I Hate Jill Zarin  Million Dollar Listing / Watch What Happens Live

Million Dollar Listing Week Six By Quincy IL

Josh Flagg is with his dog, Godzilla, when the phone rings.  The call is from a friend Jason who is extremely wealthy.   Jason has a home in Hidden Valley which is 45 minutes from Beverly Hills. The home is on 20 acres of land.  Josh F goes to the home to see the property and the maid is not expecting him. She walks through the house with him.  The house is 10,000 sq. ft.  It has 6 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, state of the art theater, and saltwater swimming pool.  The master bedroom has a large sitting room. There is wood paneling in the library and marble in the kitchen.  Josh F thanks the maid and will call the owner from his car.

Madison and Heather are leaving a store called the County Market with lunch which they eat at a picnic table.  Madison receives an offer on the West Hollywood penthouse in the Russian neighborhood from Christie, the agent for a potential buyer, Dmitri.  The offer is for $775,000, but the house is listed for $995.000.  The owner Julian is under a great deal of pressure to sell.  Madison calls Lydia who is worried about the low offer.

Josh F calls Jason the seller of the Hidden Valley home. Jason wants $13,000,000. The commission would be $387,000. Josh F believes the price should be $11,000,000.  If the house sits on the market, he feels Jason will lower his price.

Josh A is in a dark suit with a white shirt. MIkey , Josh’s assistant, arrives dressed casually with his baseball cap on backwards.   Josh A has a potential buyer of a $10,000,000 to $20,000 000.  A representative of the foreign buyer will arrive by private jet and have one day to look at the properties with Josh A.  Josh A thinks this representative can purchase the home without input from the owner.

Josh F holds brokers ‘open in Hidden Valley for Jason’s house.  The menu includes macaroni with a special cheese, truffles, watermelon with balsamic vinegar reduced, lobster and chicken curry. He eats during the showing.  He shows the pool to a broker and offers the broker food and drinks.  At the end, he holds his stomach with his hand to show that he is very full. He thinks his feedback from the brokers’  open house is good.

Josh A meets the representative of the very rich foreigner on the tarmac as the representative leaves a small private jet.  The representative is in a plaid shirt and jeans.  Josh A comments about his clothes in the interview.

Madison has gone to Lydia’s office and she is worried about the reaction of Julian the seller to the low ball offer.  Julian wants to listen to the call from Christie, the buyer’s agent.  Julian gets upset and refuses to go below $825,000. Julian states that this is a gift.  He walks out of the negotiations very upset.  Madison thinks the deal is dead.

Josh A has driven to the top of Beverly Hills to show a $12,000,000 house to the representative.  The house is 15,000 sq. ft.  It has 9 bedrooms and 9 Bathrooms. There are two master bedrooms.  There is a 2 story guest house.  The house is made for entertaining and there is a 15 ft projection screen that drops down from the ceiling. The house has canyon views.   The representative wants a  6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms house with a large area for the staff”, but he is not interested in this house. They end the tour leaving the listing agent a bit upset that she was not allowed to show then entire estate. Josh A likes to be respectful of the agent’s time, but the representative is in a time crunch because he has to leave in 5 hours.

Josh F has gone back to Jason’s house to wait for a possible buyer and his agent. The agent is having trouble finding the listing.  Josh F discusses the location of the car with the buyer and agent several times and we see him waiting inside and outside. Finally, a call comes cancelling the showing as the buyer got stuck in traffic and has to return to the city. Josh F says that they should not stand people up.

Josh A takes the representative to a gated community, Beverly Park, to see a $19,500,000 house.  The house is 20,000 sq.ft. The entrance is huge with large glass windows. There is a 12 person Jacuzzi, an infinity pool,  a panic room closet, a guest house and a basketball court. Normally, Josh A can tell if someone is going to buy, but he is unable to read the representatives expressions.

Josh F is with his grandmother in her Penthouse. (Josh’s grandmother brought polyester to the USA. She owns a lot of commercial properties in LA also.)  His grandmother is 90 years old.  She tells Josh that he should write a book about selling real estate, he objects saying that he is only 25 years old, but decides to write the book.

Josh A is at home and his “girlfriend” Heather (Madison’s assistant) shows up for dinner. She tells Josh A that she wants to go back into selling real estate. She worked as Madison’s assistant for 2 years, but she is a licensed agent with 7 years of experience. Heather is tired of driving from West Hollywood to Malibu and wants to work with Madison, but from West Hollywood where she lives and knows the homes. If her suggestion to Madison is not accepted, Josh A will try to get Heather a job with one of his friends in West Hollywood.

Josh F goes to the Four Season’s Hotel and check in to write his book. He wears a white robe and tries several times to write. He calls his mom and gets some help. He sold his first house from a high school English literature class classroom for over one million dollars.

Josh A is calling and leaving messages for the representative.  He is asleep when the representative calls from London with an offer of $15,000,000.  That is $4,500,000 less than the listing price.  Josh tells his dogs that it is early and goes back to bed.

Heather and Madison are in the Malibu office when a call comes from Christie with a counter offer on the deal for the West Hollywood penthouse.  The offer comes by fax and it is for $825,000 and the deal is accepted.  The commission will be $24,750. That has to be shared with Lydia. Madison is upset that Heather told him that she wants to sell in West Hollywood.  Madison asks Heather if Josh A has anything to do with this.

Thanks Quincy!  Great job!  ~Lynn

Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen

Guest:  Bethenny Frankel

I think that Andy really and sincerely likes Bethenny, he knows she’ll always be entertaining, she’ll always answer every question honestly and he seems to enjoy her company.

The poll question tonight was “Do you think it is a good idea or a bad idea that Jason works with Bethenny”.  I love how Bethenny is always calling Andy out on these poll questions, the are rather lame sometimes and most of us can usually predict what the response would be.  Bethenny was sure the audience would vote that it was a “bad idea”.

Bethenny explained that Jason is really good in the areas where she is not so good and they compliment each other well.  Andy used the “Ying and Yang” description.

Andy’s three obsessions this week:

1.  The face that scares me every time I see it, one of the Miami Housewives’ mother they call Momma Elsa.  Andy showed a montage of her and it is definitely cringe worthy and a bit scary.  Another great reason not to watch that show!

2.  Bethenny’s relationship with her baby nurse, Gina is really cute.  Andy showed a clip of the two ladies at the spa and Gina asking about a vagina wax.  Gina is hysterical without even trying, she keeps a straight face while making everyone laugh.  Bethenny was very lucky to find Gina, Andy and Bethenny agreed, they couldn’t have cast the role better if it were a scripted show.

3.  Out of the NBC archives, Andy pulled Bethenny’s last moments on Martha Stewart’s Apprentice, Ole Martha was pretty rough on Bethenny and basically told her that all of the things she was doing would not get her anywhere in this business.  Yet as Bethenny pointed out, all of those things were perfectly ok for Bravo!  Bethenny added that sometimes when you meet your hero, it can be a bit disappointing.

Bravo released a video of some scenes from Bethenny Ever After with producers commentary, you can view them here:

Bethenny was asked by a viewer about her relationship with her in-laws, a subject that was a major focus for the first two episodes of her show.  I think she answered it the best way she could without giving anything away.  It sounds like they’ve come a long way since those scenes were filmed and have worked out a plan that everyone can live with.  Bethenny simply said, “we’ve graduated from that a bit”.

Bethenny explained that it is difficult to go from zero to sixty in the family department and while this is the family that she’s always wanted, they also have to understand that it is a whole new world for her and it takes time to adjust.  Jason’s parents watched Monday’s episode with Bethenny and Jason and I’m sure it was uncomfortable at times but I think it’s great that they’re open and honest and discuss everything freely rather than keeping it bottled up.

A viewer asked Bethenny if she and Jason discussed the “moving to California” comment that Jason made at dinner with his parents.  Her response was perfect!  We don’t relive that stuff, we just move on.  I’m sure Jason knows it wasn’t the best comment to make so why beat him up over it, particularly when Bethenny’s made plenty of her own.

Of course Andy had to ask Bethenny about Jill Zarin and her comments that their friendship wasn’t real, it was just a TV friendship.  I love Bethenny’s first reaction, she took her Mardi Gras beads and hung herself with them.  “Beating a dead friendship” was a good description as clearly Bethenny was finished talking about Jill Zarin.  It seemed as though Bethenny found it easiest to just agree with Jill, “yes, it was a TV friendship”.   Moving on…

Andy showed a preview clip of The Real Housewives of New York featuring Ramona Singer interviewing assistants for her company.  The always inappropriate Ramona talked about their attire and their skin rather than focusing on their ability to do the job she was trying to fill.  It was rather funny and Bethenny’s only remark, “yes, she’s renewed!”  Cohen laughed.

Next question for Bethenny was who does she miss the most and the least from the cast of The Real Housewives of New York.  She chose Ramona after viewing that clip as the most missed and no surprise that she missed Kelly Bensimon the least, calling her “scary”.

Andy and Bethenny talked a bit about NeNe being on Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice.  Bethenny’s advice to NeNe is to “go for it” and “focus”.  Telling her not to get sidetracked but just keep shooting for her goals.

*** Spoiler Alert ***  Celebrity Apprentice

The news coming out of The Apprentice is that NeNe quits rather than waiting to get fired.  I haven’t seen every episode of this show in the past but I think I recall this happening once before.  Quitting is typically not an option and really paints the contestant as a coward.  Usually someone who quits knows that they’re about to be fired and feels as though quitting would be less humiliating.  We’ll have to wait and see what happens with NeNe and the Trumpster.

Bethenny was asked if she felt that she was too hard on the people of Jason’s hometown of Hazelton, Pennsylvania.  While she admitted she was a bit rough, she also acknowledged that she said what she thought and felt at the time.   Bethenny added that if her show was full of all sweetness and light, the show would be pretty boring.  I have to agree with her.

Bethenny acknowledged that she’s getting good and bad feedback from the show but she understands that certain things will be taken differently by different people.  What some find offensive, others find funny but she is just telling it like it is, from her perspective.

Bethenny asked if she dyed her hair, she admitted she gets the gray hair dyed but that she is wearing her natural hair color.  Next question, who is the “bigger bitch”  Martha Stewart or Johnny Wier.  Johnny wins hands down!  Asked what percentage she would say she compromises with Jason, Bethenny said 32%.

Andy Cohen’s Mazel this week was awarded to the world’s youngest Grandmother.  A young lady who gave birth at 12 years old to a baby girl, that baby girl gave birth at 11 years old making her a 23 year old Grandmother.

The Jackhole this week, a dog named Cosmo who ate his masters toes while he slept.  The dog’s owner apparently had Diabetes and his toes were deteriorating fast so the dog was doing him a favor?  Where does Cohen find these stories?  Moving on…

The Poll results were predictable 62% felt it would be a bad idea for Jason to work with Bethenny.  While it wasn’t the landslide Bethenny thought it would be and I doubt it will affect Bethenny and Jason’s working relationship, Andy felt the need to get public opinion.  There you have it, Watch What Happens Live for Tuesday night.  Next Tuesday Andy welcomes Kathy Griffin, another funny lady who doesn’t hold back, and is a Housewives fan!

Tonight on Bravo, Top Chef All Stars!  Lets hope they actually eliminate someone this week.  I personally think that the most talented chef’s are already gone, but I am hoping that Carla and Richard end up in the final two.  Carla is somewhat inconsistent and Richard has gotten pretty arrogant this season but this is what we’re left with.

If you haven’t seen it yet, the new preview for The Real Housewives of New York is pretty good!

I think I know already based on these  previews that I’m not going to like Luann again this season!  If you keep watching the next video on the Bravo site is the newest NY housewife Cindy Barshop taking us on a tour of her home and meeting her twin baby’s.  Take a look.

Thank you to Boston02127 who found a few interesting links:

All ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Cast Are Back for Season 2

It seems after Camille and Kim both confirmed they would not be returning for another season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, they’ve both been convinced to do it, I’ll bet it wasn’t Kyle who convinced either one of them.  She would probably prefer if they both left the show.

Silverman Happy Wife, Happy Life, Unhappy Comedian — Nashville Comic Sues ‘Real Housewife’

More legal troubles for the Giudice’s, apparently the brilliant Joe Giudice wasn’t the first to coin the term “Happy Wife, Happy Life” and putting it on a t-shirt and marketing it wasn’t the best idea.  Poor Teresa!

Finally, this is a pretty funny link posted by a few people on yesterday’s blog, in case you missed it, Michaele Salahi is at it again, anything to get on TV:

    “He eats during the showing.”

thats putting it mildly he eats and eats and eats where does he put it

  2. DJ Fruit Loops says:

“Another great reason not to watch that show!”

there is actually no real good reason not to watch
as the show isnt boring as others kept insisting after the first one aired
it does get better each week and some of the claws have started to show
im already looking foward to the reunion
yes her moms face is scary its def a example of what happenes when you cant stop going to the plastic surgeon that being said she IS funny as hell as a self proclaimed witch

    • Bea from NJ (@sweeetbea on Twitter) says:

I’m completely enjoying the Miami wives. They remind me of many of my friends & Larsa is a dead ringer (looks & attitude wise) of a really good friend of mine.

Marysol’s mom, Elsa, is an absolute riot .. she has me LOL all the time. The only one I have not warmed up to yet is Lea .. what a bitch she is!! And Adriana with her non-existent time-management ways drives me batty!

      It’s a fun show so far ;-D

      • Sha2000 says:

Elsa is hysterical, great sense of humor. I also like the blond (name?) & the advice she gave her son on how much hard work it takes to make money. Finally a HW who’s not faking her wealth and sending a responsible financial message. Also have to add that I LOVED the paintings, I wish I could by the one of Dr. King ( my idol and I love the colors) and liked the Barry Gibb & Enrique Iglesias (I’m a big fan of both) and thought for a sec when she said there was to be a performance that it could be Enrique….too bad!

        • Sha2000 says:

sigh, I’m getting worse at the typos lately, sorry guys.

          • DJ Fruit Loops says:

Sha im the queen (king) of Typos LOL
I loved that Barry Gibb portrait you can only imagine how much they go for

        • Bea from NJ (@sweeetbea on Twitter) says:

It drove me nuts when Larsa bought her 16 year old brother a brand new SUV!! Did she not experience his driving??!!!! That boy needs a used car as his 1st car! I see a major accident in the near future for this child!

          • Sha2000 says:

Sorry, I am not a Larsa fan at all….

            • jeang says:

So now its gone from not blogging about Miami to outright boycott of viewing? I think it is courageous for both Marisol and Elsa to appear because they both know the negative reactions they are going to get. You would think by now people would judge what is inside the woman instead of how she looks. Sure Elsa made a huge mistake, but looks like she is living with it instead of going into hiding.

              • Sha2000 says:

“I think it is courageous for both Marisol and Elsa to appear because they both know the negative reactions they are going to get.”

                I think Marisol looks great.

              • DJ Fruit Loops says:

i would never boycott a bravo show
with elsa i am sure there was more then one mistake made but who knows what she looked like to start out with and yes your right it is more important whats inside then out

      • JKW says:

I like the show too. I don’t think it’s boring. I like Lea Black. She is no nonsense and doesn’t put up with alot of the BS. Her charity auction was great. I loved her phone call to WWHL when Christy was on. Adrianna doesn’t have a clue with being late all the time. It’s tough to tell if Elsa is drunk or if it’s just slurring from those lips.

        • Amber...RealWife says:

I’m enoying RHOM’s characters and supporting cast. They are a mess, but it’s lovely to watch. The mother is a maniac, as she drinks her gallon cup of wine, saying “I didn’t marry a gringo to have fake flowers!” Love it! Her daughter is very loving and respectful of her quirky mom. The BBWives are annoyingly conceited, and Alexia gives Carolinebacker a run for her money on the overprotective mother routine. I’ve become a fan of Lea as she is slightly eccentric but has traditional values.

          • JKW says:

Lea’s outfit for the art show was a bit odd..esp those bedazzled glasses. It’s kind of nice that she doesn’t give a damn and wears whatever. Alexia is very odd. After the big talk to her son about eating healthy on the cruise, keeping thin for modeling…she puts out all kinds of pastries for his breakfast. TVgasm does a great and snarky recap on Miama. They call her busted up Barbie. They wanted Elsa on all the time because she gives them such great material.

            • DJ Fruit Loops says:

I want leas glasses so bad LOL i just do
i kept thinking she looked like Eileen Brennan as Mrs. Peacock in the film clue LOL

      • DJ Fruit Loops says:

        I think so too
is Adriana the one that manages the art gallery
whoever that one is should get out of the buisness you simply dont show other peoples work at an artist show
no wonder that guys partner flipped out

        • JKW says:

Adrianna ( TVgasm calls her Adridrama ) is the one with the art gallery. I can see her point in a way. The jerky artist screwed around and didn’t have even half the work done. He didn’t really seem to give a crap either. I think she felt she had to have something else just in case there weren’t enough paintings. I didn’t see anything wrong with a preview of the next artist. Then again, I would be there early or at least on time. How did she even know things were done ? Talk about high maintenance !

  3. LOL @ Bethenny’s comment about Jill beating a dead friendship. If Jill had any sense, she would stop talking about Bethenny in interviews. I have a feeling that most of Jill’s scenes in the first episode of RHONY will be her whining about Bethenny AGAIN.

    • Laura says:

“If Jill had any sense”…….keyword(s) here……Ehhhhh, wrong! lol (pointing out the obvious b/c I’m home waiting for a roofer to come fix my leaky roof today!)

    • Sha2000 says:

She should stop, it seems kind of sad…I guess their friendship meant a lot to her but she realized too late and so insists on public denial of it even ever existing because it hurts. Who knows? But that’s how it’s starting to look in my opinion.

    • quincyil says:

It is my guess that Jill is very hurt by Bethenny ending the relationship. Jill expected to be forgiven. After watching the preview of season four at bravtotv.com, I think season four will be Jill’s demands that she be forgiven rather than a return to season one’s fun like Jill Zarin said in an recorded interview that I found online and shared with Lynn.

I am writing about their trip to Morocco so the film on the preview comes at perfect time. LOL.. Thank you so much Bravo for that scoop.

      • WindyCityWondering says:

IMO – Forgiving doesn’t always include continuing the relationship. Bethenny did seem to forgive Jill’s behavior/justifications but she never made it seem that they would be friends again. IIRC, B said things would have to be different and Jill said she couldn’t change. That should have been the end but we know that Jill can’t let it go.

        • quincyil says:

That is so true. I think everyone is supposed to forgive Jill if she asks, but she never forgives.

          • tootsie says:

and………..Jill say’s, in her book, a person should try three times for forgiveness, if forgiveness isn’t given they are no friend, walk away from the relationship. How many times did Bethenny desperately try to talk with Jill? THREE. B begged to talk things through….THREE TIMES. Go read you own book Jill. If you want to talk endlessly about the break-up do it with someone who cares……we don’t.

  4. cusi77 says:

Thank you Lynn for another great Blog! Thanks Quincy! I am not watching MDL but thanks for your report!

Have a nice day everyone! I will catch up later this evening.

  5. HD says:

I missed the MDL show last night. All this moving around of shows…

At any rate I couldn’t tell from the blog…Did Josh take the 15 million dollar deal?

When Madison asked Josh A did he have anything to do with the woman wanting to leave what did he say?

I guess I can watch it huh? Duh!

    • quincyil says:

The discussion between Madison and Josh A was a preview….so far Madison is in shock and he asked Heather if Josh A had anything to do with it. She said, “No.” Josh A seemed interested in this and he knew about Heather’s desire to sell before Madison. Josh A offered his assistance in Heather finding a new position of it doesn’t work out with Madison.

Josh Flagg doesn’t have an offer on the yellow mansion yet.

Josh Altman was in bed when an offer came on the $19.9 million dollar house. The offer from the representative of the rich foreigners was for $15 million. It was so low that he turned over and pretended to go back to sleep.

      • Rabble Rouser says:

        He turned it down?

I was kinda sleeping myself when all that happened but I thought they are required to bring all offers to the table, especially since he wasn’t representing the seller but the buyer.

        • quincyil says:

No, he didn’t like the offer, but he accepted it in the early morning before sunrise. He will have to take it to the seller’s agent next week.

  6. girlygirlnyc says:

I hope I post this link correctly. Here is PS 22’s response to Andy’s jackhole comments about them

At least he finally admitted that he speaks without thinking…

    • Sha2000 says:

Maybe he should have thought it & not said it? I didn’t watch the Academy Awards but if I did that part of the show would have sent me to the bathroom or the refrigerator. Sorry kids!

      • Sha2000 says:

Okay the teacher makes a good lesson out of the experience, reads Andy’s note to them and then ruins the lesson by asking them to sing “it’s too late to apologize”??? !!! ??? And he’s the “jackhole”??? I don’t think so….

The lesson here should be -Adults should know when to shut up.

        • girlygirlnyc says:

I thought the same thing about the song. Why undo all of the things you just told them? Sometimes people don’t like you, move on.

          • Sha2000 says:

Yes, well said. Don’t get me wrong though those kids are talented, I just think that the AA was the wrong venue for them; especially since they weren’t in any of the nominated movies.

      • DJ Fruit Loops says:

it was the end of the show the kids were singing and all teh people that won an oscar that night came out on stage it was kind of cringe worthy and maybe he shouldnt have said it but most that watched thought it LOL

    • DJ Fruit Loops says:

well the link works but you cant veiw the vid as its gone private

  7. HD says:

After seeing Bethanny on WWHL I will give her the benefit of the doubt with her husband. Merging two lives is very difficult and having a baby thrown into the mix is even harder. Half the time I want to strangle my husband and the other half I love him. Oh well. (I won’t give her a break on her whining though.)

Nene-Typical Nene move. Don’t be a quitter! Often times with these shows as Bethanny has shown, you don’t have to win in order to parlay that into something great. We have seen it time and time again that often times the losers gets the spoils. She should have stuck it out and I do agree, she is a coward for quitting. I can hear her now, “there was just too much drama and I didn’t need it.” Yeah right. You knew your butt was gonna get fired. Give me a break!

I am so laughing at Michale for getting kicked out of Celeb Rehab. I am glad someone saw through her b.s. Addiction is a serious issue and not a time for 15 minutes of fame. I just posted on the other blog that a former Celeb Rehab member died yesterday. Dr. Drew doesn’t have time for her games.

    • Sha2000 says:

Yup, I knew the rehab stunt was BS! I agree it’s a serious issue but those two clowns apparently don’t take anything seriously; not that it’s wrong to feign addiction, not that it’s wrong to crash state events, not that it’s wrong to accuse a young girl of stealing on national tv when she was innocent. Ugg, disgusting behavior -ALL of it. Forget the Miami boycott, those too should be boycotted, the lack of attention would melt them as fast as throwing water on witches in old time movies did.

    • cdnfillie58 says:

ITA HD…once I saw her on WWHL, I started respecting her a bit more again.

    • LavaLady says:

HD, do you have the link to the article about Nene quitting CA. I tried the one on the previous blog, but nothing happened. Do you remember the website? I went to Reality Tea, but nothing was there about it. But Reality Tea is saying that Dr. Drew tested Michaele for MS, and the test was negative.

      • Mimisfbay says:

Whaaaaaa? OMG that is huge news. They do a complete blood workup so I guess it would show up. Aren’t there a couple of medical people on this blog?

        • Nancy says:

You CANNOT rule in/rule out a diagnosis of MS with a blood test. You need to do a LP and brain studies
          (MRI etc). Sorry folks.

          • Mimisfbay says:

Thanks. I doubt that the show is going to have her undergo an MRI. Huge expense and she probably wouldn’t agree to it anyway.

            • JKW says:

Even if she had the MRI, unless the MS lesions are active they wouldn’t show up. It is a difficult disease to diagnose. Mostly by ruling out other things.

      • HD says:

Hey, Lava Lady. I don’t have a link. I was just going by what was posted. I will look for one though.

Also, Dr. Drew said the test was negative for MS? Uh huh! I knew the truth would come out! I didn’t believe she had MS for one minute. I believe Dr. Drew. I know to go on some of these shows you are given very rigourous physicals and whatnot. I believe Dr. Drew probably tested that woman for everything. Yep, no MS. Who lies like that?

        • Sha2000 says:

Tested negative for MS but positive for BS.

        • Rabble Rouser says:

I’m sure they would have been clued in when she checked in because you have to list all the medications you are on. They would know if she was taking any drugs used in treating MS.

I wonder if Dr.Drew saying she doesn’t have MS is a violation of HIPPA law or if they had to sign some sort of waiver for the show.

Either way, I am sure the grease balls will try to sue.

          • quincyil says:

There is probably a release signed for the show. How stupid is she to go on a show like that?

          • Imseasquared says:

You hit the nail on the head. According to TMZ Salahi IS trying to sue for illegal firing. Gee, Charlie Sheen much?? I’m guessing Dr. Drew had to reveal that she didn’t have MS as a defense to them trying to sue for firing someone with a handicap under the ADA.

          • JKW says:

I don’t know how he can say that. There is NO test for MS. It is basically treating symptoms and ruling out other diseases. They do MRIs to check for active lesions. When they are remission the lesions may not be active so it’s not definitive. If they see active lesions then they can diagnose MS.

            • 2Stupid says:

J is right. There is not “test” for MS. My mom has had it for 40 yrs, and that is why the whole MS controversy made me sick. My mom is in a flare up right now and if very scared she is not going to regain any use of her legs back. The amount of medicine my mom is on right now would float a boat. You can be relatively normal while in remission, but it is next to impossible to walk away from a flare up with no permanent damage. The only reason my mom has been so lucky is her neurologist is one of the leading research doctors and is always able to get my mom on medicine in the experimental stages. This is a topic I am very passionate about because it concerns my mom. She is only 60 and has lost her eyesight when I was 10, is having to get dentures because of all the prednisone she has taking over the years, is on antidepressants for the same reason, and isn’t even strong enough to hold my children. Yet she is still considered VERY lucky by MS standards. I hate for someone to make a mockery of a very real disease, but VERY VERY hard to diagnose. The grifters know this.

              • JKW says:

I agree 2Stupid…I think that is exactly why she is saying she has MS. No way to actually prove she has it/or doesn’t. Usually starts with eye problems, even blindness so it seems everyone goes to eye Drs. first. If you do have it a neurologist is your best bet. I am sorry to hear about your mom. It is a horrible disease. One of my friends was just diagnosed…after she had problems with her eyesight.

                • 2Stupid says:

Tell her to find a neurologist specializing in MS. My mom has to take daily injections, but other than losing her eyesight (not completely) she has lived a relatively nomral life until the last few years. I really believe they are making gret strides in research, but I think the right dr. is key.

                  • JKW says:

She has been seeing a neurologist. Her symptoms decreased ( which is kind of normal..first time they are very severe ). She has been doing really well and has decided to not take the injections at this point. If Salahi is only going to a family Dr…and not a neurologist that’s probably a good clue that she doesn’t want to be found out.

              • Undermywheels says:

Has your mom tried 4AP? It’s a potassium channel blocker that is effective for getting the signals through. It just got FDA approval last yr. After being used for a long time for MS and SCI.

      • quincyil says:

I bet that is why she left the show. Holy cow… That is a very big lie. Her mom believed her for years.

The physician that she mentioned was a family practice doctor, not a neurologist. Generally, people with MS go to specialists. I thought that was odd at the time.

        • Sha2000 says:

          BUSTED!!!! LOL!!! LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

You can bet that in a million years these two dummies would NEVER think that that would have been double checked with the blood work! I’m not a Dr. Drew fan but I am now!!! Hope they filmed & air that part, I’d love to see the looks on their faces!!!

I still wish that they had done time for crashing, honestly as a citizen I resent that they pulled that stunt!

      • kbinldo says:

        Busted. 🙂

        • Sha2000 says:

          Look what TMZ is saying:

“Over the weekend we got Tareq Salahi out in Los Angeles who told us that Michaele’s only addiction was probably to chocolate.”

Okay so you willingly sing up for a show that deals in REAL addiction? Until you are busted that is?

          Shaking my head….

          • Sha2000 says:

Hey a few of us are addicted to this blog, should we be concerned?

            • quincyil says:

I wonder what she told them her addiction was. I would watch the premier of that show just to find out what she claimed and bring it to the board.

            • quincyil says:

I think there should be a new Bravo reality show based on the IHJZ blog.

As unofficial pretend soothsay with a lot of geode crystals in my creek bed, I think that show would be a hit.

            • Adgirl says:

HEY! I can quit this blog anytime I like! Really! Like maybe I’ll quit tomorrow. Oh wait Top Chef is on. And BEA. How about after that? Nope RHNY is on.
Nevermind. But I can quit anytime. Really.

              • Rabble Rouser says:

Speaking of quitting things- are any of the Catholics here giving anything up for lent?

I’m giving up wine and junk food, I figure if I fail on one, I have a back up.

                • boston02127 says:

@Rabble Rouser–I’m giving up swearing. Hate to admit it but I swear a lot. Hopefully by the end of Lent, I’ll be a new person.

                  • 2Stupid says:

I gave up sodas and gossiping about people I really know. I was very specific on that one since what we do here could be construed as gossiping. I also go to mass an extra time a week. My priest would like us to go everyday, but I can’t fit that into my schedule this time of year.

                • Sha2000 says:

Does my giving up Catholicism count ; ) ?

                  • tootsie says:

Yes, giving up Catholicism does count. I’m giving up sex. At 75 and 78 we’d rather cross stitch or take a nap.

      • I read about NeNe quitting Celebrity Apprentice on Stoopid Housewives’ blog. Here’s the link:

        • WindyCityWondering says:

NeNe doesn’t play well with others and had to be somewhat insecure being with real celebrities with real achievements. If Starr had to get security (very smart) then NeNe had to leave – because bullies are cowards at heart! NBC could have been a springboard to other opportunities and NeNe failed to see that.

          • quincyil says:

She looked good in week one. Something must have happened to make her leave.

            • WindyCityWondering says:

She looked meek, out of her element and was hoping someone would notice her! She did well answering the phone!

              • DJ Fruit Loops says:

she didnt look meek to me
she answered Trumps question straightfoward and w/o hesitation and she was working well with everyone including Starr

        • DJ Fruit Loops says:

          i hate blogs like that
that post things without any actual facts to back em up
No one even knows for sure if NeNe is off that show yet
and some take this as gospel

    • DJ Fruit Loops says:

does anyone really know that the NeNe story is true
theyve only aired one eppy so far

  8. cdnfillie58 says:

Thanks again Lynn … you be my hero..not only do you like in what I consider my favourite US city but you also posted a pic of yourself standing in front of Zarin fabrics. I wanna be a fly on JZ wall when she saw this….priceless. Back to work now 😛

  9. Mimisfbay says:

I loved the ML last night and the constant eating and lounging of Josh F makes for hilarious tv. You can’t make this stuff up! I love his grandmother! The more I see of JA the more I like him but his assistant would drive me to drink. Madison just seems like a hard working guy and his reaction to Heather’s request to open West Hollywood speaks volumes. His concern that JA is using her may or may not be true but I love that he questions his motives. The guy has that radar that I totally lack.

Lynn, I agree with you about WWHL Bethenney is just the best guest. The fact that they dug up the old Martha tape…wow. She makes everyone, even Trump, look mild. Also just loved that she said that MS was a basically a marshmallow compared to JW. I still can’t stand that jerk. Did she hire Nick? I’m so lost.

    • quincyil says:

Next week on Bethenny Ever After, she talks to Max about his job performance. I think Max is in trouble. We don’t know about Nic yet, but I have my fingers crossed for Nic.

      • kbinldo says:

I thought she should have hired him in the first place. I’m glad he’s back for season 2. 🙂 Nerds rule!

      • WindyCityWondering says:

Couldn’t tell from the Preveiw clip but I think Max’s days are numbered. Julie looked like he was getting fired and Bethenny let him speak his peace without interjecting. And Nic was a hoot in both his interview and his food crawl – IMO he is a more natural fit for the food portion of Bethenny’s businesses.

        • quincyil says:

I bet Nic would go to the production site and find out why her bottles are in a bottle neck too.

          • JKW says:

I think Nic is a good guy and I know Beth would like to help him. However, unless the job entails sitting in the house or eating, I don’t think he would be a good fit in the business end. Obviously he doesn’t deal with people very well and Jason had to tell him to look at him when shaking hands. He certainly wouldn’t be good with clients or asserting himself.

      • DJ Fruit Loops says:

        im following Nic on twitter
he may show up 5 more times on Bethenny BUT he hasnt said if she hired him or not and is still working at a movie theater so i tend to think it didnt happen But Max is def gone

  10. quincyil says:

Martha Stewart was really cruel to Bethenny during that last appretice show. I wonder if Bethenny will tell us what happen there. Bethenny was the favorite to win and then the rug was pulled out from under her feet. There has to be a reason that Marth did that. Bethenny would make a lot of money if that reason was in her book.

    • Mimisfbay says:

Q, Did you watch MS Apprentice? I didn’t but if that clip was any indication; Martha was just cruel. She didn’t just “fire” BF but made the dismissal personal. Phew! I agree that she should talk about both Apprentice and Skating in her book. In both instances the judges (?) went for her throat. Still she bounces back and thumbs her nose at all of them. Glad we are on the sidelines cheering her on!

      • quincyil says:

No, I didn’t watch any of these shows before. Lynn asked me to watch “The Celebrity Apprentice” for this blog and I said, “I watch anything the people here might want to discuss.”

        • Noreen says:

I watched MS Apprentice and loved it. And I loved Bethenny from day one. She is now just as she was then. I was floored when she was not hired. But they chose the “nice” woman with experience in publishing (the job was to work on Martha’s new health magazine). Looking back at Bethenny now, it could not have worked out better for her.

  11. Sha2000 says:

Okay I have to move this down-thread even just a bit, just so no one will miss it because it truly is funny:

Tareq tells TMZ what Michaele’s “addiction” is.

    • Adgirl says:

LOL. I guess there isn’t a category for being addicted to papparazzi attention.

      • Sha2000 says:

Chocolate! Besides being an insult to those truly dealing with real addictions…chocolate??? Really? Someone who’s a thin as a toothpick?

        • Adgirl says:

Why couldn’t they address her obvious eating disorder?

Maybe she refused in her contract to go there?

    • DJ Fruit Loops says:

hasnt she left him and wasnt he the one everyone said was the real creep and teh reason she became so messed up
its not suprising if he did get dumped that he would put her down now
i kept hearing she has a addiction to pills

  12. quincyil says:

It seems Bethenny’s shape wear will be bigger and better than Jill’s line. I wonder if they talked about this during their fake friendship.

    • Mimisfbay says:

Now that was a great article and endorsement for her shapewear. Her QVC appearances will be great because she is such a natural for the home shopper. I also liked that the writer mentioned plus sized women. You mean like most women? I hope that Bethenney produces the product for real women and not just for skinnygirls.

    • quincyil says:

There were four tweets about Jill’s girdles on her twitter recently. There is also a photo of Jill in leggings.

After I said that I would be sharing Jill’s tweets about her food, she never shared again. It’s been a long time now. Not one dessert or photo of a hamburger from a fast food restaurants on the way home from the Hamptons.

Now, the Jill Zarin twitter is really all about selling her many product lines.

Someone on our board said that Bethenny really uses her twitter to sell. Maybe, Lynn will let me blog Bethenny’s QVC shows. Lynn? What do you think? rotfl.

    • jeang says:

Lets see, Ramona has her line on HSN, Betheny on QVC and Jill and Luann and Kelly where? Nowhere!!!!!!

      • WindyCityWondering says:

Jill, LuAnn and Kelly have dibs on corners strategically located throughout NYC and the Hamptons – they sell authentically! Bethenny on the other hand is using business acumen and marketing skills which is totally unfairly hobaggy in nature. lol

      • kbinldo says:

they’re on whatever shopping channel fired Margene.

        • DJ Fruit Loops says:

that was w/o a doubt the funniest thing i ever read here

          Big Love Rules!

        • HD says:

How did you come up with that line!!! That was too damn funny! Margene! LMAO!!!

    • Adgirl says:

Jill will claim Bethenny stole her idea for girdles and brars.

      • HD says:

Bethanny on QVC…she’s about to get paid!

      • quincyil says:

I can remember my grandmother wearing a girdle before Jill or Bethenny were born.

        • Adgirl says:

I wear control top panty hose a lot to stop the jiggling.

          • quincyil says:

When I was young, girdles were “out of fashion.” I would never buy anything from Jill Zarin. Walmart has girdles for 5 bucks. I looked.

            • WindyCityWondering says:

Jill does not wear her girdle couture well – at times it looks like she can’t walk or bend as she is so squeezed.

              • quincyil says:

Jill is thin. You can see her collar bones in her low cut dresses. Her arms and legs are thin. Why does she have to wear two girdles at the same time.

Gretchen looks great in a bikini, yet she had on two spanx for the measurement in “The Fashion Show.”

They really don’t need to wear girdles at all.

  13. Rabble Rouser says:

Thank You Lynn and Quincy for the blogs.

I’ll have to come back and read the comments after my mind stops buzzing.
I can’t get over Andy feeling a 12 year old having sex (where she could not have really formed any consent) and giving birth- followed by an 11 having sex (again, where there could not have really been consent) and giving birth is worthy of a Mazel.

It’s SICK and SAD but then again Andy thinks women under his employment being drugged has humor in it.

    • HD says:

When he mentioned that I wondered what country they are living in? I know different cultures do things differently but I would not have given that a Mazel nor would I have said she was a GILF.

This world is known for treating women like chattel and he should just not have mentioned it. But so goes this world…

      • OneMoreInBoston says:

Andy’s cavalier attitude regarding this 12 year old girl giving birth just goes hand and hand with the rest of the misogyny I’ve seen him display. Like making light of being drugged in a nightclub?

I don’t know, I’m not really digging Andy too much lately.

        • WindyCityWondering says:

ditto – Andy doesn’t have a filter which is odd since Bravo shows and viewers would seem to be predominately women!

          • DJ Fruit Loops says:

            and gay men
and for the most part we gay men just have a different sense of humour then most heterosexual women
that being said every newspaper article i read on that youngest grand mom story told it with humour

        • Rabble Rouser says:

          I’m not feeling him either.

When he first started the reunion shows I really liked him but once WWHL came out, either his ego swelled or he got too comfortable and let his guard down.

Because he just comes across as a bitchy drunk who thinks everything is funny. He’s actually starting to disgust me.

      • Rabble Rouser says:

        I found a link

I also found the picture dis tubing with newborns careless swaddled in over sized blankets.

    • Adgirl says:

My daughter was roofied and it is no joke. It makes you terribly sick for days.

Andy is rather strange in his smirking hostility to social groups he feel superior to. How about his nasty remark about the children’s choir at the Oscars?

There is a heavy dose of misogyny on Bravo. I think it comes from Andy.

      • Rabble Rouser says:

        OMG- how horrible.

It’s so sad there are so many sick minds out there. I know that a few clubs have changed their policy about for females and now tolerate allowing them to bring the bathrooms with them so they are not left unattended.

        • quincyil says:

I wish I could email Andy. This would be a great campaign for those women from OC.

          • Rabble Rouser says:

I’ll email him. Is there an email posted for him.

I will be sure to share a response if he replies.

    • lovemamaearth says:

I agree. Yucky. Now some idiots will probably try to break that record…

& none of my biz, but each show having its own title/chapter would be helpful imo & easier to stay on topic.

      • Rabble Rouser says:

I think that wiki-pedia says there is a 17 year old Nigerian girl who is a GM.

  14. WindyCityWondering says:

Thank you Lynn and Quincy for the recaps – they go so well with my morning coffee.
Loved Bethenny on WWHL – Andy needs to have more guests who don’t shy away from questions or act “coy and seductive” and refuse to answer questions. It was so obvious that B has moved on from RHNY and the Jill Zarin connection. Bethenny took the high road and gave Jill every opportunity to just drop it – but as long as Jill feels the need to drag their pseudo friendship up she will continue to look like the tacky, mean and petty person we all see her to be! And I have to agree that when Andy likes a guest he is more into a dialog than his zipping through the show that is so annoying to me.

  15. Sha2000 says:

Here’s why people shouldn’t never buy homes they can’t afford to maintain:

    • quincyil says:

I read the book and saw that movie. Wooden houses like that have a lifespan. There were a lot of them in Lake County, IL built about the same time as this house and they are almost all gone now. When I was young in the 50’s, I remember going in those homes with huge summer porches and wondering about the chandeliers. I remember on refrigerator was actually a converted ice box.

$5,0000 a day for taxes is outrageous.

      • Sha2000 says:

While they do have a lifespan, it seems the previous owner had it in mint condition, the new owner only has it a few years & let it fall into decay. Taxes are reveled before purchasing, my point is it looks like he bit off more than he could chew.

Loved the book & watch the movie 100’s of times. If my daughter was a boy I wanted to name her Jay : )

        • Rabble Rouser says:

I suspect that was his plan all along (to let it run down, so he could parcel the land off and develop more homes).

I can’t imagine a well maintained house deteriorating that quickly.

          • quincyil says:

I do know something about construction from that era. The foundations in IL failed. You can keep the house in good condition, but the cement that they used back had a different formula than the cement/ mortar that is used today. In IL, it was the foundations that failed over time.

It’s possbile to raise a house and put in a new foundation, but the costs would be prohibitive.

The video was from that 70s. A lot can happen in almost 40 years.

            • Rabble Rouser says:

I thought they have video from 2002 where the previous owner was giving a tour and showing off the wallpaper in the dining room.

              • HD says:

They did and the home looked beautiful when the previous owner was in it showing off the handpainted wall paper.

                • Sha2000 says:

I just saw a wonderful show on the WH on Cspan ; apparently long ago they gutted the inside & foundation too. Btw. there are lots of beautiful old homes on LI that still exist…never heard of foundation problems there, I’m sure it happens but it’s not prevalent. My Aunt use to have a very large home in Sea Cliff NY it was well over 100 yrs old & it was in perfect condition, because they care for it. I think this guy saw a piece of land not a piece of history.

                  • quincyil says:

When President Truman was in officed his daughter’s grand piano fell through floor of the White House so they had to start renovation.

        • Mimisfbay says:

          Did you name her Daisy?

    • alicia says:

The video shows the former owner in 2002 and the dining room looks pristine.
I think the new owner hit hard times and let it rot. When I was in my 20’s we bought a wooden colonial on flagler drive in WPB. I could see Mar a lago from my bedroom window across the intracoastal. We gave up our dream of restoring it and adding on because the city deemed it historic and would not let us modify. We loved that house and had the best parties…

      • Sha2000 says:

        Sounds beautiful Alicia.

      • quincyil says:

I looked at some online articles. He bought it on 2004 for 17 million and tried to sell it on 2006 for 30 million. He said he was going to renovate, but his family did not want to move to that house.

There was a house on our Maine St. (They named it after the state. Our founding fathers had a sense of humor) that was redecorated and looked great after spending hundreds of thousands of dollars and hiring big city decorators. The roof leaked. The electrical wiring was out dated.

I actually looked at several old mansions over the years, but the costs to renovated were high and you could never sell the house for the money that you would have to put into it.

People who save these houses are saints.

        • Sha2000 says:

There’s a small one on Hwy 50 east going towards Orlando, FL. It looks like it may have been an old plantation home, very southern looking just beautiful, white, with huge columns . A few years back it literally looked haunted, each time I drove by it gets better, about two months back and I saw a woman giving it a fresh coat of white paint. Time, patience, money & elbow grease. Yes they are saints.

  16. Adgirl says:

NeNe quits during Celebrity Apprentice? Wow. That is shameful. Trump hates quiters. The ONLY reason people “quit” is when They Can’t Stand the Heat!

NeNe is going to be waaay in over her head as far as business and leadership. She can’t just go Banshee Bitsh Gonna Pluck Your Eyes Out when she feels weak.

For those of us that have been disgusted with NeNe’s bullying, I think we will see her humiliated by her teammates. That’s why she runs away.

    • Rabble Rouser says:

I can just see NeNe… “I’m not fired because I quit! BAM- Take that DT” as she ‘bloop, bloop, bloop’s’ her ass out the door.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

NeNe as we have gotten to know her on RHoA was an odd choice for CA. She has no business skills and little education, she does not play well with others and being a team player is not a concept she understands. It is about ratings but she isn’t the only one who brings ratings on RHoA. IMO, Bethenny’s stint on SWTS opened the door to NBC/Bravo talent crossovers and NeNe slammed it shut!

      • Adgirl says:

NeNe & Hatch are there to be nasty. Both are scorched earth types.

When NeNe figures out her mouth isn’t enough to cover her ignorance she runs away.
Err … quits because she hates the drama. LOL.

Nene is on this show for drama and that is all. Trump knows that drama sells. I think it stinks but he is right Nene will bring ratings before she bombs on the challenges.

Tonight Top Chef goes to the Bahamas with five chefs. I don’t like meat, but I loved the chefs and the judges so I am now going to watch it. Lynn is going to blog on it…. She likes meat.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Looking forward to the location and it will be interesting to see them go up against their individual season winners. But its getting to the point where I don’t care who wins as my favs are gone. Hoping Mikey goes tonight….and I really think it is the year of the female top chef.

    • Adgirl says:

Last week’s Top Chef was one of their best epi’s ever. Usually the show isn’t as intimate and emotional as that one was. I came away thinking differently about some of the contestants.
Richard is an arrogant ass this year, but I read that his new restaurant Flip failed after only 6 months. He stated his wife is an athlete and more competitive than he is. Maybe he’s feeling a little desperate?
Mike, I have never thought highly of him or his skills. However his quick embracement of Antonia as his cousin, and his emotional comments about his grandmother makes me believe he always craved a larger family. I found him really cute last week.
Tiffany was sweet last week. She hasn’t collapsed from exhaustion like Angelo did 2 weeks ago and she has been cooking for 2 back to back seasons just like he did. Maybe because she didn’t make it to finals in DC she had a breather. She really has stamina.

I can never get enough of Carla!! Hootie Hoo! How darling is her husband??

Antonia is pretty entertaining, but I find her a little stand-offish.

I would like to see either Antonia of Carla win, no one who cooks old style food “with love” has won TC yet.

    • Nancy says:

If you don’t mind me asking what did you do with your Micro degree?

  18. VAgirl says:

Hi, everyone. It’s a balmy 62 deg. here in VA and my flowering plum tree is full of buds ready to explode. So ready for Spring. Thanks for the recaps Lynn and Quincy! Only watched parts of MDL. Josh F. is so quirky and fun to watch. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED Bethanny on WWHL. She has the best of all worlds right now and I wish her the best. She is one smart “Cookie.” LOL!

    • quincyil says:

Josh is a showman. Did you see the little aside about his grandmother. I was researching the show the other day and I noticed that his grandmother brought polyester to America from Europe. If she has some kind of patent on polyester that would mean she has a lot of money. He said that his family had commercial property in West Hollywood too. I suspect our Josh F does not have to work at all.

I’ll look to see if his book is available. Maybe, there is a review.

  19. Rhetorica says:

Did anyone notice on the previews of BEA a house on the beach? I swear it’s one Madison showed on MDL! Could that be another crossover show OR are they moving to CA?

    • quincyil says:

I have those houses memorized. I will go to the BEA to look and see if it is the same.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

I thought the same thing when I saw the house on the preview – but then they are jumping a fence at a house of a very different style. Maybe Bravo interchanges it’s B fillers?

      • quincyil says:

My dvr didn’t have that at the end of the show.

BTW… there are preview videos of Bethenny and Nic and it’s not a perfect match…. bravotv.com

        • HD says:

It looks like Bethanny is going to work with him to do a food blog once a month. That’s a cute idea for him. I don’t think he has to eat meat in order to do this job because he can just write about the things that he knows about.

I think it will just take a minute for them to get a feel for one another.

  20. Laura says:

    >>To address the recent rumors that both Salahis are filming on the set of Celebrity Rehab: Part of this story is inaccurate. As you can imagine, everyone has a different journey that one goes through in life. Television Star, Michaele Salahi has a very compelling story and while we are unable to discuss any Television Shows/projects in development, we can confirm that whatever new show she is participating in, it will be a focus for her on the private pains and personal struggles she endured that resulted from the White House issues, Congress and how these life changing events affected her Multiple Sclerosis. Michaele Salahi is consulting with Dr. Drew and she hopes he will be able to assist her about everything she has endured over the last year. Most human beings couldn’t imagine the personal pain that Michaele has suffered, and soon the American public will learn more about what no one has been able to see so far on the Television Screen. In regards to Mr. Tareq Salahi being part of this project underway, that is inaccurate at this time of the release.>>

    • Adgirl says:

“Most human beings couldn’t imagine the personal pain that Michaele has suffered, …”

I am going to throw up.

I hate grifters. The Salahi’s are first rate assho;es who have bilked hundreds of good people out of money and ruined several small businesses by ripping them off.

      • WindyCityWondering says:

It has to be extremely painful to be outed on national tv as a liar, grifter, gate crasher, codependent con artist, poor excuse for a human being. The pain would come from acknowledging what you are and what you have done as wrong! And that hasn’t happened, so I’m just not seeing the pain and stress angle. Those two need to go away!

        • Adgirl says:

I know people just like them.

The “stress” is really outrage when their lies are challenged.

          My parents had a saying:
“How DARE you accuse me of doing what I have done!”

      • Nancy says:

They should go to dinner with Taylor & Rusell Armstrong.

    • kbinldo says:

  21. Pinda says:

“Laura” what planet are you from? This woman is a fraud and a national disgrace!

    • Rabble Rouser says:

I don’t think that was “Laura’s” opinion rather than her just being the messenger- and pasting info from the link.

    • quincyil says:

I think that is Michael’s facebook information.

      • Pinda says:

anytime this woman is mentioned I see red. What a waste of skin. Her and her nasty husband will do anything to extend their 15 minutes. Seriously, what they did at the Whitehouse was disgusting and should have landed them in a jail cell.

        • quincyil says:

I have a cat that my kids swear is an alien. Why this should matter to you, I’m just not sure lol..she sits and stares at the ceiling (they think she’s looking for her mother ship) she has an extraordinary ability to move objects that a cat just shouldn’t be able to move….

              • OneMoreInBoston says:

Laura??? This is absolutely hilarious! You are 2 funnee! My cats do that too- I never even thought they were waiting for the mothership.

Ahhh…it all makes perfect sense now!

                • Laura says:

Isn’t it the weirdest thing ever? This cats name is Sassy (her sisters name is Sissy; ) and she’ll come running full steam down the hallway…stop right in the middle of the living room and then just stare at the ceiling…nothing breaking her concentration! Its hysterical really. She will drag stuffed animals around that are twice or three times her size and its rolling on the floor, holding your tummy funny watching her waddle-walk these things all over the place. Both of them drive me bonkers, but they are really entertaining!

  22. Pinda says:

The Salahi get my blood boiling! They should both be in a Federal prison for crashing the Whitehouse event. I’m a Veteran as is my husband. What these two did was disgusting! They should be behind bars, not on TV. I’ve written my Senator several times asking why these two haven’t been charged with a federal crime. They are both a national disgrace!

  23. NYCer says:

    Re: Top Chef
I love Carla and Richard too—and Tiffany. I’m concerned that neither Richard nor Tiffany wins (which leaves the dreaded Antonia and Mike) because they’ve been campaigning a little for Fan Favorite on twitter. I’m not sure the overall winner would take the time or feel the need to go for fan fave. Plus, Tom really seems to looooooove Antonia.

  24. Rabble Rouser says:

On TMZ there is a story about the AI contestants moving into a BH mega Mansion. It’s the first mansion that Josh A took his client to. I guess the owners really need to unload it- I wonder how much they are leasing it for.

Lynn & Quincy, Great recaps. Thanks. Does anyone know what happen to the guy that was on ML last year. I can’t think of his name but I liked him on the show. When I have more time I’ll Google and try and find his name.

    Luv’d watching B on WWHL.

    • quincyil says:

Chad…. I don’t know if he got fired or quit. I did google several times.

    • JKW says:

Chad Rogers. They said he quit because of his bad delivery of lines and stilted conversations. Maybe he needed to spend more time on that stupid hair-do

      • Sha2000 says:

I just call him bangs. He’s still working just not on the show & he’s in the same RE Agency as Kyles husband I think:

        • quincyil says:

Really…. Josh Altman is from that agency too.

          • quincyil says:

Madison lives in a rented house on the water iMalibu. He pays $5,000 a month. Josh A lives in the Hollywood Hills and the house is not a mansion. I does have a nice kitchen.

Josh Flagg lives in the building where his grandmother has the penthouse.

Of the three, Madison seems to have the least money. He actually is a part of Coldwell Banker. I saw the name on his office. That is a franchise. The houses in Malibu aren’t cheap by any means, but Josh A and Josh F seem to look down on Malibu.

Chad Rodgers had that small apartment.

On the show, it looks like they have these large commissions, but they don’t have Mauricio Umansky’s money.

            • Sha2000 says:

MU is older & may be in the business longer…besides that, I never thought they were wealthy just maybe doing well..I Even his wife said they weren’t rich in the reunion. Who know’s?? Who cares? ! LOL!! I guess that agency is owned by his brother in law judging from the name.

              • quincyil says:

Yes, it’s owned by Kathy Hilton’s husband. I saw Mauricio’s dad was working there along with 91 agents.

  26. boston02127 says:

I can’t believe Nene quit. I try so hard to like her, she is funny at times. I use to like her a lot but she keeps disappointing.

  27. OneMoreInBoston says:

wow- I’m watching Charlie Sheen’s nonsense-and he sounds JUST LIKE Kelly!
Like her evil (er), male(er) twin.

  28. PJ says:

Did anyone see Kyle’s commercial? I fast forwarded through it so I’m not even sure what it was for. Whatever she is selling I won’t be buying!

    • California35 says:

It was the closet comercial – I think…I also fast forward because I had seen it before.

      • Nancy says:

        Blue Fly.

        • Adgirl says:

          It’s like Bethenny’s Bluefly ad.
Kyle shows us stuff in her closet and she says why she likes it or where she wore it. The top from the reunion she says she will never wear again (because she hated the reunion).

  29. California35 says:

    Hi everyone….
Lynn and Quincy – Thanks for the recaps. I totaly forgot that MDL was moved to Tuesday, and I don’t even know if it got recorded. I skiped the recap for now.
Lynn – loved the recap on WWHL and the show too. Yes I know my favorie girl was there, but not only for that reason. It was because it was a good show, they seem to enjoy each other and like they “get” each other. He did have to kind of stop her or cut her off, but he did have to keep going with the program lol

  30. NYCer says:

Oooooo– I may have missed this in a previous blog/comment, but it’s going to be super interesting that both Jill and Bethenny have a shapewear line at the same time. This makes me think that Jill will never stop “going after” Bethenny because they’ll have competing lines. I didn’t realize the skinnygirl brand was extending beyond drinks until the WWHL after show.

    • quincyil says:

There is a company in Brooklyn called, “Skinnygirl Cocktails, LLC.” I was doing some research and found it. I think this is Bethenny’s company.

    • Nancy says:

Let Jill trash Bethenny. I hope she does as it will only help Bethenny. Jill is so STUPID. Why doesn’t she “get this”? Could she really be this stupid?
I don’t think so I think her basic personality over rides her intelligence.
Keep it up Jill. We are rutting for you!

    • kbinldo says:

Jill will never stop because the only reason people still know about her is because of Bethenny.

  31. quincyil says:

I watched the bravotv.com preview for this season of RHNYC several times. I think Ramona must be really upset to be hysterically crying on a bed like that. She was sobbing and her whole body was involved. It was shortly after Jill Zarin was yelling at Ramona and saying, “Until you say you are sorry, you can never be my friend.” Why would Jill say that to Ramona?

Cindy Barstop does not like the pecking order. That’s because Jill and probably the Countess put her at the very bottom. Sonja looks combative too. I prefer reasonable people dealing reasonably, but that’s not the drama that Bravo promises.

Jill is as “catty” as usual commenting on Ramona and Alex wearing ivory to a wedding. I went to a wedding in California last Sept and several people from Texas had ivory on. They must not have gotten the Jill Zarin rule book on colors to wear to weddings.

Alex caught Jill in a manipulation, but Jill didn’t admit to what she was doing again.

Alex and Kelly have a discusssion. Kelly is lolly pops and rainbows.

All in all…. interesting. I think that the season could be ok.

I miss the nice Alex and wish she could just deal with the ladies by laughing their criticism off. We would understand her and laugh with her.

    • Adgirl says:

What’s the deal between Sonja and Alex? That bothered me because I like them both.
The entire preview was upsetting. I did not like watching Ramona cry on the bed. It reminded me of KKB.

I love Ramona for some reason. I think she’s pretty up front with us, kind of like Bethenny but not as funny. She does cause trouble but I never think she does it on purpose to hurt people.

      • quincyil says:

I think Sonja was under stress with the dui in the summer and the bankruptcy. Add bickering women and you have off the cuff remarks that blow up in your face.

Alex was moving toward confrontation at the reuinion. I think it’s a mistake to fight with these women. Wait and slam them behind their backs. LOL.

Ramona is 55. Life time changes….

        Been there…done that.

    • California35 says:

I missed the priview 😦 Last night the only thing I watched from Bravo were BEA and WWHL from my DVR. One from Monday and the other from last night, and I didn’t see that comercial. I will try to watch Bravo tonigh, or go on line to see it. I am curious now 😛

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Awhile back popeater said that Ramona and LuAnn will have dueling Sweet Sixteen Parties – that won’t be pretty! The thug is a cocktail dress was attributed to LuAnn – so I can see Ramona crying.

      • NYCer says:

There was something written about Ramona retweeting (maybe accidentally?) the video of LuAnn’s daughter using derogatory language and rolling a joint that was going around the internet while they were filming. I think Jill got involved in that so maybe that’s what the cying/apology/fight is about-?

        • quincyil says:

I think the crying was in Morocco… That was around Nov. 17. The tweet thing happened in Dec when Luann and Jill were in Atlantic City. I only know this because I researched the time line for our IHJZ 4th Season.

          • Adgirl says:

Did Ramona receive a personalized Skweez gift bag at her hotel in Morocco?
That would have made me cry too.

    • Rabble Rouser says:

Jill Zarin was yelling at Ramona and saying, “Until you say you are sorry, you can never be my friend.” Why would Jill say that to Ramona?

Probably any number of small offenses could have prompted that reaction from Jill sneezing and Ramona not saying bless you in time to not offering Jill her last Rolo (candy).

Unless of course it’s about Ramona allegedly slapping a PA for the show.

    • Nancy says:

What REALLY bothered me about the promo was this…
Ramona & Sonia (I think) were in an elevator talking about Ramona possibly being pregnant then 20 seconds later we see her totally drunk!!!

Someone needs to tell Jill to quit swearing on the show it just makes her look more classless.

  32. error404 says:

I confused about why Cosmo is a “jackhole”. They story I read was about two dogs whom licked their owners toes until they came off because they were diseased and he had no feeling in them. I remember the story because they were Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, and my Isabelle does like to lick and might even lick for hours if I let her, which I don’t! lol So…. were there really two well read stories about dogs and toes in the same week? Or has either Andy or I gotten his facts wrong? I guess I’m just not drunk enough to “get” Andy Cohen, but a creepy pedifile church man is obsession worthy, but a dog being a dog is cringe worthy? Sorry, he’s just too weird for me.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

There was a story this week about a man who has diabetes – his dog licked his toe off while he was sleeping. Why a jackhole shoutout? No clue – Andy either hits it out of the park or its a total swing and a miss. lol Andy is getting harder and harder to watch and/or listen to and if the guest isn’t good then it is a wasted half hour.

Other than getting Anderson’s Cooper’s approval season 1 and then starting a series of fights on RHOA, what has she really accomplished? Her book flopped. Her interviewing skills are no better than Kim Z’s singing. At least Kim is campy enough for people to have fun with her songs.

NeNe quiting CA tells me she knew she was floundering and couldn’t get any donations.
She will be forced to stay on RHOA for an income. I don’t think that she has figured out how to capitize on her fame and time is running out.

  36. Adgirl says:

    From Stoopidhousewives:

“While answering a question about whether Tamra and Mike Judge will marry, Gretchen is in the background telling Tamra not to do it…get married, that is. What a hypocrite! Reliable word is that the highlight to her storyline this season is Gretchen and Slade Slimey get engaged. So, apparently, that engagement isn’t working out that well… good! (Even though they both deserve each other.)”

That sounds more like Gretchen saying “Tamra, don’t get engaged- that’s MY storyline this year bitch!”

I feel punked.

“The White House affected my health” HA!

This is my intended email to Andy Cohen, but I don’t know where to sent it-can anyone help me?

Or any feed back on the email before it is sent is also welcome.

    Dear Andy,

I am writing to you to express some of my concerns and disappointment over some comments you made on recent episodes of on episodes of WWHL.

Whether, you were aware of it or not they came across as very caviler, inappropriate and arguably misogynist.

Two women under your employment were ‘drugged’ by powerful and potentially deadly narcotic called Rohypnol (aka “Roofies”) which could have lead to even more devastating criminal acts once these women were rendered helpless. To see you joke and make light of the situation by asking the victims of a crime something to the extent of ‘Do you have any more/left’ (of the drug) was absolutely reprehensible. Perhaps the circles you travel in, recreational drug use is the ‘norm’ but this was not the case, these women were drugged against their will.

There was nothing humorious that could have been extracted from such a terrible crime and assault, to see your pathetic attempts to do so was offensive on so many levels.

This could have been an opportunity to bring to light some of the dangers women face and how they could help fend themselves against these types of actions. If I am not mistaken, the women were in NYC in the capacity of “Real Housewifes” (to promote the show) , as their employer, you could have taken steps from a risk management perspective and helped HR develop a policy and guild lines on how to deal with issues such as this.

Then on the most recent installment of WWHL, you saw fit to honor what could only be described as CHILD rape and pregnancy, that furthered even more CHILD sexual exploitation, abuse and pregnancy with the MAZEL of the week.Really?

Obviously, you will never have a wife but you are a SON- and if I am from what I can recollect, a brother and Uncle to females (young and old).

Is this how you would want them to be treated? Are those actions acceptable enough to you that you have no reservations about speaking about them in jest?

Would your humor be as off handed if you were discussing gay victims of homophobic thugs? If you were discussing Jewish people being the victims of anti-Semites?

You owe the women of Bravo and your viewers a public apology. Unfortunately, if one is not forthcoming not only will I no longer watch your show, I will actively encourage others to boycott is as well.

I hope that in the future, you weigh your words and actions more carefully and thoughtfully.

It’s a good thing I posted it here, I already caught a couple of mistakes.

Good for you. I think you’re right about everything you’ve written.

Unfortunately, Andy rarely takes responsibility for his words. I guess being a Bravo executive means you never have to say you’re sorry.

            • Rabble Rouser says:

              LOL- thanks.

You folks are rock stars. I appreciate the help 🙂

              • HD says:

If you have not sent this already I would remove the part about him not ever having a wife. Sometimes people won’t really pay attention to something if something personal like that is brought up. I am not sure how to say it but I hope you know what I mean. The sentence would sound find just mentioning that he is an uncle to young women, etc.

                • rabblerouser says:

I get what you mean, I think what I was trying to convay is that I understnad he would have the same instinct to ‘protect’ a woman in the manner a husband would fight for his wife but that there has to be some women inn his life worth defending.

Can anyone help me. Phrase it better?

                  • Sha2000 says:

Rabble you said it above…say… There was nothing amusing about these women being victims of a potentially dangerous crime, it was offensive to joke about it.

And I’d leave it at that. As I said before I really do think he seems to be genuine and anise guy, I see your point but not the point to insult him.

Wow- if you are really interested in feedback I would say “chill”- this is way over the top- can Andy please make a few jokes? WWHL is a light hearted show on late night cable. The standard you are holding him to is much higher than all existing talk show hosts.
But if that is how you really feel, go for it, I guess.

    • OneMoreInBoston says:

I don’t know…I see what you’re saying but many a truth is spoken in jest.

Andy just has a track record of minimizing and trivializing women. If it was just ONE comment on ONE show- I’d day…meh…no big deal. But it seems like lately it’s almost EVERY comment on EVERY show.

    • Rabble Rouser says:

The whole point is that THOSE jokes were completely inappropriate and that it seems like he finds humor in situations where women are the victims of CRIME.

People complain about things they see all the time and it helps set the boundaries and standards that helps them to draw the line. Maybe all the Makers Mark has given Andy double or triple vision so he can’t tell where it is.

Believe me, I get candor is part of the fabric of the show which is why I think Andy would benefit for specific feed back on how and why he is starting to alienate a large group of his audience- not to mention the backlash from his last slip of the tongue (re the comments about the kids at the AA)

But I thank you for your honest opinion and appreciate your feedback.

      • Sha2000 says:

Hi Rabble I think you are great but I agree w/NYCer, I think a lighter touch is needed if you really feel that you need to send this note. I’d remove any personal references to him; you really said it best just above:

“The whole point is that THOSE jokes were completely inappropriate and that it seems like he finds humor in situations where women are the victims of CRIME.”

My suggestion is that you say you thought those jokes inappropriate, and empathy should have been in place of the jokes. I really do think Andy is a nice guy & I’m sure he mean’s no malice towards anyone.

      • HD says:

People write in to shows all the time with feedback. Andy is no exception to the rule. That is the nature of the beast when you are in any public position.

        • Sha2000 says:

True, I just think the message is getting lost among some other comments that were in there. Straight to the point & simple is better, in my opinion.

          • HD says:

Hey Sha. I was responding the original post but I hear what you are saying as well and you are correct. So funny you said that because I basically just said the same thing in my response to the letter. I just did not know how to say it. LOL! You know how someone can say allllllll the right things and have great points and then they say one thing that a person can find offensive and the great points they were making go right out the window. I think as soon as Andy sees the never have a wife line he would be like whatever ignoring the points that Rabble made. JMO. No one slay me. Thanks!

@2Stupid — I read that you are giving up soda. I gave up soda (tonic) in February. I could drink anywhere from 4 to 10 cans of diet Ginger Ale a day without eating. Now I’m drinking water. I don’t mind water but sometimes I get tired of it. I tried Crystal Light and it’s really good. I buy the little packs you can put in your water bottle. The market where I buy them also sells their own brand name and they cost less and are just as good.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

@ Boston – you can also change up you water with slices of cucumber. In the summer I make ice cubes with lemon/lime juice.

      • OneMoreInBoston says:

        I tirtsee now

      • HD says:

I have seen people put cumcumber in water. Does that taste good?

        • kmuellfa says:

YES! It is totally refreshing. There is a restaurant in northern CA that I used to visit when in wine country. They had these HUGE glass jugs of water with lemon, lime, orange, and cucumber slices. My ex took the idea to his restaurants but he would just use sliced cucumber. It was really good.

        • Sha2000 says:

HD if you live near a super Target, they sell water with cucumber (under their Archer Farms label), it’s okay, they sell all sorts of flavors not just cucumber. Health foods store also sell infused waters. I’m heading to the fridge for some ice cold coconut water, that I got at Target today, it’s called Zico and it is better than others I’ve tasted, this is like drinking it fresh from a coconut. Yummy stuff.

      • boston02127 says:

WCW—I’ve never heard of that but it sounds good. Do you peel the cuke? How many slices would you put in a glass of water? Do you use the lemon/lime cubes in the cuke drink?

    • klmh says:

I have also had a mix of strawberries, kiwi, pieces of lemon and I think some mint leaves in ice water. We were at a hotel that offered it when you were in the lobby. It was served in a lovely crystal pitcher with ice. It was as good as it was beautiful!

      • Sha2000 says:

Sounds pretty. You can also use edible flowers like roses but you need to make sure you’ve grown them and they haven’t been sprayed or fed anything harmful to humans.

Here’s more on the Salamis from Dlisted.
Michaele’s slimy shit ball of a husband, Tareq Salahi, says his wife never told producers she had an addiction and only went on Celebrity Rehab so that Dr. Drew could treat the Multiple Sclerosis disease she claims she suffers from

The high they get from regular party crashing isn’t enough anymore so they try to get away with bigger things, like crashing rehab…on national TV.
I mean when you think about it, an addiction is really sort of the addict’s “invitation” to rehab.
    No addiction, no “invite”.

OT-Les Miserables is on TV! I wonder if Cedric got a role in this musical since they based the play on his life? I am cracking up. I can’t remember who said that on this blog but I still find it funny!

(A Jonas brother is in Les Miserables..really? No one else on Broadway could star in this musical?)

The report I quoted upthread about Kandi looks to have been a mistaken identity.

    • Sha2000 says:

Left you a reply up thread…the local news that reported it says it’s her bf/AJ’s daughter.

      • klmh says:

Thats what was first written, but Stoopid mentioned this was a mistake. I have no idea…
Im wondering if she meant the child was Jewel’s and not hers? Maybe.

      • klmh says:

        This is her quote:

Someone mistakenly reported that the teen involved in this terrible incident was Kandi’s daughter…

She probably meant the mistake was that the child was her fiance’s, not hers. Most know she has only one daughter who is about 9 or 10 now, but Im sure she was close to this child as well. Might find out more tomorrow…

    @Rabble Rouser
Those are excellent questions. Ultimately, nobody knows if Charlie Sheen’s done permanent damage to those synapses. Time will tell.
IF you eliminate the drugs, enter recovery & adopt a healthier lifestyle (food, exercise, etc), the brain WILL heal. It may take months, but you’re restored toward sanity.
However, sometimes people never fully recover. The drugs that tend to permanently damage the brain the most are alcohol & methamphetamine; heroin, benzos (Valium, Xanax, etc) & marijuana do less permanent damage, & cocaine is somewhat intermediate. Length of drug use & quantities are obviously very important.
In my PERSONAL experience, as a VERY rough rule, most people who quit using drugs & alcohol before age 40 tend to recover most of their neurological functioning, but people who quit after age 50 often don’t recover all their functioning. Obviously there are lots of exceptions, but if we apply that rule, Charlie may be literally teetering on the brink, half way between potentially full recovery & permanent damage.
The syphilis question is a lot less likely, because today it’s relatively easy to detect with blood tests & fully curable with antibiotics, & you have to ignore it for years, even decades, to do a lot of damage. So unless he hasn’t seen a doctor or had blood tests for many, many years, or refused treatment along the way, he doesn’t have syphilitic brain damage.

    • Adgirl says:

The Sheen Circus is so sad.

I had to do an intervention on my ex (for meth). He was acting very strange and psychotic. It was very scary. Fortunately that disappeared when he sobered up.

In Charlie’s case he has used so much for so long I wonder about the mental issues brought on by suddenly quiting powerful drugs. I’d be interested to know how he acts in a few months when his brain has recalibrated.

Anyone a Survivor fan ? Tonight was great. The little troll was sent home for good !

  53. JKW says:

Oh God, I was jumping around, waving my arms and cheering. It was great to see him go and then lose again on the island. He was even more of an ass this time then the other 2. I hope they never bring him back again.

    • Adgirl says:

Is Rob still on? I don’t usually watch Suvivor, but I liked him from The Amazing Race so I watched the Villians Suvivor until he was ejected.

  54. JKW says:

Yea Rob is still on the other team. He pretty much has them in line. He tells them exactly what to do and they do it…so far. There were 2 very savvy ladies that were going to cause him problems. He had one out first and the other went this wk.

  55. JKW says:

It’s pretty good this season. Some of the other players are smart and know how to play the game. Watch from the beginning….you have to see Phillip. The weirdest guy you ever saw. He is crazy.

    • Adgirl says:

Now I’m intrigued. I have resisted Suv because my husband dislikes it but I think I will sneak a couple epis in to catch up.

  56. lillybee says:

On top chef, my Carla was sent home.

    • HD says:

I really liked Carla’s personality but she was just not consistent and that made me so upset. She would do horrible in the quick fire and then cook a great dish for the main challenge. And she always knew her mistakes but I always feel like saying then stop making them! Too much batter, not enough seasoning, etc, which all seemed like basic mistakes that she should have been beyond.

I really wanted her to win. Now that she is gone I am blahhhhhhhhh. I will keep watching because now I am sucked in. Tiffany will go home because she is not consistent. After that its a toss up with Antonia, Rich and Mike. Rich is a little cocky but I like that in challenges. Mike is cut throat. Antonia may be the dark horse.

Was this Brad G? Interesting. Thank you for this information.

Funny how her personality is so transparent – maybe by saying it was a tv friendship only is her way of justifying how badly she treated Bethenny.

Fans of Big Brother – did you hear that Rachel and Brendon are getting married? Apparently he took webcam pics of his….manhood…sent them to another woman…Rachel freaked out (as she should)…he publicly cried and apologized…and then proposed on Valentines Day….Ugh and Ewwww! They were so disgusting together but I guess their love lasted…

Survivor Fans – I was stunned when Russell lost the duel and went home with his tail between his legs. LOVED him when he was on the first time, the second time – he was harder to like and this time..well, he just didn’t have a chance, they were gunning for him from the get go……Found some interesting info about him that he apparently was leaking information since his first season to a blogger who was being sued by CBS but they dropped the lawsuit, on the condition that the blogger reveal his source. He did, and claims it was Russell…who of course, denies leaking any info….
