I Hate Jill Zarin Bethenny Ever After

Bethenny Ever After      May 2, 2011

Only one episode left, just like the first season of Bethenny’s Getting Married? I’m really going to miss this show.  Bethenny’s show has been really fun to watch, like an hour long sit-com with real people.  It never fails to put a smile on my face.  For those of you who are sickened by me enjoying the show, get ready to vomit!

The Hoppy family is having a Merry Christmas in 75 degree weather in Malibu California.  Not only that but they’re staying at an amazingly beautiful home right on the ocean.  I can certainly see why Bethenny really wants to move to California.  Jason arrives a few days later and finds another man in his house.  Ethan, Bethenny’s Skating With The Stars partner spent the night on the couch in front of the fireplace.

Bethenny and Ethan did well on Skating With The Stars and I think that they made it to the finals due to a number of different factors.  It was like the perfect storm of Bethenny having the perfect partner who brought out the best in her, the fans rallied behind her because she was really thrown under the bus by the judges, in particular Johnny Weir and the fact that she really did improve from week to week until her confidence showed through.  Bethenny acknowledged on the show that it was her fans that got her through to the end.  She didn’t win the trophy but she certainly did what she set out to do.

I thought it was really sweet that they went as a family to the Christmas Tree farm and cut down their own tree, Jason tells us that his family started that tradition when he was a kid and that is a tradition that Bryn is going to cherish forever.   Jason thought the trees were expensive, he said this tradition is cheaper to carry out in Pennsylvania.  I thought the prices were pretty reasonable.

Jason and Bethenny took Cookie with them for a ride in the back of the big truck driven by the Tree Farm owner, who looked like Santa minus the red suit.  It was a bumpy ride but during the trip Jason and Bethenny had a very sweet exchange.  Jason told Bethenny that his family hasn’t had a lot to be happy about, after losing his brother I imagine every holiday had a dark cloud over the celebration.  Jason told Bethenny that she and Bryn have brought joy back into the Hoppy family’s lives and Bethenny was really touched.  Bethenny felt the same way about the Hoppy family bringing joy into her life.  It was very touching and real as they both were very emotional.

They all seemed to really have a great time decorating, and wearing ugly Christmas sweaters, having cookies and milk on the Christmas train and Cookie enjoyed helping herself to some of the Christmas food.  Bad Cookie!

We were told that the Hoppy’s went and spent Christmas with Jason’s parents in Pennsylvania when they left Malibu but we didn’t get to see it, maybe this was their private Christmas time or possibly it was cut out due to lack of time.

Back in New York we see ugly dirty snow and dirty streets and Bethenny tells us that now that Skating With The Stars is over it is business as usual.  Bethenny’s foodie friend Nick wrote his first food blog and Bethenny reads the entire blog out loud, she’s very impressed with Nick’s writing but also with the way that he turned it into a story including his impressions of Bethenny, he really understands what will work well on the web site.  Bethenny calls Nick and invites him out to a nice dinner to offer him a part time job to help writing and editing her web site.   Nick looks good with his new haircut but tells Bethenny that his girlfriend of 18 months just recently broke up with him.  Bethenny does her best to build his confidence, she seemed to know exactly how the relationship broke down and Nick seemed surprised at how well Bethenny understood what happened.  She’s an expert in the dating department, she’s done it for a really long time.

Nick impresses Bethenny once again with his knowledge of the different styles of Chinese food, he really does know his stuff.  With the exception of Max, Bethenny does a great job of knowing good people to hire, in her defense, Max said all the right things, he just wasn’t able to execute the job well.  I have to give Bethenny credit for taking the time to know Nick, recognizing his talents and bringing him on board to work with her, Nick is very lucky to have met Bethenny, he’s an interesting, smart and deserves this exposure, it’s the perfect working relationship.

The Skinnygirl bus is ready, Bethenny brings aboard a new assistant, who used to work for her and recently graduated from college.  Jackie is the assistant who was so kind to us when we went to see Bethenny when she came to Chicago, she also told me that she reads this blog…Hi Jackie!  Thanks again for everything, we really enjoyed meeting you and Bethenny while you were in Chicago!

The press is there as they board the bus, photos are taken and as they drive away, Bethenny reminds the team, including her very tall agent, Brian that they don’t poop on the bus.  Number one rule, no number two on the bus!  Bethenny is excited but a bit nervous, she’s spoken in front of hundreds of women but this will be thousands of fans in a large theatre.  When she arrives at the venue in New Jersey her name in lights on the marquee and the theatre manager tells her the theatre is sold out, Bethenny is clearly thrilled.

As the theatre fills with fans, they’re drinking Skinnygirl margaritas and dancing in the aisles, the atmosphere is fun and exciting for fans as they wait for Bethenny to take the stage.  This being her first appearance may have been  a bit different than what I saw but she was very laid back, relaxed and confident as she spoke to the audience, took questions and told some great stories.  As her tour continues, Jason at times has to stay back on the weekend and fly in to join the tour so that he can work as well.

Only 1 more episode, which is very sad but it looks like we’ll see the inside, real story of the sale of her Skinnygirl Margarita label and she certainly seems overwhelmed by the life changing amount of money she’s being offered.

From this morning’s Twitter pages, Bethenny was asked:

did that needle dick judge ask not to be on your show or did you decide not to give him the satisfaction?

Bethenny responded:

that skating judge refused to allow bravo to use the footage with him in it.

I love that Bethenny chose THAT tweet to respond to, she was asked several different ways why Weir didn’t appear on the show but she carefully chose the one that called him “needle dick”.  I think she’s brilliant!  In the end we got the answer to the question we’ve all been asking for weeks and she got a dig in to Weir.

Why do you all think that Johnny Weir refused to allow his ugly mug on screen?  He didn’t want to be involved with Bethenny in any way?  He was afraid they were going to make him look worse than he already looked?  It was kind of silly since most of Bethenny’s viewers did watch her and already saw him act like an ass on the show, besides all of his nasty comments are available on the internet to view anytime.  Whatever his reasons, he really only looks like a spoiled child and he may have just pissed off the wrong people at Bravo (NBC) by being stubborn.

Is that it or does Radar Online have the whole story?  They’re reporting that Bethenny had an outburst on the set:

“She angrily yelled at Johnny that she was a grown woman on ice wearing pigtails and sparkles and that she doesn’t take the whole thing too seriously. Johnny was backstage just talking to his friends, stylist Avo Yermagyan and designer Traver Rains, and you could tell by the look on their faces that they were stunned by her outburst.
“It was embarrassing to watch because the skaters are supposed to be respectful and maybe even woo the judges, but that didn’t seem like Bethenny’s agenda. “She said some nasty things that weren’t funny and then kept screeching louder and louder, over and over again, ‘you can’t take a joke!’

“Someone asked her what she was drinking and she stopped and responded a Skinny Girl Margarita, almost as if she took a moment to plug her drink she promoted”

Read the entire story here:

Tonight on Bravo, Top Chef Masters is growing on me, I like the challenges and the chefs are accomplished but we still see some conflict as their styles clash and while they seem to respect each other, everything isn’t always sunshine and roses.  The food always looks really good!

Reminder:  Coming soon our Jewelry give away contest, more details very soon.  In the meantime please check out the amazing jewelry available – jewlery worn by Bethenny, Tamra and other Reality Stars…

How many times did I say Johnny Weir refused & that was the reason why????

Doing my superior dance now. ROFLMAO

  2. Kelly_Has_Big_Shoulders says:

From the first few minutes of BEA I was cracking up and could not stop. My husband and teenage son even came in the room to see what was so funny. I love Bethenny trying to flaunt her butt for Jason that was so funny. I love the whole show and can’t believe it’s the season finale next week. Monday’s will suck now.

  3. T-REX says:

I am so depressed last week is the last show until next season, can’t wait until Bethenny’s next season already and wishing and hoping it’s a Bethenny is Pregnant Again Season!! I am not watching RHNY or RHOC and probably not RHNJ, it’s become so juvenile the way that they have started acting on these shows, for some reason this season has really turned me off watching the RH franchise.

    • T-REX says:

Whoops NEXT week not last week is Bethenny’s last show

      • boston02127 says:

I’m going to miss B too. I’m hoping that the last show will be a surprise for us and she will be having another baby.

        • Cusi77 says:

Me too. I thought there were tears of happiness in B eyes but I think now that it is the sale of Skinny Margarita’s multimillion sale.

        • DJ Loops Fruit says:

Its not that its about the sale of Skinny Girl

If she was pregnant we would all know by now

  4. nathania says:

I truly believe Johnny was afraid he would have been edited worse than he actually was. I mean, he was behind enemy lines.

I’m sure he knows Andy personally though.

  5. error404 says:

I don’t think tress are cheaper in PA, I think Jason is a self-confessed tightwad who probably hasn’t bought a tree since he was 17. LOL

The truck ride was great because it was nice for a change to see a) Jason be “the crazy one” and act all irrational about a silly hill, and b) it was nice to see him describe his family as imperfect and compliment her for improving it, rather than the usual “I’m the normal one” routine the show was pushing earlier in the season. I don’t see any evidence of the Hoppys having any problem with their DIL and have no idea why everyone was all over her like a rash earlier on about seeming to be awful to them.

    • TLM says:

That “3 trees for $45” thing didn’t sound right to me either. I get the sense that the more Jason is away from Hazleton, the cheaper prices get there: “What? I could feed a family of 10 for a year on $5 in Hazelton!” etc.

    • DJ Loops Fruit says:

no he is right they ARE much cheaper ever since Jimmys sister moved there they buy em every x mas and they are maybe 50 per cent cheaper then those prices shown

  6. Sus says:

I’m glad I’ve continued to watch. Bethenny has grown on me. I loved the Christmas tree farm. It’s awesome that they then went to PA to celebrate with Jason’s parents. There’s nothing like Christmas with a baby. The next few years are great too.

I know nothing about the skating world except the Tonya Harding/Nancy Kerrigan thing. Why is that Weir guy such a bitch ???

    • error404 says:

Johnny was always a controversial figure in skating who always seemed to be saying things that got everyone else upset. No one could ever figure out if he was fabulous and refreshing for telling it like it is, or a desperate attention whore who’d claim the world was flat if he though it would get his name in the paper one more time. He’s been actively seeking a career in reality TV for the past couple of years, and was on at least two other Bravo shows before BEA, so…

Yeah, he seems to have some sort of personal beef with B. Maybe she’s partly to blame, or maybe he’s just in Jill’s pocket, we’ll probably never know.

      • VAgirl says:

Yeah, even if B started some smack backstage, that didn’t mean Johnny had to bring out on the stage and in the public, but I guess he just couldn’t act like the professional he was hired to be. He really showed his ass.

        • TLM says:

I really think if you go back and listen to his comments, it was mainly the “I don’t care to watch you” comment that put everyone over the edge. Had he worded that differently, I don’t know that people would have gone as crazy. He did say a lot of complimentary things as well, but people forgot that when he made that remark. He and the judges were weirdly harsh on other contestants too. At times it seemed like they complimented people who sucked (Sean Young, Vince Neil) and came down hard on Bethenny, Rebecca, Johnny M and Michael Smith.

        • DJ Loops Fruit says:

i dont believe one word of that article

    • DJ Loops Fruit says:

he may have done it because of his friendship with Shrill or more likely he did it for the PUBLICITY
same with denying them the right to use it on her show
it doesnt matter to some if its good or bad publicity as long as they get the name right

  7. Butters'Mom says:

I have said it before and I will say it again, Johnny Wierd is an ass. And not in the fun shapewear kind of way.

  8. VAgirl says:

Thanks for the recap Lynn. I am going to miss watching B on Monday nights. I’m watching all the OC ladies shopping at the Jimmy Choo shoe store with Jo. The old OC episodes are at least watchable. It’s a shame it’s gotten to be so trashy and totally classless. I really miss Jeanna, Lori, and the old crew. Tamra, Alex, Gretchen and Peggy just don’t have IT.

    • DJ Loops Fruit says:

Tamra, Alex, and Peggy just don’t have IT.

      oh they have IT alright

thankfully they make pennicilin for that

  9. WindyCityWondering says:

Johnny W is so like his friend JZ – he can dish it but he can’t take it. Editing schmditing – he blasted her every chance he got and when he said I won’t watch you it was over! Bethenny won (by never reacting to his tiny tantrums) and everyone knew it. I truly felt bad for Ethan because he knew how hard their routines were and he expected to be judged fairly!

    • TLM says:

I do think it was silly he refused to let it be shown. It is what it is, it’s already out there, and some say any publicity is good publicity.

      • quincyil says:

I think the not filming with Bethenny idea may have come from Jill Zarin. She tried to get people not to help her in season three and she says she does not watch BEA or any Bravo TV on Mondays.

        • VAgirl says:

Why in the world would Johnny Weird listen to Jill? I would think being associated with her would be the kiss of death career wise, but maybe they really are good friends.

          • TLM says:

It’s sort of odd Johnny would have said no. Neither he nor Bethenny have ever been ones to shy away from controversy. Perhaps Bethenny a bit; she hasn’t started a Twitter feud since the Rachel Zoe thing. But I think Weir made a bad decision in saying no to the footage. He had a second opportunity to redeem himself which he squandered.

            • nathania says:

I imagine that the way it has shaken down, to appear that he inflicted on someone else the same unfairness that has dogged him throughout his whole career, is quite painful to him to reflect on. He probably wasn’t in touch with what a huge following Bethenny has and how successful she was in the process of becoming either.

If he and Jill truly are friends (I doubt it though because when I was following him tons of middle aged fanatics claimed friendship with him to the point of being stalker-esque and for a relatively new friend on the scene Jill Zarin to fight through that mix seems unlikely. What is more likely might be that Zarin befriended his mother or choreographer or coach or something. His groupies went to great length to exaggerate any association they might have with him but it is clear that when not around skating staff Weir spends his time around other gay men (shocking, no?)…

              • DJ Loops Fruit says:

that wouldnt explain why they continue to tweet to each other
most likely Johnny looks at jill like some gay men might as just another “fag hag”

yes its an offensive term i didnt coin it

          • error404 says:

For some reason Jill is really good at getting people to go all “attack dog” for her. It boggles the mind. But last year Jill, Johnny and Kate Gosselin all did a charity event together and the fur flew. Jill and Kate got into it, and suddenly Johnny just happened to remember that his cousins were former neighbors with the Gosselins and just coincidentally happened to go public with what horrible people they were, all trashy and always fighting, having absolutely nothing at all to do with Jill being mad at Kate at the time, I’m sure. LOL

            • DJ Loops Fruit says:

He better hope none of his former “lovers” come foward with just what trash he really is

        • lovemamaearth says:

I think it came from Jill too. Weir was stupid to be swayed by her silliness and I wonder if he’s smart enough to regret it.

      • DJ Loops Fruit says:

thats why he didnt let it be shown
he knew there would be publicity about that too

    • lovemamaearth says:

      I love what you said:
Johnny W is so like his friend JZ – he can dish it but he can’t take it. Editing schmditing – he blasted her every chance he got and when he said I won’t watch you it was over! Bethenny won (by never reacting to his tiny tantrums) and everyone knew it. I truly felt bad for Ethan because he knew how hard their routines were and he expected to be judged fairly!

      • nathania says:

that is something I have never thought about before, how Ethan felt about it. Has he ever expressed an opinion publicly?

Of course the skating world is so small and if he’s gay it’s possible he and Johnny dated and they all three might be in on it. Who really knows…

        • DJ Loops Fruit says:

even if Ethan was gay and i seriously doubt it
why would he date that obnoxious queen

  10. Suziq says:

I’m sorry Lynn, but you have become to biased. Your reviews are just not as interesting to me anymore. 😦 Your favorites can do no wrong and your non-favorites (anyone besides Bethenny, Alex, & Simon) can do nothing right. Boring.

    • VAgirl says:

Well Suziq, if you don’t agree with how Lynn sees things, then why don’t you say how you see things differently instead of just saying it’s boring. That’s what this is all about, people giving different opinions and discussions about what people think about the shows and the shows’ characters and why they think that way. It’s not for everyone to agree. So why not state why you feel differently?

    • Katiecoo says:

That’s the great things about being a blogger and not a (paid) reporter. You get to be completely biased and make things all about your own opinions. I love it. I’m super biased myself (for example, against Jill Zarin and for Bethenny Frankel). That’s the way I roll and no apologies for it! Believe me, my friends are glad I’m biased…in their direction. Bias is not a bad thing!!! 😀 Never thought this colorful blog would ever be called boring–now THAT’s a hoot!

    • codystl says:

suziq – Try lisanewengland’s blog. I’m pretty sure that you would prefer that one.

Lynn – I love your blog and so glad I found it a few months ago. First thing in the morning when I turn on my computer, lynnnchicago of the first page I look at to see if there is anything new.

    • lovemamaearth says:

We’re all biased. Say your piece and be happy it’s printed–unlike at Bravo.

    • nathania says:

it’s called journalism when the writer strives for objectivity. when someone writes a column on the internet about tv shows, it’s generally called a blog. and when the title of the blog starts with the words “I hate…” and names a specific person, you should expect editorialization, rather than objectivity.

    • Suzieq says:

That’s really weird how I posted yesterday disagreeing with Lynn about OC and today someone with almost the exact same name as me posts this really rude disagreement. Now I’m really worried that every time I post, ppl will think that this other person is me….

      • Suzieq says:

Just remember I’m suziEq with an “e”. 🙂

      • BlueSky_Forever says:

It helps that your quilt is a different color. So keep posting your thoughts. It’s the drive by posters who throw insults at Lynn & us that we don’t like. No one reads every post on this board (too many posts!) so don’t feel intimidated. Plus no one will remember this bad suzieq in a few hours.

    • DJ Loops Fruit says:

someones holding a gun to your head and forcing you to read them ???

Of course they are biased Lynn is writing the blog from her Perspective those are her opinions
      you dont have to agree

most times i dont agree with a lot of it but i do agree about Bethenn Simon & Alex
      I personally enjoy them more
doesnt make the blog boring for me

    • Suzieq says:

This just seems irrelevant to me….what in the world did bethenny do wrong last episode??? Do I just have my head too far up her butt to see any wrong??? Lol

  11. Katiecoo says:

Haven’t seen BEA yet so not gonna read yet but carry my JZ rant over from the last blog:

Ok this is probably off topic but I need to sound off about Jill’s self promoting blog she obviously created herself to aggrandize herself. I suspect this has already been said but I need to say it!

Interestingly while she’s busy self promoting herself and surrounding herself with cutesy photos and a rose garden and butterflies and “tranquility” (cough!) she puts up a video where Luann is totally SCHOOLED by Cat O’Manney. Luann is totally humiliated by Cat and many people would agree with it! She’s called out for being two faced a “shit stirrer” etc. And Jill feels like she’d like to “spread the love” while promoting this front and center on her blog which is the FIRST place I saw it!

Congrats Jill for throwing yet another “friend”under the bus! Of all the video you could show of Luann, you chose that one. What a doll! Jill cannot escape her competitive , aggressive, nasty personality no matter how much pink she surrounds her fangs with. And while I’m at it, the coquettish photo of her at the top is not only inappropriate but look at her face–she looks at best disingenuous and creepy and at worst semi evil in her eyes. While trying to be more of a teenager than her own daughter. Ugh! Tranquility indeed! She’s like the lady baking cookies for Hansel and Gretel saying “come on in”.

    Rant over!

    • VAgirl says:

I refuse to look at any of Jill’s websites, but if she put that video of her good friend Luann being taken down by Cat, then that is really really low. Why would she do that to a friend?

      • DJ Loops Fruit says:

Shrill doesnt have friends she has a fabulous Circle of People that she uses and dumps accordingly

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Jill’s behavior is very typical – my poor “friend” LuAnn – look what was said about her (and if you didn’t see it then I will show you)! Just like not personally talking to her poor “friend” Kelly when she landed for her close up on Scary Island. Jill says one thing but she is secretly happy when other housewives are being slayed – like this makes her look better than them.

      • Katiecoo says:

Exactly! I mean if I was Luann, I would never want that takedown watched again…by anyone! And Jill puts it up as one of her FIRST blog posts. A Narcissist never gets it right…somehow she thinks this makes HER look good? How does Luann feel about that tongue lashing by Cat being promoted (not that anyone is really reading Jill’s self love blog but still). She truly has no idea what it is to be a REAL friend.

    • quincyil says:

I am going to look at that. Thanks for telling us.

I think Darren, Jill’s assistant and PR guy, has something to do with Jill’s website. As you know I speculated that Darren is lisanewengland who had a twitter war with Lynn a while back. Darren/Lisa pretends to be sweetness and light like Jill Zarin pretends to be always happy and looking for the postitive.

On Sunday, a new poster here signed in to tell us on the board that lisanewengland had asked Cat (Catherine) Ommanney for an interview. Before asking for the interview, there was a tweet saying that Darren/Lisa did not think Cat O was nice to Luann.

Jill putting up this video at her website seems to be more evidence that Jill and Darren are very interested in Cat O. I think it upset Jill that Cat O invited Lynn to her book event in New York City.

Jill had also tweeted about the demise of the “Real Housewives of DC” a few days ago and Cat responded at that time with something about the campaign that we started here to get her on the NYC show.

I am postive that Jill and Darren/lisa read this site. I see them plotting in Jill’s bedroom on their next move in cyberspace to hit Cat O and Lynn.

Stay tuned to this blog for further updates……..

I think Jill Zarin has gone to war again !

      • Katiecoo says:

Gone to war against Cat? Now that’s a catfight I’d like to see. JZ doesn’t stand a chance there. And note how she already throws “collateral damage” Luann under the bus for her “war”. As I said, she doesn’t really know true friendship so she never gets it quite right.

        • quincyil says:

Can you give me a link to that? I want to take screen shots for the files.

I went to her site, but did not see it. Did you get her private email?

          • Katiecoo says:

Take some anti nausea medication before clicking…or a shot of tequila. For the “opening shot” alone.

            • quincyil says:

              Thank you so much.

You always have interesting posts and great finds.

              • AZ Girl says:

No fair! I posted that link yesterday. Whaaa 🙂

                • quincyil says:

I will give you credit too.

                  • quincyil says:

                    I gave Lynn your name…

                    Be happy…

                    • AZ Girl says:

I feel better since I have been nauseated since viewing Jill’s new site. Especially the link “I am famous” “follow me” to twitter. Vomit.

                • Katiecoo says:

Yes I got this off the other blog last night–must have been your link! I’m sure it was!…and I tortured myself 2 days in a row with it! Self abusive behavior!

            • error404 says:

I’ve always loved that pic! But what really makes Jill the gift from baby Jesus to make us laugh is all of the pathological lies. They’re just endless! LOL

Oh, and “Ally Zarin”, or Rachel, or Irene, or whatever name your going by today when you pay your daily visit, I did have an honest question. Is “The Real Ally Shapiro” starting Brown in Sept, or is it still undecided, or was it all just talk?

              • quincyil says:

After Bobby Build the new media wing next to the Communications building, it’s a go for Ally Shapiro at Brown.

              • Error, you’ve noticed Irene too. She ONLY comes here to bash Bethenny and to tell us that we are being “brainwashed” by her. LOL

                • quincyil says:

I think we are immune to this now.

                • Irene says:

That’s right! Its my own opinion and since it differs from your own, its just too much for you to wrap your Bethenny infused brain around.

Thank you, C, for developing this site along with Twitter & Facebook, for fans to be able to read only positive info about this wonderfully talented, generous, beautiful woman. I am in total agreement with you that there has been far too much negative misinformation written about Jill. I am a member of the Gingerettes, a group dedicated to uplifting Jill. I know that I say this everytime, however I must say it again. I love BEA, and like all of you I am so sad that next week is the last one of the season. This is truly the best show that Bravo has on. I am over all of the housewife shows and have not been watching them. I have a friend that loves sex and the city. She had the entire DVD set of all the seasons. So I have been watching it, it is racey but I love it lol.

    • Katiecoo says:

I’ve said from the beginning, Bethenny’s shows seems sort of SATC – like to me.

      • Dani says:

Funny you should say that I do see similarities.

      • lovemamaearth says:

And the others want to seem similar to SATC. lol

        • Dani says:

They do, however I don’t see a part for the likes of Jill, Luann or Kelly. If they had a game show titled Who Is The Biggest B*&ch, they could be on that. Of course Jill Zarin would be the winner.

          • lovemamaearth says:

Yeah Jill would probably win hands down. Lu and Cat would tie for second imo.

Everyone seems to say they’d like people to be honest with people to their faces but when they are, it looks like Peggy’s dinner party–pure nastiness.

It seems that with B, the conflict is within herself so there is no real bad guy. She’s flawed and trying to fix herself so her family can be happier. The therapy sessions in lieu of most TH segments was brilliant.

            • lovemamaearth says:

And wouldn’t a reunion with Dawa, Gina, Jason, Shawn, Ramona, Alex, Nick, Therapist guy, etc be fun for BEA’s fans?

              I would LOVE it.

    • DJ Loops Fruit says:

sex and the city was an awesome series
and the first film was really good
most hated the 2nd film but i sort of liked it
well the 2nd half of it more then the first

after that series the same writer and produce did a series with Lisa Kudrow that only lasted one season BUT was one of the best things i ever saw on tv
      The Comeback
brilliant witty way ahead of its time

most people online didnt get it at all

      was it a comedy
      was it a drama
like real life it was both

the best work Lisa Kudrow ever did how or why HBO canceld it is anyones guess they claim teh ratings were low
BUT since when does a premium cable network have to worry about ratings there are no advertisers to answer to had they given it another season i think it would have been a huge hit instead of teh cult show it became

Is anyone watching Bravo showing the S2 OC reunion? Can’t believe how Andy looked like he was 18 years old. LOL.

I have to comment on Jo and her “we broke up on a couch” thing. Why is it that she thought this was so clever? I’m not sure if this aired around the same time as the Sex In the City “broke up with me on a Post-it”, but “I can’t believe we broke up on a couch” isn’t funny or clever. Where would she have him break up with her? On the floor? On a high chair? In a swimming pool? Now, THOSE would have been noteworthy! Seriously, I never knew whether Jo was completely stupid, or if she did the best Jessica Simpson act known to mankind, but I just found her irritating. jodelarosamusic.com is defunct, and it looks like all traces of her on the Internet (My Space, Twitter) dried up 6 mos. to a year ago. I wonder if Jo has headed back to the mortgage biz, now that the economy is rebounding? Maybe she has found a nice accountant and settled down. Or maybe she’s with that guy from Date My Ex. I always thought she could have had a decent career as a model; she’s very beautiful, but she would kill it every time she opened her mouth.

    • DiaBLa says:

Wow!!! These shows are completely different now with all the fighting “mean girls”…….Hopefully this is going to be more of the direction that OC will go back to….Can we start a “Fire the Blondes of OC” campaign and get some New Ones that actually have money and are not so vicious??? Heck……I even miss Lynn now……….

    • kotagirl29 says:

Jo’s comment about breaking up on a couch was because they were on a couch in couple’s therapy when they broke up. I don’t think she was upset that they broke up as much as she was upset that he did it on camera, on the therapists couch.

      • TLM says:

I remember the scene well, and she never once mentioned the therapist, just THE COUCH.

I think Jo thought it was supposed to be a funny & clever line, I really do. I don’t think she got that it was neither.

I’m kinda starting to think the women who fall for Slade deserve to be with him. First Jo, then Lauri, then Gretchen. Water seeks its own level.

        • DJ Loops Fruit says:

it was clever at the time because everyone knew they were in couples therapy

      • lovemamaearth says:

Didn’t Slade say he was committed to their relationship at a level 2? Or was that how much he thought Jo was committed?

Was that reunion set gaudy or what?

        • TLM says:

It was the early days. I just can’t believe how much Andy has aged since then. Then again, maybe I can — he’s the only one who hasn’t had surgery. LOL.

          • DJ Loops Fruit says:

if Ihad to interact with all those cast id be suicidal
            and age another 20 years

luckily for Andy nothing makes him look bad

    • lovemamaearth says:

I’m not sure how Jo got to be on OC. She sure wasn’t relationship quality at that time being so young and trying to “find” herself. And the Slade then and the Slade now are like night and day. Jobs and self respect are really connected for men.

      • BlueSky_Forever says:

Well maybe he had a job back then but I still called him Slimey Slade…just didn’t like him at all from day 1 that he was on the show. He just gave me a creepy vibe.

Without Bethenny, they are a bunch of matronly women trying to look hot.

My hot days were over 30 years ago. I get hot after circuit training, running, or kettle ball, but it isn’t really that kind of hot.

      • Queen Butter Bean says:

Do you like the kettle ball (bell?)?

        What weight do you use?

I’ve been interested in them – I’ve heard they’re great, but I don’t have any experience with them.

In any event, it’ll be awhile before I’m able to use them.

        • quincyil says:

Actually, I use two weights. I use the one that is larger for lower work outs, but because I was injured in Jan and have a problem with my neck, I use the smaller one for over the head things. The small ones are around 5 lbs and I think the larger is 12 lbs. Before I fell, I was able to do heavier weights over my head and I hope to get back there over time.

Kettle bell is a very good way to keep in shape.

          • quincyil says:

    • Amber...Real Wife says:

I hope they do come back an ITA with Adrianna about the NY hags trying to look hot!

Sonja, Jill, LuMan, Kells and Cindy all dress ridiculously inappropriate. The only one with any fashion sense is Alex. While she does take risks and can miss the mark, she dresses her age and when casual, her look is very attainable, very chicos. 😉

Kelly tries to dress like a tween or a socially stifled RachelBerry. Tights, trapeze dresses and flats, bitch grow up! You are no Lolita with your orange leather skin. That train pulled out of the station long ago.

Jill dressing a la DesperatelySeekingSusan by channeling Bethenny and Madonna is desperately tragic. While she is trying to relive her youth, her daughter is forced to defend her even though she probably agrees with everything said. I can’t imagine GloriaCryptkeeper hasn’t told Jizz anything. She CAN’T be Happy! LOL

Sonja with her ridiculous duck pout wearing tight short dresses whose decolettage shows her wrinkled freckled cleavage…check please! Her favorite past time is having an English high tea where they serve spotted dick for the spotted chick!

Cindy is a trashy mess. Her rags to riches story is evident as she chooses to still wear rags. Big boots, leggings, plaid shirts, shag hairdo and no make up, she looks more like a production assistant or grip than a RHONY member.

Finally it grinds my gears when Dasboot is critiquing Alex’s style while she sits there sporting a cheap lace shirt, cheaper turquoise jewelry and most certainly her old dirty smelly boots! Puh-leeze Count-this my ass, because a Countess without jewels is like a wanna-be socialite with only one pair of boots…she only exists in NYC.

      • quincyil says:

Some of them dress when they are in ther homes. Hair and makeup for making a cup of coffee for a guest. I bet in their real lives they are a lot more casual and don’t wear makeup everyday.

    • jeepers1941 says:

    • error404 says:

Skaters routinely remark that they skate for their fans and for themselves and that they have no control over the judges. Johnny’s reaction to it was weird and frankly, kinda staged. The richest part of it was that Johnny had made an entire career out of whining that the Judges didn’t get him and unfairly marked him for just being who he is. He always hammered the point home that he skated his way, not to please the judges, and even made a big show of skating to “I did it my way”.

      • nathania says:

        not exactly.

it was never his skating that bothered the judges and caused him to be consistenly under-marked. It was everything else, otherwise known as homophobia…because the USFSA really labors under the illusion that the public doesn’t think that most male figure skaters are gay. Johnny wasn’t butch enough for them, and he paid for it.

I don’t understand what happened with this show and Bethenny and it bums me out the two didn’t get along…he lives in an extremely insular world and probably didn’t understand how popular Bethenny is and didn’t think it would get the play that it did. I still think it might have been staged because every one of these reality shows seems to have a Simon Cowell type on the panel by design. He might have been fed some b.s. from Jill Zarin too, there is really no telling what that woman dreams up and tries to orchestrate behind the scenes.

        • error404 says:

just because someone is paranoid doesn’t mean someone isn’t really after them. LOL

Yes, homophobia kept Johnny unpopular, but never kept him from winning many titles and medals etc…

It’s not true that his skating was perfect. He often left a lot of technical content out of his programs and his dismissive attitude toward COP while many of his competitors gamed the system is an example of how his “I did it my way” attitude kept him back.

          • nathania says:

I certainly don’t believe his skating was perfect because no one’s is, and I absolutely believe homophobia kept him consistently undermarked because those skating federations believe that the future of their sport (the men’s side) and all their jobs depend on keeping up the facade that many of the skaters are not gay, which they are. They could not deny him medals but they certainly did everything in their power to keep him lower than he could have been particularly in favor of The Butchess Lysacek. The only thing I think he left out was the quad though under Galina he was forced to try to include it though I am not sure it was the right thing for him because of stress fractures, etc. I have debated that on many skating boards though and it can go on endlessly, Johnny’s attitude did not garner sympathy for some of the judging outcomes he received, to say the least. I blame his menopausal entourage…Jill would fit right in with the harpies who climb over each other to get access to him…I mean they are literally foaming at the mouth crazy for this kid and lose their wits to a degree (talking Johnny’s Angel’s specifically but I have also seen this creepiness in a couple of the regular photographers, etc). I don’t think that crew helped him at all, I think they warped him a bit. I never heard of any other male skater having such an assortment of drooling harpies as Johnny Weir’s fans (and they are the type that travel in packs and would hate a lone wolf like Bethenny so there you go).

            • error404 says:

His tech content came and went.. not just the quad, but the 3/3s also were sometimes there, sometimes not, the 3/2/2 combos and the 3 combos per LP max were also often missing, the bonus for jumps after half way mark not always utilized, etc…

ITA that he was often kept down when they could, but he also often helped them by not maximizing his tech score. He openly scoffed at COP whoring, but right or wrong, COP whoring is why Plushy and Evan are OGMs and Johnny is not.

also, the homophobia thing is more of a federation support thing than an international judging thing. They had no problem putting his OTT Swan SP 2nd place at the Olys. USFS may have pushed Evan’s style more, but the international judges seemed to prefer Johnny. When Evan finish higher internationally, it was usually due to higher tech content, not style.

Homophobia aside, the USFS has a long history of pushing it’s own style agenda that is often in conflict with what the international judges favor.. Marai vs. Rachel at these past worlds for example.

          • DJ Loops Fruit says:

and he used to fall a lot

his trainers always looked like they wanted to kill him

        • TLM says:

I’d have to agree… judges were put off by Johnny because of his costumes and his skating in a way they branded effeminate, not his skating competencies. His USSR jackets at international competitions didn’t endear him to judges, either.

        • DJ Loops Fruit says:

funny as most of the judges are gay as well
they just arent as obvious as Miss Johnny is

    • DJ Loops Fruit says:

nothing they print ever has a hint of truth to it i dont know why people bother with it

Uh-oh, the two A-holes from Rosie Pope are on again. To quote the female a-hole: “A personal brand is everything that encompasses your face to the world… from the way you talk about yourself, your career…”

Oh, ok. So, not only did you show you and your husband’s “personal brand” to the world to look like two narcissistic fools who drank their own Kool-Aid, but you also showed your incompetence and indecisiveness to the point it’s scary in that you REQUIRED A FOCUS GROUP TO NAME YOUR OWN KID.

And then you again showed your narcissism in choosing a name no one in the focus group liked.

    Well done, branding idiots.

  21. IndianaHousewife says:

Hi all. Today I went back to the Bravo blogs and noticed Alexis and Gretchen have theirs up. I thought these comments in Alexis’s where pretty interesting:

“Moving into the limo ride now they make accusations that they don’t know what Jim does for a living, yet he changes homes and cars all the time.”Yes, it’s called leasing a car, and it’s called moving. Vicki can just ask her boyfriend, Brooks, what Jim does for a living because Brooks just had lunch with Jim and they discussed careers. How can Vicki not know what my husband does when her friend was going to rent one of our rental properties?”

Sorry if this has already been discussed, I have been pretty busy at work and home life lately so I haven’t been able to read here as much as normal.

  22. kotagirl29 says:

Gonna play Devil’s advocate for a minute. I think Bethenny is funny, I always have. Her “colorful” comments and cursing do not bother me. I am wondering about something I noticed Sunday/Monday. Many people have called Tamra trashy and classless, in part, because of her vulgar comments. I am wondering how some can call Tamra out for swearing like a sailor, but the very next day, post about how funny Bethenny is? Sunday Tamra said she though Slade was “plucking his a** hairs” and that got a lot of negative reaction, yet the week before Bethenny told Julie the toilet washes “your ass and your coocc,” but there was nothing said. How can one be offensive but not the other? I personally did not find either offensive because I am quite “colorful” myself, just curious about what others might think.

    • Dani says:

I have to say that I thought long and hard about your post. You do bring up some very interesting issues. I don’t know why I feel that Bethenny can say certain things and I am not offended, but when Tamra does it it is trashy. The only answer I have is that I have always liked Bethenny and never liked Tamra.

      • Dani says:

Oh, I just thought of this. One reason is that Bethenny has class and Tamra has none.

      • HD says:

        That was honest.

I like Tamara and Bethanny so I am not concerned with their cussing or sideways remarks.

      • kotagirl29 says:

Well that was part of what I was wondering, if the reason that people were offended was because they just didn’t like Tamra. I don’t get offended by language or phrases, for example, I don’t like JZ, but it doesn’t bother me when she swears or makes off-color comments. So I was curious as to what was offending others.

        • Queen Butter Bean says:

For me the difference is that Bethenny is speaking in general terms – everyone’s cooch.

Tamara is specifically targeting someone in a very specific and negative manner.

          • kotagirl29 says:

In that instance perhaps, but I do think that Bethenny has commented specifically using vulgarity in a negative manner about someone.

I want to clarify that I’m not trying to pick on anyone, I just really like to understand why people think and feel the way they do in certain situations.

            • nathania says:

I defended Tamra all last season because I felt she was being abused by Simon. Without Simon around to make her look good, she makes herself look bad. I am puzzled that someone would not be able to tell the difference in intent with these two women. Here is something to try:

Watch both in action and when they say something try to understand what motivated them to say what they said. Most of the time with Bethenny she’s cracking a joke and at worst does not intend to hurt someone. With Tamra just about every time, her humor is aimed at a particular person and she absolutely intends to hurt someone. I think both are equally vulgar, but Tamra is not funny when she is vulgar, whereas Bethenny’s vulgarity is both funny and witty.

Everything is subjective, of course, but I think that in the end it comes down to Bethenny feeling a sense of peace and accomplishment and Tamra being embittered that she is now a forty something year old single mother. Remember last season when she said that was what she feared most, that she would have to be in the apartment raising kids alone? Her solution is to try to put other people in as much pain as she is in (rather than trying to be grateful for what she has), which really isn’t even something you can use to compare her to Bethenny because their situations are so different.

              • kotagirl29 says:

I don’t find Tamra be bitter. There have been many people in my life that I don’t like and I have made many a joke at their expense. I am not saying that is right, but I’ve done it. I can be very hurtful if I feel justified. Again not saying it is right. I have a sense of humor that not everyone understands, and I can be quite vulgar. I have really enjoyed getting other points of view on this topic and appreciate everyone’s input and opinions.

                • DJ Loops Fruit says:

                  of course she is bitter
she had no reason other then jealousy to go after Gretchen from day one teh way she did
Gretchen was younger and hotter and Tramp couldnt take it

              • DJ Loops Fruit says:

when teh truth comes out about the simon/tramp relationship
i think you may find tha Tramp was actually the abuser

            • DJ Loops Fruit says:

you would have to actually give an example as most of the time Bethenny doesnt waste time bashing others
yes she has called the countess a dumb drag queen but thats not really offensive just acurate

    • error404 says:

It’s hard to comment out of context, as I don’t regularly watch Tamra or OC.

No idea what Slade “plucking his a** hairs” meant, but knowing Tamra as much as I do, it was probably a childish dig said for no other reason than to say something negative about Slade. Am I right?

B’s toilet cooch comment was said for no other reason than to be funny, and was never meant to be viewed as a dis of another character or person.

      • butterisafruit says:

Tamara talks about people, Bethany is talking about herself.
One is an attack the other is an observation.

        • kotagirl29 says:

Not always. When Tamra called herself a truck driver with tits people got offended and said it was trashy.

          • BlueSky_Forever says:

Tamra was being spot on with her description of herself

            • BlueSky_Forever says:

No offense to truck drivers anywhere lol. I used to listen to cb radios (ok yeah I AM that old darnit) & they never swore. No swearing was allowed. Imagine that happening today – no way.

          • DJ Loops Fruit says:

that is a insult to both truck drivers and tits everywhere LOL

      • DJ Loops Fruit says:

you got it right on the head

    • lovemamaearth says:

I think it was I Heart (something) defended Tamara two blogs ago and madesome good points too.

To me, Tamara seems bitter. B’s comments sometimes make me cringe like the comment about the citizens in Hazelton about the teeth thing… can’t recite it.

I’ve said before that Tamara is going through a divorce and that is crazy making. And before that, she was with a controller and that’s hard too. It will take awhile to get herself back to normal—if she ever had a normal. She’d benefit from B’s example of getting counseling and a soundingboard– other than Vicki’s bad advice.

      • kotagirl29 says:

I said the same things. I was in an abusive relationship and went waaaaaaaaaay out of control when it was done. But I am bored today and wanted to see what everyone else’s take was. I personally like Bethenny and Tamra. And the things they do don’t bother me. Just curious.

        • housewifeaddict says:

Good question and discussion. I don’t swear much at all, however it doesn’t bother me when someone uses colorful language.

I find Tamra trashy for the way she behaves in public (the over the top PDA that makes other people uncomfortable, drunkenness and lack of any sort of manners). I don’t see that behavior in Bethenny.

I also find LuAnn classless, but only relative to the podium she has chosen to place herself on.

I didn’t like Jill’s use of f***ing bit** for Alex, mainly because of the anger it represented. The same two words said jokingly wouldn’t bother me.

    • Sammysmom says:

Some may see the problem with Tamra vs Bethenny (If we are just discussing their salty language) is that while Tamra seems to see herself better than most and has even said that she has class but Simon just doesn’t think so, Bethenny has always been very up front that she is one of us. She adores her fans and doesn’t take them for granted or try to get anything over on us. Or it could be (for me anyway, it really is ) that Bethenny is and always has been my favorite and I cut her a whole lot more slack than I do any other HW.

    • DJ Loops Fruit says:

because when Tamra is doing it she is usually being mean spirited at the expense of someone else

When Bethenny does it she is usually doing it in a good spirited way at HERSELF

      that is a big difference

  23. Adgirl says:

BEA has been improving every week. I’m so glad Bethenny’s horrible breakdowns have stopped. That made me very uncomfortable.

TCM. I just can’t get stoked about this series. Curtis is boring. Being cute just isn’t enough for me. He’s waaaay too controlled. Where is his personality??
This is the 4th show I’ve seen him on and I still don’t know if the guy has a sense of humor about himself. Curtis was on Biggest Loser, Celebrity Apprentice, Next Big Restaurant and now TC Masters.

Come on Curtis, say something off the cuff!!! How about a little spontaneity?

(He is still a huge improvement over that tiny woman who didn’t even eat food.)

  24. HD says:

I didn’t watch BEA last night. I love Bethanny but her show does not interest me so much anymore. I am not sure why. And no this is not a Bethanny bashing post. I still love Bethanny and just bought 2 bottles of SGM for the Derby weekend and I was going on and on to the cashier when he said they couldn’t keep it in stock about how she sold the company and made tons of money. Trust me I still think she is wonderful. But I think I am done with BEA for a little. Perhaps next season will grab me.

At any rate what struck me with the radaroline article:
“Someone asked her what she was drinking and she stopped and responded a Skinny Girl Margarita, almost as if she took a moment to plug her drink she promoted”

Everyone knows that this was pretty much all B every sipped on even before she bottled the drink. They are making a big deal out of nothing.

    • housewifeaddict says:

Bethenny has been pretty open about only going on reality TV to promote her brand. She has been trying to say the words “skinnygirlmargarita” or drink as many as she can on camera to brand it. Obviously it worked out well for her LOL.

It’s funny that they brought it up. More branding for Bethenny.

Maybe she did scream at Weir – but was it before or after his comments – surely he did something to provoke it if she did. Otherwise it doesn’t make sense.

    • DJ Loops Fruit says:

Mostly because none of it is likely to be true

  25. Miss Katherine says:

    about tamra v bethenny….

well we’ve never seen BETHENNY having sex with jason in a hot tub.

    • Miss Katherine says:

while still legally married to the the father of 3 of her children, no less

      • lovemamaearth says:

I love B and don’t hate Tamra, but we did see B pee. –as much as we saw sex with Tam. I dislike behavior of all of them, some have more bad behavior than others though. Some seem like they don’t have redeeming qualities but we don’t see everything either. Vicki and Jill are the most dislikable imo. Some here say they want honesty & when they get it, they don’t like that either. As with Q, I think it’s an interesting study in human behavior.

OT but is Dr Phil’s housewife thing over?

        • val says:

We also saw Bethenny rolling around on her bed nude for her pregnant photo shoot. Didn’t we also see Jason showering the day Bethenny went into labor?

        • DJ Loops Fruit says:

peeing on a stick to see if your pregnant is a completey different thing then knowing your being filmed and setting up sex in a hot tub for a cam crew

    • kotagirl29 says:

My question wasn’t about their actions it was in reference to being offended by vulgar language.

Before anyone tries to kill me this is Devil’s advocate again. I like Bethenny and none of this bothered me. . .

And no we haven’t seen Bethenny having sex with Jason in a bathtub, but they do talk about sex. And what about Bethenny dancing back-to-front with Ethan or making the comment that “his balls feel great” or getting his reaction to her butt-undies? These could/would be considered classless and trashy if. . . say Tamra was doing it, but no one has said anything about Bethenny. As I have said it doesn’t bother me, but I am curious about the reactions of others.

      • JC says:

For me, Tamra is trashy and dumb. I have always seen her that way. Tamra enjoys being mean and crass. Bethenny can be clever and witty though sometimes she even takes it too far.

      • JKW says:

Kota..I think you are right, they both do use vulgar language. I guess my take is that so have I at times. Neither of them offend me. I just like Bethenny more as a person than I do Tamra. Another thing is that some of what Bethenny says is funny. I think Tamra tries to hard to be funny…and most of the time it’s not working.

      • WindyCityWondering says:

Tamra is mean – delights in other’s misfortunes and likes to say hurtful things. Bethenny doesn’t come from a place of mean and is actually funny. That is the different I see.

      • janet says:

I think it is the way Tamra is, her overall mean streak. She is so jealous of Grechen and she wants to burn Simons ass. She even says she is the hotest housewife. Eddie is spanish so he likes a little dirty talk, but he is observing her behavior, also. I don’t see her getting married and having another child, with anyone. I think Simon kept her in control as long as he could. She is not that far away from the big M. How old is she? If Vicky gets a divorce and those two hang out, either Vicky will go back to drinking like a fish or she will have to try to control Tamara. I see a train wreck coming either way.

        • lovemamaearth says:

I don’t see that Gretchen has anything tobe jealous over. Slade? No. A pretend business that she stole from another woman? No. Law suits? No. And she’s kind of manish looking. Sorry to say but she is.

          • PJ says:

In all fairness anyone can file a law suit. There is no proof that she stole anyone’s business from them. Just because someone claims something does not make it true.

      • nathania says:

the feeling I get it Bethenny relates to other people’s human-ness. She has genuine empathy and a ‘we’re all in it together’ approach about life. Tamra like most of the housewives wants to be queen of the day, and she’s most seeking validation on her physicality and that she is still ‘the prettiest girl in school’ or some other such nonsense that she should have abandoned 15 years ago. Tamra is power-over, Bethenny is power-to.

      • DJ Loops Fruit says:

ok here is teh bottom line for me anyway
        Bethenny is a likeable person
        Tamra ISNT
she is a backstabbing two faced critter
        an that makes teh difference

If tamra was on fire id only go get marshmellows to toat off her burning flesh
and quite possibly throw Icky onto the flames for good measure

  26. HD says:

You are right about being legally married.

I have seen Bethanny naked in the pool on her honeymoon, I saw Jason’s penis blurred as they were getting ready to go have Bryn. Of course none of these instances were they having sex. Was Tamara having sex or kissing?

    • Dani says:

I would say the way she was kissing him it turned into SEX!! I am pretty sure that was the end result lol.

      • Mookies1mom says:

Well, Bravo did have to blur out Tamara’s nipple from that scene and apparently thought it would be a good idea to use that scene in her intro.

    • DJ Loops Fruit says:

most people dont get naked together in a tub to just kiss LOL in front of a cam crew

  27. AZ Girl says:

I just finished reading Nick Food Crawl blog. Its great. Bethenny is very perceptive in seeing Nicks potential. I am sure if Nick were to ever encounter Jill, she would treat him like dirt.

    • Maryla says:

AZ Girl — so right about how Jill would treat Nick. Imagine him with any of those women (maybe except Alex). Ramona would be telling him how he should “look” if he wanted to be a professional–like her. Kelly would be giving him the “I’m up here, you’re down there” spiel. Dahling, rather, LuAnn would turn her nose up. Sonja would simply ignore him altogether.

      • AZ Girl says:

        Bethenny embraces who he is

      • DJ Loops Fruit says:

that was spot on about Alex i think she would enjoy his company and how cute would Nick be with her kids
I wish Bravo would give him a show

i wish they would turn the tide here and get rid of some of the meaner shows and get some nicer ones

that being said i still want Miami back LOL

  28. jeang says:

Normally when Bethany says those things it is for a bit of a joke or light moment. Tamra does hers with the mean and vicious streak directed towards a particular person she is trying to indicate is less classy than herself. Now that IS a joke!!

    • kotagirl29 says:

I always thought that Tamra was trying to be funny or make a joke, she just maybe isn’t as good at it as Bethenny.

      • DJ Loops Fruit says:

        only at others expense
its why it is almost never funny and why so many hate her

  29. Nancy says:

2011 World Figure Skating Championships are in the can. A lot of upsets too.
Queen Nu-Ya came in second and had an emotional meltdown on the medal stand.
Ando (from Japan) got the gold and there were a lot of tears shed because of the obvious. She really was skating for her country. Even though I skated for Canada I was thrilled that Davis/White beat the Olympians Virtue/Scott in Ice Dancing as it was the first Gold ever for the US. Chan won the gold for Canada so I was happy about that. I hope that Czisny won’t turn pro because she has the goods to hand in there. Time will tell. It was great to see my old coach Frank again but to tell you the truth he STILL scares me. I had a “mob hit” on Johnny Weir but he was a no show. (ha ha)

I missed this board very much as I feel likes it’s my family. It’s good to be back home.

    • error404 says:

Yeah! I’ve been dying to know how it went in Mother Russia. I’ve always wanted to go, and almost did once, but then didn’t. I heard so many scary stories from other Euros who went.

I didn’t even realize Frank was there. I guess for Denis? I see he’s kinda miffed about the whole Rachel Flatt thing, can’t say I blame him.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Glad you are back! I thought of you when Bethenny skated and wondered what you thought of her efforts.

    • Adgirl says:

Nancy you went to Russia? How cool! I’ve always been a little afraid. Especially since my husband told me about his trip there with his first wife. She was Russian. They had dinner at a nice restaurant in Moscow. He tried to pay witha credit card. The place didn’t accept credit cards so the owner accompanied my husband to the hotel for cash – at GUN point! She was forced to stay at the restaurant. Eeek.

Everytime I watch The Amzing Race there is a segment in Russia and I would love to go to St Petersburg.

    • quincyil says:

Figure skating is my favorite part of the Olympics. I love singles and pairs.

    • VAgirl says:

Welcom Back Nancy. I have missed you and hope you had a great trip to the Motherland. I hardly know any of the names you mentioned as I do not keep up with figure skating as much as I used to, but I’m glad the lady from Japan won after what her country has been through.

    • Lavalady says:

      Welcome home Nancy!

  30. Dani says:

I like your post’s Nancy, and I am glad you are back.

  31. jeang says:

Isnt today the day Jillous was supposed to be going to Oprah show? Quincy or someone that knows how to check out twitter….? She was in contact with 3 Oprah staffers probably trying to squeeze her face into Oprahs show.

  32. jeang says:

That just shows where her priorities are. At my age of 61, my dog is my child and if he is really sick, I am going to be with him…..

    • error404 says:

again, who tweets their vet that their dog is really sick? Normal people in the real world make a private phone call. Posers and fame whores think they will get a free house call if they tweet their vets name. The only sick bitch in that house is Jill!

      • MK Valle says:

Poor Ginger is abused. Shouldn’t be eating lamb chops everyday. Poor thing is so fat she can barely walk. JZ didn’t listen to the trainer who told her not to feed Ginger that stuff and that she needed to lose weight. JZ should be reported to SPCA for animal abuse, okay that may be a little much but you get my point. JZ is an irresponsible human to little Ginger.

  33. lillybee says:

I can’t believe that Jill is ignoring Ginger in her time of need.

  34. Megs says:

I didn’t have a chance to see the show yet. But I have to share that I am getting really really tired of Jason’s “my brother who died routine.” I am truly sorry his family had to go through that but I find it so sad that the Hoppys have not been able to find any happiness in life since then. My lord it’s been over 10 years. I’m thinking perhaps Jason needs to see the therapist. He’s taking all the responsibility for making that family happy and then dumping it on Bethenny too. Oh yes, and let’s be sure to name our new daughter after the dead brother also. Any new marriage and baby girl brings great new joy into life, the holidays, and a family. It’s a natural process, doesn’t have to be about “since my brother…” I’m hoping that Bethenny and Jason get over their losses – it’s time. I don’t think I can last through another season of that.

    • Sus says:

I have a similar situation with my husband’s family. His 14 year old sister was hit by a car and died when my husband was 12. The family never will never get over the loss of a child. There is nothing natural about losing a child. It’s extremely difficult for the remaining sibling. They feel lots of guilt from different ways.

I bitch about Bethenny not moving on about stuff but the Hoppy’s loss is something that I know you never get over it and it affects everything in your life.

      • quincyil says:

You accept the loss, but you never forget. I think they laugh and are happy, but wish their other son was with them at the same time.

        • Sus says:

Exactly Quincy!! As happy as the Hoppy’s are about Bryn, they are missing their son because he can’t be an Uncle to Bryn. It constantly hurts as life events happen and there is a person always missing.

    • jeepers1941 says:

One never ever gets over the loss of a child, I know as my oldest brother and SIL lost a child over 16 yrs ago, she was 26 when she died and they had 9 chldren encluding her. Her brothers and sisters still feel the pain as well. They have all continued with the living, but there will always be the sense of loss. The death of a parent is somehow very different. We expect our parents to pass on before us. But a parents never want to bury a child. The holidays are the hardest, the birthdays that come still each year, the Mother’s days and Father’s days are sad even more so.
You can not tell someone, it is time for you to get over the death of their child, ever. It is up to them, not you and not me can make that decision, nor should we ever try.

      • error404 says:

that’s kinda a blanket statement IMO. No one ever really gets over anything, but they do move on. It’s one thing to never forget or always be aware of the loss, it’s entirely another to have it dictate where you live, which holidays you celebrate, how you make major decisions about career etc…

I know having crappy parents and losing a brother are two totally separate things, but there is this overwhelming feeling on the web that B just needs to flip a switch and get over her childhood already before she really pisses people off, while Jason is perfectly “normal” to live his entire life around the idea of trying to make up for his brother’s accidental death.

I’ve been saying all season that Jason needs therapy too. No one’s saying that he should act like Bryan never existed, but making his new family share his people-pleasing dysfunctions isn’t fair either. One can move on without disrespecting the past. They seem to be moving to LA, so at least the Hoppys seem to get that one can move on without forgetting.

        • Lavalady says:

I wonder if Bethenny’s childhood and Jason’s brother’s death are just on their minds more because of all Bethenny and Jason have been through in the last year. Meeting, getting pregnant, getting engaged, losing a parent, getting married, having a baby. These life changing events all happened to them in the space of a year or so. Pretty extraordinary IMO. I think Bryn’s birth makes Bethenny think about her own childhood and her own parents. I’m sure Jason thinks about what kind of father his brother would have been and how it would be to raise their children together.

          • Mookies1mom says:

I lost both of my parents before I was thirty. Not the same thing as losing a child, I can’t even imagine what that would be like. But I remember my grandmother’s reaction. She was destroyed. But you do remember during big events that someone you love is not there. Sometimes during holidays, especially Christmas, I still feel that loss tremendously.

Jason seems to have some type of survivors guilt. Maybe he could use therapy but it won’t take that sense of loss away. All the what if’s. He and Bethenny went through a huge amount of change in a very short time. All of them were big life changes and I think it would be normal for all of them to think about the people that they love not being there for those changes.

            • jeepers1941 says:

I can’t even imagine the life time challanges those two have gone through and still going through and will for some time to come. My Lord, what a rollercoaster ride they have both been on since they became a couple. I do hope they continue the communications they have built for themselves. And yes, I agree with you about Jason, it might help him to get some therapy as well. I am sure he could benifit from it. As we all can from time to time.

        • jeepers1941 says:

What I am saying is, it’s up to each individual as to how they handle the death of a child, not someone else telling them it is time to move on, thats all. Of course they continue in day to day matters as we all do.

  35. NMhousewife says:

Off topic but thought I would share. Ever since Bethenny’s wedding, I have wondered how B and Hoda Kotbe became friends. I thought it was kind of random at the time. Anyway, I have been reading Hoda Kotbe’s book that came out last year and have gotten to the chapter where she is discussing how the Today Show’s 4th hour works, etcetera, and she mentions that they did a week of having RHWNY ladies on as a guest host, one per day, and she mentions that Bethenny really fit right in with the whole interview/chat scene and how “everything out of her mouth is hilarious.”
Probably some of you more worldly-wise housewive commenters may have known this but I thought it was a nice surprise.

    • VAgirl says:

Thanks for that info. I never knew that’s how they met and became friends.

    • California35 says:

Thanks for that information…I didn’t know about it, only what I have read here.

As I was reading, I was picturing Hoda and Bethenny on that Hoda and Cathy Lee…hhmm but that is in NY so no need to go to LA, but it just made me think that Bethenny has been on many talk shows either as a guest or with a small segment. Those are things added to her resume to eventually have her own, maybe 🙂

    • lovemamaearth says:

I wish I’d seen them hosting. I bet B fit right in and that’s what helped her get the talk show gig. It’ll be fun.

  36. Toga says:

Off topic – does anyone remember when the video of Countless’s daughter Victoria showed up on Youtube? Wasn’t it during filming of this season? I’d like to have my eyes open for any sign of anger, since I’m thinking Jill posted it somewhere and Countless went apesh*t on her. I realize they won’t show her going apesh*t, but LuMann will have to show some rage…

    • boston02127 says:

@Toga–I remember the YouTube Vid. It was not long ago. But I think it was Ramona that retweeted it.

      • Eve says:

I saw the video of Victoria speaking to a friend while pushing up her nose every so often like a pig nose. She was rolling a joint and used the n word. It was not very flattering and led me to believe that she probably is quite rebellious.

        • Lavalady says:

Toga – Boston is right, it was Ramona who retweeted Victoria’s video. It will be interesting to see if/when/how it is handled on the show.

          • boston02127 says:

I’m quite sure I read that Luann had the camera’s shut down while she handled the situation with her daughter. Does anyone else remember reading about that?

            • California35 says:

I thought that they were “done” shooting by then, but since the season didn’t start on the set time, we (or I) thought that they would add it to the show. I am not completely sure though, so if someone remembers better, please tell us 🙂

              • Happymouth says:

From what I remenber, Jill and Luann were filming together , perhaps in Atlanta? Romana tweeted the incident , Luann shut down filming.

    • VAgirl says:

I don’t think it’s going to be a big thing on the show. The Countess would not want to air her dirty laundry if she had any control over it at all. If I remember correctly, Ramona re-tweeted it while Jill and Luann were in Atlantic City (?) filming for the show.

    • lillybee says:

      Who sent it to Ramona?

  37. boston02127 says:

    Lynn–Thx 4 the gr8 blog. I missed the show last night. 😦

  38. boston02127 says:

OMIB–I’m not sure if you’re on twitter but is a fun site to follow. I can’t stand the “beantown” thing but….

  39. AZ Girl says:

Looks like from Jill’s twitter pic that she may be staying at River North.

  40. boston02127 says:

I just sent a tweet to Luann and sent her Jill’s site and asked her why her good friend would put that video up of her.

  41. Smompy says:

Add me to the list of people who were saddened to learn that there’s only one more episode of BEA left. I didn’t expect it to go on forever but damn, that season flew by! And after next week I’ll have to wait a whole ‘nother year for a fresh epsiode? Maybe I could be cryogenically frozen until the next season starts up.

kotagirl, I loved your devil’s advocate question, as I’ve been thinking about that myself lately. Like a lot of others have posited, I think part of the reason Tamra’s crudeness tends to be judged more harshly than Bethenny’s is because Tamra’s intent often seems to be malicious whereas Bethenny just has a lowbrow sense of humor. Plus, she is often self-deprecating, as opposed to Tamra who clearly thinks her shit don’t stink…so to speak:) At the same time, though, I’m sure a lot of it also has to do with the fact that most people here basically like Bethenny better than they like Tamra. I’ve definitely been guilty of that kind of inconsistancy, not so much in judging each one’s vulgarity or profanity (frankly, vulgarity and profanity are my middle names) but more so in judging their individual actions. I’m probably not nearly as impartial as I should be.

Then again, I think being biased about this isn’t such a bad thing. It all sort of balances out in the end. I mean, in this small corner of the net Tamra may get criticized quite a bit for being crude or profane, but the rest of the interwebs go pretty easy on Tamra Sue and her ill-bred, half-raised shennanigans. However, when it comes to judging Bethennny’s behavior, the haters seem to almost completely rule the web. This blog is one of the very few places, if not the only place, where most people tend to view Bethenny in a positive light and where her haters are in short supply.

It never ceases to amaze me how many people will eagerly find fault with every single thing Bethenny says or does. Last week, after BEA had aired but before the new recap was posted here, I poked around the net a bit, curious to see how that espisode of BEA (which IMO was so completey upbeat and inoffensive) was being viewed by others. After all, I thought to myself, what in the world could anyone possibly criticize Bethenny for after watching such a fun, lighthearted show, right? Wrong. Apparently she was a total bitch to leave her poor, abused husband in NYC while she flew off to Malibu…WTH ANOTHER MAN! And she was also a bitch for dancing around and (allegedly) trashing that beautiful beach house, which, by the way, didn’t even belong to her! And she was also being a bad, neglectful mother by handing over her only child (who Bethenny obviously doesn’t even love) to “a total stranger.” Oh, and when Cookie was eating off those plates? In that scene Bethenny was evidently being an absolute monster who deserves to have her pet taken away from her immediately…because (it was claimed) some of those plates had onions on them, and everyone knows that ONIONS ARE POISONOUS TO DOGS!!! And the list of Bethenny’s trespasses went on and on in that same vein. So anyway, since Bethenny is already facing such overwhelmingly negative bias, I figure my own little positive bias is only fair:)

Oh, and I loved B’s dinner date with Nick. LOVED! The way he kept responding to her every compliment by stopping dead and saying “Thank you, it’s very kind of you to say” was just adorable. The guy may not be a good match for a lot of females, but I really hope he gets a new girlfriend out of this gig.

Vicki from OC will be at the Louisville KY Summit Barnes and Noble on Thursday, May 4, at 7:30 pm for a book signing in case anyone lives nearby and wants to see her. She’s there for the Kentucky Derby.

  43. boston02127 says:

I wonder when this pic was taken of Tamera & her ex and Eddie?

  44. boston02127 says:

I’m watching the OC repeat. When Tamera was making fun of working at McDonald’s & Burger Kind, that was rude. I think if you’re working & trying…good for you.

She should watch her mouth, she went from a million dollar home to paying rent. Her next step in life could be flipping burgers too.

    (I can can only hope)

Lol, Gretchen trying to say the word “elegantly”.

  46. prof addicted to reality tv says:

I have a comment on Mob Wives (just watching the 3rd episode). It *is* highly painful and traumatic for kids not have a parent around. One of the ladies was crying about her daughters pain, and I just wanted to rush *into* the tv and hug that poor kid! My question is: so so so many adults have to leave for long periods of time for actual genuine work! Military persons, police people, doctors volunteering for international aid agencies etc……….what do their kids feel like? I am NOT denigrating a childs’ hurt about missing her father. No matter why the father is missing. I am just wondering whether “hero” missing dads have a different impact than “anti-hero” missing dads?

My dad worked in a high profile FBI job and was not there a lot. I do remember (I think one of the ladies mentioned something like this) feeling a little weird when he disciplined me because I was like, dude you arent here!! Mom is! She can tell me anything……But but but, we all knew what he was doing! He was earning an honest living and serving his country. So does that matter? Knowing the *reason* why your dad is not there?

    • quincyil says:

It probably depends on the child. I would think age and the ability to reason would be important. The wives of military men usually have a strong support network with friends and family. Their husbands are gone and they worry, but being in the military is respected in most American communities. The teachers and coaches of the children would encourage them too.

Carla told her children that her husband was at work because she didn’t want them to worry about him being in prison. She has experience with this and felt that this was better for her children.

It seems that there is a pathology in the Staten Island Community. They don’t seem to understand right from wrong. The mothers don’t condemn their husbands for robbing banks or committing crimes for money, but they are unhappy that the feds come at 5 AM with gund drawn to their homes.

I bet your dad was one of the mean men who woke up criminals and hauled them off to jail.

      • prof addicted to reality tv says:

Quincy, I think you are right. Its about the partner (usually mom) who is left behind to give perspective, security and morality to the kids. Drita and Rene were talking about how the cops/people dont know what happens to families and kids…..well, the undercover cop who helped bust your husband was away from his kids too!!!! I think some of their victim mentality is filtering down to the kids.

And yes, my dad worked for the FBI-equivalent of the country I am from and he is the *only* person in the world to have investigated 5 hijackings. He is an expert in international organized crime AND he actually has been to Libya and met Gaddaffi while investigating the Lockerbie bombing ! I had forgotten all that time recent events….and now its just so freakin cool. I hope I can do half the things he has done 🙂 hard, given I am a prof 😛

        • quincyil says:

Interesting. I watched a movie called, “The Jackal.” It was about a criminal and the French police were looking for him in Libya.

If you haven’t seen this movie, I think you should look for it. I think the men who search for terrorists are very brave.

          • prof addicted to reality tv says:

That movie was based on a novel based on a true thingie……a little before my dads time. But they learnt a lot from that. And I *know* that my fascination for espionage thrillers comes from that novel and my dads work. Note that he never told us what he worked on. But we worked on his PA, his driver etc until they *hinted*………
*sigh* I should have followed in his foot steps. Academia is too cut throat for me.

        • Nancy says:

My dad was never home. He was a NHL ref and traveled all over Canada. I was ok with that because he let ME shine his skates when he returned. At the time I thought it was such an honor but now looking back…too funny!

          • prof addicted to reality tv says:

I sense ambivalnece. Why, if I may ask?

            • Nancy says:

As an adult would you think shining someones smelly skates as an honor?
Just kidding. My dad walked on water to me. We would skate for hours together.
After the pro hockey games (where my father worked) I was allowed to skate for free which is a BIG deal in the world of figure skating. Without his support I would never have been able to skate for a living. He died 12 yrs ago. I really missed him while I was watching worlds.

off topic but I just found this little snippet on Taylor and hadn’t seen it posted here (though it probably was)
they are saying Taylor is the ‘trainwreck’ of season 2. Karma is a you know what

    • housewifeaddict says:

Interesting. Some comments and other blogs speculate a cocaine addiction might be responsible for the weight lost. Could also explain the erratic behavior. Pot perhaps calling the kettle black? I never did understand why Lisa and Taylor behaved the way they did about Kim’s “alleged” problem with alcohol at the reunion. Kim was never shown to be out of control (no turtle time or partying with the hooters girls; no sticking her tongue down random women’s throats or getting naked wasted).

  48. jeang says:

  49. boston02127 says:

Tamera just made fun of Peggy’s party. She said, “we’ve got the clowns, we’ve got card tricks and we’ve got the singer” She’s just mean and nasty. What would make Tamera happy at a party? Male strippers and two dogs mating on the table?

  50. jeang says:

And that is why I see no redeeming quality at all in Trampa!!!

  51. TLM says:

    Is anyone on OC redeemable???

I almost felt sorry for Tamra until she busted out laughing that Alexis’ house was in foreclosure. Even if you hate someone, that’s just mean. Especially since you went through the same thing.

And while I’m on Tamra and her pathetic, cowardly talking head interviews, she said Gretchen and Alexis should “bump fuzzies”? Really classy, and fascinating coming from someone who was exposed as having a tryst with a lesbian. But was that really a shock when Tamra said she “liked to grab boobs” when she was drunk in her first season on OC??

Tamra calling Alexis “retarded”? Gee, I guess it’s lucky none of your four kids were born with mental retardation, otherwise you might realize how very lucky you are, and what a vicious remark that was.

Alexis admitted Jim just didn’t want to come to Peggy’s party. So, when she was having a breakdown and crying in front of everyone, is she admitting her whole “I miss Jim” thing was an ACT? Then she says people “laughed at me while I was crying.” Then she’s giggling and dancing with Gretchen? Is she lying, or psychotic?? Or has she lied to herself for so long she believes her own crap?

I used to think Donn was a good guy. But for him to ask Gretchen where Slade was and then just giggle and not answer her when she responded to your question, is just rude. If you think she’s lying, don’t you have the balls to say to her, “Come on, Gretchen, he’s not really with his kids, is he?” But you just sit there and laugh? That’s not even high school, that’s grade school.

And Gretchen with her “tubbawubba” and other nasty remarks? I don’t believe her bulemia story. It’s now out of the bag that she’s been lying about Slade to make it sound like he had a job when he didn’t.

Vicki has done everything to push Donn away possible. What was the point of the vow renewal, anyway? Was it just for ratings?

    • butterisafruit says:

I agree with you TLM. I had a uneasy feeling with Don. To ask then laugh was really mocking Gretchen. No matter what we think of her it was very bad manners. I’m not fond of either of these women. And I see a trend in Gretchen. When we first met her she was caring for a much older very sick man. There was no future with him except from his wallet. Now she’s back in the same life, she’s supporting another man with no future. He’s morally bankrupt and we all know there is no future with him either.
Slade is not going to stand by her, he couldn’t even be with her that night.

If there is a character that needs therapy it’s her.

      • DJ Loops Fruit says:

She never really got anthing but love from Jeff there was no big cash payoff when he died and she still stays in contact with his kids (whe she has nothing to gain from that)
She has known Slade longer then anyone realizes and has seen him at his best and his worst and is still living with him obviously she see’s something there that most dont
but doubt she will marry him till he is once again working an can offer some security

Yep TLM, below is what I posted on Bravos board I dont know if it made it through I tried to keep it short in hopes that maybe they would, I see they put alot of short ones through that are alittle negative.. Now with me they just might decide to change it, they been tampering with my posts..

Here;s what I posted we’ll see if it goes through…

“Tamra, after watching you for the last 3 years your the most unlikable human I’ve ever watched. While I agree that your ex-husband is an a**hole I understand when he always said keep it classy he had to remind you all the time. The truth is it went through one ear and out the other.”

** just a note, I’ve not like Tamra since her very first apperance on the show. The one thing that bugged me about her was her introduction about herself saying she was the hottest housewife, she makes me sick. I think we are seeing the reason Simon always told her to keep it classy.

I wonder what Simon thinks seeing all the kissing thats on camera, I couldnt do anything like that. I’ve been married for 26 years and god forbid anything happens to him, I would never be with another man I think I could be ok not having one in my life. My husband is a lot like Jason and no one could fill his shoes. But if I did go out I wouldnt be doing that, she has kids that will see this show and other kids that will know and could make fun, Tamra doesnt think about that I not sure of her oldest daughters age but she really should think about her kids. I couldnt believe all the necking that was going on. Some people are uncomfortable around that kind of stuff I would be.

BEA is on. I missed it last night. LOL with Bethenny and the fake bum. HA

    • housewifeaddict says:

The best part of the show was when Jason arrived in CA and walked into the room to greet everyone. After kissing Bethenny and Julie, and talking to Ethan, you can see how his eyes light up and focus right on Bryn coming in with Dawa. The love in his voice for his little girl was touching. I know – hate me for liking this family – but I do.

PS – I think Ethan is a perfect foil for Bethenny’s humor – and could probably carry a spin off show of his own.

      • butterisafruit says:

I wish someone in my family would have a little baby girl. I loved all those cute little outfits she put on Bryn. Especially the red jacket with the hood. She looked like Little Red Riding Hood.

        Those clothes are adorable.

      • Mookies1mom says:

I thought that was a really sweet moment too! They both just light up when they are with her. Bryn is a lucky girl to have all these people that love her so much. She always looks so happy and cute but the Christmas outfit and the little red track suit were just too cute!

      • DJ Loops Fruit says:

dont forget how they lit up when he thought all that padding really was Bethennys ass LOL
        now that was funny

Yes! Definitely Momma. Didn’t calling your wife momma go out with the 60s?

I have question if anyone knows, please let me know. I’ve been curious about Jason’s brother how did he die and when? I believe it was a car crash maybe.

There were only 2 of us in my family I had one brother and I lost him about 7 years ago he was 44 he had a heart attack. When I lost my brother it was the hardest lost and I’ve I’m still not over it I don’t think I’ll ever ever get over it, it came out of no where I was in total shock . I watched a documentary today on young Uganda refuges preparing for a national music and dance festival. One of the little girls said “I’m so excited to see what peace looks like.” I cried. My life isn’t so bad.

Can I complain a smidge anyway?? My mom is coming over dinner tomorrow. Not a surprise since we invited her. We live in my childhood home so it’s important to me that it looks good for her.
Soooo why it that the husband (Mr IQ 175 – common sense 0) is helpless to do anything like vacuum, but runs over to assist me with rearranging things in the fridge – as if THAT is a two person job? Mostly the fridge was a mess because he likes to have everything scattered on the shelves, not in bins. I also just consolidated all of the various cans of soup he purchased and stowed away in random places. Our guest bath still needs a wipe down as does the livingroom. He gets very put out when I ask….. arrrgh.

“Why does Johnny Weir have no creddibility now?? Does anyone remember that it was Bethenny who started the snarky comments on SWTS? She blatantly said she did not care what the judges said. You all have selective “Bethenny ass kissing ”memories.

You are wrong. Bethenny insulted all the judges when she stated that she did not care what they thought. Johnny responded to that by saying he did not care to watch her any longer. Bethenny can dish out piles to everyone but she cannot stand when someone stands up to her snarky bs. She was in a competition, with judges to be judged and if she did not care to be judged she should have kept her bony ass in NYC drinking her disgusting Skinny Girl Margaritas.

      You are all crazy

You cannot seem to handle someone disagreeing with you, can you? Bethenny sucked on SWTS and she was rude to everyone. Guess you were watching something produced in Bethenny land?

Oh, please…poor Bethenny..everyone was against her…boo hoo! Blatant is her middle name and please note , I have no obvious agenda.

A nanarexic…hilarious coming from Bethenny, who appears skeletal..the nanny looks healthy and it was a nasty comment made at the expense of someone else. Bethenny has no manners and a big mouth that just never quits.

The Troll Patrol? Wow, its true what I heard that if anyone expresses anything negative about Queen Bethenny you get your panties in a twist. Hilarious!”

According to here, Lynn’s site- someone had said that Ramona re-tweeted when this occurred and then had to film something in a car with LuMann (and maybe someone else too) and that Lu was all fake smiles and faux when in reality she was seething because of Ramona’s re-tweeting (which i think was a mistake on Ramona’s part, i don’t think IMO that she did that on purpose). I forgot where it was mentioned up here but i want to know how / when it figures in filming, episodes we see. Good detective work required for that.
Anyone can answer me about Irene or not? I guess i’ll just read back a few more blogs i must have missed some stuff. hate when i miss the juicy stuff around here.

I bet Jillous befriended some of the Oprah staff, hoping to be introduced on air during her show. She may also be trying to get OWN to do a show about her life, you know, like she thinks she is as famous as the Judds, Shania Twain, Fergie the exprincess, etc.

Vicki & Donn. Or rather Vicki (strike)& Donn( /strike ).

I’ve been wonder for a while if Donn is major drinker (I know! compared to the RH lushes how can he be worse?). Maybe he is a mean drunk. Also, men who drink alot have less … libido. Or perhaps he cheated on her and she chose not to share it with the world.
I’m not excusing Vicki. She is controlling. She is judgemental. She is tense. I was just wondering why Vicki was “working” until midnight every damn day. Most women her age choose not to get divorced because the likelihood of remarriage is pretty slim.

Did you know Gretchen was served lawsuit papers @ Peggy’s dinner party?

Gretchen Rossi had been avoiding service from Jay Photoglou’s attorneys for a while, so it was done publicly, in front of Bravo cameras. A source told absurd2sublime exclusively that this scene didn’t make the final cut because all references to Gretchen and her relationship with Jay, her lover while she was the fiancé of Jeff Beitzel , have been edited out. There are other lawsuits pending between the two, and Jay was recently rewarded $40,000 in the latest judgment.

    from radaronline:

The suit was filed by her ex boyfriend Jay Photoglou ,a source familiar with the situation said Rossi’s attorney’s refused to except service, Jay’s attorneys had her served publicly.

It happened at the home of Peggy Tanous, the new Orange County cast member. Stars from Bravo’s reality series got together at Tanous’ home for a dinner, that was taped by the network.

“Gretchen pulled up in her car and as soon as she got out she was served with the legal papers,” a source told RadarOnline.com. “She turned away and acted as if she was going to try to avoid being served. But there were two people there to serve her and she had no choice. She finally just accepted service.”

    Another “Dinner From Hell”

During the episode, as Gretchen is probed on the whereabouts of current beau Slade Smiley, she says he’s “with his kids”. Arch-nemesis Tamra Barney remarks “ he’s home either waxing is his eyebrows or plucking his ass hair “ Count on Tamra’s brutal honesty.

Seems like Gretchen and Slade better get jobs. Too bad all their money has to go to towards things that they have screwed up. Karma.

I know this is a weird request but if anyone has a way to get an email to Bethenny, I’d really like to write her without putting my thoughts public on her FB page.

Her show has actually really helped me in a very specific way and I would like to share it with her. I have a history very similar (lots of family tragedy, grew up motherless, abuse, neglect, early parental death, homicide, mental illness to name a few). And have had many of the same struggles she’s had (very successful in business/the opposite in love).

I’ve been very moved by her therapy sessions on the show and was inspired to get my own (not skinnygirl) ass in to therapy, had my first session last night and interestingly the therapist I found has a very similar style as Bethenny’s. I feel very optimistic and I just want to tell her this part of her show has had a profound impact on a viewer. I dunno if she reads here so maybe she will see this.

I just wanted to write it out loud. 🙂

You might try calling her PR people that she has listed on her website under contacts. They might give you a way to contact her privately. I am sure that they get many requests so there is probably some way to do it.

      I found this under contacts

I think that’s the best you can do for right now.
BTW I think you have amazing courage, it’s hard to face this kind of suffering head on.
