I Hate Jill Zarin Pregnant in Heels / Oprah Farewell Celebration

Pregnant in Heels by Quincy IL

The conversation in Rosie Pope’s store is confusing for Rosie, LT (her assistant,) and for the viewers.  LT says that he wants to make children gag.  When he walks into a room, he wants people to be shocked.  At least that is what I think he meant because I am confused like Rosie.

Rosie is in the limousine when Hannah calls and shares about Diana who is having her second child in 6 weeks and feels she needs another apartment.  Diana is from the South and her husband, Ashley, has an English accent. They live on the Upper West Side with Khloe, who is 15 months old. They have a 2 bedroom apartment.

Ashley feels that the two little girls can share a room.  Diana is infuriated that he will not let her move into a larger apartment.  Diana feels claustrophobic.

Diana meets with Rosie alone because she wants Rosie to convince Ashley to let Diana move before the baby is born.  This week’s Mommy IQ test question is: “What do you do if your toddler hits the baby?” The answer is:  You tend to the baby and then speak to the toddler.

Diana is afraid that she will not be able to give her second child the same that she gave Khloe.  Rosie explains to us in an interview that this is a common worry of parents about to have a second child.

Rosie does the home inspection and the nursery is small.  She will give Diana and Ashley two options: a new apartment and redesigning the nursery for two little girls.

Rosie is back in the limousine for her second call from Hannah.  Rebecca is a stay at home mom with two children and a baby on the way.  Pricilla, Rebecca’s daughter from a previous relationship is around 5 and she has a baby brother whose father is Patrick, Rebecca’s husband, who is one.

Rebecca is a 32 year old cougar married to 24 year old Patrick. Rebecca is an opera singer and Patrick is a nutritionist who works from early morning to late in the evening.  Patrick was under so much stress that he ate and gained 80lbs. He exercised that weight off, but withdraws when Rebecca begins to complain that he is gone all of the time and she is raising the children alone. The pregnancy was not planned.  Rebecca’s fetus is 33 weeks old.

Rosie starts to listen to Rebecca when Patrick walks out and tells everyone that Rosie is not a counselor. Rosie realizes that this couple is dysfunctional so she will bring a professional to help them deal with their issues. Debbie, the therapist, asks the couple about their likes and dislikes. Patrick feels he is not respected. Rebecca feels abandoned, but she won’t allow Patrick to help her with the children because she wants control. Patrick doesn’t feel that Rebecca loves him and at that point Rebecca becomes quiet.

Debbie asks them to listen to each other and repeat each other’s words so they know they are listening to each other.  Rosie feels that they both need personal time and she has a plan to help them with this.

Diana and Ashley meet with Rosie and a real estate agent to look at apartments.  One is in Battery Park near and expressway.  Ashley finds fault with the white noise of the highway and can’t get over the fact the apartment has carpeting. Diana says that Ashley thinks she is being selfish, but she would feel better if she had more space.  The apartment is 3 million dollars.  Another apartment in a penthouse has outdoor space and is 5.4 million dollars. This is the apartment of Diana’s dreams.

Rosie brings James, an interior designer who specialized with space management to the apartment of Diana to find a way to redesign her current space. She explains why she has to move, but James claims he can help her meet her goals in the apartment that she is now in.

Rosie tells Diana that moving at this point would mean uprooting Khloe, her toddler daughter,  when so many changes about to happen to her soon.

Rosie takes Rebecca to an opera house where a voice couch and pianist wait on stage. Rebecca has not sung in years, but she is incredibly talented. She performs for Rosie and Bravo viewers. She had a wonderful time.

Patrick meets with a physical trainer in Central Park where they exercise and Patrick learns some breathing exercises for stress management.

Rosie goes to Diana’s home to find out what the couple decided to do with their apartment issues. Diana says that Ashley won. Rosie says in an interview that Diana is saying that she lost.  They will remodel their nursery and stay in this apartment. James has to please Diana since she is going to want everything to be perfect. The reason Diana gave in is she did not want to cause stress for Khloe so Rosie’s comment helped her find a way to give in to Ashley.

Rebecca and Patrick are getting along better and beginning to help each other.  Rebecca tells us in an interview that some couples look picture perfect, but no one is. She says change is hard.

Diana and Ashley return to their home to find the nursery is now painted in purple and pink. There is a space for Khloe and Lola.  The room is beautiful.  There is a day bed that grandma will use when she visits. The new baby will sleep in her parents’ room for a while to help Khloe sleep as the baby will be up at night.

Rosie and her husband go to the doctor for an ultrasound.  She has taken hormones, but not started the IVF, but she feels pregnant and she is. The baby is in the uterus and is healthy. It’s a miracle and both parents feel blessed.

Rosie visits Rebecca, Patrick and Jacob, their new baby who is amazingly calm.  Rebecca will take opera classes.  Patrick was great at the hospital and he’s trying to be a good husband and father.

Rosie visits Diana to meet Lola and her big sister Khloe.  Diana has adjusted, but Rosie is willing to help them find a larger apartment when they have another child.

Thanks Quincy!  Great job as always!

I think many of you have seen this already and I believe Jill Zarin even commented on it, I find it hysterical that we’re not the only ones who are noticing how transparent Jill and her 2 fans have become.

Oprah Winfrey at the United Center

I’ve been to the United Center more times than I can count, my Chicago Blackhawks play there, our own Chicago Bulls play there but last night even the NBA had to rearrange their schedule as the Chicago Bull’s playoffs had to wait.

Chicago’s own Ms. Oprah Winfrey needed the venue.  I was lucky enough to be offered a ticket at the last-minute for a very good seat in the stadium.  The person who was supposed to be in my seat has absolutely nothing against Oprah, he simply preferred to spend the evening at home – actually I think his exact words were, “I’d rather have root canal”.  No recording devices were allowed and I was told that no cameras were allowed either but of course some people used their cell phones to take photos.  I obeyed the rules, dang it!  I really missed having my camera!

Under every seat was a box of tissues, I’ve never seen so many limos in one place in my life.  There were busses and trolly’s to take people from their hotels to the venue, the show started almost an hour later than originally scheduled but it was worth every second.

Oprah Winfrey is an icon, a true icon and I was so impressed by the show that her producers put together.  The sun shined down on Chicago yesterday, unfortunately a whole lot of celebrities are waking up this morning to a gloomy, cold and rainy day in our fair city.

Tom Hanks, Tom Cruise and Will / Jada Pinkett Smith all acted as MC’s throughout the evening.  Beyonce did a great song, she’s so beautiful but none more beautiful than Halle Berry, she was absolutely stunning.

Jerry Seinfield did a hysterical (and not mushy) stand up act that was perfect for the evening.  Most of the celebrities spoke so beautifully (but most were scripted) about Oprah and what she has meant to not only women, but the whole world over the past 25-years.   There was a whole lot of crying going on.

Stevie Wonder, Patti LaBelle, Usher and Josh Groban all sang wonderful songs in honor of the lady of the hour.  (actually 4 hours)  For a Chicagoan like me, Michael Jordan’s appearance really touched me because it was clear that he truly adored Oprah and she was surprised and delighted to see him.   I don’t want to give it all away and obviously the four hours will be edited down to two and will air next week, I’m told.   The stories are all over the internet and the news so I’m sure you’ll all know every guest that was there before long, there’s no way to keep it a secret when there were 15,000 people in one place including the press.

Maria Shriver was there and spoke very elequently about Ms. Oprah, she made no mention of her personal problems but I don’t think anyone expected her to do that.

Interestingly absent was John Travolta who was rumored to be there but wasn’t, now the assumption is that he will appear on her very final show being taped in the studio under high security secrecy.

I’ve never been so tired in my life, it was a long day to begin with and then the show didn’t end until just about 11:30pm and the United Center is a long way from home but all night I kept thinking all night that I couldn’t wait to tell you guys all about it.  It was incredible!

I had to write a quick few paragraphs about it, I’ll try to fill in more details soon.

Until Next Time….

  1. NJ Bev says:

    Good Morning everyone.

  2. NJ Bev says:

    Hey Lynn,
While it’s still quiet I wanted to take a moment and thank-you, once again,
(but never enough) for the great blog. Thanks also to Quincy for all the support
she provides you. Also greatly appreciate all the info provided.
    never a dull moment here.
    Thank-you both so much.

  3. NJ Bev says:

Quincy, do you ever sleep? PIH is not for me, can’t handle the
demanding mothers. I think because I had so much trouble with
trying to get pregnant, I have no tolerance for these women-
In my book they are already so lucky to be with child, that hearing
them b-tch about it really pisses me off!
this episode sounded ridiculously confusing–I don’t know
how you do it-but thanks again for all the time and effort you
put into re-capping these shows for us. You are appreciated.
I still don’t know how you ever get any sleep-

  4. quincyil says:

I do sleep. I have an early day. I’ve always been a morning person.

    • NJ Bev says:

when do you do the re-cap? after the show airs or in the morning?
How long does it take you to write the average re-cap? do you DVR
it and then write it. You must have this down to a science(a good subject
      for you!)
sorry ’bout all the questions, I’m practicing my interviewing skills
so I’m ready when Oprah retires.
      lol

      • quincyil says:

I watch the show at night but I go into it 15 minutes late and skip the commercials. I take notes and immediately write so it is fresh in my mind. In the morning I proof read and publish.

Sometimes Lynn has a draft for me to include and sometimes I have saved information that I add to the post.

A lot of the information that I have comes from fellow commenters on the board so I save their names and give them credit for the finds.

Lynn does all of the housewives blogs. Her vacation is almost over so I will soon just be blogging the blogs she assigns to me as I did a while ago.

I am Lynn’s 21 year old unpaid intern fresh out of college…
        Shush…. don’t tell her that I am a 58 year old grandma…..

        Q

        • NJ Bev says:

I don’t think a 21 yr old intern would have the
same worth ethnic as you. 🙂

          • HD says:

            Right. Look at Ashley.

            • quincyil says:

I think she dropped out. LOL

I worked hard in college too. It comes from being the oldest of 7 siblings with a mother who worked long hours to bring home the bacon. You have to be organized in order to survive.

            • Kellita says:

Ashley makes me nuts. My husband has taken the train from the suburbs to the city to work for the past 20 yrs. He puts in a 12 hour day with commuting, and never complains.

Ashley is such a spoiled little princess!

              • error404 says:

Not that I’m defending Ashley, who pretty awful, butt….

Apples: Now I’m middle aged and live in the burbs and take a 40 min train into the city by choice.

Oranges: When I got out of college and had my first job, I lived at my parents for free for 3 months and took a 40 min bus into the city everyday for work. MY bff had gotten a loan from his parents for the first month and deposit on an apt in the city and I asked my parents to do the same. But they said no, this was a good lesson for me to learn how to save up for what I want instead of borrowing and then being in dept. I was furious and thought they were selfish and mean! LOL I was a kid and having to take the last bus at 11:00pm on a fri night while my co workers all stayed out parting and imploring me to stay seemed like cruel and unusual punishment. LOL

  5. HD says:

I just cannot watch this show however I am glad Rosie is pregnant and that all is well with her baby.

    • boston02127 says:

I don’t watch it either, I can’t stand when grown couples hire someone to help pick a name for their kids or other stupid things like that. If you can’t pick a baby name chances are you should’nt be having a baby in the first place.
If picking a baby name is so hard, imagine how they handle real problems in life. Not for nothing….I’ve had my future kids names picked out when I was 12.

I watch The Fab Beekman Boys last night.

      • NJ Bev says:

        OOOO—
I really want to ask what they are! I really do!
But I won’t. Because many people don’t want to
tell until the time-so I won’t ask. But if you just
happen to feel like “dropping” some names,
        I won’t mind. 🙂

        • boston02127 says:

I like the name Riley for a girl and she will have my mothers name for her middle name. For a boy I like the name Christian, but not nick named Chris. His middle name would be after my maiden name.

If I have twins (I’m a twin) I won’t name them with close names like my brother and me. His name is Shane and I’m Shanna. People always mistake my name for Shana. Mine is Shanna like banana.

          • vilzvet says:

Love the name Christian, I have a cousin (he’s a twin!) with that name and he has always been Christian, never anything else. We’re Italian and all the boys use their full names, Thomas, Louis, Michael, you get it…
Oh, so it’s not SHAYna, but Shanna, got it. That must be frustrating at times.

            • NJ Bev says:

love those names, esp. Riley and
              Shana like banana.

              • Okie Folkie says:

I have a 17 y.o. niece with the name of Riley. So far she seems to like her name very much indeed.
She, too has more ‘traditional’ middle name.

I wish you every luck in getten your Christian and Riley!

          • Rabble Rouser says:

I like the name Riley for a girl too. I actually had it on the list for our second daughter but DH didn’t really care for it. (What does he know anyway 😉 )

          • BlueSky_Forever says:

Boston, love those names! And here’s hoping they will all be “living the life of Riley” which back in the day people used to say meaning “living the easy life” in a good way.

  6. boston02127 says:

Good morning. Thx for the recap Quincy.

    • Kellita says:

      They’re both nauseating, imho.

I don’t feel one bit sorry for Teresa. She’s had a hard year because of being selfish, entitled and dishonest. Any hardships she has now are her own fault.

I have to admit it feels good to me to see Melissa & Joe dis’ her, because the Manzos were always excusing her with a fond, “That’s just Teresa.”

But on the other hand, I’m not liking the Gorgas too much. The jurys still out for me on them. I’m just thanking the good Lord that I’m not related to any of them. My family may have its stuff, but we’ve never had a drunken brawl at a Christening. (Eye roll)

    • cdnfillie58 says:

It looked like Tre and Juicy and family were seated at a table far away from the rest of the family. I mean her parents were sitting at what looked like the “Head Table” along with Melissa’s family. Looked like a snub to me and she didn’t like it. But I did 😛

Kelsey Grammer Trying To Take Custody Of Kids Away From Camille!
    Details On How She’s Dealing
    http://www.hollywoodlife.com/2011/05/17/kelsey-grammer-custody-battle-camille-grammer/

    • HD says:

I never understood why parents felt it was okay to slice up a family like pie. These kids go to school in CA, they have friends and I am sure stability there. When you go through a divorce things need to remain as much the same as they can for kids. Kelsy needs to get over himself for a minute. He made his choice, which is fine. However there are always consequences with his choice. Unless Camille is truly crazy, the kids should be left with her and he can share joint custody and perhaps different holidays and summer vacation time. You don’t just uproot kids because you wanted to bang a young stewardess. (Sorry this is just how I feel. It’s early. No one rain down on me.)

        • Kukulet says:

          ITA too.

C’mon, Kelsey-if you and Camille have issues, then work them out between the two of you. Don’t drag the kids into the battle, and don’t uproot them.

        • NJ Bev says:

I totally agree. I thought the kids were both
their biological kids, but even if not so-he has no
right to uproot them. What a selfish thing to
do. I always liked him, and was no great fan of
Camille-but now, I think he is a selfish pig.
Why would he do something like this?

          • PJ says:

Camille said on a show, don’t remember which one, that the children were their biological children.

          • nathania says:

I think because of the ‘four nannies’ thing.

Because she probably is not all that into being a parent, from the sounds of it.

      • WindyCityWondering says:

ITA – Kelsey didn’t think about those kids when he was in NYC creating a new life. He seems to be a serial sperm donor. While I don’t know what kind of father he is I do know that Camille is the one providing those children with love and routine. He is a tool.

        • cdnfillie58 says:

Camille may be providing those children with love and routine but do you really need 4 nannies?

      • quincyil says:

Speaking of crumbling families. Governor Schwartzenegger did do something wrong. As the unofficial pretend soothsayer or of the IHJZ board, I suggested that he did something a few days ago when the news came out. Having a 10 year old child with a married member of the household staff is something wrong.

It seems the family trusted this woman and Arnold for 20 years, but Arnold and this woman didn’t deserve their trust.

I don’t know how old Maria’s kids are, but some have to be young enough to be living with their parents. Now, I hope the 10 year old doesn’t have problems. The man who raised the child as his own, will be upset and may reject the child. Not a good situation for anyone.

        • housewifeaddict says:

21, 19, 17 and 13. The love child is rumored to be 14.

          • twoile says:

@hwa, The reported Mother of the child age14, is named in the UK Daily Mail….I’ve had prob linking to this newspaper so I won’t to protect this site…Tx Q & Lynn 4 all ur work!!!

          • Jennifer says:

His children are 22, 20,18 and 14…… The women and Maria were pregnant at same time

he told Maria in Jan, they’ve been split since then

        • lillybee says:

It seems that this all came out when he fired her last month.

          • nathania says:

            uh….oops.

            people are so stupid.

i wonder why ahnuld didn’t buy her silence.

      • floridagirl88 says:

Call me a cynic, but I’m guessing he wants the kids because the new wife may be having trouble conceiving again. Otherwise, it seems cruel and manipulative to grab the kids. Sounds like punishment, but for what?

        • Rabble Rouser says:

He wants them because then he doesn’t have to pay Camille CS- and she will have to pay him. He’s trying to take the sting out of not having a pre-nup.

    • housewifeaddict says:

Unless there is a reason to take those kids away from Camille – this just shows Kelsey as the scumbag he is. There is no reason why they can’t have joint custody – and if his career is over in LA then he’ll have to be the one that figures out how to make it all work. It’s probably about child support.

They are filming BH now. I wonder if this will be part of Camille’s story line.

      • kotagirl29 says:

Most courts will not approve uprooting children from schools, friends, extended family, and their normal routine because one parent has moved. The environment has to be deemed unhealthy or dangerous before the court will consider such a change.

    • cusi77 says:

Is there an option “None of the above”?

      • cusi77 says:

Ooops! This was for vote for Teresa or Melissa. How it finished here? Well, it is official that I dislike Kelsey with “Odio Jarocho!”

I heard on the news today that Arnold’s love child is 14.

  8. boston02127 says:

Is anyone else tired of Oprah’s long good bye? Seems she’s been saying bye for about a yr now.

    • quincyil says:

      and…she’s not going anywhere.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

My husband’s usual driver had Maria Shriver on a charter yesterday. He saw Modonna, Tom Cruise and a bunch of other Oprah favorites being dropped off for the big finale. It is almost over and then she is on to bigger and better things.

      • VAgirl says:

Good morning, everyone. Thanks for the PIH recap, Quincy. I don’t watch for all the reasons stated above. Kelsey Grammer is a selfish pig and I hope he has a very very good reason for wanting to uproot his two kids and create even more chaos in their lives. The hubs and I were discussing who we thought might be on Oprah’s las show and he guess Tom Cruise for sure. I had heard Maria Shriver was going to be on there, too. I never watched her show when she had celebrities on there because they were always up each other’s butts so far they couldn’t see daylight. Can’t stand all that fawning like they are all so special or something.

        • Kukulet says:

I’ve never been a fan of Maria Shriver-to be honest, I never followed her at all-but I feel for her right now. I don’t know all the circumstances, but considering that he has gone public with a confession and an apology, it does look like her husband handed her some pretty shoddy treatment-and it just ain’t right. No wife and mother of long standing deserves to be betrayed and humiliated, especially on a global scale.

Shame on you, Arnold. You never would have achieved half of what you achieved in the last quarter century if Maria hadn’t had your back.

          • quincyil says:

Why did this come out after 10 years? Someone must have guessed something was up.

            • Kukulet says:

My guess is that it went down like this: Maria found out somehow, and decided to leave Arnold. The first rumors of the pending separation sparked the tabloids into whipping out their checkbooks and start snooping around-and they quickly found someone who was willing to talk. So Arnold, knowing it was going to become public, had to blow the whistle on himself, as the only preemptive move he had left.

              • quincyil says:

The long time employee no longer worked for them. I think Maria might have fired her and then the information flowed out.

                • Okie Folkie says:

I’ve “heard” it a couple of different ways….1st) was that the L.A. Times (or other local paper) had the story and called Arnold to get a comment, but even if he didnt wanna comment the paper was going to run the story.

The 2nd) story was the “housekeeper”/”staffer” was gonna come out with the story.

I have no clue which is true, if either version is true.

But TMZ does have pics of the mother of the child.
I was thinking she would be some young, sweet hottie. Yeah, not so much.

      • BlueSky_Forever says:

Arnold is a total pig. Maria helped him get elected governor of CA & this is the thanks she gets. This article has pictures of the housekeeper…

        http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1388212/Mildred-Baena-Mother-Arnold-Schwarzeneggers-lovechild-revealed.html

        • Rabble Rouser says:

I don’t see how Maria helped Arnold get elected, while she might have sat beside him on the campaign route, one has a democrat following while the other is a republican.

          • BlueSky_Forever says:

When all the buzz about how Arnold was groping women (gropergate) came out, Maria stood by him. She gave speeches talking about what a great guy he was. She absolutely helped him get elected!

            • Rabble Rouser says:

Meh- no more than any other wife on a campaign travel. Her ‘Kennedy’ connections didn’t really add to his appeal the same way her endorsing Obama helped him secure the democrat vote.

            • BlueSky_Forever says:

The worst part of the Arnold mess is how he has treated his wife of what, 25 years? What a betrayal. Maria may have known about his womanizing, but having the baby mama in her house for 14 years after the birth of the child…there are no words. Maria is so much better off without him IMO. Another thing Wendy Williams said on her show is that Arnold vetoed the marriage bill for gays in CA 2 times because he thought it would “ruin the institution of marriage.” Arnold = scum.

Since I have been watching Oprah longer than you have been alive,
little Boston (God that hurts to say-) I will sheepishly say, I will
      miss my Oprah.
I felt the same way when Johnny Carson retired(I Know, most of
you don’t even know who he was!) I was upset for years!!!!

      • quincyil says:

I remember watching he when her show was first on in Chicago.

      • boston02127 says:

I like Oprah and I’ll miss her too. The goodbye just seems to be going on and on.

      • VAgirl says:

I miss Johnny Carson, but will not miss Oprah so much. I don’t get all the fuss over her to be honest. She’s definitely smart and has built an empire for herself, but I’m not sure why people revere her so. Just don’t see it personally. She had a rough childhood and overcame a lot. I see that. But so have a lot of people. I hope she does a lot more philanthropic type activities now that she doesn’t have a daily talk show. She has more money than she could ever spend in a lifetime, so use more of it for good and forget about making more. I know she started a school for girls in Africa. She should do more things like that in this country. Maybe she does and we just don’t know about it. Don’t know why I’m rambling on and on about Oprah. I wish her well.

        • NJ Bev says:

One of the major reasons I’ll miss her show is because, here in the “Tri-State” area NJ,NY&Conn. the show
airs at 4 o’clock and that is the time of the day that
I usually rest, have a cup of coffee, help w/ homework
and gear up for dinner-it’s my afternoon tv time.
just like Carson put me to sleep for many years.
It’s my routine and I don’t like it screwed up-
(it was my routine until this blog, now I have no
          routine-whole other story)
But this year has been great shows b/c it’s the
final year! There were several years there
where the show was a chronic disappointment –
          I hope that makes sense.

        • cabbie413 says:

Oprah gives away 100s of millions EVERY year. She has various charities that she gives to but she never felt the need to lend her name everytime she gave donations. Most of the time they are anonymous.

This was on some Oprah interview years ago. She’s one of the most philanthropic people around, and I admire her for that. Also when she dies, it all goes go charity if I recall correctly.

        • kbinldo says:

Oprah started from ZERO. Everything she has now, she earned by working her ass off. I think one of the highest compliments that could be paid to her can be found in the book about 2008 election, “Game Change.” Some operative in the McCain campaign wanted to add her to the “celebrity Obama” ad along with Paris Hilton, et al. However, someone higher up nixed that, saying essentially that Oprah was some sort of political force that they “shouldn’t mess around with.” Now THAT is power.

      • Kukulet says:

I’ve never watched Oprah, but I felt the same way about Johnny Carson. No offense to other late night talk show hosts, but Carson was in a league of his own.

        • HD says:

Boston, I have to say, Oprah is one of the most recognized, richest women in the world, she is a media empire on her own, if Oprah says she LIKES something you can be an overnight millionaire, Oprah has been in the game for YEARS she deserves a long goodbye. Anything short of that would be criminal.

You (general you) do not have to like Oprah but no one can deny what she has done as a Black woman in the media industry. It is beyond phenomenal and she is more than worthy to take her time saying goodbye to a show that she built from the ground up. This is not about liking or disliking Oprah it is just about what is “right”. There will never be another Oprah Winfrey probably in my lifetime or yours.

          • housewifeaddict says:

I still remember watching The Color Purple – 1985 – the first time I ‘met’ Oprah.

          • glammedupthug says:

Oprah is in the entertainment industry, just like Phil Donahue before her. She interviews people. Period. She hasn’t discovered the cure for cancer or fought in any battlefields wearing this county’s uniform. Yet people kiss the hems of her clothes like she is sacred. No one DARES say anything against her for fear of retribution. Oprah is not royalty. She lost me years ago when she didn’t even know what a Home Depot was. She is in show business and has a crap load of money. Period!

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Arnold has always been known as a womanizer so unfortunately this isn’t a surprise. I do feel sorry for Maria because without her I don’t think he would have been anything more than a bodybuilder/movie star.

After tooling around the internet it appears that Melissa sees RHNJ as a vehicle to start her music career – she’s a singer dontcha know! SO besides treating her brother like dirt, Teresa was withholding an opportunity for Melissa to become a pop star. Teresa just won’t share the fame spotlight (and didn’t know Melissa could sing!) cause after all she is bringing home the bacon. I’m just a wee bit sick of the RHNJ’s version of family values!

    • Jill...no not THAT Jill says:

    • housewifeaddict says:

SMH at the christening party for the baby, this is how it goes down? These people are insane. Makes me just want to read the blogs, not watch it on Bravo as it’s sickening that Bravo is totally using these cretins to make $. Melissa thinks she’s going to be a “star?” Look at where Danielle is Melissa. Danielle thought RHONJ was her ticket to celebrity too. People are going to despise Melissa & her Joey just as much as they hate Teresa & Juicy. Bravo & Andy are laughing all the way to the bank.

She responded with a question, “Why would I do that?”

Well, Jill, I don’t know why you would do that. I also can’t understand your comments on Amazon under the name of Susan Saunders that was widely reported and the confirmation that you gave that Susan Saunders was your account at the Hamptons Bookfaire to a reporter.

I can’t understand why you leak lies about Alex being fired to Page Six as you admitted to in the opening episode of Season Two either.

I do understand why you banned me for saying that your PR Campaign was called Operation Titanic because of all your leaks though. I bet you had a good moment hitting the banned button on my twitter, QuincyILIHJZ. Enjoy the moment, I am sure Bravo will slaughter you on the next episdode of RHNYC this Thurs. again. The fan comments in the Gawker article don’t seem to be the “spam” comments that we were talking about a few days ago – the ones with the I Hate Jill Zarin link that went back to Jill’s website. I think it’s true that she does have fans, but it’s also true that her PR team has been sending out spiked comments. The two things aren’t mutually exclusive.

      • quincyil says:

If she had done nothing of the kind, she would have denied this. She did not deny because there is evidence out there that might prove she is not truthful.

Is this what PR people do?

        • housewifeaddict says:

Good PR people don’t do things to embarrass their client. LOL

There is no way she can get people to believe that the posts with the embedding links in comments that lead people back to her website weren’t planted by her team.

The gingerettes do exist I believe. Of the many many people in this world, there are a few teenage girls in the southern hemisphere that adore Jill Zarin.

Does Jill really make that much money from RHNY? It seems her business ventures are not well thought out or received by the general public. Jill will likely have “Breakout Star of RHNY and Bestselling Author” chisled on her tombstone before loving wife and mother. Her attempts to flood the internet with her greatness will backfire again so my question is who will she blame it on this time??

    • housewifeaddict says:

It can’t be about the money for all of them. My guess is she thought she could turn it around and be a fan favorite again with the “I have changed” opening episode. Clearly Jill isn’t very self aware – and had no idea how she’s come across this season, in front of the camera, or behind the scenes. And no one is covering for her – quite the opposite – the press seems to take delight in calling out her foibles.

      • Kukulet says:

I’m loving that the Bravo editors aren’t covering for her this season, either. Guess she abused them one too many times.

      • quincyil says:

In my opinion, Jill thought she could go back to hating Ramona and she is trying to turn the public against Ramona. I think this is what she meant by returning to season one.

Ramona called Jill a fool on twitter recently.

        • BlueSky_Forever says:

This is posted by Scott Greenspan. I remember he posts comments in support of “newengland” blog. His profile states that he is an attorney who practices commercial litigation and insurance litigation. Of course he wants Jill to sue Gawker. More work.

      • quincyil says:

OK, I have been following greenspan…he posts on lisanewengland and has a twitter. Someone said he lives in Jill’s buidling.

I have a friend who has a successful career as a litagator and she told me the bar for a celebrity suing is set high because they are public figures. She also told me truth is the best defense.

If Jill sued some site, they could go into Amazongate and call people who wrote online articles like the Page Six article on Simon falling down drunk to give depositions and later testimony. Jill would have to prove that she did nothing in the past to warrant such an accusation.

In my opinion, Jill could not prover her innocence. Plus, she did not deny, she asked a question. She also has PR people. We have the link on this blog that leads back to her own site with a hyperlink. That is evidence too and it is staying on this site.
        Other bloggers have evidence.

Good luck to Jill. Is it good PR to put out there that you are litigious? I don’t think so. The threat of a lawyer on the WWHL poll did not make Jill any friends at Bravo or in cyberspace.

      • quincyil says:

I don’t think gawker said she has no fans. They probably saved the email of those fans and they all come from one source. That’s my guess.

WCW – did you really expect anything different? We know they weed out the comments and only post positive ones.

  17. housewifeaddict says:

Call me a cynic – but I think Joey started that fight just to create drama and make sure Melissa was cast for the show. This was right at the beginning of filming – and if she show enough interesting things – she would have been dropped.
All those hints – like when they walked into the reception and he told Melissa “No drama”, and same with her telling her sisters that – makes me think that they all talked about creating drama, but decided not to. So when Joey got drunker than a skunk, he went against his better judgement and stirred up the drama. Why else would he call Teresa garbage? There was no reason for it. All famewhores – the whole bunch of them. But I do like Jaq and Chris – and Lauren Manzo.

    • housewifeaddict says:

oops – didn’t show enough interesting things …

      • Eve says:

I agree. I don’t like Melissa and her husband at all. They are so phony and she just wants the spotlight and is jealous of Theresa. I don’t like Theresa either but her sister-in-law wears this halo over her head. I think she is a trouble maker and I think her sisters are as well. Her husband is just creepy to me and he did start the fight.

        • chismosa says:

im not going to judge as of yet. we only have ONE episode with Melissa and Joey in it- (i really dont know what we are all going to call him- Joey?) Melissa comes off like this but guess what- Alex came off ridiculous S1 and today i love her to pieces. I also think Bethenny comes off quite harsh but i would give her a kidney if needed.
I blame Tre on the Christening hoopla. Know i’m alone in that.

          • TEB2350 says:

I don’t think you are alone. I’m leaning towards liking Melissa because I despise Teresa so much.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Drunk as a skunk and having no control over any of the women in his life – bad news for Joey. Teresa should have just kept walking when her brother called her garbage – she didn’t because she was fed up with being treated poorly at her nephew’s christening. But Joey being Joey has let it slip in his twittering that someone (who will surprise us) puts his family back together. My guess is Gia because none of these adults act like adults.

      • chismosa says:

i didnt realize women needed control by their husbands.

Some of these women should hope that it’s only their husbands that control them, since many of them seem to be destined to be under the care of the local, state and federal authorities.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Joey starting that fight fits the family profile. I hope that Melissa can show a nicer side than the Gorgons (Teresa and her brother) have!

    • Error404 says:

I like Chris and Lauren too, but I wane a little on jac. I know a lot of women like her who had kids young and are more of an older sister than a parent. She needs Cher to slap her and scream “snap out of it” IMO as she is mishandling the Ashley situation badly.

      • Rabble Rouser says:

Sometimes when she is arguing with Ashely, I almost expect her to retort with the “I know you are but what am I” comeback.

Lynn. I’ll bet last night was an AMAZING night. One that you’ll remember for a long, long time. You are lucky your friend is not an Oprah fan!

  20. Mimisfbay says:

Ah, JZ, still moving the wood chips from one end of her cage to the other and back again. She is just determined to beat us all into submission and sue the pants off anyone who tells her to get back on her hampster wheel. Watch out Gawker she has you in her crosshairs.

Quincy, I have come to like PIH thanks to you. I think when she met with both couples she really focused on the arrival of the new baby and turned around difficult situations. I really like that she knows her role and, especially with the singer, helped the entire family. My heart really went out to her because she really felt trapped, resentful and was mourning for her lost love, singing. We sure can’t lump that couple into the rich and spoiled category.

I also cried when she found out that they are pregnant! Rosie seems to be a lovely person with a niche product that only works in a big city like Manhattan. Hats off to her for getting a show on Bravo even if only for one season. Her business must be booming. Besides, the show has positive outcomes! Thanks for blogging about it Q.

    • quincyil says:

I like her too. Did you find the initial segment in her shop difficult to understand? The rest of the show was fine. I would have reshot that segment if I was the director.

      • Mimisfbay says:

Yes, I can’t fathom a world where “gag” would be a good thing.
Not sure why the producer used that footage because it was nonsensical.

On the other hand, I loved the episode when JT (?) was in the horse paddock and surprised me NO end when he was totally comfortable around horses. Not someone I would think of as having been raised on a ranch/farm. He got the comedy of it and made it even funnier.

        • Error404 says:

Do you watch ru Paul drag race? When the queens are truely fabulous they call each other “sickening” lol I didnt see the show but when I read this blog I immediately though he meant he wants to look so fabulous that the kids see him and drop their jaws on awe saying ” girl, you are fierce!”

          • quincyil says:

Nope. Did not see that. I have to spend more time watching TV.

            • Error404 says:

They’re both foreign cultures to me. I dint find the drag speak any more or less weird than the RHNY habit of starting each and every conversation with obvious fake declarations of how beautiful the other looks. We all know they all dispise each other.

              • NJ Bev says:

                honestly, I thought that ritual
                with the fake declarations of

                but I think you’re right.

It’s fun to have blogs with first hand experiences like Lynn going to NYC for Cat Ommanney’s event, going to Bethenny’s Show in Waukeegan and now Oprah’s event.

This makes living on the prairie more fun!

      • cusi77 says:

And I will always remember when you went to Chicago and stayed in that hotel… Your recollections of events took me right there at the lobby, you walking in Michigan Ave. Your new foulard! You are a great raconteur Quincy! Thanks!

By luck, I was there one week early. It was an opera weekend for my husband. He and some friends go to the opera and I read a book.

  24. Mimisfbay says:

    Wow, Lynn, congrats!!!!

I just love Oprah and remember her from when she was in Baltimore. She just always had something special and continues to this day. I admire her and respect everything she has done for women.

How lucky are you that you were able to be at the event? Congrats again.

  25. Lavalady says:

Congrats Lynn on your ticket to Oprah’s show. Sounds like it was a great night. Very happy for you.

  26. Error404 says:

I believe she blacked out and could not remember tossing the table at Danielle in Season One Finale and could not remember chasing Danielle when she spoke to the police after the Country Club Fashion Show also.

        • Error404 says:

          LoL yes!

          • quincyil says:

Error404, have you noticed how I never let them off the hook? Jill tweets something or bans me so she gets a rehash of her entire life as a reward. Jill’s friend suggests litigation so Jill gets a replay of Amazongate from start to finish. I bet I am not the only person on a blog who does that.

Bethenny doesn’t give anyone ammunition. It’s water off a duck’s back and on to selling toothpaste that makes your face look skinny and tastes like a pina colada.

I am not a PR expert, but I think moving on to a new subject is the better path to take. Fighting with Ramona for days on twitter is foolish.

If someone attacks me, they get dead silence in return. I learned to do that 40 years ago and it works. Well, these days, I might look over my granny glasses at them for a second and wink, then be silent.

            Q

            • IndianaHousewife says:

Q – I have to thank you for this. I have been having trouble with a co-worker. She is one of those that does not have a conversation with you, she lectures at you, because of course she knows everything about everything. I can make a simple comment like ” I had the best dinner last night.” Immediately not skipping a beat her response is “we had ………..” Not an “Oh really, what was it?” or anything. The worse part is we share the same office so there is no escape. At times I will literally look at my computer and type nonsense to appear very busy, and she will just keep on talking about herself!

Now I am in my early 40’s and very able and willing to stand up for myself or to put someone in their place. My struggle has been how to deal with this without being labeled the “bit$h” or the “wrong” one.

If you don’t mind I am going to borrow your tactics. She can’t win if I do not respond. I don’t have the granny glasses however I can raise one eyebrow, should accomplish the same thing right?

              • quincyil says:

You can’t win in verbal combat. They take your words and enjoy twisting them. I don’t tell tales either. That back stabbing that you see Jill doing just leads to trouble in the future.

                • BlueSky_Forever says:

So true Q. At work you can never reveal your true thoughts to your co-workers. It pays to stay professional, don’t gossip & be super productive. Gets you promoted every time!

                  • quincyil says:

If you actually help coworkers and are pleasant your superiors always notice.

Bethenny treated RHNYC like a business and now she is on the way to amazing success.

Look at Jill struggling. She could have had it all too.

            • Error404 says:

True. I see aspects of my own life in both RHNJ and TFBB, but my inability to turn every minor conflict into WWIII is why I’m not the star of my own reality tv show! LoL

              • quincyil says:

The need for constant respect is odd too.

                • twoile says:

@Q, might it reflect on their lack of self respect that they demand a demonstration from others? just a thought:0)

                  • BlueSky_Forever says:

It’s sort of a cultural thing for them. I’ve seen it in others of the same background, this demanding respect. I didn’t go to my boss’s xmas party one year (told him I was sick) and later he claimed that I “disrespected him” by not going. I reminded him I was sick so he backed off. Unreal but totally real!

        • WindyCityWondering says:

And Juicy couldn’t remember hitting that tree, which caused his DUI situation. I think I am going to black out cause I sure don’t want to wash the kitchen floor today….

          • quincyil says:

I would like to black out in the kitchen and not cook dinner, but he is like the Italian men and dinner should be on the table when he gets home.

OT, sorry if someone posted about this before:
There is a very nice article on Bethenny Frankel on Forbes.com they posted it yesterday, found out some things I didn’t know.

  29. Lavalady says:

Just read an article in this week’s TV Guide about the RHOC. Vicki claims she is getting her own Bravo show???

    • cabbie413 says:

What show is that? How to emasculate and emotionally abuse your husband? lol

      She’s pulling a Jill.

      • Okie Folkie says:

Oh, now THATS a good ‘un! Vicky getten her own show! I can see it now, the season would last ONE EPISODE, if that long.

        Is it supposedly on bravo?

        • Lavalady says:

          Quoting verbatim from TV Guide:
Vicki: I’m working on my own show right now for Bravo-it’s much different, more work-related. There’s going to be a time when Bravo says, “We’re done.” And we’d better all figure out what we’re gonna do.

          • They might give her a web series on Bravotv.com. I think that is what Bravo is doing every time one of the “Housewives” asks for their own show…….LOL. She’s wanted her own show for a while, I wonder if Bravo finally caved in. Who’s the “Housewife” to get their own show, Jill, her sister and her mother? LOL

          • quincyil says:

She’s right about this, but I don’t think a show about her selling insurance and doing the things she does to employees will be popular.

            • Okie Folkie says:

ITA! Possibly enough for ONE episode? Otherwise…it would be a snoozefest, imo.

Vicky has never been very interesting, to me.

And an entire show dedicated to her selling insurance and ‘spanking her employees’?
Geez bravo,, please buy a Vowel (or a clue!)!

          • Rabble Rouser says:

It sounds to me like she is ‘working’ on a treatment to pitch to Bravo . I doubt anything is in the works- and just in case Bravo is putting their feelers out- no one cares.

          • FLG says:

There’s going to be a time when Bravo says, “We’re done.” And we’d better all figure out what we’re gonna do.” I bet Jill has that figured out, too and is wondering how in the hell she is going to schlep her book, bedding and skweezey/sleezy couture w/o the show. The book is almost being given away on Amazon, the bedding is being discounted by BBB, and as you all pointed out to me, she won’t be able to re-purpose her gussets as medical devices, so I’m wondering if she and Bawby are going to have to move back in with “mother’s not happy”! Wouldn’t that be a hoot! Talk about a heaping helping of humble pie!

            • Error404 says:

OMG that’s a great pitch for jill’s own show she always trying to get. Broke and desperate, bawby and Jill have to move into Gloria garage in boca. I love it! I’d actually watch!

  30. chismosa says:

you know today Jill must REALLY be dying over stuff:
    1) Bethenny on Forbes article and what that means- and the intense $$$ involved. Going against everything Jill stands for- i.e. hanging onto a man for your own money, not going out and creating your own fortune like the other hw’s, etc.
    2) The NY post article (which yes may not be true) about NY cast being replaced
    3) Lynn- (“that woman!” – isnt that how Jill refers to you Lynn?)- having this wonderful experience at Oprah Winfrey, which Jill tried to show off and play up weeks ago.

I think Jill ought to check her horoscope for this week or month- things must be bad for her sign right now! ha hahaaa!

    • lillybee says:

And Jill’s bedding line is on clearance at BB and B.

      • BlueSky_Forever says:

Bethenny has really learned how to win friends & influence people in public (ala Dale Carnegie etc.) while Jill just continues to mess up. After watching that Forbes video of B above posted by cabbie413 where she talks about her next goal – a talk show – you can really see why she is so successful. Compare that video & her show BEA to B’s first 2 seasons on RHONY. Bethenny has come a long way. Jill? Going downhill fast!

        • cabbie413 says:

That’s what I thought too – Bethenny is featured on Forbes for her business acumen, while Jill is on gawker being accused (and rightfully so) of fake profiles and posts fill with praise and adulation.

      • cabbie413 says:

and it’s not even moving on Clearance, because it’s so damn ugly!

  31. OneMoreInBoston says:

    • California35 says:

Hi One more in Boston …I second that…

Lynn you kept the information about Oprah for AFTER the event not before, like someone else did. By the way I saw that episode with Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts, Jill was behind Julia’s friend…OF COURSE trying to get on camera. Any ways sorry to bring that up on this post. I am glad you had a chance to be in the Oprah HUGE event. It must have been a lot of fun.

    • FLG says:

Lynn, I’m so very happy for you, too! I’ll bet Jill’s head is spinning round and round and ready to explode! I’m sure she thought she’d be the only one to be part of Oprah’s farewell extravaganza! She’s not even going to be able to get onto RuPaul’s Drag U, after the ponytail/squish-ware appearance!

  32. Kellita says:

Lucky you, Lynn!! We tried to get tickets to one of Oprah’s final shows but couldn’t. What a great opportunity! So happy for you.

  33. klmh says:

  35. cabbie413 says:

OT- I love that Olga (my fake name for Arnold’s baby mama) is just a regular looking older woman, and not some hot young sexified vixen.

I had a conversation with a friend last month where I said more often than not, the mistress isn’t prettier than the wife. On The View hot topics segment today, they showed a picture of Arnold’s “baby mama” and the audienced gasped in disbelief – like ewww..(she’s old..she’s not attractive..she’s ugly!) – Everyone assumed she was some hot vixen.

I actually love that she’s your average – regular looking – everyday woman;- not some glamorized hot young thing.

    • quincyil says:

I googled and she has 3 other children and in the divorce filings she say her husband during that time has no children with her. Odd.

If this was 14 years ago, she could have been a stunning woman at that time.

Friends say she pursued him. Yeah, right.

      • cabbie413 says:

I bet she thought she was in “relationship” with him. As it seems, he kept his ‘work staff’ and ‘household staff’ separate and was sleeping with the lot of them!

I guess my post was just to emphasize that if a man is going to cheat, he’ll cheat. She doesn’t have to be the prettiest paper for him to pull his pencil out.

        • quincyil says:

          to make this worse:

I remember that Maria Schriver had toxemia in her last pregnancy and almost died. I have been googling and since that was 13 plus years ago, I am having problems with a link. I remember reading about protein in her urine and high blood pressure. She was hospitalized before the delivery for some time.

It’s been awhile, but I can see the page in the magazine in my head.

          • Kukulet says:

You’re right, Quincy. Seems to me she had preeclampsia (sp?), too, but I may be remembering it wrong.

            • quincyil says:

I remember protein in urine and high blood pressure so I bet it was preeclampsia. I look for protein in urine all of the time.

          • lillybee says:

Slutlexis has REMOVED HER APOLOGY from her own website and my response to her with it. Bravo has left it posted. I knew her apology was as fake as her boobies, nose, hair and fingernails.

              • Okie Folkie says:

OMG! She is just sooooo F***in’ stuuupid. (& I hate the ‘s’ word) But that is one of many words that describes her.

((((((FLG))))))) I hope you’re not still wounded by that plastic person.

                • FLG says:

I feel much better. I meant what I said and said what I meant. It was very liberating. I bet I feel more liberated than she does with Taliban Jim! She really painted herself into a corner. I saw that they are filming the reunion show for OC now. That should be interesting. I hope Andy doesn’t gloss over it.

                  • Okie Folkie says:

OH! I hope Andy will say something of her blatant hypocrisy.
Ya’know….I was thinkin’ Taliban Jimbo probably forced her to take that blog down….I dunno…I DO know that female is as fake as fake can get.

              • Rabble Rouser says:

I’m sorry she hurt you AGAIN.

She isn’t worth it- and unlike you she has been divorced. She is hardly an example of the sanctity of marriage.

          • BlueSky_Forever says:

It is really horrible. Just watched today’s Wendy Williams show. The woman was with the family 20 years, the son is around 14. Wrap your head around that. Plus, the kid was at Maria’s house plenty of times – he even looks like Arnold. No one noticed? The woman was threatening to sell her story to a magazine, so that’s why Arnold came out with the story last January. Wendy showed a picture of the house in Bakersfield, CA. Worth $250,000 it’s a nice house with a pool in the back. Maria Shriver will be so much better off without the “impregonater”

            http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1388212/Mildred-Baena-Mother-Arnold-Schwarzeneggers-lovechild-revealed.html

            • chismosa says:

men in power who cheat constantly, – see the head of the IMF currently being held in NYC awaiting if there will be a trial, Arnold, etc. – don’t do it for looks. I thought this was clear to people- remember the woman Shania Twain’s husband cheated on her with? So fugly. That is never the situation. Men cheat inherently because of their own narcissism, being drunk off of themselves-issues, or issues with how their fathers were growing up (or even their mothers)- see Kennedy men. I know most people feel so badly for Maria and yes i sort of do, but honey most of these Kennedy women knew exactly what they were getting into when they married, then chose to stay married to- these men. I don’t know Maria’s particular situation with regards to her father and her parents.
My paper today said (and i know i know, it may not be true) that Maria knew of another tryst of Arnold’s from 10 years ago, and simply fired the woman from the household staff. Um, what? So she decided to stay married. I bet 10 years ago was hardly the 1st liaison she found out about. She does not live under a rock.

I truly feel badly for women who – 1) for lack of any intuition or 2) who really, truly do not seeing something- -are in complete surprise when they discover double lives their husbands lead. I can’t feel so badly about a super educated woman staying with a known philanderer. I do feel something for her, i’m not heartless, just not complete sadness for her like everyone seems to be around the country. I’m sorry, you choose who you marry, you really do. And yes, i understand the issue of trying to do best for the kids and to keep children most happy and healthy. Sorry, still wrong. Women have to be savvy. I just don’t see that from lots of bright women and it’s sad. Get to therapy if you seem to choose the wrong men.

Please send that T-storm over my way, will ya? I love storms. I hope you enjoy it!

      • VAgirl says:

I did. It was not very long and I was sitting in my reading chair right beside my bedroom window and there was a cool breeze blowing in. One of my dogs was in my lap looking out and the other was looking out of another window. We all three enjoyed it. Just thunder, didn’t see any lightning.

        • Okie Folkie says:

We havent gotten ANY good weather this spring, to speak of. I do enjoy a good loud T-Storm, especially if they last a while.
Glad you & your dogs enjoyed it!

Hmmmmm… repeating gawker, but they must know something.

I think it’s interesting that the comments say, “We Hate Jill Zarin.”

The hyperlink back to Jill gave it away. What were they thinking?

      • quincyil says:

Earlier today, I said that I usually remind people of Jill’s past sins and the gawker and reality tea did the same. I don’t see how the links on blogs could possibly help Jill and I think that whoever came up with the idea, should be put in the stocks without water until Jill Zarin regains her popularity.

    • I really thought Jill was going to do a better job at “redeeming” herself this season but she is getting worse. I didn’t think it was possible but she keeps digging a hole for herself and it’s getting deeper. She’s a hot mess!

      • VAgirl says:

And meanwhile she’s just tweeting away like everything’s hunky dory!

        • I know, she is like a little kid. She is taping the Joy Behar show today and she is bragging that she ran into Debbie Reynolds and she is tweeting pictures from the green room. Wait until she gets home and reads all of the stories about herself on the internet. LOL

          • VAgirl says:

Joy probably loves Jill. They kind of remind me of each other in a way. I’ll have to tune in to see if Joy gives Jill the star treatment or nails her. I’m guessing the star treatment.

          • AZ Girl says:

Jill probably thinks Debbie Reynolds actual knows who she is. HA!

      • cabbie413 says:

yes yessssssss she’s a hot mess – LOVE IT! Keep it up Jill!!! Keep it up!

      • California35 says:

I thought so too, I kept thinking that she would be fake but trying to change her image. I even worry that people would buy her bs. Well, it turns out she is just being her old self…so no worries, we still hate jill zarin.

Oh the irony of it all. That article has a link to this “I hate Jill Zarin” blog, so essentially all Jill has done is give Lynn’s blog free advertising, while being exposed for her latest failed PR stunt.

I actually love Jill Zarin right at this moment. She’s the gift that keeps on giving!

  39. Malinia says:

It’s so cute the Jill brags about her 120,000 followers on the same day the Forbes article breaks and mentions Bethenny’s 5,000,000 followers!

  40. cabbie413 says:

I love that Reality Tea put a link to Lynn’s blog in their story!! I hope to see more people visit the site and make themselves comfy – this is a welcoming blog and lots of fun.

    • quincyil says:

The people at Reality Tea are nice. I asked a question once and they answered it.

I think it is very odd that Jill would use “I Hate Jill Zarin” for her hyperlink back to her site because she is supposed to reall hate that Lynn named the blog that. Plus Bobby told her not to use the word hate.

      • dsc60 says:

yeah, but i’m sure who ever did that realized that most people DO hate her so they would more than likely click on it. they know that’s the only way to get the most people to her site.

      • housewifeaddict says:

It’s to drive down this blog’s ranking on search engines – if you can make it so that it doesn’t appear on the first or second page, very few people will find the links.

  41. AZ Girl says:

This whole Arnold situation is just really upsetting. Poor Maria. Another Kennedy woman done wrong. But what is really sad is that their children now have half-brother that supposedly they have known for 14 years due to his Mom working as a staffer at the household. They are all going to need counseling.

Someone said today that the only thing bipartisan about politicians is that they all cheat on their wives.

    • quincyil says:

I hope she finds a nice guy. I can’t imagine that he was ever a good husband..

    • lillybee says:

The two older children have changed their last name from Swartzenegger to Shriver already.

    • lillybee says:

The youngest Arnold and Maria child was born less than a week before the housekeeper’s child.

      • cabbie413 says:

oh no he didn’t! i bet those kids played together now and then..all along, brothers! and all under the house they lived in.. eww I’d be so disgusted!

    • Kats2 says:

I will never understand it. No one would be surprised if there was a separation or divorce, WHY CHEAT, just leave. The lack of respect is appalling and for me it shows a major character flaw that I would never trust in a person and I think any political career for him is ruined. If you treat your wife and kids like that, you’re not going to care for me or any other tax payer out there. You are liar, a wimp and just can’t be trusted. IMHO

  43. chismosa says:

sorry i posted this down here and for some reason it posted up above- re: Arnold and Maria:
men in power who cheat constantly, – see the head of the IMF currently being held in NYC awaiting if there will be a trial, Arnold, etc.

    • error404 says:

      *shrug*
      I don’t get serial adulterers.
But I also don’t get people’s rush to “throw the bum out!” judgement.
We can’t all throw the baby out with the bathwater, and if these women think the “baby” is worth keeping despite all the “bathwater” they keep making dirty, that’s their business. I’m just glad I don’t have that problem. Still, of all the people involved: the cheating husband, the employee doing her boss, etc.. I find it hard to get all worked up over the wife stupid enough to marry the creep in the first place. If there is a “victim” here, it’s pretty much her.

      • chismosa says:

i don’t know if you mean i am the one worked up about the wife- or the media/ the public is worked up. Either way, exactly> i’m not up for it. I am not ‘worked up’ i simply responded to all the whoa-to-poor-Maria hoopla. Again, I feel less sympathy for people who place themselves in harm’s way vs. truly innocent adults, then children and … then domestic animals.

  44. Adgirl says:

I have the opinion that 100% of celebrity & pro athlete cheat men constantly. Most high powered executives in big business do it too.

I’ve worked at some the biggest brand media companies and nearly all of the head guys (all married) were huge hound dogs, usually with willing female news dept. writers who liked getting better assignments. I’m being real here, it was a two way street.

It’s funny that at smaller companies (both where I worked or were client’s of mine) there wasn’t the same atmophere of smugness and entitledness.

    • Kats2 says:

I have seen it all over big and small companies, execs and sales reps it really didn’t matter what position they had. When I’m in my hotel room sleeping because of the big meeting the next day, they are out at clubs or the hotel bar. For the longest time I had no idea it was happening as much as it was and it was happening a lot. There were some but very few men who were not but we’re talking single digit percentage like 3% were good guys, the rest were pigs.

    • chismosa says:

after reading what you said- David Letterman is another example. But then again, i’d be willing- (if he was not married) – i find his intelligence so sexy

by “maid”, you mean Darrin, right?

  51. Danielle quit her job as a stripper. I have a feeling she will be on “Celebrity Rehab” in the near future.

    http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20495696,00.html

  52. chismosa says:

Danielle will ABSOLUTELY try for Celebrity Rehab. Her managers probably pitched her already. Remember Salahi wanted in, but CelebR said they needed people with true addictions. Danielle was kicked off the reality show she was filming with Heidi Montag and Jake Pavelka so i’m sure she is fishing around for annnnnything. My guess is she’s angling for narcissistic personality disorder, sex addiction, borderline personality disorder. Anything to get on the show. And yes, i would watch her on it! ha

Re: Jill and the so-called *Gingerettes*- i take offense, as a non-redhead, but someone with a best friend who is redhead and all my friends being Irish-American- being redheaded in the UK and labeled a ‘ginger’ is actually derogatory. Gingers get mad over there. Here in the US people are just discovering the term and i think turning it around and trying to enjoy it. We’ve seen d’Andy mention the term many times on WWH.
Is Jill taking the term Gingerettes as an ode to her sickly, abused dog Ginger or to her own faux-red hair? She is NOT a NATURAL REDHEAD and to proclaim her 50 total national fans as Gingerettes is ridiculous. But i know i know, i should not be surprised. I just take offense as the bff of a natural Anne-of Green Gables-esque redhead.

Jill stop using this name and start taking poor sickly Ginger for walks and taking the jerky treats and extraneous human food away from her. God. I hope the society for chihuahuas or something go after her.

I think the Australian teenagers came up with the name for themselves – if they exist.

      • WindyCityWondering says:

That in it’s self is very creepy. If the show is not over there and her book was not there when she visited, why would she be around teen age girls? Why a JZ fan club? It just never made sense to me.

        • housewifeaddict says:

Teenage girls are very impressionable. That’s all I can figure.

Maybe Bethenny fans should start calling themselves Cookie Monsters.

  53. housewifeaddict says:

This is what the Gawker article actually says “But someone — not saying it’s Jill! Could be anyone really! Innocent until proven Zarin!— has been bombarding the Vulture comments section with suspiciously pro-Jill propaganda.”

So get over yourself Jill – they allege that “someone” is flooding the comments – they don’t claim it’s you! Get your facts straight Jill before you accuse Gawker of something they didn’t do. HA.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Jill needs to shut up! The more she says the more people are questioning what is going on. Someone is going to find “the facts” and then everything she has said will be used against her. Nice job of changing Jill, real nice job.

      • housewifeaddict says:

No no no she needs to keep on talking and tweeting so that it all comes out LOL.

  54. Dani says:

I watched HWONJ for the second time today. I have to say that I felt very sorry for brother Joe. When he is talking to his father and mother you could hear the raw emotional pain in his voice. I believe what he was saying and feeling, and he has every right to not like his sister or her husband. I also thought it must be very embarrassing for him to know people that Juicy J owes money to in the construction trade. And, then to watch his sister spending money that was basically stolen from hard working friends and family would be a terrible burden. At the Christening Juicy J didn’t want to go because he knew that he would see people that he had screwed out of money. He was not comfortable and you could tell it. The first time I watched I was not a real fan of Melissa or brother Joe, the second time I watched I was.

    • chismosa says:

Dani i hear you, i was one of like 3 or 4 commenters who really see something in Melissa and Joey – (is it joey, joe? what is it!?)- so i agree.
      Something is there.

My hatred for Teresa and Juicy only grows and i am more suspicious of them and their intentions than ever. It’s her blood relatives! her only sibling!

the only thing i didn’t like that Melissa said was that Teresa doesn’t know how to be a good sister because she doesn’t have sisters- come on- i’m a fabulous friend and ‘sister’ to people even though i (sadly) have no female siblings. i always wanted one or two or three

      • JKW says:

I have to say I see Melissa and Joey in the same class ( low ) as Teresa and Joe. That scene that Joey made with his father was one of the most awful things I ever saw. His father is ill and this jerk is screaming at him for liking Joe more than him…what is this first grade ? Then he called his mother cold. All of this during a christening of his own kid. What a horrible thing to do to his parents and not the best timing. Think what those parents must be feeling and how embarrassed they were. The whole family is garbage.

          • Dani says:

lol error404, olive oil, sea salt, lemon and vodka. I would say she needs to cut back a little with the olive oil for her coctail as her hair is a greasy mess. Then again it fits her personality as she is a mess.

On a related note, the CDC issued a Zombie preparedness memo: http://www.zdnet.com/blog/violetblue/cdc-launches-zombie-apocalypse-survival-guide-supplementary-tech-tips/382

        • kotagirl29 says:

I thought it was a world-ending earthquake on May 21st. Did they switch days?

          • error404 says:

            No. It’s a two parter.

I downloaded that iphone zombie scanner ap and Isabelle is 69% infected. Hmm… there was that story about the cav who licked it’s owners toes off. maybe they were zombies?

            • kotagirl29 says:

Well you better watch out then. Zombies everywhere!!! I have a dog who is 15 years old and has been acting strange, I thought it was just old age, but now I’m not so sure. . .

        • FLG says:

Well, I don’t guess I’ll be getting any recommendations to St. Peter from Countess Squash Blossom High Horse, Jillzy, or Alexis………Of course, Countess SBHH will be making the pearly gates into a necklace….

    • lillybee says:

Next time this is predicted I am starting a company that will care for the pets of the people who are raptured. Pre-paid of course.

      • Adgirl says:

Great idea Lillybee! I’m gonna stock up on the purple sneakers. I’ll bet there will be a run on them next time.

  62. Adgirl says:

    NY:
Good on Ramona when she tells LouMan “Don’t get involved”.

What is Kelly’s heartbreaking secret??? Oh I know. She will tell us she has dyslexia. I will just bet on it. As if that’s why she doesn’t understand figurative or metaphorical language. Literally.

  63. Adgirl says:

More on the Men Behaving Badly station: Kelsey Grammer suing Camillie for custody of children.
Didn’t they JUST complete their divorce and custody arrangements? Dayum.

    • chismosa says:

Kelly’s secret will be that she was kind of sexually ‘attacked’ – i use the term loosely- as a model. Maybe a photographer but the moves on her or something. They’ll blow it up. Lulu will feel for her bc she was a “model” back then.
I can’t think of anything else, barring her mentioning something about Gilles and her kids, which – with all her psych advisement/ meds she is on/ she most likely cannot speak about Gilles’ involvement w the kids

      • kotagirl29 says:

Nope, its gonna be something about parents or authority figure in her youth. If she follows script, in her “I want to be Bethenny campaign”, gotta be something from childhood.

        • Cusi77 says:

You might be right Kota! I haven’t though that she wants to be Bethenny!

          • Adgirl says:

I don’t think she’d say anything bad about her parents. She seems to be OK with her family.

But someone else … that’s a good idea. Fits with the Bethenny thing too. Good catch kota.

            • kotagirl29 says:

Does it make me a bad person because I can’t seem to find even an ounce of sympathy or empathy for whatever “tragedy” Kookoo is going to reveal tomorrow?

              • Cusi77 says:

Maybe Ribcage pain? Her diaphragm protrusion is too obvious… Now I am inventing in my head the kind of illness related with her odd body! I need a hobby!

      • lillybee says:

Could it be something that happened in 1979.

  64. Jill wants her fans to email the Today Show. LOL

      • Jill’s tweet to Drita from Mobwives:

Jill, you are assuming there is going to be a next season. Have you seen the ratings lately?

  65. Adgirl says:

    http://digitallife.today.com/_news/2011/05/17/6660877-real-ny-housewife-jill-zarin-poses-as-fans-online
    …………….

Jill’s gonna kidnap Hoda Kotb and have her lawyers unplug the internet untill they take down that column and fix the voter poll. LOL.

  66. Malinia says:

Is REALLY OLD HOUSEWIFE stopping her blog?

    Anyone know why?

    • Adgirl says:

really?? I know she has been threatened with lawsuits by Kim G and maybe others. She is probably tired of the drama. Writing a blog is supposed to be fun.

      • BlueSky_Forever says:

It’s very scary. KimG sent her a letter (cease & desist) thru a lawyer. How did they get ROH’s address, real name etc? She is being intimidated by thugs. ROH then posted on her blog that the comments are not her opinion etc. There were people claiming to know KimG in real life writing derogatory stuff about her. So then ROH decided to remove her blogs about KimG with the comments to appease them. Some thugs are still after ROH. I believe ROH may have a case against THEM for threatening her & the right to free speech that we have in the USA? Just my opinion! ROH is sick of the drama. She’s the best – loved her on twitter & her blog. So there is a fine line of being a hobby blogger voicing your opinion and the world of thuggery.
