IHJZ The Real Housewives of New York Season Four

I Hate Jill Zarin  The Real Housewives of New York Season Four

We here at IHJZ have done some research and have come up with our own version of what will happen during the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of New York.  Some is fact taken from actual reports during filming of the show, other parts are embellished for fun but it is most certainly based on a true story… By Quincy IL and LynnNChicago.  We hope you enjoy it!

Not Really Friends

The first snow falls in New York are beautiful.  The snowflakes find their way to the streets and turn into a messy slush from traffic, but everyone enjoys the first snow in Manhattan.  After a day of playing in the snow with their children, Alex and Simon left them with the nanny and went to a popular restaurant in SoHo to have dinner with some of their real life friends.  As they were finishing their meal, Simon noticed Kelly Killoren Besimon laughing loudly as she arrived with a young handsome man.  They pushed past the people waiting in line to get in and demanded their table immediately.  Kelly is a celebrity and she expects this kind of attention wherever she goes.

Kelly saw, Alex and Simon and called out for all to hear, “Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!”  but the fake smile did not extend to her eyes.  Her eyes were beady, cold and grey, her dress was too short and her hair a rats nest.

Kelly laughed loudly as they were escorted to the best booth in the restaurant, the table that a nice couple were asked to abandon for Kelly.

Simon and Alex had made a truce with all of “The Real Housewives of New York City” recently.  They were fellow cast members after all.  Simon said, “I wonder if we should say hello to Kelly and her friend.”

Alex said, “Of course, that is the polite thing to do.”  Alex got up and walked over to greet her fellow cast mate.  Kelly did not reply to Alex’s kind greeting but rather she raised her menu to cover her face.   As Alex walked back to her table she could hear Kelly and her young male friend erupt in laughter.   Simon and Alex said nothing to their friends.  There was nothing to say.  This is New York City and that person was Kelly Bensimon.

Sonja sent a text to all of her cast mates, “I am planning a Burlesque Party with the most fabulous people in Manhattan.  I would like to all to come.”

Jill Zarin read the invitation, snorted her disgust at such a tacky invitation, not a fancy evite that she typically sends but immediately texted back her acceptance anyway.  Jill called Luann within seconds to discuss the party and to ask how Sonja was going to pay for this party.  Luann explained that Sonja has friends in the restaurant industry so in exchange for a shout out on her reality TV show; Sonja gets these restaurants to supply everything as a part of the deal.  Jill Zarin is the master of tweeting for freebees like cupcakes and boxes of liquor, but Sonja really knows how to arrange events that everyone in Manhattan hopes to attend.

Jill Zarin loved to gossip about money.  Jill knows who has money and who does not have money.  She knows about old money and new money, Jill keeps track of everything and everyone.  During the first season of filming Jill knew Bethenny came from a family with money but that the poor girl had little of her own.  Jill would take care of Bethenny, feed her and put a roof over her head but track everything along the way.

Jill Zarin was becoming more and more in tune to her cast mates lives as her Google Alert sent her messages frequently.  She loved to share what she read online with the other housewives via text messages.  Her Google Alert on Sonja Morgan revealed that Sonja’s lawyers had filed for bankruptcy while she had been in Europe for a week.  Jill immediately contacted Luann to gossip about Sonja and her financial problems, as she said how sorry she was that Sonja was struggling, Jill was secretly thrilled of more negative press about the Blondes on her show.

Luann was having her own financial issues.  Her ex-husband, The Count and his family have trusts and the third wife is low on the totem pole when it comes to divorce settlements even if she did live on a grand scale during the marriage.  Luann did not appreciate Jill’s call as she sincerely liked Sonja and certainly understood Sonja’s problems.

Jill said, “How did Sonja spend 19.8 million dollars in five years?”

Luann responded, “She had a settlement with a production company.”

Jill started to explain to Luann the importance of good money managers and how she would never find herself in that same horrible position, “Never spend more money than you have”  Jill told Luann but Luann wasn’t listening, the last thing she needed was financial advice from Jill Zarin.  Luann told Jill she had another call and had to go but in reality she had to go and deal her daughter as the loud rap music and giggling coming from her room had gotten to be too much for Luann.

Luann’s daughter Victoria has had trouble adjusting to their new financial situation.  She loved her school and her friends in Manhattan, but when her parents separated, they had to move to the Hampton’s home and she was temporarily in a school where she felt like she was an outcast. Luann’s son Noel de Lesseps had been very quiet.  Both children missed their father.  They also missed Rosie, who had helped raise them as well as having been the housekeeper and cook.  Rosie was unable to move to the Hamptons permanently as she had her own family in the city.

Ramona was planning a new line of non-religious jewelry so she was busy at the husband’s office.  Ramona was a busy business woman, she was going to exercise classes and had daily beauty treatments trying to maintain her looks.   Looking like you are 35 years old when you are really 55 years old is a challenge.  Ramona was still upset with Jill Zarin.  The two ladies had made peace at her daughter’s 16th birthday party, but Jill had not returned her calls recently.  Ramona knew that Jill was on her blackberry day and night tweeting constantly so surely she saw the messages from Ramona.

Whenever Ramona is under stress she takes it out on her employees. Today she was interviewing for more office help as the calls and orders were getting to be too much for just one assistant.  Ramona was also starting her new wine label and knew the office would be hectic.  Ramona excelled at dealing with people, she knew that they appreciated her feedback on how they dressed for interviews and would forever be grateful that she suggested her new skin care line to improve their looks.  How could she hire any of these girls when they don’t look their absolute best?

Sonja has asked Cindy Barshop to join her as she tried on costumes for her party, The Employer would be sending a film crew .  Sonja was in a short French maid’s outfit when she leaned over for the cameras to film her bare bottom and then made a joke about forgetting half of her costume.  The cameramen enjoyed it, although they thought for sure The Employer wouldn’t use this footage on the air.

Alex and Simon showed up for their costume fitting.  Simon said, “I love to dress up as much as I love to see Alex in fish net stockings.”  If ever words were unnecessarily uttered, Simon had just uttered them.

Simon van Kempen had recently made a huge life change, he resigned from his job managing a beautiful boutique hotel and now lands freelance work involving social networking and the internet.  Simon was the first to see that Kelly Bensimon had a problem with her Twitter account.  She had attempted a name change, and made a complete mess of the whole thing.  Although Kelly had recently dissed his wife in the restaurant, Simon knew that he could help a cast mate and a damsel in distress.

Simon always tries to be the gentleman when he saw that someone had taken over Kelly’s old Twitter name and how upset it had made Kelly he sent a request through a private message to the Twitter member who had taken over Kelly’s old Twitter name.  Unfortunately this act of kindness blew up in Simon’s face.  Word spread quickly through the Real Housewives fan base on Twitter and among the blogs that Simon was consorting with the enemy.  Fans didn’t understand why Simon was helping Kelly after they had all supported him and his wife for so long against Kelly’s accusations that Alex had bullied Kelly.   Fans watched as Simon and Alex seemingly were becoming friendly on the internet with Jill Zarin and Kelly Bensimon after they had always been so mean to Alex McCord.  Fans defended Alex and now felt betrayed.  Twitter and the blogs blew up against Simon but he did not back down, he responded and without giving away secrets of the show, attempted to defend his actions.

During the chaos Simon received an email from someone who lives on the prairie.  A member of the IHJZ blog, she would write blogs for the board to discuss with the permission and support of the blog owner.  That email was very uncharacteristic and she was very unkind to Simon vanKempen as she felt, like so many others, that he had sold out his  supporters who had been there for Alex and Simon in their darkest hours.

Simon reviewed the email and because he knew of and respected this IHJZ writer, he requested the email author’s phone number, he called her on a Sunday afternoon.  Simon explained that he and Alex are real people and not characters on a television show.  He said that people grow and change and that it isn’t healthy to hold grudges.  Yes, they suffer, but healthy people move on.  If you are a cast member of “The Real Housewives of New York City,” you know Kelly and Jill, you eat with them, you attend events with them.  Yes, both have done things to Alex and Simon, but over time, people adjust.  So this is what happened in the Fourth Season of “The Real Housewives of New York City” people found a way to get along because they had to.   The Employer will hate this and he may not renew for another season on the show, but normal people do adjust.

So, the person on the prairie felt badly, because of that email.  After thinking about Simon’s words on the phone she regretted using the word, “turncoat” in the email.  Simon is not a turncoat, he is a husband and father living in a bubble.  The kids are coming to an age where a comment from Jill Zarin on national TV could be used to taunt them in the school yard.  Good parents, living in the big city and on the prairie make these adjustments for the benefit of their children.

Simon took to the internet and wrote this: “There is no way that I can please everyone all the time, I own everything I did & with good conscience. There seems to be many misconceptions out there & when you watch the 4th season many will be cleared up.”

“Lastly if I didn’t care what one fan wrote I wouldn’t have entered into a dialogue with them.”

Simon van Kempen did enter into a dialogue with one of them who lived on a prairie that day and over time, I came to realize that Simon van Kempen is a gentleman and a very intelligent person who can survive in the canyons of Manhattan with people that seem to act like animals while keeping his humor, sense of honor and being a good dad at the same time.  Apparently, I can make a mistake, admit my error and give a sincere apology while hoping that my apology does get accepted because it is sincere.  Quincy~

Weekend Part II –  The Real Housewives of New York Season Four

Cold War

Sonja Morgan’s Burlesque Party was attended by the elite members of New York City Society and The Real Housewives of New York City.  Sonja hated to mingle her real friends with the sometimes inappropriateness of her cast mates but tonight she made an exception.  The party theme was “Fishnet, Feathers, and Flesh.” While Jill initially accepted the invitation, she felt the theme was ridiculous and knew her absence would negatively affect Sonja’s party so Jill sent a last minute regret via text to Sonja.   Jill’s absence left The Employer with very little to film, the party went off without a hitch.

Ramona Singer is new to Twitter but she loves to tweet.  She often tweets nonsense questions and even gives away a few secrets about The Real Housewives of New York City.  Ramona’s followers adore her!  One morning Ramona opened her Twitter account and was surprised to see a you tube link to a video of Luann’s daughter, Victoria de Lesseps who appeared to be rolling a marijuana cigarette and using foul language including the “N” word.  Neither of these things are covered in Victoria’s mommy’s book. Without another thought, Ramona retweeted this link to the video and many of Ramona’s followers were very offended.  Why would Ramona send such a foul video out to her fans?  Ramona was no fan of Luann but the offensive “N” word was not just uttered by Victoria in the video, it was right there spelled out in that tweet, it was so insane that Ramona felt it was ok to send that out to everyone.

While Jill Zarin and Luann were in Atlantic City filming for show, one of the producers received Ramona’s tweet and knew that this would be fodder for the masses.  The producers discussed how they would work this into the show.  They approached Luann who was visibly shaken and refused to continue filming. Jill was torn, she wanted viewers to see what a foul inappropriate thing Ramona had done but she did sincerely care for Victoria, having a daughter too, Jill knew how much damage could be done by having this on camera.  Jill and Luann immediately went back to Jill’s hotel room and Luann called Ramona, “Ramona, how could you put this out.  You are crazy?  I would not have done this to your child.”  Ramona was shocked, this was Luann over-reacting again as usual, Luann is always all about the drama.   Luann asked Ramona how she could tweet anything so offensive and as Luann’s reprimand continued, Ramona opened her Twitter again and saw the word in her Tweet.  Ramona immediately asked her daughter to help her to delete that tweet but the damage was done.

Soon the video was also removed from you tube.  Members of THATblog were surprised that Jill Zarin, the center of the circle of fabulous people in The Real Housewives of New York City was the only NY Housewife who did not receive that tweet that Ramona so carelessly forwarded to her followers. It was sent to all of the other NY housewives even Cindy Barshop, the new housewife who has yet to be well known since she hasn’t appeared on air yet.  Why Jill did not receive that tweet is a mystery that many speculated about but may never be solved.

The Employer was very disappointed that Luann and Jill refused to allow their reaction to the news of Victoria’s You- tube to be filmed as he had cameras rolling at the time.

Alex explained to Luann that they all make mistakes and Ramona’s, as with everything she does, are worse than your typical mistakes.  Ramona’s apology was sincere.  Unfortunately, there is nothing to stop the Employer from using what was taped and the reaction of all the housewives to Ramona’s tweet.  Luann wasn’t even listening to Alex, she didn’t care what people thought anymore, it was over and she would never forgive Ramona.  Ramona and Luann refused to sit with each other on a jet to Los Angeles to film just days after the offending tweet was posted.

In Los Angeles, Alex and Simon rented a sports car and took Luann and Ramona out to see some sites in the attempt to smooth things over. They were photographed with smiles on their faces, but only because the cameras were once again rolling.

The cast mates of The Real Housewives of New York have formed bonds over the past four seasons of filming.  This fourth season will be different as the Greek Chorus, Bethenny Frankel, has refused to film for the show.  She was our guide through the past few seasons.   Good or bad, these are real people living in an artificial bubble created by the Employer.

As Simon told me, they have moved on in their real lives and the fans have to understand that normal people have to find a way to work out their problems.  The Employer won’t be happy, but “The Real Housewives of New York” have an understanding.

Note to @gingerzarin who is now in Siberia…..  It is a Cold War.  I wish I was as intelligent as that dog.  Quincy~

• quincyil says:

It’s hard to be honest. I had a visceral reaction when I wrote the email. Of course, there were no bad words, but I have the ability to be powerful with delicate words. I control that 99.999999% of the time. I just could not understand at that moment why Simon would go to the other side.

Simon was not happy with my email. He said that I had only one thing correct in it and that was that the reality stars are on a different time frame than we are on. Bravo has us at the end of season three and they reinforce the sins of Jill Zarin by playing the shows over and over. The reality stars have experienced months of vacation and then 5 months of filming where they are together filming and interact off camera while planning. I think Simon and Alex have changed because of season three. I believe they had to make a decision to accept the person that Jill Zarin is and move on with their lives trying to make a living and raise a family in New York City.

Simon has had his moments of anger on screen. He has been frustrated too. I think he will read the story today and understand that the fans are on this journey too. We are invested in their lives. A friend here told me that this is only a blog. Yes and No. It is a study of Human Behavior to me. The people who write to this IHJZ board and discuss the shows and the other pieces of cyber information about the reality stars also have opinions and emotions.

I am not on twitter, but the twitter world went up in a dither that day too. I think it’s because we hate injustice. I feel that Jill Zarin was absolutely horrible to Alex, Simon and their boys over the past three seasons. The thought that Simon would side with Kelly and Jill…. and Jill sent me over the edge that morning. I was in shock. Now, I can look at the whole thing rationally.

I didn’t have to tell any of this to you all on the board. Harvey and Lynn knew. It could have remained a secret forever. I decided to tell you to apologize to Simon and to help explain why thousands of fans are going to be very unhappy with the outcome of season four of “The Real Housewives of New York City.”

• California35 says:

So the email part was real! I am glad both of you got to have your say, and are moving forward. I like you and Simon 🙂

• OneMoreInBoston says:

Hold up.

“to help explain why thousands of fans are going to be very unhappy with the outcome of season four of “The Real Housewives of New York City.”

How can anyone know what the outcome is if it hasn’t aired yet?

Bravo probably has more than one outcome anyway.

• quincyil says:

The stars are tweeting each other, going to the same events, and not ripping each other in the press. The outcome of season four is everyone made peace.

They are actually in a Cold War Situation where they are not dropping bombs, but are not friends.

Jill is at war with Bethenny, but Bethenny is not part of “The Real Housewives of New York City.”

Remember season two reunion of Atlanta? Kim and Nene made an agreement to not fire cannon balls at each other. Well, there are no cannon balls being fired between the camps in Manhattan. Watch the twitter. Watch the gossip rags. Zip…nada…nothing…

• OneMoreInBoston says:

oh I see…so this is your HYPOTHESIS of what will happen?

Just wondering, because it’s actually quite confusing when you state your opinion as fact.

It actually makes it seem like you’re being fed information or even seeing advanced screening of the show to predict that there “will be thousands of angry fans.”

Another hypothesis might be that there will be compelling enough reasons why there has been no twitter chatter (Bravo gag order?) and that there will be enough Bravo spin that there will not be “thousands of angry fans.”

No one knows for sure.

• quincyil says:

Well, you can see the evidence of the peace. If there is over one million fans, I am sure that thousands are not going to like Jill Zarin getting “off the hook” for years of bad deed and horrible comments.

BTW… I am sure that the cast members have found some form of resolution.

• quincyil says:

Remember the conversation that you and I had on this board after Jill Zarin wrote to Lynn from Aruba? I think the hammer that you and I were using hit the nail on the head.

• OneMoreInBoston says:

??? sorry Q I can’t even remember what I ate for breakfast- what are you referring to?
What’s the hammer?
Sorry I’m being dense- just cannot for the life of me remember what you’re talking about.

• quincyil says:

You and I had a conversation right after the Katrina post. Jill had written to Lynn from Aruba. You and I recognized that the one thing making Jill Zarin unhappy in her perfect life was the name of this blog. She can control upstreams on her own site, she can control her twitter and facebook with thousands of eight dollar an hour employees, and she can give her gossip to obsession that Jill Zarin has is this blog. Jill Zarin thought that this blog would disappear when she made peace with Simon. That was her taunt in the New Year’s post.

The peace has come, but this blog still exists.

• OneMoreInBoston says:

But we don’t KNOW that Jill is getting off the hook, do we?

• quincyil says:

I listen, watch, and research.

Alex and Simon moved forward.

Jill Zarin used her power effectively.

The Employer has the power to edit in ways that seem different from reality, but the entire cast is able to work together at this time.

Jill Zarin has directed her anger at Bethenny and this blog.

• OneMoreInBoston says:

OK- Q I don’t want to mountain out of a molehill – but these are your opinions- not facts.

These “stars” go to red carpets, lunch together in front of paparazzi, etc.

Then when the season airs they get into a slap fight.

You cannot tell by interviews and tweets before the season.

Its called “spin” and its used to keep you guessing.

Like on Celebrity Apprentice. Trump says NeNe and Star get into physical fight, but neither of them confirm it.

Funny enough, Star is suing the chick with the lips (married to Hamlin?) for harassing emails.

And three weeks ago the model Nikki Taylor was on “The Dish” saying she won C.A.

But then got fired the next week.

• PJ says:

I have to agree. It’s an opinion not fact. I would be very surprised if these crazy ladies can play nice for a whole season. I doubt they can play nice for a whole lunch.

• twoile says:

Ditto!!!!!!! FANTASTIC entertainment & can only hope the actual comes close to this blog. Thanks Lynn & Quincy;0)

5. WindyCityWondering says:

Thanks for another installment of RHNY – while fact is stranger than fiction, you have helped us all during the Bravo schedule snafu. IMO, whatever retooling they did will not be as good as the fantasy season!

6. California35 says:

Good morning all!!

I am glad I am reading this on a more normal time to conent on it. Lynn and Quincy you guys are very creative  The made up season sounds like a real episode, you guys have many facts and events that did happen mixed on with the made believe. Thanks for entertaining us 

7. butterisafruit says:

I’m catching up on the blogs,
Lynn I thought you lost your mind. I almost went into melt down. You were jumping over to the dark side.
You got me GOOD. Congrats.

I’m not going to watch NY either. I will miss the Morocco trip, sadly. Then again it’s probably just as well. Having to watch stupid, selfish, gold diggers, tour the old city will be too much. Especially where I know neither, Jill or Kelly could find the place on a map. LuAnn, Sonja and Alex, no problem, the have the maturity and style to understand the mystique of Morocco.
However it was Bravo that decided to keep Kelly when she has proved that she’s unbalanced. Andy can call it drama, and laugh all he wants. I’m offended and he’s lost a viewer.

• quincyil says:

I am going to watch. I read the reviews from a number of sources who already watched the first episode. Jill is mad at Alex. What reasons could there be? She could be mad that Alex made a comment to Jill about Bethenny cutting off ties. That is killing the messenger and it’s not uncharacteristic for Jill to hold that kind of grudge. I believe. that Jill has issues outside of season three and that have to do with Alex, Simon and fans. Now think about what happened right after the reunion of season three. Alex and Simon went to Chicago. Think about Jill Zarin coming to this board from Aruba. Jill Zarin would like this blog to shut down. When Jill came to the board, she addressed Lynn and asked what Lynn would do if Jill makes peace with Simon. Jill is under the impression that she can destroy this blog and control our thoughts. Jill thinks she can control all of cyberspace. Jill thinks she can not write her bravotv.com blog and then no one can make a comment about Jill Zarin.

I am the unofficial pretend soothsayer and I believe that Jill Zarin’s issues with Alex actually has something to do with Alex’s realtionships with fans.
If Jill’s Katrina post, her daughter’s Rachel post and the response Lynn’s blog gets on twitter when there is a post addressing Jill Zarin’s behavior is any indication, there is a special place in Jill Zarin’s cerebral cortex for the blog that you are reading today.

I think Jill is obsessed with this blog.

Jill having this obsession is very interesting to me. I am going to tune in and watch for her tweets. I wonder if she actually jumps up and down in Manhattan when she jumps up and down on twitter.

• WindyCityWondering says:

From what we know of Jill – being obsessed with this blog is a given! IMO, she came from a place of smug when she asked what IHJZ would do if she made peace with Simon and that there would be no justification for this blog if that happened. Unfortunately, either on or off the show, Jill continues to be a nasty piece of work.

• quincyil says:

I think Jill being nasty when Alex and Simon had small children was the reason that they have made peace. Jill can reach out and scratch your eyes out before you know that she is going to attack. I could list the times that she has done that on national TV. Can you imagine what she does behind the scenes?

We saw Kelly get an email for innocently saying that she made peace with Bethenny after that Brooklyn Fashion Show meeting. BTW Ramona was the little bird that told Jill about Kelly’s comment. What kind of friend was she to Bethenny that day?

• butterisafruit says:

Quincy, I didn’t say I was leaving the blog. I said I will not watch NY because they didn’t pull Kelly. She was so dangerous while filming they had to fly her back to NY. I won’t subject myself to that again.

I can handle Jill, she’s an open book.

• quincyil says:

I don’t think they will show Kelly in that way again. They took too much heat for that.

• butterisafruit says:

I doubt the got any heat at all. She’s still there.

• PJ says:

It dosen’t matter if they show her that way or not. It matters that viewers have witnessed the crazy and are aware that it exists. Kelly being on TV is wrong even if she manages to behave.

8. VAgirl says:

Dear Lynn and Quincy – Thanks for my entertainment for the day! I really like Simon and Alex. They are the real deal.

9. OneMoreInBoston says:

To Lynn and Quincy-

Another wonderful piece of creative writing!

The installments written by Quincy certainly help to fill the void of Bravo not coming through with any episodes of RHONY in a timely fashion- thank you for what I’m sure is tons of research that you did to flesh out a storyline of these installments in such detail.

Great blog, ladies.

10. FlowerPower says:

Thanks for another fun blog, Quincy and Lynn. I’m on the fence about watching Season 4. I’ll probably tune in for the first episode at least and see from there. Honestly, the thought of Alex and Simon playing nice with Jill has turned my stomach. I appreciate your letting us know more about where they’re coming from. I can respect that, especially since they do have young children and are trying to live their lives in more than the one dimension of Bravo Reality Land.

Still…I don’t know whether I can watch it. I’m imagining that they chose to be polite and calm (rather than ramping up the drama), but if they’re kissing butt and fawning that’s a whole different game. To me, that does call their integrity into question. But then, maybe I’m just more liable to hold grudges and doubt that people like The Zarin are actually capable of change–if they’re getting along in Season 4, I’d give the credit to Alex and Simon for their behavior, not Jill for hers. JMHO.

11. WindyCityWondering says:

Since Bethenny left RHNY I have wondered if this franchise could survive – she was the glue and the reflecting mirror that kept the cast in a cohesive perspective for me. It would have been amazing if Bravo could have gotten her to agree to talking heads only as fans would have tuned in for her take. I would understand Alex/Simon making peace with Jill and being civil with everyone and looking for new ventures to support their family (IMO they know this season is the make or break and smartly are planning for the break). There was enough intell given Bravo that LuAnn was too boring, so she has a boy toy – which intell also isn’t too keen on. Sonja talking about sex is one thing, Sonja being edited at a sex crazed slut is again not how fans remember her from Scary Island. Ramona going through menopause – yawn…. And many, many fans do not want to see Kelly return because she is unbalanced and seen as being rewarded for her bizarre, unwatchable behavior – enough so that her return is enough for them not to watch RHNY. IMO, Bravo is trying to make molehills into mountains via editing and franchise fans are too saavy for that to make a difference. At this point, nothing in me wants to invest in an entire season of RHNY.

• quincyil says:

I actually record and speed through the Luann parts. I have no intererst in the Countess. Ramona fighting with Jill is a return to season one. Jill said they would return. Jill against Alex in the beginning is nothing new.

I think these shows are interesting for a while and then the reality stars become celebrities and wave to their fans from Aruba. It is no long the nice mother from Long Island. It’s the person obsessed with celebrity.

• WindyCityWondering says:

A camera sometimes makes people do strange things….

• quincyil says:

Gretchen Rossi calls it “camera balls.” Tamra and Gretchen can be fine and then the camera starts to film and Tamra ramps it up.

Jill Zarin didn’t think that she was throwing herself under that bus in season three. She was throwing Bethenny under that bus.

• FlowerPower says:

I’ve found I can tolerate each cast for one or two seasons. I usually like the first season just because my own curiosity keeps me interested. By season two, I think, the changes are already evident–now they’re in it for real and wanting to stay relevant, keep their place in the cast, extend their fan-bases, etc. Beyond that, they risk becoming intolerable parodies of themselves.

I watched Miami and BH this year, but the episodes of OC are sitting on my DVR.

• quincyil says:

I wrote this letter a while ago…. I wanted Cat O on the NY show.

Dear Comcast, the Boss of Bravo and Andy Cohen
This is America and we fans should elect Cat O to become a new housewife on “The Real Housewives of New York City.” Bravo is just a corporation. We are the American fans of Bravo and we should have one housewife in Manhattan that tells it like it is.
Every franchise needs one honest housewife. Bethenny Frankel was our Greek Chorus in “The Real Housewives of New York City.” When someone was outrageous, Bethenny was there to point it out to us in a clever way. With the loss of Bethenny from the cast of our NYC reality show, there is no strong foil to Jill Zarin and the other stars. Alex McCord is too nice and has hives when she tries to deal with the women of Manhattan. Alex gets shocked at the outrageous statements and become tongue tied. RHNYC desperately needs a witty firecracker that simply won’t take “Bullocks.”
I can see it now. Jill Zarin begins to discuss whether or not it is correct to wear ivory dresses to a wedding. Cat O would tell Jill Zarin that it was better than wearing your mother’s draperies. Jill Zarin says to Cat O, “You never were a real friend to me.” Cat O replies, “Who are you again?”
Cat O has a memory like an elephant. She knew the comments from every cast mate at the reunion of DC. She has lists in her head.
Cat O would understand European history and would not doubt inform The Countess that a little event happened in 1789 called The French Revolution. There has not been a French Aristocracy since that year.
Cat O would be able to handle Ramona’s outbursts with humor. Ramona tells Cat O that she doesn’t care to listen to her. Cat O tells Ramona that she should turn off her hearing aid.
Cat O would share quality time discussing men as I am sure she has had as many good times as Sonja Morgan. They could discuss the differences between Spanish and French lovers. The Countess might join in that conversation as it seems she has experience in the region also. Kelly can tune down to a zero during those discussions and play with her hair while she thinks about looking for pigeon feathers in Central Park.
Cat O could also visit Bethenny’s show as a housewife friend who stops by to try Bethenny’s new cocktail mixes. I’m sure Cat O is an expert on good cocktails. Both Jason and Bethenny will love Cat O. Cookie will love Cat O. Cat O can throw balls for Cookie to run after.
In off season from the RHNYC, Cat O could go to Beverly Hills for luncheons at Villa Blanca. I don’t think Taylor would be allowed to threaten Kim Richards in the presence of Cat O. Cat O would definitely go London on Taylor for doing that.
I will go to the top with my suggestions, the fans of Bravos Reality Shows. Let’s simply call for an election and vote Cat O into a housewife position in “The Real Housewives of New York City.” If this fails, we fans might go America on the big shots at 30 Rock. That should get their attention.

• California35 says:

Oh this is so good Quincy 🙂 very funny and I can see all that lol

• SoutheastVA says:

I am a dissenter on bringing Cat O the RHONY. I don’t like her. She would just be one more Harpy who can dish it out but can’t take it coming back at her. With all her inappropriate and rude comments, why would she fly off the handle or Cry when challenged? I say Bollocks! And I’m not even English.

Sorry for the rant. But, I don’t know why some on this board are Ok with some housewives’ inappropriateness to the point of rewarding it but other less offensive housewives are relegated to nothingness or disregard.

• OneMoreInBoston says:

well, to each his/her own. No one’s off the hook totally- some just annoy me more than others and others may annoy you more.

• lovemamaearth says:

I agree that Cat can dish it but can’t take it. Much like Jill. And just the opposite of B.
I wish Alex could have gone to B’s show as a support character.

• Mimisfbay says:

How did I miss this? Oh Q this is so great! I am in…I would love Cat to be on RHONY!!! What a stellar idea. She just can’t be any better for that job. She isn’t a wuss and her feisty persona would be so great. Those pretentious NY HW’s wouldn’t know what hit them. Did you really post this before?

I found this whilst looking for HD’s post about her competition. Thank goodness I was surfing backwards and found this. You will prob never read this but, ok.

• quincyil says:

I have Miami and OC on my DVR too. I try to watch OC, but I just don’t like them anymore.

• karenne says:

I do Fast Forward through parts of the show too!
I cannot stand some of the voices, and it becomes too much to watch. If they had one shred of decency or humility, I’d feel sorry for them, when they embarrass themselves! But they don’t, and I dont like getting upset/angry about what they are forcing themselves to do in front of a camera! (watching LuAnn kiss that guy last season) to stay interesting, in order to keep their job!

But, I don’t like missing the storyline, so that is why I come here, to read what happened, and suddenly something that make me want to upchuck, is hilarious!! Because I find that so many of us find the same things “yucky” and yet they are covered here, I can watch the shows still, and do a lot of remote fast forwarding. I did alot of that for ATL too.

Thanks for taking a bullet, and writing this blog, with all the “yucky” parts included! Its amazing that a blog about the Bravo shows, is better than the actual shows are now.
But, its true, no?

Oh, I do like Alex and Simon, and find them to be the only authentic folks on the NYC show. Season one, I didnt care for them, but they had something that was sincere, and yet wasnt being shown by Bravo. I figured they were pigeon holed into the social climbers by production and chose to like them. Then, I began to see how much they love one another and how sweet Simon is, to all. He is a good man, and its been shining through all along. I think his former job, of managing the hotel must have brought him into contact with many a snob and he knows how to deal with every kind of person, without letting their garbage land on him. He can leave work at work, and bring his authentic self home, without feeling defiled.
Alex, what a fortunate woman, to be loved and have a husband she can talk to, who listens and actually encourages her, no matter what has happened!

Honestly, I dont care how Alex and Simon come off on the reality show, I still like them and they after all, are in a Bravo show. I dont remember who it was, but one of the blog readers went to their home and found them to be the REAL DEAL. Was that WSL or who?
anyway…have a good Sunday and thanks for the work put into this blog!
I bet…if IHJZ quit, NYC would fold.
think about that, Andy if you are reading !!!!
and if JZ is reading….Lady, how can you keep embarrassing yourself and still go out to functions and film the show? I think thy name is Narcissus, Lady in her mind, Jill. and sometimes, I think it is just BRAT, still emotionally a seventh grader trying to be and stay popular.
uggghhhhh
get voice lessons please!!!!!!!
and stop gossiping….is that what your Jewish mom taught you?
oh, probably…cuz she does it too.
Poor sister on the radio….she seems “normal” and for her, blood is thicker than water, but can’t you give her a push the right way and tell her that she is HORRIBLE?
oh well….

I get ready for the start of show…my stomach is upset.
but I have my trusty remote and the fast forward button!
Dont watch it, without it.

k

Was anyone at Bethenny’s book signing yesterday? She tweeted that there were over 1,000 people there, that is unreal! Was anyone there that can give a report?

• vilzvet says:

I ended up not going. The rain began again, I hadn’t even finished dinner and it was already 7 o’clock, etc. It was conspiring against me, whahh….plus I had no one to go with. Now I’m glad that it looked like a mob. I didn’t want to be waiting outside this little bookstore in the rain, it was miserable out. She really should’ve had it at a Borders or Barnes & Noble nearby like Alex and Simon did last summer. It could have held everyone at one time, if that number is correct. Glad to hear that she had a big turnout! Now I’ll probably get the book for my e-reader since I won’t be getting it autographed.

• California35 says:

😦 sorry you missed it 😦

Wow so many people to see her, it is great for her…but wow for us to go see her, so many people to wait with lol

I would LOVE to see her if she ever comes near me.

• vilzvet says:

I would think a trip to Cali is in her schedule, since she loves it out there so much! I really feel she is going to end up living there again sooner than later, since she already stated it to Jason this season. Are you in Southern Cal?

• dsc60 says:

it’s actually a good thing bethenny’s doing for the “mom and pop” bookstores instead of going “walmart” on them.

• karenne says:

I agree, Bethanny keeping the Mom and Pop stores alive and giving them free advertisement….Good for her, she is such a cool chick.

Dont go to Walmart, go to the stores owned by small business men and women, and also..when you can, But American!

• SusieQ says:

Hi everyone!!
First time posting but I read this blog daily and LOVE it!! I went to Bethenny’s book signing at Book Revue and thought I’d fill everyone in on thr details since some of you wanted to go but missed it. Let me start by saying it was a mad house!!! Easily over 1,000 people. It started at 7pm and we got there at 5:15pm and every seat was already taken with people standing in lines by the front where she was to speak. They had people go on line after buying her book to get group tickets for autographs. We got group E (40ish per group) and we were there 15 mins after sales started. By 7pm the place was mobbed and people left knowing they’d never see her. She spoke at most 10 mins and answered a few questions. Someone asked what really happened with Max, if she’s moving, about the Gina blessing event which she said was much worse than tv showed and she talked about selling SG Margarita. Then she started signing her book by groups. Sadly, no Jason or Julie in her entourage but she came with 2 big, body builder type guys, woman probably in 50’s with young girl around 12 I’d guess. They never left her side all night. My guess was woman probably her publisher. Everyone literally got 30 seconds with her. No personalizations on books. No photos. She signed books while saying hello so we all have different shaped swiggles as signatures because she wasn’t looking at book while signing them. It’s ok because nice to actually see her. Seeing her really surprised me though. She is SO SKINNY!! TOO skinny!! And I’m 5’2″ and weight less than 100lbs and even my friends commented B was smaller than me and I’m told I could gain 5-10lbs. Honestly she was tiny. But she was very nice and happy and obviously enjoys her success and fans. She seemed to really enjoy all her fans fawning all over her and believe me she had people screaming we love you bethenny all night!!

Thank you for the recap. I’m definitely glad I didn’t go, “no pictures” puhleeze that is crazy. There should always be time for a quick photo. Sounds like it was very claustrophobic and so many people! But she certainly did bang-up business!

• lovemamaearth says:

Did she say what really happened to Max? Is Gina still with them?
Thanks for the report on the fun.

TWOP reports on the Bravo Upfronts, interesting quotes from the Housewives, Kelly’s in particular made me want to stick a fork in my eye.

• FlowerPower says:

I think Kelly should market her own line of perfumes. She could call them Delusion, Distortion, and Lies. Jill would probably be a repeat client.

• OneMoreInBoston says:

And while we’d heard rumors about this season’s start getting postponed because of lack of drama, the Countess herself assured us that was untrue. And a Countess wouldn’t lie, right? “Honey, there was so much drama that they needed more time to edit it,” she insisted. “I don’t know who put that out there, but we have 16 episodes and we finished filming at the end of January and the show was airing in February, and there was no way to put all those storylines into something comprehensive.” She also added: “There is always drama. Seven women in a house in Morocco? Thank god I was the hostess, that’s all I have to say.”

LuAnn can you say “irrelevant”???

• error404 says:

It’s both true. There was lots of drama and the show show will be dull dull dull.

Alex was interviewed at the upfront and she said something like “There’s not like one big fight. It’s jut like lots and lots of small fights that happen through out the course of the season. It’s ongoing.” and all I could think of was “ZZZZZzzzzzzz”. Maybe others want to watch 7 dull women bicker on a daily basis about petty shit, but I don’t.

• OneMoreInBoston says:

This is some kinda amazeballs spinning going on her:

“”Bethenny is a very nice person,” Bensimon told us. “I really have no animosity towards her. I only filmed with her the couple of times that you guys saw on television and we created awesome TV. It wasn’t what you guys see it as — she’s a great character, we had so much fun filming and I wish her well with all her endeavors.”

I wonder if she made this up- or if someone stuck it in her mouth.

Nervous breakdown=awesome TV.

I have to remember that.

“what’s the matter, OneMoreInBoston? Are you mad? Is that why your setting my house on fire?”

“Heaven’s no! I’m just creating Awesome TV.” 😉

• quincyil says:

Lynn and I were sad that our series is ending. We are considering rewriting the show for Sat and adding stuff…

• PJ says:

Wow Kelly is delusional. She seems to think she can just spin and spin and the viewers are so stupid they will buy it.

• vilzvet says:

I need to borrow that fork next. I also read Kelly’s comments.

• WindyCityWondering says:

Kelly clearly has blocked out how utterly horrible she was to Bethenny and makes it sound like they were just acting! Bravo is so wrong in giving her a platform of any kind.

• butterisafruit says:

Exactly Windy City. She should be embarassed too. I wouldn’t show my face in public if I pulled what she pulled.

• error404 says:

Not exactly. She’s the one who keeps bringing it up, and she’s the one who keeps insisting that she was bullied. Kelly’s diseased mind is sometime funny, like when she says “NY is hot. It’s cool”, but when those same shorted out circuits spew “All the women bullied me, and I’ve assured them all none of them will ever have to worry about being bullied or made unsafe like I was” it’s just too “off her meds” for me to laugh at. How can all be just for tv when she insists in the same breath she was bullied?

The other problem is that she keeps insisting that they are “Aspirational”. Oh good god give it up! No one, and I mean NO ONE, wants to be any of these women, least of all Kelly!

• PJ says:

It amazes me that Kelly could possibly think that anyone aspires to be like her, how can she not see that she is the joke on the show? Kelly says she is not about drama but that’s all she’s about, and not in a good way. I wonder if Kelly knows the difference between inspirational and aspirational?

15. This is a tweet from Rob Shuter. He just watched the first two episodes of RHONY.

NaughtyNiceRob: Just watched first 2 episodes of #RHONY OMG!!!! #bestseasonever Kelly is a bit dull without @bethenny to fight with! But rest brilliant

Why did they keep Kelly? I still don’t understand why they invited her back for season 4.

• quincyil says:

That is odd, I saw a review of the first show and the reviewer gave it 3 stars out of five. That is not bestseasonever.

• Andy Cohen included the hashtag “bestseasonever” in one of his tweets also. They are trying too hard to convince RHONY viewers that season 4 isn’t going to be boring without Bethenny.

• quincyil says:

I think Rob is close to the people of Bravo and that is how he gets his scoops. The only problem with that is you have to be supportive of they will drop you like a hot potato.

At least, we can be honest here. If we like something you can be sure that we like it. If we dislike something, we are not afraid to say it. You can trust free opinions.

17. knocknoc says:

Thank you Lynn and Quincy for all the entertainment
re the Housewives Celebrites. There is so much more
clarity re the background drama, however, what will
remain the same is the title of your blog IHJZ
Jill has said over and over again… ” I am who I am”
and will not change or it should read: cannot change
her behavior. Truces stated doesn’t mean there really
are truces — only fodder for the tabloids.

I am so grateful that Bethenny left the RHONY and
has blossomed on her new show. (Bravo has extended
her show another season). Her absence from the
NYC show still displays strange behavior from Jill towards
Bethenny. Yet all that she ever said about wanting to
be friends with her is still filled with angry words and
spite with biting words towards that “friendship”. She
still carries a torch for her “friend” even though she
denies it but the fact that Bethenny won’t give her the
time of day….I’m sure curdles her blood. For her it is
natural to still trash her to everyone and every news
publication. When will she ever let by-gones be
by-gones. I doubt it will ever happen.

Go Bethenny! and may you continue to be successful in all your
endeavors and share them all with your intimate circles of
friends of course your faithful fans.

Reality shows are nice to see but there seems to be
a time for change since everyone has “grown up” and
willing to move on with the dreadful behavior/bullying.
We know all the charities that they support
so now a new lady will be introduced and alliances will still
be formed. I don’t know maybe a whole new group
is needed to show us how real grown ups behave. How
many dinners and glasses of wine can we see? Fashion
shows, jewelry purchases and yet the bickering still exists.
I don’t know if they have burned their bridges or if Bravo
is content with a flicker of enjoyment. Just wondering.

Somebody asked why Bravo held an Upfront in Chicago, this explains it a bit. There are also a few tidbits about a few of the cast members that were there.

I wish Stephanie would have gotten a bit more dressed up, at least the hair. The chef jacket and hair pulled back with no make up made it seem like she was actually cooking that night, I hope she didn’t have to do the cooking.

• AZ Girl says:

Stephanie was probably supervising in the kitchen so that explains her attire. Kandi looks amazing. Love the new hair. Bethenny is really getting thin. It is starting to show on her face. I will have to check out Girl and the Goat when in Chicago in May.

• OneMoreInBoston says:

Kandi looks amazing and so does Cynthia-but that’s a given.

Whew, Phaedra’s husband is hot- quite a fine example of manhood.

• error404 says:

As if I needed another reason for Ms. Parks to irk me: she shows up to an event where guys aren’t even wearing overcoats, sporting a full length fur. Luckily, none of those minks died cruelly, they all committed suicide, leaving notes that said making a self-important nobody feel superior showing off made their tiny lives worth living.

20. Nancy says:

I have an idea. If we put all Bethenny’s one liners and put them on T-shirt’s do you think Andy would sell them along with the other Bravo items? I just don’t want to forget ANY of them.

21. quincyil says:

Bethenny can take it, but she also dishes it out. She wrote in her book that she did stay apart of the crowd of women in RHNYC. I think she was very busy with the beginning of the Skinny Girl line of cocktails and it takes a lot of time to write three books.

I think that Jill Zarin and the other women are jealous that Bethenny got her own show. Bethenny is a producer too. That means she is making money from the starring role and the production. The other women want money too.

The current housewives in NYC have to do something to say the show as it is a cash cow for them. They use it to sell products and let’s face it, they are nobodies when this show disappears. Has anyone paid any attention the the stars that are gone from other shows? How are the Lynn Curtain wrist band sales going these days?

I took Lynn’s link about the Chicago party and wondered why Bethenny traveled half way across the country to be at a Bravo event when there was one down the street. The reason is she didn’t want to be with the housewives of NYC.

I don’t blame Bethenny for leaving that show. You can’t be with toxic people for a long time. It does affect your creativity.

• Nancy says:

I read something last week re: Bethenny saying she knew she was going to get her own show from the very beginning of RHONY S1. Do you believe that?
If it’s true she was (is) very calculating. She was like that during the Martha Stewart show when she threw someone under the bus near the end.
Food for thought. If Jill Zarin never existed would we think so highly of Bethenny? I know those are some fighting words but…

• quincyil says:

I think I would respect Bethenny’s work ethic. I think I would like her humor even if Jill Zarin has not been a part of the mix.

Everyone is imperfect. Bethenny is willing to share her imperfections in the name of success and truth.

I think that they filmed RHNYC for several months and during that time, the producers begged Bethenny over and over to come aboard. She made that show and she had to have been in negotiations at least by season two because she told Jill about her spin off right after the season two finale. That is when Jill turned on her.

Bethenny treated her participation on the RHNYC as a business adventure. While some of the wives were showing off their wealth, she was busy making contacts at Bravo and in the business world.

I have read a biography of Martha Stewart and she stepped on a lot of friends on her way to the top. Bethenny might have followed in her footsteps and stepped on a few friends too.

• Nancy says:

All in all I do adore Bethenny. Re: Bethenny’s show I was under the impression that Bethenny and Jill talked about the two of them doing their own show. If that’s correct and if Jill wasn’t such a bitch to her would the show be Bethenny & Jill’s? Did Bethenny alway know Jill wouldn’t be included? Did the producers only talk to Bethenny and not Jill?
One thing that doesn’t sit well with me is that Bethenny puts her therapy on film for all to see while bashing her mother & father. I was raised by a step mother that made Joan Crawford look like Mrs Cleaver. I would NEVER share that on TV. It’s just wrong. People hang on to feelings of anger and/or resentments because it’s still working for them. Bethenny is still getting something out of it. In my opinion it’s a defense stance to keep people away. She needs to forgive her parents and move on. Trust me it isn’t easy. I heard at an
AA meeting once that keeping a resentment in your head is like having someone live there rent free. Usually that person is NOT at home thinking of you. I’m afraid that if Bethenny can’t forgive her parents or come to some sort of peace it will affect the relationship she has with her daughter. The one person she holds so dearly. Patterns repeat in life because thats all we know.

I have no doubt in my mind that B is very calculating. Why else would she do a show like Apprentice? They’re all calculating, which is why their on Bravo and we are watching. (Although I don’t remember the specific challenge you refer to) All the housewives want their own show. Believe me, it’s not from want of trying that Jill and Teresa don’t have their own spin-offs. But all of B’s efforts would have been for naught had the audience not adored her. While I have no doubt that she’d still be popular anyway, I do also think that Jill and Kelly attacking her made her 100x more popular. Everybody has a soft spot for a victim, and just because B is a bit of bitch, doesn’t justify Jill going for her jugular. Kim Z for example is probably one the worst humans I’ve ever encountered, yet as soon as Nene went for her it was all over, and one of the world’s biggest bitches won the sympathy vote.

America loves the underdog.

I met someone here in Quincy who actually worked in Martha Stewarts catering business. She also helped with recipes for the early books. She was not allowed to tell us any stories, but when we asked questions, she would indicate yes or no with her head. It was great fun and at the end she told us that we asked excellent questions.

Martha was very controlling and I think you can see that Bethenny is controlling also.

• Crisanna says:

That’s very interesting. It was not her partner in the catering business before she became big, I take it? She treated her very poorly also according to the movie about her. (Martha, Inc.) I teach entrepreneurship and I always show that movie to students. According to the movie, she was very nasty to everyone and definitely stepped on anyone to get to the top.

• quincyil says:

I think she was an employee and she worked in CT for three years during the time Martha was going through her divorce.

We had a symphony fundraiser and someone had the brilliant idea of hiring this lady for our Symphony of Trees thinking it would be bring in more women. People in Quincy really didn’t pay attention to her and it was very expensive to bring her in. We learned a valuable lesson. Stick to local choirs, child dance troups and children’s music groups. When the kids perform, relatives come and afterwards they buy their child food and buy raffle tickets to win decorated weaths and trees.

• indy anna says:

Bethenny was broke when she was asked to do RHoNY. She desperately needed to brand herself and make some money. From the beginning, upon joining RHoNY, that was her plan, so yes, she is calculating. Anyone who is as successful making it on their own is calculating. It comes with the territory.

• Noreen says:

Isn’t sad that when men make good business decisions it’s because they have a good business plan, but a woman is calculating. Rock on Bethenny. Show us how to do it and on our own terms!

• LynnNChicago says:

I agree with that Error, it didn’t hurt that the two (Bethenny and Kim) were also pregnant at the time.

I know they weren’t when the filming of all the fighting went on but they were when it aired and that helps with the public sympathy,

• Nancy says:

error,
I totally agree. Jill was a complete bitch to her. I’m not defending Jill at all. I still have one question though.
Let’s all agree that Bethenny & Jill talked about getting their own show while they were really good friends.
Back then Jill loved Bethenny so it wasn’t all about the money for Jill. She really wanted to do it with Bethenny.
Then all of a sudden the producers wanted Bethenny without Jill. Think about how you would feel about
that. The emotion of anger often comes from being hurt. It in no way excuses Jill’s behavior. I do think Jill was really hurt about it.

• mariareads says:

We can also turn this around a little bit. Jill saw that there was a real connection w/ viewers and Bethenny & saw an opportunity. Jill IS an opportunist and I have no illusions that she would NOT see B as a ticket to more reality fame.
Look, B is not perfect. Some of her snark is really fresh and she has a lot to learn about family relationships. I think she has major issues and enjoys being isolated in her own home w/ her little family-which she readily admits. I can identify with that and, in fact, I can be very much like her when I’m kidding around. My humor gets snarky and can be sharp. Makes people laugh but I try really hard not to do it at the expense of someone else. You have to be careful. But it also is what makes her attractive to viewers. She’s imperfect, she’s snarky, she has very little filter and goes with it. As for her being cunning or calculating-if you want to be in business you had better be both of those things or you won’t get anywhere at all. There are sharks all over the place who will tell you you can’t do something, take your idea and run with it. She did what she had to do as a single women facing the future very possible on her own and she fulfilled her wish to be self sufficient and not dependent. No sin in that. If a man did it nobody would bat an eye. …..No, Jill saw the potential to use Bethenny to get somewhere and it didn’t work for her the way she wanted it to. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it LOL!

• Nancy says:

You are probably are right.

• VAgirl says:

I agree, Maria. Bethenny already had a career master plan in place and looked at the RHNY to further that plan. She was thinking way past RHNY. All Jill wanted was to show the world “her fabulous circle of friends.” She wasn’t thinking past that. It was only when Bethenny starting having real success in the business world that Jill started to get really jealous. Jill was OK as long as she felt Bethenny was the underdog (as Ramona said). Jill just couldn’t stand the fact that she wasn’t the “STAR” of RHNY and she thought she could manipulate things to turn it around. It backfired on her big time. IMHO

• quincyil says:

Jill is a jealous person. She can’t stand others getting ahead of her. I’m sure that no one would dare get between Jill and what she wanted in life. Bobby is a means to a goal, but Jill is still unhappy.

• error404 says:

I actually think we all face these kinds of challenges everyday. every time you have a friend in school or at work, or even out on the pull, there is that chance that your bff will get the A and you don’t, that he/she will get the promotion you really wanted and he/she claimed he/she didn’t, that he/she gets asked out by the guy you’ve been carrying a torch for, etc… It’s how we react to these situations that shows our true colors and Jill does not handle these situations well. I truly think at best, some of us would have dumped B as a friend and even slagged her off to the other women, but I don’t believe there is one person on this blog who would have tried so hard to get B’s show to flop. Jill is not a good person.

• quincyil says:

Women are competitive with women. Men seem to be able to form friendships where they just love hanging out and sharing about sports, but women want to have a bigger ring or a bigger house.

Speaking of housemates… rotfl. Vicki and Don are in the same house during the divorce and the house is for sale. Nene and Gregg are also living together in their leased home during the divorce. I haven’t seen many people do this in the real world. Usually, divorcing couples can’t stand each other and they certainly don’t want to have breakfast together.

• OneMoreInBoston says:

• floridagirl88 says:

I just watched that trailer over on Simon’s blog and these women are nutso. While I get tired and anxious watching Bethenny (all the stuff she does, the pace of her speech), at the end of the episode, I see the good in it all. That NY trailer alone shows me these women are living in an alternate reality. Now we get to see the real Sonja? Hmmmmm. Jill yelling and telling Ramona she’s not her friend (this is kindergarten stuff), LuAnn attempting drama and oh Lord, was that Natalie Cole telling Luann she has a great voice? Times must be hard for Natalie to be on video saying that. Kelly is still delusional. Poor Alex. What are you doing on this show? It’s time for you to move on to something more positive before these women infect you with their damaged dreams.

27. Jill is going to be on WWHL on Thursday night. It should be interesting.

Maybe Andy can finally ask her about Amazongate? and trashing Alex & Simon’s book?
Don’t get me wrong I do not like Jill at all but I do try to figure out why people act the way they do.

• error404 says:

I don’t think Jill knows why she does these things. That’s why she changes her story every time she is asked, and why she most often ends the conversation with pat excuses like “everybody does it!” and “I am what I am”. I think Jill is smart, but I don’t think she has a ounce of self-reflection or analysis. I think both Bawby and Lisa constantly have to point out to her even the most basic of observations like “well, you were hurt” or “ask yourself if the friendship is worth fighting for”. She often acts like her emotions are something that happen to her, rather than something she feels. She’s a little disconnected IMO.

I love houses. I missed writing the finale of MDL listing and had the desire to take notes about the number of bedrooms and bathrooms in the houses in the finale even though I had no reason to take those notes.

31. Kukulet says:

Kelly on The View? To do what? Sit there and go “bzzttt”?

That’s my only issue with the upcoming season of RHoNY so far. (I’m sure I’ll find more as the season progresses.)

Why oh why did they bring Kelly back? It’s bad enough that Jill Zarin is a mean, unconscionable, vindictive, whiny, self important, self obsessed shrew without one redeeming feature. It’s bad enough that Luanne DeLesseps is so boring that watching her is like watching a lizard sunning itself on a rock in the middle of nowhere. But Kelly? Not only mean, vindictive, self absorbed, inane, ridiculous, and dim witted, but also NUTS. Bonkers. Creepy. To the point that watching her makes everyone’s flesh crawl.

And, really, now that Bethenny is out of the mix, can you imagine anything more boring that watching Kelly Bensimon? The woman doesn’t DO anything but Tweet and diddle herself with the camera on her cell phone. Even LuAnne is entertaining by comparison, and LuAnne isn’t entertaining AT ALL.

Simon and Alex have worked out their differences with Kelly and Jill? Well, that’s nice. I actually do agree with them, that life goes on and holding onto grudges when they have to coexist with the other HW’s isn’t really productive.

But…will they still feel that way the next time the orange freakazoid flips out?

• OneMoreInBoston says:

“diddle herself with the camera on her cell phone”

I guess I missed that particular YouTube video.

• Kukulet says:

I have a sneaking suspicion that watching Kelly holding it together would be the ultimate in boring…although the ranting gibberish that she spews might be entertaining.

What does this woman do, after all? She doesn’t work, at least not in any substantial way. We’ve seen her cook…well, sort of…with her daughters a few times. Run in traffic. Show off her poor equestrienne skills. Blather on about bullying and being charitable and the time she fetched a dog from a shelter. Contradict herself repeatedly.

Her main occupation (or preoccupation) seems to be Tweeting inanity four gazillion times a day.

Out of all of them, Kelly appears to have some serious mental issues. She’s narcissistic as hell, for one thing, and her behavior often borders on schizophrenic. I can’t imagine that Bravo is doing this chick any favors by keeping her on the show. She’s not entertaining, she’s creepy.

• quincyil says:

Speaking of tweeting. Kyle Richards is tweeting that Jill Zarin and Patti Stanger are her new BFFs and she loved hanging out with them.

I liked her so much in the beginning… but if those two are her BFFs… I really don’t think she is a nice person.

• Kukulet says:

I’m with you, Quincy. That reveals a lot more about Kyle than she probably realizes.

I don’t “get” Patti Stanger. I don’t find her or her show even remotely appealing. I’ve never watched it, so maybe I’m missing something, but I haven’t heard or seen anything about her that qualifies her to be to be a matchmaker or a romantic advisor.

• error404 says:

Kyle went from fan favorite to most reviled very quickly after limogate, and I think she’s in for a big surprise come s2. She should be in damage control mode and aligning herself with 2 of the most hated bravolebrities shows she’s not very savy.

They just finished BH and are still playing Bethenny yet they announce both shows are renewed. That must be a kick in the pants to the shows like DC and Miami who filmed over a year ago and still don’t know what is happening.

In Bethenny’s book, she said that she did not play games with Bravo. She signed her contracts and did not hold our like Jill Zarin for more money. I think Bethenny’s way is the best. If you play with Bravo, they will play back. You don’t want that.

• Nancy says:

I’ve posted this already but it’s worth repeating.

I really think I am missing the boat with all of this soothsaying. I need to get on twitter and tell people their fortunes. It’s a calling… maybe, I could get a few customers. If Jill Zarin would only hire me, I could tell her the fan reaction on her fourth season today.

• Kukulet says:

Elsa scares me. Can you imagine waking up to that in the middle of the night? And now she can get “vibes” from pictures? Right.

Refusing to attend Ramona’s launch party.
That’s all I can think of right now, but what I don’t get is why?
Isn’t this an invitation for the Bravo editors to get even?

• error404 says:

Bravo is hard to figure out. Think about it, she admitted to trying to sabatage the success of BGM? a new show they wanted to do well. I would have fired her ass right there. Instead, Andy invites her on his show to shill her garbage she insists on calling a “book”, and when she storms out of the reunion, he begs her to come back. Then again, she practically gave them a “it’s either me or Alex” ultimatum, and guess which two women are still on the show, so….

• Nancy says:

All Andy cares about is $. Like it or not Jill brings the money in.
So does Teresa. And in a sick way so does Kelly.
When they let Kelly sign on for s4 I lost all respect of them.
I hope Bravo has great attorney’s. The whole situation makes me sick. These Housewives show’s are the kiss of death for almost everyone that comes on board. Can you imagine being one of Kelly’s daughter’s? School is provably a living nightmare for them. Being Ally at college? Lynn’s children? Tamera’s?The list goes on and on. How many marriages have imploded?
House payments that can’t be made. Loss of job’s. Fractured friendship’s. Do you think anyone from Bravo has lost any sleep over this? Just the opposite. They love it because they know
us viewers love to see a train wreck. I have to ask myself why do I still watch? Why is this entertaining for me?

Really appreciate you sharing your personal interactions with Simon. I can completely understand his reasoning. Sometimes my neighbors do things that bug me, but since I plan on staying here a long time I pick and choose my battles. If Alex and Simon aren’t desperate to be on TV then making peace is a better choice than say, taking the route of Tamra in OC who is willing to do almost anything on camera to stay on TV.

BTW- Has anyone ever heard of reality TV stars from other shows contacting bloggers and fans directly to complain or explain? Is this something on RHNY stars do?? Are they hypersensitive in NY?
I can’t imagine Jersey Shore stars do that.

That house is not that big. Howard Stern’s ex wife would probably have a lot of money. He was rich when they divorced. She must be a logical person. I think she has children too.

• error404 says:

Q, since you read all these sites, can you explain what the heck a “shy-acre” is?

My fav part of the house is the way the roof is designed to dump all the rainwater right on the head of the guest waiting on the front stoop! lol

• vilzvet says:

Less than an acre, and more than 3/4. Just sounds better to list it that way, I guess, especially in that neck of the woods. Long Island’s Gold Coast is even more exclusive than the Hamptons!

• quincyil says:

Interesting.

Chicago also has a Gold Coast. It is just north of the Northwestern Medical Campus on Lake Michigan. There are condos that cost millions there.

She probably has zillions of comments, none of them favorable. She deletes everyone.

46. quincyil says:

Cindy Barshop (not Barstop…thanks Lynn) said that being on this reality show was like being on Survivor. She also said it was a battlefield.

The most welcoming person was Jill Zarin, but Cindy not Barstop said that she was nervous about meeting Jill Zarin because she is intimidating. Jill said that she is a A personality and that she is strong. Jill likes that about Jill.

An open letter to Lynn Hudson rotfl….

Your idea to continue the faux season for of RHNYC is brilliant. I think there is a way to use the 14 episodes that Bravo produces as fodder for a Sat. blog story that will be interesting to the members of this board. Just reading about the show makes me laugh.

I hope that board members will comment on Fridays to give us ideas that we can add to the show. Jill Zarin will love this. We may get her to jump up and down on twitter while she instructions her minions to cut off the heads of her twitter followers.

There are a lot of funny people on this board and I know that we can make each other laugh and have a great time.

Q rotfl….

Remember how she took poor Bethenny under her wing, gave her a roof over her head and 3 meals a day? Remember how she “guided” Kiki when she foolishly made a truce with B? Do not stop at the bar Cindy not Barstop! Run! Run home as fast as you can! Jill will eat your children!

I read that she and Jill did have issues and that the discussion with Sonja over pecking order probably had something to do with the Queen of Hearts. It is Jill’s show and she will control who goes to what exotic place.

Jill is nice. She is the only person in NYC that does not close the elevator door on their neighbors.

• Kansas Girl says:

The Survivor motto “Outwit, outlast, outplay” (or something like that) is very fitting for the show Jill (thinks she) controls.

They are filming BH right now. Ayda Field (I never heard of her before) is being mentioned as a new cast member as well as Faye Resnick. Faye is the interior designer on the home that Kyle Richards and her husband purchased so Faye may be on as a friend. I think they will bring Faye on as a regular as Faye is known to the public and is willing to be out spoken. Bravo featured her in their lost footage segments. I am sure that Kyle wants Faye who would be on team Kyle.

I miss the flowers and houses of BH already.

When they film NYC and NJ is late fall and winter, they show seems so dark. I like sunshine and lollypops, rainbows and gummy bears.

Q…having a Kelly moment

• error404 says:

He likes to clean his cars and then he calls me down to show me how clean they are. He orders stuff like covers for bugs that you strap on the front of a car and laughs because they call it a bra.

We could have how you should react when a fashion designer gives you a seat behing Ramona Singer after you bought his dress for the event. We could have the rules for private email that you save for three months and play to your psychic on national TV so that your psychic can agree that your ex BFF is a very sick person and she needs psychic help asap.

We could self publish and keep the books in my barn.

Bravo will love the free advertising.

50. WindyCityWondering says:

Well Jill has everything in place to have a fabulous season – or so she thinks… Bravo/Andy was smart to put her on WWHL first (sure she has been pestering him and calling in) and get her out of the way.
Frankly, not interested in hearing her foghorn voice, seeing her fugly dog or listening to her shill her moldy book, nasty linen line or couture girdles….do we know if there is another guest?

51. quincyil says:

I can’t imagine how high Jill Zarin’s heels are in that top photo of this blog. She is 5ft 6in and Alex is 5ft 8 in, but Jill looks taller than Alex and Alex wears 4 or 5 inch heels all of the time. I think Jill got the memo that she looks short in the group photos and bought shoes with 9 in heels. In that photo, she could not feel her toes which are really mishapen from decades in really high heels. I don’t know if surgeons can fix toes like that. She must be in agony in those shoes.

• error404 says:

her heels do appear to be higher than everyone’s but Cindy’s. LuAnn and Cindy look great. Everyone else looks like they are trying to get on “What Not to Wear”. Jill and Alex need fashion help, but Kiki’s look is just a cry for help. Professional mental health help. Style Icon my ass, she looks like a reject from Shutter Island.

• OneMoreInBoston says:

I think Jill looks nice in this picture. And I agree I don’t like Alex’s outfit but she looks beautiful and radiantly happy. She seems to be blossoming.

Cindy Not BarStop is a fashion nightmare. Everything I’ve seen her in has such a low waistline, that each garment of clothing looks like it is just about ready to fall off of her. Low riders much?

Kiki’s dress probably looked good on a hanger.

p.s- I had to wear 3″+ heels as job requirement when I was a makeup artist, on marble floors, for 8-9 hrs. per day. My feet are in pretty good shape because I always varied the height. I am the same age as Jill, so her feet may be ok. She seems to be able to walk fine in them too, not that prancing walk so many women get when they don’t wear heels a lot.

• error404 says:

This is all of course JMHO.

Cindy’s top is a nice neutral that doesn’t distract form her face but compliments her coloring. Her skirt has color and pattern that gives the out Red Carpet interest and saves the outfit from being missed, and little touches like the pop she gets form the orange ring are RC “do”s.

LoAnn’s pinstripe brings interest especially how it highlights the folds of the dress and it’s detail.

Jill’s dress is suffering from schizophrenia. It’s Dowager fabric on an ingenue dress pattern. Jill is neither grandma nor debutant, so it’s just all wrong on her on every level, besides being an ugly dress in and of itself.

The one thing Jill did get right is exactly what Alex got wrong. Jill’s dress has color and pattern, requirement for RC success. Alex’s look is fine for a regular person doing regular things, but the color and the subtlety of the detailing makes it just disappear on the RC. The boots were a RC don’t and the bag is all wrong, too big, too matchy-matchy, etc… a small colorful beaded clutch would have done wonders to get her that pop.

Kiki has a real talent for picking dresses that all all wrong for her body type. She is bar none at least 20 years too old for this look. Probably more. And while everything about her look is from the 70s, it’s all mismatched. The hair is 1970 hippy flower power. The dress is 1972 Lori Partridge ingenue. The shoes are 1978 Donna Summer disco slut. The high collar and the long hair in particular clash badly.

All IMHO of course. 😛

• OneMoreInBoston says:

oh kelly- it’s so 1977

• Kukulet says:

I agree with you on all counts. I also like Cindy’s skirt-it’s pretty and the length is flirty without overdoing it.

For an ex-model, Kelly sure doesn’t know how to pose gracefully. She continually throws her shoulders back and cocks a hip, which emphasizes the width of her linebacker shoulders and plays up the mannishness of her figure. It’s such a stilted, stiff pose. Bet she drove photogs crazy in her modeling days.

LuAnn, on the other hand, does know how to pose gracefully. She’s boring, but at least she can handle that much.

54. There was a little blurb about Jill in Gatecrasher this morning. At least she is planting boring stories about herself in Gatecrasher instead of planting nasty items about her castmates. LOL
_____________________________________________________________
Jill Zarin is one lucky lady. A source tells us the reality star experienced genuine anxiety when she misplaced a pricey diamond bracelet at the 2011 Bravo Upfront party on Wednesday. Zarin, who joined her “Real Housewives of New York City” castmates at a Mercer Street loft in Soho, noticed the “huge, all-diamond bracelet” had slipped from her wrist at the beginning of the party, and according to our insider, “everyone began frantically looking for it.” It wasn’t until right before a crestfallen Zarin was about to depart that a fellow female guest found the bauble lying on a table and returned it to the grateful redhead.

http://www.nydailynews.com/gossip/2011/04/03/2011-04-03_real_housewives_of_new_york_city_star_jill_zarin_lucks_out_when_fellow_partygoer.html

• Kukulet says:

You’d think Jill would come up with a better story to plant, because this one is beyond dumb. She never learns, she just gets stupider.

So…a heavy “huge, all diamond” bracelet falls off her wrist and she doesn’t notice that immediately? The sudden loss of weight on her wrist didn’t tip her off? I don’t have diamond bracelets, but I notice right away when my cheapie ones fall off.

(Notice how Jill couldn’t resist emphasizing that the bracelet was “all diamond”-I wonder how many blow jobs Bawby got for that one?)

Then “everyone” is searching around “frantically” for this bracelet for apparently quite some time. Yet, the “huge, all diamond” bracelet just happened to be “lying on a table”…and no one noticed it in the midst of all this frantic searching? Was this a benefit for blind socialites?

“Crestfallen”? Puh-leeze. She must have been using her online thesaurus for that, as an alternative to “raging, obnoxious shrew”. Everyone knows if Jill really lost a “huge, all diamond” bracelet somewhere, she’d be more than “crestfallen”. She’d be carrying on and shouting how she’d never forgive anyone for failing to locate her “lost” diamond bracelet.

Get real, Jill. Seriously. Try being real for at least five minutes. Bet you can’t.

http://tomandlorenzo2.blogspot.com/2011/04/izaac-mizrahi-does-bridal.html

I can’t imagine anyone buying a wedding dress without trying it on first! We’ll maybe LuAnn… there’s a one shouldered one that looks like almost everything she wears, so maybe it’s a given that she’ll look good in it. LOL

• quincyil says:

The dresses were nice. I bet the Countess will wear white from Vera Wang.

• Kukulet says:

The dresses are nice…but I don’t see one among them that is so extraordinary, I would buy it without seeing it in person first, or trying it on. They’re actually kind of mundane, as wedding gowns go.

A wedding dress is a unique purchase. It’s the one garment most women would agree they absolutely need to try on to know if it works for them. You don’t get that particular vibe from an online photo. I think Mizrahi is underestimating women with this idea.

• WindyCityWondering says:

Jill would ask for the Ben Weiner discount.

• California35 says:

I used to work in a Bridal store back in my High School/College days. The store owner only had a few dresses on display, but everything else was on a book order. The customers would order the dress from her after get got the measurements, then she will have her seamstress fix the dress to fit the bride perfectly. That is one of the reasons why brides need to start gown shopping like a year before the wedding because they will have to find “the dress”, then wait months for it to come to the store, then months for fitting and fixing. I guess now that anyone can just order a dress from the catalog or website, and then take the dress to a seamstress. I am with you … I would like to try the dress, feel it, see it on me THEN buy it. Not buy it and THEN do the rest.

56. California35 says:

Happy Sunday!
I am only about 1/2 on the comments, but I don’t want to forget what I want to say….so here it goes 🙂

Vilvet – Sorry you missed Bethenny, I hope I don’t run the same luck when she comes to California. I live in South California, about an hour from LA, but who knows with the traffic during the week after work hours. I have been worried that when she comes, she will probably go to LA and I will not be able to go or have to struggle to get there.

SusieQ – Thanks for sharing your experience. Again, I am concern that it will be difficult to go see her when she comes to CA, but I will try. I have thought about how popular and how many fans she must have by now, and how that will make her rush through interview, girl night outs, signings, etc. She won’t be able to be more personable. They way you describe the singing, I now think that if I want her to sign a book for me, I will probably ask on the link she is telling people to go to. If I want to see her, to just go see her and not expect to talk to her so that I am not disappointed if I don’t get a chance. I am actually a bit shy and will probably not say anything other than…ahh mmh da daah bla ba… lol

Marcy and Lynn – you guys said that BBB under Jill’s house have her bedding line on the back of the store. If she can’t get them who are in her territory, UNDER HER HOUSE even??!!! Then what does that say about her?

Nancy – I LOVE the idea of having B make T-shirts with her one liners :-). T-shirts, tote-bags, water bottles,…… 🙂

Others – I agree that B is calculating in business. She has to. She has been trying for a while, to not be broke, to build a business, to brand herself. I don’t think she was calculating on friendships, although she does say in her book that our goal should always be in our mind and every encounter could lead to your goal. Still, when it comes to friendship, I don’t think she was calculating. Jill on the other hand, I can see it. Jill talks about how B used her, but many of us have seen that it was the other way around. B had potential and drive to succeed. J hold on to B, but when she was not included on the fame and opportunities, she turn on B. As Error said, we all have had friendships on when we had to leave people behind on our plans, or we were the ones left aside from our friend’s plans. We can not hold that against them, we can be happy for them and continue our own thing. If its a good friendship, we can continue to be friends, just not as close or can’t see each other as often, but can still be happy for them (or hope they are for us). Jill didn’t see it that way, and that is why B doesn’t want her in her life (that and because she turn on her really bad). I kept thinking that it was too bad that they let their friendship go that bad, but now that I know more and I see how Jill is, I know that the friendship wasn’t a real friendship so I don’t feel as bad about it.

57. California35 says:

On another note Kelly and Jill will be on the View next week? Both of them on the same day? I got to go read more.

Kukulet – You described what I have been on my mind since I heard Kelly will be back this season…I still don’t get it, I still don’t want it, I still whine about it 😛
Kukulet
“Why oh why did they bring Kelly back? It’s bad enough that Jill Zarin is a mean, unconscionable, vindictive, whiny, self important, self obsessed shrew without one redeeming feature. It’s bad enough that Luanne DeLesseps is so boring that watching her is like watching a lizard sunning itself on a rock in the middle of nowhere. But Kelly? Not only mean, vindictive, self absorbed, inane, ridiculous, and dim witted, but also NUTS. Bonkers. Creepy. To the point that watching her makes everyone’s flesh crawl.

Out of all of them, Kelly appears to have some serious mental issues. She’s narcissistic as hell, for one thing, and her behavior often borders on schizophrenic. I can’t imagine that Bravo is doing this chick any favors by keeping her on the show. She’s not entertaining, she’s creepy.”

• alicia says:

If she is so hot why dosen’t she have a boyfriend? It also seems like alot of her actions (like working out on the elliptical) are geared towards endorsements. Gatorade, propel, etc. But none have been offered because she is batshit crazy. I feel sorry for the other four women who took that trip with her. I seriously would have been tempted to push her overboard!!

• Adgirl says:

I think Bethenny has the unique ability to bring out the cray in Kelly.

Kelly is not jealous of the other RHNY women – she belives she is the hottest HW and has the most famous friends. Bethenny competed in Kelly’s territory and basically told her to F-off.
That all infuriated Kelly until she was launched into outer space.

58. WindyCityWondering says:

Watching NY Reunion – Jill really sealed her fate! How she thinks she can redeem herself when she can’t keep her lies straight?! When her lies are exposed she acts so offended. She is so forgiving of her own actions/words but everyone else has to pay and pay and pay! Her viciousness towards Alex is unbridled and so unwarranted and well, just plain Kelly creepy….

59. Nancy says:

Hi California,
Glad to see you’re talking to me again (ha ha). I have a few ideas for Bethenny. I wonder how I can get a hold of her. Anybody know? You know the stupid games Andy plays on WWHL…he should have flash cards with Bethenny’s one liner’s and the guest has to say who that one liner was directed at. This idea could also be on greeting cards. I would like to include the IHZJ somehow. It would put Jill over the edge though.
When Bethanny has her book tour in different cities Lynn’s hall monitors
(aka us bloggers) would go with our B. One liner T-shirts on with water bottles in tow. Who ever lives in the area that Bethenny is going to be at will be that cities
Hall Monitor. We could also do Jill’s one liner’s (that are anything but funny).
“I am who I am” “I’m sorry” “I shouldn’t have said that” “She has the body of a model but not the face” “It look like she’s channeling the devil”
“You know Bethenny, we ARE done” “His throat was cut from ear to ear. ” I got a hobby and it doesn’t include you” and my personal favorite…”Everyone here knows that I’m their biggest cheerleaders”
Please feel free to add your own.

• California35 says:

lol you are miking me laugh so hard my boyfriend is asking me why am I laughing.

I like all those one liners “I don’t have my notes”,”I don’t want to do this”, “Bobby put a roof over your head”.

I never was not talking to you … by the way 🙂

• California35 says:

B says that she reads what fans tell her. Either she or Julie or other assistant might be reading our suggestions here, she also has a FB and Twitter account. I am one of her fans on FB. Many people make basic comments, like that they love her, or that she is funny, or that they wish her the best, etc…but some do write to her a bit more. Some have criticized too, and some answer to other cementers that B doesn’t read the comments or cares. I actually do believe she reads them. I believe that she does care because it helps her know what her fans want, and therefore give her more success. Like that time she was asking us to vote on the tour bus that she should use. Later that was the bus she used.

• Adgirl says:

ROFL. I want Andy to flash card Jill this Thursday and have every single flash card be an insult to Jill.

Customer: “Well, I’m not happy with it.”

Me: “I see. Why exactly is that?”

Customer: “There is a manufacturing fault.”

Me: “What is the fault, sir?”

Customer: “I’m not happy!”

Me: “I understand that, sir. What is the fault with the sofa?”

Customer: “Well, I’m not happy!”

Me: “With all due respect, ‘I’m not happy’ is not a manufacturing fault.”

Customer: “Of course it is. It’s manufactured to make me happy! This sofa is not fit for purpose!”

Me: “Can you sit on the sofa?”

Customer: “Of course I can!”

Me: “Then it is fit for purpose, sir.”

Customer: “But I am not happy! There must be a manufacturing fault to make me not happy with it!”

She really does. And she likes to blame it on the viewers-that what we are seeing isn’t “real”, just put on and ‘edited’ for television.

What always sticks with me is the fact that Bethenny Frankel, who even her detractors note is smart and savvy and not a dim bulb, and who has actually spent time with Looney Tunes, defines Kelly as having “severe emotional and mental problems”. Bethenny has also explained several times that what viewers saw on Scary Island was only the tip of the iceberg-and the look of horror in the eyes of the other women at that dinner wasn’t fake. (Also, the “unseen footage” of Ramona working out with Kelly? Kelly was ranting nonsensically in a way that just screamed schizophrenic.)

I trust Bethenny’s assessment of Kelly much further than any of Kelly’s contradictory gibberish about herself.

Kelly is schizo. Bravo should be ashamed for asking her back, because they know it. They aren’t ashamed, but they should be. Continually exposing someone that mentally unstable for ratings borders on criminal.

• HD says:

I have watched Reality TV for years and the look on their faces was beyond real. They could not have made that up. Even watching Kelly (yes I did find it funny and sadly I still do sorry) tripped me out. She actually was having a break down on TV and she thought she was normal. Anyone could tell she was losing it. It was unbelievable to watch.

Bravo has to know this woman is crazy.

• California35 says:

Even on the reunion, she looks and acts add. Everyone was sick of her also. Jill was giving her directions under her breath, as if she could control her. That was weird, Jill all of the sudden her savior.

• California35 says:

Andy “you contradict your self”
Kelly “yes, I do all the time”

after all the bla bla bla she says “see when I am able to speak, is perfect” aaaahhh!!! It is funny to see everyone’s face as they hear Kelly.

• HD says:

Right! When she said “when I am able to speak it comes out perfect.” I thought woman are you nuts. No one understands anything that you are saying. It’s like you ask her how’s the weather and she says, “I love beer.” Everyone looks at her with that Scooby Doo look.

• Kukulet says:

I don’t know if I found it ‘funny’ as much as ‘fascinating’ – watching someone come unglued like that has a certain macabre fascination. I couldn’t look away even while I was horrified by it.

But have to say, while I found that episode fascinating to watch , that doesn’t mean I want to continue to watch more of this unhinged personality. I don’t want to see car accidents repeatedly, either. In the end, I feel bad for her kids and her family, especially her kids. (I’d feel worse for Kelly, but she’s got such an awful, vapid personality on top of the mental issues, it’s impossible to feel much sympathy for her.)

Bravo needed to say “Enough” instead of “Let’s do more”.

• OneMoreInBoston says:

At first I thought it was funny. Then I thought it was fascinating. Then I thought it was very, very sad.
Now I think it’s a f*cking travesty that Bravo is making money off this mentally ill woman.

• BlueSky_Forever says:

That’s when I found this blog….it was so disturbing watching the Scary Island episode it made me want to reach out & discuss what was happening (no one watches Bravo in my real life).
It was so disturbing that it took days for me to stop feeling awful. What we saw was a breakdown. Thank God Sonja was there to get the others to stop piling on Kelly. Drunk Sonja realized they were dealing with a mentally ill person. She protected Kelly from the others. I still am not impressed with Bethenny, Ramona & Alex as far as their sense of compassion goes. Why do they have to berate a mentally ill person? I would be kind to someone like Kelly, not beat her up. She’s nuts. What’s the point of trying to have a real conversation with her – it’s impossible. Ignore her. If everyone did, she would just go on her way. Who cares if she tweets nonsense all day. Because most people are not ignoring her, Bravo continues to exploit her. Not sure if I will watch this season. I’m pretty much sick of Bravo anyway. Kelly is dumb as well, she gets mad when she can’t understand what’s being discussed….then she thinks she is being bullied. Mentally ill & mentally deficient – great combo for Bravo to exploit! Makes me ill.

63. Powell says:

I’m sitting here watching part 2 of RHONY reunion and Jill is saying how she was so upset for three days after she was kicked off of “scary island”. How can she be so upset when “she was never really friends” with Bethenny and Alex?

• quincyil says:

She was rejected on national TV. She reject them all of the time on national tv.

Jill told Bethenny to leave the Creaky Joints fundraiser and told her many times that “we are finished.”

Jill left Sonja’s Cocktails and Couture and said she would never speak to Alex again in the front of Sonja’s house.

Yet, Jill doesn’t get the greeting she hoped for and rushes away from an island then has a crying festival.

• California35 says:

oh yeah – she wasn’t friends with her — she doesn’t even remember being friends with Bethenny now.

Also, she was so upset for three days for stopping by unannounced. What about them who had had a really bad time with Kelly and then HAD to see Jill when they were finally getting some peace.

• quincyil says:

Jill has to play the victim.

• Kukulet says:

Except she does it so badly, she makes herself into a laughingstock instead of garnering sympathy. 🙂

Jill Zaarriinn:
“When I told Bethenny ‘we’re done’, I didn’t really mean we were done. I meant we were only half done instead of well done. Like steak with a soft drink poured on it. Bethenny should’ve been able to divine that I meant one thing when I said another, and it’s obvious that we were never really friends because she failed to read my mind.

Like when I said “I really do miss you-it’s not bullshit, it’s true, I really do miss you’ while I was hugging Bethenny at the reunion, I didn’t mean that I really do miss her. I really just miss having someone to score points off of. Who else can I take in off the street and clothe and shelter like that? Besides a homeless person, but I would never take in a real homeless person, because they’re all dirty and I just had to give Bawby all kinds of sexual favors to get the apartment refinished again.

Like when I said that Kelly is completely normal, I didn’t mean that Kelly is completely normal. I meant that Kelly is completely batshit crazy, but it’s easier to score points off a batshit crazy person, so that why I let Kelly hang around, even though I have to turn her batshit crazy gibberish down to one. Well, that, and none of the other New York bitches with a modicum of real class will have anything to do with me.

See how victimized I am? It’s like Ramona not giving me and Bawby a drink of water or letting us pee when we were in St. John. Gawd, that was almost like visiting Darfur, it was so awful.”

64. California35 says:

Hey ladies and gentleman,

Will Bravo be showing NYHW first episode tonight at 11 (or whatever late time), like it did the other wives? Remember how they did that with Miami and no one knew?? I don’t remember if it did the same to OC, but now I am wondering so that if it does show NYHW we don’t miss it.

I got to go see my niece, I have not seen her since she was born.

I will be back early enough for dinner, and will check back here of course 🙂

Have a nice rest of the day.

67. Nancy says:

California,
I think I have the #1 Jill line…”I’m a size 0″
We will have to come up with a few of Kelly’s or she’ll sue us for
discrimination against the disable. I think I’ll have to go for…”Recover from what?”

What part of LA are you from? If you don’t mind me asking.

68. Nancy says:

OMG Kelly’s famous PETA line just came out.
“Peta doesn’t say don’t wear fur, they say not to abuse animals.”
This came from a “woman” that is raising 2 children.

69. Noreen says:

Off topic, but I just watched “Get it Sold” on HGTV (filmed in 2008) and Stacie Turner of RHDC was the realtor. Now back to our regularly scheduled program…I loved watching the three part reunion this afternoon. Kelly is crazy and mean. She is so vicious!

Its funny that the OC Registers comments are a bit rough & at AB’s web site the comments are a love fest! I guess you know who isn’t the only HW that censors; that’s okay, you buy the domain name, keep it updated each week, so why not, lol.

You are the Little Search Engine That Could.

dunno- I got bored after the first 45 seconds and hit the back button.

I went through all of the Real Housewives and listed their number of Twitter followers to find out who has the most. It’s not Jill Zarin, but it’s probably your second guess. http://tinyurl.com/3vzcxs6

• WindyCityWondering says:

Thanks it was interesting! Some use social media better than others and some probably don’t really care as they aren’t using it. Jill with all her unfollowing, etc doesn’t seem to get much of a response from her fan base.

• AZ Girl says:

Jill needs a shrink. If you cannot take the heat from viewers why in gods name is she on a reality show. Jill is nuts.

• Nancy says:

OMG You have just given Jill Zarin her own show.

JILL ZARIN GOES TO THERAPY!
I would watch that.

74. AZ Girl says:

@WCW and HD: Last season’s reunion re-run just makes my blood boil. It does reaffirm why we love this site and IHJZ.

• Nancy says:

AZGirl,
Wasn’t Jill disgusting. Kelly should be in a “I love me” jacket.
Bethenny looked BEAUTIFUL! What ever she weighed that day she should hold as a goal. (IMHO)

• WindyCityWondering says:

Really, after all these months – Jill’s disgusting personality just come roaring back! And Kelly….how can we watch her and not think of her behavior on and after Scary Island. Maybe it will be fun to see Cindy react to Kelly’s bizarre babblings – and they have the mother connection so Kelly will be telling her how to raise her daughters.

• AZ Girl says:

Kelly is on drugs. Nothing Kelly said made sense. Jill tried to reiterate what Kelly was saying to make is seem like she was making sense. I watched the re-run 4 months ago when it was on and I was just as furious with Jill as I am today.
It is going to take a lot of restraint to watch this new season. I am going try and find the humor in it all which will be quite a task with SHRILL and KOOKY KELLY.

• Nancy says:

I have NO DOUBT that Kelly does drugs. Viewing s3 over again I noticed how many times’s Kelly arrives late to functions and then leaves early. She always has an excuse for this. She doesn’t have a job, she really has nothing going on in her life that can explain this behavior. Why it all came to a head at St Johns was because she was out of her comfort zone. She couldn’t just leave the boat to do her drugs. She was forced to do them on the boat with everyone there. Of course she was paranoid. Wouldn’t you be?
More than one person stated that it smelled like cat pee in Kelly’s room. That is what Meth smells like. How many times did Kelly leave the other women only to reappear 5 mins later having a complete different personality? Meth addicts are very paranoid and delusional. Does this sound like Kelly to anyone? Not only is it criminal that Kelly has been asked back by Bravo but CPS should be knocking at her door. Those kids could be in danger and possibly even Bethenny.

• Kukulet says:

I don’t disagree with you-I thought of meth the second Sonja mentioned the cat pee smell, and Kelly’s behavior definitely fits. Hyper, talking constantly without really saying anything, oily skin, oily hair, constantly in motion. Even when she’s sitting still, she’s playing with her hair or jiggling a foot or something.

But I also think Kelly has mental issues. She’s extremely narcissistic, for one thing. Okay, granted, they all are to some degree, but Kelly takes it to an extreme. She’s also blind to the fact that her self image really isn’t how others view her. She believes that everyone views her as a major tastemaker, etc, etc. More significantly, she thinks that others are jealous of her, which is classic narcissism.

She also twists her delusional reality into “fact”, i.e. ‘I was systematically bullied”, etc, even when the evidence reveals the opposite. Partly due to the drug use, but also because she’s just whacked.

I also think she’s got a bad case of arrested development. Clearly immature, and during the last seasons, you could see her almost physically adopt that “I’m just a little girl” attitude with her cloying childishness. I don’t know if her marriage to a man so much older was a part of that arrested development, but I’m willing to bet it was.

• AZ Girl says:

Yes I agree. You made some really good points. Especially the “babylike” behavior. Those poor girls of her’s must really be suffering

• Nancy says:

KuKulet,
I couldn’t agree with you more. For whatever reason she is obsessed with Bethenny. Bethenny has the life Kelly wants and thats why I think of Single White Female as I view Kelly’s behavior. What we saw on Scary Island was alarming but it was nothing like what really went on. Bravo had to get her out of their for Bethenny’s safety. Bethenny isn’t on the show anymore but Kelly (and Jill) can’t stop talking about her and thats why I still fear for B’s well being. What are your thought’s on this?

75. Nancy says:

Why does (do?) Jill and her sister Lisa still call their mother “Mommy”? It’s creepy.

• Sha2000 says:

No I wouldn’t say that. It’s a personal thing for each family to decide. When my sister & I speak of our mother we always use the name “Mommy” & of course our dad, “Daddy”…we are in our 40’s like Jill & her sister. I think its nice and as I said personal for each family to decide.

• Nancy says:

Maybe I think it’s creepy because it’s coming out of their mouths?
Didn’t mean to insult you. sorry

• Noreen says:

I call my Mom “mommy” sometimes, but I wouldn’t do it on t.v. It’s too personal. And you are right, they are just creepy!

• Sha2000 says:

Oh Nancy! I didn’t feel you were insulting me, I just wanted to give my example of my sister & I using the word mommy…no need to apologize, all good!

“Real Housewives of New Jersey’s bar brawl last month in the Dominican Republic has caused the Bravo network to rethink plans for an upcoming spin-off of the show. ”

http://www.radaronline.com/exclusives/2011/04/network-rethinking-real-housewives-new-jersey-spin-source

• Sha2000 says:

Who would watch that spin-off anyway? Her sons seem nice enough, but nice alone doesn’t add up to interesting.

• Nancy says:

Isn’t it just like BRAVO to reward a family that stole money from the State of NJ. Mr Manzo should be put in jail.

• WindyCityWondering says:

Who would really want to watch those boys? Seriously, the stint with Patty on MM should have clued Bravo in – boring mama’s boys! A bar fight is probably the most manly thing either of them has ever done.

• OneMoreInBoston says:

why does this seem like such bullshit to me?

More like Bravo ran some prelimnary numbers- they looked bad , so they pulled the plug on the showand tried to spin this like they are committed to less violence on their network

• HD says:

I never thought of that OMIB. I have no clue why they would want to do a show with those brothers. They are HIGHLY boring. Nothing is wrong with them, they are just good normal kids and while that is GREAT that does not make a good reality show. It just doesn’t. Who wants to watch them throw ham at one another, date women “for the show”, watch their Mom ironing the apron strings she she has tied to them, etc, etc. I would pass on watching this if it aired.

• error404 says:

I don’t think Bravo ever gave a thought to any show involving these two. This show was real in the same way Teressa being on DWTS was real.
“They decided they should hold off on the spin-off until things cool down,” said a production insider.

Last December, RadarOnline.com reported that Caroline Manzo’s sons Chris and Albie had been offered their own reality show about their bachelor lifestyle; the spin-off was to showcase the boys independence after their big move from the family mansion to a bachelor pad in Hoboken, New Jersey.
let me translate:

Last December, RadarOnline.com reported that Caroline Manzo said her sons Chris and Albie had been offered their own reality show about their bachelor lifestyle; the spin-off was to showcase the boys independence after their big move from the family mansion to a bachelor pad in Hoboken, New Jersey.

• Nancy says:

Why did you exclude Kelly? Not enough time right?

• OneMoreInBoston says:

Great blog, Lynn.

And I’m wondering too- do you not think that Kelly should’ve been fired for Scary Island?

Although her behavior wasn’t illegal- and really the only person who she truly hurt was herself.

• WindyCityWondering says:

The producer had to escort her home so she disrupted filming and IIRC some ladies slept with their doors locked (safety issue).

77. HD says:

Does anyone feel like chatting during the show?

• OneMoreInBoston says:

HD honey- I know that you have your heart in the right place, and have nothing but the best of intentions, but when you set up a chat room OFF of this site, then ask other posters to go OFF of this site, then Lynn loses out on hits to her blog.

As I’m sure you know -a bloggers hits are crucial to build up their visibility. The kind of visibility that makes reality “star’s” husbands like Simon want to come here and post.

When you set up an offsite chat room, you are depriving Lynn of hits in the short term ,and in the long term, you are depriving all of us with the perks and fun that come with higher visibility.

I’m sure that’s not your intention.

Just trying to understand-what is it that a chat site provides you that you can not find here?

• HD says:

I do not see how Lynn loses hits here if you talk in a chatroom because I am NOT posting on the board anyway. So how would she lose hits?

Whatever… I am not in the mood to type something long and drawn out.

• Nancy says:

I second this.

• Nancy says:

I don’t 2nd HD
I do 2nd OneMoreInBoston

• HD says:

It was simply a thought and something we did one time. I don’t post comments during the show (besides now) I post on Facebook because it is in real time as the show is going on. I would NOT discuss the show here because I don’t know who is on what coast, etc and may not have seen it yet so I never say anything so I don’t post anyway! I don’t want to give the show away.

We never have to do it again and I won’t mention it again. It is the mentioning of my intentions that have taken me to an entirely different level of being upset. I am not even a person to try to undermine what someone is doing let alone Lynn of all people. That is completely insane. That is not even within the scope of my personality. OMIB you never have to questions my intentions on anything if it is in regards undermining anyone. That is not even me and is not something I have EVER done in my lifetime.

• OneMoreInBoston says:

HD- I know it’s not your intention to undermine Lynn.
I am not questioning your intentions. Re read what I wrote:
“I know that you have your heart in the right place, and have nothing but the best of intentions…I’m sure that’s not your intention.”

I am, however, questioning your actions.

While YOU may not be posting on the IHJZ site so Lynn is not losing any hits from YOU- by setting up a chat room, and then coming onto the IHJZ site to ask Lynn’s posters to join you, you are inadvertedly taking hits away from her site.

So your ACTIONS are indirectly undermining the hits that IHJZ site gets.

I’m KNOW that is not your intentions, but what is that saying? The road to hell is paved with good intentions?

I like you and have always gotten along with you.

I don’t think you mean to hurt or undermine Lynn but IMHO by setting up a chat room, and then coming onto this site to invite people onto that separate chat room site, you are setting up a direct competition to Lynn.

• HD says:

Well thank goodness we did it late at night during the RERUNS of NYC and I think there was about five of us. I don’t think that hurt Lynn’s blog visits in anway. It was the regulars who are always here and continue to come to this site and post so I don’t think they hurt her numbers at all which of course would never be my intention at all. “Competition” Laughable.

I am not even really sure what to say to you OMIB. We will leave it at that.

• BlueSky_Forever says:

Hi HD, it was fun to go to that chat room with everyone posting in real time. It felt like we were having a great conversation! It would be hard to do it while the show is on, because I am too slow for that lol! Maybe during commercials or right after the show? If you set it up, I’ll be there. It won’t hurt Lynn. Having an online chat is totally different from Lynn’s blog…it’s fast & furious whereas on the blog here, we take longer to think through what we post (sometimes haha!) so it won’t deter me from posting on Lynn’s blog. OMIB wasn’t in on the online chat, so she really doesn’t know what she’s talking about IMO. It won’t hurt Lynn, we will still all be here to post our opinions which take longer to type. There are other online chats like “talk bubble” that go on, but it’s so much more fun to chat with the people that we “know” plus if the group is too big, it just doesn’t work. I’m in!

• OneMoreInBoston says:

“she really doesn’t know what she’s talking about IMO”

BlueSky_Forever –
When I am a guest on someone’s blog I would never be rude enough to use that blog to recruit people for another chat room.

No matter if I believed it hurt my hostess or not, I just would never insult someone like that.

78. Ugh! I had to see Jill’s mug on Celebrity Apprentice. 😦

79. error404 says:

I once saw a bunch of Furio’s work in a gallery near my house, and he is really really good.

80. I was surprised that Jill only donated $500 on Celebrity Apprentice. She just had to donate $500 to get her mug on network television. 😦

• BambiBaby22 says:

I know, right? A whole $500….big deal. A guitar went for nearly half a million.
And it cracked me up the way Jill agreed to the $500 like she was doing such a great thing. She should have at least offered $1000 for it.
I am sure Jill thought she would look good donating money, but she just looks like a cheap skate!

• I am really surprised because even though I don’t like Jill, I thought that she was generous when it came to charity. I was wrong.

• OneMoreInBoston says:

She may be generous with Bobby’s money – but this may be “her” money, so not so much.

• quincyil says:

I think she she did not want to give the five thousand to her own charity. Jill thought that raising $100 thousand was enough, but Ramona pushed her to donate and gave the same amount. At the last minute, Jill was not going to give unless Ramona had given.

Look at what Jill is doing with the sale of her excess fashions. Linda’s Stuff flyer said that it was all going to charity, but Jill did not follow Ebay rules for charity. She took the money and will give a portion to charity according to her own twitter.

I think Jill pays entry to a lot of events, but those are parties where she buys or is gifted designer fashions and she had her hair and makeup done for step and repeat.

Then…there is the all expense trip to Chicago from Dina or Dina’s charity that Jill tweeted she had to turn down.

When Jill came to Chicago for the Jewish Charity, she and Lisa, her sister, tweeted about the suites being fantastic. That probably came out of the donations. Jill did not make the reservations as she was very suprised at the great suits. Plus, they had a fantastic dinner and first class plane tickets.

The celebrity charity circuit costs charities a lot of money. You may not pay them for coming, but you pay for their trip and these people don’t ride coach and stay at the Holiday Inn.

I actually think Bobby and Jill are very greedy people. They want free cupcakes for their party because they tweeted the name of a cupcake shop. They get boxes of liquor for tweeting the liquor company’s name.

I bet ordinary people living in little towns across American give a higher percentage of their income to charity than the ultra rich Bobby and Jill Zarin.

• Nancy says:

Jill had no problem accepting $20k dollars of free “Skinnygirl Margarita’s” for her own charity but had to “Go postal” on Bethenny because she had THE NERVE to have signage behind the bar.
The bar that was providing her the FREE drinks!
She makes me sick. Bobby’s no better.

• error404 says:

The Zarins are cheap. Everything about them is wholesale and calling in favors and getting freebees. In 3 seasons we never really saw them pay much for anything, and even their houses are kinda “other side of the tracks” for their locals. s2 they rented in the Hamptons, and s3 they crashed with Countless Lulu. Back in the city, they discussed the Bethenny feud over slices of pizza.

Someone needs to tell Alexis she’s not all that!

82. Sha2000 says:

Okay iPad dilemma figured out….after you swipe the photo to enter the site, theirs a tinnie tiny link that says “view standard site”. The new format looks good but doesn’t really work well for iPad, especially when viewing or leaving comments.

83. Sha2000 says:

Re: OC tonight.
How is Fernanda considered a new HW yet she has no intro and isn’t standing there holding an orange with the rest, lol?
Gretchen redesigning her ring for her mom really showed a very nice side to her.

OMG!!! Sha

THANK YOU
THANK YOU
THANK YOU
I tried it avnd it worked….was that ever there? I don’t care I just care that I was able to click on it 🙂

84. Jill and Ramona will be on WWHL on Thursday night. I’m glad that Jill won’t be on by herself.

• California35 says:

I just set upmy DVR for that and for NYHW – Darn it I didn’t want to watch that any more!!!

85. HD says:

Can someone tell me why Jill was on Celebrity Apprentice? I see she donated some money. Who called her, Nene? What was the donation for? In terms of the $500 donation how much were other donating? (Sorry I missed it as I always do…sigh.)

• Sha2000 says:

Dionne made NeNe cry, I guess she’s not so tough.

• neroes says:

The donation was for Marlee Matlin’s charity, the Starkey Hearing Foundation. They provide hearing aids for adults and children in third world countries. The women raised a whopping 1 million dollars. They sold art done by themselves and Jill bought a pink hat.

• HD says:

Goodness that’s a lot of money! The women did great! Now of course I have 50 million more questions 🙂 but I will wait for Quincy to blog about the show.

I do dislike Jill to the core but $500 for a hat is not too shabby or am I not getting it?

• Sha2000 says:

Wow, Latoya was very thoughtful.
Michael……still unbelievable that his incredible talent is gone forever.

• JKW says:

HD…it wasn’t shabby unless you saw all the other buyers /donors giving $1000 for one of crazy Gary Busey’s paintings for the charity. Marlee had 3 people give 99K ( limit on credit card ) for some things. John Rich the other team leader had someone pay 100K for his stuff. Actually when you heard the amounts given by the others it did make them look cheap. The Country and Western guys flew up on jets to support John Richs charity.

86. Sha2000 says:

OC question. At the botox party, didn’t Peggy go on and on about being a virgo? I recall her saying to Tamara that they were both virgos who were with younger men, ( I remembered hearing this because I am Virgo and my husband is three years younger too) but when she spoke with Viki she said she is an Aries…what’s the deal with that? Number one, who cares and number two why? Odd.

87. California35 says:

I was supposed to tho to sleep, but since I didn’t read the blog since this morning, it really wanted to read a bit before going to sleep. I didn’t want to sit by my commuter, so I used my touch. There I was thinking just one pore comment for like the 20th time, when I see Sha2000 about the iPad. Thank you so much for the information, I was reading the tiny little letters, and am now reading on iPad.
I made it to the end, so I must really go “go to sleep!!” 😛

88. lillybee says:

Tamra is turning out to be such a twit. I hated it when she referred to Frenanda as Charo.

• quincyil says:

I saw Charo going in to perform at the Venetian in Vegas three years ago. She looked spectacular and even though she had to get ready for her show, she stopped for tourists and possed for photos. When people mention Charo or Madonna, that should be a compliment. These are two women who made it in the music industry.

I would love to look as good as Charo.

89. California35 says:

.Wow I don’t know WHY Jill was Celebrity Apprentice!!! Does she talk?! Will she be in it a lot?! I’m surprise she didn’t tell the world about it before hand. I’m going to see this tomorrow, my BF will flip about this! there will be TWO housewives on Celebrity Apprentice, they are invading everywhere lol

On all seriousness, Bravo must be loving that two of their girls are on TV. They represent Bravo in a way. Every time the name of the shows comes out, it is advertising for them. Jill on the Sunday before the premier of NYHW, prefect.

..but, but, but…. Why her??? lol

• quincyil says:

She was on Patti Stanger’s show with Judith Regan and now this show. I think that Nene asked her to help her. Nene doesn’t have a big group of rich supporters. I see that she is with Jill in photos for the Bravo shoot.

Think about it…Nene is the center of Atlanta…and Jill is the center of NYC… I see chemistry there.

90. BaaBee Loves Kitties says:

Good morning~hope everyone is well. A little concerned about storms today.

• quincyil says:

I had great trouble with Celebrity Appentice last night. The Local NBC kept going to the weather for the tonadoes and I was worried that I would miss the important part where they announce the money and who got fired.

When it was so hot yesterday, I knew trouble was coming.

• boston02127 says:

Good morning.

Quincy, I’m glad you’re ok.

• quincyil says:

I am followed by tornadoes. When I was in CT, they had their first tornado in decades when I was visiting. I go to Disney and tornadoes hit the entire state of Florida.

I think it is something to do with my soothsayer power draw from subspace. I will try to control it with my crystals in the future.

LOL.

91. BaaBee Loves Kitties says:

Just issued a tornado watch..

92. vilzvet says:

Lovin’ Vicki’s kitchen, I would like that dark wood…that steak dinner had to be filmed end of the summer…they must have separated soon after…

• quincyil says:

They are still living in the house together. The house if for sale. realestalker has an article on this.

93. vilzvet says:

Another week where Simon has to be cringing! Was the nudity necessary?? Total sleaze.

• quincyil says:

Nasty long scars under Tamra’s fake breasts. They fixed it in the photos, but not on TV I did not think they would slice the breast like that, but I guess you need a huge cut to get those bags in.

• mariareads says:

My best friend had a double mastectomy in November. She did it for preventative reasons and is having reconstructive surgery. She has spacers and temporary implants that are being replaced this week. She told me that the the implants will be put in through the cuts under her breasts and that would match up with the scars on Tamra’s breasts. I just don’t get the big breast hoopla at OC. They all have implants and if you ask me most of them look ridiculous.

• Nancy says:

She had a breast lift along with the implants. Thats why the scars are so visible. The standard question with this surgery is…
“Do you want to look better with your clothes on or off?”

• Nancy says:

With a lift not only are the scars (moon shaped) under the breast but there’s a vertical line that goes to the nipple. Go back and look at Tamera’s again & you’ll see it. It’s a trade off. Once again, do you want to look better in clothes or not. For once Tamera picked IN CLOTHES.
