I Hate Jill Zarin Pregnant In Heels – The Finale by QuincyIL
Congratulations to Rosie Pope and her husband on the new addition to their family!
Rosie Pope, her assistant Hannah and her assistant LT are in her dress shop enjoying some times together. Out of the blue, Rosie tells her employees that she is pregnant. LT is shocked. He usually senses these things and he didn’t have a clue. Rosie and LT use their “female” intuition and predict that that Rosie is carrying a girl.
We see a road sign for East Hampton and Rosie is in her limousine traveling to the house of Matt and Lucy. The couple has homes in NYC and the Hamptons, but they are enjoying the Hampton’s home with a pool right now. Lucy is a busy NYC attorney who will go back to work quickly after the baby girl is born in 4 weeks. Matt, an actor, will become a full time dad. Matt is used to his own schedule where he goes to the gym, swims, lies in the sun, doesn’t finish the laundry and takes care of the home. The plan is for Rosie to train Matt in Daddy Boot Camp.
Rosie notices that the house is not ready for a baby so she believes something is wrong. She gives Matt a Daddy IQ test and he fails. He tries to diaper a doll while Rosie makes baby crying noise and Matt gets upset. He learns to wipe from front to back and tells us that he is paralyzed by fear. Matt thinks the baby will explode and he wants to run away. This is not a real baby, just a doll. Rosie leaves Matt supplies to practice with and she informs him that she will return in 4 days. Lucy tells Matt that their baby is kicking and she says, “I think she’s scared.” Matt responds with a nervous laugh.
Michele, a TV anchor, needs help finding a nanny for her baby boy who will be born in a few weeks. Michele has a fabulous husband from the Dominican Republic and a fabulous job. She wants to go to openings and travel for her career as she did before she became pregnant. She also needs time for hair and nails. The nanny should know how to cook and speak Spanish. She wants the nanny to be modest, not sexy, ”not hotter than the momma”, be honest and have child rearing skills. Rosie has a huge data base and this is one of the things that she does for clients all of the time.
Michelle will have interviews at Rosie’s school called “Citibabes” with nannies and will be able to pick one using her gut instinct and Rosie’s proven methods. We meet the nannies in round one with timed questions about baby CPR, cooking, baby sign language, and the age of the babies that they have cared for in the past.
Round two has more in depth questions such as when is a temperature of a baby too high, can you sing, and would you go out with a friend of your boss. The nannies surprise Michelle with their answers and she gets better insight into what she wants for her baby. Rosie “fires” several nannies for Michelle with a statement thanking them and telling them that they will not be needed in the next round.
Round three has three nannies and they are told to cook a dish and bring it to Michele’s home. Hilda, brings a good tasting dish, speaks Spanish and seems to be a good nanny. Deborah does not believe in time out and Rosie adds that some people believe that it is humiliating to a toddler. Deborah will talk to a toddler to help them find the correct behaviors. Deborah did not bring a dish to share. Merle Jo was shopping and she was very late, but told them she had a good time. Her dish tasted good, but being on time is a requirement and she is not hired.
Rosie returns to the Hamptons with a baby girl, Micah, and LT. LT takes Lucy, the mother out for a day at the spa which includes a bikini wax while Matt goes to boot camp caring for Micah who cries and does not want to be in Matt’s arms. Matt finds a red tomato and she stops crying for a second. Matt is supposed to do laundry and prepare for a dinner party by shopping so Rosie asks Matt to put Micah in her car seat. Matt has trouble doing everything, but Rosie is there in case things go terribly wrong. Micah cries a lot in the first part of this adventure.
When Matt returns from the store with Rosie and Micah, his mother in law has arrived. She is going to be there for Matt and the baby, but Rosie knows that Matt has to make it on his own. Over time, Matt bonds with the baby and more importantly, the baby trusts Matt and wants to be in his arms. He tried to do everything and then decided to order in after his wife returns. She enjoys holding Micah. She looks like she will be able to handle motherhood and Matt.
Matt tells us that he knows that it is all about the baby and it seems that this day was a “ah ha moment.”
Rosie is leaving and the baby tries to go back to Matt. He thanks Rosie and Micah for teaching him how to be a father. Matt tells his wife that he will miss that baby. He wants his baby and that makes his wife very happy.
The final interview for Michelle’s nanny is in the city park. There are two nannies and two toddlers. Each nanny had a bag with necessities and the mothers of the toddlers are nearby just in case. The nannies change diapers, offer snacks, and comfort distressed children. Deborah offers a cookie which is a mistake according to Rosie. Hilda comforts a toddler who has a tantrum. Deborah puts sunscreen on the toddler.
Michelle goes with her gut and hired Deborah, but she hugs both nannies and thanks them for the experience.
Two weeks later, Rosie visits Matt, Lucy and Malibu Taylor. Lucy had a c section because she did not go into labor in the normal period of time. Matt says that he changed a diaper right away and he felt good about his ability to care for his daughter thanks to boot camp.
Michelle had an easy delivery of her son Malcolm. The baby is healthy and the proud mom goes to show him to Rosie in Rosie’s shop without her nanny. Rosie is glad that Michelle is taking care of her baby too. Rosie gives Michelle a whistle on a chain so she can order her nanny around and they both laugh.
In the last minutes of the show we watch Rosie and her husband, Darren, in a roof top bar where they met. They guess at the sex of their baby, and then open a card from the doctor to discover that Darren was correct and “It’s a Boy!”
We meet Wellington Reed Pope who was born after 4 hours of labor and weighed 8 lbs. 8 oz. and was 21.75 inches long. Darren and Rosie look forward to having more children soon.
Housewives News by LynnNChicago
The war rages on with viewers over The Real Housewives of New Jersey. I admit I’m surprised at how many people have forgiven Teresa and have proclaimed themselves as “Team Teresa” in the battle she wages with her sister-in-law. Many people who were angry with Teresa for her horrible comments against Bethenny Frankel and people who were upset with her over the handling of the Bankruptcy seem to have forgiven her. Even Teresa’s on screen behavior last season had many viewers turned against her but it all seems to have been forgotten by many.
I don’t care that she upturned a table, that really never bothered me that much. It did show a pretty ugly, angry side of Teresa but her behavior during Season Two was really appauling.
Teresa Giudice could be singlehandedly responsible for the only action that we watched during season two. She started that battle at the Posche Fashion Show, without Teresa that fashion show goes off without a hitch. Some nasty looks across the room was all we got from Danielle, Jacqueline and Ashley before Teresa decided to camp out outside of the bathroom to wait for Danielle.
Teresa shoved Andy Cohen at the reunion, got up off the couch and screamed like an animal at Danielle in her face causing Danielle to get up and leave the room. There are two sides to Teresa Giudice and one of them is pretty ugly. The out of control woman screaming at Danielle and pushing Andy Cohen down into his chair is the same woman who was dressed as Wonder Woman (or Super-T as she called it) and played with her little girls. Anger can be a dangerous emotion.
Teresa’s brother seems to have the same rage in him that his sister has, slamming the table repeatedly the way he did at his son’s Christening was the first we’d seen of Joey Gorda’s anger and it seems to be pretty serious as well. Maybe they need a Gorda family anger management course in Jersey.
In my opinion Teresa got lucky, she’s no better than any of the other New Jersey ladies but she’s gaining sympathy, she’s a known character on the show and Melissa is the new girl. Melissa is not holding anything back, she’s telling viewers all the family secrets and admitting that she doesn’t get along with her sister-in-law. If she hadn’t, she would probably have gone the way of Jennifer Gilbert of New York and Fernanda of Orange County.
Melissa made a fatal error by hanging out with Kim G, maybe she didn’t know how much viewers really hated Kim G when she did it. Melissa claims that Kim D brought Kim G to her home but it immediately brought out a bad emotion in viewers to see Kim G with Melissa and Kathy.
Melissa and Kathy haven’t done anything really horrible, they are doing what Bravo pays them to do, live their lives and let the cameras roll. The talking head interviews are pretty brutal, they are not holding back and if you believe what they’re saying, Teresa is the cause of the family tension.
Why didn’t Teresa introduce her brother and his wife on her show in past seasons? Was Teresa jealous? Was she afraid that they would get more attention than she does? Was she fearful that Bravo would catch a glimpse of Melissa and Joe Gorga and want to include them in the Real Housewives of New Jersey?
Joe Gorga tells us that whenever he and his wife attended any function that was being filmed by Bravo Teresa would ignore them. We did watch Teresa say that The Manzo’s and the Laurita’s were her “Family”. We know that Teresa’s parents spent a lot of time with the Giudice’s, they helped with the children, they helped to maintain the house and they traveled on screen with them to Italy last season.
I have seen a lot of viewers admit that they are not buying Teresa’s story this season and haven’t jumped onto her bandwagon but that does not make them fans of Melissa and Kathy. I get that, we watch both Melissa and Kathy say some horrible things about Teresa but because they’re family it really changes the way viewers see it. If Melissa and Kathy had just been two new housewives that were unrelated to any of the existing housewives would people still feel the same way about them?
Cindy Barshop arrived on the scene in New York and almost immediately started bashing Sonja and Ramona. Cindy’s not getting the fall out from her comments the way Melissa is over the bridge in New Jersey. Melissa is taking a lot of hits because she’s married to Teresa’s brother, viewers think she should remain silent because of the family connection. Teresa is doing the exact same thing that Melissa is doing.
Real Housewives of New York meet Mob Wives –
A portion of an interview with Mob Wives cast member, Drita D’avanzo:
Lori Koff: We heard that recently you hung out with Jill Zarin and Kelly Bensimon of The Real Housewives of New York City? How did that come about? Are they fans of your show?
Drita D’avanzo: Yes. I met with Jill Zarin and Kelly Bensimon while I was hosting a party at the Chelsea Room. They were so friendly and we had a really nice time together. I was so flattered to hear that they are fans of mine. She [Jill] told me she loved me and that I’m beautiful in person… she was awesome. Kelly the same. I’m their fav which is great.
LK: Are you a Real Housewives fan? Which franchises do you watch and who are your favorite housewives and why?
DD: I do watch the Real Housewives of NYC on occasion and I admire all powerful women from New York! One of my favorites has to be Bethenny Frankel (well, Hoppy now!). I love how driven she is and it’s so nice to see her success.
Jill had to love this! Jill the publicity hound finally got someone from another network to give her the time of day yet Mob Wives star Drita still chose Bethenny over Jill!
Until Next Time,,,,
