Pregnant in Heels by Quincy IL
The conversation in Rosie Pope’s store is confusing for Rosie, LT (her assistant,) and for the viewers. LT says that he wants to make children gag. When he walks into a room, he wants people to be shocked. At least that is what I think he meant because I am confused like Rosie.
Rosie is in the limousine when Hannah calls and shares about Diana who is having her second child in 6 weeks and feels she needs another apartment. Diana is from the South and her husband, Ashley, has an English accent. They live on the Upper West Side with Khloe, who is 15 months old. They have a 2 bedroom apartment.
Ashley feels that the two little girls can share a room. Diana is infuriated that he will not let her move into a larger apartment. Diana feels claustrophobic.
Diana meets with Rosie alone because she wants Rosie to convince Ashley to let Diana move before the baby is born. This week’s Mommy IQ test question is: “What do you do if your toddler hits the baby?” The answer is: You tend to the baby and then speak to the toddler.
Diana is afraid that she will not be able to give her second child the same that she gave Khloe. Rosie explains to us in an interview that this is a common worry of parents about to have a second child.
Rosie does the home inspection and the nursery is small. She will give Diana and Ashley two options: a new apartment and redesigning the nursery for two little girls.
Rosie is back in the limousine for her second call from Hannah. Rebecca is a stay at home mom with two children and a baby on the way. Pricilla, Rebecca’s daughter from a previous relationship is around 5 and she has a baby brother whose father is Patrick, Rebecca’s husband, who is one.
Rebecca is a 32 year old cougar married to 24 year old Patrick. Rebecca is an opera singer and Patrick is a nutritionist who works from early morning to late in the evening. Patrick was under so much stress that he ate and gained 80lbs. He exercised that weight off, but withdraws when Rebecca begins to complain that he is gone all of the time and she is raising the children alone. The pregnancy was not planned. Rebecca’s fetus is 33 weeks old.
Rosie starts to listen to Rebecca when Patrick walks out and tells everyone that Rosie is not a counselor. Rosie realizes that this couple is dysfunctional so she will bring a professional to help them deal with their issues. Debbie, the therapist, asks the couple about their likes and dislikes. Patrick feels he is not respected. Rebecca feels abandoned, but she won’t allow Patrick to help her with the children because she wants control. Patrick doesn’t feel that Rebecca loves him and at that point Rebecca becomes quiet.
Debbie asks them to listen to each other and repeat each other’s words so they know they are listening to each other. Rosie feels that they both need personal time and she has a plan to help them with this.
Diana and Ashley meet with Rosie and a real estate agent to look at apartments. One is in Battery Park near and expressway. Ashley finds fault with the white noise of the highway and can’t get over the fact the apartment has carpeting. Diana says that Ashley thinks she is being selfish, but she would feel better if she had more space. The apartment is 3 million dollars. Another apartment in a penthouse has outdoor space and is 5.4 million dollars. This is the apartment of Diana’s dreams.
Rosie brings James, an interior designer who specialized with space management to the apartment of Diana to find a way to redesign her current space. She explains why she has to move, but James claims he can help her meet her goals in the apartment that she is now in.
Rosie tells Diana that moving at this point would mean uprooting Khloe, her toddler daughter, when so many changes about to happen to her soon.
Rosie takes Rebecca to an opera house where a voice couch and pianist wait on stage. Rebecca has not sung in years, but she is incredibly talented. She performs for Rosie and Bravo viewers. She had a wonderful time.
Patrick meets with a physical trainer in Central Park where they exercise and Patrick learns some breathing exercises for stress management.
Rosie goes to Diana’s home to find out what the couple decided to do with their apartment issues. Diana says that Ashley won. Rosie says in an interview that Diana is saying that she lost. They will remodel their nursery and stay in this apartment. James has to please Diana since she is going to want everything to be perfect. The reason Diana gave in is she did not want to cause stress for Khloe so Rosie’s comment helped her find a way to give in to Ashley.
Rebecca and Patrick are getting along better and beginning to help each other. Rebecca tells us in an interview that some couples look picture perfect, but no one is. She says change is hard.
Diana and Ashley return to their home to find the nursery is now painted in purple and pink. There is a space for Khloe and Lola. The room is beautiful. There is a day bed that grandma will use when she visits. The new baby will sleep in her parents’ room for a while to help Khloe sleep as the baby will be up at night.
Rosie and her husband go to the doctor for an ultrasound. She has taken hormones, but not started the IVF, but she feels pregnant and she is. The baby is in the uterus and is healthy. It’s a miracle and both parents feel blessed.
Rosie visits Rebecca, Patrick and Jacob, their new baby who is amazingly calm. Rebecca will take opera classes. Patrick was great at the hospital and he’s trying to be a good husband and father.
Rosie visits Diana to meet Lola and her big sister Khloe. Diana has adjusted, but Rosie is willing to help them find a larger apartment when they have another child.

Thanks Quincy! Great job as always!
I think many of you have seen this already and I believe Jill Zarin even commented on it, I find it hysterical that we’re not the only ones who are noticing how transparent Jill and her 2 fans have become.

Oprah Winfrey at the United Center
I’ve been to the United Center more times than I can count, my Chicago Blackhawks play there, our own Chicago Bulls play there but last night even the NBA had to rearrange their schedule as the Chicago Bull’s playoffs had to wait.
Chicago’s own Ms. Oprah Winfrey needed the venue. I was lucky enough to be offered a ticket at the last-minute for a very good seat in the stadium. The person who was supposed to be in my seat has absolutely nothing against Oprah, he simply preferred to spend the evening at home – actually I think his exact words were, “I’d rather have root canal”. No recording devices were allowed and I was told that no cameras were allowed either but of course some people used their cell phones to take photos. I obeyed the rules, dang it! I really missed having my camera!
Under every seat was a box of tissues, I’ve never seen so many limos in one place in my life. There were busses and trolly’s to take people from their hotels to the venue, the show started almost an hour later than originally scheduled but it was worth every second.
Oprah Winfrey is an icon, a true icon and I was so impressed by the show that her producers put together. The sun shined down on Chicago yesterday, unfortunately a whole lot of celebrities are waking up this morning to a gloomy, cold and rainy day in our fair city.
Tom Hanks, Tom Cruise and Will / Jada Pinkett Smith all acted as MC’s throughout the evening. Beyonce did a great song, she’s so beautiful but none more beautiful than Halle Berry, she was absolutely stunning.
Jerry Seinfield did a hysterical (and not mushy) stand up act that was perfect for the evening. Most of the celebrities spoke so beautifully (but most were scripted) about Oprah and what she has meant to not only women, but the whole world over the past 25-years. There was a whole lot of crying going on.
Stevie Wonder, Patti LaBelle, Usher and Josh Groban all sang wonderful songs in honor of the lady of the hour. (actually 4 hours) For a Chicagoan like me, Michael Jordan’s appearance really touched me because it was clear that he truly adored Oprah and she was surprised and delighted to see him. I don’t want to give it all away and obviously the four hours will be edited down to two and will air next week, I’m told. The stories are all over the internet and the news so I’m sure you’ll all know every guest that was there before long, there’s no way to keep it a secret when there were 15,000 people in one place including the press.
Maria Shriver was there and spoke very elequently about Ms. Oprah, she made no mention of her personal problems but I don’t think anyone expected her to do that.
Interestingly absent was John Travolta who was rumored to be there but wasn’t, now the assumption is that he will appear on her very final show being taped in the studio under high security secrecy.
I’ve never been so tired in my life, it was a long day to begin with and then the show didn’t end until just about 11:30pm and the United Center is a long way from home but all night I kept thinking all night that I couldn’t wait to tell you guys all about it. It was incredible!
I had to write a quick few paragraphs about it, I’ll try to fill in more details soon.
Until Next Time….
