Congratulations to Rosie Pope and her husband on the new addition to their family!

Rosie Pope, her assistant Hannah and her assistant LT are in her dress shop enjoying some times together.  Out of the blue, Rosie tells her employees that she is pregnant. LT is shocked.  He usually senses these things and he didn’t have a clue. Rosie and LT use their “female” intuition and predict that that Rosie is carrying a girl.
We see a road sign for East Hampton and Rosie is in her limousine traveling to the house of Matt and Lucy. The couple has homes in NYC and the Hamptons, but they are enjoying the Hampton’s home with a pool right now.  Lucy is a busy NYC attorney who will go back to work quickly after the baby girl is born in 4 weeks.  Matt, an actor, will become a full time dad.  Matt is used to his own schedule where he goes to the gym, swims, lies in the sun, doesn’t finish the laundry and takes care of the home.  The plan is for Rosie to train Matt in Daddy Boot Camp.
Rosie notices that the house is not ready for a baby so she believes something is wrong.  She gives Matt a Daddy IQ test and he fails. He tries to diaper a doll while Rosie makes baby crying noise and Matt gets upset.  He learns to wipe from front to back and tells us that he is paralyzed by fear.  Matt thinks the baby will explode and he wants to run away. This is not a real baby, just a doll.  Rosie leaves Matt supplies to practice with and she informs him that she will return in 4 days.  Lucy tells Matt that their baby is kicking and she says, “I think she’s scared.”  Matt responds with a nervous laugh.
Michele, a TV anchor, needs help finding a nanny for her baby boy who will be born in a few weeks.   Michele has a fabulous husband from the Dominican Republic and a fabulous job.  She wants to go to openings and travel for her career as she did before she became pregnant.  She also needs time for hair and nails. The nanny should know how to cook and speak Spanish. She wants the nanny to be modest, not sexy, ”not hotter than the momma”, be honest and have child rearing skills.  Rosie has a huge data base and this is one of the things that she does for clients all of the time.
Michelle will have interviews at Rosie’s school called “Citibabes” with nannies and will be able to pick one using her gut instinct and Rosie’s proven methods. We meet the nannies in round one with timed questions about baby CPR, cooking, baby sign language, and the age of the babies that they have cared for in the past.
Round two has more in depth questions such as when is a temperature of a baby too high, can you sing, and would you go out with a friend of your boss. The nannies surprise Michelle with their answers and she gets better insight into what she wants for her baby. Rosie “fires” several nannies for Michelle with a statement thanking them and telling them that they will not be needed in the next round.
Round three has three nannies and they are told to cook a dish and bring it to Michele’s home.  Hilda, brings a good tasting dish, speaks Spanish and seems to be a good nanny.  Deborah does not believe in time out and Rosie adds that some people believe that it is humiliating to a toddler.  Deborah will talk to a toddler to help them find the correct behaviors. Deborah did not bring a dish to share.  Merle Jo was shopping and she was very late, but told them she had a good time. Her dish tasted good, but being on time is a requirement and she is not hired.
Rosie returns to the Hamptons with a baby girl, Micah, and LT.  LT takes Lucy, the mother out for a day at the spa which includes a bikini wax while Matt goes to boot camp caring for Micah who cries and does not want to be in Matt’s arms.  Matt finds a red tomato and she stops crying for a second. Matt is supposed to do laundry and prepare for a dinner party by shopping so Rosie asks Matt to put Micah in her car seat.  Matt has trouble doing everything, but Rosie is there in case things go terribly wrong.  Micah cries a lot in the first part of this adventure.
When Matt returns from the store with Rosie and Micah, his mother in law has arrived.  She is going to be there for Matt and the baby, but Rosie knows that Matt has to make it on his own.  Over time, Matt bonds with the baby and more importantly, the baby trusts Matt and wants to be in his arms. He tried to do everything and then decided to order in after his wife returns.  She enjoys holding Micah.  She looks like she will be able to handle motherhood and Matt.
Matt tells us that he knows that it is all about the baby and it seems that this day was a “ah ha moment.”
Rosie is leaving and the baby tries to go back to Matt.  He thanks Rosie and Micah for teaching him how to be a father.  Matt tells his wife that he will miss that baby.  He wants his baby and that makes his wife very happy.
The final interview for Michelle’s nanny is in the city park.  There are two nannies and two toddlers.  Each nanny had a bag with necessities and the mothers of the toddlers are nearby just in case.  The nannies change diapers, offer snacks, and comfort distressed children.  Deborah offers a cookie which is a mistake according to Rosie.  Hilda comforts a toddler who has a tantrum.  Deborah puts sunscreen on the toddler.
Michelle goes with her gut and hired Deborah, but she hugs both nannies and thanks them for the experience.
Two weeks later, Rosie visits Matt, Lucy and Malibu Taylor.  Lucy had a c section because she did not go into labor in the normal period of time. Matt says that he changed a diaper right away and he felt good about his ability to care for his daughter thanks to boot camp.
Michelle had an easy delivery of her son Malcolm.  The baby is healthy and the proud mom goes to show him to Rosie in Rosie’s shop without her nanny.  Rosie is glad that Michelle is taking care of her baby too. Rosie gives Michelle a whistle on a chain so she can order her nanny around and they both laugh.
In the last minutes of the show we watch Rosie and her husband, Darren, in a roof top bar where they met.  They guess at the sex of their baby, and then open a card from the doctor to discover that Darren was correct and “It’s a Boy!”
We meet Wellington Reed Pope who was born after 4 hours of labor and weighed 8 lbs. 8 oz. and was 21.75 inches long.  Darren and Rosie look forward to having more children soon.

Housewives News by LynnNChicago

The war rages on with viewers over The Real Housewives of New Jersey.  I admit I’m surprised at how many people have forgiven Teresa and have proclaimed themselves as “Team Teresa” in the battle she wages with her sister-in-law.  Many people who were angry with Teresa for her horrible comments against Bethenny Frankel and people who were upset with her over the handling of the Bankruptcy seem to have forgiven her.  Even Teresa’s on screen behavior last season had many viewers turned against her but it all seems to have been forgotten by many.

I don’t care that she upturned a table, that really never bothered me that much.  It did show a pretty ugly, angry side of Teresa but her behavior during Season Two was really appauling.

Teresa Giudice could be singlehandedly responsible for the only action that we watched during season two.  She started that battle at the Posche Fashion Show, without Teresa that fashion show goes off without a hitch.  Some nasty looks across the room was all we got from Danielle, Jacqueline and Ashley before Teresa decided to camp out outside of the bathroom to wait for Danielle.

Teresa shoved Andy Cohen at the reunion, got up off the couch and screamed like an animal at Danielle in her face causing Danielle to get up and leave the room.  There are two sides to Teresa Giudice and one of them is pretty ugly.  The out of control woman screaming at Danielle and pushing Andy Cohen down into his chair is the same woman who was dressed as Wonder Woman (or Super-T as she called it) and played with her little girls.  Anger can be a dangerous emotion.

Teresa’s brother seems to have the same rage in him that his sister has, slamming the table repeatedly the way he did at his son’s Christening was the first we’d seen of Joey Gorda’s anger and it seems to be pretty serious as well.  Maybe they need a Gorda family anger management course in Jersey.

In my opinion Teresa got lucky, she’s no better than any of the other New Jersey ladies but she’s gaining sympathy, she’s a known character on the show and Melissa is the new girl.  Melissa is not holding anything back, she’s telling viewers all the family secrets and admitting that she doesn’t get along with her sister-in-law.  If she hadn’t, she would probably have gone the way of Jennifer Gilbert of New York and Fernanda of Orange County.

Melissa made a fatal error by hanging out with Kim G, maybe she didn’t know how much viewers really hated Kim G when she did it.  Melissa claims that Kim D brought Kim G to her home but it immediately brought out a bad emotion in viewers to see Kim G with Melissa and Kathy.

Melissa and Kathy haven’t done anything really horrible, they are doing what Bravo pays them to do, live their lives and let the cameras roll.  The talking head interviews are pretty brutal, they are not holding back and if you believe what they’re saying, Teresa is the cause of the family tension.

Why didn’t Teresa introduce her brother and his wife on her show in past seasons?  Was Teresa jealous?  Was she afraid that they would get more attention than she does?  Was she fearful that Bravo would catch a glimpse of Melissa and Joe Gorga and want to include them in the Real Housewives of New Jersey?

Joe Gorga tells us that whenever he and his wife attended any function that was being filmed by Bravo Teresa would ignore them.  We did watch Teresa say that The Manzo’s and the Laurita’s were her “Family”.  We know that Teresa’s parents spent a lot of time with the Giudice’s, they helped with the children, they helped to maintain the house and they traveled on screen with them to Italy last season.

I have seen a lot of viewers admit that they are not buying Teresa’s story this season and haven’t jumped onto her bandwagon but that does not make them fans of Melissa and Kathy.  I get that, we watch both Melissa and Kathy say some horrible things about Teresa but because they’re family it really changes the way viewers see it.  If Melissa and Kathy had just been two new housewives that were unrelated to any of the existing housewives would people still feel the same way about them?

Cindy Barshop arrived on the scene in New York and almost immediately started bashing Sonja and Ramona.  Cindy’s not getting the fall out from her comments the way Melissa is over the bridge in New Jersey.  Melissa is taking a lot of hits because she’s married to Teresa’s brother, viewers think she should remain silent because of the family connection.   Teresa is doing the exact same thing that Melissa is doing.

Real Housewives of New York meet Mob Wives –

A portion of an interview with Mob Wives cast member, Drita D’avanzo:

Lori Koff: We heard that recently you hung out with Jill Zarin and Kelly Bensimon of The Real Housewives of New York City? How did that come about? Are they fans of your show?

Drita D’avanzo: Yes. I met with Jill Zarin and Kelly Bensimon while I was hosting a party at the Chelsea Room. They were so friendly and we had a really nice time together. I was so flattered to hear that they are fans of mine. She [Jill] told me she loved me and that I’m beautiful in person… she was awesome.  Kelly the same.  I’m their fav which is great.

LK: Are you a Real Housewives fan?  Which franchises do you watch and who are your favorite housewives and why?

DD: I do watch the Real Housewives of NYC on occasion and I admire all powerful women from New York!  One of my favorites has to be Bethenny Frankel (well, Hoppy now!). I love how driven she is and it’s so nice to see her success.

Jill had to love this!  Jill the publicity hound finally got someone from another network to give her the time of day yet Mob Wives star Drita still chose Bethenny over Jill!

Until Next Time,,,,

That last paragraph could not be better. Once again Jill is foiled by that darn Bethanny. LOL!

    • FlowerPower says:

Good morning, HD! I didn’t see you there 😀

    • Karen says:

Lol drita was my fav before I read this because she comes across as brutally in your face no bullshit honest and she just proved she is

    • Mum says:

What is hilarious is that Jill thinks she’s some influential individual, I think that is super funny, after seeing her in action I wouldn’t allow her within 500 feet of anything I loved. I never held it against Bethenny for cutting Jill out of her life, it was the right thing to do for Bethenny and her family and I would have done the same.

    • lovemamaearth says:

lol Yes! And Jill befriending mob wives. Always a good move to associate with criminals. GO JILL. 🙂

      • Stella says:

It’d be funny if she did something like she did when she sent Kelly that e-mail for temporarily coming to a truce with Bethenny. Can you imagine what she would say/tweet/e-mail to Drita about liking Bethenny? If she did do that I’m sure Drita’s response would be PRICELESS.

  2. FlowerPower says:

LOL! That is too funny. Go Bethenny!!!!

  3. boston02127 says:

    Good morning.
Thanks for the great blog L & Q. I luv that pic of Rosey, she looks so happy. So funny about Jill kissing up & now she’ll read that Bethenny is Drita’s fav. Ha.
Are we going to have a blog on today’s Oprah? It’s her last show today.

    • quincyil says:

I will record it and write the blog for tomorrow, Boston. Lynn may have some more information about her adventure that she can add.

I met Oprah once when my children who are now around 30 were preschoolers. My nieces and nephews look like the United Nations. I had a group of 10 all about the same age. My mom was getting a promotion at the Post Office in Chicago so my sibling were at the event and I took the 10 little ones to MacDonalds on Michigan Ave. When I got in MacDonalds, I was afraid to leave the table with the kids to go and get the food and a nice lady at the other table with friends asked me if this was a preschool class. The kids told her that I was their mom and aunt. That nice woman was Oprah Winfrey. She saw that I did not know how to get in line and be with them so she and her friends talked to my children, nieces and nephews while I got the trays of food.

Later, when we were all joining hands to walk down the street to my hotel, Oprah and her friends walked with us and talked to the kids. Only my oldest and my sister’s oldest daughter remember talking to her.

      • boston02127 says:

You have a very amazing life Quincy. You never cease to amaze me!

        • quincyil says:

Oprah was often walking downtown back then. She lived in a condo on Michigan Ave. I know others who saw her. From that one experience, I knew she was a caring Human being. I think that is why so many people love her.

I have also met President Obama here in Quincy when he was our Senator. I filled sand bags at the same time as we were having a flood and he stopped by the Oakley Lindsay Center to help the volunteers.

I know Senator Durbin from the time he brought a flag to the elementary school my children attended after I, at the PTA President, asked his (then Congresssional )office for a flag that flew over the Capitol. (BTW, these flags are available and if you want one for your school call your US Congressman’s office. They will help you.)

I go to meetings when elected officials come to Quincy. I shook hands with President Clinton when he came here right after a State of the Union Address.

Governor Dukakis touched the heads of each of my children when he was campaigning for the Presidency.

Anyone can meet elected officials, you just have to pay attention to the news and go to their public meetings.

          • quincyil says:

If you are from IL, every Thurs. morning our US Senators have coffee and pastry with constituents in the Capitol Building in DC. Call your local office of the senator to make an appointment.

I bet others do it too, but since Senator Durbin took office, this is something anyone from IL can attend.

      • Mum says:

In our family we call that the rainbow coalition. Too cute.

        • quincyil says:

We have every genome…Viking, Mongols, African Tribes, Anglos/Saxons,German Barabarians,Persians/Aghans…..

          We call them a family.

      • Rabble Rouser says:

So Oprah would in fact eat a big mac.

        • quincyil says:

I don’t remember what she was eating, but she was eating. She was heavy backk then.

  4. quincyil says:

Yesterday, someone felt that I didn’t like being corrected and I just want to thank everyone for correcting me when I screw up. I actually appreciate the information and often copy and send to Lynn.

There are a number of eagle eyes on the board and their input is valuable.

    • Rabble Rouser says:

I must have missed that. I never got the sense you didn’t like to be corrected. I actually don’t remember you taking exception to anything. The closest was when you removed the link about the ‘false’ story in regards to Alex drinking while she was pregnant- and even then the member who posted it could see your point and agreed.

    • Suzieq says:

      Bryn is soooooo cute!!
I love how shes out and about but doesn’t have on the perfect designer outfit…just looks like they got up and decided to leave the house….so normal. /)

    • 2Stupid says:

      1) Jason needs a haircut;
      2) I love that Jason is wearing clothes straight out of Old Navy.
I love how they really don’t seem to be pretentious at all, and truly happy and comforatble in their own skin. JZ would not understand this and would try and always make it competitive. I am so glad she is gone, good riddance!!!!!

      • vilzvet says:

Wow, could Bryn be a redhead? She also still looks exactly like a Hoppy…I don’t think there’s a baby bump, Bethenny is stick thin as always. But hopefully I could be wrong 🙂

        • HD says:

I don’t see a baby bump. I think B looks thin. Bryn is cute and looks just like her dad. Jason looks nicer with short hair.

    • lovemamaearth says:

      Get well soon, Briana!!

    • cdnfillie58 says:

My dad had a CSF Leak (cerebral spinal fluid) about 10 years…developed into bacterial meningitis because doctors thought it was post nasal drip and sinus infections. It would literally pour out of his nose everytime he stood up or leaned over. Turned out he had banged his forehead (not seriously) on something and caused a rupture … they think the bacteria came from the golf course (he was an avid golfer) but it wasn’t until he started loosing his balance one day and had to be rushed to hospital that they diagnosed it correctly. They had to take some fat from another part of his body and use it to plug the leak…once he woke up from his 5 day coma. Scary stuff for a 75 yr old man to go through..I feel for Briana. Hope she gets better

      • NJ Bev says:

wow, that is an incredible story–how is your Dad
doing now? did the problems start when he was 64-65?
I’m sorry for what he’s been thru… sounds terrible.

        • cdnfillie58 says:

Thanks Bev…my dad passed away with a stroke 2 yr ago. His problem started about a year before they finally found what was wrong with him…he had the headaches and the constant fluid pouring out of his nose. They kept treating a sinus infection. I meant to say 10 yrs ago in my previous post .. 🙂

While i understand everything you have said about Theresa and i agree with most of it
out of all the NJ housewives i think she would be the most fun to hang out with
I have a funny feeling she loves gay men on the whole and enjoys a good fun party

I would never wanna get on her bad side as she would most likely fling me across a room LOL

rotfl…. We had leaky row boats when we were kids. You learn to be calm and paddle fast.

        • IndianaHousewife says:

I mention this only because I know there are sometimes issues with trolls, etc. During that little mix up with losing the blog this morning my aviator changed also. No big deal to me, but if anyone notices, it is still me.

          • quincyil says:

            Did it return?

That’s interesting. Maybe, it was some kind of early warning system that I should have noticed when it was flashing, “Danger! Danger!”

  9. IndianaHousewife says:

Hey good morning, Thanks Lynn & Q for all of your hard work on fixing the blog so early this morning.

I have a theory (or random strange thought) about the RHNJ. It all seems too calculated to me. I really wonder if the Guidice’s and Gorga’s got together before filming and discussed what they thought would need to occur in order to land their own spin-off show. Teresa and Juicy have already been chewed up in the press and blogs what would they have to loose if their family got in the mix and everyone ended up with big paychecks due to a new show.

It also makes me wonder if this is why Caroline and Teresa no longer get along, Teresa and family have basically stolen the show.

I do know I could be way off base here, it is just not sitting right to me. Also with all of the money troubles for both Tre & Juicy and Mel & Joe having back taxes and a balloon payment pending it would be pretty appealing to all.

    • quincyil says:

The Gorgas seem to have issues stemming from a decade ago when Teresa married Joe Giudice. The brother and sister had a dynamic which changed when each of them married. I suspect that both Teresa and Joe Gorga were competitive when it came to the attention of their parents even when young. They certainly competed for the largest mansion in NJ made of stone.

      • housewifeaddict says:

My hubs and SIL were close as children. There was adjusting to do as I joined the family – she was territorial and not exactly welcoming (cough – raving bi&&ch). But she got over it in a few years when she got her own husband and family. Families are tough – you marry a person, but get all their baggage.

    • housewifeaddict says:

That thought has gone through my head, but Joey’s emotions seemed too raw. I think M wanted to be on the show – T didn’t want her on it – so M agreed to come in with guns blasting.

Everyone talks about how stupid T is – but I’m not buying it. She does take time to process information – you can see her digesting it – and she definitely reacts to some trigger words – like foreclosure and nephew – but she’s very poised in her talking heads. She’s no Kelly.

She and her family are scary violent – but that makes me feel sorry for her rather than hate her. They need help. Her spending may have been a large part of their financial issues – but Joe is the crook – and the 11 million didn’t go on hairdressers and designer clothes.

      • Mum says:

I am going to give Teresa credit for not sitting on her fanny when their true financial condition was exposed. If I am looking at Teresa more it because she took a page from Bethenny’s book whether she wants to admit it or not and is earning an income for her family and her lifestyle. Her husband knows where he comes from and doesn’t appear to be above making pizzas for a living, they seem to be doing all they can to turn their situation around, they seem to be fighting and working for the lifestyle they want, hopefully, they’ve learned their lesson about facades and that you can’t fool all of the people all of the time and moved away from the moral corruption they practiced in the past. I believe in second chances when you prove you are willing to work to make things right, they do deserve some respect.

      • Rabble Rouser says:

I don’t think T is that smart, even a dog can be trained to ‘sic’- or ‘heel’ or ‘roll over’. The fact that she has trigger words in the same fashion that a dog would have command words, leads me to think she can’t process language well.

      • coocoopuffs78 says:

Thanks. I have bleached, febreezed and sanitzed every square inch of this house so these germs don’t stand a chance.

  11. Mum says:

I am identifying with Teresa because I have a cousin who treats me the same way Melissa does Teresa. She hates me for just being me, never knew my life was so great someone would be jealous.

I see Melissa as a bigger and uglier pig than Teresa. Re: Teresa comments about Bethenny, I think Bethenny can hold her own and Teresa wouldn’t go toe to toe with Bethenny because one thing she is not is a shrinking violet. I was a fan of Teresa’s before she took up with that Jill, but as we can all see Jill is no one’s friend and when she crosses Teresa that will be really great tv. I appreciate your support of Bethenny and enjoy your take on things but that Melissa is even a bigger shrew than Jill. One thing I have come to realize about reality tv is this, if you have a mental illness, family issues, jealousy issues, insanity, you should not be on reality tv. But the most egregious error of all Melissa committed was having anything to do with that sicko Kim G. Talk about wanting to vomit, Kim G. just makes me want to vomit.

    • quincyil says:

I have had that happen to me over the years. Sometimes, you think your friends would be happy when something great happens, but they act odd. I learned to ignore it especially if is comes from people I have to associate with like family members.

      • Mum says:

I have tried to be civilized about my own family issues, and I do consider myself a peace keeper but it doesn’t keep people from over stepping boundaries. I, personally am at the point that I feel like the only way to get my point across is to slap the crap out of cousin, she is avoiding me because she has driven a wedge between my Dad and I, and I don’t have his emotional support. I don’t even know what she said to him and now I don’t care. I don’t know why some people just can’t enjoy their own lives or think they can tell you how you should live according to their standards. I see that Teresa’s brother is hurting but the way Melissa runs her mouth I think she has planted all this negativity in her husbands mind, he may not be the brightest light bulb so he wants to protect and comfort his wife but these morons don’t get that this crap trickles down and affects and impacts all their relationships in the most ugly way. My mother says my problem is that I expect people to know and act better. I don’t have a jealous bone in my body and believe me just living in world keeps me busy enough that I do not have time to worry about how other people are living or what they are doing or how they are doing it, I am practicing self preservation.

    • Karen says:

i dont see melissa as even coming close to jill. it was so different to me . Jill tried to destroy someone who simply got her own show. and they were friends at the time. Melissa has probably had years of teresas crazy competetive sickness. Imagine the jealousy when her beloved brothra joey got married to a cute girl! teresa has to be center of attention #1 all the time. i cant imagine having her as an aquaintance, the thought terrifys me, i cant even think of how frightening having her as a sil would be.

  12. boston02127 says:

    Jill’s tweet~
Eyola left early this AM.. we will miss her terribly. Now Ally leaves Friday. I hate when people leave me. I feel so sad.
Jill, People leave you because of YOU.

    • katlg says:

      Who is Eyola?

    • dsc60 says:

i wonder where ally is going. i figured she would be coming home from college so jill would have her for the summer, not the opposite. i guess ally got a sweet taste of being away from jill so she’ll go just about anywhere for it to stay that way.

  13. WindyCityWondering says:

Thank you Quincy for doing PIH recaps. Finally over and finally a story that was worth watching – to see a father get it so strongly was touching! Rosie’s story was great as Wells (wink, wink) and I am happy for her family. It would be fun to see Rosie and Bethenny team up on a baby line of some sorts – they are both creative and get who is important in the new family dynamic a baby creates.

  14. nic says:

I asked this in the previous blog and I ask again: Why does anyone’s lack of love and support for Melissa = love and forgiveness of Teresa? I’ve seen only a handful of posters show full on support for Teresa in the last 2 comment sections. Can’t we have immense dislike for both of them equally without being lumped in to this “forgive and forget” category? I’m not trying to be snippy or cause trouble, I really want to know the answer to this and I hate to think that people think I like Teresa because I do not like Melissa or her sisters. (Kathy, I’m neutral on right now. I do think she made a bad decision trying to reason with the screaming banshee @ a public event).

And you are very correct- any benefit of the doubt I had reserved for Melissa flew out the window the minute she allowed Kim G into her circle. Can’t.Stand.Her.

    • housewifeaddict says:

I was wondering the same thing. Most comments seem to be a dislike of Melissa and Joey, but no love for T and Joe either.

For me three things that I don’t like about Melissa:
      1) the whining and obvious attempts to one up T – and the passive aggressive digs
      2) married to Joey – and making excuses for his violence at the christening
      3) the sisters and Kim G – why not tell them to STFU?

      • quincyil says:

The audience at the Fashion Show was over the top pro Melissa. I thought Kim G making those comments about booing Teresa was so Danielle.

I think people in Wayne, NJ, are like people everywhere and they know all about Teresa Giudice and Joe, her husband.

        • Mum says:

Who has the right to make someone’s life miserable and pick at them because they do not like the person? This is so adolescent to me that I can’t even go there because I consider myself an adult. This is bullying and a mentally sick obsession about another person too.

        • DJ Loops Fruit says:

omg have you ever been to Wayne NJ LOL
the only thing they really have is willowbrook mall and major flooding

sometimes it looks liek a swamp
ps its also where Johnny Queered used to practice

      • Rabble Rouser says:

I understand your confusion, I don’t quiet get it either until it occurred to me that most of them probably aren’t speaking about people like us who dislike both couples. IMO there is plenty of snark to go around 🙂

Or maybe they are just coming from a different place because T is so awful, they are willing to look past normal and healthy family dynamics so they are able to look past Malicious shadiness and that she is married to a circus animal that she controls through sex as if it were peanuts.

What I really can’t see, is why either one of the women have fans. I think Teresa fans are cut from the same cloth as Kate Gosselin fans- and some of them are probably one in the same. I don’t get how the more outrageous and violent she is, the more accolades she receives from them.

In this country men and women are coming home from a long and brutal war- broken and battered and are finding themselves on disability. They and their families are suffering from the financial strain and limited opportunities ..yet we have some lemmings praying for Teresa and Joe? Wanting to provide them with money- even though they have no intention of paying down their debt. They will continue to overspend-lie-cheat and steal.

It makes me sick to think about it.

    • Mum says:

Sometimes we have to learn the hard way and I have had my share of these so called friends, family, the thing about getting older and wiser is that you get better and faster at identifying and removing these people from your life before they cause any destruction.

I have this book at home about how women undermine each other in the work place and really it could apply to any group of women. Each group has some definable character type, it describes their characteristics to a “T.” Jill I think is the queen bee with a lot of acid mixed in, terrible human being and this I based off what I saw her do and heard her say.

    • codystl says:

I agree. I’m not on either “team”. As I said earler, they all are guilty of bad behavior. It reminds me of a bunch of junior high girls fighting.

I’m really disappointed that Bravo let Kim G film. She’s like a bad cartoon character.

    • Sam says:

Count me as one of those who dislike both Teresa and Melissa — although I suspect that by the end of this season my dislike for Melissa will have turned to hate. (Probably because that’s how Bravo will want me to feel.)

And I’m not surprised that the two women are so much alike, given that the guy who links them clearly has Sister Issues. (Halloween costumes can be revealing in more ways than one!)

As for Kathy, her association with Kim G. tells me all I need to know about her.

    • mamecastle says:

Melissa is taking a lot of hits because she’s married to Teresa’s brother, viewers think she should remain silent because of the family connection.

I don’t think this is true at all! While Teresa was a horrible bitch last season (& lied & cheated YES!!) I watch the show and all I see is Melissa baiting her and expecting a fight. Maybe we didn’t understand ALL the back story & drama when Teresa approached their table at the christening, but her brother’s reaction was so out of line! If they had a problem, ideally they would work it out elsewhere, but the Gorgas are the ones that escalated that scene. For me at least, it has nothing to do with weather or not they are related, just a little common sense from these to goons (Melissa & Non-Juicy) would go a long way.

    • JKW says:

Nic…I agree with you. I think Melissa and Joey are just as trashy as Teresa and Joe. I don’t like Melissa but I also don’t like Teresa…so it’s not a forgive and forget it’s lesser of 2 evils. Right now I don’t know which is the lesser. They are both idots that like to start drama. As of now I like Kathy. She didn’t tell Teresa she took care of the kids until she asked why didn’t she stay. Gee, I don’t know….think maybe she didn’t want involved in a brawl at a christening ?

      • sue says:

Wow, most of us have never said that T is now our fav., but when I and a few of my friends found this blog spot we liked it because a majority of you had intelligent views and also even though some people on these shows were slime, you seemed to always give credit where credit was due. In saying this, what I mean is that we all make mistakes and T and Joe made major ones for all the world to see, but we here really liked T in the first season because of the way she was w/her kids and her friends and yoiu could just tell that on that level she was good to go. As for Melissa, I sorry, but she gave a bad vibe from the beginning. My friends and I usually get together and watch the show, but w/NJ we could not, but when we all spoke about it the next day we all agreed that it was sooo obvious what Melissa and her sisters were about. They are about starting crap and it doesnt matter to them that family is involved, because Melissa, to us is very self-centered and her sisters are jealous of everything and are trying to get a piece of the pie that it would not surprise me if they would stab their own sister in the back because they are jealous ie. the phone call between t and M’s sister is very believeable!..One more thing, We all make mistakes and although T and J’s mistake was big, I truly dont think T knew the extent of it, but I am going to tell ya one thing, she got knocked down a lot of pegs, but she brushed herself off, looked in the mirror and basically realized she is not all that and I really, truly see that this experienced humbled her unlike Zarin who keeps saying she changed, but is still up to her same ways.

    • DJ Loops Fruit says:

with Theressa i dont loath her Like Jill Or Even as much as Icky
(PS to the poster that thought i wished Icky harm on one of the previous blogs)
      I didnt
she was already ill when i said i didnt care, try as i might i simply dont have that kind of voodoo power at my disposal
      Back to the Big T
like i said previously out f all the nj h/ws she seems like the one you would have the most fun with hanging out unless u got on her bad side then watch out LOL

  15. midwesthousewife says:

I can’t understand why, if the family divide between T and Mel is so deep, they would agree to be on a reality show together. I have a sibling that makes Slade look like father of the year and no amount of money could lure me into the same building as him much less put it on TV for the world to see! I do feel bad that I am depriving the scientific community the opportunity to study the phenom of my head exploding – such is life. And there is a portion of me that feels pity for him and the choices he’s made. Back to my point: I just feel like there is an agenda here and I want to know what it is (since they are putting this out there they are allowing it to be my business). No love for T here but she has already sealed her coffin and I wonder about Mel appearing to be gleeful at pounding in one more nail.

Contrast the above to my joy of JZ telling Drita she’s her fave and Drita turning around and saying, in effect, Bethenny is my favorite. Not enough nails in the world for JZ. I am a walking contradiction!

    • WindyCityWondering says:

The agenda is simple – money, earning, stealing, getting the money. When money means more than love or family then what should be important and attended to and cherished goes out the window. The Gorga/Guidice families want money more than anything else and don’t have a clue what is really important. They claim hearts broken in a million pieces, family means everything and they have work ethics and each other is their hero – it’s bs because it is all about money.

      • midwesthousewife says:

I know you are right and but it is still an alien concept to me. It is really too bad they don’t pay people for balancing checkbooks, shopping at thrift stores, and taking care of family and elderly parents. I’d be able to fix our leaky roof! But even I am bored by my own storyline which is why I watch these women.

  16. boston02127 says:

My neighbor has a lawn the size of a postage stamp and has been mowing it for over an hour. I could do it faster with a pair of scissors. He’s making my dog really nervous. (God, I need a life)

    • WindyCityWondering says:

My next door neighbor is the same way! I can cut and trim the front and back in 45 minutes. He takes over three hours. When you drive down the street our lawns look the same. I used to keep my dogs inside when he was doing his lawn because they would sit at the fence and bark at him. Now I leave the ladies outside and let them voice their discontent with his double/triple mowing/blowing and edging racket.

      • vilzvet says:

What is worse than the sound of a leafblower. I hear that in Cali they are outlawed in some towns! Awesome. That sound makes me sick. Almost all of my neighbors have a lawn service except for maybe one who does it himself (and us) and at least they do it quickly! I tell my husband to NOT mow during dinner hours because it is just courteous, I want to enjoy dinner in peace as well.

        • DJ Loops Fruit says:

you would hate it here because there isnt an hour in the day someone isnt using one and it goes on till november

    • Kansas Girl says:

A friend’s husband collects mowers. He finds them on curbs for free and takes them home to fix, but then keeps them in the garage. Their yard is so small that she says he can position the mower, start it, and be done without moving it. The best was the mower he brought home that had the wooden wheel. He has provided a lot of entertainment over the years.

    • T-REX says:

OMG! At least you can see your neighbor’s lawn. We got renters next door last year, I feel like I am living next to a junkyard, when I saw the third boat show up on the lawn, I finally have called the county. Hubby reports one boat left today.

ours is the same way except he owns a dog and we dont

as for the lawn its smaller then a dime yet he mows it daily i think maybe he has mental problems
these peole have 5 suv’s and there are only 4 living there

now here is a funny thing about Nutley
your not allowed to park in front of your house after 10 pm
because the streets are kind of narrow and its to avoid accidents
they have a garage but cant use it thats where the dog sleeps
so every night they have to pull all 5 suv’s into the driveway
and every morn the dad pulls em all out again at 5 am
i know im sounding petty but who wants to hear that every morn that early

oh and he is a HUGE racist and homophobe we have had friends over the house that were men of color that he would stand in front of his house cross his arms and look them down like he was someone special

Good morning all! I hope everyone is safe and dry after all of the tornado activity. I’ve not been able to read all of the wonderful recaps and posts the past few days. I’ve been busy with other pressing matters. To Jill: I know you will miss your company, now that they are leaving. You will have no one to listen to your constant complaining. Pressing question: Will they miss you? To Countess Squash Blossom High Horse: You forgot to suggest that you ship troublesome children and step children off to Paris to “study art”. That does make blending families so much easier, doesn’t it?
Again, I hope everyone is safe, sheltered and fed. Nature has been serving up heaping helpings of destruction.

Please line the walls of your bunker with the hubcaps from EUROPEAN automobiles. LuAnn will have less to work with when she starts designing jewelry…..

    • midwesthousewife says:

  19. WindyCityWondering says:

Oprah did it – without fanfare, special guests or secret surprises/gifts – that was a class finale straight from her heart.

  20. Mum says:

You know some people have earned their dislike, like Jill and Melissa, and even the Kathy too because no one really wants to see fractured families, no one really tunes in for the purpose to seeing families tear each down, no one likes a snob. Bravo is using a cheap production type to avoid paying actors, script writers to make money it is working for Bravo but is a detriment to the people who eventually ended up with ruined lives and ruined relationships. I am glad that Bethenny escaped from the witches but Bethenny was rising to the top before she was cast by Bravo. We heard about skinnygirl margarita the first time NY aired, she created her own brand before Bravo and used that platform in a very positive way and she is reaping the benefits today. Nothing good can come from or out of being driven by evil.

    • DJ Loops Fruit says:

  22. WindyCityWondering says:

All housewives have choices. They can chose to be nice, informative, supportive, jealous, backbiting, etc. Viewers have choices too and on blogs their opinions come out. Teresa defines Teresa – I’m not down with her definition. At the Baptism, her brother made the choice to take his life public and air his family’s dirty laundry on a tv show. IMO, Teresa’s reaction was genuine – are you kidding? – she has dealt with this moron her whole life and for once she just walked away. Joey Gorgon was determine to have his moment and his wife allowed it to happen. He ruined his son’s christening because he couldn’t just swallow his own jealous bile and say thank you for recognizing his son’s special day. No one picked up a phone for a week to straighten this mess out? People are demanding apologies? Maybe the Gorgon should call each and every guest and apologize for his behavior. Just a thought.

    • FLG says:

If Teresa and her brother had one brain cell between the two of them, I guess they would think they are the Carnegie’s of New Jersey. If Joey and his wife can get $500 for a 3 minute call, how come I haven’t had a single offer on my swampland in the Sahara?

      • California35 says:

I like Kathy also. . . for now. She and her husband seem like a nice couple, her husband is funny and I am wondering why Kathy said that he could some times be a bit “cokie”. I hope that doesn’t meant that he turns from this nice funny insightful guy to a loney like Kelly or something like that lol

  23. kbinldo says:

I like Kathy. I hope she’s not getting the short end of the stick from Bravo. Plus her husband is a cute nerdy kinda guy, not a gross, disgusting cartoon figure. 🙂

    • WindyCityWondering says:

IMO, Kathy should not have taken a side or inserted herself in the middle of this one. I like her husband too.

      • Swee says:

I’m not liking Kathy. And the husband looks like a creeper to me. Kinda surprised so many like him.

  24. California35 says:

LOVED to read about Drita D’avanzo interview!!! THANKS!! Jill and Kelly kissing her butt telling her how beautiful she is and how they are her fans. Sorry girls she still didn’t get blinded by all of that…LOVED LOVED LOVED that she mentioned Bethenny 🙂

Lynn, I do agree about Theresa. I don’t forget. I couldn’t believe that SHE started the fight with Danielle last season, I couldn’t belive that SHE acted like the victim, I couldn’t believe that SHE pushed Andy at the reaunion. That was a WOW moment. She has the rage problem and it was very weird to see someone calming her down the way they did. Joe on one ocasion holding her neck, and the next time Caroline on the reunion. She needs some serous help on that area…the only reason I didn’t jump into the Melissa wagen is because I still have not made up my mind about her. For now, I do see that she talks about Theresa and all (like we do :-P) and she might have to do with the separation of Theresa and Joe, but she might not. We know more of Theresa, and for that reason I kind of belive it. On the other hand, that brother…is looking, sounding and acting like Theresa…so for now I am blaming them and only them for their troubles, not Melissa.

  25. Noreen says:

I don’t care for Teresa but Melissa seems 100 times worse.

    • PurplePrincess says:

At this point the only thing Melissa seems to be guilty of is talking crap. Teresa on the other hand is guilty of not only talking crap but…the list is too long to get into.

  26. PurplePrincess says:

My dislike for Teresa is too strong and so far there is nothing that Melissa has done to change that. Anybody that think Teresa is a victim should rewatch some of the previous seasons. Teresa is getting paid and living a great life in her ‘cleansy’ 5 million dollar box while the tenants in her husbands ‘rerenovated’ apts live in squalor. While the people she stiffed go unpaid. Ain’t she nice?

    • WindyCityWondering says:

As the season goes by we will likely hear about some of the Gorgon’s shifty little stuff. The house they live in is not really theirs, they are stiffing people already (landscaper and garage door installer) and pretending that they are all that and a bag of chips. IMO, they are going down the road that Teresa and Juicy are on and will all meet up in the bankruptsy rodeo.

      • PurplePrincess says:

I never stated that I like Melissa just that there is nothing she’s done to make me like Teresa or dislike her any less. As with most of the HW’s the skelotons ALWAYS come to light!

    • Noreen says:

I dont’ understand why if I write I don’t like Melissa it gets translated into me thinking Teresa is a victim. Don’t think that, never did. My feelings for these women are just gut reactions. I feel that Melissa must always be the star and the rest should be watching her and thanking her. That kind of person just rubs me the wrong way. It has nothing to do with Teresa so get over it.

      • quincyil says:

You are correct. Logically, the two statemenet have nothing to do with each other.

Every here just has opinioins and they are nothing more than that. I find it funny that Jill and Ramona are in the same discussion and they see two completely different truths.

      • PurplePrincess says:

In my reply to you I was only disagreeing with Melissa being 100 times worse. All I’ve seen so far is her talking negatively about Teresa while Teresa on the other hand has done/said some really awful things. Just my opinon. I wasn’t trying to ignite a fight. Thought the reply button was meant to reply. No?

      • PurplePrincess says:

I think you mixed up my reply with the comment I made that was not in response to your comment. My post was me speaking in general. I can see how you may have thought it was directed at you. Sorry! 🙂

  29. Duchess of Dryer Lint says:

Lynn, I think you nailed it for me with the family comment.
You ask if Melissa was not family would I have the same reaction to her? On the one hand, I can’t stand LuAnn and Melissa is a carbon copy with her manipulations behind the scenes, backstabbing, and passive/aggressive crap. I would probably be calling her out on that stuff in any case. HOWEVER, as contradictory as it sounds, with the past behavior of Teresa and Juicy, I have to admit there would have been some mental high fives going out for some of the slams on them as well. Like when Melissa said “We pay OUR bills!” From a stranger it gets a laugh and an”Oh no she didn’t!” (ala Bethenny) with a finger waving in a circle. From your BROTHER’S WIFE it gets a “Oh NO she did not just say that!” with a hand over the eyes in dismay.
But, more than that, after reading the blogs I just see a meanness of spirit in the motivation of Melissa for getting on the show. Like for 2 years she was sitting around telling anyone who would listen that SHE was the pretty one, SHE was the funny one, SHE was the star, and SHE SHOULD BE THE ONE ON THIS SHOW! It is almost like a bad movie scene where the bridesmaid has a breakdown and starts screaming “This should be my day. I am prettier and I should be the one getting married. Why can’t I be the one!!!!!” Rather than be happy for her own family getting this shot at her 15 minutes, Melissa mired down in jealousy that it wasn’t her.
She is willing to air family dirt in order to get her 15 minutes, and try to start some music career with the exposure. She is willing to expose her husband in his most vulnerable state, goad him to reactions that are as extreme as she can encourage them to be, and if things escalate potentially sacrifice the chance for a reconciliation between a brother and sister that were obviously once very close. All for the sake of HER 15 minutes. And while it can be argued that ALL the housewives are willing to do this when they sign up for these shows, Melissa is the first one that we KNOW, beyond a shadow of a doubt, was signed on to this show SPECIFICALLY because she would be the goad to egg on more drama. Bravo had no interest in her for 2 seasons, she auditioned and was turned down. As long as Danielle was around, there was enough drama to satisfy Bravo and her agenda was not needed. Once Danielle was gone Bravo needed some focal point and remembered Melissa and the drama she could potentially bring. SHE was willing to bring it. SHE has worked hard for this chance, campaigning and auditioning both in her town and with Bravo. Her sole reason for being cast is that she is the “sister-in-law who has a feud with Teresa and this is gonna be some good fighting!” No one was interested in HER as a housewife, but they LOVE the potential for the CONFLICT she can bring.
I am really kind of grossed out by BOTH her willingness to destroy her brother’s family for her 15 minutes, AND by Bravo’s glee in promoting it. As I type this I am not even sure I can keep watching it. Now my stomach hurts.

    • Noreen says:

OMG – you put into words exactly how I feel about Melissa and I why I think she is just an awful person. Thank you!

    • Mum says:

Just as I imagined it myself and the christening explosion was the result of years of the fire burning inside of them that Melissa has created. Shame, shame, shame. It is not worth it. I literally broke my heart to see her brother talk to their parents that way, when he said something Momma you are cold, I got confused thinking did the channel change to a sopranos episode, that is the honest to God truth.

I just left the Bravo blogs and several posters have pointed out to Melisa that that spouses can be replaced but family is forever. Sometimes I regret that. I told my younger brother (thee family problem child) saturday after he had been bailed out of jail that morning, to please let up, I needed a rest and not to call me, so far it has been like three days but when the phone rings my hands starts shaking. Lord save me, save me!

    • klmh says:

That’s an interesting set of comments.

One problem for me is, did Melissa feed her husband liquor so that he would call his sister garbage and act like a complete ass during his child’s baptism to not only his sister but his parents?
I thought I heard M. say let it alone or something to that effect, at the table, but he burst out with rude comments and pounded the table. I also think I saw him shove M. I also believe I heard him say something at the table like, I’ve shut you up before but you can talk now, or something like that.
I am not taking M. side because Im sure she is feeding him hatred about the G.’s, but I saw her try to distance herself from commenting when asked by Kim G. what happened. She him-hawed around but finally said something.
I think you have to look at Joey. He loves being the center of attention as well, and he has some buttons that should be disabled. I think he is an arrogant ass. jmo

      • Lavalady says:

I really don’t think Melissa fed her husband alcohol, rather I think his male guests did. We saw him taking shots at least twice surrounded by all men, toasting to “his son, his son”.

        • Duchess of Dryer Lint says:

Don’t get me wrong. Joey owns his behavior. I am not saying she poured the booze in him or told him to get all wapped out at the christening. But she WAS dropping comments in his ear about how phony his sister was being WHILE knowing he was not in a great frame of mind. AND for 2 years, by her own admission, he was at all the parties and this never happened. Now, when SHE is being filmed and SHE has been hired specifically to bring this drama, NOW he explodes? Hmmmmm….

        • WindyCityWondering says:

And his wife knows how to push the buttons – YOU don’t tell the fidget not to do something because then he will! Gas meet match meet explosion!

  32. Mum says:

I’ve really enjoyed my day on Lynn’s blog, I feel some sort of bonding has taken place inside of me. If it weren’t for Melissa, I don’t think the show would have matter that much to me but to see the insanity. Caroline got it right, kill yourselves in your own home. To this day I will not share a ride to a family event/activity, never know when you’ll need to escape.

  33. Arya Stark says:

For me, it’s not about “forgiving” Theresa, or even liking her.

It’s about feeling sorry for her in this particular situation. It’s about, in this specific incident, she was NOT the bad guy.

I can’t stand Melissa, and her drunken brute of a husband? ZERO excuses. None. Not even his little snake of a wife obviously stirring him up to hate his sister.

Someone asked why they would sign to be on the show together.

Theresa said that she did not know that Bravo was even thinking of signing them until after she signed her contract. She specifically refused to be on the show in the beginning if they also signed Melissa. Now, from the Melissa and Kathy camp they seem to be spinning this as some kind of vindictiveness on Theresa’s part.

It’s much more likely that Theresa, knowing about this rift, and not wanting her parents to be subjected to watching this or explaining how a brother could hate his only sibling so much to their friends, not to mention her own embarrassment of having something so very real and very hurtful aired. Or that she knows what a sneaky little bitch Melissa is, and didn’t want to have to deal with it. Let alone have her brother lose his shit on camera and call her names.

Melissa, Kathy, and the Kims are obviously willing to do whatever it takes to be on television, and Melissa thinks this will launch her pop star career. She is willing to do whatever it takes to be interesting enough to keep those cameras on.

So, that’s good for viewers, because this show is deadly dull, and having her on certainly spiced things up.

BUT, I did see the pain in Theresa. I don’t think she did one single thing wrong at that Christening. I think she was devastated, and I hurt for her. Not because I have “forgiven” or “forgotten” one single thing. Simply because I watched another human being being completely crushed on television.

The poll question was about the side you were on IN THIS PARTICULAR SITUATION.

For me? Theresa. (and considering all the shit she has pulled, that’s a pretty big thing, because no, I don’t think people are idiots for having sympathy when they watch another human being in pain.)

“As the season goes by we will likely hear about some of the Gorgon’s shifty little stuff. The house they live in is not really theirs, they are stiffing people already (landscaper and garage door installer) and pretending that they are all that and a bag of chips.”

I wouldn’t be a bit surprised a bit if they do turn out to be just like Tree and Juicy, but so far, isn’t this all just speculation about the Gorgas? On that stoopidhousewives site, and on other sites, it was claimed that they never owned their home but are just squatting there illegally while the show was being filmed, only a commenter then posted their mortgage info showing that this was absolutely untrue. It was also claimed that they are con artists because they allegedly had a 2.5 million dollar balloon payment at the end, and obviously(?) they’ll skip town before that comes due, but their public mortgage info shows that they don’t have a balloon payment due. In fact they did have one but they converted it to a regular thirty year mortgage some time ago. Wouldn’t such public mortgage info imply that they do indeed own the home they’re living in? It was also claimed that there were many liens against their house (which would have to be some kind of legalese miracle if they didn’t even own that home and were only squatting there, no?) that supposedly came about because they didn’t pay various contractors, such as garage-door-opener installers, but other commenters there reported searching the public records and being unable to find these alleged liens. So what do we really know?

Like I’ve said, I won’t be shocked if I do eventually learn that the Gorgas are some sort of scammers or whatever (hey, they’re related to Teresa and they volunteered to be on reality TV, so they’re automatically suspect IMO!), but at this point, is there any real evidence of their illegal activities, or are we just assuming there must be because the Gorgas have been accused by a so-called “reliable source” who insists on remaining anonymous? Personally, I didn’t believe everything I read & heard about Teresa & Juicy’s scamming ways until I saw the evidence of it, so I guess I should probably try to judge Melissa and Joe by that same standard.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Smompy – nice post. I agree – show me the evidence, especially when it concerns financial matters (having a construction loan with a hugh balloon payment converted into a conventional mortage was a wise decision on the Gorgas’ part, especially since they are on tv). My opinion of Melissa and Joey fidget is currently based on what we have seen on the show. Even with editing, I believe Joey fidget started that brawl – it wasn’t about his sister but about his unchecked ego, his jealousy of Juicy and his terrible relationship with his parent. Melissa aided and abetted in the fiasco. I dislike Teresa for many reasons but this mess is not her fault nor does she owe Melissa or the fidget an apology. She knows her brother, his motivation, his moves – and she knows you don’t poke the beehive unless you want to get stung!

  35. WindyCityWondering says:

Pretty little Melissa – the new freshman housewife scared of all those senior housewives wanting to make a good impression. Well in high school land freshmen are dirt and seniors know it. SO here is a clue – Teresa is in the cool group. The cool group got rid of big bad Danielle and banished Kim G. They know your husband started that baptismal brawl and any apology should be coming from him. IMO, your freshman year isn’t going to be an easy one.

She takes off walking with one of the interventionist following and trying to talk sense to her. She still won’t listen and sticks out her thumb. A lady pulls over and asks if the interventionist and camera crew are bothering her, she says yes and takes off with the lady.

At this point, her family calls a lawyer, they meet with him and file a Marsh Act (I think that’s what it was called). This means a judge will decide if she goes to jail, rehab, drug court, etc. Now they just have to see if she shows up for court. The End. Basically we are left hanging.

Nope, don’t feel sorry for Teresa. I think her brother thought that it would be a good time to get even and it back fired. She’s a tuff, hot tempered, loud mouth lady.

Her sad looking face on live – nope, don’t believe it.

    • Smompy says:

Yeah, that’s the thing…this is Teresa we’re taklking about here. Her sad face doesn’t affect me any more than one of Jillzilla’s WOE-IS-ME blubbbering jags
affects me. Also, it seems to me if someone feels bad for Teresa solely because she looked like she was in pain at that christening (and I’m not saying
she wasn’t), then shouldn’t they also feel bad for Joe Gorga? Because he certainly looked to be in pain there as well. Putting aside hs violence and over the top language for a moment, at one point he was literally sobbing in front of his parents, and I really don’t think he was faking that pain. Pain is pain, right?

A lot of people apparently feel that Teresa was not the bad guy at that christening. That’s a perfectly valid viewpoint and I sort of agree with it to some degree. But rather than saying Teresa was not the bad guy, I’d probably say Teresa was not *THE* bad guy. IOW she wasn’t the only one at fault there but she wasn’t without fault either. Drunken Joe Gorga was a bad guy. Juicy Joe Joo-dice was a bad guy. Melissa’s sister was definitely a bad guy. Melissa was probably a bad guy. The senior Gorgas were probably bad guys. Melissa was almost certainly a bad guy, although I never saw her actually egging the fight on at all. And Teresa herself was, at least to some extent, a bad guy too. Her congratulations was not innocent or sincere. It was fake nad smarmy. She clearly had an ulterior motive in going to that table, and she had to know it would not be well-received. Plus, despite what she keeps saying now, Teresa did not immediately walk away when her brother started getting worked up. She kept turning and coming back and saying things to get a response from him, and she certainly seems to have played a part in getting her own husband involved in the fracas as well. The only person I saw there who was NOT a bad guy there (with the exception of that guy who stood on the table shouting about how everyboy was acting like animals) was Kathy. She walked away, took care of her kids and even looked out for Teresa’s kid(s). And for that she was critcized and called a liar by Mz. Teresa. So…..yeah, Teresa was not the biggest bad guy at the christining, not by any means, but to me she was still a bad guy.

      • MAMAZ says:

That’s it exactly – Teresa is not *THE* bad guy but she is by no means innocent or a victim.

I don’t care for any of the cast members on NJ really, but I think Melissa had an agenda for T and it went off just like she hoped it would. Sure she told joey to “stop it” I mean she had took look like she was all concerned, right? right. Her sister needed someone to slap her in the mouth, what a bitch she is. But Melissa did not come off as a nice woman from the get go. But joey was way out of line calling T garbage. Where do these people get that term from? Remember that is Caroline’s favorite term for Danielle. He is just a nasty little guy who blames his sister and b-i-l because he doesn’t have a relationship with his parents. Now that is BS. I can see why he doesn’t have the relationship tho, if I was to ever talk to my father like he spoke to his, I’d be picking my teeth up off the floor first of all for talking to my mother like he did. My father never put up with nonsense of any kind. You spoke to them with respect and never raised your voice to either one of them. joey is a little jerk, and someone needs to kick his ass until he gets the point driven home to him. If he has a problem with JJ telling his father things, then he should take it up with JJ, not T and certainly not his father or mother. I think he is a violent little man, he should never be allowed to drink, as it is apparent he can’t hold his booze either. He show no respect for his wife, his children, family or friends period, otherwise he would not have done and said the things he did. In my book he is a number one asswhole not worthy of anything. He and Melissa are made for each other………….

    • Smompy says:

LOL when Joe called his sister “garbage” I was thinking, Oooooh, Caroline is gonna be so pissed! ‘Cause that’s HER go-to insult.

    • Rabble Rouser says:

ITA- the balls on Joey. I don’t know how someone could humiliate their mother then 2 seconds later demand respect from his father after he just insulted his wife.

    • California35 says:

I kept thinking that he is like Theresa. He likes the attention, his feelings were “hurt” if he doesn’t get it, he is a show off, and have the “sex/hot” talk. At some point (or over and over) he got his feelings hurt and he is reacting poorly. They both have the rage problem, and this one tops it up with the alchool.

I think we will be seeing a lot of those bandanas (and that other thing he wore to dinner) on his head. He tries hard to cover up his boldness. He probably has the same as his dad has.

I haven’t watched this episode yet. I tried commenting on the first of the RHNJ blog but it didn’t show up.

Anyway, I am also one of those who isn’t team T or M. I find them both equally disgusting. I haven’t forgotten anything Teresa has done or said. She is a violent woman who can dish it out but can’t hear a word spoken against herself. In one sense I feel like she deserves what she is getting. BUT….

It does matter to me that Melissa and Joe G are trashing family. I do think they are worse than Cindy B. You never, never, NEVER take sides against the family. NEVER! Especially not in public, not when your parents are still living.
It’s like a criminal who will shoot a cop. If he has no respect for the authority of law inforcement there is nothing he will not do. Likewise if someone is willing to trash their family there is nothing they will not do against anyone else.
M&J Gorga have crossed a line for me and I don’t know if I could ever see them as anything other than conniving famewhores. Throw in the fact that it seems as if they are open to befreinding the Kims and I can’t feel anything but revulsion for them.

I obviously can’t speak for Lynn but I assumed when she talks about Teresa gaining sympathy and winning back fans she isn’t neccesarily talking about us here. If you read some of the other blogs many people are behaving as if Teresa is an innocent victim.

    • quincyil says:

  42. WindyCityWondering says:

Melissa said she was interviewed before this season. BRAVO didn’t select her and IMO, Teresa had no say in that decision because from the beginning, RHNJ was Manzo centric. Yet Melissa feels Teresa kept her and her egomanical, famewhore husband from being on the show. Teresa invited M&J to her family events – who did the editing – BRAVO not Teresa. What was telling for me was the after taking their kids out trick or treating M&J left their precious, scared for life because of the brawl at his baptism baby boy bat on the floor as they gleefully raced up stairs for their close up. Melissa’s beef is with Bravo and she is using her brother’s relationship with Teresa to create drama and attract fans!
I know exactly why I don’t like Teresa and I am seeing exactly why I don’t like Melissa and the fidget.
And for all the cousin Kathy love going on – hey I gotta problem with her too – you just don’t get involved in a brother/sister feud and you don’t take sides and you never ever play double agent!
So an interesting rookie line up overall, but they haven’t gotten the law according to Caroline down yet. That will be fun!

    • Rabble Rouser says:

Seriously, all the drama of last season with Danielle- and Ashely being charged criminally- and Melissa thinks T really went out of her way to stifle “My SIL is a 30 year old who thinks they are a singer” story line.

      • WindyCityWondering says:

In all fairness – little kids do tend to think it is all about me! me! me! So maybe someone can lend Melissa a hairbrush and she can go practice in the bathroom mirror some more, while the grown ups do their grown up things.

  43. wut says:

As far as Lynn’s NJ blog goes, I feel she should take no sides and just call it like she sees it. That doesn’t mean she “likes” Teresa. But glossing over Melissa & Joe’s actions is transparent. I don’t agree with the “they get a pass because they’re newbies” approach, and I don’t think Lynn would either, normally. I’m not sure what’s going on.

    • Rabble Rouser says:

Personally, I disagree with Lynn’s takeon the situation. But what do you mean, you ‘aren’t sure what is going on?’ Do you think Lynn is on the payroll of something? What would Lynn have to gain by giving Joey and Mel a pass if it wasn’t how she really felt?

Lynn isn’t really digging season 2 Sonja despite her giving Lynn and interview. I hardly think a few DM’s on twitter with Mel and the sinister sisters is the reason she is biting her tongue.

      • quincyil says:

Lynn calls them as she sees them. I disagree with Lynn about Sonja and NJ.

I like that Lynn has a point of view. I doubt we would feel as comfortable speaking our minds if this site was Just The Fact’s Ma’m recital. These shows are designed to elict our feelings and opinions.

I personally don’t really have an opinion on the NJ women. All of them are simply jumped up trash anyone could find at their local mall. All of their screeching at one another is actually pretty boring.

That is the exact reason NY has become dull & irritating. Nothing but unrelenting bitchy high school behavior reinacted by middle age women. It used to be interesting when the the ladies seemed to have brains and each of them had outside interests rather than dumping on each other.

    • DJ Loops Fruit says:

how can anyone call it as she see’s it and then be blamed for taking sides ???
Lynn has every right to take a side if that is how she feels

  44. California35 says:

I didn’t watch last season of NJ because I just didn’t like or related to any of the wives. I am not saying I relate to others or have to relate lol. The thing is that I am watching again this season because there are new people in it. So far I am not interested or excited about any of them. I will continue to watch because I want to visit the board and know what is going on 🙂

I have a different situation with NY but kind of the same about how excited I am (not) about watching them. It is too bad, now all the other shows (not reality tv) are ending for the summer and some for good (I will miss Tara :-(). I wonder how long the Real Housewives will last. I wonder how much longer Bravo will have them. I wonder why not get new wives every season, so no wife feels she is on the top of the “pecking order”.

Bravo – Please get new wives even if from the same cities you already have. Either that or start creating other shows, instead of showing us THREE Rea Housewives shows per week.

All those acting lessons and I will never forget the look on Gia’s face when they went to the voice coach and she was asked to say dog, an instead she said dawg. She was embarrassed then too. I can still see her looking over at T when the coach ask her where she heard it from. If T & joey’s folks have money, they should get the hell on a plane and go back to Italy. Let these nuts fend for themselves. And if T always invited M & joey when they did events, where were they when they made the trip to Italy last year? They’re all full of shit.
As for Kim G. she is gonna get her tatas in a wringer one of these days and ain’t gonna be no one around to help her either. What I don’t understand, is why she thinks she can be by with all the crap she says and stunts she pulls, Bravo ain’t gonna pay her lawyer fees if someone sues her ass for slander, etc.

  46. WindyCityWondering says:

Now I am pissed. After reading the RHNJ blogs, my summary is as follows: Melissa is getting schooled for both JOey and her behavior at the christening and messing with the brother/sister dynamic; Kathy is getting called out for butting in where she shouldn’t and taking sides; Caroline is getting mad props for keeping the rookies in check at the fashion show; Teresa is getting her usual love, love, lovefest and Jac is stilling riding the woeful parent train. Now why am I mad? Because Bravo is letting all opinions play on the NJ blog and they are still painting RHNY like they always have and I know I am not the only one who hates Jill Zarin!

  47. Arya Stark says:

I almost wonder if the NY wives, probably based on some deal Jill cut, had a ratio of positive comments demanded on Bravo blogs.

I can’t see Alex doing that, but something is certainly up with the RHNY BRAVO blogs. For one thing, less than FIFTY responses, while NJ zooms into the hundreds in a day or so?

It’s fishy as hell, as well as annoying.

  49. kotagirl29 says:

Well I don’t care if family runs down family. In my opinion, who better than family to see someone at their worst and best. I have always been the type to get mad at people outside the family for saming the same things I have said about family members. I told an ex-boyfriend that it was okay for me to call my sister a bitch, but it was no okay for him to do it. I’m certainly not going to give Teresa a pass on her behavior because it is family that is calling her out, but I am also not going to automatically side with Mel and Kathy because they are.

As for the interview with Drita. . .

karma’s a bitch and so is Shill. She spent so much time running Bethenny down, but all that did was help boost her up and I love the fact that Bethenny is Drita’s favorite.

  50. Weirdo says:

I’m interested in the Morocco trip, but am wondering how the scenes of Alex running after Kelly play out, as well as Ramona crying on the bed. It’s almost like someone wants them to come out looking like the crazy ones, much like Kelly last year. Except for one little thing, Kelly WAS crazy.

Maybe someone should tweet it to her or PM her on facebook.

Someone should also call Jill out and see if she is still going to support the blog-since it’s now a ‘hate blog’.

If Ramona wanted to strike back, what better way than giving Lynn an interview.

      • Nancy says:

That is a GREAT idea! How can we pull this off?
Honesty I would hire an attorney to expose who “Lisa” really is.
        Lynn, Q, help us!!!!!

        • Rabble Rouser says:

I don’t have a link to Lisa NE’s blog- but if someone posts it, I am guess we can either PM it to her on FB or post it on her facebook wall.

    • Sarah R. says:

I wasn’t here last night. Would someone mind explaining what Lisa’s blog is?

    • Adgirl says:

Lisa doesn’t allow comments I guess. She must be bff’s with Jenn Steals. I couldn’t ask her why it’s “neurotic” for Ramona (actually her assistant) to keep an email for months (what? doesn’t Lisa have a real job – of course emails are saved actually for years) but Lisa didn’t think it was neurotic for JILL to keep a voicemail for 4 months (Get a Hobby resave, resave, resave)???

WTF. I will never go back to her site because I don’t want her to have any good traffic #s.

Good observation. I would keep everything from Jill Zarin in a vault. You never know when you will need them.

    Bethenny #40 in Forbes.
Kelly (her tweet)—-Almost to FIFI awards. So excited to be a presenter.

    FIFI awards vs Forbes.
Hmm….Kelly, Sad news 4u….you’re down there.

Wow, glad I was not the only one who sensed the tone of the posts turn a little (been reading your blog for about a year now). ITA with you, Lynn. I am surprised how amnesia hit this blog. Teresa is and remains (so far) as awful as she revealed herself to be last season –for all the reasons you so aptly listed.

I simply enjoy watching someone, anyone, give old Tree as good as she’s given.

Does anyone know what the winner of American Idol gets?

No new Top Chef tonight, I am disappointed.

Good Morning everyone. I have been away a bit, but you’ve been on my mind. I know a vast amount of posters, are in harms way with this horrible weather. I can’t imagine experiencing this form of devastation. You’re in our prayers.

    Good morning. Welcome back butterisafruit.

I only watched the first show. That alone would have me moving out of town. I don’t think these adults realize what they do spreads far and wide. The show isn’t hurting her children near as much as her own actions.
T can fight with the press and garner all the support with other housewives but her family will carry the weight. She put this on their shoulders, LITTLE shoulders.

    • T-REX says:

UGH! If I hear one more of these RH-Thugsinadress rant on about anything to do with the word “Bully” I am going to scream!
