I Hate Jill Zarin The Real Housewives of Orange County Lost Footage Special
There is nothing “special” about having to watch Tamra Barney and Vicki Gunvalson continue to develop their mean girls persona’s. These two women are enjoying the title of two of the most hated housewives in history. Worse than Taylor Armstrong, worse than Kim Zolciak and worse than Michaele Salahi. (no one is worse than Jill Zarin!)
Maybe it is simply because the others aren’t on TV at the moment but I can’t remember Taylor, Kim or Michaele being as bad as these two. Tamra smiles and giggles as Alexis is telling viewers about her father dying, postpartum depression and having financial difficulty. Tamra apparently forgets that just last season she had to short sale her house and left her husband because the funds ran out. As long as she was getting birthday parties on yacht’s and Rolex watches, it was all great and loving with Simon. I firmly believe that if Simon was still rolling in the dough, Tamra’s ass would still be under Simon’s thumb.
Tamra thinks that Gretchen is jealous of her? Who would be jealous of the washed up 40+ housewife whose face looks like it is literally melting and pretending to be a teenager and doing soft-porn on a reality show?
From Tamra’s Blog:
After watching the reunion show, I laid in bed that night thinking for hours about how sad all the women appeared when discussing what happened this season. So many things went through my head, and the one thing that stood out most was how the truth has always, and will always, prevail.
Tamra doesn’t know truth from fiction anymore, this grown woman, mother of four children spends all of her time delving into Gretchen and Slade’s life and for what? Simply so she can attack them on a reality show? It is possible that what Tamra is saying is true but she has no proof, she is assuming a whole lot about both Slade and Gretchen but the bottom line is that it truly is none of her business what they do with their lives and she has more than enough to worry about in her own life and should focus on her own family.
From Vicki’s blog:
Donn’s comments about respecting him and giving him dignity — I did both. I respected Donn through our entire marriage and even after we filed. In fact, I still respect Donn. We have known each other for a very long time, and the last thing I want to do is to hurt him. What you don’t know is I’ve been hurt too by many things that Donn has done to disrespect me, and I will never talk about it or disclose any of them. What good will it do?
Vicki respected Donn through their marriage? Was it only on-screen in front of millions of people that she disrespected Donn? Because we saw her being extremely disrespectful, rude and condescending with her husband. We’ve also watched as she hit on other guys and shamelessly flirted with other men on-screen.
Not to mention the photos…
Vicki says she’s not going to spill all the things that Donn has done to her, she asks viewers why she would bad-mouth Donn, what good would it do? I don’t believe that Donn was disrespectful to Vicki, of course he isn’t perfect but with the exception of Peggy’s dinner party, Donn was very respectful to his wife on-screen and in talking head interviews. Vicki, on the other hand was constantly making snide comments and trying to belittle her husband.
I sincerely hope that Donn Gunvalson finds a wonderful woman who shows him respect and makes him happy. I sincerely hope that Vicki Gunvalson gets taken for all of her money by a deadbeat dad who lives with Eddie Judge.
From Tamra’s blog:
It’s obvious that no one should be in anyone’s personal business, and it makes me sick that we all have stooped to that level. I know in my heart that Slade’s child support issues are not my business, but I am not about to sit there and listen to Slade and Gretchen accuse me of cheating on Simon, claiming Eddie was Simon’s best friend, that I have no regard for my kids, or creating unfounded rumors about Eddie without even knowing him.
I love her opening line in this paragraph, she is sickened that they have “all” stooped to that level. I don’t think “all” the housewives have stooped to your level Tamra, maybe Jeana stuck her nose in your business but we didn’t see anyone on-screen sticking their nose in your business the way you have with Slade and Gretchen. No one else is calling your ex asking for dirt. Just you! We’re all sickened by you too Tamra!
Tamra’s low-class beginnings are evident in her blog and really in everything she does and says.
So I think to myself, “Why do they think it’s OK for them to bash me about my personal life? Is it for the sole purpose of getting attention? Is it to get so much attention that the lie becomes a twisted truth? Perhaps it’s to take the attention off of him and make me look like I am the only one talking about him?”
She even thinks to her self stupidly! Who is looking for attention by calling Slade’s ex? We all heard what the woman said, she said that Slade wasn’t paying “expenses”, she never confirmed that he wasn’t paying child support in fact she said there were records of what he DID pay in child support. Reports are that Slade’s ex won’t allow him to see his son, that sounds pretty immature and will only hurt the child…but I digress, back to Tamra.
Does it piss me off? Yes! But there is a logical side of me that’s learning to say, “Who cares what they say!” What I am learning is that it takes a stronger person to ignore the lies and rumors that they are saying about me.
Ignore what lies and rumors? That you slept with Eddie before your divorce was final? That’s a fact! That you spent the week that you were supposed to spend with your children in Spain with your lover and left your kids with your mother? Another fact!
Gretchen’s blog is full of “facts” although she does need to learn the difference between a fact and her opinion. She’s not spreading rumors or lying, and much of what she says in her blog are facts but many are opinions too.
On to the show:
Did Vicki really say that if Donn didn’t want to get divorced he would fight for her? How much does she really want to humiliate this man? He has already been made a fool of for six years on television. She’s cheated on him, she’s been nasty to him, she’s snarked at him and she’s made fun of him. Vicki thinks Donn should humiliate himself more by begging her not to divorce him? Vicki said herself that she froze the guy out of her life. Her business trips and late nights at the office made it clear that she had no more interest in her husband, she admitted that she lost the passion for her husband but she really thinks that he should continue to try to hold onto this marriage? Is she trying to ensure that viewers have absolutely no respect left for this man the way she does? What a bitch!
I admit that I was a little disappointed to learn that Lynne Curtain wasn’t going to be on the show this season. While I thought she and her husband were ridiculous as parents, they had no idea what they were doing but the one nice thing about Lynne that was rare in a Bravo Housewife is that she didn’t have a mean bone in her body. She wasn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer and sometimes she was shopping with an empty cart but she was always nice. She never sought out to make another housewife look bad and she rarely spoke badly behind other’s backs.
A few disappointments tonight, the first one is to find out that Lynne is friends with Tamra! The second disappointment is that Gretchen really did rip off the handbag deal from Lynne! I’ve always been on Gretchen’s side even when reports came out that her cosmetics were really just a generic brand that she slapped her name on and it failed I didn’t hold it against her but this handbag thing is different.
Lynne Curtain was offered the line and turned it down as she wanted to create her own designs, Gretchen then met these people through Lynne and made a deal of her own. As Lynne explained how this company works, Gretchen has basically done the same thing with the handbags as she had done with the cosmetics. Lynne said it, “you just slap your name on them”.
Quite honestly had Gretchen done this to Tamra I probably could have forgiven Gretchen but Lynne Curtain is a sincerely nice person who has only good intentions. Even as her children walk all over her, it is simply because she doesn’t want them to dislike her.
Lynne’s not a genius but she’s not mean. I have a feeling the only reason Bravo dumped her is because she probably failed the drug test.
The meeting between Gretchen and Lynne really showed Gretchen’s guilt to me, she was defensive but really had no defense at all, she just kept trying to make Lynne look bad by saying she never listens yet Gretchen wasn’t saying anything. Those computer printout’s that she pulled out of her bag were merely color and fabric samples with some horrible drawings. Lynne asked her where she shops for her leather and Gretchen just kept telling Lynne to listen to her. Gretchen couldn’t answer the question and just ended up storming out of the restaurant. Gretchen acted like a guilty person.
I had no idea that Lynne had expanded her business from cuffs to bedding, furniture and even dog collars. I hope Lynne’s business does great, she can give away a hash brownie with every sale! I kid I kid!
I know you all join me in feeling the deepest sympathy for Gretchen who weighed 140 pounds at her heaviest and was destroyed about it….sigh!
Vicki’s book signing was rightfully cut out of the regular season, unfortunately we had to hear that horrible song written about Vicki by a fan coupled with a montage of Vicki being horrible and saying “woohoo” over and over. I literally cringe every single time she says that!
In another embarrassing scene, Donn Gunvalson takes Vicki’s dog to OC Housewives dog training. Vicki is too busy to attend so maybe one of those nice women training their dog will be Donn’s new woman?
For the first time ever in Orange County Housewives history, I felt a little bit of sympathy for Tamra Barney. To watch your child suffer and have to go through surgery, even though he did it to himself, was pretty sad. One thing I never wish on anyone is for their child to be sick, regardless of their age it has to be life’s worst experience when something happens to your child. Tamra’s son Ryan had taken steroids in the past and they were concerned that a lump in his chest could be cancer, luckily it wasn’t and all is good with Ryan, you may return to hating Tamra Barney now.
Luckily we didn’t have to sit through much of Peggy, but we were forced to see her husband’s reckless spending as he brought home his vehicle with new $700 each brand new tires on it. They had to get rid of their Lamborghini due to financial problems but luckily they didn’t have to give up the Hummer or the Bentley. I sincerely hope this is Peggy’s first and last season! Bring back Lynne Curtain toking on a bong hit any day!
There are nine songwriters competing this week. We see them in their apartments. Johnny was first last week and he is happy because he does not want to return to computer programming.
Jewel meets with the songwriters in the studio and tells them that the hook this week is based on the idea of superheroes and it is to be a rap. Jewel introduces them to a song writer, Rodney Jenkins. They are impressed that he worked with Michael Jackson and Lady Gaga.
The songwriters have 30 minutes to create their hook so they go to their corners and pound out their songs. Again this week, Nick is bothered by the people around him. Again this week, Melissa is loud and she does not make sense. She sings, “I want to have the power.” Amber’s hook is lyrically powerful. Jackie is a “cracker”. Nick is” Invisoman.” Sonyae has “a heart of steel.”
After a discussion, Jewel and Rodney announce the winners:
3rd Jackie who wrote the hook as a comedy
2nd Sonyae who sang about waterproof mascara and heart.
1st Johnny whose hero could walk through walls.
The Judges allow the winner to select the teams that will write the song from the hook.
Johnny chose Scott then Jes. Johnny and Jes are “in love,” but he did not pick her first.
Sonyae chose Nick who she hates and later Melissa.
Jackie chose Brian. Amber was the last song writer chosen.
Jackie decides to continue writing the song as a comedy, but she adds a 1940’s vibe because Amber works with that type of music. Brian will write the tract. Brian works alone while the ladies create the lyrics. Amber contributes less to the song as Jackie is a dominating person. Brian is very unhappy on this team.
Sonyae and Nick argue while Melissa plays the electric piano. Sonyae and Nick create the song and Melissa stands back and watches them go to war. They use the idea of an R&B pop song.
Johnny and Jes are an item and that is a problem for Nick if they are the losing song. He thinks he will be thrown under the bus by the lovebirds.
The songwriters dress for the performance. Johnny shares that he is very nervous.
The judges are Jewel, Kara DiGuardi, Keith Naftaly, and Rodney Jenkins.
The order of performances is Johnny, Sonyae, and Jackie.
Johnny’s trio is very theatrical. They are in a triangle facing out when the song begins and Johnny becomes the rap singer. Jes sings opera. That was Scotty’s idea.
Sonyae wears sunglasses and she raps with Nick. Melissa plays the electric piano and moves with the music.
Jackie lyrics are odd rather than funny. Amber sings a 1940s ballad that has odd rhymes during the rap song presentation.
Nick says he wants to have sex with Amber in an interview.
The judges ask Johnny and Sonyae to step on the stage with their team members. The judges compliment both songs. When Johnny turned into Ludicrous, the judges were sold and his team won first place again this week. Keith Naftaly tells Sonyae that he could work with her song to make it a hit.
These six song writers return to their conference space and share their thoughts about who will be sent home. Nick hopes Jackie will go because she never shuts up.
The judges hated the lyrics. The original hook leads them to the idea of a comedic song which songwriters and famous artists do perform and sell, but this was a flop. Jackie has been in this position for several weeks now. She cried again this time. Brian’s music did not fit. Amber contributed a line that the judges hated. Amber mentioned that she was looking for” Human depth” and Karen said she should be a nurse and not a song writer.
The miss went to Amber. She went to say goodbye and was greeted by hugs and tears. Nick is sad that Amber is going and not Jackie. Amber told the songwriters that she loved them and that they were all amazing. She will continue to write songs and she thinks nurses are compassionate and compassion helps in writing music and lyrics.
At the end of the show, the speaker mentioned that you can buy the winning song at bravotv.com. There a link to a facebook page at bravotv.com and I noticed that Scotty and several other songwriters from the show are posting there if you would like to contact them.
Great Job as always Quincy!
The Real Housewives of New York are filming their reunion this week, in fact, tomorrow I’m told. Send your questions in to Andy Cohen, be sure to call out Luann, Jill and Kelly for their horrible behavior and hypocrisy. Of course Cindy for her childish, idiotic behavior but I almost don’t want to even ask Cindy questions, I mean who really cares what she has to say? Let’s all hope she’s not on Season Five!
Ramona Tweeted that she was out with Alex and Simon tonight, they are TRUE friends!
Until Next time…
