I Hate Jill Zarin  Housewives News

Yesterday Bravo had a marathon!  Not just any marathon but it was The Real Housewives of New York marathon.

I don’t know how it is possible but I’ve become numb to Luann’s rudeness, passive aggressiveness and all around bad behavior, you almost expect it now and she has actually said she doesn’t care that she comes off that way.  She is who she is and she’s not changing for anyone.  There you have it.

What I do feel for is Luann’s children, this is a cold-hearted woman who is rarely seen being loving and emotional with her kids.  I wonder if Luann was raised like that?  Luann isn’t a nice person, obviously she’s nice to her kids and her boyfriend, maybe people that she likes but anyone who she doesn’t know or who she doesn’t care about gets the cold shoulder from Lulu.  Remember Caroline’s description of their first meeting?  Luann doesn’t watch the other housewives show and had no idea that Caroline was a housewife.  Let’s face it, Caroline doesn’t look like your typical Bravo Housewife.  To Luann, Caroline was a nobody so she was rude and brushed her off.  Once Luann was told that Caroline was one of the Jersey Housewives, Lulu changed her tune.  Clearly this woman thinks more of herself than anyone else does.  This is the woman who tells Alex to stay out of the argument between Jill and Ramona yet Luann was the first one to jump in and reprimand Ramona both at Jill’s Charity function and in Morocco.  Hypocrite!

I honestly don’t think that Luann even cares about Kelly, Jill or Cindy she merely needs someone to shoot with, she needs to be part of a group on the show but we know she doesn’t truly hang out with these women off-screen.

We’ve never seen Luann cry on-screen, or say she was “hurt” by anyone else on the show, she simply doesn’t care enough about any of these people to have any emotion over them.  We saw her get a tiny bit emotional during Season Two reunion when the ladies all called her out on not inviting Alex to her Memorial Day BBQ and for labeling herself as the epitome of “class” she was caught in a lie and held a pillow up to hide her face.

There is no way to know if her daughter would still be climbing out windows, smoking pot and using vulgar language if her parents had stayed together, we know her father Alex traveled a lot and wasn’t around much anyway but since Lulu started dating Jacques she admitted to being away from her kids several days a week leaving them with a “Mother’s helper”.

As far as we know Luann’s son Noel is doing well, he has created his own line of skateboards and is marketing them.  Nothing against the skateboard crowd but they’re not exactly known to be the best students or part of the “Say No To Drugs” campaign.  That is not to say all kids who skateboard are bad students and druggies but unfortunately that is part of the stereotype.  Time will tell with Lulu’s kids, hopefully they’ll both turn out to be upstanding citizens but without the cold heart their mother sports.

Watching Kelly Bensimon again is really distressing, I’ve said many times that she thinks and acts like a 13-year old girl.  Her reference to 1979 is interesting because she would be right around that age in 1979, maybe a few years younger.  KelKel has proven time and time again that she is not the brightest bulb in the land, she doesn’t know sayings like, “eating crow” or “let your hair down” like a teenage girl would most likely not have heard them.  She takes everything very literally, has absolutely no sense of other people’s feelings.  Kelly challenged Alex at last year’s reunion saying, “do you really care what Ramona feels?”  Why wouldn’t Alex care?  To Kelly it’s like asking someone, “How are you?”  You don’t really want to hear how that person is doing, it is just a pleasantry.  In Kelly land you don’t care about other people’s feelings just like a teenage girl who bully’s and harasses a classmate for being different or for wearing glasses or braces, that bully doesn’t think for a second about her victim’s feelings or she wouldn’t be bullying anyone.

Kelly doesn’t care about Alex’s feelings, and it was distressing to watch their interaction in Morocco because Alex was trying to express her feelings and was getting emotional.  Kelly told Alex “shhhh” and “close your eyes”, she wasn’t listening to Alex just trying to make a fool of her just like that teenage girl who bully’s a classmate.

Kelly did this last season with Bethenny, or she tried to.  Bethenny was successful at ripping right back at Kelly or walking away, unfortunately Alex can’t seem to do that.  Just once I’d like to see Alex give it right back to Kelly but the next interaction between the two ladies at lunch back in New York was the same.  Telling Alex to stop turning red is like telling a redhead to stop having red hair, to ridicule someone about something that they cannot control is vicious and vile.  Kelly is vicious and vile, Alex has never done anything to Kelly Bensimon yet Kelly is constantly berating and belittling Alex.

Kelly hasn’t had a man in her life, that we know of, for quite a long time.  During the Season Two reunion Kelly talked about the man who accused her of beating him up and she of course had used the excuse of “self-defense” yet she wasn’t harmed in any way and she ended up doing community service.  A forty-two year old woman with the brain of a pea..er a 13-year old girl isn’t going to keep a man interested for too long.  Consider her being creeped out by anything to do with sex or the female body and you’ll see a man shaped hole right next to that plastic horse in her living room.

I get the impression that Kelly is more of a friend to her daughter’s than a mother and that most of the mothering is done by nanny’s while Kelly jet sets all over the country and goes out to parties for 10-minutes at a time.

Early in the day we saw the episodes where Sonja was acting like a vicious monster and it will tend to annoy you all over again, won’t it?  Remembering that Alex has forgiven Sonja helps a bit but it really doesn’t bode well for Alex to keep getting shoved around by all of the other housewives, including those that are newer on the series than she is like Sonja and Kelly.

Who is Sonja and how does she really feel about her cast mates?  I don’t think Sonja has a lot of respect for Alex, I think that the comments and actions speak for themselves but that Sonja isn’t really a mean girl.  She may have been having a bad week or a bad month to have shown her ass on-screen the way she did, I think Sonja’s goal is to try to be on both sides and play with all the ladies.  We know that Jill kisses Sonja’s ass, Sonja may be having money trouble right now but Sonja was a true New York socialite.  I think Jill can recognize that Sonja is one person she can’t bully so she pretends to like her.  Sonja is the one New York housewife that all of the ladies seem to have some level of respect for, if nothing else, even Lulu rarely says a bad word about Sonja.

I still don’t understand why Jill has given Sonja a pass for giving me an interview while she is tearing Alex and Simon apart for merely admitting to reading this blog and meeting me in Chicago while they were here on a book signing tour.  I’ve never so much as spoken to Ramona Singer yet Jill is ripping Ramona apart for mentioning this blog in her Newsletter and on her Bravo Blog.

We all know that Jill’s burning of the sins in Alex’s back yard was fake all done for the Television cameras.  Jill made her feelings clear about Alex at the wedding when she called her a F****n Bitch, then said she was socializing above her station in life, or whatever the hell she said, talking to a producer made it even worse because we know that these were her true feelings and not something she was faking for the cameras.  The hatred that showed on Jill’s face for Alex doesn’t just go away because of a few months off filming.

We know that Jill has completely turned on Ramona, these two women have had a volatile relationship since we met them four years ago but Ramona always said that the two of them were true friends and always would be, I think those feelings have certainly changed.  What Jill has done to Ramona is unforgivable.  Yet Ramona has remained silent and has shown style and class by not retaliating even though there are certainly plenty of things Ramona could say about and to Jill Zarin in the press.

We already discussed how fake Jill’s friendship with Luann is but what about Jill’s relationship with Kelly Bensimon?  Are these two women truly friends?  I think Jill looks at Kelly as her most recent project.  Kelly’s life is a mess, she’s got no job, living off her ex-husband’s money and living in his home.  Kelly can’t seem to find a man although she’s been on television for 3 years.  Why hasn’t Mr. Right found her yet?  Jill will take care of Kelly now that her daughter is gone off to college.

Kelly and Jill have been known to have dinner together outside of filming and do apparently get together, I dont’ think it is as frequent as Jill and Bethenny used to hang out together but I think it does happen now and then.

Kelly has ripped Sonja apart with her comments about Sonja’s home, ex-husband and her finances.  Kelly has no room to talk about any of these things since she is living in the same building that her ex-husband owns and lives in, I’m sure if she needed to clear a clogged toilet she would call a plumber and have the bill sent to Gilles Bensimon.  Kelly has nanny’s and probably a cleaning crew while Sonja does it all on her own.

Alex and Ramona have gotten together outside of filming but truly both women lead their own lives with their real friends, relatives and children to raise.

I don’t think that any of the women have really warmed up to Cindy, I think she was just as dull in real life as she has been on the show and none of the ladies have anything in common with her.  Her mothering skills leave a lot to be desired, we watched last Thursday as she called a nanny to retrieve her child (just one of the two) from a luncheon with her parents because she didn’t have the first clue what to do with the child.  In earlier episodes while we barely noticed, Cindy was shown just a few times with her children.  In every case she had some help with them, at the Art Gallery she had two nannies for two babies and in her home she tells viewers that she lies in bed and listens to the nanny getting up in the middle of the night with her kids.  One scene in which the baby’s daddy visits to spend some time with his girls there is a houseful of people and Cindy is constantly criticizing her ex-boyfriend for the way he plays with the girls.  The fact was he was doing just fine, she was handling them like they were porcelain dolls.

I cannot believe that a woman who has been a mother for 13-months still cannot handle one child in a restaurant for a 1-hour lunch.  She has no confidence and she’ll never get any until she dives right in and cares for her kids on her own.  I’m all for women having help if you work, in Cindy’s case she runs a business so obviously she needs someone to care for them while she’s working but to have two nannies at all times is going overboard.  Some people should simply not have children.

Reports are that Cindy is being sued for racial discrimination:

The beauty chain owned by Real Housewives of New York star Cindy Barshop has been accused of racial discrimination after a former employee claimed she was bullied and eventually fired because she is black.

The Completely Bare spas are as famous for their risqué ‘vajazzling’ services as they are for their famous owner.

But Altovise Collier claims she was only hired by managers at the Fifth Avenue flagship to ‘inject some color’, according to a complaint filed with the state Division of Human Rights.

The 25-year-old, who is a licensed aesthetician, told the New York Post how she relocated to New York from Atlanta in March to take the job.

She says she applied online and was interviewed by phone, and did not meet her employers in person until she arrived for her first day of work.

She said: ‘They were very impressed with me – until they saw me.’

Miss Collier said that she was the only black woman among the staff, and was subjected to verbal abuse from Ms Barshop as well as around 50 other employees.

She also claims that she was not trained properly, which lead to customer complaints.

She continued: ‘I was treated like trash and thrown in the gutter, damn near sleeping in the streets.

‘Everyone treated me badly, like I was in some sort of sorority hazing.’

She added that the company also underpaid her, only handing over about half of her $700 weekly salary, and as she was paid in cash, she lacked the payslip proof required to rent an apartment.

As a result, she claims, she was forced to sleep on friends’ couches.

Her lawyer, Lenard Leeds, said: ‘From day one, she wasn’t given the same training, she wasn’t given the same money.’

Ms Barshop has denied all charges. She told the paper that Miss Collier was fired ‘because of the quality of her work.’

Is Cindy Barshop racist?

Many people have said that these reality shows like Housewives have replaced soap operas for many women and some men too!  The one thing missing from Reality TV that Soap Opera’s at least tried to have was continuity.  Soaps even had a crew member who was on the production team strictly for continuity that way there was no hypocrisy.

If this were a Soap Opera they would have stopped filming when Luann told Alex to stay out of the argument between Jill and Ramona, they would have reminded Lulu that she did the exact same thing several times during the show and she would have to change her sanctimonious, self righteous speech for another time.  If this were a Soap Opera they’d have had to stop filming a whole lot!

Thanks to Boston02127 for the great photos/captions!

Until Next Time…

    Good Morning!

  2. katlg says:

I saw the marathon was on and decided to watch Law and Order instead, if this had been any of the other 3 seasons I may have watched but now I just don’t care.
I do however come here every day…Love It!!!

    • Christine says:

I watched the Casey Anthony closing arguments. At least they are able to call out a liar, and back it up with video and recorded evidence.
LuAnn, Jill, Teresa, Camille, etc. would be charged with perjury and evidence tampering.

      • HD says:

I watched Casey Anthony stuff too. The housewife drama has gotten old this season.

Luann is a witch, Jill is nuts, Kelly is certifiable, Ramona pimping Pinot, Cindy is dumb, Alex just needs to leave the show.

I don’t know about anyone else but this show is toast unless they recast it.

      • lovemamaearth says:

I wonder why they were working on a holiday.

Regarding Jill, Kelly is the underdog… I think Ramona was right about that.

        • i think the jury is sequestered, so they probably couldn’t really celibate anyhow.

          • Pghemtchick says:

They are. I believe they are from a different county. We just had that happen here with the poplawski (not 100% on spelling) trial. The jury was from the other side of the state and worked thru the weekend. At least they only deliberated under 3 hours I think to convict & sentence him to death for gunning down 3 cops. I hope thier celibate in their celebration :p juries gone wild!!

      • Christine says:

Verdict is in and will be announced at 2:15PM Eastern time.

    • Debbie C. says:

Ahhh I am a L&O junkie but I did catch some of the shows yesterday but I found it just to painful to watch Alex get hammered. I want to jump through the screen and speak for her. I just do not think Alex is able to be confrontational. As hard as she tries she is simply not nimble enough and by the time she knows what she wants to say she has been run over and over. Bravo has lost me with the OC gals, Alanta and NJ. Now it looks as if NY is next to go. But I love this blog 🙂
      Debbie

  3. Dee says:

Morning! Today is going to suck!! Woke up before 2 am my time and couldnt go back to sleep. I am going to crash an burn around noon!

  4. BaaBee Loves Kitties says:

    Great pics boston
    Thanks for the blog.

  5. I just read on another website that Bethenny is going to be a co-host on The View next Tuesday, July 12. I can’t stand those women on The View but I will watch it next Tuesday because of Bethenny.

    • BaaBee Loves Kitties says:

The women on the view annoy me so much it isn’t worth watching even to see Bethenny..
😛 You can tell us when her new show is going to be on. Hopefully it will replace my soaps AMC & OLTL & I’ll still have something to look forward to.

      • vilzvet says:

I can’t believe she is putting herself back into that den of witches. You can just picture Behar’s snooty face looking down at her. I’ll tape and as always watch Price is Right instead.

        • WindyCityWondering says:

Bethenny is a quick study and a quicker wit – I think she will do fine and will be a welcome addition to a very boring bunch of bitches! lol

          • lovemamaearth says:

Wasn’t B on with them before and they were kind of rude to her? I missed the episode but read about it.

            • cabbie413 says:

yes they were rude to her when she was “just a reality star” …they just thought she was some run-of-the-mill reality tv girl — now that she’s Bethenny, the $100 MILLION star, they want her on to co-host.. those effing Bs I think I’ll tweet something about that to Bethenny – apparently money talks

              • mariareads says:

I LOVE this! “those effing B’s”. Thank you so much for the best laugh I have had all weekend! That’s exactly what they are. I hate that show. I cannot stand those women. They are cranky, pushy and intolerant. The lot of ’em!

  6. Kansas Girl says:

Back to the real world here. But first…

We met Luann’s mother once. Luann was accepting an award and her mother came for the event. I remember Luann demanding her mother praise her as they sat at a kitchen table. The mother seemed quiet and unassuming. She praised on demand.

I continue to wonder about how Kelly survives and I now think (a theory only) that there may be some kind of trust fund for her that handles her finances. Her room and board are presumably covered by the ex. The ex likely carries health insurance on the girls. But who pays for groceries, clothing and all her travel? Would her Bravo salary cover that — I suspect not. She might have money from those modeling days. She’s apparently invited to events, but her name will gradually carry less and less importance, and if she’s not wealthy enough to contribute to the charity, the invitations will dry up. What on earth does she do all day and where does her money come from?

    • Nancy says:

I think Kelly gets invited to all those events
for entertainment purposes. I truly think
Kelly is the laughing stock of NY/Hamptoms.
      Those poor two little girls.

      • Kansas Girl says:

Perhaps, and that would make more sense than “fame”. She is certainly no longer current.

I feel for the girls too. I hope they have a good nanny and some relationship with their father to help keep them level.

    • vilzvet says:

All great questions Kansas Girl! I think Lynn has her pegged, it’s Gilles for the major expenses like housing and child support. I wonder if she still gets alimony too…for the frequent travelling I bet if she is invited to an “event” at a bar the airfare is covered.

      • WindyCityWondering says:

If all housing and child care are covered by her ex then she isn’t very authentic in her description of herself as a hard working single mother. Wonder what her net worth truly is….

        • Kansas Girl says:

Yes, that’s what I’m wondering. I just can’t see her balancing a checkbook, so I’ve concluded she has people do that for her — a trust arrangement, perhaps. We also have heard that she has legal counsel (or something) who made sure the worst of Scary Island will never be discussed or shown, so she’s got advisers that guide her. How is that paid for? I have doubts that she made all that much money in her supermodel (hah) days, and unless someone started investing that for her, some/much of that would be gone by now. I wonder if her parents or brother are involved in keeping her on track. It’s very curious and I keep wondering about it.

      • TLM says:

If “The Situation” and Snooki get paid ungodly amounts of money to show up at parties, I’m sure Kelly gets a chunk of money. Don’t ask me to explain why, but I bet she gets paid well for her appearances too.

        • BessiBy to says:

I cannot imagine that she would get paid when she cannot show up any place on time and only stays 10 minutes at anyone place. Just not enough of a draw.

  7. Nancy says:

    Good morning Lynn.
I hope you had a nice holiday.
I’m not sure who I “hate” more. Jill or LuMan.
If I had LuMan in my life and she started her %&$#
with me I would start laughing in her face. Alex should try this.
Trust me it would work. LuMan wouldn’t know what to do.
With Jill one would think she would still care what Bethenny thinks of her
but acting like she is I doubt that. I wonder how many times a day Bethenny
counts her luck stars that she no longer has that toxic person in her life?
Sorry to say Lynn I think you are her next target. Sorry to say Jill, Lynn doesn’t care.
    Non of us care.

  8. Kansas Girl says:

Oh and one more thing I always think of when I think of Kelly and how she maneuvers life. Remember at the skating party, there was one glimpse only of the back of Kelly. Her shirt was not fastened all the way up the back and her bra (dirty, as I remember it) showed. We only saw this once, so I think she is being protected from looking too crazy. But I know what I think. (Who, tho is protecting her and how are they being paid for this work?)

    • Nancy says:

She has a twin brother. I wonder what he is like.
Are they close? Kelly dad is a lawyer so he my be helping Kelly out
with her expensive. Also Kelly always has a lot of people around her.
I bet she rarely spends alone time with her daughters. Watching
her on this show is difficult for me because she shouldn’t be on this or
any show. IMHO Bravo should be ashamed of themselves.

      • WindyCityWondering says:

Kelly’s brother is a lawyer also. He obviously got the brains!

      • Christine says:

Her brother is an attorney in a law firm in Spartanburg, SC. He is far, far away from parents in Illinois and crazy sister in NY. As I live in SC, it is my sincere hope that she never visits her brother.

        • Debbie says:

          Christine,
          I just googled
          Spartanburg, S.C. lawyer Bensimon
Your post is the 5th search result.. but I didn’t find his name. I wanted to see if he looked alot like Kelly

          • Kansas Girl says:

His name would be Killoren (sp?).

          • Christine says:

The website is spartanlaw.com. There are attorney profiles and his name is Thomas Killoren. His photo is there, too – He does bear a resemblance to kelly. Graduated from law school in 1994 which would make him about 42.

  9. Rory P. Bellows says:

didn’t luannes daughter have trouble at boarding school in the hamptons got expelled i believe, absentee parent tsk tsk tsk…….

  10. Rory P. Bellows says:

how funny was jill falling at her skating party after bragging of her training then bethanny went on skating with the stars and almost wins (despite jills buddy weir) how does this woman get out of bed….lol

    • Nancy says:

The best part of that was she said she fell because she was doing something
hard when in fact she was just skating forward. I’d like to ask her what was
so difficult with that move? I teach that on day one in the Skating 101 course.
Don’t get me started on that pink skating dress.

  11. kellynnola says:

I watched some of the marathon yesterday, but then turned it off as it was getting on my nerves. What happened to the show? Remember everyone saying this would be the best season ever… I think by episode 3 it was clear it was not.

    • VAgirl says:

I haven’t watched any of this season’s shows more than once. Any other season, I would have watched yesterday’s marathon. It’s sad what this franchise has come to.

      • WindyCityWondering says:

        ITA!

        • MsJxn says:

Ditto!!! Didn’t watch either,….only reason I even keep up is to hopefully see Jillousy get called on her shite…like B did @ the reunion……too bad she stopped Andy too early, although it probably made B look better in the long run. Just pure frustration.

          • BessiBy to says:

I cannot get though most of them even the first time around? LOVE me some fast-forward.

  12. JillhAter says:

    omg-
NO Helmet on KB child? Someone call child protection services. That is weekday NYC rush-hour traffic.

    • vilzvet says:

Oh this was a good story a couple of weeks ago when it happened. There were several pictures, including one of a VAN right behind her daughter. Sickening.

    • moneycanbuyyouass says:

“But Brain, if she wore a helmet, how would they know who she is?”
      – Kelly Beensomeone now known as Pinky From the Pinky and the Brain animated series first seen on Animaniacs!!

  13. misosweets says:

Will the Kelly/Alex lunch continue into the next episode? Because the Season 4 “Return to the Big Apple” promo video from before the season started airing shows a moment of that lunch that seems to have been cut out. About halfway into the video I’ve linked to below, we see Alex telling Kelly “You have a perception of reality that is completely skewed” and Kelly says “No, I just see what I see” – to which Alex says “Wow”.

Why wasn’t that footage aired in the episode? Especially since it was originally the only part of the scene worthy of a Season 4 promo? Is it because it’s showing Alex with an upper hand over a mentally disturbed Kelly? Is it because the whole “cyber-bullying” accusation is being portrayed as someone’s skewed idea of reality? Did it not fit into the cyber-bullying storyline (since Alex is rightly dismissing it as crazy)? Are they saving it for lost footage? Just curious.

The clip I’m referring to starts approximately halfway through the promo video…

    • Amy Matheson says:

Bravo edits things out that they promote in previews all the time.

That whole Cookiegate fiasco on NJ has people (Teresa, Melissa and Jacqueline) talking about cookies being thrown away when there are starving children in Africa… don’t remember who said what, but it was totally shown on previews and promos and missing in the actual episode.

Depending on how the Bravo winds blow and who they want to villainize (and these ladies all give them great villain material to work with) they tweak reality as they wish. Granted, they cant blame editing for their behavior, but they can blame editing for leaving out key conversations or retelling a story out of chronological order in order to make reality “better”.

      • Amy Matheson says:

Bravo is like that girl from junior high school that exaggerates rather than lies to make herself more interesting….

        • misosweets says:

True. I just thought it was rather convenient that Alex was left looking weak and impotent in the episode and Kelly was looking like the alpha who was telling a believable story. In reality it seems Alex was pretty sure Kelly was going to look like the lunatic she is. I
feel like they decided the cyber-bullying story was current and timely so they’re portraying it as if cyber-bullying actually happened. It’s pretty offensive if you ask me.

          • babykakes says:

i don’t think Alex looked weak at all. if you have watched all the shows you know that Kelly is a ‘taco short of a combination plate’, & i think Alex was thinking something like
“why do i even bother when i know what a nut Kelly is & continues to ramble on & on in
non-sensical jibberish!” Maybe Alex thought that just maybe this time she would be able
to get in a word or 2 but no such luck. Kelly is definately on meds since last season, but she is still ‘bat s**t crazy’. she was more fun to watch before she was on legal drugs!

      • Amy Matheson says:

My new fave, all: Kelly’s relationship advice column.

        http://www.hollywoodlife.com/2011/07/05/kelly-bensimon-love-advice-housewives/
Later I am going to the homeless shelter to see who can give me some investment advice on what to do with some maturing mutual funds.

        • BessiB says:

Lets see, who is Kelly trying to mimic now? Hmmmmm.

        • babykakes says:

taking advice from Kelly on relationships is like asking Casey Anthony advice on being a good mother & child rearing.

    • Have we seen the clip “There’s nothing wrong with Kelly” from Jill yet? Maybe there is more to come ….

    • BessiB says:

      Bravo producers suck.

  14. ChiTownRocks says:

What really galls me about Jill, she claims people are stalking her, but yet she is posting every freaking move she makes on Twitter. Can you say hypocritical? Sure, I knew you could. Countless Lucifer is a joke and I am concerned for her kids. Kelly, ugh have some jelly beans and go awayyyyyy far awayyyyy.

if Jill didn’t fantasize that she was being stalked, she would not be able to convince herself that everyone likes her & pays her a lot of attention. that’s what keeps her going..
what a joke she is! anyone have any info on her first husband? that could be very interesting, or very boring.

  15. I think we are all disgusted because we are “real” housewives and these women are purely ornamental – if they’re even good for that.

Poor Sonja’s waaay past her expiration date. What do you do when you’re even too old for Hef?
Kelly is an IV away from in-patient crazy. Alex seems to have a good heart but that husband of hers will be her and those kids undoing. Already I get an autistic vibe off of the older one.

About the best you can say about LuMann or Jill is that it’s too hard to decide which one is the most despicable although Cindy is giving them a run for their money on holding that title.

And say what you want about Ramona but so far, tipsy or not, she’s called ’em all. Especially about LuMann’s being a weekend mother and Ramona’s observation that 16 is when your kids need you to keep a good eye on them. LuMann of course is more interested in giving as much air time to that young gigolo who she is hoping will keep her story relevant. She never thought being a mother would be enough to do it. How wrong she turned out to be. Now with Victoria schooling her on “real life” she can’t roll her eyes anymore at Ramona’s spot-on observations. Wonder if she’ll show some true class and thank Ramona for caring enough to warn her. Admit she should have seen/been aware of behaviors from Victoria of which Miss White-Gloves Porter’s “tony Hampton’s school” may not approve.

Now Ramona too could use a reminder. I think it was Shakespeare that observed, “Anything that is over-emphasized usually means the opposite.” Ramona should stop telling people how great she and Mario’s marriage is. If it really is we’ll know it without Ramona’s constant reminders.

Best line since the show began. Well actually the first came from Bethenny when she referred to LuMann as a “dumb drag queen.” Truth be told, when I say my first episode of this train-wreck of a show I actually said to my husband, “Well, it is NY so of course they have to have their gays on display.” I honestly thought Luann was a drag queen.

Well! When she came down the stairs of that pretentious club in that pretentious costume (I could practically smell the dry-rot) and Ramona observed, “At first I thought it was a drag queen but then I saw it was LuAnn,” well! The only thing funnier (tinged as it was in desperate flop-sweat) was LuAnn croaking out her “song” to Jill.

New York socialites? Get a clue. Better yet get a real social register. Not a one of their names will appear. Real New York “Society” wouldn’t even say hello to these “arrivistes” and they certainly don’t attend the same social events.

And Jill Zarin saying she is getting bullied? Unreal. She is just seeing the heaps of people come forward after they’ve been bullied, abused or used by JZ.
Like she is a thief calling the cops to complain about being ripped off.

PUHLEESE- it’s just everyone finally coming out with it.

    • vilzvet says:

Yikes, she’s getting paid for this?!

    • FLG says:

It looks like it consists of six or seven roughly 3 minutes segments. I’ll bet that is all that will ever be produced. Just a quick filming and editing and done. Not much effort required on Kelly’s part and I’m sure they’re feeding her info in her ear as she films them. Kind of like NeNe’s TV gig in Atlanta and Caroline’s Radio Show. Not real jobs with futures, but finite number of episodes all pre-planned. Quick buck and run.

    • Mookies1mom says:

I just watched the one and that was enough. “Trust is a very big umbrella. And you know, there are a lot of things that fall from that tree.” So, which is it an umbrella or tree? I get the point of what she is trying to say but I think Kelly confuses herself. I would hate to be inside Kelly’s head. Can you imagine what her inner voice is like?

    • Amy Matheson says:

That sounds like something Luann would say.

Of course it would apply to her in spades.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Same is true of LuAnn! Wonder why they think that once their meal ticket moved on they are still entitled to the “life” – when in fact they both spend less than half their lives living it?

      • moneycanbuyyouass says:

This is exactly what I have been thinking – they, meaning LuAnn, Jill, Kelly and even poor little Sonja are all social climbers. Who are they to throw rocks at the Silex’s glass house in Brooklyn. At least it appears that Simon & Alex and Mario & Ramona have worked for where they are now. Not sure about Cindy – don’t care.

  18. I don’t think LuAnn or Cindy care at all what anyone thinks about them They are both making a half hearted effort to stir up a little drama – but they are bored to death with being on the show.

Alex, Simon, and Ramona care. If this blog were about them they’d reach out and try to understand and explain where they are coming from.

Sonja probably cares – but may be overwhelmed.

Kelly can barely brush her hair in the morning.

  19. Amy Matheson says:

Kelly takes her stupidity and runs with it, like she wants us to believe she’s in on the joke.

I remember after the freak out on Alex episode in Morocco, Kelly suddenly starting tweeting – whose going to fix this Santa? – as if she was winking at us at how deliberately cooky she had been.

Kelly, sweetie, we are laughing AT you, not with you.

Now put down that fork and let’s use a brush instead for your hair.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Sadly, the convo between Alex and Kelly in Morocco made me think that this is how she deals with her kids. Mislabeling emotions (mad vs sad) and the whole close your eyes, open your eyes, breathe!, asking if Santa will be fixing their messes – wonder what those poor little girls think of their mother and can they relate to her in anyway?

      • BlueSky_Forever says:

Yes it is very sad for them, but they seem to handling her better than she handles them….remember the younger daughter writing notes to Kelly when they went out for lunch??!! Then on Scary Island, Kelly put out a note pad for everyone to write their “messages” on….just crazy. It’s no wonder their father lives in the same building. He must be keeping a close eye on Kelly, the girls, & the nannies.

  20. Amber...Real Wife says:

Jillusional is quite the enigma that could use an enema. She, after prompting from resident nut Kellidiot, decided it was improper to lunch with Simon, as it wouldn’t look right. WHAT?! Does she really want us to think that Simon “WANTS” Jill? Is she now the sex bomb with those dents on her cheeks (from banging Baawwbby’s pelvis), that Simon would risk his marriage for a few stolen moments with a LowerEastSideFabricShrew? Get Real. What does appear “improper” is Jillzilla holding court with MICHAEL LOHAN and JOHN GOSSELIN while poor Baawwby was recuperating from being open “ear to ear”! She was hanging with those guys with earned seedy reputations, sans hubby, but Simon, in comparison a choirboy from Brooklyn, is presumptuous for wanting lunch? Bitch Puh-leeze! She’d even do lunch with KatoKaelin, without Baawwberoos permission and tweet the whole affair!

    • FLG says:

She has her new friend Drita she can lunch with!

    • MsJxn says:

‘scuse me…….but, I would rather my husband have lunch with a mutual acquaintance to clear up any past miscommunication (on camera, as it no doubt would be), than…..hum,…say another woman taking him shopping for clothes!!!! Far more intimate, potential to be intimate,..and unless she is a personal shopper that I am aware of and have approved, far more inappropriate in content (different states of dress, ewww!), and context,..If my hubs dresses to any woman’s taste,…best be mine, BIOTCH,,LOL!!! but, really…which is more weird?!! inappropriate…. Didn’t Kells take Simon..(Be a Man)…shopping without Alex?!

      • Nancy says:

In Kelly’s defense Simon did come out of the dressing room without his pants on.

      • Amber...Real Wife says:

Absolutely! She was very “out of pocket” to have wanted to “dress” Simon to her taste. For what? As a favor? He’s married and it’s none of her business. Also who the hell does she think she is to decide her fashion sense would benefit him? Oh I know she’s the Duke or Ambassador of Wool or something like that! Whatevah!

Actually one of the restuarants is a mile from my house at Chandler Fashion Square.
Jenni says in the interview that this season Flipping Out two employees get canned. Of course she does not say who it is. I hope it is the blond airhead.

    Ummm… not “sister”?
    ————————————————————————————————-
Happy Wife?! Well if being the beard for a gay man was what Dina always aspired to, well then it’s a match made in heaven! Watch the following link and tell me Tommy wouldn’t rather be marrying Andy Cohen.

    http://stoopidhousewives.com/dina-and-tommys-wedding/vh1-audition-tape/

There was so much space between the two “lovebirds” on that couch you would have thought Danielle was at one end.

Note to Dina: When appearing publicly with Tommy, try to remember to bring a fire extinguisher.
You might be used to it by now but the rest of us see the “flames.”

    • Caitlin says:

I agree that Dina could be a “beard,” but what also came across to me was his emotional immaturity. There seems to be zero romance here, and no awareness of what marriage is supposed to mean. Just two folks aiming to have the “best party ever.” I saw the wedding episode itself, and it was more of the same: pure conspicuous consumption with gaudy taste. Barf!

    • floridagirl88 says:

His body language seems to tell it all. He is leaning away from her, his right hand on the arm of the couch, his left arm (closet to Dina) is pointed away from her and across his body. About two feet separate them on the couch. He looks like he is trying to get away from her.

      • Amy Matheson says:

  25. FLG says:

Jill obviously returned hoping to improve her image after last year’s disastrous season. She needs the show so she has a vehicle to promote her skwishware. This season is another epic failure for her. Bravo allowed the real blog posts to show through briefly on it’s own website. A landslide of negative comments, now scrubbed clean. I wanted to see a consistently (or at least close to it) kind Jill this season. She never appeared. I don’t think I hold her to a higher standard than any of the others.

Countess No Talent High Horse also needed this show to promote her new single. It made Anderson Cooper’s Rediculist and was declared Worst Song of The Year one of the most widely read gay news blogs in cyberspace. The Countess’s comments that were briefly posted on Bravo were also hugely negative. Epic failure. When the show began, I hoped to see a Grace Kelly-esque character. A Countess of the “common” people. Instead, they have served us Countess Can’t Sing High Horse. It’s okay, she doesn’t care.

Kelly has released a few books and had the pictorial in Playboy, so I imagine she has some income from those. She allegedly served two days of community service along with six to twelve months probation. Her modeling contract was not renewed by Saks before the case was heard in court. I wonder if we will ever learn what really happened on St. John’s? Releasing that information would end all of the speculation that continues to this day. Whatever it was, it has the appearance of being serious in nature because it has been stated in another castmate’s blog that they handle Kelly with kid gloves to this day. The sentence was handed down in June of ’09 and “Scary Island” was less than twelve months later, from what I have been able to reconstruct. If Kelly was Lindsey Lohan or Brittany Spears, would we be privy to more information? What ever problems she has faced in the past and what ever she continues to struggle with (we all have struggles with life, don’t we?) I hope she overcomes them. I haven’t enjoyed seeing her this season or last.

    • moneycanbuyyouass says:

Can “skwishware” be the word of the day a la Pee Wee’s Playhouse? It makes me want to giggle and run around!!!

Also, I thought “redacting” was a government activity – perhaps Bravo has hired the government’s unemployed redactors to scrub Bravo’s comment section!!

  26. WindyCityWondering says:

Do you wonder if Kelly just gets invites to “parties” and in her mind attending them is her “job”?

  27. mary says:

I think Alex pretty vigorously denied her son was autistic (as per Avery’s post)….

    • FLG says:

ITA. The boys were tired, and the son was looking at the boom microphone. End of Story.

    • pastBostonian says:

Alex did deny that – and explained the birthday-piano-scene as one of those where she, as a parent, should have seen that her child had had enough and stopped the filming. Just two thoughts:
I think the son reacted in a very “normal” way to a not-so-kid-normal situation with cameras, mic booms and all sorts of crew members doing close-ups of every breath and word… He was, as some of the cast members are wont to say, done. He also had no choice in whether to be filmed or not…
It makes me very uneasy to see anyone “diagnose” a child with a disability after seeing that child in just a few, Bravo-chosen, moments on screen. It would be kinder not to comment on the young children put into this position by their parents.

      • mary says:

Wasn’t today’s main story about housewives’ children?

        • Duchess of Dryer Lint says:

No. It was about the housewives. Lynn did comment on feeling bad for LuAnne’s and Kelly’s kids, but that was the equivalent of maybe a paragraph total out of the whole blog. And she did mention Cindy’s inability to deal with her baby at lunch, and having round the clock nannies, but in context to her opinion that Cindy is a business woman and that is where her focus is. The small amount dedicated to mentioning HW kids was in relation to the personality of the HW and their relationships with other people (friends, kids, other HW etc.) not the kids per say.

          • mary says:

Victoria is a minor too….why is it ok to bash her off camera missteps? She has seemed sweet and shy (maybe a little awkward) on the show.

            • Duchess of Dryer Lint says:

They were not off camera missteps. She made a video with very nasty remarks and illegal behavior and then put it on YOU TUBE. Victoria herself opened that door. And I have not commented on it. Then, or now. But the fact is it did happen, and made the news, and became part of the HW reality as a result. Sometimes, minors that are old enough to know better, are tried as adults. She is not being tried here, but as the news and show bring it out, it will be commented on.

              • Duchess of Dryer Lint says:

and Lynn’s context of it was the framework of LuAnne needing to be more present in her kid’s lives to show guidance and hopefully instill values that prevent this type of thing from happening. Not directly on the kids, again, in the context of parental relationships. and again, ONLY about a paragraph of a pretty lengthy blog dedicated in total to the subject.

          • Christine says:

LuAnn is tweeting about Paris w/ Jacques, Victoria and Noel. Says that Victoria is off to design school and Noel wil be with Count Chocula. LuAnn School of mothering – dump the kids, hump the BF.

        • pastBostonian says:

I didn’t read the blog that way – more like there was a sub-theme of these women as mothers. It wasn’t even the main thrust of of averyrealhosewife’s comment.
And even if it had been the “main story,” I’d still feel it would be kinder to leave young children out of it here. So let’s just chalk it up to looking at it from different points of view.

      • Mookies1mom says:

Well said. Alex has explained what happened. End of story.

        • Mookies1mom says:

  33. UnderMyWheels says:

I’ve obviously missed parts of this Jill/WSL/Lynn/Quincy free-for-all that went on in the last few days, BUT what I don’t understand is why is Jill so effing upset when people pick her life apart? You put your life on display for the world to see, sweetheart, you’re gonna get criticized. (Remember the saying about *ssholes and opinions)

The difference is that neither Quincy nor Lynn (nor WSL for that matter) have broadcast their lives for the public to observe and critique. Lynn blogs reality shows for fun, Quincy recaps shows for fun and WSL just commented on same. IT’S NOT ABOUT THEM.

Great example of stepping over that line is that Jen blogger chick. She put her personal life out there. Oops! Bad idea with skeletons in the closet.

Jill, Kelly and the rest of the “stop picking on me” crowd – get off TV and no one will care what you do. Really.

If you stay on TV – STFU and take it.

    • MsJxn says:

Who is the Jen blogger chick?

Saying this in a very kind way, could we please not rehash Sunday’s nonsense over again? We all know that those related to this blog are not what others are portraying them to be so let them “stew in their own juices” so to speak and let’s keep ourselves out of the sh….. stuff. No offense, I know you were just taking up for the “good guys.”

    • VAgirl says:

And to answer your first question – BECAUSE JILL IS NOT NORMAL!

    • Duchess of Dryer Lint says:

I guess this is the difference between TV and REALITY TV. If I say I hate Clair Huxtable, and point out why (which I don’t—loved the Cosby Show) it does not mean I hate Phylicia Rhashad, she is an actress playing a scene. Or Gary Sinese’s character in Ransome. That guy creeped me out, but Gary is a great guy who does good thing for the troops. The line is blurred in Reality Tv. These are supposedly unscripted shows that allow you a glimpse into the real world of real people who occupy the planet with us. They are hated or loved for THEIR OWN personalities. Some of them should not be on these shows. No one will be universally loved, and if you are sensitive to critics in your personal life, imagine how much worse you will feel when it is strangers commenting!
I think that is why the first season most of the women seem totally different than their second season. The first time you are very concious of the camera and the fact that what you say and do is being filmed. After a while you get used to the camera and just get on with your life and that is when the “real” you shows up.
Some of the women came into this project with that knowledge in their heads. Bethanny and Ramona were themselves–warts, snark, sarcasm, mood swings, etc. right out of the gate. Others, like LuAnne and Jill were playing a part. They wanted us to see them a certain way and then they got used to the cameras and reverted to who they really were/are. People who supported them felt a bit betrayed when the REAL reality became obvious and reacted with anger. Rather than deal with this, they begin to blame editing and claim they are being bullied. The wierd part is that the ones who came out of the gate with their warts on display and took heat for being less than adorable are the ones we now respect and follow. I guess maybe the real lesson is no one likes to be lied to and when you try and paint yourself as you wish to be seen, rather than as you really are, you are lying and will get called on it.

    • OneMoreInBoston says:

Isn’t Jen now a guest of the Illinois prison system?

      But back to Jill.

I was thinking about this yesterday: how Bethenny said during the reunion how much she has changed, how now there are stories about returning used underwear and dousing salespeople with water, reminders how Saks shut her off for excessive returns (and probably abusive behavior too), and watching the nightmare of yesterday’s twitter unfolding- I think Jill has either become possessed by the Devil or has had some type of mental breakdown.

I’m not exaggerating or being overly dramatic when I say that I am almost afraid that she is going to physically lash out and hurt someone. She is much angrier than I thought.

IMHO I just don’t think it even occurred to her that people wouldn’t like her. Oh maybe the “haters” would but I’m sure she thought she would get a lot of fans too. It doesn’t seem like anyone’s ever called her out on her behavior before.

As @Nancy has often asked in the past- WTH is Jill going to do if she is not a part of the cast next year? Or if the show is not renewed? Commit suicide or commit a homicide?

      It’s a word! 8)

    • BessiB says:

I have never in my life returned clothing of any kind. First of all, I would not buy something in the first place that did not fit or that I did not intend to alter. And second of all, if I am gifted something that does not work out, it is too much trouble to return, so I just end up giving or donating it away.

  45. VAgirl says:

Who’s got their eyes glued to the TV right now? This reminds me of the OJ verdict.

  46. FLG says:

Poor guy isn’t even allowed to choose his own clothing. “I’ll tell you what you like” “I’ll show you what you like” blah, blah, blah. She never even asked if he would like her help. Just jumped right in and started issuing mandates, because she is a men’s clothing expert. Somehow I don’t think this was Bawby’s first trip to a tailor. I’m no TV star and have managed to dress myself since before I was in elementary school. I was tying my own necktie by the age of five. Is he allowed to choose whether to wear boxers, briefs, or boxer/briefs?

    • We Can Never Be Friends says:

Remember when they both went to the tv interview and she wouldn’t even let him speak? Gah! But he stays with her so he deserves all he gets.

oh sweet butterbeans! I am just praying the man wears underwear! Oh the humanity!!!!

    • Debbie says:

      OT…FLG,
Casey Anthony verdict came in and I saw this tweet from one of David Letterman’s writers:
      Justin_Stangel Justin Stangel
As of today it seems it is legal to murder your child in the state of Florida
      23 minutes ago
Seems to go along with your philosophy and mine that we live in a phucked up state.

  47. lillybee says:

Nancy Grace’s head will explode with the verdict.

  48. FLG says:

She reminds me of a friend of mine’s wife. Poor guy is working ALL the time. My friend’s wife was unhappy with her Mercedes-Benz, too. She referred to it as her “starter” Benz, from the day she received it. My friend refers to his wife as his “parasite” when we’re having a guys day out. I feel for him. We remind him that if he ever wants to divorce her, make sure to do it before the ten year mark, so it won’t cost as much to jettison her.

    • moneycanbuyyouass says:

Not sure who the “She” is you are referring to.

FLG, don’t take this wrong but this post of yours makes me sad. And I always love your posts! Can you say “skwishware!

My sadness is because my husband is working crazy, long shifts, seven days a week and I miss him like mad. And I plan on driving my 10 year old mini-van with 170,000 miles into the ground.!!!! There are more important things like college educations, mortgages, and that cute little dog to your left…..

  49. VAgirl says:

My head is about to explode. Nobody is going to be held accountable for this poor child’s murder. What a shame.

  50. WindyCityWondering says:

So Casey Anthony is not a murderess nor a neglectful mother, just a liar. Amazing.

  51. I am literally in tears. That bitch got away with murder. There is no justice.
How can 12 people be so astonishingly stupid.

  52. lillybee says:

I don’t believe that the jury reviewed all the evidence. They were out for such a short time.
When I served on a jury, we spent 6 days going over the evidence and this was for a four day trial.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Whoever the foreman was kept the jury focused on the questions before them and kept them from going into speculation and on reasonable doubt!

  53. Kats2 says:

And now she will go on the talk show circuit and get 15 minutes of gutter fame for killing her daughter.

    • MAMAZ says:

And she’ll write a book, a movie will be made. She will get rich and live the high life. And all she had to do was kill her baby, her own flesh and blood.
I am weeping for that poor child.

      • floridagirl88 says:

Not to worry, eventually the crowds will die down and other stories will become the focus and where will she be? Does anyone remember Amy Fisher, the tart that shot her lover’s wife in the face? Well, now poor little Amy is on Celebrity Rehab and I think this is after the book and dueling movies and porn and stripping and, well you get my drift. Casey today, gone tomorrow.

  54. Nancy says:

    I’m moving back to Canada.

    • It isn’t any better, look at that other whore Karla Homoka

    • neroes says:

      I’m going with you.

    • FLG says:

Don’t forget to pack me and hubs!

Touche’….LOL!!! Just frustrating night all the way around……..verdict………Jillousy……Is there justice ANYWHERE?! But, today’s another day:) Glad we’re neighbors!!!

  55. WindyCityWondering says:

I pray that someday Casey and/or her parents slips up and her daughter will get justice.

    • MAMAZ says:

It wont be Casey. She can’t be tried again for murder.

      • BlueSky_Forever says:

Perhaps like OJ she will be caught for committing other crimes & then will go to jail some day. OJ is in jail now, hopefully he will never get out. There will be justice for that poor little girl some day.

  56. I must have entered an alternate reality. And I will not watch the press briefing by the defense in fear of losing my lunch.

  57. Nancy says:

I wonder what her relationship will be like with her parents now?

How much you want to bet she’s get out of jail and she’ll be pregnant right away.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

She will likely not serve any time for lying as it is a misdemeanor. IMO, she will not a have a relationship with her parents after this.

      • Nancy says:

Lying to officers is a felony.

        • Yes but they will give her credit for time served while awaiting trial and she won’t serve anymore time than that (just speculating).

        • Di says:

She was found guilty on 4 counts of providing false information to a police officer, misdemeanor offenses. Each count carries a max 1 year sentence. The judge will determine whether they will be served consecutively or concurrently. She will most likely walk out on Thursday based on the time she has already served.

        • FLG says:

In flori-duh is is a misdemeanor.

    • Christine says:

I noticed that George and Cindy left the courtroom before the proceedings had even ended. They did not wait for hugs or handshakes. I can only hope that they are finally done with her. Her poor brother has not been in the courtroom at all unless he was testifying. O.J. became a leper in society, unable to fill even the tiniest of venues for his appearances and now sits in prison for other charges. May Casey enjoy the same life as an unwanted monster who wanders alone among us.

      • mariareads says:

I just heard Baez say “it was a horrible accident”. Now, to me, he is saying that Casey’s story about a drowning and the father helping her to make it look like an abduction and murder is true. So are they not also then saying that the grandparents are guilty of a cover up of their grandaughter’s accidental drowning? This is disgusting to me and I don’t believe that those people were involved in that child’s death even if it was in a cover up.

        • mariareads says:

Let me restate that last sentence: I don’t believe the grandparents were a part of any cover up for an accidental drowning.

  58. Nancy says:

How do defense attorney’s sleep at night?
Remember her attorney’s wanted to make her “mentally unstable”
to have a trial. All of a sudden she looks “sane”? I’m discussed.

    • Di says:

Well that’s quite a generalization Nancy. I assume all defense attorneys are different. Jose Baez and his defense team CHOSE to defend Ms. Anthony, and I’m not sure how they will sleep tonight, but I sleep knowing I would never take a client like Ms. Anthony.

Also note, her evaluation for mental competency is a necessary step in a trial if for example, she is fighting to testify against the advice of her counsel; thus incriminating herself. There are many possible LEGAL reasons for this step. A criminal defense attorney cannot “make her ‘mentally unstable.'”

While I find the members of this jury did not apply their logical reasoning to the facts of this case, and in my opinion came to the wrong conclusion based on the plethora of circumstantial evidence in this case, we as American people are luckily afforded the right to defend ourselves (through counsel) against criminal charges. What is the alternative, we lock everyone up and throw away the key without trial? I find the problem has become that many member of the juries these days want a “CSI trial” with fingerprints, dna, video, etc. Unfortunately, most cases are made up of circumstantial evidence, not direct evidence.

I thought the prosecution did an amazing job. I thought the defense was a joke. I think the members of this jury made up their minds last night before they left because they came in all dressed up this morning. When I heard they were dressed up I knew there would be a verdict today–just thought it would go the other way. I’m shocked & disappointed.

  59. We Can Never Be Friends says:

There was no witness and no DNA. She’s not been declared innocent. Not Guilty does not mean innocent. Everyone knows she’s a liar (the counts she is guilty of) and will be a pariah. I don’t think her life will be gravy.

    • VAgirl says:

Semantics. She will be going around saying she was proven innocent. Just wait and see. And there will be those greedy enough to give her a platform. Thats the way this country is, sad to say.

    • I think prosecutors need to learn to not charge more than they have the evidence to prove. They might have gotten a conviction for ‘accidental death’ or ‘manslaughter’. I think juries are much more independent than they used to be and if you are asking for the death penalty and claim someone premeditated killing someone else you’d better have some pretty good proof.

      • VAgirl says:

But the jury still had the option to find her guilty of a lesser charge. It’s not like it was Murder 1 or nothing.

        • Oh I agree. But I think if they had charged with a lessor offence that they could prove beyond a reasonable doubt the jury might have been swayed by some of the more esoteric evidence because they could believe the trial really was a ‘search for the truth’. I don’t know…I think our whole system of justice has become corrupted in one way or another.

          • They did also charge her with manslaughter and child abuse- they jury found her not guilty.

Obviously, the dumb as dog shit jury thinks it’s reasonable that a child can accidentally drown; and not only would someone not take every rational measure to save the child’s life like call 911- but they would make it look like an abduction.
That even if this happened, the moment she was arrested she maintained the all the lies she told, then they find the baby’s body. And only in opening arguments
does the drowning story come out.

I’ve had it with stupid and lazy juries. I’ve mentioned before that I really do know and axe murder; well her partner in crime was charged first – (the night of the crime) and despite her telling several people they were doing to murder Dennis that weekend they found her not guilty because they believed her story that at the last minute she changed her mind and stayed in her room and smoked a joint while Nikki did the murder. (she actually admitted that it was her that swung the axe and not Nikki but the jury didn’t see the tape but I digress). So I guess in some places, you can actually plan a murder, then claim you changed your mind- even though you don’t do anything to prevent it from taking place- and be found not guilty.

            • Di says:

I couldn’t agree more RR!! And what a frightening story you have from your own experience! There are a lot of screwed up people walking amongst us.

              • There is.
A friend and co-worker of mine also knew that Nikki had something to do with it (she was charged several months after Ashely because we heard that Nikki was visiting her in jail every day. I saw it as she was her trying to buy her silence to try to get not to rat her out too.

I also didn’t really like Nikki this much before this, I thought she was a liar and suspected she had some narcissistic tendencies.

            • Scorpiosue1102 says:

What I don’t understand is how they did not take into effect the many people that said that her trunk smelled like a decomposed body. If she accidentally drowned, which I don’t believe, why leave her body in the trunk so long? There was proof that a decomposed human body was in her trunk. I just don’t get it.

It’s unfortunate that the jury didn’t hear about all the other stuff that wasn’t part of the trial. I’m so angry because that beautiful little girl is only a memory now.

  60. VAgirl says:

I just have to try to put this out of my mind. If I keep thinking about it, it will just make me sick. I guess I’ll have to keep from watching any news for the next couple of weeks because I will not be able to listen to these talking heads talk about this case ad nauseum. The people of Florida have spoken and there is nothing we can do about it. I will say a prayer for this poor child and know in my heart that those responsible for her death will not go unpunished forever.

    • Nancy says:

      VAgirl,
I agree. She will be in her own living hell.

Thank-you for your “doggie” info last night.
We doggie sat for a dog like yours and he was adorable.
A little hyper but very sweet. I could fall in love
with any dog or pet. What a gift they are.

    • Debbie says:

      VAgirl,
The 12 people in Florida that still believe the world is flat, are the ones that have spoken. 😦

  61. I, for one, will be sending my nieces and nephews “I love you” cards today and giving them extra hugs and playtime the next time we visit. I suggest everyone give the children in their lives an extra hug in memory of the little forgotten 2 year old angel who was tossed out like garbage.

  62. VAgirl says:

On a happier note, Evil Dick and Dani, Brendon and Rachel, and Jeff and Jordan will be the three couples returning to Big Brother 13.

    • neroes says:

Loved Jeff and Jordan on the Amazing Race. Looking forward to Thursday.

    • sony4ou says:

I cannot stand Brendon and Rachel!!! I wish a different couple would have gotten in..her laugh is horrible!

      • VAgirl says:

        Not crazy about them either.

      • mariareads says:

Agreed Sony4ou. They made my skin crawl. The falling in love in 2 weeks and him running to her to fight her battles. Hated it. If it’s true and Evil Dick is there he will either team up with Rachel or make her life hell.

    • mariareads says:

Do we know that for sure VAgirl? I am such a tool. I watched the season w/ EVil Dick and his daughter on youtube over the weekend. Too damned hot in MD to spend much time outside. I cannot imagine Rachel and Evil Dick TOGETHER! Holy veto!

  63. California35 says:

I have been wondering about Jill and Sonjia. Agree with Lynn that it could be because Sonjia has a lot of contact and knows who is who in NY. I was thinking also that the divorce is not final yet, and although she is separate she is still a Morgan. As much as Sonjia doesn’t feel rich at the moment, she is not poor. Even after the divorce she will be Morgan, she will be the ex-wife of a Morgan and the mother of a Morgan. She will have a very good settlement (even they are struggling with that right now). On a different thought, it could also be that Jill learned from last season on not kicking the one have problems. She will look very bad (yeah worst :-P) if she is mean to Sonjia.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Sonja called Jill on going to Ramona’s renewal (at LuAnn’s Classless Money song debut) and talking about Scary Island when she wasn’t even there! Jill knows when someone isn’t going to play with her and she is giving Sonja a wide berth. Besides, the plan was to take down Ramona and Alex and Jill only had two thugs to work with this season!

      • MsJxn says:

Jill is not even in Sonja’s league….neither is Louman, and they both know this. Sonja in the worst circumstances is so above their “social level”, and class level as well.

      • California35 says:

You are right Jill has two people on her black list already. She is sticking to those two, she also has two allies alrady. Sonjia and Cindy were just extras to her..lol

  64. cabbie413 says:

Sickening thing about the CA case is that she’s going to make a TON of money, just because she murdered her child and it wasn’t proven. There will be requests for interviews lined out the door..and I bet she’ll only take the paid ones.

Interesting turn of events. Poor murdered Caylee..she just disappears and her mom goes on about her life after murdering her.

She did it, but prosecution didn’t prove beyond a reasonable doubt. Don’t agree w/ the decision, however I do respect it.

    • I am interested in hearing from the jury at some point in the future before I decide to respect their decision. My reasoning: I think a lot of people don’t understand the difference between doubt and reasonable doubt. I can give lots of examples in my life regarding things I believe to be true without concrete proof and, in fact, have some doubt about. As I watched some of this, I kept thinking “that could create doubt but it is not reasonable”. So until they explain their logic, respect is a lot to ask for. I don’t even need to agree with their logic, I just want them to be able to diagram it.

      • BUT, I do respect that they gave up 2 months of their lives and away from home to do this.

        • mariareads says:

I told my husband that I thought it would be a not guilty verdict because of insufficient evidence linking the mother to anything. No prints. No DNA. No one saw anything. I know she was out partying while her daughter was missing, but a jury can’t convict her on that alone. The lies? They make her look suspicious as hell but they still don’t link her to a dead body. I am sick over this. I have had 6 months of being kind of unwell and still have medical tests to go through (I am OK after a surgery and all pathology is negative thank you God) so I have been home a lot more since February and when I would get depressed or scared I just turned on the TV. I watched things in the middle of the night that I never would have looked at before. The details of this case seemed to be in my face a lot and I cannot get that child’s picture out of my head. Anyway, if that jury was following all the guidelines and instructions that they were supposed to then they went by the book. There was nothing to link her to killing her daughter. I think she killed her. I will never be convinced otherwise and what she did to her parents and brother is completely disgusting.

          • kit9 says:

They did link her to a dead body. A post-mortem hair from Caylee was found in Casey’s car. Multiple people testified the car smelled of human decomposition, including police dogs coming from Casey’s car-the same car that Casey abandoned before disappearing for a month.

            • dsc60 says:

and what about the chloroform and neck breaking searches proven to be done by casey? the whole thing makes me ill.

  65. FLG says:

I have not followed this trial, but she has already served three years. The prosecution did not have the evidence to convict, so found the jury. Let’s not forget the McMartin preschool trial. There was a more recent trial in Georgia on sexual abuse and the woman was fully exonerated, to the point she was allowed to sue the state for malicious prosecution. There is no way any of the Anthony family will ever have a “normal” life again. If the child did drown accidentally they should have not covered it up, but after the couple in Sarasota’s child was stolen from them and the police tried to railroad the parents, I would hate to find myself in any similar position. Unfortunately prosecution is about winning cases more often than justice.

    • Nancy says:

      FLG,
If her daughter drowned in a pool why was she found with duck tape across
      her mouth and nose?

      • FLG says:

I imagine to keep the mouth closed. When my dear mother died, her mouth was open. I was concerned about this, as I was the first to arrive at the hospital when she died. Our entire family had gone to get some breakfast, take care of pressing matters and we were told that they thought we would have plenty of time, that she was not that far along in the dying process. I was the the one who received the phone call that she had passed. Being the first to arrive, I wanted my other family members to see her body with her mouth closed. They explained to me that that wasn’t possible. It was my first experience being near a loved one so close after the moment of death. With other family members, I had never been a first responder.

        • FLG says:

My family is scattered to the seven winds. We all live great distances from one another. My mother was the beloved Matriarch and the last of her generation. When we were told her death was eminent, yet she was still coherent, extended family members flew in from across the globe to say their good-byes. Many of her friends came, as well as their now adult children. She was very weak, but could still communicate. Through all of this her wonderful sense of humor was intact. Doctors and nurses were amazed. I over heard a couple of nurses discussing her at shift change time. One nurse said to the other “don’t be fooled, that lady knows exactly where she is and what is going on”.

        • m293131 says:

I so was concerned because when my brother died, he was saying good-bye over and over and his mouth was open. I was so upset that his mouth would be open during the viewing but the funeral director did a great job and his mouth was closed for the viewing

        • Kansas Girl says:

FLG, it is upsetting to not be there at the time of death and then to arrive so soon after. We feel that we were perhaps not there for them. But here’s something that has made me feel better. Ages ago I read about young children with fatal illnesses who were in the last stages. The parents would stay in the room constantly to be there as support. This story interviewed the nurses, who said the children seemed to linger on and on, and feel they had to linger because the parents didn’t want them to go. The nurses said they would find ways to send the parents away for a short time, giving the child enough space to move forward in the process. They needed to be allowed to die. I don’t know how universal that is, but I’ve always taken comfort in the idea that our loved ones know we are there, but we have to give them space to do what they must do. The story made a deep impression on me that I’ve passed on to others.

Remember, I’m not a doctor or nurse, but my mother was a nurse and my best friend’s father was a doctor. So I’m just as good as. 😉

          • OneMoreInBoston says:

When my mother died- i told everyone to leave- that I wanted to talk to her alone.

my mother had a stroke and the blood clot went to the center of her forehead. they gace her a drug that we thought would really work- it was an anti coagulent that they thought would break up the clot- instead it just dislodged and went to her brain- she was completely brain dead- but I had a best friend who is the head nurse at MGH and she told me that even patients in deep coms that they don’t think will ever recover from can still hear.

So I told her that i knew she wanted to stay to see me and my brother dance at our weddings but that she needed to go to the light and I would take care of my father and brother for her.

It must have given her permission to go, she died right after- and it was so horrible to watch- but when it was over, FLG’s right- the muscles relax before rigor mortis sets in and then sort of “freezes” up in that position, so I could see using something to hold the body’s extremities in place like coins on the eyes etc.

But I just can’t see putting duct tape on any one’s that I loved body after they died- it
would be… just so wrong. This girl must have either ice water in her veins or she was so freaked out that self preservation kicked in before maternal instinct.

            • Kansas Girl says:

I used to know how quickly rigor set in and how long it took to pass, as I was a big fan of murder mysteries. (It’s something like 30 minutes to set in and 10 hours to pass, but don’t quote me on that. I’m sure one could Google it.)

I’ve been with animals as they died and it’s a strange and somewhat frightening process, yet you know they are not frightened and it’s natural. Some odd experiences confirmed by others who have seen the same thing, but don’t want to go into it here.

How the heck did we get off on this topic? LOL! And the call this a hate blog! More like we’re a bunch of caring blobs of emotion.

          • FLG says:

I’ve always felt comfort, as I think she chose to leave while we were gone. She wanted privacy to die her way. Circumstances allowed that.

            • moneycanbuyyouass says:

As I follow this conversation it has given me some peace as my Dad died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. My mom and I still beat ourselves up about letting him go alone and it has been 10 years. Knowing my Dad, and following what has been said here, this may have been his way to control the situation. I now also believe that there was someone to welcome him to the other side where he would be at peace.

              • Kansas Girl says:

I’ve shared the story of the children needing space so many, many times with people who had this concern. It’s an amazing realization that you didn’t do wrong to leave them. I’m glad you “heard” what I was saying and hope you’ll also pass it on when needed. It is good to bring peace to someone who carries that heavy load. ((moneycanbuyyouass)) (LOL at your name!)

I think our loved ones wait until we are not there-to pass on. My mom sat with my dad, day after day–I finally convinced her to come home for a few minutes–to shower–unwind and get her bearings. My dad passed away as my mom and I were in the elevator. He really did not want her there. Peace.

I just have to comment that I agree 100% with this thought. Two years ago my mom passed away here at my house. On that last day I spent the whole day sitting by her side stroking her hand and talking to her. I left her side for about 10 minutes to put my son (he was about 1 1/2 at the time) to bed, and when I came back she was gone. I felt so guilty I wasn’t there at the end but the hospice nurses told me they hear this type of story too many time for it to be a coincidence.

      • Pghemtchick says:

This pool drowning is something very close to me. I worked in the pre-hospital medical field in my off time from my fulltime mental health job. I haven’t been to work in over 3 years due to my last call where I shattered my foot and dislocated joints I never thought possible. I do not believe that Caylee drowned. I witnessed the aftermath of a toddler drowning and a family/church reaction on scene and after the child was pronounced dead at the er. Even tho there was negligence (that ultimately led to charges, which were dropped), the mother dialed 9-1-1. She didn’t drag the tot to the pet cemetery and duct tape them. They wouldn’t have had to duct tape her mouth shut as if she had recently passed they could have just closed it. Nothing will change my mind that the prosecution screwed this up and they should have linked the fibers on the tape to the trunk. There were fibers, yet they were left unanalyzed. It’s not my place to judge, but a real innocent mother would have been out there looking for their kid or dialing 9-1-1 while doing CPR. Sorry for the rant or autocorrects, silly iPhone won’t let me reread.

        • Di says:

The prosecution and investigators did a very good job in my opinion. They put on a great case I think (I’ve followed this closely). I agree there’s no evidence to show a drowning. Unfortunately, I think this mistake rests squarely on the shoulders of those 12 jurors who didn’t want to convict her without a “smoking gun.” Too bad there’s no smoking gun when you buy yourself enough time by lying to completely compromise the investigation and the evidence. The jury had plenty of circumstantial evidence to convict, and they chose not to do it. Why do they think casey didn’t report her child missing/dead for 31 days? Why do they think she changes her story so much? Why do they think she didn’t aid in the search or investigation for her daughter? Because she was molested? They weren’t given any evidence to support that or the drowning. What mother would do such a think and not even get convicted of child neglect or endangerment (a lesser included charge)? Those people will have to live with their decision for the rest of their lives.

          • I think the prosecution did a good job too, which is why I am stunned by the verdict.

I’ve lost faith in the system, the next defense when a child goes missing and their little bodies are found when only skeletal remains; a defense can claim alien abduction and perhaps 12 stupid people will believe it since life does exist on other planets- who is to say intelligent life does not exist- and if it does exist- who is to say they don’t abduct people and later dump their bodies. (For the record I’m not trying to be funny, I’m point out that now I am convince that someone can come up with the most preposterous nonsense and people will believe it.

          • WindyCityWondering says:

Have you sat on a jury trial as a juror? Reasonable doubt means different things to different people. I was very surprised they didn’t find her guilt of aggravated child neglect or endangerment because who loses their chlid and doesn’t report it??

            • mariareads says:

Agreed WindyCity. I was shocked that there was no neglect or endangerment! This is a complete travesty! I was on a jury trial for about 30 minutes. The prosecution made an error when asking a question and we were dismissed but the weight of being on a jury was not lost on me. It was a domestic violence kind of case and I was staring at the guy thinking that I (we) had to make a decision that would affect his life for a long time. I remember getting kind of dizzy and my heart pounding when I realized how ENORMOUS that responsibility is. That was about 4 years ago. Makes my heart race just to think about it. ~ I can see where the defense here was able to put reasonable doubt on the table right away and that stuck in the jurors minds. However, her behavior is a huge red flag for me. As you said-why the hell didn’t they have any suspicion when she did not report that child missing for a month? At the very least that is neglect and endangerment.

            • Di says:

Me too, though I was convinced it would be murder 1, but I didn’t think they’d give her the death penalty in the penalty phase. Show’s what a great psychic I am. You can never tell with juries.

I’ve never sat on jury (I always get kicked off prob b/c I’m an attorney), but I would love to. We spent about a year back in law school analyzing “reasonable doubt” because it’s tough to pin down–like the “reasonable man” analysis (what would a reasonable man do?). It’s more than “by a preponderance of the evidence” necessary to find liability in a civil case (anything more than 50%), but less than absolutely sure. Unfortunately, it can be difficult to find people who want to sit on a jury who are “reasonable.” Most “reasonable” people try to get out of jury duty, sadly.

The thing is “reasonable doubt” doesn’t mean— like RR pointed out—some crazy ass, preposterous, unbelievable story or stories in the Casey Anthony case.

              • mariareads says:

Di, I cannot tell you how seriously I took that moment when the judge chose me to go sit in the juror’s seat! I was incredibly interested in the process and very excited to be a part of it but I can still feel the pounding in my chest when I had to listen up and make sure I wasn’t letting anything but the “facts” influence me. The defendant looked pathetic and his lawyer was very effective. Too bad the 2 young prosecutors were so stupid. Even I, new to the process, realized as soon as 1 of them asked the question that she had given us information we weren’t supposed to have. To this day I have no idea why they chose me. My husband says I present the perfect picture. Don’t know what that means. I wasn’t trying to get out of it. I really wanted to be a part of it and do my civic duty. I just wasn’t ready to throw up over it!

                • Di says:

Maria, I don’t doubt you took your duty seriously–I can tell it from this post and your earlier post. You are the wonderful exception to my slightly-jaded rule of reasonable people trying to get off juries. Luckily, there are always exceptions to general rules. 🙂

  69. smompy says:

Even though I didn’t watch the entire Casey Anthony trial, that verdict is just so disappointing. Sickening, really. The American justice system is deeply flawed unfortunately. It seems to be much more about WHO is on the jury than about what evidence is presented. A good example of this was that infamous O.J Simpson jury. The last time I did jury duty myself, it was on a two month long trial for two gang members (with long criminal records) who were accused of rape, kidnapping, murder, attempted murder plus a weapons charge. One of their intended victims somehow survived being shot, stabbed and having her throat slit open, and she told tehe whole story. There were lots of other eyewitnesses who tied these guys to the crimes. There was also a ton of physical, ballistic and DNA evidence PLUS the defense didn’t even bother to present their case at all! After the DA finsihed, the defense just rested, saying they didn’t feel the prosecution proved those two guys’ guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. I was like, “YAY, we’ll delibrate for an hour and I’ll finally be done with making that hour-long drive to the courthouse twice twice a day, and all this ugliness will be behind me.” It was SO OBVIOUS to me that they were 100% guilty. There was more good evidence of their guilt than you ever saw on Court TV, or even in a TV show or movie, and my fellow jury members had all seemed normal and pretty intelligent up to that point too. It was a friendly group and we’d gotten to know each other pretty well…or so I thought. But at our first straw vote, three or four of them wanted to acquit those guys. I almost fell over. It took the rest of us five long days and nights (sequestered at a ratty Howard Johnson’s) to convince those renegade jury members to do the right thing. Basically they said they weren’t “comfortable passing judgement” that way….you know, because they “didn’t actually witness the crimes” themselves. Gristrating is not a strong enough word to describe how those people made me feel. So ever since that happened, each time I’ve been called for jury duty, I wormed my way out of it any way I could. Last time I told the judge I thought white people were all guilty of some crimes. And it worked! So anyway, it’s pretty hard to shock me when it comes to criminal verdicts now. When I heard about Casey Anthony’s verdict, I was of course sad for that poor little girl and disgusted that justice wouldn’t be done, but I wasn’t all that surprised, really. I guess maybe I’ll watch/read/listen if any of these jury members do interviews later, just to see what they were thinking. Even though I know doing that will only aggravate me anyway, I’ll prolly still do it.

I don’t blame the justice system, I blame the morons on the jury. The alternate who has spoken to the media and fully agreed with the jury said that he believed the death was an accident that ‘snowballed horribly out of control'(actually quoting the bimbo that was banging George Anthony) Tiny problem though, not a shred of evidence that the child drowned or that it happened as ‘an accident’. Zero. In fact, all presented evidence said the opposite. Why tape the child’s mouth if it were an accident? These idiots wanted video tape of the murder-nothing less. Beyond furious.

  70. VAgirl says:

All these television pundits have been calling the defense attorney an idiot for weeks. Now they’ll be calling him a genius. I’ve already heard a couple of them saying they knew all along this verdict was going to go that way – it’s sickening. I must stop watching.

    • Nancy says:

      VAgirl,
      Not Guilty doesn’t mean innocent.
So far the jury isn’t doing interviews.

OT: QUESTION: How do you all get people to follow you on twitter? I have a few and I don’t tweet much. Truly? I don’t understand the retweet and the reply. How dumb am I? Anyway, just wondering….

    • You can message them and ask them to follow you. Typically when someone follows me I follow them back. If you click on my name, it will bring you to my twitter. If I am not already following you, tweet me and I will.

Retweet means, you are taking someone elses tweet and tweeting it, so your followers will be able to see it too.
Reply means you are responding to specific tweet.

I’m so sorry Rabble. If we’re particularly vulnerable when these tragedies occur, it tends to go right to the deepest part of your vulnerabilty i.e. being depressed/sad/scared. Let’s talk about what an idiot I am on twitter. That should make you laugh. I didn’t have a photo of myself uploaded on my computer but I did have my son’s wedding photos so my photo on twitter is me with my husband, mother, sons and their friends. I look like the little mother of a polygamist family with the other wives hiding out somewhere else! ARGH!!!

    • Christine says:

RR, Get away from it. I had the same reaction initially but after letting it sink in, I went out to the pasture and began grooming my horses. My mind could only focus on them. I began to smile and laugh as they showed their appreciation with sloppy love bites and head rubs. I watered them down with the hose and soon all of us were soaking wet and happy. I then came back into the house, kissed my husband, and made a promise to myself to turn off any more pundits. Find whatever it is that you can enjoy and become completely consumed by. We can’t change this outcome but we can keep it from eating us up. Caylee is at peace away from this whacko family – Casey is in her own self-imposed Hell. 🙂
P.S. I wish JZ would take some of this advice.

Since the SGM wasn’t a hit, my sister-in-law and I bought whipped cream flavored vodka for the first time. I think I’m in love lol If only I could find the actual whipped cream in a can vodka stuff. Do you know how odd it seems to some of us that you can buy it at the grocery store. Kansas is SO conservative. We can only buy very weak booze at the grocery store. Crazy!

      • Nancy says:

You can’t buy alcohol in ANY grocery store in Canada.
You have to go to a government regulated liquor store.
AT least that was true when I lived there.

Where’d you live in KS? The further outside the big cities you go, the more conservative it gets. I find it amusing, but am glad to live where I do — nothing like a university to shake things up.

      • Pghemtchick says:

We just started allowing wine quiosks (not sure on that spelling) in certain select grocery stores. Other then that beer is at the beer distributor and liqour is at the state ran wine and spirit stores here in Pa.

  75. Kansas Girl says:

Here’s a lighter note. My neighbor is moving overseas. His wife and kids are already there and he’s been having garage sales. I have no idea how much stuff is left from their large house, but he was just telling me that tomorrow morning a 40′ container is being delivered on the street in front of the house. A tow truck will come to put his car in the container. Then he has 2 hours to load it. He plans to build a wall to contain the car in the front. He has 4 boards in the yard for the wall. I just urged him to go buy as many tie-downs as he can locate at the hardware store, as he was planning on the weight of the boxes to keep them from sliding around. Can you imagine how destroyed stuff is going to be when it arrives! He has no sense of the container aboard a ship on the high seas rocking back and forth with a car and boxes of dishes and books inside. I hope he sends a picture when it arrives! This guy may be a professor, but I conclude he’s not all that smart. LOL!

    • catmom1 says:

Why not suggest to him that he put wheel chocks (not sure if this is the right word or not, they are tringular shaped wedges) in front and behind the wheels to keep the car from moving.

      • Kansas Girl says:

He said he’s building some, but was rather vague about it. I guess he’ll make something of wood tomorrow in his two hours, as he’s mostly sitting on the porch smoking now. I’m so sorry I’ll be at work when the container is filled tomorrow. I’d love to sit here laughing.

I asked him if there will be room to squeeze past the car to get up front and he’s not sure. See why I want to watch?

    • LynnNChicago says:

I hope he takes your advice, there’s no way that 4 boards are going to contain a vehicle. It’ll be like throwing stuff off of a 5-story building (isn’t that what David Letterman used to do?)

      • Kansas Girl says:

LOL! Yes, that’s what I think the inside of that container will look like when it arrives. He’s back from his trip to buy tie-down straps. I wonder how many he got. I’d have bought them out, but I suspect he only got a few. He really seems to think a box of books will just sit without sliding, due to the weight. I think I’d chain the car down to all the hooks and bars available.

I’m imagining the container arrives with dents made from the inside and the contents totally broken up. I think I’ll make sure he’s got my email so he can send a photo.

I tell ya, there’s nothing like living in a town with a bunch of egg heads who think they understand the world. It keeps me laughing.

Maybe she thought Lynn was after her moldy book collection or on some secret mission to free the flying moneys chained to computers in her basement (can’t you just see her in full dominatrix wear with that ridiculous pony tail, cracking a whip and yelling, “Block, Block I say! Now vote—vote me queen of the polls! You–rumor patrol. Let’s do Ramona today. What do you mean what rumor? Make something up and make it Vile!!!!! <>.)
Then again, maybe she had a fantasy of Lynn coming to NY someday and they would go to central park and have a glass of wine and you know, talk things out like 2 little girls on a beach. When she saw the pic and realized Lynn left without even offering her a glass of water or asking if she wanted to go pee, it just broke her heart and she cried and Bobby told her not to worry, he would fix that mean old Lynn.
It certainly could NEVER be a simple humorous photo. Jill has no sense of humor–unless it is at someone else’s expense, so she will never see the funny in this. But I can’t help it, the use of the word intimidation is just so out of bounds all I can do is laugh. Paranoid much, Jill?

    • A says:

I’m still so confused at to what Jill means by “they tried to intimidate me.” Intimidate her into doing what, exactly? And, even if this were true, it’s Jill Zarin from a popular reality television show plus her huge pile of money and an army of lawyers against…average people. It wouldn’t even be a fair fight! I have to say, if I were in Jill’s shoes (god forbid), I would not even bat an eyelash at someone taking a picture in front of my *husband’s* store or sending me silly things in the mail. I would just go out and buy a new pair of diamonds or something. I definitely wouldn’t be complaining about stalkers and “mean tweeting”.

      • moneycanbuyyouass says:

Jill. No intimidation needed or implied. Just keep doing what you have been doing.

    • mariareads says:

I just can’t. It’s so damned hot and muggy here and I’m so cranky. I’m afraid I would smash my TV. More and more I can’t look at that woman. And to hear her will just give me nightmares. I think I might be done with watching NY if they don’t dump the old thing.

  83. Back to Big Brother –

Here’s a link to a site where they recap the live feeds. I’ve been getting my updates there for the last few seasons – and they do a great job 🙂

    http://mortystv.com/big_brother.shtml

Two more days and we’ll be distracted by even worse behavior than the housewives. I’d like to put Jill in the house with Evil Dick, Brendan, and Rachel for the summer 🙂

    • California35 says:

uh oh is that coming back? my BF will be Stuck to the tv those nights. What are those nights? So I can plan accordingly lol

      • it starts Thursday.

        Sundays 8:00PM on CBS
        Wednesdays 8:00PM on CBS
        Thursdays 9:00PM on CBS

        • Pghemtchick says:

Ugh Rachel and Jill would bond! Team Ginger! It’d be annoying cackle after cackle. Ginger would be the house pet. Poor Dick would end up with animal cruelty charges after Ginger peed on his cigs & he locked her in the sauna. Everytime Julie came on the screen Jill’d be shouting out for her to DM her so she can cohost. My head hurts already lol

        • mariareads says:

And don’t forget Big Brother After Dark for those of us who are hardcore! On Showtime!

        • California35 says:

Thank you!! I was only wondering but I am SOO glad I asked because although my BF new it was coming soon, he didn’t know the date. ALSO when I checked there was a conflict on the DVR, for the first night AND I fixed it :-).

          Thanks I’m a hero right now 🙂

  84. AZ Girl says:

After this CA verdict the judge should impose a “gag” clause on the sentencing. No talk show circuit, no writing a book, no movie rights. This goes for the immediate family and all involved with this case. I sick and tired of having people make money off of their criminal behavior. Manson, Menendez brothers, OJ. Victims? Yes they can make all the money they want the criminal should be silenced.

  85. VAgirl says:

Random thought. Has anyone ever wondered why Luann calls her son NoEL instest of NOel?

    • OneMoreInBoston says:

      ????
      Wow- that was pretty random.
and no I never noticed it until now. Probably some archaric aristocratic french pronunciation.
“well darling you know only the peasant class ever used NO-el, aristocrats like us Native American nurses have always used No-EL. Now send in Ross and run along-remember no taping racial epithets!- That’s a good boy”

      • moneycanbuyyouass says:

        Good one!! Chuckling out loud!!

      • Amy Matheson says:

Noel a French name, and that’s the French pronunciation. No different than Alex calling Johann (Yo-Han) and Francois by their German and French pronunciations.

Luann is usually a pretentious hag, but I can’t fault her for that. Noel seems sweet, if a little starved for her attention, but who knows? Hope they all grow up less screwed up than their parents.

    • BessiB says:

I would have said NoEL. The only NOel I have knows was Knowel.

      • VAgirl says:

I’ve always heard Noel Coward, the playwright, referred to as NOel I’ve known a couple of NOels. I’ve never known a NoEL. Oh well, learn somethin new everday. See what one little random thought created.

    • buffywood says:

What is really interesting is that she called him by both pronunciations in a single episode. I can’t believe I just remembered it but it was the one when they got the new puppy. It was on in the background and within just a few minutes she said it both ways. I ad to back it up to make sure I hear right… I thought “Damn she can’t even remember her own son’s name”.

      • Amy Matheson says:

LOL… Maybe she calls him NOel the same way I call my son Luka or Lukester and even the goofball Luc – with accent and all – as pet names.

But that presupposes affection, so I am taking that possibility off the table and agree that she probably forgot what his name was.

  87. Savannah001 says:

    Hi everyone,
I’m was thrilled with this blog in regards to Luann, yesterday I wasnt feeling well getting a cold so I was able to really watch each episode and Luann has brought forth BITCH this season no doubt about it and in a big way, she made me sick and you know she keeps repeating she plays no sides etc,, This woman isnt fooling most of America the woman SETS all the arguments up, and so does Jill. I kept screaming at the TV yesterday because all her bullshit about Simon and the meeting that he wanted to have with her, she KNOWS why he wanted to have it, really you think Bobby didnt tell her about his conversation with Simon. I would bet money that he told Jill that he confronted Simon and Jill knows the type of person that Simon is she knows he;s good hearted but instead of her telling Kelly what really was the reason she let Kelly go off on oh its so creepy. Jill should be ashamed of herself letting all this bullshit escalate.. It should have came as NO surprised to her that Simon would want to talk with her.

Bravo continues to do Jill BIG favors, they;ve already taped the reunion and if what cast members say is actually true they themselves havent at the time of the taping viewed all the episodes, is that true? I mean why would Bravo tape a reunion show without them seeing all the episodes? It doesnt make sense at all. Hadthey waited like what they usually do Jill would have had the same backlash as last season dont you guys think??

  90. kellynnola says:

As a former practicing attorney, I have to respect the verdict called by the jury in the Casey Anthony case. There has to be substantial evidence that we do not know about yet. 12 out of 12 jurors declared her not guilty, therefore that gives me reason to believe so. However, I still hold incredible belief that she killed little Caylee.

Unfortunately, some do get away in our judicial system and we may never know the truth. But if Casey is indeed guilty of the murder, she will have to answer to a higher judge one day which will be the biggest call of all.

    • AZ Girl says:

The prosecution did not do their job. Everyone needs to back off the jurors. They have to decide based on the information given to them.

      • kellynnola says:

I agree. The prosecuting attorneys were at fault when they tried to piece together information to get the jurors on their side, and they saw right through it.

        • Nancy says:

I couldn’t disagree with you more.

          • kellynnola says:

I understand that. I think Linda Drane Burdick did an exceptional job, but I think there were mistakes made.

            • kellynnola says:

In other words, they did what they did with the circumstantial evidence that they had, but in a case like this you must link the facts together properly or not at all. I, however, still think Casey is guilty.

    • I'm in Florida says:

Where is Dexter when you need him? Just kidding and I totally agree with Kellynnola!

      • No, I want Dexter. I respectfully disagree with Kellynnola.
If we follow the bouncing ball..

The child is dead….yet Caylee’s team disputed that until the body was found
Caylee was the last person to see the child alive
Caylee fabricated stories for more than a month about the child’s whereabouts
Caylee lied to the police when when questioned
Casey’s body was in left to rot in Caylee’s car

Nothing that Caylee said or did was constant with behavior someone would see from an accidental drowning.
Defense claims cover up because she was afraid she would be blamed, yet George not only knew but dumped the body. So who’s blame did she fear?

The ‘drowning’ scenario was never introduced until opening arguments at trial.

It’s a classic misdirect attempt by by the defense in layered lies, false allegations and bullshit.

      • VAgirl says:

It’s on the USA network, but you’ve already missed Jill’s scene.

        • Kansas Girl says:

I saw it. I think she’s ready for an Emmy. Or is it an Oscar? A Tony? A Grammy? One of those. I have some old trophies out in the garage. We could break off the baseball bat or tennis racquet and give her one of those. (Maybe we could paint a girdle on it.) I really need to get them out of the garage, so would be happy to donate. I’m charitable like that.

  92. boston02127 says:

  94. Adgirl says:

I totally think Casey is guilty … however ….
Nancy Grace has been crying on TV and telling stories about her twins. She is exactly like a charcature of a cable anchor from a movie.

    • VAgirl says:

Sorry, I can’t stomach Nancy Grace.

      • kellynnola says:

I am trying to listen to Nancy but it is extremely hard.

If she would cool down the commentary a bit, I might be able to stand her.

    • cabbie413 says:

nancygrace is ridiculous – can’t stand her, or how she built her tv career out of a year long DAILY commentary about Caylee Anthony’s murder/disappearance when much of the time could’ve been used to find/help other families as well.

Her “goodnight friend” and her exaggerated emotions get on my nerves.

    • katlg says:

      Adgirl,
YES to this, I can’t watch NG, to me she is sooooo smug and in your face if you don’t agree with and bow down to her way of thinking.
That said, I did watch her during the verdict, I wanted to see if her head spun around.

  95. Nancy says:

Casey’s Aunt is outraged that she was found “not guilty”.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Considering how her parents high tailed it out of the courtroom I wonder if they knew or suspected that Casey did murder her daughter too.

      • Nancy says:

Of course they knew. That’s why they stood up and left.
Where is Casey going to live now?

    • Adgirl says:

There is a woman who claims her late son is Caley’s dad. I wonder if she will be able to have the DNA test to prove it and if she will sue Casey for the loss of her grandchild.

      • Nancy says:

I was wondering where the dad was. I didn’t know he was dead.

I wanted to thank everyone for the wonderful things they said about their mothers. Today would have been my Mom’s 77 bday. She died over 34 years ago when I was 13 but today it feels like yesterday. She was a wonderful woman and a great Mom. Sorry just had to share.

    • Kansas Girl says:

Aw! You were so young. Happy birthday to you both! I think it would be ok to have a little birthday celebration just for her. Just a little remembrance for a good mom.

      • Nancy says:

I know that pain well. I lost
my mom when I was 6.

        • vilzvet says:

Wow, not only were you guys young but obviously your mothers were too! So many people in this world never get to live all their rightful years…

        • mariareads says:

Oh, Nancy! That is so painful for me to read. I can’t imagine how that was for you. My mother is 84 now and I worry every day. She moved to MD with us and she and my dad lived with us in CT for years before that. We just wanted them around our kids for their young lives and we’re so glad we were able to do that. I think it made my dad happy, who died at 73. He loved them so. My mom lives for her grandchildren and I try to get her up north as much as I can while she can still stand to ride in the car to Ct. But once she gets there she is fine with my brothers kids and my kids around her. Life deals us some tremendous blows but we carry on, don’t we? And I do believe when our parents are gone they continue to shine somewhere else and sometimes walk very close to us when we need them.

        • OH, I am so sorry.

    • VAgirl says:

(((((((Butters’Mom)))))) Luckily I still have my mom. She just turned 78 and she and my daughter and I are spending the day together tomorrow. I’m just realized lately that I will only have her for so much longer and I want to make sure her remaining years are as pleasant as possible. I’m making her sound ancient. She still lives alone and drives, but I can see her getting a little frailier lately. I’m so sorry you lost your mom at such a young age.

    • mariareads says:

I’m so glad you did share Butters’ Mom. 13 is a very difficult time to lose your mother. My heart goes out to the little girl you were but what a wonderful daughter you are to honor her so.

    • I’m sorry about your mom.I know myself that as old as I get, there are times when I also want and miss my mom too. It hurts my that my girls and my niece and nephew never got to meet her.

  100. Butters'Mom says:

    Thanks Kansas Girl.

We always combine the 4th of july celebration with her bday. I spent some time with my Mom’s best friend this weekend hearing the old stories. They were bff since they met in high school until the day she died. It is sort of like being with my mom in a small way.

  101. Kansas Girl says:

Anybody watching Million Dollar Decorator? Just finished here. Mary McDonald managed to talk smack about a potential client she rejected for having poor taste. Burning bridges. They again made a huge plug for that website I keep seeing advertise on facebook called something like one kings lane. Martyn advised them on buying stuff and they kept telling him his choices were too expensive. (I really want to start talking like him. He’s so elegantly snobbish.) The couple who don’t respect each other managed the ultimate spite — bulldozing out flooring and ensuring they can’t finish the job on time or budget. Oh, and Katheryn dropped so many hints to her former boyfriend (?) that she wanted to move in, it got a little repetitive. Why would this man have bought a country house with doors so low he had to duck through them? Gosh I love this show!

    • Kathryn’s ex seems like a great catch -rich, easy going, and easy on the eyes. I don’t blame her for dropping hints.

      I could not believe Mary.

I cannot believe Jeffrey. Why did he have the floors torn out so deeply?? What a nightmare.

I really love this show too!

      • Kansas Girl says:

Agree about Kathryn’s ex. I’d take him! I’d have no trouble with those doors, either. But she’d have to step out of the picture. When she said she’d be decorating for him forever, I thought not if I were in the picture, lady! LOL!

Those floors had wire coming up from the trenches. There must have been some other problem. I agreed with the owner — why not cement floors.

Don’t you want to talk like Martyn? THAT’s how you do it, Luann!

    • California35 says:

I’m still watching it – I seriously what to skip over the scenes with the couple who don’t get along ugh – I do like the others for sure….altough im still not sue of Katherine. So Mary will reject the $M business? Wow…, I must say that house looked sooooo much like houses made in a town near me. Huge house with huge space and very high sealings… I was wondering what town that is..

  102. VAgirl says:

Nancy. Sorry you and I keep missing each other. You had asked me earlier how I met my husband and if my parents approved. I met him at a party when I was 16 and he was 19. I had never really had a steady boyfriend until then. My mom didn’t like his long hair (he’s completely bald now), but when I graduated from high school and told my parents we were getting married, neither disapproved. My mom actually told him I was lucky to bet getting him and she was right! She still says he’s the best thing that ever happened to me. I’d like to think I had a little to do with knowing how to pick ’em. Lol. Our first apartment rent was $82 a month and we struggled to make ends meet. I think I was making $1.77 part time at a drug store and he wasn’t making much more at his job. We’ve come a long way since then.

    • Nancy says:

      VAgirl,
What a sweet story. I think things are different now and I don’t know if that’s
good or bad. The divorce rate in this country is over 50%. It seems to me that
couples throw in the towel way to soon. I didn’t really start dating until I was well into my 20’s due to my skating career. I met my husband at a party but I didn’t want to go out with him because I had a “No dating Doctors” rule.
I met him again 6 months later and I guess I saw something in him… and the rest is history. Do you have children?

      • VAgirl says:

It was destiny for you two. I have two daughters, one is almost 32 and one just turned 25. No granbabies yet, but the 32-year old says she’s going to start trying this fall. Sigh. We’ll see. The 25 year old is still single. Your kids are your cats and don’t you have a dog, too?

  103. Butters'Mom says:

Thanks VAgirl enjoy your time with her. I am envious but also enjoy greatly seeing people having good relationships with their Moms.

Nancy it is a shitty club to be in, isn’t it? If you have never read it check out the book “Motherless Daughters” by I think Hope Edlemen.

    • Nancy says:

The first time I looked at that book I couldn’t stop crying and I had just read the
inside cover. I need to read it again. It’s hard because you have no reference in life because I don’t know what is missing. I’m sure you understand. I also keep in touch with my mom’s best friend. It’s a comfort for me.
Thank-you for sharing your story with me.

  104. StLadue4ever says:

Shame on you Andy. What kind of a game are you playing.

  105. Amy Matheson says:

    OT but… Oh. mygod.

I would totally become a gay man in another life just for that Ross guy on Million Dollar Decorator. Holy what! He is ridiculously gorgeous. Now if only he would keep his obnoxious mouth shut and just smile pretty. He should be nicer to Jeffrey.

  106. Adgirl says:

Flipping Out is on! Secret showing!

    • Kansas Girl says:

Now? Dang! And I’ve gotta get some sleep, so can’t watch. Guess I’ll catch the “rerun”. Phooey! Darn that Andy and his “clever” programming.

    • VAgirl says:

I’m going to bed. I’ll catch it tomorrow,

    • You are so lucky. Bravo is playing NY here – Ick. I just rewatched the three witches cackling on the sofa about how Simon wasn’t a man and how Alex doesn’t deserve them. Alex is crazy – Jill just wants to play the victim – but LuLu is worse than both of them put together. Everything she accuses other people of she does – hypocrite. Her only relevance on the show is getting into Jill’s conflicts and making them worse.

  107. Adgirl says:

    Zoila: Keep it Gangster.
    LOL.

    • She is the BEST! Jenni too! Without them Jeff would come off very poorly on TV.

Speaking of – I wonder how Rachel Zoe will be without either Taylor or Brad this season. I thought Brad had a show – – –

  108. Amy Matheson says:

They are replaying White Collar and Jill is not being herself which makes her infinitely less hateful.

She surprisingly is on several times in that scene — and you know what? She doesn’t suck or look like a mad cow. I know I am just gushing and fawning over her now, but…

..IF Jill were even a tad bit more like this she might be tolerable or dare I say … less hateful and less hate-filled. Lose the sycophants, the yes-men/hangers-on and the superiority complex. Maybe that is too much to ask?

So I am gonna give Jillogical some props here.

  111. California35 says:

Uh oh this is also the episode when Ramona tells Bethenny that Jill likes the “underdog”…

    • California35 says:

It was so sweet the way Ramona and her friends were so nice to Bethenny…she thanked them all, but it got sawer when Ramnoa mentioned that she and her friends would build you up not like Jill that has to tear you down, or something like that. I’m glad I can watch these reruns… This one was one of those I really really want to see…all I remembered was that Ramona made a dig on Jill and in the process called Bethenny e underdog. How correct Ramona was, she really knew Jill from back then,

      • California35 says:

Bethenny has the photo shoot for her first book and she is so happy and talking about how she will die when her book is out. This is a good episode I am keeping it on my DVR until as long I can 🙂

Bobby confronted Simon about whether he had a roll in the hate blogging. Simon denied the accusation. Bobby accepted his response, then the two “men” shook hands. Simon then turns around and picks up the issue by getting in Jill’s face. Simon is bonafide crazy. Simon reminds me of Danielle from RHONJ when that gang rejected her on every side. Simon was kissing jill’s tail while she ridiculed his children. Simon is fueled by greed
Silex IS NOT SEXY at all.

However, do u not feel that Alex has been abused by both K and Lu? I’m interested to know how ppl who aren’t fans of Alex feel about that. Hope to hear back from u!

Shocker, your comment is still up. Probably due to the fact that IHJZ isn’t known for deleting comments unless they are over the top and disparaging of other posters.

You’re entitled to your opinion about Simon, but I personally think that Jill’s PR team is using and abusing a cause like bullying to make her seem sympathetic. It doesn’t. It makes her seem like a manipulator and a liar.

Sorry I havent been around but last thursday i was rushed to the e/r by ambulance thinking i had suffered a stroke
it turned out to be bells palsey but in the e/r they gave me a super strong steroid and it screwed up so much for me
after keeping my sugar and blood pressure numbers down great for over 4 years both went thru the roof and have stayed that way due to having to be weened off this steroid
and the stupid ass hospital the entire time i was there were giving me lower dosages of all my meds and couldnt figure out that between that and the steroid why my numbers wouldnt go down
they had Jimmy convinced i as gonna die every other day
i knew what the prob was and would tell anyone that would listen
what did they do instead they gave me test after test after test despite the fact that 2 days before i had gone for an anuall check up and all my numbers were good and my blood test said that my liver was ok my kidneys were ok ect, they still did the test for everyrthing
the last straw was when they put this asshole in my room that put the tv on full volume at 10 pm and preceded to go to sleep and leave it like that at 2:300 i finally went to the nurses station and asked could they please lower the volume
the guy in the bnext bed said i put it up because he snores i just said how could i possibly bee snoring when because of you i had not been able to fall asleep i then listed orally every single show he had on including the informercials and he shut up however the next day he would repeat that he didnt get any sleep because i snored in the mean time im supposed to be getting rest and got none then one of the doctors finally said to me i dont know why you are still here anything else you need to do you can do as an out patient including weening off the steroid
my gp still wouldnt sign me out so i signed myself out
my gp now has changed every single pill im on and has prescribed Actos which i just last week got a warning letter from my previous doctor that extended usage causes cancer!
sorry for the long rant im at my wits end

    missed you alll terriably
    Philip

      TDQ,
Are you feeling better? Hospitals are exhausting for patients.
I hope they figure out your meds.

      • MAMAZ says:

DQ – What a nightmare. I’m glad it wasn’t a stroke. Still it sounds like you had a real time of it. I hope they get your meds straightened out soon.

        • Mamaz thank you so very much
          it was a total nightmare
ive never been in a ambulance before and its not as glamorous as one would think
all my neighbours came out to stalk and stare but did not come up to my mom or to Jimmy to ask anything only to gossip

ill get the meds taken care of but right now they have me on all different ones and poor Jimmys head is spinning
he was taking it harder then me
with bells palsey it normally goes away after about 8 weeks but when your a diabetic it can become permanent

You poor sweet baby~I know a little about hospitals because of when my 1st hubby was in for colon & liver cancer. For the most part they are the greatest & most wonderful people in the world but sometimes you get real assholes.
How are feeling now? I am so glad they changed you medicine.
Missed you & your witty charm.
      Love & hugs
      Patty 🙂

      • Patty thanks so much you are right the people in the hospital for the most part were VERY sweet and loving im speaking of teh workers those nurses are over worked and far too underpayed and yet for the most part they honestly do care about thier paitients
its the doctors that are the horrorshows
not happy about the changes in the meds as they are the reason my numbers are all out of whack (that and the steroid but that was teh correct steroid to be taken for bells)
i had kept my sugar till then at the 92-130 range and my blood pressure was 140 over 80
in the hospital after just 1 day my sugar was at 360 and my blood pressure was 218 0ver 101

i just tested my sugar at 7 am i got it down to 167

dont ever wanna go thru anything like this again

    • Mookies1mom says:

Sounds like a scary and frustrating ordeal. I hope everything gets straightened out and you are feeling better!

    • (((((TDQ)))))

I’m glad things have stabilized. My BF had Bell’s Palsy a few years ago. It went away in about 4-8 weeks – but is very scary. I can’t imagine having it combined with diabetes. We’ve missed you around here. Get lots of rest and get strong!

    • Amy Matheson says:

Oh my gosh… 😦 what an awful experience.

I cannot believe no one in the hospital understood the correlation between steroid use and blood sugar. One of the first things they ask before administering a steroid is if you are diabetic.

I am so sorry for what you and your partner have been through and hope you continue to feel better every day.

      xo,
      Amy

Lynn you are really insightful about people and human nature.

I laugh at Kelly, she certainly exhibits an arrested development and 13 years old seems to be where her emotional development and maturity ended. Do you wonder if Giles keeps her close because he really has 3 children to look out for?

Lumann, what a moniker–has to be the devil incarnate. I really get the willys just looking at her cross face. She is an evil spirit.

Jill and Cindy are “non-factors,” like Lumann, I don’t even see them. I got that non-factor thing from Basketball Wives, cracked me up but so true in this instance too.

Sonja, I don’t know what to make of her, but if she thinks she is to good for her, then she is not good enough for me to watch.

Now Alex is truly someone I can identify with–she is very confident, what I love about her is that she is obviously happy with who she is and with what she has–most women aren’t because of self-esteem issues. She is nice on the inside and the outside, she has the same pleasing attitude all the time, she genuinely cares about all of humanity. She is what I would call a nice human being.

Best thing for me, I never have to watch another housewives show, I just have to come to your blog to confirm that nothing has changed.

Since Bethenny left, these broads really aren’t worth the time of day with the exception of Alex. Affluent women in this country should be outraged by the conduct of these silly, silly women, if this is what it is like not to have to worry about how your bills get paid, buying gas and groceries no matter what the price is, then I am most thankful for my “little” boring life and beautifully spirited friends. However, I believe all blessings come from God.

re: Casey Anthony, I am sorry folks, I haven’t been able to wrap my head around the fact that three years ago that Casey was riding around with the remains of her dead daughter in the trunk of the car for maybe as much as 5 days before discarding her like a cigarette butt in the woods. At the rate I am going it may be 2021 before I can even get to the trial phase.

  120. Debbie says:

    Anthony Juror #3
“Jennifer Ford, or juror No. 3, says the jurors were “sick to their stomachs” after voting to not convict Anthony in connection with the death of her daughter.Ford, a 32-year-old nursing student, told ABC News in an exclusive interview that she didn’t think there was enough evidence to convict Anthony.”I did not say she was innocent,” Ford told ABC.

“Everyone wonders why we didn’t speak to the media right away,” she said. “It was because we were sick to our stomach to get that verdict. We were crying and not just the women. It was emotional and we weren’t ready. We wanted to do it with integrity and not contribute to the sensationalism of the trial.”

I’m paraphrasing here…She went on to say that if they couldn’t determine the crime they couldn’t determine the penalty. In my opinion determining the penalty was not what they were charged to do.
The report went on to say:
“No doubt there will be more jurors speaking out as time goes on. One unconfirmed report says that one jury member is asking for a five figure payoff to tell their story.”

    So sad.

  121. Debbie says:

    I made a mistake.
She said if they could not determine the crime you can’t determine the PUNISHMENT.
