I Hate Jill Zarin Thursday Updates and Previews – Real Housewives

Preview of The Real Housewives of New York

Bravo has finally announced that the new episodes will begin to air in February, we know that the ladies all flew off to Morocco to film and they’ve released a quick preview of what we’re going to see. There is a scene that appears to be Sonja yelling at Alex and throwing her out of her house. But don’t forget, Bravo likes to trick us, this could have been Sonja telling Alex what she said to someone else.

Alex is seen describing one of her cast mates as a “Thug in a cocktail dress”, this could be Kelly or it could be Jill Zarin, my guess would have to be Jill, but Alex isn’t saying. Fans have tweeted to her asking which housewife she’s referring to, no surprise she won’t tell.

There was no PP, (private plane) as Jill calls it, taking the ladies to Morocco and news leaked of the filming location when Jill, Luann and Kelly were seen checking in at the airport in New York City, a later flight took Alex, Sonja, Ramona and Cindy Barshop, the newest housewife overseas.

While the ladies were gone, Simon tweeted how he missed his wife and he was just relaxing with his two sons over the weekend, I’m sure all of the ladies missed their children and families, I wonder if Kelly will tell us she was FORCED by Bravo to go to Morocco.

A little about the newest NY Housewife, Cindy Barshop, she owns a string of spa/salon type establishments called “Completely Bare” specializing in laser hair removal and one of their services is bedazzling the Vajayjay…and working on Paris Hilton. She’s got 5-6 shops in NYC and in Florida. Cindy is a single mom of twin girls (1 ½ years old) Ramona said of Cindy, “We have this new girl coming on. She is very happy with herself,” Ramona Singer said. “Not to say I’m not going to get pissed at her or have a fight with her.”

We expect nothing less of you Ramona!

I doubt that we’ll see much change in Jill Zarin, her vile treatment of Alex in the past won’t soften particularly since her plan to get Alex thrown off the show didn’t work. Although Jill Tweeted to Alex a few weeks ago:

@JillZarin: Thank you again @mccordalex for helping me today. I gave Ricki your book! Please wish Johan a happy bday. Tell him I have a present for him?

Do you suppose this is Jill’s latest attempt at Kelly’s PR 101 and PR102 rules? Kelly’s genius plan is to publically be kind to the enemy hoping viewers will think you’re the bigger person, reaching out to the other “team”.

Jill’s tweet and Alex’s kind response led viewers to believe that these two ladies have called a truce, but Jill said herself that she would never forgive Alex for the “message” fiasco. Jill even said she might forget, because she forgets things but she’ll never forgive. I believed her.
If this upcoming season includes any type of friction between Jill Zarin and Sonja Morgan, it has to be clear to viewers that Jill simply can’t get along with anyone! Sonja Morgan made it clear last season that she wasn’t taking sides, she didn’t walk into this show with preconceived notions about any of the housewives. She gave everyone a chance and even befriended the insane Kelly Bensimon in St. John.

Even after Jill’s snide remarks about Sonja at the New York Bachelor party, Sonja laughed it off even though it was very hurtful. Jill did apologize to Sonja, as she should particularly since she did not know Sonja at all when she made those comments.

We know the upcoming season will have friction, arguments and heated debates, the question may just be who will be arguing with whom? Rumor has it the new girl, Cindy has joined the JZ team and Sonja has firmly landed on Alex’s team but you never know what could happen…

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills –

Bravo’s previews of the Beverly Hills housewives show Camille hosting a tennis match/party inviting Kyle and Adrienne with their families to her home. Last we saw Camille and Kyle had buried the hatchet but the over the top way that Camille greeted Kyle was typically fake and phony.

Camille included her “friend” Nick and his family for the guest list and as Nick shows up in a blonde wig, Camille grabs his face and plants a wet one right on his lips as Nick’s wife looks on seemingly in disgust. Kyle interviews that if Camille kissed her husband like that, she’d no longer have any lips, I guess she would probably need to borrow some from Taylor.

Giving Taylor some slack, she also has an emotional scene coming up this week with Kyle. Apparently Taylor’s husband Russell abandoned her at a party and went home without her. It is difficult to know what is going on in Russell’s mind, whether he was just tired from working hard or if he just doesn’t support his wife. Russell is a very serious man and as Taylor confides in Kyle, Kyle tries to compare her husband to Taylor’s husband which really doesn’t help the situation.

All men are different and Kyle telling Taylor that her husband would never do that to her really just rubbed salt in the wound. I would have liked to see Kyle show a bit more empathy instead of just repeating how her husband would never do that to her. I don’t see how that is helping Taylor.

Real Housewives of Atlanta –

Atlanta’s previews show Kim preparing to go on tour and opens with Kim screaming for her assistant Sweetie. Sweetie is giving Kim her prescribed shot of B-12 designed to keep Kim’s energy up for her tour. Kim takes her shot like a 12-year old taking medicine and as her daughter’s come in and show a bit of concern about their mother being away for such a long time, Kim explains that her girls will be with her mother and will be just fine.

Kim tells her girls that she needs to go away to make a living which seems to appease her youngest daughter who walks out of the room without looking back. Brielle, however, bursts into tears as Kim seems shocked that her kid might actually miss her. “Are you really crying?” Kim asks her. Is this a normal mother’s reaction to her daughter’s distress?

The other Atlanta preview is even more disturbing particularly since we know that Cynthia and Peter do go through with their wedding. The couple invited an actor/relationship expert to their home to help with their differences prior to getting married. The fact that he is introduced as an “actor” would be my first concern but he certainly gets right to the heart of the couple’s problems as they start to discuss money issues.

We quickly learn that Cynthia has invested a substantial amount of her own money into her fiancé’s restaurant, Uptown. Cynthia looks at this as a loan that she expects to be paid back, Peter looks at it as an investment into the family’s business. This is a huge problem as so many couples fight about finances and even get divorced over money problems. I have to give Cynthia and Peter credit for bringing it up prior to the wedding and trying to overcome this problem.

Rumor has it Cynthia “donated” $25,000 to Uptown Restaurant to keep it afloat but unfortunately it did not work and Uptown is history. Some reports indicated that it had been shut down even before filming had ended and that actors were hired to pretend to be the staff of the club during scenes shot in the empty restaurant.

Real Housewives of DC –

Still no word on whether or not this series has been picked up for another season. No filming is taking place as of yet and as far as we know even the cast have not been notified. After speaking extensively with Rich Amons during my interview with him, I truly hope that this series is given another chance. I think that there is real potential with the DC Housewives, minus the Salahi’s who really did hijack the series. The number of people who seemed to boycott watching the show simply because of their presence hurt the ratings.

I understand why Bravo chose to air what they had filmed because if they had simply cut out all of the scenes with the Salahi’s or any mention of the Salahi’s, there would have been little left to air. In essence they would have had to re-shoot the entire season, causing a huge inconvenience to the rest of the cast. I realize that is not the main reason for their decision, clearly having the couple who made world-wide news by attending a White House function without an invitation seemed to be a bonus for Bravo, but in the end the ratings just didn’t come through for the network.

Love them or hate them, Lynda, Cat, Stacie and Mary created discussions, made people think and are probably some of the smartest housewives in Bravo’s lineup. Without Michaele and with the addition of a new face or two in DC, this could be a hit show. As interesting as the Housewives are, the DC franchise introduced us to some fascinating husbands as well, Jason, Rich and Ebong brought a lot to the series.

Watch What Happens Live – New Year’s Eve with Andy Cohen

Who will be watching this train wreck waiting to happen? Yes, Lisa Vanderpump’s dog Giggy is cute and all but Kim Zolciak singing? Why would Andy subject viewers to that? We’ve been loyal, we’ve supported Bravo and all of his nonsense, and I don’t think we don’t deserve that!
Tamra Barney will be joining Andy, unless she’s going to spill some interesting preview information about the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, I have no desire to see her.

Bravo has posted this video of some Bravolebrities New Year’s Resolutions:

What are your plans for New Year’s Eve? Will you be watching Andy Cohen? Or Anderson Cooper with Kathy Griffin? Or will you be avoiding having to make such an important decision of what to watch and going out partying on the big night? Quiet dinner or a huge bash?

OOOOH you are gonna “portrait” miss JZ? Can’t wait to read that! Thanks for the updates….sucks to have a holiday week where no new shows are on…….and I am NOT watching WWHL NYE if Kim is singing….nope….

  2. TrueLifeDiva says:

Bringing this over from the last blog.

I got a class reunion announcement in the mail this weekend. This is only the second one my high school class has done in 23yrs. I didn’t attend the first one. So aside from training for a 1/2 marathon in December, I will be working on losing 20lbs by July 30th! Gotta represent :-)

    • buffywood says:

I think 20 lbs by July 30th is a very doable goal. So are you signing up for the Lynn’s Family Biggest Loser Team too? I am in for 15 lbs myself. So far 3-4 have a goal of 15-20 lbs.

Lynn, what do you think? Quincy will you be our coach? I can maintain the records/tracking.

    • California35 says:

      I’m in 🙂

20bls by the summer is a good goal for me.
I have been trying slowly for a few days, and plan to kick it up a notch starting Jan 7 (day after my b-day :-)) I will need all the support I can get.

      • buffywood says:

I was thinking that a good pace we could all follow could be 20 lbs in 20 weeks? That would take us to May 21st. Based on the previous blog as well so far I have TueLifeDiva, American Idiot, CA35, Beverly in NJ, 2stupid, and me.

        • California35 says:

That sounds good – 1 lb a week should be healthy and easy 🙂 I am sure that if we try we can loose more than 1, but in my previous experience even while doing everything correctly one week I could loose 2-3 and then the next nothing (even if I did the same thing).

          • Adgirl says:

I do weight watchers online. Helps me keep on task and outs me when I flup up. LOL.
It’s all about figuring out the foods that fit your tastes and nutritional/caloric goals so you don’t drift away from your diet.

            • California35 says:

I will be filling out the fridge with zero points snacks for the nights…like tomatos and carrots.

          • quincyil says:

It’s the number of calories in and needs of the body, exercise, and a little bit more…

Keep your food diary and if you see this happening, share with the board. I bet that we can tweek it and help….. There will be a plateau, but it probably won’t be for a while.

You may have to change your exerise routines more than some people. Sometimes, you have to trick you body. Start and we will help you.

        • zoekayla says:

Me too! I need to lose a lot, but I am committed to doing it healthily and over a period of time that makes it permanent, hopefully!

    • AZ Girl says:

TLD: If you are interested I do have a workout that can prepare you for the marathon. It involves track work so if there is a high school/college nearby that you can use I will send the workout to you via email. I can also modify it for the treadmill. This is a workout I trained with for races and given to me by a member of the College of Sports Medicine. Have Lynn give you my email and I will send it to you.

      • quincyil says:

Please write up a summary for the board and give them credit for creating it with a link if you have one. I would like to see this as are others.

  3. fluffnstuff says:

Allison Dubois took down her twitter, too. Talked a big game but then ran away.

    • wow. Aren’t you glad you’re not her 🙂 ?

    • BessiB says:

Ah ha ha ha. I would have given that a big “Like”, but I/m not going to register to do so

    • sammyjoesmom says:

That was AWESOME!! This writer must have known that tomorrow is my b-day. What a great gift! I love the reply that referred to Camille as K’meal. LOL

      • OneMoreInBoston says:

m’kay now I’m officially in love with TinsleKitty- big time girl crush on her-luvs this post

        • vilzvet says:

Me too! Will be back checking that site regularly.

        • BaaBee Loves Kitties says:

          Good morning~
I just read her post & she is hysterical~know that~
          kills me everytime lol

        • BaaBee Loves Kitties says:

          Great blog Lynn:)
          Happy Birthday RR & MM~
I tried to post further up about joining work out team with Q as our coach & count me in too. My tummy is worst~not really overweight but I need to get toned & make my body strong again. Since I will be turning 53 in march everything is harder to do as far as cleaning, cooking, volunteering & just feeling better.
I actually am 9-10 on the bottom & extra large on top. It was so flattering to be able to buy jeans in jr. department. After breast cancer surgery & radiation treatments my breast are different sizes~about a C cup on left where there was no cancer & a small B on the right where the cancer was. I cannot wear a bra & be comfortable so I wear a cami under everything.
After a lot of bad & sad things that happened I have not gotten on my indoor bike in over a year. I need to start using rubber bands & weights again too. I only drink coffee, water & green teas. If it were up to me I would only have healthy snacks & my hubby is a sweet freak & naturally thin of course. lol We eat poultry~fish~veggies
& pretty healthy everything else. My weakness is salty snacks at night while watching our shows.
It will be fun again to have motivation to be stronger & healthier like I use to be. You don’t have to be overweight to need to exercise whenever you can~I found out the hard way. I have both of Bethenny’s Books & Watch Jackie Warner Work Out Too.
Happy New Years Eve Everyone~Peace & Tranquility To Us All & Snark As Well~

    • Rabble Rouser says:

      LOL- Know that…
I wonder if anyone has copied of the tweets she was sent.

I still love the look in DiDi’s eyes when the C-word and the Pych-HO were talking smack after everyone left, especially the comment about how they will come crawling to her if their kids go missing. I think she was bating her eye lashes in morse code to say STFU.

  4. TrueLifeDiva says:

@BuffyWood, I’m more of an advanced level than the majority of the LynnFam but I’d be willing to play :-). I weigh myself weekly and reporting my numbers to the board will keep me motivated to stay on track.

    • quincyil says:

I don’t think people have to report numbers in every case. They can report in what ever way they feel comfortable… I would suggest buying a tape measure because there are many times the inches lost will keep you going when your scale is broken. Also, it’s really not the weight loss although that is nice, it’s a journey to a healthier you. A you that feels better every day. It is not a diet. It is a healthier lifestyle. It’s not for a few weeks or months, it is for a lifetime. It doesn’t have to be punishing either. We should enjoy food and enjoy exercise.

      • buffywood says:

I agree. People goals can be different then weight loss too… better times for a run, more distance walking, what ever. Simply just answering to others on your progress and getting their support/encouragement is the key. Thanks for saying you will be the coach.

        • quincyil says:

I agree. Everyone needs a goal though because that helps with motivation. Your goal can be moving more if you have arthritis… or running if you are more advanced. There should be lots of goals actually. Some that you can reach more quickly. Some long term.
So get a pad of paper or a journal when you go to the store. Writing down you food diary is a necessity. It really is. There are free calorie counters on the net. We can get those https for everyone. Later, there are sites that will help with your bmi goals…. Some people will know all of this, but some people will want the https so they can learn more. I have Jackie Warner’s book. That has a good basis in science. We can also find exercises for those who are healthy. Everything is on the net and it’s free.

        • California35 says:

I agree, I want to loose the waight, but also would like to keep it off and that will happen only if I keep a healthy eating and constant exercise. I would like to be firm and I know that will be only if I do some exercise. I will get into the skiny girl book again, and will post my progress here. However we recorded should be fine. I was concern to share my intentions because I would feel bad if I didn’t continue, but maybe doing so will help.

          • zoekayla says:

I like someone’s idea from the last blog about marking on the calendar when exercising so you can see what you’ve done over time. I think I’ll do that as well. I can picture all those X’s on each month… 🙂

            • quincyil says:

It’s a great idea. Any way to record progress is really smart. In time, it slows so looking back on how far you have come will be the motivating factor to get us through the lull.

Everyone’s body is different. We all have something in common. We want to feel good.

  5. GoldenK9 says:

Kim Z singing, Dina Manzo AND Tamara??? Ummm, I think I’ll be watching my gal Kathy & Anderson instead. I like dogs and all, but what up w/Andy’s obsession w/Gigi??

  6. California35 says:

    Hi Lynn,

Thank you for the recap on the wives.

I got my NY fix now 🙂
I hope Alex doesn’t have confrontations with anyone on next season; I don’t want her to be known for that. Also, I don’t want to change my mind about Sonjia, I like her so far. I hope Ramona continues to be the same and her new attitude brought in the last season continues. About the other three ….. deep gasp … and again, sorry Bethanny will be gone.

DC wives – I hope it does come back, the last season was kind of dull apart from the Cat catty remarks and confrontation against her. Other than that the Salahis did take over, but I didn’t like it. I think that the dull parts were shown or so many because those were the parts that otherwise wouldn’t have been shown. But since there was nothing else, Bravo included them. My hope like you, that without the Salahis and adding another wife we can have a better DC next season.

BH wives – I feel for Taylor, even if the husband is not doing anything on purpose she is not happy. She might feel like she is not able to change things in the marriage to make both of them happy. Camille is just not changing; I hope Kyle just let it go when ever Camille continues with her picking on her. Like the book she gave Kyle to be a better person…what??!! Who does that? No one who wants to make peace! Camille is just going to continue trying to be the center of attention and picking on Kyle, but only to then say she is the victim. When is this show over? Will there be anything about Camille’s marriage troubles?

Atlanta – I am not too invested on that show, but I do enjoy the recaps and do watch the show from time to time.

Andy Cohen – I am not watching it on New Years. I might watch the rerun later, if someone from here watches it and says that there was something worth watching 😛 I do plan to watch Kathy Griffin and Anderson Cooper. I did last year, or part of it and watch the rest in the morning.

Not sure of my plans for New Year’s eve. I am thinking I will cooking for two and stay home.

  7. Smompy says:

I said I wouldn’t be watching the RHoNYC any more if JZ was still on it, and at the time I really meant that. But I do still like Alex, Sonja and Ramona, so I’ll probably end up giving the new season a chance anyhow. If it’s not completely Jil-centric, maybe it won’t be too horrible for words. BTW, why do they even need a new HW now? I though Sonja was brought in to replace Bethenny, so theoretically they should be “full” at this point, right? Maybe they brough in this Cindy person to show JZ that she’s replaceable too? If so, I like Cindy Barbershop already.

“Who will be watching this train wreck waiting to happen? ”

I will, I will! On New Year’s Eve I’m working until 1:00 a.m. so no partying for me. I do have a TV at work though, and I plan to switch back and forth between the network coverage of Times Square and Andy Cohen’s New Years Rockin’ Eve Loserfest featuring the caterwauling of some chubby howler monkey in a cheap blonde wig. TVs have mute buttons for a reason…reasons like Kim Zolciak. When I’m alone on New Years I always try to watch the ball drop at midnight, but I figure it’d be just as much fun to watch Kim Z. drop instead.

    My dream scenario:

The so-called “music” is interupted by a painfully loud THUD, remininscent of the sound a morbidly obese corpse makes when it slides off the autopsy table and onto the ceramic tile floor at the morgue. The camera quickly pans to Andy Cohen’s orange, sweaty, panic-stricken face…

Andy: (gasping) Kim’s collapsed. OMG I think she’s…..dead!

    Me: HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!”

    One can hope:)

    • OneMoreInBoston says:

omg- girl you are f*cking hilarious!

    • Adgirl says:

How pregnant is Kim Z? Somehow the big belly, big tits, big wig stuffed like a sausage into a Chanel nightie sounds horrifying. Something for Halloween rather than New Years.
Thanks for taking on for the team Smompy.

  8. TrueLifeDiva says:

“The caterwauling of some chubby howler monkey”

I literally choked on a piece of candy when I read this :-D. @Smompy, you don’t post often but don’t you ever dare change!!!

    Rabble Rouser

    What is your favorite

    • Mookies1mom says:

      Oh, WSL, you are sweet.

My favorite singer? I’m not sure I can narrow down to just one but I’ll go with Billie Holiday, Fleetwood Mac and Sade for now. Depends on my mood and I’m moody!LOL

Favorite cake? I can’t narrow that down at all. I love cheesecake when I want something creamy or Italian cream cake or…. Well anything without chocolate, since it triggers my migraines. I can tolerate small amounts but white chocolate doesn’t trigger them at all. So, maybe some kind of cake with a white chocolate ganache filling. Oh, the possibilities!

    • Rabble Rouser says:

      Thank You..

I think maybe Laurel Aiken or Desmond Decker would be my fav singer and red velvet is my fav cake.

  10. amy says:

If Cindy is a Jill disciple I think RHONY is doomed this season. The show will just be to dark and miserable to watch. BGM is great because it’s a light funny escape. Shill already has Creepy and Countless why would bravo add another bad apple?

    • California35 says:

I hope she is not, but then again if she is not, then that will bring issues because Jill would probably want her to.
I just think that Jill will try to be her friend, remember that she feels like she should be part of everyone’s lives. She likes to say she brouht Bethenny and Ramona into the show, I am not sure of the others. Did she bring Cindy also?

  11. Adgirl says:

Taylor 7 Russell. This couple concerns me.
I am married to a nerd.
Mr IQ 175 can’t remember to take our guests coats or their drink orders (huh? who me?) . He can’t put together anything from Ikea. He is afraid of power tools.

But he cooks a mean bunch of sulphuric acid! LOL. And he can tell what the variable interest rate was 38 weeks ago.

People are gifted or deficient in varying ways.

Taylor doesn’t get Russell. Russell (I believe) is patient with Taylor but he is not energized by partying and socializing like she is. She seems a little troubled underneath everything – why the rubber face and starving Taylor???

On the other hand Russell is a sneak. Have you read the fraud case against him? It wasn’t the fraud charges that surprised me (anyone can accuse you of anything). It was that Russell already has a felony conviction (I want to know what That is about?!)therefore he knowingly was illegally working in the financial planning/investment thingy he does.

So he is not on the up and up. But Taylor obviously knows all about that. But how does she expect a nerd to become a romance novel hero?

Accept who you married! I accept my guy. I love my guy. I adore his eccentricities. He accepts my faults.

These two people are actually very fucked up independently of each other.

  12. Butters'Mom says:

@smompy you are too funny! You just made my day with your take on WWHL preview.

  13. I don't have my notes says:

Alex posted this link to a preview clip of the new RHONY season on her Facebook account this morning.

Would love to know what the Evil Jill “doesn’t want.” Whatever could it be? A moral compass? A conscience?

  14. Mookies1mom says:

I’m recording Andy’s New Year’s Eve Insanity. I like the gang from Flipping Out, even if Jeff can be a horses ass. Then I’ll be able to fast forward through Kim sounding like something from the zoo or as TrueLifeDiva so aptly said “The caterwauling of some chubby howler monkey”.

Sign me up for about 20 lbs. I tend to go with how my clothes fit and how I feel rather than a number, especially since I don’t own a scale. I started eating healthier this past summer and going on walks/hikes. I tend to bake A LOT during the winter but I freeze some and do give away a lot because my husband and I can’t eat the amount of stuff I bake. (My neighbors love me!) But I think I put a few back on. I just want to feel good and look good naked! LOL.

    • sammyjoesmom says:

That’s a great idea. Then we can FF through Kim “singing” if we want. I don’t want to lose weight exactly, I wanna get into shape a little better. I need a hand getting up, I’m in such bad shape. LOL

    • buffywood says:

I love it. “I just want to feel good and look good naked”. Well said!

  15. Mookies1mom says:

I would like to both. Drop a few pounds and get in better shape. I use to do yoga and I felt better. But somehow I lost my dvd and haven’t found one I like as much. I might just order B’s. I saw her on the RR show. She was so sweet about wanting to do something for Julie. I thought Julie looked great but they didn’t let them talk long enough after she revealed her new look. When they gave a brief shot of Jason, umm. He is a hottie. I may be married but I’m not dead!

Oh sorry, you meant words made up here. I will need to think of some.

  18. AZ Girl says:

So can we all make tomorrow our PURGE of the sweets and crap in the house? Is it official? Clean out everything and start new for 2011? Anyone with me?

    • 2Stupid says:

Can we make it Jan 2? I usually have the bad head on New Year’s and cure it by eating HORRIBLE food!!!! With two small one, I don’t get to partake more than I should very often.

      • California35 says:

I like the 2nd with a break on the 6th 😛 or just wait until the 7th. I just have to have my cheesecake on the 6th 🙂

      • vilzvet says:

Yes, let’s make it Jan 2nd! I have a few more of these awesome different flavored chocolate spoons that you swirl into your coffee and they melt, OMG delish.

        • California35 says:

          that sounds yummy.

          • Mookies1mom says:

I like the 2nd as well. I usually don’t feel too well on the first. I’m almost out of sweets anyway! Except what is stashed in the freezer. But I’ll thaw some of it out and give it to my neighbors. They need to put on some weight actually! And ever since he snowplowed our driveway last year (multiple times) while my hubby was out of town, I told him he and his wonderful wife are forever on my baking list!

        • quincyil says:

Purge time frame: from this very moment through Jan. 3….. and late for those who want more time. LOL.

My kitchen is clean. I have truvia as a substitute for sugar, oatmeal and shredded wheat, whole grain bread, and plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables. Remember there are food pantries everywhere. Most Churches have collections. I don’t have any diet sodas either. I do have a large container for fresh water. You need one too. Remember a little lemon in the water helps you liver. Thintervension is in my computer we could pull those back up and put them on the board as a reminder too. As I was walking my 5 miles with a weighted vest, I wanted to remind everyone that it’s easy the first few weeks, but there will always be days that you feel as if you blew it. Bethenny says… just stop. Stop yourself and reset. She tells us that we are in charge of what we put on our mouths. We have to exercise, but it’s really about the food.

          • Mookies1mom says:

I can’t do the sugar substitute because of my migraines so I use raw sugar for my morning coffee but I have cut out soft drinks and drink seltzer instead. I have been eating lot more fresh fruit and steamed veggies. But Bethenny is right about our attitudes about food.

          • remember what Bethanny says., “your diet is your bank account. once you’ve used your money
(calories) up the account is closed”

            • quincyil says:

Bethenny had ideas that work. Look at what she accomplished at 40 in a few months with SWTS. I think Jason helped her too as he trained Jill according to Jill.

  19. TrueLifeDiva says:

@AZ Girl, thank you! I will take you up on that. 😀

  20. Adgirl says:

Taylor and Russell. This couple concerns me.

They are each seriously screwed up.
She is emotionally and affectionately needy and he is rather withdrawn in that department. Did she not notice this until recently??
He seems to be a good sport about attending social functions and even getting dressed up in costume, but I would bet he would prefer quieter activities.
She apparently has a lot of self esteem issues. Rubberface. She starves herself (cotton candy and booze aside). There is something wrong with her.

Russell on the other hand is a sneak.
Did you read the fraud case against him? He ended up accepting a plea. It’s hard to say if he did it to end the financial drain of defending himself or not. The issue that bugs me is that one of the charges was he was running around selling investments services when he was already a felon, and therefore was specifically was disallowed to do so. Say what? What felony?? What’s that all about??
Hmmm, so he is shady! But Taylor obviously already knows all about that.

Taylor married the wrong guy. Russell married the wrong woman.
This is never going to work out.

  21. SoutheastVA says:

I’m in for 30lbs. It should be doable if I cutoff eating after 6:00pm along with eating healthy and exercising. I work with top level soldiers, Marines, Navy and Air Force service members who are always encouraging civilian co-workers to workout with them. The thing is, they ride you so hard and constantly have their eye on you. It’s cheaper than paying for a trainer though.

    • Adgirl says:

I’ll be right there. I’d love for a man in uniform to constantly have his eye on me!

    • quincyil says:

All physical trainer push. They get paid to do that.

    • 2Stupid says:

I’ve tried the not eating past 6:00 and I honestly don’t know how anyone does it that works full time. I don’t usually get home until 6:00 after picking up my children. I will have to make it my low point stuff at night. I would love to just have more energy.

    • buffywood says:

  23. TLM says:

Just watching the RHOOC and Lynn telling Tamra about the process server coming to her house. This exchange was priceless:

Lynn: “The girls called me, and they’re crying, and freaking out, ‘Mom, some man was at our front door, and just threw in a piece of paper. He said, ‘You’ve been served.” ”

    Tamra: “Served with what?”

Served with a filet mignon and a side of broccoli rabe, Tamra. Jesus.

    • Adgirl says:

Served with a side of Duh?

    • Blue Sky says:

I don’t remember them crying in the show, they were hiding from the camera, & didn’t they give the finger to the camera? Those girls aren’t the crying type, unless they are crying to get a car, stay out later, get booze etc. “Thugs in cocktail dresses” is a fitting description of the Curtin spawn! See what happens when the parents are lax & imo dumb (Lynn’s bong vaporized her brain cells!). Lynn just tried to make it sound so dramatic, like it never happened before?! The Curtins were evicted many times.

  24. SoutheastVA says:

I’m married and so are they (mostly). Anyway, they lose their luster when you’re around them so often. I’ve been known to ask a few if their sure they should be trusted commanding equipment worth millions. (We kid all the time. Keeps everything in perpective.)

    • Adgirl says:

I’m married too! But I can look and be looked at! 🙂

Yeah I’m sure there is a lot more testosterone than IQ points there. But same goes for firemen.

  25. boston02127 says:

I too am going to start on a health kick for the New Year. I’ve been eating so poorly that I haven’t been feeling good & have no energy. Today I had tea & sugar cookies for breakfest. A half a bag of Rolo’s at about 11. One of those 99. frozen pizza’s. Coffee ice cream with syrup and about 4 diet Ginger Ale’s. And a half a bag of Gold Fish. I’m not a health freak but I need to start eating better. I’ve been eating like this most of the month and feel crappy.

If anyone has any healthy food ideas fell free to post them on my blog.

Also, has anyone heard from ZipItZarin?

    • quincyil says:

With those dance classes, you will be spectacular.

      • boston02127 says:

@quincyil—I’d like to say I can do beautiful dancing like ballet or even hip hop but all I know is Irish Step & tap. I took lessons for many years. That’s all I’ll be doing.

        • quincyil says:

Really? I learned the Irish tap when I was young. A lady in our town taught children in her garage. I and many cousins would go to her in good weather to practice. We would have shows at family weddings. Our grandmothers made us dresses with their sewing machines.

    • buffywood says:

My biggest issue has always been with not eating enough and never eating breakfast. It makes no sense, every morning I get my 2 year old breakfast, I KNOW I should eat something, but I physically just cannot put food in my mouth. When I was in a routine of eating breakfast everyday I weighted a consistent 138. I typically don’t eat a thing until around 1 or so and I continue to put my body in starvation/conservation mode.

      • quincyil says:

Well, you know a lot about this. When you make the food for the baby, make something for youself and play a game. Everytime, the baby takes a spoonful, you do the same. Laugh and have a good time with it. Maybe, you will enjoy it so much, you will start wanting to have breakfast with your baby.

        • buffywood says:

I have tried, but clearly not hard enough. I know it sounds weird but the thought really makes me sick to my stomach. I have gotten better and force myself to get out two yogurts and let him feed me. It’s a start.

  26. NMhousewife says:

I have a question for anyone in the “know”

Is a new episode of RHWBH on tonight?….and if so, why have they been showing new episodes of BH during this holiday season and not of Atlanta (this past Sunday)?

  27. Rabble Rouser says:

I was just thinking about this today……anyone remember this?

Now google the words “attention whore’ under images- and see what comes up

I know that we have been saying it the whole time but now we have concrete proof.

  28. quincyil says:

I am doing a big nothing for New Year’s Eve. Even so… I doubt that I will stay up to see a larger than life Kim Z. We used to go to movies, but now the movies come to us. I’ll probably check the board to see if you are having a party. LOL..

  29. buffywood says:

I think I may have just determined another fitness goal for myself… run a 5 K on Mother’s Day. I can’t think of a better gift to myself and my family than that. Anyone else?

I’m chuckling at “you should embrace…reality”. No problem there, huh? Happy birthday again to both of you!

    • Mookies1mom says:

Awww! Thank you WSL! I think I have some of those traits. Ohhhh, those youthful mistakes, I made quiet a few of those! Some of my family still seems to think I’m that same person 20 years later. Seems like my entire family are black sheep. My hubby and I took a huge risk last year and moved from one end of the country to another. It failed in one way (we moved for a job for my husband and the company went kaput 8 months later) but has had many other rewards (we love the new place we live).

Kanas Girl, Thanks! I am laughing right along with you. Thanks!

    • OneMoreInBoston says:

happy happy birthday to both of you!

  31. AZ Girl says:

You all just make me crack up. O.K. so Jan. 3rd? That gives everyone time to recover from New Years and a day. Sounds like everyone has some great goals for the New Years starting with NOT LISTENING to Kim Z sing. The previews already have my sound on mute.

TLD I will send the info when you are ready.

HAPPY NEW YEARS! We are staying home this year. Usually we head to downtown Tempe but it is just freaking cold out. Sorry, I am a wimp and not used to 20 degree weather. We have all our plants covered but I am not sure that is going to help tonight.

    • what is the norm at this time of year, AZ?

      • AZ Girl says:

Norm is upper 60’s maybe lower 70’s during the day and the lows at night are in the 40’s maybe 30’s at the worst. Tonight it is expected to be around 19 degrees. The news advised everyone to run their pool pump so our pool pipes don’t freeze. First time in 30 plus years. I really feel for the midwest tourist that are here for the football games.

        • wow. that’s awesome. no wonder everyone there is concerned! that’s some difference in temp. Have you always been in AZ? (sorry if this makes you repeat yourself)

          • AZ Girl says:

Been here for 33 years. We have had a few cold winters but last night was a doozy. Snow fell here in Phoenix area which is really rare.

        • Blue Sky says:

Hey AZ don’t feel sorry for the IOWA fans!!! They know how to handle cold weather. And guess what? They are so pumped seeing IOWA beat #12 Missouri in the Insight Bowl game that they don’t care what the weather is !! Yeah, Go IOWA HAWKEYES!!! Can you tell I bleed black & gold? UI grad, and proud of it.

    • quincyil says:

I have seen palms that were damaged by the cold. You covered with cloth, right? Plastic will transfer the cold and not protect. The only other thing I can think to do if they freeze is to go with a water hose early in the morning. They used to do this to our early fruit trees to try and save the buds.

Good luck… I will cross my fingers that your plants will be ok.

      • AZ Girl says:

I kept the christmas lights on all night under the sheets covering the plants to keep them warm.
I ran my pool pump all night and no pipe froze. Heat pumps are not made for this weather and THAT RAN all night. It was one noisy night.

I thought some of you might want to click this site to help a variety of good causes:

There are additional sites that help different causes, like literacy, breast cancer, child health, hunger, rainforest, as well as the animal rescue. These can be found as tabs near the top of the page. Each time you click the site a bit goes to doing some good to these groups. An example would be over 48,000 free mammograms, or millions of cups of food for animals. There are also little items to buy for gifts etc. They aren’t expensive and a portion of what is sold goes to the charity.
I have this saved and click each daily. I have also purchased some cute things there as well. Maybe those of us on this site could help make a difference with our clicks and support.

Watching BH rerun – Adrian’s university/Kim’s set up date. Paul is so sweet about the university, we did discussed that he usually comes across as needy and she as annoyed, but it all seem sweet also. they have their style somehow, they don’t have extreme issues. Any ways, I noticed that everything they had for the anniversary dinner came from a different country, the wine came from bla bla, the chilis from bla bla, the dog from bla bla.

  34. California35 says:

Junny Weird will be on the Fashion Show on Tuesday – yikes

It was better than the day before, but I was still busy with new work and I wasnt able to do the catch up I wanted. At 4 I finally said good bye. I was so hungry because skipped lunch, so I could get off early. 4 wasn’t early, but at least earlier than usual. Tomorrow is an absolutely close day, yet as I was leaving my boss asked if I could go to the office tomorrow 😦 I probably will – he is the boss and I will get paid. I just didn’t like to hear it because I was so hungry and soooo looking forward to tomorrow off. All week long I kept hoping I would have short days, and nothing.

Ok I feel better now, thanks for asking 🙂 Now I will enjoy my evening now and plan to work 4 tomorrow.

      you know what?

One of our fabulous posters here caught that lie too:

      skogsstig says:

      December 29, 2010 at 8:47 pm

“I aired in an episode of HW of BH that was to say the least, in my opinion, recklessly edited and was not representative of what actually happened that night nor who I am. I was there only as support for my friend Camille who had told me how painful her interaction with the other housewives was and it was making her physically ill. I’m very protective of my friends/family and was there to support my friend.”

Ha. I guess the editors “made her lie” when she said Camille hadn’t told her anything. How reckless of them.”

      skogsstig rocks the Swedish house!

    • Rabble Rouser says:

I love the picture with the cigarette and the capitation “That’s not smoke- that’s ghost running away from her”.

The whole thing of her with that cigarette that the dinner table just revolted me, I don’t care if it was an electronic one. It’s just classless. I think she only brought to out blow smoke up Camille’s ass.

  35. Obsessed with RH says:

As if I weren’t obsessed with reading Lynn’s blog already, my family gave me an iPad for Christmas which has made reading the blogs and comments even easier. Now my addiction can come with me everywhere!!

As fir the previews, I have a feeling that the new housewife is going to team with Jill and may turn into a new mean girl. I agree that there was no need to add an additional housewife because Sonja already filled bethenny’s absence. I hope that Alex, Ramona and Sonja call shrill Jill out on her nonsense if she tries to start with them again…only time will tell.

As for Atlanta, I might be in the minority but I was happy to see Kim own up to and call Phaedra out on baby gate. I am generally not a fan of Kim but it bothered me that the rest of the housewives were perfectly ok with talking about it behind phaedra’s back but wouldn’t own up to it in front of her. I suppose I should get over it to because she didn’t even admit to it when asked on wwhl so I doubt Andy will bring it up at the reunion and even so her answer will probably be that ayden was a prodigy baby defying all laws of human gestation.

Anyway, happy early new year to everyone!!!!

    • Buffywood says:

I am laying in bed playing on my son’s new iPad too!

      • Obsessed with RH says:

        Isn’t it addictive?!!

        • Buffywood says:

It is pretty cool. I used to used my iPhone but this is so much easier. My son loves it! He has a ton of cool games and he is addicted to YouTube.

          • Buffy, I thought your son was 2 yrs old.

            • Rabble Rouser says:

My nephew is two and he has an I-pad. My brother in law got him one because he was tired of him playing with his I-phone.

They are actually using them in therapy for babies with special needs especially those with a condition called CVI (cortical visual impairment) with special apps.

            • buffywood says:

He will three in February. There is a TON of toddler games and he has been playing on our iphones since we was about 18 months old. He has letter, number, shape, color, matching, story, and site word games. It is amazing and he is practically reading. He just loves words.

    • justanothermary says:

I think Kim was totally on calling Phadra on her lie. If you’re such a private person, don’t come on reality tv. I want to hear Phadra say “I lied, I needed to for xxx reason.” Until I hear that she is a POS and BSC.

    • California35 says:

Congratulations on the iPad, I use my BF’s a lot, and like you, I can take it all around the house. I take to the kitchen with a recipe, I put it on the exercise bike, take it to bed. The only problem is that I’m not used to the auto change, and if I don’t pay attention I click on a letter instead of the space bar.

      • Obsessed with RH says:

I had that problem as well because it kept autocorrecting my name on my email. It just makes life so easy because it isn’t like you have to wait for it to startup like a laptop, it is on with the touch of a button. Go figure though, apple is already coming out with a new one in 2011…

  36. California35 says:

BH wives will be back next week, but I think I heard that it will be an hour early.

  37. justanothermary says:

Juat a question: I was told today that I am stage 4 cancer and that there is no such thing as stage 5. I told them that I refuse further treatment. I’d rather have what I have left feeling fairly well. I know this is a very simplistic view of what is happening, am I totally wrong?

    • fluffnstuff says:

Why do you ask that? How can you be wrong? That’s not a yes/no issue, you have to account for so many personal variables that only you will be able to determine what is right for you. And I don’t think that’s simplistic. Nothing about cancer is simplistic.

      • justanothermary says:

I guess I have a lot of thinking to do. OHHHH, my brain hurts!!!

        • quincyil says:

Mary, it’s a difficult decision. I have a close friend with stage 4 lung cancer going through the radiation part now. I love him and his whole family so much. This is his first treatment, but only 15% of the people with his stage of disease makes it for 5 years. I was shown the PET and the cancer was everywhere. I think you try really hard in the beginning, but eventually you make a decision about how you want to live your life. I’m glad that you are here with us and I care about you very much.

        • Mookies1mom says:

I knew you were having treatment but I did not realize that you were stage 3 at that time. I think you can only do what feels right for you and your family. Just make that decision with justanothervirgil, as hard as that will be. Make sure that he and your doctor(s) understand what you do and don’t want.

      • I absolutely agree with fluffnstuff. Only you know what’s right for you.
I must say that your stoicism is unreal to me. You are someone to be greatly admired justanothermary.
I think you may be somewhat in shock?
did you have any idea that you might have cancer?
        I’m sorry. so sorry.

        • zoekayla says:

Mary, You are so kind to allow us to be with you. I admire your desire to get info and to make a good decision. Cancer sucks.

    • OneMoreInBoston says:

oh my babydoll, I love you so much it hurts my heart.

Do you feel that your doctor has carefully explained all treatment options to you and the risk and side effects of each procedure? Do you believe that you understand clearly what you are saying no to?

If you are overwhelmed, and who wouldn’t be? is there a way you can get a patient advocate at your hospital to help you with these major medical decisions?

Occasionally I follow you on twitter- and I know that you haven’t shared as much here as you have there- and I know that you are frightened.

You have also mentioned your prayer group and your priest, are they supporting your decision? And of course the biggest question…justanothervirgil? Where does he stand on this?

Quincy? Sweet Jesus where are you? Please help give me some words of wisdom.

Whatever you decide, you can always come her for companionship and conversation. I wish I had some wise words for you. Just know that whatever you decide, that is the right decision.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Dearest justanothermary – the decision you make is right if you feel it is right because you know your life better than anyone else. You are in our thoughts and prayers and we are all here for you too.

    • klmh says:

There are options if you want to consider them. The percentage of stage 4 breast cancer depends on your type, but 20% make it to the 5 year period. Here is another site to look at:

The problem is, your breast cancer will spread and this causes other problems. Do you feel your family would help you with a decision you would be content with, or do you feel you are the only decision maker?

    • JazzNightOut says:

Mary: Only you can decide what is best for you and your family. Do you have access to a patient advocate or a cancer therapist? My cancer center had both when I was in treatment. It helps to talk to someone who is used to talking about cancer with patients. Your family is too involved. I understand about not wanting more treatment; you have had a lot. At one point, I didn’t know if I could put one foot in front of another one more day. Support helps. I understand as much as anyone but you can what it feels like to have cancer. You are, and have been, in my heart and my prayers. May God bless and keep you close to His/Her heart right now.

      • JazzNightOut says:

Sounds a little weird; sorry: anyone who has or has had cancer understands where you are, but no one but you has your life. I pray that the right answer which will give you peace of mind and heart will come to you.

    • Kansas Girl says:

I don’t know, Mary, but ((((((((((((((((Mary))))))))))))))!

    • neroes says:

Justanothermary, Please contact the nearest hospice. They have a team of doctors, nurses, and counselors. They are wonderful and caring and will assist not only you but your family. God bless you.

    • TLM says:

Mary, I am so sorry to hear this news. My feeling is that only you know what is right for you. Only you know how you feel and what is most important to you.

Coincidentally I just saw this piece on the evening news the other night, and I don’t usually watch the evening news anymore, but it caught my attention. It is with Dr. Tim Johnson and Diane Sawyer. It is about having a discussion with loved ones on end-of-life issues, but also addresses the treatment decision itself. There are other related links on the site.

Another piece that touched me deeply is Keith Olbermann’s Special Comment about his Dad’s desire to end treatment and the discussions they had. http://vodpod.com/watch/3119838-keith-olbermann-special-comment-on-his-father-and-death-panels. Part of it is political, but almost all of it addresses his and his dad’s personal experience as his father was in the hospital and refusing treatment.

I hope that these are helpful in some way. When I am faced with a difficult situation, I often like to hear what others did under those circumstances. But if you prefer not to see them I understand. Please know we are here for you!!

      Dear justanothermary,

Justanothermary. I couldn’t respond to you earlier because I am so bummed to read your post. You are a wise woman full of grace. I am sure you and justanothervirgil will determine together the best journey for you and your family. (((jam)))

      • mariareads says:

justanothermary, I respect your decision but I also encourage you to look into alternative treatments or experimental treatments, if you feel that you are up to it. Cancer is a strange disease and you never can tell what will put it into remission.
Prayers going out to you and lots of warm hugs.

    • boston02127 says:

@justanothermary —-My love, prayers & hugs are with you.

Take care and keep joining us. Big hug 🙂

    • Rabble Rouser says:

I can’t say what the right choice is, I don’t know what you have been through or what you have tried.

I think if it were me, given I have two very young children I would explore every option and maybe start to look at alternative therapies/treatments but without having had gone through the battle- my views are obviously easier said than done.

I’m so sorry to hear about this dx. I remember reading you are catholic, so I think you might take comfort in the power of prayers. You are surely in mine.

    • AZ Girl says:

Oh Mary my heart goes out to you.

    • Waxdiva says:

Justanothermary: I read your post yesterday and kept writing then deleting my comment to you. This one I will send, no matter how it comes out. First, I am so sorry to hear your news. Second, my sister-in-law was dx’d with stage four lung cancer over three years ago. She went through every conceivable treatment, including hyperbaric chamber and medical trials for new cancer drugs. In October she told her doctor that she was done with all the treatments; she went in for her follow-up appointment two weeks ago and the doctor’s office just about fell over. Despite the odds, she looks marvelous and feels great. To look at her you would never guess that she had a cold, let alone cancer.

She and I had numerous conversations about life, cancer, her treatment, etc., and I’ll pass this on to you… she feels that she is doing so well today because of others praying for her. She is not a ‘religious’ or ‘spiritual’ person, but she said that she truly felt something, which she could not describe, after which she started to feel better. She also feels that the holy water I brought her from St. Anthony’s Chapel is protecting her. (http://www.saintanthonyschapel.org/index.cfm?load=page&page=2)

Know this (just had to throw in some humor): I’ll be praying for you and I’d be happy to retrieve holy water from St. Anthony’s for you… just let me know. Also, she said that being a guinea pig for the medical trials was a total waste of time. It turned out that for months she was receiving the placebo drug, time that she could have spent getting actual treatment. She’ll never know if that time would have made a difference or not… and if she were asked to participate again she would not.

I’m going to post this one w/o reading, so excuse any typos…

    • Blue Sky says:

Justanothermary, I love you so much, it’s terrible to hear this news about you. I am praying for you. With everyone on the Lyn Fam board praying, it will help you. ((((((((((((((Justanothermary))))))))))))) You are so strong, one of the best writers I’ve seen here. Keep writing, it’s good therapy. I think your life story would make a marvelous movie, or documentary, especially about the way you were treated with the botched surgery, & finding your beautiful daughter again.

Have you heard about this site in Wisconsin, where the Virgin Mary has been
      Praying for you…love from Gretchen

I missed the birthday party but wanted to wish Rabble Rouser and Mookies1Mom a very happy birthday. Hope you enjoyed the cake and the singing.

    • Mookies1mom says:

I did thank you all very much! But the photo op was tough, I’m glad talent wasn’t required.

I know I’m usually very quite and I wish Rabble Rouser was here to enjoy all this. Maybe she is recovering from to much celebration last night. You know those cheesecake hangovers are rough.

      • Mookies1mom says:

Ok Rabble Rouser I’m a complete idiot. I missed your name on some posts and didn’t realize you had been here today. Please forgive my stupidity. I hope you enjoyed your birthday as much as I did mine. (Head hanging in shame.)

        • Rabble Rouser says:

          Thank You 🙂

I said happy birthday to you too somewhere…but in case you missed it, happy birthday 🙂

          • Mookies1mom says:

I hope you had a happy birthday Rabble Rouser! I feel like such an idiot for missing your posts, or rather not attributing them to you! I guess that’s what happens when I get in a rush to read everyone’s comments.

            • Rabble Rouser says:

I had a nice birthday, DH brought me coffee in bed along with a cinnamon roll with a candle in it. MIL brought Chinese food and FIL and his wife sent me flowers.

My sweet sister sent me a nice watch (hasn’t arrive yet though).

Don’t worry about missing my messages, I have a hard time keeping track of them too. 🙂

Yes, Happy Birthday Rabble Rouser and Moukie’s Mom. And many, many more.

Isn’t Andy’s NYE party pre-taped? Isn’t that what we are seeing in the previews? I have no interest in watching it; I’ll be watching Mrs. Kathy and Andy. 😉

Is anybody else annoyed at the never-ending barrage of “___ by Bravo” phrase.? You know, like “Only by Bravo.” Why “by” Bravo? Why not “on” Bravo? Because they think it’s cool? It’s just annoying.

    Sooo looking forward to RHONYC!!!

Well after realizing all the junk I ate today I went and bought one of those little chickens. It was the market brand not a name brand. I cleaned it & cooked it. It was good but the house still stinks. It smells like farts. And I’m the only one here so I know it’s the chicken. I wonder if it was bad? I ate about a half hour ago. I think I’d be sick by now.

    • Adgirl says:

I never feel bad about eating lean meat (no skin, minimal fat).
Carbs? Yes. But never lean meat.

    • klmh says:

Im sitting here laughing. Are you saying the chicken cooked smelled like farts, or are you saying you have been cutting the cheese because of the chicken? Oh my, thanks for the laughs….

    • quincyil says:

I never eat anything that my nose questions, Boston. If you think something is wrong always toss it out. Your nose is a good judge and food poisoning is awful Watch the dates and clean the refrigerator frequently.

    • OneMoreInBoston says:

do you know how funny you are?

The only time I’ve ever had food poisoning was from a rotissiere chicken from Johnny’s FoodMaster when I lived in C-Town. They just sit for days under those lights…

      if it smells- it goes

  42. TrueLifeDiva says:

    @AZ Girl, please check your e-mail :-).

  43. TrueLifeDiva says:

@boston02127, did you boil the chicken? Did you season it? Baked or broiled chicken always smells soooo good! I know when I boil chicken to make stock it smells like farts 😉

  44. Waxdiva says:

Good Morning! This is funny and just had to share… a recent post re KimG and Tom ‘celebrity magnet’ Murro got a response from him:

If you can think of a title for his category, please add it…

    • quincyil says:

rotfl… I wrote something. I did know know who Tom Murro was. After googling, I didn’t know what celebrity magnet meant.

So… somehow this Tom Murro attracts celebrities and his wife is Kelly. Ok….

I don’t attract celebrities. Sometimes I attract flies in the summer in the barn… sometimes sweat bees..yikes…. Never anyone terribly important like Kim G of The New Jersey Housewives.

Bravo is messing with our reality, ladies and gents. It wants us to believe that these reality stars are unique and are actually celebrities. They don’t pay them much, but they give them fame or infamy in the cutting room of the producers.

I really am not a fan in the sense of being a fanatic… I like some of the Bravo housewives and think they are trying their best to raise families in this economy. Others… I ignore. Even Jill is trying to make a buck so she can buy old suitcases for trips on private planes. Nothing wrong with that.

If I am a fan in the traditional sense of the work, I am a fan of many board members. I see real people who laugh and cry and love and sometimes get angry. I think I love Human beings…and pets and flowers and Az’s Palm trees.
I love our time together. I watch the news and hate what is happening in so many places. Then, I come here and hug and smile.

Thanks to Lynn and to everyone on the board… I mean everyone… even those who just read the blog and posts. Just thanks… I am grateful to you.
