I Hate Jill Zarin The Real Housewives of New York – Season Four
In our continuing story, Quincy picks up with the New York Housewives still in Morocco filming Season Four of the Real Housewives….Based on a true story…
Game, Set, Match
In Morocco, Ramona, Sonja and Alex had spent the late afternoon hours in their private rooftop pool of the King’s hotel, drinking cocktails and discussing the day’s events. Cindy had stopped by for a while, but she was did not want to be dragged into the battle of the blonds vs. the brunettes. She saw herself as a peacemaker although the rest of the cast and crew saw her as a whining, moaning complainer. Cindy felt that her early attempts to bring humor into the discussion had fallen flat when Ramona and Jill had gone down memory lane and discussed the last trip to St John. Jill would never forgive Ramona who she felt had given her the ultimate insult to be sent away. Jill felt that she was invited and she would never understand Ramona’s concern for Bethenny’s health and wellbeing or Alex’s distress at seeing Jill appear unexpectedly.
During a candlelit dinner, Jill Zarin began to taunt Ramona with her own special brand of humor. Jill said, “Ramona has to have her Pinot Grigio the moment she walks into my home. “ Jill continued to share moments where Ramona had been “outrageous” and she used Pinot Grigio in every story. Ramona was in a haze, but she knew that Jill Zarin was on the attack. Her attempts to put Jill Zarin in her place had not been successful. Ramona wanted Jill to understand that she needed to apologize to Alex, Sonja and herself as Jill’s accusations of them bullying Kelly had been picked up in the online press after anonymous leaks. Kelly too was beginning to listen to Jill and was making comments that reflected her vision of the Universe. Alex and Kelly were never on the same wavelength, but Alex was again listening to Kelly’s comments and quietly trying to tell everyone that something was very wrong here.
Jill and Kelly had become friends over the past two years. Jill convinced herself that there was nothing wrong with Kelly and she was determined to convince everyone else that Kelly is completely fine. Kelly had become Jill’s sounding board. Kelly would turn Jill down to a two most days, but when Jill discussed Bethenny’s offenses, Kelly would turn Jill up to a ten and would record Jill’s wisdom in her distorted brain for future playback. As Jill rattled off Alex’s list of offenses, Kelly’s brain was registering the litany of Alex offenses with the flare of dramatic effects only found in the mind of a Kelly Bensimon. In Kelly’s mind she saw white Kabuki faces and Satan’s glare, too much dark heavy eye makeup and Johan faces. Scary Island had been played back in Kelly’s nightmares on many nights. Jill had cut off Kelly’s alcohol supply earlier in the day. There was no way Kelly would be sent home from Morocco when Jill was in charge of the adventure. Kelly was not eating and that was a problem.
Jill ordered the butler to find some candy for Kelly but she found a supply in Kelly’s suitcase, Jelly Beans and Lolly pops littered the bottom of the case as if they’d been there for months. At least, Kelly would have some calories.
Jill was in charge and it was her game to win. She was sober as always and she had the upper hand. This was the dramatic dinner she had planned. Jill would clear the air and right all of the injustices that had been done to her in Season Three. Jill had no intention of jumping under the bus for them in this new season. She would throw Ramona under the bus as she had done in Season One and Season Two. Amazingly, Jill had not planned on attacking Alex. The four member Jill Zarin PR team had felt this would not be in Jill’s interest, as the crimes of Alex McCord had never been filmed.
Alex and Simon had done things to Jill and Jill knew what they were. The Employer had his suspicions, but Jill was not going to help anyone that she considered an enemy so she would not give them any publicity. As you know, any publicity is good publicity. That is Kelly Bensimon PR 102 lesson. Jill had listened to Kelly and watched Kelly deflect bad publicity with her umbrella of words like “break through” and “Authentic”.
Ramona finally stood up and stumbled as she walked over to the head of the table where Jill Zarin sat. Ramona wanted to talk to Jill quietly, but in her haze she was unable to convey those intentions. Ramona knew that Jill could never stay angry with her for long, but Jill’s horrible memory couldn’t wipe away the vision of Ramona telling three million people at last year’s reunion that she had called Ramona and asked her not to film with Bethenny. It was bad enough that Ramona threw her out of the villa on St. John but how could Ramona tell the world about that phone call? As Jill watched Ramona stumble toward her, she ran away sobbing.
Alex and Sonja knew that in Ramona’s drunken state things could only get worse between Jill and Ramona and so they helped Ramona to her room. After they left, Jill went in to confront Ramona. There were biting words from each woman. Jill said, “You have to tell me that you are sorry or we can never be friends.” Ramona was not sorry for any of the decisions that she had made on St John, she was glad she told The Employer about Jill’s demand that she not film with Bethenny and had no regrets about what happened at Jill’s party at the beginning of the season.
Ramona was not sorry for going to Bethenny’s wedding or appearing on Bethenny’s television show. Jill wanted them all to boycott Bethenny’s show, refuse to film with her and let her fail because she had no support from the New York Housewives. Ramona was disloyal to Jill, she knew that Ramona’s popularity was rising and Jill needed Ramona to be on Team Jill. Ramona was drunk and frustrated, but she stood her ground. Jill left with her final comment, “You never were my friend and we will never be friends!” Ramona had heard that many times before from Jill but the exhaustion and frustration were overwhelming as Ramona laid on the bed sobbing.
In the morning, the ladies were taken for camel rides in the desert outside of the gates. Ramona had a serious headache and wanted to stay behind. Sonja too had decided that riding a camel was not something she wished to do. She would take photos of the ladies as they road. Just as the caravan began to move one of the brunettes began to slip off and a camel driver ran to her side. The film crew caught the event and the secret of the housewife who hit the sand, would be shown in the Fourth Season. Falling off a camel is almost as good as flipping a table. The ladies were very happy that moment would be on tape.
The afternoon filming schedule included a Belly dancing lessons, an ancient art from the era before Islam. The ladies were given appropriate clothes to wear for their lesson. A woman in a black chadori watched from the doorway. She was a government official sent to oversee today’s filming and to act if this event went out of control. The government had closely monitored all of the filming of the these ladies from New York City, as the King did not wish for his country or hotel to be insulted. Respect of the guests in homes was very important to the people of Morocco. Ramona walked up to the lady in the black chadori and told her that women need to be educated just as she had helped that Hooter’s girl last season on the neighboring boat on St. John Island. Ramona is a giver, she likes to help other women.
Unfortunately for Ramona, her remarks were looked on with shock and the Employer’s representatives had to take a meeting with the King’s representatives so filming could continue. Jill and the Countess had a conversation about Ramona while Ramona listened but remained silent for a change. Ramona again fell into tears, she was only trying to help. She wanted to go home to NYC. Jill had won this match.
In NYC, the Employer had heard good things about the filming in Marrakesh. Problems with the government did not bother him. There had been problems with law officials before with other housewives and there would be problems in the future as he was planning to send the NJ housewives to an island soon when they filmed.
The members of “THATblog!” were enjoying the discussion of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” so much that they had completely forgotten about Jill Zarin. Why would anyone care about NYC when you had the Malibu dinner battle with a seer from the show “Medium”?
Back in New York filming had slowed to a crawl as the Housewives were out of town, but The Employer sent crews sporatically to see if anything interesting happened. The Employer wanted all of the men to get together for drinks and steak dinners one night so that they could film it, but it was impossible to get them all together at the same time. The Employer didn’t care much, most of the men were dull and there would most likely be very little footage he could use anyway.
Bobby Zarin noticed that his wife’s dog Ginger was a very hungry little girl, he rarely was responsible for feeding her and didn’t realize how many lamb chops she typically would eat, so he gave her extra food. Bobby said, “It looks like you are eating for two, Ginger.” His daughter in law was eating for two, he found it funny that the dog seemed to be as well… (Maybe, three or four…. If only Bobby knew.)
> Mario and his daughter Avery were enjoying time together as the two were very close. They had laughed endlessly at dinner discussing Ramona’s foray into modeling the previous season and wondered if The Employer would ever come through with his promise to introduce Avery to Joe Jonas and Justin Bieber.
Luann’s boyfriend was enjoying his free time focusing on his business and not having to dress for dinners and fashion events that his girlfriend would drag him to while she was home. He received several text messages from many women that he’d dated in the past or met during boys night out, he usually ignored them but while Luann was out of town…what she doesn’t know won’t hurt her.
Sonja was sure to leave no loose ends while out of town. No man would ever cheat on her again, she would see to that.
Simon and the chums were eagerly awaiting the return of their Mummy, they missed her so much. They were making chocolate chip pancakes and planning trips around New York City with their own film crew. Simon would become a break out star and his videos would be on bravotv.com. Simon would be glad to get back to writing his blogs again, while time consuming, he has much more time on his hands now and really enjoyed blogging.
To Be Continued…
Part II of Quincy’s weekend blog:
Armistice by Quincy IL
Jill Zarin and the Countess had returned to Manhattan feeling that they had won the Berber War. Jill knew that Ramona and Alex had been put in their proper places. Cindy now understood the pecking order that Sonja had described in their conversation while waiting to leave on Air Morocco. This group of fabulous people would have Jill Zarin as their leader. The Countess would be on the Privy Council.
Alex understood this too and she explained what had happened in the Dinner Battle to Simon. Simon was a great audience he made all the right sounds and asked all the right questions. Simon knew that the reality show had changed and that this reality show could not survive without Jill Zarin. Everyone else was expendable. Alex would have to find a way to live with the taunts of Jill Zarin even though she rarely saw the humor behind those comments. In her private thoughts, Alex doubted that the fans would ever be able to understand Jill Zarin’s humor, but she did not say this to Simon as they were being filmed by the Employer. Simon reassured Alex. Their book tour was going well. They were finding work outside of the show and there was the possibility of a contract for Alex with a modeling agency. They would find a way to survive in Brooklyn in this economy.
The Countess and Ramona decided to throw Sixteenth Birthday parties for their daughters two days apart. They invited the same guests. Ramona’s theme was “anything you can do I can do better, I can do anything better than you.” The Countess sang, “No you can’t.” Ramona fired back, “Yes, I can. Yes, I can. Yes, I can.” Ramona was competitive from the first moment that she learned of the plans for Victoria de Lesseps birthday event. She found the best event planner, reserved an incredible midtown loft for the event and the music was to be provided by a DJ. At least that is what she told everyone who was living in Manhattan. This was going to the best party of the Fourth Season of “The Real Housewives of New York City.” The Countess was now becoming competitive too. Her daughter had a title so her event would be age appropriate for Victoria’s station in life. Victoria and Avery both chose winter themes. Ramona and Luann both knew that their party would be chosen as the season finale episode of their show.
Victoria’s event was first. One hundred family members and friends were invited to this small event. Nonalcoholic mocktinies were served Victoria’s friends.
There was a fire eater. The theme was frost so they had snow falling on the dance floor. The cake had sparklers and roses. Victoria’s maternal grandmother, Rolande Nadeau, was the last person to leave the dance floor.
Jill Zarin, Bobby Zarin, Cindy and Kelly attended the event. There were so many wonderful gifts, but Victoria loved the handmade purse and jewelry from her mother’s trip to Morocco the most.
Avery’s birthday was dazzling. There was a forest glimmering with icicles and real snow. Avery served as her own DJ at times as she was very particular about the music that would be played at her party. The cake had “Snowflakes and Sixteen Candles.” Avery wore a baby doll dress from Kimberly Towers.
Alex and Simon shared a table with Sonja and Kelly. Bobby and Jill decided to move to their table and spend the evening with their cast mates as the cameras filmed the event. Jill and Ramona acted like nothing had happened in Marrakesh. They had not spoken since they had arrived back in JFK, but Simon had contacted Bobby and suggested that Bobby intervene and encourage Jill to attend Avery’s event. The entire cast had watched Avery grow up for the past five years. That evening, changed a lot of hearts in Midtown Manhattan. The women would try to work together to promote each other and their projects.
In a huge office at 30 Rock, the Employer loved the dailies that he had seen from the fights in Marrakesh. He hoped for more conflict, but it was Christmas so several of the stars were leaving for their holiday trips. They would begin to film again in January when Sonja was throwing a Burlesque Bash Fundraiser. The visuals of the ladies in costumes should have some interest. The employer did not know that the ladies and gents had come to terms and the opportunity for conflict was disappearing for the series. This would be a problem when the producers began to edit and put film into the can for a Feb. 15th Premier. The Employer was busying with his promos. Bravo wanted to advertise the new season for over one month in order to make the fans interested in the new season.
The members of “THATblog!” were discussing the final weeks of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” and following other bravo shows. On New Year’s weekend many long time board members stopped by to wish all a Happy New Year. The creator of “THATblog!” was reviewing the many shows that had been blogged since the creation of the blog. Several late night members of the board noticed and odd posting and commented on it. In the morning, the creator of “IHJZ” noticed that post too. It seemed to be speaking to her directly.

Lynn..I found this site and find it curious and interesting. What will you do if Alex and Jill and Simon make up? You seem to hate Jill because of them. If Simon asks you to end all the hate..will you? Just curious. K
After looking at the IP and remembering that several people had noted that Jill Zarin had gone to Aruba on vacation, the blog owner realized Jill Zarin was asking her this question so she answered Jill Zarin in a blog explaining that she hoped Alex and Jill would make peace because she did not want Alex to be mistreated by Jill Zarin in the future.
Jill Zarin responded on twitter.
@JillZarin: Who knew we had so many fans in Aruba! Our show airs here and all over the world. I feel like we have friends everywhere we go. So blessed.
@JillZarin: I just heard some of you have been bullied AGAIN by hate blogger. My cyber assistant will start blocking any of their followers. I hope helps
There were a number of discussions on the board concerning the post and asking why Jill Zarin would take time from her fabulous vacation to join word press and post to the blog owner. It had to be the name of that blog, “I Hate Jill Zarin.” Jill Zarin, the Bravo reality star at the center of a fabulous group of people, was bothered by a group of women and men who simply hated her behavior and was not afraid to state their feelings. Jill Zarin had conquered all of her cast mates, but she was still at war. An opportunity for peace would be offered, but Jill Zarin would decline that offer.
The Employer was having a wonderful New Year’s vacation. He was out of the country and he did not have a care in the world. His Feb. schedule was strong and he would get great ratings which would please his new boss, Comcast. This was going to be a wonderful New Year.
Real Housewife of New Jersey, Teresa Giudice’s husband Joe has been arrested again, this time he decided to use someone else’s information to get a fake driver’s license. This guy seems to think that the laws don’t apply to him.
First his lies on his Bankruptcy filing, drunk driving conviction, fighting at his niece’s Christening, fighting while on a Bravo sponsored trip, now this? Wow Joe Giudice, you must enjoy it in jail, are the kids really getting to you that much? or is it Teresa’s constant nagging?
Until Next Time….
