Atlanta doesn’t support her endeavors” and if she was somewhere else surely her clothes would have been on the cover of Vogue. Who gonna check me boo? Apparently Atlanta. People have been sporting Shit by Sheree T-shirts throughout the city. And quite honestly, I love it! Apparently Sheree is going to focus on an exercise tape which in all honesty would be good for her. Her body is SICK! I don’t know why these women don’t play to their OBVIOUS strengths! Forget the designer clothing line, come out with workout wear and your exercise tape. I am sooooooooo curious how Shree will treat the new women since no one is allowed to look any better than her. I mean did you see the New York Sky Scraper Painting? It is obviously Sheree’s world.

Bringing us to the new women of the group….

Phaedra-I Am A High Priced Attorney That Married A Convict-Parks. To be honest when I look at this man it is obvious why she married him. He looks like he puts it down and many women will set aside morals, beliefs, goals, whatever for a man that can make them scream like Xena the Warrior Princess in the bedroom. Now let’s be clear…according to Phaedra, he is not a “criminal, criminal”. He is a White-collar criminal. Johnny Cochran is turning over in his grave. She says he was involved with “racketeering”. Seems like we have a little lipstick on a pig going on here. Looking at him, for some reason, and yes I am being judgmental, I just do not see him cooking the books at a Wall Street Firm or anything like that. I am sure it is not as “innocent” and white collar as she would have us to believe. Trust me.

Cynthia-I Am A Supermodel Why Am I On This Show-Bailey. After being the runaway bride, at appears that she has finally been captured. Which apparently NeNe decided to make about her. What else is new? The wedding of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” newcomer Cynthia Bailey started and ended in drama. The Saturday nuptials in Atlanta to restaurateur Peter Thomas was held up for 45 minutes by cast mate Nene Leakes, who barged into Bailey’s bridal suite and demanded her hair and makeup be done. Kim Zolciak then got into a tiff with her blond boy toy, who “was checking out a hot redhead while puffing a cigar. Cynthia seems pretty normal. Here is her website: http://www.cynthiabailey.com/

Really Nene. Hair and makeup? Somebody help me. It is not even your wedding.

Which brings me to Nene-I Got A New Nose-Leakes and the reason she is probably ready to ruin someone else’s wedding. Her marriage is in SHAMBLES! You haven’t heard anything until you hear Greg Leakes going off on his wife and her involvement in the show. The audio speaks for itself and I will let you enjoy it.

(This link may be dead now since Greg issued a Cease and Desist order in regards to playing it.)

(This is his statement of apology.)

He ripped NeNe a NEW ONE!

This was a HUGE set up because Greg did not know he was on the phone and being recorded LIVE! It was lo down and dirty but because he didn’t know he was being recorded that is why he was so candid.

NeNe’s marriage has been plagued by rumors of infidelity on NeNe’s part. She has been linked to NFL Player Charles Grant which she denies. (Which is good because he just got indicted for involuntary manslaughter for killing a woman and her unborn child)

On the Wendy Williams show, Wendy noted that she was not wearing her ring and NeNe said she is still married but having problems and when Greg starts acting like a husband she will put the ring back on. Let me break it on down here. Fame has gone to Nene’s head and her waistline. NeNe thinks she is the hot ticket in Atlanta and the most popular housewife. Which she used to be until she flipped out last season and made EVERYTHING about her! Give me a break. Lo and behold Kandi stepped on the scene and NeNe was plagued with jealousy that she could not contain. Nene went wayyyyyyyyyyyyy down in my book and honestly I do not even like her. I would hope for some redeeming qualities this season but I don’t foresee that coming. I see more diva-like behavior, more this is all about me, etc. etc.

By the way… Her and Dwight get in a HUGE fight. I mean a fight, fight, where stuff gets broken. He spoke on it a little bit was very evasive since we have to watch the show. You know things have gotten bad when she is fighting with Dwight of all people. Speaking of Dwight, the other gay hairdresser (I think Derrick) has moved on to host his own show, Hair Battles on Oxygen.
You can hear Dwight talk about the fight here:

So there you have it. This is all I have found out those far. Same Shit different day Show.

Thanks Lynn for letting me give my wrap up on what has transpired thus far. Looks like we are in for more drama!

Saundra who I met on Twitter offered to share her insights as well, Thank you Saundra!

Saundra added this blog:

Whew! LisaWuHartwell(Mrs. Ed) is out of the lineup this go-round, and it took two new wives (with actual, current husbands) to replace her.

Phaedra Parks Is a renowned lawyer whose celebrity client list has included the former Mr. Whitney Houston, singer, Bobby Brown.

Cynthia Bailey is a former model who has graced the pages of various national magazines. She also rocks a mean Kentucky derbyish big brim-a feat not easily accomplishable.(For some it always reads- sombrero)

From the teaser commercials Bravo has released thus far, we can safely assume that NeNe Leakes ( my favorite twitterers of the bunch- 156,484 follow her as well) who seems to travel and self-promote extensively, and her “gay husband” hairdresser and style maven, Dwight Eubanks, may just possibly be frenemies” (at least for the first episode)

While nothing is written in stone, (or even rich, red, Georgian clayish earth)

He is rumored to have been spreading her personal financial business all out, about and throughout Atlanta Well we all know from that old shampoo commercial, they tell two people, and so on and so on.

As for Kim Zolciak, whom I credit (read BLAME) for the other housewives franchise members copycat singing efforts, I have yet to hear her latest single, I will say, that I find it curious that she is the only member of the Atlanta group whose younger children frequent Twitter. (disclaimer-that I am aware of)

Kandi is enjoying a successful resurgence of her singing career. Side note I predict some mention of her former group member ( in Xscape’s) Tamika (Mrs. T I) Harris née Cottle, unfortunate arrest.

I’ve not yet seen SHE by Sheree(Whitfield) at any red carpet events, but staying on constant watch for that, and setting ALL my various clocks for this coming Mondays’ premiere of the new season of RHOA and in the interim, very much enjoying reminiscing as Bravo recap previous episodes,

Thanks for the great blog, we’ll see the real dirt starting Monday on Bravo and you can read about it right here on Tuesday!

Dina Manzo apparently believes that because she is affiliated with a charity, people have just got to love her! She continues to tweet nastiness to people then delete, justifying that behavior by not wanting the offensive person to get more followers.
She really thinks a lot of herself. Apparently Dina believes that if she tells someone to go to hell, all of her fans will follow that person, her logic is a bit screwed up!

Sorry Dina, most of us are not impressed by the one child that you assisted with all of the money that you’ve collected through Project Ladybug (see documents above, click on Dina’s PL legal woes in the black bar at the top of the page)

Dina has highly publicized this one act of generosity she has shown to a child in Chicago, she points to that alone and feels that it legitimizes her charity. Smart people know better Dina Manzo! Who paid for the first class flight from New Jersey to Chicago so that you could take publicity photos with this child? Who paid for your hotel in Chicago while you used this child to try to improve your hateful image? Did these expenses come out of the Project Ladybug funds?

Here are Dina’s most recent tweets:

@DinaManzo: In a world w such serious issues as childhood cancer & suicide~certain people still choose to spend their time being hateful. MIND BOGGLING
@DinaManzo: Yes tweetholes, I will call u out on your nastiness if I’m in the mood & erase it after u read it. U don’t deserve the followers u may get.

So in Dina’s world, she is full of love and generosity at all times because there are serious issues in the world. Funny, I don’t see that in her. Dina, if your followers gravitate to me because you’ve yelled at me in a tweet, do you think they’re loyal to you in the first place? Hahahaha Get a life Dina Manzo, no one needs your assistance to gain followers!

If you’re on Twitter, I recommend a follow to Dina’s “husband” hysterically funny! @TommyManzo_

Until Next Time….

    Love the blogs ladies!!!!

Come and post. Lynn and we love new and old friends.

    • Savannah111 says:

      Saundra great Blog.
I live in the Atlanta area and of course I can’t wait to start watching these ladies the ones that are back and the new ones as well.

I don’t know any of them nor do I know anyone that knows them I do have a few people that I’m friendly with that claims to know a few as to how well I couldnt say.. I personally can tell you that in as far as Nene goes I really liked her on season one however I have to agree with you 110% of your take on her now, no doubt about it she has gotten beside herself and thinks she is the most liked one on this series, unless stone mountain falls on her head and knocks some sense back in her brain I think she’ll continue to still think shes the one thats loved the most. I have a feeling that Kandi may come out on top this season. I think she’s the one that really knows what it means to work and do an honest days work she doesnt put on a show of something shes not.

Sheree, well I dont think she’s gotten her money that shes always wanted the 7 figures infact there;s a site that estimates the worth of these ladies and if I remember correctly shes at alittle over 50,000 at net worth I think Kim Z. beat her out, of course with her it was mostly what was handed to her or bought for her etc. that gives her a larger net worth. What amazes me the most is that for Kim and Sheree I just dont see how they live.. She by sheree didnt go anywhere , it’ll take start up money for her putting out a fitness video and as of last year she wasnt able to really get any child support to speak of or atleast what she wanted. Kim those little itunes dont keep her rolling in money she has to take what someone is willing to give her for a price if you know what I mean…

Lisa, was to me a bore a snoozefest, but I never never thought she was a goody goody, thats the imagine she wanted the viewers to have of her but if she could get away with stirring up shit without the viewers see it theres no doubt in my mind she would in a heartbeat.

The 2 new ladies it will be interesting to see what happens with them.
Anyway thats my 2 cents worth…

Also wow I was really suprised to hear about Deshawn
Kandi is legit she is doing it for herself.

      • quincyil says:

The net worth of Sheree is $50,000? Celebrity net worth said that Kim Zolciak is worth 1.5 million dollars. Nurses get paid a lot in Atlanta.

        • Savannah111 says:

Yep I know thats why I’m thinking Kim’s worth is just what she’s been bought etc.. She’s not working a nurse thats for sure. I’ve heard her say she used to work as a nurse she mentioned it on the 1st season and I remember her saying on the 2nd reunion show she would flip burgers if she had to. Not for one second do I believe that….

And Sheree as far as I know she’s not landed that 7 figure settlement that she’s been after…

          • quincyil says:

They get so many “gift.” If you get a gift on a show like “Oprah” you have to pay income tax, but it doesn’t seem these ladies pay income tax for the hair, makeup up, parties, and designer dresses that they receive.

    • boston02127 says:

      I luv seeing the pics!

      • Anniieee says:

Boston – if you look closely–you will see that I am at the “Head of the Charles.” That was my boat–scary day–it seemed like millions of boats were floating in the bay–Our boat had a wreck on the way up to Boston from DC–we lost 6 boats that day–anywhooo–men’s borrowed boat–men’s oars– and I was afraid I was going to wreck it. A lot of the kids I had coached in HS were there with their colleges. As we went under the 7 bridges–there were kids yelling for us. An amazing weekend and a most wonderful memory. I love Boston!!

  2. quincyil says:

Wild ride in Atlanta. I liked Gregg and thought he was good to Nene. I guess his crime was the economy hitting the skids and sales of homes going into the ditch. Surely, Gregg would not take Nene back after all of this. I think Gregg needs a sweet, very attractive 30 year old girl friend asap. We will be able to hear Nene’s screams in Illinois when she finds out about that girl.

Sheree really was unhappy with her divorce settlement. I hope that Deshawn has a financial advisor who puts her on a strict budget. I would not give either of these women a credit card.

Kim Z. omg. Is she still selling her gifted designer clothes on the net? She must be absolutely desperate for cash now that Big Poppa’s kingdom has collapsed. He was in realestate too. That mansion didn’t sell. If he has cash, Mrs. Big Poppa wants to know where it is stashed. Is there a bigger liar than Kim Z in all of the shows? Teresa and Kim Z should meet in an blind alley and duke it out for first place.

I love Kandi and her daughter and her mom and her aunts… and her music. Why? She’s real. She’s kind. She wants to be a good daughter, mother and niece. I just love that. We were worried that Jill would disrupt Bethenny’s wedding. Thank goodness Nene didn’t show up at the 4 seasons. She would have wanted equal stage time with Bethenny.

A lawyer married a racketeer? ok… She wouldn’t be chosen by Bravo unless something was amiss.

Ex model? The other women will be jealous of her body. Not Kandi, my favorite. She’s perfect. LOL.

    • OneMoreinBoston says:

I absolutely j’adore Kandi. She’s like the friend that you can go to when your boyfriend dumps you. She’ll make you a strong drink and eat frozen cookie dough and ice cream with you, and then won’t let you drunk dial him.

  3. boston02127 says:

Good morning ☼ Thanks for the new blogs. 🙂
Too bad NeNe’s marriage is falling apart. The only thing I like about her was her husband.

  4. WindyCityWondering says:

Good Blog! Thanks. The Atlanta Hot Messes are probably the funniest in the franchise. Love Kandi, can’t wait to see the newbies and wish that NeNe would just go away!

  5. HD says:

I noticed that second link was not working about Greg’s apology so I wanted to post it here. If any of the links are not working it could be because I sent them in a Word document so I will respost them. Here is his apology for calling his wive out of the radio (which he didn’t know was LIVE!)

On June 2, 2010, an unauthorized audio taped conversation between Mr. Gregg Leakes and Mr. Corey King was made privy to the public by Mr. King and Large FM. While Mr. King touted an “exclusive interview”, the taped recording was obtained by fraud and deception. Neither Mr. King nor Large FM were granted consent to interview Mr. Leakes and an interview never occurred.

Throughout the duration of the call with Mr. King, Mr. Leakes was under the impression that he was simply confiding in a friend after an argument with his wife. However, Mr. King has demonstrated through this blatant disregard of Mr. Leakes’ privacy that he does not even comprehend the word “friend”. The audio recording was deceptive and the release of it was nothing short of malicious.

It is not a secret to anyone that Mr. and Mrs. Leakes are facing marital challenges, a situation common to many couples. However, there is no doubt that Mr. King’s intentions were dishonorable, hateful, and inexcusable. His deceptive act was committed without any regard to Mr. or Mrs. Leakes.

Mr. Leakes, acting on the advice of his attorneys, has issued a “Ceast and Desist Order” to Large FM and other media outlets, concerning the broadcasting of the unauthorized, so-called “exclusive Interview”. Although Georgia is a one-party consent state, Mr. King still may have violated several federal and state regulations, including the Wiretap Act, the Privacy Act, the Privacy Protection Act, the Right of Publicity, the Right to Financial Privacy Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Georgia’s Fair Businesses Practice Act, and Georgia’s Surveillance and Publication of Private Facts statues.

Mr. Leakes has apologized privately to his wife and he offers a sincere apology to the others mentioned in the audio. Any further discussion of the matter should be amongst Mr. Leakes and those individuals, privately.

Any further attempts by Mr. King to discuss this matter in a public forum will be met by the full exercise of legal protections afforded to Mr. Leakes, up to and including the filing of a lawsuit.

  6. HD says:

Oh my goodness! The audio video is STILL UP! I thought they would have gotten that taken down by now! Greg goes off!

Maybe they need to go to marriage counseling. Greg always seemed nice, like he really supported Nene and it seems fame just got her. You can always taste your fame, just don’t swallow it before you become full of yourself.

    • quincyil says:

Alec Baldwin couldn’t stop the release of his phone message either.

    • nathania says:

That’s one of the slimiest things I have ever heard, for Greg to be so humble as to make an apology like that, to someone who is recording him which is soooo illegal, at least in some states, i think the law varies depending on where you are. But he takes this call thinking it’s from a friend, and he sounds like he needs support, and gets stabbed in the back. Boo hiss. And I suck for listening to it, lol.

    • Savannah111 says:

I tried to listen to it but I could only hear a very little, I’ve lost a lot of my hearing and it is so so frustrating to me. When I watch TV I have to put the words up so I can understand whats actually being said..

    • BKAamia009 says:

Where is the link that you said is still up?

  7. MickeyMouth says:

Great guest blog HD. Your insight may actually have me watching this season 🙂

  8. OneMoreinBoston says:

    Awesome guest blog! funeeee!!!

Are there really “Shit by Sheree” t-shirts? I want me one!

  9. OneMoreinBoston says:

I don’t know if this was already posted-

“Rachel Zoe & Brad Goreski Part Ways
Celeb stylist Rachel Zoe and her bow-tie clad assistant Brad Goreski have sadly decided to go their separate ways, effective Oct. 1. “I love Rachel and she’s taught me everything I know,” Goreski, 33, tells PEOPLE exclusively. “But there’s a point where either I do it now or I’ll never know what it’s like to spread my wings and soar.”

    • quincyil says:

A point right after he complains about Rachel’s early morning visit to his bed on national TV? Will she fire everyone?

    • HD says:

Wow. I wonder who she is going to find to replace him? First Taylor, now Brad. Hmmmmm…. At some point you do have to spread your wings. I am struggling with that now on my job…Pray for me please!

      • error404 says:

Maybe she can rehire the girl she fired for being sick. 😛

Good luck with your move, whatever and whenever it is! The hard work will be worth it.

      • Kat says:

Good luck to you HD in all of your endeavors. 8)

        • HD says:

Thank you Kat and Error 404. I am truly at a crossroads. I have not shared this here at all but I work full time and I self publish my books. I have two novels and four works of poetry. I have read poetry all over the country even made it all the way to the Apollo stage in Harlem. 🙂 I really want to write full time and just recently a door opened for me to go on tour in a few places. I need that exposure. I know I have the RIGHT book at the RIGHT time. I just know it. I know that I KNOW these are great books. I really do and I am not just saying that because I wrote them. If I didn’t write them I would still read them.

Sometimes you just have to fly. But part of me is fearless and the other part of me is fearful. I need help!

          • Need a Hobby says:

Any chance of taking a leave of absence from work? Depends on job & employer…some have that option, others don’t obviously.

Which would you regret more, remaining and not taking the risk or taking the risk and finding out for sure what it might offer. Presumably those kinds of opportunities don’t happen often.

Not an easy call for anyone to make. You know your circumstances best.

          • OneMoreinBoston says:

My professor, Sam Cornics, taught Black literature, and was never, ever happy. I loved him because I had already read all the (mandatory) books for the class and he let me just take the exams and not go to the classes-love him!

He showed me some poetry, and I was impressed. We even joked about how it wasn’t realistic to write for a living and how teaching spoiled freshman the intricacies of James Baldwin was he had resigned himself too.

Well, he took a leap of faith and is now Boston’s Poet Laureate. Maybe his story will resonate with you:

sorry that last part got put out of order- but you get it

              • HD says:

@ Need A Hobby-I would kick myself if I did not take the risk. I would always wonder what could have been. I have an enormous following where I live but that is only as good as the city you are in. If I don’t branch out I think I will shrivel up somewhere and die a slow death. Literally. I have to try which means taking the leap of faith.
@ OneMoreInBoston-Thank you for the link. I did read his story and it is inspiring. The fact that he would just take the chance and look at what he got from taking the chance. It is worth it!

You guys are right! I will keep you all posted on what happens!

              • Kat says:

@HD~ You wrote, “I know I have the RIGHT book at the RIGHT time. I just know it. I know that I KNOW these are great books. ”

From your statement alone I sense your confidence in the rightness of taking action.

I have confidence in your ability to land on your feet in the unlikely event things turn out differently than anticipated.

HD, I hope you’re able to take this opportunity and run with it.
I’m very happy for you! 8)

          • quincyil says:

I wish you true success. I noticed how well you write from your blog and your posts.

          • Bosandi says:

HD, great to “see” you back! I stepped out on faith and left my job this past March. Half of the people thought I got fired and the other half thought I was crazy. Why else would I quit a great job making great money? Anyway, I KNEW it was time to go b/c I needed to spread my wings. It took a few months but I’m now working in my field (grant writing) and am teaching college freshmen. I love both and don’t regret my decision for a minute. I go home exhausted but satisfied. When you know, you know.

            Good luck with your decision!

P.S. the only downside is that I don’t have much time to read Lynn’s blog 😦

      • cdnfillie58 says:

HD…whatever you decide to do it is where you are supposed to be..trust yourself and your instincts..as my mom would have said..time to fly baby

    • Savannah111 says:

wow does anyone know what happened?

    • BKAamia009 says:

I hope HE DONT get his own show I dont like him Im sorry but I really dont!

  10. OneMoreinBoston says:

Oh jeez. So of course Jill had to stick her nose all up in Lindsey’s bidness (although, not bad advice):

“Lindsay Lohan, you have a powerful ally rooting for you: Jill Zarin, star of Real Housewives of New York and author with her mom and sister of Secrets of a Jewish Mother!

Jill Zarin, who’s a mom herself to 17-year-old Allyson, is adamant that Lindsay Lohan should NOT have been jailed by Judge Elden Fox until her Oct. 22, parole violation hearing.

“You don’t NOT give bail to a drug addict. Lindsay didn’t hurt anyone else — she didn’t rob a bank or break into someone’s house — she didn’t hurt anyone but herself,” Jill pointed out exclusively to HollywoodLife.com. “I feel bad for Lindsay — she’s a drug addict, I’ve known drug addicts and all they can think about is their drugs.”

Jill believes Lindsay should focus on medical help, rather than staring at a cell wall.

“Lindsay needs a solid year in rehab to finally overcome her addiction. You need 12 months to break ties with your former friends and associates,” she said. “The best thing to happen to Lindsay is if a movie studio would tell her to go away for a year, get sober and promise her a terrific role, when she came back.”

Jill also suggested that Lindsay may have a genetic pre-disposition to drug addiction, since her father, Michael Lohan, had the same addiction. Plus, she hasn’t had the benefit of two parents working toegther to support her.

“Some parents can help and interfere better than others,” Jill explained. “If her parents weren’t divorced, weren’t fighting, and a united front, they could have had more influence.”

The way Jill sees it, Lindsay is suffering from a deadly disease and she deserves treatment…NOT jail time!”

As usual JZ shows how stupid she really is. I agree that drug addicts need treatment instead of jail but to suggest that Lindsay’s addiction hurts no one is ridiculous.
Anytime illegal drugs are purchased you are supporting criminals who often do hurt people. The murders in Mexico and the Mexican American border for instance.
And if you buy heroin you are possibly supporting terrorists. The sale of opium from Afghanistan has funded both AlQueda and The Taliban.

      • Olivia says:

How about that she deserves both: jail for violating the terms of probation and rehab to get her clean.

This once talented young girl is on her way to total destruction from those who enable and excuse her behavior. She was on probation for driving under the influence, property destruction, and chasing another car off the road. The drugs are probably directly related to her behavior in those instances.

She has thumbed her nose at the court and the probation reports and continues to act pretty much the same even upon release. The very fact that Jill “Know It All” Zarin has weighed in is more than likely due in large part to her “friendship” with that other media whore, Michael Lohan, who continues to insert himself into the mix.

        Stifle it, Jill.

        • Amber...Real Wife says:

Lindsay deserves rehab and jail time. Not bail. She has already proven she can’t stay clean and continues her destructive lifestyle. As for JizzZarin saying she’s not hurting anyone, as usual she’s WRONG! Drug dealing and usage is not a victimless crime. This girl is purchasing drugs in her home or other neighborhoods at odd hours, bringing in drug traffic that is dangerous and can be possible DUI/DWI’s. Drug dealers/users do not respect other’s rights to quiet enjoyment. These drug houses have loud parties, lots of traffic at odd hours, lots of houseguests, break ins, shootings, robberies, fights etc. Even a “rich” drug user will go ANYWHERE, regardless of danger to get drugs. Ask a cop.

We all know Lindsay has gotten special treatment because of her celebrity status. They allow her and the other celebs to keep their hair extensions while there. Something other inmates cannot do. I feel if they took out her extensions and had her do her walk of shame out of prison, without makeup, sans hair and bare, she’d never want to go back. It could be that simple!

If she were a regular girl she’d have been tossed in jail so quick she’d have gone straight or gone worse. But, she would’ve gone to jail without passing GO! She’s proven she can’t abide by the rules, just let her do her time.

          • Olivia says:

She is walking proof that it matters when you are considered a “celebrity” in this culture.

She was being sought after to tell her “story” for a million dollars following release. She was featured at the VMA show. She was being pursued to host SNL. She was being feted for her behavior.

The same with Teresa. Apart from her questionable crimes and misbehavior she is more than likely being offered a contract to appear for another season while “cleaning up” in having her face all over magazine covers and being interviewed as if she had something of importance to offer.

            • Jen says:

Also JZ you a** her underlying offense was 2 DUI’s where she easily could have killed someone- the lesson needs to be taught and Lohan keeps proving to the world she’s not learning so throw her in jail till she gets it’s serious!

      • quincyil says:

It funds the Mexican and South American drug cartels. The Taliban, Mexican drug lords and South American drug lords kill their own citizens. We should put everyone in treatment and stop buying from them.

      • floridagirl88 says:

And how about all the erratic behavior that creates problems for other, innocent people? There is a cost to her behavior, but I doubt LL gives a damn.

    • HD says:

You know what pisses me off about this is why is she not going to bat for all the drug addicts in jail? Just because someone is famous, what? The rules don’t apply to them. Last I checked in my neighborhood they were not offering crack addicts drug rehab instead of jail time. Give me a flippin’ break! Jill gets the big STFD card on that one!

      • Olivia says:

Why not go one step further owing to her “friendship” with the NJ girls and give Juicy Joe a pass for his drinking and driving?

After all, no one was “hurt” with the exception of a couple of trees.

    • Sha2000 says:

Anyone else think Rianna looks like Raggedy Ann with that RED hair? Noticed her pic in the link.

    • nathania says:

Well, she commandeered an SUV and according to the guys she practically kidnapped (the one that had the foresight to jump out of the SUV got his foot ran over so there goes the ‘she didn’t hurt anyone’ part, idiot Jill) and undertook a high speed chase after her assistant, running red light after red light at about 90 miles an hour. All this stems from that case, apparently, and Jill can ask all the people who have lost relatives to drunk drivers whether or not that counts as ‘hurting anyone’. My boss lost her mom to a drunk driver, I lost an aunt to a drunk driver, she was actually at a 7/eleven store IN THE PARKING LOT with her husband, after having come out of the store and was leaning into the car with their purchases and and drunk driver swerved off the road and hit their car from the other side, she was thrown like 20 feet from the impact. I believe the justice system is trying to intervene on behalf of the citizens of California and not so much on Lohan’s behalf, though having her locked away anywhere would be a blessing to drivers and pedestrians, and the rest of us online who wouldn’t have to read about it anymore.

    • Need a Hobby says:

      1. Jill’s “good friends” with Dina Lohan and Bonnie Fuller who gave us that “exclusive” so Jill could get some media attention and appear relevant.

      2. Lindsay’s legal troubles IIRC arose from a couple DUI’s and her subsequent inability to stay sober. DUI’s, putting others at risk, are not what I would call victimless crimes, Jill. Not to mention the cartels involved in the drug trade.

      3. Court ordered long term rehab that she can’t check out of at will may be the preferred option. Certainly for Lindsay.

Perhaps for Jill as well. Don’t know if they have rehab for shameless fame whores.

      • Cheri says:

Sorry but drug addicts do hurt others beside themselves You can’t tell me this hasn’t had an impact on her family. Even though I think most of them are in denial about her problems it still does have an impact on them. I can’t imagine how upset I would be if this were my child or sibling. Gee even if I didn’t think she had a problem I’d at least be upset they put her in jail.

    • Jen says:

Haha- ‘powerful’ ally….that made me laugh

No one in CA gives 2 poops about JZ, who doesn’t know crap about addiction

    • Savannah111 says:

Well there you have it.. Jill the dumbass I wonder if Jill reads the paper with regular people that are drugging does she think they also should not face jail.. Wonder what she would think if someone she loved got killed because they were a victim of someone high. Yep she makes a lot of sense stating bullshit like that…

    Great Atlanta update, HD !

Sign me up too – for one of those Shit By Sheree T-shirts. For my money (heh), Sheree’s attempt at being a designer ranks among the most obsurd, un-self aware business endeavors of all the housewives in all franchises.

In the words of that great mystic & oracle, Dwight:
“… …a fashion show without fashions, who does that?”

  12. AZ Girl says:

Jeff Lewis’ blog is up on Bravo. He is apologizing for his “blow up” with Sarah. I personally would have fired Sarah ages ago. She is unprofessional and not very bright. Last nights phone call to the contractor would have definitely put me over the edge. Jeff never should have hired her and because she is family he is screwed.

  13. Ellabean says:

    Off topic, but Bravo related:

Watched Betty White as the currrent guest on Actors Studio last evening. It’s a new interview. Please try to catch it – I highly recommend. Needless to say, she was a delight and so inspiring – my goodness at 88 years old. Be sure to catch when she answers the James Lipton questions at the end. Her favorite curse word ! And you will tear up when she answers, ” …..what would you like to hear God say when you enter the pearly gates ?” I just adored the camera closeups of all the fresh faced young people in the audience on the threshold of their careers, a new generation, who were so respectful of her, and absolutely hung on her every word.

    • AZ Girl says:

I watch part of it yesterday and Betty White is so gracious. It was a wonderful interview. A “must see”.

      • quincyil says:

Betty wants to work with Robert Redford… She’s still got it.

        • Ellabean says:

Loved when she said that. But she has to get in line:
I have first dibs on Sundance.

          • quincyil says:

Are you near NYC? He went to a college there and every summer he goes to an environmental conference at the college. I don’t stalk him. I was waiting in line for an art museum to open in Manhattan and a lady told me that she saw him and that he does this every year.

    • TT in OC says:

I watched it too. Betty White is one of my favorite actresses. She is witty and funny.

    • I agree Ellabean. Her interview was both hilarious and inspiring. 🙂 I’d like to tape it to play whenever I get depressed.

Daaannng HD, you went off! Thanks for the great blog and then informative posts. You really can tell you know the ATL girls.

The Greg interview was funny and sad. He spoke candidly, unaware he was being taped for a live audience, to someone he thought was a friend. He surely had to apologize to Kim and was faced with the horrible banshee Nene at home. While I’m sure Greg can’t get his 300k investment back, he should be able to get spousal support as Nene is now well off financially. The money she gets from tv, book sales, appearances, her radio show and such must be taken into consideration during the divorce. A year ago Nene said she would surely support her husband if he lost everything as he had supported her for many years during their marriage. Well, don’t call her Shirley, cause as soon as the money was gone she was OUT! This affair with THIS guy Charles, was going on for a while as it was mentioned by Kim when Nene appeared on WWHL.

Nene’s catch phrase of “Close your legs to married men…Hooka!”, should be greeted by “Close your legs to single men…Married Hooka!

    (Coming out of lurkdom again)
I just wanted to say to TrueLifeDiva and Jean, that I think you two are just the sweetest people and probably gifts from God to do what you’re doing for JustAnotherMary, who has my thoughts and prayers going to her for what she is going through now … and Jenni and Noelle and anybody else who I can’t think of right now. I think that “Cancer” is probably the scariest word in the dictionary that a person can hear, and I’m speaking from experience (you don’t know hell until you’ve went through menopause at 38! lol) when I say that it was the most devastating time of my life and the most enlightening time, too. Wishing all the best to those of you that are going through these trying days and know that there is a reason for everything and it will make you stronger than you could ever imagine. I’ll go back to lurking again and reading all you ladies’ posts that say things better than I ever could. (I don’t know why but I’m just ADDICTED to this blog…this is all I do on the computer anymore – no more online games for me, lol)

    • MoDee says:

I should have said…I think everybody here is sweet and God’s gift for all the encouraging words and advice the ladies gave justanothermary yesterday.

Good Morning to Everybody! Thank you HD! I enjoyed very much your blog! You are a doll!

Lynn: I went to the blogspot and there are none adds to click… just Amazon… (????)

    • You could get a million Amazon clicks and never get paid. Amazon pays when someone who has clicked through your link, makes a purchase. So if anyone wants to support Lynn’s site, besides clicking the other ads, which do pay for clicks, if you are planning on buying anything on Amazon, use Lynn’s links to get to Amazon, and then a percentage of any sale goes into her account.
If there is a Housewife book that we all decide to purchase, we might be able to raise some funds?
Also, because of this blog, my Winter reading project is going to be the Dragon Tattoo series. I will buy them on Amazon but unfortunately, Lynn will be credited pennies for that since I’ll buy it used.
If we all decided to buy Ramona’s jewelery on Amazon through Lynn’s links, that would be another story! I think she gets credit for anything that we buy through Amazon, as long as we get there by way of her links.

    • LynnNChicago says:

Thanks Cusi for letting me know, I checked and you were right, they were gone. I just reset and I think its ok now, the ads should be there now. Thank you!!!

HWH is right about Amazon, there is no payment for clicks alone, only if you’re purchasing from Amazon. thanks HWH 🙂

  19. Jimmy says:

    Great site you have here!

  20. cusi77 says:

Thank you for blogging as well Saudra! Last but not least!

  21. Alright, I think the blogs inspired me to get in the countdown for Atlanta…..but I am officially on Team Gregg. I don’t even see what he had to apologize for. What he said was that fame went to NeNe’s head, and he didn’t even say it in a mean way, just explaining it for what it is.

So Reality Jen seems to have a line to Bravo. She’s been complaining that Bravo has closed-ranks but she asks us to read between the lines. I did and what I get is that Teresa is getting her own spin-off on another network. And I won’t hold my breath waiting for Teresa’s old best friend Rob at Popeater to break the news. I think that Teresa was offended when Rob put-out that story about Teresa being claustrophobic.
Maybe he thought he was doing her a favor, but she disputed it directly in her Bravo blog.
Maybe Teresa will be on both shows, like Bethenny? But, it is another network.

    • nathania says:

      That’s disgusting if it’s true.

Snooki is just a huzzy. Lohan is just a cokehead. Teresa is a scum-dwelling skank who I wish would just go away. I guess even the classless trash need a leader but good grief, she is one of the most offensive public figures to come down the pike in a very long time. She says the right buzzwords and somehow ends up with fans…despite the fact that she is an amoral cretin who wouldn’t know the truth if it ripped her weave out.

And the worst of it is she sits at home and counts her money and laughs about how stupid the people are that actually believe there is an ounce of authenticity to her. It’s all a game, like forging documents or falsifying tax records. Sometimes you get away with it, and sometimes you don’t. And then you just move on to the next scam.

  22. Char212 says:

Morning everyone. I have never watched Atlanta housewives before but am planning to this season. All of the info you have all posted got me interested. When I watched the previews before I didn’t much like what I saw and wasn’t interested in it and didn’t think I’d like it.

I don’t post often but I read every day and I want to say when a wonderful group the Lynn family is. Reading yesterday about the help that was offered to JustAnotherMary confirmed what I always knew.

    • floridagirl88 says:

In order to understand why no one likes NeNe anymore, you will need to watch S1 and S2 to see her transformation from likeable and funny to big head diva. And in order to get why Sheree is delusional, you again have to watch her nonsense from S1 where she believes she is a designer, but then launches her line without one item to show.

I think they were going to reassess the value but then said there might be a ‘private sale’ so maybe Joe has agreed to kill somebody as a labor trade for bulk sale or something.

I honestly can’t imagine what it might be that is going to come out, it actually worries me because these folks are eleven million dollars in debt so maybe they found body parts in all the faux antiques or there are mob hits buried under all that marble, I mean, what could be bigger than eleven million dollars? I sincerely hope their petition is denied and they go to jail for perjury and hiding assets and the false tax forms and all that jazz. The Teresa can make cute little ‘flipping table’ jokes from prison, as funny as that stuff is.

        • quincyil says:

I think they should keep the house. Teresa should scrub those floors and be her own gardening staff. Joe should do something about the strange odor in the basement. I am Team Kandi! Don’t you love how doesn’t take any shit from NeNe??? Adn she’s a class act too! No wig tugging with Kandi!

I can’t wait until the more accomplished (eh em, educated) and prettier women arrive to terrify Godzilla. She ain’t gonna like these ladies at all! Isn;t that why NeNe and Kim get close again? To close ranks on the newbies?

    HaHa. Can’t wait!!

  30. MAMAZ says:

    Great job HD and Saundra.
I don’t regularly watch Atl. But I have seen some episodes. What is the deal with Kim and the wigs? I understand why some African American women choose to wear them, it can be difficult and time consuming to do their hair. But even the African American women I know that wear them don’t wear them every freaking day! Is this broad too lazy to blow dry and curl her hair? And could she be any cheaper looking?
I remember one episode where she wore this dress that Dolly Parton would have found too garish. I think it was at the end of the season party where she semi made up with NeNe.
Khandi seems okay to me. I felt bad for her when she was torn between her mother and her fiancee. But I agreed with her mom about him. He seemed like a bad risk. It must have been hard for her to postpone the marriage then have him die the way he did.
I will try to watch the new season so I can keep up with the rest of you. But I’m not promising because that Kim is too annoying, the She beast too.

    • OneMoreinBoston says:

It is my secret fantasy to look as cheap as Kim. I’m sorry, I just love her! She’s so trashcastic, what’s not to love?

I want to cast aside my St. John knits, take my hair out of it’s careful chignon and wear leopard stripper shoes with tight jeans and that amazing, shiny, plastic hair did. Oh and bright FROSTY pink lipstick with Blue eye shadow.
I will smoke Virginia Slims with one hand while drinking anything but white wine spritzers in the other (jack daniels?) I want to be low down honkeytonk and get up on stage at a country western bar with sawdust on the floor and get all the men to stare at my big, huge…blue eyes. And I will know they all want to kiss my ripped off nipple until it’s all better.

You just know she smells. Like cheap perfume, and cig butts, mixed in with booze breath. I have a strange fascination with bad girls. Danielle did it to me on RHONJ and Kim is running a close second.

Oh, my! We must be sisters separated at birth! I have always felt the same way. I wanted to be Ms. Kitty on GunSmoke and told my parents. They were not amused. I really didn’t understand why until I got a little older that Ms. Kitty owned the town saloon which was not something a southern girl should aspire as a career move, lol. I really wanted to be one of the “girls” working for Ms. Kitty, they were so flashy and looked soo much prettier than the farmers’ wives when they came to town. I must admit I didn’t know what the “girls” did. I thought they were just there to be pretty and dance with the cowboys. I was kinda shocked when I realized their real job!

        • Zipit Zarin says:

That is tooo funny! My dad is a western fanatic …has a copy of every Louis L’amour book and watched Gun Smoke religiously. I just knew he had thing for Miss Kitty! It kinda freaked me out inside. I’ve never heard him use a swear word …Dad Gummit! is as bad as it gets. He’s just a gentleman in every sense of the word. So when my younger brother came home from going to the club with him for the first time and said “OH MY GAWD! DAD SWEARS!”, my five sisters and I said “SHUT UP! He DOES NOT!”. “YES! He said the F word!” It felt like the earth cracked – we were all discombobulated and dizzy. We told him to ask my dad why he swore at the club and never anywhere else. He reported back that Dad said “You don’t swear in front of women. And if I ever catch you doing it there will be heck to pay” LOL

        • Sha2000 says:

What bothers me is even super wealthy people often do not have a “gardening staff”; well maybe Candy Spelling might need one. Most homes do not warrant a full time landscapers & caretakers unless there is acreage with major garden installations, otherwise maybe there’s the lawn person who might be kind enough to trim hedges & shrubs too, but that’s about it. I have a guy who comes & mows once a week with his crew, I would not consider that a staff but I guess in Teresa’s book it is. Normally she doesn’t bother me even though I clearly see her hypocrisy w/the faux-life style & very real debit but, come on “gardening staff”??? She says it like – look I do it with out a “gardening staff”, aren’t I great?- like that’s normal even if she didn’t owe 11million & had 11million in the bank. Full time gardening staffs are for homes the likes of which are found in places like New Port RI, homes that were truly modeled like Versailles or the Hermitage and that were built by Vanderbilt’s or Rockefeller’s, NOT prefab wanna-be-palaces in suburban NJ. Wow, she really doesn’t get it. And her FB fans all saying wow, tou do it all you can plant a little mum! Ugg.

I have been blocked by the great and glorious T Gorilla so I can’t post, but I truly wish someone would tell her that wearing and displaying rosaries is NOT ok. She says today where she bought Juicy’s rosary “necklace”. I went to 12 years of Catholic schools and am deeply offended. I don’t care if they are in style, rosaries are precious and are to be used for prayer, NOT adornment.

          • WindyCityWondering says:

Additionally, there is a gang (Serrano 13) that does the same thing as a sign of who they are……as a Catholic it is offensive because the Guidices clearly didn’t pay attention enough to learn the 10 commandments – THOU SHALL NOT STEAL…..

            • Sha2000 says:

I was raised as a Catholic & attended 8 years of Catholic schooling, I also worked in showrooms in accessory business for years….point is, it doesn’t offend me, to each her own. Many jewelry designs get their inspiration from religion & this have been true for hundreds of years. I am far more offended by the money the Vatican has spent on clothing, jewelry etc; money that could go to people that need it more. Why does the Vatican need to own all that priceless art? Sell it to Italy with the stipulation that it must forever be on display at the Vatican & take that money and feed the world….why not? Because the Catholic Church is the richest organization in the world & they apparently like it that way. Yes they do good & feed the poor but if they can afford to feed all and don’t why not?????? How much are his robes worth & why does he wear Prada loafers???? I hope the Prada is donating them & they are not bought with donations. No, I begrudge the stupidity of flaunting a lifestyle that gets you $11m in debit, but not how you choose to wear your own rosary….sorry not trying to start an argument, it’s just how I see it.

In S. America I was a part of a tour. We were bussed to the top of mountain. We drove through a very poor area. The children chased the bus begging for coins. We passed boxes built into the mountain where these children and their families lived. When we got to the top it was a church. The alter and everything on it was gold. I was speechless then and I am still speechless to this day!

I am here in NJ. I know the temperature – and I know about hardy fall mums – very popular this time of year. Every garden center, grocery store, Lowes, Home Depot, highway stop has them.

Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE mums which brings us nature’s last gasp of color for the year. BUT ! Teresa is not “planting” them. I would bet money that she is just “placing” them in place all around the front door, in pots, urns etc. Like we all do.

      • Sha2000 says:

        My point exactly Mickey…Thank you.

        • justanothermary says:

I still have a problem with the gorilla fam using a Rosary other than as a religious symbol. I am blocked, please tell them

          • Sha2000 says:

I guess it’s a personal choice Mary & there are many beautiful Rosaries so even if you are not religious it is tempting to wear them. Did you know that the Rosary is not the only prayer beads? Islam has them too & they are even more popular than the Rosary; most men carry them in their pockets. Greece has beads very similar to the one’s found in the Middle East & the men also carry them in pockets. Its interesting to see something common spread among religions…I wonder which had them first?

Hope you are having a good day!

            • Sha2000 says:

I just read more on the link; it says the use of pray beads started with Hinduism.

              • Bob Loblaw says:

Has anyone read Eat, Pray, Love? It actually explains the history of how the rosary came to be, and Sha2000 is correct, it was a Hindu thing first.

  32. Kat says:

HD and Saundra thank you both for taking the time to research and write this blog and for making me laugh.

    Great links HD!
The interviews were entertaining and revealing.
As I listened to the “interview” with Mr. Leakes, I kept thinking he was going to regret his words. Learning that Mr. Leakes thought he was having a private conversation with a friend, I felt sorry for him. Mr. King is a schmuck and maybe a little Zarinesque.

Gregg Leakes mentioned having a disagreement with King and mentioned owing King some money during their conversation. I wonder what that was about?

Dwight’s interview was funny. He almost got away without talking about the 10K in damages to the hotel room as a result of his disagreement with NeNe.
The way I understood it Dwight acknowledged that the “powers that be” set up or encourage situations for maximum drama and this situation got out of hand.

I’m happy to be unimportant. When I get angry there is no radio station personality willing to listen to me rant let alone put my disgruntled mutterings on air.

HD, great update!! I watched RHoA season 1 but lost interested as soon as Nene started screaming at everyone during season 2.

Deshawn may have a good heart but her goal of generating $1 milloin donation from her one-night charity event is unrealistic and naive. I am surprised to learn that she was divorced since she mentioned in the show that she was her husband’s college sweetheart.

Lise is a phony who pretends to be nice to everyone (I am referring to season 1). I never like her.

Kim is another housewife whom should be “voted of the island”. I hate to use the term white trash but it is the best description for her.

Sheree is another version of Kelly …. narcissistic, untalented and idiotic. The only different is she doesn’t do twitter and youtube as much.

Dwight is not a housewife but he would love to be one. He probably would dress up and pretend to be a housewife if Bravo let him.

Kandi is the only sane and genuine housewife and I sincerely hope that “her character” won’t change in the following season(s).

I may not be able to watch the WHoA in real PST on Monday night as I normally am trapped in the studio doing admin. and paperwork. Hopefully, I can catch the rerun on Tuesday …. at least for the premier. In any case, I am definitely looking forward to reading Lynn’s recap.

      • WindyCityWondering says:

        • JKW says:

Well I bet you $100 that Caroline didn’t volunteer to babysit them.

So is it Joe’s parents that live with them? If this is so then why doesn’t she straighten that out…i.e. not my parent’s but Joe’s parents live here.

She’s been a professional liar for a very long time apparently. And that sounded like a dig at Melissa about the nanny…’my SIL has had one for years’. I suspect Teresa is one of the people who actually needs to have a nanny, because her children are incorrigible. They talk and act like very short mafia dons in drag.

I am the entire staff of “Flipping Out” this afternoon. I made a work list like Jeff Lewis and lost it like Jenny is going to do in next week’s show. When I found it, I felt lazy like Zoila and just dusted and cleaned glass table tops. I decided I needed the second cup of caffeine (it’s ok, you can have two cups according to Jackie Warner) so I decided to try ice coffee like Sarah. I read the instructions and made the ice coffee and was shocked that it tasted like cold coffee something I usually toss away because it wasn’t hot. I don’t know why I thought ice coffee would be special. I guess watching so many people enjoy it made me think it was great. So then, I washed a few windows and fed animals like Jett. I also looked at paint cans in the garage, but didn’t like my color options like Trace. Oh, I tossed out a few things from the fridge when starting supper, like Jeff.

I am thinking about Jeff Lewising my kitchen tonight. There won’t be anything on the counter tomorrow and I’ll have to drag them all out again, but it will be very clean and empty tonight.

Help me out, I am a little confused about the timeline of HWoDC. It is advertised that they will show the Sahalis crashing the White House State dinner this Thursday. However, did they not show in few episodes back that Stacie, Jason, Cat and “whatever his name is” were talking about it in the limo on the way to the Oasis? Or, there was another event that the Sahalis went to with only one invitation for a group of four??

      • quincyil says:

That was the Black Congressional Caucus Dinner held annually. President Obama was their featured speaker last fall. The time line is off however. Bravo plays fast and loose with Time and Space. We should call them the Syfy, but that name is taken.

        • Adgirl says:

@TT in OC. We are all confused about the timeline! I might add so are the cast members.

        • TT in OC says:

Thanks for clarifying the two different events for me, quincyil. I just googled the Black Congressional Caucus Dinner and found that it was held a week after the State Dinner. In other words, they got caught for crashing by the FBI and pulled another one just one week later. These two have no shame.

          • quincyil says:

Ha… so Bravo has us thinking they went to the Black Caucus long before the White House Gate Crashing. Somehere had said that women sitting in the living room during the ice cream social at Stacy’s knew about the two gate crashing events. Bravo chose to tell us about her being a cheerleader in that living room.

You know. I am going to change the time line in my life too. I am going to be born next week. Wait, I have to ask my 79 year old mom first. She doesn’t like surprises.

no wonder I thought it was a rerun. the article says Bravo is doing a season 2, if the Salahis are not on there I might watch. I really think people like this should not be given the attention they are craving. There are almost 7 billion people on this planet, and supposedly 3 to 4 percent of the population are sociopaths, so Bravo needs to mine the other 90 something percent for it’s cast…it’s getting old.

I lost an aunt who was truly a second mom to my first great mom to stomach cancer, and when I think about hospice, and what they did for her, and us – there are no words.

To this day, I think about the young guitar player who came to our room as OFTEN as we needed him to. Sometimes, several times a day. Hospice workers are truly angels on earth, to quote an earlier poster.

Does anyone here watch Survivor? I’m DVDing it right now so I can watch it uninterrupted (3yr old and 1.5yr old don’t find it as facinating as I do….). I’ve decided my obsession with reality shows is based on the interpersonal dynamics of people. The body language, the communication stlye, etc. What works and what doesn’t??? Maybe it’s because I am in sales, but I am truly intrigued by what reality TV shows (and shows like Amazing Race, Survivor and Apprentice can’t fake it. No 11 Million dollars in debt folks pretending to be rich…..)

Rumor has it that they are filming “Real Housewives of Miami”. Like we need one more pretentious group of airheads to stink up the atmosphere.

      You’ve touched on this before…

I think there is a new mental illness that is induced once a housewife has been on at least one season of a Bravo RH franchise.

You know, where they are normal until they see themselves on TV and all of a sudden they think they should rule the world with their fakeness, greediness, lies, and ugly attitude.

Nene has changed so much from season 1. So many of these broads from all the RH franchises need reality checks — like yesterday.

And Snooki is writing a book!

Have I stepped off the planet or something? Is this stuff really happening?

Snooki, who can’t complete an entire sentence without the “F” word used as noun, verb, adjective, is writing a book.

This must just warm the hearts of all those serious unpublished writers who wait for years to be noticed to discover that Snooki is writing a book.

        • quincyil says:

I know excellent novelists who can’t get published and Snooki who can’t speak or write English has a publisher.

I get tired typing the list.

Excuse me for venting here. This is something that is happening in my personal life.
Saturday September 18Th. My husband’s Son in Law had a fatal accident while driving his motorcycle with another friend… It was sunset, they made a total stop in a cross street blinded for the Sun in the horizon. The friend turn his head back to his motorcycle while our son in law took off and he got hitten by a car he did not see coming.
It has been really hard for my Husband’s Daughter, because they have a son who is blind and intelligent challenged. He is usually a very quiet 27 years old boy… but since his father passed he turned depressed first and finally violent and they had to take him to the hospital and has been having complications due to depression and now is with pneumonia.
My Hubby is a nice man, hard worker (works from 2:00 AM to 2:00 PM and sleeps during the afternoon) now is angry all the time… while I can understand his frustrations, It is hard for me to be the target of them! Sorry… I feel so lonely.

    • boston02127 says:

@cusi77 –I’m so sorry you’re going thur that. I’m not sure what to say but I’m sending you my love. Time does heal things. We’re all here for you. ♥

    • HD says:

I honestly don’t feel like you were venting (venting always comes off negative to me or perhaps it is just because I am usually being negative when I do it) I think you were just opening up about your life.

I am sorry this is happening. This is so recent your husband probably has not processed his emotions. We always try to deal with emotions on our own and when we don’t REALLY deal with them, they manifest in so many ways and this is the way your husband’s emotions are coming out. I would just try really hard (and I know it is hard) to be supportive of him during this grieving time. There is a book called Good Grief. You might want to pick that up.

      • Zipit Zarin says:

HD, that remined me of the group GriefShare. My sister goes to it and her best friend who lost a daughter does too. They both say it is awesome.

      • cusi77 says:

HD_ TY. I left you a mess. in your beautiful poem “I love me”.
I was feeling like a punching bag… Not now. I feel your company.

    • Zipit Zarin says:

Cusi! OMGosh! So sorry for his and your loss! {{{{{{{{ You}}}}}}}}}} Dang, I wish I was rich cuz I’d fly to your side. Sigh. One thing I learned in therapy is that people lash out at the people they know love them because they feel safe in doing so. It’s not fair, it’s not right and it SUX but it made me realize in spite of the hurt that I was glad I could be their punching bag because they would come out of it eventually and know that I was there for them…and it made our bond unbreakable because it was forged in steel. Does that make sense?

    • TEB says:

I am so sorry for your loss!

    • MickeyMouth says:

    • Kat says:

Cusi I’m sorry for your loss.
Sudden unexpected death is so difficult to cope with. After being stunned I think disbelief and anger are very common. I think men – some men – have a hard time expressing their grief and may have an easier time expressing anger. Of course I don’t know your husband but he may not mean to be angry with you at all but just finds himself angry at life right now.

I heart you. You’re a wonderful human being and a caring woman.

    • TT in OC says:

Sorry for what happened. I wish there is something I can do. Please take good care of yourself.

    • quincyil says:

It’s awful, but I’m glad you shared and I hope you know we care.

  47. Zipit Zarin says:

Thanx for the blogs HD and Saundra! I can’t keep up so many thanx to ALL of LynnFam for everything you write to keep me abreast of the doings in Housewife universe. Much appreciated!

  48. HD says:

    (Major off topic)
I mentioned my poetry upthread and I thought I would post one of my poems to share with the Lynn Crew. I really think you all will enjoy it a lot from so many of the personal things that have been shared here. Blessings!

    I love me…
The words are trapped in my mouth as I see my reflection.
I choke on the thought that I could actually love myself.
That I could speak those words out loud and birth them into the universe.
That I could conjure up the belief that I am lovable and let, “I love me”, flow from my lips.
The words are like thick paste swirling over my tongue.
The thought hard to swallow and even harder to regurgitate and say, “I love me.”
    So I mouth them
Mouth them slowly…watch my lips form the words, almost afraid to look at my reflection in the mirror.
It is wrong to love me.
I have convinced myself because my life has been tainted that loving me is not an option.
I had self-love stolen for me in an instance when I thought I could love so instead of loving me,
I hated me and my mind constantly, reminded me that I was unworthy of love.
Because who could ever love me, when I reeked of self-hate, which permeated my inner self?
And the stench of my hung-over past oozed from my pores like leprosy
and infected anyone that came near me with my inner negativity.
    Yet I whisper them… I Love Me.
And still my conscious is not so convinced or even mildly persuaded.
How could I believe that I was lovable when my soul bore graffiti like a New York subway with words unmentionable? And the question rings out again, “Do you love yourself?”
The question clouded by memories that I have fought to forget, yet they hover over my conscious reminding me that I am unworthy of self-love.
So I attempt to meet the question with more deceit.
Lying to myself sadly is commonplace.
The outward mask of who I am once concealed my fear and pain and frustration.
I lied to myself for so long, that for a brief second I believed those lies
and could not face the truth of my self sabotaging behavior. As I look beyond my exterior and gaze into my interior, I can no longer conceal my truth.
I do not recognize this decoy staring back at me. She is my social doppelganger.
The woman that smiles and pretends that in her outward beauty she is confident
yet inwardly she and I both know she is broken.
I cannot lie to her because her eyes-my eyes-are the window to my soul.
And she is on display. Surface attributes faded away. There are no adornments here.
Broken, afraid, bruised, discouraged, confused, lonely.
    Raw. Exposed. Open. Honest.
    Just me and my reflection.
So I say them out loud… I Love Me
The words foreign to my ears.
My voice I do not recognize.
A voice of strength and courage. “I am lovable. You are lovable”
And I fight, and I fight, and I fight, daily, through the tears to believe that I am worthy of loving myself.
Facing the reality of who I am now reflecting who I will become.
So this time I smile as I say the words.
Disregarding the tears that fall silently on my face, because in one word
    ~ acceptance~
I can see that I am lovable.
Allowing acceptance of my imperfections, knowing that imperfections
    Makes life interesting,
    Makes life worth living,
    Makes life worth loving,
    Makes me worth loving.
Recognizing that no one can love me better than I can love myself.
Because I can see that I have been given beauty for my bruises.
That my brokenness created pieces of a puzzle for others to be delivered.
That my storms only allowed my destiny to be irrigated until fruition.
That my pain was only to reveal my divine purpose.
That my tests were clearly for my testimony.
That my weakness allowed Him to be strong.
That the scars that crisscross and form calluses over my soul were only to make me stronger.
My flaws are a sign of triumph.
My pain now a symbol of victory.
    “Do you love yourself?”
This time the answer is not shadowed by lies but spotlighted by the truth.
    YES…I DO.

  49. Wendy says:

Hi everyone! Some of you may remember me when I posted about learning disabilities about a month ago. Although I do read the blogs and comments every night, I rarely post, but I noticed something on Twitter I found interesting. Sonja Morgan posted a pic of herself with Ramona and Dina at a Gucci event tonight. Dina was with Alex last weekend at a charity event. Hasn’t RHNY started filming season 4? Do you suppose Dina is now a cast member?

    • boston02127 says:

@Wendy–I read on Dina’s twitter that event was something for charity.

      • Zipit Zarin says:

Charity schmarity. I’m so sick of people using “charity” as self-promotion I could puke.

        • boston02127 says:

          @ Zipit Zarin –IKR

          • Zipit Zarin says:

I just had a thought…think of the good Samaritan having a party to raise money for the guy who was mugged instead of just helping him with no cameras there.

        • quincyil says:

That sixteenth birthday party for charity was something. I want 3 designer dresses for one event with limos for my next birthday too.

I would love to see the numbers on the money donated and the products donated. I want to know if companies took a deduction on their taxes.

Simon and Alex mentioned that the thousands of dollars Met tickets had tax deductions, but not the dress. OMG, did they want a tax deduction on a designer dress? Is that why they donated the same dress to the Luann charity? Did they get a tax deduction for that?

Does no one investigate these things. Buy a designer dress. Wear it once. Donate it. Any IRS people here to tell us how that works.

I still remember the shock that I had when I saw that Hillary donated Bill Clinton’s old underwear and took a tax deduction on them.

Keep emailing me photos, I’ll be happy to post them! Please PLEASE include your name that you post on the blog with your photo. thanks!

p.s. I just posted a photo of RHONY at the March for Marriage Equality they all attended over the weekend. They’re all there! (except Bethenny)

    • Zipit Zarin says:

I’m so tempted to send one of Hillary channeling the devil. But I’ll resist cuz this isn’t a political site. LOL

  51. Zipit Zarin says:

I have major trust issues but dangit…you all are so great I might just actually open up about myself here.

    Naw..no way.

  52. Wendy says:

Don’t they film charity events? I just find it interesting that Dina has attended 2 events in less than 1 week with NY cast members and NY is filming. Coincidence or has Bravo made her a cast member?

    • Zipit Zarin says:

I dunno Wendy…the whole thing is hard to figure out. I leave it to Olivia. She’s brilliant at it. And everything else.

  53. @HD… your blog was so informative, so many things I didn’t know, couldn’t read it fast enough. I didn’t know any of the Deshawn stuff..too bad Bravo didn’t keep her, sounds like she had some interesting years finally!!
Did Kim really rip her nipple stitches on a water slide?
verrry interesting blog and I really appreciate all your great info.
I am looking forward to RHWoA….. although it doesn’t look like NeNe learned anything last season about her nasty temper.

  54. Zipit Zarin says:

Someone posted upthread wondering why Kim always wears a wig. She even made up having cancer as an excuse for doing so. How desperate is THAT? She must have some nasty scalp. Imagine it falling off when she and Big Poppa are doin the nasty. Too bad she wouldn’t inherit or she’d have it fall off on purpose and give him a heart attack at the sight. She’d make a good Halloween costume but no one in my real life has heard of her. Talk about obscure. Reminds me of a party I went to one time. You had to wear the name of a person in literature on your back and give hints to who you were. I was very bad. I went as the second Mrs. DeWinter from Rebecca and her first name was never said so I won.

  55. boston02127 says:

If I ever win the lottery (wish wish) I’m inviting all of you on a vacation just like the one Ramona took the ladies on. Our vacation will be a little different thou. I will hire Jill and Teresa to wait on us hand and foot. Don’t worry they won’t be allowed to speak to us. When the vacation is over I’ll pay Teresa with a rubber check. (see how she likes it). While we sit on the beach drinking frozen drinks, I’ll hire Kelly to do continuous cart wheels to entertain us so we can snark and laugh at her. Of course I won’t be drinking (yeah right). We’ll nap, drink, snark, shop, pig out and get mannies and petties and get pampered to the max.

    • TT in OC says:

I wish you would win the lottery too! However, I am not sure I like the sight of Jill, Teresa and Kelly. They might ruin our appetites for all those wonderful food.

    • quincyil says:

I had an idea for the NYC trip this year. There are fine hotels north of the capital city in Haiti. The NYC reality stars twittered their desire for fans to donate, but they could have their luxury vacation in Haiti and help the Haitians with publicity and provide jobs in the vacation hotels.

I am smarter than a fifth grader. Thank goodness. The question that stumps Bethenny is “What are the Pyrenees?” Yeah… I know…I know…

They are a mountain range between Spain and France, mostly in Spain. Major battles there over the millenia. They kept the Spanish language in Spain and the French language in France. Those mountain folk held a number of insurrections over the years too. 5th graders know the Pyrennes? Wow… I guess that is when I studied geography. I really liked that class.

Had a discussion/fight/ google contest with Iranian inlaws over the Kyber Pass on vacation. I said that it was in greater India in the 1900’s. Today, it’s in Pakistan. They said it was outside of Mecca in Saudi Arabia. It was a homonym situation. Khyber was a Jewish settlement conquered by Mohammed’s forces shortly before they took Mecca. Mohammed did a whole lot of conquering to establish his peaceful religion. I guess we were both right. Now, let’s ask Bethenny about Kyber/Khyber.

I always like to see who birthed these “creations” LOL) If you scroll all the way down you can see pics of Deshawn’s house up for sale and a picture of Kim’s boyfriend. Who is 24! She is 32. She is a walking billboard of why you should not smoke and drink too much.

Atlanta is probably the funniest of the franchise – these women are beyond silly! NeNe being the biggest joke of all – now she is sporting Kandi’s hair style/color but seriously, she needs to give a couple of those massive assives back! She gives new meaning to the phrase “wide load” – stick a red flag on that ass girlfriend before you hurt someone!

      • HD says:

NeNe drinks too much as most of the Housewives do but they work out. Nene’s drinks have went straight to her hips and waistline. She needs to workout to counterbalance her alcohol intake or reduce her intake drastically if she is not going to workout.

    “Hear U go again

    And shaking me up So

I do a mean Roy Oberson too.

Come on I am making a record for charity !

    • OneMoreinBoston says:

OK, OK Roy Oberson, Johnny Cash-but that’s IT!!!

    • Ellabean says:

Hello Ms. Wall Street ~ I hear that melody loud and clear. That’s Dolly Parton’s song. I don’t like country at all either, but I do respect her, and repsect all genre’s of music. The classic “Coat of Many Colors” about her poor childhood (a coat being made form patchworks taken from many handmedowns) and of course the song that made Whitney Houston famous, “I Will Always Love You”. Miss Dolly wrote that. I am sure you know that the most $$$$ is made when you wrote the song and own the rights.Good for Dolly!

Roy Orbsion – “Pretty Woman” – his great signature song – covered by everyone. His estate makes lots of $$ off that one too.

The picture of you and Mr. Wsm are gorgeous !

  68. Wall St Lady says:

I spoke w/a known TV personality (don’t try to guess please) Bravo uses Hollywood talent scouts find/fill these reality roles & that it is ALL staged. He has been friends w/Kris Cardashian for 30years & it is all staged. He said they don’t act like that in real life. So we have been scame.
Who really believed the cameras were rolling when Miss B’s water broke !

      • Olivia says:

I hate to say “I told you so!” but there it is. Those cameras are there are just the “right” moments too often to be considered spontaneous.

Thanks for your diligence Cusi, I love you!!

I wasn’t given any reason why they keep pulling the ads from the site, the only thing I can think after reading their help screens is that they protest to the title “I hate Jill Zarin” so I’ve changed the name of the blog to LynnNChicago and I’m hoping that will do the trick.

I’ve sent an email but alas, it could take up to 48 hours for them to respond, surprise! lol

      Thanks again!

  70. Wall St Lady says:

I am not going to stop watching them. But this further explains why they see themselves as stars. They r paid to make it happen. I certainly believe reality TV is here to stay.
What I like is that this means if I meet Ms Gorilla I can make a scene & Bravo might hire me if I break a fake chair over Ms’s Gorilla’s head !

    • Olivia says:

But at least in “validating” the premise we can watch without getting our panties in a bunch over who is violating who this week knowing that the “reality” is simply make believe.

  71. Wall St Lady says:

Remember all those people from the survival type shows that get thrown out & sue & say its staged.
But also look how Elizabeth Hasselhoff has parlayed herself to a “expert”in conservative topics. She started out bikini clad.
An agent can do wonders !

    • Ellabean says:

Elizabeth Hasselbeck of The View is an empty vessel of a brain in which she spouts talking points of an idealogy she just doesn’t understand (nor care about) – thus she has postioned herself as a the blonde conservative on The View. I do not like her. And that show which use to be about women, for women, with civil discourse of sharing different views , intelligently, rationally…has morhped into another dumbing down of America – Roman colleseaum scream fest of incorrect facts, hystrionics, and showcasing the WORST sterotypes of women. The excutive producer , Bill Geddie is one facist mysonigist pig.

Sound like anything else we all follow here?

Barbara Walters needs to hide her head in shame and retire. The View has permanently marred her once credible repectable career.

  72. boston02127 says:

I’ve been following Dina for a long time. I will bet money that this does not pan out in her favor. When this tweetfest was going on and Dina was asked about funds she immediately went in defense mode. Dina is constantly and I do mean CONSTANTLY tweeting about where people can help & give money. If she was so busy with her charity, keeping the books, volunteering, organizing events or anything charity related she would not be on twitter most of the day and night. It’s easy to sit back all day and tweet about something you believe in.
As far as Dina calling people tweetholes, that’s exactly is how Dina is! She’s not a sweet innocent and naive person. I’ve followed her tweets in to third party tweets and have read where she’s tweeted “shut the f.. up”, eat sh..”. Her sisters Cookie & Candice are no better. They are just as ignorant.
I think all the Laurita sisters–Caroline, Cookie, Candice & Claud (the 4 C’s) think they are self entitled.
