I Hate Jill Zarin Real Housewives of New Jersey August 3, 2010
Before I get into the episode I want to explain the Twitter fiasco of Sunday night with Dina Manzo. Unfortunately Dina Manzo has a habit of deleting her tweets and I did not copy them because I was under the impression that someone had gotten the screen shots but in the end, they did not.
Twitter recently did an upgrade and has removed the ability to view deleted tweets. This means that you’ll have to take my word for what happened but I have no reason to lie to anyone, particularly since I haven’t mentioned Dina much, don’t care for her but don’t care to bash her either, in my opinion she added nothing to the show so it meant nothing when she left.
Quickly let me explain that Dina has already blocked me, several months ago we were all watching Dancing With The Stars and tweeting about the show. Dina was doing the same, she must have been in one of her “moods” because she started to really attack the people on the show. She said that Neicy Nash had “back fat” and that Brooke Burke had “cellulite”. Pretty rude stuff and it continued. Fans didn’t seem to know what to make of this new mean Dina. Then a few of us, me included, called Dina out on this nonsense. Telling her to calm down and back off of these people. She then snarked back at all of us, deleted all of her nasty comments and promptly blocked us.
So Sunday night I was just tweeting away like I usually do when I have some free time to be on Twitter and an acquaintance on Twitter @bravo_maria was having a giggle and talking about Dina Manzo’s husband Tommy. First she said that she heard a rumor about him but wasn’t going to tell us, naturally people started to guess until she finally told us that she had heard that Tommy was gay. This wasn’t the first time I had heard that rumor but many people tweeted their opinions, me included.
Who knew that Dina was on line and reading all of the tweets with the rumors about Tommy being gay? Dina went ballistic! She went after @Bravo_Maria first and was snarking about how she and Tommy try on all of her clothes together and Tommy runs around the house dressed like a woman. (We didn’t say anything about cross-dressing that was all Dina)
Of course, as Twitter goes, @bravo_maria and a few others ran with the cross-dressing and I was stuck in DM’s at the time with a gay guy who was extremely offended by Dina’s tweet saying that gay doesn’t necessarily mean cross-dressing. Of course, I agreed.
The next thing I see is @bravo_Maria retweeted one of Dina’s tweets and it said, in essence that Maria and her “busted friend LYNN-N-CHICAGO could go to hell”. I don’t know what Dina meant by “busted” but I of course responded that I wasn’t as “busted” as her friend Teresa. Dina immediately began to delete some of her ranting tweets and I had to call her out on that as well. I brought up the Niecy Nash and Brooke Burke tweets that she deleted and she started to argue with me about that. Dina said that she was just joking about that and it was all in fun. I did remind her that she deleted those tweets so they couldn’t be too much fun. At some point Dina also called me an “ASS”.
It’s pretty frustrating because I certainly would have copied Dina’s tweets if I hadn’t been told that someone got screen shots. Additionally many people re-tweeted them and that used to be enough to have a record of them. Twitter fixed that “problem” ensuring that if a tweet is deleted, the retweets are gone too.
I have not deleted anything so you’re welcome to look at my tweets. I’ve been told by one person that I was “excessive” and maybe I was, but in my defense everyone kept asking me what happened and I kept repeating it to everyone who asked, not wanting to be rude and ignore people.

This led to me responding directly to Dina and a few others chimed in..

Dina also talked about people being 2-faced in her tweets, there were people during the argument talking to her (nicely) and also with myself and with @bravo_maria. Apparently Dina does subscribe to the New Jersey Housewives rule of not being friends with anyone who is friends with your enemy. I’d be interested to know how many total people Dina blocked on Sunday night.
Anyway, there are still remnants of the argument / Twitter war on line we just haven’t been able to bring you Dina’s tweets, she called me “busted” and an “ass” and she defended her bashing of DWTS Celebrities. Then you all saw her justification, we needed to be put in our place..LMAO!
Next time if anything like this happens, I will be sure to get the evidence myself!
On a side note, Jacqueline also lost her temper with a fan just a few hours before that, I wasn’t on line but the good news is that Jac didn’t delete her tweet:

On to the Episode….
Was it just me, or was Juicy Joe a little stressed during this episode? Bahhaha! Clearly this must have been during the time where he was shouldering the burden of the couple’s financial hardships alone and not sharing with his wife. Although he dropped plenty of hints, apparently Teresa wasn’t catching on and was sure to order the woman dressed as Marie Antoinette to stand there for hours in the middle of a table full of food and fanning herself. What the hell was that about? I notice that Juicy Joe did call Chris Manzo back and cut the ice sculptures down to one rather than two, Juicy Joe won that little battle.
I don’t think that I’d be going too far out on a limb here if I said that Juicy Joe isn’t really “feeling” his wife right now. His refusing to kiss her as they made their way to their Anniversary antics, coupled with his snapping at her all during last night’s episode sort of closes the deal on that one. Are the rumors of Joe’s cheating true? Does he not need the affection and lovin from his wife? We know that he has something up his nose and the flash of a camera hurts his eyes.
It is obvious that Joe isn’t a fan of all of the hoopla surrounding these lavish parties that Teresa likes to throw. I think my favorite part of the episode was the end of the Giudice’s tacky party, the exchange between Teresa and her husband when she tries to kiss him and he shoves a glass of wine down her throat then says, “good night”. She asks if he’s leaving and he says, “yup, I’m going home, I don’t want to see the bill”. Priceless!
Yes, I skipped right over the part where Dina made her re-appearance. Way to leave the show then return Dina! Was she even gone? I hadn’t noticed! As usual, she added absolutely nothing to the show. Her sappy interviews and sappy toast at the Christening party were dull, dull, dull!
Surprisingly Teresa’s children all behaved well, you just know if they didn’t, Bravo would have been all over it, luckily we got to see the previews for next week where at least one of Teresa’s girls have a meltdown.
Danielle took Christine to her first OB appointment, pretty uncomfortable and maybe the waiting room of the doctor’s office is not the best place to have that sex talk with your 16-year old, here’s hoping other conversations have taken place before and after this scene with the doctor.
I absolutely, positively think that Bravo is seriously considering adding Kim G. as the next New Jersey Housewife. We saw her home, including the exterior twice during this episode and she was certainly one of the superstars of this episode. First Kim’s attempt to get Chris Manzo to set up a lunch for her with his mother was just really stupid! If Caroline Manzo says no to lunch once, why would she change her mind? Nothing has changed, Kim continued to be friends with Danielle and that was the deal breaker. No lunch for you Kim G! (In the soup nazi’s voice)
Back to Kim G’s house and Danielle arrives to talk about her newest plan. Danielle wants to begin a search for her birth mother. I can see that, however, that can be an expensive process. Kim G offers to help Danielle to find her mother saying, “I know a guy”. Danielle was overly appreciative for a simple phone call, unless of course Kim G also offered to pay for the services of “a guy”.
Cut to Kim G barging in on Jacqueline who is holding her little baby. (Can we talk about how Jac dresses that little guy?) Kim pushes her way in swearing like a drunken sailor and bitching about Danielle. Apparently there was an email that had gone from Danielle to one of Kim’s other friends. The email tells this mystery person that she should not be friends with Kim G. Jacqueline correctly identifies this behavior as Jr. High School stuff! It seems that in Jersey, what goes around comes around.
For Kim’s grand finale we find her waiting in a restaurant for her former BFF Danielle. Kim is outted as being friends with the enemy camp and spreading Danielle’s news all over town that she’s looking for her birth mother. Kim G is NOT apologetic at all, in fact she feels she is well within her rights to be friends with anyone she wants to and to say anything she wants to. For my money, Kim is not a very good friend to Danielle. In a new plot twist, Danielle is the calm, adult and tries to walk out of the restaurant without making a scene.
Kim G was not having any of it, a scene was going to be made one way or another. Throwing a napkin at Danielle didn’t even get her riled up, she had to think of something quickly or her gig on the RHONJ may be in jeopardy! So Kim promptly follows Danielle screaming out of the restaurant and even as Danielle is driven away by her little convict, Kim continues to scream at Danielle. Definitely footage for the highlight reels.
And so in the end, Kim G has done all she can to kick up the crap, create the drama and her audition for the newest housewife may be in the can. Danielle is done with her, Caroline won’t have lunch with her and I don’t think Teresa will give her the time of day. Kim’s only shot to be back in front of the cameras is Jacqueline. Watch what happens, as they say.
Some of the ladies blogs are up on Bravotv.com, let’s start with Dina Manzo. Yes, she felt the need, with her mediocre part in tonight’s episode to prepare a full three page blog expressing her disgust that the Christening had to share the screen with Kim and Danielle. Sorry Dina, not the entire episode could be you standing as Godmother to Teresa’s baby. There are other cast members to deal with. Dina was sure to reprimand us all in advance if we even mentioned the fact that her husband and daughter were not shown at the Christening. Dina assures us that they were both there but not on camera. OK Dina, we believe you, calm down!
Danielle also chose the three page format but only the first page is even relevant. It is so strange that Danielle is now making more sense than some of the other housewives, isn’t it? She was right when, in her blog, she stated that Kim used her to become relevant on the show. Kim is clearly trying to secure a housewife position. Danielle was a good place to start. I don’t believe for one moment that Kim gave a damn about Danielle. Danielle was also right when she talked about Jacqueline’s involvement with Kim G and was clearly allowing Kim G to use Danielle to spend time with Jacqueline. Kim and Jacqueline have nothing in common yet Kim continued to force herself on Jac, but Jac allowed it. Everyone could see that Kim’s only goal was a place on the show. Jacqueline even talked Teresa into inviting Kim to her housewarming party. Jacqueline is not innocent in this whole thing. The excuse that she gives people chances is no longer holding water. The second half of Danielle’s blog is plugging her wares and thanking people that we don’t know. Yawn!
Caroline’s blog was short and sweet, about a page and a half and painless to read. I must completely agree with Caroline about having lunch with Kim G, there was really no point and nothing to gain. Caroline is living proof that you can film a reality show with another housewife without ever seeing that other housewife. Caroline and Danielle have not yet been in the same room together all season, so remind me again, why did Dina leave the show? Things that make you go hmmmmmmmm…..
Finally, we have Alex McCord guest blogging from NY. Alex is usually a great read but even after watching the episode and knowing all of the players, Alex’s blog confused the hell out of me. Part of it is written like, “if this person did this to someone and someone in Texas heard about it…” huh? Since we all know the players and their names, why not just write, “Kim was talking about Danielle’s personal affairs to someone in the salon…”? In the end I think we all agree that Kim should have kept her big mouth shut about Danielle’s personal issues.
More importantly Alex says that she has big news for us later in the week, I hope it is something good and not just another personal appearance. I guess we’ll see when she makes the announcement.
Those are the only blogs that are up as of now, I cannot imagine that Trashley has a whole lot to say about this episode, let’s hope she skips the blog this week. I’m sure Jacqueline is working on another chapter in her book and we’ll see it later today or later this week.

The last minute additional tweet above is hopefully Jacqueline learning that you cannot call people pedophiles without any evidence or proof. The best part of this episode is we saw Ashley for only seconds and not one word came out of her mouth!
Big mouth Trashly tweeted constantly during the episode, she said nothing relevant, not that she ever does.

I am trying to understand twitter. Most of the time I don’t follow well and have no idea if anyone sees my tweets or if anyone is tweeting me back. I can’t understand jumping into a coversation like Dina did and attacking. How excatly did she expect that to turn out. She knows who you are. She knows you have a popular blog. Did she really think you would just take her admonsihment and not say anything back. Twitter must bring out the crazy in some.
I don’t know twitter speak either, but people like, Lynn, are good at it because they are pithy. I would hate the feedback and I prefer to be here with Lynn watching over me.

I only joined because everyone told me to tweet my chops to the subjects. I don’t think most of them care, if they ever see them. I always avoided it since it looked like such a hit and run messaging service. But watching others reach out to someone in need yesterday made me think better of it.
That was kind of them to make an effort to find the woman.
I am not a telephone person. I get on, tend to business, and get off. I don’t like chat rooms. I do enjoy my breaks during the day reading the posts here. I really don’t read other blogs and never read Bravo boards.

Lynn – LOVE the blog – as always, but one minor point. I’m pretty sure I remember seeing two ice sculptures. One was a cross and the other had what I thought was the date of the baptism and the name of the child. Not positive, but pretty sure.

There were two ice sculptures that I noticed; one a cross another an angel. I always notice the details of rooms; like when Dina & Teresa came down the stairs, how the wood trim from the upper floor had extended about a foot past the crown molding on to the wall…weird; lol, whats wrong with me?

This was an interesting blog. My husband has never worn my clothes. Man I wish you had those screen shots. You could have sent that into a gossip magazine or something. I could see the headline now, “Real Housewives Husband a Crossdresser” LOL!

WHERE’S DANIELLE?
Is she putting the words onto Dina’s screen about her husband’s cross-dressing proclivities?
Is she calling anyone a “pedifile”?
Did she spend 11M of Theresa’s money?
Did she forge Juicy Joe’s partner’s signature?
Did she flip a table?
Is she throwing napkins at people in a restaurant?
Is she chasing anyone through a country club?
Is she pulling out clumps of hair? (Oh so sorry Ashley, I mean extensions, so technically it wasn’t her hair.)
I just find it rather convenient that Dina cites Danielle “negativity” for the reason she left the show. Just as convenient as when Caroline tearfully said, “she knows what she did!” at the reunion.
If this family “knows” about Danielle’s negativity and “what she did”, well my goodness, why aren’t they tweeting about that instead of back fat and cellulite?

And it’s bullshit that Dina left the show because Danielle contacted Dina’s ex husband to tell him how his name was forged to the Bravo consent form to allow Lexi on the show.
So Dina puts Danielle in her place by… leaving the show? The fabulous platform for the Ladybug charity?
As Danielle herself would say puh-leeze that’s efuckingnuff!
Those are some excellent points you brought up. I’m no fan of any of them but thought Danielle behaved extremely well while Kim G acted like an utter ass. Go figure…
I would have loved to hear Kim G list all the $$$ and stuff she did for Danielle – didn’t buy Danielle’s I don’t know what you are talking about retort! That is why she left so quickly – Kim was ready to spill the beans.
Danielle seems like a big talker, When the going gets tough she runs!
They all are. Wasn’t Dina’s tag line, “if you think I’m a bitch then bring it”. Then she ran away from the series.
Or maybe the Manzos don’t want to repeat what Danielle said or did, because there was underlying truth to everything she said about them or did (in response to something they did to her)? And putting it out there gives it some credence and clarity that they do not want everyone to know……Kind of like if you don’t menttion it, it never happened.

I also caught some of the craziness- to be honest I had a hard time following it going from one person’s twitter account to another. But I did see Dina’s tweet where she claim the ‘back fat’ thing was a joke- and I am pretty sure I saw her call Lynn an ass- and about a zillion tweets where people were shell shocked from it.
So, somewhere in the crowd scene of the Christening is Dina Manzo’s husband dressed as a woman. I will have to watch again and look for a middle aged, heavy set woman, dressed in one of Dina’s outfits and showing off a 5 o clock shadow.
LOL! Maybe he and Dina can do Ru Paul’s Drag U!

I was really uncomfortable watching the interaction (or lack of interaction) between Joe and Teresa. I was hoping he could restrain himself from belting her in the mouth right on camera, because I really didn’t want to see that. Teresa is one thick-headed woman stuck up her own butt. How could she be so insensitive to the vibes her husband was giving off? I usually know what my husband is going to think before he even thinks it. Teresa spent the whole episode spending, spending, overspending, planning a bunch of super-tacky “Italian” nonsense and acting completely oblivious to the people around her that she supposedly loves. What the hell Teresa? How ignorant and self-centered are you? Why don’t you try just loving your husband and family instead of putting all your energy into being a show-off? It just disgusts me to see a grown woman behaving so stupidly.
It’s Nene and her hubby all over again. He’s broke and stressing over it, and she thinks Bravo is their ticket out. The HWs need to splash the cash or lose the ______ (what do the Jersey girls hold? A highway exit?). How many housewives has Andy beckoned towards the rocks like a svitzing siren?

Although…Joe should have just said no. No the big party, no to the overspending, no to all of it. If he had stopped enabling Theresa (and I guess he really doesn’t have much choice these days) at some point, she probably could have curbed her overspending a long time ago.
After all, she’s “from Patterson, girlfriend”. She cleans her own house, takes care of her own kids, makes her own gravy – self sufficiency shouldn’t be completely alien to her, even if she can’t spell it.
Before leaving for the christening, Joe was sitting at the kitchen table, having coffee. Did you notice the open bottle of Johnny Walker Black? He was in a foul mood…do you think he had a few to get through the day? Wouldn’t blame him if he did. Teresa’s enough to drive anyone bat-shit crazy..

Joe said he took the check book away from Teresa and she didn’t deny it. She said “I use to write the big checks and you (Joe) would never see it, now-you (Joe) know how much I spend.”
Joe also told Chris, right in front of Teresa, to NOT listen to her. He said to make the party nice-without making it nice. In other words, do whatever it takes to have a nice party as cheap as you can.
Teresa can’t use the excuse she didn’t know about their finances when the last 4 or so episodes she’s been complaining that the bad economy had hit them. She even said some investments were in her name-some were good, and some were not!… SHE KNEW!
Still-Teresa went over the top spending on her baby’s wedding, um I mean christening and their going to Italy next episode… Even if Bravo pays for the trip-surely it still had to cost them some money they didn’t have.
Teresa and Joe filed for bankruptcy protection then proceeded to spend like millionaires… I don’t understand how Teresa has spent all this money on both seasons with only a 79,000 yearly income? Why would relatives GIVE/DONATE over a 100,000 a year for them to have lavish parties, build a house they couldn’t afford. Over-spend on a baby’s christening, go to Italy-shopping sprees for clothes, anniversary helicopter ride, ring and over-night Hotel stay, and Teresa having breast implants. Something stinks to high heavens here!
No wonder Joe gets a DUI… that also, I’m sure, cost a pretty penny to get out of!

Here is how I think in Teresa’s head (I know a scary place to be) that she justified the party and convinced Joe to have it and even why she fashioned the event like a Italian “wedding” :
I would bet that Teresa thought they would COLLECT huge monetary baby gifts at the event – and thus pay for it – plus make a few bucks on the side. Seriously.
Picture in your mind: that wedding scene in “Goodfellas” with new bride, Lorraine Bracco, and husband, Ray Liotta (Henry Hill), collecting those massively thick envelopes full of wads of cash from each and every guest. Nobody wrote checks! CASH only in that crowd, baby!

NY,NJ & CT, us tristaters give big bucks at weddings, christenings, Bar-Mitzvahs. graduations, etc. I was shocked when I moved to TX about 15 years ago to learn that they give wedding gifts of $25…don’t know if that’s still the case. In NY its usually $250 on up for a wedding gift.
As far as I was taught, you give at least enough to cover the cost of your plate, which at most large weddings is about $100.00+ then extra for the gift portion. As you mentioned, I typically give about $250.00 for hubby and myself.
If I am in the wedding party, I give much more.
That is true in Illinois too. You make sure to cover the cost of the dinner and drinks and a tad more.
Absolutely. Cash gifts are the norm here. I almost never see wrapped presents at weddings. However, at engagement parties there could be housewares and of course at bridal showers there are 99 percent household gifts.
Here in the Midwest, it’s $25 for a couple or $50 for a family of 4.
I just wanted to bring this over from the last blog… I am doing some additional research and to really “see” some things trying using Google Maps and enter in the names of the various LLCs listed in the Bankruptcy filings.
1576 Maple Avenue Associates LLC is the property of Joe. They have it listed on their filings as both debts and current businesses. What I believe they are trying to claim is the Pizza shop itself belongs to Joe’s parents. It is not uncommon for the property to be held by one entity and the operating of the business to be held by another.
In this case though the motive is what the courts will question. In my opinion it looks like they did all of the construction, renovation, and furnishing of the place under the LLC, then the business itself would pay “rent” to the LLC. This rent I am sure is WAY below market value to 1) keep the expenses down on the Pizza business AND 2) keep revenue down on the LLC for both repayment of debt (as they don’t on paying it) and tax purposes. Better yet, the lease may be designed to give the LLC a % of net revenue as rent. This would allow Joe to cook the books or adjust his “salary” accordingly so the business shows a very small “net” profit. If they were smart this is how the operating lease would be written. In many cases this is a very legitimate way of doing business, but it doesn’t appear so in this case. Issues arise when evaluating “market value” of rents and if there is clearly an attempt of “deception” through the use of related parties posing as two separate entities. It will be interesting how this property and the business alone are scrutinized.

The problem with many of the women of the series is they have nothing going on in their lives. Most don’t have jobs and they are bored with their husbands and kids. Jill Zarin looks pretty miserable on the yacht tweeting about missing her dog while Bobby is getting a sunburn at the helm.

I don’t follow these HW losers but at times I will check out their tweets and I’ve seen enough to know that the lack of class we see on the show each week is no act. The NJ HW’s are truly messed up and are playing a very dangerous twitter game with complete strangers. It’s sick, they should know better and someone is going to get hurt.
Poor Dina – she left the show and is as sad now as she ever was while on the show – her tweets prove she misses the drama and just like all the other NJ HW’s Dina has no idea of how to move on and get a life.
Some random thoughts I had as I watched this episode –
I wonder if Dina is going to visit the Giudice Garage sale on August 22nd to buy back her family heirloom (the fancy baby carriage) she gave Teresa as part of her gift to Audriana.
I read somewhere that you don’t have to travel to Jersey on the 22nd to buy a piece of the Giudice family, that the items for sale will be available on-line. So if you always wanted Gucci baby shoes or need pretty girl Christening gowns and party dresses here’s your chance to get them at bargain basement prices.
Caroline didn’t need to tell me that the “Décor” was all Dina putting her designer touch on the Christening Party at the Brownstone – I can spot tacky bedazzled crap from a mile away.
Jacqueline’s comment during the first dance with the baby – “Reminded me how quick babies grow” Yes Jacqueline from babies to jail cells – time sure does fly!
I wonder how many pizzas you have to sell to make a dent in paying off $11 million.

Kim G, was ever so lucky that Danielle was obviously ON her meds at the time of the meeting. How dare that rancid ancient meddling bitch go postal on Danielle as if she were the injured party?
With advanced knowledge and strategy, any battle can be won. Poor Danielle can’t catch a break. She alerts others to Kim G’s penchant for betrayal, only to be betrayed yet again. Kim G, now forewarned, is so ready to battle Danielle. Danielle, assuming Kim G was going to backpeddle and apologize was taken aback by her careless disregard and venon. Danielle finally realized that woman had used her to secure air time on the show, all the while cavorting with her enemies, telling her plans, fears and secrets. She had offered her access to her driver, ran errands, and purchased gifts all to become her friend. Meanwhile that tattered old whore (KIM G), lol, was salivating, hanging around the Manzo Mob, trying to get in. Begging for Caroline’s favor, listening to Jac’s stupidity and sucking up to Theresa a bankrupt whore, doing anything for more time on tv. The insults that she hurled at Danielle, could have easily been thrown at her. She’s an old bitch, she’s jealous, she’s untrustworthy etc. Danielle, by walking away, once again showed not that she uses people and they get mad, but that people use her and once she catches them, they go on the offense and attack her.

Call me crazy, but I enjoy watching Kim G. The cast was stale. Jacqueline is Boring w/a capital B & Danielle disturbing & Teresa annoying. The subplots of the extended families who cares? & Caroline keeps wisely away from the drama giving us no reason to watch her. At least both Kim’s are semi-interesting. Hope they are added to the cast.
I agree totally, Amber. That Kim “freaking” G. is a digusting human-being. Both Kim’s used Danielle to get on the show-then back-stabbed her to get in with “The Crowd”.
What Kim D. did was just as bad. Danielle thought they were friends, not knowing that K-D was friends with Teresa and Jacqueline behind her back. When Danielle found out K-D invited Teresa and Jacqueline to her Fashion Show, Danielle backed out of going. Kim D. called and BEGGED her to attend, saying they would have fun and NOTHING bad would happen to Danielle. Danielle thought by going she was repairing her friendship with K-D.
Danielle was blind-sided when she showed up and guess what? There was her friend K-D sitting right next to Teresa and Jacqueline. Before Danielle’s arrival, K-D said she would say “hi” only if Danielle spoke to her first, what? I heard K-D tell Danielle she wanted her to come-she was a good customer-she deserved to be there. Then, she’s telling Teresa and Jacqueline “The Big D” might be coming. She didn’t tell them that she BEGGED her to come.
Danielle was shocked, but played it cool. Kim G. knew how betrayed Danielle felt and she was doing the same thing! I agree with Danielle, if Kim G. wanted to be friends with THEM-she should of told her so Danielle would of had the choice to not tell Kim G. any of her business. Same with the other Kim.
There is more to Caroline not wanting to be friends with Kim G. other than Danielle. Their sons have been friends a long time. Long before Danielle came into the picture, yet Caroline didn’t bother to make friends with her through the years, why?
Since Caroline said that Kim G. needs to figure out where she belongs. Like with them and NOT Danielle. We might find that Miss Caroline decides to befriend Kim G. just to spite Danielle. Caroline is not innocent in all this mess!
I agree agree agree. Both Kim’s did blindside and betray Danielle. They utilized her in order to befriend her enemies and get on the show. Both for publicity and profit (Posche). KimG was never intent on being Caroline’s friend in the past. It was only her desire to get on the show that made her want to expand their relationship. The kids were friends, the mother’s don’t need to be BFF’s. Just a courtesy hello, can the boys do this etc. KimD just wanted to get the publicity for the store from Danielle and then get the better sales from the wannabe Jac’s and Theresa. I’m sure Jersey girls ran to get those chinchilla furs for summer. lol
About that scene with Danielle and Kim G at the restaurant I think that Danielle believes that arguing with a fool makes you a fool so she just quietly got up and left. So funny that Danielle’s window was up and Kim G was still spewing words at her.
Kim G didn’t care whether or not Danielle could hear her as long as the cameras caught it. It was a show for the show. She doesn’t give 2 cents about Danielle and wouldn’t spend the energy screaming at her unless she was mic’ed. She’s an piece of garbage.
Throwing napkins and screaming profanities in a restaurant while others are trying to enjoy their meal in peace- chasing someone out of a restaurant……all of it was the most vulgar display and cry for attention that I have witnessed on a Housewife show with the exception what Ashley did.

When Teresa was trying to help Joe and out by putting that cream on his face and he said, “I swear I’m going to kick your ass” in front of her father – IF that happened in front of my Italian Dad he would politely ask Joe to go outside, there would be no yelling or fighting, but Joe would never talk that way again to his wife.
that’s not just an Italian thing…if my dad heard those words coming out of my husbands mouth….there would be no violence, but it would be addressed immediatley. But, we all know Joe and Teresa keep her parents locked up in the basement while the cameras are rolling. (only to let them out later to wax the onyx and marble. and cook. and clean. and take care of the kids. you know T doesn’t have a nanny or housekeeper!)
I have 3 kids, and a 3000 sq foot house….I clean all day, every day, and my house always feels messy! Do not tell me she cleans 10000 sq ft on her own….yeah right. I am so tired of her lies….and I’m tired of the Manzo’s glossing over them.

Yeah but now the kids of today have NO idea how to tie shoes, or at least my son doesn’t. 15 and has me tie them. Grew up with only Velcro. It’s probably a skill they don’t teach anymore in kindergarten.
There are twisted shoe laces now that hold the knots better. We use them because we have a running class and you can’t stop to retie your shoes and stay within site of the instuctor. Great invention.
Vizvilet – I thought I was the only one going through that! I loved velcro at the time, but now to get my son to keep his shoes tied (at 15) is like pulling teeth. I finally end up tying them. UGHHH

similar. After the view yesterday, I was appalled that Teresa was claiming to have no
insight into her husband’s business failures.
I then remembered the similar signatures on the bankruptcy petition. However perhaps I was giving her too much credit, believing that she would be aware of anything.
I believe it is possible that there were aspects of joe’s business that Teresa was unaware of or simply had no interest in knowing. However, I am sure she noticed when her credit cards to department stores were declined and when her phone was shut off.
The truth of the matter is that Teresa wasn’t perceptive to Joe’s passive aggressive actions or when he blatantly told her they were in financial trouble. There was no way that she would let reality impinge upon her entitlement to her fugulous lifestyle.
I do believe that Teresa would claim that her jewerlry is fake and
attempt to hide her real gems. I also think that she will battle her own ego and succumb to bragging and thus compromising her acquisitions.
When Dina addressed the rumors of Teresa’s finances she simply said there were haters out there.

Those signatures on the bankruptcy documents were not the Giudices, IMO. Most likely they gave their attorney “power of attorney” and either the attorney or his secretary signed the documents.
I couldn’t open the document your link referrenced, however, when looking through county clerk online documents in Morris and a couple of other adjoining counties, many of Teresa and Joe’s joint owned properties were signed by the same person. Usually there was a notation next to Teresa’s name.
There was also a document of Teresa giving Joe her power of attorney.
I don’t think T had a clue what was going on. As long as her credit card wasn’t decined and she had cash, she didn.t care. But she/or her proxy had signed all that stuff leaving her liable. A cautionary tale… Be careful what you sign!

The scenes at the Guidice’s home getting ready for the christening seemed very forced by all present. There are relatives there, none look happy. The grandma? holding the baby didn’t look like she was holding her granddaughter – no love shown. Joe was disconnected from the whole thing and did nothing but whine and complain. Teresa was single handedly dressing the girls – why no aunts helping? Teresa was only excited when Dina got there….. so I am wondering if this is a family full of people not liking each other or just camera shy???
Then the christening reception, I mean PARTY! – 200 people?? Were they close friends? Family? Business associates? The Brownstone has been featured as much as any housewife this season and I have to believe Bravo picked up the tab for this party as well. What was sad is how hard Teresa tried to get Joe’s attention/affection/approval and all he wanted to do was to get out of there – IMO Joe wants nothing more to do with RHONJ and is seeing a side of his wife he really, really doesn’t like. Teresa may not know where all the money went but all Joe has to do is look at her and whoop there it is!
What bothers me most is that a christening is a personal, religious rite. As a mother and as a godmother there are overwelming feelings and it didn’t show in the actual christening scene on either Teresa or Dina’s faces. Yes, you celebrate this blessed event but you don’t make a circus out of it!
There was something else going on, maybe they were camera shy, but they weren’t when they were making the sauce in the garage during the first or second episode. I think Joe’s mood and behavior might have set others off, he was not nice and didn’t hide it from anyone who got in his way. I don’t like Dina but she shows up with gifts and he was an asshold about it. His mood alone could have set others off and maybe the family just tried to stay away so it didn’t get worst. Plus you know Joe was bad because it was the one time Teresa said so on camera, of course she threw in the excuse of the him working too hard at the pizza place but she acknowledged or warned us that he was not in a good mood.

More likely, Joe had started to realize that since filing bankruptcy, how is he going to explain splurging on this expensive, over the top ridiculous party? Perhaps he had realized by this time that doing the RHONJ had brought too much attention on his shady finances, no? The IRS is investigating him, he is charged with forgery over the mortgage documents by his business partner…and Teresa? Flashing cash on TV, spending way too much when he’s trying to claim his what was it, less than $4,000 a month salary, with family “donating” $10,000 a month …he must have the IRS, FBI and who knows what other government agencies investigating him. JMO!

Danielle talks a big game but she has yet to bust a move on any of the housewives. She used Kim G – money, car/driver, access to places and events she can’t afford, a friend to stand by her so she looks like she is liked, etc. She must have been really pissed – she carries the show and the rest get to go to Italy! lol
Dina is a total poser, imo. I thought it was very obvious at the infamous table-flipping dinner and the reunion that Caroline was covering for Dina when she took the blame for spreading Danielle’s past secrets to everyone who would listen . Caroline likes to play the martyr and “protector”, and she likes to make it known that she’s not intimidated by Danielle. Dina’s behavior appeared fearful to me – I kept thinking that somebody has really got the goods on Diva (I mean Dina) and she’s doing whatever it takes to keep the cover on. Dina seemed nowhere near as passionate about the whole “Danielle did something bad to Dina” mystery as Caroline did. Instead, Dina seemed to be repressing a lot of frustration that she was in a spot where she just had to act like any issues with Danielle and Jacqueline were in the past (because she didn’t want her own past actions being spilled). I believe that Danielle really does have knowledge about Dina and is using it as leverage – there’s no other reason for Dina’s departure from the show. I agree with something error404 said a few weeks back, to the effect that this was supposed to be Dina’s show – in Dina’s mind and Caroline’s mind. Danielle has literally stolen the show.
I haven’t watched this season, but I will be glued to the reunion if Bravo will let Danielle spill (and Danielle’s ready to do so). I don’t think Danielle’s bluffing; I think she’s conniving and she’s been leveraging some juicy dirt for a while now (beyond Lexi’s parental consent form). Dina is an idiot for unleashing Danielle’s secrets so publicly when her own hands are dirty. Danielle no longer has anything to lose.
Uhm, does Danielle realize that Run DMC is was three people and one of them is dead?

“What’s the big lie from Dina?” Well, that’s the question and maybe Danielle really knows the answer (possibly via Jacqueline). Even, if her husband said “enough” after she was already on the show for 1 1/2 seasons, I think there’s gotta be a reason for that. Who knows – it would be interesting to find out. It’s just my strong feeling, but I don’t for a minute believe that Dina left because of Danielle or because she just didn’t want to do the show anymore. There’s more to the story.

Speculating here, but maybe the Dina Manzo leaving thing has something to do with a cheating husband? On My Big Fat Fabulous Wedding, Tommy Manzo admitted to cheating on Dina for several months before deciding to marry her. So, we know Dina puts up with his shenanigans.
He didn’t go on the show, maybe to save face after being such a sleazeball on VH1.
So…could there be another affair the TV world doesn’t know about? Maybe an affair between Danielle and Tommy, or someone else “in the loop”?
Something had Dina running scared to get off the show, and something got Caroline crazy worked up, more worked up than her own son flunking out of college.
Or maybe it’s the other way around. Maybe Dina banged someone else. But I would applaud that after being reminded of Tommy Manzo’s disgusting ways while watching My Big Fat Fabulous Wedding again.

Dina consulted her crystals and discovered that Kim G is actually Danielle’s birth mother. This is the “secret” they have been holding for so long.
Another thing: did you notice how you just can’t take these ho bags anywhere? First the table goes flying in one restaurant. Then Danielle and Dina end up screaming at each other in another. Then off to the Brownstone where all hell breaks loose at the charity event. Then the “horse chase” at the golf club fashion show. Finish that up with Kim G spewing her filth at the Portabello Restaurant and you have to wonder if any of those unsuspecting patrons got reimbursed for having their dinner plans interrupted by this band of outlaws.
Really – Franklin Lakes is turning into a very uncivilized place to live. Can’t go anywhere and enjoy a simple cocktail or meal…country club isn’t even safe! These “womans” have to be stopped!

Hey everyone!
Oh my god, I’m now one of these people. I think that every experience I have with Bryn is reinventing the wheel. I still maintain that being a mom is the most difficult job in the world. Work is easy; motherhood is hard.
Jason is incredible at fatherhood. He loves giving baths, changing diapers, doing feedings. In fact, sometimes I just want him to let me do all of it. I get jealous. I love her so much that I want her all to myself. That feeling passes because I’m so grateful for him.
Motherhood makes you do crazy things. I had a trip to LA to film Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader? and I came back 12 hours later on the redeye. I wanted to be home for her breakfast feeding.
You all know how neurotic I am. I always need to unpack the second I enter my house. When I’m out for the day, I like to undress or unload packages, etc. immediately. Now the only thing I want to do is run directly to Bryn and snuggle with her. If I could fit, I would crawl into her crib. I’m so in love! How did I almost not do this?
I’m still breastfeeding, but my schedule is making it more difficult. I believe in doing what you are doing to the best of your ability. If you can’t do it well, then don’t. Breastfeeding is no exception, so I’m hanging in as long as I can.
Otherwise, work is back in full swing. Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader? was fun and scary. The one thing people are afraid of is appearing stupid. Jeff Foxworthy was so engaging and sweet. I loved him. Terrific guy. Another highlight was co-hosting The View. I truly was nervous, humbled, and excited. I think it went well. The ladies were very welcoming and helpful, and I really enjoyed the experience. (You can watch a clip on my site.)
The summer is flying by. Have you felt good in your bikinis? Are you treating your diets like a bank account? I haven’t been exercising nearly enough, but you know how I feel. Sleep is more important, and just do all that you can when you can. I will get there.
I’m still writing “Place of Yes.” It was finished before Bryn came and before I was married, so I burned it in the barbecue and started over. It didn’t feel authentic to publish a book written before the greatest milestones in my life. I’m now on chapter 4 and it is really great. My heart is in it.
Lastly, I apologize that the Skinnygirl margarita has been challenging to find. It flies off shelves the minute it hits them. We’ve amped up production, so there should be product everywhere. It was very stressful having a hot product and not being able to meet demand. You can only imagine how crazy it made me. I’ve never seen a brand take off like this. I’m thrilled and proud.
I have to take a moment to say thank you. All of your support, letters, emails and words have inspired me. Thanks for watching my show. I really put it all out there, and I appreciate you participating in my journey. It is why I do it in the first place.

This is why I really like Bethenny and the Manzo/Giudice/Laurita’s drive me nuts. Bethenny is real. She has said many times that she puts it all out there. On RHONJ it seems like they took an “omerta” to not put anything of value out there. It’s all secret and lies….Danielle is included in this too. I do not believe anything that comes out of any of their mouths.
Bethenny, on the other hand, says it all and definitely has showed it all. There is no guessing involving Bethenny. If she makes a fool out of herself so bet it. Refreshing.

Wow, we saw her hand in the final manuscript right before the wedding. That is a ton of rewrite to do the book over, but it certainly makes sense to include parenthood and marriage.

When I looked at the pictures of her as a child – she has a small forehead to begin with….. When I was pregnant – my hairline sprouted all kind of new hairs! So Teresa has had four children in 9 years – she is well on her way to having her hairline meet her eyebrows up close and personal!

Wondering – has anybody seen the McMansion listed in the bankruptsy petition filing? Asking because somewhere there has to be a declared homestead (primary residence)….if the Chapter 7 trustee is calling the McMansion the primary residence – then Teresa may be right that it isn’t under/in foreclosure….yet. I say this because I don’t know what the true value of that monster is – they will still have to qualify for a mortgage, which might be very difficult. But I am wondering if what T is bringing in from Bravo/book/online peddling might be enough to cover a mortgage. It will also depend on what they set as the final debt amount and how much those monthly payments will be and whether or not they can get someone to give them a mortgage, plus their true income is still unknown. So when we see her smiling and/or yelling or blogging about the mcmansion not being in foreclosure – it might be true……….for now.

Great blog as usual Lynn. As for Dina, I never cared for her and still don’t. Not even last season. She always comes off to me as incredibly unhappy and insincere with her energy and spirituality crap and I guess those tweets revealed it. I think she does miss the show once she realized that people have moved on. She probably imagined there’d be an outcry for her to be back and then they’ll finally get rid of Danielle because Dina was so popular. Think again! LOL! And for being a bravolebrity or whatever, these people sure have a lot of time on their hands to be twittering nonsense.
As for the show, the thing that struck me as well was Joe’s hostility toward his wife. Teresa is really not a happy wife as she claims to be. If the overspending on gaudy crap didn’t give me a clue, it sure was all the pleading for affection from Joe this season. Methinks Joe really does have someone on the side! Bethenny argued against it and did really well (when you could understand because the author, she, and a former mistress all debated it.) I suck at recaps …hopefully it will be up on her site soon. I’m pretty sure its the Countess. She was there a few weeks ago and it also mentioned that the person had a teenage daughter.
I saw the Rachel Joe Project and I did not like it at all. I think there is more to the story and isn’t a lawsuit going on right now? I watched last season hate to say it but Taylor was the breakout star and not Rachel. Did Rachel lost more weight? I could all her bones.
If there isn’t a lawsuit, Taylor should sue all of the people on the show last night. There was a producer that called Rachel and she was trying to hurt Taylor’s chances at getting work too. That business was a financial wreck because no one paid attention to the business aspects. Rachel herself spent money like water. They are going to blame that mess on Taylor?
I was fascinated that the gay guy wants there to be a pecking order now that he is in charge. Wasn’t that the problem with Taylor over the years. He spent his time playing with Rachel while Taylor did the leg work.
Rachel has to wear layers of clothes in 90 degree weather because she is a skeleton due to an eating disorder. She looks old for a thirty something. Look at her cheeks.
I guess I won’t be watching that train wreck because, like Bethenny, I’m getting tired of the getting excited when a dress arrives.

Tuned into the Larry King Show and was only able to stomach the first 15 minutes, Bethenny or not. What a thorough travesty! Two idiot women, one a former mistress to a married Gordon Ramsay, and another ho bag touting the “cheating is a good thing” vs Bethenny who was unable to slide a word in edgewise as these two dominated the conversation with the most inane reasoning regarding relationships.
The hostess filling in for Larry is married to George Stephanopoulos who must cringe every time she opens her mouth. She was unable to focus and get her guests in order which must have made Bethenny question just why the hell she was there in the first place.
What I watched was an exercise in futility and common sense with the “mistress” decrying how much women give up in their lives while “dating” a married man. Tiger Woods partners must have felt the empathy radiating out of that bimbo but Bethenny appeared shocked at the suggestion that “one needs to share their partner”. Give me a freaken break!
No wonder CNN is suffering in the ratings. Unbelievable crap!

Rachel Zoe vs. Taylor
Whatever happened within that business, I am sure that the ever disgruntled Taylor felt passed over and abused by Rachel. The company was RZ but Taylor was a contributing factor to Rachel’s success and styled many successful looks for the company. The rift could have come about when Rachel made promises re: her line for HSN(?). Taylor wanted more involvment, yet she was doing all of the grunt work although Brad had been hired. This wasn’t just a JillZarin trying to jump on Bethenny’s business as a partner. Taylor was with her for years working and even though grumpy, she was seen taking care of her. That should have gotten her at least 1 percent of her company profits. Rachel also allowed Brad to make the choice to go to Paris. I guess Taylor started “taking” stuff to make up for the slights against her. You know how people say we are doing this together until there is actual ownership and all of the sudden they own everything. You were just helping out.
Last season, while Brad was styling for awards season best actress he mockingly told Taylor “good luck with Ashton and Demi”, who were going to an after party. Yet today he’s so into Demi. What a difference a day makes!
I agree! I felt bad for Taylor in the last seasons. Brad is a lot like fingernails on a chalkboard, so irritating. Rachel really should have taken better care of Taylor as an employee. If she had, most likely there would not have been an issue that could not be resolved. If I had been Taylor, from what was shown of past seasons, I would have felt used and abused, and my letter of resignation would have been waiting for Rachel when she and Brad got back from Paris.
I don’t think Taylor “took stuff” – the impression Roger gave was that Taylor went a little overboard with her expense account. Personally, I’m not sure it’s true. Taylor was grumpy and moody, but she seemed straightforward. I think RZ and Rodger were just looking to make Taylor look bad to swamp her new solo career – and it didn’t work, because she’s reportedly doing great.
RZ is a great stylist, but her interactions with her employees leaves a lot to be desired. And I agree that she owed Taylor a lot, because the gal did work hard.

A better question you should ask is why is Dina going out of her way to read the tweets of people she blocks and then respond to them? If you would have read (and comprehended) what Lynn wrote up there, you would see that Dina was arguing with someone else, then added “and your friend lyyn” at the end of her tweet, thus dragging Lynn into the conversation. And I wouldn’t consider Lynn’s blog bullying or instigating. She is watching a show and writing her opinion of it – just like hundred of other bloggers do for hundreds of other shows everyday. So what?
And Dina did call Lynn “u ass” I saw that one with my own eyes. And Miss Positivity retweeted a really negative tweet written about Lynn by someone else. Dina was being a real bitch yesterday. 1st of all, Jacqueline and Danielle were already friends.
Secondly, Dina and Danielle already knew about each other and were already in a feud when the first season premiered. If you recall, since you seem to know so much about the show, Danielle was not invited to a get together Dina was having, at Cipriani, and waited on a bench outside the hair salon, then went in to say hi to Dina and was still not invited. It was because she was “spreading rumors in town”.
Lastly, if you don’t think Danielle has any credibility about having “dirt” on the other women, it doesn’t matter because Caroline is the one that said that Danielle “knew what she did”, not Danielle. So, apparently, more than one person knows that Danielle has some dirt.
I am not saying that Danielle is some angel, but to be honest, in her own twisted way, a lot of what she says is truthful.
As far as getting a hobby, one of my hobbies is to watch Real Housewives and then enjoy the sense of community online.

Well I finally watched the current episode.
I have to say I was found the scene at the gyno to be quite unsettling.
I think it is wonderful to advocate for safe sex, but that was not the message!
Danielle kept rambling about how disgusting sex is, and why no one should want to engage in it. I understand that most mothers want their daughters to postpone having sex. But why does Danielle project her damaged, trauma ridden experiences onto her daughter?
Instead of talking openly about mistakes she made, she simply says that she “doesn’t date”, but there is video to the contrary.
Why not tell your daughter that sex can be an amazing and human experience when it is done in a trusting and loving relationship.
For Danielle to say that her daughter won’t give into temptation is not only naive, but damaging.
When my daughter was of the age to see a OBGYN, I made sure it was a woman. I felt it would be easier for my girl to relate.
I didn’t even THINK about that….excellent point. Seeing a male gyn @ 16 is awkward, in my opinion.
Agree completely Katie!!! One of the few things I used to think was admirable about Danielle is that she was upfront and non-judgmental with her girls, and if anything that she shared too much with them. So I was mortified at her asking Christine repeatedly if she was a “good girl.” What, good girls don’t have sex, only bad girls do? And then saying, “Don’t have sex, it’s disgusting?” What an antiquated, screwed up message. The only thing she left out was to tell her her vagina was a dirty and ugly thing; perhaps those words of wisdom were saved for the car ride home.
The only message that should have been given to Christine is that she needs to protect herself both physically and emotionally, and to make smart choices about who she chooses to be intimate with and why. I also agree that finding a woman doc would have been more sensitive. I don’t know what 16-yr old girl wants to be examined by a 50-plus year old man…I don’t care how great a doctor he is.
Both girls unfortunately grew up knowing their mother jumped from one guy to the next, plying them with sex, and hopefully that is an example they don’t want to repeat. And I’m sure they’ve seen clips of her sex tape, and her announcing she’s a lesbian on WWHL as well. I just can’t even imagine growing up with that, and having your whole school and town aware of this as well.
Christine seems to have a better head on her shoulders than her mother ever did, and I think she gets that Danielle is a desperate woman with no self-esteem. The best thing Christine can do is get away from her.

Guaranteed there will be some over the top tacky furniture there as always w/the reunion shows…always seems to clash w/their dresses, lol.
They are at the Borgata/Water Club. I could tell by Jac’s pic. I’ve stayed there, and will be there end of August. It’s a nice hotel, completely off the boardwalk, and from what I understand, the Water Club has event rooms so I guess they’ll use one of those.

For the benefit of those not near the Atlantic City area, The Water Club is overrated, in my opinion. I finally decided I was going to check it out one weekend last month. First of all, if you can even find how to get to this place without getting lost and/or ditched by signs to it, good luck. I grew up spending all my summers further down on the island, and it’s not as if I’m unfamiliar with Atlantic City. Still, my Mom and I got lost and had to find our way back. They have created a maze of highways that was never necessary. It’s almost as if they are trying to prevent visitors from reaching the Borgata.
Once you finally get to their parking lot, you may wish you had taken a Dramamine. I have never looked at a parking lot and said, “Oh my God.” You see three successive ramps in front of you that make it look like you’re almost driving up at a 90-degree angle. I’ve lived around multi-level parking all my life, but this was bad. I felt sick to my stomach, and I really didn’t want to experience it again. I decided to ignore instructions I was given when I left the parking lot, because I am convinced they would have directed me where I didn’t want to go. I was right.
When I took a walk through the casino, the first thing that hit me was the choking smell of cigarette smoke. This was truly enough to put a large damper on my experience there. Smoking ban, my ass. If people are going to smoke — which they obviously are in large numbers — then the least they could do is have a ventilation system that can handle it, and they should have industrial-strength odor-destroying OUST being piped in. I felt like I was walking around in a giant ashtray.
The Dale Chihuly glass sculptures, the nicest thing there, are virtually ignored by people walking in and out who don’t even look up. There are very few stores in this casino (compared to Tropicana, let’s say) and there was nothing in any of them that I wanted.
One thing the casino does have is an interesting mix of restaurants, but again you must walk around the smoky casino floor to reach them. The Sunroom bar/restaurant Bethenny and her friends sat in for her bachelorette weekend is really very small, although at least it’s away from the main casino floor and the smoke. It has a little bar people can sit at, and the rest of it is a tiny path that just snakes around a lot of indoor trees, with very few tables. The fireplace where they were sitting is at the opposite end of the path from the entrance. The other claim to fame of the Borgata is the spa that’s on an upper floor, but I think you have to be a hotel guest or have an appointment to go up there.
I meant to say the Borgata is overrated. The Water Club is just their spa that’s on an upper floor.
Actually TLM, the Water Club is a hotel, part of the Borgata, but it’s considered a “separate” hotel. If you book a room at Borgata, you cannot visit The Water Club pools. I stayed at The Water Club for 2 nights, not worth the money.
I agree with you on most points. The one thing I was happy with was the fact that we were far away from the Boardwalk, but only because it was a romantic weekend. Otherwise, I’d go back to the boardwalk.
Pricewise, The Water Club prices can be twice as much as Borgata,, and from what I understand, the rooms aren’t any better. We weren’t happy with our room for what we paid.
As for the restaurant in BGM?, that is right off the side of the front desk of The Water Club.

That was actually a pretty good interview. Granted, Taylor was limited to what she could say, but she also seemed really disinclined to rehash the past, regardless of legal constraints. She came across as reasonable and positive-far more than Rachel Zoe has over the whole affair.
I don’t know if Taylor “stole” items or finagled her expense account – I’m definitely leaning towards that being something Zoe and her husband cooked up to discredit Taylor and hamper her future prospects-accusing her of stealing would be the most effective way to do that. I find it hard to believe that Zoe herself doesn’t help herself to designer items from her salon frequently, and it wouldn’t surprise me if she authorized her female employees to do so as well, as a job perk. As well, Taylor, moody as she was, always seemed straightforward when it came to business.
None of this is making Rachel Zoe look good. She should have left it all alone, and not included it in the show.
I completely agree. I saw the show last night and was shocked that Rodger and Rachel were insinuating that Taylor stole clothes and money from them. It seemed like the real reason why Taylor left is because she was dissatisfied and Rachel hadn’t followed through with some of her professional promises even though Taylor was the one who did most of the work (certainly she is more capable and hardworking than Brad who just likes to look pretty in my opinion.) Rodger spent like 20 minutes yesterday talking about negative Taylor was (she was negative) but then at the last second he said that she basically stole money.
I thought that was a low blow and an effort to blacklist Taylor from working as a stylist. It seemed like they should have just left it alone and not mentioned Taylor at all or certainly not have said such negative and salacious things about her.
Rachel came across as dodgy and unprofessional. Rodger is so ecstatic to now have equal billing/face time on the show and in her business. And Brad was very excited to be promoted and have his own assistant.
Wonder who will do all of the work now? Brad was not the hardest worker by any stretch of the imagination.
We shall see.
Rodger said “Taylor was fired by him”. Can he say this if it isn’t true? Couldn’t Taylor sue them? On last night’s episode, Rachel even went as far to say that “if Taylor left to go out on her own-they would wish her well”. But that’s not what was said… Rodger said he “fired” her and Rachel repeated that Taylor had been fired.
Rodger insinuated that he fired Taylor for stealing, something to do with the books. He said some things were “questionable” when he took over. Rachel had Brad and the other assistants do an inventory of all company property. Brad told Rachel that Taylor pretty much returned everything.
So, I took it that Taylor was fired for embezzlement? If Taylor quit, and was not fired, like Rodger and Rachel have claimed-can’t she sue them for libel?
I read the interview Taylor did. She seemed to abide by their confidentiality agreement, but she had not seen the first episode yet. I wouldn’t let my employer tell everybody on national tv that I was fired and accused of stealing if it isn’t true. I would sue them if I was Taylor. I guess we’ll have to see what happens next?
Taylor was let go (fired) and the reasons were unclear as to why – her expense account had problems, she may/may not have returned property (dresses, accessories, shoes, etc) that belonged to RZ, she was insubordinate and/or disrespectful to her employer – on the show she was more negative than positive about RZ which could effect the business.
By saying she signed a non disclosure agreement it is likely there was something she did that charges could have been brought against her and RZ simply just wanted her to go away and keep her mouth shut.
I thought Taylor was referring to the nondisclosure agreement employees sign with Zoe as a condition of employment.
NDA’s are pretty std for employees of “celebs” and the enterprises that provide their support systems. That in itself is not suspect.
It’s strange to me because 8 months ago Taylor announced that she had amicably left Rachel Zoe. Rachel never said anything about Taylor being let go/fired 8 months ago. Now, all of a sudden, she and Rodger are saying that Taylor stole money and clothes? Doesn’t make sense to me.
And Rachel was really angry because Taylor is working on her own and managed to score Kate Beckinsale as a client and Rachel was livid because she had worked with Kate before.
I don’t buy the embezzlement or stealing thing for one minute. I can see firing Taylor because she was rude and disrespectful but all the other stuff just seems like a smear campaign to me.

Don’t believe Zoe. Taylor did 75% of the work there. Last year it was the samples. This year, the samples were all shown as returned and now some vague financial inconsistency is blamed on her. So I guess Taylor was their bookeeper and Accountant also.
Bad move on Zoe’s part. If monies were missing, WHY no criminal charges?
I really didn’t watch this show faithfully but sometimes I did. Taylor did not seem very happy and seemed like she had no respect for her boss. Am I seeing this wrong?
When they mentioned numbers not adding up I thought maybe she was stealing but then maybe it was that the company was being charged for all those shoes and outfits she was borrowing and not returning. Maybe they bill you for not returning certain items.
I thought they said she was a thief too.
Bravo tried to make it look as if Rachel calling for the police had to do with Taylor, when in fact it was nothing more than a hotel giving a dress to the wrong person. I really think that was obnoxious on Bravo’s part.
I agree that Taylor could be moody, but Rachel loved it because it fed into her whole self-important ego trip about her company, and her own belief that matching dresses with actresses is the most important job on earth. And Rachel is plenty moody herself. Rachel wouldn’t exist if she didn’t have drama in her life: she describes any problem with clothes as a “disaster.” Now that Taylor is gone, she keeps bringing her up and how it’s causing her to have a breakdown. If she’s so glad to be rid of Taylor, shouldn’t she seem happier? And shouldn’t she not need to talk about her every 5 minutes??
If she so hated Taylor, she could have replaced her a long time ago and a million times over with someone else. And I really don’t see how you call someone your “blessed jewel” if they make your life a living hell every day. On the flip side of this, Taylor was being promised a branding position with Rachel that never came to be, and when she said if that wasn’t going to happen, Rachel’s response was, “You know, people move on.” It was a big deal for Taylor to say she would leave, and it didn’t sound like Rachel cared very much. It goes both ways.
THEY are both obnoxious, drama bringing, obsessed with fame, unprofessional divas. Watching them is like watching two toddlers with the terrible twos tantrums in overdrive! Rachel needs to gear her ass down and stop stressing over nonsense and Taylor needs to work with someone who can mentor her and teach her how to be professional. As for the guys – candy and fluff! I liked watching Demi Moore and it was obvious that she didn’t really interact with the stylists (boring dressers).
One of the most interesting things about the ep was watching R be in such a subservient position around Demi
Housewives DC on View this morning. Dare I? Can I take it? Is it too soon after the Jersey crowd? May take nap instead. I’ll catch up here later.
I detest Danielle and the Bravo executives who put this travesty together. And I detest myself for watching it.
There is no doubt in my mind that this show is thoroughly scripted from start to finish. There is no way in hell that a bunch of women would ever consent to engage in this nonsense unless they were guaranteed a hefty paycheck at the end of the day in order to justify their outrageous behavior. It is clear these ladies loathe one another and the commonsense approach to this emotion is avoidance at any cost. Yet for the past two lengthy, monotonous seasons we have been exposed to “hate Danielle” and the paranoid fantasies of a very troubled woman.
For Danielle Staub to use her daughters as nothing but “props” to ensure her face time on this show is bordering on child abuse. The last episode involving Christine and the Gyn appointment was beyond absurd. Danielle had to have given permission to the producers, along with the physician himself, to film this uncomfortable scene as her daughter looked on wretchedly. Those two kids must be paid extra for “performing” in those mother/daughter scenes which would explain Danielle’s need to publicly humiliate them for the sake of a paycheck. Bad enough she is making money on her infamous sex tapes, swaggering all over the country with her latest “girlfriend”, promoting a book that is filled with lies and exaggeration, and appearing weekly on a show that highlights her lack of morals as the rest of the cast disparages her at every turn. Dragging her kids along on this nefarious ride is cruel.
The collusion between these so called performers and Bravo is evident. Even to the suggestion that most of these episodes are filmed for the sole purpose of creating an atmosphere of “drama” mixed in with the hint of violence. Exposing kids to this exhibitionism is rank opportunism by way of a substantial paycheck. Bravo creates the scenario and the cast agrees up front.
Watching Teresa behave like a complete fool as her financial empire collapses is perhaps the sorriest storyline of all. There is little remorse, or a moment of shame, as she spends her family into a financial meltdown that is captured on film for the appetite of an audience guaranteed to ensure ratings. She is complicit in the “storyline” as she flits from boutique to boutique racking up sales that she knows she will never be able to afford. And the camera is right there filming every morsel of her unbridled greed.
The last episode featuring Kim G trailing Danielle into the parking lot spewing obscenities at the top of her lungs is yet another example of “scripted” drama. No one can convince me that this woman “acted” on her own without prior approval from the producers and the restaurant itself. It would not surprise me in the least to discover that the “patrons” dining there that day were not hand picked in advance since any reputable establishment would never submit paying customers to that brand of insanity unaware. Just not good for business to have two “Screamy Meemies” engage in combat during the soup course.
Bravo has stretched this mess of a series into a 15 week marathon of some of the worst behavior advanced by women to ever appear on t.v. But Bravo itself is not the only problem. It is the consent of these women to allow themselves to take part in a series that showcases them in the worst possible light.
The pity should only be reserved for the collateral damage inflicted on the children of these morons who have no control over the parental decisions and Bravo itself. Revolting.

I don’t know if it’s all planned out, but I’ve seen some pretty weird stuff over the years. My drunken aunt Betty threw a large diamond ring into the grass when she was screaming at her soon to be ex husband when she caught his in bed with his girl friend. I watched it happen and looked for years for that ring which we never found. Then, there is the very nice dinner party in an expensive home, where a women going through a divorce because our hostess has slept with her husband (and I’m guessing half of the men in our small city) entered univited and threw several lamps to the floor before she was excorted out of the home. I think that this happens all of the time. Oh.. shall I tell your about my niece who spent her wedding night in jail when she got into a fight with her brand new mother in law over the bar tab?

I don’t think the show is scripted, but I’m sure the women have to plan parties and activities to film. I also think they tell them the day that Bravo will be at their homes so the women can make arrangements to have something interesting to film.
I do think Bravo seeks out women they think may not get along or will bring the drama. I think the women can say or do what they want to. I think it’s a bonus for Bravo when they end up with the Danielle’s, Teresa’s and Jill’s of the world… BINGO!

I also was on Twitter during the Dinasuer’s attack on Lynn, I saw all of her tweets, wish i had copied them. Lynn was absolutely accurate in her statements.
Yesterday I unloaded a lot of garbage that has been festering for too long. I was so touched by the first responses I had to take a break and re group. When I logged on today and saw how many people responded with so much love and support, well chalk up another bucket of tears. Thanks to all of you for your kindness and understanding. I am sure my mom had no choice in giving me up and that she wanted the best for me. Maybe it is a good thing I haven’t found her, I wouldn’t want her to feel she let me down. I think the trolls need to see the love on this blog. We may hate Jill Zarin, but we are there for each other. I love, the I hate Jill Zarin gang.

Every time I read the glowing comments on Teresa’s blogs I am thankful for this place because I start to feel like I am in some altered state where people like Teresa not get away with stuff but get praised for it.

Without knowing any of the circumstances…..I have to tell you that I have witnessed several friends – who while still grieving the loss of a beloved pet – felt so terrible – – that within days, a few weeks, they felt the need to go and get another .
In every case, it was the best thing for these people to do – – – it ended up transferring the pain …to love for the new pet – and honoring the deceased pet. Its crazy – we know that there is no way that we can do that for the loss of a human we loved . But with a pet – its very different.
Please forgive, I don’t mean to this be insensitive at all. It’ s something to keep in mind as you grieve these next days. Please do consider getting another pet – same breed or even different. I think you will find it a miraclous ‘healing’ – and you will honor your dear beloved doggie….

I’m going out on a limb here. But I saw the D list episode where Chance passes. Kathy earnestly showed her love for this family member. I cried, too.
True to Kathy’s personality, she knew she had to find a new buddy for her other dog. Dog’s grieve, too. She did the right thing and once again, I cried.
The two furry creatures at my feet whenever I am at the computer have been together since the womb. They do everything together and cry loudly when one is taken away from the other – like at the groomers. I always say when one passes the other will die of a broken heart.

When my beloved yellow lab died-I said no more, I can’t take it. But, a sweet little puppy needed a home. She was being given away at Wal-mart. All the other puppies were gone, she was the last one because she had thrown-up on herself and nobody wanted her. My son brought her home… she immeadiately made me feel better… even though I couldn’t replace “CoCo”… Dolly has been the sweetest, my biggest fan, loveable PUPPY in the world who came along at the right time. That was almost 12 years ago… she is a rottweiler/chow mix, and NOBODY with bad intentions gets around me-not with my Dolly showing every tooth in her mouth and every hair standing up on her body!
LOL-everytime I see Cookie defending Bethenny, it reminds me of Dolly. She lets all the kids and babies… and our 2 CATS, wallow all over her!

My daughter has 2 black labs that were litter-mates. They do everything together… everything. We’ve always said when one goes the other will die from a broken heart.
They even had puppies at the same time. One had her puppies a couple of weeks before the other one. Her puppies were born dead. When the other one had her puppies… she had 12 healthy puppies. The one that lost her puppies, took some puppies from the other one… it was so funny. The one mother needed help feeding them all, anyway. But-she would go get her puppies back.
Finally, my daughter gave each of them 6 puppies and they were happy. It ended up that both mothers nursed which ever puppies wanted to nurse, whenever. Those were some fat and happy puppies.
All is well now because Molly and Macy were both spayed soon after. They don’t even know their separate names… they both think their name is Molly/Macy… LOL! They look identical, too!
Bamabelle – I don’t think my two realize they each have a separate name either 😉

What I don’t get is all these new people saying get a hobby. But THEY take time to type on a blog. If you are so busy with your fabulous life, why are you even typing here. Teresa’s Bravo blog is up. She states that as far the christening party is concerned “to all her haters” that BRAVO filmed it and Dina planned it, so they took good care of her, whatever that means. If she is inplying that she got a huge discount, then that is her excuse. But that doesn’t explain why there so many scenes of Joe being pissy and making comments about the cost of this and that.
Even if Dina payed for the whole damn thing, I’m sure Joe was plenty pissed about the amount of money Teresa spent buying those girls and herself clothes, shoes, bows, and purses for the christening. Plus-how much was that photographer? Plus-I bet she bought her parents new clothes, too.
Joe did say on that episode that he took the check book away from Teresa. She’s just such a liar! I can’t believe she’s making comments referring to “the haters”? Plus-Teresa did say that Joe didn’t use to know how much she wrote a check for, for parties!
The whole christening was a vulgar display. I grew up in an Irish-Italian area, and for Teresa to pretend this is a normal thing is ludicrous. No one makes a “small wedding” for a christening. You have the ceremony and then maybe a celebratory lunch for the family at a restaurant. This was just ridiculous. Marie Antoinette at a christening reminded me of the bar and bat mitzvahs that have “themes,” something I have found offensive for years. The “theme” is the bar or bat mitzvah itself. It doesn’t need to have Transformers, or Disney, or whatever the hell else.
Teresas writes “…Dina planned it. and then two sentences later, she writes “Didn’t Dina and I do a fantastic job planning it?”
Not to mention it’s not enough for Teresa to screech “do ya LOVE it? do ya LOVE it?” to her friends and family, but now she’s doing it in her blog?

Rob’s “source” isn’t complaining that they are made fools of, just complaining that they aren’t paid enough for the job of making fools of themselves. Probably the complainer is also one of those who throws themselves in front of a camera at every opportunity and happily snarfs up all the “perks” and freebies available as a “star” of one of those trainwrecks. (From the context sounds like one of the Jersey girls in need of cash.)

If they don’t have a clear idea how to channel this exposure (like Bethenny) then most of them are just being used. Sadly I don’t think some of them even realize it. I think the source for Rob’s story is someone from the NJ cast (Teresa). I heard they only got paid $3000 per episode but the NY cast got paid about $10,000 per episode.
First season’s pay is the lowest, when they’re just starting out. Subsequent seasons’ pay is higher. I’ve seen ridiculously high figures rumored about NJ HW’s 2nd season pay. Whatever they’re paid, they get more than that in the opportunities now available to them if they (or their people) have any smarts at all.
If Rob & his genius source thinks millions of folks who work hard for a living to make ends meet and pay their bills are going to join a pity party for a bunch of self entitled women who voluntarily sign up to parade about, showing off their expensive clothes and excessive material possessions and brag about their exclusive lifestyles, well that shows how out of touch with with the economic realities that most working people have to deal with every day. Well…IMO presumably these folks are already living this way. The premise of the show is that we are getting a glimpse into the already established lives of rich housewives of XXXX city.
No one is being asked to build their own set. The idea is that we are looking at their actual every-day home, not one built for TV.
If a castmember chooses to upgrade their home, and spends thousands on national TV doing it, it makes for interesting viewing and fits in with the display of wealth these shows are about, but it is certainly not a requirement of filming on any of the HW shows.
“Forces” them? Nonsense. No one forces them to spend beyond their means. To pretend to have things they don’t and can’t afford.
Bottom line, no one forces these people to be on the show. They volunteer for it. They negotiate contracts. First season is always low pay for these shows. Reportedly the NJ women got considerably more pay for the second season.

The Hills last episode give everyone a big hint. The NJ housewives are in the news so much it’s even better for Bravo because it makes it look like it’s really real. Sure parts of them are real but I’m thinking people will be really pissed off when they find out how much they’ve been jerked around emotionally. Maybe that’s why Bethenny films so much of her really intimate life, so we won’t think she jerked us around too when I don’t know…everyone wakes up to the big scam? I’m just ruminating but I think the people we’ll be most pissed off at is ourselves for falling for all this crappola. Also, maybe I’m a hopeless Bethenny fan but I think HER life as portrayed is real and I’ll follow her career anywhere it leads. I think she should host a talk show of her own. I think the reason we took to Bethenny is that she had something to offer by way of her business that was being created long before the series began. She also had something about her, snark and all, that was relatable. The others seem to have come from nowhere, and relied strictly on their personal behavior for acceptance. Some liked Jill, others not so much. This holds true for the other castmates as well.
Bethenny was already “on track” to promote her products before the series began. She was already an established celebrity chef known within the confines of NYC. The others only came into prominence with the promotion of the show and used the opportunity to promote products and books after the series took off. Bethenny, on the other hand, never made any bones about using this series to leverage her business model. She would have stayed with it with or without the series. The others have only capitalized on being called “stars” because up until this show was aired who had ever heard of any one of them?
Bethenny has the “star power” by way of her intelligence and the ability to laugh at herself. I can’t see the others from either NJ or NYC having that same inner awareness that in order to capture positive attention you must be willing to relate to the audience. The simple fact is that none of the others do.
Can anyone see Teresa laughing at herself or her predictment? Or Danielle, Jacqueline, Jill, Kelly or Lu Ann? Even Ramona lacks that gene and takes herself much too seriously. That’s why none of these women are able to carry a series on their own. Without other cast mates they really are a “bunch of bores” and unable to survive in a singular venue. Bethenny is aware of her limitations and recognizes that once in awhile she goes too far. I don’t see any other “housewife” from either series capable of doing that.
And as long at the NJ franchise has Caroline willing to “explain away” the excess behavior exhibited by that group of morons, any sense of “self awareness” will be long overdue.
Bethenny is a nice person who isn’t pretending to be someone she is not. That we all relate to is the situations/her reactions to them – she is genuine and her opinion is usually given with a needed dash of humor!

Alot of us on this blog live in New Jersey. It only takes 3 hours to drive from one end of the state to the other – point being – any of us could check it out in little driving time.
Is the reunion being held in Hillside, NJ – in one of the open aprtments above Guidices Pizza parlor – so they can charge Bravo a rental fee – and deliver some pizzas to the crew…????
Don’t forget Bravo has FOUR reunion episodes scheduled, so they are going to make a bundle.

Are you serious? The reunion is included in their contracts. As are other things such as promotional events, etc.
So yes, they’re getting paid for the whole gig. They sign up for the gig and then resign for another season and then complain? No one forces them to keep signing up for the show and what’s required of them. If any of them think it’s not enough, then don’t resign for another season. Simple. There are plenty of people waiting in line to make fools of themselves on camera for the pay and the other opportunities available to them as a result of the show.
One season or two of flipping tables and acting like lunatics, engaging in conspicuous consumption and outrageous spending, while people who have worked hard all their lives are losing their jobs, and now they want to be paid like the cast of Friends while portraying themselves as poor put upon “slave labor.” These are the same folks playing in the Hamptons at these exclusive events, flashing their bling and teaching their kids that they’re “too pretty to work.” Please.

On another topic, Kelly Bensimon just tweeted she is in Vegas. Didn’t her daughter just return from vacation yesterday. Does anyone else think that Kelly does not have custody of her kids and that they are cared for regulary by a nanny and the ex-husband? I am all for women working and providing for their kids and that means being away, but who are we fooling: this chick is off playing. Am I seeing this wrong?
I have always thought there might be more to that situation. Something just doesn’t seem right (Kelly paints a happy picture but like you stated, not a lot of time is spent together based on her tweets). I don’t follow her every move, but. . . The more Kelly talks about how great things are with the kids and ex the more I question it. They live floors apart in the same building, can they really still be that close and civil to each other after the divorce? I know it can happen and many are able to accomplish this, but we’re talking about Kelly.
I don’t think Kelly is the custodial parent – I think Gilles owns the building and mommy lives in the building so the girls can visit her – a convenient arrangement for everyone. IMO, Kelly and her “rules” for children are based on the limited amount of time she spends with them and considering all the things she does that she thinks will be empowering for them (playboy, being bullied on RHONY, etc) it is wise to put a couple of layers of mature adults/nannies/etc between them!

In the video, Caroline is interviewed by the local NJ news station about the bear and when asked about what Al is doing about it, mentions that he is a ‘sheriff officer’ and they have firearms in the house if neccesary. Am I the only one who was unaware that Daddy Al is a cop?

Also not familiar with the term ‘sheriff officer’. Out here in in So Cal we have the local Police, Highway Patrol and County Sheriff departments. As far as the Sheriff Dept, with the exception of the actual Sheriff (that is one person who holds the top position/title, like Police Chief) the rank and file are referred to as ‘deputy sheriff’, but it is not unusual to just shorten it to ‘sheriff’ when speaking to them/about them (ex: my husband is a sheriff.) The term/title “sheriff officer” is not common place here – maybe that is a NJ/east coast office?

That John Mayer concert was at PNC Bank Arts Center*, in Holmdel, NJ. I used to work there – its in my back yard. Funny – my dentist called me yesterday asking about best ticket locations. The Mayer concerts are always sold out and packed with adoring hormonal girls. What a scene.

Yup Taylor did all the work and Brad got all the perks. Maybe because Taylor was such a DebbieDowner and anti-social, Rachel enjoyed her token gay fawning over fashion and designers. She pretty much ignored his poor work ethic and continually defended his performance. I guess it was easy to do as Taylor, commander-in-thief(per RZ), was there keeping track of racks of clothes, lugging and receiving boxes, unpacking and hanging garments, while Brad did little and cried.
It really looks like character assasination, trying to ruin Taylor’s career. Like mentioned above, if she did criminal acts, like embezzlement, I’m sure she would’ve been prosecuted. Assessories taken? Don’t doubt it. They all get to use stuff. It’s like a giant closet. And this stuff is also seasonal. Who’s wearing last years Versace sunglasses or Prada shoes? Anyone?

Dina just tweeted that she took her daughter Lexi to a John Mayer concert last night – and she was glad other wise (I paraphrase ) – she’d be “you know where”. Inferring the reunion taping in Atlantic City.
That Mayer concert was at PNC Bank Arts Center, in Holmdel , NJ – a 17, 000 seat venue in my backyard. I just to work there. Funny – my dentist called me yesterday asking advice on best seat locations. Mayer concerts are always sold out – chick fests – especially for adoring hormonal girls. It’s a scene.
Yeah like Ashley who keeps tweeting Mayer asking to be friends and asked to have his babies. Her BF whatever that dorks name is was not too happy.
Cute that Mother and Daughter had a nice night out, or it would have been another night with Dina alone with her budha statue, cats and tea. I think she is climbing the walls that she is not on the show and at the Reunion.

While Joy Behar and Sherri Shepard were interviewing all the wives – and specifically grilling DC wife, Michelle Salahi, about the White House gate Crashing incident…..Whoopi Goldberg came out from backstage (she was not part of the show), tip toed over to M. Salahi and did somehing to her. It was slightly off camera – you could only see part of Whoopi, as she was standing behin Salahi. Clearly took Salahi by surpise. Not sure if Goldberg just made a face behind her back or tapped her on the shoulder or what….

I just watched it online. Salahi was listening to a question from Sherri when Whoopi came out and whispered to her something along the lines of “I want to talk to you later.” It wasn’t super dramatic, except for the fact that she was startled. BIG FREAKIN’ DEAL Salahi. Now we have to have a news conference?
Granted, we don’t know what Whoopi said to her after the show, but again, it’s not like she said anything ON AIR to her. Sorry, I think they are blowing this out of proportion, and I’m not a fan of The View or Whoopi.

I want to thank everyone for all your kind words on the loss of my beloved “Doti”. She was a sweet Cairn Terrier (think Toto) and was not yet 12 years old. There was hardly a day that passed where she didn’t make my husband and I laugh out loud, she was our little goof ball. I wish our fury friends could live as long as we humans do. The thought of another dog and another loss it just too hard to contemplate right now but I know ya’ll are probably right about the healing power of another pet. Thanks so much gang. Ya’ll are the most incredible group of people and I am honored to read all your intelligent & silly post:) And to think it took a dislike of Jill Zarin to bring us together! I am heading home from the office now, this is the hardest part because I still see her greeting me at the door. Dang, screen is blurry again. Love you all!
You have my sympathy, Viki. We had a Cairn Terrier – Chloe – for sixteen years, and we lost her last year. It was very hard. A few weeks after she died, my husband and I went by our local shelter because he “just wanted to look:. I was totally against the idea of a new dog, until we were greeted by a black lab, Luke, with a bowl in his face (he wanted more food) and we immediately fell in love. We now can’t imagine life without him – he really did make a very hard time much easier. So, I’ll add my voice in recommending a new pet-it can’t take the place of your other pet, but you’ll find there’s always room in your heart for another.
Vicki, please remember there are so many abandoned pets out there waiting to be with a family. No pet ever replaces the ones we lose – they all are eager to love, they all come with their own personalities and they all find their way into our hearts. No pet ever wants to see their people sad – so while it may be hard to think about getting another one right now – don’t wait too long either cause it sounds like you are exactly what some lucky little dog needs.

Mamaz – I can tell you with 100% certainty that this is not whole story to this tweet. Daniele followed up after reading more than the “It’s my B-Day” with another tweet back stating she wanted nothing to do with the tweeter and the message, she thought it was sick and asked to be left out it and not to cause more problems. I know this to be true because while lurking I read the whole tweet exchange Danielle had with this sicko with my own eyes as it was happening, the weirdo even sent it to Jacqueline. Danielle in this case can only be accused of not reading the whole tweet the first time, but she did in fact follow up with a second tweet and did NOT support it all.
One correction she is still tweeting with the scumbag so if can’t connect the dots and block him she deserves the bad press. But I know what I read before, for what it’s worth.

Guess I am not as excited about the NJ reunion as I was about the NY one. I doubt Teresa’s financial situation will be interesting cause Andy won’t ask any questions that will be answered. If there are lawsuits flying (Ashley, Teresa, Jacq, Danielle) there will be too many “no comments” with the I wish I could answer that. Caroline will get weepy about her kids. Lot’s of someone else made me do it and no responsibility taken for anything. Will have to turn it off if Ashley is there – no way will I watch her.

Alright, today I was at my favorite salon getting my beautiful highlights and lowlights and the conversation turned to RHONJ. So I had to ask about Teresa’s forehead….and abundance of face hair. First, she should get her eyebrows thinned so they don’t accentuate what little space is between them and her low hairline. Second, she should have a shorter style with faux bangs to hide what little forehead she has…and because her hair is thick, dark in color and wavy wearing it long with a middle part or pulling it back just brings attention to the catipillar eyebrows and low hairline. All present agreed that nothing can be done to make her appear less apelike.
And just for fun, I asked who hated Jill Zarin – 6 for 6!

Just throwing a thought out there(I need to be careful about throwing thoughts away..as am a natural blond)..could the reason the Dina disliking Danielle/Beverly is because she is one of those women Tommy Manzo admited to cheated on Dina with before they got married on that VH1 show?
It might explain Dina’s dislike of D/B, Tommy refusing to film…and D/B’s desire to be friends again with Dina during season 1.
It could also explain Carolines weird accusation/reaction during the reunion show. Also why Carolina and Dina, really didn’t want Jaq to be friends with D/B.
It also opens up the door for more of a reason why Dina quit the show, rather then the excuse she’s been running around giving about her exit.
Just a thought I needed to throw out there. But it’s just speculation on my part.

I would like to state for the record this is one of those I heard from a friend who heard from a friend kind of thing but here goes:
A friend of mine heard on the radio this morning that someone sent “Dirty D” a tweet asking her to say happy birthday to them because all they wanted for their birthday was Ashley to commit suicide and tape it. Apparently “Dirty D” replied with something along the lines of Happy Birthday Booo… Hope all your B-day wishes come true…
Has anyone else heard or seen any of this. I don’t tweet or twat so I didn’t see any of this….
