I Hate Jill Zarin Bethenny Ever After Finale

I Hate Jill Zarin     Bethenny Ever After  The Season Finale

I’m really bummed that Bethenny Ever After is finished for the season.  This is the one show that never fails to put a smile on my face and make me laugh.  Sure I giggle at those crazy housewives when they act like complete fools but Bethenny’s show is very different from anything else on television, and it’s really a great show!

Bethenny’s speaking tour started with a sold out house in Red Bank, New Jersey with her name on the theatre marquee, Bethenny tells us that it is fulfilling talking to women, inspiring women and the first thing she does as she walks out on stage as the flash bulbs are popping is take a photo of the crowd.  Every stage is the same, a tall bar stool with a tall but small round cocktail table, red roses and a Skinnygirl Margarita.  Her notes on red cards sit on the table ready for our girl to talk to the crowd.

Bethenny’s show is inspiring, it’s informative but most of all it’s fun.  She is exactly the same as you see her on television, particularly what we’ve watched on Bethenny Getting Married and Bethenny Ever After.   Her life was definitely not “normal” by any stretch of the imagination but she’s really down to earth and when the audience asks questions, Bethenny doesn’t spit out pre-arranged responses, she is not robot-like at all, it’s from her heart and she cares about these people who buy her books and drink her cocktails.

I thought it was great to see Jason’s parents join the tour and watch Bethenny’s show in Pennsylvania.  They were a great audience but afterward backstage Jason’s parents were so sweet and told Bethenny what she has probably longed to hear from her own parents her whole life, they told her that they were so proud of her.  Bethenny has worked so hard and really deserves to have everything in life and since her own parents never supported her, she’s got the next best thing.   Jason’s parents are loving and caring and exactly what Bethenny needed in her life.

Bethenny has also brought so much happiness to the Hoppy’s, a couple who have had the devastating loss of a child are brought back to life by this amazing women who gave them a beautiful granddaughter.  Watching Carol Hoppy play with Bryn in the restaurant was so adorable, Bryn laughed and brightened up the whole room.   Sometimes the perfect storm does happen.  Jason and Bethenny meeting and falling in love has also enriched the lives of Jason’s parents.

Julie and Jackie, Bethenny’s two assistants got a bit of face time tonight, Julie admitted that it isn’t always sunshine and flowers working for Bethenny Frankel in fact apparently Bethenny’s first trimester of her pregnancy was extremely difficult for Julie.   Julie understands what it means to be a good assistant, the way that she explained her need to be on an even keel regardless of whether Bethenny’s mood is up or down.  Bethenny recently gave Julie a raise and a new title chosen by her fans on Facebook and Twitter, COC or Coordinator of Chaos.

The discussion of the move to California was addressed while Bethenny was Andy Cohen’s guest on Watch What Happens Live, she knows that her life and her business is in New York and will be staying there but did say it was possible she may have a small home in Los Angeles as they do spend a lot of time there.  Funny, Bethenny can now afford that house that she and Jason admired while climbing the six foot high fence while visiting California and looking at homes, in fact, she can now probably buy three or four of those homes.

Bethenny had the final session with her therapist of the season, she talked about her amazing success and how she’d love to be able to see how her father would react to see the daughter that he always said wouldn’t amount to anything become even more successful than he had ever dreamed of being.  Yes, Bobby Frankel was successful at what he did but in his personal life, there was a lot left to be desired and he never cared for his only daughter.   His success was built over a lifetime and he was a well-respected race horse trainer but he never made $120 million in one fell swoop.

Bethenny also talked about having another baby, hopefully this time she’ll be able to announce it to her fans in her own way on her own terms rather than the termite Perez Hilton announcing it for her.  Hopefully this time she won’t have Jill Zarin telling her how, when and where to announce her pregnancy and giving her tips on how to handle the press.  This time we’ll all learn about the birth from Bethenny rather than Jill Tweeting nonsense she heard second hand.  Best of luck to Jason and Bethenny in their quest to grow their family.

As the Hoppy family walks through the snowy streets of New York and discuss taking their staff out for a nice Italian Dinner, Jason checks his email on his cell phone.  There it is, the “Final Offer” for Bethenny’s Skinnygirl Cocktails.  While they aren’t allowed to discuss final figures, they always seem to slip out and $120 million dollars later, Jason keeps telling Bethenny how proud he is and she keeps including Jason as part of her success.  Sickeningly sweet and I loved every minute.

Bethenny explained that after all these men run liquor companies turned her down when she tried to get them to produce Skinnygirl Margaritas, they all turned her down but now that she is a huge success they all want to buy her Skinnygirl Cocktails.  This put Bethenny in an excellent bargaining position and she allowed the audience to see the final culmination of that negotiation as she and Jason sat quietly at their dining room table and just talked about it, cried and enjoyed the moment.

Flashbacks to scenes from The Real Housewives of New York that show Bethenny with some of her cast mates and introducing Skinnygirl Margaritas to Luann, discussing everything that Bethenny wants in her life with Jill and revealing her first logo with Alex.  Bethenny got everything she wanted in life and more, she found not only the love and the success but a whole family she adores and a beautiful baby girl.

Bethenny compares it to winning the lottery but buying a ticket in the corner store is a whole lot different than what Bethenny has created.  She has truly created an empire and her deal with Jim Beam allows her to continue to be the driving force behind Skinnygirl Cocktails.

The season ends as Jason presents Bethenny with their Wedding album and as they pour over the pages of photographs, Bethenny admits that marriage is hard and they’ve worked really hard to make it this far but after their first year, they’re really happy!

Season Three of the show will not be Bethenny moving to California as many predicted but it should be interesting as Bethenny who is frugal and conservative with her money along with her husband Jason who she describes as cheap begin to live their lives with $120 million dollars in the bank.  I’m looking forward to seeing little Bryn in her second year growing and beginning to walk and talk, she is so adorable and will probably steal the show during season three.   Bethenny has hinted that Season Three will be the last season of the show, most likely she’s so disappointed that Jill’s not watching so she’s just going to wrap it up and be done with it.

Watch What Happens Live    Andy Cohen welcomed Bethenny Frankel to the clubhouse on Sunday.  She has to be one of the most frequent guests and always seems to appear alone while most Housewives appear alongside another housewife or other  celebrity.

Bethenny gave us a few revelations,  she does sympathize with Slade Smiley, Gretchen’s boyfriend on The Real Housewives of Orange County.  The popular thing to do seems to be bashing Slade Bethenny never lets popular opinion sway her own opinion.

The interesting part of the show actually came a day later.  Andy’s poll for the evening asked viewers to choose their favorite mother.  Seven choices were given including the winner Lisa Vanderpump and second place winner, Caroline Manzo.  Bethenny came in third ahead of Andy’s  mother and NeNe Leakes.

Apparently Jill Zarin was upset that she wasn’t included in the choices, for the record, Jill’s mommy wasn’t on the list either.  Jill instructed her teenage trained thugs to tweet nasty things to Andy for not including Jill.   Jill must have felt that she would have gotten a respectable number of votes but personally I think Andy Cohen did her a big favor.  I think he was trying to save her the embarrassment of being on the bottom of the poll.  Does anyone else believe that Jill watches Bravo all day and night waiting to hear if her name is mentioned?

I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if Bethenny requested that Jill’s name not be mentioned on the show.  She’s gotten the same questions over and over about Jill and it really is time to move on.  Jill can’t seem to figure out how to move on but Bethenny clearly has moved on.

"Why wasn't I in the mother poll?"

Jill watches Bethenny on Watch What Happens Live hoping beyond hope that her ex-bestie will utter her name just once.  She’s on the edge of her seat, she shutters to hear them talking about how very rich Bethenny is now.  According to Jill Zarin law you don’t talk about money but worse than their lapse of judgment, Jill doesn’t want to hear how rich Bethenny is particularly because it surpasses her husband’s net worth.

Jill learned along with the rest of us that Bethenny has decided not to move to California permanently and secretly Jill hopes this means that someday she’ll run into Bethenny in the street as she’s walking Cookie and little Bryn is in the stroller.  In Jill’s fantasy the two women embrace and decide to stop for a cup of coffee.  Bethenny tells Jill that she misses her and hopes that she’ll be in her life and little Bryn’s life.  Bethenny agrees to leave Jason if he doesn’t agree with her decision to resurrect her friendship with Jill Zarin.  Jill is lying in bed with Bobby Zarin and as Ginger lets one rip, she smiles thinking of how she would announce to her thousands of fans that Bethenny is her friend again….fade to black… Jill is shocked into reality as the commercial is over, Andy and Bethenny appear on her television screen once again…

As Jill continues to watch, Andy explains the game of the night.  Andy’s mom reads Housewives quotes and it is Bethenny’s job to tell us who uttered those brilliant gems of wisdom.  Jill waited as quotes came from Phaedra Parks and Tamra Barney but not one of Jill’s quotes was used and Jill makes a mental note to be more interesting in the future.  Maybe she should hire a writer to feed her talking head interview quotes the way Kelly did.  Maybe she’ll just steal some of Bethenny’s old funny one-liners the way Kelly did.

Jill is excited as Andy begins to ask Bethenny about The Real Housewives of New York he asked Bethenny how she felt about Alex’s modeling career and Sonja’s change this season.  Bethenny doesn’t pretend that she’s not watching the Real Housewives of New York, Jill is secretly thrilled knowing the multi-millionaire is still watching the show as it could mean Bethenny is still interested in Jill Zarin.  Bethenny agreed that Alex has what it takes to model, and that Sonja has become unhinged this season.  Jill becomes a bit unhinged watching it, she’s wailing to Bobby, “why doesn’t Andy ask Bethenny about me?”

A viewer sends in a question, “Which NY housewife has changed the most?”  Jill knows this is her moment, Bethenny is sure to agree that Jill has changed for the better but her heart sinks as Bethenny says that she thinks Alex has changed the most.  Jill throws Ginger’s rubber chew toy at the television and Bobby stirs in his sleep.

Tell the truth, you can't wait to see this show!

Next Monday starts Real Housewives of New Jersey  premier starts at 9pm /8pm Central, an hour earlier than normally with a full 90-minutes of Jersey girls.  I know what you’re thinking, you’ve decided you’re done with Jersey, the show was really lousy last season and you’re not getting sucked in this time. We suffered through an entire 14-weeks of three housewives against one housewife and it  got so boring and really stupid.  It seemed scripted and contrived as all they did was talk about Danielle Staub and it appeared as though Danielle had done nothing to warrant all this attention.  The big season end meeting between Caroline and Danielle was ridiculous and was the perfect horrible ending to a horrible season.

But before you give up on The Garden State, keep in mind that there are two new housewives and both were brought on with the sole intention of making Teresa Giudice’s life miserable.  Is it bad that I am happy about that?   Teresa’s brother and his wife Melissa join the cast, Teresa threatened to walk from the show if Melissa was granted a place on the show.  The two women don’t get along and seem to be in a competition.  Teresa tells us that Melissa copies everything from Teresa even her house décor and building materials yet best we can tell, Melissa’s home was built and decorated before Teresa’s, and best we can tell Melissa and her husband Joe Gorga actually paid the people who built their home.

Another new housewife, Kathie Wilke joins the cast, Teresa’s cousin and no surprise there, Teresa doesn’t get along with her either.  Does Teresa get along with anyone?  This season looks and feels very different from the past two seasons, rather than having a Manzo focus, Teresa and her family are given more air time and it isn’t pretty.   How can you say no to that?

Tonight on Bravo a new Pregnant In Heels, I’m not sure how I feel about this show.  It is not something that I absolutely have to see and make a point of watching each week but if it’s on and there isn’t anything else on that is better, I’ll watch.  It is good for a bit of entertainment.  I am going to go out on a limb and predict this is the one and only season for Rosie Pope.

Thursday night’s Watch What Happens Live Andy welcomes New York Housewives Kelly and Cindy but the reason we’ll all be tuning in, Simon Van Kempen will be singing his new song LIVE!  Even Bethenny was excited!

Tomorrow Quincy will bring us her blog on Pregnant In Heels.

Until Next Time…

          lynn,
i would like to redirect your attention to ilana angels site, well mostly the comments left by others on behalf of bethenny frankel.
i understand you have one oppinion on bethenny and ilana has another, but oppinions are just that… oppinions, nothing more and nothing less.
oppinions are like assholes, we all have them and everyone elses stinks more than yours, mine or anyone elses.
now here is where it gets sad, someone has had the nerve to pull the hitler card on a jewish journal web site towords ilana, which i find quite sad. this person used the named steve to praise bethenny but wonder why hitler missed ilana.
wow, that is just down right mean and unnecessary.
i would like to hear your oppinion on this persons comment.
          i’m just sayin’…
          (o.m.g.)
you DO NOT need to print my comment to start a royal turf war but i respectfully am asking your true oppinion on such a ‘HATEFUL’ comment.
          thank you for your time.

sorry about the silly mix up but some mistakes are funny and help us laugh at ourselves.

You really need to get a life!

    • error404 says:

Hi Lisa. You forgot to include the link to Jill’s site to boost the hits. Mother will not be happy!!! LOL

      • Pantry Viewer says:

LOL Error! You crack me up 🙂

      • Lisa Jones says:

I really cant get over there being a site dedicated to hating someone. It is really sad that you have nothing better to do than hate on someone from reality TV. I don’t like or dislike Jill but if I did I sure wouldn’t take it so fas as to making a website to advertise it. Bethany should be ashamed of herself too for being remotely associated with it!

        • VAgirl says:

Did you have a comment or opinion about Bethenny Ever After? If not, then fly away you pesky gnat!

        • Lavalady says:

Ah Lisa, you have no idea. This blog is so much more than a hate site. You should go back and read some old blogs of Lynn’s and then you will understand what keeps us here.

        • quincyil says:

I think Lisa Jones is a PR move from Jill’s staff.

Who goes to a web site and gives their name like that?

lisanewengland doesn’t give her own name on her own website or twitter.

Jill is upset that Lynn and many people here loved Bethenny’s show.

          • quincyil says:

Please note, this person addresses Bethenny and this blog. Why does she care if Lynn paid to go to a Bethenny event?

Who would take the time to connect Bethenny to this blog and say that Bethenny should be ashamed?

Jill Zarin has issues with Bethenny for giving Lynn a hug, with Alex for meeting with Lynn in Chicago after a booksigning, with Sonja for giving an interview to Lynn’s podcast, and with Cat Ommanney who objected to Jill’s twitter dig at the cancellation of RHDC.

I always try to give my reasons for my opinions on this board.

Few people like Jill Zarin here, but many people like Bethenny, Alex, Ramona, and Sonja.

Feel free to drop in Lisa Jones and share anytime. We agree with you on one thing, hatred is bad. We, however see Jill Zarin as the person full of hate. The name of the blog is meant to show how disgusted Lynn and others were with the behavior of Jill Zarin.

            Q

            • Anne says:

Lisa does have a point, if the name is the site starts with “I hate…” it is hard for it to be unbiased towards the person it is refering to at any point in the future, if and/or when they change.

I really haven’t seen Jill do anything terrible this season, so I won’t comment.

As for Bethenny, good for her that she sold her company. Remember that not all of the 120M goes to her David Kanbar is an equal partner and now she has a suit with Raw Talent for a substantial sum. Now, the punitive damages they seek is off the mark, but if they were her agent and they made the intro to Kanbar and helped secure the deal between Kanbar and Bethenny they may well be entitled to the 12M in compensatory damages they are seeking.

Either way, Bethenny has made a lot of money. Likely as part of the deal with Fortune Brands she will have to continue for a period of at least 3 years to be the Skinny Girl spokesperson and that might mean being on another reality show. These were likely in the contract because Skinny Girl Margarita and cocktails are solely based on Bethenny’s name brand and not the formula.

No denying she did very well for herself.

“It is really sad that you have nothing better to do than hate on someone from reality TV.”
Thanks for taking the time out of your stem cell research. I’m sure you’ll find the cure for cancer any day now. What? Oh, well once you get back from taking those orphans out for ice cream, I’m sure you’ll find the time.

“I don’t like or dislike Jill but if I did I sure wouldn’t take it so fas as to making a website to advertise it.”
Because making a successful blog with an impressive number of regular followers is not something that interests you? You go girl! Don’t give into the “hate sells” mentality. Your New England blog may have only 3 followers, but at least you have your integrity, even if no one like you.

“Bethany should be ashamed of herself too for being remotely associated with it!”
Yes! Now, why couldn’t she use her time constructively, like by posting negative reviews of her cast mates books under a fake name, or tweeting her anger at being left off a Bravo poll? Frankel has her priorities all wrong, and that’s why she’ll never get anywhere in life!

btw… are you going to Brown in Sept or not?

        • kotagirl29 says:

Sorry, but the “I Hate Jill Zarin” title might have drawn most of us here, but we stay because of the people who read and post. There is so much more than hate here. There is love, humor, pain, camaraderie, hate, anger, confusion, silliness, laughter, and so much more. JZ is the reason we came the first time, but we come back for each other and so much more.

Does Jill have anyone on her staff who uses proper grammar?? Or who can type without making errors? Does she????

              • quincyil says:

It is my opinion that Jill Zarin and her PR dept. are busy in cyberspace trying to cause harm to Alex and Bethenny. It is my opinion that they are coming here to do damage.

The board commenters have not agreed with certain visitors because they come to attack.

I agree with Error that there is a pattern.

    • Christine says:

I’ve thought that too. Her nose couldn’t have changed that much from a “liquid face lift”. It is definitely more narrow and the tip certainly appears to have been shortened.
      Good B&A photos, NYCer.

      • Lavalady says:

At the wedding scene this season, there were some great profile shots of Jill as the ladies were sitting at the table. It was the first time that I realized that Jill’s nose from the profile angle was rather large. If someone (sorry, I am so computer illiterate) could get a shot of that profile, like RCH does in her blog, and compare it with one from a recent show, maybe when she was in Alex’s kitchen, I bet there would be a big difference

  4. Tulips In Sunshine (aka Laura) says:

Sounds like BEA is at least an entire box of tissues and I’ve already been through two in the last week being sicker than a dog Maybe after I watch this last, bittersweet episode, I’ll finally cry all this sickness right out of me. I always tear up at least once during BEA though….it is just so much fun and worth the time.

Hope everyone affected by the floods stays safe….bright and sunny and warm finally here in the Buckeye state….

Thanks Lynn as always for a wonderful job on all this madness….

  5. T-REX says:

I am in mourning that BEA is over this season, and looking forward to her next season which I hope is “Bethenny Pregnant again”.

  6. Lavalady says:

On BEA web site there is a video of Bethenny visiting a mom to be who is on bed rest with her second pregnancy, having lost her first baby. Does anyone know if she had her baby yet. The woman’s name is Julie, and she looked about 6 mos. pregnant.

  7. Kellita says:

Recorded BEA and can’t wait to watch later today. Love her! She’s the real deal.

  8. quincyil says:

Yesterday at IHJZ, we discussed a second book for Alex McCord. I thought “a tell all” would be a best seller, but wise board commenters reminded me that Jill Zarin has a team of lawyer on speed dial.

I think publishers have editors, lawyers, and insurance for the Jill Zarins on this planet.

It seems that Alex was asked in an interview while on her nation wide book tour last summer if there would be a second book.

    http://t.co/aO4NZ96

I learned a new term today, “roman a clef.” The didn’t mention this term in Microbiology/Immunology Grad School. When I finish my work, I am going to hunt down that term and learn more about that form of writing. Here is a paragraph from that article for those readers on the run.

“At the moment, Alex and Simon are in the middle of their book tour for Little Kids Big City, which is now in its second printing. It’s a well-written, ‘mom-oir’ (as Simon likes to call it) that chronicles their transformation from DINKY (dual income no kids yet) couple to hands-on, working parents of two sons, Francois and Johan. Also in the works are a “relationship book” written in the same ‘he said, she said’ style as Little Kids, a possible cookbook, and Alex tells me she’s penning a “roman a clef about the dark underbelly of reality television.” Watch out Jill Zarin!”

Bobby has a very expensive wife.

    • error404 says:

If Baba Wawa and The View weren’t able to destroy Star Jones for ‘Satin’s Sisters’, then the Zarins have no chance. But that won’t stop Jill. Even if she only gets the local butcher to refuse to serve them, she’ll be happy with the victory. LOL

    • neroes says:

A roman a clef is a novel in which actual persons, places or events are depicted in fictional guise. I hope Alex does write this book.

    • jeepers1941 says:

      Q,
      hope this will help:

      roman à clef

      (French; “novel with a key”)
Novel that has the extraliterary interest of portraying identifiable people more or less thinly disguised as fictional characters. The tradition dates to 17th-century France, when members of aristocratic literary coteries included in their historical romances representations of well-known figures in the court of Louis XIV. A more recent example is W. Somerset Maugham’s Cakes and Ale (1930), widely held to portray Thomas Hardy and Hugh Walpole. A more common type of roman à clef is one in which the disguised characters are easily recognized only by a few insiders, as in Simone de Beauvoir’s The Mandarins (1954).

For more information on roman à clef, visit Britannica.com. Britannica Concise Encyclopedia. Copyright © 1994-2008 Encyclopædia Britannica, Inc.

      • quincyil says:

This is very helpful. I knew that many fictional novels were based on people that the author knew personally. One was “To Kill a Mockingbird.” They author and her friends were the characters in the book. The lawyer in the book was her father.

I would buy that book if Alex publishes.

I own Encyclopedia Britanicca set here and looked at the de Lesseps information just the other day.

I think we should consider helping Alex with her outline and suggest chapters to her.

        • fort lauderdale gay says:

The new one should have a chapter on mean vicious morons. The first book had a chapter on well meaning morons…..

        • AZ Girl says:

@ Q: Did you know that many people think that Harper Lee did not write To Kill a Mockingbird? Many believe it was her childhood friend for life Truman Capote. Harper of course was the inspiration for Scout and Truman was the inspiration for Dill. I have read this book more times than I can count. Only when I read “Portraits and Observations by Truman Capote did it occur to me that the writing styles were so similar. Many find Truman hard to read. His short stories and interviews are really wonderful.

Another recent example of a roman a clef: “The Devil Wears Prada,” written by Lori Weisberger – and do to JZ what that book did to Vogue and Anna Wintour. 😉

This is where you lost me. Everybody knows Bawby stumbled in around 1:00, smelling of cigars, scotch and Charlie perfume. Jill made sure to mark it down in her “notes”, before slipping the eye mask back down. There would be words in the morning, except when Darrin woke Jill with her breakfast tray, Bawby had already slipped out.

  10. plainviewsue says:

I loved every minute of this episode. The way Bethenny produced the episode made all of us fans feel that we truly involved with every step of her success. I just loved the very last moment of the show where Bethenny & Jason just look at each other with such love.

Did you watch the after show of WWHL with Bethenny? Looks like there is no love lost between B and Ramona after Ramona made some disparaging remarks. Really disappointed in this, cos I thought Ramona had become a true friend to Bethenny.

Jillousy must be dying over all of the success that Bethenny has, both personal and professional.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Bethenny is honest but doesn’t have to be mean about it – Ramona’s style of support is strange and while I believe she really cares about Bethenny, she cares more about herself and her accomplishments.

      • sue says:

I truly think Romona, like Jill, got herself some really bad PR people and she/they advised she try and market her “Turtle Time” wine with a competitor so they could try and sell it because she is from the RHONY. Again it would be a stupid move, because it already looks like she is trying to copy Bethenny, just like Jill with her shapewear and Kelly with , I dont know, whatever Kelly thinks she can copy, ie her made-up Kelly lemonade and beer she never drinks or her cooking videos, or her uglier then hell jewelry line…sorry maybe I should not have included Kelly, cause that one is in a class all her own (and not in a good or smart way!)

        • error404 says:

I don’t agree it was a bad move. The bad part IMHO is the PR101 idea everyone keeps being fed. It’s so obvious R opened her big trap about B’s deal just so she could get a few blurbs about her wine in the press. I’m so sick or PR101. All press is NOT good press. R came of as an jealous ass.

I also don’t agree about the copying. When B started her skin care line, I didn’t immediately think “oh, she’s copying Ramoner!”. None of these idea are really original and tons of celebrities have their own wine. Even Peggy Fleming has a winery! I don’t see the Pinot as having anything to do with Skinny Girl, and as countless detractors point out, B hardly invented the idea low cal cocktails.

Bethenny’s shape wear line seems prettier than Jill’s. That coupled with B being a likable celeb vs Jill who is unlikable and unpopular, is what will make one more successful than the other. No one’s inventing the wheel here. One woman is just more business savy than the other. That’s all. IMO of course.

          • fort lauderdale gay says:

I’m still getting over Jill suggesting that a woman should go into a public restroom and turn her skweezy/sleazy couture inside out. Especially if it is “lined” with lace. I know what my face looks like in the morning after having slept on a wrinkly sheet. I can’t imagine any woman’s body with lace imprint all over it……and being happy about it!

          • sue says:

Ok maybe your right error 404, maybe I should have said “stealing an idea and not adding anything new to it”, meaning, it seems as though to me and other friends, that B comes up with these ideas and the rest of the broads take off on it without even adding their own flavor if you will, but just change the name of the product. Sorry, but B did it on her own and Jill and Kelly have to hire people for ideas and claim them as their own and that just rubs us the wrong way….Just like its supposed to be “reality”, and for the most part B is the realist one (maybe thats why she is so successful)but Bravo is now letting it get too fake with the housewive shows, and it is starting to piss viewers off, to the point of not watching anymore….Another thing, I realize Bravo briefs the ladies when they start on shows like this to, “get ready for the ride, cause your going to become famous”, but what about adding “real” middle class people to their line-up, they are the people who need to be able to make a little money in their lifetime…Just get ahold of our group here in Pa., I bet ‘cha we could make some real good tube watching!(LOL)

            • MichellefromNY says:

you’re forgetting that the point of these shows is to show us how the “rich and famous live”. People like to watch the unnattainable. That’s the whole premise of these shows.

              • sue says:

No, no, I get that. Its just that Jill truly believes her own hype just like Kelly, and by that, what I mean is, when you take things in stride, and yes I know most of them amp things up for viewership, but it really bothers me, that people Like Jill and Kelly, really live in their world like this. Everyone knows that Jill since she was little always wanted to be “popular” and “relevent” with the upper-crust, cause she assosciates that with being accepted even though she did nothing to get there but marry well, and Just like Kelly who wanted to be in the artsy fashion world, married a man to put her there because she could not achieve it on her own. And now that Jill and Kelly and LuAnn for that matter have their “reality fame”, instead of taking it for what it is they act vicious so as not to lose it. They truly think that it is their real world and that to many of us is the basic reason that now we cant stand them!!

Thanks Lynn – Bethenny is a blogger’s dream because she is all over the map but in a funny positive way. She will be missed but we do know she is in a good place!
Now that she is a SELF MADE millionaire (yes Jill some people make it instead of marrying it) it will be interesting to see what projects she will undertake. While I look forward to another season, I know she is living her life, taking it alittle easier and enjoying her family – and as a fan, that is exactly what I want for her!

    • sue says:

Amen windy, thats all I’m trying to say. Its as though Jill and Kelly are starting their so-called products lines out of pure spite,(and that is why Bdoes so well cause she is doing it to achieve things for her and her family). Reason being, Jill and Kelly both married rich men so they would not have to work if they truly were “self-starters” why didn’t they come up with their ideas long ago? why are alot of their product lines like Bethennys?, I’ll tell you why, they don’t have the brain capacity to come up with things because they never had to want for anything! Again, Jill and Kelly are doing it out of spite and it is back firing right in their faces, ie. Jills book, Kellys books, Jills bedding, Kellys “stolen jewelery”. Get the picture?

I really enjoyed this series. It was really refreshing seeing someone work hard on a business, and have such success. Although Bethenny will be forever linked with a start on reality shows (first Martha Steward’s Apprentice, and then Real Housewives), and will never be able to shake Jill Zarin and her sticky icky fingers – this show and her financial independence was a huge step forward.

After watching her talk to such large crowds and really think on her feet – I think her future is limitless. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if she gets to co-host a talk show. It would have to be in NY or a major market where her brand of “tell it like it is” doesn’t make people cringe. But she’s got something special, and I can see why Andy Cohen loves her so much. She’s his star – and they both know it.

I actually feel sorry for Jill because I believe they had a real friendship, and if Jill had been supportive and a good friend, she would have been part of the inner circle today. It’s hard to say why Bravo chose to have Bethenny go solo rather than do a Jill and Bethenny spinoff – but I think they made the right choice. Both couldn’t have left NY or it would have imploded, and what’s the use of a spin off if the original series dies. Besides – who knows what antics Jill was up to at the time – but I’m sure there were plenty.

    • error404 says:

” It’s hard to say why Bravo chose to have Bethenny go solo rather than do a Jill and Bethenny spinoff ”

Really? I think it’s a no-brainer. B was voted “fan favorite”, not a B&J tie. Bravo always seems to have understood B’s ability to speak to their audience. She’s like The Viewer Whisperer. Jill is notoriously difficult to deal with and doesn’t corner the chick market the way that B does. Did you see all of those women eat up B’s “break the chain” message? They LOVED it! Compare that to sales of Jill’s 1950’s era “how to marry a millionaire” take on ‘the rules’ moldy book, and you see what today’s woman wants to hear. ‘A place of yes’ seems to be ‘how to BE a millionaire’. Sister’s are finally doing it for themselves. Jill is a dinosaur.

This is my favorite show and today I’m in mourning although I AM looking forward to the hot mess new Jersey promises to be with Caroline telling the Guidices et al that they’re “fambly” and Jaq praying there be “no cops”

      • sue says:

J is known for also paying people off. I agree with you in as far as if Jill would have stayed the course of their friendship and not have gotten greedy, there may have been a “Laverne and Shirly” type spinoff, but Jill took it to another level that to many of us came off very dark and mean. We all saw that B tried to salvage the relationship and if the winds would have blown in Jills direction she would have beaten down B at at every turn. Jill was sneaky and coniving and lost all of the human level of her and Bethennys friendship which was authentic and that is what the viewers liked and wanted more of.

        • Furalis says:

You are so right. Bethenny even told Jill in confidence that she got her own show thinking Jill would be happy for her, but instead treated her like the rest of her minions and went on the attack. Jill doesn’t know how to be a good friend she just tabulates who gets more than she and can’t handle if better things are there for others. She deserves to be treated like the Queen she is or so she thinks.

      • California35 says:

        Absolutely agree with you Error.
There is NO way I identify with Jill and her advice and her life style…yet I can relate to Bethenny’s. I am in my 30’s and have struggled (not like her) but on some aspects like her. Upbringing, doing it on my own, wanting to break the chain, weight problem. I get stuck in situations for a while some times, but eventually I wake up and start moving again. I wish I did it faster though lol
My point is that she is just more relatable at least to me than the other wives, and SPECIALLY Jill.

    • fort lauderdale gay says:

After crucifying Bethenny all of season 3, Jill deserved to do a spin off show with Bethenny about as much as NeNe deserved to record Tardy for the Party with Kim. I fully acknowledge that Kim can’t sing, but kudos to Kandy for making a melody out of smoke and swamp water.

      • keah says:

Spin it however you want. Their will always be people who deserve good things, and others who dont care how they get anything. The people who work hard and treat others well have integrity, and the people who get what they want off of others backs only Pretend they have integrity and others see it ie. Jill and Kelly. Meaning, most viewers choice is Bethenny, the person who is most successful is Bethenny, the one who has a hit show without being petty and lying is Bethenny!!….Another thing, I Loved Jill for Jill on the first and second season because she was the real Jill, But when the devil came out of her on season 3, regardless of who she went after, showed me if she had the potential to do that to a friend, she would do it to her own family!!!

I have not watched the last three episodes of BEA and I assumed and then Andy confirmed on WWHL that the excitment would be about her offer from the liquor company.

Bethanny has come a long way. I still remember her introducing that drink on RHNY. She truly can say she has it all and all at one time! In the words of Lil Wayne, “if you got eyes, look at me now, beotch!”

    • WindyCityWondering says:

HD – please make a point of seeing the episodes you missed – Bethenny is a storyteller complete with pictures!
Bethenny saw reality tv as an opportunity to flesh out her empire – it was never about being a “star” or “fame”. This is what the other wives don’t get and still can’t understand – success isn’t about who you are as much as about what you are trying to accomplish and how you treat people along the way.

      • HD says:

I think the timing with Bethanny was something that is a once in a lifetime opportunity. It seemed like the Universe just opened up and said here you go. (of course she worked hard up to that) But once it happened, it happened and it happened big! I love when life works out that way.

    AFBravo
    10 May, 2011 at 1:01 am
I’m not sure if this was answered by another poster, but about Slade’s “Mom”…

My DVR happened to have a rerun of the episode when Slade’s parents visited in their RV. And it was definitely not the same woman! Her name was JANE. Maybe SHE was Slade’s step-mom and Liz is his real mom.

As a matter of fact, Jane didn’t talk much in the commentary, it was mainly his father that did. That could mean something…

    • VAgirl says:

      i meant OT vice OY

      • WindyCityWondering says:

Add a Vey to that OY – because if Slade needs a stand in mom that is very sad. Having an actress grill you like your mom should makes it all the more disgusting.

  20. Katiecoo says:

Ya know, after watching the finale *twice* back to back last night and getting up this morning still thinking about it and reading the blog here, I’m having a thought.

Part of why Bethenny is such a hit is that she hits that perfect note of knowing she worked hard for all she’s experiencing right now combined with the *awe* of it all being some kind of miracle at the same time. She doesn’t fall in to this place of “oh look at all I’ve accomplished–it’s all about ME!” but remains in that awe-filled place of “I can hardly believe this” and it’s all genuine. We can FEEL it. When she writes (and reads) she did this for CONNECTION with others, we can all relate.

All of us who’ve felt disconnected, like life wasn’t on our side, like we got a short stick in life, like all we’ve done is struggle, she’s our champion. And when she says she CARES about those of us out here knockin out the same kind of life, sometimes wanting to give up/give in, we BELIEVE her. Because she’s sincere. She is the best of Reality TV. Like a character and cast of characters you couldn’t write if you wanted to.

One last thought–I will take from Bethenny–is how critical it is to make GOOD CHOICES of who you surround yourself with in your inner circle. I mean look–Jason, Julie, Jason’s family, the close friends we’ve seen, her therapist, both nannies and of course Nick. They are all also genuine people who genuinely care about her, even though a lot of people might toss some aside (like Dawa or Nick) but her keen sense of *goodness* is a guide we (I) could develop more. It is a HUGE part of her success. Along with ridding herself of the bad seeds like Jill Zarin and not looking back. Good for her.

And finally, I follow her on twitter and did you know that ONE of her SEVEN people she follows is our Lynn Hudson? And she has hundreds of thousands of followers. I say I’m already learning how to connect with the “good vibe kaleidoscope” Bethenny role models. And that includes all of your posters! Ok now I’m gonna lose my eye makeup I so carefully put on this morning. I’m telling you, this show has opened my heart again and I am so grateful. ❤

In Jan., Lynn went to one of those appearances in Waukeegan, IL. She sat behind Jason, his friend and a few other people traveling with Bethenny. Bethenny said she reads the blog. Bethenny’s assistant told Lynn that she also reads this blog.

I think people here are honest. I have at times disagreed with other about Bethenny too. If a reality star wants to know the reality of their status, an independent site would be the place to go. Bravo filters and censures.

I follow Bethenny and I signed up on her web site for her newsletters. I enjoy them.

I loved the part of the show when Bethenny said she was beginning to open up her heart to Jason’s parents and starting to realize how much they love her and how proud they are of her. She has come a long way since the first show of the season.

    • Sus says:

Me too. I was very critical of Bethenny’s reaction to the in-laws in the first few shows. She’s really opened herself up to their love. As a mom I think she sees how cool it is when other people are crazy in love with her baby. It’s irresistible. Having a baby definitely helped smooth things over with my in-laws.

    • Mookies1mom says:

You can tell they are developing a wonderful relationship. Just they way they look at each other. They also are able to accept her for who she is and love her for it. Just seeing the way they interacted after her show and in the restaurant show how much more their relationship has developed. I thought it would. That doesn’t happen over-night but over time. I thought it was great to see that she has the family she always wanted but never had. She has then now and that is a wonderful thing.

  22. Katiecoo says:

Didn’t you guys all find it kind of interesting that in that scene with Jill, she was almost affirming Bethenny couldn’t “have it all”? Like she had to choose the business over family success and that was her goal? It was so clear to me how Jill was invested in Bethenny NOT getting successful in love so she could keep her like a little lapdog in her bed forever. Did anyone else pick up on this in that dialogue?

I think Dr. Amador might have asked her a question like “what is it about thinking you have to choose one over the other?” and let her figure that out. Obviously I paid close attention to the therapy sessions. LOL

    • quincyil says:

Jill is trying to have it all, but Bobby is bank rolling her businesses. She did not knock on doors to find a producer.

Thanks to all of you XXOO

This blog, it’s authors and posters are gems. You have been welcoming, supportive and fun. You’ve reaffirmed my faith in humanity. Especially American humanity. ((everybody))

  26. aintinice says:

Damn Bravo, I hate their blog site. Loved BEA last night, what a way to end the season’s last episode. Was bawling my eyes out and so wishing I could be at one of her speaking engaements. Who knows, maybe?

    • VAgirl says:

I’m determined to make it to one if she has one anywhere near me – like within a day’s travel.

  27. quincyil says:

    This is news.

I called my local med spa to make an appointment and asked her as a joke: “Do you have a liquid facelift.?” She said, “Yes.” Then she went on to describe all of the things this liquid facelift can do. They can put fillers in your nose along the ridge so a bump does not look like a bump anymore. The can put fillers in the tip of your nose and that will make it be less droopy. I said that this could affect the look of the nostrils like a rhinoplasty then and she said, “Yes.”

I think Jill Zarin was telling the truth and she did not go under the knife. She went to Dr. Pat Wexler as she said and they injected stuff along the edges of her face and her nose.

Reality Crack House has a photograph of Jill sitting on the bottom of the bed in the scene with Kelly. RCH circled a lump on Jill’s face right under the eye and said that she had this on both sides. I think these are injection sites from fillers that she had last fall. The new lift is just more of the same.

I am sure Bobby can pay for Jill to have this work done forever. I don’t think it lasts more than a few months and to me thousands of dollars seems expensive, but not to Jill.

I just try for “healthy looking” for my age.

    Q

    • NYCer says:

Jill’s nose looks smaller and more defined in recent shots from Wendy Williams and WWHL. Fillers don’t take away volume. I think she had surgery after this current season wrapped filming.

      • quincyil says:

I agree. Jill said that she had new makeup that made it look like shadows also. Oprah has used that trick for decades.

    • VAgirl says:

That’s interesting that those things can be done without “going under the knife.” I’m all for those who want to get “refreshed.” All things in moderation, I say. Not for me personally, but not against it.

    • Christine says:

Our lines and wrinkles are our testaments to long lives and experience. ITA – healthy is better.

      • quincyil says:

A man was collecting donations for a charity in front of Walmart so I gave him money and he offered chicklets gum. I said, “No, thankyou.” Then he said take them for your grandchildren. So I guess I look like a grandmother since I don’t know that guy. rotfl.

        • VAgirl says:

Ouch! I’ve been waiting for people to start asking me if I want the senior citizens discount, but so far so good.

          • Mookies1mom says:

I was in a restaurant yesterday and Mookie’s dad saw this sign I couldn’t read. Basically it said: Why arrive at your funeral looking none the worse for wear. Arrive looking a little disheveled, skidding in and yelling what a hell of a ride!

That’s the way I want to go! Well, at least I hope someone fixes my hair and adds a little make-up.

  28. Golden Girl says:

When Jill was asked if she had any work done she said no but I think having a liquid face lift is the same as “having work done”.

    • Golden Girl says:

Oops this was in reply to Quincy.

    • NYCer says:

Yes- I think she looks good, but why deny anything? It’s not like she wants to live a private life. I mean she sends a tweet with every outfit change!

      • VAgirl says:

Personally if I were Jill and Wendy Williams had asked me if I had any work done, I would reply, “Yes, do you like it?” That would cause anyone who asked to pause for a second, don’t you think? Let people speculate about it. It keeps your name in the spotlight and that’s exactly what Jill wants. That’s what her publicists should be advising her. JMHO.

        • WindyCityWondering says:

Exactly if you have work done then own it! If you don’t then the work was done in vain because people are thinking about you being a liar instead of looking good.

          • VAgirl says:

True that! I think she looks better. She could stop dressing like a Madonna/Brittney/Lady Ga Ga wanna be, though. That’s not working for her. She used to dress a lot better than she does now. Bring that stylist back, Jill, and stop taking advice from your twenty-something interns/lackeys/flying monkeys, etc.

            • lillybee says:

Or hire Bethenny;s stylist. Beth always looks perfect.

              • VAgirl says:

Except for that wifebeater tank top she had on Sunday night. LOL! Her arms looked FAB, but didn’t care for man’s t-shirt look.

                • VAgirl says:

But I’ll let her slide this one time (says the lady who is sitting here in workout pants and flip flops) LOL!

              • Suzieq says:

Oh I agree!! She has the best style and I always love what she wears. I can’t even stand looking at the OC and Jersey women…..they all look like they’re trying to dress like teenagers with all those tacky rhinestone crap!

            • fort lauderdale gay says:

She’s too busy selling off all of her clothing on Ebay….

          • Furalis says:

That is a really good point. Why deny it? Like you have exercized your way to a better nose?

    • error404 says:

      THANK YOU!

Seriously, this is right up there with “we didn’t have sex, she only gave me a bj”.

I still have no idea what this nations obsession with celebrity cosmetic surgery is! Does it really matter if Jill had 100 deetle bugs suck on her face overnight or not?

      • quincyil says:

No, but you are not going to the med spa appointment with me either. LOL. All women try to look their best so we are interested in the lates fads.

      • VAgirl says:

Error. So agree with you that the public seems way overly fascinated with who has had what done. Who cares – more power to them. But I do like to hear about the latest things available for those who want to make themselves feel better and look better (not look like a totally different person though – talking about a couple of those OC, BH and Miami ladies)

        • fort lauderdale gay says:

I want a 55 gallon drum of anti-aging/anti-gravity cream! It’s more difficult for a man to find someone who can do good work on men.

I never thought of that but it’s probably true.

          • quincyil says:

I think men look better longer. I think it may be the effects of shaving cream and a razor every morning.

Maybe, Caroline Manzo has a good idea.

personally, I found passing my sell-by-date liberating. Having creepy strangers invade my private space to whisper in my ear all the filthy things they want to do to me is not a cherished memory from the good old days. • quincyil says:

I always preferred men a few years old than me. I currently then 67 year old to 90 year olds are hot. If you in that range, I bet someone thinks you are not past the sell by date.

I get why people like Rachel Ray have doctors on to explain the latest procedures to the viewers.

I don’t get why people like Andy and Wendy ask invited guests if they’ve had work done. I doubt it has anything to do with curiosity over advanced medicine. The viewer curiosity doesn’t bother me as much as the host actually asking. It seem rude to me.

          • quincyil says:

Thanks Lynn, wonderful recap of a lovely show.

BEA is everything I had once hoped the Housewives franchise would be. I love having a window into someone whose life is so different from mine – the TV shows, book signings etc. Yet she still faces the same challenges as me – balancing work and family, overcoming issues from the past.
Katiecoo said exactly how I feel about B in her post above.

  30. Ramona’s latest tweet:

ramonasinger: Who watched @Bethenny finale last night? I really am SO proud of her and everything that she has accomplished! Aren’t you?

Operation Damage Control!!! Wendy Williams called Ramona out this morning. She said that Ramona was jealous of Bethenny and that Ramona needs to get over it.

    • VAgirl says:

At least Ramonacoaster realizes when she has made an oops and doesn’t try to weasle her way of her comments like someone else whom this blog is named after. I just wish she wouldn’t make so many oopsies. Just about every other sentence out of Ramona’s mouth is an oopsy.

      • error404 says:

IDK something about Ramoner’s oopsys seem too premeditated to be true oopsys… Kodak is a failing brand, Kelly looks like she had a botched boob job, you planted the Perez Hilton story yourself… they all seemed like typical “ooh, I’m gonna stir up some shit when I get there!” moments to me.

        • VAgirl says:

Yeah, you’re probably right. I just want to give her the benefit of the doubt cause for some reason I like her. She’s definitely no worse than Lumann, Jill, Kelly or Cindy, which is not saying much is it?

      • I like Ramona but you can’t bash your friends in the media and expect that everything is going to be okay. The only reason she is doing damage control is because Bethenny laid her out on WWHL. I don’t think she expected Bethenny to respond to her comments publicly. I think it’s safe to say that the friendship is over. I hope Ramona learns something from this but I doubt it. She is who she is.

        • VAgirl says:

I used to say that about myself. I am who I am and I can’t change. You know what? That’s BS. People can change if they really want to. I know I have changed for the better. Of course there’s always room for improvement. Ramona, Jill, Vicki – all you who have said you have renewed yourselves, you are going to try to be better, etc, just prove it already. You may have done it on the outside, but how about the inside?

        • aquamarinecandy-o83 says:

I missed WWHL – how did Bethenny respond to Ramona’s comments? thx!

        • ihearttalavera says:

What media comments did Ramona make? Was this something Lynn posted? On Bravo? Sorry, I missed it. I was very surprised to hear Bethenny’s comments about her on WWHL, but I knew I must have missed something.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Ramona was probably just as touched and inspired as we were! At least she admits to watching Bethenny’s show.

  31. Amber...Real Wife says:

It seems Ramona is upset at Bethenny. I don’t think it’s competitive as they have different products and those that are similar are still in different sub categories. Diehard Wine and Margarita drinkers rarely switch so they aren’t directly competing against each other except for bragging rights. Ramona has her skin care line longer than Bethenny and she’s the only one in the jewelry biz. Yes, Kellykookoodo doesn’t count.

Nope I think Ramona’s not jealous, more so angry that the press and fans made claims the show would be boring or done without Bethenny. Feeling slighted, coupled with “stories” Jillousy, Kookco and Dasboot told her about Bethenny and you have a miffed Ramona towing the company line. She claims Bethenny likes to exaggerates (i.e. liar), the show was too dark while B was on and that the show is better without her. Did you ever?! She made herself look like a jealous loon. Good work Jillzilla!

CrazyMona seems to have forgotten it was Jizz that brought the dark cloud over production of RHONY with her jealousy and hate for Bethenny. That it was Kookla, on ScaryIsland, who had a breakdown and terrorized her, Bethenny and Alex! And Luman is a jealous slithering broke ass skanky boot wearing snake who can’t be trusted!

Although past seasons of RHONY is played in syndication, out on DVD and imbedded in our memory banks, it seems yet another NYhousewife is re-writing history…or stretching, embellishing, exaggerating…

    • VAgirl says:

Agree. Hopefully she will realize her mistakes and move on without digging herself deeper.

    • error404 says:

Ramoner is not the only one to claim the $120mil rumor is a ridiculous exaggeration, she’s just the only HW stupid enough to say such things out loud. That’s our Ramoner! LOL

I sometimes wonder if the black cloud comment was a direct quote, or if she meant the whole Jill vs Bethenny feud was a black cloud over the show, which it was! … still, it’s priceless, especially given the promo Bravo is showing of next week’s Jill vs Ramoner slap down! LOL

    • quincyil says:

Ramona had skin care too and now Bethenny is coming out with skin care. I think Ramona is competitive.

    • chismosa says:

Kookla! omg- that means doll in greek- first kiki and now kukla! my aunts call me that all the time. too much greek on this site.. ha ha

  32. OneMoreInBoston says:

    Hello all my darlings!

Watched BEA last night and I laughed, I cried, I nearly died! What a wonderful show!

I couldn’t wait to come here first chance I could, to discuss the flashback scenes with Jill, Luann, and Alex. I literally sat up a little straighter on my couch and turned up the volume when I saw Jill.

It almost seemed like Bethenny was showing the very beginning of SGM when she was talking through her ideas and verbalizing her life’s ambitions and goals with Jill, progressing to Lu Ann giving her a little encouragement, to Alex metaphorically high fiveing her when revealing the SGM logo.

Last night I felt like it was a nice little shout out to those women, a tribute to those who encouraged her in the past- as I couldn’t help but notice no Roman-er or Kiki- and I thought “well, that was nicely done”. Although I was a little perplexed by Jill’s appearance- I guess Jill’s friendship and then the break up of that friendship IS a part of Bethenny evolving into the success she is today.

Then this morning when mulling it over I was thinking maybe it was meant to be a little dig at them…like I was there, right there with you…and now I’m not there because I have so far moved above where I was, and above where you still are now.

Oh and your show sucks now too. (ok- maybe she didn’t mean that about the show…) Dunno…maybe I’m wrong as no one else seemed to really pick up on it.

And I agree with you Katiecoo-Bethenny looks past appearances to try and get to the real essence of a person and if they will fit in with her life. Gina, Dawa, and Nick are people that JZ would never have given the time of day to- just not fabulous enough to service her bad self.

MAMAZ, Krone- nice to see your posts on IHJZ again!

sigh…back to the coal mines..I will stop by a little later!

    • VAgirl says:

Please stop by later OMIB! I know I speak for many when I say you are missed when you’re not here.

    • MAMAZ says:

      Hi OMIB! 🙂
I don’t visit very often anymore. I am so busy these days. But I do love BEA.

    • So true about how Bethenny looks at the inner soul and goodness of a person, not their surface looks (labels they wear or what part of town they live in). That’s why I think so highly of B! My dad was a truck driver who delivered high-end cabinets to the wealthy in the San Francisco Bay Area. He had some interesting stories, but once, when I was a kid, he said after delivering goods to the late Bing Crosby’s wife, Kathryn Crosby offered him some cake and coffee and chatted with my dad for a bit. I never forgot that story.
I grew up blue collar in a white collar neighborhood and was often embarrassed of my dad coming home with callous hands wearing sweaty shirts and steel toe boots. I was at that young, self-conscious age where looks was everything. My clothes never measured up to the Jills at school. But his stories made me realize that surface values were horrible barometers of mankind.
My dad passed away 15 yrs ago, but watching Bethenny reminds me of the inner beauty beating out surface flash all the time. And THAT’S why IHjZ!!!

  33. WALLETSNIFFERJILLZARiN says:

I was a crying fool last night watching Bethenny. I think for me is she is so inspiring. I can totally relate to the ups and downs. One minute it is fun and happy next minute Linda Blair (from the exorcist) walks in with her head turning. That is what I love about her she is the real deal and puts it all out there for us. She never complains about editing. It is her which is absolutely fabulous.
She is such a wonderful mother and wife. That baby is adored by everyone and it all stems from love. Something Bethenny never knew but definately broke the chain.

One of the biggest things I admire about her is her work ethic. Look at what this woman has accomplished by herself! She didn’t have to sleep or marry an old wrinkled wealthy man to accomplish this goal. It is just about the hardwork something her previous castmates do not have a clue about.
I am ecstatic (sp) that she is a multi-millionaire and hopefully can relax a little more and have another baby quick.

P.S.Who was the creepy guy in Delaware where he was reclined back with his rolled up program not amused at all?

    • VAgirl says:

He must have been forced to go with his wife or girlfriend- LOL!

    • quincyil says:

Perhaps a husband who did not want to go to the event, but had a wife who needed a driver.

    • Powell says:

You’ve got to give Ramona her props for her thriving business and work ethic. We’re just getting to know Cindy but she is also pretty successful w/her salons.

      • lovemamaearth says:

I hope they show the first season again. I don’t remember Ramona being all tha involved in Maurio’s business. Later she mentioned she bought and sold closeouts.

    • OneMoreInBoston says:

maybe it was one of Jill’s interns

    • Katiecoo says:

I caught that too! hahaha! We need a screenshot of that one and all caption it!

On twitter last night it was all @bethenny and the most frequently used word was “inspire” or “inspirational” or “inspiring”. All over the map. Now if I’d been playing Andy Cohen’s drinking game on that word, I’d still be drunk 24 hours later.

  34. California35 says:

So much to say so much to say so much to say…..so few words and so little time.

Thanks Lynn for creating the blog over a year ago. Thanks for keep on giving us this board full of recaps and coments.

Loved BEA as much or even more than I loved BGM? I love that her dreams are coming true and I love her new family. I am sad that the season ended, but I am very happy to know that she is taking time for her and her family away from the cameras. I am looking forward to hearing more from her, and to her new season. She start taping in a few months, so she needs to take advantage of this private time right now.

About Jill…..just whatever…she is just not going to change and she still gets upset, I wish she just stays away and tries to have a happy life so that she doesn’t get involved or upset about the little things….

About NJHW — Lynn, if you put it that way — I will watch then 😛 I wasn’t interested last season, and from what I saw…I just didn’t think there would be another season. They have new people in it, so I will treat it as a new show and give it a try.

Oh and in case it wasn’t clear — I will miss Bethenny and BEA 😦

Ok – better get back to work…a date line changed to today instead of tomorrow, and I was told of it this morning…so must get it done.

    Have nice afternoon….

  35. chismosa says:

hi everyone- it’s been ages since i posted (not that anyone misses me / notices just saying)- but hope you are all well and had wonderful mother’s days-
i still have to watch Bethenny
i still have to watch Bethenny on BEA – but just wanted to add to the comments about RHNY on thursday and the mass campaign against Ramona (MCR). i agree with everyone and am SO happy you guys have all rallied against Jill and her underhanded serpent ways of going about ruining Ramon-ER’s name this year. I hope we all realize this is what is happening, with or without Shed/ Bravo/ Andy’s adding fuel to the fire. Also i want to say that i support R no matter what, i know she is nit-picky about her pinot but these gals film for about 4 hrs at least per spot we see on the show, i would be SCREAMING for a drink. Yes Ramonerr did say some odd things about Bethenny (haven’t watched it all yet) – but that is how she is. Remember she did go after B at her most vulnerable on the Brooklyn Bridge that time. I still support Ramoner and Alex and (havent watched it yet- C-Apprentice)- i still care for Nene no matter how she comes off!
I just GET these women, i know it is not kosher to go around acting the way they do/ way they come off but i get their motivations. Just like we can read Jill’s motivations like a book.

So let’s make sure we are clear in our mission to see through e-v-e-r-y single machination that Jill along with Lulu and Kiki (i laugh that she calls herself this name because in Greek we use Kiki – accent on the second syll-aaaah-bull- as a common nickname).
I still like Sonja – i think i get what she says, in the context of the overall issue with Cindy not understanding what she is doing filming this show after it’s been on 3 SEASONS. I know she is kooky but i like that she stays true to her friendship with -errrr. (ramona)

Hate Cindy, the mouth, the slack-jaw, the rolling of the eyes, the way she pronounces everything which i take offense to because i grew up in long island and speak much better and she makes a mockery and stereotype. (of course Jill too)

Wanted to thank Quincy and Lynn again for wonderful analysis !

I loved this season of BEA and look forward to #3, where I hope baby #2 materializes for the Hoppy’s. “Good Talk”

    • chismosa says:

she did have a bit of a baggy shirt on Ellen yesterday. hopefully she is getting to work on it. too much makeup on WWH as opposed to Ellen.

my idea- she may be a good person in contention for Regis & Kelly since Reg is retiring (or rather, leaving). But don’t think Kelly is so bff’s with B. Plus i think they want a guy. Ellen on the other hand- LOVES B

      • VAgirl says:

I think even if B were preggers, she would at least wait until the 2nd trimester to announce it (unless it gets out by accident before then). Also, I think B could handle a talk show by herself. She’s good at finding a support cast (i.e. Nick the foodie, etc.) Not with Kelly. They are both too chatty and would probably talk over each other.

        • chismosa says:

i agree, i just thought bc it’s in NY. Never was a fan of Ripa, but liked her on WWH a bit since Andy is obviously completely OBSESSED with her and her husband- but since she sort of supports Jill via the Hamptons connection and her vote for pecking order on Sunday- it’s annoying.

          • VAgirl says:

Well, everyone can’t be as good a judge of character as we are, even KR. LOL! I mean, please. did she really pick Ne Ne as her choice for a threesome with she and Mark. Ick!

          • error404 says:

IIRC when she was on during s3 she said that JIll seemed really nice in person and she was shocked at what as ass she came off as on the show. Or am I getting her confused with SJP? Either way, it seemed believable.

            • sue says:

Of course, Jill can come off great just meeting someone, but dont get to close cause thats when she “bitch slaps” ya!..Jill is fake and if shes introduced to someone she thinks can benefit her financially or otherwise, she’ll be “nice and kind” as hell to them

            • Golden Girl says:

Yes, Ripa did say she was shocked at Jills behavior on the show.

        • Zoey says:

If nothing else those two could arm wrestle! They both have some seriously toned arms.

  37. Smompy says:

Bravo had better rerun that BEA finale more than once, or else I may kick Andy Cohen in the nads. My office was like a tomb last night, ALL NIGHT, right up until I started to watch BEA, that is, and then suddenly I was swamped with phone calls, faxes and even live customers. And that hecticity (prolly not a word, huh?) kept up for exactly one hour, so I missed the whole damn show. I even stayed in the office until midnight, hoping they might rerun it then, but instead they reran the last episode of those horrible OC housewives. I’ve been in a pissy mood since then. But thank you for the great recap! That actually helped imporove my outlook a little…as did that fabulous picture of JZ looking like a total doofus. That pic made me laugh out loud, literally, for about thirty seconds.

And I never, ever thought I’d say this, but I’m actually looking forward to seeing the Jersey gals again. Knowing there will be a cast member who’s willing to step up to Low-Magnon Joo-Dice? Well, that just makes me tingle all over.

  38. Powell says:

I am so happy for Bethenny and Jason. 120M!!! Jill Z probably was on the brink of total collapse when she heard. No matter how many bedding sets she sells at Bed Bath & Beyond and no matter how Jewish Mother books she sells she will never make that kind of money. The Countess and Kelly have also had heart palpitations. The great thing about B was she had a fantastic idea and made it work in a few short years. That girl’s brand is going to keep rising. All I can say is Bravo’s parent company better find a way to stay on the Bethenny bandwagon, because she is a gold mine. Congrats to Bethenny and having everything she wants!!!!!!!

  39. HD says:

    I was just thinking…

    I don’t like Jill…I don’t read her blog.

    I don’t like Simon…I don’t read his blog.

    I don’t like the Countess…I don’t read her blog.

Hmmmm This is really very simple isn’t it?

I read Jill’ blog when people put it on this board. Does the Countess have a website or twitter? No one ever talks about her.

      • Zoey says:

They say it’s even worse to be irrelevant than hated…I wonder if Lumann could be jealous that there is an I hate Jill blog? Twisted, but they are some jealous cretins!

      • Katiecoo says:

My pal Dan Brickley of http://www.hitdanback.com fame posts to Lulu all the time these snide comments on her Facebook and she lets them stand. It’s hilarious. Then he puts them as a screen shot on his blog. LOL

  40. chismosa says:

did anyone notice that when Beth had the wifebeater on- her chest if you looked closely *and no Error & everyone who can’t stand plastic surgery talk, i’m not going to address her chest looking smaller and perkier*- but she had some sort of mark on her chest- almost an indentation / scar in the middle of her chest. I really saw it quite clearly on high def. not sure if anyone else caught that. It was quite obvious. Hope its nothing medical-wise, i’m sure it’s not.

    • VAgirl says:

I thought her chest looked smaller, but thought it must be the shirt.

      • VAgirl says:

I’m not saying anything about any type of “work” either, Error.

        • error404 says:

          LOL

she said it was because she stopped breastfeeding. is that not true?

          • quincyil says:

Breasts do get smaller after a while when you stop breast feeding. They never are the same a pre-pregnancy though.

            • Zoey says:

Actually I got a whole lot smaller after breast feeding. I was so glad! I loved having no cleavage; I could wear different types of clothes.

              • chismosa says:

just to clarify to everyone what i meant, if you watch WWH again- the mark i was referring to is not her chest size- it is literally a mark/ dimple in the dead set middle of her chest. I am not – i swear – talking about boobs here. There literally was something there, and it was quite obvious to me, that is why i asked if anyone else saw it. It has nothing to do with her boobs, in my opinion. Just a large mark. that’s all!
Sue (below)- if you see any of my posts from weeks ago on this site, i have called out B on not being *completely* truthful about her implants- it’s had some commenters take issue with me having simple questions about her being that honest but ~~not that honest?~~~ but don’t get me wrong- i’d give a kidney to Beth, Jason or Bryn if they needed one. I don’t care if she had something or not- just don’t claim to be Miss complete and total Honesty if you really aren’t. I would like a breast lift one day and chances are- they put implants in with that too!

                • BessiB says:

I read somewhere that B had implants at one time – she said she was talked into them by the Dr. to lift or something – and they were a disaster. It was said she had them removed as soon as she had the money to do so.

                  • Anne says:

Bethenny has fake boobs. She had smaller ones placed in, but they definitely fake. Whether she tells people or not is her own business, but for anyone to think she doesn’t have fake ones is just ridiculous.

                    • lovemamaearth says:

                      I agree, Anne.

And B had an odd bump the summer at Jill’s when they were in the pool.

        • sue says:

Doesn’t matter if you were saying anything like that anyway. Bethenny would have no problem telling you what she had done, Unlike some others we discuss here.

  41. dsc60 says:

just thought i’d mention that i’m watching Andy Cohen on Wendy Williams right now. she asked if the housewives of Miami were coming back and he said he hoped so. safe answer.

    • quincyil says:

That is very interesting… Andy is Bravo and if he wants them back, then Bravo is waiting for the women to sign up.

I loved Lea Black. I loved her outrageous style. I loved her foot in the mouth comments. I also like Adrianne.

One comment from Scotty Pippin’s wife, Larsa, made me laugh. She said that attractive women get men like Scotty and unattractive get an education. When I look at the girls in my daughter’s med school and residency programs, some of them were movie star beautiful.

Those women were so honest about being with men for money that it was shocking. We all know that it is true, but people don’t generally say it out loud.

      • Lavalady says:

Do you think they will all come back Q? I know Christy said at the reunion, she was disappointed in the season, as she was filmed doing many things with her children and extended family. And all that was shown on TV was the damm ticket fiasco.

        • quincyil says:

I think Christy is the one who may not return. They really did a number on her in the finale and reunion. She seems to have a lot of money so she may not need the show.

Lea and Adrienne will return. Marysol and her mom will be back. I just love her mother’s clothes. It shows you how old I am.

I think the reuinion spark from Adrienne made everyone think that this group of women have someonething of interest.

Maybe, Cat O can move to Miami. She would love the weather and Lea could introduce her to rich men.

          • chismosa says:

This is fantastic news Q- thank you! I didn’t personally really get Leah- something about her rubbed me the wrong way and also i felt that she was showing way too much (unflattering) cleavage. She looked millionsx better at the faux-reunion. Something about her, i can’t put my finger on it- plus i thought she was better suited to a Real Housewives of Dallas/ Houston rather than Miami.

I love Marysol (please Marysol revert to spelling your name the correct way as it was given to you- Marisol) and Elsa. Adoro a Elsa! And we know D’Andy loves Elsita.
So happy to hear they may return.
Chrissie didn’t bother me as much as Larsa. But Chrissie was annoying. Just Larsa was worse. We never saw any of Chrissie’s kids right? That was so odd. Everyone else we saw their kids. And i hope Marisol gets to have kids one day i think she wants them.

            • chismosa says:

Oops sorry- thanks to dsc60 – for the news, not Q.

PS- Nene is on Ellen on Wednesday everyone, and I believe Wendy W on Thursday – the guide says ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ castoff. Someone here mentioned Wendy.
Did anyone see Star on Ellen last week/ prior week? She a) looked pretty awful – i don’t know, weight gain, hairstyle- something… not sure, and b) Ellen was so obviously scared to death of her and not really liking her despite Star trying super hard to be funny and light-hearted (and failing IMO)

From the article: Slade makes $418 a month in 2010 and no money in 2009.
He had to pay $4,000 a month in child support.

I think he has given up.

Gretchen defended him on her blog, but I think she is disturbed by his failure to find work also.

Sometimes, you have to change careers.

Peggy Tanous’s husband is in trouble too.

These people are all spending a lot of money. I hope Bravo pays well.

      • AZ Girl says:

There is no reason for him NOT work. He has a roof over his head thanks to Gretchen and she is also providing income. So most of it would go to child support. Why not work and try and do what is right by your children.

        • WindyCityWondering says:

ITA – Slade has to get a job, his children need to be supported! Following Gretchen around is not a job.

          • Okie Folkie says:

What I dont get about this entire situation is WHY cant Slimy petition the court for a lower amount than $4,000.
            G. said something about it to her hair doin’ dude before the Dinner party. But, it didnt make a lot of sense to me.

            G. sez that she wants him to be able to pay the hospital bills before the child support, to ensure Grayson’s medical bills are paid. HUH?
Wouldnt the child support go towards the medical bills?

Seems like he has let his lack of any “real” job be his excuse not to even TRY to do anything for money. Well, other than follow G. around with her bags.

            • Adgirl says:

The judge won’t lower the amount because he doesn’t think Slade tries to get a permanent professional job. Slade has been gaming the courts and been caught doing things like driving with a revoked license. That pisses judges off.
Slade doesn’t have to work in the mortgage or real estate industry. I know people who sell matresses and earn 6 figures.

I think if Slade showed the judge that he seriously wants to contribute to his son’s care financially the judge will back down.

        • AZ Girl says:

Gretchen marries Slade she may be liable but I don’t know about California law. It is a community property state. I think Gretchen keeps Slade around to make her relevant in Housewives storyline. She is using him as much as he is using her.

        • Mookies1mom says:

I think it’s possible he works for pay under the table. But he needs to pay his child support and help with his son’s medical bills.

      • TLM says:

I’d love to know the details about these supposed “brand consulting” jobs he has had, and how he was able to get high-level brand consulting jobs after being in the MORTGAGE industry? Umm…huh??!!?

        • WindyCityWondering says:

they all make up jobs, exceot Vicki cause she works

        • Okie Folkie says:

I was thinking that too, TLM! I was also, thinkin’ his Ex had her Attorney on speed dial last night.
He ADMITTED was is Earning Money with alla these a..hem… “JOBS” & “CLIENTS” he had/has….I mean wasnt that a tad bit DDUUUMMMBBBB?

And ANOTHER THANG, What is it that takes up his TIME?
He hasnt the time to work out, to stay in good shape and be healthy, for the woman he loves so much.
Yet, in his talking heads he just SEZ he is sooo busy…(Living of G. takes a lotta time.)

2nd: My brother-in-law was just added to the heart transplant list. . . I’m not really religious so I can use all the help I can get here. He is one of the greatest people I have ever met and I am not ready to lose him.

Find comfort that love doesn’t die. I’m not particularly religious either, but I am WALKING proof (due to a serious spinal cord injury) that medical “miracles” do occur. A dear friend of mine recently received a new lung too. Please remember that getting ONTO a transplant list is the end of the road hopelessness and the beginning point onto the boulevard of hope. Best wishes sweet lady, best wishes.

Great blog Lynn. I have to say I cried several times last night watching BEA. I also teared up reading your blog. I am just so thrilled for her and want the best for Bethenny and her family. I will miss her show as it truly is the best on Bravo.

  47. Nancy says:

The promo that we saw last night during BEA of Jill’s meltdown saying/crying
“I can’t believe that she did this to me again!”
Did Ramona throw Jill out of her party, again? And of course LuMan is at her side wiping Jill’s tears. Blah blah blah. Oh ya did you hear that Jill’s book is on the best sellers list “All over the world!” Speechless!
When I was watching Bethenny’s show last night I kept thinking about Jill. How will she react to this? As much as I can’t stand this woman I hope she has some kind of support system going on.

    • Kukulet says:

I’m not sure the bestseller list of the Nifty Nickel supermarket handout in Tonopah, Nevada counts as “all over the world”, but whatever, Jill. Keep telling yourself that you are a bestselling “author”. You’re the only one who believes it, so it really doesn’t matter how many times you say it.

She’s so far beyond even unlikable now, it’s just sad.

    • Christine says:

Nancy, she actually says that she is a best seller? Would love to see that – do you have a link?

      • Nancy says:

I read it on a link from yesterday. (Lynn’s blog) Some Mother’s magazine.
Anyone remember? Jill is delusional. For real.

        • Christine says:

Saying something over and over doesn’t make it true even for Jill. I Know. For years I have stood in front of my mirror saying “I am Catherine Zeta-Jones.” Still hasn’t happened.

    • butterisafruit says:

Kotagirl, I’m very sorry for both you and your friend. I am whispering special prayers for your Brother In Law. I’ve spent the better part of the last 10 months talking to different medical teams in hospitals. (for my husband) I learned how to get immediate information without bothering those poor overworked nurses Each patient has a Case Manager. The Case Manager works with the doctors, nurses, labs, eventially they are the ones who approve the discharge and where the patient will go. Such as rehab, home, hospice etc.
They are fantastic. They know you are nervous and anxious. If they are authorized to talk to you. They will walk you through this. In our case I made sure my step children could inquire regarding their dad. What they did though was nominate their oldest brother to do all the questions. Which was good.
In the morning call the nurses desk on the floor and ask if he has a case manager or liaison to help explain his situation. If it’s a good hospital they’ll know what you mean.

    • quincyil says:

The truth is they sometimes don’t know even though they run tests. Years ago, they would say medicine is an art, not a science. It’s true even today with all of the machines and the treatments. Some people respond to one treatment and others do not.

Our bodies are fragile. Our strength is in our ability to understand the needs of those that we love and to be there for them when they need us. Our strength is in our abilty to love and to accept love.

You are intelligent and caring. Think about what you can do to help those your care about. By helping others, you will feel better.

      Trust me,

  51. tuxido joe says:

What prompted me to come to this site to post a comment was reading Jill’s blog when she returned to New York from her Australian trip. She really is never going to change. She says her revelation will cause her never to gossip again, and that she has changed. Yet she continues to spew her venom. What’s with the negative words about Ramona? Ramona is Ramona and she has never changed from who she was from the beginning. I have learned to accept her lack of brain-to-mouth filter and have learned to realize that while she does say some hurtful things, she doesn’t actually mean to be hurtful because she wants to “help”…and she sincerely apologizes. Ramona is not a hypocrite. She’s just a little wonky. Jill and Luann, on the other hand, are intolerable people who think much too highly of themselves and their preceived elevated social position. Money will never transform Jill into a lady, and an useless, inconsequential title will never give Luann the class she thinks she has. Sonja may have been a part of New York’s elite, but the divorce demoted her to a different social level…and if she continues her misbehaviors, she will get another demotion.
To me Alex is a sane person who has just had enough insults thrown at her by Jill and Luann, and now Alex. Alex is doing what she can to cope with everyday life to make ends meet, like most of the population in the United States. This stint with Brave is probably just a way to add to her finances. I don’t believe she’s a famewhore, but rather someone who can capitalize on her celebrity when she markets her books, and whatever else she markets. I just wish she had bigger canojes so that she can tell Jill and Luann how lowdown and common they truly are. Also, neither Jill nor Luann are nearly as intelligent or mannerly as Alex is.

(Thanks for letting me get this off my chest.)

Last night’s final episode of Bethenny’s show was enjoyable. I am happy that she has surrounded herself with positive, people who sincerely love her. Jason and his parents are wonderful people, and Julie is the ultimate friend and supporter to Bethenny. What makes it all too real is that they all know Bethenny’s faults, foibles and insecurities, and they continue to love and support her in most positive ways. She is one lucky (and very shril woman who deserves the best things in life that she has worked for. She didn’t marry for money (as Jill and Sonja did), and she didn’t marry someone with a title for social status (like Luann did – Sonja, too, but rather than a title she married a name – the JP Morgan name).

I have a great deal of respect for Bethenny and Ramona. Their personalities may be be a little out of focus sometimes, but that makes them more relatable and human. Both both of them are self-made, strong, fearless, intelligent, no phony-balony women and that’s what endears them to me.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Completely OT but had to share this. Micheale Salahi has come out with a single “Bump It”. She says that Oprah planted the idea when O commented on Michaele’s voice at Pres. Obama’s inauguration. Don’t know what Oprah’s comment was as MS didn’t clarify but I imagine it went something like this “If your skinny gate-crashing ass croaks out one more sound I will personally carry you outta here!”

I am simply amazed that the slimy salami’s are even still an issue. If I were them I’d leave the country and try to start fresh – the further away the better. How can they show their faces in public whatsoever???

Michaele always comes up with the dumbest lies-and they’re usually easy to debunk. Like “I was a Washington Redskins Cheerleader”, etc.

For one, why and how would Oprah have heard Michaele’s voice at Obama’s inauguration? That’s an odd claim for even Michaele to make. It’s been a while, but I don’t recall Michaele delivering a speech on the dais. And if she did manage to sneak into one of the inaugural balls, I can’t imagine that Oprah would hear Michaele’s nasal voice and compliment her on it.

She and Tarq deserve each other. Those two have no equals when it comes to media whores.

Bethenny was right for believing to not stay “in the party” for long time… She is the most famous and she did 3 RHONY Seasons and left in the best moment! Jill introduced her to RhoNY and Jill gave her the best reasons to not stay there for longer than she did. Thanks, Jill- Live and Learn.

      • Nancy says:

        error,
Did you watch our “FBB” tonight? They are having problems:(

  54. Nancy says:

I’m watching Pier Morgan CNN interview Chelsea Handler (from E!) and she reminds me so much of Bethenny. I wonder if they have ever met? I think they would like each other.

  55. AZ Girl says:

Just finished re-watching last nights final episode and I got to thinking….. what person’s has Bethenny introduce to us as fans that are now part of her life? Cookie, Jason, Bryn, Jason’s parents, Julie, Max, Gina, Dawa, Nick the Foodie guy, the party planning guy (who I can’t remember his name) and last night we were introduced to Jackie the other assistant.

Who has Jill introduced to us as fans in past 4 seasons? Bobby, Alyson, Ginger, Gloria, Lisa, and Brad the gay husband who is now banished.

Tell me who would you want to “hang” with?

    • VAgirl says:

hmmmm, let me think …… lol

    • Nancy says:

I liked Bethenny’s hair dresser. Remember he fixed B up with his good looking friend. Bethenny told him that she was a great “ball buster”. English wasn’t his first language so it didn’t translate well but it was really funny. I wonder if they ever had a second date ?

    • Okie Folkie says:

I dont Tweet or anything, but I hope someone will tweet this to Bethenny. I think she would enjoy this as much as we have.
      Very well stated AZGirl.

    • Zoey says:

Answer: Duh! You know when we look back on seasons 1 and 2 of Jill’s behavior, I don’t know if it is that we really liked her so much or that together with Bethenny she looked better. I think B made brought out the only tiny bits of friendship or sisterhood in Jill. B made her look better, and brought out the temporary good in Jill.

Jill still did snide things but it wasn’t so pronounced since Silex seemed so far out, Ramona was a bit out there, and Kelly was cuckoo. We were distracted, and it was all so new to us.

Bethenny was the equalizer! We could tolerate more crap and evil with her wit and heart around. Without the equalizer of good and funny, all we have left is…..this season.

just posting something i should have posted down here as it is so late:
as to my earlier comment asking if anyone saw the mark on Bethenny’s chest during WWH- in the middle of her chest- not her actual boobs:
just to clarify to everyone what i meant, if you watch WWH again- the mark i was referring to is not her chest size- it is literally a mark/ dimple in the dead set middle of her chest.
I would like a breast lift one day and chances are- they put implants in with that too!

also re-posting not sure if mentioned and if anyone is interested to know:

Nene is on Ellen on Wednesday everyone, and I believe Wendy W on Thursday – the guide says ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ castoff.

    • Zoey says:

That’s pretty funny. NeNe is a cast off (hm, new reality show. Put reality show cast offs on an island together…) and picturing Ellen afraid of Star is comical.

      • chismosa says:

it’s really quite interesting if you watched it. Star was literally trying so hard to be likeable and light-mannered with the audience and it was failing supremely. Ellen i truly think does not like her. I hope she gives Nene a chance and is nice with her (sorry but i love Nene)

Kota- i hope you are ok- your posts were worrisome. Best to you

Oh wow, you’re throwing in Dwight? Good but scary idea. Maybe add Gary Busey to confuse things!

I’m sure KooKoo is twirling her hair like crazy over B doing a cleanse

I wonder if it would work on RSD?

      • Zoey says:

Thanks so much Katie. I do go to therapy and she works on a lot of trigger points. I usually feel horrible for a few days after, can’t tell if it helps or not overall.
It doesn’t improve the fatigue, though. I thought there must be some supplements or something out there, or centers I could go to. Hard to find legit info; it’s all so new, and so vague.

To the IHJZ Family. . .and I do mean FAMILY! I have just gone through one of the worst days of my life and when I asked, what some would call a group of strangers, for help I was overwhelmed by the outpouring of support that I found here. I have read, and written, posts to others who are suffering in some way, but I can honestly say that it means so much when you are on the receiving end. The concern and kindness I have found here far surpasses anything I have ever experienced before. I was sitting here crying because I have lost a wonderful woman in my life and because I am worried about losing a man as important to me as a father, but now I am crying because I am overcome by the love that I have found on this “hate” blog. Words cannot express how much your kindness has meant to me. The people that gather here have demonstrated, to a virtual stranger, empathy and a generosity of spirit that I did not think could be found any longer. I cannot thank you enough for your support and concern; it really has meant more than you will ever know. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU! I will go to bed tonight knowing that there really are still good people in this world and that they can sometimes be found in the least likely places. To say thank you seems so insufficient, but thank you all so much, you will never know how much your support means to me.

I’m so sorry for the loss of your friend and what your brother-in-law is facing. I hope you can find some answers to your questions. Just remember to take care of yourself otherwise you won’t be doing anyone any good. Reach out to friends and family for support. We all are sending you prayers, hugs and hopefully the knowledge that we are here for you. Please let us know how you are doing.

I’ll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Grief can be so overwhelming–both from a loss and the fear of the next loss. There are days that it hits me so hard knowing that my older family members are slipping away.

Please take care of yourself and continue to let us know how you’re doing.

Christine, I hope you were able to get some rest last night after your tumultuous day. Deepest condolences to your friend. We are also sitting here on pins and needles waiting for a great woman to lose her fight with cancer after six years (my close cousin’s best friend)…only 52 years young. It’s such a horrible disease. How this woman has hung on this long is beyond me.
Keeping fingers crossed for your brother in law also…I have faith a donor will be found….

      {{{Christine}},
I feel your loss and the fear you have of losing another important person in your life. If you haven’t anyone you can talk to and are feeling overwhelmed, please take the advice given above. Contact the hospital, case manager and find a support group. Even if you don’t share your feelings right away, simply attending and listening can go a long way in helping to relieve some of the pain, stress and dealing with the unknown. My thoughts are with you and your family. Please continue to post and let us know how you’re feeling. We’re here to listen and offer any support that we can.

      • 2Stupid says:

        Christine,
I am so happy you have found something to give you strength. I have seen this blog be a great resource form support so many times. I have had experience with transplant patients many times (personal friends and family) and can tell you it can be a very bumpy road. The advice you were given regarding seeking the case manager is very sound advice. Try and focus on time you have with your loved one vs. what is going to happen next. Someimes it is very difficult, but the best thing you can do is remain in the present.
I will keep you in my prayers!!!!!

I wonder if Jill, Kelly got a good look at the Skinny Girl bus I know Bethenney is over the Jill and Kelly and lulu scene but I would love to see that bus parked outside one of their houses. I would love to be a fly on the wall and see them throw a fling their bodies on the floor kicking and screaming like a two year old.

  70. Ginger says:

This is a refreshing conversation happening right now, usually everyone is saying I hate Jill Zarin. Do people that say that realize it has a lot to do with editing and the show setting people up, like putting Jill and Bethany together when they don’t expect to see each other? I just don’t see why everyone blames everything on Jill.

    • kotagirl29 says:

Bravo can’t edit it what isn’t there. She is two-faced. She claims to have changed, that she is owning her behavior, that she doesn’t want to gossip about people, and the whole time she is saying all that her other face is busy doing the exact opposite. If she is really owning her behavior she will stop trying to blame everyone and everything else for her actions. Take her feet out of both her mouths and own it. A little humility and human kindness would go a loooooong way.
