I Hate Jill Zarin Bethenny’s Honeymoon July 16, 2010

I Hate Jill Zarin                   Bethenny’s Honeymoon!             July 16, 2010

This show continues to impress me with the speed and momentum of events that we’re seeing.  I truly thought that the honeymoon would be at least one entire episode but we flew past that and returned back to New York City all in one hour.  The show is really jam packed with great material!

St Bart’s is so beautiful and truly a perfect place for a honeymoon.  The villa that Bethenny and Jason stayed in with its own private pool and wild reptiles at no additional charge is a dream!

What is it they say?  If it is a girl it will take the mommy’s beauty during the pregnancy.  Well poor Bethenny was hit with the ugly stick for a few weeks there and blew up like a balloon!

Where the hell did Bethenny find this Jason guy and why hadn’t someone swept him up before?  He says all the right things, does all the right things and truly seems to be the absolute perfect husband.  There just has to be something wrong somewhere, right?  We haven’t seen it yet, unless you count March Madness Basketball but they all watch that, don’t they?

I thought it was funny at the end of the last episode when Jason called out to answer the press letting them know the honeymoon was to take place in St. Bart’s.  While they were on their honeymoon Bethenny tweeted very little but sent a few photos of wild reptiles that were roaming their villa with cute little blurbs on each one.  I’m sure that was all she was allowed to send out since Bravo’s cameras were filming.  From what I understand the Bravo cameras did call it quits for a few days during their stay in St. Bart’s to allow Jason and Bethenny some real free time.

I think maybe we should call this episode the nudie show, we saw a lot more of Bethenny than necessary, particularly when she’s pregnant.  She took no time in whipping off her bra and jumping into the private pool with her new husband.  This would be all well and good for a couple honeymooning in St. Bart’s concealed pool, yet with Bravo’s camera’s running, I was a little surprised that she did that for the world to see.

Bethenny covered up, somewhat, to go to the beach with her new husband, it looks like the perfect location for the newlyweds lying on the beach together with the waves sliding in under them.  A little bit of romance and relaxation for the exhausted pair.  They laughed , they cried, it was better than having to clean up Iguana poop in your living room!  (They left the door open?  Huh?)

Take note, if you are pregnant and can’t join in with a pub crawl, you can always create a food crawl and who would know good food better than a Natural Foods Chef (or cook, or chef, Kelly?  Which is it?)  Since the pregnant woman can’t drink she did the next best thing and tasted all that St. Bart’s had to offer in fine cuisine!   Bethenny and Jason laugh a lot together, they complement each other and it is so great to see it all coming together for Bethenny!

Realizing that the pregnant woman can certainly be a buzz kill, Bethenny arranged for windsurfing lessons for Jason but while he was windsurfing (or rather falling down into the ocean) Bethenny seemed to have a moment about becoming a mother.  Many of us can relate to that moment when you’re about 7-months pregnant for the first time and realize that your life is going to change forever in a few months.  These few months are all you have left of your time alone with your husband.  Whether it is years or months of marriage when that first baby comes along, nothing will ever be the same again.  It isn’t a bad thing, just a truly life changing moment that is spectacularly emotional.

I didn’t realize how badly Bethenny wanted a little girl, she never let on during the Housewives or on Twitter and Facebook, and her dream to have a daughter was so strong.  I’m really happy that her dream came true, but I certainly hope that she can also know what it’s like to have a son because as the mother of both, I know that the two experiences are so different and equally amazing!   But I digress…

The amount of love and support that Jason shows to Bethenny in every situation comes through on screen, it is certainly sappy but I believe it is genuine love and support for his new wife.  In as much as it a man can understand what it is like for a woman to realize she is about to become a mommy to a new little life, Jason again, does everything right!

This show really has you crying one second then we get the pregnant woman lap dancing for her new husband with a ridiculous wig on each of their heads.   It is great that they have so much fun together, hysterical!

Before we know it the newlyweds have left the island of St Bart’s and have returned to the island of Manhattan.  Back on the therapist couch, Bethenny seems so much happier and relaxed now that the stress of the wedding is behind her and now she can focus on getting ready for the baby.

I am looking forward to seeing the newly decorated baby’s room.  Going with yellows and greens are safe since Bethenny did not know the sex of the baby prior to giving birth.  It is easy to amp up the little “girlyness” in the room after the fact.  I don’t share Bethenny’s love of particular stuffed animals but I’m sure that the baby’s room will have the same understated class as the rest of her apartment.

I know many women take those lovely pregnancy photos, personally, I don’t think they need to be nude, but once again we see a little more of Bethenny than necessary.  I actually preferred the photos with her clothes on, thanks very much but good for her, she’s certainly not afraid to pose nude in front of the camera.  She doesn’t need to do a Playboy shoot, it seems America has already seen plenty of Bethenny!

Bethenny has said that she really only wanted one child but Jason would like at least one more child, I think he’d really like to have a son.  Bethenny admitted that Jason is so great with the baby and changes diapers probably more than she does, so hopefully that will convince her that baby Bryn needs a sibling.

I was surprised to see that the previews show Bethenny going into labor, as I said earlier, this show certainly does move quickly.  I don’t know how many more episodes we have to go with Bethenny’s Getting Married? but it seems like it is going to be over before we know it.  We know that there will be a baby shower in Bethenny’s future after the birth since Alex let slip during her Chicago visit that she was heading back to New York to film the baby shower.

The previews also show Jason beginning to grow a beard, or he just forgot to shave?  We also see Jason and Bethenny’s assistant Julie fast asleep while Bethenny is in labor.  We know that will end with a cesarean section after several hours of labor.  Just remember while you’re watching Bethenny going through hell and pain and misery, THIS is the moment that Jill Zarin chose to post on Facebook and Twitter that Bethenny had given birth to a baby boy.  (All while Bethenny struggles to deliver her first baby girl)  Yes, never forget, I Hate Jill Zarin!  I can certainly see, as I watch BGM? Why Bethenny chose to move on from her friendship with Jill and never look back!  (hopefully)

Someone tweeted this, just for fun to vote for your favorite reality star, we can’t let a Kardashian beat Bethenny!

I don’t typically watch The View, but I will be on Thursday, since Bethenny is co-hosting!  In case anyone hasn’t heard, Bethenny also graces the cover of People Magazine this week, a must read!

In other news:

Teresa and her Juicy Joe are having a “forced” estate sale, according to reliable reports that include the Wall Street Journal.  This is the fallout of filing Bankruptcy and forgetting that you have a book that is bringing in royalties and a pizza place that you toured with your husband on screen.  It seems the Giudice’s failed to report some of their income and assets on their Bankruptcy documents, oops?  Not everyone is as stupid as you Teresa!  You can’t hide assets that you flaunt on television!  The brilliance of this couple never ceases to amazing me!

The sale will include the couple’s boat and furnishings from their home that will be sold and the funds raised will be paid to creditors.  It would be worth a trip to Jersey just to be present at this sale!  In stark contrast to Bethenny’s People cover, Teresa’s story is apparently deep inside the seedy National Enquirer, I haven’t seen it and have no intension of picking up a National Enquirer to see Teresa Giudice!

Teresa has been very quiet on Twitter, here’s what she had to say in the last few days:

Teresa Giudice via twitter:

Mollyelizabeth

I love Connecticut!!!!

NaughtyNiceRob    Exclusive! @Teresa_Giudice reaction to crazy Danielle Staub silly threat of a lawsuit! Danielle is ATTENTION SEEKING http://bit.ly/cN1uJ6

Thanks for all your concern about the publicity whore “suing” me. Really? Months and months later?

Here is Dina’s attempt to ensure to her Twitter fans that she is indeed still happily married to Tommy Manzo.

Dina Manzo via twitter:

Such a nice date in the Hamptons w my hubby. So nice to see him take a day off, he deserves it! Even if he did wear sneakers to the beach!

In his defense it was cold, we just went for a walk…lol.

Ok then, does it help that they were Prada sneakers? I won’t say anything about the blk dress socks that he had on with them…shhhh

Yes, Dina, we’re all impressed that your husband has Prada sneakers…..

  1. Olivia says:

The diving into the pool sans top is the kind of thing that bothers me. As you said, fine if this was done in private but to have it filmed and shown for the rest of us to see is going overboard into the realm of reality.

However, Ramona was willing to allow us to see her fat getting vacuumed out of her armpits, Danielle was willing to allow us to see her breast reconstructed and Botox being injected into lips, Alex’s pics were strewn all over the internet, Bethenny peeing into the bucket, Theresa brought us right into the labor and delivery room, and Caroline explained the art of shaving one’s face everyday. Nothing is left out.

    Too much information!

    • Noreen says:

It doesn’t bother me at all. What bothers me is that Bravo could show a lot less skin and edit it better. I remember this from the Girls Next Door. With the exceptions of their nipples being blurred, you could see everything. But the idea that Bettany and Jason jumped right into the pool was great.

    • Ellabean says:

My vote for Worst Too Much Information Moment – goes to :

      Drum roll:

Caroline Manzo shaving her face everyday. Horrible – just plain .horrible Reinforces certain stereotypes about certain types of hairy women.

      • kats2 says:

HA! I have not stopped thinking about that, and have no idea why she gave up that information. She must get a shadow thing in the evening like guys do, right? I wonder if it feels bristoly (sp?). I have all sorts of questions about it. Like how hairy was she that she had to shave? I’m obsessed with all things regarding excess hair and ways to get rid of it, but I would never resort to shaving my face.

Speaking of hair, what was that wax roller deal Bethenny used to wax her hair off? That I want to buy for my legs. Any ideas????

        • Tootsie says:

With a body like Bethenny’s I would walk around nude every day. I don’t want to see sex on TV but that ripping off of bra and wildly jumping into the pool was so innocent and funny. Bethenny is a free spirit and wouldn’t find anything wrong with her actions, neither do I.

        • WindyCityWondering says:

It looked like the Clean + Easy Wax Removal System – don’t know which one – I have one for eyebrows (little version) and it works on those upperlip hairs too. And I like the sea salt linen strips too. Hope that isn’t too much information! lol

          • here's the thing says:

The best way to get rid of excess facial hair without stubble is waxing and/or threading. It’s pricey and annoying and it hurts but it’s so worth it. Once a month and you are good to go.
Shaving is inefficient. I winced when I saw Caroline mention it. My facialist always yells at me when I she figures out I shave in between waxing (sometimes I can’t deal with the hair anymore).

            • Ellabean says:

NO NO NO GIRLFRIENDS – do NOT shave your face with a razor – – – – EVAH !!!! Once you start – then – you are hooked into maintenance like a friggin’ man has to shave !!!!

Yes. Then 5 o’clock shadow just like a man. I had a girlfriend* who started doing it in her early 30’s and it progressed from there – – that is why I am reacting so vehemently to Caroline’ s public admittance of such a thing.

A friend – not ‘code’ for me.

    • Maxine49 says:

I personally thought the semi nude shots were natural and gorgeous . I don’t think it was in any way vulgar. It was perfectly natural and celebrates the human condition. Americans are so squeamish about the human body…it’s part of our Puritan culture. I only wish I had had such pictures taken when I was younger and had the hot bod—pregnant and not pregnant.

      • Char212 says:

I’m with you Maxine. Nothing of B’s show bothered me at all. I too wish I had taken pictures like that of me with each one of my pregnancy’s. I found Bravo putting Grandma Wrinkles picture in place of Danielle’s boobs more offensive then anything B has done.

      • Jules says:

The photos don’t bother me either. They are so Bethenny, and by that I don’t mean that she has a thing for being nude all the time. Bethenny tries very hard not to be the actor that Kelly accuses them of being. and she always has been this way. The thing about Bethenny is that she tells it like it is, and she’s willing for things to be shown as they really are. For example, when she had that semi-drunken seen with Jason 1 where she tried to pin him down on moving in together, even though it wasn’t one of her most triumphant moments, it was authentic. What woman can’t relate to a relationship where perhaps they pushed a little too hard, or cared more than the other person? It is exactly this characteristic that makes her so relatable, and such a fan favorite.

I am equally surprised by the people that have a problem with her brassiness, because she will turn it on herself, as much as she will victimize anyone else with it. I loved it during the honeymoon episode when she told Jason not to compliment her, and he said something to the affect of, no, you are disgusting, but I love you anyway, and then she laughed.

I find it way more offensive when Bravo lets some of their housewives get away with bold faced lies unchecked, and when they pick and choose the comments they will post on their blog.

    • quincyillinois says:

      Stop the reality…Pleaaaaaaaaaaaase.

LOL… I spent my life in hospital labs… Nothing affects me.

    • Squirrels says:

I admit, 10 years ago I’d have been mortified to see nudity on prime time TV. Now day? Hell, nothing like being immersed with all that water on your skin. It’s a fab feeling for me. Also, I thought the photog did a great job with just her camera and a reflector. Images were beautiful. I always love doing those type of shots. In the final analysis, if Bethenny and Jason are cool with it all, who else should care?

      • Buffywood says:

Wow it is amazing how times have changed. Remember the big deal that was made out of Demi Moore’s nude pregnancy photos? I think they are beautiful and I am jeleous I didn’t have the nerve when I was pregnant either time (at 27 and at 40).

    • Sha2000 says:

TMI, agreed! Ginger pooping, B peeing not once but twice, underarm gunk, B removing hair from her belly & we have tacky RHONJ; all make me want to barf! Enough Bravo!!!! Give us fashions, homes & vacations to watch; that’s why we tune in (remember your main demographic bravo? Gay men & upper middle class women? The people who like NICE things) & leave the gross stuff of the shows that feature bug eating & the like.

  2. sugarmagnolia10 says:

When are these housewives going to learn that we don’t hate you for making mistakes; we just hate when you lie about it! Jill and her amazongate issue, and now Teresa with her bankruptcy. With Jill, we know what happened and wait for a mea culpa….With Teresa, she is straight up lying to the viewers. Now we find out she lied to the freaking IRS and bankruptcy court as well! Honestly, if they don’t wise up and start telling the truth they are going to end up in jail. They didn’t just bounce a check, they are in deep deep debt….

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Very good point – when you open your life up to viewers via a reality tv show then you better be real and you better not have major skeletons in your closets! Lying is so difficult to do in this instant access to information age. Criminal activities – are you kidding us? Regardless of the rationale – lying will always be lying, crimes should be prosecuted and criminals should go to jail. And when castmates can’t keep the show on the show and have to take it to the public – the viewers have the right to comment on that too.

Bravo may get rating from these idiots’ lives but they also need to understand that their product needs to entertain the viewing public! There are too many blogs, news outlets, and their own network website to pretend they don’t know how viewers feel.

    • Snarkella says:

I think like Jill, Teresa once had a lot of supporters. I have to admit, even I bought her cutesy act. How gullible am I? Do you think, like Jill, we will see Teresa’s supporters start turning on her — now that it’s become quite evident what a horrible, bullying, lying b_tch she is?

      • Maxine49 says:

Yes, Snark, I think you are right…people are turning on Teresa in droves…and rightly so…she’s a grifting lying bitch! I was horrified at her retelling of the rumble story to Joe…she was like a 7 year old…did you hear those squeals…OMG…what kind of crazy was that?

        • Snarkella says:

Yes. Those squeals were embarrassing. Glad you brought the subject up. In that episode full of crazy, those squeals freaked me out more than anything.

        • quincyillinois says:

I would love to know what the producers say to each other while editing these shows.

Jeff Lewis will be on WWHL on Mon. with Danielle. That is a match made in heaven.

      • WindyCityWondering says:

They are turning on her on her Bravo blog. While some say they still love her – her behavior is not being tolerated as much as before. So like Jill, her fans are leaving and she probably has no redeeming value at this point either…..

  3. DJ Loops Fruit says:

it seems to be only in this country where people seem so uptight about nudity of any kind
please these two were on thier honeymoons and everything was blurred for the screen
    so whats the big deal

    • kats2 says:

DJ Loops Fruit- I totally agree with you about it not being a big deal, this kind of thing will vary from person to person all over the world. But please don’t take this the wrong way, I mean no harm. But please don’t make these kinds of general statements. It’s like saying everyone in France is rude, everyone in Jersey is trash, etc. . . .it’s just not true. I’m born and raised in the US, in a NOT NAKED family (I think Charlotte from Sex and the City used that expression) and I had no problem with all the nudity that was shown on BGM last night. No big deal, I agree.

    • scorpiosue1102 says:

Totally agree. If they were getting it on it would be one thing, but skinny dipping eh. Also, the pictures of Bethenny were gorgeous. It shows that she feels comfortable and even though she berates herself she is confident in her own skin.

  4. Maryla says:

I think that this episode shows that Bethenny is worldly — that being ashamed of your body in the Caribbean is a sensibility reserved for uptight snobs like JZ. (I don’t want to say her name anymore, i feel it is like wizards who won’t say Voldemart — just too evil).

On another topic — in watching reruns of RHONY, season 2 yesterday (had it on while tidying the house, so not paying full attention). It seems to me that JZ’s true colors were evident in every scene, they just weren’t played up like in season 3. For example, while planning a menu with Bethenny for a charity event, JZ just sat there whining, “I hate this, I hate that.” That caterer kept her cool — with Bethenny working overtime trying to keep things professional with that nagging harpy by her side.

And now, through the episodes of BGM, I think about how scenes would be different if JZ were in the picture, and the truth is that she is just a wet blanket. I can see why Bethenny washed that girl right out of her hair!

    • Snarkella says:

I agree Maryla. I think Jill’s brand of friendship is draining — even when she’s a friend and not an enemy, it’s just too much. Bethenny must feel so much lighter now that Jill is out of her life.

    • Maxine49 says:

LOL—and we know JZ picks the menu based upon the leftovers she can bring home to the dog….baby lamb chops indeed!

    • Pantry Viewer says:

I agree. I began watching the franchise during season 2 and didn’t like Jill right away. I found her annoying, fake and pretentious without any redeeming qualities. I couldn’t believe she was considered a fan favorite.

      • quincyillinois says:

Some of the dresses show a great deal of cleavage. In fact, we have seen more of Jill’s breasts at fashion shows than we saw of the blurred Bethenny last night.

Something was going on with the cleavage of Jacqueline on her right breast. There was a red line which may have been the scar of the breast reduction. I noticed it every time they panned on her.

Alex had a thong type swim suit on in season one’s Virgin Island trip. You saw more of her than Bethenn’y fuzzy rear….coming out of the pool.

I’m so glad that we haven’t seen Bobby or Andy’s rears. I’m looking forward to Mario’s Virgin Island trip. He’s hot.

  5. quincyillinois says:

I am used to naked Bethenny. Pregnant, not pregnant,…….. seen it.

    I know she urinates too.

    Somehow…it doesn’t bother me.

    • Just done says:

I’m with you Quincy, it doesn’t bother me either.

    • Noreen says:

I think it is genuinely reality t.v. She puts it ALL out there and it is incredibly refreshing.

      • kats2 says:

Hi Noreen – totally off topic

I love your name! Someone I’m related to and is near and dear to me is also a Noreen and seeing this name on here made me smile. The Noreen I know is trying but still challenged by all things internet related, but she does try.

By any chance are you Irish?

        • quincyillinois says:

          I am…Irish… LOL>…

        • Noreen says:

          Hi!

Thank you – I’m glad it brought a smile to your face!

I am Irish – my father was from Donegal and came here when he was 19. His first job was running the carousel on Coney Island!

  6. Snarkella says:

    Hi Everyone
And thanks to: WindyCityWondering, quincyillinois, kats2 , error 404, BamaBelle, Brianna, Maxine49, mom2shelbyshae, & Jules for your support yesterday when I was having my little panic attack. It was so nice of all of you to care about some petty little problem of someone you don’t even know. I took mom2shelbyshae’s advice and it’s over, it was uneventful, and I don’t have to see them again for a very long time.

Thanks also to Lynn for just having this wonderful blog available to us.

And while I’m making speeches, I’d just like to add to boston02127, who made the comment, “ROAD TRIP! Bring your pom pom’s” regarding Teresa’s predicament, thanks, you made my day. That is the funniest damn thing I’ve heard in a while.

    • viki55 says:

So how did you finally end up handling it?

      • Snarkella says:

There was really nothing to handle, except getting over my pent up emotions from our last meeting. This time around she was friendly and sweet. Like a completely different person. And he was a perfect gentleman. Once I got over my awkward confusion of how we went from really weird to pretty normal, it was all fine. But I’m still happy I don’t have to see them again for a long time!

        • viki55 says:

So great:) I didn’t know what advice to offer! Perhaps the last time around they were having marriage issues or something. Glad you don’t have to handle them living closer;)

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Hooray for you – glad it was a better get together this time!

  7. vilzvet says:

For the fun of it I did a search on that gorgeous honeymoon villa and it goes for (no surprise) $1,300.00 per night! I knew it had to be top dollar because of Bethenny wanting to go there, she surely wasn’t planning to go a Days Inn. So if anyone was thinking of booking it, there you go!

    • Laura aka Just done says:

vizvilet – I just checked B’s website, and went to the website of the hotel. I’m not sure if you remembered, but they stayed at “the villa.” That is listed as 2885 euro or $3,726 per night! It has 3 bathrooms (why is that necessary? LOL) but it looks exquisite.

  8. Night Light says:

Everytime I think of last night’s honeymoon episode I get a silly smile and feel so happy for Bethenny! I didn’t mind skinny dip or photo shoot one bit. Bethenny true to form is doing what she would if the cameras were not there and I think that’s why I enjoyed it so much. It was a fun, light, relaxing and loving episode which I have been waiting for all season. (this one I can watch over and over again) By the way, I have the black version of Jason. lol! There is nothing in the world like finding your perfect partner in life who embraces all of you.

    • quincyillinois says:

I am so happy for the Hoppys… It gives me hope to see Bethenny find joy in life.

      • Night Light says:

When you least expect it 🙂

      • MAMAZ says:

Night Light – I feel the same way. KKB talks a lot about “being real” but Bethenny just is. The scenes may be set up and even restaged sometimes but she doesn’t shy away from showing us how she would behave if the camera weren’t rolling. I don’t think it was gratuitous, we saw her naked, frolicking in the pool, but we also saw her emotionally naked on the beach facing the reality of becoming a parent.

        • Night Light says:

I like that, “Bethenny just is.” Love it or hate but I love it! Isn’t it Friday? Turtle time. lol

    • Pantry Viewer says:

LOL, Night Light! That was cute.

I was going to write a post, but yours says my sentiments exactly how I feel about the show!

      • Night Light says:

Mrs. Hoppy Sr. must be so happy for her son. Have you seen the previews? I thought it was funny Bethenny was going through labor and her “team” falls asleep! At one point it seems she was in labor 18 hours. Yikes.

  9. WindyCityWondering says:

Bethenny has give us all a “No Jill Zone” and I am happy about that! At times during BGM? I wonder what some scenes would have been like if JZ was there! None were pleasant thoughts… Viewers can complain about what Bethenny allows to be filmed but it is her life and her choice to show us whatever she wants. She is an amazing woman, living an amazing life and trying hard to show us how thankful she is for all of it! She managed to make pregnancy pretty but also conveyed the uncomfortable aspects of it with humor. Her show is an hour of smiles and giggles for me and a big reminder that reality tv doesn’t have to be full of hateful, petty drama.

So Bethenny can show me her visits to the therapist, her big, beautiful, pregnant body, her forays into unchartered territories (decorating a baby’s room can be both frustrating and amazing) and all the silly little details (the food crawl was fantastic and the cankles made me laugh out loud) that make her who she is. As for Jason – Bethenny got the gold ring on the marriage go round – she knows it, she loves it and it shows! She is an inspiration to the everyday woman on too many levels to detail here – bottomline for me is her willingness to share both her successes and her fears. Whatever her future holds – I am rooting for her!

And watching B navigate her life makes me hate the vile creature Jill Zarin even more!

    • Night Light says:

      Cheers!!!!

    • Snarkella says:

I think Bethenny has been pretty upfront about using her stint with reality TV to further her career goals/brand. I think she has done a good job of putting herself out there and not trying to manipulate her onscreen image (the exact opposite of what Jill & Kelly do). She shows everything and lets the viewer love it or leave it. I think that strategy has served her well.

I read somewhere recently (maybe People) that she doesn’t see reality TV being part of her life for much longer.

I really like her and wish her all the best in whatever she does!

    • error 404 says:

I actually don’t think about Jill once when watching BGM?, and that’s fine with me. 🙂

Did anyone else see the above Kelly tweet? How convenient that she posted this just hours after stating she is doing a new jewelry line and she hopes that HSN or QVC will show it…

    • Snarkella says:

      Haha. Typical Kelly PR.

      • MAMAZ says:

Wouldn’t a fall jewelry line be done already? The stores are all featuring fall clothes. If she is only designing it now by the time production was done I would think the spring lines would be out.

Um..okay. Who the hell is afraid to shop via TV anymore? What is this 1983? Maybe her next tweet will let us know it is now safe to use fax machines and VCRs.

      Thanks Vilzvet! 🙂

Great Blog Lynn!!! I’m running out of words to describe how enjoyable BGM is to watch.

Just proves that viewers of Bravo recognize and appreciate entertainment that is class vs. trash. I’m sure there are many, many dynamic women like Bethenny in this world, Bravo please dig deeper to find them and do a major re-cast of all HW shows.

It’s time to Take the Trash Out and I have an idea of how you can go with a bang – Take Jill, Kelly, Luann, Teresa, Jac, Ashley, Manzo Women, Danielle, Atlanta (minus Kandi), all current OC crew and send them to some island. Make it a pay per view event and let them – have at each other (table flip and hair pull to their death). And let that be the last we ever see them on our TV again.

    • Noreen says:

I’m sorry Kats, I have to correct you: that’s Manzo “Woman.” LOL – what is with Danielle and her inability to understand that women is the plural of woman. Did you hear crying and screaming from the back of her car at the “fight”? “I want those woman arrested.” She is such a low life – which is really low considering the company she keeps.

    • golfnut says:

      Or…
Maybe they can all go on my guilty pleasure “WIPEOUT”. It would be fun to watch them all get covered with mud, wacked with a sweeper arm and bounced off the big balls. I DVR “WIPEOUT” and BGM? so I can watch them back to back on Th after my workout. Last night I had two full hours of laughing and slept like a baby. Can’t wait for next Th.

  12. nancy says:

Different issue. Yes, I did see where Jill was coming back on Reality Tea. Her words. Big wright up. Miss, ” I am on meth ” was pictured beside her. Fastly RT. or someone took it off. Know what I read. Jill said she would be back and would not leave.

    Thank you,
    Nanvy

    • viki55 says:

It is not just up to her. The offer has to come from Bravo. I think several people here have already stated that the offers have not been made yet. I think it has been said and beaten to death at this point.

  13. nancy says:

Got your point. It was stated here that it was not true that RT had a wright up. My word is important. Next subject.

    • Kokuanani says:

Not to be a nit-picker, but it’s “write up.”

Hard to understand as “wright up.”

  14. kats2 says:

Jill also said she was a size 2 and we all know that’s not true.

    • Maxine49 says:

Size 2! In what universe? That’s too funny…she’s got to be close to 10-12….and there’s nothing wrong with that. What’s wrong is her constant lying!

      • Laura aka Just done says:

Yeah, if Jill’s a 2, them I’m a 12! I don’t know who she thinks she’s fooling, what is she going to tell us next, the camera adds 10 lbs? C’mon.

        • quincyillinois says:

The camera does add weight. I am amazed when I see local news people and they look normal in real life, but puggy on tv.

          • Squirrels says:

Wide mm lenses distort the truth. Long lenses make u look thinner. This is why most fashion shots are done with long lenses at a distance. It’s not unusual to see the photographer 20 yards away shooting a model.

        • felony stupid says:

Then to quote Chandler Bing: “wow, how many cameras are on her?”

      • Noreen says:

As a sizing expert (because I have every size of clothing in my closet – sigh!), I know a size two, a size two used to be my friend, and you, Jill Zarin, are no size two.

    • Snarkella says:

I think Jill’s been working on herself lately. Maybe diet & exercise? In the last few photos I saw of her, she looked really great. That’s a big compliment considering I can’t stand her. Let’s hope she is working on her inner beauty as well.

      • error 404 says:

it seems to go up and down, perhaps with the outfit or the spank. One pic of her with Indrani she had a tight silver dress on and looked great, then a day or 2 later, again with Indrani, she had this ugly red oversized tank blouse over shorts and her belly was back.

        • Quincy IL says:

Maybe, Jill lied to Kelly and does use cleanse. That would account for the 20 lbs up and down in days.

    • Squirrels says:

Actually Jill claims to be a size one.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Ahhh, it is the eternal question: To Spanx or not to Spanx! Jill can pack sausage with the best of them….so I blame Spanxs for the various sizes we see in her numerous pictures.

  15. Laura aka Just done says:

OT, but I had to post this. Teresa keeps saying that her home is worth $5 mil. Some have posted $1.2 million. Thanks to zillow, this is the estimate of her home: http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/6-Indian-Ln-Towaco-NJ-07082/39445722_zpid/

    • Squirrels says:

ouch. That’s quite a hit. I almost feel badly for them. Ok, that’s a lie. I don’t give a ratz tail.

      • error 404 says:

It’s a half price sale! lol

But seriously, it’s got no pool and is next to a highway, although it would make a great Walmart!

    • Noreen says:

To be fair, that is from 2002 and I think it was just for the lot. Although, with the market of ugly mcmansions being in the toilet and all, it could be very accurate

      • Laura aka Just done says:

        Noreen,

It states that it’s for a single family home and it has the “last updated” on it. Here it is: $601,500 (Range) $565K – $812K -$7,000 — (Last Updated) 07/15/2010.

I am in Jersey, and I watch my home value all the time on Zillow. I have taken a hit in this market, but no where near where Theresa is claiming to be.

If you look at the graph, the last time Theresa’s home was worth $1.1 was in September, 2007. These women wouldn’t know the truth if it hit them over the head. Also what I found interesting was the amount of tax they paid every year. Not much more than what I pay ($1K) and it’s more land. That is interesting.

Jacqueline & Chris on the other hand, there house is valued at almost $3 million, with $29K in taxes a year. That’s insane!

        • error 404 says:

OK, I just “zillowed” my street (I’m in westchester NY) and more modest houses like my own took like a 10% hit, while the more McMansiony ones on the block are now half-price. Yes, that is the sound of me laughing at my ostentatious neighbors’ bad luck. The McMansioner next door, aka the bane of my existence, is looking into sub-dividing his land to build more McMansions for profit. I’m trying to figure out how one become Norma Ray. Expect photos of me blocking the path of bulldozers to follow in the future.

          • Laura aka Just done says:

LOL error! Zillow is a wonderful thing, isn’t it?

            • Maybe the property tax is based on what they were paying before the house was finished?
I live in NJ too, and property tax is part land, part home, and if a home does not have a certificate of occupancy, it is not included in the tax assessment. (just the land).
As for the current value of the home & property, I cannot remember what they had it listed as, maybe in the 3s?
It was quickly taken off the market and they denied that it was for sale even thought it was officially listed with a MLS number etc.
I think someone may have pointed out that it wasn’t a good idea to try and sell it for whatever they had it listed at when the bankruptcy asset list had it listed much much lower?
And we all know that Teresa told danielle, (and the rest of the world), that she lives in a 5 million dollar mansion-ugh!
              Someone up-thread mentioned Teresa’s “squeal”.
Yeah, it was hideous. And I wonder if she sounded like that the other day when the WSJ story broke? Or when Juicy Joe tries to get her to hand-over her HW paycheck?

              • error 404 says:

“…and if a home does not have a certificate of occupancy, it is not included in the tax assessment. ”

OMG, I wouldn’t put it past these two! They’d basically be squatters. lol

              • Laura aka Just done says:

someone needs to get a tax accessor in that house so they are paying the correct property taxes! As you know housewifehater, property taxes in NJ are horrible. They paid $13K in 2009. That might sound like alot to those of you who don’t live in Jersey, but trust me, it’s average. In a home that size on a property that large, it should be much higher.

      • Quincy IL says:

I thought that it was way too low. Look at the custom doors at the entrance, that driveway and water fountain. Those are very high ticket items.

We should have a game show and name that price for all of the housewives homes in foreclosure, short sale, or dangling on the edge of a busy expressway.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

other property on the street isn’t over one million so where the math genius got five million remains to be seen. maybe it is all the custom work inside that puts it around five million?

      • Laura aka Just done says:

You have a point, but let’s not forget, her appliances are only worth $2K according to the bankruptcy filing. Did she tell them that her house had only onyx and marble in it? LOL Wish I could be in the courtroom for that one!

        • WindyCityWondering says:

wondering if all the vendors (stonework, ironwork, etc) will get to pull their stuff out of or off of the house to satisfy a portion of what is owed them??

    • Jules says:

Laura aka Just Done – that estimate is for an unimproved lot. Yes, it is the correct address, but it is just for the land, and that is why there is no date filled in for year built. Look at the date, because it was before they built the home.

  17. sugarmagnolia10 says:

want to weigh in on Albie….My husband has ADD, and is an attorney. When he was in law school, he did get accomodations for his ADD. He was allowed to take exams in alone in a room to avoid distractions (these days, exams are all on computer (unless you choose to hand write them). He got no other provisions, and it really leveled the playing field as he went to a school that grades on a curve (i.e. only a few can get A’s, and even a C paper/exam can end in a failing grade). He also had to go through tons and tons of red tape. My husbands school required at least 3 years of records from a physician or therapist documenting any learning disabilities. There had to be forms and affadavits signed off by his doctor.

My husband is a successful, working attorney, who runs his own law firm. He graduated in the top 20% of his class, wrote for law review, interned for the chief justice of our state’s supreme court, and was honored by the National Order of the Barrister. Had he not attended a school that worked with him, even conservatively, towards his needs, the law would be minus a great legal mind.

I don’t know what Albie’s learning disability is, but it is extremely difficult to get accomodations for testing. For those that think he waited too long to get help, let me remind you that law school grades are ONLY based on finals. They get one shot per semester to earn grades. Albie was dismissed after his second semester of law school. Most likely, he got bad grades after his first semester, put on probation, and had one shot to get himself off of probation–second semester.

It’s a crap shoot and relative to experience. If you’re worried about Albies abilities, I would say that if he ever gets licensced, just don’t hire him! Bad grades do not a bad lawyer make….there are many shady lawyers who graduated at the top of their class….

    • error 404 says:

I have dyslexia and somehow still managed to achieve not only an ivy-league master degree, but am a licensed professional. How did I do it? Oh yeah, hard work. Help for anyone? No! What did I not do? Skip class, instead spending all my time filming a tv show.

Albie is a Manzo, and like most kids on this show was taught from an early age to never take responsibility for your own actions, always blame someone else for your own failures, and when all else fails, just make a big public scene and maybe you’ll get your way just so you’ll shut up.

      These people disgust me.

On the bright side, he should be able to commute to the courthouse with cousin Ashley,a s she too will be spending a lot of time there int he coming months.

      • Laura aka Just done says:

        well said Error!

        • What kills me about the Albie situation is that they don’t give us any practical info. about what type of help, (beside legal help), would be used.
Like Dyslexia, I’m thinking that using audio-recordings, instead-of text, to learn the material might go a long way, and then there are high-tech or other techniques that would be interesting to know about.
I did see where there is a process to use a laptop for essays, and the LSATS publish a list of people who are approved for that.
Also-the extra time thing. They will give extra, but never unlimited time on the LSAT.
Besides the testing accommodations, I would really like to see the different ways that have been devised to help students learn the material in the first place.
The Manzos really are not contributing to the cause as much as I thought they would, besides showing unconditional support, and trying to find loopholes in the system.
I really thought we would see Albie dealing with the problem in a hands-on way with novel learning methods.

          • WindyCityWondering says:

At the luncheon scene with her sisters, Caroline said he had the problem in middle school – if she had gotten him help then. IMO she would have said so but she didn’t so I am thinking he got no help in high school either! All kids need unconditional love and support – and some need more than that. Telling your child to shoot for the moon and go for whatever it is they want to be is not enough – given Albie’s disability. Hanging this on a college that they used a loophole to get into is garbage!

            • Squirrels says:

That’s the point. What disability? Is he diagnosed? Without a diagnosis it is very difficult to get help within the educational system. We were lucky that my son has an extra chromosome, but I saw so many moms and dads pulling their hair out over the years, trying to get services for their children. Back in the late 80’s/early 90’s, the term autism did not exist in mainstream America, but it certainly existed in the classroom.

To understand what it was like back then, imagine you have a toddler with obvious developmental delays. Go to the medical community and they tell you it’s an educational issue. Go to the school and they tell you it’s medical in nature.

I think sometimes, doctors bring miracle babies into the world and don’t think about what happens after they leave the O.R. So many children are dumped onto the Ed system it is overwhelming their resources. It’s been an issue for nearly 3 decades. Those children who have a shot at reaching their full potential usually have parents who refuse to take no for an answer. This continues today.

              • Jules says:

What I find odd is that Caroline said in the episode that Albie has had a learning disability since Junior High School. Everyone that I have ever know that had ADD had problems with it since elementary school. So, did they ignore it for years, or did his parent just figure out a way in middle school to make excuses for him. He never did take the LSAT, and admitted to that in an interview.

I loved this episode of BGM! I’m so happy for B. Hoppy. Good for her for being entertaining without drama and evil darkness. Thank g-d Shill Z is not on this show. I can just imagine her complaints and horrible criticisms of B during this awesome honeymoon.

  20. knocknoc says:

Seeing Bethenny at the beach and seeing the two little girls in swim suits wearing water wings was a heart warming moment. As they played, chasing and calling out to each other. Bethenny stood still and absorbed the moment and it enabled her to imagine how her little girl would behave while playing on the beach. The vision of the girls brought tears to her eyes and watching her revealed how eager she was to have her own little girl.

I am so happy Bethenny and Jason dream came true and now love little Bryn.

I know she has been critical of Jill, but this is a little over the top. Saying Jason has already moved out! That just seeme to be below the belt if you ask me. I guess it is time for the build you up to tear you down, that this country seems to enjoy so much!

    • boston02127 says:

@2Stupid–I’ve read things by Ilana Angel before. She’s a Jill Zarin. She’s totally a miserable person. She has nothing nice to say about anyone.

I don’t understand how this blogger went from liking Bethenny to disliking Bethenny in a matter of a few weeks. All of a sudden, she can’t find any redeeming qualities about Bethenny. Very strange!

      • MAMAZ says:

She liked Bethenny when she saw her as a victim of Jill Zarins. Now that Bethenny is happy and successful she hates her. Hmm, sounds like someone else.
Some people can’t stand other peoples joy.
Didn’t Ilana once complain that Bethenny doesn’t own up to being Jewish? Her father was Jewish but not religous. Her mother converted for her father’s family. She wasn’t raised in ANY spiritual tradition.

        • Quincy IL says:

I read an article where Bethenny said that Bryn would be Catholic because Jason and his parent practise that religion. Maybe, she has a problem with that since she made a big deal about Bethenny and being Jewish.

Those decisions are for the family. It’s not our business.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

While I enjoy varied opinions and takes on situations, I do not enjoy a total piss in the cornflakes blog. 23. error 404 says:

I didn’t mind the nudity, especially since we really didn’t see anything. I think it’s nice when people can be less uptight about this sort of stuff. They weren’t sex scenes, which I think the world could do with less of, they just happened to be nude and I think the pool skinny dipping scene showed their more playful side and I was a lot less offended than I was by the fully clothed lap dance scene. Ew.

One thing I will say though, is after they blurred out J’s crotch and I remembered he was in front of what I assume is a mostly male camera crew, I figured he must have nothing to be embarrassed about….. nudge nudge, wink wink

    • Char212 says:

It didn’t bother me either error. They blurred what they should and it was showing them having fun. Like I said above, I was more offended when Andy on WWHL put pics of Grandma Wrinkles in place of Danielle’s boobs. That offended me because he was being crass and rude and putting Danielle down. Don’t get me wrong, I do not like Danielle but that was uncalled for and just plain mean imo.

    • Quincy IL says:

Will we be seeing any long tail photos of the squirrel on the net anytime soon?
Some provacative poses with a little less fur perhaps?

I have been in so many photos since my grandchild was born. There are swimming suit photos on line at this very moment. Grandma is the same size as Jill Zarin at Chico’s and feeling pretty good about those exercise classes.
None of my friends see the wrinkles because everyone is too vain to put their glasses on.

      • MAMAZ says:

Why is it ok for an actor to do a nude scene in a film but not a person on a reality show? What difference does it make if you are portraying a fictional character or skinnydipping with your husband on your honeymoon!
And someday Bryn will see the photos of her mother when she was pregnant and know that she was loved and celebrated(sorry for the kelly word, it really seems to apply here) before she was born. She will know that her mother was proud of and joyful over that belly.

Yes, I did see where Jills says she will be back on RT. Someone took it off fastly. My word is very important to me. Thank you for your comments. Oh, yes I dislike Jill.

    Thank you,
    Nancy

    • Char212 says:

Well, it wouldn’t surprise me if she comes back. She probably feels she has to TRY to change her image and reputation but a leopard can’t change it’s spots so I don’t see that happening.

    • Laura aka Just done says:

      Nancy,

I know I want you and your opinions here. That’s what makes this such a great blog, being able to share all of our views w/out fear of malicious comments. I will look forward to reading your comments, and if you read something of mine that you disagree with, feel free to let me know. I might not be from Paterson (LOL), but I’m originally from NY. I can take it! 🙂

    • Quincy IL says:

We believe you. Jill says a lot of stuff. We just don’t believe Jill.

  27. I think Jill’s tweet about Bethenny’s baby boy will live forever as one of the biggest boners in Real Housewives history-LOL

    • WindyCityWondering says:

I rank it in the top three Jill should be hated reasons!

    • icantstandthetoxicity says:

I am surprised that Jill’s “baby announcement” wasn’t brought up at the reunion.

      • WindyCityWondering says:

Maybe it would have but Bethenny put a stop to the staking of Vampire Jill…..or maybe Bethenny just couldn’t stomach whatever lie Jill would have used for doing something so totally inappropriate as to announce a birth before the parents did!

        • icantstandthetoxicity says:

I was looking forward to seeing how Jill would talk her way out of that blunder. That would have been interesting. lol

  28. 2Stupid says:

OT-Is anyone else as excited as I am about Flipping Out starting back? My husband has a man crush on Jeff Lewis and never misses an episode. I am so curious about if he and Ryan made up. I have the feeling that they are no longer friends.

    • Char212 says:

I am, I love that show. Jeff is quite a lovable character but I’m not sure I could work for him lol. In a way I hope him and Ryan didn’t make up. There’s something about Ryan that bothers me and not trust him.

      • 2Stupid says:

Yeah, me too. Last year before the show started I googled Jeff Lewis and was taken to Ryan’s site. I knew for a fact Jeff wasn’t making that up. I tried to post that when that episode aired in the comments on Jeff and Ryan’s blog, but Suprise, Surprise it never posted. I just feel like Jeff really felt connected to Ryan and Chloe.

        • Char212 says:

I did that too and went right to Ryan’s page. Jeff did feel a connection and he really loved Chloe, he was so funny with her. Didn’t Ryan move away though?

          • 2Stupid says:

He was talking about moving at the end of the season. You could still be friends though, I think it was an excuse to break ties.

      • Snarkella says:

Oh yay! Other Jeff Lewis fans!

    • golfnut says:

Love Jeff Lewis, warts and all. Wish he would come to my house and help me make up my mind about the kitchen I’m remodeling. He has a great eye for detail. Jenni is my favorite I Love Love Jenni.

    • Jules says:

Yes, I love Flipping Out, but alot of people don’t like Jeff Lewis. Even though he is difficult, I can deal with anyone that owns their crap, and Jeff does that. He is funny too, so I am excited.

I don’t think he and Ryan are friends. That site that Ryan had at flippingout.com was shutdown right after the reunion episode last year. I think Ryan voluntarily took it down, because it was all about him, and he did not want the world to know what a jerk he was. I think Jeff can be paranoid, but in the case of Ryan, I think he was right on the money. It is too bad, because Ryan’s friendship was important to Jeff, but what do you do when you can’t trust someone.

  29. Butters'Mom says:

Great blog. I didn’t mind the nudity. I did think it was pretty obvious that they filmed the honeymoon for only about 3 days (first 2 days and last day) and then let them have private time the rest of the week. I just think it is nice to see a couple who “gets” each other and can tease each other and just plain have fun together. I cannot wait until next week!

  30. boston02127 says:

In this video Caroline says Albie is working on a case at his firm.

    • boston02127 says:

In the above video Jacqueline says she just had a baby 2 weeks ago. Her son is about one now. Didn’t Albie just begin law school a year ago?

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Damn, I thought it was livestock judging! The timeline for some comments don’t match up but then telling the truth isn’t really this groups forte…..

  31. boston02127 says:

Kelly’s tweet: Just hung out with Jen gilbert. She is a killer party planner. Call savethedate if u want a hot event, or not

    • MAMAZ says:

Boston: from Kelly’s tweet “Call savethedate if u want a hot event, or not’
Why would I call them if I DIDN”T want a hot event?

“Hello, savethe date, may I help you?”
“Yes, hello, MamaZ here. I do not want a hot event.”
      “Uhm, hello?”
“Yes, you said that already, I repeat I do NOT want a hot event.”
“This is savethedate. We are party planners.”
“Sigh, I KNOW, but I DO NOT want a hot event. Kelly Killoren Bensimmon said to call you if I don’t want a hot event.”
“That crazy, effin’ bitch! I wish she’d quit tweeting about us! #@*&^%%

    • Adgirl says:

      “…or not” ?
What does that mean exactly? Call Jen Gilbert; if you want an event that is NOT hot, or if you don’t want an event at all, or just call her to quiz her about her pantry accomodations?

I’m taking bets that Jacqueline’s secret twitter meeting was with Stephen Z.

He is suing Danielle today. She damaged his reputation.

    • boston02127 says:

@QuincyIL–I can’t believe how she tweets. She acts like she’s 15 with all the time in the world. I wonder who takes care of her two little boys all the time.

      • Quincy IL says:

I bet that she has help. It’s hard to believe that J and T clean those large homes and have time for shopping and beauty appts.

        • WindyCityWondering says:

While I haven’t heard Jacq talk about cleaning her house, Teresa insists she cleans her whole house by herself. Well cleaning all those stone floors and surfaces is great practice for her next home….and I also hope she see the fashionworthiness of the color orange and jumpsuits!

    • Char212 says:

If this keeps up they all will be living in tent city after they pay off all their lawyer fees, fines and back taxes.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

IMO the whole Jac and Teresa questioning Steve before the poker game didn’t ring true – these people can convince themselves just about anything but maybe in the real world – not the same outcome???
Steve and Danielle made some pretty poor choices and suing a consenting partner for damage to your reputation sounds like one hell of a stretch!

      • 2Stupid says:

You would have to prove ANY of these people had any character prior to their “slander” claims. The assault maybe, but Danielle or this Steve bozo couldn’t possibly have their reputations damaged more than when they open their mouth. When Danielle was screaming and saying she didn’t like violence, all I could think is I bet your victim didn’t care for violence when you were pistol whipping them. The only word to describe most of her associates, herself included is THUGS.

        • MAMAZ says:

I bet that was the meeting Jacq was talking about. LOL!
What a bunch. Well he has a point. At least as much of a point as Danielle about her character being defamed. Good luck to all of them. They’re gonna need it.

        • Maxine49 says:

I am no Danielle defender—make no mistake about that; however, I did read all the court papers on Danielle and the sentencing and probation reports. Danielle never pistol whipped anyone. The 9mm gun was found in the car with the three men in it—one of whom was the so-called victim. I say this because the “victim” suggested calling his father in upstate NY to get the $24K to pay for the drugs that were stolen. The victim’s father that they were shaking down for the $24K had a known Mafia connection, too. Danielle was not in the car…they arrested her back at the apartment. That is the only mention of a gun in any of the court papers. She plead guilty to a single charge and was placed on 5 years probation and ordered to undertake drug counseling. She was never imprisoned. She also was never convicted of prostitution. She was an exotic dancer and a paid escort….so I guess one can extrapolate from there. However, a lot of what the NJ Housewives are spewing about Danielle is simply inaccurate.

  33. ilovelynn says:

a couple of things: that jewish journal lady is full of sh*t, it sounds like jill zarin wrote that. if you read the comments, 99% of them are against her and for bethenny.

I bought the Star(god help me) and there’s a 2 page article with bethenny’s mom denying everything. there is a horrible picture of her, she looks 88, not 58! she definitely looks like she has an eating disorder. again, too stupid to know how to supply links. someone tell me and I’ll try.

last, but not least, I found the last bottle of “skinny girl margarita” in a wegmans here in nj. the salesman said it “flew” off the shelves! just waiting for 5 pm to open it.(although…..it must be 5 pm somewhere……)

      • WindyCityWondering says:

If Bethenny says she had a horrible childhood – she would be the one who would know! She is an adult now and it may be even more evident to her just how bad it really was….raised by wolves in a cave – trying to use humor to cover. Saying she knows crazy in reference to Kelly – means she lived it first hand. Saying she had to hide in closets or call the police -painful to hear. Bonnie for whatever reason (money?) is speaking out now. What really got me was the picture of little Bethenny with the racoon, sleep deprived eyes – she looks lost and she looks broken but that smile is there…..

      • tuzentswurth says:

I saw this picture of B’s mom who has suddenly come out of the woodwork….didn’t we know it would happen. I raised some questions several blogs back not knowing anything about B’s family background. Error, I believe responded. One look at the pic of B’s mom, I stand corrected. That says it all, Error…..I believe!

        • IMJ says:

I hate it when parents somehow blame adult children for the horrible things they encounter at the hands of their parents, like its their fault. Its so ridiculous.

    • Laura aka Just done says:

ilovelynn…you’re right, it’s 5 p.m. somewhere AND it’s Friday! Open it up and enjoy (jealous smile here in Madison, NJ)! Never would have thought to go to Wegmans!

    • Maxine49 says:

Bottoms up, ilovelynn, you’re gonna love the Skinny Girl!

  34. ilovelynn says:

    2stupid: OMG! thanks

    • 2Stupid says:

No problem. I would like to see the other pictures of Bethenny. If her Mom is an interior design professor, maybe that is where Bethenny go some her taste, and maybe where she developed her OCD for no clutter and organization. I hate to tell her that all goes out the window when the baby gets mobile. My house looks like a tornado hit it on any given day and I am pretty OCD myself.

      • Need a Hobby says:

Just by the by, based on what I’ve seen on the net which of course is limited info, I’m not sure that Birk having a BFA and teaching a couple continuing education courses at a community college actually qualifies anyone as a “professor.” It’s not like it’s teaching at Parsons, after all. Maybe, of course, Birk has done more but it’s not evident on the net, FWIW.

Another theory about B’s “OCD” may be that Bethenny (besides perhaps a natural disposition) responded to what she perceived as a chaotic home life with a need for order and organization. Evident from B’s discussions with her therapist that she has some control issues. B tries to limit and manage the chaos of life which at time seems (from her perspective) to threaten to overwhelm her.

With marriage, a baby, and the emotional/financial security that she now appears to have, she’s probably learning she can let go somewhat and the world doesn’t collapse. She’ll still have her drive to achieve and succeed but it may be from a more secure basis—a sense of achievement and providing for herself and others— rather than a need to prove herself.

As Jason said, after being single for so long, they’re not alone anymore. They’re a team. That’s a huge change and adjustment especially for Bethenny, but she’s obviously smart and self-aware enough to grab on to it and do what it takes (working on herself and exorcising her personal demons and fears) to make it work.

  35. Adgirl says:

The Jewish Journal lady has admitted before she doesn’t understand (nor cares for) the Bethenny Frankel charm. She did like a BGM episode a few weeks ago.

But really, Bethenny’s machine gun mouth isn’t for everyone. Sometimes I wonder how Jason doesn’t tell her to “zip it”! (And I adore her.)

According to viewing the show – being around Bethenny would be tantamount to living on stage with Joan Rivers.

FYI- I don’t think she like Jill much either.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Jason doesn’t say zip it, he says Babe……and she gets it!

    • icantstandthetoxicity says:

I commented on Ilanna Angel’s blog but my comments are being moderated before they post. Does she always moderate her comments? This is the first time I’ve ever commented on her blog. I wonder if she is moderating the comments because she is getting slammed today. lol

      • Maxine49 says:

Who is Ilanna Angel? And what is her blog?

        • MAMAZ says:

She writes for The Jewish Journal. I think her column is called Keeping the Faith. She really trashed Jill Zarin on RHONY. Now Bethenny. I think she mainly doesn’t like Bethenny because she doesn’t embrace her Jewish ancestry.

  36. CRH216 says:

Oddly enough the nudity doesn’t bother me! LOL I don’t know why. Maybe because it was blured out. I know she referenced in the reunion she puts it all out there because she feels people will feel cheated otherwise…aka damned if you do, damned if you don’t. I respect her for that.
The only time I took any issue were the peeing scenes. There was the one with the peeing on the pregnancy stick and the one where she peed in the bucket. I think that’s when she should have drawed the line, but if she was ok with it, then so be it. I just hope that’s it with the peeing!

    • Need a Hobby says:

The nudity really didn’t bother me. The blurring in the pool scene was more intrusive IMO since clearly they were nude. (Not that I wanted or needed to see their personal bits.) But Jason said what I was thinking: B’s boobs could serve as flotation devices, so there was a humorous aspect to it.

Hell, I used to belong to gym club close to work where several of my co-workers (including top mgt) also belonged. I saw much more of them than I cared to. It’s not like the club scrimped on towels, LOL.

The peeing in the bucket thing is what usually I would say was way too TMI and gross…..but in the context I found it hysterically funny and was LOLing. Such is life.

  37. Quincy IL says:

If Bethenny Frankel was not outrageous, we wouldn’t be fascinated with her. Let’s face it, a lot of us live mundane lives. We don’t have weekends with Bravo celebrities or attend fashion shows. The high light of our weekend is a trip to the grocery store and a great bargain on hamburger. So watching Bethenny deal with megadeals, best selling book due dates, and the lack of bathroom facilities at fantastic NYC restaurants are of interest to us. When was the last time that you had to wade through a forest of designer dresses or have a bachelorette party in Atlantic City?

Bethenny was smart enough to know that being ordinary won’t make a splash in that pool. Iguana poop is the perfect compliment to the luxurious hotel suite with private pool. She’s in the middle of labor and she excuses herself for that burp. That is golden comedy.

Somehow, Bethenny’s life seems to be perfectly balanced on the head of a pin. I love “That Girl!”

  38. Wendy says:

Hi everyone. Happy Friday, just got home from work and it’s been a long and hot week. (Hey Teresa soon you will know the feeling of looking forward to the weekend because you will have to get a job, Honey. That is if you are not in jail) Anyway, I’m about ready to hook up to my pinot grigio iv drip (Turtle Time) and I wanted to announce my very own Mazel of the week. It goes to….drum roll…..John Swilok, Teresa and Joe’s Chapter 7 Trustee!!! Great job Man! You are awesome for uncovering all the hidden assets and exposing them for the liars and crooks we all know they are! Cheers!
Great blog as always Lynn. I love coming here and reading all the great comments. Fun times!

    • Squirrels says:

Great Mazel ! I bet he was shaking his head as all this unfolded.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Mazel to the trustee – agreed!
Watching Giamonster’s birthday party and checked out the kitchen – I just love the stove/oven in her kitchen. We are talking a Wolfe or Viking Professional – 60″ puppy – at Direct Buy it would go for over $9,000 (and that is about 30% off retail)…..this is like playing the price is right! They valued their appliances at $2,000? That is going to be some kinda Estate Sale, wondering if vendors get to go in first to satisfy what is owed them.

    • Maxine49 says:

LOL…uncovering hidden assets! Hell, all the trustee had to do was watch the damn show…I bet his wife clued him in. I was ready to call the bankruptcy trustee myself on Monday after I read their petition and saw the schedule of assets. I bet there were plenty of people contacting him…including some of the creditors and their wives.

    • Quincy IL says:

I wonder if his wife watches the show.

      • MAMAZ says:

Joe will probably claim that they paid contractor prices for the appliances. And that the work was done by his company for cost. But that shouldn’t change the value should it? I’m not up on this bancruptcy stuff.

        • Maxine49 says:

Some of the unsecured creditors in his bankruptcy petition are the man who built the forged iron staircase and building material suppliers, etc. Jog & Teresa have more problems than just fraud on the bankruptcy court. When they took the mortgage out on the Towaco property they would have had to sign papers that all the tradesmen and material suppliers were paid. They were not. And now they could be facing loan fraud charges, both state and federal. I can’t wait for the perp walk…wonder if Teresa will say “Ain’t I cute,” when she’s wearing the prison jumpsuit!

    • Snarkella says:

Would love to hear what Juicy Joe had to say to Teresa about opening her big braggy mouth on camera too much. Doesn’t that nitwit know you should keep quiet about your illegal activity.

    • TEB says:

Shouldn’t we make sure we email the Trustee this information? Just in case he’s busy with other stuff? If you google his name… the website comes up and you can contact them.

    • Jules says:

I am surprised that I was ever worried about them getting away with all their lies, and omissions on their bankruptcy petition. Afterall, they screwed enough people out of money that you can rest assured that some of the people they ripped off, and some of the contractors they never paid were watching episodes of the show right along with us, and as a result had all the evidence they needed to pass it on to the district attorney. Having been out all that money they had far more incentive than those of us that were just merely incensed by their audacity. I must admit that when I first heard word of these new developments it had me smiling all day.

  39. HD says:

Honestly, I did not care too much for last night’s episode. In actuality I found it to be a little boring. Skinny dipping, walking on the beach, eating, meeting with therapist, baby shopping. And I do like Bethanny. I get her wit because I do that too. Not all the time like her, she does it A LOT and after a while that would get on my last nerve. But I get her.

Even in getting her, I was bored last night. I actually flipped to Tru Blood to watch an episode that I had already seen during the boring parts of the show. Bethanny getting her stomach waxed is not really TV worthy for me. Actually Bethanny having a baby is not TV show worthy. Women have babies in this world all day long and the world just keeps on turning. I have a baby and so do millions upon millions of other women. To me it is not breaking news unless it is happening to you or perhaps a close friend, etc.

I loved the build up to the wedding but after that, okay, Jason and B are married and I suppose they will live a normal married life like most married couples. I am not even sure the antics of being a new mom can carry the show because all mothers at some point were new moms and we have lived this already. It does not excite me.

Don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy Bethanny but I think she should be done with reality TV and enjoy the fruits of her labor, her husband and new baby. How many liquor bottle signings, book signings and “oh wow look what Bryn did today” can I find interesting? I think this should be the last season. We get it, you have it all, you got the career, the man, the baby. I just am not all that much interested anymore. If I wanted to watch a woman in labor and delivery they have shows for that. Better yet, I was in labor for 24 hours and just like Bethanny ended up with a C-section and just like Bethanny had a baby girl and similiar to Bethanny named my daughter Brianna all while I was 19 and a sophomore in college. So I have been there done that. Don’t need to see it again.

Please don’t take this as me not liking her I just do not see what can really keep viewers tuned into a character who pretty much we know all about and there are no twist and turns, new characters introduced, etc. The show is pretty flat other than her one liners which after a while can be draining if you have ever been around someone that does that all the time. A few, yes, all the time, grates at my nerves.

Okay…I’m ready. Bring it on. LOL! 🙂

    • HD says:

By the way I wasn’t saying her daughter’s name was Brianna, I was trying to say they are both derived from Brian/Bryan.

And please know, yes, I love B, still can’t stand Jill, but this is how I feel and I know we can be open and honest here. Thanks.

      • Char212 says:

I can see your point but I enjoy her show. I guess we’ll have to wait and see where the show takes us. I’d like to see what she goes through to get her brands going and creating her things. That would be interesting to me.

        • HD says:

Now that would be interesting. I guess it depends on how much Bravo tries to milk Bethanny and hope she does not let them milk her dry.

You know how something is cute but then it starts to SERIOUSLY get on your nerves? That is how I see this going down unless as you suggested, they deal with her brand and other things outside of her motherhood and such. Jon and Kate was interesting in regards to babies (I didn’t watch it but apparently people did) because it was soooooooooooo many babies. Had she had one baby no one would have cared. Eventually that would get old real quick.

Dealing with her brand, the people she interacts with, etc would be good. But Bethanny, Jason and Bryn, not enough meat there to hold a show. I am just being honest. Thank you for letting me be honest and hearing what I had to say. I appreciate that.

    • Squirrels says:

I completely get your point. For me, the lack of drama and looking at that beautiful beach setting, etc. was a turn on. (no-not THAT type of turn on). It’s been a long time since I’ve glanced at, never mind baby stuff, so that was interesting as well. Dunno about the lime green, though. Hope the walls aren’t plastered with it.

      • Squirrels says:

sorry, “never mind buy baby stuff”

      • HD says:

Thank you, Squirrels for hearing me and letting me get that out. I know Lynn is very open but sometimes to be honest, I am “afraid” to say what I really want to say. I say it anyway but I just know the heat is coming. (Which by the way no one has ever done that here besides on crazy-Kelly like troll)

I want it to be clear just like anyone you meet in life no one is going to do something you love 24 hours a day for the rest of your life and when you see something you don’t like or whatever, I am glad that it can be expressed without the hounds of hell nipping at your heels. LOL!

There are moments of the show that made me smile. I love Jason and his interactions with B. I loved her tearing up seeing the kids on the beach. I know how that feels. I actually loved the skinny dipping because I am a natural born freak for my husband (LOL), but the other stuff was so so. Not anything to make me watch for an hour.

      • HD says:

Thank you, Squirrels for understanding where I was coming from. Sometimes I am “afraid” to post certain things because I do not want the hounds of hell nipping at my heels. (No one has done that here except for that crazed Kelly-like troll) I know Lynn has a blog that is open to different thoughts, opinions, etc. but it is the norm to feel a little antsy going against the grain. Thank you for listening and letting me voice my opinion.

No one is ever going to do something that you love 24 hours a day. No matter how much I claim to like Bethenny, she is human, she is flawed and some things she does gets on my nerves. Some parts of the show I loved. I love Jason and how he interacts with Bethenny, I love how she teared up on the beach seeing the kids. I have been there before. I loved the skinny dipping because I am a natural born freak for my husband (LOL). They just got married. What did you (rhetorical you) think they were going to wear? Burkas?? Give me a break. She is with her new husband! Be thankful you didn’t seeing her riding him reverse cowgirl with tassels on her nipples! Because if it was me….well….

So some parts are interesting but other parts are highly boring and I was just not that interested in watching Jason scoop up poop off the floor. Give me a little more. And if she doesn’t want to give more of her life, I get it. Hell if you videoed my life 24 hours a day, NO ONE would tune in. I am boring!

        • HD says:

I didn’t think my first post posted so I posted again and of course forgot what I said the first time and changed my words so it is kinda like two different post. Sorry.

        • Maxine49 says:

HD, I think Bravo or Shed Media has frat boys editing the footage–after all we’ve seen dog poop at JillZ and now iguana poop on BGM. It won’t be the last poop we see, I’ll bet on that.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Understand where you are coming from.
BGM? is like reality tv lite. And a refreshing change of pace from the RHONY season.
Bethenny is probably very aware of what material she has left and I don’t think it was a full season series – I think it was a summer replacement half the episodes deal.

      • MAMAZ says:

HD- Nobody minds that you aren’t crazy about BGM? You didn’t trash her, the show or the people who do enjoy watching. You gave valid points for why you feel the way you do instead of just spewing venom and calling people names. If only everyone would be so respectful when disagreeing.

        • Jules says:

Yeah, nobody minds what you said. Truth be known, a big part of the enjoyment we all get out of Bethenny’s show with all her successess, and seeing her get everything she has ever wanted is knowing Jill is not a part of it. Even more than that is knowing that it is eating Jill, and Kelly up. We it not for the fact that Jill, and Kelly were so terrible this last season we all might not be enjoying BMG as much as we have been. Anyway, it doesn’t really matter because everybody has their own opinion, and they are entitled to it.

      • dumberries says:

Good post HD – I understand your points. You made me think (thanks a lot!) about whether or not another season would be a good idea and what I would do if I were B.

I think we have to feel invested in tv personalities (real or fictional) to watch them regularly. A lot of viewers are invested in Bethenny and have watched her grow for 3 years. Also, the human reflex to protect someone who is “being done wrong” really kicked in for a lot of viewers when Zarin started implementing her plot. Defending B against Zarin only expanded the viewers’ investment in B; Zarin can’t even imagine how much she propelled what she was trying to destroy (hee hee). I can see why loyal fans of B would want to watch her from week to week for another season or more of BGM. The fact that the show might contain a lot of stuff that the viewers have already lived (like new marriage and baby experiences) is probably a plus for a lot of viewers too. The ability to relate to the character and their life experiences seems like a key to sitcom longevity (B described BGM as a kind of sitcom reality show). I liken it to Roseanne, Seinfeld, Mary Tyler Moore – sitcoms where we watched the same cast of characters do things we do every day, but their personalities and interactions made us tune in from week to week.

If I were B, I would probably do one more season of BGM (or talking head segments for RHNY season 4) just to stay in the public eye while my product brands were being deeply seeded (unless a better non-reality tv opportunity was presented). Then, I’d look to do a cooking show or talk show outside of the Bravo network, to continue broadening my audience while moving away from the intrusive reality format. I agree with HD that having cameras in your personal life for any real length of time is destructive to personal relationship, and the “star” can become irritating to viewers as we see their flaws unfold over a long period of time.

I just love that line from RHONJ’s Dina! It may be my favorite line of any in Ho’wives’ history! I had to like her just for that.

One of the nice things about Lynn’s blog is that people are indeed allowed to express their opinions within reason. Others may not agree, but as long as a poster is not a troll and not trying to stir up shit, that’s ok. We can discuss.

And Lynn is a gracious host. She doesn’t try to control the conversation or stomp on posters as long as people are engaging in civil conversation and not deliberately stirring up shit. Having been on a number of messageboards, etc. through the years, I can say that such “moderation” from someone with that ability is indeed worthy of note.

I think I disagreed with some of your comments. But I was home sick today, feeling like shit & bored since I’m not up to doing chores and decided to indulge in post 5 o’clock margaritas for purely medicinal purposes, you understand. My aches and pains are gone. I did some small tasks, I can still type so all is good.

What were we talking about? LOL.

Anyway that posts anywhere that this is a mean “hate” blog is just completely full of shit.

HD, I also see your point. I think the “niceness” and honesty of the show is very refreshing. I find it one of those shows that just makes you feel good and smile. I feel I relate to Bethenny on so many thing, it is almost like watching her validates me (my thoughts, decisions, etc.). With that said I don’t think it is sustainable, nor do I think having such a public life would be good for her, her marriage or her child in the long run.

I would like to see her do something less invasive into her life… a talk show, possibly with “real” people? Hey, maybe she can get a permanent position on the view? I don’t watch that show now, but I would if she was one it. Since she is such good friends with Hoda, how about co-hosting that segment of The Today Show? I think that would be excellent!

In the future I would like to see more of her, but not in the context of watching her personal life so much. With that said a peek into her life every once in a while wouldn’t be so bad either.

        • Need a Hobby says:

RHONY, BGM and the second season which I think will happen, are just stepping stones for Bethenny….to other opportunities. These shows are not ends or careers in themselves for Bethenny.

No surprise that B’s book sales soared when BGM was put on the air. Right now it’s a promotional tool to her other enterprises. I think she’ll continue on to at least a second season while continuing her other enterprises. And eventually move on to something else…perhaps a less personal show that showcases her personality and her abilities. Perhaps a less conventional “talk show” sort of format that blends “reality TV” with guests and food/lifestyle stuff. I think years ago she mentioned she sort of aspired to be a more modern, hip sort of Martha Stewart. Bethenny seems on track for that.

      • Snarkella says:

I loved Bethenny’s honeymoon episode. I found myself smiling through the whole thing. What an adorable couple. But for the sake of her new family, I hope she chooses to make this her last season. Now that her dreams have come true, I don’t want the intrusion of reality tv to spoil them.

    • Scorpiosue says:

I completely respect your opinion. For me, BGM? is a refreshing, light, sweet show. I like seeing two people that can laugh, hang out and just enjoy being with each other. When I see Jill with Bobby they are either at some party or Bobby is buying her something i.e. watch, car, etc. There is nothing REAL 😉 about those two. With Bethenny and Jason I am rooting for them. The interesting thing about Bethenny is that she is so driven and hard as nails, but she really seems to get people on her side i.e. Shawn, Max, Jason’s parents. So it’s even more interesting to see Bethenny and Jill not being friends now AND it shows who is the toxic person in the relationship.

I would not mind of the show goes on. I would love to see Bethenny try to juggle her career/brand and motherhood. Maybe some of Jason’s fun friends would be a good thing. We’ll see. From the numbers Bravo is getting there is no doubt in my mind that we’ll get more of Bethenny, Jason and Cookie.

i just love to love bethany. i find myself constantly routing for her. i see in the poll she’s about in the middle with Kathy Griffin pretty far out in front. i can’t say i’m surprised about that. once i saw kathy in there, i had a feeling… i happen to like kathy myself but still voted for bethany all the way!

the “nude” scenes didn’t bother me in the least. i couldn’t help but think about kelly having a conniption over it if she even watches. part of me says she does because she’s obsessed and another part tells me she’s just to jealous to allow herself to do so. we all know hypocritical kelly, even though she was in Playboy she will still find a way to criticize bethany. ugh

jason and bethany are so great together. it was funny to watch the previous season reruns of RH0NY where jill is telling bethany she can’t have it all, not at once anyway. i’m just wallowing in glory knowing how wrong jill was – simply for the fact that well, she was wrong, and also ’cause i’m so damn happy for bethany, jason and now little bryn. she has a great mommy and daddy. did i say how happy i am for bethany?

and a shout out to kats2 for not falling for the stereotype of New Jersey trash. i’m a lifelong resident and it’s a shame that think Jersey is garbage. i live in nw NJ on a lake in the mountains and it’s gorgeous here. the only problem is it’s so gosh darned expensive. well not the only problem – we also have shows like Jersey Shore and RHoNJ which only serves to solidify what so many think of Jersey. makes me mad and sad.

    • Laura aka Just done says:

dsc60 – I feel the same way. I hate that the stereotype NJ gets is from these women. I live in a quaint town, very family-oriented yet still upper-middle class. The women in my town never act as these women do, and it is so disturbing to be that some people across the country can think that this is what all of NJ is like.

Sorry, had to let that out.

Anyway, I will try once more, if it doesn’t work, check it out on Bravo.

Or Palmer/Samples, Gwen, Jill, and a few others posting bullshit non stop that they are making up out of thin air. They also are posting that Jason is gay and has already left Bethenny.

    Disturbed people.

Jill was blasted, FOR THINGS SHE ACTUALLY DID, not some made up, nasty, and false crap to just spread rumors. Oh, and Bethenny is mean to her parents and lied about her rotten childhood too, because THEY KNOW, and kids with money have a perfect childhood. Forget the fact that the step dad confirmed that the police were often at the house and little Bethenny was often the one to call them, even though she wasn’t even in kindergarten the first time she had to.

    • Need a Hobby says:

Jill, I might add, was blasted for things she actually did and what she herself subsequently publicly admitted to. She and her minions can try to walk back from her actions and what she admitted to, but the facts remain.

    • Maxine49 says:

Also, Bethenny did NOT grow up with money. She has spojen about the feast or famine ways of her upbringing. Sometimes there was little or no food and they ate off a card table. Other times she had $100 bills to spend. She had nothing close to a well to do or secure upbringing…far from it.

      • error404 says:

Bethenny did grow up with money.

Horse racing is like gambling in some ways, so if you’re not good with money, (i.e. saving the wins to cover the losses) there will be some rollercoastering.

Add to that actual gambling and alcoholism, and you have a recipe for feast or famine.

But eating off card tables in your mansion after the creditors have repossessed the furniture is not growing up poor.

  52. Quincy IL says:

I am a compulsive saver and make a budget for the year, unlike Teresa Guidice.
I have been wondering how much it costs to live the Jill lifestyle since she seems to be spending and never working.

This 2009 article mentions some costs and I thought there were interesting for the rest of us to see.

1.5 million dollar apartment/condo 8,000 per month mortgage
    8,000 condo building fees

total 192,000 dollars per year for housing

Hampton home 4 million mortgage 240,000 dollars per year (no mention of electricity/taxes)

Driver/body guard a la the guy with Jill… 75,000 to 150,000 The higher amount for policemen who carry guns

Garage 700 dollars per month That’s a whopping 8,400 for Jill to park that birthday present.

Personal trainer 80 dollars per hour. Jill has gone to 8 sessions so far without missing one… Good girl… 12,000 per year

1 dress for the opening of the Met or a Charity event 10,000 to 15,000 dollars…
3 dresses per year ( I think she might buy more than this) 35,000 dollars

Tutoring for Ally 100 dollars an hour
SAT tutoring 250 dollars an hour
Private school 64,000 dollars per year

Groceries… Jill orders them to be delivered in the Hamptons… guestimate 425 dollars every 10 days..

Without the hair dressers, make up artists, personal assistants, vets who come to the house, lunches with the girls, vacations and jewelry purchases: my extremely conservative estimate is 700,000 dollars a year.

No wonder Kelly and Sonja worry about the post child support days now. It’s not cheap to live in NYC.

  53. Snarkella says:

Wow. I just read the comments on Teresa’s blog at Bravo and most are still fawning over her. What am I missing?

    • Quincy IL says:

I really don’t understand that reaction either. They must not be creditors.

      • Squirrels says:

hahaha…. Creditors’ comments are being filtered for sure. lol

Seems to me, Bravo is going out of it’s way to protect the franchise. Remember, not everyone is a savvy as our in-house detectives.

  54. clevelandgirl says:

I absolutely agree with all of the posters who feel the Bravo is exploiting women who may be mentally unstable (Kelly and Danielle). Further, I also am joining the group to boycott the DC Housewives show. I cannot support a show that encourages criminal behavior in these two nitwits.

I have watched all of the seasons of all of the HW shows—I will finish this season of NJ, but am done watching this franchise (except for BGM). I cannot justify wasting anymore of my time watching these classless, fake women.

    • Quincy IL says:

I will watch the DC show. I watch people. Who knows, I may skip it like I do Atlanta and most of OC. I think the only reason I watched NJ is that I was reading comments here.

      • I’m right there with you Cleavland. I wish I could remember exactly which blog of Lynn’s talked about the misogynist attitude that’s been creeping into the entire franchise, because I’d like to read it again & again.
I don’t know if I can blame Andy, for it or not. Yes, I guess he has executive powers at Bravo, but I’m not sure what his role is.-Its always hard for me to tell what he’s thinking because he has a pretty good poker face.
I’m also starting to wonder about Shed Media, the production company. I know they are based out of the UK, and I’m starting to wonder if they have something against the USA in general? Or if its a cultural thing?

        • Maxine49 says:

Shed Media US produces the RHONY. Shed Media PLC in the UK is the parent company. Nick Emmerson and Jennifer O’Connell are the Executive Producers of RHONY. Mark Blatty is the Vice President of Production overseeing RHONY.

Sirens Media, completely unrelated to Shed Media, produces RHONJ. Two women from California own and run the company.

        • WindyCityWondering says:

Here’s a question – if RHONJ is getting off the chart rating numbers who is voting? So some of the blame for lame programming has to be assigned to those who actually vote….who is voting for this garbage???? Do you think men are doing the voting?

    • Squirrels says:

I’m being militant here, but I believe Bravo exploits all the women, not just Kelly and Danielle. I can see Andy now at the gates of Heaven, trying desperately to get in. St. Peter shows up wearing a “What Would Jesus Do” Tee shirt. Dohhhhhhh…..

Over the past three years she’s been to so many doctors at MA General and the Lahey and four different neurologists. She’s been thru more tests than any human should. Hey all!
Don’t know if this has been posted by a legal smartie already…but I consulted an informed legal opinion…ahem….lawyer on this matter.
The paperwork filed today was filed by the attorney appointed to the trust of the Guidices for the purpose of their bankruptcy. Basically, he alleges that he did the math, ran the numbers, went through assets and such….and they LIED! He is claiming that they did not disclose income and were not truthful regarding assets and income. The income not disclosed is from her book, a laundromat, and a pizza place. Those 3 assets are the only assets that actually make profit and bring in income, and they disclosed it from the bankruptcy court. Basically, the unsecured assets will be liquidated and used to pay off creditors. These assets actually operate in the black, bringing them income, and THEY TRIED TO HIDE IT. Or, they just forgot…..yeah right….So, basically, the only money the Guidices have to pay their creditors, they FORGOT or purposely hid, take your choice Teresa (either way you’re still an asshole) to keep for themselves.
Um yeah….too bad you were not smart enough to avoid the court appointed lawyer….

    • cusi77 says:

I have a question… To lie under oath is a crime, isn’t it? What are the consequences?

      • Maxine49 says:

There will be consequences for the Giudices….and they are already in the works. The bankruptcy trustee has filed a motion to have the Giudice’s bankruptcy dismissed due to fraud upon the bankruptcy court. What that means is that if the motion is granted, the Giudices will NOT be able to avail themselves of bankruptcy protection and they will lose everything they own—everything. All the judgments upon them will be enforced–which means the judgment holder can hire a sheriff to enforce the judgment by seizing personal property of the Giudice’s. The banks will be foreclosing on all the real property. They will be completely ruined…so there are definitely consequences. The problem for the creditors is that there will not be enough personal property to seize to satisfy all the creditor claims….and the first ones to seize it will take it all. So whomever does not yet have a judgment against them at this juncture is probably out of luck with their claims.

Yes, perjury can land someone in jail. In the Giudice’s case, it’s not likely, though. As Maxine points out, the withholding of certain information from the bankruptcy court is likely going to lead to their bankruptcy being dismissed for fraud, and that could be considered sufficient ‘punishment’.

The judge CAN cite them for contempt of court based on the perjury, which may result in a fine and/or jail time, but that remains to be seen, and it depends on the judge. That he can doesn’t mean he will.

    • Maxine49 says:

I think you meant to say that “they withheld it from the bankruptcy court.” This has been all over the news for the last two days—from the Wall Street Journal to the tabloids and discussed Lynn’s blog yesterday. And yes, there are “ahem” lawyers who post here.

      • sugarmagnolia10 says:

I didn’t mean to offend you…I just didn’t want the attorney I spoke to be accused of giving any kind of legal advice if someone got their knickers in a knot about what I posted. It’s very obvious you know of what you speak. I didn’t have time to read all 400 posts to see if someone else had already given the info.
Yes, it has been all over the news, but I have yet to see someone break down the court documents into laymans terms, which is all I was trying to do. Not all of us went to law school, so I personally, found it helpful to have it explained to me.

        GEEZE…..

      • sugarmagnolia10 says:

again, I am not a lawyer. And I think for all intents and purposes of this forum, and not a courtroom, my verbiage was probably sufficient to most.

    • Kokuanani says:

Those 3 assets are the only assets that actually make profit and bring in income, and they disclosed it from the bankruptcy court.

Don’t you mean “hid from ” or “failed to disclose to” the bankruptcy court?

What mortifies me is that these two irresponsible Giudices have 4 DAUGHTERS… Who the heavens does that?

  64. Adgirl says:

We were victimized by swindlers like the Guidice’s. It would shock you to learn where they lived and their line of work. Turns out this is a lifestyle of theirs – grifting – and you guessed it – their adult child is now doing the same to others.
They were great at hiding this from their friends and city officials who recommended them.

Never a borrower or a lender be!

Error–I left a comment on your Beekman blog. Everytime I click submit, a message comes up telling me “wrong code” so I kept trying. I just went back to try again an my post went up 4 times. Sorry.

I think even better than the bankruptcy is that the one article that says the IRS is also now investigating the Guidices. Now THAT would scare me ! They brought down Capone so hopefully they will do the same with these crooks.

    • Quincy IL says:

I would like the IRS to look at other housewives. How do they live so well without money? If a company gives you desiger clothes do you have to pay taxes on those items? If a company throws a party for you in Atlanta is that a gift to you and taxable?

Did Jill tell the IRS about her gifts?

      • twoile says:

I would expect that these expensive “gifts” r taxable just the same as winnings.

      • Squirrels says:

I think the majority of the high ticket clothing is on loan. Once you are photographed in it, you can’t possibly wear it again. Perish the thought.

      • Jules says:

I would think these gifts would have to be claimed. I won a contest where I worked, and got a really nice gas grill. I had to report the value of the grill on my taxes, so I don’t know why you wouldn’t have to report expensive gifts, like Jills $16,000 purse.

        • Rabble Rouser says:

It’s my understanding that gifts above a certain amount do need to be reported. I am pretty sure I remember hearing Oprah Winfrey talking about it and that when she gives expensive gifts- she lets the recipient know that she also paid the tax on it.

You know, a lot of people hit on hard times. I just don’t know why Teresa wants to keep up this facade. Her things are being auctioned off for heaven’s sake. Just admit you are financially messed up. It is the pretending that gets on my nerves and makes me mad! She acts like everyone else is crazy and can’t read everything that is going on. She wants to keep up this image for the sake of what? Let it go!

    • boston02127 says:

I think Teresa is such a materialistic person that losing her worldly possessions is probably worse than a death for her. I agree with you HD, if she’d just be honest it would be a lot easier for her.

      • HD says:

I agree with you, Boston. This is probably worse than death to her but it is trying to keep up this image that got her into this situation. Who really needs a house like that when you husband works in construction? Who needs that type of furniture if you really can’t afford it? Who needs to all those clothes for her daughters? Who needs that type of birthday party? All that money she spent she has a MANSION she could have done that at her own house.

I wonder how she was raised because she is doing this for a reason and I am certain she is breaking her neck to stay in that house instead of admit they can’t afford it and move. She is more concerned about being embarassed then the well being of her family. Which is so disgusting to me. If you can’t afford something you can’t afford it. We all understand that and we all understand, especially in this economy, that many people have to cut back/downsize. I wish she would just stop pretending!

      • Quincy IL says:

Boston, I have my heart set on owning Teresa’s bean bag chair.
I would love to be there when the items are auctioned.

    • twoile says:

That tricky river in Egypt d’nile!

    • Jules says:

I don’t think this is a matter of hitting upon hardtimes. Yeah, I have had hard times, but I would sure see them coming before I was 11 million dollars in debt. Plus, it is clear that after they filed for bankruptcy Teresa was still out spending like crazy. I find this unbelievable, much like I found it hard to understand how Lynn from RHOOC went on vacation right after they got evicted. This type of behavior is irresponsible, and shameless, and elicits no sympathy from me.

I read somewhere with someone stating Bethenny was “using the paparazzi”. My feeling on this is as follows: When she walked up to them on her wedding day with the roller in her hair, I think she just feels if she talks with them, they won’t “stalk” her as much. I think she is very kind, but does set limits. I think that’s a very smart way to handle the situation.
With regard to her pregnancy photos, my daughter is a photographer and does a lot of those. I was anot offended at all…just jealous that I didn’t have that body when I was preggers. LOL Also, the jump in the pool naked…they were on their honeymoon. In some ways Bethenny seemed to withhold her intimate feelings (until Jason) and I say she deserves it. I like that she is comfortable in her body. I wish more of us women felt that way – not saying we should all go naked and jump in pools, but to feel free with our significant other, especially when in a place such as they were. I think it’s refreshing.
I also read, I think it was that Ilana person (never heard of her before I saw someone post something about her), about Bethenny working on the baby’s room without Jason. I think Jason knows that Bethenny likes things just “so-so” and he is okay with that, although he does like to get involved with some of it. She knew she had to get working on the baby’s room and was doing it. I don’t see why people need to judge her for when, how, why, where she does everything.
I cried when she was on the beach watching Jason windsurf and watching the little girls. That was such an intimate side of Bethenny. I think most of us moms have felt that, and it sure brought back memories of me being pregnant with my kids. How special it was. Jason rocked out as a husband. I would have to say, he needs to give some lessons!!! They do really fit together nicely and complement each other’s personalities. They are a pleasure to watch. I don’t feel stressed out when watching BGM?….I only feel good.
