IHJZ Real Housewives of Orange County / Celebrity Apprentice / Mob Wives and more!

I Hate Jill Zarin             Sunday Night Lineup!

What did you watch on TV last night?  What an offering!  Celebrity Apprentice, Real Housewives of Orange County, Mob Wives and Watch What Happens Live all aired last night but Quincy and I were able to cover them all!  The TV Land Awards also aired last night, The Real Housewives of New York attended and presented an award.

NeNe didn’t flip out just yet, we anticipated that this might be the night but as the cast shrinks down to seven and Trump finally caved into the men and fired Gary Busey, NeNe is ready to blow any minute now.  Quincy has all the details for you right here!

Quincy did double duty last night and also took care of covering Mob Wives that debuted on VH1.  Let’s start with the Housewives of Orange County:

The Real Housewives of Orange County  by LynnNChicago~

Oh My Gawd just when I thought I found the biggest bitch in Orange County, another Housewife takes the screen. The ultimate mean girls are apparently trying to out-do each other and see who can talk more crap about their fellow housewife. It’s a horserace ladies and gentlemen and they are neck and neck.

Bringing up the rear is Alexis who is still holding onto a grudge against Tamra for bringing mace as a joke, to her Botox party. Tamra is inappropriate but that is something that her friends will have to deal with if they plan on hanging with the trashiest housewife. Alexis seemed more upset that Tamra gave Vicki a can of mace and dragging her into it. Vicki, who insists that Tamra has her back, stuck the knife right into Tamra’s back by telling Alexis she agreed it was inappropriate and wanted no part of the mace joke. In the end, however, Tamra did apologize to Alexis but Alexis didn’t accept the apology. Is this Alexis’ way of remaining relevant I suppose, she does get credit for not speaking behind anyone’s back, so far.

Then we have Gretchen fighting to run a clean race but running forth tonight as she tells Slade to his face that he is fat. She told her two dogs that they are fat because they apparently overeat when they visit their other custodial parent, Gretchen’s ex-husband Chris.

Gretchen allows Slade to break his diet and dine with newest Housewife, Peggy and her husband where Gretchen takes this opportunity to ensure that Peggy knows that Tamra is a snake. All true but it would probably have been better if Gretchen and Slade would have allowed Peggy to figure that out on her own.

Gretchen seemed to go really overboard with the “fat” talk, if she talked about wanting the people (and dogs) that she loved to eat right for their health, she would have come across much better  but instead it seems to be a vanity thing for her.  She went so far as to take her dogs to the vet simply to get a letter from him stating that the dogs are obese so that her ex-husband, Chris wouldn’t feed them so much food.  Slade’s vet concurred.

Peggy’s true colors came through, running third, the newest housewife sat listening to Gretchen slam Tamra, then had lunch with Tamra, repeated everything that Gretchen told her and cackled her way through lunch slamming Gretchen and her so-called friend Alexis. Peggy tells us in her interview that she doesn’t mind Gretchen so much but her boyfriend is questionable. I can’t hold that against her, Slade is questionable in any situation but Peggy has proven to be a backstabber-in-training and learning fast!  Wasn’t Alexis her friend for many years?  How quickly and easily they turn ugly!

Running second, veteran housewife Vicki Gunvalson is Tamra’s gossip buddy who attacks both Alexis and Gretchen. Vicki has already shown us her true colors by slamming every housewife at one time or another, she has also thrown her own husband under the bus on many occasions. Even housewives who have been cheated on and dumped by their husband’s (Luann, Camille) haven’t been as vicious to their men on screen as Vicki, she wins the prize hands down for being the worst wife to her man. I lost all respect for Vicki when she was constantly slapping Donn on screen for absolutely no reason. She was really rude to him at the race track a few seasons back, so rude that even Tamra noticed, and Tamra is completely clueless. It is easy to see why Simon Barney didn’t want his wife playing in the sandbox with Vicki.

Best we can tell Donn Gunvalson has been faithful, loving and supportive of his wife yet Vicki continues to treat him like a doormat. Word spread like wildfire during the off-season that this couple were getting divorced and it did come as a surprise because when last we saw the happy couple, they were renewing their wedding vows in Turks and Caicos. Their touching and romantic vacation seemed to have refreshed and renewed their marriage. Donn just seems to go with the flow, if Vicki is feeling him at any given time he is there for her. When Vicki gets an urge to go meet younger guys in bars, Donn stays home doing yard work waiting patiently for his wife to return to him, this time she didn’t come home.  Again, we can only discuss what we see, Vicki hasn’t told us that Donn has done anything wrong, we haven’t seen Donn do anything so hateful to deserve the treatment he receives from his wife.  She is very dismissive and you have to wonder if she ever really loved him.  Even if you’ve fallen out of love with your husband, do you have to be so cruel to him?

Vicki’s hurtful comments about her long time husband make her a difficult to like, the worst part is that she doesn’t seem to realize or care that she’s hurting the man’s feelings. Her comments about her kids being raised and gone leaving her nothing to come home to are inexcusable and to say them on camera to the world is really cruel. Tonight she makes an effort to make time and Donn seems happily ignorant of his wife’s disdain for him. He smiles and thanks her for making time for a date night but Vicki looks at him like he is a child who has misbehaved and can’t hide her contempt for her husband.

Apparently Donn can’t order wine correctly, he can’t even look at his menu properly. Vicki can’t remember how old her husband is, she said, “pushing 60” while he reminded her that he is 57, Vicki reminds us that being 10-years younger than her him is affecting their future and life’s goals. While Donn is looking forward to retiring soon, Vicki only sees herself working because she enjoys it, she actually seems obsessed with it.

While Vicki has been hinting all season that things are not great with her husband, I am happy for Donn because hopefully now he can find a woman who will truly love, respect and care about him. It saddens me that he only wanted to grow old with and live his life with this vile woman, it seems as though he gave everything that he had to her and she threw it all away.

Mean Girls

Luckily we didn’t have to watch Vicki sell insurance today and she refrained from spanking anyone but we heard for the umpteenth time that she stays at her office until midnight or later. What the hell is this woman doing at that hour? Does she run a call girl business after regular business hours? She can’t be calling or meeting with insurance clients at that hour, does she have that much paperwork? If you have to put in 15-hour work days every day, something is really wrong. Vicki either needs more help in her office or she needs to get a whole lot better at what she does.

Are there any Orange County Housewives worth knowing? The only one left, the one in first place for “head vile bitch in charge of the OC Housewives”, Tamra Barney. Did you know that this woman thinks that she’s funny? Tamra wants to be Bethenny Frankel so bad she can taste it, the problem is Tamra isn’t funny. All Housewives should watch their back around Tamra Barney, she has already inserted herself into Gretchen’s life, she’s been attacking Gretchen since the minute Gretchen arrived on the show. Whether or not Gretchen deserves Tamra’s wrath, she couldn’t possibly have earned it during their first meeting yet that is when Tamra started attacking Gretchen.

Personally I gained a little bit of respect for Tamra when she stood up to Vicki last season. Vicki was wrong and Tamra didn’t let her get away with it. Vicki did try to come between Tamra and her husband, regardless of what Vicki felt about Simon Barney she had no right to get involved in their marriage. Tamra tried to confide in her friend Vicki and instead of finding comfort and support Vicki thought it would be a good idea to confront Tamra’s husband about their marital problems. Who does that?

Tamra tried to explain to Vicki that she has to stand by her husband and if Vicki was going to force her to take sides, she had to side with the man that she lives with. Vicki couldn’t seem to understand that and maybe that is the reason Vicki will never have a good marriage. Vicki thinks that it is ok to ridicule and bash her husband.

Tonight Vicki visited Tamra and exchanged gifts, a housewarming gift for Tamra and a “My friend went to Spain and all I got was this rosary” for Vicki. They proceeded to do the only thing that these ladies do anymore, they gossiped and bitch slapped Alexis and Gretchen.

Tamra met with new Housewife, Peggy they gossiped and bitch slapped Alexis and Gretchen.

Tamra met with Alexis and first defended, then apologized for her behavior at Alexis’ Botox party, Alexis did not accept the apology.

There is not one redeemable woman among this group.

Off screen, Gretchen is being sued, once again. This time by her business partner who claims Gretchen cut her out of the business Gretchen Christine Beauty cosmetics line. This isn’t a line that Gretchen created, tested and developed. Gretchen slapped her name on someone else’s cosmetics and was selling it as her own. She may as well have been an Avon lady.

Tamra, who claims she only wants what is best for her children, goes on a romantic getaway with her boyfriend for 10-days and doesn’t bother to mention it to the father of her children. Her excuse? She didn’t know how Simon would handle it. So? Deal with it Tamra, this is your life now! It is great that she made arrangements for her mother to care for the kids during her scheduled 5-days with the kids but the fact is she should have given Simon the opportunity to be with his kids while Tamra was out-of-town. Anyone could have anticipated that Simon would find out that Tamra was gone and it was only a matter of time before he found out she was in Spain with Eddie Judge.

Peggy just happens to be the one who told Simon Barney that his ex-wife was in Spain with her new boy toy, what a small world, huh? Peggy tells Tamra she was so sorry to slip up like that, it was just an accident that she blurted out that Tamra was in Spain with Eddie. Oops! What are the odds? I think we’re going to find that Peggy is just as much of a snake as the others, she fits in well with this group.

The fact that Peggy is slamming her “good friend” Alexis so early in the season tells us what kind of woman she is, at least Alexis waited until she watched on-screen how horrible Peggy was in her talking head interviews. There is no loyalty here, not one of these OC Housewives are trustworthy and they all own big long knives that fit perfectly into the back of any Housewife.

Finally something interesting coming up next Sunday, Jeana Keough and Lynne Curtain return to stir up some fun!

Jeana’s appearance preview:

http://www.bravotv.com/the-real-housewives-of-orange-county/season-6/videos/tension-between-jeana-keough-and-tamra-barney

Lynne Curtain also returns next week and runs into Fernanda, Lynne breaks the news to Fernanda that Tamra isn’t a lesbian, she likes men.  I’m not sure why this is news to Fernanda except that as I said in an earlier blog, Tamra is wrong to lead this woman on, to even flirt like she is romantically interested in Fernanda is cruel.  It seems as though Fernanda ends up getting hurt as we see her running out crying.  Is this the reason why she was dumped as a housewife?

The Orange County housewives’ blogs are up, Tamra’s is missing but it doesn’t really matter, her’s are typically full of lies anyway.

Watch What Happens Live – by LynnNChicago~

I hope Andy disinfected the clubhouse after last night’s show.  Trashy Tamra Barney and her boy toy Eddie Judge appeared on the show and held hands throughout the show.  Tamra’s girls were on full display, Andy’s standard opening question about breast enhancement surgery was explained away by Tamra as simply being a bit overweight.  Everybody knows… that the first place that extra weight goes is right inside those silicone breast implants.  (thanks Phaedra)   Naturally Andy doesn’t get how ridiculous Tamra’s response is because he doesn’t listen to his guest’s responses.

I found it ironic that Tammy Sue tells us that Gretchen talks about her every chance she gets, as Tammy Sue is talking about Gretchen.  Andy didn’t get that one either, so she wasn’t called out on her hypocrisy.

Tonight’s poll question, “Who would you rather?”  Your choices, sadly are Slade Smiley and Eddie Judge.  If ever they needed a “none of the above” choice it was this show.

Andy’s three obsessions start with Gretchen calling her honey Slade fat, keeping score on-screen Cohen counted 11 times in one episode that Gretchen slammed Slade.  Yet Gretchen can’t understand why Slade is upset?

Second Andy was obsessed with Tamra’s tour of Alexis’ home on-screen, he briefly asked her about her rude comments of Alexis and Jim’s financial problems but it was really all about a photograph that producers shot up close of Jim Bellino in a beefcake pose on a beach.

Tamra tells us that she was justified making her snide comments about the Bellino’s losing their home, you see because Tamra put her short sale on-screen, Jim and Alexis should “own it”.   In fact, Tamra wasn’t even appropriate to ask Alexis what was going on with her home, it was rude and classless.  Who is Tammy Sue to tell anyone to “own it”?  She went off on Vicki last season for talking about her short sale, yet it was ok for Tamra to do it to Alexis?

ANDY COHEN!  Why don’t you ask these questions?

Andy’s third and final obsession was Jay Mohr’s story that he told on a previous show about Gretchen and Slade trying to convince him that Eddie was gay.  Tamra said she wasn’t surprised and claimed to know that Gretchen and Slade tried to sell the same story to tabloids.

Tamra shows how really classless she is here by telling viewers to go to TheDirty.com to find all the legal issues that Gretchen is having right now.  Tamra seems to know that web site very well, Tammy Sue appears on that site frequently.  This woman acts like a teenage mean girl, nothing looks worse than trying to slam another woman the way that Tamra does it, she is so not ready to run with the big boys.  She comes off as mean and petty, not entertaining and funny.  You are no Bethenny Frankel!

Tamra decides to put a bath-tub sex scene on television, admitting she set the whole thing up and had to pry Eddie with several shots of tequila in order to get him to go along with this fiasco.  Imagine walking into the bathroom to find your girlfriend naked in a bathtub with cameramen, sound guys and producers surrounding her.  If he didn’t dump Tamra after that, he’s in it for the long haul.

The fact that Bravo “accidentally” released the video of Tamra in the tub that showed her naked breasts never came up, this is the stuff we want Andy to ask.

Oops Bravo released it...

I thought the whole discussion about pregnancy and babies was very strange.  Tamra confirmed she is not pregnant, just packed on a few pounds but the problem of Eddie wanting children and Tamra not wanting anymore children apparently has still not been resolved.  Tammy Sue seems to think that having a surrogate carry and deliver a baby is a possible solution.  “Sarah Jessica Parker did it” she said.  You are NO SJP Tammy Sue!

Andy’s game for the evening involved asking Eddie a series of questions to determine whether or not he was gay.  He passed with flying colors.  I really like Eddie a lot more than Tamra, but was disappointed that he said he would not ask Tamra to sign a pre-nuptial agreement.  Did you ever want to scream a warning at someone on your television screen?

The show returned from commercial break to find that only one camera was working.  Isn’t it amazing how so many live shows come off without a hitch, yet we see so many issues with WWHL.  Moving on….

Jacqueline Laurita from The Real Housewives of New Jersey made a brief guest appearance, Andy asked her to describe the upcoming season in one word and she chose “outrageous” it was a very random appearance with no explanation as to what she was doing there, worse she wouldn’t answer the question of which Bravo housewife she doesn’t like, “I love them all!”  I wasn’t buying it, I’ll bet she hates Luann just like the rest of the New Jersey housewives.

Thursday Andy will host Denise Richards and Alex McCord

Mob Wives  by Quincy IL

Renee Graziano’s father is Anthony Graziano . He is currently incarcerated in a federal prison.  When asked what Renee knows about this, she says, “What mob?” Karen knew her dad worked 5 to 9 and provided extra gifts that fell off trucks.  She lives on Staten Island and enjoys glitz and glamour.  She feels untouchable and loves power.  She can walk into any restaurant and they know she is Anthony Graziano’s daughter.  She has a 16 year old son.  Renee tells us that there is a code of ethics in the underworld of honor and respect.  A rat doesn’t need to get in your business. She owns a lynx fur coat and she considers herself a Mafia Princess. Her home is Staten Island, NYC.

Welcome to Phoenix, Arizona. Karen Gravano is the daughter of Sammy the Bull.  In 1990, her father cooperated with the federal officers to take down the mob and many people went to prison because of this.  Karen fled from Staten Island to Phoenix to create a new life for her daughter and herself.  Karen’s 11 year old daughter is her BFF.  She says that her daughter is her only friend.  She is writing a book about her life and she is going to return to Staten Island to get in back in the frame of mind of a mobster’s daughter.  She doesn’t give a F****  about what anyone else thinks.

Carla Facciola’s husband is Joseph Ferrangoma.  He is currently incarcerated for Stock Fraud. Carla does not feel this is a significant crime.   Carla’s father was in the underworld.  Carla has 2 eight year old twins who were 2 ½ years old when their r father went to prison.  They think their dad is working.  She also lives on Staten Island.

Drita S AVanzo’s husband is Lee D/Avanzo .  Lee is currently incarcerated for robbing a bank.  Drita lives on Staten Island. Drita is tough.  She shows her fighting skills. She states that if she is coming for you, she is going to get you.   The phone rings with a pretaped call from Lee in a New York State correctional facility.  Drita receives a call from Lee 5 times a week with shopping lists.  She gathers the items and sends them in a box to the prison.  This takes time and she hardly can keep up with her personal fitness needs. Lee will be home in 2 months.

The Staten Island women have a girls’ night out and they prepare to look great with hair, makeup, jewelry and cloths.  They share prison stories. They talk about some of their dates. The men are not bad guys unless they bring harm to the family.  They discuss Karen’s return.  They all know her, but her dad was a snitch.  You don’t rat on your friends.  Everyone cut ties with Sammy, the Bull, Karen’s dad.

Drita understands being cut off. Her dad is a college coach and she has been disowned by her parents for marrying into the mob. Her parents are from the Ukraine and they are law abiding citizens.

Karen is shown with a suitcase leaving her house in Phoenix.  She is not afraid to return to Staten Island.  She states, “You can get hit by a car or get a bullet in the back of your head.”

Drita and Karen were good friends.  Karen lived with Drita’s husband, Lee for 7 years.  Drita does not think this will be a problem, but Karen says she would not have dated her friend’s boyfriend.

It’s Carla’s birthday and she is having a party at a club.  Drita and Carla discuss inviting Karen. They know that Renee will have issues as her father instructed her to cut ties with Karen.  Drita suggests inviting Karen to Carla and Carla says that she will invite Karen herself. They feel Renee always wants to be the center of attention, but this is Carla’s party so she will do what she wants.

The women prepare for the party.  They have expensive clothes and jewels. Renee states that “No one disrespects me.”

They meet at the club.  The confrontation begins, but will continue next week

Great job Quincy!  Thank you, I can’t wait to watch the show!

The Celebrity Apprentice by Quincy

The men discuss Gary Busey and they are really concerned about his behavior. They don’t know if he is smart or crazy.  They don’t know if he is behaving erratically on purpose or not.  Gary feels that there is an alliance against him. John Rich calls Gary,” a saboteur. “

La Toya was the winning team leader last week and she has $65,000 for AIDS LA, a charity supported by her brother Michael Jackson when he was alive.

This week’s product sponsor for the competition is Omaha Steaks, a family owned business since 1917. This company distributes meat products purchased from the best meat producers/ranchers/farmers.

The task is to a create a package of meats that will be sold by the company, give a branding message and an overall presentation in the studio of a Culinary Institute. They will create three meals and the presentation should involve a live cooking lesson.  The winning team leader’s charity will receive $20,000 from Mr. Trump and some of the profit from the sale of the package of meat the winning team creates will also go to the charity.

Hope Dworaczk is the team leader for the women.  Mr. Trump reminds us that she is the Playmate of the Year and she is young compared to the other women. Mr. Trump asks hope if she eats red meat.  She says that she is from Texas so she does, but in the interview she shares that she does not eat red meat.  Gary Busey is the team leader of the men’s team, but the team members show concern. Mr. Trump questions Lil John about Gary and he holds back his opinion at this time.

Two members of the men’s team know how to cook: Lil John and John Rich.  Gary does not ask that question.  Gary does ask the executives how the meat is slaughtered and they look uncomfortable discussing that on national TV.  They describe the aging of the meat and flash freezing.  Gary asks if what suspended animation means when they mention that term.

The women’s team decides who will cook: Nene, Star and La Toya.  Hope and Marlee will host the presentation.  Later this changes. Star is worried about healthy cooking as she has had open heart surgery.  She discovers that filet mignon in a petite file of 3 to 4 oz. is the best choice for someone who wants to eat heart healthy.

The women’s theme will be “Poker Night.”  The menu will include vegetables and desert.

The men’s have difficulty organizing. Lil John is not assigned an task.  Meat Loaf is told by Gary that he should do all of the cooking.  John Rich is frustrated and he shares that in interviews. Gary is confronted and asked to make decisions.  His reaction is to go outside on the balcony in the cold wind and be alone. The men decide that Gary will sink or swim, but they will do their assigned tasks and not help him or cover for him.

Hope is worried about La Toya giving a presentation because she has a baby voice and voices concern that someone is going to end up hitting her.  Nene also criticizes La Toya.

Both teams meet with chefs to discuss the best way to cook meat.   Both teams discuss their variety packs.  Gary wants his to have flavors, but the company does not produce that type of meat. The men are miserable and don’t want to deal with Gary anymore.  The men decide on the name for their meat package: “Ultimate Celebration Variety Pack.”

La Toya grew up with personal chefs and does not know how to cook. Nene says, “This is America.” She can’t believe that someone does not know how to cook a burger.  Star again takes over graphics and the design of an apron to be given to the audience after the meal.  The women will serve a 4 oz. filet mignon, burger and lobster.

Ivanka Trump visits the men and listens to their complaints.  She said it was like group therapy and it was fascinating. Gary tells Lil John to cut up paper so numbers can be given to the audience and those winning members of the audience will eat the 3 dinners prepared by Meat Loaf after the presentation.  The men say they will prepare chateau briand.  lobster tail and a boned steak, but their hand outs will not reflect this in the end as Gary does not write the menu correctly. He also has spelling error in the printed material. The menu mentions crab legs and they do not cook crab legs as it was not part of the original discussion.

The women do errands, pick up groceries and practice the meat preparation.  The men spend a lot of time waiting for Gary to make decisions and they fail to rehearse their presentation.

Nene has no trouble cooking, but La Toya’s burger goes up in flames as she added oil and it caught fire. She says it will burn itself out and she is correct.

The women’s presentation goes smoothly, but only Nene actually cooks for the audience and judges. They have their menu and have created their package of meat for “Poker Night.”  Nene ends the demonstration and says, “Omaha, “not “Omaha Steaks.”

Gary and his team present.  Gary tells long stories for each of their dinners. One is titled, “Father’s Day,” and the audience is confused.  Meat Loaf actually shows the audience how to cook the meat and his portion of the presentation is successful.  Lil John and John Rich have little to do. The men draw numbers and two women and one executive of the company are asked to sit at a table and sample the meat. They all say it was perfectly cooked.

The two teams go to the board room. The men are disgruntled and they tell Mr. Trump that Gary failed to make decisions and ruined the menu.  Meat Loaf was extremely frustrated and unable to voice all of his concerns.  John Rich told Mr. Trump that Gary called him, “a boy.” Gary said that he said, “ca-boy.”  No one believed Gary.

Adios Lunatic

The women felt that they worked well.  Nene at first said Hope did a great job and then she changed it to good.  Mr. Trump implies that Nene is negative and she is offended and becomes quiet.

The judges find good and bad things to say about both teams.  The executives liked the “Poker Night Theme”, but wished the women would have cooked more during the presentation.  The executives did not like the meat package that Gary wrapped in black tissue paper and felt it would not sell. They did not like the audience having to eat meat and comment either.  In the end the winner is the women’s team so they leave the board room.   Hope’s Charity, Best Buddy, which helps children with intellectual disabilities, will receive $20,000 from Mr. Trump and a portion of the profits from the sale of the meat package that they designed. Nene leaves the group and is sad because she was singled out for comments and she doesn’t feel she is negative.

Gary states that the three men on her team worked well.  The men are unable with Gary.  Mr. Trump fired Gary and the men thank Mr Trump.

From Entertainment Weekly regarding TV Land Awards:

Worst presenter: The Real Housewives of New York, who introduced a tribute montage to TV housewives. Truly, I believe the ladies were there simply because they agreed to get up and dance to Hall & Oates, who received the Icon award. (Hall & Oates performed “Rich Girl.” I’m just sayin’.)

CA is a glorious window into rightwing $worshiping USA. Love it! And no one is better at it than Ms. Star Jones, who wastes no time in using her salesmanship and open-heart surgery tear-jerker story to pass off red meat as “health food” to otherwise salad chomping housewives. This woman would sell a used car with faulty brakes to her own grandma, and thus may win CA. LOL

Marlee and Nene prove yet again to have some business smarts and all but force the other women to bank of Poker Night’s trendiness and the greatest American Icon of all time, the hamburger. Hope and LaToya continue to show they haven’t a clue. But LaT does know how to brand (taking a drink every time LaT mentions her famous clan should be a new game!) and how to Reality TV pose (every time someone asks her what time it is she expertly twists the request into yet another example on how the whole world is in on a vast plot to get her) .

Nene’s inferiority complex will be her nemesis yet again probably. You would think that after 3 years in the pool of sharks that is RHoAt she’d be ticker skinned, but every bitchy passive aggressive dig from celebs who are floundering on the show sends her into a tailspin. Witch Dionne got in her head, and now baby-talk LaT who apparently can’t even boil water with paid staff to do it for her, is in her head. She needs whatever the reality tv equivolent of a sport’s psychologist is.

Yesterday, I googled CA and there were quotes from Hope about Nene flipping out and Star hiring a body guard. Apparently, she doesn’t know what episode they are on. This must happen in the future though or why would Hope say that in an article.

Gary was Gary last night, but other than that I thought no one was outrageous. The girls have the advantage in their are more of them to complete tasks.

      • error404 says:

Not really. It’s basically John, Meat and Lil Jon vs. Star, Marlee and Nene. Every time the mens team put two steps forward, Gary always sent them one step back, and Hope and LaT are as useful as Star’s dog.

      • error404 says:

Star and Nene seem to unravel starting next week, but despite all of the bad press each has been shopping all over town, it was touching to see Star still defending her last night and even giving her a little heart -to-heart pep talk.

        • quincyil says:

Mr. Trump asks Nene’s opinion and then tells her she is negative. The castmates are exhausted. You can see it. When you are that tired, tempers sometimes flare.

  2. HD says:

I was very upset with Vicki even through this morning until I read her blog. Nothing sooooo eye opening but it just reminded me that I don’t know what is truly going on in their marriage for the past 16 years. I do not know her reasons for the way she is acting or for that matter if Donn is that innocent. I would like to think he is but I don’t know. Marriage can be a very complicated situation at times and I am a firm believer that no one works like Vicki works just because. Perhaps she is running from something within her marriage. I don’t know. I wish her and Donn the best even in going their seperate ways. Sometimes that is what is for the best. You only have one life to live and you might as well live it being happy.

    • VAgirl says:

HD I agree. Like I said in the previous blog, something is keeping Donn there to put up will all that abuse we see. If not, he should have left. He didn’t even ask for the divorce. I heard Vicki did. I don’t think we are seeing the whole story and I have to give Vicki props for not bashing her husband like Tamra. I wish for both of them to find true happinesxs.

    • If you had it like this says:

I think Don seems like a nice man. It looks to me like they’ve probably just grown apart and don’t have that much in common anymore. Vicki may be bored. It happens. It seems that she gets all her excitement and social fulfillment from her job and hanging out with her friends, not her husband.

    • DJ Loops Fruit says:

however we have seen her being a snake to everyone of her friends on the show for years
i dont call her Icky for nothing
is true we dont know for sure what is going on completely
but we do know she got caught kissing another man when she was on one of her “working” trips

all those rumours about her cheating didnt come out of thin air

she grossed me out last episode when she said “at work I’m highly respected” and was complaining that at home she wasn’t, and seemed to actually feel that things at home needed to change to accomodate her sense of importance, rather than trying to leave work at the office and walk into her home as a wife and mom, instead of a boss.

  3. HD says:

I missed Mob Wives (caught some scenes) but I am glad you all will be blogging about it. (I think) It seems like NJ Housewives is roses and sunshine compared to these women!

    • quincyil says:

With the addition of Teresa’s family members, who knows how they they are to the Staten Island mob wives.

    • quincyil says:

HD, there are tons of reruns. Look at VH1, they seem to be on every day.

      • nathania says:

I can’t watch those shows without visualizing the families of all the victims of these goons and how they suffered and suffer. I couldn’t watch ‘growing up Gotti’ for that reason either.

  4. Captnfirepants says:

    Great blog as always!

Has anyone watched the WWHL aftershow? i heard Gretchen called in.

    • DJ Loops Fruit says:

i did and she did i posted about it when i first got here it may be at the bottom of the page

  5. error404 says:

ican’tstandthetoxicity: I think C = Melisaa, D + Jacq and E = Kathy. I thought it was an open secret that Jacq was a stripper in Vegas, so being a call girl isn’t exactly a surprise.

    • OneMoreInBoston says:

It kind of bothers me that the rumor mill is saying that Caroline is no longer friends with Teresa because of Teresa’s finances.

Even though I really dislike Caroline- maybe she ended the friendship because of the way that Teresa talked to her and treated her and her husband during the trip to Italy- or maybe wants to distance herself and her “fambly” from Juicy Joe’s nonsense- not the no $ part of the nonsense but the illegal part of the nonsense.

      • WindyCityWondering says:

With the addition Teresa’s real extended family, Caroline can now distance herself and her family from that trainwreck!

      • aquamarinecandy-o83 says:

She’s probably fed up (like all of us are) at Tree’s neverending antics!

      • If you had it like this says:

I think Caroline is pretty self-righteous and likes to think of herself as a do the right thing kind of person and her eyes were probably opened to the Giudice’s shenanigans last year between the legal issues and the way Teresa behaved at the reunion. Caroline seemed slightly horrified at Teresa’s behavior when she threw Andy and got in Danielle’s face again. She even told Teresa that she didn’t think that was her and if it was her she wouldn’t be friends with someone who behaved that way.

I think she may end up liking the cousin and sister-in-law more than Teresa.

        • babykakes says:

last night i was watching repeats of RHWONJ & caught something i missed the first time around. on the bus in Italy on the way to Joe & T’s home town, just before Joe says everyone should be civil, causing Caroline to laugh continuously, Joe says, “i’m so hungry i could eat
my ‘C**K'”! how utterly disgusting to say at anytime but
especially when confined with children & elderly folks.
anyone else recall that? what a digusting PIG that Joe is & one can only imagine the everyday language that goes
on in his house daily. those girls will repeat these dispicable things at school…& no one even has the guts to call him out on things like this.

          • OneMoreInBoston says:

omg- NO I did NOT hear that!

            wow.

          • aquamarinecandy-o83 says:

well, until cousin Kathy comes along in Season 3!! according to her, Juicy is all dried up!

YIKES! I missed that! Whatta’ disgusting thing to say.

            • aquamarinecandy-083 says:

It’s in the Season 3 RHONJ preview video! I saw it on Real City Housewife’s blog on the weekend. I like that Kathy already! lol

          • boston02127 says:

I’m sure T sat back and let him get away with talking like that too. They’re both pigs. I feel sorry for their kids.

        • nathania says:

it’s the legal trouble. Caroline has been steadfast about denying the mob ties, she really lives in a fantasy land. So she doesn’t want the smell of fraud and illegal dealings (made public instead of kept private) anywhere near her.

    • quincyil says:

She has a degree from a cosmetology school and worked in a salon off the strip. She was a married young mother who went to Chicago as a model for a show and met Chris Laurita, but I really don’t believe the stripping thing.

      • OneMoreInBoston says:

        I do.

        • quincyil says:

You think Jacqueline stripped? Or… you like stripping in general and think it’s a fun way to meet potential husbands? rotfl.

I just had a flash back to Bobby Zarin’s Valentine’s Day comment in the Wall Street Journal article where he said Jill would take off her girdles as a show for him. Can you imagine trying to get out of a girdle strip show?

          Oh my!

          • OneMoreInBoston says:

yes I do think she was a stripper in Las Vegas. A call girl? not so much.

When RHONJ was announced, their local newspaper published a series of comments from local yokels that knew the Manzo’s, Danielle, and the Lauritas. There was a lot of allegations that Jac was a stripper. And in this case- there’s no smoke without a fire.

personally? I wouldn’t strip for a living, but I know girls who have- it’s seedy, and sleazy (IMHO) but it’s legal-no one’s robbing a bank or hurting anyone other than maybe themselves.

            • nathania says:

              I totally believe it.

Because it was right after Danielle sashayed off the set muttering “Vegas whore” about Jacq. that Jacq. had the sudden change of heart and ‘forgave’ Danielle.

There is something so not kosher about Jacqueline. It also makes total sense now why she never felt ‘accepted’ by the Manzoids.

        • WindyCityWondering says:

ditto – she was no angel

          • quincyil says:

From what I see on TV and what I know about how nice she is on twitter, she just doesn’t seem the type. The Mob wives and Danielle are the type to me. Harder…women.

Jacqueline’s dad was in the military and he had a good job in security in one of the big casinos. She is close with her parents. I have no evidenc either way, buy she seems sweet and shy. Remember the Fashion Show competition. She didn’t want to show her body. My impression was she was shy.

            • WindyCityWondering says:

People can change given the right reason and environment. She made mistakes when she was young – unfortunately she is also allowing Ashley to do the same….

              • klmh says:

Just wondering what you think she could do to stop her daughter from making mistakes in her life?

            • OneMoreInBoston says:

just curious? do you know any strippers? It’s all about what will make you the most $.

Some are hardened, but some can still do it and keep an illusion of innocence. That’s how they are able to make so much $.

Not for nothing that the innocent schoolgirl in her Catholic School uniform is a common get up on stage.

Personally- one of the best employees I ever had was an ex-dancer. Although prone to fits of anger, she was a very sweet and kind person.

I also don’t think that a person would go on a reality TV show if they were shy.

              • error404 says:

“Personally- one of the best employees I ever had was an ex-dancer. Although prone to fits of anger, she was a very sweet and kind person.”

              • quincyil says:

I don’t know if anyone I know have been strippers. I doubt anyone here has been.

                • OneMoreInBoston says:

And with all due respect I don’t doubt you know someone who has been- but keeps it quiet.

some girlfriends of mine stripped while in college for extra money. they came from good conservative families with money & were great people & friends. it’s nothing i could ever do, but then there are those who for whatever reason, do, & these were not girls who were starved for attention, go figure!

                • DJ Loops Fruit says:

well LOL i havent but working in clubs for 20 plus years i knew a lot that did
most were lesbians not all but most were
none of them did anything but dance topless none had sex with customers or so they said
two that worked together did a sister act on stage but were lovers in R/l
and all tehones i knew would give the shirt off thier backs (literally) to help out a friend

                  • OneMoreInBoston says:

how funny- all the strippers I have ever met were lesbians.

                    • nathania says:

strippers/prostitutes whatever, the ONLY ones whom you can begin to stereotype are street pros because that is mostly about drugs. The rest don’t fit any ‘type’

          • vilzvet says:

I kinda doubt that Melissa would have had an affair with Joe! I just don’t see that. But I do agree about Caroline not being best buds with Teresa any longer, I think that’s true.

            • nathania says:

when I read that blind I thought it sounded like it came straight from Danielle Staub.

Teresa seems like the type who probably thinks EVERYBODY has had an affair with Joe, or wants to.

          • DJ Loops Fruit says:

stripping doesnt mean your a bad person though

            • OneMoreInBoston says:

totally agree! Not exactly a career path though.

              • DJ Loops Fruit says:

some actually made enough money to live comfortably for the rest of they’re lives
I myself couldnt do it as im way too shy
even when i was djing I couldnt bring myself to go on mike and say last call last call

                • OneMoreInBoston says:

One of the most successful female commercial RE agents in Boston, who constantly gets trotted out in those fawning “Women Making it in Mass!” articles was a stripper.

They learn how to hustle, and put it to work for them their whole lives. ie: NeNe-Danielle, and yes *perhaps* even Jac.

            • boston02127 says:

@DJ Loops Fruit–I bet it pays much more than teaching bratty kids Irish Step Dance. But I’ll stick with ISD until I graduate. I’d have to go visit Peggy’s doctor to become a stripper.

              • OneMoreInBoston says:

If I catch you up on a stage- I will find you and haul your *ss out of there so fast there will be skid marks!

Then we *might* have to have a strongly worded conversation! LOL!

You were brought up so well, boston02127., I can’t even imagine you in that enviroment.

              • DJ Loops Fruit says:

Like i said i couldnt do it myself
but i dont think there is anything wrong with it if you want to do it

ps not all these women were “busty” but sadly the ones that were did seem to make the most money

        • boston02127 says:

  6. NAmerican says:

It is time to take some action with those at Bravotv.com

Does anyone have email addresses of Bravotv.com personnel so we can sent our concerns to them re: fan comments not being posted. I HAVE HAD IT! I am a fan and have things to say, both positive and negative, but Bravotv.com continues to censor the fan comments. FYI, I wrote several posts on Jill Zarin’s blog and none were posted, so I conducted an experiment – I wrote a glowing/supportive comment and that was posted, but the negative one were not. WHAT THE HELL!!! As anyone can see on Jill Zarin’s blog they are only posting positive comments. I find this insulting and a slap in the face of Housewives’ fans!

So what can we do? Let’s start a letter writing campaign to let them know that fans will not be silenced and censored.

So, please someone post email addresses and let’s begin sending letters until our words are no longer silenced!

    Thanks!

    • quincyil says:

They really don’t care about fans and I doubt they would listen. I gave up on them years ago. We did discover that a first sentence that says something nice will get you in the door. Apparently, they only read first sentences. Windy City taught us this.

      • nathania says:

Andy doesn’t. That article in Bloomberg pretty much has him almost coaching cast and crew for what he wants to portray. The fans are irrelevant, it’s advertising they are going after pretty much I think. Which is probably why he pumps up bland, self-righteous types like Luann and Caroline to be ‘queens’ of their shows. It’s funny to me that Danielle ‘went rogue’ with all the sex/nudity stuff and he had her lynched then canned, and since Alex had the naked photo ‘scandal’ she’s now the target of a similar ‘all vs. one’ scenario on that show. Kelly did Playboy but I guess that is considered ‘legit’.

    • OneMoreInBoston says:

well- this blog was born out of Bravo’s bias against any comments that they deemed critical.

This blog has grown and has now snowballed to a point that, believe me, I think Lynn has Bravo’s attention. If you want even more of Bravo’s attention- post here more often. 😉

There’s no censorship here, unless you’re mean to another poster. We don’t need no stinkin’ Bravo Blogs- we have the very best one right here!

      • HD says:

Right. I haven’t tried to post at Bravo once I find this site. They made it evident they were never going to post anything remotely negative. Forget them! Post here like OMIB suggested.

      • quincyil says:

LOL. I just read the Strega rule book yesterday and we don’t obey all of these either.

It’s not required, but people value you opinion more if you give a reason for why you state something about a reality show star.

I just caught a bit of OC last night and Vicki talking through the entire back rub while Don fell asleep is classic. California had divorce laws that divide property equally. I think Don will be a good catch for those young OC women and Vicki is going to be very upset when half of her assessts go to anothe blonde bimbo.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Glad you found this wonderful community Lynn has allowed to form! We have a shared frustration with Bravo’s blogs – there is no balanced viewer voice! After studying comments it became clear that in order to be posted you had to fit into the general tone…so I had to LIE to get in the fact that there are lots of places where censorship doesn’t happen and all opinions are posted.
IMO – the day after Jill’s blog is posted (from Bravo and her super selective personal blog) they should be captured and put here so this little corner of the internet can voice their opinions. And I would take it one step further and have the blog/posts sent to Bravo Andy to show him that the current practice there is losing fans…which generate ratings!

      • vilzvet says:

Windy just saw your awesome comment on Jill’s blog! That was brilliant and just proves the stupidity of the editors over there. They saw the complimentary word and simply posted it.

    • Bravo was posting negative comments a few months ago but I guess the “Bravolebrities” complained and Bravo decided to only post positive comments. I gave up on them a while ago because I have tried to post several comments and only a couple of them were posted.

      • NAmerican says:

Sonja’s blog seems to have quite a lot of negative comments. But Jill’s are all positive – makes you go hmmmm? I guess the editor/interns have instruction on what can be posted on each housewife’s blog. They must be appeasing Jill by just posting positive comments – or maybe she gave the interns a gift certificate for Zarin Fabrics, or some of Jill’s girdles, or maybe a free book?!?!?!? Although those gifts would really piss me off and I would only post the most negative comments.

        • LynnNChicago says:

I think when she put a call into her Lawyer about the poll results, she also told him to threaten Bravo with a lawsuit if they made her look bad by posting the REAL comments on her blog.

    • LynnNChicago says:

      andysblog@nbcuni.com

This is Andy Cohen’s email address but it is a waste of time. They don’t care and they post what they want to post based on how they want each housewife to be perceived by viewers.

I have seen a lot of positive comments being approved then the next day they all disappear and negative ones appear. It just depends on who they assign that day to approve comments.

Blog comments are low priority most times assigned to unpaid interns who are given little instruction on what to do with comments other than “post the positive ones” or “post the negative ones”.

Welcome to the blog! Feel free to comment here, that’s what prompted me to start this blog, I would write well thought out comments to the housewives in response to their blogs and they rarely got posted so here we are a year later!

    • dsc60 says:

there’s a “contact us” on the bravo site. i already sent in a comment about the censoring that’s done to no avail. but if you want to have your say, that’s where to do it.

      • VAgirl says:

I have a dog that is 1/2 chihuahua and 1/2 poodle. Chihuahua’s are one-person dogs. They choose one person and that is their person. They aren’t comfortable unless they are with or near that person. I think that is Ginger’s problem. She chose Shrill as her person and has to live with the consequences. LOL

        • aquamarinecandy-o83 says:

me too, the coverage starts at 4am my time! oy! I took the day off as holiday…..so did another co-worker, her daughter, my cousin and probably countless (not Countless) others! ha! 😉

        • Kansas Girl says:

It’s been done before! The cows and the cat blink at the light suddenly coming on and it takes the cat a good hour to figure out he could start lobbying for food.

When Diana and Charles got married, several of us got up to watch. Then we had a party at work, complete with homemade wedding cake and a lovely flowered tablecloth. (A sheet –rather washed and faded, but we tried.) We named the room we had the reception in the “Lady Di Room”. It was a closed in garage under a back porch. (I used to work in a classy place, as you can see.)

So sure, I’ll get up and chat live! Fun! Should we all wear tiaras and dress for the occasion?

    • Nancy says:

Guess who else got married on April 29th?
Hitler and Eva Brown! Why on earth did the Royal family pick that date?

      • quincyil says:

Well, I bet no one checked the date.

      • aquamarinecandy-o83 says:

Probably because April 29th is St. Catherine’s Day (Kate’s full name). The wedding had to be this year sometime as not to interfere with the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and London Olympics next year.

      • TLM says:

According to Simon Barney, even Hitler had a good side. LOL. I will never forget THAT quote as long as I live…

    • aquamarinecandy-o83 says:

I can’t wait to see Kate’s gown, of course, and all the HATS! I love it when British women wear their hats to weddings and events in England. I can’t wait for Tom and Lorenzo to critique all the fashions worn at the Royal Wedding…he he

Any bets on what Kate’s dress will look like? I think it might be something in a mermaid style, form-fitting, a smaller train with sleeves, similar to Ivanka Trump’s wedding gown (with the lace sleeves). Her gown was absolutely gorgeous.

      • aquamarinecandy-o83 says:

Please excuse my terrible grammer in my last post “a smaller train with sleeves”……. yikes. Clearly I did not have enough coffee today! lol

      • quincyil says:

I think we should dress for the event. Designer clothes and hats are in order.

        • aquamarinecandy-o83 says:

… and fake replica sapphire engagement rings — my husband bought me one last week! haha The real one was a little out of our price range. 😉

          • quincyil says:

We can watch several channels. CNN will have Lisa Vanderpump. Cat O and Luann will be on Bravo. We can go back and forth. LOL.

We will also have a fresh NYC blog that day from Lynn. I’m sure people will say stuff about that show too.

            • aquamarinecandy-o83 says:

I’ll be watching the Canadian TV feeds (CTV and CBC) as well as TLC, CNN (love Lisa VP!) and probably the Today Show as well. Unfortunately I don’t get Bravo US. I either watch the Bravo clips online or wait until Slice Channel airs the episodes.

            • Nancy says:

This is as stupid as Bravo can get. LuAnn!
              Enough said. CNN!!!

          • Kansas Girl says:

Ooooo good idea! I bet our local British store will have ring replicas.

Once I start the day silly, I’ll likely carry it on all day.

  9. Casey says:

Jacquline Luarita tweeted on her way into NYC about 2 hours before WWHL was on saying it was unexpected for her to be on the show. I think either Eddie was getting nervous and didn’t want to go on or Tamra may have been working a deal with Andy about what is off topic on the show and threatened not to go on.
Tamra is an idiot!!! She promotes “The Dirty” to show how horrible Gretchen it, but Tamra has some stuff on there also. And her son, Ryan Vieth, has naked pictures on there plus other trashy photos.
If Tamra is just “fat” why would she wear such a tight dress?
I know I am jumping all over the place here but did you notice Andy seemed not to be enjoying himself last night?
ANd what about Tamra saying they stopped filming the tub scene so that lover boy could down a few more shots and then resumed filming. Wouldn’t have been more interesting watching Eddie say he can’t do this. Now isn’t that real?
And what is Eddie’s job? He works in his father’s law office but is not a lawyer. I bet he is doing work that he is not certified to do like paralegal work.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

If Jackie was there as a back up guest then Tamra is still nipping at the hand that feeds her.

      • quincyil says:

I would love to know the scoop on this one.

      • nathania says:

I wish I could find this Bloomberg article online, it’s very interesting…with regard to nipping the hand, it says :

“This year Bravo will generate $300.6 million in cash flow for parent company NBC Universal, up from 109.9 million in 2005, according to SNL Kagan cable analyst Derek Baine. In the six years since Cohen joined the network, ratings among 18 to 49 year old women have doubled. Last year, the network claims, it added 150 new advertisers, plus 50 online.”

So the housewives franchises are a huge cash cow, they have non-celebrities foaming at the mouth to be on the air for almost nothing, and they are turning profits hand over fist. Probably what would have to happen in order for the housewives to truly get a fair share of the profits is for ALL of them to join forces and go on strike. But I still think Bravo would replace them and just get new ones. Each show has a standard cast of types, even though the viewers sometimes don’t like the people cast as the ‘good guy’ or ‘bad guy’. The first paragraph of the article is the most interesting:

“Sitting in his 46th floor office at 30 Rock, Andy Cohen-producer, reality TV auteur, camp icon-is previewing his latest creation, the fourth season of ‘The Real Housewives of New York City’. “The reactions are off!” Cohen complains over the phone to one of his producers. The series, which follows a gaggle of nouveau riche damsels as they bicker, go shopping, and talk about their ultrafabulous lives, has become a ratings sensation for Bravo. And though the new season is scheduled to debut in weeks, Cohen knows more work is needed. “It’s very…talky,” he complains of one protracted party scene. After hearing a catty bard unleashed moments later by one character, Cohen hones in on the problem: Cast member and countess-by-marriage Luann de Lesseps, he says, “has to be more offended!” Cohen swiftly orders a close up of her horrified visage and -crisis averted- moves on to the next scene.

it’s interesting because clearly this was written before the pushed the debut of this season back a couple of months and suggests the reason for it was because Andy wasn’t satisfied and also I am a bit surprised he has this much obsessive control over every twist and turn in every scene, that he follows it microscopically closely like this. I don’t know, I guess I am naive, but I was a bit shocked at the thought of him going over it frame by frame and freaking out because someone didn’t look ‘offended’ enough. (especially Luann, who doesn’t seem to ‘do’ human emotions much anyway).

    • error404 says:

Ryan’s pictures and video sadly don’t seem any more “scandalous” than what thousands of boys his age do on a regular basis nowadays. And yes, use of the term “nowadays” instantly ages me. LOL

Compared to Kiki’s faux playboy photo shoot, or LaToya’s playboy spread, and he’s like friggin “Mr Integrity” by comparison. LOL

“George R.R. Martin Clarifies His Issues With LostPreviously, Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin told The New Yorker that he thought Lost had fumbled its ending, and Damon Lindelof was not happy. Now George R.R. Martin, who has not been following the kerfuffle closely, is clarifying: “No, I certainly don’t regret having watched Lost,” he tells TV Squad. But before you say “aw, peace in nerd-dom!” check Martin’s follow-though: “By the time we reached the finale, I was still hoping for the best, but expecting the worst. I still think Lost told a terrific story … a terrific story with a terrible ending.” Zing! [TV Squad]”

ITA! Worst ending to a great story ever.

      Oh how sad was that??!!
I truly MOURN the loss of “Lost”
My hubs and I kept saying during the

I felt so ripped off, I was so invested in that series!
I still miss it-it brought the whole family together,
they should completely re-do the ending.

Honestly, Error, a disappointment of epic

and how else could they really explain everything
i kind of liked how all the people we wanted together were at the end despite that they were dead LOL

    • DJ Loops Fruit says:

i never cared about Lost story
i just cared about teh characters involved
while i didnt love the ending i was at home sobbing thruout

      • plainviewsue says:

DJ Loops Fruit, I don’t think you understand the ending if you think they were all dead from the beginning!

I am a huge huge Lost fan, and I loved the ending. But just to clarify, as Christian said to Jack, “Everything that ever happened to you was real.” The time on the island was real. There were people that died before Jack (Locke, Juliet, Jin and Sun, Syed, etc) and people who died way after him (the people who left the island: Kate, Sawyer, Miles, Claire, Frank). Hurley and Ben stayed on the island to protect it.

So at the end, they all came together in a special place.

I sobbed my eyes out at the end. Yes, all questions weren’t answered, but most were. And the special features on the season 6 DVD explained Walt, pregnant women on the island and others.

        I miss Lost so much!!

        • Kellita says:

I was a Lost fan, too, from the very beginning. My beloved aunt died the week the finale aired, so I was a sobbing mess at the last episode, too.

I can’t watch the OC women any more. I just read you Lynn.

    • I’m disappointed in RHOOC. I was looking forward to it but it hasn’t been very good this season. RHONY and RHOOC used to be my favorites but I am not interested in them anymore. I can’t believe that I am excited about the premiere of RHONJ. I think the new cast members are going to make the show more interesting. I was sick of the everyone versus Danielle storyline.

There’s one for Facebook! Wonderful. And I’m sure the real wedding will be JUST like that. LOL!

  13. quincyil says:

The “Mob Wives” was interesting. It’s playing often on VH1 if you didn’t catch it. The women appear to be fearless. They were very similar to Teresa Giudice in their attitude that as long as a man is good to his kids everything is OK. They have Teresa’ clothes and jewelry too. The homes didn’t seem as lavish as the Giudice Palace, but that kind of house would be noticed by the feds.

I remember a movie about Frank Sinatra’s early life. He was one of those street boys and he always seems shady to me even though I loved his voice.

Caroline Manzo implies that she is tough, but these women made Caroline look like Doris Day.

    • aquamarinecandy-o83 says:

Frank Sinatra was always a little shady…also to mention he was buddies with Sam Giancana and other mob guys.

    • OneMoreInBoston says:

      • BlueSky_Forever says:

how funny was it when they talked about knowing most of the visitor’s in the waiting room at the prison? or what to say to potential dates…can you imagine a guy who has nothing to do with the mob getting one of them on match.com?

  15. Noreen says:

I have posted it before and I will again: I wish Vicki were as nice in real life and she is in her blogs. Eddie’s family “owns” a law firm. What a joke. Only lawyers have ownership in a law firm or else you are fee splitting with non-lawyers and that is illegal. If his father gives him money that is his business, but you can’t “own” a law firm.

    • NoHoHousewife says:

Noreen, I was just going to post the same thing you just said, then saw your comment. How can he go on TV and claim that he owns this law firm w/ his family when it is totally illegal in California??? Sounds very shady!

    • OneMoreInBoston says:

There are also laws that only doctors can own medical practices yet “chain” medspas employ a doctor rather than are owned by one.

There are ways around that law: the medspa forms a corporation, the doctor forms a corporation and then one corporation “consults” for another. The lawyer’s fees add up to do it right, but I’m sure there are ways around the law that only a lawyer can own a lawfirm.

or maybe his father owns the firm but Eddie is listed as a stockholder on the board of directors or something like that with controlling interest in the firm’s fees.

Personally I agree with you , and think he’s full of sh*t- but he *could* be telling the truth

  16. NeilHan says:

    Hey all,

I did not get a chance to watch either OC or WWHL last night, but if indeed the tub scene was manufactured and Tamra had to convince Eddie to do it — then we are getting validation that the show is somewhat scripted. I love all reality TV but am starting to believe that no reality TV show can be real after 2 seasons. Season 1 is always the most “real” of them all, by season 2 people realize what they can/cannot do to get TV time and by season 3 it is contrived, predictable and somwhat ridiculous.

All that being said – I have a problem because I can’t keep myself from watching.

One other thing — I have read in some of the previous blogs that Jill’s donation of $500.00 was measley on the Celebrity Apprentice. While I agree if she is auctioning off the hat for her own personal gain this is wrong I disagree that any charity donation should be put down. While I understand many of you (most) do not like Jill, please do not put down any charity donation. Many people say they cannot afford to donate because they think the only amount that will help is a large donation. I do a lot of fundraising for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and I would be happy to take $500.00 or $5.00 for that matter, oh heck $1.00 is great too. Every dollar counts – please do not forget that!

    • WindyCityWondering says:

I don’t have a problem with fundraising for known charities or organizations. I have problems with “The Zarin Family Trust” or a “percentage” unknown going to a charity.

      • firepainter says:

Exactly WCW! Jill isn’t exactly trustworthy. When you contribute money, you should be allowed to know to what charity, how much is going to that charity and to know that it is actually going to get to said charity. You’re better off giving to a well-known charity than to something Jill Zarin has made up. If she’s not willing to list all the details then you can bet the money is going into Jill’s pocket.

      • lillybee says:

Perhaps someone with more googling skills than I can find out if the Zarin Family Trust is really a charity. Or is it Jill’s way of not paying taxes.

      • Nancy says:

Only Jill would come up with a scam that will make HER money off of a donation she gave. The woman is scum!

        • DiaBLa says:

what an idiot? YOu buy the hat for charity and then you sell it off and try to make a profit on it? IRS – does she claim the deduction and then claim all the income she makes off her dresses and ditch digger shoes? (no offense to anyone who actually does dig ditches!) just throw it away if u don;’t want it….She has a lot of nerve!!!

    • error404 says:

apples and oranges IMO. Celebrity fundraising, shown on tv no less, should not be held to the same standards as “mom and pop” donations. Any celeb who goes on a show like CA and claims to have no fundraising connections is wasting everyone’s time. A household name like Richard Hatch raising exactly $0.00 for charity in no less than two separate FR challenges is a joke. With people calling in $99,000 donation left and right, Jill Zarin’s $500 peanuts, shown in person on camera from a woman who boasts how rich she is like every 5 minutes, is worthy of derision IMO. Her gaudy check book cover probably cost her more than $500. They probably spent $500 on a hair an make-up person to do her up, then $50 on a cab ride down there, then went out for a $250 dinner for 2 afterward. She probably drinks $500 a week in diet coke alone! lol

      • Noreen says:

Maybe all that diet coke is what changed her haircolor!

        • DiaBLa says:

It makes you wonder if Jill and Kelly have lunch in a fancy Manhattan restaurant and while Kelly slugs down patron and Jill pours diet coke over her fries they discuss Lynn and the horrible people at IHJZ. Can’t you see there there sharing information about this site?

      Bawahahahahahahahaha!!!

I do agree that it takes a lot of courage/stupidity to be left alone in the same room as someone as volatile and unpredictable as KKK. I wonder if she wore her Hannibal Lector mask for the interview? I wonder if they talked over a nice lunch of fava beans and chiante?

      • quincyil says:

Jill and Kelly have to share intimate moments in Jill’s bedroom discussing lynnnchicago and “I Hate Jill Zarin” blog. Kelly is twirling her hair and Jill is going on and on on how we all are bullies.

I am sure that Sonja got a text about Lynn’s blog from last night too from Jill too. I think Sonja might figure out that being on Team Jill is probably not a good thing in time.

Kelly’s honesty is there was no break down on Scary Island and she had a break through. She also thinks that she did nothing wrong in her coversations with Bethenny.

            I’m almost 5’8″ and weight 115 to 125 and I’m a 4. No way can Jill be a 1.

          • quincyil says:

I wonder what size Sonja wears. Both She and Jill are the same height. Sonja said she had a card that said she was 5″ 8″, but she is %’ 5’6″ like Jill and Bethenny.

If Jill is an 8, is Sonja an 8? I asked because they buy designer dresses but they have very different shapes. Betheny is 5’6″ also and she looks a lot smaller than S or J.

Jill is always talking about gaining weight, but she seems the same to me in photographs.

If Bethenny weights 123 lbs, Jill has to be 133 which is just about right for her height. Healthy… I think Sonja is at a good weight too.
When you are young , you can weigh less, but older women look better fit with some muscles.

        • Kansas Girl says:

I think that’s a “size 1”, isn’t it? Code for her actual size.

  21. DJ Loops Fruit says:

“Andy’s game for the evening involved asking Eddie a series of questions to determine whether or not he was gay. He passed with flying colors. ”
not only was the game itself sort of obnoxious (shame on you andy,if a straight man asked those same questions you would have called him a jackhole)
But it seemed as though Eddie threw most of the answers on purpose

ps if you saw the aftershow on bravo you would see that Gretchen and Slade called in to call Tammy Sue (LOL) out on her b/s
they had a witness to the Jay M incident who said that they couldnt believe how Jay turned all that upside down to his advantage and that he himself asked them if they thought Eddie was gay
they said its not the first time they had heard it but didnt know him well enough to make that sort of judgement

during the call Gretchen was saying that they didnt know eddie at all and only met him once
they called her out on that kie as well
and while they were saying that they spent an entire evening chatting with him Trampoline denied it turned to Eddie and he said well yeah thats true I did
Trampolina never bad mouths Gretchen while she is actually on the line

    • Casey says:

I wonder if Eddie will get a beating for saying “well yes I did talk with them the whole night”. Seeing Tamra’s reaction to this was priceless!!!!! Tamra has been real quiet on Twitter and Facebook today. Trouble in paradise? BTW, she wore that same sleazy pink dress hosting that trashy tequila party in Vegas a few weeks ago. She must think she looks hot in it. That dress and the hair extensions were ridiculous.

      • DJ Loops Fruit says:

she always looks trashy to me

      • TLM says:

I thought it was pretty bizarre that Tamra said all she could think of when seeing Peggy’s new breasts was, “Mama …suck, suck, suck… Mama” when hers look exactly the same or worse. WTH did she think hers looked like last night, hanging out on display, along with the rest of her weight gain?? Had she worn a dress that fit her and covered her in the right places, no one would even have guessed that she had gained weight. I felt embarrassed for her sitting there in that pink rubber band.

She looked great at the New Year’s Eve party, in shape and finally wearing a dress where she looked sexy and was covered where she needed to be covered. The BCBG dress she had on fit her perfectly. Well, she promptly sold that dress on Ebay. She seems to have a hooker’s mentality on clothes, that if she isn’t exposed, it isn’t sexy. I would love to see her on How Do I Look? with Jeannie Mai.

There’s a part of me that is so happy William gave his fiancee his mother’s ring. It’s so sad that Diana isn’t here to see William on his wedding day. 😦

    • DJ Loops Fruit says:

i so agree and i think it was Harrys idea
whatever she did Diana brought those boys up right

      • vilzvet says:

I don’t know why I thought that gorgeous ring could have been buried with her! I had kinda forgotten she was divorced! Of course everything she got from the royal family must have gone back to them.

        • aquamarinecandy-o83 says:

I think Diana was allowed to keep the jewels Charles had given her (not sure if it was all of them but definitely most of them). When Diana passed away, William initially chose to keep her watch that was originally Diana’s father’s watch, I believe, and Harry chose the engagement ring. When William decided to marry Kate, he asked Harry for the ring.

          • kbinldo says:

Any jewels belonging to the Crown had to be given back, but those that belonged to her personally (such as her engagement & wedding rings) were hers to keep.

      • kbinldo says:

William requested her ring when she died, so I thought the idea was his. Like them, my mom died when I was quite young, so I can relate to how they’ve had to handle things & some of the problems they’ve had.

  23. cabbie413 says:

this is off topic, but in line with the blog I suppose.

On the last #rhony reunion, Bethenny mentioned Jill sending her daughter to fatcamp on camera. I didn’t watch Season one so I had to go back and see what she was talking about, since I never noticed Ally much on the show at all (being a late comer to the show)

Now during the opening credits, Jill’s daughter has on an awful dress. It doesn’t flatter her figure AT ALL and I’ve seen pics of her many times wearing short skirts that only bring attention to her tree trunk legs. You’d think Jill and/or her stylist would help Ally find something that’s figure flattering.

With all of her mother’s recent actions and her being in college, I feel sorry for her. i can only imagine she gets ridiculed from time to time.

    • LynnNChicago says:

I agree, I’ve seen Ally in several photos and she never looks good in whatever she’s chosen to wear.

She wears very short skirts which are in style but do not flatter her at all.

I have to assume that Ally herself chooses her outfits. Her mother has access to stylists galore, why not hire one for your daughter when taking her to events?

    • Kansas Girl says:

If Ally is taking certain medications for her arthritis, it’s likely the meds make her gain a certain amount or look puffy from retained fluids. But yes, her mother, with all she has at her disposal, could certainly get her some expert advice how to show herself to her best advantage. She seems to be a charming and attractive young woman.

    • error404 says:

Having watched the horror that is Jill and Gloria shop together and the horror that is Jill and Ally shop together, I think state laws should be passed against any two or more generations of this family entering a retail establishment together! LOL

And considering what Jill has been wearing as of late and the fact that her last stylist felt the need to publicly denounce any and all involvement, I wouldn’t suggest that route either.

Considering the NGO route Ally has been taking as of late, brace yourself for more unflattering outfits to come. LOL

      • vilzvet says:

I think Ally looks NOTHING like Jill, she must totally resemble the father. She has beautiful eyes.

        • NJ Bev says:

Jill could hire all the stylists in the world, she could send
Ally shopping w/ J.LO. Ally is gonna wear what she wants
and NO ONE will tell her otherwise-no matter how you
          go about it.
As the Mom to a teenage daughter whose outfits have
left me stupidfied speechless at times, you can only tell
them so much, and even then you have to pick your
battles. sometimes you have to keep your mouth shut
because they could end up in something worse than
          what they started in!
Please don’t get me wrong, but anyone out there with a teenage daughter has got to have some empathy for
          this topic-

          • Veronica says:

Ditto. Alley is picking her own clothes. She wants to wear what the other girls are wearing.

i didnt get that at all from Andy who usually sits with his legs spread apart but last night his legs were closed completely
i never got that vibe from Eddie till last night
the one time he was sene with his best friend who is gay might be the reason so many thought it

      • Eve says:

I guess I just thought Andy was kind of ignoring T and paying more attention to E. You are probably right about his body language. I wasn’t even thinking of that….just the attention he seemed to give E. There was something about him early on that just reminded me of my gay friends (some of whom have dated women and hang all over them like E does with T.)
Whatever…he seems like he is sweet so good for her.

As for Vicki’s explanation for a “Short sale” on her blog. It’s not quite right (but is not wrong either). A short sale is when the appraised value of the home is less than the balance of the mortgage. It is the sale of a home for what Vicki say’s “what it is worth” in other words its appraised value as opposed to what the property was purchased for. So Alexis and Jim are selling their home for less than what they paid for it and are taking a loss with the permission of the bank. Bank’s are now seeing the light and rather than have a property in foreclosure are agreeing to short sale.

How you are successful in the insurance business is a mystery to me.

    • error404 says:

This is not my understanding. My understanding was:

Appraised value less than mortgage balance = “underwater”.

Selling for less than what you paid = selling for a loss. Seller takes the hit.

Accepted purchase price for less than mortgage balance, and bank takes the hit = short sale.

      • AZ Girl says:

You are right but here in AZ the short sales are running pretty close to the appraised value with a small percentage increase. So I stand corrected. Thank you.

  27. lillybee says:

Short sales do seem to be the thing these days.

  28. LynnNChicago says:

I just posted a photo up in the blog of Kim Zolciak’s baby shower if anyone is interested

    • OneMoreInBoston says:

omg what a hideous dress! wth?

She looks very pretty though , and the baby’s daddy looks very handsome- they look happy in this picture. But what is that dress?

      how perfectly dreadful

    • Kansas Girl says:

The dress is less than flattering. An elastic tube would look as good. And what’s with the cake? Couldn’t decide on one style? Every layer is different.

    • VAgirl says:

Must have been a “formal” shower, hence the long dress. It’s pretty bad and does nothing for her. A nice flowy short dress would have been more flattering.

  29. IndianaHousewife says:

Good eveving, totally OT, however several of you seem seem to know quite a bit about skin care. So my question is with summer coming how bad is a product like Jergens Glow? I would like some color for summer. Thanks.

    • VAgirl says:

I have used Jergens glow on my legs and feet and it works pretty well. The only thing you have to be careful of is to rub it in well because you may get an orangy hue around your feet and ankles. I’ve not used any other self-tanning product so can’t compare.

    • Sammysmom says:

Hey there. I’m in the same state so I know what you mean about the sun. We need it bad here. I have used jergens and it’s great just make sure you put it on evenly and off the elbows and knees. Heres to hoping it gets warm here real quick

      • IndianaHousewife says:

Thank you all. I think i will give it a try. Will be sure to wash. I am so ready for some sun. I do not function very well with with all of these cold dreary days!

        • lovemamaearth says:

I’ve heard L’roeal (sp?) is better. I haven’t tried it. DH hates the smell of Jergens.

  30. boston02127 says:

Great blogs guys. So much info. Thanks.

LOL- Lynn, You always have a kind way of getting the message across. Last night when the poll was either Eddie or Slade, I was typing BLECH, ICK, EWW.

When I read that you wrote this: “If ever they needed a “none of the above” choice it was this show. I laughed when I read that, you alway hit the nail on the head so gracefully.

  31. Nancy says:

I hope Bethenny and Jason’s parents are watching Dr Phil today as it’s about the relationship between grandparents and children.

Why does Sonja say male clients? She did that on Scary Island and Bethenny asked her if she was a hooker. She is not a professional that she would have a client like a lawyer has a client. What kinds of business does she run? Interior design? Garden expert?

    • VAgirl says:

Maybe she runs an escort service?

    • BlueSky_Forever says:

I’m starting to think she’s a high class call girl (hooker). Mr. Morgan stated in his divorce papers that she was running a bordello in that town house.

      • VAgirl says:

        Really…… interesting.

      • nathania says:

it so would not surprise me

I am feeling extra jaded because I watched “Leaving Las Vegas” earlier tonight. I wonder, was the thing about running the bordello literal or metaphorical.

I guess I have been naive but I am continuing to be amazed at the wealthy men that pick out their favorite hooker or stripper and marry them. I don’t think there is anything wrong with it per se, it’s just that before the advent of the internet the past stayed in the past, or at least in the closet. And the housewives shows seem to really pit women against each other and send minions straight out looking for the dirt.

I wonder if there is some kind of hero/rescuer complex among men who do this. I think Danielle Staub met her husband this way. It’s possible Jacq Laurita met hers this way. And it never made much sense to me that Sonya was a ‘hostess’ before she met the Morgan. This is going to sound mean but Sonya is not attractive enough to make that much of an impression on a rich businessman for the brief period of time that she would be escorting him to a table, or what have you. She’s rather plain, if the truth be told.

And it would explain something else, the strange flinch on Sonya’s face when Luann slammed Alex’s outfit as ‘some kind of S&M dress’ or whatever she said. I thought I read recognition of Sonya’s face, immediately I thought, oops, she’s not going to fess up to Luann that she’s into S&M or at least has tried it (hell for all we know she was a full on dominatrix and that’s how she met Morgan…maybe a regular client).

        • lovemamaearth says:

Many people are more attractive in person. I’m guessing most of the RHWs are otherwise they wouldn’t be considered tv worthy.

    • jeepers1941 says:

maybe that is why Alex called her a thug in a cocktail dress………..

  36. justanothermary says:

Does anyone else see parallels between the Gretchen/Slimey and Icky/Donn situations? Gretch seems to put Slimey down at every turn and is not afraid to embarass him in public whenever possible. Icky has been putting Donn down for years. IMHO Gretch and Ick are simply mean and self-centered. The big difference is that Donn seems like a good person and Slimey is . . . slimey.

    • OneMoreInBoston says:

hmm…I actually had not thought of that until you brought it up. But now that you’ve said it- yes- I do see the similarities. Wow-so Gretchen is a Vicky in training.

    • VAgirl says:

Now that you pointed it out, yes, I see the similarities.

    • boston02127 says:

When Gretchen was talking about getting married (for the 100th time) she said Slade is her Mr. Right Now, not Mr. Right. If my b/f said that to me or about me he’d be at the curb in a heartbeat.

      • nathania says:

something has happened between this season and last, definitely.

I think it really got to Gretchen that slade lied to her about dating that blonde, and Bravo showed them together on film. Gretchen seemed so naive at the finale in her white dress, she seemed honestly in love with Slade. Compared to that episode, she now seems bitter, jaded, and very hurt. I don’t know if it was just that one lie or she has found out more about Slade, but she seems to be keeping him around just to torture him. I think she realizes he isn’t the true love she thought he was, but she’s not yet ready to let him go completely.

Is Staten Island a fancy rich place to live?

    • boston02127 says:

      Hmm….sometimes no answers speak loud.

    • lillybee says:

Not really, a lot of NYC employees live there especially cops for some reason.
Most of it is a pretty middle class neighborhood. Pretty though and a bit isolated.

      • TLM says:

It’s a pain in the ass to live there, in my opinion, but cheaper than living in the city.

A college friend of mine lived there right after graduation, and he worked in the city. I remember taking the train and a ferry to get home every day, and how we had to quickly get from one end of the train to the other to get off at the right place. It would drive me crazy to have to take a train and then a boat to get to and from my house every day.

    • error404 says:

it’s a fairly large island that really morphed from countryish to city-like in a short period of time after WWII. There are all sort so hoods, from the posh to the seedy, but it’s mostly all middle class.

    • OneMoreInBoston says:

      kind of like Quincy

    • ImaJillHater2 says:

Oh… hell to the NO! Like any place, some ‘hoods are expensive/ exclusive, etc. (ie. Todt’s Hill, where Paul Castellano (head of Gambino crime fam) lived before he was “offed” by Gotti & crew). SI is largely blue collar/ middle class.

      • BlueSky_Forever says:

ah yes, besides the Raritan River Staten Island is a favorite dumping ground for getting rid of former mobster’s bodies.

    • BlueSky_Forever says:

lol Boston Staten Island has the Fresh Kills dump, it’s not ritzy at all. Parts of it are nicer than others though. It really is the “forgotten boro” of NYC.

  39. Mel says:

i am not a huge Tamra fan, however I cannot believe that everyone continues to underplay Gretchen’s web of lies. She continues to deny that she dated Jay…even after photographic evidence…even a tatatoo of his name over her engagement ring. Her case against Jay was dismissed and she had two court judgemets against her and has to pay HIS attorney’s fees. Another case was brought against her just recently regardig her shady business dealings with her cosmetic line. Gretchen has a history of lying and deflecting bad behavior. She never owns up to her lies and continues to blame Tamra. Although Tamra is no angel, Gretchen is no far from one.

    • boston02127 says:

@Mel–I agree. I think with Tamera & her mouth what you see is what you get. I think Gretchen is sneaky. Dirty sneaky.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Makes you wonder what her definition of integrity is….

    • ImaJillHater2 says:

I agree! Seems that Gretchen may not be as sweet & innocent as she’d have us believe. Thinks she’s been getting a HUGE pass on blogs/boards, etc…

These housewives fly under the radar for only so long ’til the $h!t (ie. TRUTH) hits the fan.

Will this be G’s season to have her truth “outed”?

    • If you had it like this says:

God, I so agree. I think the part that bothers me the most is that she plays this sweet, innocent character and she’s so obviously not. It kinda drives me crazy. Crazy Tamra outing her lies about having a boyfriend while she was with the older dying man made her look like a victim somehow!! Tamra handled it all wrong. It’s like how we all, or lots of us anyway, took up for Bethenny and Alex when Jill and the gang was against them… the difference is they actually were victimized by Jill. Tamra and her clumsy, dumb way of handling it made her look like the bad guy and Gretchen come out smelling like a rose. She’s no rose….

      • DJ Loops Fruit says:

maybe because what buisness is it of Trampolinas who gretchen dated or didnt date
who made her the moral police

  40. boston02127 says:

LOL–it’s 9:12 and I already can’t stand these women on MobWives.

Also, since when do men in prison call their wives and give them a grocery order? I wouldn’t think that wouldn’t be allowed. It’s prison not a country club.

    • OneMoreInBoston says:

omg- I HATED them and I knew you wouldn’t like it!

    • vilzvet says:

That list was hysterical! Twinkies, Vanilla Coke… And she wasn’t even going to deliver it herself, didn’t she say she was going to box it up and mail it to him, perishable deli food? To be fair she did say he was in a NY prison, but still I wouldn’t mail cold cuts.

  41. TLM says:

Did anyone notice Retchin’s now wearing a “Gretchen Christine Beaute” t-shirt on the show to promote her crappy makeup line? What’s next, Jill wearing a Sqweez t-shirt and Ramona wearing a Ramona Pinot Grigio t-shirt, and Duhresa wearing a Skinny Italian t-shirt? Does EVERYONE have to copy Bethenny??!??

Gretchen and George Bush Jr evidently have something in common. Her, “Why is all you guys fat?” line evoked memories of, “Is our children learning?”

  42. AZ Girl says:

For all here of the Jewish faith I wish you a good seder and Passover. Sunset here in AZ.

  43. FlowerPower says:

I’m finally all caught up! I watched last week’s episode this morning and have read through all the comments. Whew.

Jill’s tweeting about her official/sanctioned blog are cracking me up. The honest blog? Really? That’s what they’re going with??? Jill, I don’t usually address you directly, but I HATE JILL ZARIN is as HONEST as it gets. And your behavior off-camera reinforces every negative comment that comes your way.

T-shirts, Lynn. Really 🙂 I’m sure someone here could come up with a fantastic design. I usually picture the simple (boring?) IHJZ in the middle with text circling it that has the different sayings/comments from the blog:
    LynnNChicago*I Just Pee and Post
LynnNChicago*I Blog With a Fabulous Group of Friends
    LynnNChicago*I Hate Jill Zarin*Honestly

I bet we could raise money for charity 😀

    • cusi77 says:

“I just pee and post” is the best! And it came from @Noreen… I think…

      • FlowerPower says:

That’s my favorite (yes, it was Noreen). I don’t remember who said the one about blogging with a fabulous circle…

  44. TLM says:

“They” say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. With so many HWs imitating B, she should be VERY flattered indeed!

With so many HWs copying B, do you think perhaps she might be a “trendsetter”?!?! (Watch out KKB, B’s the Genuine Article!)

  45. Vesper says:

Well I guess we know Kim is having a boy! Not gonna be a surprise after all! She always lies to Andy anyway..haha.

And I wish Jacqueline had said it was LuAnn she didn’t like!! That bitch is the next one on my hate list after Sonja.

  46. Terry says:

Yeah, I’m not watching OC anymore. They’re just too trashy and slutty and vulgar and horrid.

I’d date Donn. He seems like a trooper. Vicki is a fool to let him go; insurance is not going to keep her warm at night.

  47. boston02127 says:

Lol, I’m watching Mob Wives. If you put me in a room with these women, I’d probably burst out laughing and say “I don’t even know how to talk to you freaks”.
(then I’d probably run really fast)

  48. boston02127 says:

I luv the way Bethenny dresses.

  51. boston02127 says:

Jason: “the only lights I’m thinking about are the red & blue”. He’s got a funny sense of humor.

  52. VAgirl says:

    Bryn is ADORABLE!

  53. Vesper says:

You guys think B wants to move to L.A. to get away from Jason’s parents?

I kinda want them to stay in NY. B does not seem like she would like L.A. after the currrent fun and glamour of it wears off. She lived there years ago, she knows how plastic people can be.

    • cusi77 says:

No. I would never think she wants to get away from her in-laws.

How funny “I am a profesional skater… I need this legs to skate” Ha!

    • VAgirl says:

No, not to get away from them. Everything B does is for business reasons. Maybe they will bi-coastal. She should certainly be able to afford it.

    • ImaJillHater2 says:

I think B’s storyline about spending time w/ her in-laws is totally fabricated for the show. I also believe the CA move storyline is fabricated…

    • DJ Loops Fruit says:

she wants to be there for more work
its a pretty smart move for her
but its gonna be hell for Jasons parents

  54. Noreen says:

They had a little fight and there was no yelling. They are growing as a couple! Isn’t Bryn precious in the shower!

    • DJ Loops Fruit says:

Bryn is w/o a doubt the sweetest baby i have ever seen
her laughing and smiling in the shower was adorable

  55. VAgirl says:

OK. Anticipating what is coming, if I had that many people in such a confined space while I was trying to cook Thanksgiving dinner, I would have a complete breakdown. I usually cook Thanksgiving dinner for 12 and have a big kitchen. Everybody knows better than to even come into the kitchen and try to help me. My oven broke one Christmas Eve and I went into complete panic mode.

    • Noreen says:

I don’t mind a few people as long as they on the other side of the bar; don’t cross the bar.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

My turkey goes out on the grill every Thanksgiving, Christmas and when my father in law would visit – he had to have a grilled turkey!

  56. Noreen says:

    Hey everyone,

What do you think Jillousy is doing instead of watching BEA? Maybe she and Kelly are doing each other’s hair.

    • VAgirl says:

I think they are working on a book together so they can have a NYT bestseller and become pulitzer prize winning authors.

  57. NJ Bev says:

Ha!!! she left out Johnny weird!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  58. VAgirl says:

I noticed they aren’t showing Johnny Weird. I guess he didn’t give them permission ala Jill. He’s probably doesn’t want everyone to be reminded how absolutely transparent his dislike was for Bethenny. I guess B has the last laugh on both of them. 2nd place is not bad.

    • TLM says:

I think the decision to cut out Johnny Weir, assuming he didn’t withdraw permission, is just odd. The only thing people remember about that show were the fireworks between him and Bethenny, and to pretend there were just 2 judges is rewriting history. Bethenny is always claiming her show is 100% real and she puts it all out there, yet she’s pretending the whole clash with Weir never happened and that he was never there. At least have a title card explaining that Weir didn’t give his permission to be shown, or discuss it with the therapist, instead of making it all disappear.

      • OneMoreInBoston says:

The best way to take revenge is the social snub – I think it’s the perfect diss.

        • TLM says:

It’s not a social snub. It’s supposed to be a documentary of her life, and it did happen. So I think there should at least have been a reference to a 3rd judge, even if he wasn’t mentioned by name. I think to leave that all out actually makes her look bad.

I actually think she would have liked to have included it, but that Weir refused permission. I guess in the coming days we’ll hear what really happened.

          • VAgirl says:

Either way, everybody knows what happened. I hope she could have shown him and chose not to.

            • NJ Bev says:

She could have just blocked out his
face and referred to him as “that
              third judge” and said whatever
she wanted. even if he refused to
sign a waiver, there are so many
ways around it. I really believe she
took the classy way around it.
“cmon if she wanted to screw
around with him the way he did
with her, she could have. She
has too much class for that and
doesn’t need to hear any BS from
              him after the fact-
he did what he did. we all saw it.

She was stiff on the ice, not nearly
as good as practice, but for goodness
sakes he was just mean. I felt bad, because before this show(SWTS)
I was prob. more of a fan of Johnnys
              than Bethenny’s!

              • nathania says:

I have been suspicious about this feud the whole time. Because to me in real life Johnny and Bethenny seem like they would hit it off. The are both extremely irreverent and don’t care what anyone else thinks of them. The only point of contention I can think of is Bethenny doing an ad campaign for PETA and Johnny is a frequent target of PETA.

But since the beginning I have had my suspicions it might have been planned. Just like the faux pr battles that rappers have that are instigated by the record labels. I just don’t know.

          • OneMoreInBoston says:

A DOCUMENTARY??? where the hell you’d get that? It’s a reality show!

In my opinion this was a social snub.

And puh-leeze, TLM my dear, do not correct my opinion again.

If you want to disagree with me, be my guest, but don’t ever correct me again- you are not any more of an authority than anyone else here , you’re just a poster like the rest of us m’kay?

            • TLM says:

Her description of her show is that it is “her life”…it is “what happens…” and “I put it ALL out there.” Pretending that the main thing people remembered from SWTS never happened is just…weird, not to mention not “what happens.”

I don’t “correct anyone’s opinion”… not sure what that even means, or how anyone would even do that, LOL. I do disagree with people from time to time, though, and will continue to do so.

              • OneMoreInBoston says:

                TLM-
I said “is the social snub”
You said “It’s not a social snub”

                STOP correcting me.
You are not an authority here.

Of course you’ll continue to disagree with me, why should you stop? If I say black you say white, you always have and always will. Contrary just for the sake of argument with me.
whatevs- you’re too boring to argue with.

      • jeang says:

This was only the first competetion…..We may see him later on in a future episode. Can you just imagine the shenanigans Jillous would be pulling, whining and bitching out the skating guy and her lazy ass attempt to skate. Betheny is a go getter, Jill is a lazy whining bitch and would have been kicked out in a flash if she even lasted long enough to get to the first performance.

      • DJ Loops Fruit says:

she wasnt pretending thier were only 2 as you can see 3 of them sitting there his face is blurred which is an improvement in my opinion

I can’t believe how these people keep the smile on their face!!!!!!

      • VAgirl says:

        What are you talking about?

        • NJ Bev says:

If Bethenny were my daughter in law, married to my
only son, I would be enjoying my wine as well. I would
be terrified of pissing her off or crossing her in any way-
and given the stress level that she’s (beth) is under at
this point I would do everything I could to stay under the
radar-just give me a glass of wine, and let me wash the
          dishes.
I remember my first Thanksgiving with my in-laws
28 yrs. ago. I left the giblet bag in the turkey. I was
a FREAKIN wreck. I came from a family of four and my first holiday i had to cook for 24 people.
I forgot food in the microwave, had no coffee and 6
apple pies. after everyone left, I finished all the
wine left in 1/2 empty bottles.

          • VAgirl says:

I left the bag in my 1st turkey, too!

            • NJ Bev says:

              I think the hardest thing
for Beth, is that she’s a
              prof. cook and has that
              perfection gene.
              I didn’t even know
              about the stupid giblet
              bag until my MIL
              discreetly removed it
              and I yelled”eewwww
              what is that!!”
              Glad to know i wasn’t
              the only one, tho!!

            • DJ Loops Fruit says:

most people do it the first time and LOL its teh last time too

          • vilzvet says:

No coffee and six apple pies! This is cracking me up! I think we have all done the giblet bag at one time or another, no harm done. I do love making that giblet gravy though.

      • OneMoreInBoston says:

        evidently not a Bethenny fan?

        • NJ Bev says:

I love Bethenny, even if i can’t spell her name.
But she can be scary at times, just like the best of us-
I thought her in-laws did a great job at trying to
          keep things light hearted.
c’mon who wouldn’t be pissed if their turkey
was raw after all those hours in the oven-but she
should know you can’t keep opening that oven door-
the temp goes back down every time you open it.

          • NormaJean says:

She was upset because the oven was on the fritz, she paid someone to fix it and it was still not heating properly.

      • Kansas Girl says:

Oh, I thought she was just really relaxing and having a great time. Who would think their son would get married and they’d end up on a tv show!

  63. cusi77 says:

BEA is getting better and better. B talking with the therapist while things are going on is the best happy way to understand Bethenny.

  64. VAgirl says:

Ah, how refreshing after OC and NY. That hour flew by!

  65. NMhousewife says:

B’s freakout was not as bad as I thought based on previews, and she did come out and apologize. I would be horrified if I was hosting Thanksgiving for the first time and the main dish was raw, especially for in-laws. In fact after 20 years of marriage, cooking for the in-laws still freaks me out. Overall, I thought it was an enjoyable episode.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Bethenny is a chef, not a cook, so she must have been mortified! It will be a fun memory for their first Thanksgiving.

    • TLM says:

My first thought was just to cut up the turkey and pan-fry it, since the oven was unreliable. It looks like they did cut it, but still used the oven? I don’t think I would have bothered with the oven after it failed once. I’m actually in need of replacing a range right now, and I used to look at B’s stove with envy. Now I’d love to know what brand it is so I can avoid it! It looks kinda like a Thermador. If anyone has any info on this, let me know!!

      • alicia says:

Make sure you get the proper vent for the size of your commercial range. My stove is large and I can still smell some gas smell when I use it. The contractor is coming next month to check it- gas company checked and said it is not leaking. I have heard the viking and wolf ranges are wonderful.

    • error404 says:

“B’s freakout was not as bad as I thought based on previews”

this is pretty much true of any Bravo preview of any show. I’ve just stopped watching them because too many times they are too misleading.

  66. OneMoreInBoston says:

This is just the cutest show! I smile through the whole hour. So nice.

  67. NJ Bev says:

Yeah- great episode. they get better and better. loved that
she left out Johnny Wierd, such a classy way to say eff you.
    perfect.

  68. Kansas Girl says:

I like how the therapy session framed this week’s show. It was like reading a good book.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Was thinking the same thing – told in an epic fashion. Love that Bethenny knows she is taking on too much and still managing to navigate situations with humor, love and grace.

  69. AZ Girl says:

Johnny got zippo air time on BEA and karma is a bitch. Good for Bethenny!!!! She did so well and put up Johnny I am so proud of Beth

  70. Nancy says:

Re: Johnny Weir…he would not give Bethenny permission to air anything.
I know no one wants to hear this but he’s really a great guy.

    • VAgirl says:

Sorry, Nancy. You may know him through your professional skating, but I’ve watched and read a lot about figure skating and witnessed his diva ways many a time, not just on SKWS. And he was obviously biased on that show. Admit it.

      • Nancy says:

And Bethenny’s not a diva herself? Have we ever seen someone win an argument with Bethenny? Play fair.

        • NormaJean says:

Sorry Nancy but Jonny himself said that he’s good friends with Jill and had suggested that Jill be a contestant. He was biased and had it in for Bethenny from the get go.

        • VAgirl says:

So you think B was judged fairly by him? Just asking.

          • NormaJean says:

I think he got personal in his comments to her. I think her basic skating skills were weak and she was too stiff but I never understood how Sean Young and Vince could fall and get a higher score.

          • DJ Loops Fruit says:

no i dont think he judged her fairly when he gave high scores to people that FELL ON THE ICE and then she would skate and NOT fall and get lower scores

    • mariareads says:

Sorry, I watched the way he behaved when she skated. It was so obvious he had an agenda of his own (or someone else’s). A blind person could have seen it. I don’t believe he’s nice and I also believe he’s a little nuts.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

He has had an interesting professional career – but he was a horrible judge.

    • girlygirlnyc says:

I used to think so too. I loved the show Be Good Johnny Weir. Turns out he is really an asshole. Showcased by his petty bitchiness on Skating with the Stars. He should know better than anyone what it is like to go in to a competition with biased judges.

      • VAgirl says:

Yes. I always kind of gave him the benefit of the doubt and thought he may have just been misunderstood. But he showed his true colors on SWTS. Didn’t help the integrity of the figure skating community in my view.

    • Katiecoo says:

I thought he was interesting and cool until his incredibly outlandish bizarre judging/comments on the SWTS show. Why wouldn’t he want himself shown on her show? What on earth could he not be wanting out there? Is it that he’s not wanting to propogate his own behavior? Because one would think being shown on the most popular show on the Bravo network would be a coveted slot, esp for a gay man (seeing Bravo is historically very gay friendly). I was glad to not have to relive his abusive remarks though. It was bad enough the first time around. The other judges were harsh but he was in a league all his own.
I picture JW and Jill all huddled up in her bed watching BEA stopping to pause every 5 seconds and bash and slam her while cackling like 2 little tweens. And Jill of course publicly acting like she’s never seen it. COUGH!

      • NJ Bev says:

Don’t forget Bethenny is an Executive producer on
her show-if she doesn’t want him shown, well….
        tough.

        • nathania says:

Yes, I would think this would have been her call.

I don’t know how it works but I was under the impression that once someone gives permission to be filmed the footage belongs to the copyright owner so I am not sure that Johnny would have had any say about how the footage could have been used after the fact, unless that was stated in his contract ahead of time.

          • DJ Loops Fruit says:

nbc owns the rights he doesnt

            • TLM says:

I don’t think NBC owns the rights, since it aired on ABC. Since ABC allowed for the intro of the show and other footage to air, either Weir had control over his own image and denied permission, or it was an editorial decision on Bethenny’s part, perhaps in conjunction with her legal team.

Contracts are written specific to individuals. Weir may have had a contract that allowed him to retain control over the use of his image in the re-airing of the show, or may have threatened to sue over it, and no one wanted the aggravation. You never know.

    • DJ Loops Fruit says:

uh no he is NOT a really great guy
he is pretty much a evil bitch
trust me i know of what im speaking
he is quite obnoxious on twitter

    • kbinldo says:

I think once you appear on a show, you lose control over clips that are aired later. They didn’t air footage of Sean Young or Vince Neil, but they sure as hell talked about them! Johnny Asshat wasn’t even mentioned in passing.

    • OneMoreInBoston says:

How is he a great guy?

Besides saying hi to you in a skating rink what has he ever done for anyone that proves he is a nice guy?

  71. Duchess of Dryer Lint says:

Okay, I must vent. Oh, Hey Everyone!
Now, I am not one to do much complaining, as most of you on here know. I am a peace loving woman by nature. HOWEVER, Since the season premiere, BEA has aired at 10 and then reaired at 11, so if I missed it due to various laundry duties (hee hee) or whatever the reason, I did not panic as I could see it at 11. NOW, for the last 2 weeks, this strange lisping Londoner with a mouth full of mush that I cannot for the life of me understand and whose insipid show bores me stupid has REPLACED my 11 o’clock showing of the only Bravolebrity that still has my full attention. Please do not attack me for the description of the PIH lady. I know it is not nice, but I am usually nice so cut me a bit of slack. I might even like her if she would STOP taking over my 11 o’clock Bethanny fix. GRRRRRRRR……. *Shakes fist to the heavens and cries “WHYYYYYYYY?!”*

    • Kansas Girl says:

Dryer…vent… Hah! OK, I think I need to turn in. My sense of humor is getting the best of me.

      • Duchess of Dryer Lint says:

BWAHAHAHAHAH, a more Sonya like woman would say “uh, yeah, I meant to say that, glad you caught my meaning” but, the truth is that I didn’t even realize the connection. You got me! That is AWESOME!

        • Dani says:

Duchess of Dryer Lint it is so good to see you posting. I love your sense of humor and I am glad you are back!!

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Good point – the one show I would like a double shot of and Bravo changes the game.

    • TLM says:

No attack coming from me. I think most people are bored stiff by Pregnant in Heels.

    • cusi77 says:

Nice to see you around Duchess, we’ve missed you! I do not like PIH at all!

    • VAgirl says:

I’m with you duchess. I would like to watch BEA a 2nd time tonight.

    • VAgirl says:

here here. I want to watch BEA again.

    • LynnNChicago says:

I wondered the same thing, I looked at Bravo’s schedule to see if it was safe to watch the Royal couple special that was on at the same time as BEA, no go, they’re not repeating it at all tonight and that is highly unusual for Bravo, what are they up to?

      • NormaJean says:

I think they’re trying to bolster PIH viewership by using BEA as a lead in. I read that PIH is only getting 1/2 million viewers.

      • girlygirlnyc says:

Since I just finished my taxes, I am in that frame of mind… Do you not have a DVR? You could write that off and your entire cable bill!
How do you watch and write about all these shows without being able to record, pause and rewind? That is SERIOUS dedication! Half the time I don’t even watch the shows I record because I read your re-caps. Can’t say it enough, THANK YOU, LYNN!

      • HD says:

Dang. I missed it. I thought they would replay it. I cannot believe they didn’t. Bravo is notorious for replaying everything in one night. 😦

    • vilzvet says:

Cannot understand her either, and I have not watched the show, just little snippets and previews. She doesn’t finish her words or something. She just needs to enunciate better, is all.

  72. NJ Bev says:

    Oh Wow Duchess!
haven’t seen you in a while!! You are completely within your
right to be annoyed. I missed The 1st 10 min of BEA and thought
I would see them now, but.
I think they put PIH there for the BEA lead in- apparently
the show is dying in the ratings.
Good to hear from you Dutchess!!

    • Duchess of Dryer Lint says:

I’ll be around a bit more, now NJ. I finally graduated school. Now all I need is a job. And a one legged nun walking a goat. Then I win.

  73. Duchess of Dryer Lint says:

Awwww! Thanks for the love, nice to be missed, but I have been lurking, just not commenting much. I am keeping up with you all the best my schedule would allow, but now I am free to indulge more often! Love to all of you!

  74. Dani says:

I thought this was a great episode and I liked the way it started out. With B talking to her therapist, and then going on to explain what led to her freakout. I have to say that I thought about what her Thanksgiving’s must have been like when she was a child. I felt badly for her and her guests. I love her show, however, it always makes me cry.

  75. jeang says:

Who could have ever imagined when Betheny met and fell in love with Jason that he would be such a natural and funny co-star for Betheny?…..BEA is a breath of fresh air and its so pleasant not to have to watch Jillous,Krazy,Luman,Sonja,Vicky and Gretchen and Tamra low class whining and screeching.

    • NJ Bev says:

      ITA, jeang
he is the most natural in front of the camera of all the men!
how ironic that she found someone who is so ‘sympatico?’ sp?
does that make sense? He , like Bethenny, gets the fact that this
isn’t Brain surgery, they both have a sense of humor about it and
realize they aren’t going to create world peace by being in a reality show-
they take it for what it is, a TV show, meant for entertainment.
Most of all, they don’t take themselves so seriously.
I think that’s why I have so much fun watching them.

  76. Katiecoo says:

Watching Vicki with Donn in EVERY scene last night was excrutiating. It’s truly observing an emotionally and verbally abusive marriage. All I kept saying to myself was “I’m just so glad this man got away from that narcissistic bitch.”

Bethenny and Jason on the other hand show some of their dirty laundry and conflict yet they also show how their love soothes those moments and also, bigger than that, a SENSE OF HUMOR. Neither of which Vicki shows one ounce of either alone or toward her now ex husband. She’s just insufferable. She needs to go away.

    • NJ Bev says:

      @Katiecoo(cute name)
The difference between watching Vickie and Bethenny has become very
obvious to me over the last year.
Vickie thinks she’s doing us a huge favor by letting us watch her life
      dissolve.
Bethenny knows we are doing her a favor by watching her life evolve.
Bethenny realizes that without us, there is no show-she “gets it”.
unlike Vickie, who like you said, takes herself too seriously. no sense of
humor. Most of the housewives are like this. It is not fun to watch
      most of the housewives anymore.

      • Dani says:

NJ Bev I agree with you. I think Bethenny appreciates her fans and knows she is where she is because of them.

  77. Veronique says:

Does anyone know FOR SURE (hopefully with evidence of some kind) who decided to cut Johnny Weir, Bethenny or Johnny?

Not rumor, or guessing, just the absolute facts?

    • VAgirl says:

      i do not know

    • Katiecoo says:

I wonder if she’ll address this somehow/somewhere tomorrow. Let me repeat a post down here that I made up there on this topic (sorry for the redundancy, just it might get buried up there ):

I mentioned upstream also that Bethany is a Producer on her
show. She can have final word on what gets shown and what
        doesn’t.
If you were her, would you show any footage of him?
I might refer to him as “that 3d judge who wasn’t any
nicer” or something to that effect.
Even if he wouldn’t sign the waiver, there are ways around it,
if she wanted to make him look like the jerk he was, she could
have. She could have blurred his face, and made several references to his behavior. But she knows we all saw the show.
No matter whose choice it was(jonnys or beths) it was
the best choice for Bethenny. hands down.

        • VAgirl says:

ITA. I believe she took the high road and he will not be mentioned at all. We shall see.

        • Katiecoo says:

          Right on.

If he stands by his words on SWTS, then he has everything to gain by being shown on her hit show. She has nothing to gain by furthering his nastiness or reliving it.

Now Jill Zarin would show it and have numerous private interviews about it on camera talking about how “nice” she is and how “haaarrible” he was to her, tears even. Then there would be various “bedroom” scenes with her petting Ginger who would be licking her nostrils and talking on the phone about what a “haaarible person” JW is, then shots of her at lunch with Luann bitching about how “haarible” he treated her–adding in a few juicy embellishments too. Crying. Shaking her head. Claiming and reclaiming her “nice person” status.

That’s the difference between Bethenny and Jill Z. Right there.

          High road vs., well, Jill.

          • nathania says:

It kills me to say this but it so would not surprise me, in a way, to find out it was true that he had a friendship with Jill. My experience of his ‘fandom’ was that he was positively surrounded by Jill types, meaning hyper controlling and grasping middle aged women secretly in lust with him, at every angle. I started following his skating around 2006 and it is because of my experience with the bizarre, to put it politely, world of figure skating fandom, that I have chosen to not follow skating or get attached to any figure skaters ever again. I have never really been exposed to such a strange little world as the world of male figure skaters, and their borderline lunatic groupies.

I bet I will catch heat for saying that ‘out loud’ so to speak (or type). But I don’t particularly care.

            • DJ Loops Fruit says:

well they both twitter to each other in a sickening way and they both claim to be friends with the other
i told him off one day so badly i was shocked i didnt get blocked
but rather had the sickening feeling that he was into that

              • quincyil says:

Jill enjoys knowing famous people. I’m sure she loves saying that he is her friends.

He was really good on the ice. I think he is changing careers and controversy probably helps that.

        • DJ Loops Fruit says:

well his face was blurred and luckily no mention of IT

          • NJ Bev says:

@DJ, I wonder what he could have said that made you so upset? do you remember?
I’m only asking out of pure nosiness, so if you
don’t remember or care to talk about it, I’m
            sorry.

        • TLM says:

I actually think it would have been interesting to include and blur his face or whatever, which would have made him look silly. Especially referring to him as “the third judge.” LOL.

      • DJ Loops Fruit says:

LOL if Bravo were any more gay friendly it would be LOGO lol

  78. Dani says:

I am so glad that B took the high road in regards to Johnny Weir and didn’t mention him at all. I mean really what could she have said that would not have been the truth. He was rude and obnoxious and he had it out for Bethenny and you could tell it. He might be a good skater, but everything I have read about him he sounds like he is very nasty. I loved tonight’s episode and thought Bethenny did a great job skating. I enjoyed watching her skate on her show more than when she was on SWTS. I guess it was because you could see how hard she worked to give a good performance. I have to say also that I started watching OC before BEA came on and I had to change the channel. I don’t care for any of the women and it is boring. Do I really care about Gretchen taking her dogs to the vet or Tamara talking about how the Mace was a joke and Alexa took it all wrong, then we have Vicki being a bitch to Donn like always. And, of course how important her job is and how much she loves it because it is her hobby. They are just all to much for me. I want to be entertained with shows like BEA. I could not believe it was over so fast. I am getting ready to watch it again as I recorded it.

    • nathania says:

I am finding the same thing to be true about OC.

I am finding that I am not interested in the women in their early thirties and OC has two of them now. I am suspecting that Bravo is starting to widen the age groups to appeal to a wider group of people, this I felt was shown on Miami, with Larsa, Christy, and the other one I can’t remember her name, the blonde, well, plus Adrianna as well.

I can relate to the complexity of the lives of the women who are a bit older, losing their looks, saying goodbye to children as they leave home, some losing their husbands, having various surgeries to maintain, etc, etc. I cannot relate to someone like Alexis Bellino. Gretchen was more than enough from that age group. Peggy, the new character, i have already decided is an idiot. Vicky is unbearable this season and Tamara just looks and sounds mean. Truly, that dark eyeshadow she insists on wearing makes her look almost evil. She was a sympathetic character last season because of Simon’s psycho control issues. He really did have ‘evil in his eyes’ or whatever it was Vicky said, he was like a cloud on a perfectly sunny day.

Eddie trips my gaydar. May be groundless, but it’s true, he does. I just don’t care to watch it. The Fernanda character was stiff and unnatural on camera, I didn’t know she was really one of the new cast members. I haven’t seen really anything worth watching it for so I missed this last one.

      • DJ Loops Fruit says:

Alexis the blonde one is in her 40’s if im not mistaken her son in 17 going on 18

    • DJ Loops Fruit says:

      Icky is beyond it
you would think her job involved solving world hunger or finding a cure for cancer
heres a clue Icky nobody cares about your oh so Fasinating job
      no one

      Hi DJ~
Trying to catch up on all the posts. What did I miss? lol
      How are you today? 🙂

      • DJ Loops Fruit says:

its so hard to catch up sometimes i have to make daily visits just to catch up
mostly post about last nights BEA

  81. BaaBee Loves Kitties says:

It sounds like Bethenny, from what I am reading might be taking advice from everyone around her finally. Missed last nights BEA but caught last weeks & it was great to see her & Jason & Bryn & da Boo Boo enjoy what they have.
Do you think she could just coast & not work as much as least until Bryn starts school?
I would think they could live quite well & enjoy this time with her new hubby & baby cause these are times most mama’s would love to be home with their child instead of having to work. With her income she can probably do nothing for a few years.

    • VAgirl says:

Good morning BaaBee and DJ. No, I don’t think Bethenny has it in her to not work and take it easy. She is driven. Maybe she’ll slow down on all her public appearances once her talk show starts. But I think she’ll keep on coming up with new business ventures for a long time. It’s just in her DNA or because of her upbringing (or lack thereof) for her to look for the next big thing in her life. Perhaps if she has a 2nd child, that may force her to slow down a little.

      • BaaBee Loves Kitties says:

Hi VAgirl~was watching show last night where they were at the Skinny Girl Bottling plant.
Since I am an alcoholic I will never be able to have a Skinny Girl Margarita. Do they have non~alcoholic ones too?
Missed new episode of course. 😉

Good Morning Sweetie. How is life in the construction zone?

      • boston02127 says:

@viki–Messy and loud. The other day I had said it’s 4 rooms but I was told you don’t count bathrooms. So it’s 3 rooms. The old master bedroom is my living room. My brothers old room is now my bedroom and my old room will be the kitchen. They cut thru the walls of my old bedroom to the pipes for the new kitchen. Monday’s I’m home most of the day but today I have classes & work and I’m looking forward to getting out of here for the day. It will be nice when it’s done and everything is clean again. One good this is that until the downstairs gets rented, I’m using that kitchen for coffee & the fridge.

I missed last night but from what I gathered B flipped out about the turkey not being done. Join the club. Honey, my family flips out during major holidays too. One time my aunt actually put me and my brother out of her house. LOL!

    • BaaBee Loves Kitties says:

      Hiya Hannah~
Boy I bet we could both fill a book with stories of family holidays! lol
      How are you today? 🙂

      • HD says:

I am good. How are you?

Girl I could write a book! One time my brother and uncle got in a fist fight, one time my sister got so mad she said she was cooking any f*cking dinner, the list goes on and on and on. Now we just laugh about it because it is that funny. It’s just dinner. LOL! So I understand B flipping out. You flip out, you calm down, you eat and then you vow not to cook that much food again at the next dinner which of course never happens. You do it all over again because you’re family! And torture is for everyone. 🙂

        • TLM says:

Not in my family. My mother decided years ago she didn’t feel like ever cooking Thanksgiving dinner, and has scheduled a holiday OUT OF THE COUNTRY every year since. Consequently I haven’t had a family Thanksgiving in many years. So I get Bethenny on many levels.

      • NJ Bev says:

        Hi Patty.
hope you are having a great day.

          Hi Beverly~
I am having a fabulous day thank you.

I’ve had my husband apologize to guests throughout my dinner parties. ROTFL Apparently, my version of Iranian food wasnt’ up to snuff. I had Middle Eastern female friends defending me. rotfl

I think it’s more about being welcoming and less about being perfect when it comes to food, but my kids don’t consider me a cook much less a chef.

      Q

      • HD says:

lol @ Quincy. Now I am sure that is hard when you have to cook an entirely different type of food versus the “American” traditional holiday food-turkey, ham, sweet potatoes, etc. I am sure you did fine.

        • quincyil says:

I used a little bit of sugar in some yeast to give it a boost and the bread had a sweet taste. He freaked out. They don’t do that in Iran.

I had a fried whose father in law was the Ambassador from Lebanon to Eygpt and had been the Ambassador from Lebanon to India. My brother in law was visiting and he was a member of the Iranian Parliament and had served in Japan as a member of the Ministry of Oil (?) selling oil to Japan. So the guests were sorta high class. I called them Mr. Ambassadors and they didnt’ notice the bread at all.

          • Kansas Girl says:

When I’ve had internationals over for meals and try to cook some of their native foods, they usually are disappointed. They say they were hoping for a typical American meal in a typical American home. So now I just make my normal food.

And btw, the Japanese apparently adore spaghetti. I had 2 young Japanese women eat 3 large helpings of spaghetti, cleaned it up. And I sent them home with a jar of Ragu and a tube of Italian sausage so they could make their own. LOL. Typical American food!

  84. quincyil says:

Boston 02, this is a note from Harvey. In a previous life, Harvey (my Pooka) was attached to a major crime boss and spent some time watching over the mobster in the federal pen.

    http://www.nytimes.com/2011/04/19/nyregion/at-a-mob-trial-testimony-focuses-on-the-knife-and-fork.html?hpw

For example, when he listed his past crimes last week, including as many as a dozen murders, food came into play. The prosecutor, Taryn A. Merkl, asked about Mr. Massino’s corruption of a prison guard in the late 1980s when he was being held in a federal jail in Manhattan.
“What did you bribe the prison guard to do?” Ms. Merkl, an assistant United States attorney, asked.
“He was bringing in food for us, cold cuts, shrimp, scungilli,” he replied.

Harvey says that the mobsters run their operations out of prison. Some guards help them.

Harvey also wants to share that he is much more happy living on the prairie and spending time under bushes rather than in cells in the federal prisons. He is also willing to play the Easter bunny for any grandchildren and children of board members. Harvey’s dark days of incarceration are over.

    • Kansas Girl says:

After reading this, I am somewhat less eager to eat out in that area!

I’m glad Harvey is enjoying the freedom of the prairie. How does he fit his 7 foot frame under a bush? IL bushes must be larger than normal? rotfl!

  85. quincyil says:

I am dying to know the behind the scenes of the MIA judge from Skating with the Stars. I am sure there will be articles on this and if someone sees anything, please bring it to the board.

Johnny is not the quiet type. Bethenny probably thought it had something to do with Jill and that is why is not not on the show.

    • HD says:

Quincy did they block his face or cut him completely? Were the other judges shown? Maybe he didn’t sign a release? I bet that was it. Or he was such an a$$ B didn’t want to give him any airtime on her personal show?

      • kbinldo says:

Cut him completely. They didn’t even mention him by name, like they did the others.

      • quincyil says:

As if he never excited…. two judges shown giving the scores, not three.

She show was on ABC, not NBC as mentioned above. I’m sure Bethenny had to get their permission to film and show their footage. Perhaps, he did not sign off, but I think once ABC has it, he would have no say. I think Bethenny cut him out of her life as she did Jill Zarin.

There is a danger in what Bethenny does with toxic people. Bryn will notice the events with Bethenny and she will notice that someone who crosses mommy disappears. This will over time affect Bryn as her Bethenny’s mother affected her. Being loving at times does not eliminate the bad moments that Bryn will notice. Everyone at that dinner was upset by Bethenny’s behavior and frankly she ruined that holiday just as her mother ruined her own holidays as a child.

I think Bethenny needs to see the therapist more often and she needs to change.

Jill Zarin, Luann, and even Kelly told us that Bethenny has these moments of rage. That is why they have issues with her. Owning your past behavior and words is not enough. You have to stop that behavior and control your words.

I read Bethenny’s book. Bethenny destroyed men and even families went to war over her affair. She only thinks of it in terms of her own needs. That doesn’t work when you are a wife and mother.

I like Bethenny, but she has an inner rage. Jill Zarin, Luann and Kelly have told us about it. We saw some of it on RHNYC. We see it here on her own show. Time to grow up, Bethenny Frankel Hoppy. Owning it is not enough…Stop that behavior….

        • HD says:

          Girlllllllllllllllll what affair?

          • HD says:

Also as for not showing the all the judging doesn’t that kind of through off the show? I mean we all know he was on the show so you may as well show him if you have permission. Also why no rerun of the show? Maybe she didn’t want that flipping out to be shown over and over. Did she flip out real bad? Also what do you mean destroyed men? Fill me in. I am not buying that book. I did buy some SGM but I would have bought that if anyone made it. LOL!

          • OneMoreInBoston says:

            right?

            OK Q- spill it!

you stated “I read Bethenny’s book. Bethenny destroyed men and even families went to war over her affair. ”

            m’kay-what???

          • quincyil says:

Bethenny had an on again off again affair with one of her first huband’s close friends. You have to read her book, it is packed with juicy stuff.

            • quincyil says:

The husband’s family was close to the boyfriend’s family….they are still at war over what Bethenny did.

              • butterisafruit says:

                She’s our own Barbara Walters!

              • NormaJean says:

So you are saying that she was married to her 1st husband at the time and cheating on him with one of his close friends? Or did this happen after they were separated or divorced?

                • quincyil says:

I said the timeline is unclear. She went from her first husband to his friend and she mentions that the family’s which had been close went to war.

        • Kansas Girl says:

I heard her say all 3 scores when they were discussing the performance in the back room, just before the little interview. But she said them really fast and there was conversation over it. The production might also have lowered the volume or tone, as it really did not stand out clearly.

        • katiecoo says:

I’m sorry I have to disagree about how B handles “toxic people”. She’s not like someone who experiences one “cross” or “infraction” then cuts someone out of her life (I’ve seen those types). We watched her try and try and try with Jill over weeks if not months only to get retraumatized and shut out…and when she hit that “enough is enough” point, she closed that door. We ALL cheered her on (except Jill). There is a time to leave the party. What’s better? Teaching Bryn how to be codependent and stay in abusive relationships?

Johnny Weir was a complete nobody to her. It’s good to know when to slam a door in someone’s face who means absolutely nothing to you too. Not like she had some big ongoing relationship with him that Bryn would “miss” or feel a longing for. He presented straight up asshole and she slammed that door. I applaud her for this boundary setting. We women as a whole could learn to do that a lot better imo.

        • Error404 says:

Bryn hoppy is just another human on the planet. She’s not one of those tibetian boys born wit hthe ancient soul of the Dali lama or whatever. She’ll be just as negatively influenced by her mom’s faults as all the rest of us poor slobs. LOL

          • VAgirl says:

Agree with both of you Katiecoo and Error. Once something bites you over and over, you get rid of of away from that something. It’s called survival.

            • quincyil says:

It makes your child wonder if she makes a mistake, will she be exiled forever. This is the danger that I see.

              • OneMoreInBoston says:

                interesting point Q.

You’re worried that the little Brynn will see mommy ‘disappear” bad people in her life, making Brynn insecure about what mommy will do if Brynn is bad.

I wonder how B’s mother handled toxic people too?

              • Dani says:

I agree with Katiecoo and Error 404, Bethenny gave Jill several chances to redeem herself. And, Weir sorry he was just a ass&h()* to her. Why would you want people like that in your life? I have a sister-in-law and for years I put up with some pretty nasty things, I finally said enough is enough and I no longer talk to her. I feel this is a better way to handle it than constantly having conflict in a family or friendship.

      • TLM says:

It was as if there were only 2 judges on the show, HD. If you didn’t watch SWTS, you would have thought the only judges were Dick Button and that Laurie- choreographer woman.

    • mariareads says:

You know what? He ( the Johnny character) was a mean spirited creep with an agenda. I wouldn’t give that one air time on my show. Everyone knows the things he said and did. It’s no secret. It was obvious he had an agenda and that agenda was to kick B’s ass.
As for the talk of B’s rage-well I have a bad temper when I lose it but I’ll tell you this, I don’t keep toxic people in my life. If they don’t heed my requests to discontinue nasty behavior time and time again I eventually close the door on them and they are done. Jill said “WE ARE DONE” and it’s she who shut the door. So I think some of us are being a bit hard on B. Give her time. She has lived as if she’s still in her early 20’s for most of her life. She has settled down and has a child now. I think she is working hard at changing and is learning how to cope better. Lord knows she had no role models for that. It’s easy to criticize and say “time to grow up” but I’m here to tell you that especially in times of crisis (and I’m going through a hell of a crisis time in my life so I know this from personal experience) things come back at you from the past and they do hurt and they do cause people to behave inappropriately sometimes. I have flipped in my kitchen over a less than perfect piece of a meal (family in the restaurant business and I learned that behavior) I have said things I wish I hadn’t. But time has passed and I have worked on myself, reflected on the behaviors of people around me and modified my own behavior after some very positive role models I am fortunate to have. I have known women who had everything growing up and married into tons of money and their behavior and attitudes are horrific. No forward movement at all in the self awareness department. But I think all of us deserve to be cut some slack while we trudge through the muck of our evolution from child to adult and then to authenticity and better understanding. Also, re the affairs and so on. I’m in my 50’s and I know that that’s not at all uncommon in my generation and those behind me. As if B. had any role model at all growing up? Come on. Her mother was a serial affair monger and marriage opportunist. I think she gets points for going to therapy and finally beginning to see the light. ~ This is coming from someone who enjoys the show but doesn’t worship at the alter of Bethenny.
      Just some observations.

      Have a good day Boston.

I have a little construction tip. If you want to try it. Whenever we’ve had renovations..and we’ve had plenty. I get the carpenter to build a little opening, a small square and cover it with a facade. A fake floor inside a vanity or the bottom of a closet. And don’t tell anyone you did it. The carpenter will know but carpenters know more about us than we do.

Yes just a small little space. I guess you can go large depending on where it is. And you may never have the need to use it. Sometimes when people you don’t know well my be coming over or you might have to go away over night. You may not be able to get to your safety deposit box. It’s just good to have a private spot.

Johnny is no different than Jill – Bethenny removes the toxic people and then doesn’t have them as part of her life. She gave fans her explanation of sorts in her blog but doesn’t give JW any name recognition – just a nastier judge. I admire her for taking that route.

  88. Suzanne Russell says:

I just found this site about a week ago and I love it. This post if very different from the ones you usually post – but I believe it is a fitting way to think of this day in Oklahoma. It was writter by my son. Today I’m going to eat at Sonic. Fifteen years ago I was lying in bed reading when there was a loud noise and the house shook. I initially thought that a car had hit the house. I lived in Oklahoma City and I was three and half miles away from the Murrah… Federal Building. Within a couple of hours I was scrubbed in surgery at St. Anthony’s. I was no longer an employee, having parted ways with the hospital almost a year earlier. I was part of three separate teams working at the same time on the most seriously wounded patient. I’ve been scrubbing for almost twenty years. I remember two patient names. This woman is one of them. (The other was named David Stapleton.) At one point I went to see if I could help in instrument processing. St Anthony’s was the nearest hospital to the federal building. (Close enough that the hospital building itself had minor damage.) Hundreds of walking wounded had found their way to the St. Anthony ER. Almost all of them had severe lacerations. The average hospital stocks maybe thirty suture trays. Luanna, the scrub in charge of processing, had her staff opening every tray we wouldn’t being using that day, the GYN instrument and the like, and reassembling them into suture trays: Two hemostats, a needle holder, a pair of scissors and some forceps. When I came out of surgery, I was surprised to find bags full of Sonic hamburgers. Someone at Sonic had figured that there would be a lot of people working a lot of hours at the hospitals who would not have much chance to eat. They made and sent thousands of burgers to every hospital in town without being asked. Today I will say a prayer for the souls of the departed and a prayer for the continued health of the survivors and families. And I’ll eat at Sonic.See More

I finally had the pleasure of watching Mob Wives. It was quite interesting. Not really it just reminded me of Teresa and jackass Joe. I have a question? When someone is in prison why are they allowed to call for supplies such as food etc? I don’t get it. Does he have the penthouse in the prison with butlers and maids with phones that he is able to use whenever?

I had to watch Wendy Williams I am so entertained by Jill Zarin what a ridiculous piece of work she is. Enough with the I Dream of Jeannie look. She looks ridiculous, stupid, moron, idiot, etc. etc. etc. etc.
