Oh Teresa, I can certainly see now why you were so critical of Bethenny when she lost her baby weight so quickly and why you’re so jealous of her. Obviously there will be some baby weight on Teresa only weeks after giving birth but that’s why you don’t wear skin tight clothing so soon after giving birth. Yikes!
I was actually glad to see Teresa’s kids taking Karate lessons, Karate is an excellent discipline for kids and teaches them respect and good values. Parents have to support those learning’s, however otherwise it isn’t going to take.
Danielle is actually doing the smart thing learning to defend herself and teaching her daughters the same. I’m not sure it was such a great idea to name her right and left punches after Teresa and Jacqueline while her children were there, but she does tell her girls everything and so far they seem to still be well-adjusted, smart, great kids so we’ll have to refer to Danielle’s judgment on that one.
I’m not sure why Jacqueline went over to Kim’s house to rehash the events at the fashion show, since Kim was clearly with Danielle that night. The more I watch this show, the more I know for a fact that scenarios are set up and even people are told where to go and when! If you ever doubted it, this show should wipe out all questions.
Teresa stopped by Posche’ shop in her ugly fur wrap and leopard print furry shirt to apologize to Kim D for fighting at her Fashion Show. Surprise! Kim G shows up! This isn’t a set up at all folks! Teresa’s interviews during this were absolutely disgusting, they’re the kind that makes you want to slap her! First to say, “Alls I want to say….” Teresa, “Alls” is not a word! As much as I cannot stand Kim G, for Teresa to call her “elderly” was rude! Not that I expect anything better from Teresa than improper English and being a bitch to people! Her interviews are most definitely scripted!
This was one of those scenes in Caroline’s kitchen that I do enjoy seeing, a family enjoying being together and laughing at breakfast. Why can’t these shows give us more of that? I’m afraid I did not feel bad for Albie as the others went off to get ready for work, there is no reason why he couldn’t pass the time while waiting for his fate by putting in a hard day’s work at his father’s business. Where does the money for law school come from? Maybe the time would have been better spent studying at whatever area he failed in his previous year at law school?
Teresa and Joe at the Pizza Parlor, what is with Teresa’s ugly outfits this episode, with the sweater sleeves hanging down to her knees and the sweater coming up revealing a fat ass, that outfit just did not work for her! OMG yuck! Joe and his freaky sweater looked better than his ugly wife! The apartment tour showed Teresa’s interview included a little “wink” when she said she would never live in that apartment. Chances are, someday she will be changing diapers right there in that spacious apartment!
Albie gets his letter from the law school that he wanted. Whether he got it because he threatened the school with a lawsuit or he actually deserved to have the 2-year required waiting period waived, I suppose it doesn’t matter, as I said before, we already know it all turns out fine because Caroline already told us it would months ago.
The big construction company owner turned Pizza place owner, Juicy Joe teaches the little rug-rats how to make a New York style pizza with soggy dough that sags when you pick it up…yuck! If he wants to have a successful pizza place, he should learn to make Chicago style pizza and he would have never had to file bankruptcy!
Caroline hosts the discussion about what will happen to Ashley when Danielle presses charges against her for pulling her hair. Ashley just thinks the whole thing is funny and spends the entire conversation with a shit-eating grin on her stupid face and giggling all the way home. The only redeeming factor should be that Caroline would give her a piece of her mind, but it never comes….Caroline actually defends Ashley! Anyone who believes that Ashley was “defending” her mother cannot see clearly and since Caroline wasn’t there, I will give her the benefit of the doubt but I lost a little bit of respect for Caroline during this episode.
Now it is Kim’s turn to visit Jacqueline, yet Jac makes a pathetic attempt to hesitate letting Kim into her home. This after the producers set up cameras to film the meeting between the two women, Jacqueline knew Kim was coming because she hit the hair and make up chair in her upstairs bathroom before opening the door and tell Kim that it is “uncomfortable”. This entire conversation is the biggest waste of time in the history of Housewives. Is this Jacqueline fighting for a friendship with Kim? She all but told Kim to pick a team, I wonder if Luann gave Jacqueline instructions on how to team up the housewives like that.
So this episode really was full of 60 minutes of absolutely nothing! Teresa’s really, really bad attire and scripted interviews, Jacqueline’s pathetic attempts to justify her daughter’s really, really bad behavior, Danielle’s sad attempt to glorify a hair pull into something rivaling a Rodney King beating and the two Kim’s acting like absolute fools in their obvious attempts at being the next New Jersey housewife to replace Dina.
I have found no redeeming qualities about this show this week….I continue to look for a way out of this mess! I sincerely look forward to the civility of the D.C. Housewives starting next month!

When Teresa and Joe were visiting that apt. I had a sad feeling of how ironic this picture would be for Joe watching it aired moths later. By the time it was filmed none of them were fully aware of how things would turn months later… Magazines reporting their bankcruptcy, demands, how irresposible they have been.
While Teresa does not show an ounce of humility… to me, Joe looks ashamed or he is just a quiet person… perhaps!
I really feel like Joe was trying to gently tell her that this would be her life someday. Someday soon.
Too bad he/they weren’t as considerate of the working people they stiffed out of part of their livelihood.

At the time it looked like their future home (Joe knows what is going down and either he doesn’t share it with Teresa or she is in denial) but this asset has likely been seized (unless they are not owners but limited partners).
They didn’t claim the apartments or pizza parlor in their filings so actually now they are in BIG trouble for that, even their bankruptcy attorney has called them out on it….
Tonight’s episode left me cold. As did WTFWIT…(What The Fok Was I Thinking) post NJ show.
WWHL was really a bore….I realize that RHONJ is on air but guests other than those wives would be at least interesting….Jeff was going for humor and Daniel was already practicing her legally can’t say statements that will dominate the reunion.

Ha. another Danielle lie. Danielle was having tea with the Boys from the Hood and discussing the boxing lesson. She said that she didnt’ like to sweat. She runs every day and takes her girls with her. She has her own gym and we saw her working out in the first introduction to NJ. I’d say Danielle is an exercise fanatic.
I watched her daughters at that boxing lesson. Neither girl looked comfortable. How can that father let this go on? At least, he should try for half custody and get them out of that mess for 50 % of their lives.
I hope you pay yourself time & a half for suffering through NJ so we won’t have to.

A pizzeria is a cash business—that means Joe the Stumpy Crook doesn’t have to ring up every sale—“one for me, one for the IRS….” However, his plans have no been thwarted as the bankruptcy trustee now knows about the pizzeria that they failed to disclose…and they are in “deep dish” trouble! They may be denied the protection of the bankruptcy court–and if no bankruptcy is declared, then they will lose everything, the debts will not be discharged…and they will be paying off that $11M for the rest of theirs lives—as well they should! There may be criminal charges coming, as well. Gosh, I’m positively gleeful about that! With the world watching (and this show is shown around the world) the message needs to be sent that the Giudices will not get away with it!

I wonder if they ever thought to have Ashley tested when she was in school? She really seems to be rather slow, there’s just something off about her. Did anyone see Wendy Williams show today? Two young ladies in the audience got up and stated that one of their friends was on the RHONJ and since being on the show she had gotten a big head and pretty much dropped them; they wanted to know what they could do to bring her back down to earth. They never said her name and Wendy never asked who they were referring to but I’m sure we don’t need three guesses who the big head friend is. I believe that stuff Danielle said about Ashley coming to her for advice and how she felt out of place in the family but as long as they keep making excuses for her I’m sure she’ll eventually end up on the pole.
LOL—the “big head” was certainly a clue—literally and figuratively! Richard Lawson calls her “Puffin Stuff” in his column on Gawker…and sometimes he simply calls her “Hat.” It’s obvious the girl has a very low IQ…she doesn’t seem to be able to handle the simplest concepts….it’s not just bratty teen behavior. She’s a big, dopey, doughy girl. I think the boyfriend is fed up with her stupidity, too.
It really was quite a boring show. And the WWHL was a disaster, too. Danielle is a boring guest, period. And I was surprised at Jeff—I had high expectations for the show—but it got off to the wrong foot with Andy and Jeff insulting one another and it never recovered. The best WWHLs were the ones were there were celebrity guests…not the RH cast members. You blew it, Andy!
Ashley’s disability is laziness and parents who didn’t make her apply herself while she was in school! No consequences for bad grades, etc – no value on education. If they pulled the money plug and enforced house rules it would be a different set of issue. Tough love isn’t giving someone a car or paying for them to live somewhere else! I found it telling that she looked to Danielle for attention (to get her to school on time – sounds like she was likely in the same school as Danielle’s kids at the time) since she wasn’t getting it at home.

Yes. RHONJ is deplorable. But I will be turning in next week to see if Danielle’s ex-husband and father of her children appear! I think that was him! It is what it is. I’m already invested in this series.
As to last night’s episode, I agree that Caroline lost my respect but to be fair, she never really had it. I do like the scenes with her family though. And I wish Ashley could see that even though Caroline doesn’t like Danielle, her kids don’t make it a part of their daily lives like it seems Ashley does. THAT GIRL IS COMPLETELY OBSESSED WITH DANIELLE. And it’s becoming pathetic and scary. The scene where she sat with her boyfriend talking about how Danielle already has new extensions in and how expensive it was. Like, WTF?? How is that any of your business, dear deluded teenage girl? And why do you care who Danielle sleeps with? And why would you assume she’s sleeping with someone to put extensions in? Danielle lives in a house that cost over $1 million. No matter what she says, she is not poor or hurting for money. And if she was married to a wealthy guy, I’m pretty certain she has a sizable sum “stashed” away! She’s no idiot. This scene also showed that her hatred of Danielle comes from listening to her mom and the other women continually trash Danielle. And by doing so, she’s proving Danielle right when it comes to Jacqueline’s parenting skills. Her daughter is out of control and she doesn’t seem to care. Weighing what Danielle did 25 years ago to what Ashley did is irrelevant. Stop focusing so much on Danielle and try to guide Ashley. That’s your job.
There’s nothing more I can say about Teresa the pig. Is it proven that they are actually auctioning her items? I might drive over to NJ for that! LOL! Kim G is right that Teresa has violent impulses and need to control herself. Two seasons and two times she’s going off like an animal. Once is a mistake, but twice is habit! For all the concern that people have over the kids of the show, has anyone expressed any for Teresa’s girls? Teresa has proven to be violent!
One more thing I noticed over the season, there are a lot of scenes with Danielle doing stuff with her fam. And Teresa as well. But the few scenes with Jacqueline and the Manzos all revolve around them talking about Danielle. Even the poker night and dinner scenes. They have really made Danielle the “Erica Kane” of RHONJ. There’s just no show without her!
I agree with you about Caroline , Ashley and Theresa. But I think Danielle is probably deeply in debt herself. Her home needed a lot of work. She spends a lot of money without a job and was constantly whining in season one that the ex was aways late with the child support.
Not sure about the debt and I think she didn’t wanted to repair the home without her ex-husband’s financial help since he owned half of it. I also believe she got/is getting 10K a month in child support and alimony. From what I’ve read, her ex is loaded so you know she got a nice settlement and probably saved up quite a bit when she had access to his funds.
Danielle has always admitted to being in debt. She said she owed over $25,000 to Neiman Marcus, alone.
I actually don’t see her spending a lot of money. I think she gets a lot of freebies just like the rest of the women do.
And I would whine a lot if my ex were late with child support… But, I would also work but that doesn’t make her complaint any less valid.
And she obviously got money from her book and various other things that have come about from being on the show.
I respected that she was upfront about her money issues unlike Teresa who made it a point to always say that at least she has money unlike Danielle when in fact, T seems to have more debt than Danielle does.
About the auction of the Giudice assets. Here’s the deal. The auction would have been under the auspices of the bankruptcy trustee in order to get cash to pay off the creditors. However, since the trustee has now filed a motion to have the bankruptcy petition dismissed for fraud, if the motion to dismiss is granted, then there will be no bankruptcy and therefore no auction, as the trustee will no longer have any control over the assets. So we have to see what happens with the motion that was recently filed by the trustee. I haven’t read that the judge took any action on it.
If the Giudices are thrown out of bankruptcy court, they will not have their debts discharged and each and every creditor that has a judgment against them can execute the judgment by hiring a sheriff to seize assets to pay off the judgment. First come, first served. So it is basically a rush to get a judgment against them and grab the goods. There are already judgments granted and there will not be enough assets to pay off everyone, so they will never get out from underneath that debt. They will be paying for the rest of their lives, with interest, as well they should!
It’s going to be very interesting to see how this plays out.
IMO, they filed Chap 7 Bankruptsy to stall the foreclosure and the lawsuits associated with the mansion’s construction. Because the trustee filed a suit that they lied under oath, it is clear that bankruptsy will not be granted (can’t find where T&J appealed any ruling) and all legal suits/foreclosure are moving forward. The auction is only part of what they will have to do to satisfy their outstanding debt – by filing bankruptsy all assets go into the pot and more are being identified since the initial filing – which make them fair game too! Because their “income” comes from both identified and unidentified sources and is higher than what they stated they will land on their feet once the debt as stated is discharged. They tried to work the system and they failed – and worse they are now caught…..
The filing of bankruptcy stays all action against the Giudices. And, yes, they filed to stop enforcement of the judgment granted to his business partner and the pending foreclosures. So everything is stayed unless and until the judge rules in favor of the trustee’s pending motion and throws out the bankruptcy. Nothing can move forward until then. If the trustee’s motion is denied, then the bankruptcy will go forward as well as the auction. However, there will not be any auction if their bankruptcy is thrown out, as the trustee will no longer have any control over their assets. It will be a free for all for their creditors. They will have to pay off their debt to any creditor that gets a judgment against them and enforces it. For example, say I am a creditor of the Giudices in the amount of $50,000. If I get a judgment against them and hire a sheriff, I can seize some or all of their property to satisfy the debt. So what does that mean? Well, it means that I can seize property and sell it…if I sell it for less than the $50,000, they still owe me the balance of the $50,000 that remains. When I do seize their property, I must sell it fairly. For example, I can’t take one of those new $7500 couches and sell it for $100. That would be unreasonable. But under the circumstances, $1500 might be reasonable, so in that case, I would have seized an asset they paid $7500 for but only have reduced their debt to me by $1500. So you can see how the seizing of and liquidation of their assets won’t satisfy all the creditors…and he who gets there first, gets the most. Due to their blatant attempt to defraud the bankruptcy court, they are now faced with a lifetime of paying back the $11M plus interest. If I were them, I’d be on a slow boat back to Italy…uh, make that a fast boat!

I haven’t looked at the court documents but its likely the Trustee has filed a 523 or 727 action against the Giudices to deny them a discharge in bankruptcy. However, he is still likely to proceed to liquidate any assets that are available in order to make a distribution to the creditors. That is the Trustee’s function in a Chap. 7 bankruptcy. Once a Chap. 7 bankruptcy is filed, the Trustee “stands in the shoes” of the debtor and its unlikely that he/she would have the case dismissed and simply turn any available assets back over to the debtors/Giudices.
But Flippy, it is inconsistent to have the bankruptcy dismissed and still have a distribution to creditors…you can’t have it both ways. The trustee will lose his control over the assets if the bankruptcy is dismissed. So everything will be on hold until the judge rules on the motion to dismiss filed by the trustee.
The motion filed by the Trustee is not to dismiss the case, its to deny the debtors a discharge.
@ Capiche–I have no respect for Caroline. She wants to come off as the voice of reason yet she scolds and defends Ashley at the same time. I think Caroline is full of hot air and I’m sick of listening to her crooked opinions.

Caroline would never be in the same situation with her kids. Do you see Caroline hanging out with the “elderly” Kim who was with Danielle and Danny when Danny called Chris a f*ggot?
Jacqueline knows that Kim is starting trouble by instigating things, yet she still hangs out with her. She knows that Kim was the one who told Danielle to call the police on Ashley in the first place and have her arrested, yet Jacqueline still hangs out with Kim. Does that make sense?
Caroline is laughing at Ashley and thanking God that Ashley is not her child.
I also noticed that in one of her THs, Caroline said and I paraphrase “Ashley calls me ‘Aunt Caroline.'” I thought that was interesting…as if to say, she calls me Auntie but I’m not really.
I actually saw that as Caroline trying to say that she didn’t know Ashley until she was a child and already down the road she is on now. I suspect she thinks if she and Chris was involved with her from day one then Ashely would have turned out different. Perhaps I read too much into it, but I am certain that Caroline doesn’t put much stock into Jac’s parenting skills.
Excellent point – Caroline’s kids are not engaging or antagonizing Danielle – good parenting and likely severe consequences if they did.
I am wondering if Albie junior already burned his Brownstone bridge with his dad….I agree he should have gone to work with the others because his dad did state it was a very busy day and the help would have been appreciated. Caroline didn’t encourage Albie junior to go so I think that subject was off limits due to prior experiences.
Caroline said The Brownstone wasn’t Albie’s thing, whatever that means? She also said, if he worked there he would feel like he’s running to Daddy… that’s the way I took it, and it’s BULLSHIT! Albie’s no better than the rest. It wouldn’t hurt him to work at The Brownstone to make extra money even if he goes to Law School in New Jersey!
He’s 23 years old… he should have at least a part-time job somewhere. Does he depend on Caroline and Albert for gas money, car insurance, dating money, whatever his EXTRA needs are?
I re-watched the episode where Albie told Caroline he was dismissed from Law School. He explained his “disability” to his mother which I found very odd. Wouldn’t Caroline already know what his disability is? After Albie said he had a “learning disability”, he then explained to Caroline that he had to read everything several times… Caroline said on her camera interview that it was “like” ADD, but she didn’t say Albie had ADD!
Hiring a lawyer to get into another Law School instead of waiting 2 years like everybody else has to because he failed is WRONG if he doesn’t have a TRUE disability…
Albie is the golden child of the family. He can do no wrong. Thinking back on season one when Caroline & Albert were talking to their daughter about beauty school, Albie was all in the conversation and was making fun of her intelligence. Heck they all were. It all seemed like a big joke when Chris (is that his name, and why am I remembering this?) wanted to open a strip club. It’s like Albie is the white collar child and the other two are blue collar workers.
The sceen with Teresa brushing her daughters hair so violently reminded me of my mom doing that to me when I was a child. I guess it just happens when you aren’t paying attention to what you are doing or maybe it was a reflection of Teresa’s anger in general. Anywho……did ya’ll notice almost everytime they show Jaqueline she is chewing? It would be funny to put together snapshots of all the times she is eating.
@Vici–Lol about Jacqueline always eating. A while ago I posted about Jac always stuffing her face and within an hour she was on tweeter explaining why she eats, her love of food, etc. She wrote on tweeter that she sorry she offends people but didn’t write it in a nice way. It was more like “if you don’t like it, tuff”.

Not sure which I am more disgusted with: last night’s NJ show or myself for watching this piece of trash.
Each scene is a set up. No other way around it. How is it that the camera just happens to be there when Kim G shows up all over the place. Once at her house, once at Posche, once at Jacqueline’s, once at the court hearing. SET UP! Just to keep the ball rolling while this two faced monster is allowed to spread her brand of hypocrisy all over Franklin Lakes. Too, too convenient.
Is there anything more boring than watching Caroline getting breakfast for her grown up brood and sending them out to work? Is there anything more boring than watching Juicy Joe make a pizza when we know now what a lying fraud he is and that this venture had been withheld from the bankruptcy suit? Is there anything even yet more boring by trying to “soften up” his image than watching him pretend to take the kids for martial arts lessons as they beat the crapola out of one another for laughs? Is there anymore more boring segments of Danielle “preparing” to defend herself while that cretin Danny looks on? Is there anything more frustrating than watching Trashley “act”? Even scenes with Derek were downright boring and you could see the same reaction from his face alone!
This series has come to the end of the road. There is absolutely no sense beyond trashing Danielle and watching this “family” act holier than thou in order to get face time with the cameras. If I am not mistaken, even Trashley has been awarded time with announcing the “stay tuned” part of the series, granting her that extra nudge of being called a “star”. Enough with this dimwit already!
How can they possibly go forward with yet another season? What’s left? They have beaten to death the Danielle hate for all it is worth. The Guidice’s have been exposed for the frauds they are. Danielle cannot get any lower in the morals department than she already is. The two Kim’s are despicable with their back and forth “allegiance”. Chris Laurita is in bankruptcy as well and may have to sell off his gun collection that Jacqueline was unaware of. Albie’s whining is getting on my last nerve and Trashley has shown what an immature dolt she is often enough to make my skin crawl. Bravo needs to pull the plug since whatever storyline they may be considering revolves around a group of morons with criminal tendencies, especially when showcasing Danny Pro as a sounding board for insane Danielle.
It is difficult to imagine any series sinking as low as this one in their quest for ratings. Danielle admitting that she is really “the villain” last night on Andy Cohen’s show leads me to believe that this is all just a total set up from start to finish. Fine by her as long as the money and the opportunities roll in to make even more. Senseless trash brought to the viewer by way of people willing to present themselves as just that.
I almost liked Kim G last night. ALMOST. At least she was honest with Jacq and Theresa about still being friends with Danielle. And that Ashley deserved to be punished for assaulting Danielle. But she blew it when she told Jacq that by the time Ashley went to court she probably wouldn’t be friends with Danielle anymore. Then I remembered oh yeah, this is all plotted out. If not by Bravo then at least by the Kims. Danielle has served her purpose. The Kims are a staple on the show this season. Time to dump her and get on camera next season by being friends with Jacq and Theresa!
Which is pretty much what Jacq did last year. Her controversial friendship with Danielle got her lots of screen time in season one. But she would have had to do serious harm to her relationship with Dina and Caroline to maintain it. So she switches allegiances and tada, lots of Jacq on season two.
So it looks like Danielle is no longer friends with either Kim! I guess we will see this in the remaining few episodes. By the way the exterior of Kim G’s house is awesome but what’s with that kitchen and yucky wallpaper?
And what’s up with Kim D’s lips? I hate to pick on a person for their apperance but her mouth is so weird!
IMO both Kims were given the task of bridging the gap between the two camps – no one could do that! Their failure isn’t because of their attempts to get everyone in a scene together – it just can’t happen! So we get filler kids doing some nice things and some very not nice things – that is not what we want to watch but the producers have to fill the timeslot! This show wouldn’t even be interesting if it was only a half hour….this particular cast didn’t bring it!
You are absolutely right, Olivia. This show has no more story line left—been there, done that. How do they “top” the assault and hair pulling? Next step is a more harmful physical assault and they can NOT, MUST NOT go there. I think the Caroline family scenes are as boring as hell—and don’t even get me started on the Albie-Mommy thing! Did you see the look on Albert’s face when Albie and Mommy were talking about Caroline possibly going to an out of state law school with him? Good god! This show is done—stick a forchetta in it!

After four kids, she understandably had a little post-pregnancy weight to deal with, but after all the credit cards girlfriend abused, surely she could have done herself up better than that. At least while the cameras were present.
I was just watching B’s wedding episode again in the background as I was working. They took the song out! Ya know the “everythings gonna be alright”? It’s replaced with some elevator music!! Sure makes everyone singing along look silly now. If someone gets a chance, watch that part on Bravo.com and see if it is the same for you. Rats! I was gonna sing along too!
I noticed that – during one of the viewings (I think I’ve seen that episode about 5-6 times now) sometimes its on in the background. In one of the airings I noticed the song “No One” wasn’t played but then the next time I saw the episode it WAS played, there must be 2 versions and possibly they sometimes don’t play the song to save them some money. We know that Bravo is all about the money and everytime they play that song, it costs them.

I agree with you . Discipline and karate are great for kids. I was wondering while watching last night , if the girls had private lessons. Thankfully, I don’t think any other kids were there. Towards the end of the ‘lesson’ the girls had turned the whole thing into a hair pulling, pushing, free for all. With daddy standing by proudly, egging them on and smiling. I thought it was a sad commentary.
I don’t know, maybe nothing this Jersey ‘crew’ does or will do will ever have me seeing them in a favorable light.
Actually, Lynn, both of my sons took karate and the sensei (doctor/teacher) told the boys and parents that fighting was not the purpose of training. The training was for your mind and control. Even at the meets, the instructors monitored the boys and girls. The rules of engagement were enforced. Joe telling them to fight like that was incorrect. I’m sure other moms on this site who have had this experience will back me up on this.
Martial arts dojos are a dime a dozen. Some are wonderful and take seriously the idea of respecting yourself and others. At these schools sparring is not a joke. It is well supervised.
Some schools are belt factories. Their main goal is to make money. They push the kids through awarding belts just to keep them coming back.
The “sparring” showed last night has as much to do with martial arts as Theresa has with fiscal responsibilty.

I agree with the first part of your comment. I disagree with the portion after the “but.” I’ve seen so many “well adjusted” children end up in left field because of their parents’ behaviors. An adult should never involve children in arguments that don’t pertain to them.
I remember holding grudges agains people whom my mother had disagreements with, and at the end, I could not remember what the initial disagreement was. I think Danielle is a poor role model for her girls. HER CHILDREN SHOULD NOT BE EXPOSED to her whackiness.

As for Juicy Joe, evil though he may be, I felt a little sorry for him as he toured his pizzaria with Teresa. Something tells me he’d be perfectly happy living in those apartments above the biz. But can you imagine having to tell THAT woman that the money has run out?

Does anyone notice how Theresa’s kids talk to her? Not very respectful. They basically ignore her as their level of “whine” reaches such heights that she gives in to any and all demands. Almost every scene where these kids are featured they are shown misbehaving to a large extent while she indulges their every whim and tantrum.
Jacqueline’s parenting of Trashley speaks for itself. An overindulged monster whose mother makes excuses more so out of guilt for past parental errors. I have a feeling that Trashley never really had her mother’s attention and it is payback time for the neglect in that Trashley loves the attention, good or bad, that she is getting from this show. Pathetic.
Bad parenting, questionable finances, poor role models, and ignorant people do not make for good t.v. no matter how much lipstick they put on the pig.
I am still venting here but what was that all about with Andy Cohen last night? There sat Danielle, basically mute, while that “grinning gargoyle” spend 30 minutes making lousy jokes while the rest of us waited to hear her answer some questions. Except for that stupid “table top” dance she performed, she was essentially silent throughout.
Why not give us the lowdown on the Kim G “friendship” that seems to be no more? Answering “Kim who?” in her cute little way was frustrating. We all see Kim G for what she is and I am sure the Manzo’s view in the same light regardless of whether she has now declared herself on their side. After all this woman purposely inserted herself into the series as a female Othello.

The highlight was the humor of Jeff Lewis. He gets right to the point every single time. He and Bethenny have a lot in common.

The right guests make all the difference in the world! Danielle is a horrible guest and was just on WWHL – so she was the first guest (big deal) and they were celebrating the show’s one year mark – they could have brought on other people who would have made both the current NJ drama and the birthday interesting! Jeff had no one to interact with and was clearly there to have fun! Andy is so off his game.
And what’s with WWHL? Did someone hold a gun to Danielle’s head to get her to go on that show? That’s how she was acting. And poor Jeff Lewis was probably sitting there thinking, “Wow. This is awkward. Why I am here?”

Ashley’s world must of been so insignificant before this show. Where are her girlfriends? What did she do before all the hate? Being the same age as her, (-1 yr) I don’t understand this. If I didn’t have the circumstances that I do with my mother being sick I’d be out having a blast. I’m not complaining by any means. I’m more than blessed that my mother is here. I do compare Ashley to my friends thou. Most of my friends are in school full time, working, traveling, going to concerts. Doing normal fun stuff. None of us have the perfect life. We all have problems, worries and money situations, which I’m sure Ashley does too. What I don’t understand is why she chose hate to add to every day problems in life. She must of felt very left out before she realized her ticket in the Manzo family was hating Danielle. Her “in” was hate. She must of wanted to “be somebody” and to be acknowledged so badly. She’s allowed her life to revolve around hate when she had a million other choices. The sad thing is that if Jacqueline and Chris got divorced I doubt Ashley would ever hear from any of the Manzos.
My guess is that she was the product of a teen marriage that did not last. She was probably left with Jacqueline’s parents while Jacqueline earned a living to support them. I also saw where she lived for awhile with her biological father which set up her living between several different homes during her growing up period.
When she came to NJ she did not fit in with the school crowd who gave her a bad time. Not sure where I read this. Then it appears that the Manzo’s did not at first accept her mother into the fold. Now the t.v. series comes up and she feels she has found a place to “shine” by adding to the drama and hoping to be accepted by them as she busily “defends” them against wicked, evil Danielle.
This kid is in over her head because she is fighting for acceptance from any quarter she can get it. A little warped thinking, yes, but understandable when you have been shunted around from one family to another during your early development. It was only recently that she moved out of Derek’s home and back with her mother. She is rootless which does not allow her to grow or achieve.
This series is providing her a lifeline for the moment. Sad.

Ashley doesn’t have anything because all she was given were material things! She has no reason to get an education, to set goals, to be mature or to be just plain respectful to her parents or be nice in general! Jacq isn’t as much a parent as a friend to her – she has never had consequences (and maybe even positive attention) and she isn’t mature (Jacq got that right!). This show is the perfect vehicle for Ashley – it plays to all her immaturity and negative energies! You don’t understand that, none of us understand that and sadly, her family doesn’t understand that either!

The only other Bravo blog up is Caroline’s, and she interestingly also says something like “I don’t know the reality of their financial situation so I don’t feel comfortable talking about it” (BULL, she is just covering her butt until their situation is all played out in court). Right now Caroline is the ONLY Housewife who appears to be in good shape financially. Why is Teresa still deny, denying TODAY nevermind what was filmed months ago on the show her dire straits? Is no one at her so successful book signings asking about the garage sale? I just find it hard to believe. I also can’t believe I picked up the issue of In Touch which again should have been shelved which featured the house, with NO comments about how this house was built fraudulently. It must piss off their creditors SO much to see features like this and scenes like last night, Teresa snootily walking through the pizzeria (did it actually open, someone must know out there) and apartments. Really ridiculous.

Love the blog Lynn! This is my first time posting but I do read the blog often.
After watching last night’s episode I am praying this is the last season of NJ Housewives. I think that Bravo realized how little they had to work with this season and just started making up new storylines as they went along. I really commend Dina for leaving now. Maybe she saw what the show was becoming and felt it was just not worth it to stick around. I also like Caroline much more this season, even though I expected her to slam Ashley she has stayed out of the day to day Danielle drama that is fueling Jac and Teresa’s lives. Albie and the Law school drama is just another example of a storyline made up as the filmed. The cast never tells the ending of the storylines (this is why the “FIGHT” has been three episodes long!) but Caroline mentioned months ago it all worked out in the end. I do love to see her with her family and I thought maybe the show had a chance at salvation when they showed her with her sisters….alas no. Just more Danielle and how much they hate her, she’s a horrible mother, she’s a coke whore etc and so forth.
*Hangs head in shame* I used to really like Teresa and I even bought her book (it was a good book too). Now that she has been revealed for the bully she is I can’t stand her and her “I’m better than you” behavior. That book was most certainly written entirely by her co-author. I think she told the funny stories and cleaned up her language but Teresa cannot put a coherent sentence together much less write a book. I feel sorry for Joe sometimes because it looks as if he can see the end coming but he’s putting on a happy face for his family. My advice to Joe is to never do anything else illegal and include T because she’s as dumb as a box of rocks. Dumber than Lynn Curtain dumb!

I watched WWHL (not the NJ episode thought) and I have to say that I thought it was hilarious the way Danielle treated Andy.
Andy is completely hypocritical and has treated Danielle very poorly. He clearly sides with the Manzos and co. and takes cheap shots at Danielle whenever he can. Interesting, because without Danielle, the show would get ZERO ratings.
So, I was happy to see Danielle make Andy feel uncomfortable. She’s already answered many of those questions in other interviews but people hate her so much that they forget and tend to focus on how ugly she is or whatever it is that people dislike about her. I was laughing out loud throughout the whole show.
Danielle knows that she is being exploited by BRAVO and especially by Andy without repeaping the same benefits as the other women. She doesn’t get to do the same press tours, the same endorsements, the same parties, etc. as the other women because they refuse to spend time with her. That emphasizes the Us vs. Danielle gang mentatlity and Andy plays right along with that and I don’t think it’s fair, at all. Danielle brings the ratings, Andy! No matter how much you may dislike her, you have to admit that she is the show.
Yet, Andy thinks it is okay to treat her with contempt and try to embarrass her, all the while kissing the Manzos and especially Teresa’s No-Head Guidice’s asses?
Andy looked like an asshole to me last night, not Danielle. Andy is an asshole. And apparently he is a lush. A smug, lush asshole. lol

Yes Danielle is aware that she is being exploited. But she as much as said last night that she’s ok with it. She said it was a great job. So I don’t feel sorry for her. If she is willing to whore herself out as the villanous slut of the show then she has to accept the derision of her castmates, Andy and the public. It’s part of that great job.
I don’t think she wants to be the villain, though. I think that is what she is made to be. Does it make sense that two weeks ago on WWHL, the poll said that Danielle started the fight when it was clearly started by Teresa? Danielle is a villain but she takes some unfair shots and the public just hates her, for the most part.

I did not watch RHONJ last night on purpose but I did catch pieces of WWH. Did Dirty-D get more facial plastic surgery? She is loosing weight or something because her face looks nasty-gaunt. Anyway the pieces that I did see: Andy asking Dirty-D if she thought Dina was pretty was pretty shitty. Bravo/Andy is straight up setting up and provoking these women but to their credit these women play into it. Now Jeffy giving Dirty-D money for a dance was gross but I will move on because I love him. I did see Jeffy also making a couple of remarks that “knowing” him and how he interacts with his own cast was trying to start shit. But to know Jeff much like Bethenny is to love them. I think that’s why you can root for both because what you see is what you get; each pushing their business on tv but they also show their true personalities.
Andy mentioned that Danielle was rolling her eyes about Jenny’s song. Why would she do that?
Dirty-D IS a hater. She isn’t the type of person to feel good for someone else’s success. I just had a thought…I think this is what Jill Zarin would become if she didn’t have Bobby because she can’t be happy for someone else’s success either. Truly pathetic.

I wish I knew where I read this before, but I seem to remember reading how Danielle and the Manzo’s came to be.
Apparently Jacqueline and Danielle met at the beauty parlor about a year before the series even began. They became friends and Jacqueline “confided” in Danielle about her problems with the Manzo family. But apparently, for awhile at least, Danielle was included in some of the Manzo functions. Remember back to Season 1 and Danielle was “dating” Steve. He was a friend of Theresa and Joe if memory serves. In fact, there was something else I read somewhere that one of the reasons Joe turned on them was that one day he caught Danielle and Steve in his family room going at it hot and heavy in front of the kids.
Also, there is an episode in Season 1 where Jacqueline, Chris, Joe, Steve, Theresa, and Danielle are dining out and Danielle was about to “break up” with Steve. So there was at one time a connection of sorts.
My guess is that either Danielle “confided” her past to Jacqueline who then told the Manzo’s which led to a “google” search of her past, or someone from the area let the family know where they could find information on her because it is now apparent that she has lived in that area for sometime and it was never an issue beforehand. It is not as if she had dropped out of the sky because she and her ex husband have been a part of Wayne, NJ for awhile. My money is on Jacqueline telling the Manzo’s and Dina went to town with the google search and the book became known. I also think this explains Danielle’s so called “obsession” with Dina since I believe it was Dina who started the rumor, not Caroline.
A “feud” developed from that and here we are.
You are right that Jacqueline and Danielle were friends first and Jacqueline confided a lot in Danielle about her problems with the Manzos. This is one of the reasons why I think Jacqueline and the Manzos hates Danielle so much. They are trying to blame her for their own internal family problems, when in fact they existed prior to Danielle’s involvement (D, no doubt, exacerbated the problems and took joy out of doing so but they existed already). Last year, Dina kept saying that she couldn’t believe that J was taking sides with D and betraying the family and Caroline kept saying that J was hurting C and D’s parents because of her betrayal. Whatever, C….
I think that Teresa confided in Danielle about the Manzos, as well and that is why she hates Danielle so much. There is really no reason why T should hate D as much as she does unless it’s because D knows things….
I think that Danielle and Dina have known each other for years and Danielle has always had a love/hate relationship with Dina but you can tell that Danielle really thought they were the same kind of people and really wanted to be best friends/sisters. Dina, not so much.
I think that the someone in the Manzos researched the book and told everyone but I think prior to that, Dina was spreading rumors/gossiping about Danielle. She admitted it during the Last Supper dinner.
It’s interesting that the people who seem to hate Danielle the most this season (T and J) really don’t have legitimate problems with her. Even Dina doesn’t hate Danielle that much and she seems to have the most reason to, imo.

Yes. But, now T is saying that isn’t true but if you look at episodes from last year, T says that Joe hooked Steve up with Danielle.
Exactly. I think that Jacqueline gave Danielle plenty of insight into how that family operates and when the “book” became a topic of conversation, Danielle felt betrayed. I also think a lot of talk was floating around that beauty salon prior to the filming of the show and both sides were equally involved. Each one took the opportunity to “slam” one another and it escalated from there.
I would bet my house on the fact that Jacqueline in her own way instigated much of this “revelation” in as much as she was friendly with Danielle who has a habit of becoming “friends” with people who just say hello. Jacqueline in turn more than likely fed the information to Dina who ran with it. It seems obvious that before she became “friends” with Danielle, none of the Manzo’s were aware of her past. I think Danielle chose to confide that in Jacqueline which may account for Jacqueline’s reluctance to part ways with Danielle regardless of how much the Manzo’s pushed. She felt the sting of guilt.
We may not have seen this bit of “violence” on film, but does anyone remember the Reunion Show where it was mentioned that Jacqueline threw a punch at Caroline?
If I remember correctly, Jacqueline had just given birth to CJ and asked Chris to babysit so she could have some time alone for a change. When she came home, Caroline was there and criticized her for expecting Baby Brother Chris to take care of the baby!
Jacqueline became irritated and words were said which led her to belt Caroline on the arm. It was discussed but we were assured that it was all over and forgotten. It appears that Jacqueline deeply resented Caroline’s usual butting into things.
And there was more of a relationship between Theresa and Danielle than T acts like now.
This is what really bugs me about the Manzo clique. J and T were friends with D for about a year before filming began. Do they expect me to believe that they didn’t know what kind of person she was before the show? I doubt if her behavior changed very much between the time they all met and the time they started shooting. Danielle is trashy, tacky, needy and very possesive of her friends. And apparently they were ok with that for a whole year. Then the cameras turn on and their not? I value loyalty in a person. None of these “woman” know the meaning of the word.
I don’t think Jacqueline knew the extent of Danielle’s past. I think that last year J was very truthful when she said that D and C called her over to gossip about the book. It seemed like J didn’t even care about D’s past unless it would start to directly affect her life (aka D trying to steal her husband or kidnap her kids). That is a direct quote from J.

She may not have known about her past but the phone sex with strangers, rumours all over town about Danielle and married men, the way she brings men into her children’s lives. These would have been more than enough to make me back away from a friendship with her. They liked her just fine until the cameras started rolling. Were they afraid she would steal the show?

I wonder about the mysticism going on in NJ, NYC, and LA. “Flipping Out,” all of the real housewive shows, and “Selling NYC” have exorcisms and people with crystal balls. It’s shocking to see these wealthy supposedly educated people paying for someone to carry a candle around a million dollar plus house.
My favorite was Ally lying on a table at the weight loss clinic having a woman take a candle over her ear in circles for 5,000 dollars per week. She lost 11 lbs ( of water and cleansed material.) That’s 454.45 dollars per pound and I bet some of that came back after Ally drank a glass of water.
There’s a dark side to Danielle religious fevor. She wears crosses, but the chain places them right between her breasts. Take a look at last night’s outfit on WWHL. Somehow our good Catholic girl, Danielle, has her faith mixed up with her sexuality. Some people play those games in the bedroom, she lives that game.
Other wives wear the crosses as jewelry. Ramona and Dina wear them to match outfits. Perhaps, that is the Italian influence. The cross represents spirituality to me. There is a darkness to Danielle’s use of the cross that bothers me.
When I saw the whole candle in the ear episode I thought the same thing. They do the same thing in Mexico for other reason but it was nothing to do with weight loss. If you want to loose weight you have to eat healthy and/or work out, period. You can have a variety of health ailments but that is the only way you will loose weight. Jill regretted sharing this on season 1 but its too late.

I actually find Dina’s “spiritualism” more creepy than Danielle’s. Dina wears those crosses that hang in her cleavage, as well. Dina’s home is filled with creepy crosses, Buddhas, crystals, paintings of Saints, etc. It’s strange and doesn’t really reflect Dina’s “pure soul” as much as she would like to believe.
Dina is like the crazy old lady who was loose when she was a young lady and now tries to spend the rest of her life repenting for her past transgressions by surrounding herself with religious paraphernalia and extolling the virtue of mysticism and God, all of the time.
Her charity seems so forced to me. And I think she relies on her sexuality to get most of what she wants, all the while wearing a cross in her cleavage and crystal bracelets next to her Gold Rolex and diamond tennis bracelets.
I don’t know. I just find Dina’s “spirituality” and “charitable” image as being very forced. I think she is the type to throw stones and hide her hand behind her back or her family. She seems to be…forced. Not at all genuine.

I have to respectfully disagree about the cross as jewelry….it’s iconic, not necessarily religious….a crucifix is quite different. Crosses as jewelry have been popular as far back as I can remember. When I wear a cross (not a crucifix) I don’t wear it necessarily as a display of religious belief, although one may draw a conclusion. I have quite collection of crosses and I proudly wear them–“cleavelage” or not!

The expert took the image and somehow made a 3-D image of Jesus’ face and body. I don’t know if it really is what Jesus looks like but when scientists say the shroud is the nexus of science and faith and a miracle they can’t explain, well, it was an amazing show. “amazing” in a real way, not the Kelly way which takes all meaning from the word 😀

As a true Catholic, I am deeply offended by the casual use of Rosaries. A Rosary is used in a religeous ritual. It is NEVER to be used for adornment. Chris wore one, Teresa wore one in the hospital and has one hanging from her rear-view mirror. This is truly wrong and offensive to anyone for whom a Rosary is a religious icon.

I didn’t watch last night. I started p90x and I have to get a fair amount of sleep before getting up at 6 a.m. to work out. The Manzo’s were not worth my rest. I cam tell by this recap, Lynn that I didn’t miss much. This show went downhill fast. Everyone hates Danielle and tune in next week when everyone will hate Danielle some more.

Bethenny was TERRIFIC. Guest hosts on this deteriorating show always have a difficult time speaking because of all the loud mouth cross talk. They shout like fishwives yelling at each over the backyard laundry lines.
Bethenny was poised, engaged, acted like she was genuinely interested in all the guests – didnt clutch those cheat sheet blue cards like life lines. Thought of things out of her own head – in the moment . Didn’t act like the other 4 puppets . You know they all are fed lines/ questions in their EFP earpieces from the misogynist producer, Bill Geddie, like idiots. They do ZERO prep – except makeup and hair. Sloppy Whoopi shows up the late every day (thats a fact) and slides stoned into her chair.
Bethenney actually listened to the guests. She looked lovely. Dressed daytime talk show appropriate. Yes Joy Behar was harsh. So glad Survivor girl rapid chipmunk, Hasselbeck, wasn’t there .

i thought what whoopie had to say about books was great. i am the same way. if traveling i have at least 5 books with me. i even keep backups in car in case i forget to put one in my purse when going anywhere. you never know when a minute to read pops up. like waiting for trains, drive thru lines.
Breast feeding for me was very difficult and frustrating. And then I felt guilty for having a hard time and being frustrated. And there were many well meaning morons telling me it wasn’t hard. That’s an insensitive and harmful approach to take. Thank you Bethenny for expressing what many women are afraid to say.

It’s funny, but years ago, I lived in Henderson, Nevada…and I swear I’ve met Jacqueline. When she said that she had been a stylist there, it clicked with a vague memory I have. The woman I remember was very “Las Vegas showgirl/beauty queen”style-big hair, cheesy jewelry, tight jeans, lots of cleavage, but younger and skinnier than the Jacqueline we see on the show. Not positive that it is the same person, but I think so. She was also very sweet, if it is the same person.
Anyway…I’ve never seen more mind numbingly dumb people on television than this show. It doesn’t matter what Ashley’s motivation was – and I don’t believe for a second that she really thought Danielle had struck her mother – you don’t put your hands on people. Period. And if you do, then you deserve what you get.
I’m not a Danielle supporter at all, but getting your hair yanked out hurts. We’re not talking about a painless assault here. And Danielle, wisely for once, was attempting to get away from all of them. She didn’t deserve to be physically assaulted.
They should have just left her the hell alone-since that is what all of them are always saying they want to do anyway. Danielle is perfectly good at making a complete ass of herself-they should just chill out and let her continue doing so. And while Bravo certainly sets up all this confrontational crap, each of these women does have the capacity to say no. Dina did it. Caroline does it. But Teresa and Jac apparently don’t have the common sense of a grasshopper between them.
Tiresome. The entire show is tiresome. I’m hanging in to watch the reunion, but the whole thing is so transparently manipulated and forced that I hope Bravo pulls the plug next season or gets a new cast.
And I really wish someone would smack that disgusting little smirk of Ashley’s face. I got the sense that Chris would really like to.

I thought Andy did a poor job of concealing his contempt of Danielle, he was just rude to her. Of course she lets it pass because she is enjoying her 15 minutes too much. Andy must have issues with his “mother”.
Even if Danielle had hit her mother it wouldn’t make it right. Are you listening Caroline? It’s not like she came upon Danielle beating her mother and she intervened to save her.
I’m not a Danielle fan either but I do believe it hurt. And extensions are expensive and they would have had to have been replaced. Ashley got what she deserved. And since then she has laughed about it, denied hurting her and continued taunting her on Twitter and the Bravo blog. Has Chris thrown her out of the house? I didn’t think so. I have to quote Danielle here, “Great parenting Jacqueline. Awesome.”
I was dismayed to see the results of the poll. 80% thought Danielle shouldn’t have pressed charges. Why not? If someone pulled hair out of my head, I’m sure I’d feel violated. I know it’s not a stabbing, but I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t like it.
I really doubt the accuracy of that poll, unless the Manzo and other clans paid for a phone bank to skew the results, then Bravo put the fix in.
I find it hard to believe that any reasonable person wouldn’t press charges and that if there was even a sliver of hesitation, it would be evaporated by Ashely’s further behavior e.g. ‘unbe-weave-able’ , ‘I did it because she is a bitch’ ect.
I think the show was becoming so boring that the producers just change the results to cause some drama and get people talking. There was nothing else going on!
I always thought Sweaty Andy was creepy too. I am still shocked at how everyone fawns over him, especially ‘real’ stars, like SJP and Kelly Ripa. He must really have some pull in the biz!
He does seem to have friendships with some very respected people, like you mentioned, also Natasha Richardson (R.I.P).
I’m not sure what his appeal is, maybe he throws ‘fabulous’ parties.
PS. I also agree with you about the results. They seemed to be a little to level with rounded numbers like 80% and 20%.

Andy is so gross. He has changed so much in one year. It’s like sending your child to a semester abroad in college and seeing a complete transformation. Only, going abroad usually makes people more mature and self-aware. WWHL has made Andy more immature and completely self-serving and gross. He appears to be a lush and it’s not a good thing. His smirks, his obsessions with inappropriate things like 13 year-old Ben Weiner and Grandma Wrinkles is jarring. And he should learn to disguise his contempt better. As much as he “hated” Jill, he never treated her with as much open hostility as he treats Danielle.
I think most of his A list friends like Sarah Jessica will not be appearing on WWHL in the near future.

I think the jury is out on whether Danielle has done a good jib with those beautiful girls. It’s hard to believe they can escape their childhood unscathed. They certainly are exposed to things they should not be. Time will tell.
I am not a fan of any of the RHONJ, but I must say that Danielle is smarter than all the rest of them put together. She’s got brains plus street smarts. It’s all her psychological/emotional baggage that brings her (and us) down. I can’t judge what’s wrong with her…don’t have the credentials…but there is obviously something very wrong….some kind of untreated personality disorder…maybe even sociopathic. Since psychiatry is an art and not a science, there could be a difference of opinion as to what type of disorder she has. But I think we can all agree that her behavior is not normal. I don’t delight in her misfortunes and I wish her no harm. Can’t say the same for Teresa—can’t wait for that crook to get what’s fast coming her way!

Hey People! Bethenny was just on the view. I thought she was going to be on on Thursday. My daughter called, long distance, to tell me it was today. No one can get a word in edgewise with those three chatter boxes on. Bethenny fought hard to be included in the conversation but like with Jill, they just talked over her. I had the View on my DVR while I ran errands and just watched it. Joy Behar is insufferable. She makes no bones about her dislike of the guests and she sure does not like Bethenny. Joy barely took part in any of the conversations but she basically ignored Bethenny the whole time she was on.
I think that Joy vacations in the Hamptons where her doppleganger Jill plays throughout the summer and they are probably “friends”. Even so, she could barely disguise her dislike of Bethenny and put her down for the nursing remark. Joy is a hateful person and I once thought her rather amusing. Not so much anymore.
And as much as Elizabeth gets on my last nerve, she probably could have shared some experiences with Bethenny since they both have babies and the nursing issue may have been explored much better as they both do it.
No wonder I don’t watch the View. It is mostly populated by idiots.

How nice. We had a second home when we were young. It a cabin with an outhouse on 40 acres in Taylor, Wisconsin. Dad heated water in the tractor for the Sat. night tub bath so we would be clean for Church on Sunday morning.

As to Jacqueline and her idiotic defenses (I just read her blog on Bravo. Apparently it was written a while ago bf the chase episode aired); I think Ashley has a point when it comes to her mom and maybe that is where a lot of her frustration stem from. She already said Jacqueline is two faced and she probably felt her mom was taking Danielle’s side during the whole Manzo vs. Danielle battle last season. And I must admit, Jacqueline seemed to defend Teresa more in last night’s episode than she did her own daughter! And to me, Teresa started the whole shitstorm! How she could blame Teresa’s actions on Danielle being around is beyond me. At the end of the day, maybe all Ashley wants is some love…from her mother, the Manzos, Blockbuster video guy, whoever! And like Danielle, she’s gonna find it in the wrong places.

Yep. And I am privy to some inside stuff on the merit of the lawsuit. Sue Hassett, an unknown well intended person who suffers form this disease, self published a book called Living With Celiac Disease. When she heard Hasselbeck say she had the disease on The View – she sent EH a copy as a gift to the studio – she has the signed receipt – from April 2009. Hasselbeck never thanked Hassett for the book. Or acknowledged her in any way in the book.
Shortly thereafter, Hasselbeck came out with ” Living G- Free” – she completely plagiarized the book – the layout – many of the euphemisms – many examples. I ve seen the evidence – I’ve compared both books. Oh yeah – it’s plagiarized all right – EH stole intellectual property of a nobody thinking she could get away with it. This “case has merit”.

Yep, Hasselbeck amped up the Griifin war yesterday – calling her “scum” on the show. In Kathy’s words from her appearance last month on the View where Hasselbeck made a silly and failed attempted to dis KG on air – but came off as a cocky unprofessional and petulant child (yawning at Kathy’s schtick etc). Wow did that go viral.
Yep – me too – waiting for Kathy to incorporate it into her act. In Kathy’s words to Hasselbeck last month – on the show itself: “Bring it, Elisabeth. You know I live for this.”
It was heaven.

Following Caroline’s defense of Ashley, wouldn’t it be totally appropriate and understood if Christine attacked Ashley? NOT RIGHT but CORRECT?
Ashley attacked Danielle because she “thought” D hit her mom. Ashley actually attacked Danielle. Would it be understood and accepted, by Caroline and the Manzos, if Christine surprised Ashley and attacked her with a group of friends? I mean, if Christine’s intent was to protect her mom from a lunatic, and defend her mom’s honor, would the Manzos understand and say Ashley deserved the beat down? Ashley outweighs Christine by 50lbs, so if she gets a little help from her friends is it okay?Ashley helped Teresa and Jac by playing enforcer. So if Christine and friends had jumped Ashley would the Manzos call it a day or would they want to press charges? Charges for sure. By the way, the above fantasy scenario is just that, because Danielle’s daughters are well behaved and intelligent. Butterbean Ashley would love a go at that lovely girl Christine. However, she won’t do it because she was stopped by Danielle and the court system. Had Danielle not pressed charges I am sure that bully Ashley would’ve attacked Christine not only online but physically also. Good job Danielle. She put the brakes on a potential runaway train.
And another point, LOL, there’s alot of talk about Danielle “talking” to her daughters so freely. That seems to be the case with all the housewives of New Jersey. All these kids are privy to all that is going down. Maybe Danielle does over share with her kids, but they seem to be handling this role as their mom’s confidantes well. They talk her off the ledge and rear her in when necessary. Is it okay? Not really but that’s how it’s going down. Danielle’s daughters are discreet, not openly mocking, slandering and hating adults like Jac’s kids with Ashley v. Danielle, also CJ called the pig Danielle. Teresa’s Gia claiming she’s too pretty to work mocking Danielle’s words is more proof that these kids are listening and understanding the context of their words. TMI

Wow,Ashely’s blog… The only thing I see here are excuses, lies to explain what the viewer could clearly see for themselves, and blame for others for Ashley’s own actions. Thank god I don’t know Ashley, will never know Ashley, or have to actually speak to Ashley. As for parenting her; I think we are seeing too little too late. She has no clue how horrible she is, her parents are not tough enough, and she doesn’t listen to anyone (her aunt Caroline and her boyfriend) who tries to tell her the truth about herself. It’s that type of message that leaves some young mothers feeling inadequate. It did to me.
Does the RHNJ make anyone else sad? Initially when it came on it was “OK”. Later it became almost comical how these “woman” behaved. Honestly now I just find the whole thing sad. It is sad that grown women can spend like money is water and then apparently have no remorse about it and continue to try and cover her tracks with lies. It is sad that people can resort to violence without feeling any guilt and again try to justify their behavior with lies. It is sad when people with no apparent parenting skills or a desire to raise responsible children continue to breed. It makes me sad to think that in society not only is this now acceptable, but should be celebrated by sharing with the world for “The largest Ratings Ever”. It actually makes me concerned for the future. The fact that these women don’t even see themselves as they really are is not just sad, it’s a little scary. Maybe Dina saw the light and left. I can only hope that Bravo has as well and puts an end to this.
It is past sad. When if first came on I was in disbelief that these women acted like their lives were so fabulous – I saw tacky, materialistic, uneducated and boring lives but found I could laugh at it. Then it got hateful, gossipy and creepy. Now it is angry, disrespectful and going criminal – must miss TV!
I couldn’t contain my boredom and read Ashely’s blog. I think ‘fat arms’ are the least of her worries. She’s an idiot- pure and simple.

Wondering – if someone hit/attacked my mom….first, I would go find my MOM to make sure she was alright!! I would not first go and cowardly attack someone from behind and then brag about it. Her excuses are lame and the film tells a very different story – it’s pathetic to watch and nauseating to read.
Wondering – if I knew chaos was about to break out (Teresa wanting to talk to Danielle) would I sit and watch it or go directly to find my daughter and get her out of there knowing how immature she was???? I would not sit and watch my friend cause a scene, start a riot and then lie to the police!
News flash: My daughter would not be modeling there and with the known facts that she hates Danielle, continues to bait Danielle and is not trustworthy or mature that is a simple, slamdunk parenting decision. I would not be there either because I would be with my daughter who continues to make poor choices! Danielle and Teresa are grown up and can do whatever they want but my daughter has to come first and we all know that Bravo does not make you do anything you don’t want to do!
This show is not entertaining – these children/young adults should not be on this show because the behavioral examples their parents are giving are not good ones. They are showing their kids that you can start fights and lie about your part in it! Teresa is proud that her daughters are “fighters”? Let’s see what happens when the school they attend kick them out for fighting! It is bad enough to see grownups act this way – it is just plain sad to see their children copy their attitudes and behavior.

Does anyone know what marathon Kelly Bensimon is running in to raise money for the American Cancer Society? I believe it is in November in NYC. The reason I ask is that I know someone who is running and raising money for that marathon and you can go on the website and search for an athelete and make a donation. I did this for my friend, but cannot find her listed as an athelete. I don’t want to accuse her of something and than find out I am confusing marathons, but I guess I take what she tweets with a grain of salt. Like part of proceeds from her feather brained earrings going to charity, etc. How do we really know? There is something sad and lonely about her tweeting to sell her goods or post a youtube workout. When the others do it, like Bethenny, Ramona and Alex, I feel like they have a PR team working with them and it is a professional undertaking. With Kelly, it feels like a 14 year old girl trying to make money so she can go on a school field trip. These are the important issues that keep me up at night. Any one know any thing??

I didn’t see Kelly’e tweet about this – but the New York City Marathon is always the first weekend of November. And you have to apply to get in and get registered (get a number) – it’s not that easy – literally thousands of people from around the world apply annually to his particular marathon.
But then again, maybe KiKi just tells them that “she wants in and would do amazing things to help them if they let her in” like she told the Dean at Columbia to let her in and bypass the application procedure.
And her tweets are so adolescent sounding.
Thanks! Yes, it is the NYC Marathon. I checked with my friend and if you don’t qualify you can get in with charitable donations and that is what he is doing. I think it is $2500 or $3500 entry to charity (what a great idea way to raise money). So where is Kiki’s page? I believe she has claimed she is doing it to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Oh well, maybe she is doing it privately.

Bravo needs to re-do their contracts and inform people before they sign up that they cannot later say they were just actors or characters. We all it’s not true but it irks me to hear idiots like Danielle and Kelly use it as an excuse. OMG, I have got to do some work – I think I am still on the payroll.

Alex’s guest blog is up on Bravo. What a class act!
IMO, it didn’t come across as all that classy to me. It came across as strangely sympathetic (although not nearly as much as the last blog) towards women who behaved like criminals.
I would love to know what is so ‘debatable’ about having criminal charges filed against someone who assaulted you, especially since there is a history there. It says that the problem has escalated to the point where the law does need step in.
I don’t disagree with you that pressing charges against someone who assaulted you isn’t “debatable”, especially when the person subsequently makes it clear that they just don’t get that they did something wrong.
But, Alex was clear in pointing out that ALL the women behaved badly at the country club, so I’m not sure where she is being ‘strangely sympathetic’.
Teresa should have just let it go. Jac should have just left without T. as soon as she realized that T. was going to get in D’s face. I can almost guarantee that T. would have followed Jac if Jac had insisted on leaving before D. appeared. Danielle should have just kept walking and not allowed Kim G. to persuade her to return. Better yet, Danielle should never have gone in the first place. Ashley should have just…well, behaved like anyone but the spoiled brat she is.
Jac keeps talking, talking, talking about how “Danielle says this” and “Danielle says that”. I mean, her blogs are 4 or 5 pages of Danielle, Danielle, Danielle. The problem isn’t just that Danielle spreads rumors, it’s also that these women put too much importance in the rumors she spreads. They just keep feeding the attention whore and then switching to victim mode themselves every time they hear something new.
I’d love to line them all up and tell them to quit the show and get on with their real lives, because they are boring as hell.
I think the very fact that Alex would suggest that it’s ‘debatable’ denotes at least an ounce of sympathy. Coming of the heels of her last blog, yes I stand by my opinion that it is indeed strangely sympathetic. (Of course, you are free to disagree. I can’t comment on the Manzo’s, because the specifics of these claims aren’t listed, but the next one actually looks pretty tame:

However as we reported this week, the company of Jacqueline’s husband, Chris Laurita, filed for bankrupty last year. The company, Signature Apparel Group LLC, was behind the Rocawear and Eve’s Fetish clothing brands. The financial issues found on the Lauritas were for the years 1988 and 1990.
United Jersey bank successfully won a judgment against Chris for over $18,000 in 1988.
American Express also successfully won a judgment against Chris for almost $3000 in 1990.
Two judgments, totaling $21,000 which occurred 20+ years ago and which he has probably paid off long since really aren’t that big a deal. And that $18,000 looks like a car loan he defaulted on-not all that unusual for a guy in his early 20’s to buy more car than he can really afford.
As for the bankruptcy of his apparel group, well, who knows? The economy sucks, buyers are fickle, and clothing lines are notoriously unstable as an investment. Can’t really tar Chris with the Giudice’s brush without more details.

Aside from the hospital and doctor bills that Caroline apparently owed, that really didn’t surprise me – because of the Brownstone.
I have friends who have owned a similar hotel/restaurant/banquet facility at South Lake Tahoe for years, and they’ve had numerous judgments for and against them. It is part and parcel of owning that type of business. They’ve sued vendors, vendors have sued them, guests have fallen on the ice and sued, wedding couples haven’t liked some detail of their wedding and sued. Litigation is a side effect of that type of business.

Did anyone catch Bethenny on the View today? It seem like Joy was kind of rude to her when Bethenny said certain things. In my eyes Joy/Jill what is the difference. Both jealous women and says things when they are totally inappropriate. Bethenny held her own though and did a great job. I thought she was suppose to be on Thursday (she still might be) glad I caught today’s show. I bet Jill had to be committed after watching her.
NJ gals goodgolly I can no longer watch that show. I am so tired of Manielle,Teresa and the Kims. Jacqueline is okay but my goodness naive. Teresas outfits are way out there and are not flattering at all. I have always said that alarms should go off when people buy clothing that does not look good on them. I’ve missed a lot need to play catch up. I’m actually out of town and finally have some down time. I didn’t watch NJ HW and it sounds like I didn’t miss anything. But Lynn’s recap makes me want to just see the clothes the Giudice’s were wearing. So Saint Albie got his letter, now let’s see if Caroline can buy his Law degree (his situation is only going to get harder, but I’m sure they are working on some fresh excuses and people to blame). Can’t wait to see how many times it takes him to pass the BAR or if the family will get caught trying to pay someone off.
(BTW anyone with a learning disability should not take this as an insult, I have one too. I don’t trust the Manzo’s and I have seen enough of Caroline making excuses for her everyone in her family.)

Somewhere in the mass of posts, someone mentioned that NJ had a promo where Christine’s dad shows up at a birthday party. I finally saw it. He does look like the father of Danielle’s girls and a little like Jon Voight to me. It was totally weird to have a large man carry the daughter out on his shoulder. She must have been mortified.
Danielle must have come up with that idea. Ceasar and his Queen carried out by slaves. That fits Danielle’s idea of elegance.
Zoey thank you for the link to The View. I was so excited that Bethenny was going to be on the show. I had to work today so I recorded the show. The first thing that I did when I got home was to sit down and watch it. I was appalled at the way that Joy answered Bethenny in regards to breast feeding. I very rarely watch this show because I can’t stand Elisabeth. I thought I was watching Jill Zarin herself when Joy was talking. She was downright rude to Bethenny. I thought Bethenny did a great job, she new about the other guests, asked great questions and didn’t look at her cards at all. I will be voicing my opinion in regards to Joy. I thought she was extremely nasty to Bethenny on her show a few weeks ago and now this. I think that Joy and Jill make a great team they are both nasty, vicious, jealous woman.

Do you shave her? I keep my two Blenheim’s hair really short. I know in show they would kill me for doing something like that, but I don’t show them, and they shed A LOT. They really are the most lovable dogs and she’s a cutie.
No. I usually only take her to be trimmed once a year in the summer, and then I have to be really really specific or else she gets a really unflattering “mall cut”. It turns out Rachel Zoe knows her shit. Long stringy hair on either side of her face and long flowy skirts are a good look. A short bob and a short skirt puts like 2o lbs on visually.

I have a question. Is there a Bravo film crew that shoots all of the episodes for HWONJ, BGM, HWONY etc? Like on BGM do they set up a camera (and leave it there) and have Bethenny or Jason turn it on when there is a big event like when her water broke? This might sound naive but I was just wondering. It would be very intrusive to have a film crew in your home constantly.
I believe there is a crew, and also think some things are restaged, not live, like the pregnancy test. They may have happened just like that, but then are restaged for the camera.

Well I just learned something about Markus and Idrani from the Bravo Double Exposure show. I now have another Bravo show I need to ban. They were on CNN Larry King tonight (his show was about Lindsey Lohan going to jail) not only did they both support Lindsey and said she needs help but they didn’t think jail was the answer at all. But Idrani used this interview on the night that season finale is airing that she had a relationship (intense and spiritual) with Lindsey.
The issue is not that she hooked up with Lindsey or any female. It’s the timing and how she used the situation to exploit her at this time, what was the need for going there? I’m no fan of Lindsey at all, I think she should stay in jail for the full term, but she is messed up and now Idrani (another Bravo Fame Whore) is using this and it just happens to be on the same night their season finale is airing. Pathetic. Where does Bravo find these people?
I hope they can recast it or something, because I find the work part interesting, but watching those two is just too much to handle

Luann exercises and during the first season, she had a drop dead sexy figure. She’s lost a lot of weight in the divorce diet and the people in NY have given her compliments, but take a look at her at the Hampton’s Equestrian Event and you’ll see what I mean. I think a bit of lean muscle is very attractive on Luann. She looked like Sophia Loren.

I just heard the latest Mel Gibson tape and read some of the comments at a few sites. Can’t believe about 1/2 the comments support him. WTH? Are these the same people that vote that Danielle started the fight at the fashion show and shouldn’t press charges? Who are these people? This is not the first time Mel has been caught being a vile, egotistical racist and hate-filled human being. I don’t know how anyone can support him – regardless of what they think of Oksana. Remember other narcissistic stars like OJ and Robert Blake? They also claimed their baby mamas were gold diggers, sluts, etc… Too bad these women were dead and unable to defend themselves when the claims were made. I don’t care what the motives of these women were, these are men with a lot of money and resources and they picked these women. They took the lives of these women (imo) and took their children, and got away with it. I’m glad that Oksana is alive to defend herself and make sure she doesn’t become another Nicole Simpson. If she gets rich in the process, I have no problem with that whatsoever – he deserves to be hit where it hurts. He should to be taken to cleaners and banished from the entertainment industry all together. Hopefully, he’ll get some serious help for his own sake, but he should just be gone. Two wrong don’t make a right IMO. This does have a Kiki “systematic bullying” aspect to it. Take those tapes to the police honey, or at least your lawyer. Bringing it to the tabloids just diminishes her side of the story and makes a mockery of victims like Nicole Simpson.
I understand your point, but respectfully disagree. These are ultra-powerful men with tons of enablers and endless resources – they literally get away with murder. Nicole Simpson had 911 to her house how many times? Mel Gibson and OJ Simpson are cut from the same cloth – very similar patterns of behavior. If Nicole had gone public, maybe, just maybe, she’d still be alive. Oksana’s wrong (is she released the tapes) is nowhere near his wrong, IMO. He makes death threats, repeatedly. Judging by his behavior, I’d take them seriously.

I agree. If she had just gone to the police, the tapes may never have been released to the public as they weren’t 911 tapes. I think having this out in the open gives her a bit more protection than just going to the police. Sad to say, but true, given Nicole Simpson’s fate.
Regardless of her possible behavior (gold digging?), the verbal and alleged physical abuse was more than enough to validate her actions of taping their conversation then releasing the tapes to the tabloids.
In my book, if you threaten, I’ll use whatever means I need to to make record of those threats and bring them to the public eye. She’s smart not to go the “he said, she said” route with the police, especially not with someone with his money and supposed power, if he still has any, that is. Recording someone without their knowledge may be unethical, but considering her life may be at stake, it was a smart and necessary move.
If someone has done or threatens to do you bodily harm, you fight back, and fight back dirty. It’s your life at stake. Ethics be damned! Your motive for doing so is for self protection, not to do someone else harm.

I agree with you on that end, EMT2. Mel needs some type of help and I am sure the help he needs go backs to his alcoholism which I am sure stems from some other stuff that he is fighting. And honey you can dress that thing up with religion, alcohol, drugs, overspending, however you want but brokenness is still brokenness and somewhere along the lines in his life, he was broken and never put himself back together. No one wakes up one day and says I want to be a raging alcoholic that beats my wife. No one does that. Bravo probably isn’t getting tired of these tidbits! Viewers are still responding so they are getting the kind of feedback they may use to decide who to ask back for another season. IMO, Bethenny is playing this correctly – not a firm no and not a yes if but a constant I don’t know – which is true. If BMG? has only one season she may do RHONY if the cast is more drama free.

My anesthesiologist daughter had a monitor and watched her baby all night like Bethenny. There are one thousand books on how to help your baby sleep. My daughter read all one thousand.
Babies are all different and helping them establish a routine that works (like sleeping through the night) is challenging. Bethenny is willing to admit she needs “education” and that she has questions, concerns, etc and knows being a mom is a very hard job! I remember the big debate of putting babies on their backs or stomachs to sleep! Giving them pacifiers or not. My granny used to say babies are like snowflakes – no two are alike!

Windy… Your Granny was a wise woman… so was mine! When my kids were born in the late 70’s and early 80’s they all slept on their tummies! Then, when they had their babies everything had changed and they were told to put their babies on their backs. Fine, except the first granddaughter would not sleep on her back-finally I told my daughter to let her sleep on her tummy, she did, everything was okay and she finally slept through the night. I don’t think doctors have all the answers… each baby is different.
I do think babies (after 6 weeks-longer if premature) slept better if they’re in their own room or at least in their own bed!
I totally agree, every baby is different. Our son stayed in our bed for far too long – it was for his safey is how we justified it. Thinking back, it was for our piece of mind.
I kept my first in bed with me too long also. I was the one that wasn’t ready. Then when I was it was very difficult for her. It was a mistake but a mistake made by love.
What did that producer say at the very end of that clip of Bethenny back stage? It oddly sounded like “Jill will be back tomorrow”—What? Bethenny was sitting in for Elizabeth Hasselback. The word Elizabeth does not sound like Jill—am I hearing things? Was that a huge Freudian slip by the producer? Anyone?

SO, I went to Barnes and Noble yesterday after work looking for Bethennys book. I could not find it however they had Theresa’s book in a position where everyone could see it easily. Once I found Beth’s books I placed them were Theresa’s were and put Theresa’s in the shelf. LOL!! It felt good.
FYI I also glimpsed and article in Star magazine about Bethenny’s mom. Not sure if you guys have seen it yet they have more pics of Bethenny as a little girl.

What has always bothered me about the View is that none of these ladies seem to like or listen to each other’s opinions! If anyone of them don’t like the “guest” they go after that person – so why have guests? Bethenny came prepared to actually participate and Joy was condesending, nasty and put her down for her opinions! So if you are tuning in to watch a particular guest it is disappointing to say the least! Why is this show still on the air?
I have never liked The View. It would be interesting to listen to the differing political opinions if any of the women seemed at all knowledgable about the topics. It looks more like they just automatically oppose the other side. If EH is for it, JB is against. And visa versa. If EH said children shouldn’t eat too much sugar JB would say they should eat nothing but sugar. If JB said that wine was bad for babies EH would say they should be given wine in their bottles. WG would go on a psuedo intellectual ramble about both sides and SS would misunderstand everybody.

I’m not sure I agree that JB and EH don’t know their poli stuff. I just think it’s comes off more dum because of the sound byte pace of the show. Nothing is ever discussed in any kind of depth. It’s sorta like speed dating for current events.

I don’t see Theresa as a danger to kids. In fact, I think she overindulges her own out of a sense of love more than a sense of nurturing and guidance.
But I do think she is capable of going after an adult she deems worthy of her spite. She has already shown that during last week’s episode. Given the chance, she would have layed hands on Danielle which was the whole purpose of that “friendly greeting” in the lobby in the first place.
um… she let’s little kids ride in cars on highways with no seatbelt on, and she let’s them ride on motorized vehicles without a helmet saying “it was only for a minute”, and just how child-proff is a marble and onyx McMansion. Maybe if this was 1957, I’d agree with you that she’s not a danger to kids, but I suspect that if I asked T to watch my can of cling peaches, she’d return it dented.
Her kids act just like her – they are fighters too! I am wondering if that baby’s skull is deformed or she is being brain damaged from all those bow things. Baby’s skulls are not closed so if you bind it with “hair accessories” constantly – will this affect her brain function in the future.
To answer your question: I wouldn’t let her watch my kids and I wouldn’t let my kids play with her kids.

If the responsibility for watching my kids was for a one-time deal for a couple of hours, I’d be okay with anyone of the HWs except Kelly, Daniel, and Lynn. I think the three of them are unstable and unable to focus on anything but themselves or what’s on their minds at the moment.
On the other hand, if the responsibility for watching my kids was a regular gig, I’d be more selective because the sitter would likely make an impression on my children. In this case, the HW cast members that I’d choose would be Alex, Simon, Mario, Avery, maybe Ally (no JZ allowed on the premises), Jason, Caroline (even though she bugs me), and Vicki Gunvelson’s daughter. They strike me as people that would enjoy it and/or would be nurturing. On the shows, we see them responding to other people’s needs a lot. P.S. I wouldn’t ask Ramona, Bethenny or Vicki – even though they are good moms -because I think they are very career-driven and already juggling work and family to the limit.

Just read Alex’s blog covering this week’s episode. Disappointing in that she more or less danced around the whole thing and even failed to mention Theresa’s participation from the beginning.
I always thought that of all the Housewives, Alex possessed the most class but I admit to be somewhat baffled that she gave Theresa a pass overall for behaving like a mad dog.
I understand that they much of what these ladies do is built into their contracts, i.e, appearing together and so on, but she either should have not bothered to comment, or at least lay the blame at the feet of the instigator, Theresa. Oh well.
Alex is classy, articulate and tactful – she would never blog anything like the RHONJ women do. She chooses her words carefully and is a good Bravo team player. She called out Jill because of what Jill did to her personally on her own show. But Alex is careful to keep her comments contained to the scenes we see on RHONJ and does acknowledge that there is likely more we didn’t see. I bet she is very glad she is not on that trainwreck of a show! lol
I have to disagree. Last week’s blog from Alex was so anti-Danielle and pro-Teresa that I had a hard time reading it. She says that she doesn’t know if Danielle was justified in pressing charges for Ashley’s physical attack? That situation is very clear-cut for me and anyone with intelligence. If Danielle had been the one to run after Teresa and it was Christine who had pulled Teresa’s hair, everyone who be calling for REAL jail time (not just a fine). Ashley assaulted someone else, point blank. Not debatable.
Alex should know better but I think she is trying to play both sides or at least she is trying to appeal to the Jersey fan base as she has upcoming business in Jersey. She was not very harsh with Teresa, at all. At all, actually and she spent more time criticizing Danielle and Ashley. Alex was probably one of the people who called into the poll on WWHL and said that Danielle wasn’t justified in pressing charges.
I like Alex overall but I have to say that I’m starting to see things about her that make me believe some of the criticism I’ve read about her.

I agree with you—I was very disappointed that Alex was going soft on Danielle. Can you imagine if Kelly had run after Bethenny? What would Alex say then? And believe me, I am no fan whatsoever of Kelly—I think she is a very sick chic. This scene with Ashley assaulting Danielle is a “learning moment”—Alex should have risen to the occasion and gone on the record against this violence. Tsk, tsk, tsk, Alex.
IMO, Bravo started the cross over guest blogging to get people to watch all the shows. Teresa’s style is very different from Alex’s style blogging – and the two shows are very different as well. So Alex seems on the fence or soft pedals because slamming other employees isn’t good for business – she is a professional woman and knows that a happy employer is more likely to keep her employed.

Alex is still a class act in my book. I don’t think she or any other guest blogger has the obligation to tell it like it is or lay it all out there or however it can be phrased. Maybe Oksana is a gold digger, or maybe she isn’t. I have no idea and don’t really care. Mel Gibson is certainly old enough and has been around enough to spot a gold digger and avoid her if he wants to; if he didn’t, then he has no one else to blame but himself.

I’ve nothing against Robyn Gibson supporting Mel. They were married for nearly 3o years, and he was allegedly good to her and their children, so why shouldn’t she support him?
I’m just not going to commend him for not ever hitting Robyn during their marriage. Sorry, but no man should be commended for not doing something that they shouldn’t do in the first place.
The Gibsons have established residency in California. California is a community property state. When they married, Mel was a struggling actor, so I am sure there was no prenup. Whether she publicly supports him or not, Robyn is already entitled to a major share of his fortune. so ‘keeping the money in the family’ can’t be much of an issue. There’s never been any suggestion that Mel Gibson is refusing to provide for his children with Robyn, or to short change Robyn in terms of a settlement.
Whether Oksana is entitled to any financial settlement or not, I have no idea, and don’t much care. But, they did have a child together-and the baby is entitled to be taken care of by both parents. I doubt even Robyn would claim that the baby should be deprived just because Oksana was the other woman.
Actually, I remember Mel Gibson being on late night talk shows after Oksana got pregnant (like the 4th “damage crisis” tour of his career) and confirming that he and Robyn had been separated for over 2 years when he met Oksana. I understood that Robyn agreed not to file for divorce and keep up appearances during their separation. This was a while after the DUI rant and starting the Church of Mel (originally in his backyard).

So, maybe Robyn just went along with everything in the later years to protect herself and the kids as much as possible, but I don’t think she was able to live with him when he started losing it completely. Definitely, she has learned not to rock the boat – possibly how she survived the later years with Mad Mel. I can see her following his lead and verifying his statements even to this day – just to keep him placated and tame for her sanity and that of their kids (and, bet she signed a tight confidentiality agreement during the divorce settlement). For all we know, the public outing of Oksana as Mel’s girlfriend was Robyn’s gift from baby Jesus. He tells Oksana on the last tape “nobody will believe you!”, though he never denies her allegations. I’d guess Robyn may have heard that line before too. Once the picture of Mel and Oksana kissing on the beach was caught by paparazzi and publicized, Robyn didn’t waste a single day filing for divorce – he couldn’t deny that he had broken the marriage vows and she had leverage to keep him out of her hair by not revealing secrets or badmouthing him.
I choose to believe Robyn Gibson never had her husband stolen (if that’s even possible), she was thrilled that someone publicly took her discarded garbage off of her curb! And she’s got $350 million or so to boot….

Sorry if I seem oddly calm about the whole thing, but I always disliked him and his movies. When it came out, like over a decade ago, what an grade a a-hole he was, I wasn’t surprised. As the years pass, I guess I’m supposed to be shocked with each new revelation “He’s not just an a-hole, he’s a super a-hole.” no wait “he not just a super a-hole, he’s like a super duper atomic a-hole” etc…
but I just can’t work myself up into caring. I pegged him for scum a decade ago, and oddly, find no enjoyment in my suspicions being proven true.
I have no use for him either. I remember an article about a house they had on the east coast. They had farm animals and put them right next to the neighbor’s lot line so all of the smell and there was a smell would go to the neighbor’s house. I have horses, donkeys, a couple of abandoned goats, dogs and cats. I make sure my neighbors are treated respectfully by all of the members of Noah’s Ark.
Was I a fan? No, not really. I mean, I’ve seen a few of Gibson’s movies, and enjoyed them, but I’ve never have gone to see a film just because Gibson was in it or directed it. I never found him all that appealing.
I just find physical abuse and racism unconscionable. I’d make the same statements about Joe Blow from Detroit if he was in the news instead of Mel Gibson.

Sorry I can’t remember where-I think it was a comment somewhere, and I don’t know if it is true, but I saw someone mention that Teresa & Joe filed a revised asset list in January. That would actually make sense since we know that the case was postponed sometime in January.

I saw the episode where Teresa plopped down over 100,000 dollars CASH for her new furniture. I wondered what the economy had to do with carrying around that kind of cash. I thought then-Teresa and Joe probably have a lot of cash lying around not wanting to report it to the IRS!

I was very disappointed in Joy’s comment re: breastfeeding is easy. While it’s true for me and many, not all women make the adjustment immediately. I know a number of new moms who found it difficult. Milk wouldn’t come, baby not interested, etc. Frankly, I think she did it because she hates Bethenny. Everyone knows she and Jill Zarin are good buds. She ignored Beth throughout the show and clearly illustrated her disdain for the break out reality star. Joy threw her professionalism out the window and became nothing short of a shrew. What a piece of work.
As to Ox Tail? It is a delicacy in Chinese food culture (Cantonese, anyway). The first time I had it was at a family wedding. Thanks Uncle Jimmy for pointing out, “the bigger the bone, the sweeter the meat”. I nearly gagged, but again, I was only 11 at the time. I also had shark fin soup for the first time at that wedding also. Hate to admit it, but it was very good. The only other soup I recall at a different family wedding was Bird’s Nest Soup. Main ingredient – a bird’s nest, with the dung removed. Yum huh? lol, it was delicious even to us kids. Oh the things we remember from our childhoods.

I have posted about this already on here but I think it bears repeating. Breastfeed can be very difficult for the reasons you mentioned. I had quite a hard time with my first child. Lots of people made a point of dismissing my trouble just like Joy Behar. It only increased my anxiety and guilt. I felt totally inadequate as a mother. The baby wasn’t eating, I wasn’t eating. Both of us cried all the time. My La Leche coach was a facist about the whole thing and demanded I not give in and feed her formula. It was a nightmare.
My pediatrician had his wife call me. She told me the story of her own problems with breastfeeding. I was so relieved. I wasn’t a horrible mother after all! Lots of women have similar trouble but don’t want to admit it. It helped so much just knowing I wasn’t the only one.
I no longer eat meat but I grew up eating Ox Tail Soup. It’s typical Italian peasent food, hearty and delicious. I didn’t know it was a Chinese delicacy too.
Another reason to hate JIll… I mean Joy… no, I mean Jill. She’s behind all things evil when it comes to Bethenny, I’m sure.

Interestingly, I wonder if the new episodes will be aired on NBC daytime or just reruns? If the former, what shows will go the way of the dodo? If the latter, I suppose they will just replace whatever reruns of other daytime shows they have sent into overexposure in order to gain a new market.

I saw Bethenny live when she was on Foxs and Friends. She looked very pretty (a more softer look… I think it’s her hair), and she was very calm. I enjoyed the interview alot.

Doh…. While it would be my fervent hope he is embraced (if this rumor is indeed accurate), old ways die hard. After my niece came out, we had one of our (every three year) family reunions (165 in attendance). My dear, sweet Minister Uncle thought it would be amusing to tell queen (gay) jokes while at the microphone during the main family dinner. I thought my sister would blow a gasket. My niece was there with her then girl friend. Even my mother was pissed. Seems some can accept, some cannot. Why, I do not know. All I know is we wrapped our arms around her and Uncle got the word he fucked up. How long did it take for him to forget all the prejudice he and his siblings suffered for being Asian back in the days of WWII, where no one made a distinction between Chinese/Japanese?
BTW. My aunt Evelyn, wife of my mom’s brother George was born in an internment camp. My mother was attacked by a returning WWII soldier at a beach. In his defense, he suffered what we now know as PTSD and his own parents were mortified as my 17 yr old mother was beaten. Fortunately, her “white” friends had the wherewithal to grab her and toss her into a car for her protection.
Our life experiences teach us alot. In my family’s case, we never looked back. We kept moving forward. I applaud all for that. My minister uncle obviously didn’t get the memo. He’s still a jerk to this day.

She hosted yesterday. Twitter freaks who hate her said Martha Stewart refused to be on the same show as her (Martha is on Thurs). Who knows, who cares. She did a good job. Was talked over constantly, but got in good questions to one of the guests. She did her research, unlike the others who relied on their blue notes.
I think everyone on that show is in constant fear that every guest host will be their replacement. I just find the energy on that show to frenetic. I have no idea what that means but it feels like what I mean.
Martha doing that would not surprise me. Bethenny did a great job and she’s going to be a huge success. People that are negative about that like Jill and probably Martha should mind their own business.
I heard that about Martha on the same show – being a potential problem. They wouldn’t have planned and announced B’s Thurs. appearance publicly in the first place if that was true.
I don’t think that is the reason Beth got bumped from Thursday to Tuesday. E. Hasselbeck was “under the weather” and Beth was called Monday nite to sub for her on Tuesday. So Hasselbeck was a no show for Tuesday’s show.
Rumor has it that Hasselbeck got in trouble for her Kathy Griffin “is scum” and “is a serial killer” remarks on Monday’ show. At least thats what a bunch of us would like to think.
yes, the whole atmosphere is like corporate management after a really bad sales year. Everyone has that scared bunny look on their face.
