I Hate Jill Zarin   Celebrity Apprentice & Real Housewives of Orange County & Watch What Happens Live

Real Housewives of Orange County

Tonight’s episode continues as we are all trying to find some redeeming qualities in these women!  The majority of the episode was all about Alexis’s Rest and Relaxation party including champaign, food, massages and Botox.  (Botox didn’t look very relaxing)  Not exactly an original idea but it did get all of the ladies together for the first time as it was intended to do.

The new Housewife, Peggy quickly became just another blonde Orange County Housewife, she is interchangeable with any of the others.  She used to be a model, she is having her breasts done…again.  She is holistic, she’s into astrology, organic and all natural and whatever else but don’t you dare question her putting fake boobs in her body.

What mother doesn’t think that her kids are so beautiful that they should be modeling?  Peggy, as an ex-model should know that it takes a lot more than just a cute kid.  Her children didn’t listen to a word she said, were uncooperative and misbehaved throughout their “audition”.  Peggy mentioned more than once that she would be returning to modeling soon.

Similar to Kyle Richards telling viewers that she is going to be getting back to acting now that she’s had her children, Peggy thinks that just because she is ready to go back to work, the modeling world will be throwing jobs at her.  I think she’s going to find, like Kyle did, these are not careers that you can just walk right back into anytime you like.

It completely disgusted me to see Peggy sucking up to Vicki at Alexis’ party.  It was clear that Peggy was afraid of Vicki, it looked like a job interview and only Peggy knew the goal was to ensure she didn’t get on Vicki’s bad side.  Peggy starts with her astrology and saying she has a connection with Vicki, Vicki asked about Peggy’s friendship with Alexis and while Peggy admitted to being long-time friends with Alexis, she clearly wanted to change the subject.  It is clear Peggy has watched this show, no denying it.

Peggy told Vicki that she admires her work ethic and understands how important Vicki’s work is to her.  Gag me!  That was a disgusting display by Peggy and Alexis was right to be sickened by the whole thing.

The other new housewife, Fernanda was featured on this episode, although Bravo has taken her off the opening credits and all the promotional photographs, Fernanda had scenes tonight on her own without other housewives.  But first we see Tamra and Fernanda in their NOH8 photo shoot, it appears as though it is Tamra’s idea to go topless in the photo with her friend Fernanda.

Later in the episode Fernanda is holding a Citizenship party for herself and is very disappointed that her friend Tamra was a no-show.  She and her friends decided that Tamra should have changed her moving day to ensure she could be at Fernanda’s party.

Tamra doesn’t have time for such trivial things as Fernanda’s Citizenship party, she has a new hot man to make out with and symbolic memories of Simon to go through in her garage as her stuff gets moved from one garage to another.

Tamra mentions Simon Barney no less than four times this episode, telling us what Simon would and wouldn’t allow her to do in her life.  She is seeing a new side of her boy-toy Eddie as he seems irritated that she’s held onto her wedding gown and other items from her wedding.  Tamra goes for the dramatic affect as she carefully places her Bride and Groom glasses into the trash can and begins to cry.

Gretchen is planning a 40th anniversary party for her parents and I was actually impressed that Gretchen took her own engagement ring from her first marriage and had it re-designed to give to her mother.  It was a very selfless thing to do and four carats later she had a beautiful ring for her mom.  Gretchen could have sold the ring or had it redesigned into something for herself, I thought it was nice that she did that for her mother.

Vicki’s family dinner that should have been fun and special as it doesn’t happen all that frequently soon became awkward and icky when the family discussed Vicki’s work schedule.  Donn tells Vicki she’s never home and her daughter Briana says she comes to visit but Vicki is never there.  Vicki’s son Michael has his own schedule and apparently is out partying every night coming home after midnight.

Here I have to mention former OC Housewife Jeana Keough and a family dinner that she had with her children just before she left the show.  Vicki was quick to criticize Jeana and the way that her children treated her yet they had a lovely, fun dinner and clearly enjoyed each other’s company.  Compare to Vicki’s family dinner that was strained and awkward, I think she could learn a thing or two from Jeana about putting family first.

Alexis two hour party took place from 6pm to 8pm on a Tuesday night, still a problem for Vicki because in case you didn’t know, she works and complains of having to leave work for this party.  Come on Vicki, work smart, not hard.  Tamra picks up Vicki in a limo, and gives her beautifully wrapped gift that turns out to be pepper spray or mace.  Seriously?

Alexis’ party begins and as the guests are arriving she tells them that the Botox is on her tonight and reminds them to go easy on the Champaign if they’re planning to partake.

Vicki and Tamra arrive and as Tamra receives her relaxing massage she is confronted by Fernanda about not attending her citizenship party.  Tamra doesn’t understand why she is so upset and in true Tamra selfish style asks Fernanda if she really understands what Tamra is going through in her life.  Maybe if Tamra had spent a little less time making out with Eddie and going down memory lane with Simon she would have been had time to stop by Fernanda’s party. What the hell, Tamra’s leaving for Spain in the morning with her male lover, she doesn’t have time for her lesbian lover.

The party goes off without a hitch, Alexis tells us that Vicki apologized to her and only wants to move forward without anymore drama, Alexis wants the same until she sees Peggy brown-nosing with Vicki.  It is a bit high school but then all the housewives can be a bit high school and I admit Peggy made me ill the way she was kissing Vicki’s ass at the party.

Tamra’s mace/pepper spray remained unused in Tamra’s purse but she is sure to pull it out and let everyone know that she brought it just in case.  In case of what?  Did she expect to get mugged at a Botox party?  Tamra must have left that little bit of class that she must have somewhere back in the boxes with her memories of Simon Barney.  Last season Simon asked us what Tamra would be like if he wasn’t controlling her, now we know.

Tamra mentions her ex-husband’s negative qualities every chance she gets yet she married him and stayed married to him until the money ran out so I have very little sympathy for Tamra.

The party ends presumably at 8pm and Vicki announces she’s going back to work.  Tamra is going home to prepare for her trip to Spain.  They pry Peggy’s lips off of Vicki’s ass and they all go their separate ways, all the Orange County housewives have now met one another.

Which one kisses Vicki's ass better?

We didn’t see any interaction between Fernanda and Vicki, apparently Vicki isn’t jealous of Tamra’s lesbian relationship with Fernanda, maybe she’s working too much to notice.

Next week we follow Tamra and Eddie to Spain where Eddie freaks Tamra out by talking about having a baby.  Gretchen’s folks enjoy their 40th anniversary party that we’ve been hearing about for what feels like months.

Watch What Happens Live

Andy welcomed guests Atlanta Housewife NeNe Leakes and Top Chef Masters host Curtis Stone, both who have appeared on Celebrity Apprentice.  Both guests upbeat and funny tonight made for a fun show.  Even Andy seemed to have had plenty of Makers Mark in his system to have some fun.

Andy opens the show by talking a bit about the Orange County Housewives, Curtis and NeNe have some funny remarks to make as Andy asks about the oxymoron

that is Peggy and Alexis.  The irony of Peggy bragging about being Holistic while Alexis talks of her her Christianity, then both ladies getting fake breasts  wasn’t lost on Andy. NeNe tells us there isn’t anything in the bible about breast enhancement and had no problem with it.

Andy wanted his guests feedback on Tamra’s decision to bring mace to a Housewives party, Curtis said she wouldn’t be invited to his party’s ever again but NeNe reminded viewers how catty and horrible these women can be and thought Tamra was smart to bring mace.  I can see why NeNe would think that way.  We’ve all seen her behavior on her show.

Tonight’s poll asked whether or not Gretchen should marry Slade.  Just a few episodes in and I’m already sick of hearing about Gretchen marrying Slade.  84% of viewers felt Gretchen should not marry Slade Smiley, no surprise there.

Andy’s three obsessions were interesting questions.

First Andy asked about Fernanda and Tamra’s relationship.  Tamra jokingly tells viewers that she is an equal opportunist.  We already knew she was an opportunist, and not in a good way but her ridiculous innuendos about being a lesbian and having a sexual relationship with Fernanda is insulting and rude not only to Fernanda but to viewers.  Tamra is clearly not a lesbian and her playing with the subject and joking about Fernanda isn’t funny.

Andy’s second obsession was Peggy taking her daughter’s to a modeling agency and the disaster that ensued.  Andy then showed us Teresa Giudice’s daughter Gia’s modeling attempts that were just as  disasterous but for different reasons.

Finally, Andy’s third obsession was from Celebrity Apprentice.  Ms. Dionne Warwick called NeNe Leakes a coward as she was fired by Mr. Trump on last weeks episode.  NeNe’s only response was how much she admired Ms. Warwick and had respect for her…but NeNe’s target remains Ms. Star Jones.

NeNe was asked to play Shag/Marry/Kill with her Apprentice co-stars.  She chose to both Shag and Marry Country Singer John Rich and to Kill Star Jones.  NeNe flirted with fellow guest Curtis Stone and refused to answer any questions about her soon-to-be ex-husband Gregg Leakes.  I do give her credit for refusing to bash Gregg.

NeNe was asked about Star’s ex-husband and whether or not she had any type of relationship with him.  NeNe annoyingly answered that question with a question, “do I look like I am having a relationship with him?”.  Strange way to answer that question since it isn’t clear what she would look like if she was having a relationship with Al but she added that she was sick of answering that question.  Maybe if she answered it with a simple “NO!” instead of with another question, the matter would be put to rest.

Another silly game as Andy pretends to be Donald Trump, complete with a wig and asks both Curtis and NeNe stupid questions, Curtis wins, NeNe is fired.  If only wishing made it so…

Thursday night on WWHL Andy Cohen welcomes Ramona Singer and Jill Zarin immediately following the long awaited premier of The Real Housewives of New York.  All I can say is after Bravo made us wait so long, this better be good.

The Celebrity Apprentice By Quincy IL

The Challenge this week was to create art and to hold an opening at an art gallery to raise money for charity.  Marlee Matelin and John Rich were chosen as team leaders.

John Rich was confident that his friends from Nashville would travel to NYC for the event.  He urged his team mates to make their calls and find other donors.   Marlee Matelin also knew philanthropists who would donate large sums of money for the art.

Marlee asked La Toya Jackson if she had something from her family that might be donated and sold to help in this fundraiser.  La Toya had a tee shirt celebrating her brother, Michael Jackson.  He signed two of these tee shirts and La Toya had carried one with her for months. She donated it and Marlee became emotional.

Jose Conseco did not have any donations.  He went to see Mr. Trump in the middle of the night to tell Mr. Trump that his father had taken a turn for the worse in his battle against cancer.  Mr. Trump donated $25,000 to BAT, Baseball Assistance Team. This organization helps injured athletes.

Both teams make purchases of supplies at Michaels.  They buy canvases, hats, paint, and brushes. Meat Loaf is very tired and  when Gary Busey asked him if he will buy art supplies for Gary,  Meat Loaf was angry and frustrated.  Later, when setting up their work stations, Meat Loaf thinks Gary took some of his art supplies and he starts yelling and using obscenities.   John Rich steps in to calm the situation.

The women are making calls and working on projects.  Nene tells Marlee that she won’t pretend that she has a lot of big donors, but will try.  The women are quiet and discouraged as they know that John Rich has a number of wealthy Country Music Stars as close friends.

The men get to work right away and seem to enjoy the process.  Lil John is very creative.  Gary explains why he is creating his work with enthusiasm.  Richard Hatch makes no calls for donations and seems worried about selling his art.  There is a party feeling in the men’s work space.  Meat Loaf apologizes to Gary explaining that he had been to anger management classes, but he lost it due to being exhausted. Gary accepts the apology.

The plane from Nashville arrives and they show the friends of John Rich.

The men move to the gallery to set up their exhibit at 3 PM.  The women leave before 5 PM as they take time in creating the art.  The traffic affects the women and their art delivery taking 3 hours.  Mr. Trump said that he had never heard of it taking 3 hours to get downtown before.  They actually set everything up in 5 minutes and open to a small crowd who waited outside in the dark.  The men have a huge and very happy crowd pouring into their gallery.

The men are selling paintings for $5,000.  There is a $470,000 check for a signed guitar and a lot of cash donations.  A little boy with cancer comes to the event to learn that they are raising funds to help him and children like him.

Star Jones is working on the fax machine and taking in three $99,000 donations in a row.  They also are selling their art.  Jill and Bobby Zarin have come to help Nene. The buy a hat that Nene tells them starts at $500.  We see Jill look at other pieces of art, but we don’t know if she purchases anything else.

They all return to the board room feeling confident.

Lil John created the best art for the men and he would like to create more in the future.  Gary told stories to help sell his art.  Richard Hatch sold two pieces.  One of his paintings sold for $1,000. The men explain the fight between Meat Loaf and Gary Busey.  Gary states that he was calm during the confrontation.  Everyone agrees that John Rich was amazing.

The members of the women’s team compliment Marlee on her ability to raise funds. La Toya is given the award for creating the best art and received $25,000 for AIDS Project LA.

The teams raised the greatest amount of money in all of the seasons: $1,640,000. The women were shy $14,000 from making $1,000,000 so Mr. Trump gave Marlee an extra $14,000.  Her charity helps people with hearing problems.

Mr. Trump teases with the possibility of not firing anyone as he gave Jose permission to leave during the competition, but in the end, he decides to fire Richard Hatch for not raising any money.  Some of the men wanted to fire Gary Busey, but Marlee Matelin said that Gary has a creativity that the men’s team would need at some point and that Richard should be fired as he didn’t raise any money.

Richard Hatch went home and said that he appreciated the opportunity to participate in the challenges.  It seems that Richard had no one to call to donate in any of the competitions.

By Quincy~

Thanks Quincy for another great recap of Celebrity Apprentice.  Lynn~

I have a few observations about Celebrity Apprentice I’d like to throw out there.

I was so impressed by Ms. LaToya Jackson’s selfless donation of a one of a kind t-shirt autographed by her brother, the late, great Michael Jackson.  LaToya could have held onto this and used it while she was project manager or she could have simply held onto it as it was clearly so important to her, she certainly earned my adoration for that amazing act of charity.

Jill Zarin’s appearance made me want to vomit, her donation of $500 looked absolutely pathetic in comparison to the thousands that were donated by so many others.  The ladies team raised almost a million dollars but don’t forget Jill bought a hat and a few seconds of face time on prime time TV for $500…sad!  I really wish we knew who NeNe called and if Jill was the only one that agreed to show up or if NeNe didn’t call the other NY Housewives?

Meatloaf’s freak out scared the hell out of me, he always came across as so level headed and kind, I wish we hadn’t seen that.

Jose Canseco’s departure was a bit of a surprise, it was so inappropriate that Richard Hatch talked about this being a scam and Jose leaving because he thought he wouldn’t succeed at this task.  Mr. Canseco passed away shortly after Jose left Celebrity Apprentice.

http://blog.zap2it.com/pop2it/2011/04/celebrity-apprentice-after-jose-cansecos-sudden-departure.html

Kudoos to John Rich for the amazing group of Nashville artists that he brought together to raise $470k for a wonderful charity like St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and raised almost $700k overall.

I also have to give props to Marlee Matlin for her efforts, this may earn me some hate mail but I wasn’t as impressed with her Charity as some of the other celebrities.  Overall I like to see charities that help people in the United States but if you are going to help people in third world nations, I would think the priority would be life’s basic needs like food and shelter over hearing aids.  I just imagine cases of hearing aides arriving where people are literally starving to death.  Bring on the hate mail, it is how I feel.

Finally, I was glad to see Richard Hatch go rather than Gary Busey.  I never liked Hatch, in fact I was hoping he would have been sent home week one rather than David Cassidy and Gary Busey needs to stay for the entertainment value.  Although every member of the men’s team voted to fire Gary, Trump clearly wasn’t ready to let him go and sent Hatch packing.  Yeah!

In other news:

Bravo had previously put the word out that they would be doing a spin off of their wildly popular Real Housewives of New Jersey featuring Caroline Manzo’s two son’s, Albie and Chris.  These two young men were apparently in the thick of things during the brawl in The Dominican Republic and their punishment just may be Bravo pulling the plug on this project.

    Re: CA

The men stick together more than the women who turn on each other at the drop of a hat. It’s not at all true that John stepped in and defused the Meatlaof/Gary situation. In fact, he did shockingly little and if it wasn’t for Mark McGrath who almost single handedly handled the situation, it would have gotten real ugly. It was an example of how John wasn’t a good PM, but no one brought it up or suggested that John go home. Usually the losing PM is always a candidate for firing, but this time they picked on poor Gary instead, based not on this challenge where he performed just as well as most, but on the abstract concept of his future performances.

The last time the women won it was also a fund raising based challenge. Both times the just blew the men out of the water.

Trump did several really weird things that were either desperate attempts to make the show more interesting, or a way to help keep his pets on the show, or just plain sexist.

After losing 3 straight challenges, two of which were really really close with excellent performances by the women, the women win a challenge in a slam dunk, blow the men out of the water by raising almost twice as much $$$. Yet The Donald asks two weird questions.

First he asks the women permission for the men to keep their winnings. Asshole! Had they said no, they would have looked like puppy killers. Who would deny charity needed $$$. Well Trump for one, as every single week or every single season the losing team’s charity doesn’t get the money.

They he gets even weirder and ask the women for permission to not fire a guy. Asshole! When the women did an excellent job on their children’s book, where was the chance for no one to be fired then? Huh? When the women just barely lost the phone commercial after doing an excellent job, where was the chance for them all to stay then? Huh? Even stranger is that the teams are still men vs. women and there were 6 men vs. 5 women: so why ask the women coming off a brutal losing streak to continue an unfair numbers advantage? Just because Jose quit? Pfft. I’m glad they stuck up for themselves! As usual Marlee was right: this is business! If only Trump felt that way.

We had a tornado with multiple storm warnings from our local NBC during the show. I did not see the fight conclusion, but listened to their final discussion where John Rice claimed that he stepped into the fight on camera.

I also missed the moments of the decision by the women to have a man fired, but knew that was their decision from the fact that it happened.

I watched and recorded, but when the local news takes over you miss moments. It’s storm season in IL.

      • error404 says:

they all stuck to the “John handled it” story in the BR. The camera even panned to Mark while John was claiming credit. He opened his mouth to speak, but then shut it again and said nothing and the camera pulled away. Since they had yet to be announced the losers, I assumed he decided not to rock the boat.

        • quincyil says:

Thanks for that information. The IHJZ board is so important to this blog. The information that is here is incredible.

          • BlueEyedGirl says:

A comment I would like to make is to clarify what Gary Busey said in the store.. I watched over this a few times because of Meatloaf getting AS mad as he did.. But Gary said “Are getting canvases for everybody?”.. From what I saw on the screen he did not ask for anyone to buy things for him.. He just saw several canvases in Meatloaf’s carts.. And also.. Meatloaf flipped because he automatically assumed Gary stole his stuff because he couldn’t find his own.. When it was in a bag he still threw stuff around and I was completely disgusted by Meatloaf at that moment.. Mainly because he completely overreacted to everything and lied about what was said..

Just thought I would add it in here.. New to the site and I love it!!

    • Nancy says:

I think Trump did this because the season is all mapped out. Jose had to leave so there you have it. I have a question, What happens to the money that is raised from the loosing team? Do they give it back to the people who donated it?

      • BlueEyedGirl says:

No.. It is usually added onto the winning team’s amount from what I understand (this is the first season I’ve ever watched).. However, this time the losing team got to keep it and give it to their own charity..
I have to admit that even though I agree that Trump was wrong to not ever give the women this chance.. I am thrilled that St. Jude’s hospital.. My father was diagnosed with bone marrow cancer a few months ago and just a few days ago started a stem cell transplant.. It is hard enough to watch it and go through it with an adult and I could only imagine how hard it would be with a child.. I am so happy that they got such a wonderful donation as well!

What great recaps! I thought RHOC was a snooze fest. SOOOO boring. I missed CA but will watch it later this week on Bravo. I said it before and I’ll say it again. LaToya Jackson is so impressive on CA. I’m very surprised as she was given such a bad rap in the press for years and years. But her demeanor and attitude on this show are exemplary and, so far, she has my respect.

    • HD says:

      It was boring.

      • BaaBee Loves Kitties says:

Guess what? I missed them both. lol

        • HD says:

You didn’t miss anything. Botox, drinks, Vicki working, Donn looking dejected, Tamara posing for the No Hate campaign topless, Gretchen preparing for a wedding vow renewal for her parents. The biggest issue was that Tamara brough Mace to a botox party. Big whop! Who cares? Of course she is going to mention this alllllllllllll next week and make a big deal out of it like Tamara doused Gretchen in Mace or something. She really needs to get a job. Alexis is an instigator all under the guise of being a good friend and Christian. She likes to stir the pot and try to look innocent with her botoxed forehead and duck lips.

          • BaaBee Loves Kitties says:

            Thanks Hannah~you are too sweet.
I will watch in repeat & have to see when the NYC wives are supposed to be on The View which I have come to detest as well. LOL

        • @tweatcyn says:

I missed em both too. I watched a repeat of the “Body of Proof” premiere with Dana Delaney, which I missed on Thursday. I’m glad I did. Now I’m caught up for Tuesday’s new episode. It’s a good show. She’s like a Kay Scarpetta.

    • I think the whole season of RHOOC has been a snoozefest. I was looking forward to RHOOC coming back but it has been a disappointment.

    • error404 says:

La Toya has only done one impressive thing on CA thus far: When she knew the camper they were selling like the back of her hand. She’s a born salesman!

La Toya has/had a creer of her own with hit songs that most singers would dream of. You’d never know that though if you listen to her “I’m Michael’s sister, so every morning when I wake up being Michaels sister, my thoughts naturally turn to Michael and the responsibility of being Michael’s sister” blather. Give it a rest already Jackson family!

Doing something Michael-centric to raise money for charity was a no brainer. She was probably holding that shirt for when she was PM, but decided to give it up now because she was in the bottom and needed to so something big to impress the other women and stop them from throwing her under the bus every boardroom.

I can’t wait until she’s PM, as that’s the real test IMO. Nene did a shockingly good job as PM, and Lisa Rena wasn’t bad either, she was just a target. Nikki was the only one that clearly lost them the challenge with poor PM decisions.

      • quincyil says:

I am impressed with La Toya also. I never paid attention to her before, but she is very smart and seems to be a nice person.

For all of the hype, Nene seems ok in the show to me also. She doesn’t have rich friends in NYC other than the Zarins. The women in her show aren’t rich.

Thank goodness for Star and Marlee’s friends. All of that money going to help people is a great thing.

        • humbruh says:

Anyone else thought it was ironic that NeNe was the main one trying to be cheap at Sheree’s charity event then when it’s her turn to raise money she has no one to call but Jill, who spent the least amount of money compared to the other donors? Karma!

    • Nancy says:

Remember Michael Jackson’s monkey? It was his “child” for years. He dressed it, he ate at the dinner table with him, slept with him etc. As with most of the pet monkey’s when they get to big their fate is a cage or a rescue situation. This is what happened to Michael’s monkey. After Michael’s death LaToya went to visit him to let him know that Michael died. I think it was for LaToya to feel close to Michael. It was one of the most touching thing I’ve ever seen.

  4. quincyil says:

I actually don’t understand why Miaim tanked. I read the Terry Aley link from Lynn and noticed his article on spin offs and Bravo. Frankly, the women in Miami are beautiful and most are wealthy. They have nice homes and nice clothes. They had chef parties and fundraisers. They seem just like the women on the other franchises to me.

So they are vocal about how they think their looks are great. Is that any different from Luann asking the maid how she looks or Kim Z telling us she is thinner than her friends as her left breast falls out of her dress. I actually thought Lea Black was a hoot. I thought she and others were honest with each other.

How is Christy Rice any different from Gretchen Rossi or Tamra?

I would rather watch Lea Black than see Kelly Bensimon attack a pregnant girl whose father just died.

I really don’t see any differences in any of the housewives shows so I don’t know why one fails while NJ is a rating success after a man goes to the hospital in a bar fight.

I thought the interaction between the women in Miami was interesting. I loved the gallery show scenes and the artists interacting with the housewives.

Since Terry discussed Miami, the boycott must be over so I felt it should be ok for me to say what I thought about the show. I may live on the prairie, but I love the Latin culture, food and the homes. I loved listening to them speak Spanish too.

Why do New Yorkers at Bravo feel that they have the pulse of the nation? They should get out more and see the wonders of other parts of this great nation.

    • HD says:

Miami tanked because there was no drama. As much as people say they can’t stand the drama and they want everyone to get along in reality people love to watch a train wreck. Miami has no issues, no fighting, no hair pulling, table flipping, no breakout Nene, Bethanny, Danielle character. That does not make good reality TV. Every story on paper, on TV on whatever, needs some sort of conflict. Everything just can’t be roses or it will not work. I do not want to watch 5/6 women do nothing on TV but eat and shop.

      • quincyil says:

I think NY is going to have the same kind of issues this season then. Alex said there many small conflicts rather than a large fight.

I thought they went in a interesting direction when Lea Black took them to the organic farm all dressed up and they had to fight off bugs while cooking. That was light comedy rather than the dark drama of NJ and I like light comedy. I like the Lucille Ball show more than the Sopranos.

I doubt we will ever see those women after the WWHL hour long reunion, but I wouldn’t mind watching them again.

      • BaaBee Loves Kitties says:

The NYC wives aren’t on today but Intervention is. I love that show & am waiting to see Dr. Drew whom I love too is starting this week on HLN. I get tired of women shopping, eating & telling one or the other she is the best no you are no I am etc.

      • alicia says:

I enjoyed Miami because there wasn’t alot of drama. The wives were beautiful, and if they kissed their husbands at least I wasn’t repulsed. Also enjoyed recognizing different areas of Miami – my great-grandfather was an architect in the coral gables area were Lea Black lives. Mirasol was very sweet and I enjoyed her mountaintop wedding in Aspen.
My horse and I are grounded this weekend- he has a cough (allergies) and I decided it’s unfair to make him go 25 miles
with this cough. Maybe I will drive down to Miami and look for some of my ggrandfather’s old homes ? They have torn down so much there. And maybe do some shopping!!

    • error404 says:

A big reason why Miami tanked is because Bravo threw it under the bus when it’s darling RHNY faltered. There was like zero promotion, it almost just appeared by accident one day on my tv, and had I not been watching the show before it, I would have missed the premier, which was on as some really weird late late hour. It was doomed to fail, and had RHNY not tanked causing a crisis, it probably never would have aired at all.

The only reason why OC continues and Miami won’t is because OC was the first and has a core group of loyal fans. I have no doubt that OC is hemeraging viewers, but it still has a loyal core base and a special soft spot with BRavo as their “first born”. Miami’s problem is not that it was too much like OC, but too little NOT like OC. NJ, At, BH, NY… the big winners are really different and there no way someone turns on Atlanta and thinks “What’s this? RHOC?”. They could have played up the Latina angle even more IMO, and showed more of the city. Watching women watch their kids play in the yard tell me nothing about Miami, but that’s what they chose to show in the first episode, and lost me as a continued viewer.

      • quincyil says:

Miami Social went the adult route. They went to the clubs and had regular meetings at the top of the hotel in Miami Beach, but that didn’t work for Bravo either.

Beverly Hills immediately clicked. It was the location, the homes, and the people. The conflict between Camille and Kyle made that show until the shocking last episode where Kyle went after her sister.

You could see the potential for trouble between the Miami girls was ramping up in the final episodes. I bet there would have been fireworks if they had filmed for a while longer. I saw the camps forming and the battle lines being drawn, but Bravo cut them off.

      • TLM says:

I think Bravo itself felt Miami was a bomb. It apparently was one year old rather than the standard 6 months when it aired, and Andy C himself said it was “sitting on the shelf” or something to that effect when they decided to air it. He as much as called it filler, and I have to agree with him.

It’s possible that a good show can languish because of lack of promotion, but a bad show can’t really be saved with good promotion. The Housewives franchise already had a big following, so I think if Miami had been good, it would have caught fire from these loyal viewers. I just think it collapsed under the weight of all the bored viewers.

I really feel Miami painted all Latina women with a broad brush, and it wasn’t flattering. I found it insulting and I’m not even Latin. The women they chose were quite shallow (at least on the show) and seemed extraordinarily self-centered and full of themselves.

    • OneMoreInBoston says:

I don’t think it’s a NYC thing- if it were then Bravo wouldn’t have had an OC, DC or even NJ series.

I agree it’s about conflict but also about chemistry. I didn’t really see any chemistry between the Miami housewives – just random beautiful women sort of thrown together in make believe “situations” to interact. Even women that were supposedly such good friends before the show seemed like their relationships were forced and artificial.

The “drama” that they did come up with was really petty and trite. Sending a bill for tickets to a charity that wasn’t paid for? The horror of it all!

      • quincyil says:

I think Christy was bothered by the fact that it became gossip in Miami too. Lea’s people shared and Christy was ticked about that. It seems that Christy has been gossipped about in the past when she had some man in her house and her husband/ex had come to the house. Christy didn’t like sharing her laundry again with the Miami gossip mill.

      • error404 says:

the drama is always petty and trite. Jill being upset that Ramona invited LuAnn to a dinner and not her, Ramona being upset that Simon came to a girl’s night, even the Camille vs. Kyle fight was so stupid and childish, 99.9% of us would have just brushed it aside and forgotten it at the start in real life.

        It’s how they react.

The popular HWs are actually a little crazy. Kelly may be like striaght-jacket nuts, but Jill and Ramona definitely have personality disorders, and “interesting” yes, but the Richards sisters are not “normal”.

        • quincyil says:

The Richard sisters are really not normal.

Was anyone in Miami normal? LOL. Lea Black was eccentric and I thought she was trying to come up with one liners all of the time. I think she is more interesting than the Countess.

The foil in Miami was supposed to be Adriana. She was supposed to be the loose cannon. She did send a few lobs in the direction of Christy, but Christy didn’t react directly to Adriana, she did it behind her back so Adriana didn’t continue the conflict. The way Christy reacted is very normal. I see that back stabbing right here in Quincy, IL.

I thought firing your nannies and calling them turtles on national TV was absolutely outrageous and Larsa should be called on the carpet for doing that. You do not treat your employee with that kind of disrespect and I was so glad that Bravo did not show these people on television. Larsa’s conversations with her mom were terrible too. Buying that truck for a kid who did not know how to drive endagered many people, not just Larsa’s brother.

I was shocked that Larsa and Christy would say to Adriana, “Look at you…Do you know what you are worth?” That was blood curdling to me. They value everything on looks. I think at one point Larsa said something about education too. I think she said people who don’t have good looks go to school. OMG… I desperately wanted Lynn Hudson to call her out on that statement.

I did look at some reviews of the show, but the reason I am here and I read real crack house/real city housewife and some of the other links from this site, is you get real input from real people who aren’t on Bravo’s payroll or beholden to the good graces of reality stars like Jill Zarin.

      • Powell says:

        OC was first.

    • sugarmagnolia10 says:

I think it may have done better if they gave them a full season, but maybe there wasn’t enough footage for that. In only 6 episodes we didn’t really get to know them very well. And they did get together as a cast for each of the 6 episodes, but not all of them were present at a few. I think they had decided as a cooking party “theme”, if you will, but that wasn’t ever articulated to viewers. They each hosted one at their home or a restaurant, so I think it looked as though that’s all there is to do in Miami. Given more forced time together, some of them may have heated up a bit!

I think lots of New Yorkers think NYC is the end all be all….

      • quincyil says:

and… we think Chicago is the most beautiful city on Earth.

        LOL…

One city that I feel in love with was Quebec City. It was cold and snowing, but that city is fantastic. LOL.. It’s the second most beautiful city on Earth after Chicago.

    • Nancy says:

Miami was 100X’s better than DC &/or OC.

    • @tweatcyn says:

I agree. I really liked Leah, Alexia, Adriana and Marisol. Couldn’t stand Larsa or Christy. Elsa was the best part of the show. Her scenes stole the show.

    • lovemamaearth says:

Miami was mostly boring because they all seemed so superficial and were they even friends IRL? Leah could be entertaining and a bit like Luann. The “witch” was funny.

And when so many US citizens are struggling, do we really want to watch women complaining about, making fun of, and firing their nannies or some spoiled woman throwing parties or lunches and showing up an hour or two late? The best part of the series was the sunshine. jmho

  5. vilzvet says:

I opened my copy of the NY Daily News today to see Jill’s smiling face. There is no online link to this story, so here are some quotes:

At the Virgin Islands: “I was ganged up on by Alex, Bethenny and Ramona. It’s so last year and it’s so over that I don’t want to talk about it anymore…but let me tell you, it’s hard to fight three against one.” “If I say the name Bethenny, I’m gonna get yelled at. Anytime Bethenny’s name comes out of my mouth, even if just to answer an innocuous question, fans get upset and say Oh Jill, get over it.” When asked if she considered not coming back: “I asked my husband Bobby, and he said “Don’t leave”. My family felt that I wasn’t portrayed accurately, that I needed to come back. Then if I want to leave, I leave with my head held high.” Jill defends Kelly: “There is absolutely no reason for anyone to be worried about Kelly.” (Cut to Kelly making sand angels on a deserted beach.)

    • error404 says:

“I don’t want to talk about it anymore…but let me tell you,”

      ROTFLMAO!!!

OMG, thank you for the hearty Santa-style belly laugh this morning. I needed that. Oh good lordy, this fool really is the gift that just keeps on giving! She’s a danger to herself. LOL

    • AZ Girl says:

Okey dokey lets see how “high” Jill’s head is going to be after this season. As far as Kelly being o.k. what 40 year old makes sand angels on the beach.
After last night CA I am going to focus in on how many “perks” Jill benefits from on Season 4. I don’t think she and Bobby pay for anything.

      • error404 says:

s1 Jill threw a bbq in her yard. Kyle probably spent more on napkins for her white party than Jill spent on the whole thing.

s2 Jill threw a charity ball, where pretty much everything including her own dress was donated.

s3 Jill threw a skating party. She probably got the pond for free, the swag was probably free as well, since Jen was trying to be a HW she may have waived her fee too, so that pretty much leaves just the lamb chops. People actually eat/drink very little at skating parties compared to other parties where there is nothing to do but stand around and eat/drink.

        • error404 says:

btw, a skating costume like the two Jill wore can cost thousands of dollars. I wonder if some poor designer got stiffed waiting for a public credit that never came.

          • quincyil says:

I think the ladies get a lot of freebies.

The remodeling of Ramona’s condo in the UES was in season two at the same time that Jill had her redesign from Brad. Jill’s got on the show, but Ramona’s did not. The designer actually was going to take Ramona to court for the costs, but I don’t think it went that far. Ramona’s was featured in a magazine and she did not mention the designer. Later, Ramona put something out there about the designer.

They get so much free from these shows that they never want to walk away from it.

Do we think Bethenny was paying for the jewelry from geodes that came to her condo recently. No, she was borrowing for events.

I always wondered who buys the designer dress that Jill Zarin wore on the runway? I won’t pay $30,000 for a used dress. I want a discount on that for sure. LOL.

          • Nancy says:

            error,
She actually called me for dresses but I told her I didn’t have any in a size O.
I can’t believe she had the gull to come onto the ice where an actual practice session was going on and put those skaters at risk. I was so glad that coach yelled at her and it all was caught on tape. I went on the “Ask Gloria” web site and asked her if she thought she should get her money back for Jill’s ice skating lessons?
            I never got a reply.

        • Nancy says:

The lamb chop’s were donated as well but they were for Ginger. Who would order lamb chop’s for a skating party?

      • AZ Girl says:

And that whole “bullying” crap is going to be carried over into Season 4. The only thing that has got my attention so far is the transformation of Sonja. I curious if she is the “thug in a cocktail dress”.

        • quincyil says:

Online article indicate that Sonja is the thug in the cocktail dress. It seems that Sonja has issue with Alex’s behavior at an event and Alex says this after Sonja asks Alex to leave. Simon is very proud of that catch line in his twitter.

      • Nancy says:

And Jill has the nerve to call out Bethenny for getting free “stuff” for her wedding.

    • Kukulet says:

At the Virgin Islands: “I was ganged up on by Alex, Bethenny and Ramona. It’s so last year and it’s so over that I don’t want to talk about it anymore…but let me tell you, it’s hard to fight three against one.”

“Ganged up on”? Right, Jill. Bethenny didn’t say a word beyond “Hi”. Jill showed up unexpectedly, walked in with that massive self absorbed attitude, completely dissed Alex…and expected to be welcomed with open arms? Bethenny lived a block away from her in NY and Jill stomped on her like crap for months. Jill is such a complete and total moron.

“If I say the name Bethenny, I’m gonna get yelled at. Anytime Bethenny’s name comes out of my mouth, even if just to answer an innocuous question, fans get upset and say Oh Jill, get over it.”

That could be because when Jill does say Bethenny’s name, it’s always attached to some malicious comment. Why does Jill even need to mention Bethenny in any context? STFU about Bethenny already, ya dingbat.

When asked if she considered not coming back: “I asked my husband Bobby, and he said “Don’t leave”. My family felt that I wasn’t portrayed accurately, that I needed to come back. Then if I want to leave, I leave with my head held high.”

And there she goes again-putting the responsibility on her family. Remember last year, when she “broke” the news about Bethenny’s “baby boy”? That was all Ally’s fault.

Jill came back because Jill is an attention whore, but, hey, let’s all blame Bawby. (And we all know what Bawby really said was “I don’t give a shit, you freakish shrew.”)

Her head held high? Jill is such a snob, her head couldn’t get any higher than it already is. She’s practically sniffing clouds NOW.

Jill defends Kelly: “There is absolutely no reason for anyone to be worried about Kelly.” (Cut to Kelly making sand angels on a deserted beach.)

Other than Kelly being a psychotic, narcissistic, vapid, vile dimwit, you mean?

      • Christine says:

OMG, Kukulet, thank you for that. LMAO!

      • Kukulet says:

And ain’t it funny, at the first season reunion show, Jill clobbered Alex over the editing issue. “Don’t blame editing, we are who we are”…until the real Jill came to light, and now it’s “I wasn’t accurately portrayed”.

See, Jill, it isn’t that you “weren’t accurately portrayed”. You WERE portrayed accurately…that the whole point.

      • quincyil says:

I don’t think the conversation with Jill on the island was bullying or “ganging up.” Jill got the vibe that she was not wanted so she threw a hissy fit and left.

If Jill is going to say this kind of thing it negates her “sincere” apologies at the season three reunion and sets the stage for further conflict.

        • California35 says:

  6. Eve says:

I felt that Tamra calling her friend “Charo” in the interview was telling. Also, her continued references to Simon must or will be so hurtful to her children. I think she knows this but is so self-centered she can’t help herself.

    • quincyil says:

The new girl seemed really nice, but they did not make her a real housewife after all. I think they edited her out for some reason.

They showed Tamra cuddling with the boy friend when moving. She could have run over to her friends for a few minutes. Getting your citizenship is a huge deal. I remember the day that my husband became a US citizen. Our kids were so proud too.

    • HD says:

I thought it was telling as well and I did not see it as a compliment.

      • quincyil says:

Tamra meant it as an insult, but Charo is a really great person and performer. I wish Andy and others would not imply that there is something wrong about her.

        • HD says:

Yeah, I am clear nothing is wrong with Charro however I understood exactly how Tamara meant that and it is quite telling of the person that is perhaps behind her mask. Yet, it’s all good when a Latin man can bang you. GTFOH.

          • Sha2000 says:

Agree HD. It sounded to me like a nasty dig at the Hispanic/Latin population; not cool. Bet she gets some bad feedback for it.

        • Kukulet says:

Charo headlined in Vegas throughout the 70’s, took time off to run her own dinner theater in Hawaii and raise her son during the 80’s and 90’s, and is currently headlining again in Vegas and Branson, MO. Headlining a show takes stamina and talent-musical numbers, choreography, etc.

Yes, Charo has a “bimboesque” image, but it’s a deliberate, marketable image, not who she really is. And Charo put in years of hard work to build a career on it and probably still laughs all the way to the bank.

What has Tamra Barney done that is so noteworthy that it is comparable to the dedication it takes to build a decades long career as a singer/dancer? Marrying Simon…and ditching him as soon as his money ran out? Not even close, Tammy.

          • quincyil says:

I agree with you. Charro worked very hard.

I can’t imagine that people like Tamra at all this season.

            • katlg says:

I don’t. As a matter of fact, I can barley look at her, she is acting so sluty I can’t believe she has even joint custody of her children.
It sems at every turn she is proving Simon is not the person she painted him to be last season.

          • Nancy says:

If it came out of Bethenny’s mouth we’d all find it funny.

            • error404 says:

              Probably.

I think Liberace worked just as hard and was just as talented as Charo, and like Charo, I think Lee was in on the joke that was his OTT stage persona.

I didn’t see the OC episode in question, but perhaps the difference is intent. Yes, B was insulting Jill and her decor, but it seemed more playful. Posters here seem to think Tamra was being nasty. But who knows… we do all cut our favs some slack.

When B called Kelly Madonna, I knew it was an insult, but somehow I couldn’t get behind how offended Kelly still is about it, 3 years later. In the end, Kiki’s outrage kinda proved the insult correct: she needs to get over herself.

            • OneMoreInBoston says:

Except that it didn’t come out of Bethenny’s mouth.

Probably because she’s too smart to say something so derogatory.

Except as Q. pointed oit- it really isn’t that derogatory if you consider Charo’s accomplishments.

        • Noreen says:

I agree. Charro is an extremely talented classical guitarists who knew how to turn that great talent and her fabulous body into a sensational show. Tamara is just a pig.

        • @tweatcyn says:

I named my cat Charro, after Charo the entertainer, who is a very talented classical guitarist as well as smart comedianne.

    • Noreen says:

The “Charo” comment caused me to look up from my beading in disgust as well. Tamara disgusts me.

    • lovemamaearth says:

Doesn’t the “Charo” reference just mean over the top and funny? She and Dolly Parton both make fun of themselves that way

  7. Christine says:

I don’t know if Nene asked Jill to show up for the gallery show or if Jill’s OCD just forces her to arrive at anything just to promote herself. A lousy $500 basball hat for a charity! I recall when Jill had a $16,000 purse designed for herself as well as a new car for her birthday. Yes, Jill, you do have your priorities in order. Maybe, in this case it was Okay because there will a number of people who don’t get hearing aids and won’t have to listen to Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!

    • BlueSky_Forever says:

IIRC Jizz got that $16,000 purse for free. No way she forked over mega bucks for it. Not only that, the bag was hideous. Who in their right mind would pay $16,000 for a purse?? Sheesh. Jizz either gets it for free, or almost free. Then she sells (lol, somewhere in PA) her used designer duds. She could donate to charity…but hell no she sells the very same stuff that she mostly gets free!!

    • error404 says:

Jill claims to be a friend of Donald’s. Remember when she bragged to Dull Jen that her good friend was going to let her have the Wollman Rink for her party, only to have it at The Pond with no further mention of dear old Don.

I think Nene did call Jill as one of her few “celebrity” friends. The Donald does regularly confront them about being stars and not raising $$$.. Hatch being the latest example. This makes more sense to me than The Donald letting her on the show, but who knows.

      • Noreen says:

        Dull Jen – LOL!!

      • quincyil says:

If you look at sites from the Hamptons, you can see Jill Zarin in photos with the the billionaire Henry Bulh and other famous and wealthy people. Some of the dates of the photos are long before the RHNYC began. I think she always went to those parties. I think the Countess did too.

  8. HD says:

I just watched Meatloaf flip out. Why was he that upset?

    • quincyil says:

Well, they work long hours and because of production costs, they don’t have any down time. I think Gary can get on your nerves with his random thoughts too.

Gary had asked Meat loaf is Meat Loaf would buy his paints. It was odd, but noth worthy of Meat Loaf’s anger. Later, when Meatloaf could not find his bag of paints, he saw that Gary had sponges and Meatloaf had purchased sponges also so he thought Gary had take his art supplies. They found Meat Loaf’s bag later. Meat Loaf said that he had been in anger management classes before so he probably has issues. Some people have short fuses and they do their best to control them, but he is showing signs of exhaustion and lost his temper.

I think Gary and Meat Loaf are not a good match. That is why Trump likes to keep Gary there. It will generate conflict and drama.

      • HD says:

Thanks, Q. Exhaustion will do some things to you.

        • quincyil says:

I think Gary’s head injury affected him adversely. I think he is constantly saying that jibberish and constantly bothering the men. I bet they all would like Gary to be fired.

      • Sha2000 says:

Exactly Quincy! Same reason he (and or producers) left Joan Rivers, for someone that will create friction if things didn’t go her way. I do think that both MeatLoaf & Gary seem to be really nice guys and mean no harm; one just has anger issues & one is kind of like a kid and even kids wear you down over time. I have to add that the donors were ***super generous***, because although art is subjective and beauty IS in the eye of the beholder; that was some ugly “art”…the only thing that I could understand someone possibly wanting was the hat & tee from LaToya, because Michael Jackson memorabilia is well Michael Jackson memorabilia, the value will only go up. The rest…ugg! Okay you may be a Meatloaf or NeNe fan they painted that, okay it’s kind of fun like paintings done by penguins (yes penguins can paint w/there feet) because you like anything penguin or Meatloaf, but visually they may not be pleasing. Yes, it was all about the charity and that’s obviously why they bid; that’s what was great, not the artistic talent or lack of. It was good to see that Lil Jon wants to paint again; EVERYONE should paint once in awhile it’s it’s good for the soul.

        • Sha2000 says:

The OC may be the original HW franchise but IMO, it is also the most boring. The women want to be viewed as unique individuals, yet they dye, inject and alter their bodies until they all look the same! Sadly, the one brunette, Fernanda, has been marginalized and celebrating her citizenship would have been more interesting than yet another Barbie butt kissing marathon. While I understand that there is a fan base for this franchise, I wonder if BH has made a significant dent in that base….

    • BlueSky_Forever says:

Anyone still watching that smelly garbage RHOC needs a shower stat! There are so many better ways to spend your time people. Did anyone watch the new AMC show ” A Killing? ” OMG it is so good. “A Killing” looks like it’s going to be a huge hit. I’m already addicted/committed! lol

      • BlueSky_Forever says:

Celebrity Apprentice was so good, really enjoyed seeing the women win big!! So much $ raised for good causes, just made me feel happy. Trump is disgusting. I can’t stand him. So he suggests that the women let John Rich give the $ he raised to his charity, & if the men won they would let Marlee’s charity have her $. Marle & John would have done that anyway IMO. The disgusting part was when Trump was “surprised” that the women agreed to let Rich’s charity have the $ etc. Then he tried to save a man on the men’s team, noting that Jose had already gone home. Wait a go Marlee, you are smart! She made the men fire someone, & she gave a hand in saving Busey!! It was good tv. Loved seeing Hatch go home & now he’s back in prison.

      • BlueSky_Forever says:

        Exactly!!!

      • WindyCityWondering says:

Excellent question Quincy, likely the Guidice mess is more complicated and will take more time to untangle – have faith, they will eventually get their prison vacations!

      • Noreen says:

I was just thinking the same thing. And even worse why aren’t some of the wall street tycoons and bank ceo’s who caused the foreclosure crisis and banking crisis in jail. Give Hatch a job so he can start paying some money back.

  11. WindyCityWondering says:

Bravo Andy needs to pair guests better – when they come from very different shows the conversations don’t flow smoothly. Curtis is the new Bravo darling and I wanted to know more about him. NeNe, like Danielle, answers questions in an annoying non answering way – and has a hard time when she is not the center of attention. And the games have to stop – they are not funny! Andy should go back to Mazel/Jackhole and confine whatever three things are on his mind to his blog and keep his poll questions relevent to his guests – like who is hotter – Curtis or NeNe…. WWHL is now like Millionaire Matchmaker – more misses than hits.

    • BlueSky_Forever says:

good points all Windy. Not liking Andy these days. Did you catch him on Live! with Kelly? He was auditioning & he totally bombed! Maybe because there was no booze lol. It was weeks ago & there is no way he’s getting that job.

      • vilzvet says:

Curtis had a very popular show on TLC for about 3 years, “Take Home Chef.” My cousin turned me on to it. He would stroll into a Whole Foods or some other large grocery store, camera crew in tow, and surprise a female shopper with the invitation to go home with her after some food shopping to prepare a gourmet meal for whomever she was making a meal for that night. Great show!! It was always fascinating to see what type of kitchen the “winner” had, I must say most of the time they had awesome ones that Curtis could run wild in. It stopped 3 years ago, I suspect because he was way too recognizable at that point and I’m sure women were spending their days at Whole Foods waiting for Curtis to show up! Most of the time it was a California store.

    • @tweatcyn says:

I’m so DONE with WWHL. It is assinine. Andy thinks he’s a celebrity himself, and that we are interested in his obsessions and stupid antics. NOT

  12. VAgirl says:

Way OT, but does it bother anyone except me that people are spending their hard earned money to see the train wreck that is Charlie Sheen? I know we are watching the train wrecks known as the Housewives, but that’s free and we are not actually getting dressed and going out and making an effort to see an obviously damaged (drug or mentally ill or whatever) person rant on stage. Are people actually entertained by that? At least you sometimes see redeeming qualities in some of the housewives, but Charlie Sheen. Come on. Just felt compelled to mention it.

    • BlueSky_Forever says:

New Yorkers are getting the $140 tickets for $40…Sheen bombed in Detroit but somehow got a standing ovation in Chicago. You couldn’t pay me to see that show.

      • WindyCityWondering says:

Chicago morning news gave him a so so (fan reaction), his interview was lame but it was pointed out that for a mere $10,000 you could have a personal one on one with him – don’t know if there were any takers on that! He wants to come back to Two and a Half Men….wonder how the rest of the cast feels about that.

    • Kukulet says:

The best thing that could happen to Charlie Sheen would be for everyone to ignore him. Everyone. Then he might actually try getting some help.

I told my daughter last week, when her kids had cabin fever and were driving her nuts, that she should stop and consider how Martin Sheen feels right now. That gave her a better perspective. 😉

      • BlueSky_Forever says:

lol, agree with you but ignoring him doesn’t work as there are too many people out there that just want to watch him crash & burn. Just like Kelly – she would fade before our eyes if everyone would just put her on permanent ignore. I have…I don’t get upset with what she does anymore because it’s so pathetic. Sadly too many people are enjoying her stupid antics & so Bravo keeps her on the show. What grinds me is Charlie Sheen should be rotting in jail, in rehab or at least admitting his faults. Instead…he’s on tour with a “show.” Go figure.

    • HD says:

What baffles me is why people thought he would be funny? He said a few catch phrases and people jumped on his wagon. Now they are booing him. Hosanna one day, crucify the next. He should have sold a few winning T-shirts and worked on staying sober. Truly sober. I don’t care how many test he takes, his mentally is still that of an addict.

    • Nancy says:

What is the difference between Charlie and Kelly? Bravo is making money on Kelly’s breakdown.

  13. Kukulet says:

All Jill shelled out was $500? For a reputable charity? Wow. I knew she was cheap, but that’s just embarrassing.

Too bad she didn’t “lose” her “huge, all diamond” bracelet at this event. The charity organizers could have hawked it.

    • BlueSky_Forever says:

The best part was seeing her make a cheap fool out of herself on CA. As it’s been said before, Jill IS the gift that keeps on giving!

      • quincyil says:

That is all we saw on TV. She was also looking at a painting.

Someone should tweet Jill and ask her about this.

        • Sha2000 says:

Well it was a silent auction that wasn’t really silent. Did she win the hat or not and if she did will she wear it?

          • quincyil says:

Did the hat make it past the first dumpster?

          • error404 says:

I missed it being a silent auction. They really made a big to do about Trace what’s his name donating, etc…

            • quincyil says:

Nene said starting at 500 and up… That could be a silent auction because they put the starting prices on those pieces.

            • Sha2000 says:

Hi 404, I got the impression it was a silent auction when Jill signed the list for the hat, but I may be mistaken.

              • quincyil says:

That is another sign that it was a silent auction, Sha.

I think it was now that you pointed these things out. You would make a lot more money than having a set price.

                • mariareads says:

I just watched CA on Fios on Demand. Jill signed the sheet for the hat and I thought the same thing-that is was a silent auction.

        • quincyil says:

I bet Nene would answer someone with the question of what Jill purchased at that gallery opening. Can someone ask Nene on twitter?

  14. error404 says:

while I agree that Jill often throw people like Ally and Darin under the bus, she also projects the image of someone completely incapable of making her own life decisions. Other than lashing out in anger, she vacillates on every point, seeking advice form many and often acts like Bawby and Lisa pull all her stings and tell her what to do for all important matters. It’s always “Bawby told me to….” “Lisa said I should…..” If both Bawby and Ally were drowning, I suspect she’d have to call Lisa for the answer on which to save”.

    • quincyil says:

Tough call. She has a prenup so I think save Bobby. If he goes she will have a limited income. Hopefully, Ally will be able to survie on her own.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Jill uses other people (intentionally and/or unintentionally) when making decisions – who really takes the hit when the advice is either bad or not followed? Not Jill…. We have seen Bawby give her sound advice and then she does the opposite – but instead of saying she messed up, she says Bawby said to do whatever removing herself from the outcome or the responsibility.

      • Amber...RealWife says:

ITA! Only a person who constantly makes bad decisions keeps requesting advice, only to ignore it and have someone to blame! Whew! She is able to say “Well ______ told me I should …”, in order to excuse the result. In her distorted mind she claims to have used the sage advice of Baawwby and Lisa, yet we see her do the direct opposite. Also we see her going “rogue” trying to be the good guy, when her sister talks badly about Bethenny’s treatment of her only to agree that she was a softie who was abused by B and countless others. She’s common, coarse and grimey.

    Molly,

“Fix your story. I can prove you wrong and embarrass you.”

Don’t these words sound like they are fresh out of the mouth of the Jill Zarin? Who else on the planet would care so much?

    • Sha2000 says:

Who knows? It’s so silly! I left this comment its awaiting moderation:

What’s the big deal Manny, she said “rumored” and added an explanation from her rep…seems like a disclaimer to me! Bully.

      • quincyil says:

It makes not sense to threaten the author who just asked the question. She did not state that Jill was boycotting this event.

Jill does play those games and we all know it.

Jill delights in being thought of as intimidating too. Cindy, I am not Barstop, said this and Jill took it as a compliment. It’s like Vicki G saying, “Psychotic is a compliment.”

        • Sha2000 says:

Well as I said before Quincy, I do not follow the life of Jill and what she does or doesn’t do. Believe it or not, I found this blog googling for a recap on Kelly and her odd behavior on the St. John trip, not because I was interested in JZ. That said, I have seen a lot of stories here about her (“Amazongate”)and I usually scroll along beyond the usually HW stuff (like the link I posted above) I don’t get into analyzing her behavior, I just take the word of the majority here of how she “appears” (because to be fair we don’t know her personally)…that said, IF (we will never know) she replied as Manny, that’s pretty pitiful, lol, but sadly she still won’t hold my interest. Good, bad or indifferent, I just like the conversations here, no matter who the namesake of the blog is…:)

    • Mimisfbay says:

Chilling even though it is an empty threat, or should I say Jilling? This has the beast written all over it.

Great blog, as usual. CA was very interesting and GB is just so wierd and creepy. Meatloaf seemed to be at the end of his rope but, geez, it makes you wonder about his mental health.

Okay, LaToya was just so kind and I was thrilled when she made the hat with the sparkles and glove. Giving up that shirt was huge and I really just can’t see that she is being manipulative. Marlee was a great PM except for leaving before 3. Come on, NYC on a Friday night people! Trump is full of crap and doesn’t have a clue about what real people face while in traffic. Any regular person who doesn’t live there is clueless when it comes to Friday nights. The combination of rush hour and bridge and tunnel people coming in for events is lethal. DT seemed like a sexist jerk and I wonder if he would have pulled those stunts if his daughter was there. I doubt it very much!

The OC is really something with Tamra bringing Vicki to the event like she is garlic against the vampires! Then the mace? She is a twit. The best thing was watching Peggy fawn over Vicki and you could see her eating it up. Then, she tells her that she is friends with Alexis…good friends. Vicki’s eyes literally turned into shark eyes, dead as a doornail. She is just such a piece of work. Lucky Donn I wish him all the best. She deserves to be alone counting her gold and rubbing her hands together.

Okay, WWHL was better than some of his shows. You can tell that the poor Aussie Chef has been dumped into the world of HW’s and just can’t believe it. He seems to be trying not to engage but laughing all the way to the bank.

  16. PJ says:

I thought John Rich did a good job as PM; and it was him that finally brought Meatloaf back to his senses, but he did have help with that from Mark McGrath. The thing that was really surprising is that when all was said and done not one person on the men’s team wanted Meatloaf to go home. To a man they wanted to get rid of Gary, which says a lot about how difficult Gary must be. Given Meatloaf’s meltdown you would have thought that they would all want him gone. Gary really needs to go home just watching him is stressful. Imagine how difficult it must be to have to be on the same team with him.

I was irritated that Trump asked the women if he should fire someone on the men’s team and then let them dictate who went home. What was he doing, trying to give the women an advantage because they were losing so badly? Usually Trump lets the chips fall where they may, so I thought that was a cheap call on his part. The men should have been able to decide who went home, that’s the way it’s always done so why change the rules. I feel it makes for an unfair outcome rather than an honest win.

I thought it was big of both teams to let the other team keep the money for their own charities, especially since they didn’t know who won at that moment. John, Marlee and Star are all excellent at raising money for charity. Too bad John didn’t have some big fund raisers on his team. If I had to choose between John’s charity and Marlee’s I would choose John’s, sorry. But that being said John’s team raised almost $700,000.00. No small amount and mostly due to John. Even though John’s team lost John wasn’t going home after that.

The real NeNe is coming out and it isn’t pretty. Last week I thought I could see why NeNe didn’t like Starr but this week the tables turned. NeNe is aggressive and mean and a real bully (someone introduce her to Kelly quick). NeNe complained about Star being on the computer but Star had a very important job and one that NeNe probably couldn’t do. I felt like Star was trying to be nice to NeNe but NeNe just wasn’t having it. NeNe probably won’t last much longer, besides drama what exactly doesn’t she bring to the table?

As for LaToya you can’t help but like her. The gesture of donating the tee shirt was really nice and you could tell she genuinely is grieving over the loss of Michael. I’m not sure why the women undervalue LaToya. Maybe because she is soft spoken and nice and they think they can push her around. I think that the women’s undervaluing one another is why they lose so much. It’s just such a shame that women can’t celebrate one another instead of cutting one another down, it doesn’t speak well of any of them. That includes Marlee who I otherwise like. The men may have their issues but they find a way to work together and use everyone to their best advantage.

What a cheap and predictable move on JZ’s part to show up on this show. If she is such a big deal why did she donate just $500.00? Oh wait she only wanted to be on TV! So predictable.

My friend , an interior designer, has had a terrible time finding housekeepers in miami. She has had valuable jewelry stolen and even her golden retriever was stolen by someone working on her home ! The crime there is really terrible and the work ethic is iffy. The attitude is if you have money you can afford to lose something. My girlfriend is a hardworking, successful single mother who dosen’t deserve this.

    • Sha2000 says:

Hi Alicia, My stepsister lived their in the early 90’s, right on the strip in SB next to Casa Casuarina…the crime was bad then. She lived with her boyfriend at the time and they both worked in his family’s jewelry business so they had many times at least 100k worth of samples in their apt. One night early evening, they took their two big dog out for a walk, when they returned they found the door hacked open as if by an axe. They were lucky not to have been home and stupid to keep samples (but they needed them for traveling to jewelry shows), my stepsister feels they were most likely watched and we think she is right. She was so freaked out by it she had my dad fly down to bring move her back home to NY…so it must be worse now! I live in very nice suburb of New Tampa and the crime is bad here, FL is a very transient state, lots of criminals and scammers. I wish I knew this before we left TX where it is peaceful and trustworthy 90% of the time-seriously! I miss having a housekeeper but I don’t trust them in this state. Sorry for your friend and her dog, that’s terrible!

      • alicia says:

I used to live in Brandon ! We do have a housekeeper who works for all of our family. I depend on her for all kinds of things- like when we had a hurricane approaching I left my baby with her to grab the” hurricane essentials”. My grandmother is 96 and she will stay to make sure she gets out of the shower ok. It is a horrible feeling to discover that you have been robbed- especially of personal items or keepsakes. No one has tried to steal my outside dog as he is a 70lb wolf/ golden retriever cross!

        • quincyil says:

My granddaughter’s nanny is from Panama and we respect her so much. I think there are some bad people everywhere. Most people are honest and hardworking.

    • OneMoreInBoston says:

slightly off topic but sorta relevent:
I recently moved from one neighborhood in Boston to another neighborhood still in Boston.

The neighborhood I left was #1 in the city for housebreaks- more there than any other section of the city.

The neighborhood I live in now has very few break ins- but is #1 in the city for muggings.

Yet the crime rate is roughly the same…just divided differently if that makes sense.

I wonder if that’s also true of Miami- the crime is probably on par for any other American city of it’s size but just divided up differently?

As far as work ethic is concerned- did your friend have housekeepers in any other part of the country as a frame of reference ? or is this her frustration with ALL housekeepers.

Typically , I see justification on the part of most people I know that have “done dirt”- oh they can afford it, or it’s big company, they’ll never notice. To me that’s just a criminal mindset- not a Miami criminal mindset.

      • Sha2000 says:

Hmmm, that’s interesting. This sort of supports your theory:
        http://www.cityrating.com/crimestatistics.asp

      • alicia says:

I would say there seems to be more of the”criminal mindset” in Miami and most larger cities. I’m north in PB county where we
feel safer. I’m very aware and alert to things that most of my friends shrug off. I think crime can happen anywhere at anytime.
My brother laughs and says that no one would want to come on my property(6 acres) because of snakes and gators! It definately has that “old florida look”.

        • Sha2000 says:

Snakes, gators, us too…grandfather oaks, not yet we are new Florida, lol. A few years back we considered moving to Wellington because the homes were so beautiful and we prefer south over central FL, but we heard the crime was worse there.

        • Amber...RealWife says:

IDK I think sticky fingered housekeepers exist everywhere! Ask Paula Deen. I know when my dad came out of retirement he started working evenings as a janitor, cleaning an office in Westshore, Tampa FL. The company he worked for had a screening process that included a criminal history clearance. The employee had to go the Sheriffs/TPD and get proof of a clean record. The same can be done by a private employer, and you can also see their record on different websites. Before you let anyone into your home or near your kids/elderly parents, you should investigate them and the employee should be agreeable if they’ve nothing to hide and want the job.

          • Sha2000 says:

This is true Amber. Especially with a baby? Btw, How did you fair in that storm Thursday? Wasn’t that ridiculous, basically a 24 hr thunder storm!

I agree with you on your views on the Miami show. I wish it would have been given a chance and more episodes. I loved Mama Elsa she was a riot. Being Cuban and currently living in Miami I was really excited to see the show unfold yet I felt it did not get as much promotion as the other shows. I prefer the Miami show to the Jersey show any day!!!

    • alicia says:

      Agree

    • quincyil says:

I was surprised that the reuinion of Miami is actually a WWHL. It just seems that Bravo threw the show away without trying at all.

I absolutely loved Elsa’s clothing. I think they are designer fashions from the 60s and 70s. Marisol wore some interesting things too.

I was in Miami a year ago in Jan when it was so cold. I had my infant granddaugter who did not like the cold wind so I was not able to walk the streets and see the sights as I had planned. We are going back. There is a vibe in Miami that I like.

Plus, I love houses and those houses along the water front were fantastic.

  23. quincyil says:

I have a soothsayer prediction. Jeff Lewis’s new show will have a formula. He and Jenny will be giving interior design advice to homeowners about their homes and about their livestyles. I think Jeff was tired of having camera’s follow his cats into the bathroom. The formula shows are probably easier to create.

I think California real estate will be in the dumps for decades as the banks unload the short sales. Jeff didn’t love working at that restaurant and he was frustrated by contractors all of the time. I think he just wants to give advice and take a check without the responsiblity of making sure the dryer vent is in the laundry room and the doggy door isn’t upside down.

Jeff hated Jenny being gone to auditions and away on camera shoots. I think she agreed to costar in this new show and Bravo liked the idea enough to give it a shot this year.

I don’t know if Bravo reads this site, but whenever we had a “Flipping Out” blog, people here love the houses and the design project more than the was Jeff Lewis treated his employees.

This will be another example of Bravo moving away from long term filmin of reality shows with the hope of finding drama in the lives of reality stars and moving towards formula shows that have a product every week like “Tabatha’s Salon Takeover.”

Tabatha will have a similar show to her present show and she will help small businesses. Again, that will be a formula show.

My soothsayer guess is….. production costs for filming months of the lifes of people like Jill Zarin in the hopes of creating a show run more than using a formula and creating a product that you can count on.

Jeff Lewis and Jenny are very smart people. They can see the writing on the wall.

    Tabatha is very smart too.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Bravo needs to find the right mix of the various shows to sustain viewer interest and lessen the change the channel impulse. I for one am wandering back to some old favorites on other networks that I abandoned during the height of housewife mania. IMO, Bravo went overboard with HW franchises and some of their other fan favorites suffered because of it.

      • quincyil says:

Note to Jill Zarin: The Pendulum Swings.

She won’t have any idea what that means. rotfl…

        • WindyCityWondering says:

Jill has never struck me as introspective. She is an unhappy woman who will remain so because of her inability to accept that she is not universally adored.

          • quincyil says:

She said in an online article that Bobby and her family wanted her to go back on the show because the person that Bravo showed us is not the real Jill Zarin.

My hairdresser and my female hospital CEO both think Jill Zarin is a horrible person. I just don’t know how she can change the minds of a nation by putting herself in the same situation for another season.

The people that redeem themselves are like Bill Clinton. They disappear, then do good works.

            • PJ says:

If Jill ever showed even an ounce of humility people could forgive her. If Jill would just own her behavior and give a sincere apology people could forgive her. But her insistence on spinning reality like claiming she was bullied in the Virgin Islands makes her an unlikable person. It also shows her contempt of the viewing public because she must think we are all stupid and can’t figure out what we see. She seems to be totally unaware of her public persona. I don’t think she stands a chance of people changing their minds about her.

Andy said a new Flipping Out will be airing next year or end of this year. They are giving u a double dose of Jeff Lewis, which, I for one, will gladly take. At least he is intelligent.

    OT —
I just saw a longer preview for BEA 😦 it is the same one that has been out, where she and Jason go into the restroom, but a little longer. It seems like it is only Jason (and us) who hear her cry and talk. I feel bad and i know she will get a lot of heat over crying again, but I still feel bad. She explained her reasons for not wanting a party before the party, she tried to keep it small and then she even had that thing with Jason when he tells her that everything is about her. At the end she still let the party happen and she loses it there. I think that when she talks a lot about her feelings and what she wants or whatever, it is her way to explain where she is coming from…she might be criticized about that because she might go on and on about it. Then if she doesn’t explain, she lets it be (like when Jason pushed on inviting more people, or Shawn says he will plan the party for free), then we will see her explode with her crying.

Sorry I am bringing this up, but I just saw the preview and it made me feel bad for her. I know I can come here and talk about it. If you agree or disagree you will let me know, I sometimes change my mind (or in this case) I will feel better by reading even from those who might disagree.

I know she is putting herself out there, she has her own show, and she is making lots of money. She is also learning, not in an easy way.
I am sure she will be fine.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

I feel bad for her too – she didn’t want a party, she doesn’t like her birthday or remembering birthdays past. Telling her to get over it is saying her feelings are not valid and show a real lack of understanding/support.

    • VAgirl says:

From what I have seen without actually watching the show, I feel bad for her too. Watching the show may make me change my mind, but sometimes people around B do not take what she is telling them seriously. I think she’s torn between trying to please people (Jason by having the big birthday) and going with how she really feels about things (justified or not, selfish or not). She knows herself (as opposed to others housewives (Jill)) and I think she is trying to evolve as a person but she is going to have setbacks. OK everybody, let me have it.

      • California35 says:

There you go! that is what I am was saying lol.
She wants to please people and she is also letting people how she feels….she knows she has issues, so I think she second guesses her self for that reason, and she gives into him or things…trying to be “normal” or to “compromise”….but her nature is …… still there and it as to come out some how.

    • error404 says:

I think all newlyweds make mistakes. Asking for an entire country to follow you along as you bumble thru that first year is like asking your two meddling mothers to move in.

She clearly didn’t want that party and his insistence on her letting him throw it I have a hard time getting, but whatever. I’m sure they’ll work out their kinks.

      • VAgirl says:

Especially having an infant in your first year of marriage.

      • quincyil says:

You are not kidding. I remember being so frustrated in those first years. The best boyfriend on the planet changes the day you get married. What a shock! rotfl.

          lol

I didn’t have the business and didn’t have the children, and was younger by a few years…and it has been an interesting situation for me to be in a living relationship…big change for me.

      • California35 says:

Yes, they will work things out. I HOPE they do 🙂

She is like you said newlyweds making mistakes. They both are both new at this in diferent ways…add the cameras and her multy businesses and poof you got BEA….

    • BaaBee Loves Kitties says:

I saw that as well Cali~felt bad for Bethenny. Don’t want to see anyone upset especially on their birthday. Maybe things will get better with her emotionally soon.

      • HD says:

I will have to see the show and what happened with her falling apart in context before I can make a serious call one way or the other. I am actually so sick and tired of Bethanny crying and whining all the time. I missed last week but I am going to watch today about how the whole birthday thing came up and how Shawn even got involved, etc. etc. then I will have a better understanding. However, I am sure many of us have suffered through things we don’t want to to. I am not really a person that likes to be around a lot of people, but you deal with it for that particular time and you go home. Sometimes you gotta suck it up, deal with it and keep it moving. Not have a breakdown because your husband threw you a birthday party. Yes, maybe she didn’t want to do it BUT since she agreed and went along with it, deal with it. It’s a party, drink, eat, smile, laugh, fake it and go home. Then wow…it’s over. (Now, these are my thoughts now before seeing the show. I might change my mind once I see the scene in context.)

        • BaaBee Loves Kitties says:

Hi Hannah~I love parties, presents & lots of people. lol

          • HD says:

I am sooooooooooooooo not a people person so I understand B’s personality. I don’t like all the hoopla that comes with some events but I have learned that sometimes people that love you just want to do things for you so you just kind of suck it up and deal with it and let them have that moment. It really doesn’t take much to do that.

I have been feeling rather depressed lately and my bestfriend bought me a beautiful flower. I said you know I hate flowers, they just die and they are a waste of money. She said, “I know just read the card and shut up.” LOL! So guess what I did? I shut up and I read the card. This was HER way of saying, “I am here for you HD” and my piss poor attitude about hating flowers did not allow me to accept that gesture from her. I loved the card, I loved the flower and when I look at it now, I smile because it reminds me that someone loves me. Sometimes you just need to be quiet and let people express that.

            • BaaBee Loves Kitties says:

              I Love You~

              • HD says:

            • mariareads says:

So true, HD. And you can always press those flowers and even though they are dried they still have a beauty and a memory. I put them in my Bible, some books, journals. Nice memories to associate with a nice gesture by someone.
LOL-you seem like a people person chatting on this message board! ; )

No real surprises in this article, except for the scarf Jill apparently stole off a homeless person and chose to wear in the photo shoot.

I am a terrible knitter, but I think I copy that scarf. Finally, I will have a designer fashion. rotfl.

Jill is right about the last paragraph. All we can do is try to be better people.

I am sorry that Ramona gets the “crazy” description this season. She has such highs and lows that the “Romanacoaster” really works for her.

      • VAgirl says:

I think that Ramona has a good heart. She just needs to count to 10 before she speaks!

      • WindyCityWondering says:

The Scarf has to be a Gloria original!
Jill saying all we can do is try to be better people is an over used, never practiced cliche – it belongs in her moldy book.

    • error404 says:

Sometimes little things bug me. How can you come back if you never left. Jenna left RHOC and then came back. This is like showing up to work every Monday morning and announcing to your co-workers your reasons for returning. STFU!

        ITA!

      • California35 says:

“How can you come back if you never left. ”

        lol

      • quincyil says:

Perhaps her family enjoys the fame too. They are all on TV. They wrote the book and are riding the Jill train.

I’m sure the other women wanted her to come back. Without Bethenny and Jill, there is no show.

        • WindyCityWondering says:

Jill had to come back because three of them would not want to film with Kelly and LuAnn is boring. Jill has a purpose and that is to be the leader of Team Rejects. This season she must redeem those rejects while making the others look horrible.

    • Noreen says:

The red hair, pink blouse and orange scarf she knitted in 8th grade just don’t work together. Maybe she should knit a hat next time.

    • lovemamaearth says:

==”I was ganged up on by Alex, Bethenny and Ramona,” she says. “It’s so last year and it’s so over that I don’t want to talk about it anymore. … But let me tell you, it’s hard to fight three against one. One on one is one thing. Three on one, not so even.”==

It was ok when she had the 3 on her side against B or against Simon & Alex.

And Jill wasn’t ganged up on then anyway.

  26. error404 says:

Jill is crazy. Ramona is damaged.

Jill has no empathy for her fellow humans. Everything is me me me. Her detractors are her enemies and her enemies must be destroyed.

Ramona is an emotional wreck due to her childhood, but unlike Jill she recognizes it, she owns it, she at least tries to correct it.

R flipped out when Silex showed up to girl’s night. She owned it. She explained it. She eventually made peace with Silex.

J flipped out when Alex confronted her. She didn’t own anything, but denied everything. She didn’t explain any of her behavior beyond “This is who I am”. She never made peace with Silex. Instead she tired to get both of them fired from their jobs.

Ramona has issues, but is human. Jill, like her new bff Kelly is mentally ill and lives in a world of her own making because it’s easier than admitting sometimes being wrong.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Jill and Kelly are alike in their self absorbed view of the world and their total lack of any ability to acknowledge other people’s feelings. Their bond comes through dislike/hate of others. Jill can manipulate Kelly and Kelly just wants someone to celebrate her.

Anyone watching the Borgias ? I thought it was pretty interesting. At least their behavior is to be the Pope and not reality stars.

    • California35 says:

I saw it — the son is pretty smart and quick. It all brought a lot of things to my mind, very interesting for sure.

It was the first episode so I know we got a lot more coming, and I will continue watching.

I hope it isn’t TWO hours though lol

    • error404 says:

I’ve been dying for reports! Is it as good as the Tudors?

      • JKW says:

It’s a lot more bloody than the Tudors. The son is ruthless but the dad isn’t far behind. I was surprised they knocked off that many people in the first episode. I guess his whole reign must have been pretty bad. I really enjoyed it. I didn’t realize the Borgias were Spanish not Italian…which didn’t go over big.

        • California35 says:

You thought he was ruthless? I saw him as a bothered man, like he doesn’t want that path, but he has to. I kept thinking, for not wanting this path he is doing might good 😛
I wish they had not killed that girl – I won’t say who since it sounds like Error has not seen it. Sorry Error, I will stop now, but I will say that I enjoyed it. I don’t know too much of that histury, but I know some and it was interesting to see it.

          • JKW says:

I agree he was bothered about being in the churc….but certainly not by all the people he had a hand in killing. Seriously, he was involved in killing 2 cardinals and the girl. He also bribed how many others ? Basically he told the assassin what to do. I call that pretty ruthless. I liked the Tudors and I also liked the first show of the Borgias. It was fast moving so it really kept your interest.

  28. error404 says:

RHoOC has two basic problems IMHO.

    1. The original formula for RH. It’s about average people who made it. They live in gated McMansion community and drive blinging cars. They were how a lot of USA lived in the 90 and how more aspired to live. Then the economy crashed and everyone including the RHoOC got forclosed on. But everyone was sobering up from an excessive collective binge and instead of relating to them as “like us” we turned on them as an example of our own excesses gone wild. They’ve become the crazy girl we made out with when drunk that we now don’t want our friends to know we ever kissed.

    2. RHoOC, the prototype, was about upper middle class america. Then NY and At started adding “socialites”, rich people, Ballplayer wives, minor celebrities, etc.. and then RHoBH blew them all away. Who wants to watch Barbie Average throw a sex toy party when you can see two former child stars you remember going at it in a limo like Alexis and Krystal.

    • quincyil says:

That is an interesting Dynasty analogy… since Kim Richards was married to Greg Davis and Dynasty was based on the Denver/Texas Davis clan.

The jewelry that Kim Richards wears reminds me of the Jewelry of Alexis and Krystal too.

      • quincyil says:

I bet that I have more money than Kim Richards, yet my life is Walmart and Applebees. I think she hopes to marry another rich man, but the clock is ticking. I know she has to keep up with the Umanskys and Hiltons, but if you can not afford to buy a house in your 40s that is really bad.

        • BaaBee Loves Kitties says:

For some reason I thought you shopped at richer places Q~lol.
I feel closer to you now. Do they always put Applebee’s right across from Walmart like here?

        • AZ Girl says:

Love Applebee’s grilled chicken salad 🙂

        • error404 says:

Oh Quincy Quincy Quincy. I’m sad.

I sometimes slink into walmart and applebees with my head hung in shame. I know that I am helping bring about the downfall of western civilization, but sometimes I have too. Had I money to stay out of Walmart for good, I certainly would. It’s dancing with the devil.

Kim had not only her childhood stolen by her abusive family, but all of her Disney money too, and now her dignity on top of it all thanks to vile Kyle. I hate to admit it, but I’d love to know what happened to Kim’s alimony and how the baby momma of one the world richest men came to depend on the kindness of the local real-a-tour. I suspect it at least partially bs embellishment from her evil, sorry I meant loving, little sister. Still, the road to hell is paved with men who left their middle-aged wives high and dry, so I’m sure your house comment wasn’t meant as heartless as it came out. Everyone deserves a 2nd chance, even addicts. Heck, even Jill Zarin deserves a 2nd chance. Too bad she’s refuses to change.

      • Kukulet says:

You’re righter than you know, Quincy. Remember that pearl choker that Kim wore to Taylor’s birthday party? During one of the wrestling matches with Linda Evans on Dynasty, Joan Collins wore the same choker. I saw a picture of it recently, in an article about “Great Television Catfights”. The two chokers matched exactly.

        • quincyil says:

I read online about the Davis family. Kim must have been a fish out of water with that group. Two babies …then divorced. It’s sad.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

My problem with the OC is that I could not find anything to relate to – it was a peek at “the fabulous California lifestyle” but the women just couldn’t hold my interest. Now we have BH and OC seems like a seedy second.

      • quincyil says:

I am fast forwarding through OC and I don’t rewatch it. I watched BH and enjoyed it second and third time. I watched NYC several times in the past.

There is no one in OC that I am interested in.

Tamara is the piece that you wipe off the bottom of your shoe. Her boyfriend is in it for a good time. How long before he turns her in for a model with less mileage on the odometer?

  29. Kukulet says:

Jill says: “If she could, and you gave her an eraser, [Bethenny] would erase ‘Housewives’ off her résumé.”

When and where has Bethenny ever said she was ashamed of her participation in RHoNY? All she has ever said is that she has moved on. Something we all wish Jill would quietly do.

Jill says: “I’m proud to be a ‘Real Housewife.’ … I would never be less than proud of doing something I chose to do.”

Of COURSE she’s proud to be a RH. It’s all she has. Without that, she’s just an insignificant, self involved paid whore wife of a cut rate fabric store owner with an overbearing mother and a list with a bunch of names crossed off.

And when she tanks this season, it will be Bawby’s fault.

Jill says (about Bethenny again): “And certainly, for her, it built her brand and career…”

No, BETHENNY built her brand and career. She’s never denied that RHoNY helped a bunch, but SHE still had to do the work. So what is your point, Jill? Do you even know?

“… so for her to want to make that all go away, you know, kind of hurts all the girls who are left there.”

Please. Again, Bethenny has never expressed that view. Amazing how Jill now speaks for Bethenny and how she feels when they haven’t talked in years.

“We all feel the same way.”

Now she speaks for all the rest of them, too? Funny, I haven’t seen any of the others expressing that viewpoint.

Jill, you are the worst at spin. You really are. You absolutely suck at it. You should slap some electrical tape across your mouth and STFU.

    • VAgirl says:

I have almost finished reading B’s book (on #9 rule) and have yet to see her say anything disparaging about the RHNY show or any of her castemates. She didn’t badmouth Martha Stewart, or any of her past boyfriends, fiances, or her first husband. She talks mostly about herself, her flaws, her failures and her successes. Just because she doesn’t constantly talk about RHNY doesn’t mean she wishes it would go away. She readily admits it was a good stepping-stone to bigger and better things.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Bethenny has said that she is thankful for RHNY/Bravo – that doesn’t sound like someone who wants to erase it from their resume. This is about Jill being unable to accept the end of her relationship with Bethenny, to move on or truly has something to move on to! Jill has a driving need to continue to “slay that girl” and as that girl’s star continues to rise the harder Jill will try to make Bethenny look bad. IMO, if/when RHNY tanks this year, Jill will find a way to make that Bethenny’s fault all the while proclaiming “they” didn’t need her or really want her.

      • Kukulet says:

I also think that Jill is trying to provoke Bethenny into a response by reciting how Bethenny “feels” about RHoNY.

Jill knows that Bethenny doesn’t talk about her at all, while, on the flip side, Jill can’t shut up about Bethenny or stop attempting to ride her coattails. The first two seasons of RHoNY, the only thing interesting about Jill was Bethenny. Jill wants that back…bad. And since she can’t get that back by being friends with Bethenny, then she’s trying the opposite tack.

Anything to get Bethenny’s attention back on her. It must drive Jill crazy that Bethenny has so completely washed Jill out of her life.

        • WindyCityWondering says:

Jill is definately baiting Bethenny – she wants a response, any response! For someone who wanted to cut Bethenny out like cancer – and who got her wish – Jill sure isn’t happy.

          • California35 says:

She didn’t want Bethenny in her life, now that Bethenny doesn’t care, she is so bothered by it. Jill got her wish. I think that she never felt sorry about any of it. I think she still has those bad feelings tours B from last season. I think that she put an act for a while saying that she was sorry and that she wanted the friendship back, etc ONLY because she felt she had to…because she knew she lost fans over it. Now she is back to the real her, badmouthing B.

Making what B wanting to stay even further away from her. Good thing B has a life, Jill needs to get one.

            • WindyCityWondering says:

Jill was doing a PR stunt at the Reunion – mission: get Bethenny to forgive her, be friends with her and open the door to see the baby. She failed and can’t accept it – so back to basics – slay that girl!

              • California35 says:

lol yeah that is what I am thinking…Lynn has been telling us all along 😛

              • PJ says:

Well at least she wanted to make people think that she was reaching out to make up with Bethenny. Jill looked so bad all season she wanted to make it look like Bethenny was the one holding on to the grudge. It didn’t work though.

        • Noreen says:

After watching NY3 season finale, it was evident at the end that Bethenny still saw a window in the future for Jill and B to be friends; but Jill couldn’t stop talking to the press and a year later, she is still doing it. What a complete and total jerk. Jason saw her coming from a mile away.

    • PJ says:

The only thing Bethenny regrets about being on RHNY is the time she spent with Jill thinking they were real friends.

  30. VAgirl says:

OT again. Rosie O’Donnell will be doing a new talk show on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) using Oprah’s old studio. I used to like Rosie’s old show before she got so political and just plain nasty about things she didn’t agree with. Couldn’t they have found someone better than that? Not sure OWN is gonna make it big time like some of the other cable networks.

    • BambiBaby22 says:

Perhaps Oprah should have taken a clue from Bravo and stacked her new network with Housewives and chefs (or cooks) of “reality” tv.
I think the days of self-improvement and remebering your spirit on tv are gone. We now want to watch “seemingly”wealthy, self-absorbed women bitch-slap each other into next week. jmo

  31. HD says:

Okay….I am watching the party episode…Bethanny met with Shawn, right? Why even take it that far? Seems a little sketchy to me like that was for the show. Even if Jason wanted a party, he couldn’t plan it? Whose idea was it to bring in Shawn and now make it an event that an event planner has to plan and organize?

    • California35 says:

I think that is a Bravo party, and that is why Bethenny is having it even if she is not all into it.

      • HD says:

Yeah, I think this is a show thing. If not, why even involve, Shawn? It doesn’t take much to plan a birthday party so to me, Shawn doesn’t even need to be involved. More Bravo footage and Bethanny’s breakdown was probably a bonus for them.

    • HD says:

Okay let me have my moment because this was the first time I have seen this episode…this list and how many guests thing was so damn stupid. WHO CARES?! 40 or 45 is the world going to stop turning?! Everyone is probably not even going to show up. Who cares. Sheesh! Uhhhhhhhhhhhh

      • California35 says:

lol take your moment HD 🙂

      • WindyCityWondering says:

ITA – Jason was wearing his asshat – then on the promos we see his mom and dad at the party (salt in the wound much). It’s a Bravo party, vehicle to bring Shawn back. My gut feeling is Bethenny probably could have handled it if Jason didn’t go and make a big deal birthday girl ordeal. She was honest with him and he ignored her – she had to breakdown for him to get it!

        • California35 says:

Yes! I hated that, she had told him for a reaaassoon! 😛

Then he says that this problem is within her (in her head?) and that it is something that she needs to figure out on her own, that he can’t help with that. I agree and disagree with that. Yes, she will because it is HER problem, but he can help by not pushing her. I know he means well, and I am SURE he will learn after that lol

          • error404 says:

I like Jason too but the whole crazy vs normal vibe bugs me! Bethenny is looking for normal and Jason is too scared to do the same.

It can’t just be her birthday. I think our girl Bethenny is under too much stress. That schedule with skating and apprearances is grueling. When she is not working she seems to worry about working. Some how she needs to get control of her emotions.

  33. Dwight Schrute says:

Okay a couple of comments and they’re really all on different subjects.

I don’t watch Celebrity Apprentice but from reading this, there is some karma going on that Nene couldn’t raise much money when on RHOA she only gave $20 at Sheree’s Dancing With The Atlanta Stars event and pressed Kandi to not give as much as she wanted.

On RHOOC none of them really have redeeming qualities. I can’t stand Vicki. Her comment that she’d rather work until midnight than come home to Don was telling and a low blow. I do, however, have to give her some credit for being a little better with Alexis. As soon as Tamara brought out the mace and tried to pull Vicki into it, Vicki passed hers to Alexis and basically said here, you take it, I didn’t want it. She normally would have stirred the pot further and this time she didn’t. That this is the only thing I can say positive about her isn’t saying much.

A lot of the No Hate photo campaign was staged for the Bravo cameras. They showed them painting the No H8 logo on their faces. About a year ago I heard an interview with the photographer who came up with the campaign. He said they learned pretty quickly to not paint the logo onto each person’s face and they switched to a transparent sticker as it was one of the most time consuming portions of getting ready for the photo shoot.

Dwight! I haven’t seen that split pea soup quilty thing for a while.

LOL- totally forgot about NeNe being so icky at Sheree’s event, and you’re right, karma’s a bitch and so am I…OK added that last part. 😉

      • Dwight Schrute says:

Yeah, I guess it’s been a while. I have a general rule on putting comments on a blog. I really only comment if I have something new to add to the conversation rather than just restating someone else’s comments or getting into an argument online. So if I don’t comment, what I would say has probably already been posted by someone else.

Also, it’s been REALLY busy at work and it’s bled over into less time after work to participate. While I always read the blog each day, I’ve not really had the time to read all the comments.

    • California35 says:

The thing about Nene, so right! I did see that on Atlanta.

    • Sha2000 says:

Didn’t they paint one on Madisons face too for MDL?

      • Dwight Schrute says:

You’re right, they did although that aired before I heard the interview and had to be taped well before that so it is possible that they were still putting it on manually back then.

        • quincyil says:

I think Simon and Alex did that campaign, but they had clothes on.

          • California35 says:

            Yes they did! 🙂

            • quincyil says:

When they ask all of us to do the campaign, I think we all should keep our clothes on too. There are a lot of Grandmas here. rotfl.

              • error404 says:

could you imagine the “I HATE JILL ZARIN” blog in a “No H8!” campaign! lol Jill would do her nut in.

                • quincyil says:

Why not? I think we are famous haters/a gang/bullies. Jill makes sure everyone knows about this site and the people here in her upstream, on her twitter, and in online articles. Jill Zarin made all of us famous/infamous.

The NO 8 people would love to have all of us in a room with stick on number eights on our faces and duct tape over our mouths.

I will provide the number eights and duck tape myself. I have art supplies.

              • Kansas Girl says:

Oooo, that would be fun. I’d be willing to roll my sleeves up — would that be too risque?

Oh…Quincy I certainly hope you set up a TV set in the stables for the horses and kitties. They too are Butler fans. 🙂

      • quincyil says:

They sure are… and my close friends have the name Butler too. My animals love them and your school.

        • AZ Girl says:

Actually I married a guy from Indy. DePauw graduate. For 30+ years I have had no life during the months of March and April. I am a ASU alumni.

          • VAgirl says:

AZ . ASU usually has a great softball team. I love, love, love college softball and the women’s world series every year. My youngest daughter played college softball and now is an assistant softball coach at a small college. I hope Butler wins, of course, since my VCU Rams didn’t make it.

          • quincyil says:

I went of U of I Urbana, but our teams never did well when I was there.

  35. Mookies1mom says:

I have a seriously off topic question. Has anyone here ever had a dental implant? If so, could you let me know what your experience was like. I’m having mine done tomorrow. I already know, from my first mistake, that I will be sedated. Can’t wait to watch BEA after it finishes recording!

    • Mookies1mom says:

If it’s not so pleasant Lynn can give you my e-mail address. But let me know if you sent something so I can check it. Thanks!

      • Nancy says:

Nurse Nancy here to let you know (from personal knowledge, I have 3 of them) that there is NOTHING to be worried about.
I had no sedation what so ever and I needed no pain medication after part 1. I’m sure your dentist has explained to you that implants are done over time. The first part is easy. Part 2 I had
some pain but once again needed no pain medication. Part 3 they take impressions to make the actual tooth and walla it’s over.
Let me know how it goes. I’ll be thinking of you.

    • Noreen says:

Both my brother and sister-in-law had implants done and now have gorgeous teeth. It takes a long time (like a year) for the implant to set in before your new permanent teeth are added, but their temps looked great. And because they were sedated, they said it wasn’t any worse than any big procedure like a root canal. They had a great experience and love their teeth. They both had really bad teeth and now they are beautiful. I hope this helps. Since I didn’t personally go through it I can’t tell you much. Maybe someone more knowledgeable can chime in. Good luck.

      • Nancy says:

I’m the biggest baby when it comes to pain and I swear to you, you need no sedation. If I’m wrong you can fly out here to LA and pull all my teeth out! ha ha

        • Mookies1mom says:

See my reply below. But I’m not going to come pull your teeth out. I’d rather set my hair on fire and run naked down my street.;) Not such an easy task when you live in between the middle school and high school in a town of 3,500!LOL

      • Mookies1mom says:

Thanks for the replies! I am doing the sedation since I kinda freaked out when they started to do the implant. But I am an admitted dentist-phobe. I’ve already had the impressions done and I am wearing a spacer now because I had to reschedule the implant. But the guy I am going to does not like to have any questions asked. When I did ask questions he told me he thought I was trying to tell him how to do his job. Thankfully, after tomorrow and then a check-up to make sure the implant is doing well I won’t have to see him again. My regular dentist, who is wonderful, will do the permanent tooth. Unfortunately for me any time I have dental work done it kicks off a migraine for several days. But I am prepared for that. Thanks again! It makes my freaky dentist phobic mind rest a little easier.

        • Nancy says:

I would change dentists. Good luck.

          • Mookies1mom says:

Thanks! I already paid the guy otherwise I would. But hey, I’ll be knocked out so he can be a jerk while I’m out!

            • Mimisfbay says:

I have had two implants and my daughter has had one. It was a piece of cake and the oral surgeon was amazing. I don’t remember being sedated at all. It was seriously the easiest dental thing I have ever had done. Both my dentist and the surgeon are expensive but for a good reason great schools and strong referrals. Hope yours goes well!!!!

Funny story, my granddaughter overheard me tell my daughter that I was having implants and she screamed “God, no nana, please don’t”. I looked at her (she was 16) and I realized that she thought I was getting a boob job!

  36. PJ says:

Watch where you use your ATM card. My daughter used her card to pay for dinner a few days ago and now someone in Wales is using her number. Her bank stopped it so they can’t use it again, but not before two transactions went through. Imagine what these criminals could accomplish if they were to use their energy for good.

  37. HD says:

    Can we say product placement?

  38. HD says:

The breakdown was not that bad. I am willing to give B a pass. Obviously something deeper is going on here that she needs to deal with.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

ITA – she gets a pass and the therapist needs to help her untwine all the bad things she has tied up into her birthday!

    • VAgirl says:

I agree. It was not easy to watch parts of it, but the last scene was worth it!

  39. Mookies1mom says:

I’m off to watch BEA and then hopefully get some sleep. Thank you ladies for the advice!

  40. TLM says:

The BEA breakdown wasn’t so bad. I think if you were a guest, you probably wouldn’t have noticed much, unless you overheard them in the bathroom. There should have been music playing and lower lights. It was so quiet in that room and I felt the bright lighting made it that much more awkward. It’s hard to relax when you feel like you’re in school called to an assembly. The ambiance that that place had during the day was utterly lost at night with the bright lights and silence. You could have held an insurance seminar in that room. The space was also too large for a group of that size, and the room felt uncomfortably empty, losing the intimacy B wanted.

I have to say, I would NEVER hire Shawn Rabideau for any event, ever. I don’t care that he’s done parties for Barbra Walters. The guy does not have a clue. The crappy table he wanted to do for B’s wedding looked like prom night at any high school in the country, and SHE had to tell HIM the way to make it elegant. Ditto with his insane suggestions for her party. My jaw dropped when he suggested half-naked painted men and people on stilts. It sounded like a nightclub Stefon on SNL would describe. Sorry Shawn, this is supposed to be a low-key party for a married woman turning 40, not a gay orgy in the Castro on Mardi Gras. What the F was this man thinking? And then he brings out a cake with shooting flames? Not only does he have no taste, but he doesn’t understand Bethenny even when she TELLS HIM exactly what she wants and does not want.

I caught the first 5 minutes of Rosie Pope’s show and was falling asleep about 60 seconds in. She has this odd British-yet-not-British accent coupled with a lisp where I can’t for the life of me discern about 50% of what she’s saying. Then, with all the buildup to this show, I look at the tv and am horrified to see some bizarre spelling of “entrepreneur” in the chyron. Seriously, Bravo? Doesn’t anyone double-check the chyron? It was embarrassing.

That couple that has a whole table to weirdos to decide a baby name because they’re too dumb or lazy to pick a name themselves? For their own child?? Do they have no friends to talk to about names? Who wants to watch despicable, vapid people like this? I never know the sketch “Two A-holes” from SNL was based on real people, but these two even LOOK LIKE THEM!!!

I’m afraid even a lead-in from Bethenny can’t save this show. If it turns out to be a huge hit, then shame on me, but I’m going out on a limb and saying it’s a bomb after about 10 minutes.

    • TLM says:

      *table OF weirdos.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Still watching Rosie and it is a bomb…..totally boring but obviously people are willing to spend money on strange stuff. Definately not worth an hour of viewer’s time.

      • LynnNChicago says:

Don’t these couples have friends that can help them prepare for the baby, like a baby shower, talk about baby names, help prepare the nursery. They have to pay someone to do all that? sad

        • HD says:

I watched for 10 minutes and had to flip. Who the hell has 4 weeks until they have a baby and hasn’t bought hardly anything yet? I can’t stand all that stupidity. I can’t watch this show. I have a low tolerance for bovine spillage.

          • VAgirl says:

I turned it off when the first couple said that the child was definitely not going to be the center of their universe or something. And I guess it doesn’t matter, but the guy seems gay to me.

        • TLM says:

Guess what’s even better Lynn… I just read that the mom to be, Samantha Ettus, is an author and syndicated columnist. Who apparently couldn’t come up with a name for her own kid, but had the time and money to devote to meetings with a team of 10 people, as did her husband. (I’ve had the sound off on the show, but I haven’t seen the man speak once.) She also holds a BA and an MBA from Harvard. As Joey Tribbiani once said on Friends, “I guess there are some things you don’t get from book learnin’.”

        • error404 says:

          “Don’t these couples have friends?”

          No.

Seriously, would you be friends with them?

          I didn’t think so.

“They have to pay someone to do all that?”

          Yes.

When the only thing you are about is making money, all that is left is spending it.

      • MichellefromNY says:

I actually really liked it. The couples are horribly annoying, but she is so cute. I love her comments about the couples. And her accent just makes everything perfect

        • lillybee says:

I hate to say it but I kinda enjoyed this show. She seems bright and this show is so not nasty.

  41. California35 says:

OT – Bethenny’s gay friend (can’t think of his name) was in celebrity apprentice also 🙂

Ugh I just saw Jill and Boaawby! “I’m going to buy your hot” she is told it starts at $500, so does what she gives lol – I know you guys talked about this already but I’m just watching it.

FYI – Beat Loaf ouch! Talking about melt down…It was very nice of him to apologize.

  42. 2Stupid says:

Ok this baby concierge show has just insulted both my children’s names. The a bit too much couple said my daughter’s name should be someone bringing in your luggage. I’m sorry whatever happened to naming your child a family name instead of “branding” them and hiring a focus group. I really was kind of bothered by their comments.

  43. LynnNChicago says:

Simon’s pissed over what Bethenny said on her show tonight

    SimonvanKempen Tweeted:
oh,so I like 2 get ‘bombed” do I, @Bethenny ?Those that live in glass houses ought never cast the first stone.Still I wish you a happy 40th!

    • California35 says:

But her comment wasnt negative, was it? She was hoping to have a giggle to enjoy because she was so tense. Hhmm

    • NormaJean says:

Wow, Simon is really over reacting IMHO. She’s never made a secret out of the fact that she and Jason like to get lit up so what’s he so offended about? Either he has a real drinking problem and is defensive or he’s been drinking the Jill Koolaid. Personally, I say shame on Simon. Bethenny called Jill out over the Cindy Adams article in S2 and was backing Alex up throughout the S3 reunion. I just lost all respect for Simon. He took a nothing remark and turned it into a threatening attack on Bethenny. NOT COOL!

      • California35 says:

I thought he got her humor, wow I’m surprised.
Is he trying to make a joke with that comment?

        • NormaJean says:

No, he’s angry and continuing to rant and threatening to “expose” Bethenny so to speak. He took what should be a nothing comment and is turning it into something huge.

          • California35 says:

Hhmm brings me back to the cab moment with Simon and Alex, when he is thinking the “surprise” he is planning for Alex is not going as planned.

    • If you had it like this says:

I saw that!! Poor Simon. I think he gets tired of being the butt of the joke sometimes. Also, he may be a little touchy about that. I remember when Jill accused him of being a drunk in a NY gossip paper and he and Alex were very upset about how it might affect his reputation and career.

      • NormaJean says:

Yea, and it was Bethenny that called Jill out for doing that. Maybe Simon should think about getting off his wife’s coattails for awhile because obviously it’s gone to his head.

        • TLM says:

Simon somehow didn’t get angry at Bethenny when she said at her wedding, “Simon is so bombed right now, they’re going to have to perform CPR.” Bethenny talked about how Julie was bombed and laughed, and Julie’s the godmother to her daughter. What is suddenly up Simon’s ass now??

Simon won’t like this, but I think he has Jill Zarin Syndrome. He forgets the reason people liked him was that he was always a good sport, tolerating Ramona’s comments, being the joke at the tennis match, being supportive to Bethenny. Take that away and I don’t think there’s much to be interested about in Simon. I stopped following him on Twitter because of his sniping comments at different people. I think he now thinks he actually is a star because he’s doing some online thing for Bravo.

I wonder how close Bethenny still is with Ramona and Alex. It’s been about 5 months since the birthday episode was filmed, and Ramona has said publicly that she thinks the new show will be better without Bethenny, and now this from Simon.

But for the fact that she was nice to Bethenny, I actually did not care for Alex last season. She made a scene three times with Jill, once at Saks, once at the TruRenewal party, and of course, in Jennifer Gilbert’s living room. I thought it was obnoxious to use other peoples’ homes and events to tell Jill what she thought of her. She could have asked Jill to lunch or taken her outside in the hall at any of these things and still told Jill off instead of doing what she did. I didn’t think it was courageous. I thought it was just rude. To make Alex a hero for doing this IS rewarding women for bad behavior, which is exactly what B said she wanted to get away from.

BTW has anyone seen some lunatic writing a blog on JewishJournal.com about Bethenny? It came up in a Google alert I had, and I couldn’t believe how week after week, this woman’s sole purpose is to skewer Bethenny, call her a compulsive liar, among other things, and tell her how immature and screwed up she is. What publication, online or otherwise, assigns a blogger to only focus on one person, and always be negative about them? It looks like a personal vendetta that goes way beyond journalism.

Her latest thing is that Jason is going to leave Bethenny. Meanwhile, according to the bio on the site, the blogger is 45 and single. It looks like her blogs just get a few comments, all of them equally negative. It was bizarre and sad.

          • quincyil says:

I don’t think Jason Hoppy is going to leave Bethenny and Brynn. When Bethenny is in trouble, she falls into his arms for safety. That trip to the bathroom was for help from Jason. That is a matched pair if I ever saw one. They aren’t the same person like Alex and Simon, but those bonds are unbreakable because of Bryn and because of the needs that Bethenny and Jason have for each other.

    • quincyil says:

I have my dvr set to record the show in it’s time slot tonight. There was no information from Bravo that this show would be on last night. My dish said that this was a repeat of Bethenny’s show.

So…. the blog will come tomorrow morning. I am sorry this happened. I have to go to work at 4 AM so I did not watch Bethenny’s show and catch that this was on last night.

      I don’t understand Bravo’s programming.

I think Bethenny knows she gets “bombed” at times and she owns it. Simon is shown drinking often and he tweets about drinking wine while watching his children playing in the back yard. I think Jill Zarin is always sober and she watched Simon get “falling down drunk” at least once and probably more often. I think Bethenny has watched him get bombed on more than one occasion. Simon was probably a bit tipsy when he wrote that tweet. That is high society NYC and the local tavern on the corner of Quincy, IL. I think Simon should consider how much he drinks before he lobs the stone at Bethenny’s glass house.

The friendship between Alex and Bethenny is one of those work friendships. Although they have small children in common and they are both hard workers, I doubt that their friendship is long lasting. Many people have temporary friendships/alliances. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. They both had issues with Jill Zarin so they bonded.

I don’t think Simon really wish Bethenny a Happy 40th. If he did, he would not have called her on that statement in his twitter which would be shared with many fans. He was returning fire just like Jill Zarin does when she gets hit with a stone.

A true friend…would laugh it off.

  44. Vesper says:

Totally agree with Lynn about it feeling like months we have been hearing about Gretchen’s anniversary party for her parents. I CANNOT believe that has been so much of her story line this season so far. Who the hell cares?? Breaking in and stealing her mom’s dress??? Y A W N. If I had Bravo cameras filming me do that, I’d be…”really guys? Am I this boring there’s nothing else we can do?” Surely creating her products is more interesting than this dumb party?

  45. Vesper says:

Also Fernanda is a sweet person, I thought it was really mean of Tamra to call her “Charo” behind her back when she is supposed to be her good friend. She should have gone to her party. Clearly Fernanda has a crush on Tamra, and Tamra uses it!
And what is the deal Peggy always making these nasty comments about Gretchen? SHe doesn’t even know her…..yet. You think they’d be friendly as they mutually are friends with Alexis! But no..she’s drawn to Tamra and Vicki instead!!

    • TLM says:

I think Tamra is being extremely dense about what’s going with Fernanda. She treats her like a plaything, kissing her on the lips, flirting with her and making provocative statements, even doing the nude pose with her for the No H8 campaign. And then she wonders why Fernanda was hurt that she didn’t show and says she sounded like a jilted lover. I don’t think Tamra really respects or takes seriously that Fernanda is a lesbian and could have real feelings for her, and Tamra keeps hinting she would be receptive to it, which you shouldn’t do if it isn’t sincere. Fernanda is a human being and not a cartoon character. I do think that’s what happened, and now Tamra is all puzzled as to why Fernanda was upset. Tamra loves the attention from her, but when it gets serious, Tamra is all puzzled. Get a clue and stop the games, Tamra.

      • error404 says:

excuse my french, but T is a cock tease, and she’s just treating her new lesbian stepping stone like she treats all men. She’ll attract her as long as she needs her, and when she’s done using her, she’ll dump her. Did you see the way Kim Z used and discarded her fake lesbian lover. Just like she uses men. Take, repeat, discard. It’s all golddiggers know.

        • TLM says:

Probably. But my take is, don’t act like you’re so surprised, or label the other person weird for having human feelings.

I think Eddie is falling for her but may just be a transitional person she breaks up with. It sounds like he wants kids, and that may be the thing that makes her say sayonara.

          • OneMoreInBoston says:

omg- you have put into words what has been really bothering me about her.

She is totally objectiving this girl- making everything about her looks and her sexuality- this citizenship party was really important to Fernanda but didn’t fit into Tamra’s idea of hot lesbian sexytime, so too bad, so sad, can’t go.

  46. California35 says:

Oh no, next week will be when B finds out her mom is talking about her… 😦

  47. Nancy says:

    BETHENNY,
I’M BEGGING YOU TO CLOSE YOUR MOUTH WHEN YOU HAVE FOOD IN IT
AND DON’T TALK WHILE YOU HAVE FOOD IN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  48. Mimisfbay says:

Oh, Simon, put on your big boy pants! I don’t twit so I am reacting to comments above. Her comment was that she was hoping he would get bombed and give her a much needed giggle. Wonder what is going on with him.

This was a good episode though and I just hope that BF is able to get over her stuff. Time to leave that crap in the past and celebrate your birthday and have fun! That is all that everyone of the people there want for her. Leave Lubbock in the rear view mirror honey. Don’t carry that old stuff like a bag of rocks, just sayin

    • NormaJean says:

I don’t twitter either but if you google twitter and his name you can get to Simon’s twitter screen and see how ugly he’s being.

  49. Cusi77 says:

Oh my… LORD! That Terry friend is not better than JZ! What in heavens she has to say “Happy B-day- and in the same breath- by the way I am a better friend…… tada-tada” when she was not going to be there if Jason had not sent the airplane ticket for her to attend Bethenney’s B-day! This is the kind of people B grew up? No wonder she could not see Jill’s real colors!

    • California35 says:

Oh I heard that, I wasn’t sure if B was extra sensitive at that moment or if the friend was being insensitive. I just hoped Maybe that friend is not much in B’s life to know what she is going through rigth now.

      • Cusi77 says:

I know that Terry was B’s best friend and remember she was the maid of honor and Julie made her leave while B was getting dressed for the wedding because this gal does not have tact and was having like a mouth diarrhea and was making Bethenny nervous. Terry attacked Bethenny for not being at her birthday… I would have been hurt as well… It was supposed to be one of the big surprises in B’s B-day! Not my favourite person!

        • California35 says:

I totally agree. At the wedding, at the casinos….one moment telling her she wasn’t that great, or something like that, the next moment she is drunk,

As you said, if that is one of her old friend or who she grew up with…geeh!

I keep giving her the benefit of the doubt thinking that maybe she is not comfortable in front of the cameras, but I don’t know, she is giving me a weird vibe now,

      • quincyil says:

I think Bethenny is overly sensitive about herself, but she has Tourettes when it comes to sharing her first impressions of people with us.

Bethenny doesn’t think getting tanked is a bad thing as you can see from the hotel party with friends. By the time they were dancing in the club, they were all bombed.

I think Jason’s mother was bombed at that birthday party.

In Bethenny’s book, she talked about Alex’s boat birthday party and how she was upset about breaking up with Jason I. Bethenny knew she was drunk on national TV and her friend told her to own it. I hear that a lot from Bethenny. She goes over the line and owns it. She apologizes, but the people know she might do it again, so they are always wary.

Simon said on his twitter that they thought they would be on Bethenny’s show because they saw themselves in the promo. It doesn’t sound like Simon and Alex have a close relationship with Bethenny at all.

It’ my opinion that all of the current cast members of NYC have issues with Bethenny leaving their show. The press and the blogs say that Bethenny was crucial to the success of NYC and I’m sure the left behind cast mates are worried. The Countess says they are not. Kelly says they are not….. But I think they are.

        • BaaBee Loves Kitties says:

Morning Q ~I missed BEA. What happened? I saw on RT
that B’s mama called her demented and a liar..
How’s are you & the critters doing?

        • TLM says:

You raise an interesting point. Certainly it was in Alex’s interest to befriend Bethenny early on last season, since she knew she was moving on to her own show. I’m sure she saw it as a possible outlet for her and Simon to be featured in. I believe that Alex really did not like Jill, but I wonder if she was friendly to B because she knew B was going on to bigger and better things? Alex would not be one to hound B about appearing on her show like Jill would, but I’m sure she knew there would be a possibility of it if she got close to B. This has been her and Simon’s M.O. from the beginning of the show, and they were never shy about saying so.

          • error404 says:

B does this weird game with Alex IMHO. She opens up to Alex in a way that shocks her, and then she pulls back afterward, almost like she’s embarrassed, almost like she’s friendship commitment shy. She really treats Alex like a messed-up guy would treat a date.

          • quincyil says:

I agree with you. Simon and Alex are open to opportunities. If you remember in the winter of 2010, Jill had put rumors out in the online gawker site that Alex and Simon would be fired from RHNYC. Simon and Alex were denying the rumors, but they seem to be afraid of Bravo and probably were worried about being fired.

Jill Zarin does not fabricate things. She told the truth when she said that the producers told the NYC cast mates to step it up. My soothsayer skills tell me that a producer propably told Jill something about Alex and Simon. Jill, being a yenta and unable to hold a thought in her head without sharing it with her friends at the gawker, shared and so we read those reports.

Just look at the evidence that Alex stepped up in the reuinion of season three and now the early conflicts in season four are between Alex and Jill Zarin.

About the Twitter explosion from Simon…. I think he was drunk. I think that Simon gets on twitter and reads blogs, then he gets mad and tweets. It’s a huge mistake. Alex does not do that.

Bethenny and Simon have always had issues as some other board members have noted. On WWHL, Bethenny described Jason Hoppy as perfect because he had no desire to be on a reality show, did not blog and did not tweet. Simon does all of those things. (BTW… I think Simon is the best blogger of all of bravotv. ) Simon reads everything now that he doesn’t have the hotel job. I’m sure he either saw her say that or read about it. That’s what Simon refers to when he said Bethenny always has another meaning. However, I think Bethenny speaks without thinking and she is more off the cuff than a deep thinker so she doesn’t put hidden meaning into statements. Simon is a deep thinker and he does does put meaning in. Simon has Jill Zarin “injury list” in his cerebral cortex. He is very intelligent and he doesn’t need to write it down to be able to tweet specifics.

I think Alex is a lot nicer than Simon and she can’t control him. I think Simon has done things that Alex did not want him to do. You can see her try to control him at events like Ramona’s renewal ceremony where Alex was upset with Simon and told him not to touch her hair and later she put her fingers on his mouth as he was loud and would not stop imitating Jill’s voice.

Simon dishes it out, he is in a glass house too.

            • error404 says:

Alex and Jill are both opportunists looking for their next gig. Both hitched their wagon to B’s star. The difference is behind the ambition, Alex actually is a real person who genuinely likes B, while Jill is just a user incapable of human feelings.

              • quincyil says:

Perhaps, Simon and Alex are disappointed that they only walk alongside the wagon and are not actually sitting on it.

Bethenny distanced herself from them when she left RHNYC and I think Simon and Alex felt they supported Bethenny and now are ignored.

    • Vesper says:

I agree. I am not a fan of many of Bethenny’s friends. That Lauren annoys me as well.

I don’t think last night’s episode did B any favors. Oy…. Can you imagine if we heard Jill wailing in the bathroom like that? We’d be merciless. It was beyond awkward! How long before Jason blows? I hate the birthday type attention too, so I could relate, but I think cameras in my face would make me suck it up just a little.

      • TLM says:

I think part of the problem was what she was doing to herself with all her business ventures. Sometimes I forget what we’re watching happened about 6 months ago. She was on this insane training schedule for SWTS, was exhausted from that but still had developed insomnia. Add to that her upcoming book, problems with Skinnygirl production, the baby, Jason, and taping this show, plus all her other appearances and endorsements, and she was cracking. Granted, it was self-inflicted, but as she said at the party, she found it really hard to say no to any offers. I think she is very cognizant of the fact that fame can be fleeting, and while she’s hot, she needs to do anything and everything she can to build financial security for her family. She said it felt like grabbing a branch in a storm and hanging on for dear life. So to add a birthday party to all that when she’s not into that kind of attention, I think pushed her over the edge. When you’re sleep-deprived and stressed out, anything can make you burst into tears. It happened to me at a work function I was rushing to get to after my internal clock was all screwed up from working different shifts. It just hit me like a brick wall.

        • TLM says:

Oh, and I forgot, working on Skinnygirl shapewear & the website, SG Daily Cleanse, SG Training, which launched rather quietly a couple of weeks ago — did everyone know she’s offering menus & weight calculators, etc. for a monthly subscription online? – and let’s not forget her skincare line. I would bet you that she’s working on a cookware line a la Rachael Ray. I’m actually surprised she didn’t come out with cookware sooner, since she’s a chef. (A chef, not a cook!). She’s actually said that she should be making money off of the immersion blenders she tells people to use so often. So it’s hard for me to believe she’s not working on a cookware line, or a partnership with Cuisinart, whose immersion blender she uses.

      • TLM says:

Lauren strikes me as a very hard-partying girl who kind of caved in and got married, but is still the same person & kind of wild. I imagine her as living this very controlled life in the suburbs, and then when she sees Bethenny, it’s a license to go crazy. LOL. Who knows if that’s accurate, but that’s what it looks like. She scares me a little bit, but she does seem like a nice person.

  50. lillybee says:

OMG, did the party planned get his ideas from Sandra Lee.

  51. VAgirl says:

Good morning, everyone. I know it’s very early, but if anyone is interested, Bethenny is going to be on Imus in the Morning (Fox Business Network) at 8:35 EST this morning. My wonderful hubby said he is taping it for me because he know’s I like her. Isn’t that sweet? Imus can be very snarky, but she can definitely give him a run for his money. It will probably be very nicey, nicey though since she is promoting her book.

    • TLM says:

I don’t receive that channel. She’s been saying she was ill the last couple days on Twitter, so I’m kind of surprised she’s doing it. I personally can’t stand Imus. She must just be doing it for the book. I had heard she was on Hannity’s show in the past, which I thought was strange, but she somehow makes it work.

      • Lavalady says:

Thanks, VA. I was able to catch her on Imus. I thought she did great, and she looked really good.

  52. BaaBee Loves Kitties says:

Good morning~I don’t like Imus~never got over that racial remark of his. He is creepy.
I am also an Obama woman.

  53. Kukulet says:

Hey, Simon? Chill. People are starving around the world. THIS is not that big a deal.

    • error404 says:

I can see why he’d be a little over sensitive. Shill planted a story about him being a fall down drunk. Luckily she’s since proven herself a pathological liar, but still, it’s a rumor he has to live with. B mentioning him being drunk each and every time he’s on her show must pick at the scab I’m sure. Yeah, I agree he perhaps over reacting, but it still boggles the mind on why she keeps picking on a “friend”. I actually don’t believe B speaks before thinking. She’s not Ramona.

      • OneMoreInBoston says:

I agree with you error- I think when B. speaks she knows exactly what she’s doing.

  54. WindyCityWondering says:

Simon was bombed at Bethenny’s wedding so I think the remark about him getting bombed was Bethenny wanting distractions/diversions at the dreaded birthday bash. Jill has done more to damage his reputation and career than that remark…maybe he was miffed that he go so little air time during the birthday party. Jellybeans??

  55. butterisafruit says:

I just watched Bethany. She’s so refreshing. And Imus likes her..he made a dig at Jill.
Now I have to go vote. Have a good day everyone.

  56. HD says:

Regarding Simon…I always pay attention to what people say because although they may not know it is a dead giveaway of the REAL issue.

Simon said, “Twas a cheap shot which let’s face it is her MO. While I admire her success it shouldn’t come at the expense of others.”

Okay…she made a joke about you being bombed. If he drinks a lot or not, I don’t know. I think almost all the housewives drink a lot. However, why mention her success? That has nothing to do with what she said. To me the REAL issue is that Bethanny was the breakout star, got the show, got the Skinnygirl deal, got the TV show appearances, etc. etc. and none of them did. Her success was never called into question in the joke. Simon being bombed was. Ultimately, I feel he is suffering from a little issue called sour grapes.

Also might I add, Simon has too much damn time on his hands. Dude, ALEX IS THE HOUSEWIFE!!! I don’t see any other husband doing this mess. Hell I haven’t even heard from that Salihi dude. GET A DAMN JOB and let ALEX BE THE HOUSEWIFE!

    • BaaBee Loves Kitties says:

Tell us how you really feel Hannah~lol. Good morning sunshine. 🙂

      • HD says:

LOL! Good morning! He is just too damn involved! He has always been like this. Alex got 30 seconds of fame and he couldn’t wait to ride that wave. Dude, in about a year, you won’t even be relevant. These shows can’t go on forever. Sorry to bust his bubble but YOU ARE NOT REALLY FREAKING FAMOUS! Although Alex is a nice person SHE IS NOT AGELINA JOLIE you are NOT BRAD PITT! In the big scheme of life PEOPLE HAVE NO CLUE WHO YOU ARE! GET A JOB and stop inserting yourself into housewife stuff. I don’t know whose worse, him or Slade. Sheesh!!

        Oh…Good morning, Baabee!

        • error404 says:

I think you’ve missed it completely. All this twittering IS Simon trying to get a job. It’s obvious that RHoNY is a stepping stone for them, not an end result. I think it’s naive to assume this is all just annoying Simon inserting himself where he doesn’t belong. He has fans. I think they will eventually get their own show of some sort, even if it’s not on Bravo. Silex is a team and it so happened that their foot in the door was her on RHoNY, but it could be that she is not good at social media and without him would end up like Dull Jen or Cindy NotBarStop… kinda just there. He certainly keeps their name out there, so I’d say he is doing his “job”.

          • HD says:

What a job! Twittering. I am thankful I am one that never wanted to be important because I was attached to someone that was.

            • quincyil says:

Actually, you are a famous poet and we are glad you are here so we can say that we know a famous poet. Remember Jill saying that she was proud that she was with Kelly when Ally had the magazine photo shoot.

That’s how I feel about sharing with you and all of the people here.

            • error404 says:

Again I respectfully disagree. You may think Simon is nothing more than “Mr Alex McCord” but I disagree, and I certainly think Silex does too. They are a team, Burns&Allen, Sigfreied&Roy, that’s why he’s so ubiquitous on RHoNY.
And as someone who’s currently making a living in social media, I can’t help but feel a little dissed by the insinuation that I don’t have a real job.

              • HD says:

Did I ever say people can’t make money in social media? Mark Zuckerberg would certainly find that laughable at best. Is Simon getting a paycheck, as you are in your form of social media. Obviously this is your career so why you feel slighted I am unsure. Is this Simon’s career that supports his family-twittering about BETHANNY’s show?

I am not speaking about you Error, so let’s not make it personal. I am speaking about Simon, a man that has shown himself to be a social climber since his first appearance on the show.

You and I can agree to disagree all day long. That is the beauty of having an opinion. And mine is as I stated above in regards to SIMON. Not you.

                • error404 says:

Oh I know. I was just trying to explain, even perhaps to just myself, why I was spending so much mental energy on this silly issue. It is just after all two D-List celebrities having another tedious twitterwar! lol

            • Nancy says:

This is how my husband introduces me…
“This is my wife Nancy, she USED to be famous.” I think it’s funny.

        • BaaBee Loves Kitties says:

LOL~Just watching the last half of BEA & I am not feeling the love for her right now. Poor Jason. I think Alex is alright but don’t know what to make of Simon.
          How are doing today?

    • error404 says:

Still, she could show a bit more grace. She became a fan favorite by slagging off her castmates. Now that she’s “won”, gotten her own spinoff and left RHoNY there really is no reason for her to continue pot shots at her former castmates. Silex is on her show either because she is their friend, or because she needs them for crossover viewers. Either way, she should perhaps avoid pouring salt in their wounds. Unless she hates them and Bravo forces them on her show and this is her passive-agressive revenge.

      • WindyCityWondering says:

Jill must be in heaven because someone else took a shot a Bethenny! IMO, Simon knew it was a joke and was desperately looking for some attention.

        • HD says:

I agree. I think he is seriously trying to get some attention and as Kelly would say, “it’s creepy.” 🙂

        • quincyil says:

I think Jill is in heaven over this. Jill or her employees read this board. There is a lot of evidence that they read this board.

To have Bethenny and Simon fighting is a good day for Jill Zarin.

Alex said that they don’t have much contact with Bethenny. They text on occasion. I think Simon and Alex and thrown their lot in with Jill.

Simon and Alex and the chums will be featured in the video series on bravotv.com That show will be about their family and their activities. I think it’s a test for their popularity.

          • HD says:

Quite honestly, and I am well aware that everyone loves Alex and Simon this board, but they are a normal couple. I don’t want to watch anything about them and their kids. A video series? That is just insane. I am not going to come online to watch Alex and Simon do things with their children. I don’t know who thinks of these shows.

            • error404 says:

LOL! Point taken. However, I’ve just given up. I wouldn’t watch a show about joe nobodies doing a scavenger hunt for all the tea in China, yet Amazing Race is one of TV’s biggest hits. Would I watch a show about clueless women who need to hire a friggin expert panel just to name their baby? Bravo thought so, but they we soooo wrong! lol

            • WindyCityWondering says:

Have to agree – no interest in watching the family. But am glad they have an additional income source!

        • I have no doubt that Jill will stir the pot because she loves this kind of stuff, especially when someone is attacking her “enemy”.

  57. HD says:

And when I think about it…what exactly did Jill do to Alex that made her shake with fury when Jill came to the island? Why was Alex so mad at Jill?

    • quincyil says:

The fight was probably a lot worse than they showed us on TV and Alex was already emotional from the interaction with Kelly. Ramona told Jill that Alex and Bethenny would leave if Jill came. I think the battles behind the scenes raged for months and Bravo only catches glimmers of the battles.

    • Noreen says:

I think it’s because Jill treated and treats Alex like she is unimportant and lucky to even be in there crowd. I was watching the NY3 reunion over the weekend and was horrified by how mean LuMan, Jill and Kelly were to Ramona. To them, she is a poser and someone they can humiliate whenever they choose. I know we overuse this term, but it is so highschool.

And I totally agree with you about Simon. Bethenny and her crowd and the entire HW franchise is nothing more than a giant cocktail party so why would that comment upset anyone. Even at lunch with the party planner, Bethenny was all excited about the wine. I think Simon is blowing this way of of proportion.

      • Noreen says:

        Sorry! “their” crowd. Ugh!

      • error404 says:

Definitely blowing it out of proportion. But why? I think it’s combo of 1. it hit a raw nerve. We all get most upset by accusation we fear are true. 2. it’s salt in the Jill wound. 3. it’s a two way st. He may be being oversensitive but B is being a tad insensitive. I personally would find it exhausting to be around these friends who all “tell it like it is”. Yeah, like it is in their warped view of the world! and 4. He is afterall a fame whore, as are all ‘bravolebrities’ so why would he miss this opportunity to get his name out there. If he tweets enough, radaronline or some such place may pick it up.

        • Noreen says:

Agree! And I think Bethenny could be more sensitive too, especially during the interview sections. I guess I want her to be friends with Alex and I don’t think she really is. I’ll have to let it go!

        • quincyil says:

It’s called, “projection.” Simon has inner concerns that he does drink too much. He does not want to deal with his person issue, so he gets mad at Bethenny for pointing out the obvious, Simon likes to get bombed.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Alex was making friends/alliances and Jill wanted her isolate, marginalized and off the show. I never understood Jill’s logic, but as Alex’s stock rose, Jill’s hatred became too transparent – how could she possibly believe that she could regain a friendship with Bethenny while she attacked one of B’s friends so relentlessly??

    • Nancy says:

      HD,
      Have you seen season 1 2 & 3?

  58. skogsstig says:

What do you know? Kelly Beensomeone and Paris Hilton have the same “taste” in dresses. 😉

  59. Cut the BS says:

Ok first off I was put off by this bloggers poor grammar…have we not heard of spell check?? Champagne was clearly misspelled several times and the use of “should have been”?? Where they do that at?? Besides the poor grammar it was obviod their viewpoint was Team Gretchen & Alexis by the commentary and bashing of the other wives. Gretchen is the most opportunistic person I’ve ever seen with using a dying old man for money and partying it up while he was on his deathbed…go figure?? Then you tell Vicki to slow down with work but hello??did you not check the forecast of this economy? Alexis is throwing relaxation parties in the midst of a foreclosure? This is ridiculous. Also to criticize Jill for giving $500?? It’s not the size of the gift right?? I could not resist the temptation to reply…if this is what is in store for the future writers of America…we are in BIG trouble…lol 🙂 Good day!
