Featuring a Guest Blog on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Reunion from Housewife Fan

But first, Top Chef All Stars:

Mike Isabella is happy Marcel is gone, he’s not alone! Antonia thinks Mike is abrasive and annoying and she has a list, Mike is at the top. Antonia is at the top of my list, I think she’s abrasive and annoying. I happen to think that Mike has mellowed a whole lot since his last appearance on Top Chef, he’s not nearly as annoying as the last round, but I would be ok with him going home right behind Antonia.

I wasn’t a fan of the Quick Fire Challenge. Isaac Mizrahi joined Padma and told the remaining contestants that they were to create a beautiful plate that did not have to be edible, it just had to look good. Are these chefs or artists? I would have preferred if they insisted the plates were edible because many of those dishes looked like they would have gotten someone sick.

I thought for the most part that the plates were ugly and messy, I found Carla’s to be cute, it looked like a tropical scene and even Antonia’s was different, it looked like a forest complete with trees and nuts. I don’t know what prison Angelo had just escaped from, but his dish complete with graffiti on the table looked disgusting.

Anthony Bourdain described it in his blog, it is a must read!

Isaac chose Dale, Tre and Angelo as his bottom three. I don’t know why they continually insist on picking on my Tre, they need to knock it off! Tre’s maybe wasn’t the best but it wasn’t bottom three material either. The top three were Carla, Fabio and Richard. Fabio’s looked like a hot mess complete with a short novel written in the plate.

The winning dish, Richards, looked like a grey dismal mess but Isaac liked it, as with most things Mizrahi, I disagreed with him. Richard has immunity and my prediction is that Richard is going to win this whole thing.

On to the Elimination Challenge, this was really cool, Padma explained about Rao’s restaurant in New York City. An old world legendary Italian eatery, they don’t take reservations but you can rarely get a table as they are passed down from generation to generation. As the three gentlemen responsible for Rao’s success marched in, I had to agree with Fabio, it looked like a scene from the Godfather was taking over the Top Chef kitchens.

The chef’s draw knives to decide which of the three courses they will be responsible for preparing. The Anti-pasti course, or appetizer for us non-Italian’s would be created by the three ladies, Carla, Antonia and Tiffany.

The second course, traditionally a pasta course was the responsibility of Tre, Dale and Mike while the final meat course were chosen by Fabio, Richard and Angelo.

The chef’s had a brief meeting with the men of Rao’s for a question and answer session to learn more about the restaurant and to help them get inspiration for their dishes. Fabio dominated the conversation among his team forcing Angelo to have to ask if he and Richard could please ask a few questions before their short time with these men ran out.

It seemed as though the teams were chosen without the knives as the three Italian chefs in the competition were spread out, each one representing a different course. This would mean the diners should expect at least one fabulous dish in each course.

The chef’s were taken to Whole Foods, as usual and then were given two hours to prep in the Top Chef kitchens before being whisked over to Rao’s to prepare their final offerings.

Ladies first in the kitchen! Carla prepared a hearty minestrone soup and while they all seemed to enjoy it, the restaurant owner commented that he could get a similar quality soup in Wisconsin. I think he may have offended an entire state but I knew what he meant. The soup wasn’t of outstanding quality that you would expect of a high end Italian restaurant, it was simply a good minestrone soup.
Tiffany prepared a beautiful Fluenta that caught fire in the broiler but she was able to salvage enough to serve to the critical diners and judges.

Finally Antonia served , steamed mussels, I wasn’t impressed, this is a dish that I’ve made myself and it is not difficult or complicated at all, in fact, I would think it is difficult to screw up this dish. While Fabio remarked that this is traditionally a French dish, I do know that may Italians prepare steamed mussels as well, moving on…

The three gentlemen responsible for the pasta course all failed spectacularly including the resident Italian, Mike Isabella. Mike’s homemade pasta wasn’t cooked properly, he tried to pass it off as al dente but Chef Tom Colicchio told us with too much egg in the dough it may have never cooked properly. How disappointing for the resident Italian chef on the pasta team.

Dale’s dish looked absolutely disgusting, I don’t know what he was trying to prepare but he failed miserably. Finally Tre prepared the dreaded risotto, a dish that seems to get chef’s sent home more than any other. Antonia remarked that she thought Tre’s risotto wasn’t being cooked properly but I noticed she never gave Tre any advice or assistance.

The last team to serve was the team preparing the final meat course. Fabio, Richard and Angelo.

Richard had immunity but prepared a passable Pancetta that the diners seemed to enjoy. Not a winning dish but no matter, Richard wasn’t going anywhere.

Angelo made a pork dish that got mixed reviews, while some diners/judges really enjoyed it others thought it was just ok.

Fabio prepared Chicken Cacciatore that was a favorite among all the diners, particularly Chef Tom raved about the excellent consistency and flavors. Chef Anthony Bourdain noted that Fabio’s dish brought him back from the dark side into the light.

At the end of the meal the owner of Rao’s toasted to his guests, Chef Tom, Chef Anthony Bourdain and guest judge and actress, Lorrainne Bracco who noted that nobody forgets their first time at Rio’s – Joe Pesshi took her to Rio’s while filming the movie Goodfellas. I noted that Padma wasn’t among those toasted by the guest of honor.

During a scene back at the house the contestants all share, Mike was teaching the others the proper way to prepare a good gnocchi but wasn’t really impressing the other chef’s. Angelo walks into the kitchen and asks, “Is something burning?” to the fits of laughter from the others.

The first group called in to judges table is typically the winners and tonight was no exception, Antonia, Carla, Fabio and Tiffany were all able to breathe a sigh of relief as Padma announced they had the favorite dishes.

Antonia wins this challenge annoying Fabio and Mike as it was not only a simple dish to prepare but they insist it wasn’t an Italian dish. Fabio had put a lot more time and effort into his chicken dish and it was most definitely a traditional Italian favorite. I agree that Fabio took the theme of the challenge much more to heart than some of the other chef’s, including Antonia.

The bottom three, Tre, Mike and Dale also happened to be on the same team and had prepared the “Pasta course”. I think under normal circumstances had this one dish been judged standing on it’s own, Dale or Mike would have gone home. I feel that the judges took into consideration that both Dale and Mike had been winners of previous challenges and may have been stronger chef’s than Tre and therefore chose to send Tre home.

Tre’s risotto was apparently a failure from the way the rice was cooked to the heavy vegetables that topped the dish.

Dale noted that his was a dish that he had prepared in the past for his girlfriend, Guest Judge Lorrainne Bracco noted that if her boyfriend had prepared that for her, he wouldn’t get laid that night. Reason enough to send Dale home?

Mike’s uncooked pasta was a crime against Italian’s and I think he was fully prepared to be sent packing. He had been told that it was completely acceptable to use dry pasta which would have allowed him to focus on the sauce and it may have put him in the top three. This guy is stubborn and should have gone home.

OK yes, I’m biased, I didn’t want Tre to go home so soon. I didn’t expect him to win this whole competition but he’s so hot….comeon!!!

In order to really understand why people are sent home and win these things it is really helpful to read Chef Tom Colicchio’s blogs. Without having tasted any of the dishes, Chef Tom has a great way of explaining the judges decisions to viewers.

Chef Tom explains how Rao’s Restaurant works:

“Rao’s has been in the same location since it first opened in 1896, it has only 10 tables in the entire place, the restaurant does one seating per table per night, and for many decades now, the tables have been spoken for every night of the week.”

Chef Tom added this little gem at the end of his blog:

“From here on in there is nobody left who doesn’t have a huge fan base. Every time we send someone home, I know we’ll be getting a lot of flack.”

From here on in??? I think you might have said that last week because Tre has a huge fan right here Chef Tom and don’t you forget it!!!

Chef Tom doesn’t really disagree with Fabio’s notion that mussels are a French dish, he only explains why it is also used in Italian cooking, having to alter ingredients from one continent to another, these things happen.

As always I highly recommend Chef Anthony Boardain’s blog, this man is hysterical and his blogs are so well written that he could make a book just out of all of his blogs.

And now a blog submitted by a friend on Twitter, she wrote her thoughts on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Reunion episodes, thank you to @HousewifeFan for her insight on the ladies of Beverly Hills:

Hi viewers! I first just want to say this is my first ever blog, and I am very nervous to write this! I want to cover both parts of the reunion, because I have strong feelings for both parts. Okay, here I go!

Part 1:

The reunion starts off with a question about plastic surgery. Lisa answers and says it’s rude to judge somebody the way they look. I agree with her, but let’s face it, only one of the wives has bad plastic surgery, and its Taylor. I honestly want to skip to the Taylor and Kim situation. I personally have very strong feelings on this. In my opinion, at the time Taylor made the Oklahoma comment, it seemed real to me. I honestly think she was threatening Kim, a lot of viewers thought that, so did Kim, and I think Andy too, because if you remember he said ‘’ It seemed real at the time, but it was Kim that you were talking to. ‘’ Kyle is accusing Kim for not having her back in New York, but Kyle didn’t have Kim’s back with Taylor. Family is always first. Am I the only one that got bothered when Taylor turned to Kyle and said ‘’ Should we talk about her state of mind? ‘’ I mean it was obvious that Kyle felt uncomfortable, and I felt bad. I’m just very happy that Kim was standing up for herself. Taylor just irritates me, I can’t stand her, I hate her. She’s the most hated housewife in my book. I really hope Kim comes back for Season 2, because I love her, and I think that in the next season, she can now stand up for herself. I also hope that in next season Kyle starts seeing the real Taylor, because [ in Kim’s words ] Kyle is faked by Taylor. This is really all I wanted to cover on part 1 of the reunion. The Kyle vs. Camille thing is getting old, and would just be a waste of my time to even write about.

Part 2:

Okay, now onto part 2. I was really emotional during part 2 of the reunion. When the question of Kyle being a bully came up, Lisa quickly came to her defense, but Camille turned to Kim and told her she thinks Kyle bullies her. Andy asked Kim, and it seems like Kim needed a moment to think about it, but then she said no. Kyle then said that she gives tough love to Kim. Um.. I wish I had a sister! I would never give her tough love, and I would always be on her side no matter what. Just saying. Anyway, then Kim and Kyle both began to tear up, and Kim admitted that she thinks Kyle can be a little tough on her sometimes. I agree with Kim. I was very happy to see Kyle ask Camille to switch seats, so she could be closer to her sister. Andy was so right to turn to Taylor and say she started the fight, because she clearly did. Taylor laughed and said ‘’ What fight did I start this time? ‘’ Hon, it’s not a laughing matter. You broke two sisters apart. Then, Kim’s drinking problem comes up. When Andy turned to Kyle and asked, Kyle said it’s not up for discussion and that it’s private. When Andy asked Kim, she also didn’t want to answer. I think Kim was right not to answer, it’s her personal life, and problems, and if she wants to come out and talk about it, then she will when she feels the time is right. I personally think you shouldn’t judge a person if they’re an alcoholic, because first of all we don’t even know if Kim is one, and second of all, they can be very sweet. Kim is so nice, sweet, beautiful, etc. Okay, the whole Cedric crap is so disturbing to me. Lisa is so sweet, caring, and she wears her heart on her sleeve. Cedric totally played her, when her and Ken treated him like he was their own son! Cedric is a total con. I don’t believe his whole family story. Lisa was getting emotional, because she cared for him. She even tried to defend him by saying he did work at Villa Blanca, but Adrienne said ‘’ there you go, see, you’re defending him. ‘’ Lisa agreed with her. I think it was obvious from the first episode that Cedric is a liar. Atleast, it was to me. I honestly don’t even want to write about him, because it’s a waste. Nobody cares for him. Enough. I think it was sweet of Camille to apologize to Kyle. I was kind of hoping they would hug…haha. I think all the housewives have regrets about this season, well not Adrienne, because she wasn’t involved in the drama. In all, this was a great season. I loved it, and can’t wait until season 2!

Well there’s my blog! I hope you guys enjoyed it, please give me feedback! If you enjoyed my blog, you can follow me on Twitter- @Housewivefan18 . Below I’m going to post some tweets from the housewives that I think you guys will find interesting….

@TheRealCamilleG No,somebody who works in production.

Taylor wrote this tweet—

Regrets…we need an entire hour for this topic. Sorry Kim.

And this one—–

Thank you. It makes me feel horrible reliving my troubles with Kim

Great blog, Housewifefan18. I think Taylor’s tweeting her apology to Kim is too little and too late. The damage is done. The pain Kim felt will continue for ages. I don’t like Taylor Armstrong or whatever her name is.

    • firepainter says:

Yes! Taylor was so ready to jump on the “let’s all gang up on Kim and out her as an alcoholic” bandwagon.

      • Rabble Rouser says:

Obviously,Taylor’s apology is stemming from the backlash she is getting. It is not sincere.

Camille obviously got an opportunity to redeem herself at the reunion because the Dinner Party from Hell aired before they shot that but we have seen her in her blogs and in the series apologize before and at least admit the role she played in the chaos.

Taylor has just been relentless with Kim and never owned up to anything. Remember when Kim gave her and Kyle jewelry from her collection (in honor of her mother) and Taylor’s talking head said she expected an apology? Even back then, I thought this bitch is out of her mind. I wish Kim channeled Tabitha Coffey and offered her a “Here is your apology- F*** OFF”.

      @Q, ITA & TX Lynn 4 a gr8 blog……….:0)

  2. Butters'Mom says:

I too was sad to see Tre go. He is a good chef and such pretty eye candy. I am rooting for Carla for the win. Always loved her and I want a chick to win. If not her then Richard whom I also always liked.

  3. WindyCityWondering says:

The quick fire challenge was annoying! Since when does a dish not have to be edible? Creativity in plating something that you want to eat would have made it interesting. The black sunday looked like dirty snow with yesterday’s garbage veggies thrown on top.
Ah risotto – a staple in my house. My 11 year old can prepare it properly! He shot me a look of pure horror when he saw Tre’s version. While chefs have their particular specialties, a top chef should be able to prepare the simple staples of many cuisines. It was not amusing to see the pasta course mangled so badly. Sadly Tre is gone – he was enjoyable to watch. His departure will change the dynamic in the kitchen.

An explanation from Sheree about the handicapped parking scene:

    http://www.bravotv.com/the-real-housewives-of-atlanta/season-3/blogs/sheree-whitfield/all-money-isnt-good-money

    Glad she explained it.

  5. error404 says:

A lot of people keep warning Kyle about evil Taylor. Perhaps it’s true that the savy and experienced woman is clueless when it comes to obvious manipulators. Or, perhaps it’s poor social climbing Taylor’s who’s taken one for the team.

If Kyle has any nice words to say about her sister, it’s juts a shame Bravo didn’t catch any of them on film. Taylor is like a wounded bird who Kyle strokes and coos over whenever she confides her troubles. Every party scene starts with Kyle bad mouthing her sister to her friends before Kim even arrives.

When Kim tried to shift the heat off of Kyle in NYC, and onto Taylor, Kyle refused to accept the life vest. The plan could have been to make Camille go off on poor Kyle, the hapless victim of an absurd attack. Stupid Kim was foiling the plan. Taylor threatens Kim and Kyle not only doesn’t defend her sister, but instead rages at her for some stupid reason.

Why did Lisa suggest that Taylor speak to Kim? Her main issue was Taylor’s involvement is getting Camille upset. How would speaking to Kim improve the Camille vs. Kyle fight?

At the finale party, Kyle is so obsessed with keeping Kim’s secret, that she goes around telling everyone, on camera, that Kim’s drunk. Gee Kyle, maybe the CIA might be interested in giving you a job. You’re obviously very good at keeping secrets.

Lisa suggest a talk with drunk Kim. Taylor starts a fight and suddenly Lisa and Kyle are right there all screaming at Kim for picking a fight with Taylor. Lisa suggests that Kyle shouldn’t trust Lisa, and van der Pump is about to go all EastEnders on her ass before Kim quickly shuts her down with a retraction.

Kyle is so fearful that her sister’s secret will come out, that she hurries herself on camera and screams it out at the top of her lunges. Because Kyle has Kim’s back like that. She’s like a mother to Kim, and that’s why she saved Kim the trouble and shame of exposing herself. Poor selfless Kyle had to expose Kim for her, that’s how useless Kim is.

So, post limo fight, which both sisters are shopping around is the worst fight they’ve ever had despite the public knowing full well that it was just a typical Saturday night int he Richards/Hilton clan. Post fight, Kyle is so cut up over what happened to her poor sister that she can’t eat or sleep or poo. All she can do is visit PR reps, give interviews to tabloids, and twitter. So sorry and ashamed over the fight is Kyle, that she shows up to the reunion, sits as far away from her sister as she can get, and makes faux lesbian love to the woman who twice insulted her sister. Because she has Kim’s back like that.

As agreed upon previously, Kyle won’t mention Kim’s drinking. As agreed upon previously, Lisa and Taylor will mention it every 5 minutes. Kyle promised Kim SHE wouldn’t say anything. She never promised Kim her girlfriends wouldn’t.

As agreed upon previously, Kyle won’t talk about the limo fight.

“What Andy? No I won’t talk about the scene where Kim lied and said she supported the family. No, I’m sorry Andy, Kim lying that she bought our house is personal family stuff, and I refuse to discuss it.”

    Poor poor Kyle.

    • firepainter says:

Ha! Spot on. Kim needs some help in seeing and removing the knife from her back that Kyle has firmly planted there.

    • Pantry Viewer says:

Ha! Love it, Error. You’ve nailed it.

    • Amber...Real Wife says:

I think Lisa wanted the Kim/Taylor fighting to stop because each kerkuffle brought Taylor and Kyle closer together. Every fight between those two had Kyle defending Taylor against Kim’s “attacks”. Taylor, in her role as the victim, would loudly remind all that Kim didn’t defend Kyle’s honor, drowning out Kim’s claims that it was Taylor’s chat with Camille that started the NYfight in the first place. Kyle seeing Taylor’s anger at Kim for not clearing her name, has found a devoted #2. She ignores Kim’s allegations as Kim doesn’t get along with anyone and is always jealous of all of Kyle’s fabulous friends. Meanwhile, Lisa is about to bust a vessel, as Kyle and Taylor get closer and she’s left supplying wine and ambiance in position #3.

    • Brigid A. says:

Was it Kim’s secret Kyle was safeguarding that night or her own possible “drinking all god-damn day” secret? We may never know because now any discussion of the limo scene between the sisters is off-limits. I think this could be more beneficial for Kyle than Kim. There has been no satisfactory explanation of Kyle ordering people to prevent Kim from leaving that party. Kim wasn’t driving so no DUI worries. Kyle then entered the limo herself to keep a lid on something, screamed over Kim at the end and made a very hasty exit.

Not only was Kim’s accusation edited out of the scenes shown at the reunion, Andy let it fly under the radar, too. Andy always does this, either because he has personal favorites or because he regards Kyle as the draw for the next RHOBH season?

      • nathania says:

are right about that, Andy definitely has favorites. He may have to switch allegiances since Lisa VDP won the favorite of RHOBH for the season, by a whopping 49%. The other half of the pie was left to the other ladies. if I remember right Kyle and Adriene got 17 %, Kim 11% and then Camille whose percentage I can’t remember and Taylor at 1 %. I was actually suprised that Taylor is ANYONE’S favorite. 4 % of the general population are sociopaths so maybe the ones that watch WWHL made up Taylor’s fan club.

I would like to address the House issue. It galls me that Andy can just blankly as someone “do you have a drinking problem” (and not just because it’s a tacky@ss thing to ask, but because it’s andy coholic asking the question in the first place), but he won’t touch the house question, which I can assure you that most of Bravo’s viewership found far, far more interesting than the damn ‘mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the drunkest of them all’ question.

that was a great summation, error, of Kyle’s relationship with, or should I say, to, Kim, with all it’s maneuverings. Kyle can’t seem to grasp that is goes both ways…just as the public saw through Camille when she was acting kooky, the public sees through Kyle as well.

  6. AZ Girl says:

Quickfire Challenge was a joke. Mizrahi has no business judging a cooking challenge. It was dumb. Elimination was great. Love the background information on Rao’s. I was really disappointed by the reaction of Mike and Fabio on Antonia’s win. I expect the chef’s to be more gracious. Personally that dish looked yummy. You can tell how well it went over by everyone at the table “digging” in for more of the mussels.
I am excited that there are still 3 remaining women in the challenge. I expect Tiffany to go next.

    • quincyil says:

There is a type of food that is just for the photographers to shoot. I remember reading that they used a thinned white glue to look like milk in a commercial because milk looked blue in photos. I bet there are chefs that make the foods for those photo shoots.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

ITA – The guys were rude to not congratulate Antonia and then to go another step further and mock her dish. It would be cool to see a woman win it all but Richard seems to be hitting his stride. One mistake and anyone can go home now…..
LOL – my husband who sits on the couch with his Blackberry and swears he doesn’t watch “any of those Bravo shows” is asking for mussels and gnoochi for dinner!

      • Golden Girl says:

ITA AZ Girl, Mike was sitting there happy with himself in the stew room telling Tiffany that her food didn’t meet the requirements by saying that her dish was not an antipasti dish. Then when Padma asked for the first 4 to go up to the judges table he really thought that the losers were going up first.

        • AZ Girl says:

Personally I think Mike I. needs to. Join the IHJZ Losers Club. Man he has gotten huge

        • Rabble Rouser says:

I think Mike was in pure denial- he knew his pasta was way undercooked. The look on his face when Padma didn’t say his name in the elimination spoke volumes.

    • Rabble Rouser says:

I wouldn’t expect Fabio to be gracious about it, he got robbed.

While I am no master chef, how hard is it to cook some muscles? They open when they are cooked.

      TEAM FABIO

  7. Scorpiosue1102 says:

I have to say that I was sad to see Tre leave the competition, but he hasn’t been consistently good this season as compared to his other season. Carla is my dark horse. The lady prepares good food all the time. I’d say Richard, Carla and Angelo are my top three. The rest of the competitors are so tough that one bad or even ok dish will send you home.

  8. Butters'Mom says:

A large dose of error404 snark today! Loved it!!

  9. AZ Girl says:

I watched the video clip of the “godmother” question to Adrienne. I may be completely wrong but I do think that Taylor has been trying to worm her way into the lives of the women on the show who have money, serious money i.e. Adrienne, Lisa, Camille and Kyle. Money that can be invested into Taylor and Russell’s “ventures”.
Taylor’s nodding “yes” to Adrienne when Andy presents the question is very telling. Adrienne’s response was excellent. Adrienne look to Taylor was to me a “don’t f**K with me Taylor I am on to you” look.

    • quincyil says:

Being a godmother is a life long commitment. Taylor must have told Bravo that Adrienne was Kennedy’s godmother to make it look like they had a greater bond than just neighbors and friends. When do you baptize a child in Beveryl Hills? We do it to babies here in Western IL.

      • Rabble Rouser says:

Unless someone suddenly finds religion, I never heard about it happening later in life.

My oldest was about a year and half- but part of the reason it took so long is that I didn’t get my immigration visa till she was 8 months ( I agreed to have her baptized in the US at my MIL’s request/insistence/demands) – then once were were settled in the US, I need to work with my family who was flying in on a date that worked for them.

    • HD says:

No, AZ Girl, you are not wrong. You are 100% right in my book. If she is sooooooooo close to Kyle why wouldn’t she ask Kyle? Doesn’t she have close friends? Adrienne and Taylor didn’t even seem very close on the show. She just wanted to associate herself to someone with money. Similiar to Teresa on NJ. I think she did that (asked Dina to be the godmother)so she could feel like she was an “official” part of the Manzo family.

      • quincyil says:

Kyle converted to Judaism. I bet Taylor is Christian and so is Adrienne.

      • Rabble Rouser says:

I don’t know about other Christian faiths, but in the Catholic faith Godparents MUST be Christian- and at least one of them HAS to be Catholic.

I don’t think the Jewish religion has those restrictions because I read Dean Martin was Tori Spellings godfather.

    • Kellita says:

That clip was hilarious! It seems mighty suspicious to me that Taylor decides her (already) 4yo suddenly needs a godmother. Instead of asking a close friend or relative, she asks the multi-millionaire that she knows from school and the show. Hmmm…. I wonder if Taylor got the idea from Teresa, after viewing RHNJ.

    • Brigid A. says:

Taylor was caught in an outright lie. I’ve always suspected Taylor’s claims of frienship with Adrienne. The “godmother” comment by Taylor suggested a friendship dating back 3-4 years at least. That video scene was priceless, Taylor caught offguard and finally registering some surprise in that rubber face. And I wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end of that “look” from Adrienne!!

    • ches says:

I played the beginning of that clip at least 5 times. It never gets old. I remember reading or watching where Taylor states that Adrienne “is” K’s godmother. Not “I asked her to be and she hasn’t said yes yet” Godmother. I really think Taylor thought Adrienne was going to say yes. By the look on Andy’s face I think he loved it too.
And Quincy, Rabble is right. I was raised in an large extended Catholic family. 12 years of Catholic school. So really, unless there are extenuating circumstances baptism is performed on babies. My brother-in-law was baptized before he married my sister but that was because he converted.
The story is, if you don’t get baptized your soul won’t get into heaven and when you die you will spend all of eternity in purgatory. Although I think, since I finished school, they did away with purgatory, so don’t ask me what theoretically happened to the people who were already there. No idea!
So you really want a baby to be baptised ASAP. Just in case. My mother threw a fit because I waited until my kids were about 6 months old.
And yes, a Godparent is usually a very close friend or relative, a sibling or someone you have known for years and years.
And I don’t think I know anyone who has been asked to be a Godparent and needed to think about it. I find that very telling.
It’s a spiritual thing rather than a custody thing. I think Taylor thinks of it as a material thing with visions of Adrienne visiting Kennedy every year on her birthday with a huge expensive present.
If Adrienne says yes, you can bet Taylor will milk that for all she can get out of it.

      • Rabble Rouser says:

I thought purgatory is where someone went to burn off venial sins and limbo was where babies/children with no sin who were not baptized went.

        • Rabble Rouser says:

and yes- I am sure Taylor only offered to secure a spot in Aidrianne’s life.
That’s why my sister and BIL are my kids godparents because we are family till the end.

        • ches says:

I thought they did away with Limbo years ago. But maybe I’m getting the two of them mixed up. What you are saying makes sense now that I think about it. Like I said it’s been awhile. I do know for a fact though, that I will most likely be going to hell so I really don’t have to worry about the other places. 🙂

I agree Tre shouldn’t been send home. Mike should of been sent home, not only he is no eye candy like Tre, but for crying out loud he has all the experience in Italian food. For him to cook bad pasta is a crime!!!

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Mike really fell on the sword over his inedible pasta – his remorse, apologizes and humbleness (an act? who knows). IMO his demeanor is what saved him from going home. Tre defended his risotto and basically told the judges they don’t know risotto – if he had acknowledged what they were telling him and thanked them for their comments….he might still be there. When you serve a subpar dish to the judges you don’t defend it – you learn from it.

Hate to see Tre leave, as he was my favorite dish, but love to watch him go! That is one sexy chef! Sigh. Oh well there’s still…nope. Eye candy is gone. But now that my distraction is gone, I can root for Carla and Richard.

    BH
When asked if Kyle was a bully, Kim refused to answer the question truthfully. Instead she said Kyle could be a little tough on her. Understatement of the franchise! Then when Camille said she’d witnessed Kyle bullying Kim, Kim was silent and here comes Lisa the BritishLieDetector, saying she wont have Kyle labeled a bully. BITCH please! She doesn’t bully YOU ATALL!!! She would if she could, but SHE DOES BULLY HER SISTER!! Camille didn’t label her, mother nature did! Kyle’s not evil, she was just born that way!

To say there is a competitive streak in Kyle would be an understatement. She gave Kim a verbal smackdown by saying Kim exaggerated when stating she supported the family as a child. She said her dad was successful and SHE also was a CHILD ACTOR. (BTW she forgot to mention LittleKathy was an actress too.) How dare she compare her career and earnings to Kim’s. Like wasn’t she the mute kid sister on LHOPrairie? Her lines were actions like “nod” “smile” “look confused” “walk with Laura”. I mean NellieOlsen’s kid brother had more lines!! LOL Furthermore, boardmembers have said her dad lost his job and left when she was 2. Way to belittle your sister, her career and accomplishments Kyle. Good job.

I noticed she mentioned nothing about the house and the car though. Just that Kim wasn’t the sole support. Kim, meanwhile, chose to look off into the lights and think happy thoughts. I wish Andy would have asked Kim if she agreed, that she’d embellished her earnings and its uses. THAT would have been AWESOME…IF Kim would’ve responded truthfully. It seemed Kim was trying to mend fences while Kyle and Co. (the Brit and the twit) were trying to still blame Kim’s drinking as the cause of all that was wrong in Beverly Hills. While we believed Kim when she said she didn’t want to talk about that night or the allegations made, Kyle’s refusal to discuss the events was negated by her eyes and body language. Her eyes were pleading Andy to keep pressuring her, saying “I want to talk but this alcoholic is forcing me to remain quiet. I’m being victimized by her Andy, can’t you see how she’s controlling me?! Do something you cockeyed loon! Look she’s even forcing a hug on me, this is ABUSE! She’s the abuser and the bully!” End Scene. Andy didn’t do shit and Kyle went back to her original seat, far away from her sister, the first seat on the mean girls couch.

    • Brigid A. says:

Personally, I thought Kim was spectaculoar on both reunions. She looked good, her expressions were mostly neutral except for reactions to Taylor’s provocative remarks, and she seemed poised. Yes, she did hesitate and stumble in a few responses, but unlike Kyle, Kim tries to think before speaking. Kyle, Taylor and even Lisa use that pause to talk over her which flusters Kim.

Clearly, the sisters had some pre-reunion agreement that certain topics were off-limits. I also think Kim’s silence for the most part is extremely smart. She has more PR sense than her sister who can-not-shut-up. Kyle’s body language/expressions revealed a lot of hostility, and she couldn’t even get the tears to flow when she tried to show emotion.

      • Amber...Real Wife says:

I though Kim’s performance at the reunion was terrific. She appeared very forgiving to Kyle, wanting to move on from the brutal insults and disagreements. She even apologized to Taylor which I felt was so unnecessary. Kyle, on the other hand came off as phony towards her sister and mean, spiteful and vindictive against Camille. She really does have an anger management problem when she wont accept an apology even dismissing an offer of friendship, from her husband’s client. Now this isn’t Camille saying she can’t get along or that Mauricio’s wife is rude, it’s Kyle herself proving she’s angry, argumentative, and confrontational. A grudge keeper.

Also did anyone catch the crestfallen/disappointed look Kyle had when she realized that Camille wasn’t attending LipsArmstrong’s birthday party. I think she was planning one last on-camera blow out in her spandex dress. When left sans adversary and without conflict, she was so irritated that she lashed out at Kim, then prevented her from leaving so she could get her closeup.

        • nathania says:

          wow, that’s a good point.

The producers may have encouraged her, that this is ‘her’ show, and she needs to end the season with ‘her’ moment defining the episode. They didn’t count on the backlash.

I believe now more than ever that Bravo producers stir the pot, after it was noted above that a producer or PA told Camille about the women looking at her porn in the limo.

Thank you for sharing your point of view Housewviesfan! It really was an interesting perspective!

This is an off topic question; Did Jill Zarin have a breast reduction after season 1? lol.

    • Noreen says:

Actually, I think Zarin did have a breast reduction. It is covered in Season 2. She is still hideous; Mean is never beautiful

    • Brigid A. says:

Vincenzo, yes, Jill did claim she had a breast reduction but I don’t recall which season. Which begs the question, did you notice it? LOL!!!

      • VincenzoNewYork says:

        @Noreen and @Brigid A: Thank u for answering..
I did notice…she had a huge bust and was akwardly dressed in season one. I never noticed it until I compared her bust on the Season 3 reunion to her bust in season 1…sometimes we don’t pick up on things lol or forget.

        • Brigid A. says:

Vincenzo, IMO she still has a huge bust post-reduction! Maybe she’s using a different tailor because her clothes seem to be fitting better.

    • lillybee says:

She said that she went from a 32 JJ to a 34 DD.

      • Brigid A. says:

I’m speechless. Doesn’t a breast reduction apply to CUP size, not band size? Did Jill have the surgeon remove a few ribs, too?? Jill-speak translation: 36JJ to 36DD, and I’m being kind.

  13. Noreen says:

I just went on Bethenny’s twitter and noticed her background picture of the Skinny Girl Tour buses. How wonderful for her. I love her and am so glad she is doing well with her business. And I get the added benefit knowing that her success is killing Jill and the Lunatic Kelly. Poor Kelly is trying to celebrity climb by tweeting Justin Bieber and promote Kellade as a “sport drink” before yoga. The girl is a mess.

Is there any money left in Miami after the bottom fell out of the housing market? Wow, just what we need another group of women who will bring their own neuroses.

Well as of Tuesday Bravo is now Comcast and they are looking for any manner to make money off of NBC.

Too many of these shows will destroy the franchise.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Wow, I feel like Bravo is sliding this one in under the radar – where was the hype? We couldn’t wait for BH with the build up Bravo gave it. Even DC got more promotion.

      So they are moving RHNY??

        • Brigid A. says:

Will probably have to pass on watching Miami. I’m suffering PTSD from the BH season. NY has always been my favorite. Besides, isn’t Miami a little too similar to OC and LA? Lots of sunshine, plastic surgery, Barbie types, etc.

        • Golden Girl says:

I think I may have to pass on this one, I was geared up for NY and to move RHNY and slip this one in instead has housewived me out. I’ll just read the recaps besides that ladies face is just to horrible to look at.

    • Rabble Rouser says:

I’m not sure if I am in for this one. I think my DH is going to lose it if I add another HW show to mix.

From the trailer- everyone looked unsavory and unlikable.

What did the Lion Face old woman say? It sounded like she told someone to get an abortion?

  15. Anne says:

Fabio should have won. The pollo alla cacciatora con polenta is pure old world Italian and served north to south of Italy. Rao’s tries to be old world Italian and that fits in much better than a Belgian dish, that when you go to Brussels you can have mussels with fennel and wine everywhere because either with beer base or wine is a national staple of Belgium. Also, it is very French as Fabio stated.

They just didn’t want to give the win to an actual Italian who studied and trained in Italy. There was no way for Fabio to have won that challenge in my opinon because of his cooking style and his citizenship.

I was completely surprised that Tom has never been south of Rome. It is odd to me since I know his restaurants in NYC very well. Colicchio’s & Sons next to Del Posto in Meat Packing is only southern Italian. Actually Colicchio & Sons is based on Calabrian cusine and little else. A man cooks Calabrian cusine as the base of his restaurant has never been to Calabria, that is totally nuts in my opinion. Maybe that is why when it opened it receive mixed reviews.

Antonia needs to curb her enthusiams against NJ because Tom is from NJ.

    Fabio should have totally won!

Tres’ risotto looked like bland swill on a plate. One I don’t like this partial cooked risotto because it should be totally made to order. When you go any where that is good they tell you it will be at least 20 to 30 minutes for the risotto because it is truly made to order.

Mike was a nut to have made rigatoni. Pasta needs to be dry most of the time. This is not ravioli or gnocchi this is rigatoni, so it needs to be dry.

Fabio was robbed. His dish was a beautiful family style rustic Italian dish was amazing.

    • Katie says:

I think it just didn’t taste as good as Antonia’s dish. Antonia is Italian by the way. I’m Italian and mussel dish has been in my family forever.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Sometimes the classics are judged the harshest because of an individual judge’s preference and how well they sell their vision in their judging session.

    • error404 says:

LOL! I totally misinterpreted the title. They meant “not going anywhere” as in the show will not be cancelled. I had assumed they meant “not going anywhere” as in it’s all played out and none of them are doing anything interesting or “TV worthy” with their lives.

  16. Pantry Viewer says:

Wowsa! That look Adrienne gave Taylor regarding the godmother question was awesome! A little bit of Taylor’s own “thread softly” eye threats given by Adrienne was interesting.

  17. BostonGirl says:

Thumbs up Error404! So many seem to project their personal experiences with alcoholics in their lives on to Kim & Kyle. While that is tempting I just don’t get how you develop the scenarios when we haven’t a clue what’s really going on with them. All we know is what we see and that is Kyle’s behavior to her sister is unacceptable and definite bullying! We’ve all had sisterly fights and they can be mean and cruel but then we grow up and we wouldn’t publicly hurt or embarrass them for any reason. Kyle has not grown emotionally, she’s still fighting her little girl battles. Kim is hurting and vulnerable and may well have a substance abuse problem but Kyle is only adding to it, not helping in any way. I think Kyle’s problem is much worse than whatever Kim’s may be. Her husband and children must have witnessed her behaviour, how do they condone it?

    • klmh says:

One of the running story lines since the beginning of the BH series that we have been following hasn’t changed its course in as many episodes. It has been substantiated by not only other articles written about Kim, that can be found on the internet and date as far back as the 1990’s, but it has also been mentioned by other cast members, including her sister. Some of us can recognize the s/s of substance abuse better than others and some of us can relate to the frustration etc., of both Kim and Kyle, because of our life experiences, and they are our own opinions of the situation. I do not see this as setting up at scenario, but to each his own.
What I find interesting is that you feel we need to know is that Kyle’s behavior is unacceptable and she is a bully. This is your scenario that you have set up imo. This is where our opinions matter, those of us that expressed concern and compassion to both Kim and Kyle, because we can understand both sides of the story. I suppose the important part to this is their sisterly relationship cannot be duplicated or replaced by anyone, ever again. There has been some permanent damage to their relationship because they decided to resurface into the limelight. In my opinion, jealousy and competition reign in this relationship from both parties. I just hope they find out how important and how lucky they are to have one another.

      • WindyCityWondering says:

Thanks klmh – it is the Richards sisters cross to bear and there has been inklings in the gossip media outlets for many years that hinted at what many here don’t want to believe could be possible. I want to believe they will mend their relationship and both will get the help they need. Perhaps neither should have done RHBH but both deserve compassion. So perhaps it is time to agree to disagree.

        • klmh says:

Yes, and I appreciate all remarks and opinions, esp. from people with similar experiences in their lives. It can sometimes explain a lot, imo of course. 🙂

I’m on the same page klmh..watching that sister relationship unravel was painful…it’s also a huge eye opener for me reading the diverse reactions that are commented on here….now I need to go out and dig myself out of my driveway. Stupid snowplows leave a two foot high hard crusty snowbank right across my driveway….oh well 😛

      • ms molly says:

        Ooooh !!!!! Thank you!!!!

      • nancy says:

Thank you, klmh my thoughts also. We seem so quick to say Kyle is a bully. Are we here using this “buzz” word too much? Hust my thoughts.

      • nathania says:

I didn’t see this as a running storyline until the final episode when Kyle accused Kim of being an alcoholic. I had wondered if Kim might have nerve problems or be on pills because of her nervous behaviors, but that was something I never felt was insinuated on the show until the end, it was just my observation. I am not sure that “bullying” is good terminology, my assessment of Kyle’s treatment of Kim would be consistent verbal abuse, designed to undercut Kim’s self-esteem. “Bullying” is a label I would apply to the behavior of someone like Teresa Guidice, as plodding and ham-fisted as she is, Kyle is subtle and calculating. I would guess that it’s been open season on Kim via Kyle her entire adult life, or at least since big Kathy’s passing.

For the record, I feel it needs to be stated that whatever you may do for someone in terms of financial assistance, IN NO WAY does that give you the right to verbally abuse them, interfere in their relationships with children, friends and acquaintances as an attempt to paint them as incompetent, or slander them mercilessly behind their back. I don’t think it’s so much that some people are less adept at recognizing addiction as that they understand that that in no way makes one a justifiable target of an ax to grind. If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen, as the saying goes…applying this to Kyle, if she can’t help her sister out (or return the good favor we all know was bestowed on her via Kim’s work in movies as a child) without taking subtle and devious revenge, then she doesn’t need to “help” her sister at all.

        • klmh says:

We can agree to disagree, but calling Kyle subtle and calculating isn’t the way I would describe her. Just the opposite really, as I think she’s a hot head that speaks first and thinks later. jmo

        • klmh says:

Also, you proved my point. I noticed a problem with Kim in the first or second episode because of my past. Many others here did as well. And the tension between sisters can be seen in the first episode. I think it was after the 1st episode that I wrote this would become disastrous, and it was, for both of them.
As far as anyone being abused, you have a choice, even in a sister relationship. Walk away. If the relationship is that toxic, either can walk, but that won’t happen. Their sister bonds are too strong, and they feed off of each other. Both are to blame for their relationship deteriorating before our eyes. Hope this show has given them some insight into their toxic behavior, and I hope they seek help in whatever way possible.

I watched part of the BH reunion show and have read several recaps.
I still dislike Camille but did appreciate seeing her kindness to Kim. But I have to wonder if it was done to spite Kyle. I have no respect for Kyle anymore. Her behavior toward her sister is inexcusable. You NEVER take sides against family! Taylor makes my skin crawl.

I was sorry to see Tre was elimated.

The following is a subset blog of the “I Hate Jill Zarin” blog buried in the bowels of the IHJZ board. This subset blog is designed to entertain the members of the IHJZ board and to give Jill Zarin a bright spot to stop when she is searching the daily posts on this blog.

The “I Love Jill Zarin” blog on the prairie by quincyil

Every celebrity knows members of the press. Jill Zarin told us that in the third season reunion of the “Real Housewives of NYC” when she was confronted by Alex McCord and Bethenny Frankel for “planting” stories in the press. Jill did not deny her gift for getting her words out there. In the beginning of season two, Jill told us that she planted a story in Page Six of the New York Post about Simon being a falling down drunk. Jill and Gloria, Jill’s mom, felt that the article was justified because Simon had slighted Jill saying that Jill sounded like she came from Long Island. Jill also said that Simon had an Australian accent which in the minds of Jill and Gloria was a lesser location to be from than Long Island. Jill has mastered the use of the press and has developed long lasting relationships with reporters at Page Six.

Jill has other friends in the media. Last June 4th, Jill spent a wonderful day as an intern at the Gawker. Jill lurked for the day learning how to monitor the comment section of a powerful gossip web site while making life long friends with the staff of that site.

While Jill Zarin is in Costa Rica, some members of the elite Team Jill Zarin are in NYC tweeting their little hearts out. Thanks to a thinner, younger IHJZ board member, I have a tweet from Jill’s close friend Kelly in response to gossip about one of the real housewives.

BLIND ITEM, PAGE SIX (NY POST GOSSIP PAGE)

Which television diva who brags nonstop about her svelte body is secretly addicted to laxatives?

    Read more: http://www.nypost.com/p/pagesix/just_asking_HYuZrH0ZMmR1d2eywXiCzH#ixzz1CtjuDf31

    Kelly tweeted:

@cw2929 the blind item in #nypost PageSix isn’t about me, its about someone else who talks about eating a lot. Hmmmm

Well, I am absolutely sure this tweet from Kelly is not about Jill Zarin. Jill Zarin is on vacation and she is isolated somewhere in Central America at a rented, very expensive villa. Kelly would never leave Team Jill Zarin because she is the faithful friend of Jill Zarin. Besides, I reported that Jill Zarin is not tweeting about the foods that she eats right now. She is on vacation from food tweets.

Jill Zarin is a faithful reader of the IHJZ website and this IHJZ board. I’m sure that Jill Zarin read the blog posted by Lynn Hudson about her fantastic experience with Bethenny Frankel. Jill wants to be the good friend of Bethenny Frankel so I am sure Jill was happy to know that Bethenny Frankel’s trip to Chicago went well and that fans of Bethenny Frankel had a great time. That is how good friends act towards each other. We all know that.

Even though Jill Zarin has close friends at the Post there is no way that she would plant this question or call Kelly Bensimon to alert her that this question was in Jill’s favorite gossip site. Even though similar articles were published at a time that Jill was having issues with Bethenny Frankel in both the Post and the Gawker, Jill would never have shared any information with them. She only planted a story once as we all know. That was the Simon falling down drunk story but all of that should have been forgiven when Jill said she was sorry at the Sachs opening during season three. In the season three reunion, Jill told us that they all plant stories in the press when they are upset. Jill, of course, is not upset with anyone who visited Chicago. Jill visits Chicago as you all know from our board experience of Jill tweeting about good blogs.

Kelly Bensimon, great friend and constant companion of Jill Zarin, would never do something that might out the person who gave that story to the Post. Of course, she tweeted that she was having a bad day and…. I could not find that tweet on Kelly Bensimon’s twitter when I looked just now. Where did that tweet go?

Thank goodness, Jill is out of the country when this happened.

    The end.

    Q

Remember to post only good things about Jill Zarin and her best friend, Tweet Kelly Bensimon. It’s going to be a challenge today, but the parting gifts are worth it.

    • I read that blind item yesterday. Jill planted the same blind item this time last year. She is still trying to ruin Bethenny’s career and reputation. I expect Jill to be even more vicious now since RHONY was postponed. Jill is evil, vindictive and spiteful.

      • quincyil says:

Oops…. this subset blog was meant to make the reader think that Jill Zarin would never ever do such a thing. I am going to have to try harder to make Jill Zarin look innocent in the future.
Obviously, I have made a blunder in writing this blog. Jill is going to make sure that I have a bad day and that this blog is deleted from the IHJZ board. Kelly and I are going to be in the dog house together.

        • I think one of the things you could thank Jill Zarin for is giving you the opportunity to exercise your brain in a way that writing an “I Love Bethenny” or “I love LynnnChicago” blog would not. Kind of like the difference between working a horse in deep sand vs on grass.

          • quincyil says:

True. I had several people concerned that I would not have material for my “I Love Jill Zarin” blog before it hit the board. In the last few days, the fodder for discussion just keeps piling up on my desk. Jill is on a quiet retreat, yet I am finding material to share with the adoring fans here on this little bit of sunshine hidden in the darkness of cyberspace.

          • quincyil says:

Pack you bags. You too are going on a trip to Italy! Your tour guides will be members of our board who actually speak Italian.

        • Sorry Quincy, what was I thinking. Of course the lovely Jill Zarin would never do such a thing. She would never plant stories in the gossip columns to destroy people’s lives. She may have destroyed RHONY because when a show is postponed it is never a good sign but she would never go out of her way to destroy someone’s life by planting gossip. 🙂

          • quincyil says:

Well, then …you too are going to Italy with your friends. Look out chanels of Venice, here we come!

    • error404 says:

I was trying to figure out which story was planted by Jill until I realized it was obviously “WHICH A-list actress is trying to smear her ex by spreading rumors about him watching gay porn?” I knew Bawby had a huge collection of Playboy in his mother’s basement, but I didn’t realize Ally’s dad had a equally valuable collection of Blue Boy. 😛

      • quincyil says:

        Lol…. A list actress… Jill will love that …

        You are going to Italy!

        • error404 says:

OOhhh I can’t wait to meet Teresa’s relatives! I’ve been taking Italian lessons from Ter herself. “wadda ya gotta to eatta momma? Ho fame” or is it “fame ho”. I forget.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Jill Zarin has excellent communication skills and a good relationship with the media. She is very courageous because to tell the true as she knows it may very well hurt other people, but it is the truth that is important.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Jill is a fabulous mentor to Kelly. Laxative abuse is running rampart in the country so they will likely collaborate on a PSA – because it is the right thing to do!

      • quincyil says:

Italy… and a certificate for $1,000 in monopoly money to spend while you visit the boutique Teresa wanted to use her credit cards in on that lovely stone paved street.

      • nathania says:

sort of off-topic but when I read this blind about the laxatives I thought it was about Camille. She is the only one I can think of that brags about her body non-stop, and she claims to have IBS, which could either be caused by the laxative abuse intermittently or maybe even as a result of prolonged laxative abuse. I never thought of the NY women although Bethenny has been said many times to be bullimic. Some claimed that the reason her face looked so swollen during her pregnancy is because she was acting out in her bullimia.

        • quincyil says:

Camille has irritable bowel syndrome. I’m sure she has medication and is under a doctor’s care for those issues.
I know a few people with this and they really suffer.

    • Katie says:

So who is Kelly I mean Crazy talking about?

    • Kansas Girl says:

Here’s something good for Jill — she can stay in Costa Rica a few days longer. Since “her” show is postponed, there’s no need to rush back. Have a lovely vacation, Jill!

      • quincyil says:

Have fun in Italy with your friend on the “I Love Jill Zarin” blog on the prairie!

        • quincyil says:

Gosh… it’s expensive running a blog within a blog. Thank goodness, our sponsor is……..Zarin Fabrics!!!!!

    • here's the thing says:

That rumor about Bethenny has existed for a really long time. She used to buy laxative tea on ebay before she made it big and before Jill was her enemy.

Besides.. this rumor could be about anyone else. Readers of another site think it’s Kelly Ripa. Kikilet was just saying that to be a bitch.

      • VincenzoNewYork says:

I can be the translator/tour guide to the Italia trip!
@Quincy: you were correct it is: Io ho fame…or ho fame..
da phrasa iza idomatica espressione .you knowa..you godda usa avere + fame…avere iz da infinitva of da verb to have…you knowa teresa + famiglia speak very good italiano………..itsa, specialmente signora Teresa……she non know da word beday…fagedda abouta that shuscamat’…(means rude in dialect lol)

        • VincenzoNewYork says:

@Quincy: I understand your joke now…’fame ho’!! I went into italian mode whilst reading it. lol. btw…to the beautiful gente on this blog..in italian..we don’t pronounce the “H.” Just to add to your lingusitic knowledge…however, it was very humerous Quincy!!!

        • quincyil says:

Of course, I had you in mind. You are also in charge of the choice of cities we will visit. I’m sending myself on this trip. I was skipping South Beach, but I want to see Italy!

          • VincenzoNewYork says:

            yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let’s do Venice, Milano-let’s pay homage to the city in which our favorite Milania was named after, Florence, Rome, Naples (and Sala Consalina-we have to visit Teresa’s hometown…) and Sicily too…for the Sicilians on this board. Jill and Bawbee can help raise funds for us because she is very gracious and generous….especially since there is a subset of kind words for her. I also have to add the Jillzy makes good potato latkes…and that is a complement(seriously). Her pictures of them during Hanukkah looked delicious…that was my nice thing to contribute to the subset. lol.

        • Brigid A. says:

Vincenzo, my only European trip was to Roma! I’m pretty sure I was the only one of the entire group who spent some pre-Roma time studying basic tourist Italian. You’d be a great tour guide!

          • VincenzoNewYork says:

@Brigid: ahhh Roma…che bella citta’ meravigliosa…what a beautiful and wonderful city…lol. You seem to have been a very diligent Italian tourist. Thank You for the tour guide complement.

            • Brigid A. says:

Yes, you must be our IHJZ tour guide! Roma, the eternal city, surpassed all my expectations. You must see “Under the Tuscan Sun” which has been recommended by many posters here.

BTW, I always thought my first European adventure would be the UK, especially the Emerald Isle of my ancestors, Ireland.

      • quincyil says:

True.. it could also be planted in the press falsely just to cause problems. Kelly gave Sonja a cleanse on TV.

If you google “Bethenny Frankel laxative” you get those articles which were given to gawker and the Post.

    • lillybee says:

One nice thing about Jill is that she is giving all of us an opportunity to go on a cruise with her, Bobby, and Gloria. For a price, of course.

    • Kat says:

I tried hard to come up with something nice to say about Jill Zarin.
Here goes my effort. Jill reads both blogs, ILJZ and IHJZ regularly. She even has taken a personal interest in our blog writer, the guest bloggers here and even some commenters too. It seems she has developed quite an interest in some peoples lives. I think Jill may become a poster case for a new DSM entry about TV Reality Stars who stalk their detractors or “anti-fans”.
I believe it may be called the ZenZarin Personality Disorder.
(Zarin has a special pro blogger friend that deserves credit too.)

Hopefully Jill will overcome this and recognize she needs time away from her internet connected devices. If not I love that Jill will probably get her own TV show about Reality Stars turned Stalkers and her own self named disorder in the DSM. Go team ZenZarin.. Bull. Pucky.

I want to go South Beach and Italy… but really, I hate Jill Zarin. And she hates us. Life has balance.

  21. Adgirl says:

Attention reality show wanna-bes. Do not go on Real Housewives with a friend or relative!

The humiliating public painful demise of your relationship will be the star of the show.
    1. Jill & Bethenny
    2. NeNe & Kim Z
    3. Kim & Kyle Richards

RHNJ escaped this curse because the Manzo family practices omerta.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

      lol omerta!

    • Pantry Viewer says:

LOL! I had to look it up, too 🙂

    • error404 says:

Kim might believe in omerta. Perhaps she learned it from her ex-fiance. She has yet to rat Kyle out for saying “Why would anyone be interested in you without Kelsey?”. In fact, her stubborn silence on the matter is very Sicilian. Even during the heated limo rumble, she only gave a vague “Guess who drinks all damn day long?”. Anyone could easily lie their way out of that slip up if questioned later. Even at the reunion she was all “Oh, I think we talked about surfing, and then a girl cried.” Kyle was all “Ok, here is exactly what everyone said and did. Wanna know times? I can tell you what everyone was wearing if you want.”

      • Pantry Viewer says:

Dang, so THAT’S what it is! Kim is a firm believer in omerta! The problem they seem to encounter is that Kyle practices maliciou-erta, thus they seem to be incompatible as sisters.

  22. Adgirl says:

Say Something Nice about Jill Zarin:
Jill is very supportive of our president’s effort to pass the “Net Neutrality” bill in Congress. She is particularly enthusiastic of the provision authorizing the president to shut down the US internet in times of national crisis – called the” Internet Kill” switch.

Jill foresees many national crises requiring ”Internet Kill”, such as a rise in traffic to the IHJZ site.

    • quincyil says:

LOL…. Jill will insist that everyone here go to her blog everyday and post nice things when net neutrality is a law.

    • ms molly says:

Since Jill’s trip to Costa Rico, her face and neck won’t be orange anymore. There ya go!!!

  23. Adgirl says:

So, “cleanse” is good, but laxative is bad..?

  24. shamrockblonde says:

thanks Lynn!! – great as always – I too, wa sorry to see Tre go – I liked him – for a lot of yummy reasons……hey!!!! – I was talking about his cooking of course….he can really cook…….

I want Richard to win simply because he was soooo robbed in his season – he is mad talented and seems to be a really nice guy – and Fabio – you can just ship him straight to me – and he can cook too!!! – woohoo!! – Carla is my second choice – as for the rest – eh – mostly I don’t want Angelo to win – I don’t trust him at all –

    • mbdea says:

OMG, I thought I was the only one –don’t trust Angelo either. In his season, there were waayyy to many “sabotage-like” incidences that sent certain chefs packing. The missing food in his season and again here in this one have a common factor –Angelo. He’s hungry enough to stoop that low, I’m convinced.

  25. WSL says:

I don’t know The Flickcast but I like what they say about Jill. Unfortunately the trolls will attack in vengece.
    They report :
These women are legitimately filthy stinkin’ rich. Like, solid-gold-toilet rich.
(I bet ill will send Bo beee’s tax return in)
They go on to report :
Usually, a few of the women in each genre exude some sort of personality quirk that makes them just a little annoying. Jill Zarin (NY) is generally likable, but her manipulative and attention whoring ways did get tiresome in season two.

  26. WindyCityWondering says:

We best buckle up for Mr Toad’s wild ride through Miami. Since NY/NJ Bravo has added big money, undefinded mental/substance abuse problems, violence, plastic surgery gone wrong and psychics to the housewives formula. IMO – they are over saturating the market and corrupting what was a good product formula!

  27. Tara Filowitz says:

RAOS – they only showed the name of the restaurant 80 times!

    • lillybee says:

RAOS also sells a bottled mariana sauce that sells for at least 8 dollars a jar.

      • TLM says:

I haven’t seen it for less than $10 in Giant Foods in suburban Philadelphia. I have a relative who has eaten there a couple of times. I’ve seen photos of the place as well as the Top Chef show, and I have no desire to go there. I find the atmosphere beyond depressing, actually reminiscent of some very cheap restaurants, and I don’t feel like having someone else select what will be served if I’m paying. And the day I plunk down $10 for jarred spaghetti sauce will be a cold day in hell. I just feel it’s all hype.

  28. Jill had a big premiere party planned for 2/15. She is going to have to cancel her plans. Poor thing! LOL

    • quincyil says:

What happened that Bravo made this change? They have been advertising the Feb 15th date for over a month non stop. The editors seem to be having a problem putting the show together. We heard at one point that they were begging Bethenny to come back for 6 shows. Bethenny turned them down flat. Jill said that this is going to be the best show ever. That means boring as hell to the producers.

      • It’s very strange! I have never heard of a reality being postponed before. Even though RHONY is my favorite, I thought the previews were boring. Alex’s comment about the “thug in a cocktail dress” was the only thing that was interesting. I hope they don’t decide to cancel RHONY. I don’t care how Bravo spins it, it is not a good sign when a show is postponed.

        • quincyil says:

I totally agree. Why put money into advertising so much to throw it away and postpone the series? They haven’t advertised the Miami show at all and you have to let people know that a show is going to be on TV or they won’t watch it.

        • nathania says:

that’s the truth. the first preview they showed during the BH reunion was the Countless, and that has to be the most boring woman on the face of the earth. Even her voice bores me to tears. Why would they lead with that?

  29. NYCer says:

Too bad the NYC housewives new season has been postponed until “sometime this spring.”

    • Pantry Viewer says:

So what do we speculate is the reason for this? The Miami one sneaks up on us like that and then NY is pushed back? Anyone have a reason why?

      • quincyil says:

When something out of order happens, I always question it. I just saw an article that the ladies have premier parties planned. Jill is tweeting that she has girdle party on the 15th. 12 days before the sceduled season, they decide to stop dead in their tracks and switch to an unknown new show?

The don’t have a NYC RH show for season 4. They wrapped up filming last week with final interviews. The editors simply have nothing of value for this season. Bethenny is gone. Not one of the women have a sense of humor. It’s going to be a nighmare in the editing room. This is very bad for the fanchise. Bravo can pretend that they wanted to push Miami, but the truth is you go with winners and Jill Zarin’s NYC Housewives without Bethenny Frankle is a bust.

        • California35 says:

I kind of understand, I am disapointed Jill and Kelly are back. We could get new people in there and get excited to meet new wives…at least we are getting a new one and Sonjia who I wished to get to know more about last season. With no Bethenny, they do need to do better than what they are doing 😛

      • WindyCityWondering says:

Something happened – Bravo wants to tweet RHNY? Not buying that at all. Maybe Comcast’s acquisition of NBC/Bravo is cleaning house at Bravo.

        • quincyil says:

Bravo and Syfy are both under NBC Universal so they could be cleaning house.

I think they finished filming last Wed. I think Ramona tweeted that it was done. They had Thurs, Friday, Monday, Tues, Wed… and at noon on Thurs. announce an unexpected change in scheduling.

Jill must have been a very good girl this season. There is no conflict. She said it was great fun and their best season ever so that means there is nothing for Bravo to hang it’s hat on.

The new girl who removes hair was supposed to be the funny one. She was going to be the new Bethenny Frankel. I think she failed to be Bethenny Frankel. Luann was in love… nothing there of interest. Sonja got a new boy friend and had a spat with Alex. Yippeeeee.
Jill had some difficulties with the hair removal lady. I haven’t heard about Ramona’s artificial time line, but I’m sure she made one up before filming. Alex made friends with Jill. Kelly following Jill around like a puppy is boring.

I sure hope Jill and Kelly didn’t spend weeks talking about Bethenny like Rachel Zoe and her Brad did about Taylor. The public will burn down 30 Rock if they allow Jill to do that.

          Bravo Producers,

Please contact Lynn Hudson at “I Hate Jill Zarin.” I think you need her help with your NYC series.

          • Brigid A. says:

Regarding the “new girl who removes hair,” PLEASE, Bravo, spare us any similar RHONY competition with Kyle’s home bikini wax! Leave it on the editing floor. Oh that Kyle with her wacky sense of humor…UGH.

            • Katie says:

Yes I agree, we all get it and don’t need to see it.

              • nathania says:

not only that…but most of it we did not even see, but the camera did. I really can’t imagine knowing that all that unattractive footage is out there somewhere on film, just waiting for a disgruntled production assistant to bootleg out. Kyle really exercised some poor judgement… this kind of thing was done on America’s Next Top Model but most of those girls are in their early twenties. It was just one more indication that Kyle is a prom queen/mean girl who longs for the power she had in days gone by, and thought of the RHOBH as a way to recapture her glory days.

          • mamecastle says:

I bet Kelly’s lawyers were successful in a last minute court order to postpone and maybe re-edit the season. They didn’t want her humiliating herself for a second time. Let your freak-flag fly, Kell-Kell! We all have missed your crazy freak show, we promise we’ll be nice…

            • dsc60 says:

too late on the second time for kiki… that happened a while back… like on her first season of RHoNY… remember? when she asked bethany to meet her for a drink? and many times after that. kiki is a pro at humiliating herself by now.

            • nathania says:

Honestly that was my first thought too, it had to be a legal thing…not much else stops Bravo in their tracks, but they don’t eff with the legal, just look at what happened to Dina.

          • TLM says:

Jill not talk about Bethenny and the demise of the friendship? Come on. That would be like Alex saying she’s no longer interested in fashion. Of course she’s going to rehash it. I can’t imagine that she wouldn’t. Even if just for one of those “talking head” scenes.

It sounds like Jill was involved in SOME drama since she’s crying in a car. I have no interest in watching NY without Bethenny. I never really was that interested in the other women.

  30. Adgirl says:

If Miami takes off I hope Bravo retires OC.

There isn’t anything new or fascinating on OC. Just drunk the Tamra and the Gretchen-Slade deathstar lurching around suburbia. I think people only watch it out of habit.

    • mbdea says:

      ITA!!!!!

    • floridagirl88 says:

You’ll know they’ve gone to far when they do the Real Housewives of Baltimore.

      • WindyCityWondering says:

Why no midwestern offerings? It keeps ping ponging between the coasts. Why not Dallas? Houston? St. Louis? (Not Chicago cause I don’t want them in my city.)

        • VincenzoNewYork says:

I feel that Bravo needs a city that is near a major entertainment news hub…BH took off because it is right out of LA. NYC and NJ took off because they are in the NY metro etertainment news hub. I guess Miami has a major entertainment news industry there too..That’s one of the reasons why DC has ‘failed’ because it’s only has government type news. I do feel that the midwest has alot to offer. BTW: Bravo people,if you are reading this blog, bring back DC w/o the Salahis!!

        • Katie says:

Yes they will never be in Chicago. I cut a deal with the Mayor’s office to make sure of that. 😉

  31. California35 says:

What did I miss? Did I read right that NY has been moved? I hope not, I am looking forward to it. I am interested on the new Miami, although I didn’t really hear anythinga bout it (except what I read here).

Good blog housewifeFan thanks for sharing your thoughts….and thanks Lynn for TC recap. I can’t help but feel sorry about the chefs. They could be the greatest chef, but end up not giving their best work because of the limited time, running around, etc. Then they get critiqued over something they know they could have done so much better. Then again, they are compiting and they know that is what will happen. I DO like that the judges treat them well.

    • Rabble Rouser says:

Oh he needs to make up his mind- they ‘didn’t pay him’ yet he was able to afford a place of his own for all that time.

He was asked to move back because Bravo called and asked if he was still living there? How would they even know about him? It’s not like they started casting it over a year in advance before they started to film it.

And if it was just an arrangement to get an opportunity for all of you to be on the show- then why all the dragging of the feet when they asked you to move out?

  33. shamrockblonde says:

thanks for the link vinny – I like Lisa and Adrienne and tend not to put any faith in anything that Cedric has to say – what is all this talk about Adrienne being the Godmother of Kennedy, Taylor’s little girl – as someone else said, being a Godparent is a lifelong committment and should never be taken lightly – while I can see Adrienne understanding the implications of being a Godparent – and handling that responsibility with grace, love and guidance – I cannot at all see Taylor even understanding the general meaning of the word, let alone all that it encompasses – would someone please fill me in on this bizarre turn of events?

    • klmh says:

Im afraid Taylor was trying to make a bond with Adrienne, and possibly her money/power. Its quite suspicious to me.
I don’t know if there is anyone else she felt close with at the time of Kennedy’s birth, but with Adrienne’s reluctance, she may be postponing the baptism. Just a thought. Kennedy would be close to 5, because we saw her birthday party a few months ago and with editing, it might have been in the summer of ’10. Apparently Taylor got pregnant soon after their wedding, if the math fits.
      Does Taylor have any siblings?

  34. quincyil says:

We have an absolutely brilliant board member who just pointed out the obvious to me.

She said that someone has done something and they are lawyering up with NYC.

She also reminded me that Kelly tweeted that she was having a bad day!

Kelly Bensimon…. what have you done?

    • VincenzoNewYork says:

I wonder what happened…the RHONYC- the lost season. lol.

      • quincyil says:

Twelve hours ago, Jill Zarin tweeted that her party was on for the 15th.

No mention of any change in her twitter.

Kelly sent a tweet to Andy about the change. When Kelly is taking the lead, you know you are in trouble.

      • mbdea says:

They lost the season when they decided to bring JillZilla and her kookoo sidekick, Kelly. Bleh.

    • This is wishful thinking on my part but I’m hoping that they edited out all of Kelly’s scenes and she was fired. *fingers crossed* 🙂

      • quincyil says:

If I was Bethenny and I found out that Kelly Bensimon continued her vendetta after I left a series because of her, I would have a lawyer too.

        • quincyil says:

Simon says that he was filming this week in his tweets. Alex is also saying that good things take time.

Why was Simon still filming for NYC? Jill has been gone since Mon. Why would a husband film after the women had finished?

          • klmh says:

I thought Simon got some kind of show, no?

            • quincyil says:

Yes, but he was discussing the postponement of NYC in the tweet.

Sonja, Ramona, and Jill have not mentioned this in tweets.

Gosh, the one with all the information is Kelly. She started with “a bad day.” I can’t remember ever seeing her tweet something like that before.

          • DarkSonnet says:

Official filming had ended and Simon indicated that he was filming “Evergreens”, individual talking head pieces that can be inserted anywhere in the series during final editing to bolster a storyline.

      • mbdea says:

What’s that? Kelly caught on fire? Oh, wait. Speed read and jumped on my subconscious desire. My bad.

    • OneMoreInBoston says:

my, my this is an interesting turn of events…

And awfully nice of our new board member- you know, the younger, thinner, and I believe- taller board member to bring all this to our attention.

Quincy- you and Lynn must extend our heartfelt gratitude for the news on this postponement.

Just wondering if our newest gorgeous board member knows anything else?

One can only hope…since our appetite is now whetted…for just another tempting little morsel…just a little something-something…call it a Scooby Snack of Snark if you must…

      • quincyil says:

She knows stuff, but she won’t share. She doesn’t tweet, but if she did she’d be a song bird.

One more in Boston probably thinks this is my imaginary friend, Harvey. LOL.

        • OneMoreInBoston says:

oh hush! I know you only see Harvey when you’ve had too much to drink, silly!

This new friend sounds like the real deal- at least I’m hoping…
tell her I’ll tweet and twat away FOR her, and that way she can sing like a bird to me- and I’ll share the scoopies with the Lynn Fam. Deal?

          • quincyil says:

Well, I will admit that the new, younger, more beautiful, thinner and taller friend is more intelligent and funnier that me.

She knows a lot of stuff…. more than I do for sure. She is an expert at the antics of Kelly Bensimon so if she thinks Kelly is involved, I do too.

      • Katie says:

What new board member, are you guys talking about Julia Roberts again?

    • California35 says:

Oh yeah? Waiting to read more about it….I have been out of the loop ( darn – one most pay the bills and work 😦 😛 ) Will check in later….

Could it be they are trying to get more attention from the viewers…? we’ll see.

If Kelly is having a bad day there are so many more relevent reasons for that than trouble with RHNY – maybe she couldn’t decide which Uggs to wear today, or the lack of humidity is making it difficult to maintain her greasy surfer hair do, or she can’t play with Jill because she is out of town or that she can’t wear a bikini anywhere in NYC at the moment. Seriously, who would possibly throw a lawsuit her authentic, breakthrough way?

      • quincyil says:

The ex boyfriend, the ex husband because of something with her kids in filming, the ex nanny who loves to share, the ex cast member who said that she had enough of crazy…

so many people who could be upset with Kelly and so little time to list them ….

        • WindyCityWondering says:

if they are still filming and Jill is not there then that would definately make Kelly have a bad day…..

    • lillybee says:

      That really makes sense.

      • Golden Girl says:

Does it have anything to do with the blind item yesterday?

        • quincyil says:

I don’t know… I had to have a blog that showed love for Jill. I saw that Kelly tweet and went with it.

I think Jill probably had Kelly take that tweet off.

  35. shamrockblonde says:

as a practicing Roman Catholic, our children are generally baptized within months of their birth – why the wait, unless she is not Catholic and this is another religious baptisim whose traditions I am not familiar with – saying that someone is “Christian” is very misleading – I really wish it was more defined – Catholic, Baptist, Protestant, Lutheran, Latter Day Saints, etc., – off topic, I know, but if not here, where?

and I agree with Vinny – the “lost” season of HWNYC! – what happened Kelly? did your sachels of gold turn into gummie bears and you tried to make lemonade with them and managed to walk into a door on the way out? Or did Jill trip you while you were up “here” and the rest of the cast was down “there”, landing you on your stuffed horse in an embarrassing position? Or were you running in traffic again when the Countess pulled up in a taxi to correct you on the proper use of hand signals when running in front of moving vechicles? Did she distract you so much that you lost your way and found yourself interviewing total strangers with innane questions? Or was it too many feathers and not enough beads? Poor little kiki – perhaps she is just a bit too kooki…

    • California35 says:

      lol

    • VincenzoNewYork says:

@Shamrockblonde: I think most Christian denominations baptize as young as possible. The orthodox; especially the Greeks, are baptized and recieve communion at the same time… Taylor is strange.

      • VincenzoNewYork says:

I think Taylor should try Orthodox Christianity…she’ll get re-baptized and have an excorcism performed…

        • Brigid A. says:

If Adrienne is of Lebanese descent, she could be Maronite, in communion with Roman Catholicism, or she could be Greek Orthodox, Armenian Apostolic, etc. Maybe someone should ask her? Regardless of her religious affiliation, I can totally understand her reluctance to be Kennedy’s “godmother,” whatever that means to Taylor. In that video clip, Adrienne looks annoyed and Taylor looked shocked that she was caught lying.

Re infant vs. adult baptism, many fundamentalist and non-denominational Christians believe in adult baptism.

I’m kind of leaning towards attaching no religious significance in Taylor’s intentions.

      • OneMoreInBoston says:

        No- that’s actually not correct.

There are two diverging beliefs among Christians, concerning baptism. One teaches ‘baptism before salvation’, while the other teaches ‘salvation before baptism.’

“He who believes and is baptized will be saved, but he who does not believe will be condemned.”
        (Mar 16:16)

If you do not truly believe, or are incapable of belief, in Jesus Christ, some Christiam denominations believe that baptism means absolutely nothing.

The baptism of infants therefore carries no spiritual significance ( to these denominations), since they are incapable of belief.

Therefore infant baptism in those denominations is really nothing more than the parents choosing to symbolically dedicate the child to God.

In Taylor’s case- it seems that salvation comes after finding wealthy god parents.

      • WindyCityWondering says:

Taylor probably got the idea from watching RHNJ Audrienna’s Baptism – another idea for a themed party!

    • error404 says:

We were asked to be godparents to someone about a year or so ago, and politely refused. We each have a god child already, proper baptisms done in churches. But this “friend” is not only not religious and doesn’t attend any church or follow any particular faith, but she also already has a set of godparents for the kid. She said in her “culture” it was normal to have multiple godparents. We said in ours it wasn’t.

    • VincenzoNewYork says:

I wonder what is the dominant denomination in Oklahoma?

    • twoile says:

      @S, Convert maybe.

Hmm…..Claude, you had a $30,000 closet addition built and no safe installed? Where do you keep important paperwork? I’m guessing in one of the 292 decorative baskets scattered around that hoarder house of yours. I don’t know if I should chalk this up to stupid or laugh because Claude tries so hard to act classy and rich.

  38. HD says:

    Is it just me…..

Regarding the Real Housewives of Miami or any of these shows…can we get some more people of color on these shows. I mean damn! For real this is getting old!

  39. Katie says:

Just found the following comment on Gawker –

“A friend of mine who works at Bravo told me that the latest season of RHNY was totally boring (along the lines of Real Housewives D.C.) and they are taking a second stab at editing it to make it more interesting.

I think the New York ladies got too obsessed with their images to keep it real. I heard one of the new wives is even more aloof than Adrienne Maloof.”

    • WindyCityWondering says:

I can see that – but then how can OC be explained?

      • Katie says:

What about OC? That it’s boring too?

      • VincenzoNewYork says:

NY is the money maker…it is probably BH’s rival, which totally brought in the ratings. I am just thinking….lol.

        • Katie says:

Yes but they have big shoes to fill without Bethenny and maybe they failed.

          • HD says:

Wow. That makes a lot of sense. I have been saying it a lot but really without Bethanny the show is boring.

            The Countless-boring.

            Jill-Who cares

            Alex-Too Normal

            Kelly-Crazy

            Ramona-Who cares

None of these women are remotely interesting. Sonja MIGHT be because she is dating and seems kind of like Samantha on Sex in the City but other than that they are not really interesting women. JMO

            • Golden Girl says:

I agree, I think they used this whole season as a PR clean up.

            • HD says:

Also if you think about it the most exciting thing they have shown is Alex calling someone a “thug in a cocktail dress” Yip-pee-ki-ay. That is not horrible. Also the mean girl comment last season wasn’t remotely bad but it got blown into a big deal like Alex cussed someone out. They don’t have big drama. The only drama was Bethanny and Jill and that is over so they need something to reel us back in. Of course I will watch (for now) but I can see it being boring because the cast is boring.

      • Noreen says:

        Free alchohol while filming?

    • nathania says:

I know, Adrienne can be referred to as Adrienne “the M is silent” Maloof.

  40. Katie says:

IF Crazy and the NYC HW’s are mad (Jill and Crazy) it’s because they have already paid money on PR and they have stupid products no one will ever buy and already made plans on when we were going to be tortured to keep hearing about the stupid products. So this change in timing that they just learned about (like the rest of us) ruined their plans for a big return and hopes of redemption (slim shot at best) and making some money. I think this is just the Karma Gods yet again reminding them of how F’d up they are. So yeah I’m sure Crazy is having a bad day.

    • mimi0210 says:

I so agree. S2 was one long boring infomercial. I was not even going to watch S3 but when I turned it on the Bethenny – Jill drama began. I never liked Jill before but S3 confirmed I Hate Jill Zarin!

  41. lillybee says:

I am thinking that Season 4 will be the last RHONY.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

I think it might be too. I was willing to give it a go without Bethenny. I would not be interested in seeing LuAnn/Jill/Kelly vs Sonja/Ramona/Alex battle for the new girl. Jill killed the show for everyone.

      • nathania says:

Bravo needs to get a clue that when they have someone as universally hated as Jill Zarin, and as universally mocked as Kelly Been on Something, they need to get rid of them. Same with lunatic Teresa Guidice. Good villains are at least fractionally good, look at Camille’s contrition and (faux?) humility on the reunion. Jill is just dead weight, I can’t stand her. And if it looks like the vultures are going to pick apart Alex, who is the only sympathetic character left after Sonja Morgan’s DUI and bankruptcy, then I am not even going to bother watching it. I love Alex but not enough to watch her mistreated. Maybe Bravo is feeling the dismay that people are expressing that Alex seems ‘on the outs’ now and the creepy, crazy, sociopathic Jill and KKB and the murderously boring Countless are still rattling around NY like anyone actually cares.

It’s a shame they have so little sense about their viewing audience. They ought to take lessons from both ATL and BH, the favorites ended up being Kandi and Lisa VDP, neither of whom are villains…if either of those housewives ended up as targets it would really cost the show some viewers…same as it might if Alex ends up in the hot seat.

        • twoile says:

@n, You’ve said it sooooooooooooo well, couldn’t improve on it at all so I’ll say TX & ITA!!!!!

  42. VincenzoNewYork says:

Is New Jersey still filming? I want them back…to many new shows this television season.from fall 2010-present.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

When they initially started filming for the upcoming season and Teresa went beserk at her brother’s son’s baptism it was in the news and then nothing. I was wondering why we have not heard anything since then. A couple of days ago there was an item about Teresa missing Danielle – which I took as nothing more than T trying to keep her name out there.

  43. Katie says:

So can someone fill in the dates?

    Bethenny’s Show = ?
    Miami HW’s = February
    NYC = Spring
    OC HW’s = ?
    DC HW’s = officially dead/not happening
    NJ HW’s = ?

  44. Adgirl says:

I’m not sure it’s true that a season of RH has not been postponed before.

Wasn’t OC was supposed to be broadcast earlier this year but was delayed in order to edit out all of Gretchen / Jay Photoglu mentions because he threatened to sue Bravo?

    • Katie says:

Sure but it’s new for NYC HW I believe and this is the first season without the star of the show Bethenny and I bet they tanked.

This is at least my take and what I think we should post where ever possible for Crazy and Jill to read it.

    • nancy says:

      You are correct.

      • nancy says:

That was for adgirl. OC did have a postpoment due to leagal issues with Gretchen and her x lover

        • nancy says:

also excuse spelling. new bifocals. Gosh I hate getting old. But I thought the 50’s were the new 30’s. LOL

          • klmh says:

I remember reading a story about Sophia Loren. She stated that a 60, she popped out of bed at 6 am and never had an ache or pain. I thought, hey, this won’t be so bad. Several years later, after my 60th birthday I realized that Sophia is a liar.

  45. VincenzoNewYork says:

If New York needs to be re-edited..then Bravo has created a problem for themselves..
I think that New York cannot compete with Beverly Hills without more drama. New York is a highly anticipated iteration and therefore Bravo probably fears that it may be a flop.{-this is coming from Katie’s post from above.} The dilemma stems from the fact that the drama on BH was not gradually introduced and there were too many interesting story lines and plots that kept the viewers too interested and the rating increased dramatically.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

IMO – BH ended the way NY ended – with tons of burning questions left unanswered setting up some great expectations from the viewers. For Bravo to hold off a month or two to fine tune NY then they are not satisfied with it yet. As much as it is tempting to compare the various frachises that would be very difficult – it is ratings and sponsors.

  46. dsc60 says:

i’m sure it’s probably been mentioned, but taylor’s blog is up and in it she all apologies to kim. i say it’s about as sincere as her lips are real. one good thing about it is it does indicate she feeling the backlash… reading the tweets… perusing this blog? we can only hope! anyway, she’s getting a taste of what it’s like to be the most hated housewife and deservedly so.

Has anyone seen Kat? I haven’t been able to find her kitty litter trails 😉

    • OneMoreInBoston says:

She put on her Ray Bans, hopped up on her Harley Davidson and rode off into the sunset- her whiskers a blowing in the wind…

      • Kat says:

That sounds so “Easy Rider”, (I may have to change my name to Peter Fonda Kat ) and there is a bit of Bob Dylan too… the answer my friend is blowing in the wind. 8) I love the mental image you evoked.
My cyber whiskers are wind bent & may never straighten & the wind disperses the litter trails nicely. It allows a bit of lurking. I’m headed to South Beach and then to Sturgess… hopefully later to Italy. Jill is a nasty piece of work but I’ll think of something nive to say… let me drink on that.
If I get a special Harley seat or basket I’ll free Ginger and Giggy this spring. Ginger will get litter trained or I’ll leave her at a rest stop. I can’t abide willy nilly pooping or nose licking but old dogs learn new tricks when they’re given firm bounderies.

…the answer is blowing in the wind.

Oh and nicolle the troll who wasted her life making that idiotic and redundant post is a special treasure whom judging from her post is retarded in the original sense of the word. Right Squirrels and JennZen?

      • Kat says:

I answered you… my post must of gone to spam. Damn. 🙂

      • Kat says:

In case that post disappeared into cyberspace I want you to know your post evoked memories of Peter Fonda in Easy Rider and Bob Dylan’s Blowing in the Wind. 😉 I feel all hippyish now even though I wasn’t born til 62 and thus missed out on the free drugs, free love, anti establishment movement. But then the 70’s and 80’s were awesome. 😉

    • boston02127 says:

I think of Kat often. She could always make me laugh.

      • Golden Girl says:

Same here, I like the description of her on her Harley. Maybe she’ll breeze back into town every now and then and leave a litter trail to find out which saloon she parks her hog at lately.

      • Kat says:

Boston, you always crack me up too. How is that Glass Castle coming along? Was that meant as in living in a glass house or was that a brand of liquor? I’ll have to send you shot glasses, wine glasses or stones to throw. 😉

I’m sure you read KKB tweeted she had a bad day.
I can’t wait for her new book. I hope she includes every tweet she’s ever made, especially the tweets about poor people being dishonest and advising everyone to have fun as she suggested safe sex while giving out condems – this after calling Bethenny a whore for having a one night stand that Sonja actually owned having (Bethenny never said she had one iirc). KKB must have reconsidered her opinion on one might stands or she was patronizing in her tweets & remarks to the public.

A book of her tweets would showcase her command of the English language; her ability to convey concise, meaningful, intelligent thoughts in 140 characters or less. She is after all an author, editor, tastemaker and as such KKB must be an accomplished communicator even perhaps a potential Mensa member. ( Too charitable of me ? I’m practicing for the sub blog ILJZ. )

” Leaving for The Springs today. Our friend owns it and said they shot the bachelor finale there that is airing this Monday. Won’t say who won”

um, they filmed the bachelor finale in South Africa. Your friend wouldn’t know who “won”

    • boston02127 says:

She’s such and idiot, she can’t even brag honestly.

I really think there is something wrong with Jill’s mind. Besides being a self centered, rotten person with a big mouth I think there is something medically wrong with her brain.

    (Jill to anyone who cares…)
I heard @realgingerzarin had fun swimming today! You are one lucky puppy. Your own swim teacher! I miss you baby.

I am a HUGH animal lover and always have been. But this is ridiculous. Anytime I’ve ever seen Ginger on TV she looked like she died and forgot to lie down. Why doesn’t she just leave that poor old dog alone.

        • Kat says:

So with Jill and Ginger you have cuckoo and poopoo.
You know it occurs to me that @cuckoo&poopoo would be an apt twitter name for a merged @JillZarin and @realgingerzarin account.
My pets don’t twitter and I dont pretend they do. Though one rides a Harley… 😉

    • TLM says:

Isn’t it rather obvious what she’s doing? I think she saw Lisa with her whole Giggy the Pom thing (which I think is equally bizarre and annoying) and tried to do something similar.

I am so happy Bethenny never had a blog by Cookie, or carried Cookie around like a handbag, or put Cookie on Twitter. Cookie is her dog. She loves Cookie to death, but Cookie is a dog. Cookie does not speak English or wear clothes because she is a DOG. Thank you Bethenny, for acting like a grownup. I feel like women who do this are either plain nuts, or suffering from empty nest syndrome is a really bad way and, dare I say it, need to find a hobby. It is sad.

It would be nice if Jill stopped with the cheap gimmicks and actually did something real. Like volunteering, donating generously, or sitting on the board of North Shore Animal League. Opening a no-kill shelter in NYC. Lending her name to a spay & neuter PSA campaign. If she loves animals so much, this should be obvious. Enough with the schtick. It’s a turnoff to people and really quite a waste of time.

  54. HD says:

As an aside…I’m gonna need Anderson Cooper to come on home. I know he is always on the front line but not when he is getting binged upside the head. That’s all.

Thanx for the blogs Lynn and HousewifeFan! As always, I am so in awe the the didication and I get to reap the benefits 😀 And thank you Quincy for the sub-blog. You rule. I can’t think of one good thing to say about Foghorn. No, wait! I bet she’s the cause of HNY being postponed so all the other castmates will hate her as much as we do. heh Wouldn’t she just DIE if they cancelled the show altogether? Hahaha I am/was looking forward to watching it tank without Bethenny.

I am so in love with Bourdain. Sigh After reading HIS blog I watched the movie Big Night. How I missed that one before is beyond me. OMG, it’s SO good. “I have to kill you now! It’s so effing good I have to kill you!” lol

Wow, that Housewife’s mother on HWMiami…she looks just like the Lion Woman. And she says she’s a witch. Neat. (ugh) It looks like another show of back-stabbing “friends” with money. Ho Hum, all though I dunno what else these shows would be about. Anyone got ideas? I mean if you could produce a show of women with enough money to do anything their hearts desire…what would you have them do? I’d think I’d enjoy them all on a yacht traveling to big events (that would actually let them film for once!) …like Cannes film festival, have them go on a Safari, climb Mt. Everest lolol, be in the Rio Carnivale, sneak into Mecca dressed as men…. (lol, i kill me)

Not meaning to butt-in, but with re: to Taylors remark about the godmother thing, I seem to recall reading a post on here, that Kennedys’ first godmother passed away or something happened to her. So Taylor maybe assumed that Adrienne would be, but Taylor just never got around to telling Adrienne about it. I will try and find the post again…….Jeepers

    • Katie says:

Please but in I hope you can find it

    • klmh says:

Thanks Jeepers. Of all the stuff I’ve read about Taylor both here and on other websites, I tried to keep things in perspective and believed only what could be substantiated. I neither love or hate her. When this clip was found, it blew me away. The only way I could look at this was that she was taking advantage of her daughter and trying to ingratiate herself into Adrienne’s lifestyle and friendship. I allowed myself to be swayed by one clip and I am disappointed in myself. Hope you can find it.

    • Sparkles says:

I think what you recall is a conversation where people here were wondering how on earth Traylor got Adrienne to be Kennedy’s godmother. The “my child’s godmother died” line was part of a longer post WSL made that illustrated hypothetically how a grifter could successfully ingratiate herself into a wealthy woman’s life.

  59. Katie says:

Anyone else watching WWHL with Lisa and Ken?

  60. Katie says:

Adrienne’s blog is up (copied below) – love her!

I have to be honest: writing this blog today is a pretty emotional experience for me. When I look back on where this whole journey started, I can’t believe how much has happened! I remember all of the debates I had with myself and my family about doing this show and opening up our lives for the cameras. And I’m glad to say that for us this experience has been rewarding (yet exhausting!).

I know I haven’t commented too much on what happened towards the end of the season in the limousine, and there is a reason for that. I was raised in a family that is both large and close-knit, and while it’s wonderful and something I’m grateful for, it also means that I know what conflict with the ones you love feels like. It’s one thing to argue with a stranger, but another thing entirely to argue with someone you love. I jumped in when I did because I felt that Kim needed to speak up, and I didn’t think that she could in that environment.

When Kyle came towards Kim for whatever reason I think my training and instincts kicked in, and I was between the two of them before I knew it. I’ve spent a long time practicing martial arts, and one thing that I’ve learned is that it’s about mastering the moment — making the best choices in every moment to minimize conflict and aggression while working towards resolution and harmony. Martial arts helps you to step back and evaluate a conflict before entering into it, and I think because the art is such a huge part of my life that the ability to stay out of the fray came more naturally. It is definitely a skill that I want to pass onto my children.

For Kyle and Kim to have this painful time in their lives playing out in front of the cameras is something I can truly empathize with. Fear and hurt often make us say things we regret, and I honestly believe that in the end, they will find themselves in a place of both love and forgiveness.

In the beginning, I think that each one of us had an idea of what we would show to the cameras and how we would act, but as time goes on you have to let your guard down and just live your life. This season was real and honest, gritty, and painful, but for most of us I think there were some really joyous moments too. I had a BLAST bringing the ladies to The Palms and to the Kings game, and sharing those parts of my life with both my friends and everyone watching. I’ve been so grateful for the incredibly kind, generous, and effusive comments that I’ve received both here and via Twitter, and they have definitely made me try even more to set forth the things my family has worked so hard to stand for over the years.

Some of you have said thank you for a great season, and I’d like to return that sentiment. Thank YOU for watching us, experiencing the ups and downs with us and especially for all of the enthusiasm, love, and support you’ve shown me. Hope to see you next year!

    XOXOX,

    Adrienne

P.S. I’m still on Twitter – so hang out with me during the off-season at @AdrienneMaloof. Also, don’t forget to check out my new website that will launch in the next two weeks at http://www.adriennemaloof.com. Love you all!

she is such a class act. her comment about making the best choices and minimizing conflict and maximizing harmony is freaking amazing. she is really a teacher/healer type. I have to wonder if this is why she did this show, honestly, because she doesn’t need the money or the exposure either one. So it might be that inside somewhere she knows she has something to share on a larger scale than what she currently was doing in life. I’m glad she used the show as a vehicle to publicly demonstrate what it means to put these skills to work. Because I don’t think that one time during the season Adrienne was ever shown doing *anything* with malicious or hurtful intent. She was incredibly blunt sometimes when put on the spot, as Taylor learned the hard way, but never vindictive.

      • Kat says:

I totally agree with your comment.
Adrienne’s blog comments seem geniune and true. She is someone I’d like to know in real life. I’m blunt sometimes too as it is easier at times to just get to the point and then move on.

I hate watching two people who care for each fight in a destructive manner. Adrienne showed empathy and sympathy and acted out of concern for the Richard sisters imo and didn’t seem concerned with herself or how she might be portrayed on camera. I bet she rarely lets her ego get in the way of or dictate her goals or happiness.
I think I’d like Kim too. Someone mentioned they thought Kim might be an introvert and I agree. I *think* it was Rabble Rouser? I totally dislike large gatherings and am an introvert. I can act extroverted I guess and be quite outspoken in a group of people I know well. I think introversion is often misunderstood.

    — The Fairy Godmother! —

I know I’m late to the party but must weigh in anyway… I just watched the video revealing that Adrienne is not Kennedy’s godmother, and it is an instant classic!

When Andy asked Adrienne about being Kennedy’s godmother, it was remarkable to see Traylor desperately smiling and nodding at Adrienne, as if Traylor were mentally willing Adrienne to “please just say yes, please just say yes, please just say yes.”

    Busted!!

It is a shame that this absolute gem was not included in the Reunion show. We never got to see the supposed explanation of Taylor’s name change either.

Can’t Kyle see that Traylor is a fraud?

My two cents on other topics:

    – I have an open mind towards Camille. I think she was truly mortified about how she appeared on the show and clearly apologized. She didn’t even throw Allison Dubois under the bus. I also see her point (to some extent) about the editing, particularly regrading Faye R.. The bottom line is that she had a horrible year and was at her worst. So I’m giving her a second chance.

    – I agree with the theory that RHONYC was delayed because it is boring and needs to be spiced up through editing.

  63. TLM says:

Shock of shocks, Cedric the sleazebag has changed his story again. Now he says he wasn’t really living in Lisa’s house, that she asked him to move in with her and she lied to Bravo. I suppose this is the scorched earth policy – if he can’t extort money from the Vanderpumps, he’ll go to the press and lie anyway. What a loser. Even though he probably doesn’t have a dime to his name (unless he’s found a new benefactor), I hope they sue his ass.

    • NormaJean says:

The Cedric drama is ridiculous to me. Let’s face it, Ken and Lisa have been involved with this guy for supposedly 15 years. They had the money to check him out, so if they got taken it was their own fault. On the other hand, if Cedric is telling the truth, then shame on them and him for being frauds.

How disgusting was the clip that followed though. Jill, Luann, and Kelly trashing Bethenny. Kelly’s reveling in the delusion that she defeated Bethenny.

    • Zipit Zarin says:

That second one with Jill, Countless and KooKoo was just painful to watch. No wonder they postponed the next season. KooKoo repeating big words she has no idea the meaning of, Countless saying her contribution is being in heat, and Foghorn pushing her lameass book no one wants along with girdles. They seriously think they are compelling.

      • Pay attention to LuAnn and Jill’s faces when Kelly is speaking. I don’t think they like her.
Kelly is a moron, who did she think was going to believe that little line about everything being good now that Bethenny isn’t there to attack anyone? Does she think that’s going to win her fans? Someone needs to remind KuKu that Bethenny didn’t get kicked off the show, she left because she has her own show and doesn’t need Housewives anymore.

      • HD says:

LOL @ the Kelly comment! Too funny! Did you hear Luann keep saying, “there’s a lot of drama”. She sure seemed like she was selling the show. I do not really see what drama these women can drum up. I think they are determined to prove that Bethanny did not make the show when in fact, she did.

        • Kansas Girl says:

Well, think about Luann’s definition of drama. Divorce, losing her maid, dating a much younger man. zzzzzzz

  64. Zipit Zarin says:

The best part of all is Foghorn is stuck pretending she likes KooKoo. It reminds me of Woody Allen. He can never divorce his step-daughter because it would be an admission he’s a pedophile slash incestual assholio, even tho he’s a serial cheater and can’t commit to anyone. Foghorn can’t ditch KooKoo cuz that would be admitting she used her like Woody used Sun Yi. Both are tied forever with someone they fought to be with. It really doesn’t get better than than. And no one had to lift a finger to condemn them to that fate. They did it to themselves.

    • Adgirl says:

Gaaaak, is that old fart steal fooling around after his messy break-up and marriage?

(just trying to imagine Woody Allen groupies are …. who? Jill’s mom Gloria?)

      • Zipit Zarin says:

Adgirl, I have a theory. I think Woody gets off directing hot actresses in love scenes (who wouldn’t) but seriously…I think it’s his way way of fantacizing and putting it on camera, in a movie makes it somehow legit. I think all directors do it, not just him. What other job can you make people take their clothes off and make love and you take pictures of it and it’s not called being a Peeping Tom with a camera?

        • Zipit Zarin says:

And in the movie Manhatten, you not only get to fool around with the underage, you get nominated for an Oscar. Same with Roman Polasnski. Now that I think about it, both were charged with being pedophiles and both escaped.

I got it the second time I tried. Such a nasty trio. And Jill said that she coaches Kelly.

If ever there was an ad to NOT watch this delayed season, this was it! I would have much rather seen Ramona, Sonja and Alex sitting there pushing the show.

    Sparkles
    U so smart !
Klmh (wish I had been around)
Yes I was drawing a picture of how Taylor tried to scam Adriana into being Kennedy’s Godmother. I admit I smiled when Taylor’s scam did not work & she was publicly outed.
I was asked to b a Godmother at least 6 Xs & said no each time.
I wasn’t married & would say I can barely take care of my(single)self. I don’t know where I will b in the future and this is a life time commitment to b present at birthdays, graduations, confirmations etc. And most important to b involved w/the childs spiritual development. It’s more than an honor in my book. In my faith a child has a God Mother & God Father.

Finally, very dear friends with their 1st child, ignored my objections. They called & said ur name is on the Church program & on the christening (Episcopal) certificate so just get here. When I arrived at the airport the Dad was there w/a banner that said : Welcome Godmother L–.
At the house, over the crib was a very large sign saying :
L–‘s God child. It made me cry. Suddenly I realized that as a single gal, this honor and life long commitment, was stronger than marriage. U don’t get divorced and I would always have a home for the holidays. I suddenly felt happy & secure I could do it. And I have. A very flattering thing happened next. I am God Mother to their 3 children !
Again, I am very flattered & blessed. My friends said it wouldn’t be fair to the other 2, not to have Godmother L– too !
They call me Godmother. I sign letters “THE Godmother”. It has been one of my greatest pleasures in life. Today they r all stars & all in impressive schools & all leaders. The best is they all have strong faiths that lead their character.
So u can see I take God mothering very seriously.
    I would bet Adriana’s
Impressive character is led by a strong faith. My impression of Taylor is that her God is $$$.
Adriana Doesn’t want to b the Godmother because she knows that she & taylor aren’t on the same page and would never agree. Taylor who thinks it’s a name only gig & a prestigious relationship & throw in presents & $$$ . Adriana is no fool she never agreed. She probably said “we will see” just to shut her up.

    • Sparkles says:

      WSL,
ITA with your theory about Traylor’s reasons for pushing Adrienne to be the Godmother. It would also help legitimize the Armstrongs in the community (“they must be on the up and up because they’re practically family with the Maloofs!”)
On a happier note, that is a beautiful personal story about becoming a real Godmother,

    • Kansas Girl says:

WSL, what a lovely story and so funny that your friends bossed you into a position you didn’t want but discovered that you love. Those children are very lucky to have you!

I remember your storyline from some time back about how Taylor might have convinced Adrienne to take on this position. I absolutely love this video clip because I think it shows so much. It made me wonder if this was the first time Adrienne realized Taylor has been using her name as godmother. And “we’ll see” at the end, I took to mean that Adrienne will not be taking on this job, but will turn her down off camera. What I really love is that we see Adrienne has figured Taylor out and is not taken in by the persona she’s tried to create. I think Adrienne and Kim have much to talk about along this line.

The whole Taylor business and your commentary on it reminds me we have to keep our eyes open all the time. So now it has me looking a bit askance at my financial adviser who recently bought into a water-ionizing health scheme that a simple Google search tells me is a scam. Is my trust in her misplaced? (You don’t have to answer that — I’m asking myself.)

    • NormaJean says:

WSL, what a wonderful story. Obviously, your friends chose wisely. If I remember correctly Adrienne is Catholic, which would make being a godparent serious business for her too. I love how Adrienne let us know in a classy way that the Armstrongs are not close friends to them.

    • California35 says:

      Good for Adrianne!!

WSL – great story as always. I think the same about being or having a godmother/godfather. It was nice of your friends to insist, and that showed that they really wanted you too. What a GREAT idea to be the godmother of all three!!!

    • klmh says:

      WSL:

Somehow I missed your post on the “imaginary” godmother situation between Adrienne and Taylor. Thanks for letting me know.
Both you and your godchildren are very lucky to have each other. Congrats!

    • If You Had It Like This says:

I agree! And I have a feeling Adrienne was none too impressed by Taylor’s behavior on this show. They don’t always see how the others are behaving until the season airs. She might have been a little shocked and dismayed by Taylor.

    • twoile says:

@WSL, Thrice Blessed how wonderful for all of you. Enjoy the blessings<3

  67. vilzvet says:

Regarding Cedric, I had an idea last night after rewatching the Reunion Part II and listening to Lisa and Ken, that I believe Cedric did do some sort of blackmail, but it was along the lines of: “I will tell the tabloids that Lisa made me her boy toy on demand”…because I can’t think of what else he could come up with! Has anyone else thought it could be something like that? He was going to make it sleazy, even though supposedly he is gay, that would not matter if he was going for money.

  68. Jeepers says:

    WSL, Sparkles,
Thanks for clarification, I will go back to my corner now. One day I just
